- 0:00I believe the Mets are going to give him a significant They're
- 0:02going to have a ton of money to spend.
- 0:04Why not put it in one of the top three offensive players in the
- 0:16league? We're going to be looking at
- 0:17Aaron Judge and saying that he can't win the big game, Michael
- 0:20Jordan said. I played eighteen games.
- 0:23You don't see LeBron doing that a game.

- 2:47where right now in the second round and that's why our next
- 2:50segment is the whip around. Vote whip, whip, whip around.
- 2:59All right, ladies and gentlemen, the whip around and now we're
- 3:03going to get into the whole first round.
- 3:05We're going to talk about how many trades and we just
- 3:08mentioned there were a ton of trades in this in the first
- 3:12round. So you know what's interesting
- 3:14about all the trades that were made and there was back and
- 3:17forth and we expect this because even in the NFL, in the NFL in
- 3:20this year's draft draft, there were a ton of first round trades
- 3:24and there were a ton of second and third and fourth round
- 3:27trades. So you would expect that the NBA
- 3:30and even the NHL, which is coming up on Friday, you're
- 3:32going to see a lot of those too. The Islanders could, I've been
- 3:35hearing stories that the Islanders could actually move up
- 3:38to the top 15 to sneak in there and get themselves another good
- 3:42players, especially if they go with the defensive Schaefer at
- 3:45#1 So there were a lot of trades and there were a lot of
- 3:49questions in this year. And Speedy, what really stood
- 3:52out to you in the first round this year?
- 3:54Yeah. I think a lot of the guards that
- 3:56were drafted, I would say in that seven through, I would say
- 3:5914 range where kind of those were the those were the key
- 4:03prospect outside of the ones the Nets got.
- 4:04I think when you look at fears, we talked about him on Monday
- 4:07going #7 I like the trade that Portland made or Memphis made as
- 4:11well #11 Cedric Howard in that mix of trade to Memphis from the
- 4:16Blazers, a guy that's a good defensive, well-rounded forward
- 4:19if he develops his offensive game could be a nice steal for
- 4:21them as well. I, I think that's one of the
- 4:24ones I think traded up. Miami's was my favorite pick #20
- 4:27the Illinois kid Yakuhonis. That's another one for sounded
- 4:30out. I was surprised he fell as far
- 4:32as he did. He was supposed to be probably
- 4:33like a 12 or 13 range pick and Miami's needed a shooter for a
- 4:36while. I thought they were going to go
- 4:38that direction last year and and I'm going with a big man.
- 4:42One of the ones I will give another credit for is Atlanta,
- 4:45an ASA Noel kid from Georgia too.
- 4:47Very good scoring. One of the big reasons that
- 4:49program was able to turn around this year and make it to the
- 4:51tournament. So those are three trades.
- 4:52I think they're in the middle kind of in that cluster.
- 4:54And as much as the Nets did iffy with some of their other picks,
- 4:57I do like Drake Powell, the kid they got from UNC.
- 4:59How about Will Riley? I lie?
- 5:01I've read a little bit about him.
- 5:02He fell to 21. Some people thought he was
- 5:05middle of the draft type of pick.
- 5:07He fell all the way to 21 and the Washington Witchers land up
- 5:12from Utah. Yeah.
- 5:13He's a weird one because I think some of his skills are
- 5:15definitely interesting. He's kind of a weird body type
- 5:17though he's 6 foot 8, very lean and I think that maybe it
- 5:20doesn't fit his game as well. So he might be a little more of
- 5:23a project. But again, the Wizards, again,
- 5:25he's their third of these draft picks.
- 5:26They also. 8 guard I mean that. A68 guard that's very lean and
- 5:30it's a very, it's a very strange body type, but it could work.
- 5:33We'll see. It's a 6A guard Arrow, but they
- 5:35just traded him for Walter Clayton Junior, they guy
- 5:38they're. Just going to say that they're.
- 5:39Just going to bring that up. Championship that dominated the
- 5:42Final Four was the most outstanding player.
- 5:45And look, he's he just looked like he was some kind of hybrid
- 5:49of Brunson and Halliburton. What he was they were doing in
- 5:52the NBA Finals. He's going to let that guy go.
- 5:55Only 6. 3. Look, I understand he doesn't
- 5:58have 6-8 size like a guy like Riley, but there's the guy,
- 6:03there's only one guy that gets most outstanding player of the
- 6:06guy of the Final Four. That's why we, and this was
- 6:08Walter Clayton Junior. And that's why we brought Utah
- 6:10and that's why I think Utah had the best first round out of any
- 6:14team. They they added Ace Bailey and
- 6:16then Walter Clayton, Walter Clayton Junior who went over
- 6:20there. No fool and Angel is no fool.
- 6:22I wanted to comment on one of the trades you mentioned.
- 6:24Speedy, there is a real, real crazy thing in here on the
- 6:28second one I have is the Derrick Queen for ASA Newell.
- 6:31Now look, I agree, I like Newell as well Speedy, but look at what
- 6:34they have to give up next year. So it's 13 for 23 and the better
- 6:41unprotected pick of either Milwaukee, who doesn't have
- 6:45Damon might have to trade Giannis or New Orleans, who you
- 6:48know is going to be bad. So that that means they're going
- 6:52to have a good possibly lottery pick next year.
- 6:56It's not protected. What if New Orleans?
- 6:59Tanks. This is why I hate the NBA draft
- 7:02because this protected and not non protected type of pick.
- 7:06I don't like it. If you're trading the pick,
- 7:08that's what you're trading. Protected or not?
- 7:10Well. It could be #1 it could be
- 7:12number one overall you're. Trading.
- 7:14Yeah, I understand that. I'll tell you this.
- 7:16I don't. I never understand the Atlanta
- 7:18Hawks. They draft these athletically
- 7:21gifted forwards and centers and they all fall right to the
- 7:25waistline. I I don't know much about this
- 7:27kid Derek Queen, but everybody says.
- 7:29Well, the Hawks get Newell, so they traded them to New Orleans.
- 7:34All right, so he goes to New Orleans.
- 7:35That doesn't matter. They drafted Derek Queen, OK,
- 7:39They drafted this guy. I I've read a little bit about
- 7:42the guy. He had 16 1/2 points and 9
- 7:45rebounds, but and he was a 76 1/2 free throw shooter.
- 7:49But here's the problem with him. Everybody looks at everybody was
- 7:52watching his combine, his vertical leap and all this other
- 7:55stuff. Oh, he's so athletic.
- 7:56That doesn't help you in the NBAII mean who won the slam dunk
- 8:00contest the last three years? A guy that's AG League player, a
- 8:04bona fide G League player. His what is his vertical jump?
- 8:08His leap is what, 53 1/2 inches of some magnitude?
- 8:11I mean, who cares what his vertical leap is?
- 8:14What could he do on a basketball court?
- 8:16Size, Obviously, you can't buy size, but you need that kind of
- 8:20you need that kind of talent. And I've been reading a lot
- 8:23about this guy, Derek Queen. Maybe that's why Atlanta traded
- 8:25him to New Orleans because it didn't make any sense.
- 8:29He's just another prototypical guy that they draft over the
- 8:31years that fall flat on their face.
- 8:33Yeah, they've had trouble with big men too.
- 8:34They've reached on AUSC big man a couple years ago too, that I
- 8:37think went #8 and he hasn't amounted to anything.
- 8:40I think they were thinking of already trading him.
- 8:41So they yeah, they've had trouble.
- 8:43Maybe that's why they had to trade for Porzing.
- 8:44Like Kenny's mentioning in the comments section, they need some
- 8:46level of size to make that kind of thing.
- 8:47Poor Zingis, give me a break. But good luck with good luck
- 8:50with Porzingis saying help help. Interesting you mentioned poor
- 8:54Zingis because before the draft, as you know, there were a flurry
- 8:57of trades there all we haven't had a chance to talk to them,
- 8:59talk about them. So we have them up here as well.
