  episode one through 3 and I gotta say I really liked it.

  I don't the people who are saying that it's trash, that it

  looks horrible, that they really didn't give any real complaints

  like the CGI or it's poorly written.

  They never they didn't say anything like that.

  They just kind of said it was trash.

  There's no way they watch this show.

  There's absolutely no way. It is very solid, Very, very

  solid. You can't watch episode 3 and
• 0:52
  not think that like it has everything.

  It has heart, it has emotion. It the people in the show are

  dropping like flies. Like spoiler warning Stewart

  Clark, he's dead. But it's interesting.

  Eric Andre, he plays Stewart Clark.

  I don't think many people didn't know he was going to be in the
• 1:12
  show, but I think it was confirmed like a week ago.

  But so he's a tech wizard who prefers to go by Rampage, but no

  one else prefers a column to that.

  So whatever. Rampage is actually a character
• 1:24
  from the comics. He once served as tech support
• 1:27
  to the Punisher. So that's kind of that's kind of
• 1:30
  cool, right? What I really liked about the
• 1:33
  show was how many different little Easter eggs they had
• 1:36
  connecting the show to the wider MCU and to the comics too.

  Like when RiRi gives that little glitchy AI Trevor I believe her
• 1:47
  student ID it's 30216 RW. March 2nd 2016 was Riri's first
• 1:55
  appearance in the original comics with Invincible Iron Man
• 1:58
  #7 so that was kind of cool. There's just there are so many
• 2:05
  little things to like and but the show itself was really well
• 2:10
  done. I cannot believe they were just
• 2:13
  sitting on this like another reference.

  We got a Madge Report reference with Slug.

  Also, I think Slug might be my favorite character.

  So there's that. The blood siblings who are seem
• 2:26
  to be inspired by the Blood Brothers from the comics.

  What I do really love is how comic accurate they have made
• 2:37
  the hood as far as powers go. We don't know his origin in the
• 2:44
  MCU. It does seem like a rather dark
• 2:47
  entity did start him, as we saw at the end of episode 3 where
• 2:52
  the dark entity shows him that RiRi actually was responsible
• 2:57
  for the death of John, which is interesting.

  Like Riri's not gonna kill you, she is not a killer, but she
• 3:03
  will not help you. But I think that was more
• 3:06
  Natalie than anything else. But I mean, who can blame the
• 3:10
  two? He was trying to kill her so
• 3:12
  whatever. But like the powers of the hood,
• 3:17
  they come straight out of the com, like with the Hood allowing
• 3:20
  him to turn invisible as long as he holds his breath.

  That was cool. And the curved bullets from his
• 3:27
  twin pistols, very cool. But the only difference in the
• 3:32
  powers, it seems, is that they're only being reliant on
• 3:34
  the hood, not the hood and boots from the comics, which I don't
• 3:37
  care. I like, I don't care.

  There's I'm not trying to look at Anthony Ramos's feet.
• 3:45
  So wearing boots, obviously, but I mean the hood.
• 3:49
  I think the hood's enough. The hood makes sense.

  The Hood is fine, but we know some big reveal with the hood is
• 3:55
  coming, especially with Clown telling Rhode Island, Rhode
• 3:57
  Island that she heard that Parker got his hood by wrestling
• 4:00
  it off a demon. Which is a reference to Hood's
• 4:03
  comic history where Parker did indeed get his magical hood from
• 4:08
  a demon like villain that actually ended up possessing
• 4:12
  him. You may know this villain, you
• 4:14
  may have heard of him. His name is Dormammu.
• 4:16
  It's kind of a big deal in these parts.
• 4:19
  Then. If you haven't heard of him,
• 4:22
  then you didn't watch Doctor Strange, and that's all right
• 4:25
  too. But we keep seeing these
• 4:27
  references to a dark entity, and I'm sure it's not Dormammu, it's
• 4:32
  probably Mephisto. Especially since Sacha Baron
• 4:35
  Cohen is confirmed to be in the show, which we have not seen
• 4:39
  yet. There was that leak that showed
• 4:42
  him as Mephisto allegedly in the show.
• 4:45
  I still until I see it in the show I'm going to say it was
• 4:48
  fake cause I've just been taken for a ride too many times.

