- 0:00Welcome back to The Immutable Word and Happy New Year. Hope everyone has had
- 0:03some time to spend with family and maybe friends, maybe even sitting down and
- 0:08reflecting on what they're looking to do in the new year and reflecting on the old year as well.
- 0:13It's always a great time to really sit down and think about goals and how you're
- 0:18going to accomplish those in 2026.
- 0:21And I did some searching because I always get pretty interested on the metrics
- 0:26about what is the percentage of people who actually achieve their New Year's goal that they set.
- 0:33So, for example, studies suggest, and some evidence suggests,
- 0:37based off of surveys and things like that, that it's in the single digits,
- 0:41and it's pretty astounding.
- 0:43So they say that only about 8% to 9% of people actually achieve the goals they set for New Year's.
- 0:51And there's a multitude of reasons for that. That it's easy to say that I'm
- 0:56just going to go ahead and do something.
- 0:58But if you don't have a plan and it's not specific, it's not time bound,
- 1:03you don't have anything that makes you accountable.
- 1:05Well, guess what? You're likely to fail and people then abandon those goals throughout the year.
- 1:11And so I was just curious, there's a table here, like how quickly do people
- 1:17actually abandon their goals?
- 1:19So the commitment over time tends to decline significantly, and some of the
- 1:26percentages are listed out here.
- 1:28I just did a quick look up on it. But one week after New Year's Day,
- 1:33the percentage of people that are still committed is around 77%.
- 1:37Two weeks, it drops down by 2% to 75%.
- 1:44One month after New Year's Day, it drops down to 64%. And then six months after
- 1:52the new year, it's down to 46% by the time you get to the end of the year.
- 1:56Long-term follow-up, that's where you get that 8% success rate.
- 2:01So it is fairly low when you're thinking about specific goals,
- 2:05whether if it's financial goals, maybe it's educational goals,
- 2:08maybe it's what's the most popular one that's out there, it's weight loss, right? It's health.
- 2:13People want to make the goal or I want to make the goal to be more healthy.
- 2:18What does that actually entail? Because that's a very broad goal.
- 2:21If you want to lose weight, well, maybe a metric can be, maybe success looks
- 2:26like 20 pounds is lost over the course of the year, but what are you going to do?
- 2:30What's actionable about it?
- 2:33There's a pretty good framework when it comes to goals called SMART goals,
- 2:36And that's an acronym that stands for specific measurable.
- 2:44A is actionable. R is realistic.
- 2:47And then T is time-based. So that's a really good framework for building goals.
- 2:52If it meets all of those criteria, then you're more likely to actually achieve
- 2:58them because they're specific. You can measure them.
- 3:01You can keep yourself accountable to them. And if you want to keep it very simple,
- 3:05really, it just needs to be specific and time-based.
- 3:08So maybe somebody has a financial goal and they want to save maybe $10,000 for
- 3:15something very important over the course of a year.
- 3:17It's easy to say, well, I want to save $10,000.
- 3:21Well, is it something that's realistic? Do you have the income to be able to
- 3:25do that? But you need to have a plan.
- 3:28And that plan includes putting that into your budget.
- 3:31And then maybe it's how much you need to take out every week.
- 3:35So if you get paid, you know, there's 52 weeks in a year, maybe you're sitting
- 3:38aside so much every week.
- 3:40So whatever 10,000 is divided by 52 weeks, for example.
- 3:44And I'll do some quick math here while I have my calculator up.
- 3:49But 10,000...
- 3:51Divided by 52 is, you know, you need to put away about $192 a week to achieve
- 3:57that goal. So you got something that's measurable.
- 3:59And then you can go back and revisit that goal and see how you're doing six months in.
- 4:04And here's the thing, maybe you may not achieve the outcome that you're looking
- 4:08for, $10,000, but what if you're 50% successful?
- 4:12You were able to save $5,000. You never abandoned your goal.
- 4:15You stayed as consistent as you could, but things in life popped up.
- 4:18Well, guess what? You still achieve something. You achieve five grand.
- 4:22And this can go for anything else. Like I had a goal of reading at least 12
- 4:28books all the way through in a year.
- 4:30I know that doesn't seem like a whole lot, but I was just trying to be realistic
- 4:35with how life is. It's very busy.
- 4:38So anyways, I encourage folks to sit down and think about goals that way.
- 4:43If they're specific, if they're measurable, if they're actionable,
- 4:47if they're realistic, and if they're time-based, well, guess what?
- 4:51That percentage of actually achieving those goals and meeting the things that
- 4:57you want to accomplish, you're going to have a higher percentage rate of actually completing them.
- 5:02So that's where most people fail from the sounds of it, just from the surveys
- 5:07and the evidence that I see here, is that they just miss those really key components.
- 5:13So anyways, I'm not sure what this has to do with angelology,
- 5:16because this is actually part two of episode 42.
- 5:23Sorry, I'm losing my mind here. So I would suggest folks that are just now tuning
- 5:29in and have not listened to the Angelology episode,
- 5:33definitely listen to that because we're sort of in the middle of the seven classes of life.
