  SPEAKER_00: And um, the Lord is squeezing me and testing me to prune me and to refine me right now, and asking the question of what is this testimony that he's knitting in me so that I can boldly lead from experience and not from theory.

  SPEAKER_00: And so this is coming from asking the Lord to teach me to war on behalf of my husband as a woman who fears God, seeks God, and would die to self to see victory, freedom, and fire for my husband.

  SPEAKER_00: And so I asked this question of help, help me, Lord, teach me.

  SPEAKER_00: And this morning he did not fail.

  SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna share with you um eight steps that he gave me.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna dive deeply into each of them.

  SPEAKER_00: Sorry, that's gonna be a training that is reserved for a high-level wife, but I'm gonna give you the overview, which is powerful in and of itself.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm so excited.

  SPEAKER_00: I really am.

  SPEAKER_00: Like God is just doing a thing, and he just keeps reminding me of 2 Corinthians 10, 4.

  SPEAKER_00: For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but have divine power to destroy strongholds.

  SPEAKER_00: And so many Christian wives who are faithful to the Lord actually walk in war against their husbands rather than learning to war for their husbands.

  SPEAKER_00: And so the the Lord revealed to me and just started speaking to me about the fact that we are help meets, we are easers in in what that looks like in action is that we meet our husbands where they are so that we can help them.

  SPEAKER_00: We meet them where they are so that we can help them.

  SPEAKER_00: So let me dive into these eight steps of what it looks like to be a help meet in action to war on behalf of your husband.

  SPEAKER_00: So the first is to connect, to connect deeply, always connect, always seek to connect before anything else.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and so for my husband and I, this looked like God gave us this picture back in 2022 when we ran a marathon together, that there were different points in that race where my husband had to carry me and encourage me and challenge me onward.

  SPEAKER_00: And then there were points in that race where I had to encourage my husband, speaking boldly to him, that he is a man who doesn't quit, that he is a man who has a mastered mindset and that he can do anything that he sets his mind to.

  SPEAKER_00: And I had to carry him at points.

  SPEAKER_00: And so when you're thinking of connection, think of it as loving your husband's heart and meeting him where he's at.

  SPEAKER_00: The second thing is to see him as God sees him, right?

  SPEAKER_00: If there are strongholds over your husband that need to be broken off, that the Lord is asking him to lay down, see him in his weakness, see him as not experiencing the fullness of God because these things are still being held on to.

  SPEAKER_00: Have mercy for him, show him that mercy.

  SPEAKER_00: Thirdly, humble yourself, denying yourself to see him lifted up.

  SPEAKER_00: The practical way that we do that is by fasting.

  SPEAKER_00: This is this is how we deny our flesh.

  SPEAKER_00: We master our flesh, we master our mind, and we take both under the authority and subjection to God and his spirit working in and through us.

  SPEAKER_00: Fourthly, we declare and expect victory for our husbands.

  SPEAKER_00: There is no weapon formed against us that will prosper.

  SPEAKER_00: This is our heritage as children of the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: So we declare it boldly and we expect it to happen.

  SPEAKER_00: God has had the song on repeat in my head from elevation worship of I'm gonna see a victory.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna see a victory, for the battle belongs to the Lord, and no weapon formed against me shall prosper.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna see a victory over and over.

  SPEAKER_00: Number five, take up weapons of praise and faith, right?

  SPEAKER_00: It's faith, the shield of faith that extinguishes every fiery dart from the enemy.

  SPEAKER_00: And let me tell you, sister, as you step into this, as you step into intercede on behalf of your husband, the enemy is going to hold nothing back.

  SPEAKER_00: You're going to come toe-to-toe and face to face with that scoundrel.

  SPEAKER_00: And you are not going to back down.

  SPEAKER_00: Because your weapon of faith, faith that God can do it, you can't, but God can.

  SPEAKER_00: Your weapon of praise that in the face of the enemy snarling at you, you will praise your God in heaven for who he is and what he's about to do.

  SPEAKER_00: Six, as long as it takes without a word, accept encouragement and love.

  SPEAKER_00: First Peter 3:1 through two three one through two tells us to win our husbands to the Lord without a word by our pure and godly conduct.

  SPEAKER_00: Sit with that and let it challenge your heart.

  SPEAKER_00: Seven, lean in, do not withhold, because in your weakness the Lord is your strength, and you stand in his might.

  SPEAKER_00: Our body, your body is not your own.

  SPEAKER_00: It was bought, paid for with the price of Christ's blood.

  SPEAKER_00: And with this, you must lay down your hurts daily and hourly.

  SPEAKER_00: Do not rehearse them.

  SPEAKER_00: Do not allow them to be your master and dictate how you think, speak, and act.

  SPEAKER_00: Lay them down.

  SPEAKER_00: God says, Blessed is the poor in spirit.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay?

  SPEAKER_00: And he sees every tear.

  SPEAKER_00: And he holds them in his hands.

  SPEAKER_00: And lastly, actually, no, second to last, community.

  SPEAKER_00: Rally the troops to pray, fast, and praise with you.

  SPEAKER_00: The people who have fruit in their lives, it is evident that you see that when you ask them to pray and fast and praise with you as the Lord leads them, that they will.

  SPEAKER_00: And they will hold up your arms in that battle as they get weary.

  SPEAKER_00: And number nine, see the maximum potential that God will not waste to give you preparation and experience, not theory.

  SPEAKER_00: This is what the enemy meant for evil.

  SPEAKER_00: God is not going to let to go to waste, He is going to use it for the good and saving of many, just like in Genesis 50.

  SPEAKER_00: With uh Joseph and all that.

  SPEAKER_00: We get to rejoice in our sufferings because we know that it produces endurance.

  SPEAKER_00: Learn to war on behalf of your husband rather than fighting against him in the flesh and watch God move.
