Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to a lily Pad production.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hello Leapfrogs, and welcome back to Fandemonium. We have a
- 0:07Speaker 2: very classic Fandemonium for you today. It's Masters of the Universe.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's kind of topical, about as topical as the gate
- 0:15Speaker 2: Leapers ever are, and it's a full cast lineup. This
- 0:19Speaker 2: was such a joy to record the other night. This
- 0:22Speaker 2: is fresh hot off the presses. I absolutely needed this record.
- 0:26Speaker 2: It was such a joy to record with Drew and
- 0:30Speaker 2: Ben and John and of course Audra, but we see
- 0:33Speaker 2: each other all the time. If you've been following us
- 0:36Speaker 2: for quite some time now, this is going to be
- 0:37Speaker 2: a very classic episode for you. If you're new to
- 0:40Speaker 2: this feed, welcome, Thank you so much for joining us.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I think you're going to have a good time with
- 0:45Speaker 2: this episode as well. We don't get too inside baseball.
- 0:48Speaker 2: This is still very accessible, but it is unhinged in
- 0:51Speaker 2: the best way. A lot of Fandomonium firsts happen in
- 0:55Speaker 2: this episode. Just before we get into the episode, I
- 0:58Speaker 2: want to do a quick play for our next live
- 1:01Speaker 2: show that is happening on July tenth, Friday July tenth,
- 1:05Speaker 2: that is at nine pm at the peak. Improv Theater.
- 1:08Speaker 2: There's a whole night of comedy on that night, so
- 1:10Speaker 2: you don't just have to come for our show. But
- 1:12Speaker 2: our show starts at nine pm. The theme for that
- 1:15Speaker 2: episode is kind of our esoteric fandom of the year,
- 1:19Speaker 2: and it is the Great Outdoors. We will be looking
- 1:21Speaker 2: at American geography, Colorado hiking culture. Trust me, if you
- 1:26Speaker 2: live in Colorado, you know how much of a fandom
- 1:29Speaker 2: the Great Outdoors are. Maybe we'll put some bird stuff
- 1:31Speaker 2: in for Chris. Maybe you'll have to come and see
- 1:34Speaker 2: on July tenth at the Peak Improv Theater at nine pm.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Tickets available at Peakimprov dot com or at the link
- 1:42Speaker 2: at the very top of the show notes. Follow us
- 1:44Speaker 2: on Instagram at gate Leapers pod. There's also a link
- 1:47Speaker 2: to that in the show notes. I believe if you
- 1:50Speaker 2: don't want any of those annoying ads in your podcast
- 1:53Speaker 2: episodes and you're currently listening to this on Spotify or Apple,
- 1:57Speaker 2: then consider heading over to Patreon dot com forward slash
- 2:01Speaker 2: gate Leapers. There's also a link to that in the
- 2:03Speaker 2: show notes. If you follow us for free, you can
- 2:05Speaker 2: listen to the audio completely ad free for free, or
- 2:09Speaker 2: you can support us for three fifty a month and
- 2:12Speaker 2: get access to video episodes, including this one. It won't
- 2:16Speaker 2: be long before we're knocking on the door of one
- 2:18Speaker 2: hundred video episodes. So there's already so much to catch
- 2:21Speaker 2: up on. We have live episodes, bonus panel shows. There
- 2:24Speaker 2: is so much available for just three fifty a month. Okay,
- 2:28Speaker 2: I think that's enough chat from me up top. I'll
- 2:30Speaker 2: be back at the end with the shout outs for
- 2:32Speaker 2: our wonderful executive producers, but for now, please enjoy this
- 2:35Speaker 2: quite topical. It's it's still June, guys, this quite topical.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Pandemonium Masters of the Universe, Hello, and welcome to Pandemonium,
- 3:04Speaker 2: the pop culture game show that shines a spotlight onto
- 3:06Speaker 2: everyone's favorite fandoms. I'm your games master and happy laughing
- 3:10Speaker 2: Skeleton Matt Watson.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Love that guy, but.
- 3:13Speaker 2: A games master needs games, and games need players, so
- 3:16Speaker 2: please welcome. First, she's our resident panelist, a podcaster and
- 3:19Speaker 2: comedian who works in STEM, which today stands for skeleton.
- 3:24Speaker 2: That's evil man, especially when played by Jared Leto. It's
- 3:28Speaker 2: Audre Stevenson, Oh my gosh. Hello, and he is a
- 3:32Speaker 2: comic book artist, podcaster, and master of his universe. In
- 3:36Speaker 2: that space Oddity's is set in a universe that he created.
- 3:39Speaker 2: It's John Williams. Hey, I like that one.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Good.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Nice welcome as always, Audra and John, so good to
- 3:46Speaker 2: see you both.
- 3:47Speaker 3: How are you both doing.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I'm doing great.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I'm doing very well. I'm excited.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yes, John, this was your pick for a fandom for
- 3:55Speaker 2: the year was Masters of the Universe.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Remember if that was the case, that's yeah, it sounds
- 4:02Speaker 4: about right.
- 4:03Speaker 2: And just before we got to recording this, you mentioned
- 4:06Speaker 2: having seen the recent movie. Any quick thoughts on how
- 4:11Speaker 2: you felt about it.
- 4:13Speaker 5: It's definitely worth watching. They it's made by people who
- 4:17Speaker 5: love the property.
- 4:19Speaker 4: For sure. They love it and they know it. You know.
- 4:22Speaker 5: It's it's up to your personal tastes whether or not
- 4:24Speaker 5: it hit the all the right notes. But it's definitely
- 4:29Speaker 5: worth it. It's entertaining.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Okay, okay, now that we've handled the topical stuff, John broadly, Yeah,
- 4:35Speaker 2: are you a fan of Masters of the Universe.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Oh, I certainly am. I grew up on Masters of
- 4:40Speaker 5: the Universe. I would rent the VHS's because it was
- 4:44Speaker 5: just a little bit before my old asses time. And uh,
- 4:49Speaker 5: and I've watched every series that count that that's come
- 4:51Speaker 5: out I've gotten action figures, I've I don't know. Yeah, yes,
- 4:58Speaker 5: I love the series.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Ex Skeleton is the Man My gosh, yes, it was
- 5:06Speaker 2: my favorite part about researching this fandom from before my
- 5:10Speaker 2: time and not my country.
- 5:14Speaker 5: I actually have a Master's of the Universe comic book
- 5:16Speaker 5: that I picked up when I was over on your
- 5:20Speaker 5: on your side of the pond.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Oh nice, Yeah, it was pretty cool.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Excellent, excellent. Sorry if we've segued into your potential meuse.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Oh no, Actually, now that I think.
- 5:32Speaker 2: About it, and this this time, you are pad up
- 5:37Speaker 2: with Audra, Audra, we might we might know the answer
- 5:41Speaker 2: to this. But are you a fan of Masters of
- 5:44Speaker 2: the Universe.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I every time I see it, I think it looks cool.
- 5:50Speaker 1: But I just never watched any of it. But I
- 5:56Speaker 1: think it's one of those things that is iconic enough
- 5:58Speaker 1: that is permeated the sphere. Just he Man and Sira.
- 6:05Speaker 3: You just know, ay you talking about that one meme song?
- 6:09Speaker 1: No, okay, I was just talking about the names and skeletor,
- 6:13Speaker 1: like you know the characters even if you don't know, Yeah,
- 6:16Speaker 1: the property deeply you have the powerfully that's also a
- 6:22Speaker 1: reference that I recognize. I think we're gonna be fine.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, you're gonna do great. You're gonna do great.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Uh but well, okay, we've met the sword, now let's
- 6:34Speaker 2: meet the sorcery. He is a podcaster, voice artist, and
- 6:38Speaker 2: first wave pick in a line of gately pers action figures.
- 6:40Speaker 3: It's Drew Shulman.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Ooh delivered the edition one Glows in the Dark.
- 6:47Speaker 2: And he is a comic book writer, podcaster, and geek
- 6:49Speaker 2: explorer of the Universe, which he is also the master
- 6:52Speaker 2: of because he created it.
- 6:53Speaker 3: I've reused the joke.
- 6:54Speaker 2: It's Ben Robinson, Drew, Ben, how are you both doing fantastic?
- 7:02Speaker 2: Doing good as always excellent stuff. Look, you know that
- 7:06Speaker 2: you've done this a thousand times. You know the next
- 7:08Speaker 2: question in the format, Drew, are you a fan of
- 7:10Speaker 2: Masters at the Universe?
- 7:12Speaker 4: I feel like I'm taking the address seat on this team.
- 7:14Speaker 4: It's a franchise I am very aware of. But like that,
- 7:20Speaker 4: like tangentially, my content is pretty much the modern Netflix
- 7:26Speaker 4: Shira Show. And then last night I saw the movie
- 7:30Speaker 4: Oh fun, there is the peak of my knowledge. Yeah,
- 7:35Speaker 4: very badly skeletor beams of course, very quickly. What did
- 7:39Speaker 4: you think of the of the movie as well? So
- 7:41Speaker 4: we can be somewhat topical. I'll be honest. I went
- 7:44Speaker 4: in expecting to be kind of like cash grabby and bad,
- 7:47Speaker 4: and like the reviews I had seen were kind of like, oh,
- 7:50Speaker 4: it's like not really good. It kind of like laughs
- 7:52Speaker 4: at the property. But I felt that it was like, Oh,
- 7:54Speaker 4: it's like it's self aware, like making fun of like
- 7:57Speaker 4: the silliness of it without being like that, like it
- 8:01Speaker 4: doesn't punch down on itself. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Honestly Jared Leto's best work. But I guess you can't
- 8:08Speaker 4: see mutter. Just pretend it's not him exactly. It's better
- 8:15Speaker 4: than a cult.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Yes, yes, definitely. I liked him in the nineties when
- 8:19Speaker 2: people would always kill him in movies. That was I
- 8:22Speaker 2: couldn't have just stayed in that lane.
- 8:25Speaker 4: And if I had to join a sex call between
- 8:26Speaker 4: Jared Letto and Skeletor, you know which one I'm joining.
- 8:29Speaker 4: You've all seen the skeletor lying sexily? Mean we all
- 8:31Speaker 4: know it.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, it's a bone joke in there somewhere.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Yeah, Ben, are you interested in skeleton lying sexily? And
- 8:38Speaker 2: by that, I mean are you a fan of Mustus?
- 8:40Speaker 2: Of the Unfs.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Yes on both yeah, no, I this is I grew
- 8:46Speaker 6: up with this schlock. Uh you can say it's allowed
- 8:51Speaker 6: y excuse me? The uh yeah, I got the people's
- 8:55Speaker 6: complaining about like the movie. Didn't you know it was
- 8:59Speaker 6: kind of boom being on the property. It's like, have
- 9:01Speaker 6: you gone back and watched Mesters?
- 9:04Speaker 4: It is?
- 9:04Speaker 6: It's fucking rough. It is very much made for kids.
- 9:07Speaker 6: It is real just like low quality. But I ate
- 9:10Speaker 6: that ship up when I was seven or eight years
- 9:12Speaker 6: old and getting giant buff dude action figures and like
- 9:16Speaker 6: it was rad for an eight year old in the
- 9:19Speaker 6: you know, in like the eighties and early nineties.
- 9:21Speaker 2: So yeah, and that's what the eighties and early nineties
- 9:24Speaker 2: were all about, was about giving kids jack dudes.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Between this and wrestling, how are there any straight men left? Right?
- 9:34Speaker 6: Gosh, we're dwindling, that's all he.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Man's fault, Thank you he Man.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Oh fantastic.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Okay, teams, you're already absolutely jacked members of a royal family.
