- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up Bond Relatables. Belly is hands down, please no
- 0:05Speaker 1: one hate me, the most selfish person alive. These two
- 0:09Speaker 1: poor boys. They also have their issues. Yes, I admit
- 0:13Speaker 1: they both have issues, right, But poor Conrad and Jeremiah,
- 0:16Speaker 1: they don't have a mum anymore. They both don't really
- 0:19Speaker 1: like their dad. Conrad hates his dad, Jeremiah is starting
- 0:21Speaker 1: to hate his dad and now they fucking hate each other.
- 0:25Speaker 1: They have no one, and Belly's like, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I want both of you and none of you at
- 0:31Speaker 1: the same time.
- 0:33Speaker 2: It's insane.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Jake Craig Okay Daddy
- 0:49Speaker 3: and my sick unfortunately partner in crime, Boddie Clark aka.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Mummy Pretty Sick. And Audi is Mummy because he's the
- 1:02Speaker 1: one you go to actually when you get sick and
- 1:05Speaker 1: he'll help you out. You go and that's where you
- 1:07Speaker 1: go to his room at night. You go my puke
- 1:11Speaker 1: and Jake is dead because he doesn't know what to do.
- 1:15Speaker 1: And you guys, you guys are all the baddies, of course,
- 1:17Speaker 1: but you already know that. Welcome any new boddies. You
- 1:21Speaker 1: guys do know that. But yeah, so Audio has been
- 1:23Speaker 1: pretty sick. Yeah, so we're recording this on a Monday
- 1:27Speaker 1: and over the weekend. I've just been ill. That's crazy. Yeah,
- 1:31Speaker 1: I reckon. I'm a solid five out of ten at
- 1:34Speaker 1: the moment. Okay, what were you yesterday? You're bad? Right, Yesterday,
- 1:36Speaker 1: I reckon, I was like, too fuck, I was struggling.
- 1:40Speaker 1: If I work up the same that I that I
- 1:43Speaker 1: was yesterday, I was going to call him back. I
- 1:45Speaker 1: can't do it, Like, don't come, yeah, don't come. But
- 1:48Speaker 1: I'm all right. So if my energy isn't quite there,
- 1:50Speaker 1: I feel like I'm just going to get into like
- 1:52Speaker 1: a flow, stay and like just mummy instinct will take.
- 1:56Speaker 1: We could just episode, you know, we could try and
- 1:58Speaker 1: keep you relaxed, like I don't want to get you
- 2:00Speaker 1: you like pushing the limits, you know, then you might
- 2:03Speaker 1: get sicker. Yeah, but at the end of the day,
- 2:05Speaker 1: we're just talking. That's a good point. It's like at
- 2:08Speaker 1: least not out fucking like on the job side. Yeah exactly,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Ohen Lawns or something. Yeah, but I wanted to say
- 2:15Speaker 1: big thanks everyone that's got merch. Yeah. The last couple
- 2:17Speaker 1: of weeks. Great. I'm wearing one of the jumpers right
- 2:20Speaker 1: now and actually doubled up, double it up, got the
- 2:24Speaker 1: T shirt. Also, I want to say, so, I've got
- 2:27Speaker 1: quite a lot of hoodies in my collection, right you
- 2:31Speaker 1: have more than me. I have a lot, and you
- 2:32Speaker 1: have more than me. Yeah, and I'm not wearing one
- 2:34Speaker 1: of ours right now, like because I would have wore
- 2:36Speaker 1: the same one. But yesterday and Saturday when I was sick.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You know what hoodie I was wearing the whole time
- 2:43Speaker 1: because of comfort, the black Relatables crop good. It's the
- 2:48Speaker 1: most comfortable hoodie I've got. Man, good Man. And I'm
- 2:50Speaker 1: not biased, fine bit yeah, not one bit bias, not
- 2:54Speaker 1: at all. And where do they get it? Do your
- 2:55Speaker 1: favorite thing ww dot? Relatable is not shot. Okay, guys,
- 3:01Speaker 1: but don't get you some merch. This week is the
- 3:04Speaker 1: final group stage of the Boyfriend Olympics. It's going great.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I'm so proud of all the baddies for getting involved
- 3:15Speaker 1: in the Boyfriend Olympics signing up, but also everyone who's
- 3:18Speaker 1: commenting who's winning. He has a few favorites already. I think, Yeah,
- 3:22Speaker 1: it's going great. So the final group stage, what is
- 3:25Speaker 1: the challenge Jake. The challenge is to say to your
- 3:28Speaker 1: boyfriend that you had a dream that he has cheated
- 3:32Speaker 1: on you. Yeah. So, probably the most spicy challenge in
- 3:36Speaker 1: my opinion, but hey, it's a classic. It is a classic. Yes,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and I think this one really does come down to
- 3:43Speaker 1: the delivery from the partner or the baddie the most. Yeah.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I've seen the results and I think that does play
- 3:50Speaker 1: a part. But nonetheless, we've got two lovely baddies ready
- 3:55Speaker 1: to call. We've got the Double A's competing. We've got
- 3:58Speaker 1: Angie and Abbey, Angie and Happy. Yeah. We're going to
- 4:02Speaker 1: call Abby first and see how her boyfriend went competing
- 4:07Speaker 1: unknowingly with the challenge, I dreamt that you cheated on me. Okay,
- 4:11Speaker 1: let's do it.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Hello Abby speaking.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Hello Abby, It's Jake and Oddie from the Relatables.
- 4:18Speaker 4: How are you.
- 4:22Speaker 1: We are doing very very well. Welcome to the boyfriend Olympics.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 4:32Speaker 1: So, Yes, this is very sick. Also is actually he
- 4:38Speaker 1: is actually sick. I'm a little bit sick. So this week,
- 4:46Speaker 1: for the third and final stage of the just what
- 4:50Speaker 1: are these rounds? Called the group stages, the challenge was
- 4:54Speaker 1: to tell your boyfriend you had to dream he cheated
- 4:57Speaker 1: on you and his response. We had a couple of
- 5:00Speaker 1: questions before we get into your results. Oh, Sam, yeah,
- 5:04Speaker 1: did you feel when you got given the challenge? How
- 5:09Speaker 1: long have you and your boyfriend been together? And what's
- 5:11Speaker 1: your boyfriend's name?
- 5:12Speaker 4: So, my lovely boyfriends name is Will.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Will.
- 5:15Speaker 4: He is, yeah, blessing, his name's William. He gets cooled
- 5:18Speaker 4: Willy all the time.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Second Will too? Will?
- 5:22Speaker 5: Really?
- 5:22Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, So yeah, I've got lovely Will. We've
- 5:26Speaker 4: been together for five years now, for a long time.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Yes, that's a little lime, a lot of the kicker.
- 5:37Speaker 4: We're only nineteen as well, so.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Oh a very long time. Fourteen?
- 5:43Speaker 4: Yeah, wild quick.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Math quick maths. I think that's are long you guys? Wow? Okay,
- 5:50Speaker 1: so you guys are I guess technically high school sweethearts
- 5:52Speaker 1: because fourteen's high school.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Yeah. But I before you listen his reaction, I need
- 6:01Speaker 4: to preface this. I've had this dream so many times.
- 6:07Speaker 4: So nothing bad, nothing bad. He would never he's yeah,
- 6:12Speaker 4: bless his soul. But that's probably why his reactions to
- 6:16Speaker 4: the way it is because he's like, dude, what the hell,
- 6:18Speaker 4: come on?
- 6:19Speaker 1: What you do this often? Is that what he's.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Saying yeah, it's typically I wake up. I'm just like,
- 6:25Speaker 4: oh God, I hate you. He's like, what have I done?
- 6:26Speaker 2: Now?
- 6:27Speaker 6: I was like me, Well, my question is then before
- 6:33Speaker 6: we get into results and what the very first time
- 6:36Speaker 6: you ever had the.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Dream and you were like wake up and you're like, man,
- 6:39Speaker 1: fuck you like he guys, what what? What? And you
- 6:42Speaker 1: said your chief got me like he could you do that?
- 6:45Speaker 1: What was his first ever reaction to it?
- 6:47Speaker 4: He's freaking out, bless his soul. We were like, a please, no,
- 6:52Speaker 4: I would never do this too, Like I'm.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Just so sorry.
- 6:55Speaker 7: I know me too.
- 6:59Speaker 1: And so now he's like how many times I have
- 7:00Speaker 1: to tell you?
- 7:02Speaker 4: Literally I've got the reaction that I got.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Well, the way this is going to work is, so
- 7:11Speaker 1: we have your results, we're going to hang up, we're
- 7:13Speaker 1: going to play them all right. So when once we
- 7:16Speaker 1: hang up, you're the first caller of today as well
- 7:17Speaker 1: for stage three.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I'm so excited.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So what's going to happen is after we hang out
- 7:22Speaker 1: with you, you're not going to hear your results and the
- 7:25Speaker 1: other results until this episode comes out and the baddies
- 7:29Speaker 1: get to vote. Oddie and I have zero vote in this. Yeah, no,
- 7:32Speaker 1: say at all.
- 7:33Speaker 4: I am so excited, like I actually can't wait.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Okay, well I've been.
- 7:39Speaker 4: I've been telling literally everyone about this. I'm work right
- 7:43Speaker 4: now and I'm literally telling my coworker's like I love
- 7:45Speaker 4: the relatable Thank.
- 7:48Speaker 1: You so much. Let homee. It doesn't get back to
- 7:49Speaker 1: your boyfriend, little birdie.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Yeah, no, it won't even worry.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Okay, well, thank you so much. Have a good rest
- 7:57Speaker 1: of your day, and hopefully we see you again the
- 8:01Speaker 1: least in the next stage.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Definitely, and Audio have to feel better.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, Oh, thank you too.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Later a great day.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, Abby and Will Abby and will Les five
- 8:16Speaker 1: years and fourteen. A lot of rapports there. Yeah, but
- 8:21Speaker 1: he is a kicker, very young. She's done this a lot. Yeah,
- 8:24Speaker 1: this was a bad challenge for her to get. Unfortunately.
- 8:27Speaker 1: The game is the game, though, isn't it. Nature of
- 8:29Speaker 1: the beast man, nature of the beasts. So I've got
- 8:31Speaker 1: Abby's results. Are you ready right away? I don't like
- 8:35Speaker 1: you right now?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Can't you remember m hm my dream we're a club
- 8:45Speaker 2: and you look with this girl. You just got to
- 8:48Speaker 2: be there. I like superheroin because you said to me
- 8:55Speaker 2: you looked at my face and laughter, and I'm leaving
- 8:57Speaker 2: with her. Yeah, he's me.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I don't like.
- 9:04Speaker 8: Him, so that's it, okay, I like.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I like how he was, like, how do you know
- 9:11Speaker 1: I wasn't out superheroing or something? What did he say
- 9:17Speaker 1: at the end? So someone or something is vindictive? But
- 9:20Speaker 1: then she said, and I don't like him, but I
- 9:23Speaker 1: don't like him. So did he say someone's name? That's yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 1: that's difficult. I'm not gonna lie. Not a great result,
- 9:33Speaker 1: unfortunate for Abby to be fair. The superhero thing creative
- 9:38Speaker 1: creative because he turned the dream thing on its head
- 9:41Speaker 1: exactly and kind of makes sense with what she just
- 9:43Speaker 1: told her. But when she went and further, yeah, further explained,
- 9:50Speaker 1: and she said, no, no, we were at a club
- 9:53Speaker 1: and you just looked at me and said, hah, I'm
- 9:56Speaker 1: living with this girl. That's when he goes. And everybody said,
- 10:00Speaker 1: we couldn't really understand, but he could have had a
- 10:03Speaker 1: much better resp. It's just also, let's let's just give
- 10:06Speaker 1: Abbey credit for her performance. Just like, I don't like
- 10:10Speaker 1: you right now?
