- 0:01Speaker 1: The Blaze in Confused.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Podcast is rated M for marijuana no miners, but your
- 0:05Speaker 2: audience is only look at this our first episode without
- 0:10Speaker 2: a guest or anything. Yeah, we're just hanging out. It's
- 0:12Speaker 2: because it's a snow day.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Yeah, and your dog, you know, just a few minutes ago,
- 0:15Speaker 3: was not very pleased. You had to leave the apartment
- 0:18Speaker 3: to go do what ouh? Yeah, I had to take
- 0:20Speaker 3: my neighbor's dog out because he's nice of you, by
- 0:22Speaker 3: the way, how nice. Yeah, I should start a doggy daycare.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I should.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Yeah. My neighbor is out snowboarding.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yeah, he went out snowboarding yesterday too, and I offered
- 0:30Speaker 2: to take his dog out. Dude, this thing is giant.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Your dog a huge dog.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:34Speaker 2: You know what creeps me out dog harnesses cause I
- 0:37Speaker 2: can never get them to work right. They're never hooked
- 0:39Speaker 2: up right, Like you gotta hook this in here, jerk
- 0:42Speaker 2: this off here, hook this in here. It just it
- 0:45Speaker 2: never works out right, and especially when you got to
- 0:48Speaker 2: go put a harness on somebody else's dog, Like, listen,
- 0:50Speaker 2: with my luck, I'm gonna put the harness on your dog,
- 0:52Speaker 2: go to take it out. Being the nice neighbor that
- 0:54Speaker 2: I am and then he's gonna run off. I yeah, yeah,
- 0:57Speaker 2: that was all right, thankfully. This dog is his name's
- 0:59Speaker 2: Clark or Yeah. It's a great name for a dog.
- 1:02Speaker 2: And I don't think you like it, but it's all right.
- 1:04Speaker 2: You don't like human names, no, I mean, Lucy's my
- 1:07Speaker 2: dog and that's a hero. And what did Lucy do
- 1:08Speaker 2: when I was gone?
- 1:09Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:10Speaker 3: She was glaring at me, like you got up. She
- 1:13Speaker 3: watched you because she always does to make sure you're good,
- 1:16Speaker 3: but like you, she was watching you leave. And then
- 1:18Speaker 3: the moment that door closed, she just like slow turned
- 1:22Speaker 3: and looked at me like in the movies, like I
- 1:25Speaker 3: was like just you.
- 1:26Speaker 1: And me, huh.
- 1:28Speaker 3: And she didn't say anything. She didn't say anything. I
- 1:31Speaker 3: was talking to her, but she wasn't saying anything back. Okay,
- 1:33Speaker 3: I guess that's good. I think that's progress. It is progress, yeah,
- 1:36Speaker 3: because usually she just wants to, you know, kill oh me.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Now you make it sound like my dog is Kujo.
- 1:42Speaker 3: She's Kujo. She's just a little misunderstood and she's unsure
- 1:47Speaker 3: of people.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I'm also unsure of people. You never know now how
- 1:50Speaker 2: they think about certain things nowadays. So yeah, Ice has
- 1:55Speaker 2: been a problem late late. Well, the weather I'm talking about. Yeah,
- 1:59Speaker 2: we have had some ice issues. Yeah, issues with ice.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Yeah that's true.
- 2:04Speaker 1: But anyway, what else is going on?
- 2:06Speaker 2: Oh, we have to be mindful of the stench because
- 2:10Speaker 2: of my annoying neighbors.
- 2:11Speaker 1: It's time to move. I've bitched about my neighbors a
- 2:13Speaker 1: few times now.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I don't know if we've hit on this, but they
- 2:15Speaker 2: asked me to turn down my music at nine thirty
- 2:18Speaker 2: pm on a Thursday about a week. You hate that
- 2:20Speaker 2: kind of thing, I do hate. Well, here's the thing.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I have another half hour. Okay, ten o'clock is when
- 2:25Speaker 2: it's supposed to be quiet. You want to text me
- 2:26Speaker 2: at ten o'clock to turn it down, fine, then I
- 2:28Speaker 2: will nine thirty. No, come on, nokay. I don't pay
- 2:32Speaker 2: a lot of money to sit here and live in silence.
- 2:34Speaker 2: That's fine, and you're absolutely right. I think that nine
- 2:37Speaker 2: thirty is a little early to be toning it down. However,
- 2:41Speaker 2: with that being said, I can say that I was
- 2:43Speaker 2: in I've been in here. When you DJ you crank
- 2:46Speaker 2: up the volume pretty well. You know it's pretty loud,
- 2:49Speaker 2: but it's never loud enough for you. No, you like
- 2:52Speaker 2: it loud loud. I like it loud. So yeah, they're
- 2:55Speaker 2: all there.
- 2:55Speaker 1: My last nerve over there.
- 2:56Speaker 2: They're all not to talk smack on my neighbor, but
- 3:00Speaker 2: they're just a little what's her name, We're not going there. No,
- 3:04Speaker 2: it's a couple. There's a little different. You know.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I live in the middle.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I have one neighbor on one side, they're great, and
- 3:10Speaker 2: then the neighbor on the other side they're okay. I've
- 3:12Speaker 2: never been over like, I've never really talked with them
- 3:14Speaker 2: or I had like a lot of these people. Uh,
- 3:16Speaker 2: probably like in their thirties, okay, cordial otherwise, like they
- 3:20Speaker 2: talk to you. And I'll tell you what was weird.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I was having my apartment cleaned a couple months ago
- 3:25Speaker 2: and I wasn't home.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I was at work.
- 3:27Speaker 2: So the maintenance guy at this apartment building had to
- 3:29Speaker 2: like let in the cleaning lady, and apparently on her
- 3:31Speaker 2: way up she had so much stuff to bring up
- 3:33Speaker 2: that she left cleaning supplies in the hallway. Yeah, he
- 3:36Speaker 2: saw this and assumed that I was moving right and
- 3:38Speaker 2: text me and he goes, hey, man, are you moving
- 3:41Speaker 2: literally And I wrote back and I'm like, uh, I
- 3:44Speaker 2: hope not. Why And then he goes, oh, I just
- 3:47Speaker 2: saw a bunch of cleaning supplies outside your apartment.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, I'm getting my apartment clean. Man, I'm
- 3:52Speaker 1: not moving.
- 3:52Speaker 3: But it was just funny the way he texted, like
- 3:54Speaker 3: he was like he saw people taking furniture out of
- 3:58Speaker 3: your place or something like that. That's a little alarming too.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Hey are you moving? Yeah, and it's sort of excited.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I'm sure.
- 4:05Speaker 2: But no. The latest thing with these neighbors, uh, the
- 4:08Speaker 2: maintenance guy tells me a week ago. He goes, hey, man,
- 4:12Speaker 2: none of us care or anything, but I just wanted
- 4:14Speaker 2: to give you a head to your neighbors bitch to
- 4:16Speaker 2: us that it smells like cigarettes. And I'm like, cigarettes,
- 4:20Speaker 2: all right, listen, I said, I mean, I am smoking
- 4:24Speaker 2: some green goodies, but I ain't smoking no Marlboro lights.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and he goes, oh, no, I know. I know
- 4:31Speaker 1: the whole floor is smoking pott up here.
- 4:32Speaker 2: We know that we don't care about that, and he
- 4:34Speaker 2: goes he goes between you and me, they bitch about
- 4:37Speaker 2: everything anyway. I'm like, okay, great, so that's the latest
- 4:39Speaker 2: thing that they're telling maintenance now that I'm smoking SIGs cigarette.
- 4:45Speaker 1: No.