- 9:02And poor Zingis, we might as well start.
- 9:03There was a three team trade to the Hawks again, another place
- 9:09that I guess they didn't need Queen.
- 9:10I'm not a queen fan personally, neither the band queen I liked,
- 9:14but Derek Queen, I don't think he has great athleticism.
- 9:17I think he's like a very, very romance.
- 9:19Version I thought they were reaching when they when they
- 9:22made that move to bring him in and then obviously.
- 9:24People liked him. He hit that buzzer beater in the
- 9:26tournament. I just tried the highlight of
- 9:27it, you know? But like, I just don't see it.
- 9:31You. Do know, you do realize what the
- 9:33Celtics are doing right now? You, you do realize it.
- 9:35I, I don't think anybody is blind to see what's going on.
- 9:39Next year's free agent class is ridiculous.
- 9:41Don Chick could be a free agent next year there.
- 9:44Mikey C believes no matter what, Don Chick is probably leaving
- 9:48the Lakers. And if he leaves the Lakers,
- 9:49there's a very good chance he could go to the Celtics.
- 9:52And he also believes that four years, five years with Cooper
- 9:55Flag becomes available. He always, he grew up a Celtic
- 9:58fan. That's where he's heading.
- 9:59And he believes that he wouldn't be surprised if Don Chick and
- 10:03Flag are playing for the Celtics in the next 4.
- 10:05Years tell Mikey C to go get those new.
- 10:08Regular Harrison, Virginia. Gomez.
- 10:12No, but tell Mikey C that Selena Gomez Oreos are the real deal
- 10:17and he knows where to stick well.
- 10:18He definitely knows where to stick them.
- 10:20But I will say this, you know what the Celtics are doing now?
- 10:24The Celtics are going to play next year with Jalen Brown,
- 10:27who's getting knee surgery as we speak.
- 10:29But we'll be ready for the beginning of the season.
- 10:32Might miss the first few games of the season, but he will be
- 10:35ready for the season. And Derek White, that's all
- 10:37they're going to have. And they have the 6th man of the
- 10:40year. What's his shirt?
- 10:41Yeah, Pritchard. That's it.
- 10:42That's all they have. So they're a borderline playoff
- 10:45team at best. So they might not even make the
- 10:48playoffs. And if Jalen Browns decides to
- 10:50dilly dally all season long and take his time getting back in,
- 10:54you know, getting back to playing basketball, they could
- 10:57miss the playoffs and be a lottery pick and could.
- 10:59And knowing the NBA and what the NBA loves to do, as we seen with
- 11:03the Dallas Mavericks, and being that the Celtics and the Lakers
- 11:07are the NBA's face of their organization, I wouldn't be
- 11:12surprised if the Celtics get a top five pick next year in a
- 11:15class that's absolutely loaded to to, to combine with Jaylen
- 11:19Brown and Jayson Tatum, you. Really think the LeBron James
- 11:22Association would want to reward the Celt.
- 11:24I, I hold on, I I, it took me by surprise because he he said.
- 11:28NBAI had to like I had to, I had to double, double take.
- 11:32Well, it. Is the LJA, but that's what I'd
- 11:33say it is. LeBron does LeBron?
- 11:36Really. Like I'm trying to be nice to do
- 11:37that. I'm trying to be nice tonight.
- 11:39But we all know it's the LJA, so I'm just speaking.
- 11:42I'm speaking the truth here, that's all.
- 11:45I'm. One of Lebron's running buddies
- 11:47who may force his way, we thought, might force his way to
- 11:50the Lakers, decided not to. He resigned three years
- 11:54119,000,000 Kyrie Irving, the flat earther himself, decides to
- 11:58stay in Dallas because guess what?
- 12:00They just got Cooper flag. Of course he's going to stay in
- 12:03Dallas. He gave up on like three extra
- 12:06$1,000,000 on a one year deal to turn into a three-year deal just
- 12:10under 40 million. He was due like for 43 this year
- 12:13so he makes out in the way. I, I also, I also believe that
- 12:17Anthony, Anthony Davis now will stay over there and they got a
- 12:20three guy, they got a threesome right over there.
- 12:22And if Anthony Davis stays healthy, you got probably one of
- 12:26the best young fours in the NBA. You could put Cooper Flake as a
- 12:29three or four. He could play multiple positions
- 12:32and then you have Anthony, Andy Davis, even if he he can't stay
- 12:36healthy, they could play small and move Cooper flag to the
- 12:39five. Who's going to stop Cooper flag
- 12:41out of at the five? And he's quite capable of doing
- 12:44that. So he can play multiple
- 12:47positions. So they're dangerous and Kyrie
- 12:49Irving knows they're going to be dangerous next year.
- 12:51Who's going to Everybody keeps talking about what Houston did.
- 12:55Getting Cooper flag changes everything, changes everything
- 12:59on the Western in the Western Conference now.
- 13:02It does, and you don't have to force him to kind of do
- 13:04everything big right away either.
- 13:05If your big men is able, they're able to stay healthy too.
- 13:08And you could let Flag play his offense the game a lot more.
- 13:11And the fans fleet the move absolutely ridiculous.
- 13:14I I know it's. Not a cheaper.
- 13:16I know, I know. But you, you were thinking about
- 13:19trading them at the trade deadline and now you extend him.
- 13:21Does that make any sense? I mean, seriously.
- 13:23It does. I think it does Errol because
- 13:25when they had him at a much higher cap number, he was a
- 13:29problem for them to deal with and make make additions to their
- 13:32team. At 25,000,000 a year.
- 13:35That's a that's a pretty good contract for a starting guard in
- 13:39this league. I would say that's average money
- 13:42for a guy at this point. I mean NBA is mate doing really
- 13:44well. The cap keeps going up.
- 13:4525,000,000 is money for an average above average starting
- 13:49guard. And that's what Van Vleet is.
- 13:50I don't think he's an All Star, but he's better than average and
- 13:53now he gets to play with Kevin Durant.
- 13:55I'm sure Kevin Durant said keep guys that know how to get me the
- 13:57ball on the team. Van Vleet knows how to do that.
- 13:59So. Trey Dillon Brooks, who doesn't
- 14:01know how to do anything but it's.
- 14:02The game, I was just going to say he knows how to try to
- 14:05Instagram. Well, look at look at a 2026
- 14:09free agent market now. Damian Lillard is probably going
- 14:13to be gone. He's probably going to retire.
- 14:15LeBron James, if he steps away, he's retiring.
- 14:18He got Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant, Trey Young, Luka Doncic,
- 14:22Zach Levine, James Harden, DeAndre Ayton, DE Aaron Fox, CJ
- 14:27McCollum, Chris Middleton, Chris Taps Porzingis, Julius Randall,
- 14:32Isaiah Harnstein, Andrew Wiggins.
- 14:35I mean, this might be the best. This might be the best free
- 14:38agency class the NBA has had in about 10 years.
- 14:42Just think about it. There's still a lot more on that
- 14:45on that list of of players that you have.
- 14:47Jaron Jackson's going to be a free agent.
- 14:49Tobias Harris now friend that Fred Van Leet fleet is not going
- 14:54to be a part of that. Draymond Green, he's probably
- 14:56done. So.
- 14:57I mean, if you look at Terry Rozier, he's going to be Mikhail
- 15:01Bridges. If he doesn't sign with the
- 15:02Knicks this coming offseason, he could be a free agent and on
- 15:07call. Caldwell Pope could be a free
- 15:09agent. Aaron, Aaron Gordon and on and
- 15:12on and on. Marcus Smart.
- 15:14This is a great class next year and I think that's what the
- 15:17Celtics are opening hoping for. If they don't get a top five
- 15:21pick or a lottery pick next year, they could get one or
- 15:24maybe two of these guys to play with Jaylen Brown and and a hurt
- 15:28Jason Tatum. I don't know if Jason Tatum is
- 15:30going to be the same player coming back from an injury like
- 15:32this, but he's still going to be a God damn good player.
