- 0:26>> All right guys, well today's lead story
- 0:28is a $10 million dollar win.
- 0:31>> Well, this is exciting for us because as
- 0:33you know, if you watch any of our shows,
- 0:36we enjoy poker.
- 0:37>> We do. We do. World Series of Poker just
- 0:39crowned a new champion, Lucas Jamelone.
- 0:42>> Jamelone Jamelone?
- 0:43>> I think that's correct. I heard him
- 0:45pronouncing his name several times.
- 0:46>> be Jamelone.
- 0:47>> No, no, it's Jamelone. I was I was I was
- 0:49watching it last night. Uh what an
- 0:51interesting finale
- 0:53>> Interesting to say the least. What a
- 0:55quick finale.
- 0:56>> guy
- 0:58got it back to even and then just
- 1:00believe that he was being bluffed and
- 1:02just gave the whole thing away. It was
- 1:03>> Yes, very surprising that he did that.
- 1:06>> Uh but you know, it's hard to to
- 1:08criticize from afar. I mean, who knows
- 1:10what he was seeing.
- 1:11>> Maybe he saw something that we didn't
- 1:12see that he thought
- 1:13>> he was right. He was bluffing. But then
- 1:15he got there.
- 1:15>> But then he got there. Yeah, but he
- 1:16didn't get all in.
- 1:17>> Yeah.
- 1:18>> Had had uh Lauri Lauri Lauri?
- 1:21>> Yeah.
- 1:22>> Had he got all in on the turn, yeah, it
- 1:24would have made more sense. But since he
- 1:25didn't cuz he made a good read on the
- 1:27turn and then he just donked it at the
- 1:29river. So it just makes
- 1:30>> zero sense.
- 1:30>> He thought he was like throwing the hook
- 1:31out there and had his opponent on the
- 1:33hook and
- 1:34meanwhile he he got re-hooked.
- 1:35>> It was bad. Once that uh four spade hit
- 1:37the board, he should have just He should
- 1:39have just got out.
- 1:40>> one of these videos where like someone
- 1:41has a fish and like they're reeling one
- 1:43in and as they're like bringing it out
- 1:44of the water at the like the pier and
- 1:46like a some bigger fish comes and like
- 1:47grabs it? That's pretty much what just
- 1:49happened to this poor guy. Anyway,
- 1:51congratulations. I mean
- 1:52>> He still got [clears throat] $6 million.
- 1:53>> won 10 million, one won six. So
- 1:56uh
- 1:57next May, World Series of poker be back
- 1:58on? We'll be talking about that maybe.
- 2:01You never know.
- 2:02>> Vici
- 2:05and Caesars Entertainment have been
- 2:06floating an idea about bringing the NBA
- 2:09here.
- 2:09>> going for a while, we all know.
- 2:10>> is the fourth or fifth
- 2:11>> Yeah.
- 2:13>> bid. I'm still in favor of the guy who
- 2:15owns
- 2:17the Knights
- 2:17>> Right.
- 2:18>> and T-Mobile, even though in general I'm
- 2:20not a fan of
- 2:21conglomerates and corporate stuff.
- 2:23>> Monopolizing all the sports.
- 2:24>> Yeah. But like in this case, I think
- 2:25that in the interest of
- 2:28gross
- 2:30like
- 2:31people just continue to
- 2:33do more and more here. It's never
- 2:35enough. Do we need another arena?
- 2:37>> But he also knows what he's doing. I
- 2:38mean, he's proven it with the Knights,
- 2:39so. That's why I like that.
- 2:41>> Yeah. So, right, the proposed site's
- 2:43behind the Paris and the Horseshoe and
- 2:46Planet Hollywood.
- 2:47>> Okay.
- 2:47>> Right in the heart of the Strip.
- 2:48>> Right.
- 2:49>> Uh you'll know where this is. It's where
- 2:51the Bottle Bash stadium is right
- 2:52>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Been there. Right
- 2:53across Right across from Ellis Island,
- 2:55which they would love that.
- 2:56>> It'd be good for Ellis Island. I
- 2:59think that this is a terrible location.
- 3:00>> Right.
