- 0:01Speaker 1: Good morning, good morning, good morning, and welcome, welcome, welcome.
- 0:04Speaker 1: We got the guys from fast Track in back with
- 0:07Speaker 1: us today.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Guys. How's it going great?
- 0:10Speaker 3: Yeah, doing well, Thank you for having us.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Well, you know what, I've been visiting doing some business
- 0:14Speaker 1: with you there at your location right through on Frank Phillips.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Nice and cozy, but I understand you got a bigger,
- 0:20Speaker 1: brand new one coming up here.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Clay got tired of us having to be so close
- 0:24Speaker 4: and behind that little desk, so he decided we were
- 0:26Speaker 4: going to grow a little bit. So we have a
- 0:28Speaker 4: store coming up on Washington Boulevard, right next to the
- 0:31Speaker 4: Water Burger, uh, just south of Walmart. So we're really
- 0:34Speaker 4: excited for that, looking.
- 0:35Speaker 3: For it to open in the next couple of weeks.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Now, how's this going to be different? But other than being.
- 0:40Speaker 5: New, So this store is designed for convenience and speed.
- 0:46Speaker 5: So that's our goal with every customer is to get
- 0:49Speaker 5: him in and out fast to where it's not an
- 0:51Speaker 5: inconvenience to get your car serviced, and this whole store
- 0:55Speaker 5: is designed around that.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Well, this is great, You're already pretty darn fast, thus
- 0:59Speaker 1: the name fast Track and your present location. But this
- 1:02Speaker 1: is the one that you two had a hand in
- 1:05Speaker 1: designing yourselves.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Yeah, So Clay and I were part of this since
- 1:09Speaker 4: the inception of it.
- 1:10Speaker 2: We knew what we wanted to do.
- 1:12Speaker 4: We wanted to make it as easy as possible for
- 1:13Speaker 4: people to come in and get their vehicle serviced. So
- 1:16Speaker 4: this store has a quick loop.
- 1:17Speaker 3: And if you're not familiar with that, it's awesome.
- 1:20Speaker 4: You want if you don't want to get out of
- 1:21Speaker 4: your vehicle, you don't have to if you want to
- 1:23Speaker 4: get out, but all.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Changes are going to take us about fifteen to twenty minutes.
- 1:27Speaker 2: That's it. Wow, I like that. So this is a
- 1:31Speaker 2: state of the art.
- 1:32Speaker 5: Right is easy peasy. Yeah, There'll be a guy, a
- 1:36Speaker 5: guy up top filling the fluids and top and off
- 1:39Speaker 5: all and then a guy beneath it. So two people
- 1:41Speaker 5: on your car at once. Can't get any better than that.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Now, when we get to the business of tires, this
- 1:47Speaker 1: is where you guys excel And I got to tell you,
- 1:51Speaker 1: with my history of service with you guys.
- 1:54Speaker 2: It's been nothing but fast.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I don't think I've been in maybe longer than a
- 1:58Speaker 1: half hour at twenty minute.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Or something like that. And to get a tire repaired
- 2:03Speaker 2: or changed.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, as much fun as Clay and I are.
- 2:06Speaker 4: We understand that nobody wants to come hang out with
- 2:08Speaker 4: us for hours and hours while their car gets service.
- 2:10Speaker 4: So we really prioritize the speed of service getting people
- 2:13Speaker 4: in and out.
- 2:14Speaker 3: And that's why, I mean, that's why we put it
- 2:16Speaker 3: in our name. We're gonna move quickly for you.
- 2:18Speaker 4: We're gonna hustle around and we're gonna make sure you're
- 2:20Speaker 4: back on the road quickly.
- 2:22Speaker 1: And you know, you guys come from a long line
- 2:24Speaker 1: of tire people, not that they're tired, but just tire people.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Tell us a little bit about the history.