- 15:35Yeah, they have a lot of variety they can go after too.
- 15:37Like the Celtics are are pretty position, position list where it
- 15:40comes to the versatility where they could fill a lot of guys in
- 15:42and still be able to make that kind of thing work with that
- 15:45free agent class. So definitely interesting.
- 15:47Again, we'll we'll see if the the LGA is going to manipulate
- 15:50that that much because we really know if LeBron loves the
- 15:52Celtics. But yeah, they definitely have a
- 15:54plan if they're trying to get under the salary cap apron,
- 15:57whatever they call it, that quickly.
- 15:59Just think about it. Just think about that class next
- 16:01year, in 2026, who's going to be available, Teams are going to
- 16:05open. And that's why I don't
- 16:06understand Houston. Why would they give Fred that
- 16:09kind of contract when they could bring in one of these other big
- 16:12names that could be available? Next year, you know, it's, it's
- 16:15interesting though. They were able to get Durant and
- 16:17they had paid these larger contracts.
- 16:20Who did they trade for Durant? Nothing.
- 16:23Who did they give up? No.
- 16:24No. What, what?
- 16:24Who were the players and they? Were all the paid?
- 16:26Players right, Jalen? Green.
- 16:28And those and Dylan Brooks is making like 22 million a year.
- 16:32I like Dylan Brooks, and if I that's a lot for Dylan Brooks.
- 16:35If I were the Knicks, if I were the Knicks, I would do whatever
- 16:38I can to pry him away from Phoenix.
- 16:40I would because I think Dylan Brooks would be a perfect fit
- 16:43with the Knicks. I really do.
- 16:44I don't. Disagree with that.
- 16:45I I like him as a player, but The thing is when you overpay
- 16:50guys, and I think Houston did this intentionally because they
- 16:52had to pay somebody. No one was coming there.
- 16:54They just had all this draft capital.
- 16:56So now you can overpay guys and guess what?
- 16:58Now when you have to try to acquire a star, the contracts
- 17:01match up because you have a couple of guys that make a lot
- 17:04of money that you're not afraid to get rid of.
- 17:07So Van Vleet at 25, if they can upgrade to a real like a top
- 17:10notch point guard, he's very easy to include in the trade
- 17:14because of that big cap figure that he's going to have at 25,
- 17:18you know, at like 37 or 35, whatever was speedy previously
- 17:22under his former contract. That was tough, but at 25, very,
- 17:27very tradable asset for a guy like that.
- 17:30I think it's a smart decision. It's I think it's very like kind
- 17:35of irregular. Everyone's doing different
- 17:37things. Sam Presti obviously has
- 17:38cornered the market on everything in the NBA.
- 17:41But I'm just this. GM is doing really good.
- 17:44I love what OKC did in this year's class.
- 17:47You ready for some draft grades? You want to do some draft
- 17:49grades? Let's do it before we get out of
- 17:50this. Let's do it.
- 17:52All right, so I guess we go alphabetical.
- 17:55We'll go start with the the Hawks, Atlanta A.
- 18:00Yeah, I like, I like their draft.
- 18:02Like I said, with with. I love the trade like you
- 18:04brought it up that. Late, yeah.
- 18:06I would give it a. That trade is crazy.
- 18:08I give it AB plus. They might get the 1st overall
- 18:11pick next year or a lottery pick and you know, the lottery, you
- 18:13never know. It's it's just crazy to give
- 18:16that up for the number 13 overall guy in Queen who I think
- 18:20I don't know if I, I don't like those.
- 18:22Prospects. I'm not crazy about playing for
- 18:24the NBA game. Though smart by them, Boston.
- 18:29Not bad, I'll say B minus. I like what they did when it
- 18:32came to trading Kristaps Porzingis and Drew Holidays, so
- 18:35I'm going to give them an A minus.
- 18:38Give it of AB minus. Yeah, they got some foreign guy.
- 18:42I don't know enough about them. Hugo Gonzalez, speedy center.
- 18:47I again, it looks like they're kind of just punting.
- 18:49I'm going to say BB minus something like that.
- 18:52Brooklyn. Yikes.
- 18:54C minus. Way too many basis.
- 18:56Igor Demin is the big haul at 8, Nolan Treori 19, Drake Powell at
- 19:0222, Ben Stellaf at 26 and Danny Wolf at 27.
- 19:06I like. Powell and Wolf for me.
- 19:07I'm not crazy about the rest. I go D, It's hard for me to
- 19:12understand. I like Demin package.
- 19:15I like Demin too. I like Demin's good.
- 19:17I think Demin's going to be good.
- 19:19He's a tall scoring point guard, you know, point forward like
- 19:23that, That's he plays in the NBA.
- 19:25I'm sure he does. But if you could have got an ace
- 19:27Bailey. I'm getting.
- 19:28Still got in a guy like Wolf at the end of the first rounds.
- 19:32I'm going to give I. Don't know how you don't pull a
- 19:33trigger. I'm going to give him AB minus I
- 19:36I do believe at least two of the four guards or five guards they
- 19:40they put in are going to be half decent and I I do like them dem
- 19:45and I think he's going to be a good player.
- 19:46I really do. And we've seen over the years
- 19:49when when the Nets draft a foreign player, they usually
- 19:54turn out to be pretty good. So I'm going to, I'm going to
- 19:57bet on Damon. I think Damon, his father, he
- 19:59comes from a family of great athletes.
- 20:01I think Damon's going to be a pretty good player and he's a
- 20:04quiet player. He's not one of those flashy
- 20:06players. I think if you go to a New York
- 20:09team, you have to be a quiet player because you don't want to
- 20:11really stand out when it comes to.
- 20:14The public in the media. So I like them and I'm going to
- 20:17give them AB minus all. Right, let's go to Charlotte.
- 20:20Charlotte took Canoople and Mcneely from UConn, former
- 20:25champion as well. And.
- 20:26They just took a scion James in the second round as well just
- 20:28now from Duke as well. They had a good draft.
- 20:31I'll give them an A minus. I'll say you're going a minus.
- 20:36Yeah, I say a minus. I don't think anyone plays
- 20:39defense that they picked. I don't know if they play
- 20:41defense. They need more scoring though,
- 20:42badly. But they they definitely
- 20:44accomplished improving their. Rights.
- 20:46I like Canoopa, all right. I just want to see his game
- 20:48develop. If it develops and you have
- 20:51Lamella Ball on one side and Canoopa on the other, I mean,
- 20:54that could be scary offensively. Now both of them don't play a
- 20:57lick of defense and they're going to have to find a way.
- 20:59And did they trade their center? Didn't they trade them?
- 21:02He went to Phoenix. He.
- 21:03Went to Phoenix so they could have a problem at the center
- 21:05size side of the ball too so I'll give them AB minus.
- 21:10Yeah, I don't get it. Chicago.
- 21:13They took the Frenchman as Sangley.
- 21:18Definitely has some upside still still still a little raw for my
- 21:21liking at 12. I'll get I'll give it AB minus.
- 21:24I think it's fine. I don't think it's great.
- 21:27Yeah, he's athletic, but I, I mean, I've seen highlights but
- 21:30haven't seen enough. But I think there's enough
- 21:33upside, especially with the guys that we've seen coming in from
- 21:36from Spain and all those places. So I'm going to go B.
- 21:40I'm a big lanky dude. Creighton guy, I'm going to go B
- 21:44Lanky dude, I'm going to go B Plus, I do like the kid.
- 21:48The question is with Chicago, and again, I love, I said this
- 21:52again, Donovan is a great coach, but he really hasn't
- 21:56transitioned from college to the NBA.
- 21:58We have to see how these kids are going to develop.
- 22:01He's still there and, and I know the Knicks wanted to interview
- 22:04him and they never gave Chicago never gave him, gave him a
- 22:07chance to interview him. But I, I do believe that he
- 22:10understands how to develop young kids.
