Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / Mega Edition: The Battle To Unseal The Epstein Court Documents In Florida (5/31/26)

- 0:00Speaker 1: Back to the Epstein chronicles. As you're all aware, we
- 0:04are at the Christmas break for the trial, so obviously
- 0:08there's nothing groundbreaking happening in the mornings or even in
- 0:12the evenings at this point. But that's okay, because we're
- 0:15still going to be here adding some context, and we're
- 0:19going to do that today by talking about the grand
- 0:22jury transcripts from Palm Beach. Now, there was a lot
- 0:28of talk a few weeks ago that this judge was
- 0:31going to release these grand jury transcripts, and that would
- 0:36have been a huge boost in the arm for transparency.
- 0:41We all know that whatever went on in that grand
- 0:44jury room in two thousand and six, it was not good,
- 0:49all right. Whatever was going on in that grand jury
- 0:52room based on that arrest was not up to par.
- 0:58And the fact that only one of those roles was
- 1:00able to give their story in front of the grand
- 1:03jury tells you everything you need to know about the
- 1:07prosecutors and about the whole entire scenario that unfolded this
- 1:17prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein. The original prosecution was legitimately one
- 1:24of the biggest travesties of justice perhaps ever. When you
- 1:30look at the grand scope of it, all, and you
- 1:32look at the disgusting nature of his crimes and the
- 1:39wake of misery he left. I mean, it's hard not
- 1:44to look at it like that. And the fact that
- 1:48Barry Krisher and the State Prosecutor's Office in Florida worked
- 1:52hand in hand with Dershowitz and Leftkowitz and the rest
- 1:56of Jeffrey Epstein's legal team to not only get him off,
- 2:00but to destroy his own witnesses, Barry Kirsher's own witnesses,
- 2:05meaning these girls, is just unbelievable to me. And you
- 2:11have this judge down there in Palm Beach, you know,
- 2:13one of the good old boys, one of the been
- 2:16around forevers, still mucking things up, still not interested in transparency.
- 2:25You would think, after all these years and all of
- 2:28the scrutiny over the Jeffrey Epstein case, that some of
- 2:31these judges would wise up by now. But like I
- 2:34always say, they think they're feudal lords and these courtrooms
- 2:38are their fiefdoms and they can do whatever they want.
- 2:42And these lifetime elected, lifetime appointed judges bad news. Folks
- 2:49talk about people who are power hungry. Every now and
- 2:51then you'll run across one of these judges like this
- 2:54guy and you just shake your head. But there's been
- 2:59a lot of them when it comes to the Jeffrey
- 3:01Epstein case. A lot of these judges, a lot of
- 3:05these people in positions of power, have failed these girls
- 3:09time and time again. And with this latest blow, this
- 3:15judge not going to release these transcripts. It's just another
- 3:19victory for the scumbags and just another hurdle in the
- 3:23way of those who are trying to bring those scumbags
- 3:27to justice. This morning, we have an article from the
- 3:31Palm Beach Post and the author is Jane Musgrave. Was
- 3:36the Jeffrey Epstein case intentionally sunk? Judge won't excuse me,
- 3:41Judge won't release secret grand jury papers, And again it
- 3:46just it's another blow to transparency, it's another blow to
- 3:51those of us who want the truth, and it just
- 3:55again throws up another curtain over what everybody perceives at
- 4:03this point is government malfeasans. You would think that they'd
- 4:08want to expose that, right, you would think that they'd
- 4:10want to put that on blast, But that's not how
- 4:13it works. They're going to cover your ass mode and
- 4:17they got to protect the other scumbags that they work
- 4:20with and it's just such a dog and pony show
- 4:23at this point, and the illusion that there's a fair
- 4:28justice system, the illusion that there isn't a two tier
- 4:32justice system is being shattered on a regular basis at
- 4:36this point. A Palm Beach County Circuit judge on Monday
- 4:42refused to release secret documents that could explain why a
- 4:45two thousand and six grand jury indicted serial child molester
- 4:49Jeffrey Epstein on a single charge of prostitution despite evidence
- 4:54that showed he abused more than a dozen girls at
- 4:56his Palm Beach mansion. Now let that sink in those
- 5:00of you who aren't really completely up to date on
- 5:03the case, you know, those of you who have, you know,
- 5:05had a life for the last three years. This might
- 5:09seem like, what the hell are you talking about here?
- 5:11How is that even possible? But this is what they've
- 5:14been dealing with, meaning the survivors from the beginning, law
- 5:19enforcement has not been on their side. Law enforcement, in fact,
- 5:23a lot of the time has worked against them. And
- 5:26you see it here again when you have this judge
- 5:31who makes the decision that these grand jury documents will
- 5:35not see the light of day, as if it's some
- 5:37sort of national security issue where nobody should ever see
- 5:41those grand jury documents. Now, I understand if there was
- 5:46a legitimate reason, a legitimate issue, keeping those documents from
- 5:50the public, But there's no legitimate reason, unless, of course,
- 5:54you're trying to cover for somebody, unless, of course, you're
- 5:57trying to protect your friends in a In a ten
- 6:04page order circuit, Judge Donald Haffl rejected arguments by attorneys
- 6:09for the Palm Beach Post who pushed him to release
- 6:12the records, citing a rarely used state law that allows
- 6:15the secrecy of grand of the grand jury to be
- 6:18pierced to further the interests of justice. And if this
- 6:22isn't a case where that hits home, I don't know
- 6:25what is. These grand jury testimony should be on the
- 6:30uh uh uh uh excuse me released. They shouldn't be
- 6:37hidden from the public for all of these years, especially
- 6:42if it moves the interests of justice, and it certainly would,
- 6:45considering the non prosecution agreement is based on all of this,
- 6:51So to get rid of that non prosecution agreement, wouldn't
- 6:55it stand to reason that having these grand jury documents
- 6:58released would go a long way to making that occur.
- 7:06While halfel noted the newspaper offered strong arguments. He said
- 7:10he was bound by the state's law. The court rules
- 7:13against the newspaper because the established and binding maxims of
- 7:17Florida law constrain it to do so, Halfley wrote. Halfly wrote,
- 7:22and again we know that that's not one hundred percent
- 7:26the case. If it promotes the interest of justice, as
- 7:29according to the state law in Florida, then the documents
- 7:32can be released, the transcripts can be released. But they
- 7:35don't have any interest in doing that. Him, the other
- 7:38judge that's involved in this, Krystal Marx, all of them
- 7:41had ties to Barry Krisher or other people involved in
- 7:44the case. That's how these things work with these bureaucrats.
- 7:48They're all friends, they're all going to the same company functions,
- 7:53and on and on and on it goes. We've discussed
- 7:56it a lot here on this podcast. You're not buying
- 7:59the lawyer or for what they're going to do in
- 8:01the courtroom. For the most part, you're paying for a
- 8:04lawyer for the connections they have outside of the courtroom,
- 8:09for the access they can get you to the prosecutor's office.
