Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: All right, all right, jo Yo, calling to you alive
- 0:08Speaker 1: from Philly. It's the Folly and Tony Fosco Show as always,
- 0:14Speaker 1: Polly Foolsco here with Tony Foolsco and Tony. You know,
- 0:18Speaker 1: we have to start the show today, unfortunately with a
- 0:21Speaker 1: little disappointing those for the people out there. We were
- 0:25Speaker 1: expecting to have super Bowl Hero, living legend Nick Foles
- 0:29Speaker 1: on the show. But you know, he's been getting so
- 0:32Speaker 1: many offers from other teams. Yeah that's a good thing.
- 0:36Speaker 1: And you know, he felt really bad because he didn't
- 0:38Speaker 1: have time, you know, fielding all those offers. So we
- 0:40Speaker 1: told him, hey, Nick, don't worry about it, free pass
- 0:43Speaker 1: all good. You do what you need to do. Uh. So,
- 0:47Speaker 1: you know, luckily we lined up a pretty decent guest
- 0:50Speaker 1: for this week. I like last week, well we had
- 0:52Speaker 1: Greg Jennings, Packers receiver who just dropped the ball like
- 0:56Speaker 1: he did so many times in his career. Uh yeah.
- 1:00Speaker 1: But today's guest, well, a little backstory here. We saw
- 1:03Speaker 1: him when we were watching the Knicks game at our cousin, Teresa's.
- 1:07Speaker 1: You know, she lives out in Camden. Her TV picks
- 1:10Speaker 1: up the ABC New York affiliate there and We kept
- 1:13Speaker 1: seeing this guy, didn't we Tony the sports anchor there,
- 1:16Speaker 1: he's all smiley and happy, you know, and we're sitting
- 1:19Speaker 1: there thinking, this guy, what's he's smiling about? He covers
- 1:22Speaker 1: the embarrassment that's the New York sports scene. How can
- 1:26Speaker 1: it be so happy? Is he you know, demented or something. Well,
- 1:28Speaker 1: you know, we're gonna ask him and find out, and uh,
- 1:31Speaker 1: we're also gonna throw a little curveball at him on
- 1:33Speaker 1: we don't here we are anyway, lead sports anchor for
- 1:37Speaker 1: ABC seven New York. Ryan Field. By the way, you
- 1:42Speaker 1: know fun fact about Ryan Field. He used to guest
- 1:45Speaker 1: host Fox Sports Live. Yeah, one of the great sports
- 1:49Speaker 1: studio shows of all time. Still can't believe they canceled. Yeah,
- 1:54Speaker 1: meat though, because you know it was so great about
- 1:56Speaker 1: that show is it's what they called in the business
- 1:59Speaker 1: a Hybridge show. It wasn't just sports knows, No, you
- 2:02Speaker 1: had high profile athletes being paid big money to talk
- 2:06Speaker 1: about sports they never played, you know, just a great
- 2:08Speaker 1: idea and you know it was the show that finally
- 2:11Speaker 1: answered the question what does Andy Roddick think of what's
- 2:14Speaker 1: going on in Major League Baseball? Yeah? Also, what does
- 2:18Speaker 1: Gary Payton think about Serena Williams us open chances exactly there.
- 2:24Speaker 1: You know, I just really missed that show and luckily
- 2:27Speaker 1: we got Ryan Field on, you know, kind of bring
- 2:29Speaker 1: back some of the magic in a good way there. Anyway,
- 2:33Speaker 1: we're gonna get to him in a few minutes, but
- 2:35Speaker 1: we're gonna do a new segment on this show. You know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: Tony and I were always brainstorm and new ideas, keeping
- 2:41Speaker 1: it fresh. That's why we've been on the f you
- 2:43Speaker 1: know for twenty two years in counting. Now there's something
- 2:45Speaker 1: that people are saying right now, people that is downright
- 2:48Speaker 1: offensive and frankly so stupid, that we need to show
- 2:52Speaker 1: them the era of their waves. It's a new segment
- 2:55Speaker 1: called reality Check. Reality Check, all right. The super Bowl
- 3:01Speaker 1: is far in the rear view mirror. It's old news.
