- 0:10Speaker 1: all right, welcome back.
- 0:12Speaker 1: It's nfl picks.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Holiday edition, week 13 we're doing a little earlier because of the Thanksgiving games and the holiday Everybody's chance to travel, right, well, you need the whole day to eat that turducken, yeah.
- 0:31Speaker 1: But before we do the picks, we're going to talk about a little bit of college football.
- 0:34Speaker 1: The rankings came out, so we got Miami contributor Justin on and his team's in the playoff mix, so we're going to bring him into the conversation, talk about some scenarios and whatnot.
- 0:47Speaker 1: What was your first thought watching that made-for-TV fiasco?
- 0:53Speaker 3: I hate ESPN and I hate Alabama.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, how do you get boat raced by a crap-ass Oklahoma team and you're the first team out of the playoff?
- 1:04Speaker 3: They're 13 in the playoff, so one team loses, they're in.
- 1:08Speaker 1: It just seems like every time they lose and it doesn't like you say.
- 1:14Speaker 1: It's a team with a losing record, but oh no, no, it's an SEC team Playing at Norman's hard.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Every time they do it, they get the benefit of the doubt, even though everybody's won there except for like one team, and it's like okay, but you played a team ranked below you in your conference that you were favored to beat, and then you got upset.
- 1:36Speaker 1: And then they try to bring in how big the conference is.
- 1:38Speaker 1: It's like, well, don't get outside of the game itself.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Like you were favored to win and you lost.
- 1:44Speaker 3: How about Miami beating the shit out of Florida to start the season in the swamp?
- 1:49Speaker 3: And now the Gators are running through the SEC and nobody's giving credit for Miami, no one's going to give credit, yeah.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, the more you watch it, you saw, I mean we know this, you know, but it's just kind of, it's sad to see, at a sport that we all love so much, just come down to such, you know, subjective reasoning and just like pretty much lobbying for each, for football teams, when it should be played on the field.
- 2:14Speaker 1: In fact I think mike leach, the, the late mike leach had it pegged before anybody else did get up tallahassee.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Oh, that's not it.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Anybody else did Get up Tallahassee.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Oh, that's not it.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I got it here.
- 2:27Speaker 1: That's enough for us.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I got to find out.
- 2:31Speaker 1: But anyway, Anyway.
- 2:33Speaker 4: But yeah, man, let's just like I was saying the only difference between the Big 12 and the SEC is that ESPN owns the SEC.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Right, so they stay fixated in the top 25.
- 2:45Speaker 4: You look at the record.
- 2:47Speaker 4: There it is.
- 2:47Speaker 4: That's why everybody does it that way.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Shut up Reno.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I mean, nobody does it that way.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I mean, if we're so smart, wouldn't all the other sports say I don't want, let's have a committee.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Because, why not?
- 2:58Speaker 2: Because you know, we're American, we love committees.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Let's get us a committee.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Well, who should be on the committee?
- 3:04Speaker 2: Well, I don't know, this guy's a good guy.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Let's have him on the committee.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Well, I mean, there's people on the committee that don't even have remote associations with football, nor have they at any level other than being a fan.
- 3:18Speaker 2: But you know what?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Let's have them on it.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Why not?
- 3:23Speaker 2: And then I mean it'd be fun, we'd go to that resort.
- 3:28Speaker 5: We'd talk.
- 3:30Speaker 2: We could hang out at dinner and then we'll decide which four teams should go, Because you know why we don't need to solve this on the field, Because we're the ones that know.
- 3:39Speaker 2: So I mean, you know, if we're going to do it that way, we should just ask them at the beginning of the season.
- 3:47Speaker 2: You know, just go ahead and you guys vote on it, figure out one, two, three and four, and why even add the games?
- 3:53Speaker 2: To me, I mean, it's not a playoff, there's nothing playoff about it.
- 3:57Speaker 1: There is nothing playoff about it, god.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I love Mike Leach, I know, and he said that years ago and that was like a decade ago and that's great and he was just.
- 4:09Speaker 1: If they make it, he felt the same way.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Alabama's right there at the first one out.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Put that loss into context, though.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Let's talk about that.
- 4:18Speaker 4: That Alabama loss.
- 4:19Speaker 4: First brand-new offensive coordinator for Oklahoma.
- 4:23Speaker 4: They just fired their guy.
- 4:24Speaker 4: They're breaking in an analyst to call plays Defensive coordinator.
- 4:29Speaker 4: You know Venables is doing it himself.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Now They've gone back to him just running everything.
- 4:35Speaker 4: So this was like this was Oklahoma stripped to the bare bones of play calling and scheming stuff up, very basic, and they still shut Alabama down completely, completely, and that is a team.
- 4:48Speaker 3: The first time alabama has scored single digit points since that lsu game of the century.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Nine to six game back in like 2010 right, right, I mean I, you know there is no way that alabama belongs in the playoff discussion this season here's's going to get interesting as far as which SEC teams are going to get in and which ones aren't.
- 5:12Speaker 1: A couple big games this weekend.