- 8:14Why do you think in a situation like Maxwell's she
- 8:18hires somebody like Christian everde ex prosecutor has a lock
- 8:22with the SDNY knows all of the prosecutors. They're all
- 8:26probably chummy. They probably go to barbecues together, you know
- 8:29what I'm talking about. While state law allows the release
- 8:36of grand jury records to further the interest of justice,
- 8:39he said, it is clear the legislature intended that exception
- 8:43to be used only in pending criminal or civil cases.
- 8:47So just because this happened a while back, and now
- 8:50Epstein's dead, let's just forget it ever happened, We'll just
- 8:53move on. And you know what it is, what it is. Sorry,
- 8:56the girls who are victimized, no justice for them, basically
- 9:00what this judge is saying. And I mean it shouldn't
- 9:04shock anybody considering, you know what we see these judges
- 9:08do on a regular basis from the bench here in America.
- 9:11But you would think that something like this, with all
- 9:15of the interests surrounding it, all of the questions that
- 9:19still need to be answered, that if you were a judge,
- 9:22you'd say to yourself, you know what, in the interests
- 9:24of justice, in the interests of moving the truth forward,
- 9:28I'm going to release these transcripts and that's what the
- 9:32law is put on the books for. But unfortunately this
- 9:35judge didn't want to interpret the interpret it that way. Instead,
- 9:40the newspaper advocates a more expensive interpretation of the term.
- 9:44He wrote, the newspaper wants the ability to publish the
- 9:47materials and reference them and its reporting, and also to
- 9:51make the materials available to the public. Yeah, that's how
- 9:54this works, judge. Okay, the public is interested in a
- 9:57case that's probably one of the most corre up the
- 10:00all time. So yeah, there is going to be a
- 10:03bit of hesitancy to trust you. There is going to
- 10:07be a bit of cynicism when it comes to court rulings,
- 10:11and the fact that you want to keep this stuff
- 10:13away from the public is just going to feed into
- 10:17conspiracy theories and outlandish thoughts. The government plays a huge
- 10:24part in all of that. They could stem and stop
- 10:28a whole bunch of the conspiracy stuff with a whole
- 10:30lot of different topics if they just stop their bullshit.
- 10:34But they don't want to ever be transparent. They want
- 10:36to keep everything private. Everything's a national security issue, isn't it,
- 10:41And that's what they'll say, Or if you're looking to
- 10:44get information about something, say like Jeffrey Epstein's first alleged
- 10:48suicide attempt. What they'll say is the information is unavailable
- 10:52because it's still part of an ongoing investigation, and that
- 10:55ongoing investigation has to do with Tartaglioni. So they'll just
- 11:00run you in circles for as long as possible, and
- 11:04if somehow you do get some Freedom of Information Act
- 11:07information from them, it'll be heavily redacted or partial. You'll
- 11:12never get the full story like the newspapers. Attorneys. Halfel
- 11:20said the transcripts could help answer troublesome questions about why
- 11:24the politically connected, multimillionaire pedophile escaped serious punishment. Some claim
- 11:30that then state Attorney Barry Krisher was improperly influenced by
- 11:33Epstein's high octane defense team. I agree with that. I
- 11:36definitely think he was. When you go back and you
- 11:39look at all of the documentation, and you look at
- 11:41the reporting, and you look at how things broke, it's
- 11:46very obvious that he wasn't working as an advocate for
- 11:50these survivors, and neither was the Prosecutor's Office of Florida
- 11:54or a hell, the federal prosecutor's office either, because remember,
- 11:58while LaCosta was the one who who was the direction man, right,
- 12:03the guy who was considered the quote unquote boss on
- 12:07the ground, he had people to answer to as well.
- 12:10He's just a mid level bureaucrat. He don't make decisions
- 12:13like this. He had to kick that up the chain
- 12:15to move Mukzi and the rest of them. So they
- 12:20all failed from the top down, from the federal government
- 12:23all the way down to the state and now all
- 12:26the way back to this judge. Absolute failures a top
- 12:30of absolute failures. It may very well be that the
- 12:36disclosure of Jeffrey Epstein's grand jury records could reveal the
- 12:39fair treatment did not occur, and that mister Epstein might
- 12:43have escaped appropriate punishment through some failing of our justice system.
- 12:47Haffel said, yeah, well, how about releasing the documents then instead,
- 12:54you'll just sit on them, right like a dragon hoarding
- 12:57its gold. Post. Hasn't decided whether to appeal, but he
- 13:03said state law can't be ignored on a whim or
- 13:05to satisfy the public's curiosity. The court's interpretation of the
- 13:09scope of the state law end of the phrase furthering
- 13:12justice is governed and constrained by the established rules of
- 13:16statutory construction, Halfley wrote. Attorneys for the posts said they
- 13:21were reviewing the order and had not yet decided whether
- 13:25to appeal. I really hope they do. I mean, I
- 13:28know it's an extra cost on them to appeal stuff
- 13:32like this, and the attorney fees get to be a
- 13:35bit excessive, but you would think that in the interest
- 13:38of justice, in the interest of transparency, that they would
- 13:44release this documentation. And really what it comes down to
- 13:49is this judge's interpretation of the law. That's all it is.
- 13:52Trying to get home. Distress said state law can't be
- 13:54ignored on a whim or to satisfy the public's curiosity.
- 14:01In a statement, a comptroller and Clerk of the Courts,
- 14:04Joe Abruzzo, said that while he hired a top media
- 14:07lawyer to represent his office in the lawsuit, he wasn't
- 14:10against the newspaper's request. While Florida's statute is clear on
- 14:14its prohibition of releasing information from grand jury cases, I
- 14:18want to be clear that I have absolutely no objection
- 14:21to releasing grand jury information in the Epstein case if
- 14:24directed by the court. A Bruso said, So what the
- 14:28comptroller is saying, look, I'll release this information, but I
- 14:31have to be directed to do so by the court.
- 14:33That's the only way that I can release this. And
- 14:37once again it goes back to the judges, these guys
- 14:40running around like their Taiwan lanister in the courtroom. He
- 14:49hired Shane Voight, a Tampa attorney who won a one
- 14:51hundred and forty million dollars verdict against Gawker on behalf
- 14:55of retired professional wrestler Hulk Cogan and has represented others
- 14:59in fights against news outlets, to represent the office. During
- 15:05a hearing on October twenty second, Void argued that if
- 15:08half of approved the newspaper's request, it would open the
- 15:12floodgates for others to do the same. Well, so what
- 15:15open the floodgates and then on a case by case
- 15:17basis decide what should or what shouldn't be released? Why
- 15:21is that so difficult? Oh? Is it going to cause
- 15:24extra work for the clerks? God forbid? I mean, are
- 15:29we supposed to just slow everything down? And you know, oh, well,
- 15:35let's wait on things here, because you know, we don't
- 15:37have enough time or enough people. I don't even understand
- 15:42what any of it means the floodgates will open. Well,
- 15:46if they're legitimate requests, then maybe the floodgates need to
- 15:49be opened. Halfele said he could craft a narrow order
- 15:55that would assure the clerk wouldn't be inundated with demands
- 15:58for grand jury records. Still, he said, after reviewing the law,
- 16:02he determined the documents must remain secret. State attorney Dave
- 16:06Ahrenberg declined to comment on Halfle's decision. While the paper
- 16:11initially named him in the lawsuit, he was dropped after
- 16:14he claimed he didn't have the records. Executives of the newspaper,
- 16:18which is owned by Gannet Gannet Company, said they were
- 16:21disappointed by Halfle's decision. Yeah, you would think so. Right.
