- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Melancamp and camera Judge. Hi, guys,
- 0:12Speaker 1: welcome to Two Teas in a Pod with myself, Teddy
- 0:15Speaker 1: Mellencamp and camera judge. And before we even get started,
- 0:19Speaker 1: we have to give a special shout out to win
- 0:22Speaker 1: Las Vegas because not only is John Mellencamp playing tonight,
- 0:25Speaker 1: coming up, there's Jay Leno, Brad Paisley, John Mulaney, Ali Wong,
- 0:31Speaker 1: Like this place is popping odd is off the top
- 0:34Speaker 1: and even looking outside right now where we are we're
- 0:38Speaker 1: doing the podcasts at the Whin. It's one of the
- 0:42Speaker 1: biggest picture I've ever seen on myself, so famous in
- 0:45Speaker 1: my entire life. But I mean it's not saying much
- 0:48Speaker 1: for us because okay, you fucka duck. Fuc a duck.
- 0:51Speaker 1: But now it's going to be an explicit podcast. But
- 0:54Speaker 1: in more exciting news, we have a very special guest,
- 0:58Speaker 1: very special to my heart because I've had an up
- 1:02Speaker 1: and down friendship with her. But I'm gonna say this,
- 1:05Speaker 1: when we what are you gonna say? I know, just
- 1:07Speaker 1: don't try to, you know, fix the situation, to fix
- 1:09Speaker 1: the situation. But when Tama first started the podcast, she
- 1:13Speaker 1: had one she had one real Housewives of Orange County
- 1:16Speaker 1: that she was not a fan of, and I was.
- 1:19Speaker 1: But let me just let me just back up, Let
- 1:22Speaker 1: me back this bitch up. Did I not watch this
- 1:27Speaker 1: particular housewife and say how to fucking like her? She
- 1:31Speaker 1: did a change by the end of as if Viewer.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I watched her and said, she's a star, yest star.
- 1:40Speaker 1: But when we started, we went through a hole. I
- 1:42Speaker 1: feel like I even sent a message to Andy Cohen
- 1:45Speaker 1: and I said, oh my god, she's amazing. She's doing
- 1:48Speaker 1: a great job, even more than the Andy Cohen thing was.
- 1:50Speaker 1: She sent a message to me and apologized and said, Teddy,
- 1:53Speaker 1: you were right. Yeah I did. I did. Emily Simpson,
- 1:57Speaker 1: and that is driving has today. Yeah, thank you guys
- 2:01Speaker 1: for having me. Well, thank you for being here. We
- 2:04Speaker 1: really appreciate. I love you and I love Vegas. Well
- 2:07Speaker 1: that was a no brainer. Okay, do you love Vegas
- 2:08Speaker 1: more than you love me? I do? Okay, okay, okay,
- 2:11Speaker 1: Well there's the honest. Yeah, Well, why we're even talking
- 2:15Speaker 1: about love? I feel like we just need to dig
- 2:16Speaker 1: right into it because I do remember when we started
- 2:19Speaker 1: and you had your issues with Emily. Yeah, Well, we're
- 2:23Speaker 1: the actual Okay, just let me speak first. Let Emily speak.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Let me speak first. Okay, are you too going to
- 2:31Speaker 1: argue the whole time? Yeah? Pretty much. So. When when
- 2:35Speaker 1: I met Emily, it was way before she was on
- 2:39Speaker 1: the show. Yeah, that's true. She was an amazing party planner.
- 2:43Speaker 1: She did the party planning for I did the baby shower. Yeah,
- 2:46Speaker 1: you did the baby shower for Sarah, Sarah, Sarah's baby mama,
- 2:50Speaker 1: the baby mama for Ryan, my oldest son. Okay, and
- 2:53Speaker 1: now Ava's eight years old. She did an amazing job,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and I met her. That's how I met at you, right, Yeah,
- 3:00Speaker 1: she did an amazing job. We filmed, did air, Yeah,
- 3:04Speaker 1: it did right a little like it showed a little. Okay, yeah,
- 3:07Speaker 1: did you do that because you wanted to be on
- 3:09Speaker 1: the show, because okay, I did it because my sister
- 3:12Speaker 1: in law and I started a party planning business and
- 3:14Speaker 1: we wanted exposure for your small business while we reached
- 3:18Speaker 1: now And when Tama said, oh I'm throwing this party,
- 3:21Speaker 1: we were like amazing because now we get to do
- 3:22Speaker 1: it for her housewife, we get to be filmed. So
- 3:25Speaker 1: for me, it was for business purposes. It was did
- 3:27Speaker 1: you ever think in a thousand years then no, we
- 3:30Speaker 1: were never. Yeah. No. But when Tama and I first met,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I think we had a lot in common because we
- 3:36Speaker 1: clicked immediately and we had so much in common, talking
- 3:38Speaker 1: about like X, wife and kids and yeah everything. I
- 3:41Speaker 1: found her like really really easy to talk to. And
- 3:44Speaker 1: then when I ended up on the show and we
- 3:45Speaker 1: filmed together, I don't know exactly what happened, but I'll
- 3:48Speaker 1: tell you. I'll tell you, Okay, so we want to
- 3:52Speaker 1: or not, I'm going to tell you because Stephanie called me.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Stephanie was our executive producer at the time, and she said,
- 3:59Speaker 1: I want to tell you that Emily Simpson is going
- 4:02Speaker 1: to be the new housewife and I want to run
- 4:04Speaker 1: it by you first and just let you know. And
- 4:07Speaker 1: I said, oh, okay, she and then she went on
- 4:11Speaker 1: to say, like she said that there was some problem
- 4:15Speaker 1: with your friendship, and you guys stopped talking and dad
- 4:19Speaker 1: da da, And I said, to be honest with you,
- 4:20Speaker 1: I always thought she was a cool chick. She was
- 4:23Speaker 1: always a cool chick. However, she was friends with people
- 4:27Speaker 1: that didn't like me, and that's where it got like
- 4:31Speaker 1: it was a great era for me. Did she like me?