- 5:39I will do my best to try to recap here just really briefly.
- 5:44I won't spend too much time on it, but just recap what we covered just in case
- 5:48you just want to go ahead and go through this episode, which is perfectly fine.
- 5:51But I just encourage to go through the previous one because we cover a lot more,
- 5:55cover a lot more detail so just a
- 5:58couple things a couple main points from the very beginning because we also did
- 6:03an intro to it so again i think that's going to be in episode 39 if i'm not
- 6:09mistaken i've been mixing up episodes so apologies but yeah that should be in episode 39.
- 6:16And again if you'd like to stick here and listen to this episode in a way that's
- 6:19perfectly fine but you can backtrack and listen to 39, then 42, and go from there.
- 6:24So in the first episode, we had covered, you know, what are angels?
- 6:28And some of the common misperception of angels. Angels don't have wings, but cherubs do.
- 6:34And the interesting thing about angels and cherubs, people get that confused
- 6:37as they think they're one and the same, and they're not.
- 6:39And that's something that we're actually going to cover in one of the classes here.
- 6:43The thing about angels is that they are indistinguishable from man.
- 6:46They look exactly like them.
- 6:48An angel's primary role is not a messenger.
- 6:52A lot of people think, well, angels deliver messages and things like that.
- 6:56They actually execute judgment, and you can see that throughout the Bible.
- 7:00They pretty much wipe people out.
- 7:02But you'll see that in Exodus, for example, the angel of death,
- 7:05or I think the destroyer.
- 7:07You'll see God using them as judgment against Israel and other places as well.
- 7:11So primarily, they're there to execute judgment. And then going into our last
- 7:17episode, we started to go through the different classes of life,
- 7:20which does include angels, and we spend some time on that, and that's why that
- 7:24episode went kind of long.
- 7:26But the first three classes of life that we went through, and the classes are
- 7:31broken up by categories.
- 7:34Which are composed of classification or the name of the group to which the life
- 7:39form belongs, as an example. And then you have origins.
- 7:43Where are they from? It tells us whether the life form is a creation of God
- 7:48or made by some other means.
- 7:50And then you have residents. Where do they reside? So, do they currently reside
- 7:55in, for example, earth, hell, the first heaven, second heaven, third heaven?
- 8:00And then what is their relation to God? So, it refers to a fallen or just state before God.
- 8:06So, fallen life forms were once in a just standing, for example,
- 8:09but are currently under the curse of sin and separated from God.
- 8:13An interesting note here that's worth calling out, illegitimate life form cannot
- 8:18be classified in a fallen state because neither it nor its progenitors,
- 8:22if it has any, were ever in a justified state before God.
- 8:26All right, so, and then the fifth is redeemable. Are they redeemable,
- 8:31yes or no, or not applicable?
- 8:32So, redeemable states in a yes, no, or not applicable fashion whether the redeeming
- 8:37blood of the Lord Jesus Christ extends to cover the curse and nature of the life form.
- 8:41And then number six, the last, describes a few unique characteristics and details of the life form.
- 8:48So that's the criteria or the categories for each of the life forms that we're covering.
- 8:54The first one that we had covered was creature, which is basically animals,
- 8:58beasts, creeping things like cows, cows, birds, butterflies.
- 9:04Fishes, cats, things like that.
- 9:07That's in the creature class. Just one other note here is that the word creature
- 9:11in the Bible is used in a broad sense that can refer to any living thing created
- 9:17by God, hence the word relationship to creature and create.
- 9:20So it can sometimes refer to man and may even refer to cherubim,
- 9:25if you see Ezekiel 1, but the most common and most used reference is to the animal.
- 9:30And then the second here that we covered was, of course, man.
- 9:34We run through the categories. Man is redeemable.
- 9:39Then you have the angels, the angelic life form, which is where we had stopped.
- 9:45So the remaining to be covered, the remaining four, since we covered three,
- 9:50will be the cherub, which is a very interesting life form.
- 9:54And then celestial creature, which is essentially a spiritual animal.
- 9:58And then symbiotic life form. And then finally, the counterfeit life form.
- 10:05So stay tuned as we cover these. I think that it's really, really interesting
- 10:10stuff going through the different life forms, and we do plan to cover more.
- 10:15This is all based off of the book, What Dwells Beyond by Jeffrey Martis,
- 10:19and we're just covering just chapters 11 and 12.
- 10:21So if you have the book, that's what we're primarily covering right now.
- 10:25Chapters 11 and 12 are great reads, but we do have some plans to cover some
- 10:29other things in here as well, especially around the Angelology series.
- 10:34So, all right, that's enough of me talking.
- 10:37Without further ado, we'll go ahead and jump into this episode.
- 10:41So anyway, so we have the angel class, we have the man class,
- 10:44we have the creature class, then we have the cherub class. So they're a class
- 10:48in and of themselves, okay?
- 10:50They're direct creation of God. They obviously do not reproduce.
- 10:54They're residents, they're in the third heaven, the heavenly cherubim are.
- 10:58And then there's one, and that's going to be the devil himself.
