- 3:04email is big to me your time is personally big to me. I am
- 3:07I'm really excited about the new year. I'm excited and nervous about the new
- 3:12year. I don't know. I don't know what it is, but I
- 3:15know something Major said. We always say something Major is happening because I think
- 3:22sometimes we can attach Major to a new thing, but new thing requires an
- 3:25elevator, another form of responsibility, like another attachment to your responsibility. And
- 3:32I'm like, Lord, when he talked about what he's doing a new thing,
- 3:38I get excited, but I think I'm like God, this new thing.
- 3:44You you be trying to make folks responsible. Yeah, I think I
- 3:47think the I think, hey there, happy new year, y'all I can
- 3:59say for me, just I think think the the whold guy is because you're
- 4:01looking at your your abilities. Yeah, right, so he I don't think
- 4:05if I know the God that I know, I don't think he would bring
- 4:09us something that we're not capable of. But we're looking at we're looking at
- 4:13our natural abilities, or we're looking at where we are right now. And
- 4:16I think that's why the process of a thing is important, because he may
- 4:20be bringing something to you, but there's always gonna be a process for it
- 4:24right, So you're either beginning the process, you in the middle of the
- 4:28process, you're coming out of the process for whatever this thing is, that's
- 4:30that's that's coming. And then we look at it like whatever it is,
- 4:35like it's like going into the unknown. But the only person that don't know
- 4:40is you. You're the only one that don't you know, You're the only
- 4:43one that don't know. It's like God, when you're gonna help us,
- 4:46sister figure it out. And for me, I don't know how God wighs
- 4:50with you. I don't least you speak on it, but for me,
- 4:54God to give me something and he'll say, Okay, do this, but
- 4:57I don't really understand and the impact or I might get like a hey do
- 5:05this and I'm gonna have the answers for the in between. I eat this
- 5:10podcast. I didn't know that this podcast would grow as as it has.
- 5:17I didn't know that it would be a light camera action situation. I didn't
- 5:23know that I was going to be interviewing the people that are in the lineup
- 5:28for this year. Y'all, this line up lining and all of it,
- 5:31we claim all of it. It's a like the desire, like I really
- 5:35believe that when God says He's gonna give you the desires of your heart,
- 5:41I literally think that there are certain desires that are his desires, and he
- 5:46put he formulates it your heart because you're doing relationship with him and you have
- 5:51the ability to nurture this relationship in this in this magnitude that his heart becomes
- 5:58your heart right And because because that is in place, then my desires have
- 6:02to be his desires. And so if he's given, he's given me what
- 6:06he wants for me. And so these desires of having certain people on this
- 6:13platform I haven't gotten to know yet. I'm excited about that, not because
- 6:20if I seem it as rejection, but because I'm literally hearing and having desires,
- 6:25certain desires for certain people at certain times, because everybody's time on just
- 6:31Ass is not the same. Like I might desire like, oh I think
- 6:34you would be good for the show I see this in you, Well,
- 6:38that time might not match up with when you're supposed to. I just know
- 6:43there's a desire and there's a specific time and season that you're supposed to be
- 6:47on this platform. Because what makes for me, what makes just As different,
- 6:51is that, yes, you get to visualize and be a part of
- 6:58the community. But as I said earlier, we're changing. We went from
- 7:03creating a safe space for Kingdom entrepreneurs and creatives to the word influencers, right,
- 7:12And at first I was you can a tiery this. I was tolding
- 7:17with the idea of keeping kingdom, but the Lord was like, no,
- 7:21you're you got to be a safe space for the influencer. And so what
- 7:26makes just as different in my opinion, is that we get to serve the
- 7:31influencers, allow them to tell their story and with magnitude that they want to
- 7:35deliver it, and then allow you the community, not to only learn from
- 7:41it, but to experience it. Yeah. Yeah, no, no,
- 7:46no, no, that was it was like, yeah, no, I
- 7:51was like, yeah, because I'm visualizing you know what I'm saying, the
- 7:59the transformation and why you struggled with taking the word out. Why do you
- 8:03think you struggled with taking the word out kingdom? Yep? Me personally?