- 4:33Speaker 1: Does she not? Like me, like and did you like
- 4:35Speaker 1: her from the beginning? I liked her before we were
- 4:39Speaker 1: on the show together, and then when we were on
- 4:40Speaker 1: the show together, I didn't like her. Well, tell me
- 4:43Speaker 1: why because for me, well, and you know, I want
- 4:47Speaker 1: to be honest about everything I'm saying. I think I
- 4:49Speaker 1: think also my perspective of her was clouded because I
- 4:51Speaker 1: had a lot of people telling me to stay away
- 4:54Speaker 1: from her, that she wasn't a good person, that people
- 4:56Speaker 1: from the show well desired people from the show, yeah,
- 4:59Speaker 1: like x people, And so I think my I think
- 5:03Speaker 1: the mistake I made going into the show was thinking
- 5:05Speaker 1: that I needed to stay away from her, and so
- 5:09Speaker 1: I did, and then she felt that and she does
- 5:13Speaker 1: it and then she well and all honesty, Like the
- 5:15Speaker 1: producers came to me and said, like, Emily knows that
- 5:18Speaker 1: you have friends that you don't she has friends that
- 5:21Speaker 1: you don't like, and she just wanted you to know
- 5:23Speaker 1: that those friends have you know, made her understand why,
- 5:27Speaker 1: like she understands, like she doesn't agree with her the
- 5:31Speaker 1: friends that are saying these bad thing And I don't
- 5:34Speaker 1: want to even want to bring a text no. But
- 5:36Speaker 1: I think the problem also was that that Timer and
- 5:39Speaker 1: I didn't have an establish enough of a friendship to
- 5:43Speaker 1: be able to work through it. We had to all
- 5:44Speaker 1: these outside Yeah, there were too many outside sources that
- 5:47Speaker 1: I think her have a certain perception of me, and
- 5:51Speaker 1: me have a certain perception of her. So I went
- 5:53Speaker 1: into it when Emily started filming, It's like she she
- 5:56Speaker 1: doesn't like me, she doesn't like me, She's gonna find
- 5:59Speaker 1: every reason to hate me. So you went it on
- 6:01Speaker 1: my defense? And then how did you go in trying
- 6:03Speaker 1: to get her? Or No? No, because I don't have
- 6:05Speaker 1: that kind I don't think I have that kind of
- 6:06Speaker 1: personality where I try to get people. I think my
- 6:08Speaker 1: personality with her was to avoid her and to just
- 6:12Speaker 1: like not engage and to kind of back off and
- 6:15Speaker 1: to stay away. And so I mean I regret, you know,
- 6:18Speaker 1: like the side side twenty twenty, I mean they're sitting
- 6:22Speaker 1: back on it. I wish I handled it differently, but
- 6:24Speaker 1: I didn't. And also, when you're on your first year,
- 6:26Speaker 1: you don't know what you don't know, you don't know
- 6:28Speaker 1: what to do, you don't know, and I don't blame
- 6:30Speaker 1: and where a friend is, You don't know who you
- 6:32Speaker 1: can trust, who you can't trust. You you don't know
- 6:34Speaker 1: what's going on, and so it was just a really
- 6:36Speaker 1: complicated situation for me. It was, and you know, the
- 6:40Speaker 1: rules were reversed. Might have felt the same way. Might
- 6:44Speaker 1: it felt like, oh my god, these are my friends,
- 6:46Speaker 1: they're warning me about this girl. And the truth of
- 6:49Speaker 1: the matter is is like, if you're a good person,
- 6:52Speaker 1: I like you. If you're an asshole, I don't like you. Yeah,
- 6:55Speaker 1: I mean, but I think we can all be assholes.
- 6:57Speaker 1: That's why we have like a common yeah. And I
- 7:00Speaker 1: the first two seasons I was on, I feel like
- 7:02Speaker 1: I was just on the defense the whole time. I
- 7:04Speaker 1: was like, what's gonna come at me? I got nervous
- 7:06Speaker 1: every time we went into any type of group filming.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I was like, what the fuck is somebody gonna say?
- 7:10Speaker 1: What are they gonna accuse me of? What are they
- 7:12Speaker 1: gonna say? Shane did? I was constantly on the defensive.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But once Timor was gone, I wasn't on the defensive anymore.
- 7:17Speaker 1: There was no reason to be on the defense because
- 7:19Speaker 1: she wasn't anybody leading the show. So when I went
- 7:23Speaker 1: into that third season, I was like, holy shit, Like
- 7:25Speaker 1: I have a whole new level of respect for her
- 7:28Speaker 1: because I realized that what she was didn't cripple you
- 7:31Speaker 1: cpp me, what do you mean like I made you
- 7:33Speaker 1: come into the show going shit? No? I think me
- 7:37Speaker 1: coming on the show this season, I came on I
- 7:39Speaker 1: was a thing or me thing? Well, it was probably
- 7:41Speaker 1: both of us. But I think that cast was a
- 7:43Speaker 1: really hard cast to come onto as a new It
- 7:45Speaker 1: was you and Vicky and Kelly and m Shannon. That's
- 7:49Speaker 1: what would you not agree that the cast were on
- 7:51Speaker 1: right now is a good cast. I think the cast
- 7:54Speaker 1: now is a great cast. Yeah, Okay, So I have
- 8:05Speaker 1: a couple of questions. We're gonna have to ask these
- 8:07Speaker 1: following things. One, if you could lose one cast member
- 8:13Speaker 1: from next season, who would it be? Hate? When I
- 8:17Speaker 1: get these questions, Well, I'm sorry, but one of us
- 8:19Speaker 1: got to do it. You two could go back and
- 8:21Speaker 1: forth about how y'all met for decades. I'm gonna let
- 8:24Speaker 1: Tamuras she can go first. Both of you guys have
- 8:26Speaker 1: to pick. It can be a friend of or it
- 8:28Speaker 1: could be a full time. I'm not discriminate. I'm gonna
- 8:31Speaker 1: plead the fifth because I feel like everybody on the
- 8:33Speaker 1: show is good. I'm just gonna say it's not Emily.
