- 0:42Wow, so a little bit colour. We've been speaking about
- 0:46creator Hub like for us to have your Co founder on board to talk
- 0:52about the journey of this solution that you've created.
- 0:57So ladies and gentlemen, please make welcome.
- 1:00I call him different titles, but I'm just going to call him
- 1:03Prince. The Prince will the Prince of
- 1:05Ireland. Everyone, Sir, I'm good.
- 1:09I'm good, I'm good. Lovely to be here.
- 1:10Thank you for having me. Wow, wow.
- 1:12So Olumka has actually said a lot of great stuff about me, but
- 1:17why did you decide to jump on board the Creator Hub journey?
- 1:23Interesting question. I have answered this question
- 1:26loads of times and I think I give different variations to to
- 1:31it right? But I think for the sake of this
- 1:35interaction I might try and go a little bit in depth.
- 1:38I think I'll talk about myself before jumping into creator as
- 1:40well. I think I don't like seeing
- 1:42people in pain in general. I try to want to solve.
- 1:46If I can't solve minds of theirs, if there is a lack, I
- 1:49want to insert myself to see how I can help.
- 1:51Might not be able to help you 100% but is searching the right
- 1:54direction to go. So Olukala obviously is a
- 1:58creator and has been having the pinpoint of trying to find
- 2:01businesses to work with. Spear in Ireland for a pinpoint
- 2:03of you take a lot of time to find the business to work with,
- 2:07then it's that is a free collaboration, not the paid 1.
- 2:10So that's another pinpoint as well.
- 2:12Second thing is it collaboration but the cost, the money is too
- 2:18small. The top thing could be is a put
- 2:21collaboration and the percentage of fees being taken from PayPal
- 2:25or whatever platform the brands or businesses are using is a lot
- 2:29as well. So so many problems as well.
- 2:32Also it disjointed probably when it comes to centralised system
- 2:37for user jointed content creators in Europe, A disjointed
- 2:42system for getting the jobs, a decentralised system for working
- 2:47with agencies. So many issues going on with
- 2:50with that with which we disadjointed content community.
- 2:54I have a background, I have a technical background.
- 2:57I have been in my net to five. Typically, I would be probably
- 3:00looking for ways to bring data together in a centralised
- 3:03system, given a holistic view of how to see things and how to get
- 3:07metrics to leadership if needed to make business decision.
- 3:11Again, back to my bargain of trying to solve everybody's
- 3:13problem. I like, you know what, why don't
- 3:14you beat something and let's see how it goes.
- 3:16So we talked about that for it was 2024, we talked about that
- 3:23first half of 2024. Even before December, we wanted
- 3:27to work on Creator Hub where I started looking at the name.
- 3:30I started looking at all the wrong things, right?
- 3:32Looking at the name, it is quite exciting.
- 3:34But when we never got to it, I spoke to a couple of friends
- 3:38that I wanted to do this because again, maybe I was, I didn't
- 3:41like working 95 at the time, maybe due to burnout, and I
- 3:44wanted something exciting and I found it.
- 3:46So I spoke to a few of my friends, someone who was a who
- 3:49knew Python but was a pattern developer to understand what's
- 3:52going on. But it seems like most of the
- 3:54people around me were still on their 95 rat race and maybe
- 3:58we're not thinking in that direction.
- 3:59So that was a pain then where we live as well.
- 4:02We had a a a couple who were, and I hope maybe they see this
- 4:06as well, a couple who one was a mobile developer and the wife
- 4:10was a software tester. So I like tell you a little bit
- 4:13about good. Let's go pitch to them and see
- 4:15what they can do for us. Again, I don't think I
- 4:17understood the scale of what crater could be nowadays in the
- 4:22process of building. I'm telling that where you start
- 4:24from is nowhere. You finish and there's loads of
- 4:27of yes and iterations. I have the day and loads of
- 4:31because I had to in this process get a new Instagram that just
- 4:35for business completely just to understand how business works.