- 16:25As a newspaper organization, the idea is to get as
- 16:29much information to the public as possible, let the public decide.
- 16:33And what better way to do that than to provide
- 16:37raw data such as transcripts. I don't need the middleman, right,
- 16:41provide us with the transcripts, provide us with the information
- 16:44that we need, and let us decide what's going on
- 16:47here as the public. But no, they'll keep everything hidden.
- 16:52And then what he'll do is he'll cite some obscure
- 16:55law here. Oh, well, it'll cause a flood of other requests,
- 16:59and all of it is nonsense. Whenever I hear any
- 17:02of this stuff, all I hear is no, we don't
- 17:04want to be transparent. No, you can't know the truth.
- 17:07That's basically what I hear every time they start in
- 17:10on the nonsense. While the Post appreciates the court's consideration
- 17:16of the issues, we respectfully disagree with the legal conclusion
- 17:20that public access to the Epstein grand jury materials is
- 17:24not warranted under the circumstances, said Marrable Perez Wadsworth, president
- 17:29of Gannett News USA Today Network and publisher of USA Today.
- 17:34It is our right and responsibility to report all aspects
- 17:37of this case, and we will continue to diligently seek
- 17:40the facts in our pursuit of transparency. Can argue with
- 17:44that and props to them for doing it. I mean,
- 17:48is it too much to ask to have some transparency
- 17:52or as the public to have the proper information in
- 17:55a case that is so important. Post Executive editor Rich
- 18:04Christy echoed those sentiments. For sixteen years, the Post has
- 18:08been driven to report on the heinous acts of Jeffrey
- 18:10Epstein for two reasons, justice for the victimized girls and
- 18:15accountability for our readers. He said, today's ruling by Circuit
- 18:19Judge Haffl, while disappointing, does not deter us from our
- 18:23mission of furthering justice for Epstein's young victims. The Post
- 18:27will always fight to shine a spotlight wherever it is
- 18:30needed to expose the actions or in actions of those
- 18:34charged with serving and protecting the public period. He concluded, Hey,
- 18:38I'll tell you what, I'm all for that, and I'll
- 18:40be right here with you, Ryde and Shotgun as far
- 18:43as trying to get these transcripts, because it's a big deal.
- 18:48It's a huge deal. And I can't express enough how
- 18:52important that non prosecution agreement is in protecting these people. Still,
- 18:57and all of this plays such a huge part that
- 19:03the ruling was a blow to efforts to unravel the
- 19:06sordid case that grabbed international attention. It also came on
- 19:10a day that a federal jury in New York began
- 19:13deliberating whether Epstein's longtime girlfriend co conspirator Glen Maxwell recruited
- 19:19in groom teen's for his pleasure. The fifty nine year
- 19:22old British socialite co conspirator, general all around scusbag bipedal
- 19:26Serpent faces a lengthy prison term if connected if convicted
- 19:30of multiple charges in connection with the sex trafficking scheme.
- 19:34During the October hearing, the newspaper's attorneys argued that the
- 19:37case was unique. More than fifteen years has passed. Epstein
- 19:41is dead, so none of the information can be used
- 19:44against him. The sixty six year old financier pedophile who
- 19:48counted former President Bill Clinton and Britain's Prince Andrew his friends,
- 19:53hung himself allegedly in a Manhattan jail cell in August
- 19:56twenty nineteen while awaiting trial on dozens of sex trafficking
- 20:00charges in New York. Again, he's dead. None of this
- 20:06information can be used against him or anything like that.
- 20:09So I don't understand how it won't be released. Now. Look,
- 20:12if he was still alive and there was a chance
- 20:15that this information could be used or all right, I
- 20:18get it. I might not agree with it, but I
- 20:20get it. I don't agree with it, and I don't
- 20:22get it in this instance. The guy's dead, he's rotting.
- 20:26It's time for transparency. A dozen girls said they were
- 20:33sexually abused. Only one testified as part of a twenty
- 20:37nineteen investigation titled The First Failure. Sources familiar with the
- 20:42grand jury proceedings told the Post that while more than
- 20:45a dozen teens told Palm Beach police that Epstein molested them,
- 20:49only one, a fourteen year old girl, was called to testify.
- 20:53And this is what I talk about a lot in
- 20:55reference how only one girl was called to give testimony,
- 20:58and how it flash's shades to what we saw here
- 21:02in the Maxwell trial with only four girls being called. Well,
- 21:06I understand the scopes a little bit different. It's just
- 21:09for those of us who have been through this already,
- 21:12it's concerning to see the sources said. Krisher's top lieutenants
- 21:20villified the team. Instead of focusing on the abuse she
- 21:23suffered at the hands of the wealthy pedophile, they quizzed
- 21:26her about her social media activity, which included references to
- 21:30boys and drinking. Her posts on her MySpace page were
- 21:33given were given to Kersher by Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz,
- 21:39one of Epstein's top flight attorneys. And that was the
- 21:42strategy then, it's the strategy now, and it'll continue to
- 21:45be the strategy until these juries wake up and start
- 21:49convicting these people. We all know that the girls were
- 21:53absolutely destroyed by not only the authorities, but by Epstein's attorneys. Oh,
- 22:00they were talking to boys, they were smoking weed, they
- 22:02drank on their MySpace page. Really, let me ask you,
- 22:07how many of you out there, as young teenagers didn't
- 22:10do any of those things? I know we all did.
- 22:12I know I did. If you're gonna base my life
- 22:15on what I did as a young man, then boy,
- 22:18I'll tell you I'd be in big trouble. Her alleged
- 22:25treatment by state prosecutors could explain why grand jurors indicted
- 22:29Epstein on the lone prostitution charge instead of multiple counts
- 22:33of child molestation that were sought by the police. The
- 22:39prostitution charge ignored the tender age of Epstein's accusers and
- 22:43the fact that teens under the age of eighteen couldn't
- 22:45legally consent to sex. We've talked about that from the
- 22:48jump too. How can you even call a girl under
- 22:51eighteen a prostitute when they can't even consent to sex?
- 22:55How is that? Even logical legal experts say prosecutors will
- 23:02tremendous influence over grand jurors who aren't skilled in the law. Cynically,
- 23:07some embrace a time honored maxim that a prosecutor, if
- 23:10he desired, could indict a ham Sandwich, And this is
- 23:13a fact as well. You know, the grand jury rooms
- 23:18are places where indictments definitely come down at a huge swell.
- 23:24The statement you get a ham Sandwich indicted at a
- 23:27grand jury certainly rings true because it's something that a
- 23:32lot of people talk about who are in the know.
