- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to pick up
- 0:06Speaker 1: where we left off with the Hillary Clinton transcript from
- 0:09Speaker 1: her trip to Congress. Clinton, no, I'm going to finish
- 0:12Speaker 1: answering the question, which I have a right to do.
- 0:14Speaker 1: I am very sympathetic to your personal situation. I've read
- 0:18Speaker 1: about it. I've seen you testify or speak on the
- 0:20Speaker 1: floor about it. And I very much sympathize with not
- 0:23Speaker 1: only what you went through, but appreciate your effort to
- 0:26Speaker 1: stand up for survivors. I was a senator representing the
- 0:29Speaker 1: people who were murdered on 9-11. Nobody lost more people
- 0:33Speaker 1: than Howard Ludnick. You can say whatever you want. You
- 0:35Speaker 1: can call them and have them appear before the committee.
- 0:39Speaker 1: But I knew him as the man who lost employees
- 0:42Speaker 1: that he knew intimately, including his brother, Nancy Mace, and
- 0:46Speaker 1: he was a go-between between you and Jeffrey Epstein raising
- 0:49Speaker 1: money for you. Clinton's lawyer jumps in. Let her finish
- 0:52Speaker 1: your answer, please. Let her finish your answer. Hillary Clinton,
- 0:56Speaker 1: you know what? If you don't want to hear what
- 0:58Speaker 1: emotionally affected me, that's fine. But that's why I know
- 1:01Speaker 1: Howard Lutnick. I went to the memorial service every 9-11
- 1:05Speaker 1: after the formal service was held with all of his
- 1:08Speaker 1: people and his families. Nancy Mace, he was a go-between
- 1:13Speaker 1: for you and Jeffrey Epstein, even raising money for your campaign. Clinton, well,
- 1:18Speaker 1: Howard Lutnick and I did work together. Nancy Mace, thank you.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I will now yield to you, Congresswoman Luna. Thank you.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Clinton finishes, because we have a lot of victims to
- 1:28Speaker 1: take care of, and we work together to rebuild downtown Manhattan.
- 1:31Speaker 1: That's how I know Howard Lutnick. Chairman Comer jumps in.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Why don't you move here? Want to get over here?
- 1:38Speaker 1: Anna Paulina Luna, fine, I'll do the heavy lifting per usual.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Paulina Luna, okay, am I good? Okay, Secretary Clinton, thank
- 1:49Speaker 1: you for being here today. Clinton, thank you, Congresswoman. Question,
- 1:53Speaker 1: President Clinton has stated that he severed ties with Epstein
- 1:56Speaker 1: around 2005 prior to the 2008 conviction. Were you involved
- 2:01Speaker 1: or informed of any communication, email, calls, or meetings related
- 2:05Speaker 1: to distancing the foundation and or your family after those
- 2:08Speaker 1: 2008 convictions? Answer, I was not. Question, you had mentioned
- 2:13Speaker 1: that this committee had avoided calling people to testify who
- 2:16Speaker 1: should be sitting here. I would like to show you
- 2:18Speaker 1: some emails. If the staff could please pass out to
- 2:21Speaker 1: the members and the secretary, EFTA 00878421 and EFTA 00705860, please,
- 2:31Speaker 1: so she can see it. This will be Exhibit 14
- 2:34Speaker 1: and 15 for the majority. Question, and I'll wait for
- 2:39Speaker 1: you to get them so you can see them. Clinton,
- 2:41Speaker 1: thank you. Speaker jumps in, unnamed speaker. Thank you very much.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Are these two separate? Paulina Luna, yes.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Question by the lawyer, thank you, and I'm going to
- 2:53Speaker 1: pass them down because I have more for my colleagues. Yep,
- 2:56Speaker 1: one more here. Question, they're the same? There's two documents there.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Paulina Luna, yeah, they're two emails, both different EFTAs. Secretary Clinton,
- 3:05Speaker 1: would you please read EFTA 00705860? You don't have to
- 3:10Speaker 1: read from, it's to Jeffrey Epstein, but you could read
- 3:13Speaker 1: the context of the email. Unnamed Speaker jumps in. Sorry,
- 3:18Speaker 1: could you state that number again? Is the number at
- 3:20Speaker 1: the bottom? Paulina Luna. Yeah, it's at the bottom. It's
- 3:25Speaker 1: EFTA 00705860. Speaker, this is Majority 14. Other Speaker jumps in.