- 4:38My wife wants me to read books, but I don't like reading books.
- 4:41I'm a visual person, so I like watching videos and stuff.
- 4:44I had a new Instagram that was just clearly on all things
- 4:48entrepreneurs things have products, businesses and all of
- 4:51that. So I started learning,
- 4:52understanding and the most common thing they'll talk about
- 4:54is just start. And from there, eventually it
- 4:56will open models of iteration. So the couple we pitch to them.
- 5:00But again, everybody is at different stages in life when
- 5:04you want to do stuff or do things.
- 5:05So that didn't fly. So this was around probably
- 5:09March, April 2024 up until again towards the end of 2024 around
- 5:14November. Then I'll have it's time to pick
- 5:15this up again. I reached out to a friend of
- 5:18mine. So I, I tend to know people, so
- 5:20I tend to ask people how to proceed.
- 5:23So one of my friends, younger brother who is a junior
- 5:25developer, I said, OK, this is what I want to do.
- 5:27How do we do this? And what a domain from GoDaddy
- 5:31and oh, maybe you can use another situation, use another
- 5:33platform, that kind of thing. So this is really going wrong
- 5:35for the very beginning. It got to the point where he now
- 5:38said, OK, I need AI, need you to get me a designer who will build
- 5:42and design the prototype that I can develop.
- 5:45Cool, that makes sense. So that moves to my wife's
- 5:48cousin Toby, excellent guy as well, helped us put structure on
- 5:53what kind of is Creator right now.
- 5:56I spoke to him, he said he gave us I think a designer, He gave
- 6:03us a product, a product person as well and he gave us a project
- 6:08manager and he gave us the developers.
- 6:09So we started that. So why are you trying to build
- 6:11Creator Hub without understanding what's going on?
- 6:14He provided a lot of insight into you want to keep people in
- 6:18the community. So did the definition of report
- 6:21type of critical is have a way of catering to the UTC committee
- 6:26in Europe in general wanted the words, but we know there's a
- 6:29market for everybody, but we knew the American macro very
- 6:31saturated, which was the issue. Reason why I wanted to do this
- 6:34for Europe, because from Europe couldn't get businesses or
- 6:38brands to work with her from the states, maybe due to shipping
- 6:40the product. It was a software product.
- 6:42It made sense you could go to the App Store and you couldn't
- 6:44get it done, but it was a physical product that didn't
- 6:46ship to you that was a problem and they probably didn't want to
- 6:48work with logistic issues outside the United States.
- 6:51So it made sense that they, they had their own committee who are
- 6:55trying to have one committee. Then before that there was buzz
- 6:59about TikTok shop, right? But TikTok shop was in the UK,
- 7:02which angered us more because Ireland seemed to be the one to
- 7:06get lost of everything. And I was like, no, that doesn't
- 7:09make sense to me, right? The Irish economy is growing.
- 7:11We could tap into that as well. And from there tap into Europe.
- 7:14Yes, Ireland, they do care about businesses as well.
- 7:16So we try to go through that, that, that route.
- 7:19Obviously we're bootstrapping. There was no money on board, so
- 7:22we had to find a way to make things work without designer.
- 7:26So holistically, the aim of Creator was to get a, a, an
- 7:30application that caters to a community for UGC creators.
- 7:34I kind of want to mirror everything LinkedIn does because
- 7:38you can connect to professionals, you can find
- 7:41jobs, you can get business opportunities, you can get
- 7:44referrals and everything else. So what better way to mirror
- 7:46than mirror something that already works and try and put
- 7:49that in a niche that's UGC. So from there had a design I
- 7:55wanted to mirror the entire life cycle of UGC, right.