- 23:37After his death, scores of young women came forward publicly
- 23:40describing how Epstein sexually assaulted them at his home in
- 23:43Palm Beach, his penthouse apartment in Manhattan, his ranch in
- 23:46New Mexico, and his private island in the Virgin Islands.
- 23:50Some said he forced them to have sex with his
- 23:52celebrity friends while aboard his private jet, the Lolita Express.
- 23:57Many teen victims were from Palm Beach County, like teens
- 24:01from Royal Palm Beach and John I. Leonard High Schools.
- 24:05Many were allured to Epstein's homes with the promise of
- 24:07being paid two hundred dollars to give him a massage.
- 24:11He greeted them wearing little more than a towel. He
- 24:14offered to pay them more to disrobe, let him fondle them,
- 24:17and to have sex. Boy, what does that all sound like?
- 24:20Sounds like a bunch of testimony we just heard, doesn't it.
- 24:24Imagine this testimony mirrors that testimony. And if they would
- 24:28have actually done their job during this first arrest and
- 24:32had more than one of the victims give their testimony
- 24:36to the Grand Jerry, a lot of this could have
- 24:38been stopped. Perhaps the girls, some from hardscrabble backgrounds, were
- 24:47promised careers in high fashion college educations or other perchs
- 24:51that were beyond their reach. The Grand Jerry marked the
- 24:54beginning of when the case spun out of control. Angry
- 24:58at Chrishier's handling, at at his agent's, angry at Krisher's
- 25:02handling of his agency's investigation, Palm Beach Police Chief Michael
- 25:06Ryder went to the FBI. Ultimately, in his secret deal,
- 25:10South Florida attorney Alex Acosta agreed to shell of a
- 25:14fifty three page federal indictment against Epstein if he would
- 25:17plead guilty to state prostitution charges. And now, remember, it's
- 25:21not just a costa here. He's the scumbag with no spine,
- 25:25no doubt about it. And he deserves his infamy for
- 25:28his role. But he wasn't the one who made the decision.
- 25:32He might have been the one who filed it up
- 25:34the chain of command, but he didn't okay it, that's
- 25:38for sure. As part of the so called non prosecution agreement,
- 25:44Krisher added a charge of solicitation of a minor for prostitution.
- 25:48Federal prosecutors insisted on the second charge because it would
- 25:52force Epstein to register as a sex offender. Howd that
- 25:55work out in New Mexico. Oh, that's right. He didn't
- 25:57have to register there because he knew he planned all
- 26:01of this. He took precautions. On June thirtieth, two thousand
- 26:09and eight, Epstein pleaded guilty in Palm Beach County Circuit
- 26:13Court to both prostitution charges. He served thirteen months of
- 26:17an eighteen month sentence in a largely vacant wing of
- 26:20the county stockade. He was given liberal work release privileges.
- 26:24He was allowed to spend up to twelve hours a day,
- 26:27six days a week working at a private foundation he
- 26:30created months earlier. The fallout from what one state prosecutor
- 26:34described as the deal of the century was far reaching.
- 26:38If delayed, and not only was Epstein out, according to
- 26:42some of these other accusers, he was abusing them while
- 26:45he was out on this work release program. Fantastic job
- 26:49done by the federal government. Huh, fantastic job done by
- 26:53the Florida state authorities. After Epstein was charged in New York,
- 26:59a cost Of designed as former President Donald Trump's labor secretary.
- 27:03When questions were raised about his involvement in crafting the
- 27:06non prosecution agreement before his resignation, a Costa sought to
- 27:10blame Krisher. He claimed he was forced to clean up
- 27:12a mess Krisher created when the state prosecutor refused to
- 27:16file serious charges against Epstein. Acosta pointed out that Krisher
- 27:20originally offered to allow Epstein to plead guilty to aggravate
- 27:24an assault, serve no jail time, and have the felony
- 27:27record a raised if he complied with the terms of
- 27:29his probation. That was unacceptable, Acosta said during a nationally
- 27:34televised news conference. So basically, it's a point him game, right,
- 27:39you did it, I did it, he did it, she
- 27:41did it. And in reality, what they do is they
- 27:44cause enough confusion then that nobody's held responsible. Krisher responded
- 27:52that Acosta was attempting to rewrite history. In a prepared statement,
- 27:57he said, I can emphatically state that mister acosta recollection
- 28:00of this matter is completely wrong. A federal investigation in
- 28:04twenty twenty found that a Costa place too much trust
- 28:07in Krisher. A two year state investigation completed last year
- 28:12concluded that Krisher had little input into the nonprofit prosecution
- 28:16agreement and found no wrongdoing. State investigators were denied access
- 28:21to the grand jury proceedings. So not only has the
- 28:25public locked out, they locked out the state investigators who
- 28:28were investigating wrongdoing. Here in the FDL report. Yeah, nothing
- 28:34to see here, folks, keep on moving. Everything is just fine.
- 28:38We're all fine. After Epstein died, authorities in the US
- 28:45Virgin Islands worked with those who were administering his estate
- 28:48to set up a fund to compensate his victims. They
- 28:51wrapped up their work in August after paying slightly more
- 28:54than one hundred and twenty one million to more than
- 28:56one hundred and thirty five people, according to the New
- 28:59York Time. Yes, look, this is a situation that, obviously,
- 29:03as you can tell here, has been going on for
- 29:05quite some time, and there was hope that this judge
- 29:09was going to release these grand jury documents. Well that's
- 29:13not going to occur. So the battle continues for transparency, folks,
- 29:17and we'll continue to report on it and we'll continue
- 29:20to talk about it until there's some movement and we
- 29:24finally get a glimpse behind the curtain. All right, folks,
- 29:30that's gonna do it for me today, and I'll be
- 29:33back later on obviously with a evening update and expect
- 29:37some more context episodes as well. If you'd like to
- 29:41contact me, you can do that at Bobby Kapouchi at
- 29:44ProtonMail dot com. That's bo bbuy c ap u c

- 29:53on Twitter at bo bbuy underscore c ap u c CI.
- 29:59The link that we discussed can be found in the
- 30:01districts dot com. What's up everyone, and welcome back to
- 30:04the Epstein Chronicles. One of the biggest battles when it
- 30:08comes to transparency in the overall case of Jeffrey Epstein
- 30:12has been down in Florida, where there has been a
- 30:16battle raging over the grand jury documents for what seems
- 30:20like forever and there's still really been no movement when
- 30:24it comes to these documents. Now, the state of Florida
- 30:28will tell you that it's very important to keep these
- 30:31documents secret. Even if Jeffrey Epstein's dead, even if the
- 30:36person that we're talking about is no longer around, we
- 30:39still have to keep these documents secret. Why what purpose
- 30:44does it serve? I mean, especially when we're talking about
- 30:48a case with such public interest and that has such
- 30:52a reverberating effect in the justice system as a whole.
- 30:56Don't you think you'd want to put this all on
- 30:59blast and bring this all to light finally, and all
- 31:02of the rumors and all of the conspiracy theories. You know,
- 31:07it's funny when they talk about conspiracy theories, by the way,
- 31:10a lot of them are created by the lack of
- 31:13transparency within these institutions. And unless we're talking about national defense,
- 31:19like legit national defense, I don't want to hear anything about, oh,
- 31:23this is secret Layer's documents can't be seen by people.