- 22:12And he's slowly, we're starting to slowly see some of these
- 22:15young players develop in the G League.
- 22:17And now they're coming, they're getting called up to the NBA
- 22:19and, and Billy Donovan's getting a chance to really put his
- 22:23handprint on the development. So we'll see.
- 22:26I, I, I still believe in Billy Donovan, so I'll give them, I'll
- 22:29give them AB plus. All right, let's move on to, I
- 22:34think, the most obvious one. Dallas Mavericks.
- 22:36That's a plus. Everybody that's an A+.
- 22:38That's yeah, pretty easy. I don't give anybody an A plus I
- 22:42don't give anybody an A+ actually are.
- 22:44Nico Harrison, you were that teacher.
- 22:46Errol, I'm. I'm it's Nico Harrison.
- 22:48It's wrong, it's wrong. I'm going to give one team an A+
- 22:51and that's Utah. I absolutely, I'm giving Utah an
- 22:54A plus for what they did in this year's draft.
- 22:56So they're the only ones. Let's go down the line
- 22:59alphabetically. We've got the Clippers next.
- 23:03LA Clippers. So they got Niederhauser at the
- 23:07end of the draft. Conan Niederhauser, who's Swiss
- 23:12played at Penn State 61173 Wingspan, led the Big 10 in
- 23:17blocks. That's the first Penn State dude
- 23:20ever drafted in the first round. Yeah, I was going to say it's
- 23:22the only new basketball program that emerged 2 years ago.
- 23:25They won a tournament game, they almost won against the Texas
- 23:28team that went to the nearly went to the Final four too.
- 23:30So big part of that, yeah. I don't even know who the kid
- 23:32is. I'll.
- 23:33Give it a beat. I don't know.
- 23:34Any Conan Niederhauser. Never heard of them, never
- 23:37watched them play. I'm reading what other people
- 23:40are grading him. They're grading him AB.
- 23:42I'm going to I'm going to grade him AC plus because I don't know
- 23:45who the hell he is. So.
- 23:46He's a big man with questions about his hands, and he's not,
- 23:49and he's not DID. You watch a play at all this
- 23:51year? I'm going to say there's a
- 23:53reason why we don't get a lot of Penn State bigs in the NBA, and
- 23:56I think it's going to stay that way.
- 23:57Never. Hurt.
- 23:58Only reason, only reason. I saw him because we played
- 24:00against him. We're in the Big 10.
- 24:02Never hurt. I don't know anything about.
- 24:05Him. We haven't had anybody since
- 24:07Mikey Moore. Geez, Mikey.
- 24:10Moore. We did.
- 24:12With Grizzlies coward. B Plus, I really like that pick.
- 24:16I like that trade. I think it's still raw, but I
- 24:19think for that value it's nice. Replaces Bane.
- 24:24And I think the length that he has, I mean he's not super tall,
- 24:26but his wingspan, I think the length that he can give on the
- 24:28perimeter I think will really help and.
- 24:30A lot of people, I'm sorry. Go ahead, Java.
- 24:32No, I just from what I've heard, I've just heard he's an
- 24:34unbelievable kid too. The only thing that the problem
- 24:38with Coward that I I've been reading about and everything
- 24:40that I've read before the draft is the shoulder problems.
- 24:43That's the only thing that I've read about him and why he fell.
- 24:47Some people thought he could have been a top seven pick.
- 24:51He fell to 11 because of that. Now his athletic ability and his
- 24:55ability offensively, it is amazing.
- 24:57And this kid could be an All Star type of player.
- 25:00But the questions is, you know when you hurt your shoulder,
- 25:02especially shooting the ball, that puts a lot of torque on on
- 25:06your shot. You got to change it.
- 25:07Remember one guy and he was the number one pick.
- 25:11Markel's faults remember him. He had shoulder problems, he had
- 25:14shoulder surgery, he went to the NBA and he was an absolute bust
- 25:19if you remember. We didn't see a lot of folks in
- 25:21college. He was hurt even in college.
- 25:22No, but I'm just saying he had shoulder surgery and it.
- 25:25Hurt Coward in college is a 39% three-point shooter.
- 25:28That's fine. So this guy can shoot it.
- 25:30If he gets comes back from the injury and he can shoot it, that
- 25:34is basically the pain. Listen, 6 foot 572 wingspan at 6
- 25:40foot 5. So this is the type of defensive
- 25:43prospect that can shoot 3 and D defense.
- 25:46Man Fish Martells faults was one of the best players in college
- 25:50when he went #1. They didn't even make it to the
- 25:54tournament. It doesn't matter.
- 25:55They. Were like horrible state,
- 25:56Washington state, they last. It doesn't.
- 25:57Matter what I'm saying, he was, he was one of the best players
- 26:00in college and then he goes to the NBA and he couldn't shoot a
- 26:03free throw. He couldn't shoot a shot.
- 26:05How? When was the first time he
- 26:07actually hit a shot? What was it, two seasons?
- 26:09Before bedside, I mean. Seriously.
- 26:11I mean, the fact that they took him instead of Jason Tatum in
- 26:14that draft is still one of the most unbelievable.
- 26:15Well, nobody except yours truly, because I'm a Duke fan.
- 26:19For Jason Tatum I I thought he was not properly the.
- 26:21Best player at the time in that draft.
- 26:23But let's keep going. We go to you said you like this
- 26:26pic, Speedy. The Miami Heat.
- 26:28Yes. Kasparis Yakuchonis.
- 26:30Oh yeah. The Lithuanian.
- 26:33Lithuania Who? Is another guy that's a sharp
- 26:35shooting 3 pretty good vertical as well.
- 26:38I think for an Illinois team that another one that's been a
- 26:40rising program as well and it's actually what Miami needed.
- 26:42They needed shooting for a while.
- 26:44They just overpay a bunch of it. Yeah, I'll say a -.
- 26:49I like that pick for them. They need, they need some
- 26:51shooting. Pat Riley.
- 26:52Pat Riley is a genius. He's a genius.
- 26:55And if there's anybody that's going to get it right and find a
- 26:58guy and fall to him, it's Pat Riley.
- 27:01And, and the fact that he fell the way he did, what was it 21?
- 27:0520 he went, and he was projected probably 12 or 13.
- 27:07He went 20 and he was projected maybe even in the top 10.
- 27:10Some people thought people were very surprised that he fell as
- 27:13far as he did. I'm going to give him an A plus.
- 27:16I mean a not an A plus. I only give 1A.
- 27:18I'm going to give him an A better than.
- 27:20A I'm going to give him at Riley's hair.
- 27:23One of the great greatest hairs hairdos of all time.
- 27:25I'm going to Timberwolves. Took someone named Joan
- 27:28Behringer. He's a center.
- 27:32Got nothing on him. Adriatic League.
- 27:35Yeah, I don't know much about him either, except the little
- 27:37bit I saw in the Olympics. But again, depth for the center
- 27:40position, I'll give it AC plus. I don't know a center named
- 27:46Joan. I'm gonna say D.
- 27:50You don't even know him. You don't even know him.
- 27:53He's from, he's from a foreign country, he's an international
- 27:57player and some of these. Sounds like a spy name like.
- 28:00Some of these, some of these international players, some of
- 28:04these international players really develop.
- 28:06He's got tremendous size. Tremendous.
- 28:08Feminist spy movie. Tremendous length, he's got a
- 28:11good shot. Everything that I've read, he's
- 28:13a flashy player and he's going to be.
- 28:15There's some people compare his shot blocking skills to Rudy
- 28:18Gobert, so I don't. They don't.
- 28:20They already have that guy though.
- 28:21That's fine. We don't know if.
- 28:23They need another, another Rudy Gobert, but they're paying them
- 28:26a gazillion dollars. How do you know they're keeping
- 28:28Rudy Gobert? Maybe they're looking.
- 28:29They traded. So much for them though.