- 7:58We all know the minimum of our products need maybe 1 features
- 8:01to get it done. But this was not just as an
- 8:05industry that is starting. So the industry that's already
- 8:08there, we've seen other products that are not finding exactly
- 8:12what Yeah and creator could be. So it wasn't a situation where
- 8:16the MVP was going to be small, which way I didn't want to call
- 8:19it an MVP, but it's still your first, your first situation,
- 8:22your version 1. So it is what it is, regardless
- 8:25of how many features we had. Now, the features we had, those
- 8:28people were telling me that they were too much.
- 8:30Yeah, but the features were very important to the entire user
- 8:34life cycle. They couldn't be disconnected.
- 8:37They couldn't be a situation where you wanted a contract part
- 8:40and not have an invoice part. Now an invoice part comes later.
- 8:43That couldn't work The the project was quite interesting
- 8:46because the entire life cycle had to be built in one which was
- 8:50the MVP. So because of that it was loads
- 8:53of features and loads of people telling me including this is too
- 8:55much. If I understand your problem
- 8:57correctly, which is the entire UGC life cycle, then all of this
- 9:00needs to be there not in the most the greatest way.
- 9:03It is of time, maternal functionality at the very core.
- 9:07That is what creator can be and which way from there.
- 9:09So I sat down with Ubukala and told me she she create.
- 9:12She explained the UGC life cycle from beginning to the end.
- 9:15End. What step do you need to take?
- 9:17What Who does this? When does the creator do
- 9:20something? When does the business do
- 9:21something? When are the the content
- 9:24exchange As a creator they are trying to solve things for the
- 9:27creator point of view. You don't you want the fact that
- 9:30we can put that one in escrow and you want creators to see
- 9:33that money in their wallet even if you can't access it, at least
- 9:36to know that they will get paid and you want a situation where
- 9:38they can get paid quickly. You don't want a situation where
- 9:41the fees are too much. You want businesses to be happy
- 9:44way, instead of providing up and down, finding agencies and
- 9:47finding different people to get them talent, you can just walk
- 9:50into creator hub. You can put a job out there and
- 9:53let people know they can apply. We try to make that better
- 9:57because you don't want it to be a proper job interview, right?
- 10:00So put a video resume, talk about yourself and why you think
- 10:03you're the best person for the job and put your portfolio out
- 10:06there. And again, you try to convince
- 10:08people why you think you're a best fit because it's both ways,
- 10:11right? So situations like that, we're
- 10:14trying to look out, look out for how to solve the problem for
- 10:16both businesses and for both creators.
- 10:19So I think that is the main point of what I jumped into
- 10:23Creator Hub. Well, interesting.
- 10:25So what I love very much about Creator Hub and of course the
- 10:29expose that you've given us is the position and you're
- 10:33different from the competitors. You actually incorporate the
- 10:37whole life cycle of fugacy into your platform, right?
- 10:43But you would agree with me that it is very difficult when I say
- 10:48balancing trust and efficiency in business, right?
- 10:52Because in order to achieve trust, sometimes you need to
- 10:57have certain bureaucratic processes, right?
- 11:00So like how are you guys going to balance efficiency and trust,
- 11:07building trust with this platform?
- 11:09And that's a very good question. It's very, I'm happy you use
- 11:11word trust. I have six years of background
- 11:15in Amazon and the first leadership principle that you
- 11:18learn is customer trust. For example, when I have to work
- 11:22as a customer support and cloud engineer, when the customer
- 11:25comes to you with their problem, it's maybe it's a issue of their
- 11:29production servers are down and they're losing money.
- 11:31That kind of situation you your your your aim of being efficient
- 11:35can lead to trust. For example, you can calm them
- 11:38down. You can get on it if it was a
- 11:40chat, you can get on the call quickly to more efficient and
- 11:43get on the screen share. You can do things within how you
- 11:48work your ways of working to make sure that your efficient
- 11:52and solve their issues, which brings trust.
- 11:54For example, you could say, hey, I'm going to take a look at
- 11:56this. Give me a SEC.
- 11:58I'll come back to you and not just run and not come back.