- 5:13Speaker 1: It's a rivalry weekend, and one game I'm looking forward to is the pure hate game, and that's Georgia Tech Georgia.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Justin, you know all too well that this team doing Georgia Tech Georgia, Justin, you know all too well that this team doing Georgia Tech can ruin your season.
- 5:29Speaker 1: And if Georgia, in one area that they're not as good at in past years, is stopping the run, and if Georgia Tech, if they can run the ball on you, you're in a dogfight and it's a coin flip of a game.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's one game I'm I'm looking forward to.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Obviously, texas a&m.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Texas, the winner of that game will go to the sec championship to face georgia.
- 5:54Speaker 1: So, uh what?
- 5:57Speaker 1: I don't think there should be a three loss team make it.
- 6:00Speaker 1: But if a&m were to, they have a chance to.
- 6:03Speaker 1: If they beat texas, texas and Georgia, they're in, which, I think deservingly so.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Where it gets interesting is if Texas loses, are they in?
- 6:14Speaker 3: I think all they got to do is make it.
- 6:15Speaker 3: You know they're going to put a two loss Texas.
- 6:17Speaker 1: So I think Texas is in no matter what.
- 6:20Speaker 1: So if they lose, they're in, because they're sitting there right where Tennessee is.
- 6:25Speaker 4: I'm going to float a scenario to you.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Rest your starters if you're Texas, I don't want to play in the SEC title game.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean honestly, tennessee's sitting there.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I think Tennessee's sitting there where they're 9-2.
- 6:38Speaker 1: They beat Vanderbilt, they're 10-2.
- 6:40Speaker 1: They're not going to make the SEC championship game, but I think they're locked for getting in.
- 6:45Speaker 4: And now you kind of see why they had to keep Alabama relatively high, because that's Tennessee's best win.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You got Georgia right there.
- 6:56Speaker 1: If Georgia loses to Georgia Tech, they can still win the SEC and get in.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Now if they beat Georgia Tech and say, were to lose to Texas, a team they had already beaten, would you still put Georgia in?
- 7:15Speaker 3: Unless, Georgia loses out Georgia's in.
- 7:20Speaker 1: No, but I'm telling you this scenario they beat Georgia Tech, they beat them good, which is a solid win, and then they lose to Texas in overtime, or something like that they're in.
- 7:30Speaker 4: They're still in.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Because, they beat Texas early in the year.
- 7:33Speaker 3: If you're an SEC team in the top ten right now, it doesn't matter what you do.
- 7:39Speaker 3: The rest of the season.
- 7:41Speaker 4: I'm going to go even further than that.
- 7:43Speaker 4: You got some teams in the SEC that are still eating off of last season, like Texas.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Dude that.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Alabama win is still carrying Texas.
- 7:53Speaker 1: That's true.
- 7:54Speaker 1: What's their big win that Texas had this year?
- 7:59Speaker 4: They don't have one.
- 7:59Speaker 4: They don't have one.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I guess it's Florida at home.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Right against a walk-on from not DJ Legway.
- 8:06Speaker 4: They don't have a big win, they got a big loss.
- 8:12Speaker 1: And Miami.
- 8:13Speaker 1: That's a good win that I think is going to get them.
- 8:17Speaker 1: This is all coming.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Miami has won, I think no, no, no no.
- 8:21Speaker 1: If Miami wins at Syracuse, there's a shot that they might make it.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Regardless, yeah, but I'm going to tell you what Miami, but I'll tell you right now they have to win Because if they lose at Syracuse they're not going to the ACC championship and they're not making the playoffs.
- 8:38Speaker 4: I will tell you right now.
- 8:38Speaker 1: So this game at Syracuse is huge.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Yeah, oh, and it's going to be a dogfight dude.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Syracuse's offense can move the ball, dude.
- 8:48Speaker 3: With Kyle McCord at quarterback, they got Aranda Gadsden Jr.
- 8:51Speaker 3: I hate that Aranda Gadsden Jr is going to tear us up tomorrow or Saturday.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Those are two games right there.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I mean Georgia Tech, georgia, and then Clemson, south Carolina, miami, syracuse.
- 9:03Speaker 1: These are all big games to watch it out for.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Because watch out for South Carolina.
- 9:08Speaker 1: They've been playing well, they got some big wins and, uh, what if you have a?
- 9:12Speaker 1: What if Clemson goes out and just beats the crap out of a good South Carolina team?
- 9:18Speaker 1: That's beating the brakes off others in the SEC.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Clemson doesn't go to the acc championship but they're sitting there at 10 and 2.
- 9:26Speaker 1: You know I, I are they going to get in?
- 9:30Speaker 1: they got as good an argument as they better get in over a three loss alabama team.
- 9:34Speaker 3: That's where you're going to have me if you start doing that I, I can see it happening, dude, when they had alabama at 13 in the playoff rankings last night.
- 9:43Speaker 3: I, I know they're going to do everything they can to get Alabama in the playoff.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Well, they have Clemson at 12.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And that's where it gets interesting what will happen how these last two weeks.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Because I think again, beating South Carolina would be a better win than Alabama beating Auburn.
- 9:59Speaker 1: So there's nothing that they can do to jump Clemson.
- 10:02Speaker 1: They've already ranked Clemson ahead of Alabama.