- 10:11Speaker 2: Can you remember mm hmmm, who in my dream? Your
- 10:19Speaker 2: club and you look at this girl that like superheroine
- 10:28Speaker 2: Because you said to me, you look at my first laughter,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and I'm living with her.
- 10:34Speaker 7: Yeah, dreams was a bit vindictive.
- 10:37Speaker 2: He's me, I don't like him.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Dream was a little bit your dream like him? Maybe,
- 10:45Speaker 1: she said, I don't know. Maybe there's like someone I
- 10:48Speaker 1: don't know, like a hall pass or something. I don't know,
- 10:50Speaker 1: who knows. The only thing I can think is because
- 10:52Speaker 1: of her response is that he has been like maybe
- 10:54Speaker 1: you were dreaming about and then someone else's name, so
- 10:58Speaker 1: like maybe she likes to read and she has like
- 11:00Speaker 1: book boyfriends or whatever. Yeah, you're dreaming about It could
- 11:03Speaker 1: be that like, yeah, I don't even like him, like
- 11:07Speaker 1: I like him? Interesting, I don't know. Will you could
- 11:09Speaker 1: have done better? Mate?
- 11:10Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 11:10Speaker 1: Sorry, I know I'm not talking about he's not hearing this,
- 11:12Speaker 1: but well you could have done much better. Yeah, to
- 11:15Speaker 1: be fair to him, Like if Cassie every once in
- 11:18Speaker 1: a while said this to me and then this was
- 11:20Speaker 1: like the seventh time, I'd be like, mate, are you kidding?
- 11:23Speaker 1: If I was? If I didn't know what was going on,
- 11:25Speaker 1: I would have been going if if this was like yeah,
- 11:28Speaker 1: the seventh time, the tenth time, would have birth had
- 11:30Speaker 1: done this to me, I wouldn't have replied, she wouldn't
- 11:34Speaker 1: have been able to submit her thing was creative. That
- 11:42Speaker 1: was about it. Also props to Abby forging further into
- 11:45Speaker 1: the story about like and props to Abbey for like
- 11:47Speaker 1: acting she sounded like she was actually been cheated on. Right, Okay,
- 11:53Speaker 1: who's next, Angie? We're calling Angie next, so let's give
- 11:57Speaker 1: her a ring. Good morning, Angie? Is that you? Yeah,
- 12:05Speaker 1: that's me.
- 12:05Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 12:08Speaker 1: That is totally fine. It's jaking only from the relatables.
- 12:10Speaker 1: We would love to ask, how are you going today?
- 12:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm good.
- 12:15Speaker 1: You guys, we're doing very well. So as you know, yep.
- 12:22Speaker 1: The challenge for this stage of the group stages of
- 12:26Speaker 1: the Boyfriend Olympics was to ask your boyfriend, So not
- 12:30Speaker 1: ask your by friend, tell your boyfriend that he cheated
- 12:32Speaker 1: on you in your dream. So we had a few
- 12:37Speaker 1: questions when you got the challenge. How did you feel
- 12:42Speaker 1: were you confident that your boyfriend was going to do well?
- 12:46Speaker 5: I'm feeling that he might not doing wrong because I
- 12:49Speaker 5: know he's kind of like original guy and.
- 12:51Speaker 1: What so, so you think he might not do great
- 12:54Speaker 1: because he's rational, Yeah.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Like a metal man like you, like in his like
- 13:02Speaker 4: forties or fifties, even though he's been his twenties.
- 13:06Speaker 1: He's an old soul. Some would say he's an old
- 13:12Speaker 1: what's your boyfriend's name? His name is Ali Ali Ali.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Where are you guys from?
- 13:19Speaker 3: Oh we're from hurt Perf.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Oh you guys are you guys are all the way
- 13:24Speaker 1: on the other side of the country. So it's kind
- 13:27Speaker 1: of early in the morning. What time is it in
- 13:28Speaker 1: the morning for you?
- 13:29Speaker 7: Then?
- 13:30Speaker 4: Oh, it's like eight thirty.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Okay, not too bad. So how long have you boy
- 13:37Speaker 1: your boyfriend been together?
- 13:39Speaker 4: Oh we just love reading our second year.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Okay, two years, two years, we love it. So today
- 13:46Speaker 1: you're our second caller. We've already had the first contestant.
- 13:51Speaker 1: So how this will work is we will hang up
- 13:54Speaker 1: from on you, we will play your results, and then
- 13:57Speaker 1: you won't get to see the results until all next week,
- 14:02Speaker 1: and then all the baddies are going to vote and
- 14:05Speaker 1: they will vote who goes through to the metal stages.
- 14:10Speaker 1: So thank you so much for coming on and challenging
- 14:13Speaker 1: your boyfriend, and hopefully we speak to you again. All right,
- 14:17Speaker 1: have a good day, cow chow. Okay, So let's play
- 14:25Speaker 1: her results and what I'm going to do with this
- 14:27Speaker 1: one is I've got her results and they don't sound
- 14:33Speaker 1: the best. But I really really liked Angie's results. So
- 14:37Speaker 1: how this is going to work is there is a
- 14:38Speaker 1: slight accent there. I'm gonna play it, but then I
- 14:41Speaker 1: also asked her to transcribe it so we can read it,
- 14:44Speaker 1: and then I'm gonna tell you what they said, and
- 14:48Speaker 1: then once you know what you're listening for, you can
- 14:50Speaker 1: hear it way better. Okay, so we're going to do
- 14:52Speaker 1: the transcription first. Now, no, that's his play first, Play first,
- 14:55Speaker 1: transcribe play it again. Okay, so we'll so you get
- 14:57Speaker 1: your full reaction. So listen closely, listen mostly, but it's
- 15:01Speaker 1: funny and it takes a while to click. What's happening? Oh?
- 15:04Speaker 1: Should Okay?
- 15:06Speaker 9: Him drumming about that, I must not under where someone else.
- 15:11Speaker 7: I'm strike, yes, sorry for pink someone else? Can? I
- 15:26Speaker 7: have seen him in the Husbands again in Trouble and Trouble, Kim,
- 15:34Speaker 7: you're in trouble.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Going to.
- 15:42Speaker 1: So I could I can tell what was happening? Yeah,
- 15:44Speaker 1: I can tell what was happening. He was trying to
- 15:47Speaker 1: make up with it, make up for it with some kisses. Yeah,
- 15:50Speaker 1: So what Angie said, was I'm dreaming about that again?
- 15:54Speaker 1: You with someone else? Him? I'm sorry, kiss, kiss, sorry
- 15:59Speaker 1: for being with someone else in your dream. Okay, kiss kiss?
- 16:04Speaker 1: Have you seen that meme? It's like it's it's like
- 16:08Speaker 1: it's like, have you seen them that the husband's been
- 16:11Speaker 1: getting in trouble? Her? Thank God you're not in trouble
- 16:16Speaker 1: because we're going on holiday. Ah. Okay, Hey, I gotta
- 16:20Speaker 1: say I liked like the you just said. Say, hey,
- 16:24Speaker 1: he's like, it is what it is. I'm sorry that
- 16:25Speaker 1: I actually did on you in your dream. Yes, so
- 16:27Speaker 1: now you know that the kiss is this? Listen one
- 16:29Speaker 1: more time.
- 16:32Speaker 7: About that.
- 16:33Speaker 4: I must not where someone else.
- 16:36Speaker 7: I'm start sorry for pink someone else a dreamer?
- 16:42Speaker 1: Can That's good?
- 16:51Speaker 7: Have you seen them in your husband's again in trouble?
- 16:59Speaker 7: Can you?
- 17:07Speaker 1: We're going on holiday tomorrow. Okay. So what do we
- 17:15Speaker 1: think Abby versus Angie? The final group stage? This is tough,
- 17:21Speaker 1: very different because normally we've had like a clear winner
- 17:25Speaker 1: kind of both of these. Oh I think got to
- 17:30Speaker 1: say yeah, I think Angie. Angie's boyfriend did do better.
- 17:36Speaker 1: He did a better job at making her feel secure, validated,
- 17:43Speaker 1: not that. And again, it's a game I don't want
- 17:44Speaker 1: to say Abby's boyfriend doesn't make her feel secure. Yeah,
- 17:47Speaker 1: but it also is hard because again nature of the beast,
- 17:50Speaker 1: it's how the game works. Because Abby's boyfriend has obviously
- 17:53Speaker 1: heard this a few times, so he's kind of like,
- 17:55Speaker 1: come on, you know by the sounds of it. This
- 17:59Speaker 1: Angie's result to what Abby's boyfriend did the first time,
- 18:02Speaker 1: I think that is yeah, she said that he the
- 18:04Speaker 1: very first time. He was like no, maybe, I'm sorry. Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 1: not the seventh and Angie's probably are the first time
- 18:10Speaker 1: he's done it. Okay, but once again, yeah, we don't matter.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Our opinions mean nothing. Our opinions mean absolutely nothing. So
- 18:17Speaker 1: in the comments, let us know what you think and vote, Yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 1: you're either Angie's boyfriend that was the second one, or
- 18:23Speaker 1: Abby's boyfriend who was the first one. Now, next week
- 18:29Speaker 1: there is a grace period, so we are going to
- 18:32Speaker 1: count all the votes from the three episodes and come
- 18:35Speaker 1: to you with the three finalists moving to the gold
- 18:39Speaker 1: medal matches, and we will announcing them and getting contact
- 18:42Speaker 1: with them, and also Jake and I will pick the
- 18:46Speaker 1: competitor who goes immediately to the gold medal match. Yes,
- 18:50Speaker 1: so very exciting. Yeah. Yeah, And we'll give you a
- 18:52Speaker 1: little recap on everyone's competition up until this point, the winners.
- 18:56Speaker 1: So you remember, all right, sounds good, sounds great, Oddie,
- 19:06Speaker 1: I actually had a I guess you could say cheating
- 19:10Speaker 1: experience yesterday. A scandal, scandal not you on the on
- 19:15Speaker 1: the topic of cheating ship randomly right. Best was in
- 19:20Speaker 1: the shower I was. I was actually watching the Summer
- 19:23Speaker 1: Turning Pretty and folding. I had it on my laptop
- 19:27Speaker 1: on my bed, and then I was folding some laundry
- 19:28Speaker 1: and a good being a good boyfriend, and uh, from
- 19:34Speaker 1: the shower just goes she just like caught in my
- 19:36Speaker 1: name and she was like if I She goes, if
- 19:39Speaker 1: you ever cheated on me? Would you tell me? And
- 19:43Speaker 1: I was like, oh, I was like what is she
- 19:46Speaker 1: trying to? I was like, there's a right answer to this.
- 19:50Speaker 1: So I was just like, well, I wouldn't cheat on you.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Good answer. So I don't even I don't even. No.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I was like, doesn't compute in my brain. I'll play
- 19:59Speaker 1: your game. Yeah, your games. She goes, yeah, like what
- 20:02Speaker 1: if you tripped and fell into someone's vagina or whatever?
- 20:05Speaker 9: So she said, She's the classic like oh, yeah.
- 20:12Speaker 1: And so and again I said, hey, look, never going
- 20:16Speaker 1: to happen, never ever going to happen. Stand on business.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I'll standing on business.
- 20:20Speaker 9: And so I said, well, I was like, I want
- 20:22Speaker 9: to see what this pitch is getting at. So I said,
- 20:24Speaker 9: would you ever tell me if if you cheated on me?
- 20:27Speaker 9: She hit me back with the exact same answer. So
- 20:29Speaker 9: I was thinking, so this is where we lie.
- 20:31Speaker 1: It was like, I was like, what was the point
- 20:32Speaker 1: of this conversation if all you were doing was testing me? Literally? Yeah? Interesting?