- 8:38Speaker 1: It's not Emily. It's not Emily. Okay, do you think, then,
- 8:42Speaker 1: who do you think it is? You can give us
- 8:44Speaker 1: another hint and I'll guess it. Well. I honestly think
- 8:47Speaker 1: the cast is really strong because I think you have
- 8:49Speaker 1: six full time women that are all so different with
- 8:52Speaker 1: each other that it makes for a good Castum, I
- 8:56Speaker 1: don't I mean, are we going to be excited to
- 8:57Speaker 1: see Taylor? I think there's a lot of anticipation around
- 9:02Speaker 1: Taylor and I don't. I don't know. I mean, I
- 9:04Speaker 1: didn't really film with her that much. I got I
- 9:06Speaker 1: watched her on Girls Trip, and I was underwhelmed. I
- 9:10Speaker 1: feel like she didn't really film that much with us,
- 9:12Speaker 1: Like I mean as an individual, she didn't film that much.
- 9:17Speaker 1: As a group, she was very involved in it. Okay,
- 9:20Speaker 1: So were you guys surprised that Noela wasn't asked back? No, no, no,
- 9:26Speaker 1: not even for a seconds. Do you think so it
- 9:28Speaker 1: was too Now, look, here's here's my take on it.
- 9:31Speaker 1: When you come in on your first season and you
- 9:33Speaker 1: think you're the star of the show, and so, do
- 9:36Speaker 1: you think that's what she was doing? Are you thinking, look,
- 9:40Speaker 1: here's my here's my thing. First of all, there's no
- 9:43Speaker 1: star on the show. We've had this conversation before the show.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Orange County is the star, and you're just hoping you
- 9:48Speaker 1: get good people on a show that is already agree
- 9:51Speaker 1: with Emily on that. And when you come in your
- 9:53Speaker 1: first season and all you do is talk about how
- 9:56Speaker 1: you're the story of You're the star of the show,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and you're the most interesting and everything revolves around you,
- 10:01Speaker 1: there's nowhere to go from there, right, there's nowhere to go,
- 10:04Speaker 1: and no one wants to your friend. And if no
- 10:06Speaker 1: one wants to be your friend, you have no connections
- 10:08Speaker 1: with the rest of the cast. And then who do
- 10:10Speaker 1: you think had the bigger comeback? Do you think it's
- 10:12Speaker 1: going to be it was Heather Dubrow opening to the
- 10:15Speaker 1: view or whatever the hell Tama is going to be
- 10:18Speaker 1: doing coming in this season? I do? I mean, if
- 10:21Speaker 1: I had to pick which one would be bigger or
- 10:24Speaker 1: more epic, I do think Tama coming back. But that's
- 10:26Speaker 1: because Tamra, I think is a staple in Orange County,
- 10:29Speaker 1: and I wouldn't. I think Heather's good, but I wouldn't
- 10:32Speaker 1: say she was a staple on the show. She was
- 10:34Speaker 1: on five years and then she took a break and
- 10:36Speaker 1: then she's come back for the past two But I
- 10:39Speaker 1: think when you think about Orange County, I think you
- 10:40Speaker 1: think Vicky, and I think you think Tamra. I do
- 10:43Speaker 1: feel like Heather has she has her spot on the show. Yeah? Absolutely,
- 10:48Speaker 1: Heather wasn't a dig at Heather. It was just yeah. No,
- 10:50Speaker 1: And I honestly agree with you. Yeah, I feel like
- 10:53Speaker 1: Heather had her time on the show. She was on
- 10:56Speaker 1: for five seasons, then she was off for five seasons,
- 11:00Speaker 1: and then they brought her back. I feel like the
- 11:05Speaker 1: lead up to her coming up back to the show
- 11:07Speaker 1: was too much for the fans to even grasp. Well,
- 11:10Speaker 1: then my question goes, because your bestie is quite or
- 11:15Speaker 1: was quite close with Heather, what's I kind of felt
- 11:19Speaker 1: like that entire friendship was a fraud. No, I don't
- 11:22Speaker 1: think so, because I don't think Gina does. I don't.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I don't think she does things that are But why
- 11:26Speaker 1: was she treating Gina like a pet. We'll give me
- 11:29Speaker 1: an example, like, come over and you can try out
- 11:32Speaker 1: my QBC line and then I'm gonna put you in
- 11:33Speaker 1: these outfits and then I'm gonna send you out with it,
- 11:35Speaker 1: and then let's wear these matching champagne shirts. And I
- 11:38Speaker 1: gotta agree with that. It was uncomfortable for it. I
- 11:42Speaker 1: don't know it was it she introduced her like her
- 11:45Speaker 1: little sister, and here and here's the thing. I came
- 11:48Speaker 1: in and I was younger than everybody else, and I
- 11:50Speaker 1: was in a different place. But and I do remember
- 11:53Speaker 1: the one scene that I went shopping at Kyle store.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Everybody's like, Teddy, oh my god, I can't believe it,
- 12:00Speaker 1: and I was like, truthfully, I can't afford nice clothes
- 12:02Speaker 1: to word to Vegas. So I'm like, I'm so excited
- 12:04Speaker 1: that I get my two hundred and fifty dollars credit
- 12:06Speaker 1: and I like a lean to by Kyle. But but
- 12:10Speaker 1: you know, what the thing is is like I really
- 12:12Speaker 1: you gotta let Emily, I know. But the thing is
- 12:15Speaker 1: like I really love Gina, Like I love Gina's she
- 12:18Speaker 1: leans into who she is and what she doesn't have
- 12:20Speaker 1: and whatever. Whatever the scene is, I understand what you're saying.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Like Heather came in, It's like, come on, Gina, do
- 12:30Speaker 1: you think that Heather did it just to make her
- 12:32Speaker 1: have a friend, so that Heather could have a friend. Yeah,
- 12:36Speaker 1: I think Heather always needs an ally I mean I
- 12:38Speaker 1: think that I think that when I think that she's
- 12:40Speaker 1: very smart, and I think that she she knows that
- 12:43Speaker 1: she always needs an ally. I think she knows that
- 12:45Speaker 1: it's the worst thing to be on an island by yourself.