- 10:06Speaker 1: If both teams went out, alabama should be behind Clemson.
- 10:12Speaker 1: And that's going to be the thing to watch.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Is that team right there in Clemson, because if Miami loses, then Clemson's going to have a chance to play their way in.
- 10:22Speaker 1: And then you have this scenario If SMU were to lose, are they going to get in?
- 10:27Speaker 1: Which I don't think so.
- 10:29Speaker 3: No, they won't, because they don't have the brand.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Yeah, SMU's going to have to win the ACC to get in.
- 10:35Speaker 4: Well, what about this?
- 10:36Speaker 4: What if Miami-Syracuse is like a four-overtime game?
- 10:40Speaker 4: Say Miami loses, I think they're out.
- 10:43Speaker 4: That was the point I was going to make.
- 10:45Speaker 4: There's no way that they're going to give Miami credit for beating Florida at the beginning of the year like they should.
- 10:50Speaker 4: It's going to turn into well, this is a different Gator team Texas is getting.
- 10:55Speaker 1: What is Texas doing?
- 10:57Speaker 1: I think Texas needs to win this.
- 10:58Speaker 1: If they were to lose this game now, it looks like they probably should be out, but they won't be.
- 11:02Speaker 1: No, they're not going to be out Because if they lose to A&M, they really don't have it.
- 11:05Speaker 4: They already set the precedent.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Man, all right, any other nuggets.
- 11:10Speaker 1: It's going to be a fun college weekend.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Florida State Florida is at night over South Carolina Clemson.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I know there's some people upset about that.
- 11:20Speaker 4: I'm upset about it With that game on TV.
- 11:22Speaker 4: I'm upset about it With that game on TV.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Oh yeah, all right, let's do the picks, guys, before we get started, let's go over the standings from last week and you're surely back on top at 9-4.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that's how you do it.
- 11:42Speaker 1: I think 6-7 it was for the rest of you and except for Jimmy, who was what?
- 11:51Speaker 1: Five and eight, god damn.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Alright, well, I gotta see Regressing back to the mean Jimmy.
- 11:58Speaker 4: I'm going to get my ringer.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Alright, well, he's going to get his junior's going to sub the picks for him today, but it starts on Thanksgiving, like it usually does Every Thanksgiving, and Now I'm pumped up.
- 12:22Speaker 3: The standalone night game.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Thanksgiving night Dolphins-Packers man, I'm fired up for uh standalone night game.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Uh, thanksgiving night dolphins packers man, I'm fired up for that game yeah, man, it's uh.
- 12:29Speaker 1: We got uh bears in detroit for the kickoff of thanksgiving.
- 12:35Speaker 1: The bears are getting 10 points in detroit.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Mike, who you got?
- 12:44Speaker 5: yeah, it's a lot.
- 12:45Speaker 5: But I'm rolling with Detroit.
- 12:47Speaker 5: They kind of I don't know.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Last week was kind of weird.
- 12:52Speaker 5: Usually they don't stop scoring.
- 12:54Speaker 5: Last week they kind of messed up a little bit.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Defense Ogun.
- 12:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm still taking them.
- 13:01Speaker 5: I like them, so be in here, all right, justin.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:03Speaker 1: I'm right there them.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I like them Still being in here.
- 13:05Speaker 1: All right, justin.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm right there with you, dude.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Caleb Williams is terrible and the man train can't be stopped.
- 13:13Speaker 3: They win by three touchdowns.
- 13:16Speaker 1: All right, lil Jimmy.
- 13:19Speaker 4: All right, we're both man train fans.
- 13:21Speaker 4: I'm going to let Junior take over.
- 13:23Speaker 4: He's the Bears fan.
- 13:24Speaker 4: What do we think?
- 13:25Speaker 1: Troy's winning by 70.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Oh wow, he's giving up.
- 13:28Speaker 4: He's a little bit sour on the Bears this season.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Yeah as he should be, as he should be, but 10 points is too much for me.
- 13:36Speaker 1: In the Thanksgiving game, I think the Bears keep it close but lose by a touchdown.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Give me the Bears to cover by touchdown.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Give me the bears to cover.
- 13:50Speaker 1: All right, uh, let's go to dallas where, uh, the the cowboys were able to pull off the upset last week and the spin move of all time straight out of the video game if you saw, they had two kick returns.
- 13:59Speaker 1: One off was the onside kick that the guy took back and then the one before that.
- 14:04Speaker 1: The guy ran back and took it off the bounce and busted a spin move.
- 14:10Speaker 1: That was incredible.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Anyway, the whole end of that game was insane.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Yeah, the Giants, as we said last week, they got rid of Daniel Jones, they started DeVito.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Tommy Cutlets yeah, but the Cowboys, the Giants are getting three and a half in Dallas.
- 14:24Speaker 4: They got rid of.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Daniel Jones, they started DeVito.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Tommy Cutlets yeah, but the Cowboys, the Giants are getting three and a half in Dallas.
- 14:29Speaker 1: This game sucks.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'm probably not going to watch this one.
- 14:35Speaker 1: But, jimmy, who you got in this?