- 8:09Man, okay, and can I keep it wrong? I mean we had
- 8:15now so so this kind of dates back to why I don't really I've had
- 8:24to become comfortable with using my voice because Okay, this results back to like
- 8:30childhood, right, my sister and my brother. I think y'all have heard
- 8:35this before if you've been paying attention of but for those that hadn't been a
- 8:39part of the community yet, my sister and my brother are naturally gifted.
- 8:43They're naturally smart. They were in a gifted program. They were both deemed
- 8:48intelligent. Excuse me, they were both deemed intelligent, and I was I
- 8:56didn't meet that Martin. I struggled a little bit more in school, you
- 9:01know, just thinking thinking that I wasn't smart enough, right, And so
- 9:07that kind of translates to how I feel I feel sometimes with ministry or with
- 9:18trying to deliver Christ to people, if you'll say, because as a believer,
- 9:24one of the one of the if you are part of the big Church,
- 9:28right, I think that one of our responsibilities is to share Christ,
- 9:31whether it's through action, word, deed, whatever that may may look like.
- 9:37And so taking Kingdom off of it invites everybody, which I'm not opposed
- 9:43to, but it does challenge me to make sure that I'm being mindful of
- 9:50the delivery of who God is because I don't want to This is a fear
- 9:56I didn't want. I want to alter the platform from being kingdom driven,
- 10:03right, And I think that I think that the fear of that, because
- 10:09you know, the best thing I do see quote unquote is Jesus like people
- 10:13listening to me when I talk about the Lord. Not too many people talk
- 10:18listen to me about anything else. But that's only because I hadn't presented myself
- 10:24in the realm, be quiet in the realm and room and the talents and
- 10:31grace that God has given me. Because I it doesn't make sense because it's
- 10:33so much, you know what I'm saying, Like, it's so much,
- 10:37and so taking the word kingdom off invites everybody, yep, because that can
- 10:43be considered an influencer. And I feel like, you know, I'm not
- 10:48expecting to be like talking to tones to them or whatever, but just like,
- 10:52are they going to be comfortable coming here knowing that I'm unapologetic about who
- 11:00God is to me? And am I going to be welcoming enough as far
- 11:05as their their comfort level for it to make them comfortable enough to let them
- 11:09know that this safe space. You might not agree with me my religious beliefs
- 11:15or anything like that. I don't like saying using the word but religious,
- 11:18but are you going to I don't want to offend people, and I don't
- 11:24want to take away from the safe space. I guess does that make sense?
- 11:31Yeah? Yeah, I think that just plays a part in you know,
- 11:35you know the words that you had gotten that you felt a certain type
- 11:39of way about was to sell Jesus right, And I think you took offense
- 11:45to it initially because of the probably the way you saw it or have seen
- 11:50it done right. And so taking the word Kingdom off doesn't change who you
- 11:56are. What He's given you to give it has just done just that.