- 3:32Speaker 1: And these are all unnamed people. 14. Yes, sir. Clinton,
- 3:35Speaker 1: thank you for a fun night. Your littlest girl was
- 3:38Speaker 1: a little naughty. Paulina Luna. How does that make you feel? Clinton,
- 3:43Speaker 1: it makes me sick. Question. If you can read the
- 3:49Speaker 1: EFTA 00878421, this is also another email. Can you please
- 3:52Speaker 1: just provide the context? It's an email to Jeffrey Epstein.
- 3:55Speaker 1: If you could just read the context of what it is. Clinton,
- 3:58Speaker 1: of course. The OH Jesus, Ohio Jesus, Oh Jesus, Paulina Luna,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and just the main body and context of the email.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton, oh, said that she felt God's presence next
- 4:11Speaker 1: to her when she was in bed. She knows that
- 4:14Speaker 1: Jesus watches over her. and he helped save her life. Question,
- 4:19Speaker 1: how does that make you feel? Answer, it's bizarre. I
- 4:22Speaker 1: don't know what it means. Question, the reason that I
- 4:25Speaker 1: asked you to read both of these is because these
- 4:27Speaker 1: emails were both sent by co-conspirators that were then given
- 4:30Speaker 1: the plea deals and now have been given victim status.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Both of these women were also named on an FBI
- 4:36Speaker 1: document and they're on a number of other emails. Do
- 4:39Speaker 1: you believe that the Department of Justice should reevaluate the
- 4:42Speaker 1: plea deals for some of these women? given that, as
- 4:45Speaker 1: you can see, they have clearly done some things, probably,
- 4:48Speaker 1: that they shouldn't have? Answer, I don't know the status
- 4:51Speaker 1: of whether that would be legally possible, so I have
- 4:53Speaker 1: no opinion. Question, I think outside the statute of limitations,
- 4:57Speaker 1: they might be able to reinvestigate under the civil rights violations.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Would you be in favor of that, or looking into
- 5:03Speaker 1: any of the co-conspirators that were given plea deals down
- 5:06Speaker 1: to victim status if they're credible evidence that they were
- 5:09Speaker 1: trafficking young girls? And look, I get what Luna's saying here,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and I agree, as you all know. Get rid of
- 5:15Speaker 1: the NPA. But shouldn't she be pushing for people like
- 5:18Speaker 1: Leon Black to face the same kind of criticism? Answer.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I think it should be pursued. Question. Okay, hold on.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I'd like to also show you another EFTA. If the
- 5:28Speaker 1: staff can also pass this to the secretary. It's EFTA 016-56-217.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And this would be Exhibit 16 for the majority. Question. Question.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And I'd also like to reflect on those previous EVFTAs.
- 5:44Speaker 1: The EFTA 00705860, that was actually sent by a woman
- 5:50Speaker 1: by the name of Susan Hamlin. And then the other
- 5:55Speaker 1: EFTA 00878421 was sent by a woman named Nadia, who's
- 5:59Speaker 1: also listed in other files as well. Answer, is this
- 6:03Speaker 1: single pages? Question, yes it is. Answer, oh sorry. Question,
- 6:10Speaker 1: Secretary Clinton. This was actually added in an FBI briefing
- 6:13Speaker 1: document when Epstein was in his New York trial. If
- 6:16Speaker 1: you can look at the top left, the individual photo,
- 6:19Speaker 1: who is that individual? Answer, I can't tell. It's a
- 6:22Speaker 1: small blurry picture. Question, okay, for those who want to
- 6:25Speaker 1: pull up the file, the photo of Jeffrey Epstein, this
- 6:29Speaker 1: is actually a passport that was given. The individual's name
- 6:32Speaker 1: is Marcus Robert Fortinelli. Do you think that this is
- 6:38Speaker 1: a sign or a telltale sign of intelligence operation and pseudonames? Clinton,
- 6:43Speaker 1: I can't speculate, I don't know. Question, okay, victims have
- 6:46Speaker 1: stated to this committee, both Democrats and Republicans, that during
- 6:50Speaker 1: Epstein's time, during his day camp, is what I'll call it,
- 6:54Speaker 1: that he was also in active communication with Bush's CIA director.