- 9:51Speaker 2: But it's time to raise your swords in the air
- 9:53Speaker 2: and somehow become even more jack than that. Would you
- 9:56Speaker 2: believe it? Could you believe it? I sure don't. With
- 10:00Speaker 2: your new powers. You'll need an alter ego for your duo,
- 10:03Speaker 2: So I'd like each pad to come up with the
- 10:04Speaker 2: Masters of the Universe themed team name. Please, let's start
- 10:07Speaker 2: with Audra and John.
- 10:08Speaker 4: What you got? Yeah?
- 10:11Speaker 1: John, what you got?
- 10:14Speaker 5: I've got a few options, don't I don't know what's good,
- 10:18Speaker 5: but I've got because it's the two of us on here.
- 10:21Speaker 4: I've got she man.
- 10:23Speaker 5: Oh nice, it's a I imagine Ben and I are
- 10:28Speaker 5: going to have something similar on here, but skeletor classic.
- 10:31Speaker 5: I've got the royal boobs. Come in your royal boob. Sorry,
- 10:39Speaker 5: I've got the cosmic keys. I've got the subordinates of
- 10:44Speaker 5: the universe and muscles and bones.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Oh oh good choices that these are good.
- 10:52Speaker 4: I think I've bit a that gay bar to feel
- 11:00Speaker 4: like that could be the response to like character right, Oh,
- 11:05Speaker 4: it made one. Definitely not bar.
- 11:09Speaker 6: It is for me, It just swings the other way.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I was. I know. Maybe it's because it's the first
- 11:18Speaker 1: one that truly popped me. But I am loving the
- 11:21Speaker 1: royal boobs.
- 11:24Speaker 3: The royal boobs, it is.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Got it?
- 11:26Speaker 1: And then and then in the lightning round we get
- 11:29Speaker 1: to muzz in with boob.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Yeah, like, what were you saying, Ben, we we had one.
- 11:35Speaker 5: It was on Slashers where we are the It was
- 11:37Speaker 5: the gratuitous Yeah, the gratuitous boobs.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Oh yes, yeah, the theme.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Everybody loves boobs, okay, royal boobs versus true.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Ben, I have a few bad ones if you want
- 11:51Speaker 4: to get them out of the way quickly.
- 11:53Speaker 6: I love I love bad team names. Let's go, we
- 11:56Speaker 6: have the we them masters of the US Universe.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Why.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Uh?
- 12:05Speaker 4: Just the only two pun names I can come up
- 12:07Speaker 4: with were trap Drew and Evil. Ben, I love evil.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Evil is the best name we've ever received. Yeah. Next
- 12:16Speaker 4: up was Castle Gay Skull or or more tastefully fifty
- 12:23Speaker 4: shades of gray Skull. Yeah. More. And then lastly was
- 12:27Speaker 4: the he Man splainers, So Audre, the reason that joke
- 12:29Speaker 4: is funny is because, and I am shutting up.
- 12:35Speaker 2: There are advantages to booking only one woman on a panel,
- 12:38Speaker 2: and it's not right.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'm here for it. I'm here for it.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Thank you, thank you so much for being the token.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Woman where I belong. I'm so sorry to every woman
- 12:55Speaker 1: out there.
- 12:57Speaker 6: Ben John alluded to, uh, we had a little bit
- 13:01Speaker 6: of overlap on at least one of these. I had
- 13:03Speaker 6: Skeletor's boobs as one of mine. Uh, the team of
- 13:09Speaker 6: power and uh, you know, just to to you know,
- 13:13Speaker 6: we don't want to use you know, oppressive language here,
- 13:16Speaker 6: so to be a little bit more inclusive. We could
- 13:18Speaker 6: be the experts of the universe.
- 13:19Speaker 4: I don't want to than the word master. Part of
- 13:27Speaker 4: me is tend to say, with your Skeletor's boobs, just.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I'm going to veto. That's immediately. The quick fire around
- 13:38Speaker 2: today is already difficult enough.
- 13:42Speaker 4: Oh, I have ideas already. I know where you're going.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Oh my god, what was the first one you had? Again?
- 13:49Speaker 6: Skeletor's boobs?
- 13:51Speaker 4: That was the next one? Was the next one?
- 13:52Speaker 2: All right?
- 13:54Speaker 4: Power?
- 13:54Speaker 6: Like the sort of power. It's not great. I liked
- 13:56Speaker 6: some of yours better than the rest of mine.
- 13:58Speaker 4: So was there one in particularly on my new thought
- 14:01Speaker 4: was stood out like like trap Evil? It was just
- 14:04Speaker 4: so simple. Yeah, I'm down, let's go. I don't know what.
- 14:10Speaker 6: In the last one, but yes, let's go. Trap Drew
- 14:12Speaker 6: and even.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Yelling evils gonna be pretty fun. Els the Immortal Battle.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Amen, Okay, we've got the royal boobs versus Trap Drew
- 14:31Speaker 2: and Evil. Ben found a way to get your names
- 14:38Speaker 2: in the episode title, look at.
- 14:39Speaker 4: That, Look at all for.
- 14:44Speaker 6: That's what people are looking for us.
- 14:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I want people to associate Drew with trap. That's
- 14:52Speaker 4: clearly the connection I want to make there.
- 14:55Speaker 3: And Adro with nice.
- 14:58Speaker 4: All right.
- 14:58Speaker 2: And if you're listening to this and thinking, she ra
- 15:02Speaker 2: he man, why did they have so many woke pronouns
- 15:05Speaker 2: in the eighties, don't worry. Here's Ouldre with the least
- 15:09Speaker 2: walk decade.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Ever.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Here's Auldre with a little segment we like to call
- 15:12Speaker 2: passing knowledge.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Amen not amen to it being.
- 15:18Speaker 4: No amen, as in that they're the ones to blame.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Yeah, blame amen. Masters of the Universe is an American
- 15:27Speaker 1: sword and Planet media franchise created by Mattel in nineteen
- 15:31Speaker 1: eighty two, peaking in popularity in nineteen eighty five and
- 15:36Speaker 1: introducing me to the term sword and planet in twenty
- 15:39Speaker 1: twenty six. The main premise revolves around the conflict on
- 15:44Speaker 1: the planet Eternia between he Man and skeleton whore. Wait, sorry,
- 15:51Speaker 1: I think I misread that. Oh it's skeletore Bummer. The
- 15:57Speaker 1: world has a vast lineup of supporting characters in a
- 16:00Speaker 1: hybrid setting of medieval sword and sorcery and sci fi technology.
- 16:04Speaker 1: It's like now where all the AI users have the
- 16:07Speaker 1: sci fi tech and the rest of us have the
- 16:10Speaker 1: sorcery that is social skills. A follow up series, Shira
- 16:17Speaker 1: Princess of Power, revolves around he Man's sister Shira and
- 16:21Speaker 1: her rebellion against the whore. Wait, I missed, fuck, I
- 16:25Speaker 1: must read that again. It's a horde now. Honestly, they've
- 16:29Speaker 1: fully lost me at this point. Since its initial launch,
- 16:34Speaker 1: the franchise has spawned a variety of products, including action figures, cartoons, comics,
- 16:39Speaker 1: video games, feature films, and that really awesome four non
- 16:43Speaker 1: blonde music video. You remember that that slapped What's going on,
- 16:50Speaker 1: you may ask, we're playing pandemonium?
- 16:54Speaker 3: Yes, thank you, Audra.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Just before we get to today's games, and just before
- 16:59Speaker 2: Drew dies, I've asked each player to bring in a muse,
- 17:02Speaker 2: something that inspires them or something they love from this
- 17:04Speaker 2: particular fandom. Masters of the Universe is inspiring to me
- 17:08Speaker 2: because if you have a dream in your heart, a
- 17:10Speaker 2: toy company in your investment portfolio, you too can make.
- 17:13Speaker 2: But cartoons for kids already kind of made that joke
- 17:18Speaker 2: just a bit earlier, but forgot that. I wrote that one. John,
- 17:23Speaker 2: We'll start with you. What's inspiring you from the world
- 17:25Speaker 2: of he he Man. I've got a Michael Jackson reference
- 17:29Speaker 2: for you that. I've got a two for here. The
- 17:33Speaker 2: the obvious one is the action figures.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Yeah, look at those guys.
- 17:38Speaker 4: This is where it all started with with some with
- 17:41Speaker 4: some buff action. I mean these are these are new ones.
- 17:43Speaker 6: And they're not as buff as the originally.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Yeah, but but.
- 17:48Speaker 5: Yeah, they made a more like But that segues into
- 17:56Speaker 5: my love of Skeletor. I love Skeletor so much. In
- 17:59Speaker 5: the last couple of play as I lived, I had
- 18:01Speaker 5: a shrine to Skeletor that was full of action figures
- 18:05Speaker 5: and thermoses and uh uh fan art and DVDs and
- 18:10Speaker 5: rubber stamps and stuff. So I brought along a bunch
- 18:14Speaker 5: of Skeletores. Also, this is from the from the revamp series.
- 18:17Speaker 5: This is from the two thousand and two series. Yes,
- 18:20Speaker 5: and then here's here's the proportions of the og Skeletor
- 18:25Speaker 5: that's the original unrealistic.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Got a little little.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Little swing action there so you can bitch slap you
- 18:33Speaker 5: and then I'm a giant man. They are standing next
- 18:40Speaker 5: to each other yep, this is my part again even
- 18:46Speaker 5: has the little the little the bitch slap waist.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Oh oh my gosh.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Yeah, So that's that's my muse.
- 18:55Speaker 5: The action figures and Skeletor because I love them so much.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Incredible. Yeah, but as it's been mentioned, such a beam
- 19:04Speaker 2: character that like, even though when you suggested Masters of
- 19:08Speaker 2: the Universe, John, I said, what's that again? And then
- 19:11Speaker 2: you reminded me that it was he Man, Skeleton, she Ra,
- 19:14Speaker 2: and I was like, oh, of course, and Skeleton is
- 19:17Speaker 2: the main guy who he's the main character? Hell yeah,
- 19:22Speaker 2: excellent muse uh odro what's inspiring you from Masters of
- 19:26Speaker 2: the Universe.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I'm in an era of growth and becoming like the
- 19:33Speaker 1: fullest version of me, and this series is genuinely quite
- 19:38Speaker 1: inspiring to me. I all the images I saw of Sheira,
- 19:41Speaker 1: I was like, I want the fashion he Man. I
- 19:45Speaker 1: might also get a County Bob, and then I want
- 19:50Speaker 1: the aura and fuck ability of Skeletor. Yeah, and so
- 19:54Speaker 1: these those three characters they're going on my vision board
- 20:00Speaker 1: and I I genuinely might bring in a picture of
- 20:02Speaker 1: he Man and be like, yes, County straight across Bob,
- 20:05Speaker 1: that's what I want.
- 20:08Speaker 2: I love the idea. Could you film that? And it
- 20:11Speaker 2: can be extra funding on content.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Me getting a haircut or mere.
- 20:15Speaker 2: You walking in with a picture of he Man to
- 20:17Speaker 2: Baba's and then just say bring the toy.
- 20:23Speaker 1: He does have like a little bit of volume, and
- 20:27Speaker 1: I think that that's important. I want straight across its
- 20:30Speaker 1: blunt cut Bob with volume, and that's what he has.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Little farah faucet uh huh.
- 20:36Speaker 6: He's only got the volume as he Man, though when
- 20:38Speaker 6: he's Prince Adam, it's it's just who that's like real power.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Like watching any of the older shows, like any of
- 20:48Speaker 4: the bits I have absorbed, I feel like the transformation
- 20:51Speaker 4: is basically just clothing with the actual body doesn't change much.
- 20:55Speaker 4: But you're right, it's the clothing and the hair and
- 20:57Speaker 4: the tank and yes.
- 21:00Speaker 1: And that's really what makes the he Man.