- 3:04Speaker 1: You know, nobody cares anymore, and nobody even cared in
- 3:07Speaker 1: the first place. And yet we still hear people saying
- 3:10Speaker 1: that it's quote unquote amazing that Tom Brady won his
- 3:14Speaker 1: seventh Super Bowl. Not only is this not the biggest
- 3:17Speaker 1: accomplishment in sports history, it's not even the biggest accomplishment
- 3:21Speaker 1: in sports this year. Yep. The media is hiding the
- 3:25Speaker 1: truth as they always do. So it's our job as
- 3:28Speaker 1: sports journalist to show you what else is going on,
- 3:31Speaker 1: the bigger, more important stories, and when you see them,
- 3:35Speaker 1: you'll realize, you know, what Tom Brady quote unquote achieved
- 3:38Speaker 1: is not impressive at all. Unimpressive. Let's start in the NBA, Tony,
- 3:43Speaker 1: right with Joel Embiid having an m v P season
- 3:47Speaker 1: averaging nearly thirty points per game, and Tony, let me
- 3:51Speaker 1: ask you, what was the Tampa Bay Bucks offense averaging
- 3:55Speaker 1: all year thirty points per game? Basically the same numbers
- 4:00Speaker 1: Joe l embat is putting up by himself. There you go,
- 4:04Speaker 1: one man doing it all by himself, unlike Tom Brady,
- 4:08Speaker 1: who clearly needed tons of help as we all know.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Reality check. Another huge accomplishment in sports, bigger than Brady.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Brooks Kepta, the golfer won the Waste Management Open and
- 4:22Speaker 1: marked his eighth PG eight Tour victory. And if you
- 4:25Speaker 1: know anything about golf, you know winning a PGA Tour
- 4:28Speaker 1: event is far more impressive than winning a Super Bowl. Yeah.
- 4:33Speaker 1: In a football game, tom Brady has to face eleven players.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Brooks Kepta had to defeat three hundred fifty other players
- 4:42Speaker 1: and that tournament alone, if the Chiefs had three hundred
- 4:46Speaker 1: fifty players on defense, you think Tom Brady wins that game? Absolutely,
- 4:51Speaker 1: not no chance, no chance, reality check. And you know
- 4:56Speaker 1: we'll keep the ball rolling here. You know, another stunner
- 4:59Speaker 1: just the other in men's Division one lacrosse there was
- 5:02Speaker 1: a bond burner between St. John's and Hofstra went into
- 5:06Speaker 1: ot with St. John's pulling out the victory. But we
- 5:10Speaker 1: gotta tip our cap to Hofstra's Ryan Tierney, who scored
- 5:15Speaker 1: eight goals and three assists for a total of eleven points.
- 5:19Speaker 1: And people did you'll see this mentioned once on ESPN
- 5:23Speaker 1: FS one, food bo TV No and that, people is
- 5:27Speaker 1: a shame. What Ryan Tierney did was much more impressive
- 5:31Speaker 1: than Tom Brady because think about it. Tom Brady just
- 5:35Speaker 1: has to throw a ball into an end zone that's
- 5:38Speaker 1: fifty three yards wide, but a lacrosse net is only
- 5:42Speaker 1: three feet wide. That requires pen point precision. There you go,
- 5:48Speaker 1: great points, Tony. You know we could just keep going
- 5:50Speaker 1: on and on here. I mean, you know, you should
- 5:52Speaker 1: see what's going on in Asian ping pong right now,
- 5:55Speaker 1: but hey, we gotta guess, I see him are coming
- 5:58Speaker 1: on the line there, so let's bring him on the
- 6:01Speaker 1: FUSCO satellite network. Alright, this guy currently the lead sports
- 6:09Speaker 1: anchor for ABC seven there in New York. Before that
- 6:12Speaker 1: was a host at Fox Sports. You know you saw
- 6:14Speaker 1: him on Fox Sports Live, as we told you, the
- 6:17Speaker 1: America's preed Game, which was a very underrated studio show. Yeah. Oh,
- 6:22Speaker 1: you're already talking. All right, Well, you know what's underrated
- 6:25Speaker 1: as your skill at being a guest. Hold on, I'm
- 6:27Speaker 1: not done. Welcome to the show, Ryan Field, Okay, now
- 6:31Speaker 1: you can talk. Well, hey, I thought I was muted.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I guess I wasn't. My bad, didn't mean to step
- 6:36Speaker 1: on it. Well you're too late. Yeah, thanks for having
- 6:39Speaker 1: me out with a couple of Philly guys as a
- 6:41Speaker 1: dream come true, I'll tell you. Well, alright, enough, as
- 6:43Speaker 1: we know, first of all, we got to talk about
- 6:45Speaker 1: the big newsmaker. Everybody talking, Ryan Tierney. Your thoughts on
- 6:50Speaker 1: his legendary performance, on whose performance? What are you sorry?