- 12:48Speaker 1: So I think that she does work hard to make
- 12:49Speaker 1: sure that shell. Heather's smart. Yeah, I mean she's smart,
- 12:52Speaker 1: She's very smart. I think how good of a friendship
- 12:54Speaker 1: can it be if you're trying to change the person
- 12:57Speaker 1: that your friends went? It's one thing if you're doing
- 12:59Speaker 1: it a beneficial way. I felt, and I and I
- 13:02Speaker 1: said this to Heather when she approached me and the
- 13:05Speaker 1: and the airport. Yeah, I just said, I think there's
- 13:07Speaker 1: something about you that has like a little bit of
- 13:09Speaker 1: like one upperness. And I felt that when it came
- 13:13Speaker 1: to Gina. Yeah, but don't you feel like that's Heather
- 13:16Speaker 1: in general? Because I don't even know if that I
- 13:17Speaker 1: don't know if it contains to just Gina. I just
- 13:21Speaker 1: know I oh, No, I mean, I mean, I will
- 13:23Speaker 1: say Gina is a hard worker. She shows it to work,
- 13:28Speaker 1: she gives it her all. Emily's a hard worker, Shannon's
- 13:32Speaker 1: a hard worker. Like we know this assignment and we
- 13:36Speaker 1: do it and we're good at it. Yeah, okay, so
- 13:38Speaker 1: we're gonna switch gears for a second. Um. A lot
- 13:41Speaker 1: of fan questions were about any work that you potentially
- 13:45Speaker 1: had done. We're open books, Like I'm like, I had
- 13:46Speaker 1: a necklift, I've had my kids. I'm always open. I
- 13:49Speaker 1: don't ever lie about that stuff. I mean, I've had
- 13:51Speaker 1: everything done. I always say, First of all, let me
- 13:54Speaker 1: just preface this by saying, I'm forty seven years old
- 13:57Speaker 1: and you look freaking hot, and I'm getting close to fifty,
- 14:00Speaker 1: So not that close, but I mean it's close. Like
- 14:03Speaker 1: I mean, before I look amazing, thank you, But before
- 14:05Speaker 1: we know what, we're going to be celebrating my fiftieth
- 14:07Speaker 1: birthday and I can't wait. So with that being said,
- 14:10Speaker 1: I feel like I lead a healthy lifestyle, try to
- 14:13Speaker 1: eat as best as I can. I still enjoy cupcakes
- 14:15Speaker 1: and champagne, like I'm not gonna Yeah, why we're on
- 14:19Speaker 1: that the whole scene last season when you were eating
- 14:22Speaker 1: the sub Yeah, was that was that a stick? No?
- 14:25Speaker 1: I I thought we were done filming because we filmed
- 14:28Speaker 1: at that sauna that perspire and when you sit in
- 14:31Speaker 1: that sauna and it's freaking hot, and I had a
- 14:33Speaker 1: turkey sandwich in my purse and I was waiting to
- 14:35Speaker 1: eat it, and they said, do you know that's what
- 14:37Speaker 1: we love about you? And they said, yeah, we're winding down,
- 14:40Speaker 1: we're going to stop filming. And I was like, okay,
- 14:42Speaker 1: we're doing is showing you a camera? So I pulled
- 14:47Speaker 1: out the sandwich because I was starving, because I filmed
- 14:50Speaker 1: something before we filmed the Perspire bit. Yeah, so I
- 14:53Speaker 1: was shoving that turkey sandwich was filming. You went and
- 14:57Speaker 1: got the sandwich. Yeah, yeah, okay, that's what in my mind,
- 15:00Speaker 1: that's what I thought. Yeah, okay, honestly, next question, we
- 15:04Speaker 1: can all answer this. The rudest Bravo leb you came
- 15:09Speaker 1: across at Bravo Con and the nicest, the rudest, the rude,
- 15:14Speaker 1: I really, oh god, I honestly didn't come across any rude.
- 15:19Speaker 1: I didn't either, and I would say if I did,
- 15:21Speaker 1: but everybody would say nice. And actually, when people know
- 15:24Speaker 1: who I am at like kind of freaks me out
- 15:25Speaker 1: because I don't consider myself like a celebrity by any
- 15:29Speaker 1: stretch of the imagination at all. So when people recognize
- 15:32Speaker 1: me and say, like, oh my gosh, Emily, it kind
- 15:34Speaker 1: of freaks me out? Can I ask you a question? Yeah?
- 15:37Speaker 1: Was it you're dying desire to be on Housewives? No? No,
- 15:42Speaker 1: So it was never like because there's been like, oh
- 15:44Speaker 1: my god, she's tried out for multiple years. I only
- 15:47Speaker 1: tried out the one time before I was cast one time.
- 15:51Speaker 1: So when you got it instead of you, it was
- 15:53Speaker 1: the season that Kelly came on. Oh okay, can we
- 15:57Speaker 1: talk a little bit about one of your biggest regrets
- 16:01Speaker 1: on the show or the biggest heats that you got
- 16:03Speaker 1: Because I wasn't a huge Orange County watcher until after
- 16:06Speaker 1: I became on the show and started watching. But I hated. No,
- 16:12Speaker 1: I was, I was, I'm hated. I breathe and I
- 16:14Speaker 1: get hated, hated. But no, my question is you're loved.
- 16:19Speaker 1: You're loved. You're really making me feel it today too.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I love you. But my question is you said something
- 16:27Speaker 1: I don't know. Was it your first or second season?
- 16:30Speaker 1: Are you talking about the first season? Kill the kill thing? Yeah? Killing? Yeah,
- 16:35Speaker 1: that was at my house. I had the influence of course,
- 16:40Speaker 1: well not a lot though, because my first two seasons
- 16:42Speaker 1: I didn't drink very much at all. I was I
- 16:45Speaker 1: feel like I was totally different my first two seasons
- 16:47Speaker 1: because I was dealing with a lot of things my
- 16:49Speaker 1: first two seasons, But what were you dealing with? My
- 16:51Speaker 1: first two seasons were very, very difficult for me. I
- 16:54Speaker 1: there were several times where I flat outside to Shane,
- 16:57Speaker 1: I'm not doing this anymore. This is my thing why
- 17:00Speaker 1: Because first there were so many First of all, I
- 17:02Speaker 1: was in I was physically not in pane. I was
- 17:05Speaker 1: in pain. And when you're in hip, yes, and when
- 17:07Speaker 1: you're in chronic pain, it is very difficult to function.
