Suspicious packages triggered a full lockdown at Simpsonville Municipal Complex Wednesday morning, shutting down courts, City Hall, and police/fire admin offices—until x-rays confirmed no threat by afternoon. FBI, SLED, and local bomb squad joined forces to investigate, while businesses like Crown + Bloom Coffee felt the ripple effects. No injuries, but disruption was real; all facilities reopen Thursday, and court users must contact the Assistant Clerk. Authorities urge anyone with info to come forward.