- 6:57Speaker 1: I thought you were the lead anchor and Ryan t
- 7:00Speaker 1: Any he's the hot stroll lacrosse play. I had eleven points.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Don't know that that was actually our lead story yesterday
- 7:07Speaker 1: and I was so I'm gonna have to go. I'm
- 7:09Speaker 1: gonna have to defer that question to our weekend sports anchor, who,
- 7:12Speaker 1: of course you know, with how to lacrosse plays. We
- 7:15Speaker 1: are all over it all the time. You talk to
- 7:21Speaker 1: their second fiddle, and we were doing some research on you. Now.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I don't know if you're aware of this, but the
- 7:28Speaker 1: name of the stadium with the Northwestern football team plays
- 7:33Speaker 1: is called Ryan Field. So that begs the question, do
- 7:37Speaker 1: people have us show up at your house knock on
- 7:39Speaker 1: your door, like, hey, we're here for the game. Where's
- 7:42Speaker 1: the entrance to the stadium. Isn't this Ryan Field? Well,
- 7:46Speaker 1: I mean I've had a couple of girls come over
- 7:48Speaker 1: looking to score. If that's what you mean. You know
- 7:52Speaker 1: what I mean? Now, don't you know we all want
- 7:55Speaker 1: to talk about you GETT hosted Fox Sports Live. You know,
- 7:57Speaker 1: we gotta ask what you have into miidated by Andy
- 8:01Speaker 1: Roddick's massive knowledge of baseball and the NFL draft, like
- 8:05Speaker 1: you know, were you're afraid to talk around him? So
- 8:07Speaker 1: you just, you know, just kind of sat there and
- 8:09Speaker 1: stayed quiet. Yeah, you know where he he made up
- 8:12Speaker 1: in that regard. I tried to talk more tennis with
- 8:15Speaker 1: him because I felt like I knew more about it
- 8:16Speaker 1: than he did, which you know he might not have
- 8:18Speaker 1: agreed with, but there was a certain timidation factor when
- 8:21Speaker 1: he came on talking about baseball and basketball. Uh. There
- 8:24Speaker 1: might have also been a time where his wife's name,
- 8:28Speaker 1: she's she's beautiful. What's his wife's name? The work in
- 8:32Speaker 1: New York. You should know the five visions correct, uh
- 8:36Speaker 1: and not not. Queen's Decker might Bronx Decker, Brooklyn Decker.
- 8:41Speaker 1: So she was in the cafeteria at Fox as you
- 8:45Speaker 1: guys well know you've been, and I was looking at her.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm like, who the hell is that? I walked in
- 8:52Speaker 1: and Andy had his back to me, and she looked
- 8:55Speaker 1: at me and made eyes and then he turns her
- 8:57Speaker 1: round and it's Andy Roddick. He's like, hey, what are
- 9:00Speaker 1: you doing life? It was. It was just like a
- 9:04Speaker 1: funny ha ha moment, but definitely busted in car. Watch
- 9:07Speaker 1: out for that field forehand, watch out d look like
- 9:12Speaker 1: you were doing a back end there. If you asked me,
- 9:14Speaker 1: all right, look, here's what we want to know about you.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Let's get down the brass tacks there as they say,
- 9:19Speaker 1: all right, you know we're from Philly. We talk Philly sports,
- 9:22Speaker 1: great sports, town the Bank, of course, you know, we
- 9:25Speaker 1: looked it up. We found that you're from Troy, Michigan.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Then we go on Twitter and we see all you're
- 9:32Speaker 1: talking about is the Detroit Pistons. What's going on here?
