Speaker 1: Hello everyone, welcome back to Empower your Soul podcast.
• 0:05
Speaker 1: I am here in my car with another channeled car session today, so thank you in advance for not minding all of the road noise.
• 0:14
Speaker 1: I am a New Englander that uses her signal.
• 0:17
Speaker 1: I'm sorry you might hear that in the background my Blinka, my Blinka, everybody.
• 0:21
Speaker 1: And so I wanted to take this moment today to really talk about.
• 0:26
  Speaker 1: Oh, I was.
• 0:29
Speaker 1: I've been trying to record this a couple times and I know that this is not the direction I'm supposed to go in, because if I hit record PSA for all of you if I hit record and I try to record it three or four times and I just turn into a garbled mess, I know this isn't what I'm supposed to talk about.
• 0:41
Speaker 1: So I'm going to shift the topic a little bit.
• 0:43
Speaker 1: So where I was trying to come from is I was going to try to answer the question that has been out there on my Instagram stories answers or questions for a while now about how to improve your connection with spirit, and I think I could go very quickly down the rabbit hole, because there's many different ways that I can talk about the connection with spirit, because it's all energy.
• 1:04
Speaker 1: It's all about learning the language of energy, which is essentially the language of psychics and mediums, and Akashic Records and spirit guides, and I could go down that rabbit hole and I could go.
• 1:14
Speaker 1: I know you're like, please do, I will eventually, I promise.
• 1:17
Speaker 1: And I could go down the rabbit hole of troubleshooting different things that could go wrong.
• 1:23
Speaker 1: But as I'm kind of starting to record this episode, I feel a departed loved one of mine coming in.
• 1:30
Speaker 1: How do I know that?
• 1:31
Speaker 1: Because I can smell the pot.
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: That's right.
• 1:33
Speaker 1: I come from a very fun family.
• 1:35
Speaker 1: I am not that fun, I'm sorry, but I as if you couldn't tell so I can smell the pot.
• 1:42
Speaker 1: So whenever I smell pot, I know this loved one's coming in today.
• 1:45
Speaker 1: So I'm smelling the pot and I know that he's here today.
• 1:48
Speaker 1: So I wanted to use him today to talk about what I'm supposed to talk about, which is essentially how and why I'm sorry for anyone that's in the Southern Hemisphere why you should be using summer to your advantage here in the Northern Hemisphere, okay, because, well, I guess any anywhere, no matter where, you are using summer to your advantage, because right now it is the middle of summer, is July, the weather is warm, it's gorgeous, it's beautiful.
• 2:15
Speaker 1: Here in new England, we got a very short summer and so, as I'm kind of reading this energy in this question about how do I improve my connection with spirit, I need to talk about why it's important to live your life and have fun and how this relates to your mediumship.
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: Yep, it's true.
• 2:34
Speaker 1: How does this relate to your connection with spirit?
• 2:37
Speaker 1: Because I think this is the number one problem, which is why they're really having me hone really deep on this topic in particular, because most of the people who have trouble with spirit, especially like right now in the middle of this gorgeous weather, it's because you are overworking yourself, it is because you are burnt out, you're tired, you're not eating well, you're not sleeping well, you're not drinking enough water right, all of these are conducive to you being a clearer channel for spirit.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: But instead of going down this, wagging my finger at you for not drinking enough water and I should be wagging that at myself instead I want to talk about the ways that you can positively impact your connection with spirit by having fun, by enjoying yourself, by having the time of your life.
• 3:26
Speaker 1: Because, yeah, we can really focus on these little things like meditating more and connecting with spirit more, but the reality is that spirit is high, vibe Okay, and so when I'm telling you to drink more water, how does that make you feel, right?
• 3:42
Speaker 1: When I'm telling you to eat your fruits and vegetables and get sleep, how does that make you feel Like it sounds good, but how does that make you feel?
• 3:49
Speaker 1: Because, to me, when I say that out loud, it makes me feel like I don't want to give up my donuts, right?
• 3:54
Speaker 1: I don't want to go to bed early because my best work is done late at night, once the house is quiet, right, and so like for me, when I say that to myself, I feel really constricted in my energy.
• 4:07
Speaker 1: I feel really like ugh, that doesn't feel good.
• 4:10
Speaker 1: And what happens to your vibration when you're doing things that you don't like or don't feel good?