- 11:03He used to be the fifth cherub.
- 11:06There was four cherubs that are identified in the book of Ezekiel.
- 11:10But the Bible describes Lucifer, he says, thou art fallen.
- 11:16He talks about, O cherub, that he said, the anointed cherub that covereth.
- 11:21And these other cherubim, when you find out, these other cherubim actually cover
- 11:27and surround the throne of God.
- 11:30So at some point, the fifth cherub, not the fifth angel, he's not an angel.
- 11:36There's only four cherubim. There's an innumerable company of angels,
- 11:40but there's only four cherub.
- 11:42Distinctions matter. He's called a cherub. He's never called an angel.
- 11:46But the Bible says he can transform himself into an angel of life.
- 11:51That's where people probably get asked up. He's not an angel. He can transform.
- 11:54If you transform into an angel, that means you're not an angel.
- 11:57Which is when it goes to transforming this capability of cherubim.
- 12:01Right. At least that's what's being implied.
- 12:04And of course, these are probably the most weirdest creatures that you see. Very unique.
- 12:11Yeah. So, you know, they can be described as humanoid, as Jeffrey Mardis says
- 12:17here, with two arms, two legs, hands, and feet, and a head.
- 12:19But their appearance is much more extraordinary than that of an ordinary human.
- 12:23Also known as beasts, cherubims are multi-winged. They're the only winged creatures. Well, not the only.
- 12:30You have two women that have stork wings in Zechariah.
- 12:34But they're the only heavenly creatures that are associated directly with God
- 12:39as a direct creation of God to have wings. Okay?
- 12:43Now, Jeffrey Martis says, and he believes that, and the reason why,
- 12:49because you don't see a lot of distinction in Scripture about them,
- 12:52is that seraphim is another name for cherubim.
- 12:56Because they're also described as having wings. And of course,
- 12:59the Ark of the Covenant, and, you know, where the rod that budded,
- 13:04Aaron's rod that budded, and the table, the commandments, are put into the Ark,
- 13:08and it's put into the tabernacle and the Holy of Olies.
- 13:11They put a cherubim there facing each other, two cherubim.
- 13:14And of course, these cherub, they're multi-winged creatures.
- 13:19They have a human-like torso with arms, hands, but their legs are calf-like,
- 13:24and they have two cloven feet. Their heads, which are most unusual,
- 13:28they project four different faces on all four sides.
- 13:32Front, which is a man, the left is an ox, the back is an eagle, and the right is a lion.
- 13:38That's Ezekiel chapter 1, verses 5 through 10.
- 13:41So while the cherub outwardly appear to be a mixture of human and animal life
- 13:47forms, in reality it's not.
- 13:48No human or animals are used to create the cherubim class.
- 13:53Remember, they're a direct creation of God. You know what I mean?
- 13:56They're not a reproduced kind, basically.
- 14:00Yeah, I could see somebody coming to that conclusion like, well,
- 14:02they got the face of a beast and an eagle and a man.
- 14:04Yeah, because the assumption will be, oh, well, a man, an eagle,
- 14:07and an ox, they all came together and created.
- 14:10That's not what they are. So they're not a hybrid life form.
- 14:13They are a direct creation of God. That's why they're in and of their own class. Okay?
- 14:19So no humans, obviously, were used to create the cherub in class.
- 14:22The cherub is not a mixture of other life forms, but like the other six,
- 14:26they're a separate and distinct life form unto themselves.
- 14:30They're confused, obviously, with an angel, because in Roman Catholic imagery, you know what you see?
- 14:36A young, naked little child with wings, a little fat angel child.
- 14:41You know what I mean? That's what they call cherubim. They don't.
- 14:44But guess what? It has nothing to do with the Bible.
- 14:48That's a common theme whenever you come to Roman Catholicism.
- 14:52It has nothing to do with the Bible.
- 14:53Anyway, side note there. Imagine that. That was free. As preachers always say,
- 14:58that was free. It didn't cost anything.
- 15:01He goes, while the Bible describes an innumerable company of angels,
- 15:04Hebrews 12, 22, only five cherubim are mentioned.
- 15:08Ezekiel refers to four living creatures and Revelation refers to four beasts.
- 15:12So Ezekiel 1-5 with Revelation 4, verses 68, Revelation 5, verse 6,
- 15:18verses 8 and 14, and Revelation 6, verses 1 and 6, and Revelation 7, Revelation 14.
- 15:25So obviously you see the beasts mentioned, and those beasts,
- 15:29and the argument that Martis makes is that the beasts in Revelation are your
- 15:33cherubim that you find in Ezekiel.
- 15:35The fifth cherub who specifically enumerated is Lucifer.
- 15:40He was once the anointed cherub that covereth, but sin and iniquity caused this
- 15:46being to lose, you know, his, obviously his place and his power.
- 15:50His position. Right. His position of authority.
- 15:52So that's the cherub class. So cherubs are not angels. So you have the cherub
- 15:56class, you have the angel class, you have man class, creature class.
- 15:59Then you have the celestial creature class. One of my favorites.