- 28:31They have to keep them. They got rid of talent to do
- 28:33anything. You would look stupid if you got
- 28:35rid of them. Really.
- 28:36I mean they decided to keep him instead of talent.
- 28:38I've seen a lot of teams trade players for a lot of picks and
- 28:41they wind up trading them two years down the road.
- 28:44We've seen this. Before let me call a rod, see
- 28:46what I can do. Go ask the Nets.
- 28:48Go ask. The Nets.
- 28:51It's one of the guys that's a fan of fan of Kenny Show
- 28:53apparently Beatles. All right, it's time to dump on
- 28:56a team. Let's talk about the Pelicans
- 28:59Derek Queen. We already that we already
- 29:01talked about that trade giving up the potential potential
- 29:03unprotected lottery pick next year to go from 23 to 13 via
- 29:08Queen. But they also drafted Jeremiah
- 29:10Fears at 7:00 that a lot of people had much lower.
- 29:14I like this. I like this 76ers draft Broom.
- 29:17He, he's, this is the guy. This guy was one of the best
- 29:21players in the country all season long for Auburn, fell to
- 29:25the second round. I like this.
- 29:26I like this pick. Who is that broom?
- 29:29Broom. This one?
- 29:29Yeah, it's a Philly. When he did the combine, he
- 29:33couldn't do he couldn't even like jump off the ground.
- 29:35It was so bad his combine numbers that they assumed that
- 29:39it he. Was playing hurt.
- 29:39He was playing. He was playing hurt.
- 29:42And he actually just, he just. Doesn't look like like a good
- 29:44athlete, unfortunately for the NBA standards.
- 29:47Well, I hope it does. Well, didn't they say that about
- 29:50Edie? And look how good Edie was this
- 29:51year. Edie's, I was impressed.
- 29:53I was impressed with Edie. I didn't think.
- 29:54Well, hold on. First of all, Edie.
- 29:57Edie was the MVP of college basketball.
- 30:00This guy was right there. He was the he was one of the
- 30:02best players in the country all season long.
- 30:05And you're going to say? Well, this guy for.
- 30:07Two years in a row, actually. Auburn.
- 30:09Auburn's a good school. He plays in one of one of the
- 30:12best divisions. He plays in one of the best
- 30:14divisions in college basketball. How could you say he's?
- 30:17He's a below the rim center who's got who's tall and in the
- 30:21NBAII just don't think you can play that way unless you get a
- 30:25consistent outside shot and I don't think you want that guy
- 30:28calling out being pulled outside offensively or defensively.
- 30:31He's going to be a starter. Buy it.
- 30:32He's going to be a starter for them in the next three years.
- 30:35He's a good player. I like him.
- 30:36I think he'll be starting somewhere in Canada or something
- 30:39like that, but we got to keep going.
- 30:40We're almost done there. Is our guest in yet?
- 30:42No soon get in touch with Nathan.
- 30:45Maybe Nathan can look it up over there in the Trenton.
- 30:48We got the the the defending champs.
- 30:50The Thunder took Thomas Sorber at 15 from Georgetown, another a
- 30:56little. He's a 69 center, but A-76
- 30:59wingspan, very strong player touch at the rim.
- 31:05A lot of people like to pick. Yeah, I did too.
- 31:06I'm gonna say B plus I'm. Say a minus yeah definitely good
- 31:09value trading up in that spot. 69 big guy, 260 something pounds
- 31:13too for again the Georgetown team that nothing around.
- 31:16I don't think I'll ever attack anything Presti does.
- 31:19I really don't. I can't.
- 31:21I think Presti is an absolute juggernaut right now as AGM.
- 31:25Everybody talks about Meyer and what Meyer did for Golden State.
- 31:29Presti is the next Meyer. He's done everything right.
- 31:32Everything he touches turns to gold or platinum or whatever you
- 31:36want to call it. I love it.
- 31:38I love everything they did in the first round.
- 31:40And they didn't just have one pick, they had multiple picks.
- 31:42So I love it. They they, they just really did
- 31:46a great job. I I think that they did.
- 31:50That is like insurance in case they can't keep Hardenstein when
- 31:52the next contracts come up for their young guys.
- 31:54They're not keeping. Them they're not keeping them.
- 31:56No, you know what I mean? Like that 30 million a year now
- 31:59that you can replace it with this young guy, I think it's
- 32:01smart. Orlando took the son of a former
- 32:04player, Jace Richardson goes to the Orlando Magic.
- 32:09Obviously Jason Richardson, long time stud player over there and
- 32:14a couple other teams as well. So you know Michigan State, what
- 32:18do you? Guys think, you think?
- 32:19His eyes will play a factor. Yes, I do.
- 32:21I'm worried about it because he's not a great overall
- 32:23shooter. He's fast, but I think his size
- 32:25is worrisome. I'm even give that AC minus.
- 32:29I don't think he's going to be good.
- 32:30I would say I agree with speeding.
- 32:32I watched him watch him play a couple times, obviously against
- 32:35us. I mean, he's an Energizer Bunny,
- 32:37but it's just, I don't think there's enough there.
- 32:41If he grinds it he can come off the bench first.
- 32:43You know what's crazy about former players?
- 32:46Their sons go to the NBA. They never develop into what
- 32:49their fathers were. I mean, they're very few.
- 32:51Gary Payton Junior has really become a pretty decent player.
- 32:55Scottie Pippen, Scottie Pippen's son, has been a decent player in
- 32:59the NBA, but they're not stars like their fathers.
- 33:01I LeBron, LeBron, E James, we see what he is.
- 33:04So Dwyane Wade's son, everybody thought he was going to be a
- 33:07good player. He's playing in the G League
- 33:09because it's because Dwyane Wade is partial owner of the Utah
- 33:12Jazz. So a lot of these sons really
- 33:15don't develop into anything. Who do you think of?
- 33:18Just real quick, sorry to segue, but what about who do you think
- 33:21of all the superstars that we've had in the NBA whose son has
- 33:24been maybe not to do? I can tell you right now he's
- 33:27playing for Sacramento. Ilgauskas.
- 33:29Sabonis that's that's Sabonis I I think he's been unbelievable.
- 33:35He's been he's not his father yet, but he's transitioning into
- 33:39it. He's a great two way we.
- 33:40Never got to see what his father was.
- 33:42I did over here. He came over here many years
- 33:45after his prime and he was fat and had been had knee surgeries.
- 33:50They say he was like the European Michael Jordan.
- 33:53He was young, he was incredible. But we got to move on to a team
- 33:59that we didn't really think much of coming into the draft.
- 34:02Come away with two centers, Phoenix Suns Mark Williams, they
- 34:06get in the trade with the Hornets and Haman Haman Malak.
- 34:11That's a dude. That's a dude.
- 34:12You like fish? From Duke, get a guy that young
- 34:15and he's able to play it on that stage.
- 34:18He gets experience at a young age.
- 34:20You like his ability to be a switching big like Mitch
- 34:22Robinson was able to do for the Knicks.
- 34:25We talked about it. If Mitchell Robinson had the
- 34:27exposure of a Duke, maybe he would have went as high as Malak
- 34:30went right here. I think at 10, Speedy 10,
- 34:33comfortable at 10, taking him there, Joe.
- 34:36Robinson didn't play college basketball, that's why he was in
- 34:39the 1st. Round exposure, though, it's
- 34:41it's like you see the guy play and you see how important that
- 34:44skill in today's game is to be able to come out from under the
- 34:48basket and play perimeter defense if Mitch, that's so good
- 34:51if. Mitch played college basketball.
- 34:53He was a top ten pick. He's a top ten pick he.
- 34:57Something with Florida State with him or something?
- 34:59As it was SBU right, it was S. MUS.
- 35:01MUS. MUSMU it was it was Larry Brown.
- 35:05It was something going on with Larry Brown and.
- 35:07Yeah, there was a scandal at the time.
- 35:09Yeah. And he fell to the second round.
- 35:11And that's why. Why the Knicks?
