- 0:13Well, good morning. A little quieter morning than it was on Friday,
- 0:17but we do have some severe weather coming later today. Friends. Welcome Morning
- 0:21show with Preston Scott. I'm Preston. He's Grant. It's show fifty one
- 0:25fifty seven, Monday, the thirteenth of May. And please to have with
- 0:30us from Sea Fact. You're wondering what is Sea Fact Committee for a constructive
- 0:35Tomorrow? He's co founder Craig Record. Craig, good morning, Welcome.
- 0:38How are you, sir? I'm doing great, Thanks for having me on
- 0:42my pleasure, Thanks for the early our visit. Obviously, the entire transformation
- 0:50of this country that Barack Obama promised is happening under Joe Biden. We are
- 0:55committing energy suicide. And and yet there are developments happening abroad where it seems
- 1:03as though some are waking up to the nonsense. Or are they? I
- 1:07mean, how how much in the in the grip of climate fraud are we
- 1:12in worldwide? Oh my goodness, Yeah, I think there's a lot of
- 1:18buyers read morse. Many people aren't aware. But while Biden has made climate
- 1:23and he said this on day one that he came in, not his number
- 1:26two or three priority. It's his number one, probably at two three priority.
- 1:30Altogether, there are parts of the world that have actually jumped out ahead
- 1:36of us, and one of them is in Europe. Germany in particular has
- 1:40been making news. There's a program it undertook called Energy Agenda that dates back
- 1:46to the early two thousands, back in the Merkel administration, and what they
- 1:52try to do is get rid of all of their first and foremost their coal
- 1:55and fossil fuel plans. And then after the whole ful Kashima incident, Japan
- 2:00even got rid of its nuclear plants and went all spin, you know,
- 2:04push to go solar and wind entirely, almost And what wound up happening is
- 2:08that they were not getting enough electricity and they were experiencing blackouts. The Brandenburg
- 2:15Gate was going dark. They had to do energy austerity to the point that
- 2:21even more recently a you're a member of the Mundes dog actually said they may
- 2:27have to can weekend trips first residence because they just did not have the electricity
- 2:31they needed. So what they did is they opened up their lignite plants,
- 2:37and even right along they've been importing tremendous sums from outside of the country.
- 2:43While it's true they weren't eating coal or gas like a lot of countries that
- 2:46go solar and wind had to import it and where they get it from Putin's
- 2:51Russia. And even when they jumped back on nuclear, they wound up getting
- 2:54in a lot of their electricity from France, which is over seventy percent nuclear,
- 2:59so a lot of hipocrips. But you see at other places. Just
- 3:01this weekend, polls were out in mass going against their Green New Deal.
- 3:07France has done a step back. You had McCrone saying that they would get
- 3:12with a nuclear power, but in fact now they're going right back to it.
- 3:15So you know, really what we're embarking down into the bide administration has
- 3:22not worked anywhere in the world. Writers is reporting that Germany is in fact
- 3:27going to refire their coal plants. Is their truth to that. Absolutely,
- 3:31they got a lot of coal ability and their lignite plants are being brought back
- 3:38online. I think they had something like seven gigawats they had to fire up
- 3:44the year before this, and now they're moving up to over nine gigawatts.
- 3:47Is again, they went way overboard on renewable energy. Plus their electricity rates
- 3:52have gone through the roof in the United States were used to accustomed to paint
- 3:57about ten twelve cents to kill a watt hour as a consumer, Germany staying
- 4:00about thirty five cents of quila waite hour, And really their experience is reflective
- 4:06of other countries that go solar wind and try to do what they called net
- 4:11zero, which just so happens to be what our Biden administration wants to do.
- 4:15Because you can handle the truth. News Radio one hundred point seven Double

- 4:26Preston Scott play a lot of the time on News Radio one hundred point seven
- 4:31Double UFLA. A Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow affectionately known as Sea Fact and
- 4:46co founder Craig record with us. Craig, I've observed on TV that the
- 4:49automobile manufacturers, and I want to focus on the German juggernaut known as Mercedes
- 4:56bands. They made a big deal they were going to be all electric by
- 5:00the year twenty thirty twenty thirty five. Perhaps now they have gone the dead
- 5:05opposite. They have announced that they're going to be producing gas powered engines indefinitely.