- 3:01>> you're coming from the highway, you got
- 3:02to get across the street.
- 3:03>> either.
- 3:04>> And you got to get to the other side of
- 3:05the Strip from the highway. There's
- 3:06really no back entrance.
- 3:09>> Yeah. No streets that would need to be
- 3:11widened.
- 3:11>> Yeah, if you're ever coming from the
- 3:12[music] airport connector, you're having
- 3:14to take a whole bunch I just think it's
- 3:16a terrible spot. I like T-Mobile. You
- 3:18got Frank Sinatra access you got right
- 3:20off the highway access you have.
- 3:21>> Yeah.
- 3:22>> I mean, it's just
- 3:22>> Well, it's kind of the same as the
- 3:23Sphere.
- 3:25It's kind of a weird spot, but it's also
- 3:27down away from stuff, too.
- 3:29>> Yeah.
- 3:29>> Spring Mountain is six lanes.
- 3:31>> The Sphere gets a lot of walking
- 3:33traffic. You end up parking at the
- 3:34Venetian and then you walk from there.
- 3:37I don't know. Anyway,
- 3:38>> Yeah, they have no parking at the
- 3:39Sphere.
- 3:39>> I'm I'm actually very curious as this
- 3:40develops because the NBA's coming here.
- 3:43It's not official yet, but it's it's
- 3:44coming.
- 3:45>> Right. Every time one of these comes out
- 3:46though, they end up just squashing it
- 3:47and they either say it's too expensive
- 3:49or it's not at right timing or
- 3:51something. So, we'll see what happens
- 3:52with this. We'll keep an eye on it,
- 3:54though.
- 3:54>> I would put a warm $1 on there's NBA
- 3:56being played here
- 3:58by 2030.
- 3:59>> Within 2030? Oh, yeah, I would say that.
- 4:01>> Yeah. Like
- 4:01>> I would say at least the stadium is
- 4:03being built by 2030.
- 4:04>> that they'll be jumping the first ball.
- 4:06>> and okay.
- 4:07>> Ideal. I think it's going to happen next
- 4:08year. I think it's going to happen next
- 4:09year.
- 4:10>> Hey guys, Red Rock Resorts, guess where
- 4:11we're recording from today?
- 4:13>> Green Valley Ranch.
- 4:14>> Ranch, which is owned by Red Rock
- 4:16Resorts.
- 4:17>> Right.
- 4:17>> RRR. 510 million in future revenue.
- 4:22Their second biggest Q2 ever.
- 4:24>> Yeah.
- 4:25>> continue to grow. I don't Again, we've
- 4:26talked about this over and over again. I
- 4:27don't know where the locals continue to
- 4:29get all the money.
- 4:29>> Right.
- 4:30>> Uh but Red Rock Resorts
- 4:32>> lot of that from us, though. We've We've
- 4:34been very cautious when playing at
- 4:37Station Casinos lately.
- 4:39>> shade to
- 4:40to
- 4:41Green Valley Ranch or Station Casinos.
- 4:42>> not. We just haven't lost a lot here
- 4:44lately.
- 4:44>> haven't been playing here because we
- 4:45don't get
- 4:47the benefit.
- 4:47>> I was just going to leave it at that.
- 4:49>> mean, just and again, nothing I mean,
- 4:50they have a beautiful They're redoing
- 4:51it. It's a beautiful hotel.
- 4:52>> but you don't give us anything, so why
- 4:53would we play here?
- 4:54>> I mean, well, I mean, it's
- 4:56>> Oh, man, Mike.
- 4:58>> It's not. It's It's a fact. So,
- 5:00[laughter]
- 5:01uh
- 5:02Durango Station is their premier
- 5:05property.
- 5:06>> It just continues
- 5:06>> Right.
- 5:07>> to absolutely crush it. I mean, it's
- 5:08They're expanding it. They're adding
- 5:09that extra tower.
- 5:10>> Red Rock has been for years.
- 5:13Uh but Durango's now, yeah.
- 5:15>> Uh 2 385 and $85 million worth of
- 5:18expansions on track to open in the
- 5:20second half of next year.
