- 1:18Speaker 2: it's gonna be nutty this weekend.
- 1:21Speaker 3: A lot of people out there, so many people.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Nine be nice to people.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Hey, neighbor, please on the train.
- 1:33Speaker 2: We did something pretty cool yesterday. We left the radio
- 1:36Speaker 2: station and we went over to our second office. I
- 1:39Speaker 2: call it the Mothership Ballerina, because we are a Kronky
- 1:43Speaker 2: Sports and Entertainment radio station, so we're under the Kronky umbrella.
- 1:47Speaker 2: So we work with the Abs and the Nuggets and
- 1:49Speaker 2: the Rapids and the Mammoth and the list goes on
- 1:51Speaker 2: and on and on. But we were over there for
- 1:53Speaker 2: Ks Charities building bikes for some kiddos in need. Yesterday
- 1:58Speaker 2: they had something like what was it, guys, like two
- 2:00Speaker 2: hundred bikes there, Yeah, in the bowl, and we all
- 2:04Speaker 2: showed up. Big Rob was there, Nina, Josh, Katie and me,
- 2:08Speaker 2: and we built some bikes. We had a tasty breakfast,
- 2:11Speaker 2: got a free T shirt, and we gave back to
- 2:14Speaker 2: the community.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a fun day.
- 2:16Speaker 3: All of us really chipped in.
- 2:18Speaker 2: It was a community effort here at the radio station.
- 2:21Speaker 2: We got our hands dirty, yeah, assembled some bikes, got
- 2:24Speaker 2: greasy paper cuts, we used tools, all of us except Katie,
- 2:29Speaker 2: who stood there.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Just not only just me.
- 2:32Speaker 4: I wasn't the only one who.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Did, but you forget stood there at noon. You guys
- 2:37Speaker 1: were like, okay, it's been a day. And I went
- 2:39Speaker 1: out to the school by myself, mind you, and send
- 2:44Speaker 1: out these bikes. Like we handed out these bikes to
- 2:46Speaker 1: the kids. We helped the kids with their helmets. We
- 2:49Speaker 1: had to take the bikes out of the truck and
- 2:51Speaker 1: carry them to the black top in the hot sun
- 2:55Speaker 1: until like three o'clock yesterday.
- 2:57Speaker 4: So I was actually very busy.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Is that why you didn't help?
- 3:01Speaker 1: And again assembling the bikes, there were five of us
- 3:04Speaker 1: around one bike.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Like, what am I going to do? I couldn't getund
- 3:10Speaker 4: there was too many people. I couldn't fit around the bike.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Josh's poor hands were hurting.
- 3:14Speaker 2: He was working so hard and he looked up at
- 3:16Speaker 2: one point and he had sweat coming down his face
- 3:18Speaker 2: and he looked at me and he's like with sad eyes.
- 3:21Speaker 2: In his exhausted voice, he said, chair me, I can't Katie,
- 3:25Speaker 2: just chip in and.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Help a little bit.
- 3:27Speaker 3: I did.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I did.
- 3:28Speaker 4: My hairs are so tired of bleeding again to do
- 3:32Speaker 4: stuff later like you guys, you guys did not help
- 3:35Speaker 4: with the children.
- 3:35Speaker 1: You're like, we don't care about kids, actually, so we're
- 3:38Speaker 1: not gonna go hand out the bike.
- 3:39Speaker 3: So yeah, Katie kept working.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Actually, Katie worked until three o'clock yesterday.
- 3:44Speaker 3: You had plenty of energy. Katie accidentally signed up. Accident
- 3:50Speaker 3: continue Katie.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Nobody helped Katie take pictures.
- 3:53Speaker 3: No, honestly, you're really you're milking this because you had
- 3:57Speaker 3: plenty of energy to help all those kids on because
- 4:00Speaker 3: you didn't help anybody put a bike to.
- 4:01Speaker 1: You totally, and you were able to go and take
- 4:04Speaker 1: a nap because you didn't help children either, so.
- 4:08Speaker 3: That we were like, Josh, let me see your knuckles.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Oh dude, look at you. You're shaking this morning.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Look at I think I need stitches because I cut
- 4:17Speaker 2: myself so much opening so many boxes of bikes.
- 4:21Speaker 3: You worked so hard.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Katie stood there, put her hands in her pockets, didn't
- 4:25Speaker 2: do anything.
- 4:27Speaker 3: We were tired, elept for like eleven hours. Yeah, did you?
- 4:31Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:31Speaker 3: Great nights sleep.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I had a hard time sleeping because I was in
- 4:34Speaker 2: so much pain from building all these bikes anymore.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Like, yeah, nothing with me. I was out there working
- 4:40Speaker 3: my butns off old but on our hands and knees
- 4:43Speaker 3: and hands and knees. I was on my back and
- 4:46Speaker 3: making sure that the seat was straight. I'll tell you.
- 4:49Speaker 3: When she got really fired up is when Rocky showed up.
- 4:53Speaker 4: See that, I will agree with you.
- 4:55Speaker 3: And that was even more embarrassing. Are you?