- 14:36Speaker 1: All right, what do we think?
- 14:37Speaker 1: Junior Cowboys, cowboys minus three and a half All right, justin.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Oh God, man, I guess I'll take Dallas there at home, and Cooper Rush is better than Tommy DeVito, I guess I don't know.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Whatever, who cares?
- 14:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:56Speaker 5: Mike, I'm going against the Green Air at the Giants.
- 14:59Speaker 5: That was a terrible game for them last week.
- 15:01Speaker 5: They got stacked on like almost every play yeah, but it seemed like everybody in New York was pretty pissed off.
- 15:09Speaker 5: I think they're going to bounce back.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Lose by only a few balls.
- 15:12Speaker 5: I want to go with you.
- 15:17Speaker 1: This game really, really sucks.
- 15:19Speaker 1: The Cowboys played well against the rival.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I think the Cowboys will win this game.
- 15:27Speaker 1: The Giants are terrible, so are the Cowboys.
- 15:29Speaker 1: By three and a half yeah they're going to win by a touchdown.
- 15:32Speaker 1: That hook man that hook's going to be tough.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I would not be surprised, but I'm going to go favorites on this one.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Give me the Cowboys.
- 15:39Speaker 1: All right, let's go to the night game.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Fun matchup the Dolphins on a little streak here.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Now we'll take it up on the road in Lambeau Field at night on Thanksgiving.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Ooh.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Uh-oh, it's going to be cold.
- 15:58Speaker 5: Yeah, they're getting cold 28 degrees, with a chance of snow showers.
- 16:01Speaker 1: But you know this team has played in Buffalo.
- 16:04Speaker 1: You know they're going to have to get used to it.
- 16:06Speaker 1: If they want to do anything in the playoffs they're going to have to go on the road and win and it's going to be cold.
- 16:11Speaker 1: So this is a good warm-up for that, just kind of see where you're going to stand and how you're going to play.
- 16:18Speaker 1: They're getting three in Green Bay, mike.
- 16:21Speaker 1: How do you see it?
- 16:23Speaker 5: I like.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Obviously I like the Dolphins, but in this one I'm taking Green Bay.
- 16:27Speaker 5: We all saw how the Dolphins did last year in Kansas City when it was cold.
- 16:31Speaker 5: It's not going to be that cold, but I think with snow.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Oh, you got the weather report.
- 16:36Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, what's he got?
- 16:38Speaker 5: 28 chance of snow showers.
- 16:39Speaker 5: Ooh, it's going to be.
- 16:42Speaker 5: Hey, how about that?
- 16:43Speaker 5: Before we go any further, how about that game last week?
- 16:46Speaker 1: Oh, hold on, We'll get there.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Okay, we're getting there.
- 16:52Speaker 5: I really love Miami Wings.
- 16:55Speaker 1: You're going Green Bay Minus three, all right, justin.
- 16:56Speaker 1: You're going Green Bay minus three?
- 16:57Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, justin.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm picking this one with my heart, because if the Dolphins don't win, the season's over, Well, the last time the Dolphins played in the snow on Thanksgiving, we were chilling.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Oh the field goal yeah.
- 17:16Speaker 5: And they had it lost.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Is that the leon?
- 17:19Speaker 4: From the dumb ass of defeat uh leon let who ran down and kicked the ball oh man, he he grew up a dolphin's fan just watching the broadcast of that.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Uh, today I was, and as I turned to the yoda speak um today I was uh, but it was hilarious because they didn't even show it.
- 17:40Speaker 1: They're just showing as I turned to the Yoda speak Today.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I was, but it was hilarious because they didn't even show it.
- 17:43Speaker 1: They're just showing all the reactions of the win, like they're showing Jerry Jones cheering on the sideline and then the commentators are like well, hold on now.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Then they have to find the replay, so you don't even get to see it until after the play's over?
- 17:59Speaker 5: Was that in Dallas?
- 18:00Speaker 5: Was it snowing?
- 18:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it was snowing in Dallas, not Miami.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Yeah, well, okay.
- 18:08Speaker 5: It was snowing at Joe Robbie back in 93.
- 18:10Speaker 3: It was a weird neutral field game up in.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Miami.
- 18:14Speaker 3: All right, all right.
- 18:16Speaker 1: So, Justin, did you pick this one?
- 18:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going with one.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Yeah, you said Yep, I'm going with the Dolphins.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Man, they're hot, the Packers are not and the Dolphins desperately need this game to stay alive in the playoff run.
- 18:26Speaker 3: So I think Dolphins play with desperation Get the win and get the win.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Oh wow, Jimmy.
- 18:34Speaker 4: I don't want to go for it but I think Packers, because Miami does struggle in the snow.
- 18:38Speaker 4: In the last seven years they beat Buffalo once.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, I think the Packers win.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I hate to do it and I hope I'm wrong.
- 18:46Speaker 1: But Packers will cover.
- 18:47Speaker 1: This might be a push, but I think that's reverse jinxing me.
- 18:51Speaker 1: So if they lose by a field goal, we get a tie, All right.
- 18:57Speaker 5: All right, let's move on.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Yeah, let's move to the Black Friday game, and the Silver and Black will be taking on the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead.