- 20:38Speaker 1: So well, I think it was a good test because
- 20:40Speaker 1: you had the same answer. She obviously already pre established
- 20:43Speaker 1: that answer in her head, and she wanted to see
- 20:44Speaker 1: if you're on the same page. I was wondering, because
- 20:47Speaker 1: you could have taken that anyway. I mean, like obviously not.
- 20:51Speaker 1: And if I was to say yes, I would tell you.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Is she then going to say, so you would cheat
- 20:57Speaker 1: on me? What that's the point? I think she was
- 21:01Speaker 1: a little bit bored. I think she was. I think
- 21:03Speaker 1: because yesterday I had to We're going to talk about
- 21:07Speaker 1: it pretty soon. The summer I turned pretty I had
- 21:10Speaker 1: to watch all of the episodes leading up to the
- 21:15Speaker 1: finale of season two. I'd watched seven episodes in one day.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I had to. I did got to. I did. I
- 21:22Speaker 1: got to. Yeah, I come on, mat, it's all about mindset.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I got back from wherever I was. We were doing
- 21:28Speaker 1: something about midday and I got home like one thirty,
- 21:30Speaker 1: and I was like, ah, she's got to watch TV
- 21:34Speaker 1: for the rest of the day. That's I gotta talk
- 21:36Speaker 1: about on the pod, Like I'm busy, I can't make
- 21:38Speaker 1: any play. Yeah. I kind of did. Like I just
- 21:42Speaker 1: brought my laptop with me around the house and doing laundry,
- 21:45Speaker 1: and I was still productive, and I just wasn't paying
- 21:49Speaker 1: attention to Beth, and so I think she got bored
- 21:52Speaker 1: and she was like, what would you? She was just
- 21:56Speaker 1: called my name and I was like what, I'm busy
- 21:59Speaker 1: the whole afternoon. That is funny. That is funny. She
- 22:02Speaker 1: ended up watching the last two episodes with me because
- 22:04Speaker 1: she's watched them, and she was like looking at me
- 22:06Speaker 1: for my reactions to shit, because fuck, the show gets cringey.
- 22:09Speaker 1: I gotta say it's cringey but also good. We'll get
- 22:12Speaker 1: to that. We'll get to that. But before we do, Jake,
- 22:15Speaker 1: we have to plug our best thing. I reckon. We've
- 22:20Speaker 1: got going, which is our Patreon if you guys want
- 22:23Speaker 1: an extra episode like this, but also the book club
- 22:27Speaker 1: early and heaps more perks. We're doing giveaways. We're also
- 22:30Speaker 1: going to be giving away, not giving away, posting a
- 22:34Speaker 1: goggle Box type episode of the season finale of season two.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Yes on there, just like we did for our season one,
- 22:39Speaker 1: but also plug the merch once more. Plug the merch.
- 22:43Speaker 1: You guys get a ten percent discount over on Patriarch.
- 22:46Speaker 1: That's right, all all four five dollars. I almost couldn't
- 22:50Speaker 1: say it because it's so cheap. Yeah shit, I was
- 22:52Speaker 1: about to say, wait, wait, wait, don't tell them the price
- 22:53Speaker 1: because we might need to up. Yeah. We just want
- 22:56Speaker 1: to have the most valuable yeah, in the world, which
- 23:00Speaker 1: I think we're on route to do in terms of
- 23:03Speaker 1: like I feel like, in terms of the amount of
- 23:04Speaker 1: content you get and the perks, yeah, one hundred percent,
- 23:07Speaker 1: and like we don't mention it that much. But the
- 23:09Speaker 1: batter community over there in the group chats like sharing,
- 23:12Speaker 1: everyone's sharing their beautiful like book collections, their kindles, like
- 23:15Speaker 1: the stuff they're buying. I want a kindle, Yeah, I
- 23:18Speaker 1: want a Kindle community, man, dude. I've seen videos of
- 23:21Speaker 1: people like getting ready for They're like, it'll be like,
- 23:23Speaker 1: what are you doing tonight? And they would just be like,
- 23:25Speaker 1: it'll be like that sound effects where it's a bang
- 23:28Speaker 1: like fang and they just like do an action. Yeah,
- 23:31Speaker 1: And it's them setting up getting in bed with their
- 23:34Speaker 1: kindle people, right. They get in their pajamas, have a shower,
- 23:37Speaker 1: get in their pajamas, have a kindle that's attached to
- 23:39Speaker 1: their bed head and the kindle comes out on a
- 23:41Speaker 1: tripod arm in front of their face. They have all
- 23:44Speaker 1: body under the blankets and a clicker to click the
- 23:46Speaker 1: page to move the pages. And I was like, the
- 23:48Speaker 1: dream is the dream? That is so ua? Yeah? Yeah,
- 23:55Speaker 1: if sleep wasn't a must, I actually would read all
- 23:59Speaker 1: night genuinely, genuinely, genuinely, I actually would. And it's crazy
- 24:03Speaker 1: and I feel like my ADHD is going to just
- 24:05Speaker 1: get bored of it soon and I'm just gonna laugh
- 24:07Speaker 1: it up. While do you do you think you're reading
- 24:10Speaker 1: too much for your ADHD? Is that possible? Just for
- 24:14Speaker 1: your ADHD? And like how we know you act about things? Yeah,
- 24:19Speaker 1: Like my current obsession is your attention span with things.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I like it, but also like you to stay there
- 24:27Speaker 1: for the long run. Yeah, because like most things in
- 24:30Speaker 1: your life, like activity, hobbies wise, last, what did you
- 24:33Speaker 1: say about a year Yeah? Yeah, a year of reading? Yeah,
- 24:37Speaker 1: how many books that can pump out? Let's get reading
- 24:41Speaker 1: tick when they say try everything in your twenties. Mate.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Well anyway, anyway, guys go join page on. Yes up
- 24:51Speaker 1: next though, we've got i G question of the week.
- 24:56Speaker 1: This one's fun. It is very fun. So we put
- 25:01Speaker 1: on the IG question. Oh, we put on the IG question.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I think I need water o his dime. So we
- 25:09Speaker 1: put on the IG question. Tell us what you said
- 25:12Speaker 1: to him and we will tell you what he hurt. Yeah.
- 25:16Speaker 1: So basically, we're going to get in the mind of
- 25:20Speaker 1: some toxic males and some of them are toxic. Oh yeah,
- 25:25Speaker 1: most of them probably and nine percent of them, and
- 25:28Speaker 1: try and interpret what they would have heard if they
- 25:32Speaker 1: would receive hearing these things. Yeah, so toxic mindset on. Okay,
- 25:38Speaker 1: don't want to go first? Yeah, sure, this one's actually
- 25:41Speaker 1: maybe you don't need a toxic mindset for this. We
- 25:43Speaker 1: might like this. I don't think they all are toxic,
- 25:44Speaker 1: but some of them you'll definitely be like, yeah, what
- 25:48Speaker 1: she said? Can we just sit in and watch Star
- 25:52Speaker 1: Wars tonight. Did we hear see what I hear? She
- 25:58Speaker 1: wants a ring on that finger? Oh? This is what
- 26:02Speaker 1: this is? This is what I hear. I really want
- 26:05Speaker 1: you to put a ring on my finger. That's what
- 26:06Speaker 1: I heard. I would hear you did something wrong? What
- 26:13Speaker 1: when would when so you took it positive? When would
- 26:17Speaker 1: Beth ever say that to you? Never? She wants my love? No,
- 26:21Speaker 1: she did something more, she did run something wrong, and
- 26:23Speaker 1: she's trying to like make it up to you. Because
- 26:25Speaker 1: that's so so I'm like my mindset should be what
- 26:29Speaker 1: have you done wrong? Why are you waving nicety? Yeah,
- 26:32Speaker 1: that's how I would take it with Cassie because she
- 26:34Speaker 1: hates Star Wars and like the Hobbit and ship. Yeah,
- 26:37Speaker 1: because I've always like when we scroll through stuff on
- 26:40Speaker 1: like Netflix, I'm like always stop at the Hobbit and
- 26:42Speaker 1: I'm like, come on, no, no aside. And she also
- 26:49Speaker 1: wouldn't click on, like if she did want me to
- 26:51Speaker 1: put a ring on her finger, the connection there, Yeah,
- 26:54Speaker 1: but she would click on if she did something wrong.
- 26:56Speaker 1: The connection there. Okay, I'd be like look yeah, but
- 27:01Speaker 1: first of all, yes, to be fair, you're like the
- 27:04Speaker 1: angel on one shoulder the positive and I'm like the devil, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 27:09Speaker 1: the angel, the angel on this show is like, she
- 27:11Speaker 1: wants you to she wants she wants to ring on
- 27:13Speaker 1: that finger. And that was like, but what did she do? Yeah?
- 27:15Speaker 1: What did she do? Okay? What she said, I've got
- 27:21Speaker 1: a headache?
- 27:23Speaker 7: Easy?
- 27:24Speaker 1: What she what? What? What we hear? As men, I
- 27:28Speaker 1: haven't drank any water today. I was going to say
- 27:33Speaker 1: she needs some water. Yeah, you may as well just
- 27:37Speaker 1: say I haven't had any water and now I'm going
- 27:39Speaker 1: to waste your time with a headache. That's so it is? Yeah, okay,
- 27:49Speaker 1: boys are so logical. What she said don't stay out
- 27:55Speaker 1: all night? Oh I would hear? Or what toxic? Don't
- 28:01Speaker 1: stay out all night? Is she cares about me? Toxic?
- 28:08Speaker 1: Brain on? If she said that, I'd be thinking, is
- 28:12Speaker 1: that a challenge? Oh shit, that's good. Tell me what
- 28:18Speaker 1: to do? I think that's it. Don't tell me what
- 28:21Speaker 1: to do? What do you don't tell me what to do? Shita?
- 28:27Speaker 1: Don't stay out all night? Is I challenge you to
- 28:29Speaker 1: stay out on it? Yeah? I dare you to stay
- 28:32Speaker 1: out on that. We got there, We got there? Okay
- 28:35Speaker 1: what she said? I think we would be better off
- 28:38Speaker 1: being friends. What what we heard as men, I hate
- 28:47Speaker 1: you and you mean nothing to me. Oh, I would
- 28:50Speaker 1: hear only for now, She doesn't realize yet another challenge. Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 29:01Speaker 1: I see Yeah you think okay, okay, oh no, yeah,
- 29:04Speaker 1: So say again, what was saying I think we would
- 29:06Speaker 1: be better off being friends. I would be adding more
- 29:11Speaker 1: yeah to the sentence. I think we'd be better off
- 29:14Speaker 1: being friends just for the time being.
- 29:17Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, stick around. I think I might just stick
- 29:22Speaker 8: around for a while. Yeah, she realized, Oh, men are fucked.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Yeah, men hit. The thing about me as well is
- 29:32Speaker 1: if that actually happened to me, I'd be like, we
- 29:36Speaker 1: are not friends. I'd be like, no, no, no, be honest.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Yeah I liked you. Yeah, like, no, I actually I
- 29:45Speaker 1: like you. And if you don't just tell me that
- 29:47Speaker 1: if you don't want it to work, if it's not
- 29:49Speaker 1: going to work out, we're not friends. Yeah. It's funny though,
- 29:53Speaker 1: when you're like eighteen. When I'm younger and I would
- 29:56Speaker 1: have copped it. I would have been like, yeah, but
- 29:58Speaker 1: I don't think you have the emotional intelligen to say no, no, no, no,
- 30:02Speaker 1: like I like you, you kind of like want to
- 30:04Speaker 1: avoid that conversation and then for some reason, getting friend
- 30:08Speaker 1: zoned was such a big thing back then. Yeah, you
- 30:11Speaker 1: almost gaslight yourself into saying like, oh, she's just testing
- 30:14Speaker 1: me's testing my she's testing my longevity, my ability to
- 30:22Speaker 1: she's testing my commitment, my commitment. If she's testing my commitment,
- 30:26Speaker 1: that's a good one. Yeah, Okay, this one's a little confusing.