  But something interesting to think about.

  Towards the end of episode 2 where Rhode Island, Rhode Island
• 4:56
  is talking to Natalie outside after the heist, there's a
• 4:59
  poster behind Rhode Island, Rhode Island with the name Faust

  on it. Faust is the name of a play
• 5:04
  about a man who sells his soul to the devil.
• 5:06
  What was the devil's name you ask Megan.
• 5:08
  Well, I have an answer for you, Mephistopheles, which mean which
• 5:13
  is long for a Mephisto. So there's still more references
• 5:19
  coming to him. Another thing, while there was
• 5:24
  comic references, I really liked the bigger MCU references.

  One that's not bigger, but I really thought it was really
• 5:32
  funny, was one that Sam Wilson would be so proud of.

  RiRi echoes Sam Wilson when she says his aliens, androids, and
• 5:41
  Wizards line the big three threats in the MCU, according to
• 5:45
  Sam Wilson. I I I just think there has to be
• 5:50
  more than that, my man, but whatever.

  But with all that, there's also so many ties to Iron Man, which
• 5:59
  I think we all knew was going to happen because it's it's
• 6:03
  Ironheart. Like also the fact that they say
• 6:06
  Iron Girl, Iron chick that proves that they've she's never
• 6:11
  said her name anywhere in the MCU yet.
• 6:13
  So she hasn't really given herself the name Ironheart,
• 6:17
  which is all right. I'm interested to see if they
• 6:20
  actually do that in the show. But anyways, back to what I was
• 6:25
  saying, there's so many ties to Tony Stark.
• 6:28
  Like at the right at the beginning, she talks about
• 6:30
  continuing Stark's legacy. And then when she's talking to
• 6:34
  John, she says that Stark did contribute a lot to the
• 6:38
  communities, the tech communities, but she also acts
• 6:43
  like she doesn't like Stark. So I kind of want to know a lot
• 6:46
  of tea there, but they there's a lot of talk about the grant that
• 6:53
  Tony Stark gave it to MIT during Captain America Civil War,
• 6:58
  especially with the professor who wanted to fund his self
• 7:01
  heating hot dog idea, which was I'd like to explore that idea a
• 7:07
  lot. But moving on, like with even
• 7:14
  Natalie, in the comics, Riri's AI was patterned after the brain
• 7:19
  of the man, the myth legend Iron Man, right?
• 7:22
  So when Natalie forms herself and into the AI and says, who
• 7:28
  else would it be? Well, Natalie, it could have
• 7:30
  been Tony Stark. I actually love that it's not
• 7:33
  Tony Stark. I love that it's Natalie because
• 7:35
  this adds such a big, so much depth, such a big dynamic in it
• 7:40
  that I think Reread really needs as a character because she's
• 7:44
  grieving. You saw it, we all saw it.
• 7:47
  She has trauma and this is helping her.
• 7:49
  But while we're talking about Natalie, Rhode Island, Rhode
• 7:54
  Island in her sleep made an AI with a freaking soul.

  Tony Stark could never. Ultron could never.

  Jarvis. Jarvis, who?

  We have Natalie now. Natalie is the only AII care to
• 8:13
  see. Natalie is just phenomenal.

  I I love it. I I love Natalie and I love the
• 8:19
  actress that plays her. I really liked her and This Is
• 8:22
  Us. She's she's so funny in this
• 8:25
  one. When she said how sway I died.
• 8:29
  I'm I'm having so much fun with Natalie.

  It's fantastic. So I guess we can't not talk
• 8:35
  about the big reveal who Joe is. Like this whole time I was like
• 8:41
  Joe is so SUS he is so dweeby what is going on?
• 8:45
  What are we supposed to do with Joe?
• 8:49
  And then turns out RiRi finds the ashes of Obadiah staying in
• 8:54
  Joe's house. The MCU's first ever villain in
• 8:58
  Iron Man? That's bananas.