- 2:31Speaker 5: Our grandpa started it all for us thirty five years
- 2:33Speaker 5: ago downtown Bartlesville. Our dad's joined him shortly after that,
- 2:37Speaker 5: Chuck and Craig, and then we just followed in their footsteps.
- 2:41Speaker 3: So we figured out we're not good.
- 2:43Speaker 5: At anything else. We really love this business and we
- 2:45Speaker 5: love the people. So that's why we're continuing to drive
- 2:49Speaker 5: this legacy in Bartlesville.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Speaking of the legacy, the times I've been in there,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I've had the chance to visit with some previous customers
- 2:58Speaker 1: who did business with your elders and uh Boyle boyle boy.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Once you make a customer there with these tape filters, uh,
- 3:08Speaker 1: it stays.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 4: We do our best just to make sure everybody knows
- 3:11Speaker 4: that we care about them and we truly do value them.
- 3:14Speaker 4: And I think that's I mean, that's what the taps
- 3:16Speaker 4: have done in Bartlesville for forever, that it's more than
- 3:18Speaker 4: just the commodity of getting your tires done or getting
- 3:22Speaker 4: your old change. We truly value the people and I
- 3:25Speaker 4: think they feel the difference. And that's something Clay and I,
- 3:28Speaker 4: you know, we live in Diebay. We want we want
- 3:30Speaker 4: people to know we care about them, and that's why
- 3:31Speaker 4: we work the way we work.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Indeed, you know one thing I kind of got to
- 3:35Speaker 1: kick out of everybody seems to be on a first
- 3:37Speaker 1: name basis. And you've only been doing fast Track for
- 3:40Speaker 1: about a year or so now, right.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yep, yep. Uh, we have a little over
- 3:45Speaker 5: a year in August, so coming up on that quick
- 3:48Speaker 5: glube in store too, we're getting excited.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I got you got to.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You know, there's really a lot to be said about
- 3:54Speaker 1: your present location for convenience. It's right there on Frank Phillips.
- 3:58Speaker 1: You can't miss it, right across from Pacheetahs right there
- 4:01Speaker 1: by slumbers.
- 4:02Speaker 2: A and all that area.
- 4:03Speaker 1: But now on the one on Washington, where are Union
- 4:06Speaker 1: give us some landmark areas?
- 4:08Speaker 4: Yeah, so thirteen hundred southeast Washington Boulevard, which obviously doesn't
- 4:12Speaker 4: always matter to people. Were right north of Waterburger and
- 4:15Speaker 4: south of Aspendental, south of Walmart.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I'm saw on that east side of Highway seventy five.
- 4:21Speaker 2: There you go.
- 4:22Speaker 1: And it's on a little hill too, just a nice
- 4:24Speaker 1: littlely inclined there so you can't see it. They were
- 4:28Speaker 1: poor an asphalt, I guess the last time I talked
- 4:31Speaker 1: to Yeah, how are we doing there?
- 4:33Speaker 4: So?
- 4:33Speaker 2: Are we getting ready to get open the door?
- 4:35Speaker 5: The parking lots done, We're going to be moving in
- 4:37Speaker 5: a lot of equipment and tools in this week, so
- 4:41Speaker 5: we're hoping to be planning to be open in the
- 4:43Speaker 5: next week or two.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Wow, that's fast. That is fast. Thus fast track.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Once again, it's about speed, it's about convenience, it's about
- 4:54Speaker 1: being treated properly.
- 4:55Speaker 2: One thing I gotta say is you guys. First of all,
- 4:58Speaker 2: you have a great sense of humor.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You just hanging around here, we're having fun and everything,
- 5:02Speaker 1: But when you come into the store, which you're hearing
- 5:04Speaker 1: here on the radio, is the same sense of humor
- 5:07Speaker 1: these guys have with their clients. You know, not everybody
- 5:10Speaker 1: wants to, you know, be joking around, but I guarantee
- 5:13Speaker 1: you you're gonna be in a much better mood by
- 5:16Speaker 1: the time that your tire has been serviced or your
- 5:18Speaker 1: car has had its oil change, and you're gonna have
- 5:21Speaker 1: some very pleasant conversation. It's really just a really good
- 5:25Speaker 1: feeling knowing you're being taken care of and the people
- 5:28Speaker 1: really have a nice, you know, attitude about it.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Some folks, you know, they go to places and all
- 5:32Speaker 2: the year is groumble. I don't know how that works.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Yeah, it's important for us to build relationships with people,
- 5:38Speaker 4: and we're gonna find fun and everything we do when
- 5:41Speaker 4: we're interacting with people.
