  Faith that works. There is a difference between
• 0:13
  talking about change and actually walking in it.
• 0:17
  It is easy to say you want to grow, want to trust God, want to
• 0:21
  become more disciplined, or want to live differently.
• 0:24
  But Proverbs chapter 14 verse 23 says in all toil there is
• 0:28
  profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.
• 0:31
  In other words, words alone do not build a life.
• 0:35
  Faith is meant to move. Growth usually comes through
• 0:38
  obedience, persistence, and action.
• 0:42
  Psalm 32, verse 5 says I acknowledged my sin to you and I
• 0:46
  did not cover my iniquity. That is another kind of action,
• 0:49
  honest confession. Real faith does not hide behind
• 0:53
  excuses. It comes into the light.
• 0:56
  It brings sin to God and receives forgiveness.
• 0:59
  Then Romans chapter 4 points us to Abraham, who received the
• 1:02
  promise through faith. His faith was not empty belief,
• 1:07
  It was trust that shaped the way he lived.
• 1:09
  That matters so much because sometimes people think faith
• 1:12
  means sitting back passively and hoping things somehow change.
• 1:16
  But biblical faith responds, It prays and it obeys.
• 1:21
  It trusts and it moves. It believes God's promises
• 1:24
  enough to live differently because of them.
• 1:27
  Maybe there is an area of your life where you have been stuck
• 1:29
  in talk. You say you want peace, but you
• 1:32
  keep feeding anxiety. You say you want closeness with
• 1:35
  God, but you rarely make space for him.
• 1:38
  You say you want to grow, but you avoid the effort growth
• 1:41
  requires. This is not about earning God's
• 1:44
  love. It is about letting faith become
• 1:47
  visible in the choices you make. Small acts of obedience matter.
• 1:51
  Opening your Bible when you do not feel like it matters.
• 1:55
  Confessing sin instead of covering it matters.
• 1:57
  Doing the next faithful thing matters.
• 2:00
  God sees every step He works through the ordinary efforts
• 2:03
  that are surrendered to Him. Faith that works is not flashy.

  It is steady. It is honest, it is willing.
• 2:10
  And God delights. To strengthen that kind of
• 2:12
  faith, let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for
• 2:16
  calling me to a faith that is real and active.
• 2:19
  Help me move beyond empty words into obedience, honesty and
• 2:22
  trust. Give me courage to confess my
• 2:25
  sin, strength to do the work of growth and confidence that you
• 2:29
  are with me in every faithful step.

  Let my life reflect a faith that is alive, steady and rooted in
• 2:35
  You. In Jesus name, Amen.

  The promise to Abraham and to his offspring that he would be

  heir of the world, wasn't through the law, but through the

  righteousness of faith. For if those who are of the law

  are heirs, faith is made void, and the promise is made of no

  effect. For the law produces wrath.

  For where there is no law, neither is there disobedience.

  For this 'cause it is a faith that it may be according to
• 7:14
  grace to the end, that the promise may be sure to all the
• 7:17
  offspring, not to that only which is of the law, but to that
• 7:22
  also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us
• 7:25
  all. As it is written, I have made

  you a father of many nations. This is in the presence of him
• 7:31
  whom he believed, God, who gives life to the dead, and calls the
• 7:35
  things that are not as though they were against Hope.

  Abraham and Hope believed to the end that he might become a
• 7:42
  father of many nations according to that which had been spoken.

  So will your offspring be without being weakened in faith.

  He didn't consider his own body already having been worn out, he

  being about 100 years old and the deadness of Sarah's womb.

  Yet looking to the promise of God, he didn't waver through

  unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to

  God and being fully assured that what He had promised, he was
• 8:10
  also able to perform. Therefore, it also was credited
• 8:14
  to him for righteousness. Now, it was not written that it
• 8:17
  was accounted to Him for His sake alone, but for our sake
• 8:20
  also to whom it will be accounted who believe in Him,
• 8:24
  who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up
• 8:28
  for our trespasses and was raised for our justification.