- 9:35Speaker 1: I mean, don't you feel like you know you're misleading
- 9:37Speaker 1: the public by being a New York sports anchor. Well,
- 9:40Speaker 1: you know, there just hasn't been much to talk about
- 9:42Speaker 1: in New York sports the last few days, so all
- 9:44Speaker 1: the news has come out of my hometown. So, you know,
- 9:46Speaker 1: I try to I try to be well rounded, guys,
- 9:48Speaker 1: and big things were happening in Philly, i'd be talking
- 9:49Speaker 1: about that. But the big news today was Blake Griffin,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and we were talking all about that. You know, girls,
- 9:54Speaker 1: we're trying to be on top of it. Since when
- 9:56Speaker 1: does anyone cared about Blake Griffin? What is this? It's
- 9:59Speaker 1: been at least four or five years since that's been
- 10:01Speaker 1: the case. So all the more reason that it caught
- 10:03Speaker 1: your attention that I was talking about him on Twitter.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I holds, let's not lose focus yet. We want to
- 10:08Speaker 1: know why the hell you're so happy. We want to
- 10:11Speaker 1: know how you can be so happy all the time
- 10:13Speaker 1: when you cover such terrible teams like the Knicks, the Giants,
- 10:17Speaker 1: the Jets. Jets certainly aren't making me smile. I can
- 10:19Speaker 1: tell you that much. There's certainly not. Yeah, how can
- 10:22Speaker 1: you be so happy all the time? There's something wrong?
- 10:25Speaker 1: I mean, what's you? Don't you make it? I mean,
- 10:28Speaker 1: you gotta you gotta fake some enthusiasm for these teams.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I mean no, I mean how about the Knicks though?
- 10:33Speaker 1: Right now the number seven in the East, if the
- 10:35Speaker 1: if the season and today wait wait, wait, which teams?
- 10:39Speaker 1: Which teams number one the first time since Melo was
- 10:41Speaker 1: on the team. Yeah, but which team's number? Which teams
- 10:45Speaker 1: number one? You know, I was surprised. I saw that
- 10:47Speaker 1: it was the Philadelphia the only one. See. This is
- 10:52Speaker 1: why I wouldn't you agree with this? The New York.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I think New York's rubbing off on you because New
- 10:58Speaker 1: York's the worst sports see in America. Everybody is a haita.
- 11:02Speaker 1: But they got the worst teams. They all suck the worst.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Come on, don't you agree this? New York's a terrible
- 11:07Speaker 1: sports down coming. I think New York's are great sports
- 11:09Speaker 1: fund is she is begging for a winner voice. I mean,
- 11:12Speaker 1: let's put it in perspective here. I got here in sixteen.
- 11:14Speaker 1: The Giants have been the one playoff game since then. Uh,
- 11:17Speaker 1: the Yankees have been to a handful of playoff series.
- 11:20Speaker 1: The Mets have never been, the Jets have never been.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Rangers and Islanders a couple of times, maybe the Devil's
- 11:27Speaker 1: but it's it's been some tough times. Voice, But you know,
- 11:29Speaker 1: people are people, are you? You can't blame them for
- 11:31Speaker 1: being jaded, which, of course Philly fans would never be
- 11:34Speaker 1: jaded about anything. All right, Well, you know, based on
- 11:38Speaker 1: that subject, would be a journalist here you you work for?
- 11:41Speaker 1: You know a news organization put on your journalist had
- 11:44Speaker 1: be unbiased. If you had to pick of all the
- 11:47Speaker 1: New York teams, which one you would say, would you
- 11:49Speaker 1: say is closest to winning a title? Right now? Probably
- 11:52Speaker 1: the Yankees. I think that goes without saying no, no, no, wrong, wrong,
- 11:57Speaker 1: the correct, the correct, The correct answer is none of them. See,
- 12:00Speaker 1: you're biased, You're biased? Wait? Am I on mute again?