- 5:42Speaker 3: We love people. Uh so we're gonna have fun.
- 5:45Speaker 4: But also we're working, we're running around and our team
- 5:48Speaker 4: we want them to have fun while they're doing it too.
- 5:50Speaker 4: And one of the best ways of we've we have
- 5:51Speaker 4: found to do that is we're joking. We're going to
- 5:53Speaker 4: be having a good time, smiling and laughing.
- 5:55Speaker 1: But I tell you what, though, when it comes to
- 5:58Speaker 1: putting the boats on the off. It's all serious. It's
- 6:02Speaker 1: like doctor and that tire.
- 6:03Speaker 5: There's no funny business on the vehicles. So it's purely
- 6:07Speaker 5: face to face.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It's gonna get done right the first time, and you
- 6:14Speaker 1: can guarantee that that's really wonderful.
- 6:17Speaker 2: You know.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm so excited to for you guys because watching the
- 6:21Speaker 1: business take off at your present location on Frank Phillips
- 6:25Speaker 1: and watching it grow so quickly to the point where
- 6:28Speaker 1: you have to expand. I mean, this is truly a
- 6:31Speaker 1: Bartlesville story when it comes to business.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Obviously, we've just had such tremendous support from Bartlesville, and
- 6:38Speaker 4: I mean this goes way back obviously, look at what
- 6:41Speaker 4: our dads did, started in a little building downtown and
- 6:44Speaker 4: then ended up with one on the highway. So it's
- 6:46Speaker 4: history repeating itself and we're just thankful for the people
- 6:48Speaker 4: of Barswill to continue supporting us.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Yeah. I wonder where you guys got that blueprint for success.
- 6:55Speaker 5: They made it really easy for us.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Do it right the first time. Yeah, give him a
- 6:59Speaker 2: fair price.
- 7:00Speaker 5: And yeah, work hard and treat people how they want
- 7:03Speaker 5: to be treated. And it's very easy.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Very easy. And no trick to it.
- 7:08Speaker 1: My goodness, say, and you know what, they send people
- 7:10Speaker 1: to college to get an NBA to figure that out.
- 7:13Speaker 2: You know that.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Yeah, our dads were wise beyond their education. I would
- 7:17Speaker 4: say they didn't have to go get their NBA. But
- 7:19Speaker 4: our grandpa and our dad's knew. We take care of
- 7:22Speaker 4: people and we happen to just service their vehicles. So
- 7:25Speaker 4: it's a people business. We just happen to work on cars.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Now, when it comes to cars and tires, what lines
- 7:29Speaker 1: of tires do you carry most everything?
- 7:32Speaker 5: Yes, so we can get anything. We really like the Coopers.
- 7:37Speaker 5: They've been great for us. They ride great, They've come
- 7:40Speaker 5: with a fantastic warranty, so we've been really happy with those.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Any tire you buy from us, you'll have ninety days
- 7:47Speaker 5: to ride on it and make sure you like it,
- 7:49Speaker 5: because we don't want people riding on.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Tires for four years that they don't like.
- 7:53Speaker 5: So we'll also always fix flats for free. That's where
- 7:57Speaker 5: you buy tires here or not.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Well, you know, that's when you talk about the Cooper brand.