- 4:45Speaker 2: No, I went through that phase it's no, no, And
- 4:48Speaker 2: I will admit, I will admit I've been to apartment
- 4:50Speaker 2: buildings before where people light up and smoke SIGs in
- 4:53Speaker 2: their apartment and then it smells like a bowling alley
- 4:55Speaker 2: and it's.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Not it's a little gross.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and you leave code in that, it's pretty disgusting.
- 5:01Speaker 3: As a former smoker smoker, now, I can tell you
- 5:04Speaker 3: I fucking hate being around it.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I really do. I hate it any.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Oddly enough, I feel like the smell of marijuana does
- 5:09Speaker 2: not stick to things like cigarette smoke does, right.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Or is it just because it dissipates after a good, like,
- 5:16Speaker 3: you know, hour and a half, you know, is that
- 5:18Speaker 3: the truth?
- 5:19Speaker 2: Or is that just because our noses are so used
- 5:21Speaker 2: to it. That's a good question, because I've had a
- 5:24Speaker 2: few times people come over here and be like, dude,
- 5:26Speaker 2: it breaks in here, and I'm like, really, I don't
- 5:28Speaker 2: smell anything like full on like nothing.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. Sometimes I can't smell if you know,
- 5:34Speaker 3: if it's on me, I can't smell it. I can't
- 5:35Speaker 3: take notice. Well, so apparently when it was a cigarette smoker,
- 5:38Speaker 3: I couldn't.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Apparently my neighbors complained about the cigarette smoke last Sunday
- 5:41Speaker 2: after we recorded. Yeah, and I do remember coming back
- 5:44Speaker 2: up and thinking, ooh, it's a little little stanky.
- 5:48Speaker 1: But again not we ever did it, not that, but
- 5:52Speaker 1: but it wasn't camel crushes.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I don't know what they're Yeah, what are these people
- 5:56Speaker 2: smoking that they think they're smelling the smoke?
- 5:59Speaker 3: Maybe they were just like real squares, you know, like
- 6:01Speaker 3: they don't they're not cool enough. They've never smoked a cigarette,
- 6:04Speaker 3: they never had pot. Maybe they think that pot is cigarettes.
- 6:06Speaker 3: They don't know. There are people that are just you know,
- 6:10Speaker 3: maybe they're not Maybe they're not cool enough. Maybe they've
- 6:13Speaker 3: never smoked pot. Yeah, because you're not cool until you
- 6:16Speaker 3: smoke pot. Hey, all I know is that I was
- 6:19Speaker 3: pretty cool before I smoked, and then I got even
- 6:22Speaker 3: cooler after it.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Spottish too.
- 6:24Speaker 4: They'll Blazed and Confused Podcasts with Becker and Joel the
- 6:29Speaker 4: trivia podcast where Truth, Fury and THC glide. Let's spark
- 6:35Speaker 4: your curiosity and light up some knowledge. They'll Blazed and
- 6:40Speaker 4: Confused Podcasts with Becker and Joel starts.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Out, Now, man, we got through the intro there and
- 6:47Speaker 3: you didn't fuck it up. You've been pressing the wrong
- 6:50Speaker 3: buttons every week, it seems.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you know you've done three times since we press record?
- 6:55Speaker 1: What's that said? The word? Fuck? Did I really? Yeah?
- 6:59Speaker 3: I'm counting now, man. Yeah, that's going to be great
- 7:01Speaker 3: to monitor the whole show.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I have to pause and think about it and then
- 7:07Speaker 3: forget about it three minutes later.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Your mom ever give you soap in the mouth? No?
- 7:11Speaker 1: You ever get that? No? You need it? Do I?
- 7:14Speaker 3: Yeah, that'll be a thing we can do on a show.
- 7:17Speaker 3: We'll do a soap in the mouth.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Have you had that? I did get it one, really, yeah.
- 7:21Speaker 1: But it wasn't the bar of soap though.
- 7:23Speaker 2: My mom just put dish soap and iced tea. Boy,
- 7:27Speaker 2: that sounds like child abuse. I promise it wasn't. I
- 7:31Speaker 2: promise you. I definitely deserved it, because you know me, shockingly,
- 7:34Speaker 2: I said something stupid, probably and got in trouble years ago.
- 7:38Speaker 2: And yeah, I got the soap into iced tea.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Did it work? Did it clean your mouth? I just remember.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I don't remember what I did, but I remember I
- 7:45Speaker 2: got in trouble at school for something, and it was
- 7:47Speaker 2: most likely for saying something dumb, if I had to guess,
- 7:50Speaker 2: And I remember going home sitting at dinner that night,
- 7:52Speaker 2: and I remember drinking this iced tea. First off, I
- 7:54Speaker 2: remember sitting down and looking at the iced tea and thinking,
- 7:56Speaker 2: look right something, And then I remember drinking it and
- 8:01Speaker 2: saying they just don't taste right, like just and I
- 8:04Speaker 2: remember my mother saying, drink it.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Geez, yeah, Melanie, I think I drink the whole thing.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I'm gonna get an angry text message that we discussed
- 8:14Speaker 2: this in the bud.
- 8:15Speaker 3: My mom has never made me drink dish soap or
- 8:18Speaker 3: any soap. So man, now I'm thinking like body wash.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Imagine how horrible that would take. No, it was probably
- 8:24Speaker 3: like don dish soap.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah, were you a pretty bad kid? I mean I
- 8:28Speaker 2: leveled off. But when that is, you know, that's harshly
- 8:33Speaker 2: putting it, all right, But I was there.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Was the thing that you did that pissed your parents off,
- 8:38Speaker 3: you know the most.
- 8:39Speaker 1: It was always just.
- 8:40Speaker 2: For saying stupid shit and talking when I shouldn't have,
- 8:42Speaker 2: and saying the wrong things for the wrong people.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Yeah, when did this level off? I really need to know?
- 8:50Speaker 1: All right, isn't it great?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Though? They could never get me to shut up, and
- 8:55Speaker 2: now I get paid to talk and they did. Certain
- 8:58Speaker 2: things tend to work out, don't it pretty well? I
- 9:00Speaker 2: think I'm Becker, that's true. Hello, it's the Blas Confused podcast.
- 9:03Speaker 2: We made it to what episode number is this number?
- 9:06Speaker 2: Thirty six thirty six episodes, so we got thirty five guests.
- 9:10Speaker 1: That's a pretty good.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Some of them will will repeat, but still three or
- 9:14Speaker 3: three or four were repeats.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Pretty good otherwise.
- 9:17Speaker 2: So we're area code three six zero three six zero
- 9:22Speaker 2: zero zero, Area code zero.
- 9:24Speaker 1: We make up boards here. Yeah, zereo, cheerios Yo.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Area code three six zero serves the western part of
- 9:31Speaker 2: Washington State, very nice, excluding the dense Seattle Tacoma metro core,
- 9:39Speaker 2: so not including them, covering cities like Olympia, which is
- 9:44Speaker 2: the state capital, Bellingham, Vancouver, and the Olympic Peninsula.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Very cool. I've heard we're a pretty big deal out there.
- 9:54Speaker 1: We are.
- 9:54Speaker 2: We're very big in various parts of the Washington State
- 9:58Speaker 2: excluding the dense Attle Tacoma metro core.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yes, we're not big in the metro core of Seattle Tacoma,
- 10:06Speaker 2: but in the western part of Washington State we're pretty big. Thankfully,
- 10:10Speaker 2: we're a pretty big deal there. We are, So hello
- 10:12Speaker 2: to our listeners.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:13Speaker 3: A lot of people ask me how's the podcast going.
- 10:15Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, we're doing a great job. How are
- 10:17Speaker 3: people listening? Of course they are.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Absolutely, especially in the Washington State, not metro core dense
- 10:25Speaker 2: areas of Seattle and Tacoma specifically, Yes, oh man, are
- 10:29Speaker 2: people still here?