- 31:27Why what purpose is there to keep these grand jury
- 31:32documents from the public, unless, of course you're just trying
- 31:36to protect your friends and government who fumble the ball,
- 31:42the ones who should have had Jeffrey Epstein locked up
- 31:45the ones that should have protected these girls. None of
- 31:48that happened, none of it. So now, instead of just
- 31:53being transparent and putting everything on blast for people to see,
- 31:57they continue to try and hide things they cantinue to
- 32:00hide behind loopholes and technicalities and all the rest of it,
- 32:05while the battle for justice and the battle for these
- 32:10ladies getting some restitution continues to rage on. But we
- 32:15shouldn't expect anything less down in Florida. We've seen what
- 32:18kind of shit show that that place is. I mean, look,
- 32:22just take a look at the Gabby Potito case, then
- 32:25you look at Jeffrey Epstein, and then read about Florida
- 32:27Man and all the rest of it. And I have
- 32:30zero confidence in the authorities in Florida, folks, zero confidence.
- 32:37It would be real nice, though, if finally somebody, anybody
- 32:42would step up here and say, you know what, we're
- 32:45gonna push hard to get this stuff out into the
- 32:48light so the public can get a look and then
- 32:50we can do away with all of the conspiracy theories.
- 32:54But no, they don't want to do that. Do you
- 32:56know why, Because a lot of this stuff is not
- 33:00conspiracy theory. A lot of this stuff is fat. And
- 33:06that's the thing that we have seen throughout these years.
- 33:08The things that they called a conspiracy theory, Bill Gates
- 33:11hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein, the list goes on, has
- 33:14actually turned out to be factual. And I have no
- 33:18doubt if we took a look at these grand jury documents,
- 33:21we'd find out that all of the stuff we've been
- 33:24talking about, as far as how the girls from the
- 33:28first time around when Epstein was arrested got railroaded by
- 33:31not only Epstein's lawyers but by the prosecutors. And I'm
- 33:36sure we'd find all of that out with this grand
- 33:38jury documentation. It would be a nice roadmap there. And that,
- 33:43my friends, is why they don't want to release it.
- 33:46So let's check out this article from the Palm Beach
- 33:49Post and let's see what author Jane Musgrave has to say.
- 33:57Headline built to release Epstein's pomp Each County grand jury
- 34:01records debated in legislature. Voicing concern about dismantling a cornerstone
- 34:08of the state's criminal justice system, the Florida Senate on
- 34:11Friday made it clear they weren't prepared to consider legislation
- 34:16that would let the public view grand jury records that
- 34:19could reveal why Jeffrey Epstein wasn't charged with molesting teens
- 34:23more than a decade ago. Oh isn't that nice. You know,
- 34:26down there in Florida, they really got their shit together, right,
- 34:29They really have things rocking and rolling, and they know
- 34:32where their priorities are. Instead, they'll get busy with some
- 34:38more tribalism, I'm sure, and more stuff that really has
- 34:42no effect on your life. But it looks good, right,
- 34:44the political theater of it all. That's what it's all about.
- 34:47The optics. Oh well, let's throw a little red meat
- 34:50to our base. Meanwhile, real people everywhere, like you and
- 34:54me and the majority of the people on this planet, well,
- 34:58we want real news. We want impactful news. We want
- 35:02news that actually affects our lives, and this sort of
- 35:05thing most certainly does. Senator Tina Palsky, Democrat from Boca Ratan,
- 35:12who prepared the measure at the request of Palm Beach
- 35:15County Clerk of Courts Joe Abruso, said she didn't expect
- 35:19it to come to a vote. She said she offered
- 35:21the amendment to a general bill so fellow lawmakers would
- 35:25be aware of it when she brings it back next year.
- 35:28So this is a posturing move, right, They're going to
- 35:30put it in this bill right now, so they make
- 35:33the other members of the House aware of what's going on.
- 35:36That way, when she brings it to full table next
- 35:41term next time around, that everybody's prepared for what the
- 35:45bill is and what it says. That's what she's saying here.
- 35:48My question is, why does it have to be a
- 35:52drawn out, long process, like nobody knows what went on here.
- 35:55This isn't all new. You don't need to sit down
- 35:57with your team and go through things. The evidence is
- 36:01all there, the information is all there. What are you
- 36:03waiting for? I fully intended to withdraw it when I
- 36:08proposed it, She said. The measure was narrowly tailored. It
- 36:12would allow the release of secret records only if the
- 36:15subject of the Grand Jerry inquiry is deceased and the
- 36:18testimony was previously disclosed to law enforcement. Well, I don't
- 36:23see how that's a big deal. Why wouldn't they be
- 36:25okay with that. The person's deceased, the stuff has already
- 36:29been disclosed to law enforcement, So what is the big
- 36:33deal again? It just goes to show you they want
- 36:36to hide things. They like to keep things as private
- 36:38as possible. They talk about, oh, yeah, we want to
- 36:41be transparent, but people have a right to know. And
- 36:45then when we have a serious situation such as this
- 36:48that literally rocks the institutions we're supposed to trust, they
- 36:52don't want to do anything to try and bridge the gap.
- 36:55They don't want to do anything to try and make
- 36:57it seem like they even care about transparency, because at
- 37:02the end of the day, they don't, none of them do.
- 37:04What they'll do is they'll say, oh, this is an
- 37:06ongoing investigation. We can't give you any information about any
- 37:10of this. It's just so ridiculous. It's over and over
- 37:14and over again, especially in this case. The proposal was
- 37:20unlikely to affect any other case than the two thousand
- 37:23and six Grand jerry that ultimately indicted Epstein on only
- 37:27a single charge of solicitation of prostitution, but Polsky said
- 37:31lawmakers voice concern that it hadn't properly been vetted. I mean,
- 37:36come on, already, how many of these lawmakers were friendly
- 37:39with Epstein or friends with Epstein's friends. Again, I hate
- 37:43to be cynical, but what's the reasoning here. Why not
- 37:46just blow the doors off of this. You would think
- 37:49that all of these senators or state lawmakers would understand
- 37:52that the majority, the vast majority of people want to know,
- 37:58and they don't care about your upid little loopholes or
- 38:01your dumb technicalities or the reasons why you can't do this.
- 38:05You're the lawmakers. You're the ones in charge put a
- 38:08new law in the books, very simple like this, like
- 38:11she's trying to do here. But with all of the
- 38:13vetting and the nonsensical bs, all they do is give
- 38:16you the run around. Right, go ahead and try and
- 38:19call your local congressmen or congresswoman's office and see if
- 38:22you get to talk to them. You'll get some staffer.
- 38:25They'll give you the run around half the time. They're miserable,
- 38:29these bureaucrats. They've forgotten that they work for us, and
- 38:33it's about time that they're reminded. Folks. It's threading a
- 38:39very thin needle, she said. It's trying to strike a
- 38:42balance between the privacy of those who testify before a
- 38:45grand jury and the public's right to know. Here's another idea.