- 12:01Or you can say you're going to follow up and you do follow up,
- 12:05you don't just discard. So you're aware of working,
- 12:09which brings efficiency. We lead to trust to mirror that
- 12:12to Creator Hub. The aim is to make sure that I'm
- 12:15a soccer for details, very detailed oriented.
- 12:17I want this to work a certain way.
- 12:19Obviously, I'm always ready to pivot when I think it's time to
- 12:22pivot. The aim for efficiency and trust
- 12:24for Creator Hub is 2 things, right?
- 12:27Or two ways from both the creators and both the
- 12:29businesses. Once you have the escrow payment
- 12:31for me, which one? The biggest way of trust is to
- 12:34say, hey, we are going to mediators between both, bridge
- 12:37the gap between both creators and both businesses.
- 12:39Hey business, you can pay us the money then to pay the creator
- 12:42the money, right? Once you can agree there's
- 12:45quality of work both ways, you can release that money and goes
- 12:48to them. And if there's an issue, we can
- 12:50arbitrate on your behalf. And arbitration can be a
- 12:53situation where the brands, maybe the creator didn't meet
- 12:57the deadlines on time and the brand pushed the deadlines
- 13:00forward and they give the creator time to create the
- 13:03content or asking for too many iterations and taking advantage.
- 13:07So solving that problem brings of it in an efficient way can
- 13:11lead to trust on that situation of balancing efficiency and
- 13:14trusting greater. Obviously situation where we've
- 13:17introduced collaboration at every point in the in the UGC
- 13:21life cycle, there is a place where a chat system that for
- 13:25example, is when you've been offered a job by business, you
- 13:28can say, hey, this doesn't work for me, how can we do that?
- 13:32Instead of having to find ways of reaching out to them,
- 13:35emailing, you can use that chat system and send it to them.
- 13:37That brings collaboration, that being efficiency that leads to
- 13:40trust. You can have that aspect in the
- 13:42offer page and have that aspect also in the contract page, which
- 13:46are very important, right? You also we have the ability to
- 13:49have a calendar management system that can probably be
- 13:52available through the entire life cycle of that job in
- 13:55Creator Hub where you can schedule a meeting with the
- 13:57business as well to get clarity. All of these simple features
- 14:01that lead to efficiency of getting the job done between
- 14:04both parties definitely can lead to trust.
- 14:06It's not even the situation of the aim of trust.
- 14:08And Creator Hub is not for us as founders, but for the system
- 14:12itself. People trust in the system to do
- 14:15the work efficiently for both between the brands and the
- 14:18creators without us having to interfere.
- 14:22So the system of Creator Hub is built on trust and hopefully,
- 14:25hopefully the features that are efficient enough can lead to the
- 14:29trust that we're. Talking about but interesting
- 14:31stuff, you know, there was a millionaire on this podcast that
- 14:35told me something. He says the defence between
- 14:38successful people and not so successful people is the the
- 14:42time between idea and execution. And when I look into my screen,
- 14:47I see Hollywood colour as the idea.
- 14:49I see you as the executor. So how are you guys able to
- 14:53balance that time span between idea and execution And yeah,
- 14:58definitely there I want. To take this one.
- 15:00There will be clashes between idea and execution.
- 15:03You got that right. I think I want to take this one
- 15:05because it's something to today we're currently struggling with.
- 15:10I'm a passionate, very creative person.
- 15:12So I see things from the creative side and it sees things
- 15:15from the, you know, business logical side.
- 15:18So when I'm like, oh babe, OK, for example, the landing page or
- 15:21let's change this. Let's change that.
- 15:23You'll be like, did the landing page for now, functionality,
- 15:26functionality. Let's focus on the web app.
- 15:28OK, what are the bugs? What do we need to fix?
- 15:31It's true because I'm so good shot.