- 16:03Direct creation, residence is third heaven.
- 16:07Relation to gods, they're just, redeemable, not applicable.
- 16:10So the title celestial creature is obviously found nowhere in scripture,
- 16:14but it's used to describe the biblical class of supernatural creatures,
- 16:17which reside not in outer space, but exclusively in the third heaven.
- 16:22These life forms have a just non-fallen state before God.
- 16:26They're not under the curse of sin. They're not affected by sin and evidently
- 16:30appear identical to certain earth-based animals.
- 16:33So you have celestial creatures, you have horses of fire, like in 2 Kings 2.11.
- 16:39They're unearthly, supernatural creatures, which exhibit the powers of flight
- 16:42and pervious to fire, the adverse effects of outer space, so forth and so on.
- 16:47And we see the Lord Jesus Christ and his saints descend on these same creatures
- 16:51in Revelation chapter 19,
- 16:53and Elijah rides out in a chariot pulled by these creatures,
- 16:57and Elisha reveals the beings standing in battle array, and so forth and so on.
- 17:03Which is interesting, and he didn't cover it here, and I'd have to look if Martyrs
- 17:10does it in any of his other books, but the celestial creature,
- 17:14I've heard chariots of fire may be a separate celestial creature as well. The chariot?
- 17:22Yeah. Because not- Chariots of fire. Non-classical way that we think of chariot.
- 17:26We think of chariot as a- As a cart or- A cart that's pulled by these celestial
- 17:32horses, right? Yeah. But-
- 17:34I don't have, I should have thought, I should have looked at it before,
- 17:37but I've heard and I've read some where, and then of course,
- 17:41if you look at the wording in scripture, it's almost as if the chariots of fire
- 17:45are a separate entity in and of themselves. Or they're like sort of alive.
- 17:49Yeah. Something like that. Unique. Yep. So you have the celestial creature,
- 17:52you have the cherubim, you have the angel class, you have the human,
- 17:55and then you have the beast class. Who wouldn't want one of these things?
- 17:59I mean, a fiery horse. Well, obviously Jesus Christ. I mean,
- 18:04it's important enough for him and his armies, right? We're going to ride on him.
- 18:08I can't wait to ride on him. All I know is it's going to be crazy going through
- 18:11a steed. What's that song?
- 18:13You know, I'm going to leave like Superman, but I'm going to come back like a Lone Ranger.
- 18:17Oh, yeah. Yeah, quite literally. Oh, yeah, man.
- 18:20All right. So, classification. Then the next classification next to Celestial Creature is symbiotic.
- 18:26And there's only one of these. And it's obviously a direct creation.
- 18:29It's in the third heaven. And relation to God is not applicable as far as we
- 18:34know, and it's not redeemable, obviously, because it's not in any kind of fallen state.
- 18:39So the sixth life classification is the most rare, mysterious form of life mentioned
- 18:44in the entire Bible, being the only one of its kind.
- 18:48This living machine of sorts exhibits a correlation between flying wheels and
- 18:55the cherubim, because you only see it show up with the cherubim and Ezekiel.
- 19:00The scriptures reveal a symbiotic relationship. That's why they're called symbiotic.
- 19:04That's what this classification is.
- 19:06Relationship is so intricate that it states the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
- 19:13Guess what that is? That's life, some kind of intelligent life within a machine.
- 19:18A spirit in the machine. Yep.
- 19:21We've heard, you know, there's like ghost in the machine, things like that, right?
- 19:25Yeah. So anyway, you know, eventually when we get into, you know,
- 19:29the seventh kind is going to be the kind that is, what is it called?
- 19:36The counterfeit. There you go.
- 19:37Slipping. I mean, the counterfeit kind is like, for example,
- 19:40we start talking about AI or the image of the beast coming to life.
- 19:44You're talking about a machine.
- 19:46And this is what transhumanism is.
- 19:49Not transgenderism. Transhumanism is a cross between machine and human life. The Borg.
- 19:58Right. That is exactly what. Matter of fact, he has an entire section on the
- 20:01Borg. Some sort of organic.
- 20:03He actually talked, Brother Martyrs actually talked about it.
- 20:05Yeah, because he says Hollywood creates a counterfeit of what the Bible talks about with the Borg.
- 20:12So anyway, it's interesting that he says that because, again,
- 20:15symbiotic is what does it show us?
- 20:17That there is a direct creation of God where there's a living creature in a machine.
- 20:23So guess what the devil's going to do? He's going to counterfeit it.
- 20:27Yeah, you know where my mind goes. You know where it's going.
- 20:30I don't know where it's going. I'm scared.
- 20:32I'm scared to go there, but let's go. I just want to believe.
- 20:35But the counterfeit, this is where, and this is from separate research,
- 20:41separate observations.
- 20:42I got to bring up the UFO, you know, UAPs, that those, whatever those beings
- 20:47are, are somehow connected into those machines.
- 20:50They're integrated into their machines. And that's why they're able to,
- 20:54I'm going to the theoretical end here, but it's just based off of different sources.
- 20:59Are you going Neuralink? Neuralink, there you go.