- 38:49Why don't you send out a waiver and see if
- 38:51the people who testified are willing to waive the privacy
- 38:55of the grand jury proceedings. And if so, then what's
- 38:58the problem. See, the thing is again, they don't really
- 39:02want this stuff to be public. They'll act like they do,
- 39:04they'll posture like they do because they know that the
- 39:08vast majority of voters out there want this shit to
- 39:11be exposed. But when it comes down to actually getting
- 39:14into the fight, getting their hands dirty, they never do it.
- 39:18They put it off. Ah, well, the legislature says, and
- 39:21nobody wants to really step up to the plate and
- 39:24do the right thing here. Prosecutors can often convince people
- 39:29to provide critical testimony to a grand jury by promising
- 39:33that their identities and their statements will remain secret, she said.
- 39:37A bruso, who signed a sixty thousand dollars contract with
- 39:40lobbying powerhouse Ballard Partners to push for the passage of
- 39:44the measure said he knew it would be an uphill battle. Well, look,
- 39:48at least a bruso here is trying to get this
- 39:50stuff released, at the very least, you know, making the
- 39:54motions because the Senate body here saying, oh, this needs
- 40:00to be vetted more is just absolutely ridiculous and if
- 40:04someone is dead and we're talking about somebody like Jeffrey Epstein.
- 40:08We're not talking about, like, you know, someone who was
- 40:10involved in litigation over a land dispute or something, somebody
- 40:15like Epstein who's already infamous. Yeah, I think that those
- 40:19records should be available to the public. The former state
- 40:24senator asked Polsky to craft the proposal after his lawyers
- 40:27successfully fought the Palm Beach Post efforts to make the
- 40:30Epstein grand jury records public. And now that was part
- 40:35of the whole battle before right Abruzzo's office was rejecting
- 40:40the Post lawsuit, battling the Post lawsuit so that this
- 40:43stuff would not become public. Now, all of a sudden,
- 40:46Abruzo has kind of switched gears here and now he
- 40:50wants to get this stuff released. And I'm guessing a
- 40:52lot of that has to do with optics, right, not
- 40:55because he's a great guy or anything, but like I
- 40:57was saying earlier, it's all about where the political wind blows.
- 41:05In rejecting the Post lawsuit, circuit Judge Donald Haffle in
- 41:09December said state law prohibited him from ordering a Bruso
- 41:13to release a transcript of the hearing the Post is
- 41:16appealing that decision. By the time a Bruso began pushing
- 41:20to change the law, he said it was too late
- 41:22to file a separate bill, so he persuaded Paulski to
- 41:26attach the proposal as an amendment to an existing bill.
- 41:29And we all know how those amendments usually end up
- 41:32right into the old trash ben of history. You got
- 41:35to have a separate bill, a bill, a standalone bill,
- 41:38no bull crap in it, no pork in it, no
- 41:40bs in it. A standalone bill about these transcripts. Not
- 41:46very difficult to do. Won't take them long to whip
- 41:48it up. I wanted to use the session to educate lawmakers,
- 41:54he said. We knew it would be an opportunity to
- 41:57have a full debate. We learned about those who those
- 42:00who have grave concerns about opening up grand jury records. Yeah,
- 42:05I'm sure you know what. Let's be very clear, Okay,
- 42:09if you're dead, I don't think there should be any
- 42:12issue whatsoever about your grand jury testimony or the grand
- 42:15jury documents revolving around what you were involved in being released.
- 42:19You're already dead. What are you going to be embarrassed
- 42:22while you're dead? Here's an idea. If you don't want
- 42:25to leave a legacy that embarrasses you or your family,
- 42:28don't be a fucking scumbag. Pretty simple. Tina Polski promises
- 42:34to reintroduce Jeffrey Epstein grand Jury Bill next year. Next year,
- 42:39he said, Polsky has agreed to craft a separate bill.
- 42:42Language would be clear that it would only impact the
- 42:46Epstein case, So that won't give these lawmakers an out then, right,
- 42:50if it's a standalone bill with very clear language, then
- 42:53they'll have to make a choice. Do you, folks, want
- 42:56to keep what happened to your private and secret forever?
- 42:59Or do you want to step up to the plate,
- 43:01do the right thing and release these documents to the public.
- 43:05It's only for Epstein. If the bill says that, then
- 43:08it doesn't affect any of the other grand jury testimony
- 43:11or documents that they're so worried about keeping private. The
- 43:16Post filed suit to release the grand jury transcripts after
- 43:19records showed only one fourteen year old girl was called
- 43:23to testify before the grand jury, even though dozens of
- 43:26teens told police that Epstein molested them at his Palm
- 43:30Beach mansion. Two sources familiar with the proceedings said that
- 43:34lieutenants for then state Attorney Barry Krisher vilified the teen
- 43:38during the hearing. They focused on her social media posts
- 43:42instead of her allegations against the politically connected financier pedophile.
- 43:47So again, this is what I always talk about. It
- 43:49wasn't just Jeffrey Epstein's lawyers going after the girl, it
- 43:55was the prosecutors as well. They talked about how her
- 44:00ipace profile talked about drinking and how hooking up with
- 44:04boys and smoking pot. I mean, really, I know when
- 44:09I was fifteen, sixteen years old, I'm glad there wasn't
- 44:13my Space, I'll tell you that much right now, because
- 44:15I was doing all of that and more. What kids
- 44:19aren't What kids aren't at fifteen sixteen years old, exploring
- 44:23partying with their friends a little bit, trying to go
- 44:26fishing for a few beers down at the corner store.
- 44:29So you're gonna hold that against them and use that
- 44:32as a reason why you don't believe them. That's absolute,
- 44:36utter garbage, trash bullshit, and it needs to be exposed.
- 44:41And Barry Krisher, his team and the rest of them,
- 44:44that we're all involved in this, they all need to
- 44:47be exposed as well, because they played a huge part
- 44:51in making sure that Jeffrey Epstein just got a little
- 44:53slap on the wrist here and wasn't really punished. I
- 44:57wonder how many people are sitting around in jail and
- 44:59floor right now for a lot less than what Jeffrey
- 45:03Epstein did and for what he got off on. Epstein,
- 45:11who in two thousand and eight pleaded guilty to two
- 45:14prostitution charges, served thirteen months of an eighteen month sentence
- 45:18in a largely vacant cell in the Palm Beach County stockade,
- 45:22where he was given liberal work release privileges. Nah, he
- 45:25didn't get any special treatment, folks. You're crazy to think
- 45:28that there's no way Jeffrey Epstein was getting special treatment
- 45:32when he was leaving his cell all day every day
- 45:34and then coming back to the stockade to be alone.
- 45:38It was all absurd. And the way that they go
- 45:41about their lives, living their lives is certainly not the
- 45:44way they expect you to live yours. The arrangement was
- 45:47part of a plea deal negotiated by Krisher and federal
- 45:51prosecutors as part of a non prosecution agreement after Epstein
- 45:55pleaded guilty to state charges. Federal prosecutors shelved a fifty
- 45:59three page federal indictment they had prepared against him in
- 46:03June to excuse me. In twenty nineteen, after being charged
- 46:07with multiple counts of child sex trafficking by prosecutors in
- 46:10New York, Epstein hung himself in a Manhattan jail cell, allegedly.