- 35:12Larry Brown? Yeah.
- 35:14So the other guy is Williams. We talked about Williams earlier
- 35:17this year because he was the guy that LeBron James, I mean, the
- 35:20Lakers vetoed being traded to them at the trade deadline.
- 35:24They they failed him on a physical, which apparently he
- 35:29was fine. After he failed the physical, he
- 35:31didn't have to sit out, miss any games.
- 35:33He kept playing the rest of the year.
- 35:35I think LeBron got a poster dunk on him or something like 2 games
- 35:38after. I guess he just doesn't like
- 35:40that guy. But now he's over in Phoenix.
- 35:42He's a good young center. Phoenix is doing smart things.
- 35:45I got to give him an A minus, I think.
- 35:46I don't know if it Malak is a difference maker, but it's a
- 35:48smart. How do you not like, first of
- 35:50all, the whole story behind Malak and what he what he did
- 35:54and, and by the way, 17 years old, he started playing
- 35:57basketball. This guy didn't even start
- 36:00playing basketball until later in his career.
- 36:02There was a guy that played for the New York Giants that didn't
- 36:05start playing football until later in his career.
- 36:07And you know how great he became and the story behind it.
- 36:10He comes from such a good family.
- 36:12He's a good kid. Everything we've heard about
- 36:15him, he's he's going to be a special player.
- 36:17I I I think he could really be an all world defensive player in
- 36:21the NBA. He he's a good shot blocker.
- 36:23He's a great rebounder and he really didn't even fully develop
- 36:27in into his NBA body yet. I think it's a great pick by
- 36:31Phoenix. And now you have two big men and
- 36:33you could play big after losing and and now you do you play or
- 36:38do you build your team around Booker or do you move Booker?
- 36:40That's the question. And then you build your team
- 36:42around Green and and start and maybe trade Dylan Brooks.
- 36:46I don't. Know well then, like you said,
- 36:47you can also go big and you don't you're not really counting
- 36:50on him to score because that's that's an asset of his game that
- 36:53he needs to work on. But defensively, he could help
- 36:55now. Yeah, but they said that his
- 36:56offense was a lot better than people are saying that it is.
- 36:59Yeah, he. Got better.
- 37:00He was like a young 18 like when he got there.
- 37:03So you'll see. They're just scratching the
- 37:04surface. Good.
- 37:05Good job by them. I thought they were going to be
- 37:06terrible. Maybe they're not going to be as
- 37:08terrible. Here's someone that might be
- 37:09terrible. Portland Trail Blazers drafted
- 37:11Hanson Yang at 16 in a trade from Memphis.
- 37:16I don't know what that big head scratcher 71 center from China I
- 37:22mean. He was sitting in the stands.
- 37:25Not really explosive. I don't.
- 37:28Not really a great defender. He's a post up player.
- 37:31Again, not really a big part of the NBA.
- 37:34I don't know what they're doing over there.
- 37:36That's a D for me. I I don't know, boys.
- 37:40I'm with you on that. I don't know him.
- 37:42I don't know anything about the, but the Trail Blazers over the
- 37:46last couple of years, they have absolutely bombed on every one
- 37:49of their picks. They had a top three pick.
- 37:51What was it two years ago? And Scoot?
- 37:54Scoot is still AG League. He might not even be an NBA
- 37:57player. Yes.
- 37:58Scoot and then they took Klingon, who, if I'm not
- 38:01mistaken, wasn't bad last year. He was pretty good.
- 38:03Yeah. He's also a center, right.
- 38:05So you just took another center. What are you doing?
- 38:09I I don't get it. With a with a.
- 38:11Guard as you're head coach. Honestly, the NBA draft, and I'm
- 38:14going to say it's a crapshoot. After the top 7 picks, it's a
- 38:17crapshoot. And I'm going to tell you this
- 38:19right now, there's going to be a guy in the late first round and
- 38:23maybe two or three second round picks that are going to be
- 38:26really, really good players. In the NBA, you wouldn't have,
- 38:28you wouldn't have it expected because the NBA is just, it's a
- 38:32crap. Look at the NHL too.
- 38:33If you look at over the last couple of years, yes, you're
- 38:36going to find good players in the first round.
- 38:38You're going to find guys in the 3rd, 4th and 5th round that are
- 38:41going to be stars. The NBA only has two rounds.
- 38:44Hockey Hockey is like that cause the player the players types are
- 38:47a lot. Basketball has been like that
- 38:49too. They've been undrafted players
- 38:51that look at OK C look at look how many players that were
- 38:54undrafted, that were part of their rotation winning a
- 38:58championship. Look how many G League players
- 39:00they had coming, coming to OK C and winning in a championship,
- 39:05and they've got a lot more to go.
- 39:06I think OK C can win multiple championships in the next 78
- 39:11years. So I I disagree.
- 39:13We don't know what these guys are going to be and how they're
- 39:15going to transition as players. All we know is Dylan Harper's
- 39:18going to be good, Ace Bailey's going to be good, and Cooper
- 39:21Flair's going to be great. That's about it.
- 39:24We don't know any other player that's going to really stand
- 39:26out. And I'll tell you this, out of
- 39:28the top ten, I would say 6, six of them are going to be busts. 6
- 39:34of them. No, we'll find out soon enough.
- 39:36I'm sure we got. Edgecombe is going to be a bust.
- 39:40I think I skipped 1II, skipped Philly.
- 39:43Let's talk about Edgecombe for a second because he went third
- 39:45overall. Now his shot was a little better
- 39:48last year. He's like 36% from three, but
- 39:53he's really a better story than in my opinion, than a prospect
- 39:57like obviously came from nothing.
- 39:58His He was there with his mother at the draft.
- 40:01Gave her a big hug, talked about how they came from nothing.
- 40:03You, you root for guys like VJ Edgecombe.
- 40:06I just don't know if I take him third when Ace Bailey's sitting
- 40:09there and there's a whole bunch of and there's a lot people
- 40:12should be trying to get that pick.
- 40:14You could have traded off of that pick.
- 40:15Sixers need quite a lot. I also don't think they
- 40:18necessarily need guard play when they have Matt.
- 40:22I mean, maybe A2 guard, but Maxie and McCain, I don't know.
- 40:28I don't know if I would have went that route, I would have
- 40:29went for the next poll, George. I would have done that.
- 40:32So yeah, I give them. AI give them AB minus I.
- 40:34Would just say I like the player Edgecomb for the fit at the two
- 40:37guard. He might emerge over Jerry
- 40:39McCann. I like Jerry McCann too, but I
- 40:41think he could emerge over him. So I'll give it a beat for that
- 40:43reason. But yeah, you're right, I'm not.
- 40:45Bust I'm not crazy about like the process of it.
- 40:47Bust. He's going to be a bust.
- 40:50That's all. That's all I'm going to say.
- 40:51I I do not like Edgecomb. He doesn't have any offensive
- 40:55game really. He's a great defender.
- 40:57He's one of the best defensive players in this class.
- 40:59He just his offensive game is you.
- 41:01Know who he reminds me of? Errol.
- 41:04It was Michael Kidd. Gilchrist was drafted second
- 41:08overall years and years ago and they thought he was going to
- 41:10develop a shot and he was a great defender.
- 41:13Kentucky, right? Yeah.
- 41:16And. He had one of the worst shots
- 41:19anyone ever had and he couldn't play John.
- 41:21Calipari, as we all know. So all right, let's let's get
- 41:26We're almost there. Sacramento took Nick Clifford, a
- 41:29senior from Colorado. I love it.
- 41:31I love it. 19 points a game. I love it.
- 41:34Almost 10 rebounds a game. 4 1/2 assists.
- 41:37Shot 37 1/2% from. Any senior player.
- 41:40Any senior player, I believe if you play 4 years of college
- 41:45basketball, you're going to be a pretty decent player in the NBAI
- 41:49same thing with college football.