- 21:04Speaker 6: You could be a she Adra.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Good damn, then I wouldn't get to yell boobs.
- 21:14Speaker 3: That's so true.
- 21:16Speaker 6: That could just be your catchphrase.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I could still yell yes.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I mean three icons of pop culture and they're all
- 21:23Speaker 2: inspiring you and your personal growth journey.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Yes, they're going on the vision board, and.
- 21:27Speaker 3: I agree you have the fusibility of skeleton.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Yes, I'm Oh my god, I'm already there.
- 21:33Speaker 2: I'm fantastic. Okay, let's move on over to Trap Drew,
- 21:37Speaker 2: Evil Ben. Let's start with Drew. What's inspiring you from
- 21:40Speaker 2: the world of he Man.
- 21:42Speaker 4: I feel like we've trade on this a little bit,
- 21:43Speaker 4: but I want to come out it from a slightly
- 21:44Speaker 4: different angle. And for me, it really is the idea that, like, hey,
- 21:48Speaker 4: we have these toys, how do we make them not
- 21:51Speaker 4: just pieces of plastic on a shelf and make them interesting?
- 21:54Speaker 4: And the like ridiculous level of overly complicated world building
- 21:58Speaker 4: that comes out of these toys and these like ridiculous
- 22:01Speaker 4: plot lines and narratives and comics and TV shows and
- 22:04Speaker 4: movies and fandoms that just sort of like spring out
- 22:07Speaker 4: of nowhere, all because some dudes had plastic injected molded
- 22:11Speaker 4: dudes and different colors, and we're like, how do we
- 22:14Speaker 4: sell this to kids? How do we make this mold
- 22:17Speaker 4: of a puma into a battle cat? I don't know,
- 22:20Speaker 4: magic Armored put it in the show. That's all it took.
- 22:24Speaker 4: I mean it's like corporate bullshit, like you know, sealing
- 22:28Speaker 4: money from kids, making them buy garbage, But at the
- 22:30Speaker 4: same time, like it built these amazing worlds, and while
- 22:33Speaker 4: I might not be the greatest origin story for the characters,
- 22:36Speaker 4: it's just sort of like charming that they grew into
- 22:39Speaker 4: this from basically garbage.
- 22:41Speaker 6: Yeah, if you haven't seen The Toys that made Us
- 22:44Speaker 6: on Masters of the Universe, it is the best episode
- 22:47Speaker 6: of that show.
- 22:48Speaker 4: So you check that out.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Very good episode, fantastic, Yeah, very very inspiring, Drew to
- 22:54Speaker 2: just point out the realities of the origins of this fandom,
- 22:58Speaker 2: kind of why it came to be. How even if
- 23:01Speaker 2: like you're a corporate suit incredibly cynical just trying to
- 23:05Speaker 2: pedal pieces of plastic, kids are still going to take
- 23:08Speaker 2: it and run with it and create infinite worlds with
- 23:11Speaker 2: their toys and like enjoy like classic twenty minute Saturday
- 23:16Speaker 2: morning cartoons. They only need to be so good because
- 23:18Speaker 2: they're for the kids on Saturday mornings.
- 23:20Speaker 4: They're literally they're literally commercials in the guise of a show.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, very very well said. Great muse Finally, Ben,
- 23:30Speaker 2: what's inspiring you.
- 23:32Speaker 6: I'm inspired by the concept of contrition because I need to,
- 23:38Speaker 6: you know, the memory of all the brave just men
- 23:43Speaker 6: of Eternia, because I did not have any I didn't
- 23:47Speaker 6: have like Sheirah or evil in it.
- 23:49Speaker 4: But I had a lot of.
- 23:52Speaker 6: Big buff dudes in my toy collection, and by the
- 23:55Speaker 6: time I turned thirteen, they were all thoroughly destroyed. They
- 23:59Speaker 6: got burned, microwaved, smashed, molded into like, you know, gory
- 24:07Speaker 6: dioramas of chemical plant explosions.
- 24:10Speaker 4: I feel like I remember a nail through one of them.
- 24:12Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yeah, I just I mangled and like brutalized
- 24:16Speaker 6: every single one of these poor guys, and they and
- 24:19Speaker 6: I'm sorry.
- 24:22Speaker 2: I mean, it's good that in this public forum you've apologized,
- 24:24Speaker 2: because yeah, I had the reference from Drew. Then it
- 24:27Speaker 2: did sound very sid from toy story.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And I think they forgive you from heaven.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Well, they definitely are. Yeah, oh I love that so much.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Always an advocate for concepts being people's muses. Remember we
- 24:46Speaker 2: can be inspired by concepts. That's that's great. Yeah, because
- 24:50Speaker 2: like all of our toys that we played within some
- 24:53Speaker 2: kind of action way, almost like action figures, because that's
- 24:56Speaker 2: why they were called that they ended up with missing arms,
- 25:00Speaker 2: missing legs, nails through them. Apparently, lots of fun.
- 25:06Speaker 1: My barbiees got real messed up.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Yeah, so did my sisters in combat with the he Men.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Oh, fantastic teams. Are we ready for some games? Should
- 25:19Speaker 2: we have some competition.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Around this whole thing?
- 25:22Speaker 4: Yes, let's do. Yes.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Well, then by the power of gray skull, because gray
- 25:26Speaker 2: is a cheaper color to make a plastic toy out of.
- 25:28Speaker 1: It's time for round one.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Round one is our classic game of deliberation, elimination and
- 25:38Speaker 2: deception that this time we're calling the fake men like
- 25:41Speaker 2: the snake men.
- 25:42Speaker 3: It rhymes.
- 25:43Speaker 2: I will name a category and then offer each team
- 25:46Speaker 2: a list of five things supposedly from that category.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Three are correct to a false.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Players will select correct answers one by one for a
- 25:53Speaker 2: maximum of three points per list, but select a wrong
- 25:56Speaker 2: answer and they'll be frozen out of the list, like
- 25:58Speaker 2: in the episode The Region of Ice when the Royal
- 26:01Speaker 2: family were frozen by the Ice Lord. Thank you he
- 26:04Speaker 2: Man Wikipedia Deep Lore, so you all know how to
- 26:10Speaker 2: play this game. Come on, it's a classic. The first
- 26:14Speaker 2: category is heroic warriors, just the names of heroic warriors
- 26:19Speaker 2: figured something like this would come up, and they can
- 26:22Speaker 2: be from any era of he Man. And as I
- 26:25Speaker 2: mentioned previously, the he Man Wiki is the is the
- 26:29Speaker 2: source of this.
- 26:29Speaker 5: There's a oh ship there was there was that that
- 26:32Speaker 5: that Netflix one I watched like one season with my daughter,
- 26:35Speaker 5: the newer one, the three. D Oh boy, that's a
- 26:37Speaker 5: weak spot.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Let's see if any of them come up.
- 26:40Speaker 6: And I bet, I bet it includes characters too.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Oh boy, Oh yeah, my m Drew. Oh that I
- 26:49Speaker 4: can name all three men from that show. We're good heroes, Claire.
- 26:59Speaker 1: True, Not all men are heroes.
- 27:04Speaker 2: You can probably guess what the next category is going
- 27:06Speaker 2: to be, but not the third. I'd be surprised if
- 27:10Speaker 2: you could guess the third one. Anyway, let's get this
- 27:13Speaker 2: game of rolling the royal boobs. Here is your list
- 27:16Speaker 2: of five. Battle Cat, George or Hurry, Kane, Meca Neck,
- 27:24Speaker 2: and Duncan. Oh shit, okay, Adra any thoughts.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Duncan is almost like Dunk and Egg. So I'm gonna
- 27:37Speaker 1: say that's not one.
- 27:39Speaker 4: All right.
- 27:39Speaker 1: So that's what I think Matt was referencing when he
- 27:43Speaker 1: invented that one.
- 27:45Speaker 6: I think it's important that you take her advice.
- 27:47Speaker 4: John, I don't.
- 27:50Speaker 5: I don't want this to be like like I remember
- 27:52Speaker 5: Superman forever ago and I'm just like, oh, shut.
- 27:54Speaker 4: I know all these things.
- 27:57Speaker 1: No, I trust you.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Gay battle Cat real battle Cat is indeed real for
- 28:04Speaker 2: a point.
- 28:04Speaker 1: God, I was hoping battle Cat was real.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Real Mechanic is indeed real for two points.
- 28:11Speaker 4: And I'm sorry, Duncan. That is the real name of
- 28:15Speaker 4: Man at Arms.
- 28:16Speaker 2: It is indeed not falling for that at all. It
- 28:19Speaker 2: is Duncan, just a regular guy's name.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Just a donut hands in the movie Last.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I hope I didn't wait this too far in
- 28:32Speaker 2: the other way, considering John John is the expert.
- 28:38Speaker 5: But I think I got I got off to a
- 28:40Speaker 5: to a lucky start. There is a lot I don't
- 28:43Speaker 5: know once we get into vehicles, Like we've got a
- 28:45Speaker 5: buddy that knows all the vehicles and I do not.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yeah, let's see if they come up.
- 28:52Speaker 4: Category two is the vehicles or the animals? Do well?
- 28:56Speaker 3: Trap?
- 28:56Speaker 2: Drew Evil? Ben, Can I call you trap evil? Is
- 29:00Speaker 2: that is that? Okay?
- 29:01Speaker 4: Yes, okay? Trap? People love it?
- 29:05Speaker 3: Tripeval.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Here's your list of five heroic warriors supposedly way out Fisto,
- 29:13Speaker 2: many faces, Yukas, and Titania.
- 29:19Speaker 6: I know one of them, No, two for sure?
- 29:23Speaker 4: Okay, Well, I guess we both know Fisto. I'm guessing.
- 29:26Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, Fisto for sure.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Of course, Fisto for sure, you're gonna you're gonna have
- 29:30Speaker 2: a kid's TV character called Fisto.
- 29:32Speaker 4: You don't forget being.
- 29:33Speaker 6: Fisted Absolutely a point and then many faces.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I did know that one, okay, I think yeah, absolutely
- 29:43Speaker 2: manny faces, good stuff.
- 29:46Speaker 4: What were the other three?
- 29:47Speaker 2: The other three were way Out Yuckers and Titania.
- 29:54Speaker 4: Titania sounds familiar. I don't know why. I'm probably making
- 29:57Speaker 4: it up.
- 29:58Speaker 6: I mean there's a it's a character in Hello from
- 30:01Speaker 6: the Magic Tavern called Queen Titania.
- 30:03Speaker 4: She has big boobs, royal boobs.
- 30:06Speaker 6: She has royal boobs. Yeah, so I don't know if
- 30:08Speaker 6: she got that from he Man or not. If that's
- 30:11Speaker 6: a he Man reference. It could be those guys are nerds.
- 30:16Speaker 4: And the other two were was it yuckers?
- 30:19Speaker 3: Yuckers, yuckahs and uh.
- 30:22Speaker 4: Like the of the accent. Yeah, Wayout has that very
- 30:27Speaker 4: g I Joe name of like it's it's it's what
- 30:29Speaker 4: I do. I get people out of things. I'm way out.
- 30:31Speaker 6: Yeah, Uh, I mean Titanya. You want to go to Titania?
- 30:36Speaker 4: Can I ask clarification? Yuckers? How is it spelt Yuka?
- 30:40Speaker 3: Is this spelt? Why you k K E R S That's.
- 30:45Speaker 4: Exactly how I expect. I know, isn't that weird? That's
- 30:47Speaker 4: what I had in my head. I just couldn't tell
- 30:49Speaker 4: if the accent was getting me off and it was
- 30:51Speaker 4: like why u kka and that the R was just
- 30:53Speaker 4: coming in as part of the accent or some things
- 30:55Speaker 4: I want to clarify. Not that it was changed my opinion.