- 6:58Speaker 1: They also stated that he had an active ties to Russia, Israel,
- 7:01Speaker 1: and Iran. Given your status, not just as First Lady...
- 7:05Speaker 1: but also in your secretary position. Have you ever been
- 7:08Speaker 1: targeted by any of these countries as means of a
- 7:10Speaker 1: foreign intelligence gathering operation? Are you aware of potential vulnerabilities? Answer, yeah,
- 7:17Speaker 1: I was targeted by Russia in the 2016 campaign. I mean,
- 7:21Speaker 1: I think that's pretty well known. Paulina Luna, and what
- 7:24Speaker 1: about Israel or Iran? Answer, I don't know about either
- 7:28Speaker 1: Israel or Iran. Question, okay, do you believe that Epstein
- 7:31Speaker 1: was running potentially a honeypot operation? With intelligence gathering operations
- 7:35Speaker 1: to collect information on high-profile individuals, both Democrat and Republican,
- 7:40Speaker 1: of the United States, in an effort to sway our
- 7:43Speaker 1: foreign policy, is it possible? Answer. I have no direct knowledge,
- 7:48Speaker 1: but I think it's one of the areas your committee
- 7:50Speaker 1: should investigate. Question. Do you think it's possible? Answer. Well,
- 7:54Speaker 1: I certainly think it's possible. It's a tried and true
- 7:56Speaker 1: technique of certain intelligence agencies. Question. Do you believe that
- 8:00Speaker 1: he was using honeypots in an effort to inaudible? Answer,
- 8:05Speaker 1: I can't speculate. I don't know. Question, okay. And the
- 8:08Speaker 1: topic of transparency, Secretary, were you ever denied access or
- 8:12Speaker 1: did you ever inquire on the topic of UAP or
- 8:15Speaker 1: Gilgamesh in your official personal capacity and why? Answer, I
- 8:19Speaker 1: was never denied access because I never asked for access. Question, okay.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And in the efforts of having a transparent government and
- 8:26Speaker 1: restoring faith within our country, Do you believe that the
- 8:29Speaker 1: American people deserve to access to those topics? Answer, I do.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Subject to any national security implication, I think the information
- 8:37Speaker 1: should be made available. I think that's been ordered, or
- 8:39Speaker 1: at least I read that that's been ordered. Question, and lastly,
- 8:43Speaker 1: before I yield my time, Chairman Comer, do you believe
- 8:46Speaker 1: that you were personally a target of an intelligence gathering operation,
- 8:50Speaker 1: specifically pertaining to Ghislaine Maxwell or Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, I
- 8:54Speaker 1: have no reason to believe that. I don't have any information. Question. Okay.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Thank you, Chairman. I yield my time. Chairman Comer. Thank you.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Representative Fallon. Now we have Pat Fallon, who's a representative
- 9:09Speaker 1: for the Republicans asking the questions. Okay. All right. Good.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I'm Pat Fallon, 4th District of Texas. Clinton. Pat Fallon. Okay. Question.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Native of Massachusetts, but no one would ever vote for
- 9:24Speaker 1: me there. I moved to Texas, so ma'am, I'm a
- 9:26Speaker 1: pretty simple guy. I just want to keep things simple
- 9:29Speaker 1: and just ask you some questions and give you a
- 9:31Speaker 1: chance to respond. So July 25th, an unanimous oversight subcommittee
- 9:37Speaker 1: voted to subpoena yourself and your husband. And on the
- 9:41Speaker 1: 25th of August, Chairman Comer issued a lawful subpoena, which
- 9:44Speaker 1: I would think it's fair to say you didn't cooperate.