- 41:50I mean college football I If you play a certain amount of time in
- 41:53college football and you develop your skills, you're going to be
- 41:55a pretty decent player. I think the kids going to have a
- 41:57pretty good NBA Grant. He's not going to be a star, but
- 41:59he'll be a good player. Yeah, maybe even I would say
- 42:02this is the one I like for Orlando that I think they should
- 42:04have taken instead. So I like it a lot.
- 42:06I give me an A minus. OK, we got a rapid fire through
- 42:10the rest of them. Obviously we should talk.
- 42:12We talked a lot about Dylan Harper already talked about the
- 42:14Spurs. Their other pick was Carter
- 42:16Bryant at 14 three and D wing type.
- 42:20Classic Spurs pick. Get one of those guys to just
- 42:22hassle everybody while their stars are making moves.
- 42:25They seem to be loaded right now with young talent.
- 42:28I I don't know how Harper fits with Fox.
- 42:30I would imagine that means Fox is not going to.
- 42:32Be long. Term I like Harper.
- 42:37I think that's an AA minus. I'll say a minus just because of
- 42:40the fits. Weird right now.
- 42:41I'll give it an A. I already told you what I
- 42:44thought, so yeah. Yeah, all right.
- 42:46One of the more fun. Jabba, you mentioned this pick
- 42:49in the draft. Toronto took Colin Murray,
- 42:51Boyles AT967 wing, another wing for the Raptors.
- 42:58They have Here's the wings on their team.
- 43:01Grady Dick, RJ Barrett, Scotty Barnes, Brandon Ingram, Oche
- 43:05Agbaji and they're all between 666 and 6-8.
- 43:10Yeah, he when he, when he got up, if you watched him, he was
- 43:14buttoning his suit and he just dropped an F bomb and they
- 43:17slowed it down and you see it because he's like, oh really?
- 43:20I'm going to go to this team that has five of me already.
- 43:23Brutal. The only thing I really stood
- 43:25out to me about Colin Murray Boyles is his girlfriend.
- 43:32You wanted to talk about this one, Earl, so we'll talk the
- 43:35Jazz. She looked good.
- 43:36The Jazz took Ace Bailey and Walter Clayton Junior.
- 43:41I'm going a If you got the most outstanding player in Final Four
- 43:45and the most talented, you know, guy that dropped in the drafts,
- 43:49you get an AA plus, Ace Bailey A plus.
- 43:53Plus. You don't give a pluses, Errol,
- 43:55you just said that. I I told you there was only one
- 43:57team I would this is. One, he said he's only going to
- 43:59give one I'm. Going to give one and Utah is an
- 44:02A + a plus plus. That's what I last team We
- 44:07mentioned Will Riley earlier, but the big pick they had the
- 44:10Wizards was Trey Johnson at six. Great shooting guard, averaged
- 44:1521 points a game. Love what the Wizards did.
- 44:17Love what the Wizards did. I think the Wizards got better.
- 44:20I think the Utah Jazz got better.
- 44:22Obviously The Mavericks got better.
- 44:24Those are the three top teams that I thought won this year's
- 44:28so far first round draft. That's what I.
- 44:30Yeah, I like I like their picks too.
- 44:31Now, Trey Johnson was a little questionable with the character
- 44:33issues, what I heard, but I think it's a good spot for him.
- 44:35Give me AB plus. You can't replace that kind of
- 44:38shooting and athleticism. I'm going to I'm going to a
- 44:41minus. I really like Riley as well.
- 44:44All right, so that's it guys. That's the offseason roundtable.
- 44:47Oh, right. All right.
- 44:49Ladies and gentlemen, before we get our guest in and we go to
- 44:51our sports minute, we have our deuce of the day.
- 44:55The deuce of the day you log. Not a log.
- 44:59I don't have a log but. All right, our deuce of the day
- 45:09goes to Justin Tucker as Justin Tucker gets let go by the
- 45:15Baltimore Ravens. Justin Tucker is now going to be
- 45:19suspended, not one, not 2, not 3, but 10 games next year as he
- 45:27was playing dipsy doodle in the massage parlors.
- 45:30And now, ladies and gentlemen, he's going to be dipping 10
- 45:34games. So the NFL wants to drop the
- 45:37hammer on somebody. They're going to drop the hammer
- 45:39on arguably one of the greatest kickers of all time.
- 45:42So the deuce of the day goes to the one and only Justin Tucker.
- 45:46By the way, the New York Jets. When Justin Tucker becomes
- 45:49available or if he's available right now, if you're any fan,
- 45:53you want to bring in Justin Tucker.
- 45:55I don't care what he does in his private life, as long as he's
- 45:58not doing anything stupid or illegal.
- 46:00I'm bringing in Justin Tucker. He's by far the best kicker
- 46:03we've seen or of all time. I, I, I mean, percentage wise,
- 46:06he's the best kicker we've ever seen.
- 46:08So any team with a weapon of that magnitude, you should be
- 46:11going after him when he becomes available.
- 46:13All right, ladies and gentlemen, we do this every single week.
- 46:16We call this analytics ladies and.
- 46:19Gentlemen. And now it's analytics.
- 46:24I want everybody together to go ahead and say penis, penis,
- 46:28penis, vagina, vagina. And of course, Nathans, not here
- 46:33again. Well.
- 46:36Nathan just is a little afraid of analytics.
- 46:40A quality educational experience.
- 46:43Guys. Welcome back to everyone's
- 46:45favorite game show. It is once again Speedy versus
- 46:48Errol. Nathan backing out of the
- 46:50challenge once again, as he is want to do.
- 46:54But if you haven't watched the game, it's very simple.
- 46:57Each one of them will have a mystery term they have to solve.
- 47:00Whoever solves in the fewest amount of clues is the winner.
- 47:03They do have to use it correctly in a sentence.
- 47:06The sentence is the tiebreaker. There's a catch though.
- 47:09These are analytical terms. So Errol is not exactly the
- 47:14sports analytical guru. He's more of an eye test
- 47:17traditionalist type of fan, right?
- 47:20We know he is. We're fans of this show.
- 47:22We know the type of fan Errol is.
- 47:24It's not the sports MIT nerd guru type.
- 47:28Speedy, on the other hand, does know all these terms.
- 47:31He'll be asking Errol a sports. I'll let you lick my butt.
- 47:36On the other hand, as Errol just demonstrated, speedy is not
- 47:41going to get that term. Speedy is going to get, yeah.
- 47:44Hey Speedy did use threesome earlier Ollie.
- 47:47Ollie Nitin, I farted. Ollie Nitin likes this.
- 47:50Yum Yum. I tried to queue you up for a
- 47:52job for speedy. That time I tried to queue him.
- 47:54Up for a job for Nitin? I have no woody.
- 47:58That's not bad. Either way, Speedy's getting a
- 48:00sexual innuendo. Breaking news, He has to solve
- 48:03it. Woody as no Woody.
- 48:06Also another also another acceptable acceptable 1.
- 48:09Breaking news. Patty Kick.
- 48:13I don't even know what that last one.
- 48:15That was a new one. I didn't.
- 48:16I didn't think that was the news.
- 48:18Yet I think we can do with like 75%.
- 48:21I want to hit it. Not that one.
- 48:25I like that one. All right.
- 48:27Are you boys ready? Carl plays with themselves
- 48:30speedy. Let's get the reveal of the
- 48:33sports analytical term of the night all.
- 48:36Right, so we got football this week.
- 48:38It is adot or a dot. A dot.
- 48:44This is a good one, I know that one without having to look.
- 48:50It up ODOTA. DOTADOTA dot.
- 48:56Something with offense. It is.
- 48:59It is. Yes, it's used in offense.
- 49:00That's not the O, but it is an offensive term.
- 49:07Whereas what you'll have for speedy is an offensive term.
- 49:11I do not know. Very much so.
- 49:13Got it. Don't know.
- 49:15All right, Errol is going to pass on the first one.
- 49:20If I could find what I did with the buzzer here it is.