- 17:10Speaker 1: So that was one thing. Also, Shane, he's probably gonna
- 17:14Speaker 1: get mad at me, but he had a hard time
- 17:16Speaker 1: dealing with his ex wife and custody and kids, and
- 17:19Speaker 1: so he I went through that, and I guess so
- 17:22Speaker 1: you understand. Yeah, But he was very very concerned about
- 17:25Speaker 1: anything I said, did drink cust He wanted you to
- 17:30Speaker 1: be perfect. Well, he didn't want me to be a
- 17:34Speaker 1: liability so that somebody didn't want her to whatever. He
- 17:39Speaker 1: didn't want it to be an issue where his ex
- 17:41Speaker 1: would be like the show is a shoe. But at
- 17:43Speaker 1: the end of the day, yeah, you have the kids.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, now yeah, but then Mike, then now we
- 17:49Speaker 1: have to go into Shane, because what season was Shane's
- 17:51Speaker 1: hard season? The first two? But no, there was no
- 17:55Speaker 1: there was one where he really got a lot of shit.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I feel like it was season three, maybe no three,
- 18:02Speaker 1: season two. Okay, so season two is his worst. Yeah.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Season one, I think people thought he was a dick,
- 18:07Speaker 1: and then season two, I think they were confirmed that
- 18:10Speaker 1: he was a dick. Let me, I've always Emily, Yeah, yeah,
- 18:14Speaker 1: I know, You've always been a Shane like. I love him, Yeah,
- 18:18Speaker 1: I love the way he thinks. I love him as
- 18:21Speaker 1: a father, I love him as a husband. Yeah. I'm
- 18:24Speaker 1: the person that's like, I'm agreeing with the person that
- 18:28Speaker 1: is like solid Yeah. And I feel like he's always
- 18:31Speaker 1: been a good dad always, He's been a good husband always. Yeah.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Like he's amazing. Yeah, and I'm glad he made a
- 18:38Speaker 1: comeback because I feel like all this shit he got
- 18:40Speaker 1: his first two seasons were because if you want to
- 18:43Speaker 1: know the crux of it, it's because Shane gave zero
- 18:45Speaker 1: fucks about being famous or being on TV. Yeah. Zero yeah,
- 18:47Speaker 1: And that's how my husband is zero. I totally related
- 18:50Speaker 1: to Shane is feeling. So he didn't rise to the occasion.
- 18:54Speaker 1: He didn't say what he thought he should say. He
- 18:56Speaker 1: didn't act the way he thought he should. He just
- 18:58Speaker 1: said whatever the fuck. He wasn't politically correct. He didn't care.
- 19:02Speaker 1: He didn't care. No, But and he still doesn't. Yeah.
- 19:04Speaker 1: And the thing is is like, even when you and
- 19:06Speaker 1: I had issues, Yeah, I've always been a big supporter
- 19:10Speaker 1: of No and I appreciate that. And I just feel
- 19:12Speaker 1: like he's a good dad. In today's world, you have
- 19:16Speaker 1: to give credit for somebody is like a good dad.
- 19:18Speaker 1: And that was his problem with the show the first
- 19:20Speaker 1: two seasons was he didn't want it to affect our marriage.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Try to fuck with him. Yeah, he didn't want it
- 19:24Speaker 1: to affect his children. So he was not a family.
- 19:27Speaker 1: And he's got two daughters from another marriage and they
- 19:29Speaker 1: were amazing and wives. And you guys have three kids together.
- 19:34Speaker 1: How did you take it when he when people kind
- 19:38Speaker 1: of came at him because they were saying, you were
- 19:41Speaker 1: working and he was taking care of the God, Oh,
- 19:44Speaker 1: that fucking pisses me off. Well, first of all, let's
- 19:47Speaker 1: just set the record straight. Shane. Shane is a good provider.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Shane has money. He's always going to have money. He
- 19:55Speaker 1: came from money, he has money. He's always going to
- 19:58Speaker 1: be the main provider in our family always, and when
- 20:01Speaker 1: when it looked like I was working, but he wasn't,
- 20:04Speaker 1: that's because good guy he is. And he was studying
- 20:07Speaker 1: for the bar, and he was trying to take the bar.
- 20:09Speaker 1: And first of all, let's give credit to someone who
- 20:11Speaker 1: took the bar that many times with millions of people
- 20:14Speaker 1: scrutinizing him, and he still did it publicly, publicly. Yeah,
- 20:19Speaker 1: and he still did it, and I probably would never
- 20:21Speaker 1: do it. And now he works at a firm and
- 20:24Speaker 1: he works in Long Beach and he goes to work
- 20:26Speaker 1: every days of what he does today, Like I've all,
- 20:30Speaker 1: I mean, I've been the biggest Shane supporter ever. Yeah. Ever,
- 20:34Speaker 1: maybe it's the dry sense of humor that I have
- 20:37Speaker 1: with Shane. Yeah, I don't know. I've never looked down.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I've always looked up to Shane. But Shane's parents are
- 20:44Speaker 1: not LDS. But he is correct. Yes, how do you
- 20:47Speaker 1: guys feel about Salt Lake City? You know, I've had
- 20:51Speaker 1: people ask me that before, like what do you think
- 20:52Speaker 1: about Heather? What do you think about her book? And
- 20:54Speaker 1: things like that. Here's my response. You can two people
- 20:57Speaker 1: can go to a movie and watch a movie and
- 20:59Speaker 1: one people can person can say that was the most
- 21:01Speaker 1: amazing movie I've ever seen, and another person can say
- 21:03Speaker 1: that was the shittiest movie I've ever seen. So to me,
- 21:05Speaker 1: it's just two different experiences. Jane's LDS, he's very committed
- 21:10Speaker 1: to it. We've never had an issue in our family ever.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Judge you because I can say this. I have a
- 21:15Speaker 1: lot of LDS people that work with me and we
- 21:19Speaker 1: have a like a mutual understanding. But like there are
- 21:22Speaker 1: certain rules that like to me, I wouldn't even think about,
- 21:24Speaker 1: like no coffee, Yeah, no, I drink I mean I'm
- 21:27Speaker 1: drinking alcohol right now. You would you ever consider no?