- 5:22>> Uh
- 5:23>> They're throwing money
- 5:23>> They have a $375 million and $425
- 5:25million capital plan for this year with
- 5:28renovations at Green Valley Ranch and
- 5:29Sunset Station.
- 5:31I have not been over to Sunset Station
- 5:32since they opened up all the new stuff.
- 5:33I've seen videos and pictures of it. It
- 5:35looks beautiful.
- 5:36>> We could go by there next week, if you
- 5:37want.
- 5:37>> bar. It's
- 5:38>> We're right down the street Klondike.
- 5:40>> We were going to go see a movie there.
- 5:42>> Yeah.
- 5:43>> And it's a pretty funny story. Let me
- 5:44tell you about how this went.
- 5:46Mrs. DJ wanted to go see a movie?
- 5:47>> Okay.
- 5:48>> I'm like, okay, let's go see a movie. We
- 5:49don't go see movies very often.
- 5:51>> Right.
- 5:51>> She wants to see it in IMAX. I'm like,
- 5:53you know, you better buy those tickets
- 5:54in advance.
- 5:55>> Right.
- 5:55>> It sells out.
- 5:56>> Yeah.
- 5:56>> Oh, it's a a Wednesday, no one's
- 5:58>> Yeah, [clears throat] no one will be
- 5:58there.
- 5:59>> We go to go to it's all sold out.
- 6:01>> You drove over there?
- 6:01>> No, we didn't go over there. We like
- 6:02booked online. She likes to wait till
- 6:04the last minute to do these things.
- 6:06>> Sure.
- 6:07>> And uh so we didn't see the movie.
- 6:08>> Okay. So you still haven't seen that
- 6:10movie?
- 6:10>> No, still haven't been over there yet
- 6:11either.
- 6:12Uh the Wynn
- 6:15is going to be the first
- 6:17casino in the Middle East.
- 6:19>> Wow.
- 6:20>> And it's on
- 6:21>> It's being built.
- 6:22>> This is actually going to shock Melanie.
- 6:24>> I I'm still I'm still shocked. You know,
- 6:26I
- 6:26>> I mean, you I didn't even think you were
- 6:27allowed to drink
- 6:29>> You're not.
- 6:29>> alcohol.
- 6:29>> It's an island off the coast. It's kind
- 6:32of like Macau.
- 6:33>> going to turn it into a kind of an area
- 6:34where you can drink and gamble.
- 6:35>> Or in Atlantic City.
- 6:36>> Right.
- 6:37>> Where like it's like, ah, you know,
- 6:38we're really against all these things,
- 6:39but we're really for money.
- 6:41>> yeah, we like money. Yeah.
- 6:43>> Uh money tends to to trump morality.
- 6:45>> Did they make this island or was it
- 6:46already there?
- 6:47>> I'm assuming it was already there.
- 6:48>> It wasn't like the the palm tree?
- 6:51>> Well, the well, the palm tree, the only
- 6:52thing that first the first thing that
- 6:53came to mind was the airport in Hong
- 6:54Kong.
- 6:55>> Right. Okay.
- 6:55>> this freaking airport.
- 6:57>> Yeah.
- 6:57>> They made the they made the
- 6:58>> the island.
- 6:59>> Right.
- 6:59>> It's crazy and it's one of the most uh
- 7:01amazing airports I've ever been to in my
- 7:02life. I love that place.
- 7:03>> seen video. I've never been
- 7:04>> Oh, it's an awesome spot. So anyway,
- 7:06this thing's already on track. It's it's
- 7:08uh over budget.
- 7:10>> 5.8 billion.
- 7:11>> Significantly over budget. Hundreds of
- 7:12millions of dollars over budget.
- 7:14>> That's a lot.
- 7:15>> It's it's more than an extravagant
- 7:17hotel.
- 7:17>> it just is absolutely amazing.
- 7:20>> I would love to go see it.
- 7:22>> the Wynn ever wants to have us go out
- 7:24there for a
- 7:24>> Red Rock Resort Resort was 1 billion.
- 7:27The entire resort.
- 7:28>> Yeah.
- 7:29>> So imagine it being almost six Red
- 7:31Rocks.