- 12:00It has taking a word that would probably limit the space, which is not
- 12:03bad, but it has broadened now the platform to allow you and him to
- 12:09do what it is that He's gonna do in this earth, which is draw
- 12:13people. Right. And so you draw people by just showing up as yourself,
- 12:16like somebody like people will be comfortable with coming to this platform knowing that
- 12:22you know you're deep in God. But because of who you are, you
- 12:30make them feel you don't make you don't. It's like a he I don't
- 12:33feel judged. I don't feel like I'm being condemned. But she's just a
- 12:37real cool person and I just kind of want to you know, see what
- 12:41she's talking about. I want to see what her platform is about. It's
- 12:43bait pretty much, you know what I'm saying. That's why it's important that
- 12:46we just show up and who and and God and who He's given us to
- 12:50be, because that's what's gonna do the drawing. We don't have to do
- 12:52anything outside of just be who He's called us to be. He does the
- 12:56drawing. You know what I'm saying, They're gonna come because I think you're
- 13:00pretty cool. I thank you for that. I think I'm trying starting to
- 13:07I don''t say settling it, but starting to be okay with the idea of
- 13:15me being cool. You know, I've gone through and I think everybody has
- 13:20this experience, but I think I've based I'm gonna say this, I think
- 13:28I've based my realities and my thought process around what other thing people think about
- 13:39me, and I lean so much so on I lean so much so on
- 13:48their validation. And I think God really has me in this season. Twenty
- 13:52twenty four is really going to be the season I think I've said this before
- 13:56of trusting not only the voice of God and I hear God, but trusting
- 14:03the fact that he'll do it for me, or trusting that his presence like
- 14:18he desires me the way he does, and then I can start believing that
- 14:22people might think I'm dope, you know what I'm saying, Like when people
- 14:26are like, oh, I think you're a cool person, Like really,
- 14:28because I really think I'm weird. I really, I really think I'm weird
- 14:31and you are weird. I mean because you're set apart. Well, yeah,
- 14:37I think I think you know, I think we because and this is
- 14:39me too, like I've always been sorry, hey, hey, I've always
- 14:45been different, right and and sometimes not fit into the normal spaces. And
- 14:54I had to understand we say weird, we're peculiar people, you know what
- 14:58I saying, because we were chosen to set apart, and I think the
- 15:03sooner we can settle into that, then we can show up as our normal,
- 15:07weird self being comfortable comfortable in that. Yeah. I also think that
- 15:13a big thing that's happening for the podcast this year is there there is a
- 15:18pivot that's unexplainable. And God was dealing with me on this word and I
- 15:24kept like, I kept thinking about the word pivot, and if you look
- 15:31in the dictionary there's some different uh connotations about it, like a pivot is
- 15:39like an axle point or something like that. But then also when I think
- 15:43about it in the rim of basketball, when when you have a pivot foot
- 15:46right a foot, one foot turns so that you can get moved around,
- 15:52but one foot stays planted. And so even in this, in this pivotal
- 16:00season, I think that's the same context. Pivot is the word maybe if
- 16:07I'm gonna go with it, But in this pivot season, right where I'm
- 16:15turning to take my shot, but I still find a planet place. I
- 16:22still remind myself of my planet place, and I have to. I think,
- 16:26my where I've been planning or where I've allowed myself to be planted before,
- 16:33hasn't fully been in God. And what I meant by mean by that
- 16:37is because of my unhealthy relationship and ideals of people, I have pivoted myself
- 16:47and planting myself and people but not really knowing that's that's a solid place to
- 16:52be able to turn, because once I turn, then they're turning too,
- 16:57you know, and not necessarily a bad way, but I need something consistent,
- 17:03right, And so even in turning, even in things changing, even
- 17:07in things evolving, especially for the podcast, like that that that is a
- 17:11pivot point for the podcast, like because that's not I really don't even understand.
- 17:17I didn't even know what the podcast was going to be doing, right,
- 17:19And so when I made the intro. When I made it, I
- 17:26think I was even scared to put the entrepreneur situation on there because I didn't
- 17:32view myself as an entrepreneur and apostle how it was like, why don't you
- 17:37say, you know, creat lose and entrepreneur because I just had creative because
- 17:42I know I was creative, but I didn't think I was a businesswoman,
- 17:47you get what I'm saying. I didn't think I was a ort to consider
- 17:49myself an entrepreneur. But now you're say an influencer. And I was like,
- 17:55okay, God, you're trying to tap into my identity. You try
- 17:59to tap in to who I am, So you're calling me an influence influencer,
- 18:03you know what I'm saying, Like I don't have that many faults or
- 18:07I don't have this, I don't have that, And God has just continuously
- 18:10shown me in different ways of how that is alive. Yeap the lot like
- 18:15a lot because it doesn't matter about the numbers people. And I'm learning in
- 18:19this process, y'all. I'm learning this process and I hope it doesn't sound
- 18:25like a rent right now, but I'm learning this process that people don't always
- 18:27come in. People are not gonna always like but they see you. Oh
- 18:30yeah, like you can't unsee just as the podcast, you can't unsee that.
- 18:36You can't unsee these clips. You can't unsee the elevation. Right.