- 49:23All right, time to flip the script though, and Errol, we
- 49:28need for this wild guess round the reveal of the analytical
- 49:32term you. Ready it is speedy.
- 49:35I don't know, without nipping it might be hard.
- 49:37All right, here it is. Speedy the Muppet.
- 49:41Oh. God.
- 49:42The Muppets. The Muppet.
- 49:50All right, Speedy, you got it. The Muppet.
- 49:54Yep. The concept of having sex while
- 50:04singing freaking Sesame Street tunes.
- 50:22No, no, that's not right, Speedy.
- 50:24It's a great effort. You always give 110%.
- 50:27That's why we care so much and love you.
- 50:29We're going to go back the other direction though.
- 50:31It's time for the first clue for a dot.
- 50:34Yeah. So it's a receiver, receivers
- 50:36and tight ends. I guess you can running backs
- 50:38too technically get it, but more receivers and tight ends.
- 50:41So the IT deals with how long like a catch is type of thing.
- 50:49So a is a term for like just a middle and then T The T is a
- 50:57specific like a Rep for a quarterback AT is that for a
- 51:01wide receiver or a tight end? Not your best clue, but
- 51:07descriptive. And the D, the D we say in
- 51:12sports, like if you have a lot of good players, you have good.
- 51:17That that's. Good D is what he's saying.
- 51:19Good D, good D baby, good D I've got good D depth.
- 51:26So that's that's right. I've got I.
- 51:32Love that's how you got that I've.
- 51:34Got good D I've got good D I've got good D speedy.
- 51:40Congratulations. Groba groba Doo Doo.
- 51:46All right, I need a full guess for this round I.
- 51:49Don't know I got good date all right all.
- 51:52Right. That's you guys.
- 51:54That is wrong I guess, but let's send it back the other way.
- 51:58Let's get our next clue for the for the analytical term Errol.
- 52:05All right, a guy does this to a woman with a part of his upper
- 52:15body. Upper body and it's the Muppet.
- 52:26All. Right, so I guess it has to be
- 52:30his mouth. This is the grossest one that
- 52:33you've ever picked. I think.
- 52:38The Muppet The. Muppet.
- 52:40Yeah, I had. I had to type in more search
- 52:44words than normal to I I never. Heard of this one.
- 52:48I'll be right back. Speed.
- 52:49Take it. Yeah, you might.
- 52:51You might have a good reason to leave for this one.
- 52:54God. All right, I'm going to say I'm
- 52:56going to go with a tongue. I'm going with tongue.
- 53:00Let's say tongue in its upper body.
- 53:05Tongue into God. Java.
- 53:15It's disgusting, The mouth. Of the I know.
- 53:20Yeah, that sounds like a bomb about to destruct.
- 53:22Yeah, that sounds accurate. The mouth or what's it the
- 53:25tongue into, let's say? Is that your blood sugar fish?
- 53:32Yeah, deep. It's the alarm that says the
- 53:34show's gone on too long. Deep, deep, deep, deep.
- 53:39Into the throat. I'll go with I.
- 53:41Don't know deep. It's definitely deep.
- 53:46No, I Errol, you're going to have to give him really good
- 53:49piece of this is very involved. I'm.
- 53:51Going to help him. I'm going to help him.
- 53:54Next one. All right, let's flip it back
- 53:55the other way. We got a dot as the analytical
- 53:58term speed to give him a clue all.
- 54:00Right. So if you're trying to shoot
- 54:02something, you're trying to aim for A that's the T, and then A
- 54:10is not high, not low. Somewhere in between is
- 54:15considered. Not high, not low.
- 54:18Yep. So like another term for middle
- 54:21like something like that is the a.
- 54:27So I got depth. That's good.
- 54:29Yep, Yep, because you've got the good D.
- 54:31So what was the D? So if you're shooting at
- 54:34something, you're aiming for a target target.
- 54:36Yep, that's correct. So you have depth of target.
- 54:42What's the a what? Was that was.
- 54:46So not not high, not low, somewhere in the middle would be
- 54:50considered. It's a pretty good clue.
- 54:55Not high, not low. Dude, don't.
- 55:02Know. We're not low.
- 55:05How low can you go? I could I could give you AI
- 55:11could get you spot on here all. Right.
- 55:13Goody, you want to give the. You wouldn't give the last clue.
- 55:15Why not? Watch All right, but he's.
- 55:18Baseball. Batting.
- 55:23Average. There we go.
- 55:26Goody you wins partially. Errol put it all together.
- 55:32Average, average depth of target.
- 55:36So here's the deal, Errol. You know how this game works.
- 55:38I get two chances on this because I get another round
- 55:41right. No, no, you're winning.
- 55:43You've solved it in two clues. Speedy needs to solve it and
- 55:47have a better tie breaking sentence than the one you're
- 55:50about. He's not getting Muppet.
- 55:52I don't even the hell the Muppet is I.
- 55:54Know I know the only. Thing I know is if I do somehow
- 55:57get it, Nathan will be incorporated into the sentence.
- 56:00If there's anyone who would attempt to do this, it's Nathan.
- 56:05I mean, I have some ideas, but this is absurd.
- 56:10Muppet I. Just don't know if the blow pop
- 56:13will be used. I don't know if it'll be the
- 56:15leash, I don't know just what methodology.
- 56:17Listen upper body, this is all I can get is like muppet.
- 56:24Yeah, we're all going to give you a clue on this one, Speedy.
- 56:27Ready, I think. But Errol's give him his last
- 56:30clue. All right, here it.
- 56:31Is Speedy a man? OK, you got a man.
- 56:36We got it. He uses something of his arm.
- 56:43It's part of his arm, and he sticks it somewhere to lift a
- 56:53woman. And then while he's doing that,
- 57:02he's having some kind of intercourse, doing something
- 57:11else, so. Using.
- 57:14I think that's good. That's good.
- 57:16That's just and we pantomime did pretty well over here at Goody
- 57:20and I, so I think we're good here at Speedy.
- 57:22Speedy, I did a little something extra, Brittany.
- 57:30Love it. The.
- 57:34Muppet Speedy. I'll, I'll just say after you
- 57:37you get into the the Muppet part, you get a little handy.
- 57:41No, no, I I get that you're doing the, you're doing like the
- 57:44puppet concept, like trying to raise it, but I'm just trying to
- 57:47figure out where. Part of the body speedy do that
- 57:49again can you do that again with like this but I.
- 57:51Just what part of the body though?
- 57:55You have to take a pretty strong guy or like a pretty small girl.
- 57:59Yeah, so you're not doing the Muppet I.
- 58:00Didn't I'm not doing any of this.
- 58:03Crap wrist curls. You know you can you can get
- 58:06there you. Got to get it embedded.
- 58:08You got to get it embedded. Yeah, OK.

- 58:16I got the motion I'm trying to figure.
- 58:18Out which body part? Well, you only got 2 places you
- 58:22can really throw it in. I would say it utilizes both
- 58:27orifices. Oh, this is a double muppet.
- 58:35The one I'm reading, No, it's crazy.
- 58:41Are you talking about the puppet master?
- 58:45The puppet master. The puppet give up.
- 58:56I didn't get it. I don't know what this is.
- 58:58If the if the oh if a third party gets involved they are the
- 59:04puppet master job. I didn't click on the second
- 59:07part of it. You are absolutely right.
- 59:09That is cool. So did you read this sentence

- 59:39But you're not that silly. Explain it.
- 59:40Explain it So you're lifting I. Guess it has to be something
- 59:48down low you're lifting. Show everybody how you do it.
- 59:52I don't know how to do it. I'm not going to do it.
- 59:54Just do it with your hand. Do it with your hand.
- 59:56It's. OK, it's clearly the puppet
- 59:58motion. I get that part.

- 1:00:52So what? Pretty damn.
- 1:00:54Close. So what?
- 1:00:55What is the Master of Puppet? What is the puppet?