- 19:10Speaker 1: They played them tough last time and that's what they do.
- 19:12Speaker 1: The Chiefs don't blow anybody out and the Raiders are getting 12.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I'm going with the trends.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I'm taking the Raiders to cover Justin.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Yeah, the Raiders cover that spread.
- 19:23Speaker 3: I've been saying it for like a month now.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Dude, the Chiefs don't blow anybody out.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I mean, they couldn't even blow out the freaking Panthers man.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Yeah, so Raiders are going to cover that spread, even without Minshew.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Oh, all right, so no Minshew.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Yeah, Minshew's out who do we got Ritter?
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yep Spencer Ritter, no.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Ritter, Desmond Ritter yeah which one, desmond Ritter, does it matter?
- 19:46Speaker 5: It doesn't matter.
- 19:47Speaker 1: 12 points though.
- 19:49Speaker 4: That's the QB for the Raiders.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Desmond Ritter.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Yeah, Desmond Ritter.
- 19:54Speaker 5: Oh, chiefs oh, chiefs, yeah, I think we might take all right, jimmy's are going chiefs.
- 20:04Speaker 5: Uh, mike, who you got, I'm gonna take the raiders.
- 20:05Speaker 1: This is the craziest thing of the package, like yeah, they don't find a way to find a way to keep it close and then but I mean it's.
- 20:12Speaker 1: You could look at it a lot of ways.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I mean, every time in a close game they know what to do and, which is more likely, you're gonna see those in the playoffs.
- 20:22Speaker 4: So I figure they gotta have one game that they blow somebody out kind of that's what I said like a few picks this year.
- 20:29Speaker 1: So big carolina, right, I'm just gonna go trends here.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I I've, uh, I'm gonna go vegas to cover, although without Gardner, though that does change.
- 20:39Speaker 4: Ritter is so bad yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 1: They might just get like a 21-3 win.
- 20:45Speaker 1: You know they might just get like a Late defensive TD, just an inept kind of cover.
- 20:51Speaker 1: You know where the other team just defaults.
- 20:53Speaker 4: Are we talking you into it?
- 20:55Speaker 1: Maybe that Mins you out Really, like my eyebrows were raised.
- 21:01Speaker 1: All right, let's move on.
- 21:03Speaker 1: We might have to come back.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Let's go to Minnesota the Cardinals.
- 21:07Speaker 1: This is a good game.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Cardinals are going to Minnesota to take on the Vikings.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Cardinals coming off a tough home loss I mean division loss on the road to Seattle.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Looks like you're.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I got that one right.
- 21:23Speaker 1: They were able to shut down McDonald was able to shut down Kyler Murray.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Will he be able to bounce back in Minnesota?
- 21:32Speaker 4: What time is the kickoff for this game?
- 21:34Speaker 1: This is Sunday at 1.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Oof.
- 21:35Speaker 1: This is no.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Kirk Cousins –of Kirk Cousins Not Kirk Cousins, but San Donald.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Yeah, at home the Cardinals are getting three and a half the hook.
- 21:48Speaker 1: They bring you back, jimmy, who you got Vikings.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Yeah, minus the three and a half.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Mike are you?
- 21:56Speaker 5: sick Vikings.
- 21:57Speaker 5: I'm back on Minnesota, yeah.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Oh wow, all right, justin, I'm back.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Yeah, no, the Cardinals looked terrible last week, and I mean, like we said just a couple weeks ago, man, it's the second half of the season.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Yeah, they always seem to fall apart A couple of things that you said about the Cardinals and then one of their former coaches, and that being Clips Kingsbury and the Commander's play calling, is starting to be getting figured out too.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but we'll get to that.
- 22:25Speaker 3: I'm taking the bikes.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Oh wow, all right, give me the Cardinals, all right.
- 22:28Speaker 1: You know, I think when you play that bad, you got to come back.
- 22:32Speaker 1: You got to come back and show something.
- 22:35Speaker 1: This game, I don't think this game's going to be a fun game.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I think that hook is what brings me back.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I think the Cardinals cover Vikings get the win.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Last-minute field goal.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Let's go to Jacksonville, which we got a stinker.
- 22:49Speaker 1: The Texans, who have been look really bad, lost to Tennessee last week.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Yeah, that was a rough one man.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Yeah, man, that safety.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Old Bo Callahan.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Yeah Will Evans.
- 23:00Speaker 3: I mean he did his best to try to give the Texans the win.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Yeah, they just.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Well, they're going to be in Jacksonville, and is it?
- 23:07Speaker 1: It's old boy Mac Jones?
- 23:11Speaker 1: Yep.
- 23:12Speaker 4: The Mac attack.
- 23:13Speaker 1: He's getting five at home.
- 23:15Speaker 1: He's bad too, man, he's getting five at home.
- 23:17Speaker 1: He's bad too, man who you got.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Justin, Not Jags, I guess.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I mean I got to take the Texans, Whatever the spread is, as long as it's not a two-touchdown spread, I got to take the Texans.
- 23:35Speaker 3: I mean the Jags are in a soft tank.
- 23:39Speaker 5: Maybe in a hard tank.