- 18:41But once, once your girl gets certain interviews or getting certain likes to subscribe,
- 18:45that's when everybody's gonna be loud. And I just got to accept that
- 18:49that that's just part of the process. Yeah, I think that comes with
- 18:56as you're growing and you're growing in God. And you talked about the pivot
- 19:00foot. That's the that's the did you play basketball? I did? Okay,
- 19:04So you know the pivot floot is, like you said, that's that
- 19:07foot that's planted right that allows you to move. So with the foot that's
- 19:15moving, you can go all the way around in the whole circle, you
- 19:17know what I'm saying. You can pick it up, you can put it
- 19:18down, you can do a little jap step here and there, you can
- 19:21go here you can go to the side, you can go this side,
- 19:23but as long as that pivot foot doesn't move, you're still good. So
- 19:26as long as you're still connected, and I think as you, as as
- 19:30as we as believers, continue to go deeper in God and stay planted in
- 19:37Him. Well, I say this, I think there's a decision that has
- 19:41to be made, right, whether we're gonna go all the way in God.
- 19:45Oh, we're gonna keep teeter tottering, that's good. Right. So
- 19:48in business in the world, there is a way to do business right.
- 19:55There's you know, formulas, there's funnels, there's you know, analytics,
- 20:00statistics that that we go by to measure if your business is doing well or
- 20:03not. That's how the world measures your success in business. The Kingdom don't
- 20:10work like that. And so it's it's it's it's kind of difficult to to
- 20:15fully to fully comprehend that if we're not fully submitted to the to the source,
- 20:23you know what I'm saying, Because we're gonna we're gonna continue to revert
- 20:27back to what the ways of how how the world measures business. Right,
- 20:32So if you put a put a podcast out there and you get three views,
- 20:41right, So measurably. We may say, man, that that podcast
- 20:45is not doing well, Yeah, because it had three views. Well what
- 20:49if it was only supposed to have three views? What if the people who
- 20:55God had assigned to that particular word watched it? So was it successful or
- 21:02not? And I think that's kind of where we have to become confident in
- 21:10that we heard that we're being obedient, and as long as we're being obedient,
- 21:15we're not responsible for the outcome. That's so good. But as long
- 21:19as we're tipping toe in like okay, and I understand it's really hard,
- 21:23especially like I think I've been a full time entrepreneur since twenty fifteen and I'm
- 21:30still learning and growing. But now I'm having to try to retrain my mindset
- 21:34to do it God's way as I've struggled to do it my own way.
- 21:38I feel like everything I've worked for I've I've worked really hard to try to
- 21:41get the knowledge of the thing, but I can honestly say I didn't ask
- 21:45God. So now I'm in a in a season where I'm trying I'm going
- 21:48to Him first for everything and allowing him to give me the strategy and allowing
- 21:52him to give me the blueprint to do. So I ain't so that I
- 21:56can make sure that I am being purposeful with the things that I that I'm
- 22:00doing now. And so with that pivot is you're gonna have to it's just
- 22:04keeping that pivot foot down and staying grounded and the source. That's so good.
- 22:11I love how we're using the basketball illustration because get first, let's talk
- 22:18about how it sucked. I would listen, I played on the team just
- 22:23because my dad would not let me be a cheerleader. And yes, Dad,
- 22:29I am talking about, Oh he would not let me be to play
- 22:33basketball. He won't because of the little skirts. Yes, So I ain't
- 22:37gonna tell you. I'm not gonna say it on the platform what he said.
- 22:38But he said and he's swell up and down. He don't remember,
- 22:42but Kendall remembers the conversation. So shout out to my sister because we having
- 22:47each other back about stuff that our parents used to do. But even in
- 22:51thinking about playing basketball in high school, if when I did start, and
- 22:56the reason why I started is because I was one of the top defenders and
- 23:10you weren't. You was gonna have to do your best to get around me,
- 23:15right, I was aggressive. I didn't mind being aggressively. I didn't
- 23:18mind, you know, blocking your shot. I don't mind keeping you from
- 23:22scoring. But I I wasn't as good for me. I wasn't as good.
