- 2:10Speaker 11: And we're back for the fourth annual Movie Meltdown Holiday Special.
- 2:15Speaker 10: Good God, has it really been that long?
- 2:17Speaker 11: Four freaking episodes of this version. I don't know. It's
- 2:22Speaker 11: kind of amazing.
- 2:24Speaker 10: We've lost some. We've gained some.
- 2:25Speaker 11: We've gained some. It's rotating, damn it. It's rotating.
- 2:29Speaker 10: Some are probably in a ditch somewhere at this point.
- 2:31Speaker 11: Could very well be, yeah.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Might really be lost. Eh, whatever.
- 2:38Speaker 11: So, it being a holiday... You know what's coming. Candy?
- 2:42Speaker 10: Ghosts?
- 2:42Speaker 5: Ghosts?
- 2:42Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 2:43Speaker 10: Oh, my God. I just ate, like, ten pieces.
- 2:45Speaker 11: That's your own fault. You know this routine. You have
- 2:48Speaker 11: to have the ghost bowl.
- 2:49Speaker 4: You need a Santa hat with a ghost.
- 2:51Speaker 11: No, we decided last year he's the ghost of Christmas past.
- 2:55Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 2:56Speaker 10: When we have hot chocolate, I have, I don't know
- 2:58Speaker 10: if they're stale or not, but I have some ghost marshmallows.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Stale marshmallows are the best anyways.
- 3:04Speaker 11: I don't know what it is about marshmallows.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Candy bars?
- 3:08Speaker 9: Wow.
- 3:09Speaker 3: And we just had to eat them.
- 3:10Speaker 2: We know that.
- 3:10Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to go run for like six hours.
- 3:14Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 3:15Speaker 10: You're gonna run to wherever you're going?
- 3:17Speaker 3: Wherever you're going.
- 3:18Speaker 10: Where are you going? Oldham?
- 3:19Speaker 4: Oldham County?
- 3:19Speaker 11: You're gonna run there.
- 3:22Speaker 7: Oh, you're gonna get the sound of the pour?
- 3:24Speaker 10: Oh, look at the.
- 3:27Speaker 11: Oh, it's like.
- 3:28Speaker 3: You want the dark chocolate?
- 3:29Speaker 10: I hate dark chocolate. Oh, I do like dark chocolate.
- 3:31Speaker 4: I want all the dark chocolate.
- 3:32Speaker 11: Give me the dark chocolate.
- 3:33Speaker 10: Oh, what's this one?
- 3:34Speaker 3: That's a regular Milky Way.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Oh, I love regular Milky Way.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Why are the Snickers different colors? Are they flavored?
- 3:39Speaker 11: Eat one and find out, I guess. I'm only going
- 3:42Speaker 11: to eat one now. Here's the holiday.
- 3:43Speaker 3: We have peppermint, too, so throw some peppermint.
- 3:46Speaker 11: Peppermint patties.
- 3:47Speaker 3: I like peppermint patties.
- 3:50Speaker 10: I'm only going to eat one now, otherwise I'm totally
- 3:53Speaker 10: going to hurl, and that would not be good. Well,
- 3:55Speaker 10: I had spaghetti, so it would at least be somewhat festive,
- 3:58Speaker 10: I guess, bread.
- 4:01Speaker 11: Unless you ate something green to go with it, and
- 4:03Speaker 11: I know better than that.
- 4:05Speaker 10: With the garlic salt, it had some green.
- 4:06Speaker 11: Flakes in it. It's not like there was a salad involved.
- 4:09Speaker 11: I know better than that. That's what I say. That's
- 4:12Speaker 11: why I know better.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I'm going to steal another peppermint patty. I do like
- 4:16Speaker 3: peppermint patties.
- 4:17Speaker 11: So for weeks and weeks now, Misty has been pushing
- 4:21Speaker 11: a specific product, and I figured we'd have to save
- 4:25Speaker 11: up until the holiday special to bust this out. So, Misty.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Shake it.
- 4:28Speaker 10: Hold on.
- 4:29Speaker 11: Tell them what you're dealing with here.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I got some fucking handful of red velvet milk right here, bitches.
- 4:34Speaker 10: It's old-fashioned. The one I got wasn't old-fashioned, so I
- 4:37Speaker 10: don't know if this is going to be different.
- 4:39Speaker 14: It might be.
- 4:40Speaker 11: All right.
- 4:41Speaker 15: Hold on.
- 4:41Speaker 10: Explore it. I think I'm just going to talk right here.
- 4:44Speaker 10: Experience a new twist on an old recipe. Enjoy our
- 4:47Speaker 10: unique red velvet milk. Whether it's chilled or warm. Ew,
- 4:52Speaker 10: that's disgusting. I fucking hate warm milk. Indulge in the
- 4:57Speaker 10: taste and quality of the name brand. We're not going
- 5:00Speaker 10: to mention because they're not sponsored in any way. Alright,
- 5:05Speaker 10: who wants some of this here?
- 5:06Speaker 14: Fire it up?
- 5:07Speaker 3: Just a taste.
- 5:10Speaker 10: I just ate a whole bunch of stuff. I ain't
- 5:11Speaker 10: going to.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Have that much.
- 5:13Speaker 10: How much do you.
- 5:16Speaker 15: Want?
- 5:16Speaker 4: Keep going.
- 5:19Speaker 3: It's so thick.
- 5:19Speaker 11: That looks good.
- 5:20Speaker 3: This looks like paint.
- 5:21Speaker 10: It looks like the cake mix.
- 5:24Speaker 4: It looks like paint. Was there a chunk in there?
- 5:28Speaker 3: It's got cake in it.
- 5:31Speaker 10: I think you're good. Sometimes it just doesn't. I'm pretty
- 5:33Speaker 10: sure there's.
- 5:34Speaker 4: A chunk of something in there.
- 5:36Speaker 3: That's enough for a taste. I'm pretty convinced this is
- 5:39Speaker 3: just cake batter.
- 5:40Speaker 11: That much. It's got part of the same amount every time.
- 5:45Speaker 9: Whatever.
- 5:46Speaker 10: Have you had any of it yet? Nope.
- 5:48Speaker 4: It's slightly different than the Target brand, but not too much.
- 5:52Speaker 4: I think the Target brand's a little sweeter.
- 5:54Speaker 3: It's pretty thick. It's almost as thick as, like, an eggnog.
- 5:57Speaker 10: But not slimy like an eggnog. I hate eggnog. I
- 5:59Speaker 10: like soy nog. It's okay.
- 6:01Speaker 9: Soy nog.
- 6:03Speaker 11: Mmm. Red velvet milk.
- 6:05Speaker 10: And it's delicious. We had the waffles the other day, too.
- 6:08Speaker 10: They were very dense.
- 6:09Speaker 11: That's what I was going to say. This morning, that's
- 6:12Speaker 11: what I had for breakfast.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Red velvet cake waffles.
- 6:14Speaker 11: I had red velvet cake waffles.
- 6:15Speaker 10: They were animal shaped.
- 6:17Speaker 9: No.
- 6:19Speaker 11: Okay, I remember mine because I had them this morning.
- 6:22Speaker 11: And they came out of the Powerpuff Girl waffle maker.
- 6:25Speaker 14: Oh, nice.
- 6:25Speaker 11: It was pretty awesome. Right after I bought them.
- 6:27Speaker 10: Right after I bought the milk the first time.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Do we have syrup with it?
- 6:33Speaker 10: It came with a mix. It came with the stuff.
- 6:35Speaker 11: It came with the cream cheese topping stuff that I
- 6:37Speaker 11: didn't make.
- 6:39Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Okay, yeah. Okay.
- 6:43Speaker 10: They were good.
- 6:44Speaker 2: They were.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Damn it.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Four years of that.
- 6:48Speaker 10: Which is what I go through on a daily goddamn basis.
- 6:52Speaker 11: So yes, this morning I also had red velvet waffles.
- 6:55Speaker 10: Weren't they good? They were a little bit denser than
- 6:57Speaker 10: regular waffles.
- 6:58Speaker 11: Yeah, it was different. It's not like the milk. The
- 7:01Speaker 11: milk actually has a pretty different flavor.
- 7:03Speaker 3: They were very red.
- 7:05Speaker 10: I was worried that if I had red velvet milk
- 7:07Speaker 10: and red velvet waffles that it would have the same
- 7:09Speaker 10: effect as blueberry.
- 7:09Speaker 3: It does.
- 7:11Speaker 10: You know.
- 7:12Speaker 11: We need to leave that alone.
- 7:14Speaker 4: I made my friend a red velvet birthday cake.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Put this in the fridge.
- 7:18Speaker 4: For his birthday in April.
- 7:19Speaker 10: It was shaped like a garbage bucket.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Red velvet cake is extremely hard to make from scratch.
- 7:24Speaker 10: That's why I didn't try.
- 7:25Speaker 4: And that fucker never even cut the cake. It's just
- 7:28Speaker 4: like whole pieces. In his refrigerator. I was like, if
- 7:30Speaker 4: I would have known that you weren't ever going to
- 7:32Speaker 4: even eat the cake, I would have made it out
- 7:33Speaker 4: of box cake. It was labor intensive and hard and
- 7:38Speaker 4: expensive to make.
- 7:39Speaker 10: And he never even ate a piece of it.
- 7:41Speaker 11: Well, it does tie in because that was the cake
- 7:43Speaker 11: that you brought to Fright Night. It was red velvet cake.
- 7:47Speaker 11: That we sat in the middle of the festival eating cake.
- 7:50Speaker 3: That was from Kroger. It was still good.
- 7:52Speaker 11: It was still red velvet cake.
- 7:53Speaker 10: I love red velvet cake. It's my favorite. If I
- 7:55Speaker 10: make a cake, it's usually a red velvet cake.
- 7:56Speaker 3: I like it too.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Because if I'm going to do something, I want it
- 7:59Speaker 4: to be hard.
- 7:59Speaker 2: You didn't make your own ice cream.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to do something. I want it to
- 8:04Speaker 3: be hard.
- 8:05Speaker 11: I'm just making things as difficult as possible.
- 8:07Speaker 4: That's just how I'm used to my life being. And
- 8:08Speaker 4: if it's not, I'm, like, confused and concerned.
- 8:12Speaker 10: I always look around the box because I'm lazy. I
- 8:16Speaker 10: make the ice cream.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Thank you for the red velvet. It was very good.
- 8:20Speaker 10: It was delicious.
- 8:22Speaker 12: Mm-hmm.
- 8:23Speaker 3: It coats the mouth, doesn't it? No, it does.
- 8:25Speaker 10: It coats the glass. It coats everything. We should thank
- 8:27Speaker 10: Jesse for alerting me of the red velvet cake, for
- 8:29Speaker 10: which I had to go on an excursion and try
- 8:31Speaker 10: to find it. It was my vast disappointment when our
- 8:35Speaker 10: backwards-ass targets down here didn't get him until, like, two
- 8:38Speaker 10: weeks after Indianapolis did.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Takes a while.
- 8:42Speaker 10: I noticed. And the happy dance it is in the
- 8:44Speaker 10: middle of the party.
- 8:46Speaker 11: So, yeah, this is sort of... We decided to do, like,
- 8:49Speaker 11: a whole... conglomeration since it all falls pretty much at
- 8:52Speaker 11: the same time it's you know it's our our anniversary
- 8:55Speaker 11: we also just crossed the 150 episode mark just a
- 8:59Speaker 11: couple episodes back so that's also pretty ridiculous yeah and
- 9:05Speaker 11: um i i guess you know it's christmas i.
- 9:08Speaker 10: Love christmas even though where i work would make it
- 9:11Speaker 10: suck otherwise but i do love christmas.
- 9:14Speaker 11: And i figured just to Embrace all of the cultures.
- 9:17Speaker 11: I mean, technically, this one's coming out right about the
- 9:19Speaker 11: time of Hanukkah, so I thought we can also have
- 9:22Speaker 11: our happy Hanukkah celebration. Bring a menorah. No, we get this.
- 9:27Speaker 9: A dreidel.
- 9:28Speaker 11: Fucking A.
- 9:29Speaker 10: What the hell does that mean?
- 9:31Speaker 3: I don't know what it means.
- 9:32Speaker 11: Yahtzee. Sorry, people of the Jewish faith. I was actually
- 9:37Speaker 11: looking at it. I'm trying to broaden my horizons here.
- 9:41Speaker 11: There's nun, gimel, hay, and shin on each side. And
- 9:45Speaker 11: it's actually like a whole game. And, you know, you
- 9:48Speaker 11: have to like bet basically. And then if you're one
- 9:52Speaker 11: of them comes up, you don't get anything. One of them,
- 9:54Speaker 11: you have to pay somebody. One of them, you put
- 9:55Speaker 11: more back in. So, it yeah it's like a whole
- 9:58Speaker 11: it's a complicated game i didn't realize it was that
- 10:00Speaker 11: complicated i thought it was kind of like a top
- 10:02Speaker 11: sounds like stupid non-jewish people feed the cat feed the
- 10:05Speaker 11: cat yeah kind of feed the cat take the cat
- 10:07Speaker 11: yeah so i thought yeah i thought it was it
- 10:10Speaker 11: was kind of fun and it makes noise so it
- 10:11Speaker 11: works on an audio.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Program i saw can i spin the dreidel spin the
- 10:15Speaker 4: dreidel I saw it play at the Jewish Community Center
- 10:19Speaker 4: a couple weeks ago.
- 10:20Speaker 10: It's about as Jewish.
- 10:23Speaker 4: It's as in-depth as my Jewish knowledge is.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Hey, roll a five.
- 10:28Speaker 10: It looks like a twig to me.
- 10:32Speaker 3: It's like my elf takes damage. You can play dice
- 10:36Speaker 3: with it during the roll.
- 10:37Speaker 11: Sorry, people of the Jewish faith.
- 10:40Speaker 3: You have a 20-sided draggle.
- 10:42Speaker 11: D & D with draggles. I figured it also ties in.
- 10:51Speaker 11: Our show is centered around the entertainment industry. A good
- 10:54Speaker 11: portion of our favorite people are Jewish, so I thought
- 10:57Speaker 11: we should... No! Also, the hell you say, I know.
- 11:00Speaker 11: They're Scientologists.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Those are the only two.
- 11:04Speaker 11: I mean, there's, yeah, the celebrities that are Jewish, the
- 11:07Speaker 11: celebrities that are Scientologists, and Mel Gibson. That's pretty much
- 11:10Speaker 11: all you get, really.
- 11:11Speaker 10: Did you bring anything to celebrate Kwanzaa, or are you
- 11:13Speaker 10: assuming that we have anything?
- 11:14Speaker 11: No, and that's the other one. They don't have a
- 11:18Speaker 11: fun toy that I know of. If they do, you know,
- 11:21Speaker 11: guys pass along. All they've got is candles, which, again,
- 11:23Speaker 11: kind of seems ripped off from Judaism. But anyway, I
- 11:26Speaker 11: don't know.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Hate mail alert.
- 11:29Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 11: Well, no, that's my problem with that, and it's because
- 11:35Speaker 11: you can remember it. It's just the same thing I
- 11:38Speaker 11: said about Scientology. So, I mean, your religion or your holiday,
- 11:41Speaker 11: if anybody, if you or anybody you know can remember
- 11:45Speaker 11: when it didn't exist, you kind of, it's hard. You
- 11:49Speaker 11: have to question it, don't you?
- 11:50Speaker 10: I mean.
- 11:51Speaker 11: If somebody just randomly comes up with a holiday, you're like, wait, wait, wait,
- 11:54Speaker 11: wait a minute.
- 11:55Speaker 3: If it's made by a Berkeley professor.
- 11:57Speaker 11: Yeah, it's a professor in the 60s. I'm like, hmm,
- 12:01Speaker 11: at least, you know, these other ones have been around.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Do psychologists have holidays? Are they allowed to have holidays?
- 12:06Speaker 10: Does the aliens bring the presents?
- 12:08Speaker 11: Just send your check day.
- 12:10Speaker 3: I think that's it.
- 12:12Speaker 7: My daughter, she's in second grade. She was talking about
- 12:17Speaker 7: not being able to have a tree at school, which.
- 12:21Speaker 3: you know, no big deal.
- 12:22Speaker 7: And we explained that to her and she has a
- 12:25Speaker 7: friend that's Jewish and was talking about that. And, and well,
- 12:28Speaker 7: they could have, we, we, you know, we could have
- 12:30Speaker 7: a tree and she could have a menorah and, That's
- 12:34Speaker 7: a good idea, but what about all the people that
- 12:35Speaker 7: don't believe in anything?
- 12:36Speaker 3: And she goes, well, they can have nothing.
- 12:39Speaker 11: That's what I was just.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 12:41Speaker 11: I obviously think like a grade schooler. If they believe
- 12:44Speaker 11: in nothing, then they can have nothing. Embrace your nothing, then.
- 12:47Speaker 11: I'm putting my Festivus pole over here. Screw you guys.
- 12:50Speaker 4: I don't believe in anything.
- 12:51Speaker 10: I still have a Christmas tree. Me too. And I'm
- 12:54Speaker 10: not offended by anybody else's. I love Christmas. I'm... Not a,
- 12:58Speaker 10: you know.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Just.
- 12:58Speaker 14: What we grew up with.
- 12:59Speaker 11: Well, and that's what I took it as. It's like,
- 13:01Speaker 11: you know, I have no problem with Kwanzaa or Hanukkah
- 13:04Speaker 11: or any of it, because to me, Christmas doesn't even
- 13:07Speaker 11: have any religious overtones. To me, it's enough. It's all, yeah,
- 13:11Speaker 11: it's all, you know, Christmas trees and Santa Claus. Well,
- 13:13Speaker 11: the Christmas tree can just be a pretty Christmas tree
- 13:16Speaker 11: if you want it to be. You don't have to
- 13:17Speaker 11: go into backstory on any of it if you don't
- 13:18Speaker 11: want to. Santa Claus was invented by Coca-Cola, so fuck
- 13:22Speaker 11: anybody that has a problem with the backstory on him,
- 13:25Speaker 11: because there isn't one really. It's so manufactured at this point.
- 13:29Speaker 11: To me, you can celebrate Christmas as just a Christmas thing.
- 13:33Speaker 11: It's just the act of it, not really any religious nonsense.
- 13:36Speaker 10: I like Krampus.
- 13:37Speaker 4: I want to have Krampus Fest.
- 13:39Speaker 10: What is this?
- 13:39Speaker 4: Krampus is like this devil that is like Santa's friend.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Yeah, he's the one who punishes all the bad kids.
- 13:45Speaker 10: Yeah, it's a bad hell out there. It's like a
- 13:48Speaker 10: month or something.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Krampus month.
- 13:51Speaker 11: Krampus comes once a month.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I said. There was a book about
- 13:56Speaker 4: Krampus on Bill's coffee table on Thanksgiving, and I picked
- 13:59Speaker 4: it up, and I was like, Krampus visits me once
- 14:01Speaker 4: a month.
- 14:03Speaker 11: Well, you know, um.
- 14:06Speaker 7: Solstice celebrations were going on long before Christianity existed.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:11Speaker 7: And for me, just, winter, you know, January and February
- 14:15Speaker 7: are so bleak anyway that having lights up and some
- 14:20Speaker 7: place to go and different music and stuff to do
- 14:23Speaker 7: and so what, whatever your religion is, throw out the
- 14:27Speaker 7: religion and just enjoy yourselves and if it's an excuse
- 14:31Speaker 7: to be nice to people, good.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Well, like, most religious things holidays were pagan holidays to
- 14:36Speaker 2: begin with and religion had just kind of taken over
- 14:38Speaker 2: the pagan holidays to kind of push it out of
- 14:41Speaker 2: the light you know Christ's birthday really isn't December 25th
- 14:47Speaker 2: like most people think.
- 14:48Speaker 11: Again it's all sort of part of the show so
- 14:51Speaker 11: you can buy into the religious end if you want
- 14:53Speaker 11: to or again Santa Claus. You know, how does Santa
- 14:56Speaker 11: Claus tie into the Jesus part of it? Not at all,
- 14:59Speaker 11: but he's on ten times as much stuff as Jesus. Well,
- 15:03Speaker 11: it depends.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I mean, if you ask Kristen Stewart.
- 15:08Speaker 10: Wait, wait.
- 15:09Speaker 11: Bite your lip.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Okay, now do her.
- 15:12Speaker 10: Did you watch the Kristen Stewart Explains Christmas? Yes.
- 15:15Speaker 11: No, it's not really her. Well, you YouTube Kristen Stewart
- 15:20Speaker 11: Explains Christmas. Do your impersonation of her, Misty. Misty is
- 15:26Speaker 11: biting her lip.
- 15:27Speaker 3: You have to look up, though.
- 15:29Speaker 10: Look down.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Oh, is it down?
- 15:31Speaker 11: Discover your hair. Discover your hair.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 15:34Speaker 11: You just got that.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Wow. What was it now?