- 21:34Speaker 1: And no? And that was one of the deal breakers.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Why would you not? I mean, your husband is LDS,
- 21:40Speaker 1: your kids Because I'm not very religious? Why I'm just
- 21:44Speaker 1: I'm not very religious in general. I believe in the
- 21:46Speaker 1: religion a carma, believe in God, I do, and I
- 21:48Speaker 1: believe in like a higher power, and I believe. What
- 21:50Speaker 1: about the LDS relate that because I just meet personally,
- 21:54Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I wouldn't probably join any formal religion. I wouldn't.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Does it cause a problem in your relations It doesn't.
- 22:00Speaker 1: He seemed we all went to lunch and we all
- 22:03Speaker 1: had drinks. He didn't seem to mind. He doesn't care,
- 22:05Speaker 1: he doesn't care. But my husband didn't drink either, he
- 22:08Speaker 1: had one drink. I watched it. Oh, no, Shane will
- 22:11Speaker 1: buy me drinks and bring him to me, and like,
- 22:13Speaker 1: he doesn't care. It's not an issue. But did you
- 22:16Speaker 1: end up having your daughter become LDS? I gave her
- 22:19Speaker 1: the option. Anabelle, yes, And what about the twins? I
- 22:23Speaker 1: asked her to young. No, they're eight now, so they
- 22:25Speaker 1: can be baptized. And I asked them, I said, do
- 22:28Speaker 1: you want to be baptized? And one said yes, someone
- 22:30Speaker 1: said no, So I'll go with So So what would
- 22:33Speaker 1: change if you said I want to be LDS? What
- 22:36Speaker 1: would change? You know, I decide to drinking? Well say,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I don't know. I could, I don't. I would still
- 22:43Speaker 1: drink coffee and still drink alcohol. So that's why I
- 22:45Speaker 1: couldn't commit to it, because I can't change. Can I
- 22:48Speaker 1: say to you, like, how amazing that you're with a man.
- 22:51Speaker 1: It's so loving to your kids. Yeah, that accepts you
- 22:56Speaker 1: for who you are. Yeah. And it's like if you
- 22:59Speaker 1: don't want to be LDS, us, that's okay. But he
- 23:01Speaker 1: also wasn't. He was a difference. But but I'm gonna
- 23:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest with you. If my husband wanted
- 23:09Speaker 1: me to convert to a religion, I probably would look
- 23:14Speaker 1: into it. That's just me. I mean, I go to church,
- 23:17Speaker 1: Ma Shane, and there are you. Oh, I don't know.
- 23:20Speaker 1: He's just not on the doctrine or is that what
- 23:23Speaker 1: it's called. I don't know. I'm just not a member.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I haven't been baptized into the church. So I grew
- 23:27Speaker 1: up with friends that were very into the Mormon religion,
- 23:32Speaker 1: and I actually went to church as a teen. That's
- 23:38Speaker 1: how he became LDS. I thought he became LDS from
- 23:41Speaker 1: the first wife. Am I wrong here? No, that's wrong.
- 23:43Speaker 1: He he became LDS because when he was growing up,
- 23:46Speaker 1: his neighbors in Lagunagel, where we live, were LDS and
- 23:50Speaker 1: he spent a lot of time with the kids and
- 23:53Speaker 1: it made him feel safe, and he went to church
- 23:55Speaker 1: with them. They were all in his age group. Have
- 23:57Speaker 1: you ever seen him have an alcoholic beverage? Never? He's
- 23:59Speaker 1: never had a drop alcohol. Oh my gosh, this is amazing.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Did you have sex before you got married? No? But no,
- 24:06Speaker 1: But that's why we got married so quickly. That's why
- 24:08Speaker 1: he that's why we didn't date. Why did you get married?
- 24:12Speaker 1: And how did you get proposed to? Because there's a
- 24:14Speaker 1: lot of misconceptions of you got a like text message
- 24:19Speaker 1: that like, yeah, he says, I sent a message to
- 24:22Speaker 1: him and I asked him to marry him. I think
- 24:24Speaker 1: he messaged me in an as how long have you
- 24:25Speaker 1: been married? Either way, who gets engaged via text? We did? How,
- 24:31Speaker 1: how when did that happen? Give it this time frame. Well,
- 24:34Speaker 1: we worked together for three years and we were friends.
- 24:36Speaker 1: But when he and his first wife got divorced, then
- 24:38Speaker 1: like things started to become like a little more flirtation.
- 24:41Speaker 1: And this is a meta Yes in Utah. No, no,
- 24:43Speaker 1: this isn't California. Not in Utah. We didn't move to
- 24:46Speaker 1: Utah until after we were married. So you were in California.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You were working for him, not for him with him,
- 24:53Speaker 1: with him, I worked for a firm. We worked at
- 24:55Speaker 1: the same firm together. Okay, you were divorced, he was
- 24:58Speaker 1: still married. Yeah, you guys were working together. Yes, we
- 25:03Speaker 1: were friends. Tell us what do you think he was
- 25:05Speaker 1: always in love with you? Well, why wouldn't he? Probably
- 25:07Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, got us. Hello. Yeah, so you guys
- 25:12Speaker 1: were working together. Yeah, and then what happened. Then he
- 25:18Speaker 1: and his ex wife got divorced. Yeah, his ex wife
- 25:21Speaker 1: took the kids and moved to Utah instead of having
- 25:23Speaker 1: his ex wife back to Orange County. He was a
- 25:25Speaker 1: nice guy, and he quit his job and he moved
- 25:27Speaker 1: to Utah, and we were working. I was working in
- 25:30Speaker 1: family law, so I knew a lot about family law.
- 25:31Speaker 1: So I would help him a lot with his like
- 25:33Speaker 1: divorce and stuff and just give him like advice and things. Yeah.