  Joe took a fake name and kept his past a secret.

  His name is actually Ezekiel Stain, living the majority of
• 9:11
  his life off the grid, which does mirror his comic's journey.

  At least until Ezekiel is ready to get revenge on Tony Stark

  completely taking Iron Man by surprise in the MCU.

  It does look like they want us to want RiRi and Joe to be
• 9:29
  together. I think the show will be just
• 9:31
  fine without any romance whatsoever.
• 9:33
  I'm also not a liker of romance in movies.
• 9:36
  I'm good like I I'm all right. But it does seem like they want
• 9:42
  their they want some little dynamic there, which is fine,
• 9:46
  but it's just like, that's just such a such a weird connection
• 9:50
  there. It's another one, another
• 9:52
  connection to Iron Man, which I thought was really brilliantly
• 9:57
  done. And the fact that Joe, Ezekiel,

  Zeke, whatever you want to call him, he was very aware of what
• 10:05
  killed his dad and he died trying to kill Iron Man.

  It wasn't Iron Man killed my dad.
• 10:12
  Iron Man did this, did that. It was my dad was a killer, My
• 10:15
  dad was a bad guy, and I don't want people to know I'm a son.

  So that was interesting. But also we got a name drop.

  Ezekiel refers to his father as an ironmonger, which is crazy.

  While Obadiah did refer to himself and Tony as ironmongers
• 10:32
  in 2008's Iron Man, this is the first time in like over 15 years
• 10:38
  that the comic's name has been attributed to Obadiah alone.

  And after his wild suit of armor that was created, that's that,
• 10:47
  that's nuts. Just all around.

  That's like, gosh, like the show was just so well done.

  I know there are people who don't like it, who hate it, who
• 10:59
  are review bombing it, and it's like, why?

  Just don't watch it, It doesn't hurt you.

  I like it. It's well done.

  The actors do fantastic. The acting is top tier.

  The writing is really well done. It's so modern.

  It's something I think a lot of us can relate to at least some
• 11:20
  of the characters. I don't see the problem with it.

  I think it's really great. I mean, I mean, it is kind of
• 11:34
  really, really late that Marvel was sitting on this for a while.
• 11:38
  So it's like, is this the last we'll see Rhode Island?
• 11:40
  Rhode Island? Because Dominique Thorne did
• 11:44
  kind of hints, not really hints, but like kind of she didn't deny
• 11:48
  it that she was going to be in one of the Avenger movies.

  She didn't say, no, I won't be there.
• 11:52
  I have no idea. They haven't asked.
• 11:54
  She said, I don't know, maybe. So it's like she didn't say no,
• 11:59
  but at the same time, we've all been Garfielded before.

  So it's like, are we listening to any of these actors anymore?
• 12:06
  I guess pick the day. And I have a different stance on
• 12:09
  it. But anyways, so yeah, I really
• 12:13
  liked it. I I'm happy with everything we
• 12:16
  got. I like seeing Dom, not Dominic
• 12:20
  Thorne. I like seeing Ree Williams go
• 12:23
  through this trauma, growing into her own.
• 12:26
  Also, can I say I love her mom? No one's talking about the mom.
• 12:32
  And the mom is so good. She's been through so much.
• 12:35
  But I died on the inside when she said, can you make one of
• 12:40
  Gary? This poor woman, she's just a
• 12:44
  sad widow. This poor, poor woman.
• 12:47
  Come on, Rhode Island, Rhode Island, just like do one, pull
• 12:50
  up, make one for the team, take one for the team.
• 12:52
  That's the that's the saying good board.
• 12:55
  Take one for the team and make a Gary somehow.

  I don't know. I just want her mom to have
• 13:00
  everything nice in life. She's a good mom.

  So yeah, that's what I think about the first 3 episodes.

  so random, but I'm I'm just having such a busy day.