- 46:16So there's where we're at, folks, right now, with the
- 46:19battle for these transcripts. And as I've said a million
- 46:22times now, what happened in Florida is a huge part
- 46:26of uncovering what happened in the arrest of this whole
- 46:29entire ordeal. But they've had the lid on it down
- 46:33in Florida real tight for quite some time. Hopefully this
- 46:36is the beginning of that lid being blown right off.
- 46:42All right, folks, that's gonna do it for this morning's update.
- 46:45Context episodes most certainly on their way, and I will
- 46:48be back later on with a little bit more. If
- 46:51you'd like to contact me, you can do that at
- 46:53Bobby Kopuci at protonmeil dot com. That's bo bb Y
- 46:58cap Cci at ProtonMail dot com. You can also find
- 47:02me on Twitter at Bobby Underscore c ap Ucci. The
- 47:08link that we discussed can be found in the description box.
- 47:12All right, folks, I'll be back later on Hope you
- 47:14all have a great morning. Eight. The Sun Sentinel and
- 47:19their editorial board has added their voice to that of
- 47:22the Palm Beach Post and the other interested parties in
- 47:26getting the grand Jerry records released in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
- 47:31Today we're going to read that article from the Sun
- 47:34Sentinel and their editorial board, the headline release grand jury
- 47:39records of filthy rich Jeffrey Epstein, author Sun Sentinel Editorial Board,
- 47:47and this was published in the Sun Sentinel dot com.
- 47:51Jeffrey Epstein's death ten months ago denied his survivors the
- 47:54satisfaction of seeing the sex trafficker pedophile face justice. Survivors
- 48:00and the public, however, still deserve to know everything about
- 48:03the secret deal Epstein received in Palm Beach County a
- 48:07decade ago. One hundred percent. Let us see the files
- 48:11and folks, this is going to be an article kind
- 48:13of like the other one we read with the Palm
- 48:15Beach Post, probably the same sort of information, but it's
- 48:18important to add because it is another strong voice. The
- 48:22Sun sentinel demanding that this stuff be released. This week,
- 48:28Palm Beach County Chief Judge Krista Marx fitting last name
- 48:32ruled that state Attorney Dave Ehrenberg and Clerk of Court
- 48:35Sharon Bach can't release transcripts from Epstein's two thousand and
- 48:39six Grand Jerry proceeding, which produced a single state count
- 48:43of soliciting of prostitution of a minor, which is not
- 48:47even a real thing in my opinion. Federal prosecutors in
- 48:50Miami at one point had considered charges that could have
- 48:53sent Epstein to prison for life for abusing dozens of
- 48:56teenage girls at his Palm Beach mansion. Well, that happen,
- 49:00of course, because his friends from on high rode in
- 49:03on their white horses, wearing their white armor to protect
- 49:06their disgusting, disgusting, marred friend. Over and over and over
- 49:16we see this again, Jeffrey Epstein being protected by those
- 49:20in power. Jeffrey Epstein's friends being protected by those in power.
- 49:24Meanwhile the survivors are left twisting in the wind. What
- 49:29an absolute joke. But then US Attorney Alexander Acosta filed
- 49:38no charges as part of an appalling agreement with then
- 49:41Palm Beach State Attorney Barry Krisher. Epstein pleaded guilty in
- 49:45two thousand and eight to solicitation charge and drew an
- 49:48eighteen month sentence in the Palm Beach County jail and
- 49:52a further insult to the survivors, the Sheriff's office, which
- 49:56runs the jail, allowed Epstein to spend much of the
- 49:59time at his office. Meanwhile, while he was at his
- 50:02office being involved in whatever he was being involved in, well,
- 50:06there was a deputy with him, so that deputy obviously
- 50:10wasn't doing his job. If Jeffrey Epstein was still abusing girls,
- 50:13still abusing women, what exactly was this deputy doing? And
- 50:17did this deputy ever face any scrutiny for his role
- 50:20in this? How Come there is never any accountability when
- 50:24it comes to situations like this. How Come we can
- 50:27never depend on the prosecutors or even the police to
- 50:32do the right thing. If Epstein had gone to trial,
- 50:38the grand jury records would have become public. Because he
- 50:41took a deal, the records remain sealed and the questions
- 50:44remain unanswered. All part of the plan, folks, All part
- 50:48of Alan Dershowitz's plan to make sure that everything is
- 50:52as convoluted as possible, as muddy as possible. And then
- 50:56what you do is you finesse the prosecutors into your
- 51:00way of thinking. You have the prosecutors do your dirty
- 51:03work by the smearing the accusers, and then well you
- 51:09head to the back room and you make a deal
- 51:11with your good buddies. That's pretty much what happened, right.
- 51:14That is exactly what it looks like. That's from all
- 51:17the information and all the evidence that's available to us,
- 51:19That's exactly what occurred. Though Marx dismissed the part of
- 51:24the lawsuit against Arenberg and Bach, she allowed the Palm
- 51:27Beach Post to seek a court order that could allow
- 51:29the unsealing of the transcripts. Michael G. Reigel, the paper's attorney, said,
- 51:34discovery on that count will count. Now will start. The
- 51:39Post should win, Yes, they should. So let's see it
- 51:43and Judge Christa. Marx knows that the court that the
- 51:46Post has a leg to stand on here. They know
- 51:48that the Miami Herald and everybody else who is asking
- 51:51for this has a leg to stand on here. They're
- 51:53trying to make it drawn out. They're trying to go
- 51:55as long as possible to save face because we know
- 51:59the prosecutor in Florida and to Costa's office and on
- 52:03high completely and utterly abandoned these survivors and let these
- 52:08people get away with it for all of these decades. Well,
- 52:12karma is coming around, folks. Florida law allows three exceptions
- 52:18to disclosure of otherwise secret Grand Jerry proceedings. One is
- 52:22furthering justice. As Gregyel notes, if learning why Acosta and
- 52:26Krisher approved the deal proved the deal that has drawn
- 52:29condemnation worldwide doesn't meet the standard of furthering justice, it's
- 52:33difficult to imagine that any case could one hundred percent.
- 52:37This Gregel lawyer certainly gets it this. These documents would
- 52:42do more to further justice than just about anything. We
- 52:45need to get to the root cause of this. We
- 52:47need to get to the bottom of who was involved
- 52:49in cutting Epstein deals. We need to get to the
- 52:52bottom of who was providing Epstein cover for so long.
- 52:56That is the root of the problem. This other those
- 53:00are symptoms of the problem. We need to get to
- 53:02the root cause. Okay, it's like cancer. We need to
- 53:05get in there and cut it out. Politics almost certainly
- 53:11is at play. Krisher support helped Arenberg become state attorney
- 53:15in twenty twelve. Arenberg has refused to explain what role
- 53:19Krisher continues to have in the office, except to say
- 53:22that he isn't a prosecutor. Palm Beach County Sheriff Rick
- 53:25Bradshaw's office has also paid Krisher to be a consultant.