• 4:14
Speaker 1: It's a really simple answer because you're feeling it right now in your body.
• 4:18
Speaker 1: It doesn't feel good.
• 4:18
Speaker 1: It lowers your vibration.
• 4:20
Speaker 1: And so, instead of me berating you on all the things you should be doing and the shoulds are the shits, right, the shoulds come from ego, right, it comes from judgment of other people's expectations Instead of shooting you, I'm going to tell you to go have fun, to improve your connection with spirit.
• 4:39
Speaker 1: Go to the beach.
• 4:42
Speaker 1: Go, honest to God, go have that margarita, right Like.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: Go have the best time.
• 4:47
Speaker 1: Go out with friends.
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: Go to dinner.
• 4:49
Speaker 1: Go take a walk by the park, go hike in nature, right, go do things that make you fucking happy to be here on planet Earth, in this physical world, because when you do things that bring you joy and passion, that reflects in your vibrational energy, that raises your vibration and spirit is high vibes.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: So when you raise your vibration, you naturally are going to be better and more well-connected with spirit.
• 5:22
Speaker 1: So case in point is I'm just coming off of a weekend seeing Suzanne Geisman right now That'll be another podcast episode and my connection all weekend was fucking amazing.
• 5:34
  Speaker 1: Why?
• 5:35
Speaker 1: Because I was in the middle of the woods hanging out with a student of mine, meeting all these new people doing all these readings, surrounded by people that love mediumship, and it was fucking awesome, like it was fantastic.
• 5:49
Speaker 1: Did I drink enough water?
• 5:50
Speaker 1: No, sure as fuck didn't, but what I did do was surround myself with people and things that made me happy and my connection was off the charts, right.
• 6:00
Speaker 1: And so when we're talking about how can you improve your connection with spirit, the simplest, fastest way is to do things that make you happy Sing the loud music right, toss the stereo on full blast, drive with your windows down right, get a kayak, go kayaking right, like.
• 6:20
Speaker 1: Do things that just bring you happiness and joy and feeling more in alignment with who you are.
• 6:26
Speaker 1: And the more that you do things that are in alignment with you, the higher your vibration raises, the more likely that you are going to be having a better connection with spirit.
• 6:34
Speaker 1: So how does this show up in your day to day, right?
• 6:37
Speaker 1: So when you're high vibe and you're digging life and you're having the time of your life, you're going to see more signs from your loved ones.
• 6:45
Speaker 1: You're going to be more open to seeing signs and synchronicities.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: You're going to be more open to noticing the song on the radio that reminds you of your departed loved one.
• 6:56
Speaker 1: You're going to start seeing things like clouds in the sky that have certain shapes that could be a sign for you from your spirit guides.
• 7:06
Speaker 1: You're just more open and more apt to see and acknowledge the magic that exists everywhere that's around you, because when you're more in line with spirit, you're more likely to see the magic too.
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: Yep, I mean.
• 7:24
Speaker 1: It's really honestly that simple.
• 7:26
Speaker 1: I mean I could end the podcast here, but I'll probably give a couple more examples before I end it.
• 7:29
Speaker 1: So how does this actually show up in your mediumship?
• 7:34
Speaker 1: Right, that's great, nicole, I'm high vibe, I'm having a great time, I'm seeing the signs.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: But when I get to my mediumship reading assumption and I'm going to tell you, it's the same exact thing.
• 7:44
Speaker 1: So a lot of people say to meditate, for example, before they're doing readings, whether it's doing meditation, connecting with their departed loved ones, right, a lot of people really go and sit in the power God, if I had a dime for every time I heard that term.
• 8:00
Speaker 1: Sit in the power of spirit, connect with spirit before reading to get your energy ready.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: You know, when I say that, I say fuck that.
• 8:08
Speaker 1: Do you know why?
• 8:09
Speaker 1: I think it's very useful for a lot of people, but for me, sitting in the power and meditating brings my energy and vibration down.
• 8:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, it gets me into that alternative brain state, which is great, but it does it at the detriment of my frequency, because I don't like meditating, I don't like sitting still.
• 8:31
Speaker 1: So, yes, you need to get your brain into that altered state, but you can do that high vibe because you can listen to really loud rap music like I do right.
• 8:43
Speaker 1: You can go and put your hands in the garden, like some of my students do.