- 30:31Speaker 1: What she said, you can come back when you give
- 30:35Speaker 1: me cake instead of bread crumbs. Oh what I would hear?
- 30:40Speaker 1: What would be cake and bread crumbs? Eh, I'm hungry. No, Actually,
- 30:49Speaker 1: I feel like that one's pretty straightforward. We're also most
- 30:52Speaker 1: men are too dumb to know what bread crumbing is.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I would say we only know what bread coming is
- 30:56Speaker 1: because of this podcast. Yeah I agree, But yeah, I
- 31:00Speaker 1: think many dudes would pick up on that. The analogy
- 31:02Speaker 1: there not at all. You're wasting your time and analogy. Yeah,
- 31:05Speaker 1: you hit me with the fact you can come back
- 31:06Speaker 1: when you actually start being a fucking man. Yeah, that's
- 31:09Speaker 1: what it is. Okay, what she said, I need you
- 31:14Speaker 1: to stop promising things you can't deliver. What he heard
- 31:20Speaker 1: is so she said, I need you to stop promising
- 31:27Speaker 1: on things you can't deliver. Toxic man here. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:32Speaker 1: give me I'm trying to switch. Give me a toxic
- 31:34Speaker 1: mind onto me. She's onto me about what like I'm
- 31:40Speaker 1: putting in the bare minimum? Oh, ship like she's onto me.
- 31:43Speaker 1: This is what I hear. Right, two months of effort
- 31:48Speaker 1: and then back to normal. Oh yeah, give me the
- 31:52Speaker 1: flick of the switch and the toxic Yeah. Far, two
- 31:55Speaker 1: months of effort, then back to normal. You're right. Yeah.
- 31:59Speaker 1: What he should would hear is this should be a
- 32:02Speaker 1: wake up call because I love this woman. Yeah, but
- 32:05Speaker 1: he's not hearing that. He's not hearing that. Yeah, all
- 32:09Speaker 1: I would some would say boring, No way not if
- 32:12Speaker 1: you're in this scenario, this could all be taken so
- 32:17Speaker 1: out of context. Okay, what she said, I don't mind
- 32:25Speaker 1: how much you spend on an engagement ring. What I
- 32:30Speaker 1: hear it better be two to three months salary. Yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 1: What I hear is it does matter. It does matter. Yeah,
- 32:38Speaker 1: it matters how much you spend on my engagement ring. Yeah,
- 32:43Speaker 1: fuck breath. And I looked it up the other day
- 32:45Speaker 1: because I have I told you about. I have a
- 32:49Speaker 1: thing once a month for I get an edification on
- 32:50Speaker 1: my phone to do a ring check in, So I
- 32:54Speaker 1: started doing this thing because I mean not to be harsh,
- 33:00Speaker 1: but I am not going to propose anytime soon. Yeah right,
- 33:04Speaker 1: But when I do want to propose, I do want
- 33:09Speaker 1: to know what ring to get, so I would I
- 33:12Speaker 1: will obviously go, I'll get like help from my sister,
- 33:15Speaker 1: help from Beth's best friend, and help from her sister.
- 33:19Speaker 1: But at the same time, I also like, I want
- 33:21Speaker 1: it to be the ring Beth has chosen. So I
- 33:25Speaker 1: have this thing now where once a month I get
- 33:28Speaker 1: a notification to do a ring check in, and so
- 33:30Speaker 1: I'll text Beth or if I'm with her, I'll be like, Okay,
- 33:32Speaker 1: show me your favorite ring right now, show me the
- 33:33Speaker 1: ring you would want, what it looks like. So then
- 33:37Speaker 1: in like five years, if that's what I'm ready to propose,
- 33:42Speaker 1: she's going to be having gotten all these ring check ins.
- 33:45Speaker 1: But then one of the check ins is going to
- 33:46Speaker 1: be like this is the one where it's like I'm
- 33:48Speaker 1: going to buy it now, and she's done. It's always
- 33:50Speaker 1: and it's going to be surprised too. Fair it's really
- 33:52Speaker 1: good from you. Yeah, really once a month ring check
- 33:55Speaker 1: ins and yeah, that's and we looked it up because
- 33:59Speaker 1: I had a ring check in the other day and
- 34:00Speaker 1: she goes how she was looking them up and she goes, oh,
- 34:03Speaker 1: how's this one that I literally would be my dream ring?
- 34:05Speaker 1: It is only like two grand and I was like,
- 34:07Speaker 1: that does seem cheap for an engagement ring? And then
- 34:09Speaker 1: we looked up what's the average and it's two three
- 34:11Speaker 1: months salary. Firstly, I think it's really really cute from
- 34:16Speaker 1: you and you have really good intentions. But also I
- 34:18Speaker 1: feel like that'd be such a terrible slash good technique
- 34:21Speaker 1: for a toxic man to bread kwamba woman and lead
- 34:24Speaker 1: them on. Yeah, because I could up and leave. Yeah.
- 34:27Speaker 1: And she's like, but what was it that you have
- 34:30Speaker 1: good intention r? Yeah, because it's so cute you show
- 34:35Speaker 1: signs of your commitment. Yeah, it's such a good point.
- 34:40Speaker 1: What was with that ring thing? How can we did that?
- 34:42Speaker 1: But also with us, I guess, so we pay ourselves
- 34:46Speaker 1: minimum wage or yeah, we just pay ourselves as much
- 34:48Speaker 1: as we need. Really, yeah, it's basically a minimum wage.
- 34:52Speaker 1: But also so the business makes a certain amount of
- 34:54Speaker 1: money and then you and I, yeah, minimum wage? So
- 34:59Speaker 1: is it what goes in a my personal bank account
- 35:01Speaker 1: or it goes into our partnership Because the partnership is
- 35:04Speaker 1: not to brag quite a bit more. Yeah, so if
- 35:09Speaker 1: you come with some stinky thing, yeah, got paved. No no, no,
- 35:13Speaker 1: that's when we'll go to a company and put ourselves
- 35:14Speaker 1: on salary and then it's three months of mine by
- 35:19Speaker 1: the time. Yeah, surely will be on Well. Hey, I've
- 35:21Speaker 1: spoken about it on the pod business purchase. Yeah, big
- 35:25Speaker 1: expense for sure. Okay, is it my term? Yeah? What
- 35:31Speaker 1: she said, can you please take out the trash? What
- 35:36Speaker 1: he heard? I think I have a good one. I
- 35:41Speaker 1: think I don't think I hear anything different. What he
- 35:44Speaker 1: hears again, toxic mindset. This is what he heard. Can
- 35:49Speaker 1: you please going the perilous, soul binding journey of taking
- 35:55Speaker 1: out the trash? It's going to be so hard. You're
- 35:58Speaker 1: going to go through hell to do this, but I
- 36:01Speaker 1: need you to do it. Please. Oh oh yeah, no,
- 36:05Speaker 1: that's good. Yeah. He walks through the fiery depths of
- 36:09Speaker 1: hell and back for me. Okay, what she said, we
- 36:18Speaker 1: can watch a movie on my bed. What he hears,
- 36:24Speaker 1: Let's have sex what yeah, yeah, yeah, she's like the
- 36:31Speaker 1: lounge is in his company. Yeah, my bed's heaps come.
- 36:34Speaker 1: We can lie down in my bed in the living room.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I hear is let's get naked. Yeah, let's getting Oh no,
- 36:46Speaker 1: bad mindset, switch your back, switching back. What you should
- 36:50Speaker 1: be hearing is the bed is just comfier. No, I
- 36:54Speaker 1: think I honestly think that's what it means. It probably does,
- 36:58Speaker 1: unless you didn't have a living I don't think that's top. Yeah. No,
- 37:01Speaker 1: And like if you have roommates or like if you're
- 37:04Speaker 1: just seeing someone and they have a roommate, they want
- 37:06Speaker 1: to be in your bedroom to have sex. Yeah, you
- 37:09Speaker 1: wouldn't care if you if you want to have sexy,
- 37:10Speaker 1: be out in the lounge. Okay, what she said, this
- 37:20Speaker 1: is the last time we speak. What he is see
- 37:25Speaker 1: you next week. Truth. Truth. So I'll see you next week.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I'm going to try and continually before Yeah, I am
- 37:43Speaker 1: going to message. Yeah, we'll see about that. Let's see
- 37:49Speaker 1: about that. Okay. What she said, You're willy is the
- 37:52Speaker 1: perfect size. Ah, what I hear, your willy is small.
- 37:59Speaker 1: I was gonna say, Oh, I wasn't in the toxic mindset.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Oh I was in toxic. I heard I was insecure. No,
- 38:05Speaker 1: I was an insecure mindset. So he wants to date me?
- 38:08Speaker 1: Oh if you No, I actually I was gonna say,
- 38:14Speaker 1: I feel like it was a girlfriend thing to say
- 38:15Speaker 1: your willy is a perfect size. But I guess if
- 38:18Speaker 1: you had been sleeping with someone and you were, like
- 38:20Speaker 1: I guess dating and hadn't asked her to be a
- 38:22Speaker 1: girlfriend yet, it wouldn't be weird first for someone to
- 38:25Speaker 1: say that if you had been sleeping with them either
- 38:27Speaker 1: or so before dating she wants to date me, or
- 38:30Speaker 1: whilst dating she really loves me mmmm, Or would you
- 38:34Speaker 1: say your dick is small? Yeh? One of those three depends,
- 38:39Speaker 1: Actually it depends. Okay, what's the context. Did she bring
- 38:43Speaker 1: it up like, hey, I just have to tell you
- 38:44Speaker 1: something like your willy is the perfect size? Or am
- 38:48Speaker 1: I like that have a big dick? And then she
- 38:50Speaker 1: goes it's perfect? Probably that yeah, that means it's small.
- 38:53Speaker 1: That means it's small. You If you ask, like, have
- 38:58Speaker 1: I got a big willie and then she says it's perfect,
- 39:01Speaker 1: then it's small. But if she's brought it up like
- 39:05Speaker 1: I just want to let you know, that's a great
- 39:06Speaker 1: tip for all the women out there, because most men
- 39:10Speaker 1: are extremely insecure creatures. If you bring up on your
- 39:14Speaker 1: own accord and tell them their peanuts is large or
- 39:18Speaker 1: the perfect size that will gas them up more than
- 39:20Speaker 1: you know. That will definitely gas them up because it's
- 39:24Speaker 1: very insecure and stupid. But she's thinking about my will. Yeah,
- 39:27Speaker 1: super insecure, stupid, but hey, we'll leave it to you
- 39:29Speaker 1: guys to fix our insecurity because men are trash and immature.
- 39:35Speaker 1: We will not fix it stupid. All right, this one,
- 39:43Speaker 1: I don't know if I know what she said. I
- 39:47Speaker 1: want you to be happy even if it's not with me.
- 39:51Speaker 1: She doesn't want me to be happy. Oh, I want
- 39:55Speaker 1: you to be happy even if it's not with me,
- 39:58Speaker 1: because I want her. I would hear, Yeah, yeah, I
- 40:05Speaker 1: would hear I don't want you to be happy, especially
- 40:07Speaker 1: if it's not with me. I would also hear, like,
- 40:08Speaker 1: just tell me, don't love me. I want you to
- 40:11Speaker 1: be happy even if it's not with me. So is
- 40:14Speaker 1: the context of that, like he's breaking up with her,
- 40:16Speaker 1: like you know, it's all good, thank you for breaking
- 40:18Speaker 1: up with me, like thank you for not wasting my
- 40:19Speaker 1: time or whatever. I want you to be happy even
- 40:21Speaker 1: if it's not with me. Well, you could take it
- 40:22Speaker 1: either way, because it could be her breaking up with him,
- 40:25Speaker 1: And then she's like, I still want you to be happy.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Even if it's not with me. That's Robert Saltan the wound.