- 7:32>> Okay, hold on, let me imagine.
- 7:33>> That's insane.
- 7:34>> Yeah, yeah, it seems pretty nice.
- 7:35>> I can't even I can't I I
- 7:38I mean, it would be kind of like that
- 7:39the one you went to that's got the arch
- 7:41that connects the two towers Atlantis?
- 7:44No, the Atlantis one.
- 7:45It'd be like that but even on steroids.
- 7:47>> Yeah, well that was built 30 years ago
- 7:49now whatever.
- 7:50I uh I got got proposed
- 7:53engaged I got engaged.
- 7:54>> You got proposed to there?
- 7:56Oh, you got engaged there okay.
- 7:57>> At that at that place so.
- 7:59Anyway, the Wynn 5.8 billion dollar
- 8:01Middle East resort opens next year.
- 8:02>> Maybe uh when they open that they'll fly
- 8:04us out there to
- 8:05>> That's what I was just saying maybe
- 8:06they'd be interested in having us
- 8:07>> That would be awesome.
- 8:08>> If anybody from the Wynn's listening
- 8:09>> Yeah.
- 8:10>> Yeah, Steve you got my number?
- 8:11>> You know Steve
- 8:12>> Give us a call. Yeah,
- 8:14uh Hard Rock guitar
- 8:16It's getting there guys.
- 8:17>> It is it looks pretty gold.
- 8:18>> from the Rio parking garage or not every
- 8:19day but every day around at the Rio
- 8:21parking garage.
- 8:22And uh it's starting to get its
- 8:25its frets and strings.
- 8:26>> It looks really cool.
- 8:27>> You're going to be able to play it soon
- 8:29and it's starting to really take shape
- 8:30with the glasses going in you can see
- 8:32the blue glass and the Mirage old Mirage
- 8:35tower all the gold gold glass has been
- 8:36stripped away.
- 8:37>> Right.
- 8:37>> This thing's on track still for a late
- 8:392027 opening.
- 8:41>> I'm surprised that this says it's
- 8:42roughly 4 billion.
- 8:454 billion.
- 8:45>> Right. And it cost
- 8:47>> What was it?
- 8:49The teardown of the other stuff and all
- 8:50that maybe that
- 8:51>> Yeah, so the total
- 8:52>> double.
- 8:53>> Yeah, the total cost
- 8:53>> Cuz it seems like they could have got
- 8:54that done for cheaper than 4 billion if
- 8:57uh
- 8:57this one over in
- 8:59in
- 9:00>> Dubai?
- 9:00>> Dubai or yeah UAE or whatever is uh I
- 9:03don't know what Macau what does this uh
- 9:05>> What does it say here? UAE
- 9:07>> It's actually Arab yeah.
- 9:08>> UAE United Arab Emirates.
- 9:10>> Right so if it's
- 9:125.8 I would think that it would be
- 9:15so much more incredible than the Hard
- 9:17Rock's guitar.
- 9:18>> Now where do you where do you think is
- 9:20warmer?
- 9:22Here right now or Dubai? Or is it
- 9:24>> Cuz like
- 9:25>> I don't know we'd have to look that up.
- 9:26>> impressive man it's 115° here in Vegas.
- 9:29>> Yeah.
- 9:29>> My feet were like the shoes the soles of
- 9:32my feet were like melting.
- 9:33>> Sticking to the
- 9:33>> I think I got a heatstroke on the car on
- 9:35the way over there.
- 9:35>> To the asphalt?
- 9:36>> It is it is warm.
- 9:38It is no joke. Even for someone who
- 9:39likes the warm, it's
- 9:40>> Right.
- 9:41>> It's warm, but I still rather be this
- 9:42high
- 9:44than 30° cold.
- 9:45>> Yeah.
- 9:45>> So, that's just the bottom line. I'm I'm
- 9:46much happier with this.
- 9:47>> Air conditioner can't even keep up in
- 9:49the car.
- 9:49>> So, the uh the word on the street, this
- 9:51is not [clears throat]
- 9:53100% confirmed as much as it it was
- 9:55reported that they're starting to
- 9:58predict or
- 9:59book some of the entertainment
- 10:02venues and and things that are going to
- 10:03be at Hard Rock. And supposedly there's
- 10:06going to be like this virtual Elton John
- 10:07show there.
