- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Luke 6, verses 27 through 28, but I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: Heavenly Father, as I come before you in prayer, I acknowledge that you are the source of all love and grace.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: I thank you for your unending mercy, in producing to walk in relationship with flawed and imperfect people like me.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: Today, I bring before you the challenge of loving those who are different from me, especially in the realm of politics.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_00]: Help me to see others as you see them, as individuals created in your image, with fears, hopes, and insecurities.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: Open my eyes to their worth and value, regardless of their beliefs or political affiliations.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: Lord, forgive me for the times when I have allowed my own beliefs to fuel judgment, bitterness or pride.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: I ask for your forgiveness and for a renewed heart of love and compassion towards those with whom I disagree politically.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: I pray for those who hold different political views, show them your love and grace, and help me to be an instrument of your peace in their lives.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: May I be willing to extend grace and understanding just as you have extended it to me.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: Finally, Lord, I ask for your guidance and wisdom as I navigate this political season.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: Help me to keep my focus on what is truly important.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: Loving you with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loving my neighbors as myself.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: May your unmatched love, transform lives all over the world.