- 4:58Speaker 4: I've seen that Mountain Lion proba hundreds of times. It's
- 5:01Speaker 4: very single.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Time your first time. I've never seen anything like it.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I'm glad you went to work with the uh, the
- 5:08Speaker 2: children with the bikes because you are a child.
- 5:12Speaker 3: With all due respects.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Excite me. He apologized for me.
- 5:16Speaker 3: He showed up. I have never seen any grown adult
- 5:19Speaker 3: act like that before. I can't even reenact it.
- 5:22Speaker 5: That's fine, god, Jeremy rockies roes, No, that's pretty act.
- 5:40Speaker 3: And look I think what I looked at you one
- 5:42Speaker 3: point and I say, Katie.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Are you okay?
- 5:44Speaker 3: You're an adult?
- 5:45Speaker 4: You're like, are you?
- 5:46Speaker 3: You are a grown adult right now? What are you?
- 5:49Speaker 2: Everyone was looking at us. That one guy, there's a
- 5:52Speaker 2: couple of guys behind us, Josh. That one guy was like,
- 5:54Speaker 2: that's that lady. That didn't help with anything.
- 6:05Speaker 4: You're no shame in my Rocky game.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I love him, so it's worth every scream.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Jeremy, No, Joe, Guys.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I looked at Katie at one point and I was like, Katie,
- 6:17Speaker 2: you are a grown adult that is a that is
- 6:20Speaker 2: a person inside a costume.
- 6:22Speaker 3: He's not real, It's not real.
- 6:24Speaker 4: No excuse me. And then I was like that and
- 6:27Speaker 4: a super mascot, sir.
- 6:30Speaker 3: She tried to go back to get a selfie. She
- 6:33Speaker 3: tried to turn hend and go back, and we were like,
- 6:35Speaker 3: we're leaving now, we're done here.
- 6:37Speaker 4: They worked with God a selfie with him, and I
- 6:39Speaker 4: was so mad.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Those people deserve it because they put a lot of
- 6:42Speaker 2: bikes together. Actually, Rocky only likes people who put bikes together.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Sorry, Katie, shut up. Okay, So here is the story.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Josh immediately runs to Texas to work at this high school,
- 6:57Speaker 2: McKinley High School in Texas, going viral for a female
- 7:01Speaker 2: dress code that is requiring tight fitting undergarments. And if
- 7:07Speaker 2: that wasn't over the line enough, they are also saying
- 7:10Speaker 2: you have to have a jump.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Test at this high school, a shape test.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Here you go, uh huh, I so get this. There
- 7:22Speaker 2: is like a section in the school handbook, mostly in
- 7:26Speaker 2: regards to get this.
- 7:27Speaker 3: It's the band girls.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Where you gotta wear a tight fitting sports bra and
- 7:33Speaker 2: our shapewear or shapewear.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Now.
- 7:37Speaker 2: The section says performers must do a jump test when
- 7:40Speaker 2: testing sports bras. If you jump multiple times in a
- 7:44Speaker 2: row and there's noticeable movement, you need to size down
- 7:47Speaker 2: or find a new sports bra style or fit.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Any style works as long as it holds firmly. Geez,
- 7:56Speaker 3: I can tell by your face. Don't like it.
- 8:02Speaker 4: No, I don't like that.
- 8:03Speaker 1: There's a jump test first of all, to notice movement.
- 8:06Speaker 1: You're gonna notice my hand moving towards your face. That's
- 8:09Speaker 1: what you're gonna notice. Like, I don't like this at all.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I way to make young children feel insecure. These are
- 8:16Speaker 1: children we're talking about. Who is testing, who's teaching.
- 8:21Speaker 2: The band director quickly put out a clarifying letter saying
- 8:27Speaker 2: you should probably do the jump test in private.
- 8:31Speaker 4: This is not.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Something that would actually be evaluated by the staff.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Make sure you're doing that in private.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Never mind. In fact, on the other hand, never mind, forget.
- 8:39Speaker 4: We said. The entire thing is so crum It takes
- 8:44Speaker 4: me so much.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I really thought, like, there's so many things that were
- 8:47Speaker 1: evolving with as humans, and like when it comes to
- 8:50Speaker 1: going to school and what works and what doesn't work,
- 8:53Speaker 1: And I really thought this whole let's make people feel
- 8:56Speaker 1: bad for their clothes would have edited.
- 8:59Speaker 3: In their body, Like, I mean, what are these band
- 9:03Speaker 3: kids doing that?
- 9:04Speaker 2: They're flopping around so much like they were really going
- 9:08Speaker 2: to town on that tuba.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I guess because it's like I have the warnings like
- 9:13Speaker 1: don't like put your baby and you know, fold the
- 9:15Speaker 1: stroller while the baby's still in it. Somebody had to
- 9:17Speaker 1: do that, right, like it had to have happened before,
- 9:20Speaker 1: So like what happened then they?
- 9:21Speaker 2: I don't know, some girl was going off playing that
- 9:23Speaker 2: flute solo. Somebody got an eye knocked out or something
- 9:29Speaker 2: happened