- 15:36Speaker 2: What did, uh, the, uh, the old Terry killed baby Jesus.
- 15:41Speaker 10: No, they crucified him.
- 15:42Speaker 3: They crucified him.
- 15:44Speaker 11: Baby Jesus.
- 15:44Speaker 3: And then, uh, Santa Claus brought him back from the dead.
- 15:49Speaker 10: Yeah, because, yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Pilgrims. Because they're pilgrims.
- 15:53Speaker 10: They're pilgrims, but an Indian.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Wow.
- 15:56Speaker 11: So, once again, we can all learn something from Kristen
- 16:00Speaker 11: Stewart in that it doesn't really have to mean anything.
- 16:03Speaker 11: You just have a good time with it if you
- 16:05Speaker 11: want to. So, you know, celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Festivus,
- 16:10Speaker 11: what was yours again?
- 16:12Speaker 2: Krampus.
- 16:13Speaker 10: Just quit being so pissed at everybody else that wants.
- 16:15Speaker 11: To celebrate this shit. Can't we all get along?
- 16:17Speaker 10: Jesus.
- 16:17Speaker 7: And even if it is the people that are you know, oh,
- 16:21Speaker 7: it's so commercial, or it's, you know, they're not, you know,
- 16:24Speaker 7: Christ isn't in Christmas.
- 16:25Speaker 11: Who cares?
- 16:25Speaker 3: At least somebody's, like I said, being nice to other people.
- 16:28Speaker 11: Again, I don't, yeah, I, they complain about the commercial,
- 16:32Speaker 11: and to the point, I've sort of accepted that so much,
- 16:35Speaker 11: I don't notice that either. Like, again, you only are, like,
- 16:38Speaker 11: weighed down by that if you totally buy into it.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Yeah, this guy was sitting outside, there was, like, this
- 16:44Speaker 4: really annoying thing at my work last Saturday, and this
- 16:47Speaker 4: guy said, I say Merry Christmas because it's America. I
- 16:51Speaker 4: don't remember what his reasoning was, but it's just like,
- 16:55Speaker 4: people say happy holidays, you stupid fuck, because it's like,
- 16:58Speaker 4: there's Christmas, there's New Year's, there's like tons of different
- 17:02Speaker 4: holidays that people celebrate.
- 17:04Speaker 11: Fuckwad. Yeah, I mean, they were saying happy holidays before
- 17:07Speaker 11: things became PC, and they tried to include other... Back
- 17:10Speaker 11: when we were closed-minded jackasses, they were still using that
- 17:13Speaker 11: just to sort of rope New Year's into it, too. So,
- 17:16Speaker 11: I mean, now it really does sort of mean... More
- 17:18Speaker 11: of what it probably should have meant to begin with,
- 17:20Speaker 11: which is to group everything together and be like, hey,
- 17:22Speaker 11: whatever it is you're into, go have fun with it.
- 17:25Speaker 11: It's America, yeah.
- 17:26Speaker 3: But America is the melting pot.
- 17:28Speaker 2: We've got all different religions, all different races, all different creeds.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Everybody can celebrate their own shit.
- 17:33Speaker 11: Just don't force it.
- 17:34Speaker 3: On somebody else.
- 17:35Speaker 4: It's really funny. This girl that I worked with right
- 17:37Speaker 4: before Thanksgiving, she was telling people Happy Thanksgiving.
- 17:41Speaker 10: And then she was like.
- 17:43Speaker 4: should I not tell people Happy Thanksgiving?
- 17:45Speaker 10: She's like, am I going to offend the Indians?
- 17:48Speaker 4: Native Americans? Well, she's like, am I going to offend people?
- 17:51Speaker 4: And I was like, it's not a... She's like, am
- 17:54Speaker 4: I going to offend people? Like, what if they're Jehovah's Witnesses?
- 17:56Speaker 4: I was like, it's not a religious holiday.
- 17:58Speaker 10: She goes, oh, yeah.
- 17:59Speaker 4: She's like, is there anybody that I could offend? And
- 18:01Speaker 4: I was like, Indians?
- 18:04Speaker 11: Non-thankful people?
- 18:05Speaker 3: Non-thankful people. Non-thankful people.
- 18:09Speaker 11: Canadians who celebrated it already.
- 18:12Speaker 10: Well, they're Canadian. They do stuff all wonky.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Right, let's just rip on Canadians tonight.
- 18:17Speaker 4: I like Canadians.
- 18:19Speaker 10: As much as I talk shit about Canada, my favorite
- 18:23Speaker 10: people are from Canada.
- 18:24Speaker 11: That's what I'm saying. Canadian and Jewish. Everybody we watch
- 18:27Speaker 11: in these things, our favorite people are Canadian and Jewish.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Are there any Canadian Jews? They might be my favorite
- 18:32Speaker 3: people ever.
- 18:33Speaker 6: And, uh.
- 18:37Speaker 11: Shatner and Nimoy, aren't both of them from Canada?
- 18:39Speaker 10: They're both from Canada.
- 18:41Speaker 11: No, I'm pretty sure they're both Jewish, too.
- 18:43Speaker 10: Mark Singer's from Canada.
- 18:45Speaker 11: I don't know about him.
- 18:47Speaker 10: Big Wolf on Campus. I don't love that show.
- 18:50Speaker 3: I'm noticing a trend here.
- 18:52Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 10: He loves Canada. Yeah, you do. I would think by now.
- 18:59Speaker 4: I think it's like a... I mean, I've never been there,
- 19:01Speaker 4: but it's a magical land in my mind. I'm almost
- 19:04Speaker 4: afraid to go.
- 19:05Speaker 10: I figured it because that one guy from... Oh, one
- 19:08Speaker 10: guy's from there. Full House. Dave Couillet.
- 19:11Speaker 11: Oh, yeah. Dave Couillet's bringing the whole country down.
- 19:13Speaker 3: They kicked him out.
- 19:15Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah. Good job, Canada. It's a shame you brought
- 19:18Speaker 11: him here, though. Can we deport Dave Couillet to some
- 19:22Speaker 11: other country?
- 19:22Speaker 4: I mean, he doesn't really need to be. Who's heard
- 19:25Speaker 4: anything from him?
- 19:27Speaker 11: His career deported him already is that what you're saying.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Yeah i like dave coulier i hate him he was
- 19:34Speaker 4: way more tolerable than the other guy on full house
- 19:36Speaker 4: oh who's stamos stamos was hot stamos.
- 19:39Speaker 11: Was a rock star and bob saget's come around now
- 19:43Speaker 11: now you watch him and he he's not retarded like
- 19:45Speaker 11: he was on the show he's actually like a filthy
- 19:48Speaker 11: stand-up well he was always a filthy yeah it's like
- 19:51Speaker 11: but he totally bought into that like he was like
- 19:53Speaker 11: well here's my meal ticket i'll clean it up and
- 19:55Speaker 11: put it on.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Tv at eight o'clock every week and yeah but he
- 19:58Speaker 2: was still hanging out at the playboy.
- 19:59Speaker 11: Yeah it's like he sold it so well that everybody
- 20:01Speaker 11: bought it for like I mean, ten years after the
- 20:04Speaker 11: show was off, people still thought he was like that.
- 20:06Speaker 11: And then they saw him on stage.
- 20:08Speaker 3: And he had America's Funniest Home Videos.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Everybody's like, oh, you know, we're going to get the
- 20:12Speaker 2: kids together and watch America's Funniest Home Videos.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Watch children fall on their face and we're going to laugh.
- 20:17Speaker 11: It is hilarious.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Or people fart.
- 20:22Speaker 11: Yeah, it was such a squeaky clean image that he
- 20:25Speaker 11: had that it's so funny to see him do a
- 20:27Speaker 11: stand-up now. So I've come around on him.
- 20:29Speaker 3: I'm just like, okay. No, don't apologize for eating candy.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I just don't care.
- 20:34Speaker 11: Yeah, me neither, really. But All right, are we ready
- 20:37Speaker 11: to do some Geek Week?
- 20:38Speaker 3: Yes, please.
- 20:39Speaker 11: Yeah, let's go.
- 20:40Speaker 10: Oh, that segment right there should have been longer.
- 20:41Speaker 11: I know.
- 20:42Speaker 14: Oh, jeez.
- 20:43Speaker 3: I know, do we need a break?
- 20:45Speaker 11: Sure, let's take a break.
- 20:47Speaker 16: I'll tell a tale, tale, tale, tale.
- 20:49Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 20:50Speaker 11: Of Maccabees in Israel, El, El, El, El.
- 20:53Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 11: When the Greeks tried to assail, assail, assail, assail.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:58Speaker 11: But it was all to.
- 20:59Speaker 2: No avail, avail, avail, avail.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 21:03Speaker 11: The war went on and on and on until the
- 21:07Speaker 11: mighty Greeks were gone.
- 21:11Speaker 8: Yeah. I put my lockers in the air sometimes saying,
- 21:15Speaker 8: spin the dreidel.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Just wanna celebrate for all.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Eight nights Singing hey-oh, light the candle We say I'll
- 21:28Speaker 3: have me some, oh yeah, for all.
- 21:30Speaker 11: Eight nights When we play hey-oh, by the candlelight And
- 21:35Speaker 11: I told you once, now I told you twice About
- 21:39Speaker 11: the miracle of the candlelight They took the field, field, field,
- 21:45Speaker 11: field Hi, I'm Kristen Stewart. In the latest Twilight movie,
- 21:49Speaker 11: I very convincingly play a girl who's pregnant with a
- 21:53Speaker 11: magical baby.
- 21:54Speaker 10: Can you guys guess who that is?
- 22:16Speaker 17: Who also was pregnant with magical babies.
- 22:20Speaker 10: Virgin Mary.
- 22:21Speaker 17: After playing Belle, I realized I have a lot in
- 22:24Speaker 17: common with the Virgin Mary, and so I thought for
- 22:28Speaker 17: the holidays that I would tell the first story of
- 22:32Speaker 17: the first Christmas. So one day this angel comes up
- 22:36Speaker 17: to Mary and she's.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Like, God thinks you're hot.
- 22:39Speaker 7: He wants to make a baby with you, so wear
- 22:42Speaker 7: something nice.
- 22:44Speaker 17: One thing I know about Women who are pregnant, they
- 22:47Speaker 17: rub their stomachs constantly. I know that because that's how
- 22:50Speaker 17: I played Bella. You just rub your stomach and then
- 22:53Speaker 17: you gave this.
- 22:55Speaker 10: Freaked out look.
- 22:58Speaker 17: In olden times, people had babies in hotels, but the
- 23:01Speaker 17: hotel was booked because it was Christmas Eve. And so
- 23:05Speaker 17: the hotel let them have their baby in a barn.
- 23:08Speaker 4: So three pilgrims come with gifts.
- 23:12Speaker 17: One is Frankenstein.
- 23:14Speaker 10: A merman and then.
- 23:17Speaker 17: Gold from Jared's jewelry. Jared's has the best gold and diamonds.
- 23:27Speaker 17: It was a nice gift. The pilgrims also brought Pocahontas
- 23:32Speaker 17: and she helped birth the baby because Indians are really
- 23:35Speaker 17: good at birthing outside. So baby Jesus comes out of
- 23:40Speaker 17: Mary and he sees his own shadow and That's why
- 23:44Speaker 17: we have winter. So, like, right after Jesus saw his
- 23:49Speaker 17: own shadow, the Volturi, like.
- 23:51Speaker 11: Crucified him. Oh, my God. Literally.
- 23:55Speaker 14: Whatever.
- 23:57Speaker 17: And so afterwards, to make everyone feel better, St. Nick
- 24:01Speaker 17: got everybody presents. But they were all like, for Christmas,
- 24:04Speaker 17: could you bring baby Jesus back from the dead?
- 24:07Speaker 10: And he totally did.
- 24:09Speaker 17: So Jesus is like a super magical baby.
- 24:15Speaker 10: With a beard. Merry Christmas.
- 24:27Speaker 17: Hello, this is Tom Cade, the voice of the professor
- 24:30Speaker 17: from The Powerpuff Girls.
- 24:32Speaker 6: And you're listening to Movie Meltdown.
- 24:35Speaker 10: Oh, I love it so.
- 24:36Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 24:36Speaker 10: What if I don't get my official Red Raider Carbine
- 24:40Speaker 10: Action 200 Shot Rage Model Air Rifle?
- 24:44Speaker 3: Merry Christmas, everybody. Merry Christmas. And a twisted New Year.
- 24:51Speaker 8: Yeah, we've been twisting Santa Twist Oh, yeah, twist Santa
- 24:56Speaker 8: Twist Yeah, we've been twisting Santa Twist Oh, yeah, twist
- 25:02Speaker 8: Santa Twist Now Merry Christmas To all of you Santa
- 25:07Speaker 8: Twist Come on, let's twist Merry, merry, merry Merry.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Christmas Come on, let's.
- 25:14Speaker 8: Twist Merry, merry, merry Merry Christmas Come on, everybody Merry, merry.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Merry.
- 25:27Speaker 11: If we're getting into the geek week here, and again,
- 25:30Speaker 11: I think this couple of times here, this week and next,
- 25:33Speaker 11: we'll break them up. I think I, Misty, and Jay
- 25:37Speaker 11: will go ahead and get ours out of the way
- 25:39Speaker 11: this time around. To tie in the Christmas theme, or
- 25:44Speaker 11: whatever holiday you choose, but this one was Christmas. I
- 25:47Speaker 11: watched And it just randomly came on. I was like, oh,
- 25:51Speaker 11: I am watching the hell out of that. The Fat
- 25:53Speaker 11: Albert Christmas Special.
- 25:54Speaker 10: Nice.
- 25:55Speaker 11: Which I had not seen in, I don't even know
- 25:58Speaker 11: how long, since it was probably actually playing on normal primetime,
- 26:02Speaker 11: not cable rerun like it was here. I've never seen it.
- 26:06Speaker 11: It's basically, yeah, if you haven't seen it, it's sort
- 26:08Speaker 11: of like a mashup between Scrooge and the Nativity Story.
- 26:13Speaker 11: Like there is a birth in a manger, we'll say,
- 26:18Speaker 11: or clubhouse. And, you know, a cranky old Scrooge character. And, like,
- 26:22Speaker 11: they just jam it all together in this one half-hour show.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Was it between a pair of unwed teenagers?
- 26:28Speaker 11: No, just random passers-by.
- 26:30Speaker 10: Oh, okay.
- 26:30Speaker 8: That's weird.
- 26:31Speaker 11: That end up in it. It's such a weird thing
- 26:33Speaker 11: that this show existed, really. I mean, it's... If you
- 26:37Speaker 11: tried to pitch, like, a bunch of kids hanging out
- 26:39Speaker 11: in a junkyard now, I'm just like, what network would
- 26:42Speaker 11: be like... No, no.
- 26:44Speaker 2: That's irresponsible.
- 26:46Speaker 11: Kids are going to start hanging out in junkyards. They're
- 26:48Speaker 11: going to cut themselves. They're going to get some sort
- 26:50Speaker 11: of tetanus. Then we're going to get sued.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Back to the whole racist thing. What is it in
- 26:55Speaker 4: the 70s with America's fascination with black people hanging out
- 26:58Speaker 4: in junkyards?
- 27:00Speaker 11: Because I guess the fat white people that made these
- 27:04Speaker 11: things thought that that's all they did.
- 27:06Speaker 7: It was like, well, we need to make some black shows.
- 27:10Speaker 3: What do you think? Oh, yeah, what do they do?
- 27:12Speaker 3: I don't know, hang out in junkyards?
- 27:13Speaker 10: Seriously.
- 27:15Speaker 11: I think that's the pitch right there. I know.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Sanford and Sen was awesome. I love that show.
- 27:21Speaker 11: Hey, George Jefferson moved on up.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Yeah, but he probably hung out in a junkyard before
- 27:25Speaker 4: he came down here.
- 27:26Speaker 11: When he was a kid, maybe, and he played stickball,
- 27:29Speaker 11: because I think I remember him talking about that.
- 27:30Speaker 10: Did he play that one game where you roll the hoop?
- 27:36Speaker 11: He wasn't young in the 30s i don't know he
- 27:40Speaker 11: wasn't that young so yeah i don't know i i
- 27:45Speaker 11: it was very strange watching it because it was especially
- 27:48Speaker 11: after like we were talking about the uh the depressing
- 27:51Speaker 11: background art show that lucy went and saw remember the
- 27:54Speaker 11: that that was that i kind of focused on the
- 27:56Speaker 11: background a little We can dreidel more when we're not recording.
- 28:03Speaker 11: So yeah, I was probably watching the backgrounds a little
- 28:06Speaker 11: more than I needed to, but it's entertaining. There's a
- 28:12Speaker 11: couple of those guys in their outfits. I'm still thoroughly convinced.
- 28:16Speaker 11: Most of my childhood, I was thoroughly convinced Rudy was
- 28:19Speaker 11: a girl. I'm still kind of on the fence. I
- 28:22Speaker 11: think they're presenting it differently. I think they're saying it
- 28:24Speaker 11: was a whole group of boys, but I read it
- 28:27Speaker 11: that way from a child. I was just like, and
- 28:29Speaker 11: that one girl. And she wears that goofy hat all
- 28:32Speaker 11: the time. And then what the hell is on that one?
- 28:36Speaker 2: Rudy ended up being a girl on the Cosby Show.
- 28:39Speaker 11: Well, there you go. I'm sure he carried that over somehow.
- 28:44Speaker 11: Because he knew I was thinking that. Me and Bill
- 28:47Speaker 11: were just linked.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Up like that. With the pudding.
- 28:50Speaker 9: With the pudding bops.
- 28:52Speaker 11: Why didn't they get rid of pudding pops?
- 28:56Speaker 3: What the fuck?
- 28:57Speaker 11: We'll make our own.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Why did they not make pudding pops? When did this happen?
- 29:01Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 29:01Speaker 2: They just disappeared from the shelves.
- 29:05Speaker 11: I didn't think about it. We were looking for them.
- 29:08Speaker 7: They probably couldn't freeze them without high levels of trans fat.
- 29:13Speaker 11: That's the best part.
- 29:14Speaker 3: I bet that's it.
- 29:17Speaker 11: Maybe.
- 29:17Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 29:18Speaker 2: It's probably like, well, we can't get these and sell them.
- 29:21Speaker 3: They're going to shut us down. Pudding pots.
- 29:25Speaker 4: Why don't we just take pudding and put it in
- 29:26Speaker 4: the freezer?
- 29:27Speaker 11: That's what you do. That's how you make them. You
- 29:30Speaker 11: get those little molds and, yeah. So, yeah, next Christmas.
- 29:33Speaker 3: There you go.
- 29:33Speaker 11: Why do I have to wait till christmas it's a
- 29:36Speaker 11: holiday special i have.
- 29:39Speaker 4: Like a ton of popsicle molds why am i.
- 29:41Speaker 11: Not so yeah the only thing uh i watched outside
- 29:47Speaker 11: of that that was at least movie related not really
- 29:50Speaker 11: christmassy but um i did watch the siege have you
- 29:53Speaker 11: seen the siege I remembered it from years ago, but
- 29:57Speaker 11: I never watched it. I just remembered the trailer when
- 29:59Speaker 11: it came out, and I remember the video box on
- 30:02Speaker 11: the shelf as we worked at the video store, but
- 30:05Speaker 11: I don't think I'd ever gotten around to watching it.
- 30:08Speaker 11: So watching it.
- 30:09Speaker 10: It didn't involve humans at all as a cook, did it?
- 30:11Speaker 11: No, there's no under as well.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Alright, that's what I thought it was.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I was like thinking, I was like.
- 30:18Speaker 3: I'm not even placing it right now.
- 30:19Speaker 9: I don't remember the movie.
- 30:21Speaker 11: It's Denzel Washington, Annette Bening, and Bruce Willis.
- 30:24Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 11: Yeah, you'll remember the Bruce Willis part.
- 30:27Speaker 10: Well, no, it's... I.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Know Steven Seagal, and I'm not going to watch it.
- 30:31Speaker 11: Specifically now, it's very strange watching it, because this movie
- 30:35Speaker 11: was made in 1998. Keep that in mind when you
- 30:39Speaker 11: go into the story, which is about Muslim terrorists attacking
- 30:42Speaker 11: New York. Mm-hmm. It's really weird to watch it now.
- 30:46Speaker 10: Maybe that's where they got the idea from.
- 30:48Speaker 11: It might be. Which, you know.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Kind of like watching others is weird to watch. They're like,
- 30:53Speaker 4: he just brought a gun to school. They're not going to.
- 30:55Speaker 10: Kick him out.
- 30:56Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 30:57Speaker 11: That's totally cool.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Or watching, like I said, escape from New York and
- 31:01Speaker 3: they fly a plane onto it. Onto their World Trade Center.