- 30:58Speaker 4: I think it's still Titania.
- 30:59Speaker 6: Honestly, Yuckers sounds way too millennial or British, one.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Of the two.
- 31:06Speaker 3: So you're going with.
- 31:08Speaker 2: H Yeah, Yukas is what we call the city rubbish dump,
- 31:15Speaker 2: but it is actually Yuckers is the correct answer?
- 31:19Speaker 3: Called Yukas?
- 31:21Speaker 2: Uh, Titania made up and way out also made up.
- 31:25Speaker 3: But I was going for a G I. Joe sounding name,
- 31:28Speaker 3: so good stuff.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Who is Yuckers? Where is that from?
- 31:34Speaker 1: These?
- 31:36Speaker 5: It's got to be New Adventures or the or the
- 31:39Speaker 5: Netflix series, I mean the three D one, I will say.
- 31:43Speaker 4: Seeing clips of both those shows while I was doing
- 31:45Speaker 4: some incredibly miniscule research after the movie, I was like, oh,
- 31:48Speaker 4: this look pretty good to watch those.
- 31:50Speaker 1: He looks adorable.
- 31:52Speaker 2: He looks similar to the other comic relief guy, the Little.
- 31:58Speaker 6: Guy, the Black Maid whose name, I will not it
- 32:03Speaker 6: comes up.
- 32:04Speaker 4: I know, yeah, I mean John knows it. Yeah, he
- 32:08Speaker 4: was the only character I was like watching the movie,
- 32:10Speaker 4: like why is here? Where is he? Thank god he
- 32:12Speaker 4: wasn't there. Probably from this series, the New Adventures.
- 32:17Speaker 2: There we go, but we simply don't have time to
- 32:19Speaker 2: find out if it actually is. We're going to move
- 32:21Speaker 2: on to a new cats agree this time it is villains.
- 32:26Speaker 2: We are looking at villains from Masters of the Universe.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Back on over to the Royal Boobs. Here is your
- 32:31Speaker 2: list of five clawful, scare glow, raptor, stab baddy, and
- 32:41Speaker 2: tongue lash all.
- 32:44Speaker 5: Oh geez, so there's four that that sound that sounds.
- 32:49Speaker 4: Also sounds so good?
- 32:51Speaker 5: Okay, So do you think your most Yeah, scared glow
- 32:57Speaker 5: for sure.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Scare absolutely for a point to good stuff?
- 33:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:02Speaker 5: Second, okay, so there was there was raptor, tongue lash or,
- 33:06Speaker 5: and what was the first one?
- 33:08Speaker 4: Clawful?
- 33:08Speaker 3: Clawful?
- 33:10Speaker 4: See clawful? Also okay? Oh boy, I.
- 33:17Speaker 5: I think I I think I want to go tongue
- 33:20Speaker 5: lash or. Are you okay with that?
- 33:21Speaker 4: Odre or? Is there something that's calling you?
- 33:24Speaker 1: Nothing is calling me other than the answer that you
- 33:27Speaker 1: think is most likely.
- 33:28Speaker 4: To address clearly down for a tongue lash or.
- 33:32Speaker 6: Yeah, tung lasher calls you answer.
- 33:36Speaker 7: Yeah, I think I want to go for tongue lash
- 33:38Speaker 7: or going tongue lash or mm hmm, yes, indeed that
- 33:43Speaker 7: is correct, spell spelled t u n G.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Tongue. Oh, why does that seem dirty or somehow?
- 33:51Speaker 6: I mean.
- 33:53Speaker 4: Ends with or.
- 33:54Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a sexual inuendo. It's probably a he man character,
- 33:59Speaker 6: you know.
- 33:59Speaker 5: I don't know, you know, I feel like I feel
- 34:04Speaker 5: like Raptor is a red herring. Wait, so what do
- 34:08Speaker 5: I have? I have Raptor, clawfel and stab body.
- 34:13Speaker 1: I feel like that one's a pokemon.
- 34:16Speaker 5: Yeah, it doesn't sound like a pokemon, you know, even
- 34:20Speaker 5: though it doesn't the formula, I think I want to
- 34:24Speaker 5: go clawfel.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I'm down for it. I'm down for clawfel. Let's be clawful,
- 34:31Speaker 1: evil nice.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Let's go for it, going with clawful, even though Adron
- 34:38Speaker 2: knows I love crustaceans and will always make up things
- 34:40Speaker 2: about No, it's claw.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Genuinely, Oh my god, what's my heart?
- 34:46Speaker 4: Right? That's all tricksy this time?
- 34:51Speaker 6: Yeah, with a did you put a hyphen in there?
- 34:55Speaker 4: Oh?
- 34:56Speaker 6: Yeah? And you say you masters of the universe.
- 35:03Speaker 4: No, that just knows bad puns.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, Spotify rapped or.
- 35:10Speaker 1: I just had to get another bad pun in there.
- 35:12Speaker 6: Good God, if it was one I was, I hope
- 35:15Speaker 6: it was like a dinosaur with a backwards hat and
- 35:18Speaker 6: a big gold chain.
- 35:19Speaker 4: Oh god, yeah, we shall go get some Starmer Raptors.
- 35:24Speaker 5: It was late in the toy series they were really stretching,
- 35:27Speaker 5: trying to reach new demographics.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Yeah, come out, Okay, Well, let's see what these five
- 35:36Speaker 2: names are going to be like, because we've got five
- 35:38Speaker 2: more villains for trap Evil. Trap Evil could even be
- 35:42Speaker 2: the name of a character. Here is your list of five.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Stink or Kwondo, Evil Seed, pighead Boy, and twist Oid.
- 35:58Speaker 4: I weirdly know one.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I think I also weirdly know one.
- 36:03Speaker 4: It's not that weird, everybody. It's a good one to know.
- 36:06Speaker 6: Yeah, I know one for sure because I named one
- 36:09Speaker 6: of my sheep after him.
- 36:11Speaker 4: I hope it's not the one I'm thinking.
- 36:13Speaker 6: Of, because because he looked like a skunk.
- 36:16Speaker 4: He's got his head black and white. Said, do we
- 36:19Speaker 4: want to I guess I'm gonna assume and hope that
- 36:21Speaker 4: stink or that is in fact stink or that is
- 36:24Speaker 4: that also like stink hyphen core c O R E
- 36:26Speaker 4: or something.
- 36:27Speaker 6: I don't think that one has a hyphen in.
- 36:29Speaker 4: That one was all one word.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Okay, so yeah you go, it's stink. Call you gotta pint,
- 36:34Speaker 2: you gotta pint?
- 36:36Speaker 4: It was. I guess we should wait for man to
- 36:38Speaker 4: say it was.
- 36:38Speaker 2: No, no, no, I'm pretty sure I just need to
- 36:41Speaker 2: show up with the script at this point.
- 36:42Speaker 3: And for some.
- 36:44Speaker 6: Of these fandoms, I feel yea like real stinking action
- 36:48Speaker 6: where like like it actually stunk.
- 36:51Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the best thing ever.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Someone in the factor just shived it up there before.
- 36:57Speaker 4: That's dedication. It was the same day they were making
- 37:00Speaker 4: hires next door and they were like, hey, I got
- 37:01Speaker 4: an idea only because I was looking up the IMDb
- 37:07Speaker 4: for the movie afterwards, and pighead Man or pighead Boy
- 37:11Speaker 4: was credited as a character like an actor was credited
- 37:14Speaker 4: as playing that character was the one that makes Elea
- 37:17Speaker 4: tore up. I think so, So either it's an incredibly
- 37:20Speaker 4: elaborate ruse or weird that pig head something.
- 37:27Speaker 2: This pig head Man or pighead Boy is what's on
- 37:30Speaker 2: the list here, pighead boy.
- 37:32Speaker 6: I mean, they don't all get names. You know, it'd
- 37:34Speaker 6: be like, you know, man in Shop number two, Like
- 37:36Speaker 6: that's a character in a movie, still right, And I mean.
- 37:41Speaker 4: He didn't even mention that he like killed his parents
- 37:43Speaker 4: or something, so technically he'd be the boy of some
- 37:45Speaker 4: dead pig head man. I mean, if you have an
- 37:48Speaker 4: inkling on any other name over this one, what was evil?
- 37:52Speaker 3: What evil seed?
- 37:54Speaker 4: I don't think that one's right. That feels familiar, but
- 37:57Speaker 4: from a different franchise, I'm very certain.
- 37:59Speaker 6: Yeah, Kwondo Twistoid like Kwondo rang some sort of bell
- 38:04Speaker 6: deep in my brain, but it's I don't know what
- 38:06Speaker 6: it is.
- 38:07Speaker 4: A sounds like a random one off character in a
- 38:10Speaker 4: Doctor Strange comic.
- 38:11Speaker 6: Honestly, Yeah, twist Oid sounds semi familiar, but it doesn't
- 38:15Speaker 6: feel it doesn't feel eterney into me.
- 38:20Speaker 4: Let's go with let's go with your.
- 38:21Speaker 6: You've got good boy, let's go for that.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Okay, we are in a very interesting position here, we
- 38:30Speaker 2: are in a pandemonium first one.
- 38:32Speaker 6: But it's actually it is credited in the movie.
- 38:35Speaker 2: It's it's absolutely close enough. So there was a knockoff.
- 38:39Speaker 2: There was a knockoff brand of toys called like Sunman
- 38:43Speaker 2: or something like that. Well, they were like Knockoff he Man,
- 38:46Speaker 2: and there was a character in that called Pighead Boy,
- 38:48Speaker 2: So I was like, oh, I'll take that and it
- 38:50Speaker 2: be one of the fake ones. But there is a
- 38:53Speaker 2: character called pighead in the new film that might even
- 38:56Speaker 2: be a reference to, like a little reference to that.
- 39:00Speaker 2: So I think what I'm gonna say is, you're not
- 39:02Speaker 2: allowed to take a guess at the next one, but
- 39:04Speaker 2: I am giving you the point for that, and that's
- 39:06Speaker 2: the middle ruling on that.
- 39:07Speaker 3: So you I'm going to give it to you, and.
- 39:09Speaker 7: We only give one more guess still, but you won't Well,
- 39:13Speaker 7: I think that's it he's saying.
- 39:14Speaker 4: He's saying, he's saying he'll freeze us out of the
- 39:16Speaker 4: list as if we got it wrong, but give us
- 39:18Speaker 4: a point. Was technically right, okay, so still we get two,
- 39:24Speaker 4: we get two points, and we don't have to take
- 39:25Speaker 4: a random wild guess the other three and potentially get
- 39:27Speaker 4: no point anyways.
- 39:28Speaker 3: So yeah, that's is that, that's a democratic ruling.
- 39:32Speaker 4: I think that seems fair. I think it's fair.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Yeah, technically one of the wrong ones, but yeah, because
- 39:37Speaker 2: pick I think if it was Pighead Boy in the film,
- 39:40Speaker 2: but what I'm seeing on here is credited as Pighead.
- 39:43Speaker 2: If it was pig Head Boy, I'd allow you to continue,
- 39:45Speaker 2: but it's not the exact It's been forty years.
- 39:47Speaker 6: Man, he grew up pig Head Boy for his whole life.
- 39:53Speaker 6: I mean that's to mean.
- 39:55Speaker 2: True, so true, Okay, So then oh the oh yeah,
- 40:00Speaker 2: of course, because it's so important, we need to know.
- 40:03Speaker 4: It was Kwando and twist Oid.
- 40:05Speaker 2: It was twist Aid, but Evil Seed was the other one,
- 40:08Speaker 2: the one I.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Knew resident Evil for some reason, it does sound resident.