- 53:29And I think the number was like one hundred and
- 53:32thirty five boxes a zd aka one hundred and thirty
- 53:36five thousand dollars was what this guy was being paid
- 53:38as a consultant. Boy, that's good work if you can
- 53:41get it. Huh, that is good work if you can
- 53:43get it. Boys and girls. Marks added to the rancid
- 53:47politics by taking over the lawsuit. She worked for Krisher
- 53:50as a prosecutor. As the Miami Herald reported, her daughter
- 53:54is an assistant state attorney under Arenberg. Her son is
- 53:57a DIP deputy under Bradshaw, whose office for many years
- 54:01did not disclose the deal that allowed Epstein to serve
- 54:05such easy time. How is she not recused from this case?
- 54:10How can she? There has to be a way that
- 54:13there should be some sort of forced recusal. This is
- 54:16just beyond the pill. Having this judge oversee this part
- 54:19of the case. I just I don't even understand how
- 54:22we can be sitting here and talking about it. And
- 54:24that's why I'm talking about it again because it bothers
- 54:27me that much. This cannot be allowed to happen. This
- 54:32is the two tier justice system right in front of
- 54:35our eyes, happening in real time. Folks. She has ties
- 54:38to every single person who would look bad in this
- 54:40case if these files were released. That's why they're not
- 54:43being released, not because of a technicality, not because of loopholes.
- 54:47It's because, in my opinion, Judge Christa Marx wants to
- 54:51protect her friends. Only an effort from outside this cozy
- 54:56circle will provide answers. Last August, Governor Ron DeSantis asked
- 55:01Bruce Colton, state attorney for Martin, Saint Lucy, Okeechebee, and
- 55:06Indian River Counties, to supervise a criminal investigation into Krisher
- 55:10and Bradshaw's conduct. Colton was also stonewalled by the way
- 55:14the judge also told him to pounce sand Colton also
- 55:18sought the Grand Jerry records. In January, Marks ruled against him,
- 55:22calling his work a fishing expedition. So that's what you're
- 55:25calling the prosecutor, the person put in charge by the governor,
- 55:31to look into this. It's a fishing expedition. Yes, sorry,
- 55:35The only fishing expedition is the one that you're sending
- 55:38us on, Judge Marx. Federal courts have been similar have
- 55:44been unhelpful, unhelpful. Last year, US District Judge Kenneth Marraw
- 55:49ruled that Acosta had violated federal law by not telling
- 55:52the survivors about his negotiations with Epstein. But in April,
- 55:57a panel of the eleventh US Circuit Court of Appeals
- 56:00sided two to one against that ruling. Now, let's remember
- 56:03the head judge. The judge who was in charge of
- 56:06that panel graduated from Harvard. What kind of ties does
- 56:09he have to Dershowitz. But the panel set Acosta only
- 56:15could have violated the Crime Victim's Rights Act if he
- 56:17had filed charges. The dissenting judge disagreed, disagreed strongly, writing
- 56:22that nothing in the law requires the majority's result. Also,
- 56:27her name was Judge Hall who wrote that dissenting piece.
- 56:31But we also had three other people who wrote the law,
- 56:35actual lawmakers. One of them was Dianne Feinstein, And I
- 56:39forget the other two right now. But they filed amicus
- 56:42briefs on behalf of the survivors. The people who wrote
- 56:45the law are telling the judges you're not applying the
- 56:48law correctly. How corrupt must these judges be if politicians
- 56:53are telling them that they're corrupt folks, That victory hardly
- 57:00mounted to vindication of Acosta. It's not a result we
- 57:03like Apple, Appellate judge Kevin Newsom wrote, but it's the
- 57:06result we think the law requires. Acosta and Krisher's deal,
- 57:11he added, remains beyond scandalous and detail of national disgrace.
- 57:16Last month, a lawyer for the survivors asked for a
- 57:18hearing before the full court. And again, it's not about
- 57:22justice for people like Newsom, the Harvard trained lawyer. It's
- 57:25what the law requires, buddy. The people who wrote the
- 57:29law have filed an amarchist brief on behalf of the survivors.
- 57:34Are you kidding me? Right now? What more do you need?
- 57:40Epstein's case drew little notice outside of pom Beach County
- 57:44when it was happening. In late twenty eighteen, however, the
- 57:47Miami Herald published a series on Epstein called Perversion of Justice.
- 57:57His survivors, now adults, went on camera to describe how
- 58:00Epstein's enablers recruited them and how he and his powerful
- 58:04friends molested them. This case drew such little public interest
- 58:10the first time around because Epstein was being protected by
- 58:13his scuzbag friends in the legacy media. We've proved that
- 58:18over and over again, and now for some of these
- 58:22legacy media types to come out and act like they've
- 58:24always been allies to these survivors, it's disgusting and it's
- 58:29gross on its face. Last July, federal prosecutors in Manhattan
- 58:34arrested Epstein and charged them with sex trafficking, which provided
- 58:37a measure of satisfaction to the survivors. Epstein's suicide allegedly
- 58:42a month later, however, robbed them of the chance to
- 58:45confront their abuser and see justice served. This month, Netflix
- 58:50premiered a four part series on Epstein called Filthy Rich.
- 58:54Despite Epstein's death, the federal investigation continues into those who
- 58:58recruited girls and had second with them. Prosecutors want to
- 59:01interview Prince Andrew, who allegedly had sex with one of
- 59:04the survivors and spent considerable time with Epstein. This month,
- 59:09the prosecution team said Andrew had not been cooperative and
- 59:12essentially called him a liar. Well, we know that's the case.
- 59:15Andrew wants nothing to do with it. We know he's
- 59:17hiding in his hole behind his lawyers right now, like
- 59:19the coward he is. None of this would be necessary
- 59:22if Acosta and Krisher had done their jobs more than
- 59:25a decade ago, and Mukasey and Philippe and the rest
- 59:29of them A Costa assigned resigned last year as US
- 59:33Secretary of Labor and has not re emerged in public life.
- 59:36Krisher retired in two thousand and eight and never has
- 59:40directly addressed the Epstein agreement. That deal likely allowed Epstein
- 59:44to abuse more girls. It shook confidence in the justice system.
- 59:48It would further justice to know how and why it
- 59:52happened one hundred percent. And Folks, I know we're beaten
- 59:58a dead horse here reading an article like this, but
- 1:00:01it's important to add it to the catalog and add
- 1:00:04the Sun Sentinel's voice to the Palm Beach posts, because
- 1:00:09it's going to take a group effort of all of
- 1:00:12us together to force these people and pressure them into
- 1:00:16doing the right thing. I don't know if If you
- 1:00:22don't follow Twitter and Virginia Roberts, you probably don't know.
- 1:00:25But Virginia is not feeling well right now. She's a
- 1:00:28little under the weather and was admitted to the hospital
- 1:00:30with a bit of a sickness, and we'd like to
- 1:00:34wish her well and hope that she recovers quickly and
- 1:00:37she's back at it as soon as possible. All Right, everybody,