- 23:40Speaker 3: They're terrible.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I don't think he's going to miss the rest of the season.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Trevor Lawrence, okay, but he will be out this game, yeah.
- 23:53Speaker 1: So who'd you go with on that one?
- 23:57Speaker 1: I'm taking Texans, alright, right, uh, jimmy, we're going.
- 24:01Speaker 1: We're going texans minus the five.
- 24:04Speaker 5: Mike yeah, I am too.
- 24:06Speaker 5: It looks like trevor lawrence is questionable you know what?
- 24:09Speaker 1: let's start.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna go jags to cover here.
- 24:12Speaker 1: They've been giving me a lot of covers this year, except for that one terrible one where I picked against the detroit lines.
- 24:21Speaker 1: This one, this is gonna put in my little kiddie pool of host flips, though with the raiders chiefs they're over there swimming I'm gonna get one of them out of there
- 24:31Speaker 4: pulling one of you guys one of those.
- 24:33Speaker 1: All right, let's move on.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Let's go to New England.
- 24:40Speaker 1: God another bad one, Indy.
- 24:43Speaker 1: The Colts are going to the Patriots.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Patriots are getting two and a half.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Jimmy, who you got?
- 24:49Speaker 3: Colts oh stunner.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yep, not really.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I mean, the Patriots suck.
- 24:56Speaker 4: So do the Colts.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:57Speaker 3: I know.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Mike, who you got.
- 25:01Speaker 5: Oh man, this is crazy.
- 25:03Speaker 5: I guess I'll take Indianapolis here, I don't know, all right.
- 25:08Speaker 1: New.
- 25:09Speaker 5: England looks so good, sullivan's dominated them.
- 25:11Speaker 5: That was crazy, yeah.
- 25:13Speaker 5: What was the score?
- 25:14Speaker 5: Was it 30-0 at one point?
- 25:16Speaker 3: Yeah, something like that.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Something like that.
- 25:19Speaker 3: I think it was like 34-6.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Drake.
- 25:21Speaker 4: May looked like a rookie.
- 25:22Speaker 4: That was the defense for.
- 25:24Speaker 5: New England, that's surprising man.
- 25:25Speaker 4: They're just awful.
- 25:27Speaker 1: They looked tough at the beginning of the year, Justin who you got in this.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I'm actually going to take my boy Drake May, drake, may over Anthony Richardson, I agree.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'm going to go home, boy Drake May.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Yeah, drake May over Anthony Richardson.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I agree, I'm going to go home, team, when you look that bad.
- 25:41Speaker 4: That's right.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Richardson, is the guy now right?
- 25:43Speaker 1: I'm going to go, give me the points, I'll go.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Patriots at home.
- 25:46Speaker 5: He might get tired and have to come out.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yep, colts get up.
- 25:50Speaker 1: They get tired, though, and the Patriots go go by him like a tortoise.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Alright, let's go to Atlanta.
- 26:03Speaker 1: A good game here.
- 26:04Speaker 1: It's the Chargers coming off a short week.
- 26:07Speaker 1: A loss at home to older bro, older brother, and stole his milk and steak, took it out of town, left the fat and gristle on the plate for him 30-23 over the Chargers.
- 26:21Speaker 1: They're going to be going cross-country on a short week, but to Atlanta, which is for some reason the one place if you're going to travel across country.
- 26:31Speaker 1: You want to go there to play Because for some reason it feels like teams can go in there and win.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Seattle did earlier.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Well, it's a Delta hub man.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Some reason it feels like teams can go in there and win seattle did.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Well, it's a delta hub man.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's like everyone's so used to traveling there.
- 26:42Speaker 4: So it's like, oh yeah we're just going we're just going to atlanta yeah all right, well, they're going, uh, they're getting.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Uh, the falcons are getting two at home.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Justin, who you got?
- 26:54Speaker 3: oh yeah man that's a tough one actually, oh man, I'm going to go with the better quarterback, I'm going to go with Justin Herbert.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Better quarterback, better coach, give me the Chargers.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Jimmy.
- 27:07Speaker 4: Chargers.
- 27:12Speaker 5: Mike, I will take the Atlanta.
- 27:17Speaker 5: I haven't taken them up on their dogs yet.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I'm taking Atlanta, atlanta at home.
- 27:21Speaker 1: There's something about the Dirty Bird, though, that I can't.
- 27:25Speaker 1: When they got blown out in Denver, that really was a bad loss.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I think the Chargers are a better all-around team and I'm going to go with the better quarterback.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Give me Herbert, all right, I'll go to go with the better quarterback Give me Herbert, all right, I'll go.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Chargers by a field goal All right, let's move on.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Let's go to Cincinnati.
- 27:50Speaker 1: The Steelers are in Cincinnati.
- 27:52Speaker 1: They're getting three on the road.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Jimmy, who you got?
- 27:58Speaker 4: All right, man.
- 27:59Speaker 4: What do we think here?
- 28:00Speaker 4: The old hometown Bengals you think they got it over the Steelers.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Nope, all right, all right, we're going Steelers, all right, and especially they're getting a field goal, yep.
- 28:09Speaker 1: So who you got, justin.