- 10:30Speaker 1: Hopefully?
- 10:31Speaker 2: They definitely are in Washington State, but not in the
- 10:34Speaker 2: dense Seattle Tacoma metro core. But where specifically are they
- 10:39Speaker 2: in the western part of Washington?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you.
- 10:43Speaker 3: We didn't even hit random thoughts yet, but I guess
- 10:44Speaker 3: we should go right into it.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Hey, all I know is this is what happens when
- 10:47Speaker 2: you google three six zeros zeria zereo with you in Zyria.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I have no idea. I made up a word. What
- 10:53Speaker 1: is zero? I feel like we have to look up
- 10:55Speaker 1: look up what zero is?
- 10:56Speaker 2: Zero?
- 10:57Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're just saying it just got to me
- 10:58Speaker 1: means that's definitely not a word. Wow.
- 11:00Speaker 2: You know what's funny? I wrote down a list of
- 11:02Speaker 2: stuff I wanted to talk about. Yeah, and now I'm
- 11:04Speaker 2: looking at this list and I'm like, what does this say?
- 11:07Speaker 2: I can't even freaking read this your handwriting?
- 11:10Speaker 1: Yeah, do you write in cursive or print or like
- 11:13Speaker 1: a little bit of bold.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I'll tell you I'm horrible at writing ever since I
- 11:17Speaker 3: got a job for the first time.
- 11:19Speaker 1: And when I was.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Nineteen years old, all we did was use computers. I
- 11:22Speaker 3: barely had to write anything the last twenty two years.
- 11:24Speaker 3: You know, my penmanship is garbage.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Dude.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Is your signature different every time? Yeah, it's bad.
- 11:31Speaker 3: I don't think I have a signature. I have an
- 11:33Speaker 3: idea of a signature that comes out in fifty different
- 11:35Speaker 3: fucking forms.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Sorry I cursed again. So just number four? Very good.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I like this.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Wow, we should really do like the money jar, Like
- 11:42Speaker 2: every time you say an F bomb, you give me
- 11:44Speaker 2: money or something and then we.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Can have a score at the end. Yeah, I kind
- 11:47Speaker 1: of like that. I still can't read my handwriting. I
- 11:49Speaker 1: don't know.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Oh here's what I wrote. Uh oh yeah, what is it?
- 11:54Speaker 2: Tarps for cars? Oh yeah, all right? So it snowed
- 11:58Speaker 2: a lot and I came home the other night and
- 11:59Speaker 2: I see it at least two cars in the parking
- 12:01Speaker 2: lot that had tarps.
- 12:02Speaker 1: On them, and I thought, all right, people, come on, like, you.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Can't wipe the snow off your car, like, really, really,
- 12:06Speaker 2: come on?
- 12:07Speaker 1: It looks a little ridiculous.
- 12:08Speaker 2: However, then these people after this blizzard that we just
- 12:11Speaker 2: had just take the tarp off and then there's no
- 12:14Speaker 2: snow in the car.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Yeah, now I'm a little pitch that I get a tarp.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I should have gotten the tarp.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Does it matter you didn't clean your car off anyway,
- 12:21Speaker 3: someone else did it for you.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it's crazy service we get here at this apartment building. Yeah,
- 12:25Speaker 1: complained too much.
- 12:26Speaker 2: I woke up to a text message of a picture
- 12:28Speaker 2: of my jeep at seven am this morning and it
- 12:31Speaker 2: said all cleared off, mister Joel.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Wow. Wow.
- 12:34Speaker 3: The reason we don't have a guest today is because
- 12:36Speaker 3: of the weather. The ice, you know what I mean,
- 12:37Speaker 3: the ice and the snow, and it is a problem.
- 12:40Speaker 3: It is a problem. And yeah, now our guests couldn't
- 12:42Speaker 3: make it this week, so we're going to reschedule them.
- 12:45Speaker 3: But if weather's a problem again next week, there might
- 12:48Speaker 3: be two episodes of this show that.
- 12:50Speaker 2: We're just gonna be hanging out and talking. God, we're
- 12:52Speaker 2: gonna have to say about it all our listeners.
- 12:54Speaker 3: I know, we just you know, we were doing so
- 12:56Speaker 3: well and then I don't know, I wonder what the
- 12:58Speaker 3: people and the ice happened and now the show suffering.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Are people coming for the trivia? Are people coming for
- 13:06Speaker 3: the lovely entertainment value? Are people coming for the guest
- 13:10Speaker 3: every week?
- 13:10Speaker 1: What? What are people coming for?
- 13:12Speaker 3: I think that having a guest every week has really
- 13:14Speaker 3: been a draw. You know, I think so too, especially different.
- 13:17Speaker 3: They're all different people, they all do different things, and
- 13:20Speaker 3: you and I find that to be interesting because most
- 13:22Speaker 3: people have regular jobs and we just never really have.
- 13:25Speaker 1: You know. But yeah, so I think it works.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Plus, I think the the dynamic between you and I like,
- 13:31Speaker 3: I'm the more sensible person that tries to keep stuff
- 13:34Speaker 3: in line, and then there's you but can't.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Seem to not cry.
- 13:38Speaker 2: I know I'm the more sensible one. Uh, you're the
- 13:43Speaker 2: wild child, thanks a lot. You're the outspoken one. Speaking
- 13:46Speaker 2: of the outspoken one, I was DJing an event the
- 13:50Speaker 2: other night where there was a care curature artist. I
- 13:53Speaker 2: can't say this word for some reason, I don't know
- 13:55Speaker 2: a char curature artist. You got it, cariculature artist. I
- 14:00Speaker 2: don't know why my mouth's not working. Anyway, It's rare
- 14:03Speaker 2: that you go to DJ an event and there's a
- 14:05Speaker 2: character mature artist there drawing pictures so everybody's like.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Joe, you gotta gotta go get a chair drawing.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Well, let me show you my picture because I'm a
- 14:14Speaker 2: little unhappy with it, right, And then the guy showed me, and.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I mean, what would you do.
- 14:21Speaker 2: If you're sitting in the chair and you sit there
- 14:24Speaker 2: completely still for five ten minutes only to be showing
- 14:26Speaker 2: a picture that you're not happy with? What am I
- 14:29Speaker 2: supposed to lie and say I love it? And then
- 14:31Speaker 2: everybody else was like, oh, it's great, it's so you
- 14:34Speaker 2: let me show you.
- 14:34Speaker 1: So show it to me and I'll let you know
- 14:36Speaker 1: how you should have reacted. Look at this, it.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Looks like I don't qualify for the normal sized school bus.
- 14:46Speaker 1: You gotta take a few inches off the bus. Here.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Let me take a picture of your face next to it,
- 14:51Speaker 3: and we'll let the listeners be the judge. And how
- 14:55Speaker 3: accurate this photo is? The microphone's in front of him
- 14:59Speaker 3: too much.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Here you go.
- 15:00Speaker 2: So we're gonna post my awful caricature. I don't know
- 15:03Speaker 2: why I can't say that. We're gonna post a picture
- 15:06Speaker 2: on the Blaze and Confused podcast facebook page.
- 15:09Speaker 1: You can you can tell me what you think.
- 15:10Speaker 3: I think they got the hair sort of, but you
- 15:15Speaker 3: look different, that's for damn sure, look like an animal.
- 15:20Speaker 2: I mean my eyes always do look a little small,
- 15:22Speaker 2: but my eyes look really small in this thing. Yes,
- 15:25Speaker 2: and I wasn't even stoned at this thing. I swear
- 15:28Speaker 2: to God, I was not high at this You were working, right,
- 15:30Speaker 2: I was.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I believe you.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I believe yeah, yes, yeah, uh yeah. There's a lot
- 15:36Speaker 3: to take in with that photo because because well here's
- 15:40Speaker 3: another thing.