- 21:02That's it. Bunch of nerds. But honestly, that's, but there's the potential there.
- 21:07That's what I'm saying is like those machines are spiritually.
- 21:09But just to be clear, I don't want to confuse the audience.
- 21:13This symbiotic classification here, this is a legitimate direct creation of
- 21:18God. what we're talking about, AI, transhumanism, things like that,
- 21:23that's the counterfeit classification.
- 21:26So this particular life form in and of itself, we're not entirely sure what
- 21:33purpose it serves and so forth and so on, but there's something there.
- 21:39Here's what's interesting. He has an inset and there's a book by Joseph F.
- 21:44Blumbridge called The Spaceships of Ezekiel. And of course,
- 21:48he says, and he writes here in the inset, he says, all the opinions of those
- 21:51new age UFO sympathizers who like to cherry pick the Bible and claim that the
- 21:56prophet did not know what he was looking at can be thrown into the dumpster where they belong.
- 22:02Ezekiel described exactly what he was witnessing, and it had nothing to do with
- 22:07flying saucers or spaceships from another planet.
- 22:10When you read the description of the thing on the previous page,
- 22:13it was not an interpretation, but it's simply believing the Bible as it is written.
- 22:19An interpretation could be found in the images above, which he's shown in the
- 22:23inset, you know, these Ezekiel's looking at a spaceship. Yeah.
- 22:28And that's, I've heard Bible believers say that's a spaceship.
- 22:31And that's when they think about Ezekiel and reading the passage in Ezekiel,
- 22:35they think that, well, see, there's UFOs in the Bible. Right.
- 22:39And that's clear. Oh, there it is. He actually talks about modern UFOs or satanic
- 22:43counterfeits. Yep. Yes.
- 22:45So he calls it symbiotic, obviously, because of the definition.
- 22:48He says the definition of symbiotic is living together in more or less intimate
- 22:55association or close union of two dissimilar organisms.
- 23:00Such a relationship is evidenced nowhere else in Scripture. And again,
- 23:04like you just said, perhaps certain modern UFOs are satanic counterfeits of
- 23:08this particular Bible life form.
- 23:10So a situation where the spirits of living creatures are being shared with flying
- 23:15machines. If true, it would explain why so many objects seem to move and react with intelligence.
- 23:21But if this is the case, it should come as no big surprise to the Bible believer,
- 23:25you know, obviously because it's already captured in the Bible,
- 23:29that we're going to see this counterfeit.
- 23:31So the last kind, and then we'll finish up here.
- 23:33I'm sure this is probably a longer episode than we anticipated.
- 23:36But this is, I mean, this is the simplest chapter. It's like the high level summary.
- 23:41It is funny. This is like the simplest chapter. And I'm telling you,
- 23:44if you don't have this book, I'm telling you, you guys need to make Jeff Martis
- 23:49happy this Christmas and everybody listening to us.
- 23:52All five of you that are listening, buy this book.
- 23:56It's a great read over the Christmas season. That's right.
- 24:00You read it with a cup of hot chocolate and, you know, in front of your bale
- 24:04tree and, you know, worshiping the God of this world.
- 24:08It's going to be great. Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. I don't want to be a Grinch. I like the lights.
- 24:14I love the weather. I love hot chocolate. Okay.
- 24:17All right. So the last class, and this is the only one that falls outside of
- 24:22the legitimate life forms that God created Genesis 1, is the counterfeit.
- 24:29So their origin is other. They're obviously not a direct relation of God,
- 24:33and they're obviously not a reproduction after its own kind.
- 24:36Residents, earth, possibly other undisclosed locations.
- 24:40And this is where I would put in parentheses, interdimensional.
- 24:46Other dimensions, right? Because it's spiritual. Right.
- 24:50In relation to God, they're illegitimate. They have nothing to do with the direct relation to God.
- 24:56He's got an illustration here of the counterfeit. class, and he puts may appear
- 25:01as an amalgam of various legitimate animals, but not always.
- 25:05Amalgamation, right? So you got like a horse, you have horns,
- 25:10you have, you know, this is, this is the picture he's showing here,
- 25:12supposed to be the locust from Revelation.
- 25:15And that's, that come out of the bottomless pit. They may be under the headship
- 25:18of a fallen angel, Abaddon or Apollyon.
- 25:21Maybe an image, cybernetic, genetic organism created via science, sorcery, or both.
- 25:29Can't speak today. All right. So about what the counterfeit life consists of
- 25:33beings which are neither direct creations of God nor sired by any same life
- 25:39forms previously in existence.
- 25:42These mysterious beings are misfits whose origins come about through other means.
- 25:47The majority of those which fall into this classification can have the appearance
- 25:51of mixtures and amalgamations of life forms that are already in existence.
- 25:55There's no scriptural evidence for their direct classification into any of the
- 25:59six God-ordained life classes.
- 26:01That's why they're called counterfeits. For the most part, their physical appearance
- 26:05dictates that there's something different.