- 12:05Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm not. Okay, my fault? What is going
- 12:08Speaker 1: on here? I thought I thought that comment and you
- 12:12Speaker 1: didn't hear me. I was muted. What did you say?
- 12:14Speaker 1: You want to get your Witty retorted, Jason, isn't he
- 12:17Speaker 1: producing this show? Jay? He trust me. You don't want
- 12:23Speaker 1: to rely on him for it. But yeah, he did
- 12:26Speaker 1: give us this note. Is this true that you were
- 12:28Speaker 1: on the Prices right back in the day. That is true?
- 12:31Speaker 1: So what do you win? What happened? Did you play Planko? Yeah?
- 12:35Speaker 1: I did not play Planko and I didn't play the
- 12:37Speaker 1: damn mountain climber game, which is the one I really
- 12:39Speaker 1: wanted it. It's called cliff Everybody, your price is right.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I had to play a pushover, which I had never
- 12:47Speaker 1: ever heard of, the damn game. But of course I
- 12:49Speaker 1: get on the show and I push over. I got
- 12:51Speaker 1: Bob Barker standing up there. This was the Bob Barker era.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Rod Roddy. You can find the clip on YouTube. We
- 12:56Speaker 1: got it all edited. You'll love it. Twenty years ago
- 12:59Speaker 1: this month, I was on the Prices right to want
- 13:02Speaker 1: a trip to Barcelona. Won the one, the one the
- 13:05Speaker 1: Big Wheel got all the way to the Showcase showdown,
- 13:08Speaker 1: just to over bid in the end. Well, maybe maybe
- 13:14Speaker 1: your luck will change today, because guess what, in the
- 13:17Speaker 1: spirit of the Prices right and your twenty anniversary being
- 13:20Speaker 1: on the show We're gonna play a game with you
- 13:23Speaker 1: right now, right here on the show. You're ready, Yeah?
- 13:26Speaker 1: Is it plinko U? No, Unfortunately that that budget doesn't
- 13:30Speaker 1: allow for that. This one is called guess the value.
- 13:34Speaker 1: All right, here we go here, we got's do it,
- 13:36Speaker 1: all right, Bryan, this is how this is gonna work.
- 13:39Speaker 1: We're gonna name an athlete and we want you to
- 13:41Speaker 1: tell us how much his next contract should be per year. Okay,
- 13:45Speaker 1: you have to come within a million dollars, all right
- 13:47Speaker 1: now then, now this is this is a real player
- 13:51Speaker 1: with a real contract. Correct, correct, And these numbers have
- 13:54Speaker 1: all been independently vetted by the accounting firm of Deloitte
- 13:59Speaker 1: and right. Okay, so here, look this is how it works.
- 14:03Speaker 1: If you get to two out of three, get two
- 14:05Speaker 1: out of three correct, we will give you the grand prize,
- 14:08Speaker 1: a free cost stereo and subwolve of hook up Courtacy
- 14:12Speaker 1: of Pearly and Tony's cost stereo. Down on thirty second
- 14:15Speaker 1: and go straight behind the wah wah alright eight six
- 14:18Speaker 1: Pontiac Sunfire. Yeah, all right, here we go, real n
- 14:24Speaker 1: here we go, all right, guess the value? Here we
- 14:26Speaker 1: go first up corson Wentz guess the value of his
- 14:32Speaker 1: salary for next year. Correct? Boy, I'm gonna say, what's
- 14:38Speaker 1: Wentz making? Sorry? Wrong? The correct answer is zero dollars.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Tell him Tony after this past season, corson Wentz needs
- 14:52Speaker 1: to play for free until he wins back the trust
- 14:56Speaker 1: of Eagles fans say you're going, and that's never gonna happen.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Let's be honest. Maybe right may be right, but you
- 15:02Speaker 1: are wrong. As far as the times of this game go,
- 15:06Speaker 1: you can still turn it around. We can still turn
- 15:08Speaker 1: it around. Here's the next one. Patrick Mahomes, guess the value.