- 15:41Speaker 2: You know me, I don't have great skin because I
- 15:43Speaker 2: eat shitty food and I eat McDonald's too much.
- 15:45Speaker 1: McDonald's again.
- 15:46Speaker 2: You could sponsor this podcast, but you give me acne
- 15:48Speaker 2: on my face, and it's an issue. This This dude
- 15:50Speaker 2: decided to draw my caricterture and give me a pimple.
- 15:54Speaker 1: What the hell is that?
- 15:55Speaker 2: Come on, if you're giving somebody a caricature, you should
- 15:57Speaker 2: automatically like at least give them like the photoshop tree
- 16:00Speaker 2: take ah off, you know him a favor Jesus.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Yeah, come on, well all right, Well your face looks
- 16:06Speaker 3: a little.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Scrounged, a little little scrounged, and.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Then you got that forehead there, and then you got
- 16:11Speaker 3: that and a big old thing of hair on you,
- 16:14Speaker 3: big old.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Thing of hair.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I know.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I looked at this. I go, I gotta get a
- 16:18Speaker 1: hair cut. Now.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Your hair looks good right now? In that though, I
- 16:21Speaker 3: think they took it to extremes. And what is this
- 16:23Speaker 3: picture called again?
- 16:25Speaker 1: Uh?
- 16:26Speaker 3: Caricter? Sure, yep, that's the one character. Sure, where are
- 16:30Speaker 3: you gonna put that thing? By the way, I don't
- 16:31Speaker 3: know what do you do with this? I think you
- 16:33Speaker 3: put that right on the door, outside the door, like
- 16:35Speaker 3: if people arrive, they know exactly who lives here.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I got right on that. I gotta get it framed.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Blazed and confused random thoughts.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Joel, for some reason, is very comfortable with driving around
- 16:50Speaker 3: with snow on the top of his car. Why do
- 16:52Speaker 3: you think that's acceptable?
- 16:53Speaker 2: What do you mean, I'm comfortable with driving around with
- 16:55Speaker 2: snow on the top of my car, like.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You told me, like the last snowstorm.
- 16:59Speaker 3: You're like, oh, I was just dry down the road
- 17:00Speaker 3: and I had a snow flying off my car, and
- 17:03Speaker 3: I said, it's illegal to do that. You have to
- 17:06Speaker 3: clear it off the top of your car. But you
- 17:07Speaker 3: don't seem to give a shit. Why don't you give
- 17:09Speaker 3: a shit? Yeah, me and nobody else, I mean, talking
- 17:12Speaker 3: about it, I don't know.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I feel like you get a couple of the big
- 17:15Speaker 2: chunks off, and then you know, you get in the car,
- 17:18Speaker 2: you accelerate and you slam on the brakes five or
- 17:20Speaker 2: six times, and most of the snow falls off, and
- 17:22Speaker 2: then whatever doesn't fall off, you drive down the road
- 17:25Speaker 2: and it falls off.
- 17:26Speaker 3: So you accelerate and then you slam on your brakes
- 17:29Speaker 3: in the parking line in a parking lot, all right,
- 17:30Speaker 3: before you leave.
- 17:31Speaker 1: It's sort of better. That's what you do.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Oh, in this parking lot right here is what you do? Well,
- 17:35Speaker 3: not very big. That's how you get the snow off.
- 17:38Speaker 3: How fast do you go before you slam on your brakes?
- 17:40Speaker 1: And see? I don't know.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I don't take notes. All right, fine, it's the easy
- 17:43Speaker 2: way to get the snow off the car?
- 17:45Speaker 1: Is it? Until I do the tarp thing?
- 17:47Speaker 2: I'm gonna do this, start doing the Honestly, I might
- 17:48Speaker 2: buy a tart before this next shit show next weekend.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Well, I look forward to watching you do that put
- 17:55Speaker 3: a tarpa. I think it'll be funny to video that
- 17:57Speaker 3: and show the world why. I don't know, especially, so
- 18:01Speaker 3: what my parents gave me is they gave me this
- 18:02Speaker 3: like plastic thing to put over my windshield because I
- 18:04Speaker 3: have some ribs that are goofed up. And she said, it'll,
- 18:07Speaker 3: you know, help you with the pain. You don't have
- 18:09Speaker 3: to freaking scrape your windshield and reach and stuff like that.
- 18:12Speaker 3: So they gave me this plastic stuff and I put
- 18:13Speaker 3: it over my windshield and it really worked out great.
- 18:17Speaker 3: But I did it during the windy night. So the
- 18:19Speaker 3: night before the storm, it was pretty windy and I
- 18:21Speaker 3: was outside trying to finagle this giant piece of plastic
- 18:25Speaker 3: and it was It took me like twenty fucking minutes. Sorry, shit,
- 18:29Speaker 3: seven seven. So anyway, I look forward to watching you,
- 18:33Speaker 3: hopefully in a windy night, put a tarp around your vehicle. Well,
- 18:35Speaker 3: I'm gonna wait till a not wendy night then all right, fine,
- 18:38Speaker 3: what if it's windy the night before a storm?
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm all right. So I called my friend.
- 18:45Speaker 3: He's a police officer, and I wanted to make sure
- 18:47Speaker 3: that this is actually accurate. All right, So having snow
- 18:50Speaker 3: and driving around with snow on the top of your
- 18:52Speaker 3: car is illegal. You get a fifty dollars fine just
- 18:57Speaker 3: for that.
- 18:57Speaker 2: I know a few things that you do in the
- 18:58Speaker 2: car that are illegal, Like, I don't want to talk
- 19:02Speaker 2: about that, so yeah, sorry what I don't know what
- 19:07Speaker 2: you're talking about. It's called Christine's Law by the way.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Yeah, have you ever heard of the Chi Chen Chong law?
- 19:12Speaker 1: It's title seventy five. That's what I thought.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Pennsylvania Vehicle Code section thirty seven to twenty one, commonly
- 19:18Speaker 3: known as Christine's Law. So you get a fifty dollars
- 19:20Speaker 3: fine per occurrence. So if you get pulled over and
- 19:23Speaker 3: you have snow in your cars, fifty bucks. You know
- 19:24Speaker 3: what the fine is when you get caught smoking the
- 19:26Speaker 3: Devil's lettuce behind him? I wouldn't know. So yeah, moving on,
- 19:29Speaker 3: Thank you, thank you for your worry. I guess I'm
- 19:34Speaker 3: glad you're concerned. Thank you.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Thank you. Yes, yes, not just for you, for other people.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Speaking of snow, Why are the grocery store shelves completely empty?
- 19:43Speaker 3: People were in their house for one fucking day. Chuck
- 19:46Speaker 3: it up, chalck it up. Just wow, it really is
- 19:49Speaker 3: hard for him. Again, I was on.
- 19:51Speaker 1: It's when I soap in my mouth, It's when I smoke.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Is that what it is?
- 19:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 19:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, blame it on that real loose and blame
- 19:56Speaker 3: it on flow blame it on that.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, and I got the soap in the mouth. Well,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I buy all this food.
- 20:00Speaker 3: If you're gonna be stuck in the house for one day,
- 20:02Speaker 3: did you go to the store and stock up on food?
- 20:04Speaker 2: Uh?
- 20:04Speaker 1: No, I kind of already had though I already had
- 20:06Speaker 1: food too. Yeah.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Yeah, but I did it five days prior because I
- 20:10Speaker 3: knew there was gonna be snow coming.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Why do people wait to the last minute first?
- 20:13Speaker 2: Well, and to me too, it's like why do people
- 20:15Speaker 2: Why is there so much emphasis on the bread and
- 20:17Speaker 2: milk and the eggs.