- 10:08>> Like the Michael Jackson thing?
- 10:10>> Yeah, the whole the whole thing would be
- 10:11like that.
- 10:12>> He won't be there.
- 10:13It'll just be
- 10:14>> I don't think so. He's already done his
- 10:15Vegas thing. He's
- 10:16>> Okay.
- 10:16>> the red piano like something
- 10:17>> if he'd be there for like the opening
- 10:19night or something.
- 10:20>> That would be cool.
- 10:21>> and Ringo were at the the opening of
- 10:23love that
- 10:24>> Right. That would be really cool.
- 10:26>> Yeah.
- 10:27>> So,
- 10:29will they pay big bucks for a virtual
- 10:31headliner? Remains to be seen. I want to
- 10:33go see it. I'm already interested.
- 10:34>> Right.
- 10:34>> I think that's going to be at this
- 10:35place. I want to go check it out. It's
- 10:36going to be the new hot new thing.
- 10:39>> Well, the Michael Jackson thing was
- 10:40pretty amazing to see it at [music]
- 10:41least once, so maybe we can
- 10:43>> at the very end of the show. It's uh you
- 10:45should go see it. It's it's at Mandalay
- 10:46Bay.
- 10:47>> Yeah, Mandalay Bay.
- 10:47>> It's really neat. I mean, the whole show
- 10:49is great then at the very end you're
- 10:50like, "Oh, wow."
- 10:50>> Wow, where did he just come from? Yeah.
- 10:52>> Yeah, [music] it's uh like Michael's
- 10:53back.
- 10:54>> yeah. It's very cool.
- 10:54>> back?
- 10:56Michael is back.
- 10:57No.
- 10:59>> He tried.
- 10:59>> Don't do it. Okay.
- 11:01I yeah, I try. What are you going to do,
- 11:02folks? XS, a place that I've been once.
- 11:05>> Once.
- 11:06Yeah, it was it was uh
- 11:09a sight to see,
- 11:11I would say.
- 11:12A lot goes on there at night.
- 11:14>> want to go see the Chainsmokers there. I
- 11:15don't have enough friends like like we
- 11:16got to get a booth.
- 11:17>> Yeah.
- 11:18>> And it's like 10 people. I don't have
- 11:19that kind of I want to go do it.
- 11:21>> So expensive.
- 11:22>> Anyway, XS and my first show was
- 11:24headliner like, "Holy crap." Like I
- 11:25almost like fell out of my chair cuz I I
- 11:27did. I thought that was close.
- 11:29Just remodel.
- 11:29>> Just remodel, which they just re-
- 11:31They're just reallocating funds. That's
- 11:34how you get around a bunch of taxes in
- 11:36this city. You just keep on building
- 11:38onto your property and then write off
- 11:40all that money. That's It happens every
- 11:42day, every month, every week, every
- 11:44year, every Yeah, that's how they do it.
- 11:46>> I'm actually curious to see what they're
- 11:48going to do with the place.
- 11:49I probably will go
- 11:51>> Check it out.
- 11:52>> Just to see if when it opens, cuz
- 11:54you look at what they did with
- 11:55Oh man, the the one over at Caesars.
- 11:58>> I think uh
- 11:58>> Ohmia?
- 11:59>> Yeah.
- 11:59>> Ohmia. Like the holy crap, dude. If it's
- 12:01going to be this
- 12:02Guys, even if you're like our age and
- 12:05you don't go to these things anymore,
- 12:06get some like headphones that you like
- 12:08put over your like your child's ears
- 12:09when you're going to do do the Go over
- 12:11this Ohmia thing. It has like the whole
- 12:13ceiling comes out and you know,
- 12:16like tilts and there's like lasers and
- 12:17lights everywhere.
- 12:18>> yeah.
- 12:19>> there for a friend's 40th birthday. So
- 12:20like he was like almost like too old.
- 12:22He's like I'm going
- 12:24>> My last last hurrah.
- 12:26>> And then he invited me. I'm like, I'm
- 12:2750.