- 9:48Speaker 1: There was a lot of delays. It was August. We're
- 9:50Speaker 1: now in February. The deposition was set in December. Then
- 9:53Speaker 1: it was delayed and moved to January. And now we're
- 9:56Speaker 1: here in February. We all get accused of things. The
- 9:59Speaker 1: higher you go up the ladder, the more people are
- 10:01Speaker 1: accused of. If I don't have anything to hide, I'm
- 10:04Speaker 1: eager to come in and testify. I just find that interesting.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Why the delay for six months? Answer. Well, I think
- 10:11Speaker 1: as I've said, we negotiated in good faith. And I
- 10:14Speaker 1: believe the committee negotiated in good faith for a while
- 10:17Speaker 1: because we thought at least I'll speak for myself. that
- 10:19Speaker 1: I could provide whatever information I had, which was not
- 10:23Speaker 1: much in the same form that you accepted it from
- 10:25Speaker 1: former attorneys general and FBI directors who had much more
- 10:29Speaker 1: direct knowledge or could have had much more direct knowledge
- 10:32Speaker 1: about the investigation you were conducting. And I found it
- 10:35Speaker 1: bewildering that I couldn't provide what I knew in writing
- 10:38Speaker 1: under penalty of perjury as others had done. Question okay,
- 10:42Speaker 1: and I'd say better late than never, so I'm glad
- 10:44Speaker 1: you're here. In September of 22... ABC program The View
- 10:49Speaker 1: had you on as a guest, and you were quoted
- 10:51Speaker 1: as saying, no one is above the law. Do you
- 10:54Speaker 1: still agree with that? Answer, I agree with that. Question,
- 10:58Speaker 1: as do I. And I think Senator Clinton, that's why
- 11:00Speaker 1: you're here. Answer, I absolutely agree with that. Question, when
- 11:04Speaker 1: did you first meet Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, I never met
- 11:07Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. Question, you never met? Okay. When did you
- 11:11Speaker 1: first meet Ghislaine Maxwell? Answer, I have no recollection of
- 11:14Speaker 1: when I first met her. Question, so you might have
- 11:17Speaker 1: met her, but you don't remember? Answer, I do not. Question, okay,
- 11:20Speaker 1: so obviously, describe your relationship as pretty much non-existent with
- 11:24Speaker 1: both of them then. Answer, yeah, I had at least
- 11:27Speaker 1: casual acquaintance with her. I had nothing with him. Question, okay,
- 11:31Speaker 1: would you describe your husband's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein as limited, cordial, close? Answer,
- 11:37Speaker 1: limited for a limited period of time with respect to
- 11:40Speaker 1: using his airplane. Question, okay, and how about your husband's
- 11:44Speaker 1: relationship with Ms. Maxwell. Answer, I think they knew each
- 11:48Speaker 1: other for a longer period of time. Question, okay. So
- 11:51Speaker 1: for the record, in 1992, Epstein donated a grand to
- 11:55Speaker 1: your husband's presidential campaign in 93. 10 grand to the
- 11:59Speaker 1: White House, historical association, while you were in the White
- 12:02Speaker 1: House and your husband were. And then he visited the
- 12:05Speaker 1: White House, as I've said, I think ad nauseum 17
- 12:08Speaker 1: times from 93 to 95. And then in 99, a $ 20, 000
- 12:09Speaker 1: donation to the Senate campaign or an affiliate allied campaign.
- 12:17Speaker 1: And then in 2006, $ 25, 000 to the Clinton Foundation. And
- 12:21Speaker 1: then post-Clinton presidency, your husband was on the plane somewhere
- 12:25Speaker 1: in the neighborhood of 26 times, right? Answer, I can't
- 12:29Speaker 1: vouch for everything you're going to say. I can't vouch for. Question,
- 12:32Speaker 1: all right, but you're not disputing it. Answer, no, I'm
- 12:35Speaker 1: not accepting it, but I can't vouch for it. I
- 12:37Speaker 1: can't respond to it. Question, okay, all right, in 2008,
- 12:41Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was convicted of two felony counts, correct? Answer,
- 12:45Speaker 1: were they felonies? I don't recall. Question, they were federal felonies. Yeah. Answer,
- 12:49Speaker 1: were they felonies? Lawyer jumps in, state felonies. Hillary, state felonies. Okay. Fallon,
- 12:55Speaker 1: felonies nonetheless. Okay, so just bear with me on this
- 12:58Speaker 1: because again, give you a chance to respond. Your husband
- 13:02Speaker 1: ran for governor five times. The last time in 1990
- 13:05Speaker 1: or 86, I think he almost got a half a
- 13:08Speaker 1: million votes. In 92, he got 45 million votes, 47
- 13:11Speaker 1: million in 96. When you ran in 2008, you got
- 13:16Speaker 1: nearly 20 million in the primary. And he was governor,
- 13:19Speaker 1: you were senator, secretary of state, he was president. You've
- 13:23Speaker 1: met hundreds of thousands of people, probably, way more than
- 13:26Speaker 1: the average typical person would. And my point here is,
- 13:30Speaker 1: all these millions of people that supported you and your husband,
- 13:33Speaker 1: hundreds of thousands that you met, In 2010, one of
- 13:36Speaker 1: the most significant events of your life is going to
- 13:39Speaker 1: be your daughter's, your only daughter's wedding. You have 500
- 13:42Speaker 1: wedding guests from all reports. That means there's a groom involved,
- 13:46Speaker 1: so you're distilling down to 250. Only 250 people can attend.