- 20:18Speaker 3: It's just easy stuff that you can make, So if
- 20:20Speaker 3: you're stuck in the house with no power, you can
- 20:21Speaker 3: still have some food. Well yeah, even if you can
- 20:25Speaker 3: make a fire, you can make some eggs.
- 20:26Speaker 4: You know.
- 20:26Speaker 2: I thought about it if I would have lost power,
- 20:28Speaker 2: which I didn't, thank good, But I have a gas stove,
- 20:31Speaker 2: so that means that I can like still have heat.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Would you be terrified though I'd still have heat? How
- 20:38Speaker 3: would I have heat if you had a gas stove?
- 20:41Speaker 3: But I just huddle over the stove, yeah, or you
- 20:43Speaker 3: could turn it on to hang out by the stove
- 20:45Speaker 3: at least No, see, I thought, Oh, I didn't even
- 20:48Speaker 3: think of the as a heater.
- 20:49Speaker 2: I thought of it as like, oh well, I could
- 20:51Speaker 2: still like make food if I wanted to.
- 20:53Speaker 1: That too, but also heat.
- 20:56Speaker 3: It still would worry me because I feel like the
- 20:58Speaker 3: fumes would just be excuse me.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I don't like that gas thing over there is creepy.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, for you have to light it with fire
- 21:04Speaker 3: to start it up the automatic.
- 21:06Speaker 2: No, it has the automatic good, but that's just creepy though.
- 21:09Speaker 2: You have to like turn it and then it goes,
- 21:11Speaker 2: but then it goes.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like that. I don't like it.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I don't like it because I always feel like I'm
- 21:17Speaker 2: doing something wrong and I'm about to set the whole
- 21:19Speaker 2: building on fire. People that don't cook should not have
- 21:21Speaker 2: gas stoves. Yeah, I want electric. Then everybody's like, everybody's like,
- 21:24Speaker 2: oh gosh, so much better.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 21:26Speaker 3: I don't want it to be better. I want it
- 21:28Speaker 3: to be safer. Yeah, yeah, less economical.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I don't want a flame and creepy. You go to
- 21:33Speaker 1: cook something and there's a whole flame.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Just years ago, I had an apartment that had like
- 21:38Speaker 3: one you had to light manually. I hated that, Like
- 21:40Speaker 3: with a light, yeah, you had to start the gas
- 21:42Speaker 3: and then put your hand down there and light it,
- 21:44Speaker 3: and I'd be.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Like, you know, the other thing about this kitchen in
- 21:48Speaker 2: this apartment. For some reason, the fire uh what's it called,
- 21:52Speaker 2: smoke detector thing over here is a little too close
- 21:55Speaker 2: to the kitchen. So every time you put the stove on,
- 21:58Speaker 2: no matter what it is, it could be nothing. I'm
- 22:00Speaker 2: smoking nothing. I go to make like scrambled eggs. Next thing,
- 22:03Speaker 2: you know, the smoke detector's going off. Yeah, and it's funny.
- 22:07Speaker 2: I'll sit here on my couch and I'll hear other
- 22:08Speaker 2: people smoke detectors going off the Yeah, it must be
- 22:12Speaker 2: defective apartment building. Everybody's smoke alarms going off. All right,
- 22:16Speaker 2: I think it's trivia time. Sure we're not doing rapid around, no,
- 22:19Speaker 2: wrap it around trivia time. Who's going first? You?
- 22:23Speaker 1: I'm going like, I'm answering, or you can ask me. Okay,
- 22:26Speaker 1: question number one? How about I picked.
- 22:31Speaker 2: The questions instead of having you picked your category because
- 22:33Speaker 2: I like this question to start. It's category is jipped
- 22:37Speaker 2: from Jeopardy, a question that I stole right from Jeopardy. Okay,
- 22:40Speaker 2: because I'm watching Jeopardy at night, I'm thinking Becker would
- 22:42Speaker 2: never get this right.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Great, so jyp from Jeopardy.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Within that the category is just ad s okay, just
- 22:51Speaker 2: add s to rule a kingdom and to quit your job.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Jipped from Jeopardy just ad s. Just add s to
- 23:04Speaker 2: rule a kingdom and to.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Quit your job.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Huh, you understand what I'm going on.
- 23:11Speaker 1: I'm having difficulty. Just add s. Yeah, you don't really
- 23:15Speaker 1: struck me as the Jeopardy type. No, I'm not. Thanks
- 23:18Speaker 1: for the way. Here's the thing. Neither am I.
- 23:20Speaker 2: But I still watch it like almost every night. Yeah,
- 23:23Speaker 2: I'm gonna I don't get any of the questions correct.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I just still find the entertain I don't have TV
- 23:27Speaker 2: on very often. I would watch it though. I like
- 23:29Speaker 2: Real Fortune too, Just add s, So you're gonna have
- 23:31Speaker 2: it's gonna be like a two part answer. So it's
- 23:34Speaker 2: two words. It's one word and then you're adding an
- 23:36Speaker 2: S and it's another word. Just ad s okay, to
- 23:40Speaker 2: rule a kingdom and to quit your job.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Just ad s.
- 23:44Speaker 3: I have no idea, dude. I don't think I'm ever
- 23:47Speaker 3: gonna get My brain will not compute.
- 23:48Speaker 2: It's like the yeah, all right, so you mean to
- 23:52Speaker 2: tell me that I was correct in my thinking that
- 23:54Speaker 2: Becker will never get just correct. Yeah, all right, so
- 23:57Speaker 2: just ad sip from Jeopardy. To rule a kingdom is
- 24:01Speaker 2: to reign a kingdom. You just add s to quit
- 24:05Speaker 2: your job is to resign. So they would never I
- 24:08Speaker 2: think that I would have need I would have needed
- 24:10Speaker 2: to like see that on screen or something to understand that.
- 24:12Speaker 2: So to correctly answer the question too, since it's from Jeopardy,
- 24:16Speaker 2: you would say what what is?
- 24:19Speaker 1: What is rain? And resign? Correct question too? How about grammar.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Words that express excitement or emotion like hey, oh, yay
- 24:37Speaker 2: or ouch.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Are what part of speech?
- 24:42Speaker 2: Is that?
- 24:42Speaker 1: An adverb? Adjunction? Is that A I.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Shouldn't tell you this, but I will anyway since I'm
- 24:49Speaker 2: such a nice guy. But there's like a what's it
- 24:53Speaker 2: called a schoolhouse rock?
- 24:54Speaker 1: Is it a ject? Who the hell?
- 24:55Speaker 3: Is it interjection or a conjunction? Hmmm, you're gonna give
- 25:01Speaker 3: me an answer? Am I gonna interjection? I don't know
- 25:03Speaker 3: what's your interjection?
- 25:05Speaker 2: Fuck?
- 25:06Speaker 1: Did I get.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Oh?
- 25:08Speaker 1: Wait, shit, I got it right? All right, cool man.
- 25:13Speaker 3: I don't know if your a hint really helped me
- 25:16Speaker 3: because I kept thinking of, you know, conjunction, junction with
- 25:18Speaker 3: your function. But I couldn't remember anything about injection. Interjection.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Now the interjection song was like interjection show excitement or emotion.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Oh wow, yeah, interjection, Hey excitement. I haven't thought about that.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Oh my god, in thirty five years. Interjection excitement.
- 25:40Speaker 3: I give you an interjection. They can't have that version
- 25:45Speaker 3: in school anymore. They took away that book years ago.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Question three.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Famous people.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Name the former pop singer who became of Palm Springs,
- 26:01Speaker 2: California in nineteen eighty eight.