- 23:34Shout up to Paris, y'all in the middle of y'all, y'all,
- 23:42hold on, I'm just gonna I'm just gonna let y'all so the fact that
- 23:45I'm recording live, say, hey, Paris, God, she got y'all
- 23:53here, I got the sexy voice sound look at her faith. This is
- 23:56a face of a warrior. Come on, supposed to be calling me on
- 24:00the podcast and everything. Mm hmm uh, it's okay, okay, I
- 24:11wanna call you back. I thought my phone was on silent, but it
- 24:14rained. It did it rained out real loud. No, if you want
- 24:19to, I mean, don't play with it, don't it. I'm just
- 24:22saying, that's just baby, what you think it's solid? Guy said,
- 24:26I'm gonna make come through loud. Baby. You ain't gonna miss not one
- 24:29notification, not one blessing in this year. So go ahead and get what
- 24:32you need. Come on now, talk to the people right now. Go
- 24:37ahead on you'll be stirred. Listen to my girl. Sorry, y'all,
- 24:47I like to have fun. It's just us. I mean, welcome to
- 24:51the safe the safe space. But I played played better at defense than I
- 24:56did offense, right, And and I was thinking about it the other day.
- 25:02Why is that because that was me to just yeah I was, I
- 25:07was a body on offense, like I could pass. Yeah, you know,
- 25:10I'm you know, make sure I got the ball to you know,
- 25:12because that's that's important that you know who you labor amongst. Yeah, what
- 25:15I'm saying. But on defense though, and you you you wouldn't you weren't
- 25:21finna get past me exactly? But I think if I because I've always had
- 25:26to defend myself, so I was good at defense. But if you think
- 25:30you make it practical, offense takes strategy, right, yep, Offense takes
- 25:40patience. Offense takes I feel like it has more rules than our boundaries than
- 25:49playing defense because my goal, my my my goal is to not allow you
- 25:56to pass me and not to get one on me by enemies by any means
- 26:00necessary. Right, But on offense, I'm expected to score, I'm expected
- 26:08to at least try. I'm expected to do these things. And so even
- 26:14thinking about pivoting, you can. Pivoting is only important in an offense offensive
- 26:21nature. It is offensive nature. So now I'm talking about just as is
- 26:27a part of the pivot. Like there's a pivotivo, a pivot that's happening
- 26:33for us. There's a change that's happened, a turning point. What you
- 26:37say, and but I can't. I can't pivot in defense mode. I
- 26:44have to pivot in offense mode because it takes strategy, strategy to score,
- 26:52to meet that goal. And the fear, if I can be honest,
- 26:55the fear is missing the shot. The fear is missing the shot. And
- 27:03the fact Greg is gonna be so proud of me when he hears this that
- 27:06I'm using a sports metaphor because this is not what I do, but this
- 27:11is how the Lord has given it to me. Right now, Like that's
- 27:12good. The power of pivot never happens in defense because it don't matter.
- 27:19Your feet can go anywhere, your feet can go anywhere, both feet can
- 27:26be off the ground. You can move and do whatever you want want in
- 27:30a defensive mold. But an offense, you're catching your breath, You're you're
- 27:36paying attention to the floor, You're you're paying attention to who you passing the
- 27:41paton to. You're paying attention to who's on your team. And mind you,
- 27:47yeah you said did I say paton? You said basketball? You're a
- 27:52say baton mixing. I doing a good job. But look just what what
- 28:04as you're talking, we talk about as you're talking, and we're talking about
- 28:12the pivot being proactive, right, that pivot foot when when when you're pivoting,
- 28:22and because you are planted and grounded, there's also comes a level of
- 28:25trust that part. Right, there's a level of trust now because like I
- 28:30said, you can move, so you got you got three options, right.
- 28:42So let's say you caught the ball, right, so you got your
- 28:48pivot foot down and you got your foot that you can move with. So
- 28:52I just caught the ball. I got three options, right. I can
- 28:55drive, I can shoot, or I can pass. Girl, you were
- 29:02you're talking. I can drive, I can shoot, I could pass.