- 12:28>> [laughter]
- 12:29>> Long as you have a booth to sit in or a
- 12:30table, bottle service, I don't care.
- 12:33I'll go.
- 12:33>> We had He got all that. He had that.
- 12:35>> Yeah, I would go.
- 12:35>> I had the best ear plugs that you can
- 12:38get.
- 12:39>> Right. And you still believe you're
- 12:40there.
- 12:41>> I cannot believe how loud it was. I
- 12:43don't understand what
- 12:45I can understand I love loud music and I
- 12:47can understand like
- 12:48having loud music, but this is on a
- 12:50level I mean, it was it was ridiculous.
- 12:52Like you can't communicate with anybody
- 12:54like
- 12:54>> No, that's the part I don't like.
- 12:56I don't like that part.
- 12:57>> My throat was like done by the end of my
- 12:58my my ears rang for 2 days afterwards.
- 13:00>> Right.
- 13:02>> I don't get it. It's a great place.
- 13:03>> time of your life.
- 13:04>> No, I didn't. I had a good time. I
- 13:06actually did have a good time. I had to
- 13:07be a assistant. Only about I needed some
- 13:10assistance till I get to a point where I
- 13:12could have a good time in that
- 13:13environment, but but I did.
- 13:15>> Right.
- 13:16>> And uh yeah. Anyway, so
- 13:19the most interesting story of the week,
- 13:21at least for me, yeah.
- 13:21>> Okay.
- 13:22>> I
- 13:22>> You had no idea.
- 13:23>> I didn't know.
- 13:24>> I had no idea, either.
- 13:25>> So, Circa is adding two more floors of
- 13:27hotel rooms, 49 rooms.
- 13:29>> what what are on those floors?
- 13:31>> Oh, well, that's what I asked. Cuz I'm
- 13:32like
- 13:33I I
- 13:34What do you mean you're adding two more?
- 13:35Are they building? Are they going to add
- 13:37two more? Are they adding scaffolding to
- 13:38the top of it and they're going to build
- 13:39two more floors? No.
- 13:40>> Here's the thing that's interesting.
- 13:42When they built the Circa, the top six
- 13:43floors were just a shell.
- 13:45>> Okay.
- 13:46>> So, from the outside it looked like this
- 13:48>> Like it was
- 13:48>> 20-story building or whatever.
- 13:50>> Whatever, yeah. Yeah.
- 13:50>> But the top
- 13:52six floors were not being utilized at
- 13:53all. They were just
- 13:54>> So, they're taking They're adding two
- 13:56more.
- 13:57>> So, they're And then in a couple years
- 13:58they'll add another
- 13:58>> Well, no, in 2024 they did four of the
- 14:00floors.
- 14:01>> Oh, they did already? Okay.
- 14:02>> then now they're doing the last two
- 14:04floors. So, they're going to finish it.
- 14:05It's 49 more rooms, which doesn't seem
- 14:07like a lot of rooms.
- 14:08>> No, but
- 14:08>> It's 25 rooms each of four.
- 14:10>> Right.
- 14:11>> Like one floor has more one more
- 14:12>> But if you're selling them out or if
- 14:13they're suites and they're a couple
- 14:14hundred a night
- 14:15>> I think these are going to be nice
- 14:16>> Yeah.
- 14:16>> nice rooms.
- 14:17>> That would be nice.
- 14:18>> I find this to be staggeringly
- 14:21interesting.
- 14:21>> Right.
- 14:22>> I don't know. Like how many more hotels
- 14:24have like
- 14:25>> Like just floors that aren't done.
- 14:27>> half the Wynn or Encore.
- 14:29>> Right. It's interesting.
- 14:30>> Just empty? Like it just just steel and
- 14:33>> Right. I I find it very interesting
- 14:35myself.
- 14:35>> And it says it's a a shell. I'm assuming
- 14:37they had like poured the concrete for
- 14:38the floor.
- 14:38>> Well, they had to. And the building is
- 14:40there.
- 14:40>> Otherwise the whole thing would have
- 14:41fallen down. So
- 14:41>> Yeah.