- 28:15Speaker 3: I think this is going to be one of those weird NFL games, dude.
- 28:19Speaker 3: I mean, the Steelers cannot keep winning.
- 28:21Speaker 3: They're not going to only have two losses at the end of the season.
- 28:23Speaker 3: This feels like one that they lose a divisional game to Joe Burrow.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Give me the Bengals.
- 28:31Speaker 1: All right, Mike.
- 28:34Speaker 5: I'm with Jimmy Jr here, nope.
- 28:38Speaker 1: I'm going to go with Justin on this.
- 28:42Speaker 1: This I'm going to go with the Bengals.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I think the little streak continues.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I think Joe Burrow has been putting up big numbers and you have him and Chase Chase is playing to be the top paid receiver.
- 28:53Speaker 1: So those two are going to keep that pace up.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I think they're going to outscore Russell Wilson and the Steelers.
- 29:00Speaker 1: All right At home.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Let's go to New York.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Oh, I guess my Jets your Jets.
- 29:09Speaker 4: Oh wow, unrealized idea, unrealized.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers was talking about still playing.
- 29:19Speaker 3: He was talking about mcafee how much he enjoys living in new jersey.
- 29:22Speaker 1: So that's something oh man, uh, they're hosting the seahawks, uh, coming in from across the country.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Seattle is giving two to the jets only two Only two huh, yeah.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Well, you know how those Jets are in the covers.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Everybody likes to bet them.
- 29:43Speaker 1: They're hosting the West team.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I'll go first.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I'm getting off this train.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I'm jumping off.
- 29:52Speaker 4: There's no parachute, I'm just jumping, jumping off the Iowa-esque train.
- 29:56Speaker 1: I'm hoping for something to happen, but I'll go Seattle here, parachute, I'm just jumping, jumping off the iowa.
- 29:58Speaker 1: I'm hoping for something to happen, uh, but I'm gonna.
- 29:59Speaker 1: I'll go seattle here.
- 29:59Speaker 1: I think they're the team that has gone against the norm and traveling across country where they have won earlier in the year.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I think they do it again because jets suck and seahawks are first place.
- 30:12Speaker 1: So they have.
- 30:13Speaker 1: They have stuff to play for, right, so give me Seattle.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Jimmy, what do we think?
- 30:20Speaker 4: Man Seahawks easily.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Yeah, easily yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Justin, yeah, not the Jets.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Yeah, mike, yeah, not the Jets, yeah.
- 30:32Speaker 1: All right, let's go to Washington, where the commanders have hit a little bump in the road, but they got Tennessee coming in.
- 30:43Speaker 1: This is maybe what you want to see, but, as the Texans found out last week, it's not what you wanted to see.
- 30:48Speaker 1: The Texans are getting five and a half in Washington.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Jimmy, who you got?
- 30:54Speaker 1: Commanders?
- 30:56Speaker 1: All right, you think they're going to get the bounce back here.
- 30:58Speaker 1: The bounce back, yeah.
- 30:59Speaker 4: Willie Levi's man, you know, against Daniels.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Justin.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Yeah, bo Callahan can't do it two weeks in a row.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Give me the commies, mike.
- 31:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll go with Washington as well.
- 31:15Speaker 1: You know what?
- 31:15Speaker 1: Maybe they're going to go to this birthday party.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Maybe that's what it is.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Maybe they came around, maybe the teammates showed up.
- 31:23Speaker 3: They're going to a Thanksgiving man.
- 31:24Speaker 3: They're going.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Yes, yes, they're all going to Billy Callahan's for Thanksgiving and he's going to lead the team into a.
- 31:33Speaker 1: He's going to have the lead and he's going to blow it.
- 31:36Speaker 4: And they're going to lose by only a field goal, they're going to come together and all mayonnaise and everybody's coffee I'm going to.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Titans to cover here.
- 31:46Speaker 1: No way, that's right.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Alright, let's go to New Orleans, as the Rams will be in New Orleans taking on the Saints.
- 31:54Speaker 1: The Saints are getting two and a half at home.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Jimmy, who you got?
- 32:00Speaker 4: I'm going to do this one man.
- 32:01Speaker 4: I'm going Rams.
- 32:01Speaker 4: I just want the Cedar Secondary to come together so Fiske and Vers don't have to do all that for nothing, because they're beasting right now.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Right, and I hate the damn Rams.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and the Rams have to have this one.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess they're still alive in the NFC West.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Well, everybody's still alive.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Saints are dead.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Yeah, justin, how do you see it?
- 32:25Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I'm a Jimmy man.
- 32:27Speaker 3: The Rams need this, one, kind of like the Dolphins.
- 32:30Speaker 3: This is a must win for the Rams and the Saints want to lose because they need to draft like Cam Ward or something.
- 32:36Speaker 3: I'm taking the Rams.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Yeah, mike, yep, yeah, I'm with you.
- 32:44Speaker 1: I think this might be a little quiet tank job that the Saints might be going into you know you fire your coach.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yeah, they're kind of All right, let's go to.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Let's go to Carolina, as the Panthers are going to be hosting Baker and the Bucs coming out of the blowout.