- 26:07Speaker 1: No lifeline this week. That's a nice one. We can
- 26:10Speaker 1: call someone, can we do? No? No, come on, all right,
- 26:13Speaker 1: it'd be fun and you're no fun, you know.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Name the former pop singer who became mayor of Palm Springs,
- 26:19Speaker 2: California in nineteen eighty eight.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Go ahead, call somebody who you gonna call? How about?
- 26:25Speaker 2: How about you call somebody, but I get to pick
- 26:26Speaker 2: who you call. All right, call your sister. All right,
- 26:33Speaker 2: she's never gonna though.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Good one.
- 26:36Speaker 2: She's gonna be like Taylor Swift. You're not wrong, yo, Kelly,
- 26:39Speaker 2: it's Joel. You're on the You're live on the podcast.
- 26:41Speaker 2: He's going to you for his lifeline. So you got
- 26:43Speaker 2: to answer this question. Name the former pop singer who
- 26:47Speaker 2: became the mayor of Palm Springs, California in nineteen eighty eight.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I was gonna see Arnold Schwarzenegger. Oh he's not a
- 26:54Speaker 1: pop shots. So I'm gonna say, make me, make me can?
- 27:00Speaker 1: I ask a friend that's sitting next to me, Jeez,
- 27:03Speaker 1: what is this the lifeline of the lifeline? Lifeline?
- 27:06Speaker 2: Jeez? You need to make an exception, Joel, you need
- 27:09Speaker 2: to make an exception.
- 27:11Speaker 1: All right? Fine? Any ready? Nineteen eighty eight, nineteen.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Eighty a pop star that became the Palm Springs mayor.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Do you know who would have been? Sonny Bono? Sonny Bono? Interesting,
- 27:28Speaker 1: Sonny Bono. I don't know, mister Becker. I'm going to
- 27:31Speaker 1: go with Sonny Bono. Yeah it's Sonny b very good.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Thank you, Kelly. You actually surprised the hell out of me.
- 27:39Speaker 2: And thanks to your friends there. Yeah, Kelly, we're not
- 27:41Speaker 2: thinking you. We're thanking everybody you're with.
- 27:44Speaker 1: You're welcome, You're welcome anytime.
- 27:48Speaker 2: By very good Sonny Bono.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Tonny Bono? What a name? Bono? Sony?
- 27:56Speaker 2: What a name?
- 27:57Speaker 1: On both spectrum? Sonny what a name? Bono? Question four?
- 28:03Speaker 2: I got two rights so far. The final question here
- 28:06Speaker 2: is pretty easy. It's game shows, and the question is
- 28:13Speaker 2: what's the name of the TV quiz show where celebrities
- 28:17Speaker 2: occupied the spaces on a Tic tac toe board? Hollywood Square,
- 28:22Speaker 2: Hollywood Squares? Very good, now you're it Hollywood Square or Squares?
- 28:26Speaker 1: No? I always said Hollywood Squares.
- 28:28Speaker 2: H like there's more than one now your version of
- 28:31Speaker 2: Hollywood Squares that you remember growing up?
- 28:33Speaker 1: Who's the host? I couldn't tell you any of the hosts.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I can't remember who hosted that show really, so I
- 28:39Speaker 2: would say Tom bergeron don't you remember when it was
- 28:42Speaker 2: like revived in the early two thousands with Tom watched it?
- 28:45Speaker 1: No?
- 28:46Speaker 3: No, I don't think I did, or I didn't pay
- 28:47Speaker 3: much attention.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Are you not a big game show guy? I do.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I like Game Show Network, but I like Password a lot. Yeah.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I like the fifty.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Thousand dollars Pyramid or whatever it's called or whatever, one
- 28:59Speaker 3: hundred thousand dollars.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Michael Strahan hosts that now, right, Yeah? Yeah, he tell
- 29:04Speaker 2: us another one. He's like he does too much. Enough
- 29:06Speaker 2: of him already, you know, Brian Seacrest, enough, God, at
- 29:09Speaker 2: least he give up at least he gave up that
- 29:10Speaker 2: morning show if you were the Live with Kelly and Yeah,
- 29:14Speaker 2: that's because the intel with her is that nobody can
- 29:16Speaker 2: stand her really. Yeah, apparently she's like a raging you
- 29:18Speaker 2: know what. And now it's her and her husband, right, yeah,
- 29:20Speaker 2: because nobody else can deal with her.
- 29:21Speaker 1: It's not good act.
- 29:22Speaker 2: So she's stuck with her husband, Like, well, we can't
- 29:25Speaker 2: find anybody else.
- 29:26Speaker 1: So why didn't you just bring her husband?
- 29:27Speaker 2: Ina?
- 29:27Speaker 1: Why don't you put your marriage on the line and
- 29:29Speaker 1: see what happens? All right? You want to trivia be
- 29:31Speaker 1: up here? Yeah, it's my turn to ask you some
- 29:33Speaker 1: things that you probably won't know. Probably, let's do it.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Question number one? All right?
- 29:40Speaker 3: What video game was invented in nineteen eighty and went
- 29:43Speaker 3: on to become a fourteen plus billion dollar franchise?
- 29:47Speaker 1: Nineteen eighty?
- 29:50Speaker 2: Boy, I'm trying to use my context clues, of which
- 29:55Speaker 2: there are none other than nineteen eighty and a couple
- 29:57Speaker 2: billion fucking dollars? How am I supposed to come up
- 29:59Speaker 2: with the answer from that?
- 30:00Speaker 3: What video game was invented in nineteen eighty and went
- 30:04Speaker 3: on to become a fourteen plus billion dollar franchise?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Plus? Yeah? Gee?
- 30:09Speaker 3: I don't have my Uh, there's a little hint plus
- 30:13Speaker 3: because it grew a little bit.
- 30:15Speaker 1: The pac Man.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Pac Man seems right for like nineteen eighty Uh.
- 30:22Speaker 1: What video game or video game? Like system? Video game?
- 30:26Speaker 1: Video game? What else?
- 30:30Speaker 2: When I think nineteen eighty and I think video game,
- 30:32Speaker 2: I think the only things that come to mind are
- 30:35Speaker 2: pac Man and like Pong?
- 30:37Speaker 1: Right? Did you ever play Pong? Nah? That's before my time.
- 30:41Speaker 2: I know what it is, though, I'm gonna go with
- 30:45Speaker 2: pac Man. Which you got it?
- 30:47Speaker 4: Oh?
- 30:47Speaker 2: I did? He did?
- 30:48Speaker 1: Yes, love package.
- 30:50Speaker 3: I don't know how the you know how you pronounce
- 30:52Speaker 3: this guy's name, but it's Touru i Watani or Toru
- 30:56Speaker 3: or Ewatani oh him?
- 30:58Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 30:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Yeah, you guys are good friends. I used
- 31:02Speaker 2: to drink together, actually we did. We did Happy Hour
- 31:05Speaker 2: Staley's actually.
- 31:05Speaker 3: And you guys would go and play pac Man at
- 31:07Speaker 3: the Bart again. We would me and Toro to to
- 31:12Speaker 3: it just turned seventy one. Happy birthday. Yeah, I was
- 31:14Speaker 3: at his birthday party. No, you were, That's why I
- 31:15Speaker 3: brought it up.
- 31:16Speaker 4: I was.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Yeah, me and mister pac Man we go way back.
- 31:21Speaker 2: However, here's a question I've never been able to get
- 31:23Speaker 2: out of him. What's the difference between pac Man and
- 31:26Speaker 2: missus pac Man other than you know, she goes to
- 31:29Speaker 2: the kind of cologist like other than that's what's what's
- 31:32Speaker 2: the difference? Not the bow, well that's the other thing. Yeah,
- 31:36Speaker 2: what else? I think that's it. What they just needed,
- 31:39Speaker 2: like an excuse to come up with a new version.