- 31:06Speaker 11: Well, yeah. Again, you get that shot. Like, every time
- 31:08Speaker 11: they pan across the city, there they are, looming in
- 31:11Speaker 11: the background. I'm like, oh, that's weird anyway.
- 31:13Speaker 17: But.
- 31:14Speaker 11: Even more so when you've got, like, terrorists blowing shit
- 31:17Speaker 11: up through the whole movie.
- 31:18Speaker 4: I mean, really, where was Bruce Willis when the 9-11
- 31:21Speaker 4: terror attacks were happening?
- 31:23Speaker 3: Where the fuck was he?
- 31:24Speaker 11: Yeah, that's in L.A. Nakatomi's in L.A.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Making fists with his toes, that's what he was doing.
- 31:31Speaker 11: That's how you wind down. So, here's the... I mean,
- 31:35Speaker 11: it really is kind of strange when they start, like,
- 31:38Speaker 11: listing off, like, the statistics and stuff. I mean, basically,
- 31:41Speaker 11: at one point, like, there's this... bomb that goes off
- 31:44Speaker 11: and the news reporters are all going on and on
- 31:46Speaker 11: about how this is the, the biggest like attack on
- 31:50Speaker 11: American soil ever. And like 40 people die. I'm just like, Oh,
- 31:54Speaker 11: this seems like such an innocent time. It's just like,
- 31:58Speaker 11: it's very hard watching it. Not going, you guys don't
- 32:01Speaker 11: even know what the hell you're doing. Give it a
- 32:03Speaker 11: couple of years. So yeah, that, that, that I think
- 32:06Speaker 11: was probably the most interesting thing about it. Cause then
- 32:08Speaker 11: when I watch it, I'm just like, I kind of
- 32:11Speaker 11: feel like there needs to be more going on. Like,
- 32:12Speaker 11: by the end, it's not even, because the part that
- 32:15Speaker 11: always sounded interesting to me in the pitch, you know,
- 32:18Speaker 11: watching the trailer, is like, midway in, they're like, okay,
- 32:22Speaker 11: we know stuff's going on here, so they freaking lock
- 32:25Speaker 11: down New York City. Like, they close off the bridges,
- 32:28Speaker 11: and they start, you know, it's basically, you know, they
- 32:31Speaker 11: just quarantine off an entire city and start looking for terrorists.
- 32:35Speaker 11: And I'm like, okay, that sounds like it could be
- 32:37Speaker 11: a really cool alternate way to go in history, and
- 32:41Speaker 11: This could be interesting, and they do, and it becomes
- 32:45Speaker 11: frighteningly mirrored to previous wars because we start putting people
- 32:49Speaker 11: in detention camps because of the race that they are. So, yeah,
- 32:53Speaker 11: I mean, that becomes the real focus of it. By
- 32:57Speaker 11: the end, it's actually a lot more about, like, human rights.
- 33:00Speaker 11: I mean, they start taking people out and, you know,
- 33:02Speaker 11: throwing them off in the camps and, like, separating families and,
- 33:06Speaker 11: you know, basically, once again... Now it seems really weird
- 33:11Speaker 11: to watch somebody get in trouble for torturing people to
- 33:15Speaker 11: get information out of them. I was like, this movie
- 33:17Speaker 11: was way ahead of its time. I don't know if
- 33:20Speaker 11: it's in a good way.
- 33:21Speaker 4: This is a government's rule, like, playbook.
- 33:23Speaker 11: I think so. They were just like, what do we
- 33:26Speaker 11: need to do in the next couple of years? Get
- 33:29Speaker 11: ourselves in trouble.
- 33:30Speaker 4: I don't want to suddenly disappear.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Ah, you gotta do more of that.
- 33:34Speaker 11: So, yeah, that was very interesting from that aspect. But
- 33:38Speaker 11: the rest of it, yeah, that last half just becomes,
- 33:41Speaker 11: you know, them arguing about, you know, human rights and
- 33:44Speaker 11: this isn't, you know, this isn't right. You shouldn't do that.
- 33:47Speaker 11: And it's kind of boring. It's kind of boring.
- 33:50Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 33:51Speaker 8: I mean, it is.
- 33:52Speaker 11: It's a sad thing. Like, it seems like it would
- 33:54Speaker 11: be a better setup. And then you get midway in
- 33:56Speaker 11: and it's just them running around trying to figure out
- 34:00Speaker 11: what's going on. And, yeah, it gets kind of boring.
- 34:02Speaker 11: So it's... And Annette Bening is really annoying. Not that
- 34:06Speaker 11: she isn't a lot of her career. We brought that
- 34:08Speaker 11: up before.
- 34:09Speaker 4: You know, I really like that movie where she had
- 34:11Speaker 4: that kid that gets abducted by Robert Downey Jr.
- 34:13Speaker 10: I love that movie. I have no idea what you're
- 34:16Speaker 10: talking about.
- 34:18Speaker 11: Do you know which movie?
- 34:19Speaker 4: I would say it's called End Dreams.
- 34:22Speaker 11: Okay, yeah. I kind of remember that one. And this
- 34:25Speaker 11: also had Tony Shalhoub, your favorite guy. And I don't
- 34:30Speaker 11: think I'd ever thought about what his nationality was.
- 34:32Speaker 3: I don't like that. Yeah, was he like Lebanese maybe?
- 34:35Speaker 11: Yeah, I think he was. I was just kind of like, huh.
- 34:38Speaker 11: He was always like of the monk race. I mean,
- 34:41Speaker 11: I just never thought about it.
- 34:43Speaker 3: He's a Shalhoub.
- 34:45Speaker 11: He's a total Shalhoub. So I never really thought about it.
- 34:48Speaker 11: I was just like, I'd never put one way or
- 34:50Speaker 11: the other. Like, I never even picked anything for him.
- 34:52Speaker 11: I was just like, he's Tony Shalhoub. You assign it
- 34:56Speaker 11: to him, I suppose. I mean, you see people walk by,
- 34:58Speaker 11: you kind of go, oh, uh-huh.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Brian just assigned the other.
- 35:01Speaker 10: In his brain.
- 35:02Speaker 11: There's an other checkbox?
- 35:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:05Speaker 11: They're trying to take those off the forums now.
- 35:07Speaker 10: What was he on wings?
- 35:09Speaker 3: Other.
- 35:09Speaker 4: I think so.
- 35:10Speaker 11: Cab driver. That's its own.
- 35:13Speaker 3: He was good in Galaxy Quest.
- 35:15Speaker 11: He's not bad, really. He's just... My.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Only problem with Shalhoub is that for some reason, I
- 35:21Speaker 3: would stay up late to try to watch How I
- 35:23Speaker 3: Met Your Mother... reruns and they would play Monk like
- 35:28Speaker 3: once or twice a month they would play Monk for
- 35:30Speaker 3: no reason. I would get very upset.
- 35:33Speaker 11: Just to mess with you.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Now they've got instant you can watch How I Met
- 35:37Speaker 3: Your Mother and I don't watch it. I have access
- 35:40Speaker 3: and I don't watch it.
- 35:41Speaker 11: It takes the novelty out then. It's different when it's
- 35:45Speaker 11: just on. So yeah, that's pretty much what I watched.
- 35:49Speaker 11: Miss DJ, you want to run with us?
- 35:50Speaker 10: We watched the Six seasons of Supernatural, and then we've
- 35:57Speaker 10: turned around and started again. Because I love that show.
- 36:00Speaker 11: You're holding off on seven, though.
- 36:02Speaker 10: I'm kind of upset with seven, because one of my
- 36:04Speaker 10: favorite characters dies, from what I've heard. You're cheating.
- 36:08Speaker 11: You're not supposed to know that yet.
- 36:09Speaker 10: I know, but I don't have the patience to actually
- 36:12Speaker 10: watch a show when it's on television. I have to
- 36:14Speaker 10: wait until it's done, and then I can get the
- 36:16Speaker 10: whole thing, and then watch it. Because I like to
- 36:19Speaker 10: watch it when I want to watch it.
- 36:21Speaker 11: This doesn't surprise me. This is very Misty mentality.
- 36:24Speaker 10: God damn it. I want to watch it when I
- 36:25Speaker 10: want to watch it. I don't have to wait every week.
- 36:27Speaker 10: I feel like that, too.
- 36:28Speaker 11: It sounds about right, yep.
- 36:29Speaker 10: And then I'm like, what if I miss it? Then
- 36:31Speaker 10: I'm fucked, you know? I want to have it and
- 36:33Speaker 10: be able to watch it at my own leisure.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Pause it, get some ice cream, sit back down.
- 36:38Speaker 10: Pause it when Dean takes his shirt off or whatever.
- 36:41Speaker 10: But yeah, I love this show.
- 36:42Speaker 8: Rich Dean.
- 36:43Speaker 10: Dean Dean Dean.
- 36:44Speaker 11: Of Supernatural Dean from Supernatural not Dean from Gilmore.
- 36:47Speaker 10: Girls that's way too confusing I'm just now getting to
- 36:49Speaker 10: the point where I can figure out which one it
- 36:51Speaker 10: took me six fucking seasons to be able to say
- 36:54Speaker 10: that's Sam and that's Dean and get it right.
- 36:58Speaker 11: But yeah they really should have just scribbled out that
- 37:00Speaker 11: name and put in another I know Johnny or Jimmy
- 37:02Speaker 11: or something.
- 37:03Speaker 10: I don't know I've been trying to watch the Supernatural
- 37:08Speaker 10: animated animated series the anime or whatever it's all anime
- 37:12Speaker 10: style But then it's got Jared Padalecki. I don't know
- 37:18Speaker 10: how to say his name.
- 37:18Speaker 3: It's all wrong.
- 37:19Speaker 11: I think that's pretty close. Padalecki.
- 37:21Speaker 10: Sam. Sam does his voice, but then some other guy
- 37:23Speaker 10: is doing Dean's voice. That's all.
- 37:24Speaker 11: That's just wrong.
- 37:25Speaker 3: That throws you off. You couldn't afford Dean? Yeah, because
- 37:29Speaker 3: his voiceover is so expensive. Because he's got.
- 37:31Speaker 11: So much else to do.
- 37:32Speaker 4: That's what I was going to say, because he's so busy.
- 37:34Speaker 11: Because he's worked so much since My Bloody Valentine, like
- 37:37Speaker 11: three years ago.
- 37:38Speaker 10: But it just throws me off, and the episodes are
- 37:42Speaker 10: like 20 minutes, so they have to cram an entire
- 37:44Speaker 10: episode into 20 minutes, and it's just... I mean, I'm
- 37:48Speaker 10: not big on anime to begin with. I've never been
- 37:50Speaker 10: able to get into it. I don't like it. And
- 37:52Speaker 10: I'm trying really hard, because I love Supernatural.
- 37:55Speaker 11: We're broadening our horizons.
- 37:56Speaker 10: I'm trying.
- 37:57Speaker 14: Oh, sorry.
- 37:58Speaker 10: I'm fighting it. I really am.
- 38:00Speaker 11: That also sounds like us.
- 38:03Speaker 10: Goddammit, it's like, I don't want to watch this, but
- 38:04Speaker 10: I have to. So it's like, I'm angry.
- 38:06Speaker 11: It's got Sam and Dee.
- 38:07Speaker 6: I know.
- 38:07Speaker 10: I know. It's doing me off, because for a while,
- 38:11Speaker 10: the first couple episodes were like mini-episodes, like they were
- 38:14Speaker 10: based off the TV shows, so I could watch it
- 38:16Speaker 10: and kind of compare it, and then they threw one
- 38:18Speaker 10: that wasn't on the TV, and I'm like, I don't
- 38:21Speaker 10: remember this ever fucking happening. Did I miss an episode?
- 38:25Speaker 10: So I was kind of freaking out.
- 38:27Speaker 4: No, because you've watched both seasons more than one time,
- 38:30Speaker 4: or all seasons more than one time, so I think
- 38:32Speaker 4: you'd know.
- 38:33Speaker 11: You're like, I don't want to watch this, but my
- 38:35Speaker 11: stuffed werewolf is making me.
- 38:36Speaker 10: Winchester, who's got his Christmas hat.
- 38:38Speaker 11: Yeah, do you want to tell them about the Christmas hat?
- 38:40Speaker 10: He has one of his Christmas hats. I'm going to
- 38:42Speaker 10: put a picture of it on his Facebook page.
- 38:43Speaker 16: No.
- 38:43Speaker 11: But the only people that will.
- 38:44Speaker 10: See it will be me and Jay.
- 38:45Speaker 11: You can put it.
- 38:45Speaker 10: Because me and Jay are the only ones that like it.
- 38:47Speaker 11: We will post it for the Secret Circle.
- 38:50Speaker 10: Okay.
- 38:51Speaker 11: Which we did last time.
- 38:51Speaker 10: I'll still put it on his Facebook page because nobody
- 38:53Speaker 10: else is a fan, so nobody else will see it anyways.
- 38:56Speaker 11: We put it like we did with the Kiwis, which,
- 38:59Speaker 11: by the way, I believe Randy's response once I sent him, because,
- 39:03Speaker 11: of course, he's like king of the secret circle.
- 39:05Speaker 10: And it was his kiwis.
- 39:06Speaker 11: Well, that was the thing. I was like, I sent
- 39:08Speaker 11: the picture of Winchester and kiwis, and that's what it said.
- 39:11Speaker 11: And his response was, oh, God, I ate those.
- 39:15Speaker 4: What?
- 39:16Speaker 10: When we were at Cincinnati, they had their food all
- 39:19Speaker 10: about like they always do. And I took a picture
- 39:21Speaker 10: of Winchester with Randy's kiwis.
- 39:23Speaker 11: End of story.
- 39:28Speaker 10: So we haven't really watched anything else. but tell them
- 39:31Speaker 10: what we did. I'll tell them what we did. We
- 39:34Speaker 10: went and saw Guns N' Roses, which if anybody says
- 39:36Speaker 10: anything bad about Guns N' Roses, you will get kicked
- 39:39Speaker 10: out of my house.
- 39:40Speaker 11: Well, not even that. Just in general, you guys listening,
- 39:43Speaker 11: just keep your snide comments to yourself.
- 39:46Speaker 2: I'll put it this way, okay? Because I'm not a
- 39:48Speaker 2: huge Guns N' Roses fan. I was more of a
- 39:51Speaker 2: punk fan in high school. But a lot of the
- 39:57Speaker 2: guys that I was in school with, I ran with
- 40:00Speaker 2: a lot of the metal kids because there really wasn't
- 40:02Speaker 2: much of any punk kids in my school.
- 40:07Speaker 3: One of the guys gave me a Guns N.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Roses tape to listen to, and I thought it was
- 40:11Speaker 2: pretty fucking awesome at the time.
- 40:13Speaker 10: It's the best album ever.
- 40:14Speaker 8: Yeah, it was.
- 40:15Speaker 10: It is.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely by far one of the best albums I'd
- 40:18Speaker 2: ever heard. um, you know, you could say what you
- 40:23Speaker 2: want about Axl Rose.
- 40:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Maybe he's a jackass.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Um, and maybe not always great to his fans and
- 40:29Speaker 2: stuff like that. And he did kind of get lax
- 40:33Speaker 2: and GNR just kind of fell by the wayside a
- 40:38Speaker 2: few years, you know.
- 40:40Speaker 3: More than a few years.
- 40:41Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 40:42Speaker 3: And, and he became a little bit of a joke.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Um, He came back on and had gained weight and
- 40:48Speaker 2: his voice wasn't as good and.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Stuff like that.
- 40:51Speaker 2: And so everybody was making fun of him.
- 40:54Speaker 10: And the braids.
- 40:55Speaker 3: And the braids.
- 40:56Speaker 11: Those braids were terrible, I'm sorry.
- 40:57Speaker 4: And wasn't he bald and had red hair and was fat?
- 41:01Speaker 2: Yeah, something like that.
- 41:03Speaker 3: I don't remember.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Either way, the picture that surfaced on the internet, that
- 41:09Speaker 2: was not the Axl Rose that we saw Friday night.
- 41:12Speaker 2: The Axl Rose that we saw Friday night was a
- 41:16Speaker 2: lot like the Axl Rose that I remember from early 90s,
- 41:20Speaker 2: jumping around, running around.
- 41:21Speaker 10: He wasn't in that shape exactly.
- 41:24Speaker 2: He wasn't in that shape. He was in a lot
- 41:26Speaker 2: better shape.
- 41:28Speaker 3: His voice was fucking amazing.
- 41:32Speaker 10: It was Axl Rose.
- 41:33Speaker 2: I've been to some pretty good concerts, and by far,
- 41:36Speaker 2: what I told Misty, this was the best fucking concert
- 41:39Speaker 2: I've ever been to in my life. I was completely
- 41:42Speaker 2: blown away.
- 41:43Speaker 10: Almost literally, there were fireballs.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Yeah, there was.
- 41:47Speaker 2: And I told her, she goes, do you think there'll
- 41:48Speaker 2: be fireworks? And I was like, no, probably not. They
- 41:51Speaker 2: had fucking fireworks, pyrotechnics, fucking flamethrowers that you could feel
- 41:56Speaker 2: the heat off of from where we were sitting. Because
- 41:59Speaker 2: I was like, if we're going to go see them,
- 42:00Speaker 2: we're not going to get the shit seats. We're going
- 42:02Speaker 2: to sit pretty close.
- 42:03Speaker 10: We're going to fucking see X.
- 42:05Speaker 3: Huge, huge screens.
- 42:08Speaker 10: We're underneath one of them.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Yeah, we're underneath one of them. But yeah, I mean.
- 42:13Speaker 2: God, the show was amazing. His voice was great. The
- 42:16Speaker 2: songs were awesome. It was fast-paced. He was in a
- 42:19Speaker 2: good mood, it seemed like.
- 42:21Speaker 10: No bitchy rants.
- 42:21Speaker 2: No bitchy rants or anything. He played for almost three hours.
- 42:25Speaker 2: When was the last time you were at a concert
- 42:26Speaker 2: where somebody played for three hours almost non-stop?
- 42:30Speaker 3: I mean, this guy.
- 42:30Speaker 2: He kept up energy. He kept up energy. All the
- 42:33Speaker 2: guys in the band kept up energy. And it was like,
- 42:38Speaker 2: from the moment they went on stage... with the exception
- 42:41Speaker 2: of a couple slow songs that he played.
- 42:44Speaker 3: It was fast-paced.
- 42:45Speaker 10: The only slow songs he did were the ones people
- 42:46Speaker 10: expected to hear, like November Rain, Don't Cry.
- 42:49Speaker 11: You better do some motherfucking... That's the thing.
- 42:51Speaker 2: He didn't come out and just play Chinese Democracy and say,
- 42:54Speaker 2: fuck you guys.
- 42:55Speaker 11: Most people would, yeah.
- 42:56Speaker 2: He came out, he played.
- 42:57Speaker 10: Chinese Democracy was the first thing he played. Then he
- 42:59Speaker 10: rolled right into Welcome to the Jungle and several other
- 43:01Speaker 10: Appetite songs. Yeah.
- 43:02Speaker 3: But he played a good amount of Appetite.
- 43:04Speaker 10: He did eight songs off Appetite. Eight out of twelve.
- 43:06Speaker 11: Yeah, that's... That's most of the album.
- 43:08Speaker 3: That's pretty impressive.
- 43:09Speaker 2: But he did, he did, it's like, For once, he
- 43:12Speaker 2: kind of put away the Axl Rose, you know, I'll
- 43:15Speaker 2: do whatever the fuck I want kind of attitude. And
- 43:17Speaker 2: was like, this is what my fans want. This is
- 43:20Speaker 2: what my fans want to see. And this is what
- 43:22Speaker 2: we're going to give them.
- 43:23Speaker 10: Awesome.
- 43:24Speaker 2: And, man, it was well worth the money that we
- 43:26Speaker 2: paid for it.
- 43:26Speaker 3: Get cold chills just thinking about it. It was fucking good.
- 43:31Speaker 2: And I told the guys at work because they were
- 43:33Speaker 2: laughing about it. And one of the guys was like,
- 43:35Speaker 2: so what about the X-Rose concert? Did he actually show up?
- 43:38Speaker 2: And I told him, I was like, dude, it's the
- 43:39Speaker 2: best fucking concert I've ever been to in my life.
- 43:41Speaker 3: He was like, get out of here.
- 43:42Speaker 2: I was like, I showed him the video because the
- 43:44Speaker 2: video was on YouTube. A couple people were taking videos
- 43:47Speaker 2: and stuff like that.
- 43:48Speaker 10: And, yeah.
- 43:50Speaker 3: By far, I mean, they're back.
- 43:52Speaker 4: Wow.
- 43:53Speaker 10: Everybody wants to give the whole It's not Guns N' Roses,
- 43:56Speaker 10: it's Axl Rose and those other guys. And I'm like,
- 43:59Speaker 10: to me, I'm sorry, but Guns N' Roses is Axl Rose.