- 15:35I'm not saying so I take information from so many places,
- 15:39right? I'm taking information from Y
- 15:40Combinator, from YC, from NYC founders, my I call you my
- 15:45school of Instagram with my Instagram page of just loads of
- 15:48businesses and general page. And at the very beginning it's
- 15:52about getting your product added to solve the issue, right.
- 15:54But at the very beginning, I will, I will admit to Bukola
- 15:57that I was very let's let's get the court in which is important
- 16:01as well. But because this is a creative
- 16:03space as well, want to be careful.
- 16:05I understand, understand that that now that you you need to do
- 16:09certain things in in this in the landing page, for example, to
- 16:13each to show your story, because you are a creative space.
- 16:16You don't want your landing page to be so serious that it doesn't
- 16:19reflect exactly who you are. So I I understand that.
- 16:23Yeah, go ahead. So, so back to idea, but let's
- 16:26give it back to the idea. So like what are the clashes
- 16:30between idea and execution? I think there's so many, I would
- 16:33say because I'm always thinking about the customers.
- 16:36I'm very, I'm very customer oriented, very I'm thinking
- 16:39about the problem and the solution we're doing to solve
- 16:42the specific problem, right. Most of the times I try to avoid
- 16:45distractions where we need to do that.
- 16:47I'm like, how does it help the customer?
- 16:49Have the customer actually asked for that?
- 16:51You do not want to build something or keep a feature that
- 16:54doesn't help them and becomes useless.
- 16:56Time, money and resources. I would say bookie, the core
- 17:00obviously issue and problem that Kritov is trying to solve for
- 17:03some bookies problem, But I would kind of say I'm the ideal
- 17:05person because at a random time at night, I ask random questions
- 17:09around 2:00 AM, three AM, Hey, what do you think about this?
- 17:12What I think about that? This will help this.
- 17:14Is constantly thinking of new ideas there's new ways we can
- 17:18solve the problem and I keep telling him you know well so
- 17:21husband and wife like so this time frame, you know, I want to
- 17:25set boundaries let's not talk business let's just be husband
- 17:27and wife. But then he'll be like no no,
- 17:29no, we're building our face baby.
- 17:31It has to be like this, you know, we have to talk about it
- 17:34all the time. And I'm like.
- 17:37OK, no, I agree because I still maintain that now because it's a
- 17:42startup again, like I said, I've been certain myself in that
- 17:45startup consumer information to understand what what this
- 17:49entails and I tried to put myself, I tried to leave it.
- 17:52I can't remember his name. The former CEO of White
- 17:56Combinator that created Twitch, that sold it.
- 17:59He will always say a startup is a situation where you quit a job
- 18:02for one year, You, you eat ramen for one year and you stay in
- 18:07one. You, you kill yourself
- 18:09basically, right? You deny yourself.
- 18:11And if you are really serious by your startup, you have to do
- 18:13that because you have to devote your all into that to make that
- 18:17happen. That's kind of what I'm
- 18:18thinking. Of course, I'm thinking of the
- 18:20problem, right? And and because like I said, the
- 18:22problem, one of the problem we're trying to solve is the
- 18:24decentralisation of UGC in general.
- 18:26Yes, we still agree that we platform like Twitter and or X
- 18:29where a lot of creators will go to find jobs or people take
- 18:32advantage to find people, which is disjointed.
- 18:35And it asks me because I'm like, how can we find a way to get
- 18:38these people to create a hub where this way they're
- 18:41communicating, they can communicate on our feeds page,
- 18:44they can meet people who are clearly UGC creators from
- 18:48different parts of the world, right?
- 18:50That can solve their problems, get the businesses there as
- 18:53well, have a pick with, based on the advanced features and
- 18:56philtres. We have to pick creators from
- 18:58different countries and different skill sets and
- 19:01different experiences and different niches, right, to get
- 19:04your job done. So I'm always constantly
- 19:06thinking about that. I'm thinking about next step or
- 19:08how can we introduce our tenures to help maybe businesses get
- 19:12more, get their jobs or get more talent for their jobs quickly or
- 19:16in a quick, quick and efficient manner.