- 26:07The primary beings in scripture which fall into the counterfeit classification include giants,
- 26:13winged women, pit locusts, the horseman army of the killer angels,
- 26:19the life forms, And these life forms are probably the product of joining of strange flesh.
- 26:27That means uniting life forms of different kinds and makeup and are associated
- 26:31with confusion, Leviticus 18, 23, which, and here's what's crazy.
- 26:35When you go through Leviticus 18, there's a ton of prohibitions with lying with beasts as mankind.
- 26:42So here's a question. And somebody's often asked me, you know,
- 26:46we haven't done a Sasquatch episode, but eventually maybe.
- 26:49Here's the thing already you know do i
- 26:52believe what the world believes about cryptozoology not
- 26:55necessarily i believe that there is a satanic counterfeit
- 26:59at hand and i think you know brother martis lays out a great a great case with
- 27:05this counterfeit class is that they're not legitimate creations of god and they're
- 27:10not the reproduction of a kind but they're cross pollination of kinds.
- 27:16So what if an angel crossbreeded with a beast?
- 27:22What would it produce? If an angel can crossbreed across kinds,
- 27:28right? Think about that, across kinds.
- 27:30We can't go to an animal kind and produce a baby.
- 27:34An angel can. Yeah. You're saying that's what begs the question is that they can.
- 27:39Possibility. And you get these weird creatures like half man, half horse.
- 27:43Like mothman, dogman. A bunch of these mythology-type characters that are- What if that were true?
- 27:49I don't know. I'm just saying, if an angel can cohabitate with a human being,
- 27:54which is not the same class.
- 27:56They can potentially cohabitate with any other life forms or strange flesh.
- 28:01They're the only ones that can.
- 28:02That's outside their classification. But remember what Martis,
- 28:04he clarified at the beginning of the chapter.
- 28:06He says, this counterfeit is either a strange flesh union or it's a laboratory experiment.
- 28:15Manufactured. Yeah.
- 28:18Like, what was it, Dr. Zhivago on that, the island of Dr. Moreau?
- 28:23The island of Dr. Moreau.
- 28:25You never saw that in the 1960s? I wasn't born. Yeah, but you were thought of.
- 28:31But, no, but in the 1960s, you have to look it up.
- 28:35The island of Dr. Moreau, and I'm sure some of our older folks listening may
- 28:40be aware of the island of Dr. Moreau. But the island of Dr.
- 28:43Moreau was a doctor, a mad scientist that was crossbreeding animals and humans
- 28:50and coming up with abominations on that island.
- 28:54So anyway, interesting. Back in the 1960s. Yep. H.G. Wells. Yep. H.G. Wells. Yep.
- 29:00So this counterfeit class, the scriptures show that confusion is never associated with anything good.
- 29:07It's associated with shame, envy, strife, sin, and every evil work,
- 29:12according to James 3.16.
- 29:13And God is not the author of confusion, obviously. The giants have a direct
- 29:17connection with the fallen sons of God.
- 29:19The winged women have a direct connection with wickedness in Zechariah 5, 7-9.
- 29:24The pit locusts have a direct connection with the angel of the bottomless pit, Revelation 9-11.
- 29:29And the horseman army is spearheaded by four killer angels in Revelation 9, verses 13-19.
- 29:37So, disturbingly, others in the counterfeit class can appear as exact duplicates
- 29:42of legitimate life forms.
- 29:45Exodus 7-11-12 and Exodus 8-7.
- 29:49These evidently are not clones whose creation must have access to original genetic
- 29:55materials, but are somehow raw replicas not attained through procreation or scientific methods.
- 30:01This rarely discussed phenomenon of the counterfeit class creation is scheduled
- 30:06to rear its ugly head primarily during the Great Tribulation.
- 30:11It's purpose, deception, destruction.
- 30:13So anyway, he goes through that in another chapter into more detail.
- 30:17But things like, you know, the cockatrice, he has...
- 30:22Copterics. Our copterics was the lizard-like bird whose fossilized remains first
- 30:27discovered 1861, maybe very well. The Bible's cockatrice.
- 30:31But anyway, you see counterfeits of those things. Like say, for example,
- 30:35the locusts, you have demon locusts.
- 30:37You have regular locusts and you have demon locusts. And what's interesting
- 30:40in the book of Job, Job 41, when it's talking about Leviathan,
- 30:44at the end of that chapter, it says he's the king over all the children of pride.
- 30:50And the Bible said it talks about and
- 30:53it talks about locusts there it talks about in the book of Revelation they
- 30:56had a king over them whose name was Abaddon or
- 31:00Apollyon yeah so anyway so really what it comes down to this this chapter 11
- 31:05is he's basically collecting and organizing all the scriptural information regarding
- 31:10all the different life forms found in the Bible seven primary categories of
- 31:13life the creature class the man class the angelic class the cherubic class the
- 31:18celestial creature class,
- 31:19the symbiotic class, and then you have the counterfeit class,
- 31:22which, and then of course you have the actual eighth category,
- 31:26which would be God himself.
- 31:28Recognizing the difference between these life forms has helped divide the classes
- 31:31into their respective groups.