- 33:02Speaker 1: This is a matchup of Tampa Bay's previous OC who took the head coaching job at Carolina.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Now he's going up against Baker and the Bucs and he's getting six at home.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:18Speaker 5: It's a little high, he's getting six at home, ooh yeah.
- 33:19Speaker 5: It's a little high but.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Tampa's playing well, right, you know.
- 33:22Speaker 5: And they're 1-4 in the last five.
- 33:25Speaker 1: And Todd Bowles feasts on young quarterbacks.
- 33:28Speaker 5: Right.
- 33:28Speaker 4: So, we're using the term quarterback loosely with Bryce Young Right.
- 33:34Speaker 1: I mean he can confuse him Vita Vea right there in his face.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Oh my God, dude, that should be illegal.
- 33:39Speaker 4: That guy's a freaking monster.
- 33:40Speaker 4: He's 14 times the size of Bryce Young dude.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Tampa's.
- 33:45Speaker 1: You know Baker's playing well.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Yeah, he really is, and I think Mike Evans is coming back.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Yeah, he's back.
- 33:52Speaker 3: He was back last week.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know it probably takes a little bit to even get more inclined to the game speed.
- 33:59Speaker 1: So I think he comes back a little more in the statistical column.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I'm going Bucs here Minus the six Jimmy.
- 34:09Speaker 4: Bucs.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Justin who you got Bucs yeah, um, I mean bryce young's, not a quarterback, um, with mike evans.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Back to the the bucks offense they got the run, the tuba, tuba hubbard.
- 34:26Speaker 1: As the broadcaster pointed out, they played the chiefs.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Tough man and I.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I think the running game carolina's playing a lot better and this is a.
- 34:35Speaker 1: That was a.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Me picking the bucks wass was harder than I might have to throw this one in the kiddie pool too.
- 34:42Speaker 4: Kiddie pool is getting crowded.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it is Mike who you got.
- 34:47Speaker 5: I'm thinking Carolina, I think they're.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Yeah, six points at home bro Six points home dog.
- 34:52Speaker 1: They're playing well.
- 34:52Speaker 1: A coach that's familiar with Baker Sounds like that's your flip Maybe.
- 34:59Speaker 4: I have to go back to the kiddie pool.
- 35:00Speaker 4: I got to take one of these kids out Filling up with pee man.
- 35:01Speaker 4: You need to go ahead and take one of these kids out, All right.
- 35:06Speaker 1: We all got that one picked.
- 35:09Speaker 5: You're the only one.
- 35:10Speaker 1: All right, justin, you're taking the Bucs.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I got Tampa.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Let's go to Baltimore.
- 35:16Speaker 1: This is a good matchup.
- 35:17Speaker 1: The Eagles are going to be in Baltimore to take on the Ravens.
- 35:22Speaker 1: A battle of the top teams in each conference.
- 35:27Speaker 1: The Eagles are getting three in Baltimore.
- 35:38Speaker 4: Jimmy, who you got?
- 35:38Speaker 4: We like the Eagles yeah.
- 35:41Speaker 1: We like Saquon and Cooper DeGene baby.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Saquon looks great, yeah, great yeah yeah, him and hurts are a deadly combo.
- 35:44Speaker 1: They really are.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you're taking the pressure off hurts where he can really hurt you imagine if they had a coast.
- 35:47Speaker 4: It wasn't a moron right.
- 35:53Speaker 1: um, I think I'm gonna go with you here, as the Ravens seem to play close games.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I think this might be a push, but I'm going to take the points with the Eagles, mike.
- 36:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I like the Eagles too.
- 36:09Speaker 5: Baltimore I can't figure out Baltimore.
- 36:13Speaker 1: They beat the Chargers by a few.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I mean by a touchdown.
- 36:16Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, they beat them.
- 36:17Speaker 5: They have some weird games.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Yeah, they beat them.
- 36:19Speaker 1: They have some weird games.
- 36:20Speaker 5: Yeah, they do.
- 36:21Speaker 5: I'm going with.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Philadelphia, alright Justin.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Yeah, philly is on fire right now and I believe Devonta Smith will be back this week.
- 36:32Speaker 3: I know how they're full.
- 36:34Speaker 3: They're ready to roll dude.
- 36:37Speaker 1: And you know I still don't trust lamar jackson in big games, man I think that they've complimented jaylen hurts like better than anybody else, like this guy.
- 36:47Speaker 1: I mean, they made, they've just given him like what was it?
- 36:51Speaker 1: The receivers last year?
- 36:52Speaker 1: Oh, you need to run him back.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Okay, we'll go get you saquon yeah, I mean god.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I mean he's got to feel more confident than anybody and I'm telling you, man, that guy can squat like 600 pounds as a quarterback I mean.
- 37:07Speaker 1: So you get him a running game now and the pressure's not there to throw it this guy.
- 37:13Speaker 1: They're dangerous.
- 37:15Speaker 4: Makes his throws easy.

- 37:26Speaker 1: I think they're in a collision on the first two down collision course with the lions to play for a shot at the super bowl.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I mean, there's no two better teams right now.
- 37:35Speaker 1: All let's go.