- 44:02Speaker 10: I mean, yeah, Slash was cool. I like Slash. I
- 44:04Speaker 10: would like to see Guns N' Roses with Slash. He's
- 44:06Speaker 10: not the band to me.
- 44:07Speaker 3: It wasn't Guns N' Slash.
- 44:09Speaker 10: Does that mean Slash wasn't even the original guitar player?
- 44:12Speaker 3: Or Slash and Roses.
- 44:13Speaker 11: When you brought that up, I was like, okay, I
- 44:15Speaker 11: guess the fact that none of those other guys were
- 44:18Speaker 11: in the original.
- 44:19Speaker 10: Yeah, that's who they got famous with. I always get people,
- 44:22Speaker 10: everybody wants to talk shit about Steve Perry and Journey.
- 44:25Speaker 10: There was Journey before Steve Perry, but nobody gives a shit.
- 44:28Speaker 11: But nobody wants to watch that now.
- 44:29Speaker 10: I know, but to me, it's Axl Rose. The guitar
- 44:32Speaker 10: player they had was amazing. Yeah. DJ Ashbaugh.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Yeah, he was good. He was really good.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Because they brought him out, and I was like, oh, God,
- 44:40Speaker 2: they got another guy with a hat. I was like, oh, well,
- 44:44Speaker 2: I guess they got rid of Slash. They had to
- 44:45Speaker 2: go find another guy with a hat.
- 44:46Speaker 10: Slash 2.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Slash 2.0.
- 44:47Speaker 10: It's like a Hollywood rebooted Slash. But I don't know.
- 44:52Speaker 3: I don't want to say.
- 44:53Speaker 2: I don't know much of DJ Ashbaugh's background other than
- 44:56Speaker 2: he was in the Bullet.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Boys, right?
- 44:57Speaker 10: Yeah, he did some work. He wasn't originally in.
- 44:59Speaker 9: The Bullet Boys.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Did some work for him.
- 45:00Speaker 2: So I don't know what his whole background is, but
- 45:04Speaker 2: dude was fucking amazing on guitar.
- 45:05Speaker 3: He was good at.
- 45:07Speaker 2: if not better than Slash on guitar.
- 45:08Speaker 10: He had more personality.
- 45:10Speaker 3: He had a lot more personality.
- 45:11Speaker 10: Slash is kind of stood there.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Slash, he's there. He's Slash. He's kind of cool. He's quiet.
- 45:15Speaker 2: He stands there.
- 45:16Speaker 3: This guy was everywhere. He was running.
- 45:19Speaker 2: He was jumping from the upper part of the stage
- 45:24Speaker 2: to the lower part of the stage.
- 45:26Speaker 3: You couldn't keep up with the guy. He was everywhere.
- 45:28Speaker 11: Is he smooth up in you?
- 45:31Speaker 3: You know, I don't know.
- 45:32Speaker 11: I'm looking for a Bullet Boys reference. I was looking hard,
- 45:36Speaker 11: by the way. There aren't many.
- 45:39Speaker 2: I was afraid he was.
- 45:39Speaker 10: Going to be annoyed. Because I've been a Guns N'
- 45:41Speaker 10: Roses fan since I can remember, so I'm like, I
- 45:44Speaker 10: was going to be very judgmental.
- 45:46Speaker 3: Yeah, he wasn't annoying at all.
- 45:48Speaker 10: But he was hammy, but fun.
- 45:50Speaker 3: Yeah, he was fun hammy. Yeah, it was awesome.
- 45:54Speaker 10: Like I said, I went into it with very, very
- 45:57Speaker 10: low expectations. I'm like, what if I get there and
- 46:00Speaker 10: Axl Rose doesn't show up? Or what if there's nobody
- 46:05Speaker 10: at the show and he gets pissed? And half-asses it.
- 46:08Speaker 3: What if his voice isn't that good? What if he
- 46:10Speaker 3: looks like Rip Torn? Yeah. That'd be awesome. Oh, jeez.
- 46:18Speaker 3: That would still be awesome.
- 46:20Speaker 11: Confetti everywhere.
- 46:21Speaker 10: There was confetti everywhere.
- 46:23Speaker 11: That's what I'm saying.
- 46:24Speaker 3: That's a show, man.
- 46:25Speaker 11: There's a rock show. Hello, it's time for Guns N' Roses.
- 46:29Speaker 2: What is the end?
- 46:30Speaker 3: I'm trying to think which song it was.
- 46:32Speaker 2: It's got the really long note that he just.
- 46:34Speaker 11: Don't Cry.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Don't Cry.
- 46:36Speaker 2: He held that fucking note at the end, just like
- 46:39Speaker 2: he did, you know, so many years ago. And I
- 46:41Speaker 2: was just like, holy shit, he's still singing. He's like,
- 46:46Speaker 2: and you're like, okay, is he done?
- 46:49Speaker 3: No, he's still singing. God damn it, look at that guy,
- 46:52Speaker 3: he was still singing. You know, wow, that's cool.
- 46:54Speaker 10: It was amazing. I was so excited.
- 46:57Speaker 4: Wow.
- 46:58Speaker 10: I'm still excited.
- 46:59Speaker 3: Yeah, she's still excited.
- 47:00Speaker 2: I was happy she was, I was happy it turned
- 47:02Speaker 2: out great, because I would have felt bad to take her,
- 47:05Speaker 2: and it just be a complete, blow out like i.
- 47:07Speaker 10: Said i had low expectations because like i said i
- 47:09Speaker 10: didn't want to get too disappointed if something happened but
- 47:12Speaker 10: yeah there was a there was a huge crowd it
- 47:14Speaker 10: was like packed it was yeah it was a shit
- 47:17Speaker 10: ton of people and it was.
- 47:18Speaker 2: Just we saw it in uh cincinnati's u.s bank stadium
- 47:22Speaker 2: i think was yeah.
- 47:23Speaker 10: I was kind of aggravated that our seats were like
- 47:25Speaker 10: almost beside the stage i thought they were right but.
- 47:28Speaker 11: It was still awesome it's okay That's not Axl's fault.
- 47:31Speaker 10: Yeah, it wasn't Axl's fault. It was awesome. I would
- 47:34Speaker 10: probably pay to go see him again if they come
- 47:37Speaker 10: through here again, which will probably be another 10 years.
- 47:41Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 47:42Speaker 3: If he makes enough money off of it, he'll do
- 47:44Speaker 3: it again.
- 47:44Speaker 11: That's true.
- 47:46Speaker 3: He probably will.
- 47:47Speaker 10: I mean, we have the M Center now.
- 47:48Speaker 2: I mean, everybody was jazzed. Everybody, I mean, everybody that
- 47:52Speaker 2: I can think of that was around us were just like, oh, awesome.
- 47:55Speaker 3: It was funny to see people that brought their kids, too.
- 47:58Speaker 2: You know, so there's these, like, you know, 12, 13-year-old
- 48:02Speaker 2: kids there. And I think they even brought a little
- 48:05Speaker 2: kid up on stage to play guitar.
- 48:08Speaker 14: At one point.
- 48:09Speaker 10: He wasn't actually playing guitar.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Well, yeah, he wasn't playing guitar, but they brought him
- 48:13Speaker 2: up on stage to play guitar.
- 48:14Speaker 11: They shot him out of a cannon. Yeah, whatever.
- 48:17Speaker 10: It's a stage show. It was amazing. I couldn't have
- 48:20Speaker 10: asked for a better show. I was still excited because,
- 48:22Speaker 10: I mean, that's one of the few things that I've
- 48:23Speaker 10: ever needed to see. But yeah, I was so fucking excited.
- 48:27Speaker 10: I'm still excited. The only thing that kind of bugged
- 48:29Speaker 10: me was the camera Nazi.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't know if you were going to mention.
- 48:33Speaker 10: The camera Nazi. Yeah, the camera Nazi. So when I
- 48:36Speaker 10: emailed the stadium, I'm like, can you take pictures? Because
- 48:39Speaker 10: everybody knows Axl has a thing for cameras. For rules,
- 48:44Speaker 10: I mean he jumped into a crowd after somebody You're
- 48:49Speaker 10: like that can be me yeah, and so the actual
- 48:52Speaker 10: arena email me back and like yeah, just regular point
- 48:55Speaker 10: shoot You're good. I get there and like taking a
- 48:58Speaker 10: picture of the opening band, which sucked anyways I.
- 49:00Speaker 11: Just wanted to see if I could get it was
- 49:02Speaker 11: a test shot.
- 49:02Speaker 10: I took like three pictures She's like, oh you can't
- 49:04Speaker 10: have cameras. You can't have cameras. I'm like bitch.
- 49:07Speaker 14: Oh Yeah.
- 49:08Speaker 2: She was like, I wrote the stadium and they told
- 49:11Speaker 2: me I could have it. And she's like, no, you
- 49:12Speaker 2: can use your cell phone.
- 49:14Speaker 13: That's it.
- 49:14Speaker 11: So we can have really crappy quality pictures.
- 49:17Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Can't have you can't have cameras whereas the guy sitting
- 49:19Speaker 2: in front of us is using a fucking hand cannon
- 49:23Speaker 2: you know sitting there taking pictures and she didn't.
- 49:26Speaker 10: Say anything about it i don't think they said anything
- 49:28Speaker 10: once guns and roses actually started yeah She went away.
- 49:32Speaker 10: The girl next to me kept taking pictures. The girl
- 49:34Speaker 10: was staring at me because the flash kept going off.
- 49:37Speaker 10: She wanted to come get me.
- 49:38Speaker 2: She kind of had a little bit of an attitude
- 49:43Speaker 2: power trip going on.
- 49:44Speaker 10: Was it just because you had a flash? I wasn't
- 49:47Speaker 10: using flash at all.
- 49:47Speaker 3: She wasn't using anything. The chick next to her had
- 49:51Speaker 3: a camera.
- 49:52Speaker 10: When I had mine, I wasn't using flash at all.
- 49:54Speaker 2: She was standing up behind us, and I guess she
- 49:55Speaker 2: saw Misty's screen from her camera and came down there
- 49:58Speaker 2: to gripe at her about it.
- 49:59Speaker 10: It's alright, it was a shitty opening band anyway.
- 50:01Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 50:02Speaker 10: But anyways, that and the prices of t-shirts was ridiculous.
- 50:05Speaker 10: Forty bucks for a t-shirt. They only had one girl's shirt, and...
- 50:09Speaker 10: Didn't have the tour dates. Motherfucker, if I'm paying 40
- 50:11Speaker 10: goddamn dollars for a t-shirt from my concert, it better
- 50:14Speaker 10: have the fucking tour dates on it.
- 50:15Speaker 11: I want something better than I can buy at Walmart.
- 50:18Speaker 3: But she did get a t-shirt.
- 50:19Speaker 10: In the parking lot.
- 50:20Speaker 2: She got a t-shirt in the parking lot from a
- 50:22Speaker 2: guy who pulled it out from underneath his jacket.
- 50:24Speaker 10: It was tied around his waist.
- 50:26Speaker 2: This guy, I've never seen. I don't know how many
- 50:28Speaker 2: t-shirts he had stuffed up in his coat.
- 50:29Speaker 10: They were long sleeves.
- 50:30Speaker 3: They were.
- 50:31Speaker 10: He had to be long sleeve to tie around his waist.
- 50:33Speaker 11: That was his strategy. Well, that's the thing.
- 50:35Speaker 2: I don't know if he was big or if he
- 50:36Speaker 2: just had a shitload of t-shirts. Because he was wearing
- 50:39Speaker 2: this huge coat. And she was like, Anita, what do
- 50:42Speaker 2: you want?
- 50:42Speaker 11: He's like 90 pounds.
- 50:43Speaker 12: Oh, he's small.
- 50:44Speaker 10: She's like.
- 50:45Speaker 3: He's like, he just pulled it out of his coat.
- 50:47Speaker 3: He's like, oh, that's medium. That's a medium.
- 50:49Speaker 10: There's not even a size tag on it anywhere.
- 50:52Speaker 3: They were all one size.
- 50:54Speaker 2: They were all one size. He was like, I need
- 50:56Speaker 2: a small.
- 50:57Speaker 3: He's like, okay, here.
- 50:58Speaker 10: He said he didn't have a small. He said he
- 50:59Speaker 10: had a medium.
- 51:01Speaker 11: Well, if you fake it out like that.
- 51:02Speaker 10: I'm afraid to wash it. It might fall apart.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Yeah, but you got a good story out of it, too.
- 51:07Speaker 10: It was 20 bucks. It was long sleeve. Those were
- 51:09Speaker 10: 50 bucks instead.
- 51:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:11Speaker 10: And it was awesome. I'm excited still. I'm I love it.
- 51:14Speaker 14: Me too.
- 51:16Speaker 10: I would go see him again. I love you sometimes.
- 51:18Speaker 10: I was going to marry him when I was 12
- 51:19Speaker 10: years old.
- 51:21Speaker 11: How's that working out for you?
- 51:23Speaker 10: It didn't work out so well.
- 51:27Speaker 12: Oh, well.
- 51:27Speaker 10: I would still marry him from when I was 12,
- 51:29Speaker 10: but that probably wouldn't work out for us.
- 51:31Speaker 11: I don't know if I'd go with that right now.
- 51:34Speaker 10: No, the him from when I was 12 years old.
- 51:36Speaker 11: So he has to marry you when you're 12 years old?
- 51:38Speaker 4: No.
- 51:38Speaker 17: No.
- 51:39Speaker 10: Him.
- 51:39Speaker 3: She would marry him when he was.
- 51:42Speaker 11: I know, that's how I originally read it, but then
- 51:45Speaker 11: you restated it, and maybe we went, well, maybe this
- 51:46Speaker 11: works both ways.
- 51:47Speaker 3: 12-year-old, you would think that was awesome.
- 51:49Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 51:51Speaker 11: He might think it's awesome, we don't know.
- 51:52Speaker 4: You know, the people that I wanted to marry when
- 51:54Speaker 4: I was really young, like Elijah Wood and Macaulay Culkin,
- 51:57Speaker 4: they're both really gay. What is wrong with them?
- 52:00Speaker 3: What was Elijah Wood in?
- 52:02Speaker 10: He was in Convertible.
- 52:03Speaker 11: He's Frodo.
- 52:04Speaker 4: No, he was tons of stuff.
- 52:05Speaker 3: Oh, back then.
- 52:06Speaker 10: North.
- 52:06Speaker 9: North.
- 52:07Speaker 11: Oh, he was in every movie.
- 52:08Speaker 4: Tom. They couldn't make a kid's movie.
- 52:10Speaker 11: Without Elijah Moore.
- 52:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:10Speaker 11: I mean, if there was a movie.
- 52:11Speaker 16: He was.
- 52:12Speaker 3: He was one of those go-to kids. Was he a
- 52:13Speaker 3: fan or Tom sort? I don't know. I never saw. See,
- 52:16Speaker 3: I was already old then.
- 52:18Speaker 11: But he was like any movie with a kid in it,
- 52:20Speaker 11: in that 10 year span, he was the kid.
- 52:22Speaker 15: Wow.
- 52:22Speaker 3: You know, so many people panned North. I actually have
- 52:26Speaker 3: watched it again and really enjoyed it.
- 52:28Speaker 11: I never saw it.
- 52:29Speaker 4: It was way too much of like an indie movie,
- 52:31Speaker 4: I think, for me when I was a.
- 52:32Speaker 3: Kid editing it.
- 52:32Speaker 6: Well, yeah.
- 52:33Speaker 11: It's been so long, I don't remember anything about it.
- 52:35Speaker 10: I don't either.
- 52:36Speaker 11: It just didn't make any sense at the time. Yeah.
- 52:42Speaker 4: Pretty sure he's gay. Macaulay Culkin's kind of gay, too.
- 52:45Speaker 11: I don't know either of those. I don't know that
- 52:47Speaker 11: either have been confirmed.
- 52:49Speaker 4: I don't think it's confirmed, but... He's getting all kinds
- 52:51Speaker 4: of hot chicks.
- 52:52Speaker 10: He was with What's-Her-Face for a while. Hey, Mila Kunis
- 52:55Speaker 10: was with Macaulay Culkin one day together?
- 52:57Speaker 11: Probably.
- 52:58Speaker 4: I think Macaulay Culkin's actually less gay than Elijah Wood,
- 53:00Speaker 4: who's probably actually gay. I think Macaulay Culkin's just Kind
- 53:03Speaker 4: of effeminate.
- 53:04Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 53:05Speaker 3: I always thought it was just Macaulay Culkin.
- 53:08Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 53:09Speaker 2: I never really read into whether he was.
- 53:12Speaker 3: I didn't care.
- 53:12Speaker 11: I mean, he married that chick, so he was at
- 53:14Speaker 11: least covering really good.
- 53:15Speaker 2: That's Macaulay Culkin.
- 53:16Speaker 3: He's just Macaulay Culkin. I don't know. I guess people
- 53:18Speaker 3: to me are just.
- 53:19Speaker 2: He's not gay, he's just pale. He had an odd
- 53:23Speaker 2: life from the time he was seven.
- 53:25Speaker 11: Yeah, he really did.
- 53:26Speaker 3: And you can tell by the kids in the family,
- 53:28Speaker 3: they're all kind of odd.
- 53:29Speaker 11: They all got swept up in that ridiculous thing that
- 53:33Speaker 11: happened to them.
- 53:34Speaker 2: And they've got weird names.
- 53:36Speaker 3: I think that messes up people.
- 53:38Speaker 10: Kieran, Macaulay.
- 53:39Speaker 3: There's another one.
- 53:40Speaker 15: Rory.
- 53:41Speaker 4: Rory's not even that bad.
- 53:43Speaker 3: But for a boy, it's weird.
- 53:44Speaker 10: Macaulay? What kind of name is Macaulay? That's like a
- 53:45Speaker 10: last name. You can call him Mac. Terrible name.
- 53:48Speaker 6: Macaulay.
- 53:50Speaker 3: And he hung out with Michael Jackson.
- 53:52Speaker 11: That didn't turn out well for Michael, so.
- 53:56Speaker 10: Right.
- 53:57Speaker 3: So.
- 53:59Speaker 10: For Michael, we haven't seen Faith Feldman for a while.
- 54:00Speaker 10: Is he okay?
- 54:01Speaker 7: Every time I drive through here, I just, I'm like, okay,
- 54:05Speaker 7: am I going to see the Feldman?
- 54:08Speaker 3: You know it because he's wearing the hat.
- 54:10Speaker 2: You always know he's always wearing the Feldman hat. Because
- 54:13Speaker 2: I have to come through here about once a week
- 54:15Speaker 2: to go over here to the bank, and this.
- 54:16Speaker 10: Is the easiest way through. He can tell you where
- 54:18Speaker 10: he lives.
- 54:18Speaker 3: I'm going to go hang out with him. Creepy.
- 54:22Speaker 2: He's always walking up this street, and he goes up
- 54:24Speaker 2: to the Kroger. And I know he's really into music.
- 54:27Speaker 10: He's a big Michael Jackson fan.
- 54:28Speaker 2: He's a big Michael Jackson fan. He likes Kiss, too.
- 54:31Speaker 3: And we need to get him on the show. I
- 54:32Speaker 3: overheard him talking at Kroger.
- 54:35Speaker 8: That's it.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Over cause I was I was texting I was texting
- 54:39Speaker 2: Missy I was like holy crap I'm gonna say Miles
- 54:42Speaker 2: fake velvet.
- 54:43Speaker 10: That's what we do with our cats oh my god
- 54:48Speaker 10: he can remember this from weeks ago but he can't
- 54:50Speaker 10: remember the god damn red velvet.
- 54:51Speaker 2: It's just funny that I'm sorry I hope I didn't
- 54:54Speaker 2: spit on your.
- 54:54Speaker 11: Arm You're that excited about fake Feldman, but you weren't
- 54:57Speaker 11: that excited when we saw the actual Feldman. You saw
- 55:02Speaker 11: the real Feldman, and you were like, oh, hey, what's up?
- 55:04Speaker 11: You're like, fake Feldman is right here.
- 55:06Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 55:07Speaker 3: Something's out of whack there.
- 55:09Speaker 10: It's like I had to sign my name.
- 55:10Speaker 3: Well, maybe they're really split.
- 55:12Speaker 2: Real Feldman's surrounded by bodyguards. Fake Feldman's not.
- 55:16Speaker 11: I don't think I've had lunch in a long time.
- 55:18Speaker 10: She can party.
- 55:18Speaker 3: We need to get fake Feldman a bodyguard.
- 55:20Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah. It's just a matter of time.
- 55:22Speaker 4: I wonder if fake Madonna is still around. Fake Madonna
- 55:25Speaker 4: and fake Feldman, that would be epic.
- 55:27Speaker 10: I don't know that one girl who was kind of blonde.
- 55:30Speaker 3: Which one?
- 55:30Speaker 10: The one who was on the street with his fancy clothes.
- 55:32Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, he had his fancy clothes on.