• 8:48
Speaker 1: You can do all of these amazing things that feel right for you and bring your energy up and then very quickly ask your brain or ask your team to put your brain in an altered state so that you can do your readings.
• 9:04
Speaker 1: And so I think this is what makes me a different teacher, and those of you that are my students I know you're nodding to this is because I don't think there's one way to do any of this work.
• 9:16
Speaker 1: I think that every way you do this work is right, as long as you come at it with integrity and you come at it with your best and highest expectations.
• 9:27
  Speaker 1: Look at this.
• 9:28
  Speaker 1: Heaven's calling everybody.
• 9:29
Speaker 1: Don't worry, it's just spam, one of the flaws, I guess, of being in the car ride.
• 9:35
Speaker 1: Did you just look at your phone and think someone rang?
• 9:37
  Speaker 1: You're welcome.
• 9:38
Speaker 1: That was a little prank from my buddy over here.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: I knew that he would show up one way or another.
• 9:44
  Speaker 1: I don't even know where I was.
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I don't remember.
• 9:51
Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, sorry, nope, they're just reminding me.
• 9:53
Speaker 1: So I don't think there's one right way to do this stuff.
• 9:56
Speaker 1: So you need to figure out what's the best way that makes you feel the best with this work, what raises your vibration the best?
• 10:03
Speaker 1: And experiment, try it out.
• 10:05
Speaker 1: Maybe it is meditation, maybe it is sitting in the power, maybe it is listening to loud rap music before a reading, maybe it is, you know, dancing before a reading, painting before a reading.
• 10:15
Speaker 1: Whatever works for you, honor that, and I think this is the number one thing, that there's so many phrases I want to say that like charges me up, that irritates me, that bugs me to no end, is students that come to me coming from another teacher and they're like I'm getting nervous, I'm not doing what I should be doing with this work.
• 10:37
Speaker 1: I'm getting nervous that I should be moving really fast through evidence because that's what my teacher said, so that my brain doesn't think about it.
• 10:45
Speaker 1: There's no should in mediumship.
• 10:48
Speaker 1: There's no should, and so do it the way that makes best sense for you.
• 10:58
Speaker 1: And this relates directly back to your connection with spirit, because I bet you, I bet you that you are Googling the shit out of this saying how do I improve my connection with spirit?
• 11:09
Speaker 1: And everything that you're seeing and trying doesn't work, because you need to find the way that works best for you to improve your vibration and connect with spirit, and no one can tell you that.
• 11:22
Speaker 1: I can tell you what works for most people, but you are the one who has to test that out and say does this work or not?
• 11:33
Speaker 1: And it's so freaking frustrating when you try these things and it doesn't work right.
• 11:35
Speaker 1: It feels so upsetting because you think that there's something that you're doing wrong because it works for everyone else but you.
• 11:40
Speaker 1: But no one teaches you that you have to do it your own way and you have to honor your own way, and that's what makes every single one of us mediums absolutely unique in our own right and absolutely amazing in our own right, because we're going to all do it our own way and we're going to find the people that resonate with us in the best way possible.
• 12:02
Speaker 1: So there you have it Car channeling, session number two.
• 12:09
Speaker 1: I hope this was helpful for you.
• 12:12
Speaker 1: If you are one of those mediums, those people who asked about your connection to spirit is just look for the signs they're all sending them.
• 12:21
Speaker 1: I promise your connection is great.
• 12:23
Speaker 1: You are not blocked.
• 12:24
Speaker 1: You cannot be blocked.
• 12:26
Speaker 1: You can only just be with your head in the sand because of things that are going on, and that's normal, because we are here to experience the human life, and the human life is a roller coaster and it has ups and downs, and some days the connection is going to be amazing and some days the connection is going to be shit, but you're never stuck in one state or the other.
• 12:46
Speaker 1: You're always kind of oscillating between the two.
• 12:48
Speaker 1: And then we add astrology on top of that and I just don't understand any of it.
• 12:52
Speaker 1: So prayers to all of you.
• 12:55
Speaker 1: I hear it's Mercury retrograde for a while.
• 12:57
Speaker 1: I don't know what that means.
• 12:58
Speaker 1: Right, go kick some ass all you amazing mediums out there, and I hope you all have a fucking awesome day.
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: Take care.