- 19:18How can we make sure that we give creators the best chance of
- 19:21being able to pitch to businesses and get jobs?
- 19:23Because most of these creators, they do this full time and which
- 19:27means they live on this. So we need to put our best foot
- 19:29forward to make sure the platform is good enough to give
- 19:32them the ability to be creative. Because Bucola does TikTok shop
- 19:36as well and I've seen her do video and it's actually quite
- 19:39cool, right? It's not maybe sometimes into
- 19:41voice something I understand right And I'm based on that I
- 19:45can understand which is coming from in terms of when she has
- 19:48different ideas on how to take those ideas and use them from
- 19:51creator. Hope I don't know if that helps
- 19:53as a big struggle we still have today.
- 19:55Let me also add this. That that I totally understand.
- 19:59In terms of ideas, a very good example is when we're building
- 20:03Creator, I wanted it to be 4 and I wanted it to be you know and
- 20:07have and everything you know, something you can just pick your
- 20:10phone like. Maybe an Instagram or something.
- 20:12It was like, no, this is a SAS product, this has to be
- 20:17structured. I was like, babe, you're
- 20:18creating a boring product. I remember that like, it's
- 20:22boring, it needs to be fun. It's like, and now I actually
- 20:29love products because it does solve the problem and it kind of
- 20:34bridges the gap and kind of centralises the old UGC cycle
- 20:38and it makes it so fun because at the end of the day, my
- 20:41branding came into play. So that is like the fun bit of
- 20:44it. And then kind of we kind of, you
- 20:46know, complement each other in the processes as well.
- 20:49Yeah, yeah, I agree with that. It used to new processes.
- 20:52It was successful. It's just this stuff, but
- 20:55sometimes I find myself conflicted, like feeling like,
- 20:59oh, maybe I'm like a hybrid of the tool of you because I'm a
- 21:01content creator. However, like I have a corporate
- 21:05background, I have a technical background, finance tech and
- 21:09like meeting a person like Olu book colour, like she, she had
- 21:13to start pushing the creative side of me more like, for
- 21:17example, like this geographic is rubbish.
- 21:19What makes it interesting is, you know, somebody telling you
- 21:23very calmly, but in my head I'm like, oh, do you think about the
- 21:28structure of the content? Do you think about the best?
- 21:30I'm more concerned about the message than the the cover,
- 21:34right, because you know, for a person who would I say ease more
- 21:39premium to structure the feel like, OK, ensure that the core
- 21:43is actually functional. Get it, Because when you
- 21:46actually place premium on function, you can actually
- 21:50change the aesthetics later. But if the core function is
- 21:53actually compromised, it's just like what the Bible says.
- 21:56If the foundation to destroy what kind of righteous do over
- 21:59time these actually discovered that you need to balance
- 22:02actually need to balance both both worlds, right.
- 22:06But I'll put the two of you on the spot right now.
- 22:09And of course I know that you guys are very busy.
- 22:12I will need to go pretty soon, right.
- 22:14So we have business and creators that is brands and creators and
- 22:19that is what you guys do right. So I'll let Buki take the part
- 22:26of convincing the creators and I'll let Prince will take the
- 22:30part of convincing the brand. So if you had just 120 seconds
- 22:36to give a teach right now to the people listening to this podcast
- 22:40today, right, Bookie, what are you going to tell the creators,
- 22:44right, To convince them to use Creator Hub?
- 22:47Why Creator Hub? Why are you different from the
- 22:50others? All right.
- 22:51So talking from a creator perspective, because I myself,
- 22:54I'm a creator to this date, I didn't, you know, give up on
- 22:57being a creator. I would say this, it really
- 23:00helps you streamline the process.