- 55:33Speaker 3: They went up the subway.
- 55:36Speaker 11: That's what you do.
- 55:37Speaker 4: No, there used to be, when I was a teenager
- 55:39Speaker 4: and I worked at the mall, there used to be this, like,
- 55:41Speaker 4: large girl who always had, like, cut off jean shorts
- 55:45Speaker 4: and tights underneath them and this leather jacket no matter
- 55:47Speaker 4: if it was 120 degrees in the middle of july
- 55:50Speaker 4: and she had like a cassette tape player and headphones
- 55:54Speaker 4: and this was like 2002 people didn't have cassette then
- 56:00Speaker 4: but she would like walk up and down that oh
- 56:03Speaker 4: and she had like one dangly cross but she danced
- 56:06Speaker 4: She did, and she would sing Like a Virgin really loudly,
- 56:09Speaker 4: and she thought she was like hot shit. I'm just like,
- 56:12Speaker 4: it's 2002, you fucking retarded bitch.
- 56:16Speaker 11: But she's doing classic Madonna, so she's got to have
- 56:19Speaker 11: the classic hardware to go with it.
- 56:21Speaker 10: Did she have a boy toy back then? Probably.
- 56:24Speaker 3: It sounds almost like it was a cross-dressing man that
- 56:29Speaker 3: was dressing up as Madonna. I don't know. It seems
- 56:31Speaker 3: like something that a.
- 56:31Speaker 10: You saw a Mike Feldman dance. Yeah, I did.
- 56:34Speaker 3: I loved early Madonna. I ain't gonna lie.
- 56:36Speaker 12: No, she was.
- 56:37Speaker 3: I'm so in love with her.
- 56:39Speaker 11: I will go on record. She was badass in that mid-range, like, both. Like,
- 56:43Speaker 11: she was kind of hot, but on top of that, like,
- 56:45Speaker 11: she knew how to work where she was. Like, she
- 56:48Speaker 11: worked the system so well that, I mean, she was
- 56:52Speaker 11: completely in control of everything that happened in her career.
- 56:55Speaker 11: And that, like, I will give her credit. That's amazing,
- 56:57Speaker 11: because most people cannot do that.
- 56:59Speaker 4: How'd she get so old so fast?
- 57:01Speaker 10: I'm so creepy.
- 57:03Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 57:03Speaker 11: I don't think it was that fast. It's been 30,
- 57:05Speaker 11: 40 years since that happens.
- 57:07Speaker 4: It doesn't seem like it's been that fast.
- 57:10Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 57:10Speaker 10: It's crazy.
- 57:12Speaker 5: Oh.
- 57:13Speaker 10: Anyway, that's the end of our Geek Week.
- 57:14Speaker 11: Alright, so.
- 57:15Speaker 10: Fucking love me some Guns N' Roses.
- 57:17Speaker 11: And Madonna's sitting on Santa's lap right now.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Fake Feldman trumps real Feldman.
- 57:22Speaker 2: Yeah, that's... Well, I got more of a shot at
- 57:24Speaker 2: becoming fake Feldman's friend than real Feldman's friend.
- 57:27Speaker 11: And you'd probably prefer it, actually.
- 57:28Speaker 3: I thought you guys would probably.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Hame in there, baby.
- 57:33Speaker 10: Oh, God. Yes, that's awesome. We should talk about the
- 57:36Speaker 10: Hame game on Tumblr.
- 57:37Speaker 11: Yeah, Fozzie, I showed it to her. I think she'd
- 57:40Speaker 11: already seen it.
- 57:40Speaker 10: I'd already seen it, but I was.
- 57:41Speaker 11: There were new ones today.
- 57:42Speaker 10: There were new ones that I had not yet seen,
- 57:43Speaker 10: and they were fantastic. I had not seen the Hame
- 57:45Speaker 10: in there, which was... I want to print it out
- 57:47Speaker 10: and hang it on my wall, like poster size, like....
- 57:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:52Speaker 10: It's going to be rowdy.
- 57:55Speaker 11: Oh, poor Jay. You're going to have to look at that.
- 57:59Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 58:00Speaker 11: Hame and a kitten every morning when you wake up.
- 58:02Speaker 6: Damn it.
- 58:02Speaker 10: I'm going to make it like ceiling size and put
- 58:05Speaker 10: it on the ceiling.
- 58:06Speaker 3: I can't see.
- 58:09Speaker 11: One more time. That's coming in handy.
- 58:12Speaker 2: It's like 4 o'clock in the morning.
- 58:14Speaker 3: It's dark in there. I can't see anything.
- 58:16Speaker 10: You always scare the hell out.
- 58:18Speaker 11: Of me, too. I'm sorry.
- 58:18Speaker 10: Especially when you're coming in your work uniform. I'm like,
- 58:21Speaker 10: this is gas station attendant. Why is he on my bedroom?
- 58:25Speaker 3: Here, check your oil. No, don't check on the oil.
- 58:29Speaker 4: Is that a double entendre?
- 58:30Speaker 11: I don't even think it was a double. I think
- 58:33Speaker 11: it just went right for him.
- 58:34Speaker 10: Not that he's a gas station attendant, but he wears
- 58:37Speaker 10: a uniform. And when I'm half asleep, he looks like
- 58:39Speaker 10: a gas station attendant. And he scares the hell out
- 58:41Speaker 10: of me.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Excuse me, Miss. Can I check under your hood? Oh, Lord.
- 58:50Speaker 3: Fill her up. Can I rotate your tires? Your legs
- 58:57Speaker 3: go on your arm spot. That would be awful.
- 59:01Speaker 11: Your legs go on your arm spot.
- 59:06Speaker 10: That would be awesome.
- 59:10Speaker 11: You'd be like Sabuba.
- 59:11Speaker 16: Sabuba.
- 59:12Speaker 6: Star Wars.
- 59:12Speaker 11: The fucky one. the first yeah he was about the
- 59:22Speaker 11: only tolerable thing in.
- 59:23Speaker 2: That first movie watching any of that was pretty much
- 59:26Speaker 2: it really.
- 59:27Speaker 7: I discovered for my son the um he's five and
- 59:32Speaker 7: into lightsabers i discovered um someone has taken the lightsaber
- 59:36Speaker 7: duel from the phantom menace and cut it into just
- 59:40Speaker 7: that scene on YouTube, and you can just watch that,
- 59:43Speaker 7: and it's eight minutes, and I said, that's all you
- 59:46Speaker 7: need to see from that movie.
- 59:47Speaker 11: It really is.
- 59:48Speaker 3: And he goes, okay, what's the next one? So we
- 59:52Speaker 3: started watching the second movie.
- 59:53Speaker 11: It's true, because I went back because I got it
- 59:55Speaker 11: on DVD almost for that, and then I went back
- 59:58Speaker 11: to watch it, and I was like, damn it, I
- 59:59Speaker 11: forgot it's so cut in with all this Amidala running
- 1:00:02Speaker 11: around a freaking parking garage or wherever they were at.
- 1:00:06Speaker 11: I can't remember what floor we parked on. I was like,
- 1:00:09Speaker 11: what the hell is this? I was like, just get
- 1:00:12Speaker 11: back to the Darth Maul fight, because that's all that's good. So, yeah,
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: it's good. Yeah, thank you, YouTube, once again.
- 1:00:17Speaker 10: That was the only part that was worth watching. Yep,
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: pretty much.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: I fell asleep during it.
- 1:00:24Speaker 11: Yep, just nudge you once you get to that part.
- 1:00:26Speaker 11: Everything else is wasted in two hours.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: You know, it's like, what I think is really strange,
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: I've seen Star Wars... I could not tell you how
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: many times, but I cannot remember a single part from
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: any Star Wars movie. It's like, there's certain things that
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: do not stick in my brain. It's card games, algebraic equations,
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: and Star Wars movies.
- 1:00:48Speaker 10: I'm only saying like once or twice each ever. I
- 1:00:51Speaker 10: was not brought up on Star Wars.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: I was brought up on Star Wars. I watched Empire
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: every day.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: I was brought up to believe that the new three
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: that Lucas brought out are completely they're garbage.
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: I can't tell you anything that's happened in any of them.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: They don't exist in my world. But that's okay.
- 1:01:09Speaker 11: I think most fans fall into that category.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: I still think Revenge of the Sith is.
- 1:01:14Speaker 11: It's tolerable.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: It's what I expected.
- 1:01:18Speaker 11: It's the best of those three, obviously.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Is that the last one? That's the last one.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: I did see part of it. It was a bad
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: bootleg copy. But that was right when it came out
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: in the theater. I didn't really feel like watching it.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: I fast-forwarded through a good majority of it right up
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: to the end battle where he gets burned.
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: And then I laughed most of it. Yeah, I laughed
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: most of it. I was like, ah, Anakin's getting burned.
- 1:01:44Speaker 10: We maybe hate Hayden Christensen, like, severely.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: Has he been in anything else?
- 1:01:48Speaker 10: He's in that one movie we watched that we hated
- 1:01:50Speaker 10: because he was in it. Chapter? Vanishing on 7th Street.
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 1:01:55Speaker 10: It was stupid anyways, but he just made it worse
- 1:01:57Speaker 10: with his face.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: That movie was horrible. You can rip apart me better
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: than anybody I've ever met.
- 1:02:04Speaker 10: This is that whole being brought up with no real emotions.
- 1:02:09Speaker 11: I hate you for what you do.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: I hate you for who you are. And what you
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: look like.
- 1:02:15Speaker 11: I hate who you are, so I can.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: See in you.
- 1:02:20Speaker 11: That's so deep of you.
- 1:02:21Speaker 14: I am.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: I don't like your eyebrow.
- 1:02:24Speaker 10: I've hated people for less.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: That's true.
- 1:02:28Speaker 10: That one girl in Supernatural, the way her mouth moves.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: Yeah. I hate her.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: She's like, God, I hate that bitch and her mouth.
- 1:02:34Speaker 11: Stupid people with mouths.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Just the way her mouth works, I just hate her.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: I hate her genetics. Stupid people with mouths.
- 1:02:45Speaker 10: That's the way she talks. It's me, Meg, the blonde Meg,
- 1:02:49Speaker 10: before she becomes... Never mind.
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: Fuck you guys.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: No, I can't laugh. You're saying something funny? Oh, Lord.
- 1:02:58Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:02:59Speaker 11: Blonde Meg.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: She hates blonde Meg from Supernatural.
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: Is there more than one Meg?
- 1:03:03Speaker 10: She's a demon, so she's in different bodies.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: She jumps in another body.
- 1:03:05Speaker 10: I don't like the one she's in later, but I.
- 1:03:07Speaker 16: Don't like it.
- 1:03:07Speaker 10: I don't like the way Sam's face twitches when he
- 1:03:08Speaker 10: talks either. When he's going to cry, he moves his face.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: Twitches.
- 1:03:13Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't like it.
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: Didn't you say he has a weird ear? I don't know.
- 1:03:18Speaker 10: No, Jensen X was a short forehead.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: I thought you.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: Said he had weird ears or something.
- 1:03:23Speaker 11: You need like a program. You can't tell the players
- 1:03:25Speaker 11: without a program and their defects. Would you print that out?
- 1:03:30Speaker 11: Misty's list of defects of celebrities.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Oh, God.
- 1:03:34Speaker 11: It's like a phone book.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: You should write a book. That would be great.
- 1:03:38Speaker 10: I have a Tumblr.
- 1:03:40Speaker 11: That would be too much work. That's true. You can
- 1:03:43Speaker 11: send it over and we'll put it in form for you. Yeah.
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: Sam's face twitches too much. It seems like his lips
- 1:03:51Speaker 10: want to go up his nose.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: Are you done with your geek week? I'm done.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: Fuckin' A.
- 1:04:07Speaker 11: Take a break and be back with the rest of
- 1:04:09Speaker 11: the celebration.

- 1:04:15Speaker 5: That everybody just won't do.

- 1:06:27Speaker 4: The right or the left?
- 1:06:27Speaker 10: I don't know. That's the smell of failure. Valor smells
- 1:06:30Speaker 10: like dove?
- 1:06:31Speaker 18: Mine has a pleasant lady speed stick scent. Kind of
- 1:06:33Speaker 18: makes me think of candy canes.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: Your resentment is delicious.
- 1:06:37Speaker 18: Visit gleecast.podomatic.com or search for us in the iTunes store.

- 1:06:46Speaker 15: Boy, the only thing missing from this place is a
- 1:06:47Speaker 15: couple dozen bodies limed and rotting in shallow graves under
- 1:06:50Speaker 15: the floorboards.
- 1:06:51Speaker 10: We're working on that.
- 1:06:52Speaker 14: Don't forget that report, Bill.
- 1:06:54Speaker 15: Yes, sir.
- 1:06:54Speaker 19: Thank you.

- 1:07:01Speaker 12: Happy Hanukkah.
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: It's part of your problem, you know.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: You haven't seen enough movies. All of life's riddles are answered.
- 1:07:08Speaker 19: In the movies.
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: And now, on with the show.

- 1:08:20Speaker 11: rest of it.
- 1:08:21Speaker 10: Uh-oh.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: Is there cookies?
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: Why do we have pizza if we're going to have
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: this many snacks?
- 1:08:26Speaker 11: Because cookies aren't dinner, damn it. How old are you?
- 1:08:30Speaker 10: Cookies are dinner because we are adults.
- 1:08:34Speaker 11: We are very refined adults I do what I want
- 1:08:38Speaker 11: that's right fuck yeah my.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: Son he believes that popcorn is a meal.
- 1:08:42Speaker 11: Okay I've done that before but you know you tried to.
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: Pass jerky off to me it is a meal if
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: he can eat jerky he calls it big bacon for
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: whatever reason because it's like bacon but thicker we.
- 1:08:56Speaker 10: Have some jerky that Jay hid in the.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Cabinet I didn't hide it but it want some, it's
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: I ate the best part of the jerky.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: It's gone. This is the left. He said two different flavors.
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: Jerky lemons.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: These were a little bit eating Randy jerky.
- 1:09:15Speaker 10: Holy shit.
- 1:09:16Speaker 11: This is one of the bags.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: The other bag he sent was more for us. Can
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: I have, like.
- 1:09:22Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: This is, like, $ 1, 000 with.
- 1:09:23Speaker 10: A steak right here. I know. And he sent two bags.
- 1:09:26Speaker 11: All right, we're back. And go ahead.
- 1:09:29Speaker 10: We're eating Randy jerky.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: We're eating Randy's meat. It's byproduct for human consumption.
- 1:09:37Speaker 11: So it says, but I don't know.
- 1:09:39Speaker 10: I forced Jay into sharing.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: At least it doesn't say, like... grade D, but edible. No,
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: you didn't force me into sharing. I share my stuff.
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: You put it hidden in the cabinet.
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: It is hidden.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Oh my God, like it was so fucking hidden in
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: the cabinet behind that damn door.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: Nobody could get to.
- 1:09:56Speaker 11: He has a secret book that he's hollowed out.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: And he hides his drink in the cabinet.
- 1:10:00Speaker 10: It was on the cabinet when you all got here.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: Then that's it no I put it up because we
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: were putting other shit right.
- 1:10:07Speaker 10: There he was cleaning up shut up I know god
- 1:10:09Speaker 10: I'm having a hard time calm down anyways we were
- 1:10:13Speaker 10: sharing the Randy jerky that he sent to us last
- 1:10:16Speaker 10: time well Jay ate all the good stuff.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Well yeah I ate all the damn good.
- 1:10:20Speaker 10: Stuff I'm not implying that this isn't good the better.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Stuff yeah Randy sent me two bags and one's gone
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: one's gone.
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: So Thanks, Randy.
- 1:10:35Speaker 11: All right, well, that'll be a good lead-in to the
- 1:10:37Speaker 11: rest of this goings-on. So this, you know, being the... Basically,
- 1:10:43Speaker 11: our anniversary, you know, this week, more or less, what,
- 1:10:49Speaker 11: three years ago, we started this process. So it's, you know,
- 1:10:54Speaker 11: it's kind of.
- 1:10:55Speaker 10: Was it three years ago or four years ago?
- 1:10:57Speaker 11: It would be three. This is the fourth time we've
- 1:10:59Speaker 11: done this, but... I'm confused. It was 2008, so.
- 1:11:04Speaker 10: Are you sure you don't want any more?
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: Swash all the air out of it.
- 1:11:09Speaker 10: I'm good. I'm going to bring it to you so
- 1:11:10Speaker 10: you can do it. I don't want to squish your
- 1:11:12Speaker 10: meat incorrectly. Ooh.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: Oh, that's what you're into.
- 1:11:15Speaker 10: Whichever.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: It's all good. I get her to make animal shapes
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: out of it. There's a website for you.
- 1:11:20Speaker 11: Oh, God. It's a draft. Never mind. So every year
- 1:11:38Speaker 11: our holiday celebration is also our birthday. So we're just
- 1:11:43Speaker 11: like Jesus is what I'm saying.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:11:46Speaker 11: I'm hoping that goes over like that.
- 1:11:47Speaker 10: I rip like Jesus.
- 1:11:48Speaker 11: We're more popular than Jesus. You know, that took off
- 1:11:50Speaker 11: so well. We're just like Jesus here at Movie Mountain.
- 1:11:54Speaker 11: Our birthday's in December. So that being the case, I
- 1:11:57Speaker 11: thought we would celebrate our anniversary and the holidays and
- 1:12:01Speaker 11: episode 150 and everything all at once with our little
- 1:12:04Speaker 11: feedback fest here. So some of this we've had for
- 1:12:06Speaker 11: a while. A few of them came in the last
- 1:12:09Speaker 11: day or so. Not very many because most of you
- 1:12:11Speaker 11: guys are slackers. But we do have one, and this
- 1:12:15Speaker 11: one we have had for a few weeks now. It
- 1:12:18Speaker 11: was probably last time all of us were here, but
- 1:12:20Speaker 11: because he's talking about last time we were talking with Jay, so.
- 1:12:23Speaker 11: First off, we will come to James.
- 1:12:25Speaker 10: Hey, man.
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: Hey, man.
- 1:12:26Speaker 10: Hey, man.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: I want to be a fixer, too, man.
- 1:12:28Speaker 10: Come on. Come on.
- 1:12:29Speaker 6: Come on.
- 1:12:29Speaker 17: Come on.
- 1:12:29Speaker 6: Come here.
- 1:12:30Speaker 16: Come on.
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: Hey, this is James.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Crap, I hate it when I do that. My brain
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: freezes up and I forget what I was saying. Hey,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: to Jay, regarding his advice for his child, dude, you
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: fucking rock.
- 1:12:48Speaker 15: As someone who basically grew up having his parents tell
- 1:12:52Speaker 15: him he was a God damn idiot most of his life.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 1:12:55Speaker 10: Seriously.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Just fucking awesome.
- 1:12:58Speaker 10: Keep at it.
- 1:12:59Speaker 15: Uh, trick or treat, kick ass.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I saw that when I was a kid.
- 1:13:04Speaker 15: Uh, like, probably pretty soon after it came out. And, uh,
- 1:13:08Speaker 15: that movie just like, when I was a kid, it
- 1:13:10Speaker 15: just blew my mind. Uh, and then as I got older,
- 1:13:13Speaker 15: you know, they come out on DVD and I saw
- 1:13:15Speaker 15: the DVD with Gene Simmons and Ozzy on the cover
- 1:13:18Speaker 15: and went, ooh.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Uh, and, yeah, uh, We watch it just about every
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: year at Halloween.
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: It is a.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Staple around the household.
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: Oh, crap.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Oh, well, fuck it. Most of y'all know my last
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: name anyway. But it is a staple.
- 1:13:34Speaker 15: We love it and always loved it, always will love it.
- 1:13:39Speaker 15: I don't really have much else to say. Oh, yeah,
- 1:13:41Speaker 15: Garfield Kids sucked.
- 1:13:43Speaker 10: Wow.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: When I was a kid, I fucked a chick from
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Garfield Kids, like super hot. And then we watched it again, and, like,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: for the last three or four years.
- 1:13:52Speaker 15: Ew.
- 1:13:52Speaker 10: Awful.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Anyway, that was it.
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: Later, dudes.
- 1:13:57Speaker 11: And if you remember the Trick or Treat episode, we
- 1:14:00Speaker 11: went into the whole, like, telling Izzy to do her
- 1:14:04Speaker 11: whole thing and not worry about what other people say
- 1:14:07Speaker 11: and kind of supporting her doing her own thing as
- 1:14:11Speaker 11: opposed to his parents telling him he's a fucking idiot.
- 1:14:14Speaker 11: So it seems so. Thank you, James.
- 1:14:18Speaker 10: Yeah, thanks.
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: No last name. We'll take that out for you. But yeah,
- 1:14:22Speaker 11: most of us all know. I would think in the
- 1:14:26Speaker 11: interweb community that we have here. But yeah, that's awesome.