- 8:02Speaker 1: That's something that a lot of people recognize is what
- 8:05Speaker 1: they call a tremendous value because you get high quality
- 8:09Speaker 1: at a very good price, so you can get in
- 8:11Speaker 1: the best of both worlds. But like you said, any
- 8:13Speaker 1: preference you got. Now when it comes to well, how
- 8:15Speaker 1: are we doing on that with the oil changes, with
- 8:18Speaker 1: this big old operation we got coming on here. Do
- 8:21Speaker 1: we have synthetics, do we have regulars?
- 8:22Speaker 2: What do we got?
- 8:23Speaker 4: We've got everything you can imagine. So anything that your
- 8:26Speaker 4: vehicle will need or require, even if something special that
- 8:29Speaker 4: you want, we've got it. We keep all types of
- 8:32Speaker 4: brands and we're able to get them on demand if
- 8:35Speaker 4: it's something we don't have, So whatever your preferences, we
- 8:38Speaker 4: can take care of all.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Right now we're talking here, So two locations. We've got
- 8:43Speaker 1: the first one on Frank Phillips Boulevard on the north
- 8:47Speaker 1: side of the road, and then you'll be on the
- 8:49Speaker 1: east side of Washington Avenue here in Washington Boulevard. In
- 8:55Speaker 1: very short order, you say that at the end of this,
- 8:57Speaker 1: at the end of the week, we're.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Hoping it's probably going to be a couple of weeks out.
- 9:01Speaker 3: We're seven to ten days out from Oh.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay. I'm sitting here thinking.
- 9:08Speaker 4: If we're opening in four days, I think Clay and
- 9:10Speaker 4: I would probably have to be at the shop this.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Morning and there overnight for a few days too. But
- 9:16Speaker 2: this is gonna be great. We're gonna have any kind
- 9:18Speaker 2: of grand opening deal going on here.
- 9:21Speaker 5: We will, so we'll plan on having any grand opening,
- 9:24Speaker 5: probably sometime in November, once you get everything, once we
- 9:27Speaker 5: get all the camps worked out, yeap, exactly, we'll do.
- 9:30Speaker 5: We'll have some big promotions going on, so keep it fly,
- 9:33Speaker 5: keep your ears posted for that.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Keep it right here in game one we'll have all
- 9:36Speaker 1: the details on it. Geez, guys, nothing but success in sunshine?
- 9:40Speaker 1: How do you live with yourselves?
- 9:42Speaker 3: We're very fortunate. I'll reiterate it again. The people of
- 9:45Speaker 3: Barswell have supported.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Us tremendously and it's it's just a cool feeling when
- 9:49Speaker 4: we first opened, to feel the support of your hometown
- 9:53Speaker 4: and all of our friends and family and all the
- 9:55Speaker 4: people in Barbswool. It's just been cool and we're super
- 9:58Speaker 4: thankful for it.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Well, you know, it appears to wear well on you guys.
- 10:02Speaker 1: A year and so and some change into the business.
- 10:05Speaker 1: You're expanding already and great things are happening. Have you
- 10:09Speaker 1: got your team all lined up for the new new place?
- 10:11Speaker 1: Are you looking for folks.
- 10:13Speaker 3: We do.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Yeah, we're we're always looking for good people to come
- 10:17Speaker 5: and work with us. We've got a pretty good team
- 10:19Speaker 5: lined out that. We're excited. They carry the same culture
- 10:23Speaker 5: that we want them to just taking care of people.
- 10:26Speaker 3: So we're very excited for that.
- 10:28Speaker 2: And people follow you on the Facebook and all that.
- 10:31Speaker 5: Absolutely, Facebook, Instagram, give us a follow.
- 10:35Speaker 2: We're on there, gat yeah, go on big time.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Yeah, we're pretty pretty important.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Now do you put specials and stuff on your on
- 10:43Speaker 1: your social media?
- 10:44Speaker 3: We do? Oh yeah, yeah absolutely all right.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Pretty good, very good, guys. Thanks for being with us
- 10:50Speaker 1: today on one on one with the pros.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Yeah, thank thanks for having us