- 40:29Speaker 1: That's like favor sending TAML on that letter. Bro, that's
- 40:33Speaker 1: kicking a man while it's down. True, I'm only happy
- 40:38Speaker 1: with you. I'm done, okay, And my last one. What
- 40:42Speaker 1: she says, I'm only looking for something casual right now.
- 40:46Speaker 1: What she says, I'm only looking for something casual right now.
- 40:53Speaker 1: It's usually a man saying that. I would hear. So
- 40:59Speaker 1: I'm good at sex, but I'm not boyfriend material. Yeah okay,
- 41:05Speaker 1: yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah. So I'm seeing someone and
- 41:06Speaker 1: she says to me, I just want something casual right now. Yeah,
- 41:13Speaker 1: to be fair, it is what it's she has said.
- 41:15Speaker 1: What she said, like, I just know you toxic mind
- 41:18Speaker 1: initiated a right toxic mind in we get to have
- 41:21Speaker 1: sex batties. It is time. It's been a couple of weeks.
- 41:40Speaker 1: We have watched seasons one to seven of the Summer
- 41:43Speaker 1: I Turned Pretty. Time to talk about it, But you
- 41:46Speaker 1: say seasons one to seven. Sorry, we have watched season two,
- 41:49Speaker 1: episodes one to seven of the Summer I Turn Pretty,
- 41:52Speaker 1: and it's time to talk about it. Yeah, as you
- 41:54Speaker 1: can tell, we're both very excited, and I binged it yesterday,
- 41:58Speaker 1: so i have it all pretty freshen my mind, and
- 42:01Speaker 1: I've got last time, I didn't have notes, and it
- 42:03Speaker 1: kind of was harder for me to like remember what happened. Man,
- 42:06Speaker 1: I got good notes or not noted up, bro, And
- 42:09Speaker 1: I've got thoughts and feelings as well for the episodes. Okay, okay, okay,
- 42:14Speaker 1: So I say we go through the episodes and tell
- 42:16Speaker 1: the people how we're feeling. All right, you gonna be
- 42:18Speaker 1: funny too, just so for me to be like, hey,
- 42:21Speaker 1: episode one and I've got like ten points for episode one, yeah,
- 42:24Speaker 1: sort of kind of what happened? Or should I like
- 42:28Speaker 1: read them and then just do like the quick synopsis
- 42:31Speaker 1: of an episode, what do you reckon? Like if I
- 42:33Speaker 1: read it and then go yep, cool quick synopsis? Fuck it?
- 42:37Speaker 1: Episode one. It opens up with Belly. She's daydreaming, right,
- 42:43Speaker 1: and she's dreaming about being next to the pool and
- 42:46Speaker 1: cousins and Jeremiah's there, Conrad's there, Susanna's there, Susanna Susanna,
- 42:53Speaker 1: and Conrad comes over and he's like comes down. He's
- 42:56Speaker 1: like being all kind of like romantic with her, and
- 42:58Speaker 1: Jeremiah goes, oh, yeah, we get it. You guys are
- 43:00Speaker 1: into each other. Susannah comes out a to you last
- 43:02Speaker 1: Oh my dream come true. Comrade comes down and kisses her,
- 43:05Speaker 1: and then she wakes up. She's actually at school, was
- 43:07Speaker 1: a dream. She wakes up A bomb dropped to start,
- 43:12Speaker 1: I know. She wakes up quickly, and then she instantly goes,
- 43:16Speaker 1: I wasn't at Cousins and Susannah's dead just straightaway drops
- 43:21Speaker 1: the problem. Susannah is just dead, crazy, right, and I
- 43:24Speaker 1: was kind of like, fuck bro. So we go from
- 43:29Speaker 1: there to bell rings and then the teacher goes, Okay,
- 43:31Speaker 1: enjoy your summer. So we've all we've basically gone. And
- 43:34Speaker 1: from the end of last season they were least summer
- 43:38Speaker 1: was over, and now at the start of this season
- 43:40Speaker 1: is the start of the next summer. They're not going
- 43:42Speaker 1: to Cousins this summer, right, Suzanna's died. They're all devo.
- 43:47Speaker 1: She's like lost contact with Jeremiah and Conrad for reasons
- 43:50Speaker 1: we don't really know yet, right, and then we do know,
- 43:55Speaker 1: but we do know now. We do know now. So
- 43:58Speaker 1: she's also been doing pretty shitty at school. Grades low,
- 44:03Speaker 1: lost volleyball Captaincy Stephen. My fucking guy. I fucking love Steve.
- 44:09Speaker 1: I hate Stephen. Why you like Stephen? He is the
- 44:13Speaker 1: most jarring kid.
- 44:14Speaker 2: I love it.
- 44:16Speaker 1: He's so cringe I've got written down here. And then
- 44:19Speaker 1: him going to Priston, He's just like the most annoying
- 44:22Speaker 1: thing ever. He's going to Princeton. He's gotten into this
- 44:25Speaker 1: Ivy League school, and hey, I'm more than happy to
- 44:28Speaker 1: admit he's the cringiest personal life. Yeah, but he is
- 44:33Speaker 1: my favorite character. I think this is fitting to say, like,
- 44:36Speaker 1: you know, when someone has a punchable head, that is Stephen.
- 44:41Speaker 1: You know who else I love is Taylor. I like Taylor. Taylor,
- 44:44Speaker 1: I don't know, I like Taylor. So then they have
- 44:50Speaker 1: the graduation ceremony in that and then but all the
- 44:54Speaker 1: while this is happening in this first episode, there's a
- 44:56Speaker 1: lot of flashbacks happening of memories, and so she flashes
- 45:00Speaker 1: back to the moment her and Conrad kiss at the
- 45:02Speaker 1: end of season one. She's walking back with Conrad and
- 45:05Speaker 1: she goes, oh, I actually, I want to be honest
- 45:07Speaker 1: with you. The other day, Jeremiah admitted he had feelings
- 45:11Speaker 1: for me, and then we kissed, and Conrad didn't know that,
- 45:13Speaker 1: and then so she told Conrad and he's kind of
- 45:15Speaker 1: like okay. So then she's like, oh, you know, we
- 45:20Speaker 1: need to tell him and he's like let me. Then
- 45:22Speaker 1: Belly says, no, let me. They go inside. So this
- 45:26Speaker 1: is like back at the end of summer last season,
- 45:28Speaker 1: and she goes in. She goes to tell Jeremiah and
- 45:30Speaker 1: he's like, oh, hey, Belly, coming in, and then he
- 45:31Speaker 1: starts to said to her, I think we should tell
- 45:33Speaker 1: people about us because he thinks that they are they're
- 45:35Speaker 1: a thing. And then she goes, oh, yeah, I actually
- 45:38Speaker 1: wanted to talk about that. I was just down on
- 45:41Speaker 1: the beach with Conrad and we were talking and then
- 45:43Speaker 1: we kissed, and Jeremih' is like the fuck And then
- 45:47Speaker 1: she goes, yeah, we wanted to tell you, and he's
- 45:49Speaker 1: like we You're already a WII and I was kind
- 45:51Speaker 1: of like, shit, fair boy. He's so fair, shit bro,
- 45:55Speaker 1: and he was pissed. He was like, you know what,
- 45:57Speaker 1: fuck it, get out of my room, leave me alone.
- 46:00Speaker 1: You know how everyone's like team Conrad or team Jeremiah. Yeah,
- 46:04Speaker 1: where is Team Belly's the problem? I want to say,
- 46:11Speaker 1: never met a more delusional person in my life. Before
- 46:14Speaker 1: we get into it into it. I would just like
- 46:16Speaker 1: to say, Belly is, hands down, please, no one hate me,
- 46:23Speaker 1: the most selfish person alive. Yeah, these two poor boys, Yeah,
- 46:28Speaker 1: they also have their issues. Yes, I admit they both
- 46:30Speaker 1: have issues. Right, but poor Conrad and Jeremiah, they don't
- 46:34Speaker 1: have a mum anymore. They both don't really like their dad.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Conrad hates his dad, Jeremiah Stinard hate his dad, and
- 46:40Speaker 1: now they fucking hate each other. They have no one,
- 46:43Speaker 1: and Belly's like, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme. I want
- 46:47Speaker 1: both of you and none of you at the same time. Yeah,
- 46:50Speaker 1: it's insane. I know it's called very negative, but it's
- 46:54Speaker 1: called the Sammurai turn. Pretty it should be called the
- 46:56Speaker 1: Summer I turned nasassistic. I was gonna say, don't shoot
- 46:59Speaker 1: where you Yeah, the summer I turned narcissistic. Fuck me.
- 47:04Speaker 1: So they But in this first episode, Belly is like
- 47:12Speaker 1: getting over grieving the death of Susanna and also like
- 47:14Speaker 1: getting over Conrad. Right, so we still don't really know why,
- 47:18Speaker 1: but she's getting over Conrad, and Taylor's kind of like,
- 47:21Speaker 1: let's go to the grad party. Let's go to the
- 47:22Speaker 1: graduation party. We you know, because she convinced her to go.
- 47:26Speaker 1: And then while they're there, she's like, you know, the
- 47:28Speaker 1: best way to get over someone is to get under someone.
- 47:31Speaker 1: I was kind of like, Taylor, I love you, facts
- 47:33Speaker 1: let's go, Belly, get into it. She goes to the party.
- 47:36Speaker 1: She ends up seeing a dude she likes and she's
- 47:38Speaker 1: like talking to him. She goes over and she goes
- 47:40Speaker 1: to kiss the dude and he just goes, oh, he
- 47:43Speaker 1: backs away, and I was kind of thinking, fuck Belly.
- 47:47Speaker 1: He backs way. I don't remember his name. He backs
- 47:50Speaker 1: away and she goes, oh, whoa and he's like yeah,
- 47:51Speaker 1: oh no, and then she's like no, no, all good,
- 47:53Speaker 1: all good, No, it's all good, It's all good. And
- 47:55Speaker 1: then he goes. She goes to walk away, and like
- 47:57Speaker 1: before she leaves, he goes. Belly actually like, could you
- 48:01Speaker 1: put a good word in me for me with your
- 48:02Speaker 1: friend like whatever name was, And I was like, fuck me,
- 48:05Speaker 1: waiter up, Saltan the wound you dick. Oh poor Belly.
- 48:10Speaker 1: And so then she goes and have a big fight
- 48:12Speaker 1: with her brother, and you know they're both just like
- 48:15Speaker 1: grieving in their own ways. She goes home, has a big,
- 48:17Speaker 1: big ass fight with their mum. Her mum was my
- 48:20Speaker 1: favorite character in the last season, but she's obviously ever
- 48:23Speaker 1: since the death of Susannah, and like, while Susannah was sick,
- 48:27Speaker 1: she hasn't been a great mum. She hasn't been there. True,
- 48:29Speaker 1: So yeah, fair. So, also we get to meet Taylor's
- 48:35Speaker 1: boyfriend Milo. Can I say something about Milo? I kind
- 48:38Speaker 1: of like him? What, I don't know, I know, I
- 48:40Speaker 1: kind of like him, Like I just think he just
- 48:43Speaker 1: he's his own person. He's cool, he is cool. He
- 48:45Speaker 1: ends up being a bit of a suspect, but like
- 48:47Speaker 1: he's his own person. Yeah. Initially the first episode, you're like,
- 48:49Speaker 1: he's guy, and Taylor makes sense, go Taylor. Yeah. But
- 48:53Speaker 1: also they like so they're like seven and eighteen or
- 48:58Speaker 1: Taylor and Belly no thing, yeah, seventeen, and then they
- 49:02Speaker 1: kind of like make them look like they're acting like
- 49:04Speaker 1: they're like twenty one, twenty two, twenty three. Crazy. Yeah,
- 49:08Speaker 1: that's what that's what they do in America actually crazy, right. Yeah.