- 29:03Right, the trust is gonna come in if I'm planted right here, I'm
- 29:07planted to the swords, which is my heaven and Father Jesus hallelujah. If
- 29:11I'm planted in him, there there should be a level of trust. So
- 29:15if I have the ball, if I trust who I'm on the floor with,
- 29:21if I trust who's on my team, if I shoot, if I
- 29:25pass, if I drive, I'm trusting my team to either rebound. I'm
- 29:33trusting my team to either if I pass the ball to the next player,
- 29:37I'm trusting that they know the next move, or if I drive, I'm
- 29:42trusting that you can Finn get out of my way. Oh right, So
- 29:48when we're when we're, when we're when you're planted, there's that just kept
- 29:52coming up. It's like there's a level of trust that you have that we
- 29:55have to have in this pivot or you're gonna revert back. You're gonna pick
- 30:00that pivot foot up and be trying to move all on on your own because
- 30:04we ain't on defense, right, And that's a file. I mean,
- 30:07that's not a file traveling. It's a traveling violation, traveling violation. And
- 30:12so even thinking about okay, even when I'm not I don't have the only
- 30:18way I have a travel violation is if I have the ball in my hand.
- 30:23So pivot becomes important not only in a being on offense, but it's
- 30:30very important and only matters when you have the ball in your hand. And
- 30:34so now I have a fear that because the ball in my hand, wherever
- 30:41the ball is, that's what the spotlight is, That's what people are paying
- 30:44attention to. That's what the pressure is, That's what the responsibility lies.
- 30:48Because what you do will enhance a hurt the team, the people that are
- 30:56depending on you. So we can talk about just as right, what I
- 31:00do with the ball in my hand affects desiree. It affects you first more
- 31:06than anybody. You know what I'm saying. Hello, Yes, it impacts
- 31:11you. So what decision I make this is so good, the decision that
- 31:17I make with the ball of just as the podcast, it's going to affect
- 31:22It affect you, whatever level that might be, but it's gonna affect you.
- 31:30So either we shooting and winning together or we losing together, you know
- 31:33what I'm saying. And so for me, when you think about team players,
- 31:37you think about people on your squad. Everybody can't be on the court
- 31:41at the same time. You can be on my team, but you might
- 31:45not be playing with me in this season. You might be hurt, You
- 31:48might be going through your own thing. You might have filed out the game
- 31:52and you temporarily off the you know, off the field or off the court.
- 31:57You know what I'm saying. But you're still cheering, you know,
- 32:00you're still cheering me on. You're still on the you know bench. That's
- 32:02cool. But these people that are in the game with me are trust There's
- 32:07another level of trust right being in the game and outside of the game,
- 32:12being on the bench. And so even when you when you think about trust,
- 32:15Now, I'm not just trying to trust God, but I gotta trust
- 32:19God, because if I'm not trusting God, then people ain't really gonna be
- 32:22able to trust me. That's That's that's deep. That's deep. If I'm
- 32:28not trusting God, if I'm not trusting my coach, let's go back.
- 32:32If we're gonna keep the basketball thing, if I'm not trusting coach and the
- 32:37and the things that coach has has told me, and and I'm not necessarily
- 32:42talking about my coach, I'm talking about a basketball coach. But if I'm
- 32:45not trusting that I learned this thing in practice and then executing it when it's
- 32:53game time, then either I wasn't either I played around in practice or I
- 33:06never trusted my coach. And I'm trusting in my ability versus what's being told,
- 33:10right, And so I just I just you know, I I think
- 33:14it's interesting that I've that we bring up the fact that we have to learn
- 33:19how to be in a on the offensive stance. And I think part of
- 33:22that is not only fear of failure, fear the spotlight, but lack of
- 33:30planning. M lack of planning because when you think about the game, you
- 33:38s you make plays yep, every play. You might not have a ball,
- 33:44You play a position and you maneuver yourself to get the ball in your
- 33:47hand. But that takes a level of intentionality yup. And it takes a
- 33:53level of hm is the only word I can think of is the level of
- 34:02trust. It takes a level of intentionality. But it also takes a level
- 34:07of wisdom. Right. So the knowledge is, oh I learned to play.