- 40:17Speaker 4: And then there was like l Seed from the tick
- 40:20Speaker 4: was it was it.
- 40:20Speaker 6: Like Evil's kid or Evil Seed?
- 40:24Speaker 4: Evil Evil El? I mean I bet it was a
- 40:27Speaker 4: plant based villain.
- 40:30Speaker 6: Yeah, just good.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Okay, we're ready for the typically kind of related but
- 40:40Speaker 2: kind of unrelated third category in this game. Yes, let's
- 40:44Speaker 2: test how much our players are masters of our universe.
- 40:49Speaker 2: These are going to be names of ex or planets
- 40:51Speaker 2: in our universe. So the names of planets outside of
- 40:54Speaker 2: our solar.
- 40:58Speaker 4: I am not.
- 41:01Speaker 3: It's your chance, soldier did not study this.
- 41:05Speaker 6: It's gonna be like RB one O seven a RB
- 41:09Speaker 6: five to two. See like some of the I've not
- 41:15Speaker 6: quite been that tricksy. Most I've not heard of any
- 41:18Speaker 6: of these, thank you.
- 41:19Speaker 4: Okay, No, everybody's a shut up. Going back to joke,
- 41:21Speaker 4: right there.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Those planets have the meats.
- 41:30Speaker 4: We had to be highlighted.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Good catch, good catch. I'd have heard it in the
- 41:36Speaker 2: edit and me just talking and thought, God, damn it. Okay,
- 41:40Speaker 2: here is your list of exole planets, the royal boobs.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Here they are Gebus, Dimidium, Darwin, Poltergeist, and Jupiter.
- 41:54Speaker 4: To suck.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Wow, let's I feel like they'd name one after a scientist,
- 42:10Speaker 1: like a natural scientist, so.
- 42:12Speaker 4: Darn okay makes sense. I'd buy that.
- 42:16Speaker 1: I don't think if Jeebis is a planet, I'm turning
- 42:21Speaker 1: in my batch. My I'm turning in my badge in
- 42:24Speaker 1: my gun. No longer a woman in stem, you know.
- 42:31Speaker 5: Yeah, Like, have scientists grown up with the Simpsons so
- 42:33Speaker 5: they might actually name one Jeebus?
- 42:36Speaker 1: God they would, they're fucking nerds.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Oh have you got one that you're thinking is the
- 42:44Speaker 3: first pick?
- 42:46Speaker 1: We could go?
- 42:46Speaker 4: Darwin? Let's do it.
- 42:49Speaker 3: With Darwin.
- 42:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm so sorry.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Off, you're not sorry at all?
- 42:59Speaker 2: After six years. Don't start calling out whether I'm sorry
- 43:01Speaker 2: or not. I'm so sorry. Yeah, I thought that exact
- 43:06Speaker 2: same thing. I was like, I can I can just
- 43:08Speaker 2: put the name of a scientist that doesn't have a
- 43:10Speaker 2: planet named after them.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Is Poltergeist one.
- 43:14Speaker 6: Poltergeist is one that was the least likely to me.
- 43:18Speaker 6: I'm really hoping Jupiter too is one. Jupitered to is fake.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Domidium, and then yeah, Jeebus is a what if?
- 43:30Speaker 1: If you just excuse me between rounds, I do have
- 43:32Speaker 1: to go quit my job. That's for completely unrelated reasons.
- 43:38Speaker 4: I quit.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Okay, trap evil, you have a chance to catch up.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Now Here is your list of five exole planets Homolumu, Ganja,
- 43:52Speaker 2: or Bitar, Tectonia and did so.
- 43:58Speaker 4: Wow, I'm gonna be super transparent. I was so excited
- 44:02Speaker 4: for this, bros. I'm like, oh man, I have my
- 44:04Speaker 4: favorite video game franchise, Destiny, use exo planets all the
- 44:07Speaker 4: time for bullshit story things. Not a single one was mentioned.
- 44:13Speaker 4: Then put Homo in there yet, I mean, Homo sounds
- 44:19Speaker 4: of the best. Big given the names we have, let's
- 44:22Speaker 4: just start at the top of the list.
- 44:23Speaker 6: I mean, right, that's a good way to start the list.
- 44:29Speaker 4: Let's go with that one for the go.
- 44:33Speaker 2: I'm so sorry that's mate, It's the capital of Hawaii,
- 44:39Speaker 2: But I changed some lets.
- 44:43Speaker 1: No Homo Lumu.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Bones was.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Ones did real quick, so the real ones believe it
- 44:55Speaker 2: or not, Ganja.
- 44:58Speaker 4: Of course they were probably on gone to the name Jeebus.
- 45:03Speaker 1: The nerds smoke weed, I'll take my gun and badge back.
- 45:09Speaker 3: Or Bitar.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Or Bitar was real, And that's also how I came
- 45:12Speaker 2: up with Tectonia of like they both sound like fake
- 45:15Speaker 2: planet names. Yes, but all Baitar is real. And then
- 45:18Speaker 2: dit so was the other real one? Another Pokemon that
- 45:21Speaker 2: sounds like a Pokemon really does.
- 45:25Speaker 4: After Pokemon and masses of the universe characters.
- 45:28Speaker 2: And feel free. Anyone in the room or any listeners
- 45:33Speaker 2: correct me if I'm wrong. That might be our first
- 45:35Speaker 2: double freeze.
- 45:41Speaker 5: And this episode had so many like like, oh, we've
- 45:43Speaker 5: been doing this forever jokes, but we've got all these
- 45:45Speaker 5: first now too.
- 45:46Speaker 4: This is great. How are we going?
- 45:49Speaker 2: I don't even know if we're gonna even make it
- 45:51Speaker 2: around three? Okay, that is the end of round one.
- 45:55Speaker 2: That let's ask the heroically named Duncan to calculate the
- 45:58Speaker 2: latest scores. I've got to highlight the again. It's just
- 46:00Speaker 2: your dad's mate down the pub. It's just Duncan duncan. Okay,
- 46:06Speaker 2: those scores are the Royal Boobs are on sex I'm
- 46:09Speaker 2: leaving that in, and trap Evil are on four points.
- 46:15Speaker 4: Right, We got some room, got some room to grow up.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Next is round two after these ads, unless you're listening
- 46:20Speaker 2: ad free by following following us for free on Patreon,
- 46:24Speaker 2: and then you probably hate this sentence because it's a
- 46:27Speaker 2: complete waste of time. I slowed down my speed so
- 46:31Speaker 2: it really would be back after this. Round two is
- 46:40Speaker 2: called pubic Cervix announcement. Sorry, public service announcements, Boobs. It's
- 46:48Speaker 2: the game where our team will be given a random
- 46:51Speaker 2: topic to deliver a Masters of the Universe style nineteen
- 46:54Speaker 2: eighties PSA about on my riskiest wheel. Yet, we have
- 46:59Speaker 2: eight things that he Man or Sheira might try to
- 47:02Speaker 2: warn children about, so we have where should I start.
- 47:08Speaker 2: We've got drugs, bullying, depression, violence, democracy, environmentalism, respecting elders,
- 47:16Speaker 2: and the big one, molestation. So Facebook, it's Facebook the wheel,
- 47:26Speaker 2: but I also have here. When I bring up the webpage,
- 47:29Speaker 2: I remember to bring up a random noun generator, so
- 47:33Speaker 2: you won't just be giving a PSA on one of
- 47:35Speaker 2: these topics.
- 47:36Speaker 3: I will also be throwing a noun in there.
- 47:38Speaker 4: As well.
- 47:40Speaker 2: To give you a quite a specific, unconventional PSA. You
- 47:44Speaker 2: will have forty five seconds to give your PSA. I
- 47:47Speaker 2: would like you to be looking directly into the camera
- 47:50Speaker 2: if possible, And at the end, I'll rank your PSA
- 47:54Speaker 2: based on how well you warn the kids at home
- 47:56Speaker 2: about the dangers presented and how well you stick to
- 47:59Speaker 2: the he man tone of voice. This was my favorite
- 48:02Speaker 2: aspect of watching a couple of episodes was the very
- 48:06Speaker 2: nineteen eighties PSA's At the end.
- 48:09Speaker 4: There will be.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Four PSAs in total forty five seconds each. One person
- 48:12Speaker 2: from the team will lead the PSA, but feel free
- 48:15Speaker 2: to call on your teammates if you'd like to have
- 48:17Speaker 2: a bit of back and forth and they will improve
- 48:20Speaker 2: with you if you want to, like turn to them
- 48:21Speaker 2: and say say she rah, like yeah, that kind of thing. John,
- 48:27Speaker 2: you are the most familiar with PSAs.
- 48:30Speaker 4: No, I'm so nervous.
- 48:34Speaker 2: I'm just gonna get forty five seconds on the clock.
- 48:38Speaker 2: I've got to do it second by second because it's
- 48:39Speaker 2: only minute or I.
- 48:40Speaker 4: Wish I could play the music in the background. That would.
- 48:45Speaker 3: If Ben does it in the background.
- 48:47Speaker 4: That's legally distinctive enough we're safe.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Yes, so John your Oh yeah, I forgot the wheels
- 48:55Speaker 2: broke and it will just spin infinitely if I don't stop.
- 48:57Speaker 4: It a pedual motion machine in your office.
- 49:03Speaker 3: It's just gonna keep going.
- 49:04Speaker 4: Yes, it won't start perfect.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Okay, So that is environmentalism. But it's not just gonna
- 49:10Speaker 2: be any kind of environmentalism.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Oh no, pro against.
- 49:16Speaker 3: Well it was the eighties.
- 49:17Speaker 4: That's up to you.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's up to you.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Okay, and okay, this isn't too bad. Actually, your random
- 49:26Speaker 2: noun is sparrow, as in the bird a sparrow, so
- 49:29Speaker 2: you sparrow environmentalism is your PSA. You are pro that
- 49:33Speaker 2: you are warning the kids about that whatever angle you
- 49:36Speaker 2: want to take with the phrase sparrow environmentalism. And you
- 49:41Speaker 2: can interact with Audra if you would like her help throughout,
- 49:43Speaker 2: but otherwise forty five seconds on the clock.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Begin your PSA.
- 49:47Speaker 4: All right. In today's episode, Skeletor and his Gaseous Sparrow,
- 49:52Speaker 4: we're trying to take over Eternia by farting up Castle
- 49:57Speaker 4: grays Skull and making the planet uninhabit. Bit a ball,
- 50:00Speaker 4: It's important to make sure that you were always clearing
- 50:04Speaker 4: the air, so everybody can breathe freely. Shit, that's halfway through.
- 50:15Speaker 5: Make sure you're always riding your bicycles instead of taking cars,
- 50:19Speaker 5: board a bus or even a sky bike if you
- 50:27Speaker 5: need to get from one place to another.
- 50:29Speaker 4: Take care of your planet.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Children, nice excellent stuff that was so accurately in the style.
- 50:37Speaker 4: Wave you to this ad brought to you buy cigarettes
- 50:42Speaker 4: smoking the big Adam kids.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Didn't nail. The voice nailed the tone. Didn't even need
- 50:48Speaker 2: to call on your teammate to help.
- 50:50Speaker 5: I wanted to, but I my nerves were too high.
- 50:55Speaker 4: I didn't know what to say.
- 50:56Speaker 2: Hey, they didn't need to be and you Also, the
- 50:59Speaker 2: gift in the middle was imagining the voice actor being like,
- 51:02Speaker 2: oh shit, I'm only half with and because of that
- 51:07Speaker 2: gift to me and how much that cracked me up,
- 51:09Speaker 2: I'm giving you the full five out of five points.