- 49:10Speaker 1: So Belly is upset after this night out. Okay, she
- 49:14Speaker 1: goes to call Jeremiah because Jeremiah hasn't been answering any
- 49:18Speaker 1: of her calls and texts ever since the you know,
- 49:21Speaker 1: he got mad at her own cousins. And then he
- 49:23Speaker 1: answers and he's like hello. She goes, oh, Jeremiah, Hi,
- 49:27Speaker 1: and straight away he's like, are you with my brother?
- 49:29Speaker 1: And I was kind of thinking like what the fuck
- 49:31Speaker 1: because I didn't know everything yet. And then she's like, ah, no,
- 49:33Speaker 1: why and he's like, oh, he's missing. I was thinking,
- 49:38Speaker 1: fuck's gone. Conrade's Comrade's gone. And so he's like, yeah, yeah, no,
- 49:42Speaker 1: he won't answer my text. His roommate told me that
- 49:45Speaker 1: the last thing that happened was he was on the
- 49:46Speaker 1: phone with someone and just said everything is fucked and
- 49:49Speaker 1: just left. And he hasn't seen him since. And so
- 49:52Speaker 1: Belly's like, well fuck, and he goes, yeah, I'm gonna
- 49:53Speaker 1: go to Brown, which is the university he went goes to.
- 49:55Speaker 1: And he's going, I'm gonna go to Brown tomorrow and
- 49:57Speaker 1: I'm going to go find him, and Belly goes, come
- 49:59Speaker 1: on with you, yeah, And all the while during this episode, right,
- 50:03Speaker 1: what happened? This happens throughout the whole season, Belly's having
- 50:08Speaker 1: flashbacks of phone calls with Conrad. Right, and so these
- 50:12Speaker 1: phone calls are friend phone calls. The classic friend phone
- 50:14Speaker 1: call that you have someone you really like, and it's
- 50:17Speaker 1: just before they admit their feelings for each other. So
- 50:19Speaker 1: throughout the whole year, they've been having friend phone calls
- 50:22Speaker 1: and so that's kind of just like where it gets
- 50:26Speaker 1: left off episode two. So she sneaks out to go
- 50:31Speaker 1: find Conrad right with Jeremiah, and so she's sneaking out
- 50:35Speaker 1: and then you realize it's a flashback because she sneaks
- 50:37Speaker 1: out of her house and she actually gets into the
- 50:38Speaker 1: car with Conrad right, and he's come to pick her
- 50:41Speaker 1: up in the middle of winter to go drive to
- 50:43Speaker 1: Cousins to see the snow on the beach. And that's
- 50:45Speaker 1: when you realize all these flashbacks and shit, there are
- 50:50Speaker 1: them actually dating. Yeah, because he says to her, my
- 50:53Speaker 1: mum's so happy that we're dating, and I was like, fuck, Well,
- 50:56Speaker 1: we realized that Belly and Conrad I think it finished
- 50:59Speaker 1: last season on that decided not to see each other
- 51:01Speaker 1: for Jeremiah's sake. Yeah, and then their feelings were too strong. Yeah,
- 51:06Speaker 1: so they started doing it in secret behind Jeremiah's back.
- 51:08Speaker 1: They started off doing that and then stabbing back. Yeah,
- 51:11Speaker 1: and then we find out that Conrad actually way later
- 51:14Speaker 1: does yeah, like he says to Bellie, I spoke to
- 51:16Speaker 1: him and he's dating people and stuff like he said
- 51:18Speaker 1: it's fine, and so he's over you. So she's kind
- 51:20Speaker 1: of like, okay, sweet, yeah we're dating. No questions are
- 51:24Speaker 1: no fucking questions asked bro. Okay, now phase back in.
- 51:28Speaker 1: She's actually on a bus to go sit to the
- 51:31Speaker 1: school to help Jeremiah find Conrad, and she gets to
- 51:35Speaker 1: the comrade's uni and then Jeremiah is straight away like
- 51:40Speaker 1: talking about her and Conrad like being together. She's like,
- 51:44Speaker 1: he goes, oh, I'm at his dorm room or like,
- 51:46Speaker 1: I'm at his dorm building. She gets there and he's like,
- 51:48Speaker 1: I don't know where it is, and she goes, oh,
- 51:50Speaker 1: neither do. I just know it's on the top floor.
- 51:51Speaker 1: And he's like, you didn't come visitim in at Brown
- 51:53Speaker 1: whatever like whatever, whatever, whatever, and she's like, oh, no,
- 51:56Speaker 1: not really, my mum didn't really want me to drive
- 51:58Speaker 1: to Brown whatever. They can't find him. They see his
- 52:01Speaker 1: roommatee and his roommate goes, yeah, he's not answering my
- 52:06Speaker 1: call to text. He needs to be here next Thursday
- 52:08Speaker 1: for his final. So then they go fuck it. Where
- 52:12Speaker 1: does wait? Wait, they do find out where he went? No,
- 52:16Speaker 1: They like it was funny when they went up to
- 52:19Speaker 1: the room and then when they were leaving, Jeremiah said
- 52:21Speaker 1: Belly's name, and then the roommate goes, oh, oh, yeah,
- 52:24Speaker 1: you're Belly. You're Belly. And then she's like yeah, and
- 52:28Speaker 1: she's like, you make Conrad depressed. Yeah, when you guys
- 52:32Speaker 1: broke up, you guys were depressed. Yeah. And Jeremiah's kind
- 52:36Speaker 1: of like agitated and and he like hates Belly still.
- 52:40Speaker 1: He's like, I don't need you here by the way,
- 52:41Speaker 1: and she's like, well, I'm here. So then they find
- 52:43Speaker 1: out he's actually he's in cousins. Someone I think something
- 52:47Speaker 1: about someone said something about him going to a beach,
- 52:49Speaker 1: and so they go, oh easy, he's at Cousins. And
- 52:52Speaker 1: then they go to drive the cousins and they get
- 52:54Speaker 1: a flat tire on the way. They're get in to
- 52:56Speaker 1: fight Belly and Jeremiah, and Belly's kind of like, I'm
- 52:59Speaker 1: so sorry about the all, like they're referencing things that
- 53:01Speaker 1: we don't know about yet, and you know you're gonna
- 53:03Speaker 1: get a flashback. It was really kind of annoying. It
- 53:04Speaker 1: was confusing. I wasn't a big fan of it. The
- 53:07Speaker 1: whole series was just like, so the whole season was flashbacks.
- 53:11Speaker 1: They're getting a big fight, and then Jeremiah's kind of like,
- 53:13Speaker 1: I think Jeremiah is kind of toxic. I like the
- 53:16Speaker 1: facts he was spitting. At this point, everything anyone's done,
- 53:21Speaker 1: Jeremiah has been dog. She's been the victim, and he
- 53:25Speaker 1: actually has been the victim. Fair okay, because he's kind
- 53:28Speaker 1: of like, you know, my mom fucking died and you
- 53:30Speaker 1: weren't there, and she's like, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry,
- 53:33Speaker 1: but I do have to admit b Belly makes everything
- 53:35Speaker 1: about herself. Oh yeah, when we find out at the funeral,
- 53:37Speaker 1: yeahss me, oh yeah. And then then there's another flashback
- 53:42Speaker 1: of the winter trip that Conrad and Belly took to Cousins,
- 53:46Speaker 1: and they go to Cousins and then they get to
- 53:51Speaker 1: see snow on the beach, and she's kind of just
- 53:53Speaker 1: like having these flashbacks of pain because she's not with
- 53:56Speaker 1: Conrad anymore. You don't know how they break up yet,
- 53:59Speaker 1: but she loses her virginity at Cousins with Conrad, and
- 54:04Speaker 1: so it's just an all the more reason why she's
- 54:06Speaker 1: just so connected to him, you know, so fucking connected.
- 54:09Speaker 1: And then they get to the beach house and Cousins
- 54:12Speaker 1: also makes it way worse that she then goes later
- 54:16Speaker 1: on to the other brother ah, way worse, Fuck me dead, bro.
- 54:21Speaker 1: And then they find comrad at Cousins at the end
- 54:23Speaker 1: at the end of episode three, and then the start
- 54:25Speaker 1: of episode three is they find out the reason he's
- 54:28Speaker 1: in Cousins is because someone texted him saying, why is
- 54:30Speaker 1: there for sale? Sign out your house's cousin at your
- 54:32Speaker 1: house and Cousins, So he drives there. He finds out
- 54:36Speaker 1: his auntie, who owned half of the house with his
- 54:38Speaker 1: mum because it was left to them when their dad died,
- 54:40Speaker 1: it's put the house for sale because she's now the
- 54:42Speaker 1: sole owner. He's going to try and figure it out.
- 54:45Speaker 1: And so they're like, well, fuck, like, why do you
- 54:47Speaker 1: always do this? Why are always try and do sit
- 54:48Speaker 1: on your own? Let's just fucking be a fucking man
- 54:51Speaker 1: and just ask for helpful once for fox sakes, And
- 54:54Speaker 1: Comrade's just genuinely to be fair a dick. And so
- 55:00Speaker 1: Belly is becoming Jeam Jeremiah at this point. By the
- 55:02Speaker 1: way you can see she's starting to catch feelings for
- 55:04Speaker 1: Jeremiah so Conrad's being Conrad I've written down. And then
- 55:09Speaker 1: what Belly has told her mum is that she's staying
- 55:11Speaker 1: at Taylor's house because her mum would not have let
- 55:13Speaker 1: her go to Cousins. So then now also Stephen thinks
- 55:16Speaker 1: the same thing. But then Stephen runs into Taylor at
- 55:19Speaker 1: the mall and she's like and he's like, oh, where's
- 55:21Speaker 1: my sister. She's like, oh, she's going to buy stuff
- 55:24Speaker 1: for our periods, run our periods or whatever. And then
- 55:27Speaker 1: he goes, okay, cool, and then she leaves. And then
- 55:30Speaker 1: then and then he texts Belly and she goes like, hey,
- 55:31Speaker 1: you going, and she goes, oh, I'm all good. I'm
- 55:33Speaker 1: at Taylor's house watching the Titanic. And then he goes,
- 55:35Speaker 1: sus just fuck, I was just with Taylor. So then
- 55:40Speaker 1: a little while later Stephen calls Taylor and he goes,
- 55:45Speaker 1: oh I am He calls her out basically yeah, from memory,
- 55:52Speaker 1: I don't really get it. Oh No. He calls her out,
- 55:54Speaker 1: finds out where Bellie actually is, and then he's like,
- 55:56Speaker 1: why didn't they ask me to go to Cousins. And
- 55:58Speaker 1: then he calls Taylor again and says, I'm going to cousins.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Conrad asked me to go, and or from the fucking
- 56:05Speaker 1: first episode, you can tell that Steven is trying to
- 56:08Speaker 1: hit on Taylor. He wants her bad bro. She has
- 56:10Speaker 1: a boyfriend now, and so he goes, Oh, Conrad told
- 56:13Speaker 1: me he wants me to come, So I'm going. And
- 56:15Speaker 1: then she's like, well I'm coming to of course of
- 56:18Speaker 1: course still fact she makes the show good, I'm not
- 56:20Speaker 1: gonna lie be. Then so Steven likes Taylor I have
- 56:28Speaker 1: written down and Conrad they do a flashback to prom.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Why does Belly have a prom when she's not graduating?
- 56:36Speaker 1: It's probably some American thing, really weird. And you can
- 56:39Speaker 1: tell at this point that during their relationship Conrad is
- 56:41Speaker 1: like fizzling out of the relationship and pretty much just
- 56:46Speaker 1: he is. He's throwing it all the way, he's not trying.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Once he got a little bit hard, he doesn't feel
- 56:50Speaker 1: seems like he's like mentally checked out, Yeah, mentally checked out.