- 14:43>> Yeah, I don't know. I mean, like it just
- 14:44seems interesting. So, it's like a
- 14:45>> a a shell of a floor.
- 14:46>> It's like it's a hedge. It's like, okay,
- 14:47well, is this going to Is this going to
- 14:48do well as well as well as we think?
- 14:50Okay.
- 14:50>> spend all the money on the on the
- 14:52mattresses and TVs? Or should we wait a
- 14:54few years and see if we make money?
- 14:56>> You're right.
- 14:57>> Okay.
- 14:57>> I thought that it's interesting. So,
- 14:59anyway, that's that's happening.
- 15:00>> Right.
- 15:00>> And those are supposed to open next
- 15:02year.
- 15:02Uh Sam's Town is debuting a new bar and
- 15:04grill.
- 15:05>> You know I'll go check that out.
- 15:07>> Yeah. It's a Boyd Gaming Sam's Town.
- 15:09>> Highway.
- 15:11>> Yeah. STG Bar and Grill.
- 15:13>> Okay.
- 15:13>> Along with the renovated sports book.
- 15:15Opened on August 5th.
- 15:17>> Let's go check that out.
- 15:18>> Yeah. We say we're going to do this
- 15:19stuff, but we never do.
- 15:20>> I I I'm down for it.
- 15:21>> I know we're down for it.
- 15:22>> I'm always good for a sports bar and
- 15:23some beers.
- 15:24>> the Rio is like you got to come play
- 15:25over here and then
- 15:26>> True.
- 15:27>> And then Planet 1st of all about some
- 15:28free play to come over here.
- 15:29>> Okay.
- 15:29>> And then
- 15:30>> Well, we don't have to play. We can just
- 15:31go eat and have a beer.
- 15:32>> nice slot tournament at at MGM.
- 15:34>> Right.
- 15:35>> And then the next thing you know, it's
- 15:36it's Wednesday again and it's our day
- 15:37off. Are we going to go there on our day
- 15:38off?
- 15:38>> No. No, I'm not. I'm going to I'm going
- 15:40to handle all the honey-do list.
- 15:42>> Okay.
- 15:43Honey-do this. Honey-do that.
- 15:44>> Yeah, I got a lot on there.
- 15:45>> Okay. Today's project is
- 15:47>> Yeah.
- 15:48>> Keep the backyard from flooding.
- 15:49>> Fix fix the sprinkler system.
- 15:50>> I'm wondering how bad if it's a flood or
- 15:51if it's just
- 15:52>> Drip system. I don't know.
- 15:53>> It sounds like it's probably blowing
- 15:54out.
- 15:54>> Not looking forward to it. So.
- 15:56>> Ryan has to go home and do grown-up
- 15:57things now. But here's one of the story
- 15:59left. You want to talk about this last
- 16:00thing?
- 16:01>> One of my favorite shows that I've ever
- 16:02seen in this town for
- 16:04for minimal crowd. Like going to the
- 16:07Sphere obviously is my favorite thing to
- 16:08to do here.
- 16:09>> I love the show. I just saw it again
- 16:11recently. Uh my one of my old e-commerce
- 16:14groups uh invited me and my wife to go
- 16:16>> Right.
- 16:17>> see Absinthe and then go to the
- 16:18Bacchanal Buffet.
- 16:19>> And it's not going away. They're just
- 16:20rebuilding the tent.
- 16:22>> another like heartbreak moment for just
- 16:23a second when I saw it was going dark.
- 16:26>> For a couple weeks.
- 16:26>> Just a couple weeks. It's not that long.
- 16:28And so now I got to go see it again
- 16:30because they're going to remodel the
- 16:31whole
- 16:32tent and redo the show.
- 16:34>> That sounds like it's going to be
- 16:35awesome because I love the show.
- 16:36>> last time that we went
- 16:38they had put in this new act.
- 16:40>> Okay.
- 16:40>> If you could think about like
- 16:43uh
- 16:43a stick, a pogo stick that you could
- 16:46like
- 16:47>> Like a piece of bamboo.
- 16:48>> back and forth like this.
- 16:49>> Right.
- 16:49>> The human being was on the top of this
- 16:51thing.