- 1:14:31Speaker 11: And yeah, it's good to know that people actually are
- 1:14:35Speaker 11: taking something from this and even more so that he
- 1:14:38Speaker 11: was creeped out by that girl too, which I don't
- 1:14:40Speaker 11: know why we always come back to Garbage Pail Kids.
- 1:14:42Speaker 11: Everybody comments on, we've never watched the Garbage Pail Kids,
- 1:14:45Speaker 11: but like, That's at least two people that have called
- 1:14:47Speaker 11: in to tell us about the Garbage Pail Kids movie
- 1:14:51Speaker 11: as though we had a whole episode on it. And
- 1:14:53Speaker 11: I'm like, we've mentioned it a few times. But I agree,
- 1:14:56Speaker 11: that girl's kind of weird looking now that I think
- 1:14:58Speaker 11: back on it. Which girl?
- 1:14:59Speaker 10: Tangerine.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Who?
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: The girl Tangerine in the Garbage Pail Kids movie.
- 1:15:06Speaker 9: Oh, hell, I didn't.
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: I haven't seen that movie. My favorite. My favorite line ever, though,
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: at the end of the movie, he goes, I'm sorry, Tangerine.
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: I just don't think you're pretty anymore.
- 1:15:19Speaker 11: And we were all like, yep.
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: Yeah, neither do we, huh?
- 1:15:22Speaker 11: You're on to something, kid.
- 1:15:24Speaker 10: Yeah, never seen it.
- 1:15:27Speaker 11: So, yeah, we have a weird connection to Garbage Pail
- 1:15:29Speaker 11: Kids because.
- 1:15:30Speaker 10: I don't want to discourage anybody. If you want to
- 1:15:32Speaker 10: call and talk about Garbage Pail Kids, knock yourself out.
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: Feel free.
- 1:15:34Speaker 11: That's awesome.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: Garbage Pail Kids podcast.
- 1:15:36Speaker 11: I'm trying to think of what we brought up that
- 1:15:39Speaker 11: time recently because, yeah, that's at least the second time
- 1:15:41Speaker 11: we've gotten Garbage Pail Kids responses. So, I don't know.
- 1:15:45Speaker 11: That's awesome.
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: Either way.
- 1:15:47Speaker 10: I want somebody to call in and reference something we've
- 1:15:48Speaker 10: never talked about.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: Don't we get that?
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: Pull a dang cook.
- 1:15:53Speaker 11: Right.
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: Oh, man.
- 1:15:56Speaker 11: So, yeah, that was cool. And he liked Trick or Treat, so,
- 1:16:00Speaker 11: you know, more than most people.
- 1:16:02Speaker 10: I didn't like it that much, I don't think.
- 1:16:04Speaker 11: You liked it on the episode.
- 1:16:05Speaker 10: I didn't like Skippy.
- 1:16:06Speaker 11: Nobody likes Skippy. That's why he's Skippy. Poor bastard.
- 1:16:10Speaker 10: I don't remember that.
- 1:16:12Speaker 11: Alright, so we also had a few from the, this,
- 1:16:17Speaker 11: a lot of our summer appearances that have been sitting
- 1:16:21Speaker 11: for a while because it was text and nobody, we
- 1:16:23Speaker 11: weren't together most of the time, so This was actually
- 1:16:27Speaker 11: when we were talking to Michael Kinworthy at Days of
- 1:16:30Speaker 11: the Dead, and we talked to Candice, who wrote in,
- 1:16:33Speaker 11: and she was like, Wow, I love listening to you guys,
- 1:16:36Speaker 11: and great interview with Michael. He is such a great guy.
- 1:16:39Speaker 11: Really likable, easy to talk to. She says, Oh yeah,
- 1:16:41Speaker 11: I'm listening now, and you sure have my humor. She says, Haha,
- 1:16:46Speaker 11: I spit out my coffee a few minutes ago. Listening
- 1:16:48Speaker 11: to the Twilight commentary. I will continue to stay a
- 1:16:52Speaker 11: loyal fan and pass your links on. Keep them coming.
- 1:16:55Speaker 11: And she rounds it out with, right now I'm on
- 1:16:58Speaker 11: the one where y'all are talking about peewee and earnest.
- 1:17:00Speaker 11: Must remember not to get a full bladder before listening.
- 1:17:03Speaker 10: Nice.
- 1:17:05Speaker 11: So, thank you to Candice. That was awesome. And again,
- 1:17:09Speaker 11: she was going through a rundown there.
- 1:17:10Speaker 10: We need to get a sponsorship from Depends. Make you
- 1:17:14Speaker 10: laugh so hard you pee yourself.
- 1:17:15Speaker 11: If you can set that up, please do. There we are.
- 1:17:19Speaker 11: So that's, yeah.
- 1:17:20Speaker 10: I don't know why I used that voice when I
- 1:17:21Speaker 10: said that.
- 1:17:23Speaker 11: I'm pretty sure that's not what she said.
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: It's like your Mitch, what's his face, voice.
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: Ms.
- 1:17:28Speaker 11: Schwan?
- 1:17:28Speaker 10: No, Mitch Hedberg.
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: Oh, Ms.
- 1:17:31Speaker 10: Hedberg. Hedberg. I've heard the name, but I've never actually
- 1:17:35Speaker 10: heard his name.
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: It's like if you're wearing a turtleneck and a backpack,
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: it's like being strangled by a midget.
- 1:17:40Speaker 11: That's awesome.
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: One of my favorite comedians.
- 1:17:44Speaker 11: Of all time. We will get a sponsorship. From the pins.
- 1:17:48Speaker 11: It's all in how you word things. I don't know why.
- 1:17:52Speaker 11: I guess I pee myself a lot. Oops, I crapped
- 1:17:57Speaker 11: my pants.
- 1:17:58Speaker 10: They offered to give me money to take a survey
- 1:18:00Speaker 10: at the mall if I would take a survey on
- 1:18:03Speaker 10: adult diapers. I'm like, but I don't wear it, though.
- 1:18:07Speaker 10: She's like, well, you can just tell them you do.
- 1:18:08Speaker 10: I'm like, I'm not going to lie about that.
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: Adult diapers are a very niche market.
- 1:18:13Speaker 11: You either need them or you don't.
- 1:18:14Speaker 10: Are they going to pay you? Like, ten bucks.
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, it's really funny. Jessica and I were
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: walking through the mall the other day, and this guy,
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: I coincidentally made out with him in middle school.
- 1:18:24Speaker 10: Was he wearing adult diapers?
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: No, but he's the guy that's like, you want to
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: do a survey?
- 1:18:29Speaker 10: Is he really skinny?
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: Yeah, he's really skinny. He has black hair, and he
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: looks retarded. He asked me some questions.
- 1:18:34Speaker 10: I went in there and took one about the... Nail-less
- 1:18:37Speaker 10: picture hangers.
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: Did you get money for it?
- 1:18:40Speaker 10: I got $ 7.
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: Yeah, Jessica needed $ 10. I was like, go talk to Abe.
- 1:18:46Speaker 4: He'll give you $ 10 if you take a survey.
- 1:18:48Speaker 10: I was like, it's easy.
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: It's like, a perfect solution to your problem. She goes,
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: I don't want to talk to him.
- 1:18:53Speaker 10: He's creepy.
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: I was like, I made out with him. She was like,
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: that was a long time ago. I was like, so.
- 1:18:57Speaker 10: Did you get money for that, too?
- 1:18:58Speaker 8: No.
- 1:18:59Speaker 4: And she.
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: I was like, what are you trying to say? I
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: was like, are you dissing me for making out with
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: this guy? He's like, no, I'm just saying he's creepy now.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: You made out with the survey guy at the mall.
- 1:19:13Speaker 11: I can't hang out with you anymore.
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: He was like 11.
- 1:19:17Speaker 11: Dude, he had a job already. Come on. You better
- 1:19:21Speaker 11: hang on to that guy. He is going places.
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: $ 10 a survey.
- 1:19:24Speaker 10: That's good. I got $ 7 if I would hang photos
- 1:19:26Speaker 10: on the wall. It was like the sticky stuff instead
- 1:19:29Speaker 10: of nails. I'm like, no, but okay.
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: Is that all you had to do? Like, answer one question?
- 1:19:36Speaker 10: No, I had to answer, like, a whole series. I
- 1:19:37Speaker 10: had to pick off a wall what I would buy
- 1:19:39Speaker 10: if I was going to buy them. Which I prefer better?
- 1:19:41Speaker 10: Which packaging? I was like, the clean ones or the
- 1:19:43Speaker 10: white ones? It's like I'm behind a picture. I don't
- 1:19:46Speaker 10: know what color they're going to be behind.
- 1:19:47Speaker 16: Picture?
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: Who cares?
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: Yeah. He did a lot of cocaine, so I don't
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: even think he remembers me, so.
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: In middle school?
- 1:19:57Speaker 11: How do you think he had that job and his
- 1:20:00Speaker 11: middle school career going at once?
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: I mean, I've been out of middle school for a
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: really long time.
- 1:20:06Speaker 11: Now, guys. Two whole years.
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: A lot of things have happened since then. He got
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: a drug problem and I guess got clean enough to
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: work his mall job.
- 1:20:14Speaker 10: How clean do you have to be to work at
- 1:20:16Speaker 10: the mall?
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: He's got his shit together more than me.
- 1:20:18Speaker 11: That's true. Maybe you should start doing cocaine.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: I'm working up in the world.
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: I'm taking cocaine.
- 1:20:27Speaker 11: We're now seeking donations to pay for Greg's cocaine addiction.
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: So that I can get a job at the mall.
- 1:20:33Speaker 10: And ask questions about adult diapers.
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: What's my mom... went to this thrift store and she
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: saw these adult diapers and she didn't buy them. But
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: then the next day I was going to the thrift
- 1:20:45Speaker 4: store and she's like, Hey, Hey, pick up those adult
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: diapers from me.
- 1:20:48Speaker 10: I was like, fuck you.
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: No, I'm not buying adult diapers from the thrift store.
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: And I'm not buying adult diapers for somebody else.
- 1:20:54Speaker 10: Get your own.
- 1:20:55Speaker 11: That says so much about your mother.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: Is she probably just like, too inconvenienced to get up.
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: Well no sometimes she'll be really drunk or like.
- 1:21:07Speaker 11: Sometimes oh this is so much better no let me.
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: Tell let me tell the story is it gonna get
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: better no yeah maybe once I feel like I probably
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: already told this show on here Once my mom bought me,
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: I used to collect like velvet Jesus paintings. I think
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: everybody knows that at this point. But once this lady
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: was peddling stuff at a bar and they were like
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: LED light Jesus paintings. And my mom bought me a
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: couple of them. And it was at the biker bar
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: down the street from my house. And she was like, hey,
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: come get these.
- 1:21:39Speaker 10: And I'm like, okay.
- 1:21:40Speaker 4: And then I get there and she won't get off
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: her stool.
- 1:21:42Speaker 10: I was like.
- 1:21:44Speaker 4: I don't want to go in.
- 1:21:45Speaker 10: Bring him out to me. And she's like, I can't.
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: I peed my pants. But when I got there, she was, like,
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: sitting and still karaoke-ing a Bob Seger song.
- 1:21:53Speaker 10: I was like....
- 1:21:56Speaker 11: She has different priorities than you and I.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: Wasn't this an episode of... Yeah, what was that? Raising Hope?
- 1:22:02Speaker 10: So how's the dolphin rug do?
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: It smells like mildew.
- 1:22:10Speaker 10: Aw. Yeah. But.
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: But I was like, when you pee your pants, you
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: leave the bar.
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: No, you sing out of Bob Seger. You've got to
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: finish that Bob Seger.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: You've got to be like a rock.
- 1:22:22Speaker 10: If you stay in there long enough, everybody's going to know.
- 1:22:24Speaker 11: If you stay in there long enough, it's not wet anymore.
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: It's true. It dries out.
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: I mean, she has COPD, so she coughs a lot,
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: so that makes her pee her pants.
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: You just spill beer on you.
- 1:22:35Speaker 10: You go, whoops.
- 1:22:36Speaker 11: I need another beer. I am so clumsy.
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: And I did not pee my pants.
- 1:22:43Speaker 11: Good thing I didn't also pee my pants.
- 1:22:45Speaker 10: I would never do anything to ruin our friendship.
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: Jessica and I say that at least once a week.
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: And then we'll see that guy. He was in the
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: Muppet movie. Every time I see him anywhere, I'm like,
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: I would never do anything to ruin our friendship. Like,
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: poop my pants. And everyone's just like.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: My name's Brian.
- 1:23:04Speaker 10: I like to skateboard.
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: I love that word.
- 1:23:09Speaker 14: Oh, God.
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: Yeah, he said everything now. I love that guy.
- 1:23:17Speaker 10: I mean, I was like.
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: I was literally sitting in the.
- 1:23:20Speaker 10: You're getting four episodes out of this one.
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: I was sitting in the theater next to a... My boyfriend,
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: on Thanksgiving Day, watching the Muppet movie, and then that
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: guy comes on the screen briefly, and I look at
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: him and I say, I would never do anything to
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: ruin our friendship, like poop my pants. And everyone's like, what?
- 1:23:37Speaker 11: We brought our children here.
- 1:23:39Speaker 4: God.
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: You know, how can he have such a... Because he's
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: respected by rappers as almost not.
- 1:23:50Speaker 10: Now....
- 1:23:53Speaker 11: Only because I think he's successful anyway.
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 1:23:56Speaker 11: I think that's how popularity goes in general.
- 1:23:59Speaker 4: Yeah, you can.
- 1:24:00Speaker 11: Because he... I mean, most of his raps are how
- 1:24:02Speaker 11: he used to be made fun of.
- 1:24:03Speaker 16: Right.
- 1:24:03Speaker 11: So, I mean... He's a rapper?
- 1:24:05Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:24:06Speaker 4: Oh, I didn't know that. I just know that he's
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: like an actor.
- 1:24:09Speaker 11: He is everything. He's a writer. He's an actor. He's
- 1:24:12Speaker 11: a comedian. He's a singer. Slash rapper. You name it.
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: He's everything.
- 1:24:20Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:24:20Speaker 11: Candice? Not sure how that led to there, but thank you.
- 1:24:25Speaker 4: I don't know how we started talking about my mom
- 1:24:27Speaker 4: peeing her pants.
- 1:24:29Speaker 11: Let's not retrace our steps.
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: And then me making out with some guy.
- 1:24:35Speaker 11: No, here we go again. Stop it.
- 1:24:38Speaker 10: Next one.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: Next, next, next.
- 1:24:41Speaker 11: The other ones were shorter. We had one from Kara
- 1:24:44Speaker 11: that actually said the interview was fantastic, so that was
- 1:24:47Speaker 11: kind of cool. It's good that once again we Occasionally,
- 1:24:50Speaker 11: turn in some decent interviews. What another? You took pictures
- 1:24:56Speaker 11: of that one.
- 1:24:56Speaker 10: Did I?
- 1:24:57Speaker 11: I've got stalkery pictures of me talking to him that
- 1:25:00Speaker 11: you took. Michael Kinworth. We'll talk after the show. And
- 1:25:08Speaker 11: then we also heard from Troy. This one, I've talked
- 1:25:10Speaker 11: to Troy quite a bit online a few times now,
- 1:25:13Speaker 11: so he's actually really great, but This, I didn't know
- 1:25:17Speaker 11: if I told you guys this. This was when we
- 1:25:20Speaker 11: ended up seeing him at Fright Night. And I think
- 1:25:22Speaker 11: I was there at the table. He wanted to meet everybody. And, like,
- 1:25:25Speaker 11: the one time I was there by myself, he came up.
- 1:25:28Speaker 11: But he said, I just thought this was very weird
- 1:25:31Speaker 11: when he emailed me. He said, I was just excited
- 1:25:33Speaker 11: to meet you in person. It was like meeting a celebrity.
- 1:25:36Speaker 11: I'm super glad you didn't charge me $ 20 either. I'm
- 1:25:38Speaker 11: just like.
- 1:25:43Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:25:44Speaker 11: Yeah, we pay celebrities to do that. Yeah, that's true.
- 1:25:49Speaker 11: Everybody else there was, I guess, you know.
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: We should set up a misty signature booth. Pictures of Greg. Yeah,
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: nobody would pay for that.
- 1:26:01Speaker 11: He just did a catalog post for you guys at home.
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: It's like the Tom Selleck Playboy.
- 1:26:06Speaker 11: No, it was sort of the Sears sweater collection.
- 1:26:11Speaker 10: We should send out Christmas cards to our real good fans.
- 1:26:13Speaker 11: Ah, see, we're taking that photo tonight. Anyway, so, yeah.
- 1:26:17Speaker 11: And Randy would get one. Yeah, based on who gave
- 1:26:21Speaker 11: us feedback this week, Randy would get one.
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: Well, he said just jerky.
- 1:26:24Speaker 11: Yeah, I know, so Randy would get one. But, again,
- 1:26:29Speaker 11: everybody else, we're glad.
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: I have a picture of me giving Randy the machetes.
- 1:26:34Speaker 11: I sent it out to the secret circle. You're just
- 1:26:36Speaker 11: not on the secret circle.
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: You're not on the secret circle.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: I was the one who made the fucking machete. You
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: can't send me the damn picture.
- 1:26:42Speaker 11: I sent Randy one. What the fuck? I can send
- 1:26:47Speaker 11: it over if you'd like.
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: Yes, I would like.
- 1:26:50Speaker 11: Okay. We can do that. For $ 20. Oh, Lord. So, yeah.
- 1:26:58Speaker 11: He says, your show is great and I'm a huge fan.
- 1:27:01Speaker 11: Thanks for making my drive and jog time so much fun. So,
- 1:27:04Speaker 11: Who said that? That was Troy. Thank you, Troy. And
- 1:27:08Speaker 11: I told him if he gets to this area, he
- 1:27:10Speaker 11: can sit in with us because he's not too far.
- 1:27:13Speaker 11: He's within driving distance. So that was most of the... Well, no.
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: There's one coming.
- 1:27:18Speaker 11: But the next one is audio. So this one. I'll
- 1:27:22Speaker 11: let you guys decide if you want to play all
- 1:27:25Speaker 11: of this. If you go by what this person says,
- 1:27:29Speaker 11: there's instructions. But I'll let you guys decide what you
- 1:27:31Speaker 11: want to.
- 1:27:32Speaker 14: Do with it.
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: Here's the story of a guy named Brian.
- 1:27:40Speaker 13: Who is sitting watching movies all alone.
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: Oh, fuck that.
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: It's an oop-pah band.
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: It's the best I could do on short notice. Hey,
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: it's Randy.
- 1:27:50Speaker 4: And Lisa.
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: Well, we figured we'd call in and congratulate you and
- 1:27:54Speaker 6: tell you guys once again how wonderful you are and
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: probably address some specific things. So, first of all, Horror
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: Hound recap. Yes, Jay is the best friend I will
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: ever have in this lifetime. Yes, I hugged Misty and lived.
- 1:28:12Speaker 6: I've done a lot of crazy shit in my life.
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: I went through the self-destructive adrenaline junkie phase many years ago,
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: and it took me right back there. It was like
- 1:28:23Speaker 6: staring death in the face. And, you know, I've jumped
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: out of airplanes and other kind of crazy shit, but...
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: you know, right there, I knew that like at any
- 1:28:33Speaker 6: moment it could end for me. So, you know, I've
- 1:28:36Speaker 6: been there and I'm, back from the edge, and life
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: has new meaning. So, let's see. Lucy, meeting Hershey, you
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: have the soul of a butterfly. I'm sorry, we didn't
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: get enough time. I was running around, and I really
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: kind of regret that. Greg, you are wonderful. You're a...
- 1:28:59Speaker 6: The only thing keeping us from being like real people
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: friends is about a thousand miles, but we'll work on that. Um,
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: I'm not really sure that Fred's even real. Um, he's
- 1:29:11Speaker 6: like a protocol droid, like with a virus, the kind
- 1:29:14Speaker 6: of shit that you come up with Fred terrifies me,
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: but it is, it's wonderful. I think if you guys
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: as downloadable opinionated sea monkeys and you make my life wonderful, um,
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: let's see Marlena, uh, I can't believe that you exist.
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: You need your own comic book. You need your own sitcom.
- 1:29:37Speaker 6: It would have to be on, like, Showtime because it
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: would be a little too skeevy and off-budget for HBO.
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: But it would need to be just the kind of
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: things that go on in your life. Don't make me
- 1:29:49Speaker 6: believe in magic. So, let's see. Brian, you're the one
- 1:29:54Speaker 6: who's brought us this for 150 episodes. And through... through
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: hardware failures and staff changes, and I thank you for
- 1:30:05Speaker 6: bringing this to us. So, let's see, a couple of
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: other thoughts. I did want to recommend a movie because
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: I recommended the last one. I think I called in
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: with Dear Zachary, and this is the anti-movie of that.