- 23:02It makes it easy for negotiations because we have a
- 23:05negotiation chat box and it makes it easy for you to live
- 23:09your life. Creator Hub is an only one
- 23:11marketplace platforms that caters to the entire life cycle
- 23:17of AEGC project. So we're talking from discovery,
- 23:20the brands discovering you. We're talking delivering the
- 23:24content, negotiation tracks, voicing literally everything.
- 23:28You don't need like 7 apps to use Create Hub.
- 23:31All you need to start one app, Create Hub, that one web app,
- 23:34that one page that was software and your life is easier.
- 23:38And think of when all those admin is gone, all that time
- 23:42that is left, how you can use it to get more jobs, make more
- 23:46videos and even go ahead and technics your income well.
- 23:50Thank you very much. And now, now I feel, I feel
- 23:52convinced as a creator, but as a business.
- 23:55Time starts now. Why should I?
- 23:58You use Creator Hub and probably there might be investors, you
- 24:02know, watching these. So, so why, why should why
- 24:06should, why should you know the investors invest in Creator Hub
- 24:09as well. Maybe you chip that in?
- 24:11Yeah, big, big question though. Hopefully I can talk about,
- 24:14Bucola said. If you have, if you don't have
- 24:16the skill sets right and you want to advertise right,
- 24:19distribution is very important. We are actually trying to
- 24:22distribute for Creator Hub distribution and marketing.
- 24:25If you do not have the skill set and you have social media pages
- 24:28and you want to get your brand out there to millions of people,
- 24:31you need the best people who can embody your brand and put your
- 24:35message out there. That's what creator will do for
- 24:37you as a bra, as a business. If you want a situation where
- 24:40you don't have to deal with agencies, I'll deal with so many
- 24:42people. I'm not comfort agencies.
- 24:44But you want just a 11 shop place, right?
- 24:47You can find creators for different countries, different
- 24:50situations. You can negotiate where you your
- 24:52rates, what you want and you can pay them off and you can get
- 24:55your content and you can put that on your platforms.
- 24:57From an investor point of view, creator market is I think the
- 25:00last I check is more than 10 billion markets and still
- 25:04growing and way different aspect of of being a creator is coming
- 25:07up. We want AI ads as well coming up
- 25:09as well. Regardless of technology used to
- 25:11be a creator, you need a place to source for these creators and
- 25:14that is one of the values that's creator room for you when you do
- 25:17invest in creator. Fantastic.
- 25:19I think at this point I'm actually convinced already.
- 25:22So before I let you guys go, I'm going to put you through the
- 25:26Pacific Ring of Fire. That is the quick fire round
- 25:29section. So very, very big thank you to
- 25:32both of you. I always say this, that when a
- 25:35person shares their time with you, they share their life with
- 25:36you. Because the SI unit for
- 25:38measuring life is time and of course, brutal to you guys for
- 25:41creating an amazing, amazing product.
- 25:43I can very much relate to it. Being a content creator, you are
- 25:46making life easier for millions of people across the world.
- 25:50So those to you. So Are you ready to rumble?
- 25:55So I'm number one question, who's going to take this?
- 25:57OK anybody can take it #1 What is 1 mistake you would avoid E
- 26:02founding creator hub again. I will try and get my customers
- 26:05very early, get that wait list, that waiting list, we did that
- 26:09as well, but we didn't do it that efficiently.
- 26:12So get that waiting list from both businesses and both both
- 26:14creators. Start shouting to the rooftop
- 26:17about your project and the problem itself is very
- 26:18important, but does. Bookie have something to say to
- 26:21that question because I thought, I thought principal would say
- 26:25the mistake you'd avoid is arguing with Bookie too much on
- 26:27the creative process. No, it's.
- 26:29Good. You know, it's, it's yes,
- 26:32frustrating, right? But if you don't have someone
- 26:36who can bring you down to earth, I'm a big dreamer, I can dream.
- 26:39If you don't have someone who can bring you down to earth and
- 26:41challenge you, then you will not improve.
- 26:43Actually, let me just quickly add to that.