- 25:36Speaker 1: And then when his divorce was final, he was like, hey,
- 25:38Speaker 1: do you want to go to Vegas? And we went
- 25:40Speaker 1: to Vegas. Oh, here today, Sorry, I have to interrupt this.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Please look to the That is my grandpa right there.
- 25:46Speaker 1: He is your grandpa ninety not hell old? Is he?
- 25:50Speaker 1: Ask him right now? Ninety one years old? My dad's dad.
- 25:56Speaker 1: In July, he just came. He looks exactly like my dad,
- 26:00Speaker 1: but he's just so he can't hear me, he can't
- 26:03Speaker 1: hear anybody ever. Oh my god, that is so amazing.
- 26:07Speaker 1: They just they just said, hey, look to your left,
- 26:09Speaker 1: and yeah, so he's we're all the same human. But
- 26:13Speaker 1: I love him. So much he sends me weekly quotes. Um.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Next question is, this is a fan question. You and
- 26:19Speaker 1: Gina tend to stick together no matter what. What do
- 26:22Speaker 1: you say to criticism about that. I know what it's
- 26:25Speaker 1: like because people always said that about me and Kyle,
- 26:29Speaker 1: and always my kind of defense was like, listen, if
- 26:31Speaker 1: somebody's my best friend, I'm going to do everything I
- 26:34Speaker 1: can to be there for them. If they're being an
- 26:36Speaker 1: asshole to me, yeah, I will stand up for myself. Yeah,
- 26:40Speaker 1: and that's that's that's my same response with I mean,
- 26:43Speaker 1: Gina and I have been on this together for five years, like,
- 26:45Speaker 1: well you started together. We started together and it's been
- 26:48Speaker 1: five years and we are very close. And I like
- 26:52Speaker 1: the new boyfriend. I do. I think he's a great guy.
- 26:55Speaker 1: I think I think he's great too. I think he's great.
- 26:57Speaker 1: And they're gonna end up getting married. I hope I
- 26:59Speaker 1: get to play and the wedding and so are you
- 27:01Speaker 1: still event planning? No? Not really, but I can get it.
- 27:05Speaker 1: But I would do it because I'm good at it. Yeah, Okay,
- 27:07Speaker 1: I have to do a rapid fire the first word
- 27:10Speaker 1: that comes to your mind, one word only, and I'm
- 27:13Speaker 1: gonna say the names you're gonna yell them out, okay,
- 27:18Speaker 1: Heather controlled? No not you, Tama, I mean why not me? Money? Okay?
- 27:27Speaker 1: Tamera asshole? Asshole, asshole, bitchy, Gina love really? I do?
- 27:36Speaker 1: I love Gina? I do? Tamera, You're bitchy and Heather's
- 27:39Speaker 1: money and you're ok. Shannon neurotic, Vicky Queen Victoria. I
- 27:47Speaker 1: don't know. I just get like this Q Yeah, Taylor
- 27:51Speaker 1: Messi the New Housewife, jen Um Enigma like that a
- 27:57Speaker 1: big word for us over here? No? I mean I
- 28:01Speaker 1: think no, I think that's a good word. That didn't,
- 28:04Speaker 1: didn't Jane have a confusion and enigma wrapped in? What?
- 28:08Speaker 1: Let me ask you, Teddy, was what does enigma mean?
- 28:12Speaker 1: I think an enigma is a facade of something else, right,
- 28:15Speaker 1: Like it's perfect, You're you're real love, whatever it is
- 28:19Speaker 1: that you're great? You know. Honestly, I don't know how
- 28:21Speaker 1: much I can say, but I just I'm still trying
- 28:23Speaker 1: to figure her out and I'm confused. I'm still confused. Yeah, okay, Um,
- 28:28Speaker 1: I just need to know. Did you see Terma's tids
- 28:30Speaker 1: this season? I did? Yeah, And I saw Emily's tis
- 28:34Speaker 1: as well. I mean she probably she probably saw more
- 28:37Speaker 1: than now. I think I just saw you. Oh yeah,
- 28:41Speaker 1: Mary fuck kill? Uh Terry de Brow, Jen's boyfriend from
- 28:45Speaker 1: the gym and the True Religions and with the dog
- 28:50Speaker 1: and John, Shannon's ex boyfriend. Mary fuck kill. Okay, okay,
- 28:56Speaker 1: I'm totally marrying Terry to Brow. I'm gonna marry Terry.
- 29:00Speaker 1: You're gonna have sex. I don't want to fuck him,
- 29:03Speaker 1: but I'll marry it. I'm gonna marry him. And then
- 29:05Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna who are the other two? Uh? Whatever?
- 29:09Speaker 1: The guys whatever? Jen's husband or boyfriend Ryan, Bryan and
- 29:15Speaker 1: what was the other one? Uh? Shannon badors John? Okay,
- 29:18Speaker 1: I have to kill John, but then I don't know John.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I don't really want to. I don't walk. I don't
- 29:22Speaker 1: want to have to pick. I'm gonna I'm gonna go
- 29:26Speaker 1: with fuck Ryan and kill John. Yeah, I'm gonna gray.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna gray. I'm sorry. I have a real problem
- 29:30Speaker 1: with with men who are jeans. When there's distressed I
- 29:35Speaker 1: can't I can't do a distressed gene. It's not pretty.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Speaking of John, I guess let's go into Shannon real quick. Um,
- 29:43Speaker 1: does she give any parts? Like did you know. I
- 29:47Speaker 1: mean I personally felt like I knew pregnant at Bravo Con.
- 29:50Speaker 1: There were holes in that relationship. I will say I
- 29:55Speaker 1: stopped talking to Shannon for two years, and prior to
- 29:59Speaker 1: the two year years that we did not talk, I
- 30:02Speaker 1: felt that the relationship was not well. Right. Yeah, you
- 30:07Speaker 1: continued to film with her, right, and it's going to
- 30:10Speaker 1: play out in this season. But do you think he
- 30:13Speaker 1: solely did it to be on television? Yeah? You do.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I asked him a light. You know, I don't know
- 30:19Speaker 1: if he solely was in a relationship with her for TV,
- 30:22Speaker 1: but I do think that he loved the limelight. And
- 30:24Speaker 1: you know, she used to always call him a private
- 30:26Speaker 1: person and say that, like he's a private person, a
- 30:29Speaker 1: private person when you're on a TV shop, But he's
- 30:31Speaker 1: and he's not interested in me in the limelight. But
- 30:32Speaker 1: every time you saw like he was always on watching
- 30:35Speaker 1: What Happens Live with her, as he was traveling with
- 30:37Speaker 1: her everywhere, he was filming with her all the time.