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: It's playing on Netflix Instant, and it's called Buck, which
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: is a wonderful documentary that is sort of life-affirming and
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: interesting and colorful, and you walk away smarter and wiser
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: and a better human being, which I can always make
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: do with that. I'm trying to think what else I
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: have to dump on you. 150 episodes.
- 1:30:39Speaker 10: Wow.
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: That's awesome. Almost as awesome as Misty. I think that's
- 1:30:44Speaker 6: about it. I don't want to ramble on too much.
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: I'll actually put something together for you. Christmas is kicking
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: my ass. You can ask Misty about that. I hope
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: you're all well. I wanted to let you know that
- 1:30:56Speaker 6: Lisa and I are planning to come out there, whatever
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: that convention is, around last week of June, early July.
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: And I'd like to tell other listeners that these people
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: that you're listening to are as wonderful and warm and
- 1:31:11Speaker 6: welcoming as friends, as anybody you could hope to meet.
- 1:31:15Speaker 6: So if you ever get the chance, I would definitely
- 1:31:18Speaker 6: recommend you contact them, Mark. Get to know him, whatever
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: you can do. My life's a lot better for it.
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: You guys, I'd say have a good night, but I
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: don't know what the hell time it is when you're
- 1:31:28Speaker 6: going to play this. So have a good fill-in-the-blank. You know,
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: Merry Kwanzaa.
- 1:31:33Speaker 11: Ha ha, Merry Kwanzaa. See, he likes Kwanzaa.
- 1:31:36Speaker 10: Did he get cut off?
- 1:31:36Speaker 11: Yeah, he got cut off.
- 1:31:38Speaker 10: He acts like he's never hugged me before. That's at
- 1:31:41Speaker 10: least the third time that he has hugged me, and
- 1:31:43Speaker 10: he has not died at any point during this.
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: But you had a segment called Celebrities Misty's Kill.
- 1:31:54Speaker 11: Since we're having the flashback here, yeah, that's been quite
- 1:31:57Speaker 11: a while ago. We've retired that one since then.
- 1:32:00Speaker 10: I like how everybody else is all like, Lucy's all...
- 1:32:04Speaker 10: butterfly-like or whatever, and Marlene is all wonderful, and Misty,
- 1:32:08Speaker 10: I didn't die.
- 1:32:10Speaker 11: Well, that was actually going to be, now that's actually
- 1:32:13Speaker 11: pretty accurate, because... The wrap-up there at the end, he
- 1:32:16Speaker 11: was telling people how great we are and they should
- 1:32:19Speaker 11: go out of their way to meet us and get
- 1:32:21Speaker 11: in contact with us. I really don't want that. I
- 1:32:23Speaker 11: was like, except for Misty. I was like, if I
- 1:32:25Speaker 11: were you guys, I probably wouldn't do that. No good
- 1:32:28Speaker 11: will come of it.
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: Don't run up and hug her.
- 1:32:30Speaker 11: Definitely don't run up and hug her.
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: You don't want people at some of these conventions thinking
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: they can come up and hug you.
- 1:32:35Speaker 10: No.
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: I don't want.
- 1:32:36Speaker 4: Them to think... I mean, I'm pretty like.
- 1:32:39Speaker 10: I mean.
- 1:32:40Speaker 4: Actually, at conventions, Misty's way friendlier than I am.
- 1:32:42Speaker 10: It depends on the situation and who the person is.
- 1:32:44Speaker 10: If they're sweaty and stinky, no.
- 1:32:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't like these fuckers hugging me.
- 1:32:48Speaker 17: No.
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: These fuckers are the people listening.
- 1:32:52Speaker 11: Not you fuckers. Those other fuckers. Those other stinky people.
- 1:32:57Speaker 11: You guys shower and use adult diapers and you're totally fresh.
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: You guys are clean and wonderful. I'm not talking about you.
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: Marlene is pretty low here on the... qualifications. You have to,
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: you know, snort cocaine, work in the mall, and.
- 1:33:14Speaker 11: Yeah, you guys aren't classy enough.
- 1:33:17Speaker 4: Hey, that was the standards I had when I was 12.
- 1:33:20Speaker 3: And they're even more.
- 1:33:22Speaker 8: Actually....
- 1:33:26Speaker 4: My standards have gone up since then at least a
- 1:33:29Speaker 4: little bit.
- 1:33:29Speaker 10: At least a little bit.
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: Hey, your boyfriend doesn't work at the mall.
- 1:33:34Speaker 4: He doesn't have a job.
- 1:33:37Speaker 11: Well, alright, they've sort of leveled out. But whatever.
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: They're just different standards. They're kind of sideways.
- 1:33:45Speaker 4: He got a job until last week, to be fair.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: He just decided to not go anymore.
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: He just decided the whole working thing's not his deal.
- 1:33:56Speaker 11: Oh, Lord. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:34:00Speaker 10: Randy's awesome. I want to talk about how awesome Randy
- 1:34:02Speaker 10: is for a second. He is the best fan that
- 1:34:04Speaker 10: I've ever met.
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: Excuse me.
- 1:34:06Speaker 10: And he's only hugged me because there's been warning.
- 1:34:09Speaker 11: He knows better. He doesn't want to, like, pull back
- 1:34:11Speaker 11: a bloody stump. I mean, he knows better.
- 1:34:14Speaker 10: I think that has been threatened.
- 1:34:16Speaker 11: Probably.
- 1:34:18Speaker 10: Motherfucker, touch me again, you will pull back a fucking gnome.
- 1:34:21Speaker 10: Randy's awesome. Lisa's awesome. We should make sure Lisa's mentioned
- 1:34:25Speaker 10: because Lisa's fucking awesome.
- 1:34:26Speaker 11: Well, Lisa also said hello. You guys didn't hear it. So, yes,
- 1:34:28Speaker 11: Lisa's awesome.
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: Lisa's the one who keeps Randy in check.
- 1:34:33Speaker 10: Somebody's got to do it.
- 1:34:35Speaker 3: She's Randy's sponsor.
- 1:34:37Speaker 11: Rightfully so.
- 1:34:39Speaker 10: Handler.
- 1:34:41Speaker 11: Even he tells scary stories of his past. I think
- 1:34:44Speaker 11: it's all come together now that Lisa's involved.
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: We all need somebody to wrangle us in.
- 1:34:49Speaker 10: I keep your ass in check.
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: I thought it was the other way around.
- 1:34:52Speaker 11: I think it's a little of both, actually.
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: Oh, Lord.
- 1:34:57Speaker 11: So we didn't even finish, actually. Let's get the other
- 1:35:00Speaker 11: half of Randy's now pissed off because he got cut
- 1:35:02Speaker 11: off message.
- 1:35:04Speaker 6: Oh, I knew I was rambling. That fucking thing cut
- 1:35:06Speaker 6: me off. I went way too long. Edit that shit down, Brian.
- 1:35:09Speaker 6: Don't play it.
- 1:35:10Speaker 19: Edit it.
- 1:35:11Speaker 6: There's no point in playing that horrible oompa thing from
- 1:35:14Speaker 6: the Brady Bunch I started with. It was shitty. I
- 1:35:16Speaker 6: wouldn't have made it past my first cut. Kill it, Brian.
- 1:35:19Speaker 10: Please.
- 1:35:20Speaker 6: Kill it. Randy's awesome.
- 1:35:23Speaker 10: Bye.
- 1:35:26Speaker 11: Okay, so there you go. So I'll leave it up
- 1:35:29Speaker 11: to you guys. I liked it myself. It was as
- 1:35:35Speaker 11: goofy as the rest of our show is. I think
- 1:35:37Speaker 11: it seems fine to me. As long as he doesn't
- 1:35:40Speaker 11: have a major problem with it.
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: I'll be fine.
- 1:35:43Speaker 11: I think he'll be fine.
- 1:35:44Speaker 2: At this point, I think he's an ex-officio member anyway.
- 1:35:48Speaker 11: We've included him as often as we can. He's invited
- 1:35:53Speaker 11: to sit in every week. If we can get past
- 1:35:55Speaker 11: that damn thousand mile thing, he would be sitting here
- 1:35:58Speaker 11: now as far as I'm concerned. Alright, so here was
- 1:36:02Speaker 11: the other one. Milena, this one I think was sort
- 1:36:06Speaker 11: of directly in result from either you or then the
- 1:36:11Speaker 11: next week when we were sitting there with Lucy, she
- 1:36:13Speaker 11: sort of brought up the exact same question. So, to
- 1:36:17Speaker 11: both of you, we got this letter this past week.
- 1:36:19Speaker 11: A couple weeks back, On the podcast, you guys mentioned
- 1:36:22Speaker 11: Steve Guttenberg. His appeal, and basically, WTF happened to it.
- 1:36:28Speaker 11: I can clearly pinpoint the moment he dropped off the
- 1:36:30Speaker 11: favorable radar, or at least pissed off so many people
- 1:36:33Speaker 11: simultaneously that he could never recover career-wise. I can pinpoint
- 1:36:38Speaker 11: the exact moment. As you well know, Steve was riding
- 1:36:41Speaker 11: high in the 80s. He had the Police Academy series,
- 1:36:44Speaker 11: which he left early enough to not damage his career,
- 1:36:46Speaker 11: and moved on to a more legit fare like Cocoon
- 1:36:49Speaker 11: and Three Minute Baby. But in 1989, he and his
- 1:36:52Speaker 11: people made the decision that was such a boneheaded move
- 1:36:55Speaker 11: that it essentially killed his career overnight. After starring in
- 1:36:58Speaker 11: these prestigious films, he next starred in a high-slash-low-concept comedy
- 1:37:03Speaker 11: that was supposed to capitalize on the Australia mania that
- 1:37:06Speaker 11: dominated cinema in the 80s, but way too late.
- 1:37:10Speaker 4: There was Australia mania?
- 1:37:12Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:37:12Speaker 2: Crocodile Dundee. Freaking crazy.
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: Duracell battery. No, Energizer. I'm sorry. He was also on.
- 1:37:20Speaker 11: Knock it off my shoulder.
- 1:37:22Speaker 14: Oh, crap.
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: What was that show?
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: He was on The Highwayman, which may have went for
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: one season, but I seriously doubt it.
- 1:37:29Speaker 3: Anybody remember The Highwayman?
- 1:37:31Speaker 11: I do.
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: The Highwayman was awesome. I always wanted this rig that
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: turned into a helicopter. It was like Mask, only bigger.
- 1:37:37Speaker 11: Kind of, yeah.
- 1:37:39Speaker 2: Reeler.
- 1:37:39Speaker 3: Reel her, yeah.
- 1:37:42Speaker 11: So, he says, when Mad Max came out in 79,
- 1:37:45Speaker 11: it took the world by storm. It set off a
- 1:37:47Speaker 11: cinema movement wherein all things Australian were awesome for a
- 1:37:50Speaker 11: short time. But as you know, the cultural zeitgeist changes
- 1:37:54Speaker 11: every seven years, and by 1989, attempting to cash in
- 1:37:57Speaker 11: on that phenomenon was already two years too late. The
- 1:38:01Speaker 11: movie was Don't Tell Her It's Me, a comedy in
- 1:38:04Speaker 11: which Steve pretends to be an Aussie biker who dresses
- 1:38:07Speaker 11: exactly like Mad Max, In order to win over an
- 1:38:10Speaker 11: unsuspecting Jamie Girtz. Yeah, this is the 80s.
- 1:38:13Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:38:13Speaker 10: Whatever happened to Jamie Girtz?
- 1:38:16Speaker 11: She's on TV now. Actually, I just saw her on
- 1:38:19Speaker 11: one of those talk shows in the middle of the day.
- 1:38:21Speaker 11: She's pushing some new thing. I think she's producing now.
- 1:38:23Speaker 11: She's still out there. She had that weird sitcom like
- 1:38:26Speaker 11: five years ago. Anyway, off of the Jamie Girtz story.
- 1:38:30Speaker 6: There.
- 1:38:31Speaker 11: The problem with this is that her character knew him
- 1:38:33Speaker 11: before he dons the leather and the accent, so basically
- 1:38:36Speaker 11: the whole film seems to be based on the notion
- 1:38:38Speaker 11: that her character was stupid enough to fall for it.
- 1:38:41Speaker 11: So here's where things go horribly wrong. A bad comedy
- 1:38:44Speaker 11: is easy enough to dismiss, but not when its trailer
- 1:38:46Speaker 11: campaign is so ill-timed that it makes the movie look
- 1:38:49Speaker 11: like a pariah. You see, the trailer for Don't Tell
- 1:38:52Speaker 11: Her It's Me began playing attached to the beginning of
- 1:38:54Speaker 11: Lethal Weapon 2. I'm not kidding. As the lights go
- 1:38:57Speaker 11: down and the shots of anticipation begin, everyone waiting with
- 1:39:01Speaker 11: bated breath, For Riggs and Murtaugh to kick some ass again,
- 1:39:04Speaker 11: the trailer for a movie plays in which some dorky
- 1:39:06Speaker 11: schlub is imitating, poorly, the hero of the movie we're
- 1:39:10Speaker 11: all about to watch. Top that off with the fact
- 1:39:13Speaker 11: that Mad Mel had just as many, if not more,
- 1:39:16Speaker 11: female fans than male, his trailer insulting them to their
- 1:39:20Speaker 11: very core. This trailer basically said that all women are
- 1:39:23Speaker 11: stupid enough to fall for a trick like that, and
- 1:39:26Speaker 11: that it's perfectly okay for men to do something so
- 1:39:28Speaker 11: deceitful as long as it's in the name of love.
- 1:39:31Speaker 11: About 10 seconds into that trailer, comments like, the fuck
- 1:39:34Speaker 11: is this? And fuck that guy could be heard before
- 1:39:37Speaker 11: Lethal Weapon 2 even started playing. Steve Guttenberg's career was over. Wow.
- 1:39:43Speaker 11: Sounds like a movie we need to watch. Now that
- 1:39:47Speaker 11: everyone hates.
- 1:39:48Speaker 4: Mel Gibson, does that mean Steve Guttenberg can come back?
- 1:39:50Speaker 11: He might have a comeback in the works. You never know.
- 1:39:53Speaker 3: Don't tell her it's me, too. Or don't tell her
- 1:39:56Speaker 3: it's me again.
- 1:39:57Speaker 11: Again. It's time for a reboot on Don't Tell Her
- 1:40:00Speaker 11: It's Me.
- 1:40:01Speaker 4: I mean, now, really, Mel Gibson is, like, one of
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: the most hated men.
- 1:40:04Speaker 11: Yeah, definitely these days.
- 1:40:06Speaker 4: So, like, Steve Guttenberg.
- 1:40:07Speaker 11: Can come back.
- 1:40:09Speaker 10: He tried to kind of come back. He was on
- 1:40:10Speaker 10: Veronica Mars.
- 1:40:11Speaker 4: And Party Down.
- 1:40:11Speaker 11: And Party Down. And there's another one he turned up
- 1:40:14Speaker 11: on lately. I mean, he keeps turning in decent little, like,
- 1:40:17Speaker 11: minor roles on, like, TV now. So he could, you know,
- 1:40:21Speaker 11: get a semi-normal career again.
- 1:40:23Speaker 4: Didn't he play Kristen Ritter's dad on Veronica Mars?
- 1:40:26Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:40:27Speaker 10: I love Kristen. He played the child molester, remember?
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: That's a career killer. That's not really going to save you.
- 1:40:34Speaker 11: He was molesting Beaver.
- 1:40:37Speaker 4: I don't remember that.
- 1:40:39Speaker 10: That's why Beaver went crazy.
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: Spoiler alert. Spoiler alert.
- 1:40:44Speaker 10: Now you void the right for spoiler alert when a
- 1:40:47Speaker 10: show's been off the air for I don't know how
- 1:40:48Speaker 10: many fucking years.
- 1:40:50Speaker 11: There's plenty of shows I haven't watched yet. I'm waiting.
- 1:40:53Speaker 10: No, it deserves to get spoiled. I can understand if
- 1:40:55Speaker 10: it's been like a week. No, it's been fucking years.
- 1:40:57Speaker 4: It's like the next episode of like True Blood or
- 1:40:59Speaker 4: whatever is popular.
- 1:40:59Speaker 10: It's been years. You don't get to know.
- 1:41:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:41:02Speaker 11: What if somebody spoiled like a season four episode of
- 1:41:05Speaker 11: Supernatural for you?
- 1:41:06Speaker 10: I've already seen it.
- 1:41:07Speaker 11: But before you watched it. Like a couple of months ago.
- 1:41:10Speaker 10: Bitch, I get on one and I read spoilers myself.
- 1:41:13Speaker 2: As soon as she.
- 1:41:15Speaker 11: Spoil your own shit. She spoils her own shit.
- 1:41:18Speaker 2: As soon as we're watching an episode, she's back in
- 1:41:20Speaker 2: the computer room and she's like, oh my god, oh
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: my god, this is gonna happen next.
- 1:41:23Speaker 3: I'm like, shut up!
- 1:41:25Speaker 10: You're ruining it for me!
- 1:41:28Speaker 13: Winchester's sitting there and she's like she's like a character
- 1:41:35Speaker 13: like get shot and she's like oh don't worry he's
- 1:41:37Speaker 13: not gonna die he's coming back in.
- 1:41:38Speaker 2: The next season i'm like oh okay.
- 1:41:41Speaker 11: Winchester's next to you with his little werewolf fingers in
- 1:41:43Speaker 11: his ears stop ruining it for me we're watching these
- 1:41:47Speaker 11: together damn you Okay, back to the list. He says,
- 1:41:52Speaker 11: not really a man's man per se, Steve Guttenberg relied
- 1:41:55Speaker 11: almost entirely on his appeal to women as the harmless,
- 1:41:58Speaker 11: cute comedy guy in order to be an A-list player.
- 1:42:01Speaker 11: The second he appeared on screen as a slimeball, it
- 1:42:03Speaker 11: was over. Regardless of whether or not he really was
- 1:42:06Speaker 11: in the actual movie, the trailer was good enough to
- 1:42:09Speaker 11: turf the guy for good. So that's what happened to
- 1:42:11Speaker 11: Steve Guttenberg. He says, the trailer might be on YouTube,
- 1:42:15Speaker 11: and you'll see what I mean. So, that is actually
- 1:42:17Speaker 11: from Devin Richards. Awesome. He says you can check him
- 1:42:20Speaker 11: out on IMDb. He has actually been in stuff. So
- 1:42:24Speaker 11: he's got his own career. He says you can find him.
- 1:42:27Speaker 10: Has he done anything with Michael Madsen?
- 1:42:31Speaker 11: If so, he probably wouldn't want to admit to it
- 1:42:33Speaker 11: at this point. But yeah, he's got Indiegogo.
- 1:42:39Speaker 3: You know the Waco brothers.
- 1:42:41Speaker 10: No.
- 1:42:41Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:42:44Speaker 11: He's got Indiegogo and Kickstarter campaigns going for his own film.
- 1:42:47Speaker 11: So yeah, go find him and you can donate to him.
- 1:42:49Speaker 11: And donate to us while you're at it, dammit. Do
- 1:42:51Speaker 11: we have a Kickstarter thing? If you set it up.
- 1:42:55Speaker 11: We've got PayPal and nobody.
- 1:42:56Speaker 10: We can send out Christmas cards to people that actually
- 1:42:58Speaker 10: send us money.
- 1:42:59Speaker 11: There you go. I'm all for that.
- 1:43:00Speaker 10: Christmas cards with us in front of the tree.
- 1:43:02Speaker 11: I've got a very special shot I think we should do.
- 1:43:05Speaker 11: I think you have to donate a whole lot of
- 1:43:10Speaker 11: money for that one. I wouldn't pay for that. Well,
- 1:43:12Speaker 11: not if most of us were in it.
- 1:43:14Speaker 10: I asked Brian if we could all have matching sweaters.
- 1:43:16Speaker 10: That would be really awesome.
- 1:43:18Speaker 3: I would chip in on a sweater.
- 1:43:19Speaker 11: I've got a better one actually. So you guys send
- 1:43:23Speaker 11: money and we'll send you that shot because it's going
- 1:43:25Speaker 11: to be awesome. So yeah, other than that, thank you
- 1:43:28Speaker 11: to Devin. And yeah, I think he's pinned it down now.
- 1:43:31Speaker 11: We've been trying to... figure it out for years now.
- 1:43:34Speaker 11: What the hell happened to Steve Guttenberg?
- 1:43:35Speaker 10: I never really cared.
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: I don't know if anybody did.
- 1:43:38Speaker 11: Maybe that's why nobody bothered to pin it down.
- 1:43:41Speaker 2: After Police Academy, I just really could.
- 1:43:44Speaker 3: Give two shits less about Steve Guttenberg. Short Circuit, was
- 1:43:46Speaker 3: that after?