- 31:33Without exception, all life in the universe, within or without the Bible,
- 31:38will fall into one of these groups.
- 31:39There are no other options. Even unclean spirits and devils,
- 31:44beings which once inhabited physical bodies, may be classified somewhere within
- 31:48this Bible-based system.
- 31:50Since the modern alien phenomenon deals with eyewitnesses who claim to have
- 31:56apparently encountered life,
- 31:58the Christian must determine where within these seven groups the mysterious
- 32:03creature fits, whatever it is.
- 32:05That means the greys, right?
- 32:09The Nordics, is it the Nordic class? Yeah, the different types of alien classes.
- 32:12Yeah, the different types of alien classes. They have to fall within one of
- 32:15these seven categories.
- 32:17Yeah, which likely will fall into counterfeit. Yep.
- 32:22So that is the different classes of life forms in the Bible.
- 32:28And the one we're studying, obviously, deep diving into is angels.
- 32:32So angelology. But it's important to understand all the seven life forms,
- 32:38the classes that are found within the word of God.
- 32:41I think it was, again, like we said in the very beginning, it was a good way
- 32:45to kind of set the groundwork as we begin talking a little bit more about this.
- 32:51I'm sure we're going to transcend the angelology topic and maybe start looking at it.
- 32:57What we want to tie into, you know, like we said at the beginning of this series,
- 33:03was there's a lot of confusion around angelology.
- 33:07Yeah. There's a lot of New Ageism and cultism and mysticism around it.
- 33:12And it's important for us to really clearly define and clarify what the biblical
- 33:17doctrine of angels is, because there's a lot of believers that are duped into that stuff.
- 33:23There's believers I know of that have fallen into the trap of New Ageism because
- 33:27they've been studying angels.
- 33:28And there's a lot of people, I mean, I minister in the prisons,
- 33:31and I can't tell you how many times a prisoner, when I ask them if they're saved,
- 33:36if they're trusting the Lord Jesus Christ, or if they've been saved,
- 33:38and I ask in their testimony, it's always an angel is involved in their story.
- 33:43Interesting. Right. And, of course, we talked about it last time that it's interesting
- 33:47that the Koran and the Book of Mormon were both produced by angels, apparently.
- 33:54And the Bible says in Galatians, whether we or an angel from God preach any
- 33:58other gospel, let him be accursed.
- 34:01So it's important, man. I'm telling you, it's not such a fringe doctrine as
- 34:07some of our fundamentalist brethren like to think.
- 34:10Like, oh, you guys are talking about something. What is that going to do for
- 34:14my bank account? What is that going to do for my marriage?
- 34:16I don't know what it can do for you, but it's still the truth,
- 34:20regardless of what it pragmatically can do for you.
- 34:24It is still truth that is captured in the Word of God.
- 34:28And we're commanded to prove all things. We are commanded to be students of
- 34:32the Word of God. Well, yeah.
- 34:33So we have to look at it. I know he says in here, as strange as it can be,
- 34:38as fringe, and obviously not quoting specifically, but verbatim,
- 34:42but he says, it's just what it says.
- 34:44We believe it and we move on. And let me ask you this.
- 34:48What are you going to do when you do come across an individual that is on the
- 34:52fringe and looking into ufology, cryptozoology? Yeah, you're going to dismiss them?
- 34:57I mean, yeah, and they're looking for truth and they're asking you,
- 35:00oh, well, you're a Christian. What do you think about all this?
- 35:03Yeah, you're going to call them names, tell them crazy, don't look into that
- 35:07stuff. Oh, that's just all devil worship. Yeah.
- 35:08Well, why don't you show them what the Bible says about it, open their eyes,
- 35:13and realize that the God of the universe gave us some details and clues to be
- 35:18able to interpret the things that we see around us that people think is high
- 35:22strangeness, right? Yeah.
- 35:24I mean, look, the Christian ought to have the answer. Right.
- 35:27And if anybody should be able to identify, you know, the spiritual dimension
- 35:32and understand what the spiritual world consists of, it should be a Bible-believing Christian. Right. So.
- 35:39And, again, it's not a handbook for ministry. It's a paranormal book.
- 35:44There's a lot of weird stuff in it.
- 35:45But, yeah, we ought to give an answer to these things.
- 35:48One last thing. There's something very thematic about it is the counterfeit stuff.
- 35:53I kept on saying that a lot. But he, I think it's probably in the next chapter,
- 35:57and I know we'll probably cover
- 35:58it in a bit more detail as we begin to explore different topics in it.
- 36:03He was talking about the devil specifically. He quotes, I'm quoting him.
- 36:08He says, if I were forced to describe the devil in a single word,
- 36:11that word would undoubtedly be counterfeit. Counterfeit, yep. Yep.
- 36:16Well, he is. And we will talk about that a little bit because he's the greatest
- 36:21imitator of Jesus Christ. When he comes as the Antichrist, as the son of perdition, he shows up.
- 36:27The Bible says specifically that he will be worshiped above all that is called God.
- 36:36That means anything that people recognize as their God is going to be associated with the devil.