- 51:11Speaker 4: That's a great way to start this. Feel like that's another.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Oh thank you so much for jumping on the grenade,
- 51:20Speaker 2: John and taking the first. Let's let's go with Ben next,
- 51:24Speaker 2: Let's keep things all everything exploration, Let's spin the wheel
- 51:28Speaker 2: first and foremost, get out of go in. That's the
- 51:35Speaker 2: one next to environmentalism, which is democracy. And let's get
- 51:43Speaker 2: another random set of nouns here.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Do as you see fit, Ben.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Okay, we have facelift democracy.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Whatever that means to you.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Whatever that means to you, whether it's like making sure
- 52:02Speaker 2: everyone has access to a facelift or the opposite of that,
- 52:06Speaker 2: the power.
- 52:08Speaker 6: No I think, I think I've got it. I've got this.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Okay, Ben, Your forty five second PSA on facelift democracy
- 52:16Speaker 2: begins now.
- 52:18Speaker 6: On today's episode, kids, we saw Skeletor hide his face
- 52:23Speaker 6: behind flesh and win the vote. What this teaches us
- 52:27Speaker 6: is the democracy is for fools and cowards. It's all about,
- 52:33Speaker 6: you know, the authoritarian rule, trust in king, in King, Randor,
- 52:39Speaker 6: you can't. You can't be trusted to vote. You're just
- 52:42Speaker 6: silly children, You guys. This guy was not Skeletor. He
- 52:47Speaker 6: still had blue boobs and a skull on his chest.
- 52:50Speaker 6: For Christ's sake, all politicians lie, and kings aren't politicians, remember.
- 53:00Speaker 4: Randor, and I approve of this message.
- 53:04Speaker 2: Excellent stuff, well done, Oh perfect.
- 53:08Speaker 3: You took that in a great direction.
- 53:11Speaker 2: Was can I can I ask if the the you know,
- 53:15Speaker 2: before saying authoritarianism was like, don't say fascist and don't
- 53:18Speaker 2: say fascist. Oh that was fantastic, and Drew with the
- 53:26Speaker 2: little cherry on top, just like a political ad would be.
- 53:29Speaker 2: Uh Ben pointing out the monarchy in it all. I've
- 53:32Speaker 2: got to give an he the five points. That was
- 53:34Speaker 2: exactly in the tone of the episode.
- 53:36Speaker 4: Ps No, it was then as soon as you said
- 53:39Speaker 4: something about the like like you know, doctor doesn't work,
- 53:42Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, Riggs is a monarchy. Fuck, it's so good.
- 53:46Speaker 4: Damn it.
- 53:47Speaker 2: Wow, just your brain like that, John, I will say
- 53:54Speaker 2: you did something very similar three minutes ago. Okay, the
- 53:59Speaker 2: wheel is in for Drew, for Audras. Yeah. P s
- 54:03Speaker 2: A topic, go go back and forth. It's it's bullying.
- 54:10Speaker 2: It's bullying one of the big topics. Yeah, bullying can
- 54:16Speaker 2: come in the farm from the station.
- 54:17Speaker 4: That's that's like extreme.
- 54:19Speaker 5: Bullying, advanced bullying, bullying to a one. At least you
- 54:23Speaker 5: went there. You weren't just like, it's just bullying.
- 54:26Speaker 4: Okay.
- 54:28Speaker 2: Uh it is inbox bullying, inbox bullying, So whatever that
- 54:35Speaker 2: means to you, inbox bullying. And we can pretend that
- 54:39Speaker 2: email was invented by the time of email bullying.
- 54:46Speaker 6: The p s A has had all kinds of anachronisms
- 54:49Speaker 6: in them.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Okay, Ordra, your p s a on inbox bullying begins now.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Hello kids. In this e episode of he MANU skeletor
- 55:04Speaker 1: attacked he Man. This wouldn't have happened if one of
- 55:08Speaker 1: his friends would have sent him forty five email messages
- 55:13Speaker 1: warning him that this would have happened. Now, when you
- 55:16Speaker 1: have to go to your corporate child job, remember you too,
- 55:21Speaker 1: can save the world by sending countless emails to your
- 55:25Speaker 1: fellow coworkers warning them of projects they should know about.
- 55:30Speaker 1: You should engage in in box bullying for the good
- 55:36Speaker 1: of the realm.
- 55:40Speaker 4: Yeah, that that's what I was waiting for.
- 55:44Speaker 2: Thank you, John, sorryat No, You're right. A great button
- 55:50Speaker 2: from John uh and Audra. I feel like I heard
- 55:54Speaker 2: you about an hour ago complaining about a similar work problem.
- 56:02Speaker 2: So topical, fantastic. I really enjoyed that. I loved how
- 56:07Speaker 2: you brought in the on this episode. I think that
- 56:10Speaker 2: was that was key to get that in. I'm going
- 56:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna give you four out of five points for that.
- 56:14Speaker 2: I enjoyed that.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Hell, yes, having not seen any he Man, I will
- 56:19Speaker 1: take I will take the power. Yes, i will take
- 56:24Speaker 1: four points and I'll like it.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Oh, where did my wheel.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Go I took it.
- 56:30Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 56:31Speaker 1: It was still in frame. It was still in frame
- 56:36Speaker 1: when we were about to begin.
- 56:38Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 56:39Speaker 1: You're so welcome.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Okay, Drew, let's find the name of your highly specific
- 56:46Speaker 2: p s A. We're all hoping for malestation, aren't we. Oh,
- 56:51Speaker 2: I think that's gone. That's also environmentalism. Just shift it,
- 56:55Speaker 2: just shift it. We're shifting to males station.
- 56:57Speaker 4: An't well, it was like, fully, I can't read the
- 57:02Speaker 4: thing from here, the screen is too small.
- 57:03Speaker 3: I can believe you, But what kind of molestation?
- 57:07Speaker 4: Oh Jesus, well, I forgot about that.
- 57:12Speaker 2: This is why I'm worried it can be done. Scalp
- 57:15Speaker 2: scalp molestation. You are giving a PSA in whatever manner
- 57:21Speaker 2: you wish, in the style of a he man or
- 57:26Speaker 2: she ra psa on scalp molestation, and that begins.
- 57:31Speaker 4: Now. Wow. In this episode, I wore a skin mask
- 57:36Speaker 4: to steal the election, and he Man tore the scalp
- 57:40Speaker 4: from my head and mocked me. This was an abuse
- 57:43Speaker 4: of my personal space. No one should abuse your personal space. Children,
- 57:47Speaker 4: If the creepy man on the palett leg ground tries
- 57:50Speaker 4: to take things from you or give you candy that
- 57:52Speaker 4: you don't know about. You say no and run away
- 57:56Speaker 4: like skelet hortoise.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Yeah, oh no, he Mad's back.
- 58:03Speaker 4: I hope he doesn't me more.
- 58:07Speaker 6: The real, the real Scalp metal ustation is this haircut.
- 58:12Speaker 6: Oh few, I escaped that one, unscathed. Sparkle, sparkle.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Nice good providing the sound effects at the end as well,
- 58:22Speaker 2: excellent stuff. Great skeletal voice and good good job activating
- 58:29Speaker 2: your teammate there and Ben chippin in as he men,
- 58:33Speaker 2: because I liked at that point Drew during the p
- 58:35Speaker 2: s A. You were just continuing the episode. Oh he
- 58:39Speaker 2: Man's back. I was like, Scalp. I thought Ben was
- 58:44Speaker 2: talking about his own haircut.
- 58:49Speaker 4: I mean it's like it's like one notch below a
- 58:51Speaker 4: he man Bob.
- 58:52Speaker 1: So okay, it is kind with the bang and.
- 58:57Speaker 6: The Hey, it's twenty twenty six. I can have a
- 59:00Speaker 6: mullet if I want, Thank you very much. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 59:03Speaker 6: the tropical mullet. I gotta get it.
- 59:06Speaker 4: Mullet. That is the best.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Oh, fantastic, excellent PSAs everyone, I feel so safe.
- 59:13Speaker 3: That is the end of the round.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Let's ask our priest coach and local representative to calculate
- 59:19Speaker 2: the latest scores. People, he man said, we could trust
- 59:22Speaker 2: if we've been touched inappropriately genuinely, like the three biggest candidates.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Oh god, the only worst one is your creepy uncle.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Hey, kids, to appropriately, go talk to your creepy uncle.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Oh wait, I forgot to give Drew four points. I
- 59:42Speaker 2: said that in my head, like the show.
- 59:49Speaker 4: Maybe I just missed it.
- 59:51Speaker 3: No, just me my edible is it?
- 59:55Speaker 2: The Royal Boobs have fifteen points, trap Evil have thirteen points?
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: Still too.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: Round three next after these ads for action figures featuring
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: all your favorite gate Leapers characters. Opposable arms, repetitive catchphrases,
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: and fixed facial expressions are just some of the things
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: we experience due to newer divergence.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Back soon, my past and on. Smile as you were
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: reading that.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Round three is called bad Dictionary. It's our wrong ANSWER's
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: only definition game. I will name something from the Masters
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: of the Universe universe, and I would like each player
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: to write down a dictionary definition. But it better not
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: be the correct answer. You'll be punished if it's the
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: correct answer. We will then hear those definitions and I'll
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: award points to the ones I like the first thing,
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: I would like a definition for isla beads flash beads?
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: What a flash beads? All right, we got some studious
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: panel members here writing down full definitions.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm just using this receipt from dental work. I
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: was like, what is his paper? Oh yeah, just store
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: that somewhere important, like my writing down fake definitions folder.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I wrote something so simple, and then there's a part
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: of me that almost shifted gears when everybody else was writing.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: But I think I'm going to be true to myself.
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: Yeah. I went for the first dumb thing, and then
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: it weirdly worked out and much more logically would.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Well, let's let's start with ultras. Actually, while we give
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Ben and potentially John some time to finish up.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Flash beads are what you throw out at Marty Gras
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: nice that is that is very literally correct.
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: Yeah I thought he said wrong answers only.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Oh damn.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Fortunately it's only the Masters of the Universe definition that
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: will result in punishment. So okay, that's that's okay. I
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: might not get a point, but it's not going to
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: get punished.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Okay, But it's clever.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Fuck off, I said, I said, mit, and you're telling
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: me to fuck off.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I gotta stand by what I said.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: John, What did you put for this one?
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: Mine's actually pretty pretty similar. It's a string of well,
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: I wasn't sure which direction to go in go in
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: in the beginning, so it's a string of funny smelling pearls.
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: But then I went somewhere else that when thrown on
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: a person, makes their top disappear, but also makes their
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: chest shine a blinding light.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: Ah nice, Okay, I like it.
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: That is a D and d as item. I would
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: give a character.
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: At you think you're gonna see boobs, but then you're blinded.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: Uh huh yeah, huh. Very it's a monkey's paw situation.
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: Mm hmmm.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: They'll start saying it's a flashpeed situation.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, Drew, what have you got for this?
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Mine is a set of beads worn by he man
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: to cover his testes in case the wind blows up
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: his little skirt thing.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: It is a little skirt thing, and it's it's really
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: good that someone's pointed that out.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: And he will be flashing the children when the wind comes.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Yes, otherwise he would be going against his own PSAs.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: I want to tell a coach about him.
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: Flash beads noun origin ancient Ittornian beads typically stored in
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: orifice that shoot lasers.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: That is fantastic, not just because of the proper dictionary structure.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: We've got the we've got the noun, we've got origin.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: It's so good.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: That's fantastic. Okay.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: I am going to give everyone of points, but I'm
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: going to give Ben two points. I liked all of
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: those definitions, but I liked Ben's just that little bit more.
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: That's so fair, fair, valid, very valid. Okay.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: Your next thing I would like you to define is
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: a variable high frequency oscillator. What is a variable high
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: frequency oscillator?
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: What is it?