- 26:45The thing is the way Prince and I argue, it kind of helps
- 26:49because we find out, OK? It's kind of like proof testing.
- 26:53Creator hope you challenge me and give me this question and
- 26:57giving this issue and I'll challenge you back.
- 27:00And then, you know, we rub off and learn from our experiences.
- 27:03In that moment. It might be like, why in the
- 27:05heat of the argument? But later we go back and we
- 27:08think it true. And then you come to me and I'm
- 27:10like, oh, you were right too. I shouldn't have done this.
- 27:12And I'll be like, I hardly do though.
- 27:15But in my mind I'll be like, oh, freezes, right?
- 27:19But I hardly do it physically. Oh yeah.
- 27:21I know I'm right too. Working on that.
- 27:24Whoa #2 question is what is 1 metric that you now obsessed
- 27:28over? I think Princeville is the best
- 27:31person for this question. This song is actually better
- 27:33then. So, okay, let me see.
- 27:36Okay, So what is 1 metric that you obsess?
- 27:40Over that's a good question because when you process of
- 27:43distribution and marketing after it, you said one bar, can I give
- 27:47you 2? I think the first one is
- 27:48obviously trying to get people to use Creator Hub.
- 27:51That's so getting users which are both businesses and both
- 27:54creators to use Creator Hub. That's my #1 metrics to get
- 27:57their feedback to see, hey, does this actually proper solve your
- 28:00problem and what what is not working?
- 28:02I love that word what isn't working?
- 28:04Wouldn't you like I don't want you to feel my good and telling
- 28:06this is good. I want you to tell me what's not
- 28:08working. First metric is obviously
- 28:09getting people in to test it. Sub of that metric is what you
- 28:15like what you don't like to validate to move forward.
- 28:17And I think the third part sub of that metric is are the
- 28:22features breaking? Are they helpful to you?
- 28:25Are the the aim of how we've done things right?
- 28:29Does that work for you all? Would you like to see things in
- 28:31a different way and for us to implement?
- 28:33That So what is 1 task that you would say you delegated too late
- 28:38in terms of operations? That's a good question.
- 28:41I'll say hiring the right person to do the job, yes, you might
- 28:44have the skill set to do it for this, only somebody better than
- 28:47you. So if you feel you need to go
- 28:49hire the person to do that skill set right, do that for you, I
- 28:53would say go delegate quickly and do that because it frees
- 28:56your time down struggling to implement it.
- 28:59Get an expert to do it for you. You can get a UGC creator to do
- 29:02it for you to create a hub, right?
- 29:04So you're struggling to do the content yourself, and you can
- 29:07have time to focus on other things as well.
- 29:09I think the next question will be for bookie What is 1 belief
- 29:13about the creator economy that you consider to be untrue?
- 29:17The popular belief about the Creator I.
- 29:19Think the point but still the popular belief is a lot of
- 29:22people think what we're doing is a joke.
- 29:24A lot of people don't think this is a source of living.
- 29:27I have creators that you know they've told me you know not
- 29:31directly what three life platform that someone called
- 29:34them out. I was like, go get a job.
- 29:36But then what she did was screenshot that Annie's.
- 29:39I sent it to the person. So that's literally the belief.
- 29:43They think it's not a job. And it was a huge number.
- 29:47It wasn't a small number. Creators are making more than
- 29:49us, I. Think my final question is in
- 29:53one word, one word and that's what both of you, what do you
- 29:56describe the future of Creator Hub as in one word?
- 30:00Mind blowing good. Queens will always be the Oliver
- 30:04Twist. He he chose a compound word,
- 30:06mind and blowing. But it's fine.
- 30:08It's fine. Thank you very much, love and
- 30:10respect to you guys. And of course, I'll catch you
- 30:13guys. We'll catch you guys soon.
- 30:15And of course, to the audience, always go for something in your
- 30:17lives and see if the leaves try to thrive.
- 30:20And of course, go achieve. God bless guys.