- 56:53Speaker 1: And he's forgotten her corsage, like the wristbrand with a bracelet,
- 56:57Speaker 1: and he just is like, not get put in any
- 56:59Speaker 1: effort at all, poor Belly. And then they go to
- 57:04Speaker 1: the prom and he's just like not acting interested at all,
- 57:06Speaker 1: and then she's like, he goes, can we please go
- 57:08Speaker 1: outside and talk? And all the one I'm pretty sure
- 57:11Speaker 1: the mom's still alive at this point, yeah, and she's like,
- 57:13Speaker 1: meds aren't working. Then she's going downhill. They go outside
- 57:16Speaker 1: and Belly's kind of like, what's wrong with you? Like,
- 57:18Speaker 1: please talk to me, don't shut me out, and he's
- 57:19Speaker 1: kind of just like literally just shutting her out. And
- 57:23Speaker 1: then he goes, I just have to go, like, I'm
- 57:25Speaker 1: gonna go, but I need to. I've got an exam
- 57:27Speaker 1: on Monday. I'm gonna go back to school tonight. She goes,
- 57:28Speaker 1: you said you're gonna stay the night and he's like,
- 57:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I have to go. And then he leaves
- 57:32Speaker 1: and she goes, well, am I going to say it
- 57:35Speaker 1: to you? And he goes what. She goes that we're
- 57:38Speaker 1: over and I was kind of like facts that we're over,
- 57:41Speaker 1: and he's like no, no, and then they have a
- 57:43Speaker 1: bit of a fight. She takes off the Infinity necklace
- 57:45Speaker 1: that he gave her and she just like puts in
- 57:47Speaker 1: his hands and and he's like, Belly, no. She runs
- 57:51Speaker 1: away crying. Yeah it was harsh, but also I don't know,
- 57:54Speaker 1: then he drives away in his range Rover. He got
- 57:57Speaker 1: a ranger over bro range Rover. But also like, ah,
- 58:00Speaker 1: to be fair to Conrad, he's going through so much. Yeah,
- 58:03Speaker 1: and then Belly's just so dramatic, like his mom's dying,
- 58:07Speaker 1: and then he's obviously disassociating with life as a whole,
- 58:11Speaker 1: and then she's just like, you're not even here with
- 58:14Speaker 1: It's hard though, because at the same time it's like
- 58:16Speaker 1: she knows he's disassociating, but also why can't he just
- 58:20Speaker 1: talk about it more? Oh, he still has a lot
- 58:22Speaker 1: of his own prosers. Yeah, like, so just talk about
- 58:24Speaker 1: it more, because then you guys are both gonna understand things.
- 58:27Speaker 1: And it's like, leading up to this point, he's let
- 58:30Speaker 1: stuff build up. So now he's disassociating the most at
- 58:33Speaker 1: her prom, where it's like you could have spoken about
- 58:35Speaker 1: it and really disassociated, and then for her prom you
- 58:38Speaker 1: could have just had one fucking day off of being
- 58:40Speaker 1: a dick and disassociating. I know it would be hard.
- 58:43Speaker 1: I can't obviously can't speak from experience because it hasn't
- 58:46Speaker 1: happened to me. But at the same time, it's like
- 58:48Speaker 1: one day for her, one day for belly every other
- 58:50Speaker 1: day for you. This whole show is about not being
- 58:52Speaker 1: able to have one day off for your selfish regions
- 58:55Speaker 1: pretty much. So Comrade ruined a prom. They broke up.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Then it goes back to present day and the aunt
- 59:01Speaker 1: is a bitch. They go and try and convince her.
- 59:02Speaker 1: She says, no, I'm great cast thing. I thought, I
- 59:05Speaker 1: really give it up, like Auntie. Yeah, bit vibes. She's
- 59:08Speaker 1: in Brooklyn. Similar to her. She's in Brooklyn. Might night
- 59:11Speaker 1: to the Auntie. Yeah, it's the old version. And so
- 59:15Speaker 1: then we the boys have to say bye bye to
- 59:17Speaker 1: the house and the they want to try and buy
- 59:20Speaker 1: the house, the dad saying no, they want to use
- 59:21Speaker 1: their trusts. Dad says no. Flashback to the funeral tear jerker.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Conrad sings a song I tear that. Oh yeah, that
- 59:31Speaker 1: was emotional, very very sad. Now this is where we
- 59:34Speaker 1: find out what happened to the funeral at the after
- 59:36Speaker 1: party of the funeral, the wake, the after party, I
- 59:38Speaker 1: mean the wake after the wake. Thiss me. We get
- 59:42Speaker 1: there to the funeral, they're at like I think they're
- 59:45Speaker 1: just at their They're at Conrad in Jeremiah's house in Boston,
- 59:49Speaker 1: and so she says to Jeremiah, like, Oh, if you
- 59:52Speaker 1: don't feel like mingling, I'll get your plate of food
- 59:53Speaker 1: and you can go upstairs and not bring it to you.
- 59:55Speaker 1: So he says, thanks, that's cool, So he goes upstairs.
- 59:57Speaker 1: She makes the plate, Stephen takes the feet up to Jeremiah.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: She makes another play food. Going to look for Conrad,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: someone goes, oh, he's in the reck room. She walks in.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: He's lap head on lap with his ex girlfriend Aubrey
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: because she's at the funeral. She knew the mump. And
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: so then Belly's kind of like, seize Rhett, and he's
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: just like Belly, wait, doesn't even give him a chance
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: to explain. To be fair, like, like we find out
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: later what happened, I get it, but like she's upset,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: but give him a fucking chance to explain. But also,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: who cares? Who cares? His mom just died. Everyone had
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: every right to be mad at her today. Just also,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: just bottle up all your emotions for the next three hours. Yeah,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: don't say anything and then go home cry tomorrow. It's
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: not the day of the funeral. How about it. Yell
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: at him, do whatever you want, get answers. Yeah, I
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: get it, So she runs downstairs. He chases her and
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: then she's like, get off me, causing a scene, and
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: he's like, He's like, I knew you'd be like this,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: and I was kind of like fuck, And then I
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: wrote down the actual questions. I'd be like what, and
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: he goes, I knew it was a bad idea, start
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: something with you. That's what he said to her. Hush
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: but harsh, but no. At hand, I also felt bad
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: for Bellie's mom. Yeah, and then Belly's like, I'll never
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: let him get to me like that again. And then
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Laurel's pissed at Belly about it. So now back to
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: present day. They're at the house. Stephen and Taylor show up.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: They've just gotten off the phone with the dad Comrade
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: and that and trying to get him to buy the house.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: They say no. He says no to the trusts. Taylor
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: and Steven show up. They're like, hey, hey, everyone's so
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: groom and they're like, what the fuck's going on? And
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: they're just like, we lost the house. Shit. Then they
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: started to watch a movie. Comrade has a panic attack.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Steven chases him out to the beach. What's wrong? What's wrong?
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: And he goes nothing nothing, panic attack and he's like shit,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: why He's like, I got into Stanford. I was like,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: what was the text he received when they went to
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: the movie. Yeah, gave basic whatever episode four. So yeah,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: he finds out they gun in to Stanford. Now there's
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: an open house today on the house and they're all like,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: we need to fucking ruin this for her. Steven Fox
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: up the ac on a really hot day in the
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: heat wave. The Auntie's like, fuck, cancer's open house. So
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: then she goes while I organize getting it fixed, you
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: guys just get out of my hair. And then they're like, yeah, whatever.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: And Sky is the cousin. By the way, Sky is
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: grown up and she is a day and she is
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: the cringiest character of them all. But also I kind
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: of liked her. I liked it. I liked Sky a lot.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: She at the start, the way she was the picture,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: I was like, oh no, But then she found her
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: own skin. It was cool. Like comrade comes in and goes,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: what's she doing here? And she goes, it's actually they
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: and I was kind of like, facts, stiffy yourself, and
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: so she does do like they made her character really
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: good at having bad social cues and not because she
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: has obviously not related much social She's like, I don't
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: do hugs. Yeah, like fat facts.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: It was.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: It was just like so funny, I don't do hugs,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: by the way, and so then they go, fuck it,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: let's go to the arcade, Let's go to the pier
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: or whatever. And I would say so far was my
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: favorite because that's when they have the Arcade tournament. They
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: just all have like it's sick music and it's the
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: boys versus the girl, so Taylor Belly Sky versus the boys,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: and they were just like play all these games. It
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: was fucking looked fun right, and everyone's finally happy they
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: got to stay at the house last night. And then
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: they get back to the house and they've emptied it.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Everything's gone. Aunt Julia has fucking empty evil bro fucking
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: evil bitch, low fucking blowed, very low blow, just fucking
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: dog all their mothers shit without put it in stories,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: having a say, oh my fucking god. And then they're
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: like what happened. She goes, yeah, me and your father
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: decided that this would be the easiest way. And I
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: was like, fuck you to the dad, fuck you to
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: the Auntie. Even Sky the auntie's daughter's like, honestly, Mom,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: fuck you right, that is fucking petty, so petty brother
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: so low. So she leaves and she goes, I need
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: to finalize some things, so I need to go to
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Boston tonight. And Sky's like, Mom, you can't do this,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: and she's like, we're going and she goes, no, Mom, seriously,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I'm not going with you. So her and Mom are
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: fighting and then they go inside. They're like, what are
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: we gonna do? At this point, By the way, they've
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: met Cam at the arcade because now he's working at
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: the Arcade and he's for some reason following along for
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: the rest of the season. So we stuck around. I
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: was thinking that. I was like, what's Cam doing here?