- 34:15The wisdom is the execution of it. So sometimes as as we talk
- 34:22about the the preparation of the thing is is learning learning the plays. Mm
- 34:31hmmm that part. You gotta learn the plays, you can't actually to actually
- 34:36do them. Like you how we run in motion? That everybody? Everybody
- 34:44we run in motion? But you stuck on blue? How How that?
- 34:49How that works? You on you on the wrong sheet. Mm hmmm,
- 34:54why you're on the wrong play The lack of preparation. Ooh, that's that's
- 35:05good. The lack of preparation will cause you to mismanage to play. And
- 35:12and if you're thinking about like business, preparation could be your budget. Preparation
- 35:17could be put the camera on you because you're talking real good, you know,
- 35:22preparation could be your budget. You know, we're talking about the podcast,
- 35:24so I think God has gifted you with something special. But if we
- 35:30never had a conversation about what the show is gonna be about, then how
- 35:35how are we gonna execute an excellent show if we're if we're if we're not
- 35:38preparing, you know what I'm saying, And that's and that's gonna come definitely
- 35:44with the pivot. Is effective communication. You just made a powerful point because
- 35:52Okay, Greg is gonna get me. Poor preparation proceeds to formants. I
- 36:07think I said they're wrong, But basically that sounds like something Greg Griff and
- 36:10Gregg will say. Yeah, Bishop Greg will say that, and I'm probably
- 36:15not saying it right right now, but it's something that he always says,
- 36:21like poor preparation, right will lead to poor performance, and so what does
- 36:29our preparation look like? And just to make it practical, like for this
- 36:32community, how we prepare is is like, Okay, we've talked about our
- 36:37goals for the podcast, We've talked about us working together. We're actually setting
- 36:44up to go to the podcast summit, like how we enhance and learn from
- 36:49other podcasters part of the seven figure podcast community. Desert Rate is setting herself
- 36:58to teach, you know, certain things and aspects. So even though she
- 37:01can enhance and be able to talk about the details when we were friends,
- 37:07we like each other, but at some point in each conversation we're saying,
- 37:12Okay, did you get this podcast? Did you do this? It's not
- 37:15just coming behind a camera plus and record and start editing, right, It's
- 37:20literally like we live and breathe this thing. I don't know how else to
- 37:22say it, but it has become I don't even want to say a lifeline,
- 37:30but I don't know what another word is. Like that's how much passion
- 37:35we have a behind this thing. And so I think the ability to pivot
- 37:40depends on the ability to prepare. That's good, that's good. Yeah,
- 37:47the ability to pivot is determined by your ability to prepare. And so this
- 37:58year twenty twenty four, when we pivot, either you can be a part
- 38:06of the team or you can not be a part of the team. I
- 38:13mean, it's you, it's your choice. But we're pivoting with God at
- 38:17the end of the day, that's teammate. We're pivoting with God. It's
- 38:22so interesting because when I was looking up pivoting with basketball, because I could
- 38:27not I didn't really understand what I was seeing at the time. But the
- 38:31man that was explaining, he was like, the only time you have permission
- 38:37to move your pivot foot is when you're taking the shot, right. And
- 38:43so you have when you a proper shooter comes off the ground, and you
- 38:50have you've learned, you know how to position your body and take your shot.
- 38:58But every shot comes off the ground, like when you're in motion,
- 39:01like free shot. I'm not talking about free throws or whatever. I'm talking
- 39:06about actually being in the game and shooting a layup requires your feet to come
- 39:09off the ground. It's still a shot, right. And so I think
- 39:16that this is the season and it's enter as I'm saying this, this is
- 39:22the season where just ass is taking the shot shoot the shot. Shoot the
- 39:25shot. Just shoot the shot. Shoot the shot, Shoot the shot.
- 39:30Paul Jacob, John, Paul Etta, Julia Stacey, Antoinette Kimball, Paris
- 39:42Bree. I'm shouting out all my friends. Coach D, Coach j D.
- 39:51Take shot, shoot the shot, shoot the shot. Damn, that's
- 39:54good. It's good. Quick conversation. This is a new year, this
- 39:59is new season, and we are excited. We're excited about what's happening.
- 40:06We're excited about the move, we're excited about the pivot, and we're just