- 31:41Speaker 2: So they're like, you know what, We'll give her a
- 31:44Speaker 2: and then yeah, interesting, I think you got it. You
- 31:49Speaker 2: know what we should have now? I mean it is
- 31:50Speaker 2: twenty twenty six. We need the all inclusive pac Man.
- 31:54Speaker 2: What would that be called the non binary pac Man
- 31:57Speaker 2: pac Man non binearary pack?
- 31:59Speaker 3: They them that sounds bad? Okay, anyway, question too, what
- 32:07Speaker 3: was the first film to release a soundtrack? Ooh, that's
- 32:12Speaker 3: a great question, No idea. Wherey to even start?
- 32:16Speaker 2: Though, if I'm gonna watch a movie, chances are I'm
- 32:18Speaker 2: gonna watch a movie and only pay attention to the
- 32:20Speaker 2: music and not the storyline. So yep, the first movie
- 32:26Speaker 2: to release a soundtrack. See, this is tough because a
- 32:30Speaker 2: lot of movies, I think a lot of movies get
- 32:34Speaker 2: released and then years later, if people are like, oh
- 32:36Speaker 2: the music for this is good.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Let's put out a soundtrack for this movie.
- 32:39Speaker 2: But I feel like you're talking about released when the
- 32:42Speaker 2: movie came out, Like, man, can I get like an era?
- 32:46Speaker 3: Hint woo, that's all right. I can give you the
- 32:54Speaker 3: decade nineteen forties, forties yep, Okay, Well I'll just give
- 33:01Speaker 3: you the year. I guess nineteen forty four. First movie
- 33:09Speaker 3: to have a soundtrack. Would it be like White Christmas?
- 33:14Speaker 2: Maybe? Or what's that called It's a Wonderful Life? Is
- 33:19Speaker 2: there music in that? I don't know what else is
- 33:23Speaker 2: in the forties? It's like a popular movie. Is it popular?
- 33:27Speaker 2: Like everybody's seen this? I think it's very popular. I'm
- 33:29Speaker 2: gonna say White Christmas. I think that's wrong.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Though you're close. It's one white ah White nineteen forty four.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Oh okay. It's been a while since I watched No
- 33:40Speaker 3: What Me Too? I can't even remember. I was probably
- 33:42Speaker 3: I used to.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Have all those on VHS growing up, though I did too.
- 33:46Speaker 2: I had the whole collection of the Disney movies on
- 33:48Speaker 2: the VHS.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Good old Tape Reindeer, Rudolf, the Rudolf, the Red Nose Reindeer?
- 33:56Speaker 3: I remember that one? What else did I have on VHS?
- 33:59Speaker 3: I remember like watching them every Christmas, usually by myself
- 34:02Speaker 3: because I have my own VCR in my room.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Yeah, back in the day.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Yeah, for the longest time, the TV that I used
- 34:08Speaker 2: to watch TV on was never hooked up. The cable
- 34:11Speaker 2: would only have VCR on it, or then it had
- 34:13Speaker 2: like a PlayStation and I would watch DVDs on it.
- 34:16Speaker 1: So you know, you watch the same shit over and
- 34:17Speaker 1: over and over and over. And did you watch a
- 34:19Speaker 1: lot of music stuff? Yeah? My god, yeah, earth was
- 34:21Speaker 1: it mostly music time?
- 34:23Speaker 2: Mostly music stuff. However, this man, this is crazy high
- 34:25Speaker 2: school musical, which this is probably post your generation. Dude,
- 34:29Speaker 2: it's twenty years old. I know, twenty years old. It's
- 34:33Speaker 2: like a week ago. It celebrated its twentieth anniversary. I
- 34:36Speaker 2: was twenty one when that came out. I was in elementary's.
- 34:40Speaker 2: I was in the fourth grade or like the third
- 34:42Speaker 2: grade when that came out, maybe even the second grade.
- 34:45Speaker 1: I don't know. All I know is that was like huge.
- 34:48Speaker 1: It was huge, huge, huge.
- 34:50Speaker 2: I remember feel like people talking about this on the
- 34:52Speaker 2: playground and now it was twenty years ago.
- 34:55Speaker 3: So you not being a movie guy, do you remember
- 34:57Speaker 3: movies that you liked watching when you were younger, Even
- 35:01Speaker 3: if you had to watch the same one's over and
- 35:02Speaker 3: over different, you know, aside from music documentaries or anything
- 35:06Speaker 3: like that concerts. Was there a movie you were ever into? Yeah,
- 35:10Speaker 3: like the kid movies of course, like what Monsters in
- 35:12Speaker 3: Love It? Okay, Toy Story Love It. My hot take
- 35:15Speaker 3: is that Finding the Emo is boring? Is all that
- 35:17Speaker 3: these are all animated movies. You never watched anything else.
- 35:21Speaker 3: You remember the movie The Spider What Chronicles? Yeah, I
- 35:24Speaker 3: don't really remember it, but I remember the I don't
- 35:26Speaker 3: know why that.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Comes to mind, but I remember I had that on
- 35:28Speaker 2: DVD growing up. I used to like that movie. I
- 35:30Speaker 2: don't know. I don't know what else. Come on, I
- 35:33Speaker 2: don't know. Not a movie guy, And it's fine. Got
- 35:36Speaker 2: any more questions? You were interrogating me. Hear about movies
- 35:38Speaker 2: when you're getting off track, here, ask me your questions.
- 35:41Speaker 1: It's good to three. Okay.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Question three? What does the acronym bolo stand for? When
- 35:50Speaker 3: you hear, like a Copple say, we're putting a bolo.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Out for I never once heard that term ever. Really
- 35:56Speaker 1: a bolo?
- 35:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I watch a lot of TV.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Everything I've never heard of that is in a bolo.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Also like a tie or something a Mexican tie. I've
- 36:05Speaker 3: literally never heard this ever.
- 36:07Speaker 1: A bolo?
- 36:07Speaker 3: Yeah, never heard of that word before. I guess you're
- 36:09Speaker 3: getting this one wrong. Do you want to do a phono?
- 36:11Speaker 1: Friend?
- 36:11Speaker 2: Do you want to call your mom? She's not gonna
- 36:13Speaker 2: know what a fucking bolo is? You might, Hey, mom,
- 36:16Speaker 2: what's a blowjob? Let me get your father?
- 36:21Speaker 1: A bolo? Bolo? Is it a cop? Says bolo?
- 36:31Speaker 3: Putting an alert up? When they put out like an
- 36:33Speaker 3: alert about someone or something, they put a bolo out
- 36:39Speaker 3: and it means something.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Gee, I don't even know.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Just be on the lookout bolo. Never heard of that before.
- 36:49Speaker 3: B Oh, wouldn't that be bot the lo? Be on
- 36:53Speaker 3: the lookout both?
- 36:54Speaker 1: Where's the te? B O?
- 36:56Speaker 4: T l O?
- 36:56Speaker 1: They leave the te's out a little?
- 36:57Speaker 4: Why?
- 36:58Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Oh my god, I'm learning a lot today. Great, be
- 37:02Speaker 2: on the lookout right. Just remember, I want to become
- 37:04Speaker 2: a pediatrist. I want to cut nails. I don't want
- 37:06Speaker 2: to become a law anything.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Police. Bolo, You couldn't blow job you question for anyway?
- 37:15Speaker 3: What is the scientific name for the skull?
- 37:21Speaker 1: Oh? Is it like your crane?
- 37:25Speaker 4: No?
- 37:26Speaker 1: No, you made a hit face.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Maybe that's only your head cranium. What is the scientific
- 37:33Speaker 3: name for the skull?
- 37:35Speaker 2: The medical name for the skull? I really don't know.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Couldn't be a doctor either. What's your guess the skull?