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: He comes in Clutch at one point. One point they
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: didn't have to be written in Yeah, but Cam's now
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: were just with them and Cam and Sky I think
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I think Cam was with them because he doesn't have
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: any friends. Yeah, no fair and he was trying to
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: make so yeah, that's it was hilarious. And so they
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: go back to the house and like, what are we
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: going to do in this empty house? Guys, Mum's left,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: and so they go fuck it. Let's throw a party.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: They decided to throw a party, and they go just
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: get planning for that. Yeah, slightly, timelines shifted there, but
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: they also went in because all this stuff was gone.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: They went to the where they had the dead ball
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: and slept every night there. That's right. Sorry, So before
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: they throw the party, they go to the country club
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: and they sleep at the country club, and Taylor and
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Stephen nearly kissed, Jeron, Jeremiah and Belly nearly kiss and
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: then I wrote Taylor and Steve and are in love.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Comrade and Jeremiah walking on Stephen and Taylor dancing romantically
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: while they were looking for something to sleep on. Yeah,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: and they were like whoa, whoa, what's going on here?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: And doing nothing nothing, and Jeremiah and Comrade are kinda
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: like just sitting there like yeah, yeah cool, yeah, No.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: I love how this whole thing's like all this this
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: crew the Posse, trying to be all serious like real
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: life problems, like they're losing the house, their moms just died,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: and then they just go off and break into this place,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: doing some illegal things, sleeping there every night. Then they
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: go and trash their house. Yeah, being like just degenerate kids,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: you know what this was. This whole thing was just
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: like rich kids having a hissy fit. Yeah, that's what
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: it was. It's literally what it was. And so then
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: they actually find out the and but then they get
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: back to the house after the country club and they
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: find out that it's actually sold. Yeah, so she said
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: that she sold it, and they're like, what you sold
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: the house within twelve hours. She goes yep, to a
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: nice family with three kids. And so that's when sorry,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: that's when Sky and her mum have an argument. The
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: mom has to go to Boston. Then they go back
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: to have to go what are we gonna do? Let's
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: throw a party now see episode six. They throw a party.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Belly and Conrad make up about the funeral. Then Belly
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: and Taylor are teaching Skuy to kiss this Guy's like,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: never kissed the boy. They're like, let's fucking go. Now.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: The party has started and they put everything on their
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: dad's amex because sucking. They got alcohol. They've they decked
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: out of the house. That's so much money. So much money, bro.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: They also rich kid problem. Yeah yeah, yeah, Belly's what's
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: it's a It's like an eighties themed party. Belly's rolling
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: around in roll skates giving shots out. It was pretty cringe.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: It was hard to watch. I was getting through it.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: And then this is probably actually my favorite episode I
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: want and I'll tell you why. So I don't even
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: need my notes for this. She tell me that you
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: love the fucking Steven Taylor Dan that was the best pit.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: So Belly's roller skating falls backwards. Jeremiah catches her right
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: and like she's kind of like, oh shit, and she's
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: falling for Jeremiah again. All the while, both Jeremiah and
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Conrad want her, and Jeremiah goes into into her ear.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: This was sexy Jeremiah. Just Jeremiah was like, fuck, what
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: do you say? I wrote it down, so I got
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: it right. You don't need to hurt yourself to get
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: my attention. Yea, Conrad, you're doing it. You do for Conrad.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: And then so Cam and Sky go for a little walk.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: They're talking and Cam and Sky go sit by the pool.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Then they start kiss him.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: Bro.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I love Cam, I love Cam camraon r best. He
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: is the best. So then flashback to Taylor and Stephen.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Not flashback, sorry, just back into the house of Taylor
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: and Stephen. They are inseparable. Right for the whole season,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: they're inseparable, and you can tell he likes her, and
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: she's just going along with the game because she has
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: a boyfriend, Milo, and so Milo's texting her and Milo
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: is kind of adweep, I won't lie, and so he's like,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: I need you back home. I want to write songs
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: about you. And she's like whatever, I'm in Cousins helping
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: my friend Belly. So then he rocks up to Cousins
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: to the party and he goes, yo, where's my girl.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Taylor and Cam and Skuy are like I don't know,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: and Tsky goes probably with Stephen Yeah, and he's like, well,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: that's where I'll be there the pot. Then it goes
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: to Mila's looking for them, and then Stephen and Taylor
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: they go over to the dance floor. Stephen clears it.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: He goes, hey, you me, let's go hit it fucking DJ,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: and then Party in the USA by Mila Syrres comes
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: on and they do this whole dance routine that Taylor
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: and Belly used to do for Steven and his mum
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: when they were kids, and Stephen remembered it. They do
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: this whole thing and then they have this heck fucking
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: insane intimate moment at the end where he's like touching
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: her face and she's like smiling up at him. Mila's
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: just watching the whole thing, and he goes, Taylor, what
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: are you doing? And then Belly they turn around and
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: she's like, fuck, go off, honestly leave and he's like no, no, no,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: you're my girl. She's like, no, please leave. Stephen goes, bro,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: you need to leave, and then you just hear fight, fight, fight,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: and everyone walks in. There's a big circle, and then
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Milo and Stephen are starting to fight, and then Comrade
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: and Jeremiah on the side. Because I would call it
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: more of a tussle. It was not a fight. There
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: was no there was no no shots landed. It was
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: the show PG. Yeah, and then they like kind of
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: break it up and Taylor's kind of like, mindlo, leave,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: you're embarrassing me. He's like, yeah, come on, let's go.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: These people aren't for us anyway, and she goes, no,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: these are my friends. And he's like, girl, you're my girl.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: She's like, what's my middle name? And he goes She's like, honestly,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: you don't know anything about me. She runs off, and
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Stephen looks at mylo and goes, it's Madison. Bro, that
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: was good to be. Let's go, Stephen. I'm telling you,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: why do you hate Stephen? I love? I hate him,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: though I love Steve. Dance well, him trying to like
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: make a move with that slow dance at the ball place.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Fucking cringey, then dance thing. It's cringey, but it's hecktic.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: I hate him. I love Stephen. Be says I'm gonna
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: hate him next week. Oh good, I hate him, so damn. Okay.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: So then Conrad Sky gets a text, and it's a
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: text from her mom because she's been handing her mum
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: to try and let them have the beach house. And
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: she goes like, okay, look, I've put in the agreement
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: that once a week every summer they have to rent
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: the house to Conrad and Jeremiah for one week. And
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: then Conrad, so, Jeremiah and Belly are like this is
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: great news. Conrad's like, no, no, what the fuck, Like
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: we've lost bro, Like, this is our house, We're not
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: renting it off some family. And so then they're like
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: what the fuck. And then Sky leaves and Jeremiah is
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: kind of like just hounds into Conrad, like why you
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: like this? Like if it's not perfect, it's not good enough.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: All this, he starts talking about stuff about Belly. Belly
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: looks at Jeremiah and goes, don't use me to get
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: at him, because he says to Conrad, like, you came
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: and begged me for my blessing, and that's Conrad didn't
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: tell Blessed Belly that. And then he was like because
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: a couple episodes Jeremiah told Belly that he did that,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Like Conrade came to him and goes, I love her. Man.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: He's like, you know what, I don't want you to
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: do it, but I'm not going to be the reason
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: that you guys don't have a relationship. And so then
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Belly never knew that because all Comrade ever said to
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: it was like, yeah, he's sweet with it. And then
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Belly walks off. She's down at the beach trunk holding
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: a ball at tequila or whatever. It's kind of a
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: nick just like walking into the water and Conrade comes
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: over and she's like, leave me alone and he's like
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: I can't goes and picks her up, brings back on
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: to the shore and then they're fighting. Why'd you throw
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: it all away? Why did you do this? He's like,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know if you told me
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: about that, If you told me, I would have fought
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: harder for us. I don't know. I don't know all
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: this random shit. He's like, I was having panic attacks.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: I was like, this is boring now, seriously. Belly found
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: out at the funeral when Conrad was on his ex
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: lap that he was having a having a panic and
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: then she was helping him. Yeah, and if she let
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: him explain, he wouldn't she would have known that exactly.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: And then she goes inside. She's crying. She goes upstairs,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: falls asleep and calls her mum. Wakes up. Her mom's there, Belly,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: what the fuck is wrong with you? Bro? I'm pretty
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: sure we're an episode seven now? Yeah, what's wrong with you?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: She wakes up, She's like, mom, what are you doing here?
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: She goes, don't you remember the call you gave me
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: last night? And then she's like, oh, yeah, shit. Her
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: mom's just like laying into her, and then she's laying
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: into her mum. And then Belly says something like Susanna
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: wouldn't have wanted and before she can finish that sentence,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Laurel just slaps Belly in the face and I was like, yeah,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: she needed that. Let's fucking go. What about fucking Belly?
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: The phone call was intense, so she goes, I need you,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: I need you to come fix this. I need you
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: need then just doesn't pick up the phone. Imagine hearing
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: that from your daughter and then like thinking she's going
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: to die or some shit. I know, bro, it's fucked up.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: And then Belly and her mom make up eventually. I'm
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: like ten minutes later or whatever. I don't know. That
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: were hard to heart. And then that we find out
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: that Laurel knew that Julia would do something like this,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: but she just thought that Susannah would have sorted it
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: out before she died, but she didn't. And so everyone's
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: kind of like, you knew this whole time, you didn't
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: tell us that, you didn't tell anyone that this might happen.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Could have given at least given us a warning to
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: try and sort it out beforehand. And then so Laura
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: ends up feeling bad and she apologized and she go, okay, cool,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: let me talk to Julia. So she talks to Julia
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: and literally the reason I hated Julia. She's literally just
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: doing this out of spite because she just didn't like
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Susannah and she didn't like Susanna's mum and they are
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: half sisters. Viit from their dad's side, and the dad
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: just like didn't love Julia as much. So it's like,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: why are you taking out on these poor fucking boys. Whatever.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: But also she probably needed the money to sell the house.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Cool now they they end up convincing the dad to
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: buy the beach house because then they sell the Boston house.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Fucking a whole bunch of shit randomly happens in this one,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: and then Comrade and Jeremiah makeup, right, and yeah, Comrade
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: and Jeremiah make up if they start being honest with
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: each other. He tells Jeremiah that he got into Stanford,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: and Jeremiah's like, Bro, you have to do it. He goes,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: I'm not even going to get in anyway because I'm
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: going to fail my test. I didn't study for it
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: my test at Brown, and then if I don't pass out,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I'm not going to get into Stanford. So then they
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: go study night. We'll stay up at night's studying. Blah
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: blah blah, blah blah all this. It was pretty cringe,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: but also whatever, Okay. Next day they drive to Stanford.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Conrad's ready for his exam. Jeremiah and Belly go for
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: a little drive to the school that Jeremiah is going
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: to go to, and it's also the school that Belly
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: might be going to. They're talking and then they're outside
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: waiting and she's talking to Jeremiah and she says she
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: looks at him, and she says, would you ever give
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: me a second chance? And at this point, I was like,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: leave this fucking family alone, Jesus, And he's kind of
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: like holding his ground. He's like, no, Belly, I can't
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: because if I do, it'll break me, right, And I
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: was like, Jeremiah is good. Fact, Like I just don't
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: really like him. No, he's great. I don't like any
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: of them. I don't like any out of all three
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: of them. I hate him Executive Stephen, I love Steve.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Out of the three out of Belly, Comrade and Jomi,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: I hate them all. So then she's like she like
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: just like pulls his face into a kiss and then
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: they just start making out. Episodes at episode ends of
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Comrade just going and they're like they look at him.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: He's just watching them kiss yea. Episod's over. Next guys,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Fuck I spoke quick then hopefully it was good on
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Patreon the season finale. Yeah, but wow, how do you feel?
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I just fucking hate everyone except for Stephen and Taylor.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: I'm frustrated, to say the least. I love Taylor because
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: she says to Belly like this could get messy, like
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: you should just leave alone. Yeah, she doesn't even listen
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: to her best friend. Wow. One episode, guys. Sorry, by
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: the way, it is jarring a. I don't know entertaining.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: It's just tea on tea on tea. Obviously, there's a
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: lot more stuff that happens right now. I think that
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: Conrad's toxic. Also, I do think Jeremiah is toxic too, right, Yeah,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: and I also think that Belly's toxic. I can't believe
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Belli's just lost their virginity to Conrad and then, I
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: don't know, three months later, decides to pursue the other brother. Like,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: fuck me, I hate this show. Yeah, yeah, it makes
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: me piss. I genuinely hate this show. But season three,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: like I know, episodes are coming out week by week.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Is this the last season? Or is it like going
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: to continue heaps. I hope it ends, and I hope
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: it ends with all of them doing like a fucking
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: I just I don't even know. Like, I hope it
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: ends with for some reason, all of them, all three
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: of them have a restraining order on each other. Or
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: I hope it ends with Comrade and Jeremiah making up
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: and being brothers, and then they have a restraining order
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: on Belly, like stay away from us? Oh fair? Am
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I being toxic here? Like? Is it valid to hate Belly?
- 1:17:03Speaker 7: No?
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: So valid? Yeah, I feel like it's very valid to
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: hate Belly, Like cool Conrad hurt you? Yes, right, you've
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: been hurt. You have been hurt. Yeah, there, you have
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: every right to be upset. But I can not get
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: over the fact of how fucking selfish she is. Well
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: at the end of now, where are we at? Okay,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: what team are we on? I'm still team Jeremiah, Your
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: team Jeremiah? Yeah, I'm team No. One. If I had
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: to be, I was gonna say, if I was allowed
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: to choose that I would be Team No. One. Yeah,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: but team Joremiah, I would be Team Belly. Leave that
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: poor family alone. Yeah. But if I have to choose,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: but to say, I'm team leave Belly, leave that poor
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: family alone. Yeah, but if I have to choose, I
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: am team Dude. I'm team Conrad. Still, it's like, if
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: I have to choose, I absolutely have to. I'll tell
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: you what, con did you get hotter in season two?
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: He's way better looking. Yeah I do see that now.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: But I'm still team Joe Meyer. Okay through all right,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: so we're against each other on this one. We'll see