- 30:40Speaker 1: And I was like, I'm like, okay, mister, a private
- 30:42Speaker 1: person is clearly not a private person. Like I think
- 30:46Speaker 1: he's enjoying the spotlight. Okay, So do you think that
- 30:49Speaker 1: Shannon throughout this season is trying to cover up that
- 30:52Speaker 1: the entire time, Like, are we going to see a
- 30:54Speaker 1: scandal all? But with Shannon and well, I don't think
- 30:57Speaker 1: it's at the level of scand of all. But I
- 30:59Speaker 1: think that Shannon works very hard to But but I
- 31:04Speaker 1: also have to think. I think you have to think
- 31:05Speaker 1: about the intent of why she's doing what she's doing,
- 31:08Speaker 1: and it goes down. It goes back to him not
- 31:11Speaker 1: being a good guy and not letting her be herself.
- 31:14Speaker 1: I think he was very controlling. Would you rather hook
- 31:16Speaker 1: up with um? Is his name? John? Why can't I
- 31:19Speaker 1: remember it? John? Or David Badour? I would rather fuck
- 31:24Speaker 1: David Badoor than John John. The fact what I said,
- 31:29Speaker 1: that's what That's what both of you guys are saying.
- 31:31Speaker 1: That is making me feel unwell inside. But see, here's
- 31:35Speaker 1: the thing, though. You know he was not invested in
- 31:37Speaker 1: the relationship, and you know he wanted to back out
- 31:39Speaker 1: of the relationship, but he waits until we're done filming.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Of course he did. He's Steve Lodge Junior. Well, but
- 31:45Speaker 1: he's he wasn't into it. No, he wasn't. No, he
- 31:48Speaker 1: wasn't into it. No, I wouldn't even had them on,
- 31:51Speaker 1: like even I'm not trying to be rude to my husband.
- 31:54Speaker 1: There was a time where he would film and he
- 31:56Speaker 1: was so checked out during filming. I was like, fuck you,
- 31:58Speaker 1: then I'm not having a film with me anymore, Like okay,
- 32:00Speaker 1: Shane used to take his mic off and leave. No.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Ed would be like, I'm not interested in hearing about
- 32:06Speaker 1: this story and then walk away. And then I'd be like,
- 32:08Speaker 1: now we're in a new fight. That's why we we
- 32:10Speaker 1: are in this situation where and right now, Shane would
- 32:13Speaker 1: they would mike him and then they would tell him
- 32:15Speaker 1: to wait to enter the scene and he would take
- 32:17Speaker 1: his mic off, getting his car and leave. That's why,
- 32:19Speaker 1: because this is what we have to keep in mind.
- 32:23Speaker 1: They are not being paid. So any man that is
- 32:27Speaker 1: there one hundred per on and popping twenty something out
- 32:32Speaker 1: and want something out of it, like Edwin would look
- 32:34Speaker 1: at me and be like really really yeah, Like oh yes,
- 32:38Speaker 1: I really want to go and talk about married to
- 32:40Speaker 1: a man that wants to talk about it more than
- 32:42Speaker 1: you want to talk about talk about your girls? Are
- 32:45Speaker 1: you kidding me? Like? When I complain about you every
- 32:48Speaker 1: Tuesday and Thursday, it's not to Edwin um, all right,
- 33:01Speaker 1: really quickly as we close up, we have to finish this.
- 33:04Speaker 1: But people are wanting specifics on the work you've had done.
- 33:08Speaker 1: You had a lower facelift, same as me. I had
- 33:10Speaker 1: a lower facelift. Um, that's the only thing I've done
- 33:13Speaker 1: to my face is a lower facelift. Okay, just recently,
- 33:16Speaker 1: a couple of months ago, I did have LiPo in
- 33:18Speaker 1: my arms. Well, can you tell us who your doctor is.
- 33:21Speaker 1: It's doctor Aga. He's done all my surgeries. He removed
- 33:24Speaker 1: my breast implants, he did my lift. Do you have
- 33:26Speaker 1: no breast? Yeah, I have no implants. This is all
- 33:29Speaker 1: real boob. Are you happy with that? Yes? Because I
- 33:32Speaker 1: did the same thing. I had my breast implants removed
- 33:35Speaker 1: and I'm all natural. How do you saw me naked recently? Talk?
- 33:39Speaker 1: Are you okay with my my boobs? Do you think
- 33:41Speaker 1: I need beggar? No? I think they're perfect sized. Yeah,
- 33:44Speaker 1: but they're mine. Yeah, this is all mine. Yeah. I
- 33:47Speaker 1: would have two mosquito bites if I took out my
- 33:49Speaker 1: fake boob, yeah, just two little bites. They would just
- 33:52Speaker 1: sit there. But you're you look amazing, Thank you, thank you. Um, well,
- 33:57Speaker 1: we appreciate you guys. Thank you for tuning in. We're
- 34:00Speaker 1: gonna wrap this episode and then we are bringing on Edwin,
- 34:03Speaker 1: Eddie and Shane, and Shane's gonna come kicking and screen.
- 34:10Speaker 1: He has no idea given him some sugar free red
- 34:13Speaker 1: Bulls to get him all just stop, Shane. Well, thanks
- 34:16Speaker 1: guys for tuning in, and I cannot wait until the

- 35:07Speaker 1: because we have I mean, when I tell you, this
- 35:10Speaker 1: lobby is blowing up with fans. I see at least
- 35:13Speaker 1: seven people out here, seven seven. Who are we going
- 35:19Speaker 1: to be singing? Are we gonna just be hanging in
- 35:21Speaker 1: the background. Weren't you on the side of the stage