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: What does it do? Okay, realize we didn't get the
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: actor the finis of the previous word, but also I'm
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: okay with that the ours were better.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Thank you for the reminder, Drew. I will give it
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: in case anyone's interested. Because nobody said used by heroic
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: warriors of Eternia. When thrown, they explode with a bright light.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I assumed that that's what it was. Yeah, I didn't
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: even know, but I assumed they.
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: Were just flash bangs on a bracelet.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: No, one of my definition here is right. Then you
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: will be punished.
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: The punishment involve flash beads, and if so, which ones?
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: Ben's definition?
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: All right, we've got some definitions for variable high frequency oscillator. Okay,
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: let's start with Drew this time.
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: An oscillating frequency that is highly variable. It pops popcorn
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: perfectly every time.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: Okay, little popcorn machine. I love it, John, What have
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: you got for this?
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: I've got the device that is in the jet bikes
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: to make them fly by bouncing sound waves off the
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: ground and propelling them into the sky.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: Okay, okay, we'll find out in just a moment if
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: that's what this actually is.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: Ben, what have you got?
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: I got a tool used to oscillate high frequency variably
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: as a vibrator.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: Shall we note that our thing is the same thing,
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: so when when you're done, it's done.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: Let's see what Ordres got for this one.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: A variable high frequency oscillator is a magic wand wielded
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: by Shira and created by Haitachi. With intensity, I can
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: calm one down after a really hard day.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Fantastic. Oh my goodness. Well, let's let's address something John. Yeah,
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: could you reach your definition again?
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: Please?
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: No about popping pop popcorn?
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: And vibrating genitals. It's not recorded any John, and there's
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: no way we can replay it.
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: It's a It's a that is putting the jet the
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: jet bikes to make them fly by bouncing sound waves
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: off the ground and propelling them into the sky.
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: Okay, and Drew, could you give me yours again?
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: Please? Are you fucking kidding me?
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: It does that and pops.
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: An oscillating frequency that is highly variable, pops popword perfectly
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: every time.
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: And then can I get yours one more time?
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: Please?
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: Off the hooks.
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: Oscillate high frequency signals variably, also known as a vibrator.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: And did you say signals in yours? I did say signals, signals,
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: not sounds. I said signals.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I'm just gonna say I'm gonna say no
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: points for John, but I'm not going to punish John
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: because it's not an exact definition. But it is to
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: do with sounds device which emits a high frequency annoying
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: to most animal life life forms, So not to do
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: with the bikes, but is sound based.
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: I mean, have you heard a biker roll through your neighborhood?
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: That's pretty fucking annoying.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: That's true, that's true, but I want any points, I'll
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: just say no point for John I liked, I liked
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: Drew's and Benz for one point. I like Toldres for
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: two points.
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: Heck, yeah, we were both on the same page.
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: But better words.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Get specific brand names. Hatachi, you can't sponsor.
- 1:08:21Speaker 6: Me, Get those sponsorships in here. Yeah, come on an episode.
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: I don't know who want to be.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: I guess what round three is. So we're gonna have
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: another another phrase. Okay, we're gonna go into the biological
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: world this time. What are lush melons? What are lush melons?
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say royal boobs?
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: Oh? Come on. We all looked at each other, so
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: the same thing.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Saying it now, so that we all have to be.
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: Better wrung answs only.
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: Damn.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: It's like some of you are writing the dictionary.
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: If you saw my handwriting, you'd almost fail me in
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: science too. That was a rough year high school.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: I think scientists broadly have terrible handwriting.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Can confirm.
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: I've had to write a note in front of my
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: doctor and she looked at me, going like, wow, they
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: make fun of me.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: It's like ouch, I'm looking forward to these definitions. Okay, Well,
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: I like how proudly Ben just sat up? So let's
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: start with what is your definition of lush melons?
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: All right?
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: So I got lush melons verb the act of in
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: biting sufficient alcohol to believe it's a good idea to
- 1:09:45Speaker 6: motor boat that fox at the other end of the bar,
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: bro I got so lush melons last night.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: And with the example of the use, I love it. Okay,
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: let's say, John, what have you got for this?
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: I've got lush melons. A creature that looks like a
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: pink watermelon and stays immobile until you bite it, whereupon
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: it let's add a slow, sensual moon.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: Oh I love that, and the definition, Oh, tra, what
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: have you got for this one?

- 1:11:00Speaker 4: Just a little bit of a I feel like it's
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: I feel like it's a bad imitation of the dude
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: from snl UK. Who does the imitation of your ex
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: prime minister?
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: Oh sure, yeah, yeah, yeah the yeah.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: And also very topical him.
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: The David Attenborough of Eternia.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Yes he also played David Attenborough.
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: Oh he did to make he's got a thing.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: I really liked all of those. Those were all really
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: strong definitions. I would put them all in the dictionary.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: I'm definitely given everyone a point, but I think, just
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: like the first one, I'm going to give an extra
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: point to Ben because I've really enjoyed it used to
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: in practice.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Uh huh having that, I didn't even consider the use
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: like including a use case.
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: One more thing to define.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: Here?
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: It is geneticator? What is a janette akita? Ben's got
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: his already.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: I litered my last word. I just gave him but
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: a line. I was like, yeah, it's enough, I know
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: what it is. One word.
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: I'll figure that out when I get there.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: This one, I went with my second thought.
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: That's what they say.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I didn't go first.
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: I went one word at a time. Legitimately, I was like,
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: where am I going with it? Okay, fine, we worked,
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: we did.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: At work, got there? Oh boy, we got there.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: Have we all got a definition for geneticata?
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: Yep?
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: Okay, John, let's hear your geneticata first.
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: No, right, no, let's do it.
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: Geneticator it's a device used in the attorneyan Olympics to
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: find out if you're a biological he man or she ra.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: It is the eighties, damn it.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: I mean it's a good not definition. I mean it's
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: my team. It's a good not definition.
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: You have to understand. It doesn't change how you compete.
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: It just a matter of how much clothing you're allowed
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: to wear.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Then I'm down for it.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: The he man west st Yeah, and.
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: Then like two pieces of leather as a top.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: Yeah, very good, John, let's hear.
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: Let's see Aldros next. Let's go team by team.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: The geneticator is a machine specifically designed to alter your
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: hair growth patterns to only grow into a cunty little
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: bob callack is.
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: Wait, isn't that a callback? That's a callback? Fuck callback?
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: Very good, Drew with that excellent line. Let's hear your
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: definition of a geneticata.
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: Geneticator skeletor is Evil or twin who has only DNA
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: for a face. I love it.
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: And Ben, you're very quick answer.
- 1:14:01Speaker 6: The geneticator my dick.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: Hey, god damn it. Sometimes it really is just two.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: Words, simple to the point.
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: I okay, how am I doing points for this one?
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: I'm just gonna give I'm just gonna give three points
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: to each team. You can decide how it's how it's
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: divided between each of the players.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: We can fight later.
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: Oh fantastic.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: Let's close the dictionary and send it off to publication.
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: It's done. That is the end of round three.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: Let's ask Orco to calculate the latest scores. He's just
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: the comic relief. He's got time on his hands. He's
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: weird blue hands. The Royal Boobs are on twenty four points.
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: Trap Drew and Evil Ben are also on twenty four plays.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Oh my god, this is crucial.
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: It is a crucial around that was crucial that can
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: fix this.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: I don't need to read the next bit, but before
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: we get to the quick fire round, I do have
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: to read this, because of course, the prizes are very
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: real and we need to talk about them.
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: This episode's star prize is.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: The concept of hidden power, something we all have, although
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: for some of us it's really hidden. But our winning
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: team will also receive a three month membership to Planet Fitness,
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: so we can all get jacked like Adam. Adam enjoys
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: getting jacked.
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: Up.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Next is already said that, but first we must play
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: one final set of ads. Ads for high sugar Cereal
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: high sugar candy and how to manage your diabetes.
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: A Wilford Brimley collback.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: God, is that a callback?
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: Not the eighties?
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: But I want that shirt.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: Our final quick fire around will test your broader pop
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: culture knowledge and my own ability to publicly humiliate myself.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: And it's called I don't know nothing about no skeletons.
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: In this game, I will sing our player's clues to
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: a skeleton from pop culture history. Those clues will be
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: in the style of four non blondes polarizing hit what's up?
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: You know from the meme some skeletor right, don't put
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: hats on my.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Hats, don't put hats on my hands.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: Although I will say, actually, if you want to reply
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: as skeleton instead of singing, that's perfectly acceptable. You don't
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: have to sing back. If you do not want to,
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: you can just reply as skeleton. That'd be super fun.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: It's quick fire. You buzz in by yelling out your
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: team names. Let's practice that now.
- 1:17:12Speaker 8: Ooo, Evil, Evil, Please my brain works, John, I can't
- 1:17:20Speaker 8: help them.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: And so for example, if I said, I said he's
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: the King of Hallo we.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: Yes, I heard boobs first.
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: Um, I said, hey, it's Jack Scalington.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: Exactly like that, and it would be a point. The
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: syllables don't line up as well as for that one,
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: so just either drag them out or add some extra
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: words in vibe vibe it. You can interrupt me at
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: any point. And please, for the love of God, do
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: are we ready?
- 1:17:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: The skeletons, I know.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: Nice I said he rides a bored and enchanted bike,
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: and john nye Blaze I heard Ben and Evil, Hey,
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: it's ghost Rider, lovely stuff. It is indeed ghost Rider,
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: point foot trap Evil. There, I said, he's a pirate
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: transformed by the light of the move. Oh, that would
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: probably be at the exact same time, best on the leg.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: So I'm going to ask John and Ben who they thought, No,
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: because they're obviously going to say that team mate.
- 1:18:36Speaker 6: No, I heard it at the exact same time here, Yes.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: Okay, can you sing it in tandem, and I will
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: give each team a point. So I will lead you
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: in on the black pearl with some cursed balloons. I said, hey,
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: it's Jack. I'll tell you I'll take both because technically
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: they are both. It is a point each I do
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: have both items is written down here.
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: Nice, amazing. I'm so proud of us, I said.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: A last, poor guy, I knew you were like klings.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: I think that was order first that time.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: I said, hey, it's your Rick.
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: It is indeed your from Hamler's stuff.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I don't just the point.
- 1:19:29Speaker 6: I don't think that Hamlet carries because I did not
- 1:19:31Speaker 6: know that.
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: A last poor Yorick. I know that show show, you
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: know that's stage production that guy did one time.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I said, Hamlet, what's gonna happen? I hope there's
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: more gratuitous sex and violence in this one. I said,
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: they speak into different funds brothers.
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: Yes, Drew, I said, hey, oh god, saying no, it's.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: It's Sands, and that's I'll take either one of them.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: Thank you. Yes, sorry, I was having a moment. I'm
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: just here, what fonded. It's like a panic attack.
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: Good stuff, Sands, nicely done. Yeah, Sands or Papyrus would
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: have accepted either. You got Sands. You also got Papyrus
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: with the help of Ben. That's a point.
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: I just don't even know what the paper thing. Thank
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: you so much. That was a great help. I was like,
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: what is he leaving? Means it written down there somewhere
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: brain did not?
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: I said, he wrote the song remember Me? But his
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: great great grandson saved his Yes.
- 1:20:45Speaker 4: John, I said, hey, it's co Co.
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: No that that's the property, but not the character.
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: Oh God, damn it. Agel.
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: Yes, Ben, I said, hey, it's Coke Co's grandpa.
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: If you'd have said the correct familial relation, I would
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: have given it to you.
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: I said, hey, I'm pretty sure his name is Miguel.
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: No, that's a different character in it. But it's not
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: and but actually no, because he didn't write the song
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: remember Me where he sings last gens Grandma.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: It's Coco's great grandpa.
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: No, No, it's the character is Hector? And is Coco's dad?
