- 0:01Speaker 1: We gotta let it happen now, Carl, we're in it.
- 0:03Speaker 1: We're pop committed. One must give George Michael his due
- 0:12Speaker 1: and allow him the theatrical intro. No, okay, next time. No.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Tony Katz at ninety three WIBC.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Good morning, Gearing up for the popcorn Moment, brought to
- 0:24Speaker 1: you by Boer b oo h E. R. Bower Remodeling

- 0:31Speaker 1: am getting ready for it. It'll be next month. I'll
- 0:34Speaker 1: start picking out the countertop and I'll start picking out fixtures.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Because what we're doing in our kitchen is we have
- 0:41Speaker 1: a smaller kitchen and we have thought about blowing it
- 0:44Speaker 1: out and making it much bigger for us, that's not
- 0:46Speaker 1: what we needed. What we need is our kitchen to
- 0:48Speaker 1: have just a better bit of styling. We've created a
- 0:52Speaker 1: bit of shape for it, we've created a bit of
- 0:54Speaker 1: storage for it. Now it's to finish up the styling
- 0:56Speaker 1: and Boer is helping us with that. For you, it
- 0:59Speaker 1: might be let go down to the studs and start fresh.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Were different people, we have different needs. Booer is listening
- 1:05Speaker 1: to each of us individually and then helping us build
- 1:08Speaker 1: what it is we are looking to do.
- 1:10Speaker 2: What are you trying to get done?
- 1:12Speaker 1: Boer is there for you, taking all the stress out
- 1:14Speaker 1: of it, just getting you the kitchen you need, want deserve,

- 1:22Speaker 1: a different layout, a.

- 2:08Speaker 1: let's go, Let's go. It's a story you need to
- 2:12Speaker 1: hear to believe then grab your popcorn, because well there is.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Much much, much, much, much, much much much more.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Now I share this with you from Harry Enton over there.
- 2:31Speaker 2: At CNN. I stand by.
- 2:36Speaker 1: My words that it seems to me that Republicans are
- 2:41Speaker 1: not interested in winning re election. That's the way it looks.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Where is the the forcefulness, where is the time? Is
- 2:51Speaker 1: of the essence, the sense of urgency? Where is any
- 2:55Speaker 1: of it?
- 2:59Speaker 2: The answer is I don't know. I don't know. But
- 3:04Speaker 2: still the political left is falling apart.
- 3:08Speaker 1: And let me just say that the redishrating battle has
- 3:15Speaker 1: worked out horrifyingly bad for the left. Oh, we're gonna
- 3:20Speaker 1: get into what South Carolina did just yesterday. What's happening
- 3:23Speaker 1: with the maps where Hakim Jeffries is leading Democrats? Which
- 3:27Speaker 1: is right off a cliff. This is something else. But
- 3:32Speaker 1: let's break down some numbers. I don't ask anybody ever
- 3:37Speaker 1: to believe just one poll, but this is now some
- 3:40Speaker 1: trending information.
- 3:43Speaker 2: So let's get into this.
- 3:44Speaker 1: This is Harry Anton over at CNN, who, No matter
- 3:47Speaker 1: what you think of CNN, I think Harry Anton does
- 3:50Speaker 1: a good job. It's like Karnaki they're at NBC. He
- 3:55Speaker 1: understands the numbers. He's the presentation is solid listen.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Disapproval on the economy.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Surely that same poll would show Democrats with a big
- 4:06Speaker 3: advantage in the race for Congress, you would think. But
- 4:08Speaker 3: I think this poll serves as a big time reality
- 4:11Speaker 3: check for Democrats, and that is it ain't over yet,
- 4:15Speaker 3: especially with the redistrict thing. When we look ahead to
- 4:17Speaker 3: the twenty twenty six race for Congress, you would have
- 4:19Speaker 3: thought that the Democrats lead would expand on the generic
- 4:22Speaker 3: congressional ballot.
- 4:23Speaker 2: It didn't happen.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Look in March, Democrats are up by six points. Look
- 4:27Speaker 3: at this now, Democrats are up by three points. And
- 4:30Speaker 3: I want you to note the yellow lettering no clear leader.
- 4:33Speaker 3: It is within the margin of error.
- 4:35Speaker 2: So despite all of the talk.
- 4:37Speaker 3: About Donald Trump's unpopularity, the fact is Republicans very much
- 4:42Speaker 3: remain in the game when it comes to the congressional midterms,
- 4:45Speaker 3: which are occurring in much six or seven months.
- 4:47Speaker 2: At this point. Yet, now.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I wanted at least on the record that you sat
- 4:53Speaker 1: with me in downtown Indianapolis Trump one year and one
- 4:56Speaker 1: month later. We had the red tie on and we
- 4:58Speaker 1: were drinking grape bourbon, eating incredible food, and I said
- 5:02Speaker 1: the words that Republicans have a path to victory. I
- 5:07Speaker 1: knew what the Democrats were going to run on. I
- 5:09Speaker 1: knew what Republicans needed to run on. Here's the path.
- 5:14Speaker 1: The idea that Republicans are out of this was always nonsense. Now,
- 5:21Speaker 1: I did not anticipate the real lack of effort from
- 5:27Speaker 1: Republicans that I am seeing, and I think you are
- 5:30Speaker 1: seeing in many.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Parts of the country.
- 5:34Speaker 1: What I also did not see, I hoped for but
- 5:38Speaker 1: did not see at the time, is that people who
- 5:42Speaker 1: are normal are looking at this political left party and saying,
- 5:46Speaker 1: I don't want to be anywhere near that. These people
- 5:48Speaker 1: are awful, They're crazed, they're nuts, no thanks, and are
- 5:57Speaker 1: pushing away that maybe, just maybe there is a conversation
- 6:03Speaker 1: about policy to be had.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Now. Do I think Trump is his own worst enemy? Yes?
- 6:09Speaker 2: Do I think Trump loses the plot when he should
- 6:14Speaker 2: be focused on being quiet. Yes.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Do I think that the madness allows the press to
- 6:21Speaker 1: engage in more yelling, screaming, narrative pushing.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Yes. None of that yet seems to be.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Having an effect, a growing of the Democrat based growing
- 6:35Speaker 1: their opportunities for these midterms.
- 6:37Speaker 2: The numbers don't show it.
- 6:41Speaker 1: If Republicans would actually run, would actually fight, would engage
- 6:46Speaker 1: in policy, would share their story, would push their own narrative,
- 6:49Speaker 1: their own strengths, I would feel much better. Last thing
- 6:55Speaker 1: I need is a nail bier come November.
- 7:01Speaker 2: But this is another story about how.
- 7:02Speaker 1: The Democratic Party has zero connectivity with the media.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Shore with Mark Ruffalo.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Absolutely with Americans who are paying the taxes, paying the
- 7:13Speaker 1: bills and are tired of being told that they're terrible people.
- 7:16Speaker 2: And oh, by the way, we can.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Transition to your children without telling you. Yeah, those people
- 7:21Speaker 1: are on our side. There are people We're in this together,
- 7:24Speaker 1: even we don't agree about everything. Those people are telling
- 7:27Speaker 1: a story right now, and I'm listening