- 36:43He's going to counterfeit everything. He's wanted worship since the beginning.
- 36:46I will be like the most high, right? I will ascend above the stars of the cloud and so forth. and so on.
- 36:53That's what he wants. He wants worship.
- 36:55And that means that if he's going to show up, he's going to talk like,
- 37:00look like, act like, speak like, behave like Jesus Christ.
- 37:06And only the discerning brethren, only people, the Bible says that we're not
- 37:11supposed to be ignorant of his devices.
- 37:13We have to be able to identify those things. And so there's a spiritual,
- 37:17and here's what we're a lot of our, I would say our fringe brothers in Christ.
- 37:23You know, the ones that like to run around and read the book of Enoch.
- 37:26And you know what I'm saying? That they get caught up in that stuff.
- 37:30The Tom Horn guys, the Steve Quill guys, the guys that think that the church
- 37:35is going to go through the tribulation.
- 37:37They fail to understand the distinction between the church, you know, the Jew and the Gentile.
- 37:43Those guys, you know what they do is the problem is, is they get so wrapped
- 37:47up in just the occultic side of it that they don't understand that the rug is
- 37:54being pulled out from under them with false perversions.
- 37:58You know, Gail Ripplinger in the early 90s put out a book called The New Age Bible Versions, okay?
- 38:04When she put out that book, it is a in-depth study of how these new modern versions
- 38:11changed phraseology and words and things like that.
- 38:16So instead of saying, the Lord Jesus Christ, it just says, the Lord.
- 38:22Why would you take the distinct name Jesus Christ out of that title,
- 38:27the Lord? What do you call him the Lord?
- 38:30Some other Christ? You see the problem? And so that's what she does.
- 38:33She does such an excellent job showing that there is a pattern in these modern
- 38:39versions all pointing to the counterfeit Christ.
- 38:43That's what it is. And that's what the, you know, the Antichrist,
- 38:46you know, he's in the place of Christ.
- 38:49It's subversion, you know, and I love the way he put it. Because he even said,
- 38:52talking similarly about this is, you know, if you don't have access to the pure
- 38:57words of God, you have, among other things, no means of detecting Satan.
- 39:02And that's exactly what he wants. You know, most of us, most people think when
- 39:06they hear Antichrist, that term, they think, oh, against Christ.
- 39:10No, if you study types and typology in your Bible, you know what you study?
- 39:14You study the type and you study the anti-type.
- 39:17You know what the anti-type is? It's the legitimate form. And then the type
- 39:21is going to be the spiritualized form or the allegorical form.
- 39:25So that means the anti-type is the original type. So when we say type antichrist
- 39:31is a type of the Lord Jesus Christ, it's a copy, it's an imitation of.
- 39:37It's not against Christ, as some people think.
- 39:40So you got to be careful with terms like that. But you also have to look at
- 39:44how the scripture uses that term.
- 39:46Antichrist is, there's many, because Jesus Christ even said,
- 39:49he goes, there's going to be many Christ's that come in my name.
- 39:52They're all going to imitate me. And you know what's funny?
- 39:55Where the Bible says that we're supposed to be, you know, as holy,
- 39:59we're supposed to be holy because God is holy.
- 40:01And where Paul says this, he says, be followers of me as I am of Christ.
- 40:05You know what the modern versions say? Imitate Christ.
- 40:09Not follow Christ, imitate him.
- 40:13I think it says it in the NIV. Yeah, there you go. But again,
- 40:16until you look at the broader picture here and you looked at,
- 40:21you know, deductively, you know, look at the broad, you know,
- 40:24the broad reasoning here is that,
- 40:26look, the devil wants to be like Jesus Christ.
- 40:31And so, anyway, we'll go in more detail about how he imitates Christ because he imitates him.
- 40:36Brother Martis actually categorized, I think it's like 21 different things.
- 40:39Yeah, it was a long list. Yeah. It's like, wow, just like one for one, all these things.
- 40:44That'd be a good segue. But that's the underlying theme. I've been noticing
- 40:47that, that it's counterfeit.
- 40:49So you guys probably didn't realize Angelology was this interesting.
- 40:54We're only getting started. Yeah. I know some of you guys are probably going
- 40:57to skip these episodes, and you might go straight to the marriage ones, but hey.
- 41:02Yeah, because we're definitely going to do those, right? Yeah.
- 41:05Marriage help. That's right.
- 41:07But anyways, I think we'll probably close that one off there.
- 41:12I think it was appropriate for the season, you know, angels,
- 41:15Christmas, you know, all that stuff.
- 41:17But yeah, the next one we'll do, probably start off the year right at some point
- 41:21and continue on with our angeology.
- 41:24See, I'm starting to say that better now. Say that. Angeology.
- 41:27I'm an expert. I can say angeology. Angel. Sorry, I just split it into two syllables.
- 41:32Well, not two syllables, but angel.
- 41:34Ology. yeah I had to practice that so I gotta put a hyphenate to angel ology
- 41:39there you go see we can say it alright we'll just wrap it up there Merry Christmas
- 41:44last one of the year we'll see everybody on the other side.