- 1:21:32Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: Yes, Hector.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: Yes, Coco's the grandma. She's trying to remember her father.
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: Miguel's the kid.
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: Miguel's the kids saw that kid.
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: Kids who sang it? Not the guy who wrote it?
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: I realized I got the wrong. Yeah, I wouldn't be hector.
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: Name this eight most galluses?
- 1:21:52Speaker 4: Okay, wow, are there?
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: I know there's like six. I said, he's known to
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: most is the Kooper King. But yes, Dream, I said, hey,
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: it's dry Bowser. It is indeed Dry Bowser, good stuff.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: I said, he's the ninth member of the straw Hat Crew.
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: He's got an afro, and he plays some real cool tunes.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: I said, hey, Evil, Yes, I think his name Sonny.
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: It's not sunny fucking killing. I know, I know who
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: do No one knows this one the.
- 1:22:31Speaker 4: Properties, I know the property. I'm so tangentially connected to
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: the one Piece fandom. I know I know the character.
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: It is need one piece, and it is Brook or
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: soul King is the nickname of the skeleton. Skeleton with
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: an afro. All right, let's even get this. Yes, I
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: think you will.
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: They're getting easier they get Yeah.
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: I said, they come at night and they fire a
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: but oh, you better build a diamonds saw to make
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: them go.
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: I say, hey, Bobs, Oh, that was okay, let's go
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: with Ben. Then I said, hey, it's Withers. No, not
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: with us, not with.
- 1:23:17Speaker 4: Us, Evil I think I stabbed it. I think I'm wrong,
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: but yesr hey, I said, hey, it's the oatsworn King
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: and his army from Lord of the Rings, whose names
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: I can't remember the actual name of the army.
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: No, he's a good scal These are two scoutons I
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: should have put on the.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: List they explode.
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: Boobs.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: I did not.
- 1:23:39Speaker 5: John, I said, hey, is it a creeper right property?
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: But let's that's what withers are from Boobs.
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: Well, sorry, my wrong answer wasn't as wad as yours.
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: I was confused because because he made it sound like
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: that wasn't the right one.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: Said, hey, it's the other one from Minecraft.
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: Let me let me because I thought you in case
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: to Save. Yeah, that's what I thought you meant. I
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: thought you from all.
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: The old cloud boys. I think they're just called skeletons.
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: But well, Ultra's got the closest answer because it's by
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: saying that other one from Minecraft, because the answer is
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: just Minecraft skeleton.
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: Point, because they because they have a name that isn't
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: just fucking skeleton.
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: Yeah, no, just skeleton all right? This this four more gang.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm.
- 1:24:43Speaker 5: I thought maybe they were green skeletons. I'm ship about Minecraft.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: I said, he's voiced by a racist stand up pack
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: who has his hand all the way up his back
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: and said, hey, yesterday.
- 1:24:58Speaker 4: I said, hey, it's act Bar the Terrorist Puppet.
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: You're so close and it's so funny that it just
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: sounds equally racist by being wrong.
- 1:25:08Speaker 4: I knew it was a very racist name.
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: It was though evil, Yes, Ben, I said, hey, it's
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: act Bar the Terrorist Puppet.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: I think that might be what Drew said.
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: I meant to say, never mind, Yes, I have another word,
- 1:25:25Speaker 6: but it.
- 1:25:26Speaker 4: Wasn't that one.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: So I'll see.
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: It's good that this has faded into pop culture obscurity.
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: Yeah at the dead terrorist. Yeah, I also needed.
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: What I meant to say was Ahmed, Still.
- 1:25:44Speaker 4: I'll be honest. When you said that, I was like,
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: that's what I meant to say, Thank you, this is
- 1:25:52Speaker 4: very great.
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: I said, he's a knight and he's got no Joe
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: his p S one adventures. We do a door. I said, hey,
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: it's evil, Yes, Drew.
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: I said, hey, is the main character from Medievil whose
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: name I forget, but it's a skeleton with no John
- 1:26:12Speaker 4: want I.
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: At this point, I'm gonna give you it because you've
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: named the franchise enough at this point nice in the comic.
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: Yeah, I remembered medieval and I was like, well, I
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: have no idea.
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: Halfway through, I was like, oh, if it's sucking, Grim
- 1:26:24Speaker 4: Fandango would be so mad.
- 1:26:26Speaker 6: He's got a jaw, it's just all drawn on.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: I said, he wears a hood and carries a size heel.
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: I actually I heard boobs first.
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: Yeah, I said, hey, it's the grim Reaper.
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: Reaper good stuff could have been Grim Fandango.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: I'd have taken it and quick before the buzzer. I said,
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: he's got blue skin and a purple sword, a huge dope.
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: Yes, John, Oh, I know it's too obvious. I said, hey,
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: it's skeletor.
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: It is too obvious, but it is right.
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: I was like waiting for another bars, can you something
- 1:27:08Speaker 4: to go conto? That isn't the obvious one. There's only
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: so many skeletons. And that's the buzzer.
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: That the.
- 1:27:19Speaker 4: Not quickest quick fire man, I've ever.
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: Got to be the slowest one.
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: I feel like every time I'm on one of those,
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: I ruined so long.
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: No, it's funny. I genuinely think that was longer than
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: round two. Worth it there's the man himself skeletal coming
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: into frame.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: Yeah it skeletor what a guy in that slapping motion.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: I mean, I might so because we've we've not had
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: a cacophony of skeletal voices, So I might ask everyone
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: to do their promos in a skeletal voice, because yeah,
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: before we get our final scores, I want to think
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: I'll play this. You've all been hilarious and you all
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: have the power, Ben John, I know I ask every time,
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: and there absolutely doesn't have to be an update on
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: space adities for even though we're all if I can
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: use a phrase, absolutely gagging for it.
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: One of them, one of them. I didn't know people
- 1:28:15Speaker 5: were gagging for it. I mean, geez, that that changes things.
- 1:28:19Speaker 4: If it gets the next issue faster, I'll gag for it.
- 1:28:22Speaker 9: We have the script I'll finally complete all the way through,
- 1:28:26Speaker 9: and I've been drawing it and I'm I don't know,
- 1:28:29Speaker 9: we'll just say halfway through right now, but it's taking
- 1:28:32Speaker 9: a while, So getting off my back, you royal boobs.
- 1:28:38Speaker 3: That is a fantastic update.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: Amazing, that's a that's a great update, and WHA can
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: folks pick up the first three issues of space oddities
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: to catch up before issue four?
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: Are you lascivious?
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: Listeners can pick this up on Drive through Connics or
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: else Saturday.
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: Yes, some help from Skeleton's evil a twin.
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: Him dedicated, I have a mustachio.
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: Oh fantastic, And Drew, you are a brilliant voice actor,
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: voice artist. You can do so many things with your
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: voice and no one.
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: Will believe it. After this promo you can head to
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: Drew Schulman Dozier to hear more of my work that
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: isn't Skeleton. I'll get you laj A he Man.
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: Fantastic just before I move on, anyone got anything else
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: they want to plug or shout out?
- 1:29:44Speaker 5: You know we we you know we were super sporadic
- 1:29:48Speaker 5: with a geek exploration the podcast. But we did just
- 1:29:51Speaker 5: record an episode on Masters of the Universe the movie.
- 1:29:56Speaker 5: So if you want some spoilers and some thoughts, then
- 1:29:59Speaker 5: you can run over and catch that. So oh and
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: since our last appearance, our episode number one hundred titled
- 1:30:06Speaker 5: Endings has come out. But clearly you know now it
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: was not the ending.
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: Oh good. I was worried for a second, literally, whoa
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: or was it?
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: I haven't edited the Masters you.
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: Everything? It was.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: Don't all right, let's get to those final scores, and
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: it was a close one. The Royal Boobs finish on
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: twenty nine points, and it was so close that Trap
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: Drew and Evil Ben also finish on twenty nine points.
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: It's a dead heat.
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: We're all the masters of the universe.
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: Bos prevail, you know, I'll take it.
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: I feel like I've lost most of my appearances in
- 1:30:55Speaker 5: the last like year, so hell yeah, yeah.
- 1:30:59Speaker 4: I don't wan lose extreme twol to the time.
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: Yeah, everyone wins.
- 1:31:03Speaker 6: We all lost this one together.
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: Like in this episode, you saw four players come together,
- 1:31:11Speaker 5: all be winners and all be losers, but they all
- 1:31:14Speaker 5: had fun playing the game. Remember, kids, it's not whether
- 1:31:17Speaker 5: you win or lose, it's how much fun you have.
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: And if you're having too much fun, tell your creepy uncle.
- 1:31:25Speaker 5: And this has been pantemonium. Thank you so much for listening.
- 1:31:28Speaker 5: Subscribe to this feed for more geeky game shows.
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: We've got game shows about pro wrestling, the nez, and
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: other things made popular in the nineteen eighties. Please leave
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: us a five star review if you had a good time,
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: and ignore this sentence if you didn't. Please share this
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: episode with a he man fan he Man Stan or
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: just some guy named Stan, and I leave you with
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: this highly erotic quote from Skeleton, I ache to smash
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: you out of existence. What a heated rivalry. What a
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: great way for John and Drew to end that. I
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: love the PSAs so much. They were my favorite part.
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: I'm so glad we got to play a game built
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: around them.
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: Ah.
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: That was such a joy.
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: I am treasuring these all cast studio episodes so much.
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: Don't get me wrong, I love the live episodes, and
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: I'm so excited that in two weeks time we will
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: be sharing our fan Expo episode. But there's just something
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: so classic, so nostalgic about these studio records. We can
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: get a lot sillier with them, as you just heard.
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: Because I like those PSAs so much. I think I'm
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: going to thank our wonderful games Master patrons in the
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: style of the he Man PSAs, So here it goes.
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: Thank you so much everyone. On today's episode, Ash and
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: Adam were caught trying to break in to Castle Grayskull,
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: but they were stopped by Justin Dodberg, who was guarding
- 1:33:10Speaker 2: the door. Derek and Taylor tried to distract the guards
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: by flashing them with flash beats, but Aaron Randolph was
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: there to make sure everyone was wearing shades. Kids, if
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: you get flashed by flash beats, you can talk to
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: Kristin Farley or Troy Davidson, two people who had trusted
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: members of the community. You can also team up with
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: other allies such as Johnny Wilson and Corbin Stein. They
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: are such a safe pair of hands, unlike your priest
- 1:33:42Speaker 2: or local representative. And remember, kids, as long as you
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: have an Ivan Grossman by your side, you're gonna be
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: able to get through the day. This is why you
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: should always listen to Matt Smith and Shirly Stout in
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: order to have a safe and secure castle. Grayskull, thanks
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: for what and remember stay good. Thank you so much
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: to our wonderful games Master patrons. You are our executive
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: producers and without you this show could not happen. I
- 1:34:13Speaker 2: mean it's me so if we didn't have a budget,
- 1:34:15Speaker 2: we'd still be doing it quietly to no one, but
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: with your support we can share it with folks. Thank
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: you so much for listening and sticking to the end.
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: If you're based in Colorado Springs, come and see us
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: live on July tenth. There's a wonderful lineup for that
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: great outdoors episode. I'm so excited. If you're not based

- 1:34:39Speaker 2: We will be back in two weeks with our special
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: Lord of the Rings cast themed episode recorded live at
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: Denver Fan Expo twenty twenty six. And oh boy, do
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: we have a run of excellent themes coming your way
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: over the course of this summer. I am so excited
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: for some of these episodes. I'm I'm not going to
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: reveal what they are just yet, but you're gonna want
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: to stay subscribed to this feed. We have so much
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: in store for you. Thank you so much for listening. Goodbye,
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: Lee Prugs.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: This has been a lily Pad production.
