Why? Luna: Oh. Because he is just writing. Not necessarily right now? Lucas: Or maybe he is known for writing letters generally. But let us stick to the pattern we learned. Luna: Okay. So: He is currently writing a letter. Lucas: Dia sedang menulis surat. Luna: Dia sedang menulis surat. Lucas: Dia means he or she. Sedang is the current marker. Luna: Menulis is write. Surat is letter. Lucas: Correct. Surat. Can you repeat that? Luna: Surat. S-u-r-a-t. Surat. Lucas: Good. Menulis. Surat. Luna: Menulis surat. Writing a letter. Lucas: Let us combine them.