- 13:51Speaker 1: And it's your testimony that, how did Ms. Maxwell end
- 13:54Speaker 1: up at the wedding? Clinton, she was a guest at
- 13:56Speaker 1: Ted Way, who was a longtime family friend. Question, so
- 14:00Speaker 1: it was just an odd coincidence that she was at
- 14:02Speaker 1: one of the most Oh, I mean, that's fine. If
- 14:05Speaker 1: that's your testimony, that's your testimony. Clinton, I was not
- 14:09Speaker 1: telling my dates who their guests could, or my guests
- 14:12Speaker 1: who their dates could be. Question, it's just an odd coincidence. Okay, see?
- 14:17Speaker 1: Would you describe your husband as a smart guy? Speaker
- 14:20Speaker 1: 4 jumps in. Excuse me? Are you asking her to
- 14:23Speaker 1: testify about her husband? Pat Fallon, I'm not. Question, because
- 14:27Speaker 1: he's going to be here tomorrow, so you can ask
- 14:29Speaker 1: questions to the witness that are for her. But it
- 14:32Speaker 1: seems to me that you're asking questions that are, require,
- 14:34Speaker 1: an opinion. Fallon. How long have you been married? Can
- 14:38Speaker 1: I ask that? Answer. Oh, I do have an answer
- 14:41Speaker 1: for that. 50 years. Question. He's a pretty smart guy
- 14:44Speaker 1: by all accounts. Would you agree with that? Highly intelligent.
- 14:47Speaker 1: I think he is. I didn't vote for him, but
- 14:49Speaker 1: I think he is. We can agree on that, right?
- 14:52Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think that's controversial, counselor, because everybody
- 14:55Speaker 1: that I've ever met that has met your husband and
- 14:58Speaker 1: has first-hand experience describes him as the smartest guy in
- 15:01Speaker 1: the room. When you're in the room, very smart, scary recall.
- 15:05Speaker 1: If he meets you 20 years later, he remembers what
- 15:08Speaker 1: you wore, what they were saying, which is a great
- 15:11Speaker 1: tool and asset when you're a politician. So this is
- 15:14Speaker 1: great recall. I'm sure it served him well in his
- 15:16Speaker 1: political career. So given, I just find it surprising that
- 15:20Speaker 1: in January 26, he all sent a joint letter from
- 15:22Speaker 1: you and him where you asserted that he, he quote,
- 15:25Speaker 1: didn't recall encountering Mr. Epstein or any specific interactions with
- 15:29Speaker 1: him while in office. Hillary Clinton, that was his recollection. Question, okay,
- 15:33Speaker 1: but even though we established that he was in the
- 15:35Speaker 1: White House, Epstein, I'm talking about 17 times. And there's
- 15:39Speaker 1: a public report that there were personal tours given, not
- 15:42Speaker 1: only in the White House, but even the residence. And
- 15:45Speaker 1: somebody that smart just happened to not remember any of it.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Lawyer jumps in. This witness can answer questions about her
- 15:52Speaker 1: own declaration about what she recalls are new. Again, the
- 15:55Speaker 1: president is going to be here tomorrow. All right, folks,
- 15:58Speaker 1: we're going to wrap up right here. And in the
- 16:00Speaker 1: next episode, we're going to pick up with Pat Fallon
- 16:03Speaker 1: asking questions. All the information that goes with this episode
- 16:06Speaker 1: can be found in the description box.