- 15:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, I'm gonna go buy prices right rules
- 15:19Speaker 1: and say one dollar. You got it right. He's within
- 15:22Speaker 1: a million dollars right now. Patrick Mahomes is worth two
- 15:27Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars. Good work. Tell him right on
- 15:31Speaker 1: the money. Mahomes is worth only two hundred and fifty
- 15:34Speaker 1: dollars because he was way overpaid for his terrible performance
- 15:38Speaker 1: in the Super Bowl. In fact, don't be surprised if
- 15:42Speaker 1: the Chiefs cut him and draft another quarterback. This and
- 15:46Speaker 1: you know, be a perfect landing place for Mahomes when
- 15:48Speaker 1: they do cut him. Philadelphia, we got Jalen Hurts, So
- 15:53Speaker 1: we'll see, we'll see. That's a toss up there, Hurts. Well,
- 15:57Speaker 1: look you're one and one, just like Patrick Mahomes is
- 16:00Speaker 1: in the Super Bowl. So here you go. This is
- 16:01Speaker 1: the decider right here. Okay, you for all the marvels,
- 16:06Speaker 1: all right, then you know you get this one right,
- 16:08Speaker 1: will throw in an eight disc CD change it though.
- 16:10Speaker 1: All right, here we go, Ryan Tierney, guess the value? Yeah,
- 16:17Speaker 1: how many points? Yesterday? Second, let in Hofstra history, and
- 16:24Speaker 1: are we under the assumption that athletes are now getting
- 16:26Speaker 1: paid by the n C double a with their image
- 16:28Speaker 1: and likeness because he was on the front page of
- 16:30Speaker 1: the news, uh, the New York Times, the Daily News.
- 16:33Speaker 1: And then of the question that he can now guess
- 16:38Speaker 1: and imagine all the sports leagues are gonna be in
- 16:41Speaker 1: hot the soup of Ryant and stop giving away from
- 16:44Speaker 1: you have to stick by f CC regulations here, keep
- 16:48Speaker 1: this game set. I'm gonna say twenty. Sorry, you're wrong.
- 16:58Speaker 1: The correct answer is in affinity. Yeah, you can't put
- 17:02Speaker 1: a number on the greatness of Ryan Tierney. You can't.
- 17:08Speaker 1: So Ryan, unfortunately, you lose the game. No CD changing,
- 17:12Speaker 1: no sub Wolfer, And you know, because you lost out
- 17:15Speaker 1: of fanness to us. I think you need to do
- 17:17Speaker 1: something that we ask you to do, so right now,
- 17:20Speaker 1: we want you to admit publicly that New York is
- 17:23Speaker 1: the worst sports city in America, and you know, throw
- 17:26Speaker 1: in that you're jealous that you don't work in Philly.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Go ahead. Ah, he's pulling that mute shit again. People. Nah,
- 17:37Speaker 1: guess you're gonna be mute because you're off the show
- 17:46Speaker 1: kid trip of the show for you. You guys are
- 17:56Speaker 1: the worst the show Steaks should be doing this show. Hell,
- 18:01Speaker 1: I'm not the show ever again. Oh yeah, good, we
- 18:04Speaker 1: don't care. We don't care. Looks like he lost another
- 18:08Speaker 1: showcase show down, a double loser. Yeah, alright, Look, let's
- 18:13Speaker 1: just calm down here, because you know, we got big
- 18:15Speaker 1: business to do, as we always do at this point
- 18:17Speaker 1: in the show. And you know, people, we're not just
- 18:20Speaker 1: on their talent here. We're businessmen and we know that
- 18:23Speaker 1: right now due to our guest, you know, being from
- 18:26Speaker 1: New York, we have more New York listeners for this episode.
- 18:29Speaker 1: So that's why we're gonna do an ad right now
- 18:32Speaker 1: for a longstanding institution in the city, a real historical
- 18:36Speaker 1: monument there basically attribute to baseball and taxpayer money city Field.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Are you looking for a special Sunday Funday out with
- 18:46Speaker 1: your family, why not taking a Mets game at City Field.