- 37:43Speaker 1: What was your other guest before? It's cranium?
- 37:45Speaker 3: Final answer? Should it be yes? It should be yeah?
- 37:48Speaker 3: Should it be sure?
- 37:49Speaker 1: Really? Yeah?
- 37:50Speaker 3: Is it the cran I'll give it to you with
- 37:53Speaker 3: my help. Yes, it's cranium. Is it it is?
- 37:55Speaker 1: You got it? Oh?
- 37:56Speaker 2: Wow, you just didn't say a final answer before.
- 38:00Speaker 1: You're very specific about that.
- 38:01Speaker 2: No. I thought it was that, but then I thought
- 38:03Speaker 2: it was only like the front part, like your foreheads,
- 38:04Speaker 2: your cranium.
- 38:05Speaker 1: But no, the cranium is the whole thing. Yep, okay, nogging.
- 38:08Speaker 3: You got to know how I caricature artists really captured thanks.
- 38:13Speaker 2: You know how I knew that because I used to
- 38:15Speaker 2: know somebody that I used to walk around and said
- 38:18Speaker 2: that everybody has crannial rectosis. You know what that means?
- 38:21Speaker 2: Head up your ass suffering from crannial rectosis.
- 38:25Speaker 1: That sounds like something your dad said about you when
- 38:27Speaker 1: you were a kid. No comment, it's time for you mean?
- 38:36Speaker 2: So you did leave dippin dots in my fridge last
- 38:39Speaker 2: week or in my freezer. You left two of them.
- 38:41Speaker 2: You left a cookies and cream one and then a
- 38:43Speaker 2: banana split one.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Try it. Bananas. Are you have bananas on your table
- 38:50Speaker 1: right now? Yeah?
- 38:51Speaker 2: Let me ask you what color are they? You have
- 38:53Speaker 2: three left, though, Yeah, but they're black. Might eating those?
- 38:56Speaker 2: Everybody's like, oh, you can make banana bright. It's like, yeah, listen,
- 38:58Speaker 2: I could do a lot of things, but you can't
- 39:00Speaker 2: eat them because they're black.
- 39:01Speaker 1: All right, No, you.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Left dippin'dots here last weekend, and you go on the
- 39:05Speaker 2: off trench that they're still here next week.
- 39:07Speaker 1: We can do it for Yeah.
- 39:08Speaker 3: I planned ahead because I ate one of them. Yeah,
- 39:11Speaker 3: planned ahead. I brought another snack just in case because
- 39:13Speaker 3: I figured that might be the case.
- 39:14Speaker 1: So what do we got this one? So we've had
- 39:16Speaker 1: cheese it's before.
- 39:17Speaker 3: We both agree that toasty ones are the best ones, right, Yeah,
- 39:19Speaker 3: these are different Sargento. You know, the cheese company, Sargento.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 39:23Speaker 3: They have their own cheese bakes, dude. So I went
- 39:26Speaker 3: to Costco with my cheese bake.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:28Speaker 3: I went to Costco with my neighbors the other day
- 39:31Speaker 3: and there's samples like everywhere, and they gave out cups
- 39:34Speaker 3: of these and I had one bite of one and I.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Was like, where's the bag? Wow?
- 39:39Speaker 2: On first, like, my first observation is that the bag
- 39:42Speaker 2: is very heavy, Like it feels like a heavy snack.
- 39:45Speaker 1: It's a big it's a big bag. It's a big
- 39:47Speaker 1: old cracker. That was good. It was like me and
- 39:50Speaker 1: the whitest guy I know. That's for damn sure, Okay,
- 39:56Speaker 1: pretty good? Right. Yeah.
- 39:59Speaker 3: The reason that there's so many left is because they
- 40:01Speaker 3: are a heavier snack palmsan and oregano mm hmmm. They're
- 40:07Speaker 3: like a puffy or thicker. It's like a fancy choose it. Yeah,
- 40:10Speaker 3: really good though, oh white choose it mm hm. So
- 40:13Speaker 3: you know what I learned about Costco, and I was
- 40:14Speaker 3: warned about this, is that you can't It sucks to
- 40:17Speaker 3: find something you really like there because the next time
- 40:19Speaker 3: you go they may not have it. Apparently there's like
- 40:22Speaker 3: their supply changes all the time, really and you can't
- 40:25Speaker 3: get repeat like food you like.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Is that weird? I've never really been to Costco.
- 40:30Speaker 3: It's and it's an experience, you know, but it's nothing.
- 40:33Speaker 3: I think you should go the more I think about it.
- 40:34Speaker 3: I don't think I've ever like set foot into Costco. Yeah,
- 40:37Speaker 3: I don't.
- 40:38Speaker 2: I bought my parents for Christmas the one year a membership,
- 40:42Speaker 2: and I think they went in once and just used
- 40:44Speaker 2: it for the gas and then let it run out.
- 40:47Speaker 3: People were there for the gas, dude. There were like
- 40:48Speaker 3: so many like tanks or tanks what do they call them?
- 40:53Speaker 1: Pumps?
- 40:54Speaker 3: They had so many pumps, dude, And there was just
- 40:56Speaker 3: lines and lines and lines of people lined up for
- 40:58Speaker 3: this gas, which was about thety cents cheaper than everything else.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Is it worth it though? We're you gonna sit in
- 41:04Speaker 3: that line for an hour? Is everything bulk at Costco
- 41:08Speaker 3: pretty much? Or big or just big?
- 41:10Speaker 1: Ye?
- 41:10Speaker 3: See like my family size like cereals that are like
- 41:12Speaker 3: novelty size. You'd be like that can't be real.
- 41:15Speaker 2: I feel like not everybody has to buy in bulk.
- 41:17Speaker 2: I mean, if you're a family, you got kids run
- 41:19Speaker 2: around Max.
- 41:20Speaker 3: I was gonna get a membership, and my friends were like, dude,
- 41:22Speaker 3: if you need something, just let us now you or
- 41:23Speaker 3: you can just come with us again. You know you
- 41:24Speaker 3: don't have to get it. It's sixty five dollars a year.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Whoa eh was that twelve bucks a month. No, that's
- 41:32Speaker 3: less than that. I'm not going to ask you. You'll
- 41:34Speaker 3: never know the answer to that.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I have no idea.
- 41:36Speaker 3: I like your pretty good, right, Sargento cheese bigs, a fancier,
- 41:41Speaker 3: more adult version of a cheese itt parmesan and oregano.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Very she would like one if you want to give
- 41:46Speaker 1: her away.
- 41:46Speaker 3: So the moment that I opened, I got this bag out,
- 41:48Speaker 3: she got off the couch and she came right to
- 41:50Speaker 3: my side.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Oh she can she have one of these, A wholeful
- 41:53Speaker 1: one like this?
- 41:53Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, least now she likes you.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Hereious, how she's gonna eat? It's a little it's like
- 42:04Speaker 3: a little thicker. Does she like treats that are like
- 42:07Speaker 3: thick like that?
- 42:08Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 42:08Speaker 1: I guess. I don't know Lucy likes anything. Dude.
- 42:11Speaker 2: This dog licks her ass. I don't think that she
- 42:13Speaker 2: you know, I don't think that she has a preference.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Some dogs are picky. She licks her ass, she does, Dude.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Some of the things I see this dog doing, I'm like, man,
- 42:25Speaker 2: it's a good thing. I can't do that, because if
- 42:27Speaker 2: I could be a problem, why.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Could you do just do it all the time? Well,
- 42:31Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 42:32Speaker 2: She's she's very flexible. She can really get in there.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Should I stop talking?
- 42:36Speaker 1: Maybe? Okay? End show. Okay, I'm Becker. That's Joel Bye.