- 1:43:48Speaker 11: Yeah, but it wasn't. That was when he went sort
- 1:43:50Speaker 11: of legit, but he wasn't what sold that movie. Johnny
- 1:43:54Speaker 11: Five was the star of that movie.
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: After Johnny Five and Ally.
- 1:43:57Speaker 11: Sheedy, then it was like, oh yeah, Guttenberg. That was
- 1:43:59Speaker 11: when I still liked Ally Sheedy.
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: And who was the Indian guy?
- 1:44:02Speaker 11: Oh, that's because he's not Indian, by the way. It's
- 1:44:04Speaker 11: Fisher Stevens, who is totally white.
- 1:44:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right.
- 1:44:07Speaker 11: He's not white.
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: What?
- 1:44:08Speaker 11: Massively racist, if you want to look at it that way.
- 1:44:11Speaker 11: That's right. He's white?
- 1:44:13Speaker 10: He's white. You're going to lose mine. Stand back.
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: Stand back.
- 1:44:16Speaker 2: What, did he put shoe polish on his face?
- 1:44:18Speaker 19: No.
- 1:44:19Speaker 11: That's the thing. You don't have to do that much
- 1:44:21Speaker 11: in Hollywood. All you have to do is do a
- 1:44:24Speaker 11: really bad accent and kind of wear the clothes.
- 1:44:27Speaker 2: I don't remember that.
- 1:44:29Speaker 11: He is not at all Indian as far as I know.
- 1:44:31Speaker 2: He was always Indian when I thought about it.
- 1:44:33Speaker 11: Damn it.
- 1:44:34Speaker 4: Everyone makes fun of the haji accent or what's his
- 1:44:41Speaker 4: face in The Simpsons?
- 1:44:43Speaker 10: What's his name?
- 1:44:44Speaker 11: Oh, the Apu? Yeah, Apu.
- 1:44:46Speaker 4: That is how, I mean, like, no offense if we
- 1:44:49Speaker 4: have any Indian listeners, that is how Indian people sound. Like,
- 1:44:53Speaker 4: every day when I'm listening to the news in my
- 1:44:55Speaker 4: car and they're, like, interviewing this, like, like, I listen
- 1:44:58Speaker 4: to BBC News a lot and there's always, like, an
- 1:45:00Speaker 4: Indian guy on the show and they're, like, interviewing somebody.
- 1:45:03Speaker 4: That is exactly, I'm like, these stereotypical accents are true.
- 1:45:07Speaker 4: Anytime they, like, interview an Indian person or, like, a
- 1:45:10Speaker 4: British person or, like, a German person or a Russian person,
- 1:45:13Speaker 4: They sound like the stereotypical accent.
- 1:45:15Speaker 11: It's an accent. I mean, you have that. I mean,
- 1:45:17Speaker 11: it's just gotten so blown out of proportion, the PC version.
- 1:45:21Speaker 11: I mean, there are things that people do that are
- 1:45:23Speaker 11: legitimately completely racist and completely, like, not cool the way
- 1:45:28Speaker 11: that they go about it. And then there's the other
- 1:45:31Speaker 11: hand where sort of we've overdone it, you know? We've
- 1:45:34Speaker 11: over-PC'd everything to the point that you can't actually, you know,
- 1:45:38Speaker 11: refer to someone from the country that they are or
- 1:45:41Speaker 11: the race that they are or whatever. It's just like, well,
- 1:45:43Speaker 11: how do you even describe anybody anymore if you can't
- 1:45:45Speaker 11: even refer to them? Or if, again, you're like quoting
- 1:45:48Speaker 11: them and saying it like they said it. I mean,
- 1:45:51Speaker 11: it's like, well, I'm not being a jerk. This is
- 1:45:53Speaker 11: how they sounded when they told me the story. You know,
- 1:45:55Speaker 11: it's like there's a fine line there. It's hard to
- 1:45:58Speaker 11: skate it. But at the same time, I think there's
- 1:46:00Speaker 11: something wrong about going too far in the other direction.
- 1:46:04Speaker 4: The other day, someone at work said something about like, oh,
- 1:46:07Speaker 4: that Mexican guy. And some other guy was like, dude,
- 1:46:11Speaker 4: because we have a Mexican dishwasher. And I was like,
- 1:46:13Speaker 4: he's from Mexico.
- 1:46:14Speaker 11: He knows he's Mexican.
- 1:46:15Speaker 4: I was like, he is a Mexican guy. There's nothing
- 1:46:17Speaker 4: wrong with that.
- 1:46:18Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: I was thinking about that the other day. Yeah, there
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: was like two guys named Dave.
- 1:46:23Speaker 3: Well, there's the black Dave and the white Dave.
- 1:46:25Speaker 2: And you're like, which Dave was it? Well, describe him.
- 1:46:28Speaker 2: You know, he's tall. He has dark hair.
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: Was he black?
- 1:46:31Speaker 10: Yes.
- 1:46:32Speaker 11: Let's go back to the chase. We know he's black.
- 1:46:35Speaker 11: We're not fooling anybody.
- 1:46:36Speaker 4: We have two Chris's at work. One Chris is white,
- 1:46:39Speaker 4: one Chris is black. And, you know, sometimes people call
- 1:46:42Speaker 4: the little one Little Chris, even though he's Black Chris.
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: Or sometimes they call one, like, Boss Chris and Dishwasher Chris.
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: But it's just like, there's Black Chris and there's White Chris.
- 1:46:53Speaker 10: You know, like.
- 1:46:54Speaker 11: It's like we're C-Lab every week.
- 1:46:57Speaker 3: It's just like.
- 1:46:58Speaker 4: Which one, like, does he have dark hair? Yes, they
- 1:47:01Speaker 4: both have dark hair.
- 1:47:02Speaker 10: Does he have brown eyes?
- 1:47:03Speaker 4: They both have brown eyes.
- 1:47:04Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:47:06Speaker 11: One's black.
- 1:47:07Speaker 3: He's wearing a watch.
- 1:47:08Speaker 11: I'm pretty sure he knows he's black.
- 1:47:10Speaker 16: It's okay.
- 1:47:10Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:47:12Speaker 4: Jesus.
- 1:47:13Speaker 11: So, yeah.
- 1:47:14Speaker 3: He's got on a red shirt.
- 1:47:15Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:47:17Speaker 11: And the thing is, I know we have listeners in India. So,
- 1:47:19Speaker 11: I mean, again, if you guys are listening and you...
- 1:47:22Speaker 11: Do we really?
- 1:47:23Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:47:24Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 1:47:25Speaker 11: According to the numbers, we do. Cool.
- 1:47:27Speaker 2: Hey, India's great. You guys are awesome.
- 1:47:29Speaker 11: Again, we're not, I mean, we don't have calls from
- 1:47:32Speaker 11: you guys. So, you know, as much as we like
- 1:47:34Speaker 11: the feedback we're getting from here, these are all boring
- 1:47:36Speaker 11: white people from America, usually.
- 1:47:38Speaker 10: Yeah, if you want to prove that you don't sound
- 1:47:39Speaker 10: like that. Yeah. Call in.
- 1:47:41Speaker 11: I mean, even if you do.
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: Thank you for keeping Royal Enfield alive. I know that
- 1:47:45Speaker 2: means absolutely nothing to nobody, but it means a lot
- 1:47:47Speaker 2: to me.
- 1:47:48Speaker 3: And call in and rip Fisher Stevens.
- 1:47:50Speaker 11: Then, I guess. Yeah, there you go.
- 1:47:52Speaker 3: Who's Fisher Stevens?
- 1:47:54Speaker 2: The guy that started this conversation.
- 1:47:57Speaker 16: Oh, yeah.
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 1:47:59Speaker 11: All right. Four years. We're going into four years. Jay
- 1:48:04Speaker 11: has Alzheimer's.
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: I've been punched in the head too many times, okay?
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: Jay is Dory from Finding Nemo.
- 1:48:12Speaker 10: I have no patience. I haven't killed him yet.
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: You gotta realize I'm one step away from Memento. You
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: haven't even seen that movie.
- 1:48:21Speaker 3: I don't have to. I'd forget it. He'd forget it.
- 1:48:25Speaker 3: He has seen it.
- 1:48:26Speaker 11: He's seen it every week of his life.
- 1:48:30Speaker 3: He has a tattoo. This is Watch Memento.
- 1:48:33Speaker 5: Oh, God.
- 1:48:35Speaker 11: Backwards.
- 1:48:36Speaker 3: I've got a notebook.
- 1:48:37Speaker 2: I've got a notebook at work of all my, of
- 1:48:41Speaker 2: everything I have, I have written down. And this is
- 1:48:44Speaker 2: stuff I do every day. It's written down in a
- 1:48:46Speaker 2: notebook with scribble drawings and stuff like that. Well, not
- 1:48:50Speaker 2: scribble drawings, because I'm actually a pretty decent artist. But
- 1:48:53Speaker 2: people at work, they're like, why do you have a notebook?
- 1:48:57Speaker 2: This is shit we do every day. I was like,
- 1:48:58Speaker 2: so I won't forget it. It's stuff that I need
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: to know.
- 1:49:00Speaker 3: I can't remember this stuff. I really can't.
- 1:49:03Speaker 10: Wow.
- 1:49:03Speaker 11: I'm about that bad with just normal, like, stupid, hey,
- 1:49:07Speaker 11: I have to go there at 2 o'clock tomorrow. But,
- 1:49:09Speaker 11: you know, the basic, like, goings on in my life,
- 1:49:12Speaker 11: I usually remember, it's the, like, oh, yeah, I got
- 1:49:14Speaker 11: to do that, I got to do that. So I'm
- 1:49:16Speaker 11: getting to the point I have to write stupid notes
- 1:49:18Speaker 11: about that stuff every day.
- 1:49:19Speaker 4: I forgot to go to my final.
- 1:49:21Speaker 3: Exam this morning.
- 1:49:23Speaker 11: Oops.
- 1:49:24Speaker 4: Actually, I didn't forget. I just had the wrong time.
- 1:49:27Speaker 11: See, you got to write that shit down. I had
- 1:49:29Speaker 11: a paper. On your arm.
- 1:49:30Speaker 4: No, I had a paper in my car. I just
- 1:49:33Speaker 4: misread it and memorized it wrong.
- 1:49:35Speaker 10: How do you misread 8 to 10?
- 1:49:39Speaker 4: Well, there was an alternate time slot for people who
- 1:49:41Speaker 4: were in French and it was for last Thursday.
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: Just show up and say you were in French.
- 1:49:47Speaker 10: Yeah, but it was on Thursday. Oh, Lord.
- 1:49:53Speaker 11: So, once again, thank you, Devin. I'm not sure how
- 1:49:57Speaker 11: most of the conversations we have get to the places
- 1:50:00Speaker 11: they go, but That's just why we don't get together.
- 1:50:03Speaker 3: It wouldn't be Movie Meltdown if we didn't do that.
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: We put the meltdown.
- 1:50:07Speaker 11: Yeah, there's the reason the show is Movie Meltdown. Oh, Lord.
- 1:50:13Speaker 4: Where we talk a little bit about movies and mostly
- 1:50:16Speaker 4: about other stuff.
- 1:50:16Speaker 11: Mostly get sidetracked and not even remember where we started.
- 1:50:19Speaker 3: We should be Movie Runaround.
- 1:50:24Speaker 10: We wouldn't be as awesome as we are if we
- 1:50:26Speaker 10: were any other way.
- 1:50:27Speaker 11: That's true. We're pretty damn awesome.
- 1:50:29Speaker 4: I would be really bored.
- 1:50:30Speaker 10: Actually, I probably would have quit this a long time ago.
- 1:50:32Speaker 10: I've tried to quit. He won't let me.
- 1:50:36Speaker 11: Damn straight. Oh, so yes, that was our feedback. Again,
- 1:50:41Speaker 11: we got the very specific stuff from Randy. Everybody else
- 1:50:44Speaker 11: was just sort of... Actually, we did just get the
- 1:50:46Speaker 11: Steve Guttenberg letter this past week. So thank you to
- 1:50:48Speaker 11: both of you and to everybody who's been writing in
- 1:50:51Speaker 11: the last few months. And we've just sort of collected
- 1:50:53Speaker 11: it up until we were all sitting here. So thank
- 1:50:55Speaker 11: you to everybody.
- 1:50:56Speaker 4: Yay!
- 1:50:57Speaker 11: Again, yeah, to everybody else out there listening, if you
- 1:51:00Speaker 11: haven't written in, if you haven't written in a long time,
- 1:51:02Speaker 11: if you haven't called in, you know, we.
- 1:51:04Speaker 2: Or if you're from other countries, we'd like to hear
- 1:51:06Speaker 2: from you.
- 1:51:06Speaker 11: Yeah, really, all we've gotten is America and Australia, definitely.
- 1:51:11Speaker 11: We might have gotten Canada.
- 1:51:13Speaker 7: Was it Steve Guttenberg doing an Australian accent?
- 1:51:17Speaker 11: I don't think that was Steve Guttenberg.
- 1:51:20Speaker 4: I want Steve Guttenberg to call him.
- 1:51:22Speaker 3: He could sit in on a show.
- 1:51:24Speaker 11: He could. He's thoroughly invited.
- 1:51:26Speaker 10: Acting!
- 1:51:29Speaker 2: An Australian child molester. Now see, he's ruined for life.
- 1:51:35Speaker 11: Thanks to Misty.
- 1:51:36Speaker 10: He's not really a child molester in real life. Veronica
- 1:51:39Speaker 10: Marzi is, goddammit. I'm so sensitive. I gotta be so
- 1:51:43Speaker 10: PC about it. You can't just call somebody a child
- 1:51:46Speaker 10: molester these days.
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: God!
- 1:51:48Speaker 11: This is when it's gone too far. So, thank you
- 1:51:52Speaker 11: to all the child molesters out there. Actually, we did
- 1:51:56Speaker 11: put out an advertisement for them to sponsor, like, two
- 1:51:59Speaker 11: weeks ago.
- 1:51:59Speaker 8: Child molesters?
- 1:52:00Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:52:01Speaker 11: That was Fred. Once again.
- 1:52:03Speaker 4: That's right.
- 1:52:04Speaker 10: What?
- 1:52:04Speaker 11: Of crazy shit that Fred says. Yep. That was one
- 1:52:07Speaker 11: of them.
- 1:52:08Speaker 10: I missed that.
- 1:52:09Speaker 11: I don't remember that.
- 1:52:11Speaker 10: I am not promoting child molestation in any way.
- 1:52:13Speaker 11: No, it's not funny. We may be joking about it,
- 1:52:17Speaker 11: but it's not funny.
- 1:52:17Speaker 10: It's no laughing matter, even though we're laughing. Because we're
- 1:52:20Speaker 10: bad people.
- 1:52:21Speaker 11: We kind of are, but I think at this point,
- 1:52:25Speaker 11: 150 episodes in, you probably know that. Yeah.
- 1:52:28Speaker 10: They should drag every child molester out into the street
- 1:52:31Speaker 10: and shoot them.
- 1:52:32Speaker 11: I'm up for that. As long as we get to
- 1:52:34Speaker 11: join in.
- 1:52:34Speaker 3: That would be too clean and easy.
- 1:52:36Speaker 10: They'd make it done and be over with.
- 1:52:38Speaker 3: They'd be tortured.
- 1:52:39Speaker 4: Beat them with maces.
- 1:52:41Speaker 11: So we're going to send the government in.
- 1:52:43Speaker 10: All right.
- 1:52:46Speaker 11: Thank you for the feedback. Please keep it coming.
- 1:52:49Speaker 4: Unless you're a child molester, then fuck off and don't bother.
- 1:52:53Speaker 11: But send money.
- 1:52:54Speaker 10: Yeah. I don't want child molester money.
- 1:52:57Speaker 11: We won't know. It's coming through the internet. We do
- 1:53:00Speaker 11: have our PayPal account. I'm leaving that alone. Moving on. Oh,
- 1:53:12Speaker 11: now we'll take some of that. That's hot. Again, we're
- 1:53:17Speaker 11: still fighting to keep it going here. If you do
- 1:53:20Speaker 11: want to send donations, we do appreciate that. I know
- 1:53:24Speaker 11: many shows out there actually get a nice little campaign
- 1:53:28Speaker 11: going and get people uh sending in money i would
- 1:53:31Speaker 11: be glad to be one of those shows so if
- 1:53:32Speaker 11: you guys can uh find a way to uh add
- 1:53:35Speaker 11: us to your christmas list hey.
- 1:53:37Speaker 10: We should send them christmas cards i'm all up for
- 1:53:39Speaker 10: that we should sign.
- 1:53:40Speaker 3: Them or if you're writing your will just include us
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: as a little bit a small percentage.
- 1:53:47Speaker 11: Okay try to screw your family out of most of
- 1:53:50Speaker 11: it and send it all to us. You can give
- 1:53:52Speaker 11: them the car or something, but cash... I don't know.
- 1:53:55Speaker 10: I could use a new car.
- 1:53:58Speaker 11: Any of the real assets you send to us and
- 1:54:00Speaker 11: give them... We're like your family.
- 1:54:03Speaker 3: You could even send us lottery tickets. That's okay.
- 1:54:05Speaker 11: We'll take it at this point.
- 1:54:09Speaker 10: Except for pennies. I don't like those. Don't send those.
- 1:54:11Speaker 7: Yeah, she's got a whole tirade about pennies. My in-laws
- 1:54:17Speaker 7: will take us to a place that has a table
- 1:54:20Speaker 7: that they love the restaurant and they have copper tables.
- 1:54:24Speaker 7: And I can't eat there because I hate the smell
- 1:54:26Speaker 7: of the table. And every single time I'm like, I can't,
- 1:54:30Speaker 7: I can't. And, you know, it's a free meal.
- 1:54:34Speaker 11: Send us free food. Randy sends us food. I don't
- 1:54:41Speaker 11: know if the rest of it will keep, so just
- 1:54:42Speaker 11: send us gift cards for Food Emporium.
- 1:54:45Speaker 10: I like steak.
- 1:54:46Speaker 11: There you go. Send her steak gift cards. We'll take
- 1:54:49Speaker 11: just about anything. Just make sure it's nationwide so we
- 1:54:51Speaker 11: can actually use it. Outback's good.
- 1:54:55Speaker 3: Yeah, speaking of Australian, Outback is good.
- 1:54:57Speaker 11: Yeah, you know, authentic Australian food like Outback.
- 1:55:01Speaker 10: See, I brought it all around town.
- 1:55:03Speaker 11: Bring it around.
- 1:55:04Speaker 3: And we'll drink a Foster's.
- 1:55:05Speaker 10: I don't drink.
- 1:55:06Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm having Diet Coke. Diet Coke, if you'd like
- 1:55:09Speaker 11: to sponsor us, send it on over.
- 1:55:11Speaker 10: I like Cherry Coke.
- 1:55:12Speaker 11: There you go. We'll take it. But not this week,
- 1:55:15Speaker 11: because we're sponsored by Red Velvet Milk.
- 1:55:18Speaker 7: Nondescript brand Red Velvet Milk.
- 1:55:20Speaker 11: Until the check comes, nondescript brand Red Velvet Milk.
- 1:55:25Speaker 8: That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.
- 1:55:28Speaker 11: Okay, kids, get out your recorder bins.
- 1:55:30Speaker 10: Oh, man. Do it.
- 1:55:34Speaker 11: Do it like Axl Rose style.
- 1:55:36Speaker 10: I can't.
- 1:55:37Speaker 11: Come on, do the shimmy back and forth.
- 1:55:39Speaker 9: And, you know.
- 1:55:40Speaker 3: Or do the last note of don't cry.
- 1:55:43Speaker 11: Yeah, do that for the next five minutes. Just do that.
- 1:55:45Speaker 13: I can't.
- 1:55:46Speaker 10: I'm embarrassed.
- 1:55:47Speaker 19: .
- 1:55:47Speaker 10: Now, if he had a
- 1:55:51Speaker 10: microphone in my car when I'm driving home from work,
- 1:55:53Speaker 10: he would totally hear me rocking it. Sitting in traffic
- 1:55:57Speaker 10: for an hour.
- 1:55:58Speaker 3: I hate that traffic.
- 1:55:59Speaker 10: Get me going.
- 1:56:00Speaker 11: I'm mad. That's a whole different thing.
- 1:56:02Speaker 2: Yeah, unless you're cussing at me over the phone about
- 1:56:05Speaker 2: people in traffic.
- 1:56:06Speaker 7: How bad that traffic's going to be when it snows.
- 1:56:10Speaker 10: And me in my car listening to Get in the Ring.
- 1:56:12Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:56:14Speaker 11: Skip that track. That track is terrible.
- 1:56:16Speaker 10: The first part's awesome. I like the first part.
- 1:56:18Speaker 11: You're just like imbitching at people.
- 1:56:20Speaker 10: I like the first part.
- 1:56:21Speaker 6: Set your pins to B2.
- 1:56:22Speaker 10: Here is the message.