- 18:50Speaker 1: You can now take a family of four there for
- 18:52Speaker 1: the low cost of just under seven thousand, eight hundred
- 18:55Speaker 1: and fifty dollars. City Field is the perfect way for
- 18:58Speaker 1: you to enjoy yourself. No matter who you happened to be,
- 19:02Speaker 1: hedge fund manager, a fortune five hundred CEO, president of
- 19:06Speaker 1: the World Bank. What, Jerry Seinfeld, Tony, you recently had
- 19:11Speaker 1: a wonderful day out at city Field? Tell the people. Yeah,
- 19:15Speaker 1: So I took this girl I kind of been seeing
- 19:18Speaker 1: on a day trip to New York. She wanted to
- 19:21Speaker 1: go see some art museum. But when we got there,
- 19:24Speaker 1: I said, I got something way better than this, and
- 19:29Speaker 1: I took her to City Field to see the Phillies
- 19:32Speaker 1: play the Mets. And in the afternoon game, I got
- 19:35Speaker 1: up to the box office and asked for two tickets
- 19:38Speaker 1: to the upper mezzanine. But when I looked into my wallet,
- 19:43Speaker 1: I realized I didn't have the necessary three thousand, six
- 19:47Speaker 1: hundred and eighty dollars. However, I did have enough money
- 19:51Speaker 1: to get us a parking spot fifteen miles from the stadium.
- 19:56Speaker 1: So we parked, turned on the radio and watched the
- 20:00Speaker 1: stadium from afar and I said to her, you want
- 20:04Speaker 1: our look at the arches in that stadium entrance. That's odd.
- 20:10Speaker 1: And then she said, Wow, you truly are a man
- 20:15Speaker 1: of the world. And then she reached into my pants
- 20:19Speaker 1: and gave me a handy. What a wonderful story and
- 20:23Speaker 1: a terrific example of how the game of baseball was
- 20:27Speaker 1: meant to be enjoyed. Called the City Field box office
- 20:30Speaker 1: for season tickets right now. They're on sale at the
- 20:33Speaker 1: low low price of seven point two million dollars each.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Al Right, well that wraps up by advertisement, and hey,
- 20:40Speaker 1: that wraps up the show. So producer, it's a producer,
- 20:47Speaker 1: Jay who's who has not learned the kata producing is
- 20:52Speaker 1: to stop talking? Yeah, yeah, but I have to correct you, Paul.
- 20:56Speaker 1: You said that you don't have to, but whatever, go
- 20:58Speaker 1: you said. There were three fifty rs in the field
- 21:00Speaker 1: at the Waste Management Open. The average p G A
- 21:04Speaker 1: tour field doesn't have nearly that amount of players. The
- 21:07Speaker 1: Waste Management Open only had about a hundred and fifty. Well,
- 21:12Speaker 1: on the subject of waste management, that's what it's like
- 21:16Speaker 1: to manage you. You're a waste. Yeah, this part of
- 21:19Speaker 1: the show is a waste of time. There you go,
- 21:22Speaker 1: all right, so let's move it along. Second second, One second, Tony,
- 21:25Speaker 1: you set a lacrosse that is three ft wide. It's
- 21:28Speaker 1: actually six ft wide. Yeah, well you're gonna be six
- 21:33Speaker 1: ft under. Yeah, I'm gonna look across your name off
- 21:36Speaker 1: the show, all right. Last one, Paully, I think early
- 21:40Speaker 1: in the show you meant to say the error of
- 21:43Speaker 1: his ways, but instead you said the error of his
- 21:47Speaker 1: waves with a V. Well, uh, you have a V
- 21:53Speaker 1: if you know what I mean. Yeah, I'm gonna stick
- 21:56Speaker 1: my foot up your V. Yeah. You know that's enough
- 21:58Speaker 1: out of you. We to apologize, seriously, do everyone listening
- 22:02Speaker 1: out here, because we really mean it this time. We're
- 22:05Speaker 1: gonna get rid of him. So please send in your
- 22:07Speaker 1: resume sending the Paulie and Tony Fusco Show at gmail
- 22:10Speaker 1: dot com. And you know why you're at it, Send
- 22:13Speaker 1: j a bus ticket to the middle of Alaska because
- 22:16Speaker 1: we want to get rid of him. Anyway. On a
- 22:18Speaker 1: better note, here, Tony, this justin breaking those on the

- 22:36Speaker 1: to it. Anyway, We're not going to thank that other