- 16:51>> And it was a and they would come down
- 16:53and go
- 16:54>> All the way to the crowd.
- 16:55>> They were coming down like touching the
- 16:56like they would reach down and like
- 16:57touch the top of people's heads.
- 16:58>> Right.
- 16:59>> They were so close. And
- 17:00What a wild effect. [laughter] I can't
- 17:02explain it. I mean it was the most
- 17:03>> It's a very intimate
- 17:04>> Oh man, it was so freaking
- 17:06>> 200 seats maybe in that whole place?
- 17:08250?
- 17:10>> It's probably
- 17:11like 500.
- 17:11>> It's not a lot.
- 17:12>> It's probably I would I would say
- 17:14>> Maybe maybe 500? Maybe?
- 17:16>> Okay.
- 17:17>> You think up like a in
- 17:19you know, 50 per section and it's
- 17:20there's got to be 10 sections. I mean,
- 17:21it
- 17:22it's not big, but it's probably more
- 17:23than 200.
- 17:24>> We'll find out. We'll throw that number
- 17:26up on the screen.
- 17:26>> be that. Yeah, well, you will figure
- 17:27that out. So, anyway, it's just a
- 17:29refresh, guys. I would highly recommend
- 17:31if you haven't seen this show, I put
- 17:32this in the top three things to do in
- 17:34Las Vegas, personally.
- 17:35>> not be sensitive [music]
- 17:36to curse words.
- 17:37>> if you've got a curse word problem
- 17:39>> you don't like cursing, don't go.
- 17:41>> Sexual Indian
- 17:42>> Right. Indian those?
- 17:43>> Indian window.
- 17:44>> Yeah, you don't want that.
- 17:45>> That was almost a tongue twister. No pun
- 17:47intended.
- 17:47>> If you don't like that kind of stuff,
- 17:50stick to a different show.
- 17:51>> There's this this girl that comes up
- 17:53there that does this stick that's so
- 17:56good.
- 17:56>> Yeah.
- 17:57But uh you have to be able to handle
- 17:59that.
- 17:59>> She's kind of like does this Ellen
- 18:01DeGeneres thing a little bit cuz Ellen
- 18:02kind of
- 18:03>> [music]
- 18:03>> does this stuttering thing where
- 18:06>> Okay.
- 18:07>> She kind of you know, and she kind of
- 18:08you know, Ellen, you know, just in
- 18:09Ellen's show like I mean, I don't really
- 18:10watch a lot of Ellen or anything, but
- 18:12>> Right.
- 18:12>> it's always been So, this girl
- 18:14uh Absinthe does a similar kind of
- 18:16thing. She just keeps on going back to
- 18:18the same thing.
- 18:19>> Right.
- 18:19>> But with this kind of not a stutter, but
- 18:22it it's really good.
- 18:23And she just goes on and on and
- 18:25>> explanation of how it happens, but okay.
- 18:27>> I do my best to do the worst explanation
- 18:30possible.
- 18:31>> That was really bad.
- 18:32>> If I give the whole thing away, what
- 18:33will people out there
- 18:34and DJ Nation do?
- 18:36>> do not
- 18:36>> they're like, "What the heck is he
- 18:37talking about? We got to go see how bad
- 18:40that was."
- 18:41And and they'll know soon because of our
- 18:43recommendations.
- 18:44>> True.
- 18:44>> And this show was not sponsored by
- 18:46Absinthe.
- 18:46>> maybe Absinthe will actually send us
- 18:48some tickets.
- 18:48>> Maybe. One can dream. That's about it,
- 18:51folks. Hey, it was actually a pretty
- 18:53strong one.
- 18:54>> Yes.
- 18:54>> Whatever news we got, a lot of
- 18:55interesting stuff.
- 18:56>> Yeah.
- 18:57>> And and if you didn't watch this show,
- 18:58where else would you get your Las Vegas
- 19:00news?
- 19:00>> That's right.
- 19:02Well,
- 19:03stay lucky.
- 19:04>> Stay lucky, folks.
- 19:04>> Come back and see us next week.
- 19:06>> Be good, everybody. Have a good day.