- 5:13Is there Finally some awakening happening to some that have tried to jump on
- 5:18board with this. Absolutely, and it's universal again globally. You've had a
- 5:27number of companies, even in the United States, commit to going all electric
- 5:30by twenty I think it's thirty five, and the Biden administration was touting that
- 5:34out not long ago. Mercedes of course did that again. Europe is before
- 5:40the United States. But what you're fighting is they're not moving them off the
- 5:44lot. In fact, there is a bunch of used car dealers and car
- 5:47dealerships around the country that actually said the letter to Biden recently saying that Nope,
- 5:54that's not happening, and taking this big step backwards of them are digging
- 6:00their heels in and continuing to try to push them. We were at a
- 6:03resolution meeting of the shareholders afford our company actually had shareholders there just to chime
- 6:09in and try to keep them from going to woke. But the chairman there
- 6:14has actually announced on Thursday they're still committed to it. And I think the
- 6:17reason for that is not the sales, not that Americans are accepting them,
- 6:20are buying them because they have serious limitations and for a lot of motorists,
- 6:25not for everybody. They may prove to be okay for some, but for
- 6:29others, you know, the limited range and expensive trying to get one is
- 6:32just too much. But I think it all comes down to subsidies. There's
- 6:38a lot of money in it, and I think they're making money if they
- 6:42stay on the lot in a lot of cases, whether or not they're sold.
- 6:46And so long as the subsidies are there, and you know, the
- 6:48government finds it a priority to push them, I think these car companies in
- 6:54the United States in particular will continue to abide by trying to push them.
- 7:00And once the subsidise go, I have a feeling that that's going to be
- 7:02it for the electric vehicle as a major use of by American motorists. Craig,
- 7:09let's go big picture in the time remaining here. Obviously we're seeing the
- 7:14result of ping pong executive orders from presidents that's not practical for any long term
- 7:21strategy. Let's assume that Congress somehow miraculously gets a group of senators and congressmen
- 7:30in that understand the importance of an energy policy and setting in motion a series
- 7:36of laws that protect the energy sector of this country. Is it too late.
- 7:42Can we resurrect clean coal? Can we resurrect oil and natural gas in
- 7:47this country? Well? In that I guess we could leave people on an
- 7:53optimistic note. As we started talking about Germany, Germany's going back to firing
- 7:58up its goal fired units. We saw that a few years ago. Even
- 8:01in California, which has really been aggressively pushing renewable energy. When blackouts started
- 8:05happening, even Tavin Newsom started firing up it's plank, California's remaining plants.
- 8:13I think the danger comes in if we got it too much. But at
- 8:16the moment, I think we certainly have room to backpedal. And it's been
- 8:20encouraging to see even blue states and even what I would call blue countries I
- 8:26guess fairly liberal countries are abandoning their efforts once they see that the lights don't
- 8:31stay on and the expenses rise, and people start marching in the streets as
- 8:37they did in Polland this week, and farmers have been doing, and Brussels
- 8:41and then throughout France and Germany. I think when you see that sort of
- 8:46pushback coming from the from the people, then I think there it's not too
- 8:50late, and I think Congress will respond, but you know, elections have
- 8:56consequences. We have two candidates coming up, and one is quite pro energy
- 9:00and as a record, in fact, we have first president since Truman that
- 9:03we actually had net energy exports going on and the natural gas and oil and
- 9:09gas field. So, you know, I think that that's going to be
- 9:13up to the people. But we've got to get Congress because otherwise we're just
- 9:16back and forth on executive orders. Don't you think we've got to get something
- 9:20in law done that cannot be erased by an executive order. I do.
- 9:26I agree with that, and I think the biggest thing that they can do
- 9:28is just repeal and let the market handle these things. It always has in
- 9:33the past quite well. Typically when Congress starts directing things like we want a
- 9:37certain number of ds by twenty thirty five, or we're going to produce a
- 9:41certain or renewable energy portfolio where this much energy must be made by solar or
- 9:46win, that's where we're messing up. When the government kind of just rolls
- 9:50those things back and allows you know, the en a free enterprise system to
- 9:54do its work. I think that, you know, not that they're going
- 9:58to be a trouble free world. But that's a lot better for everybody than
- 10:01it is when government actually starts meddling in these things. Thanks Craig for the
- 10:05time this morning. I appreciate it very much. Thank you. Thanks for
- 10:09being on your program. Appreciate it. Craig Rucker, co founder of Committee
