- 0:51Speaker 2: Good?
- 0:51Speaker 1: Finally, maybe maybe they'll put us in the algorithm. Baby,
- 0:57Speaker 1: we say bad words, we have dumb opinions objectively, and
- 1:01Speaker 1: we're not going to apologize about it.
- 1:03Speaker 2: So if you're all sensative.
- 1:09Speaker 1: You might want to find yourself another dumpster. But if
- 1:13Speaker 1: you want to travel with the Browns to the hospital
- 1:16Speaker 1: and watch it truly has a medical emergency, then welcome

- 1:44Speaker 1: and we're also going to be diving back into couples
- 1:46Speaker 1: Therapy because we did not know, yeah, that there was
- 1:49Speaker 1: a season four B. I can't believe that we covered
- 1:52Speaker 1: season four. I guess A. I guess there's a B.
- 1:55Speaker 1: And so we can't wait to get back in.

- 2:13Speaker 1: single one of those things truly does boost us in
- 2:16Speaker 1: the algorithm. And we're still trying to grow up here. Yeah,
- 2:19Speaker 1: we haven't reached six thousand subscribers yet, but a long haul,
- 2:23Speaker 1: but we know that those of you who love us
- 2:25Speaker 1: are here with us. So if you would be so
- 2:26Speaker 1: inclined to help us, we would appreciate it. Thank you
- 2:30Speaker 1: in VAM thank you. So did you have any takeaways
- 2:34Speaker 1: from this episode of Sister Wives, Speedra.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I just felt so bad for a little baby, truly.
- 2:40Speaker 2: I mean, she just looked so sick, just like swaddled
- 2:44Speaker 2: up on the couch and her little blue banket, and
- 2:46Speaker 2: I'm just like, man, mm hmmm, I feel so bad.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Cody kind of made me mad about the whole thing. Yeah,
- 2:52Speaker 2: I mean we'll get into it, but it's just like,
- 2:55Speaker 2: I just felt bad for a little baby truly.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Yeah. I actually obviously felt bad her truly because she
- 3:01Speaker 1: went through like a very serious medical event. But I
- 3:04Speaker 1: also really felt bad for Aspen because this is a child,
- 3:09Speaker 1: a woman, a young woman who has been so deeply parentified,
- 3:13Speaker 1: and she has not been given like the psychological resources
- 3:17Speaker 1: and assistance to be able to process as an adult
- 3:20Speaker 1: parent would. And so here is this young child, three
- 3:23Speaker 1: year old, truly, who may not make it. Yeah, and
- 3:27Speaker 1: Aspen was the main child who was taking care of,
- 3:30Speaker 1: truly while all the wives went to San fran and
- 3:32Speaker 1: Cody pretended he was a father while he burned the
- 3:35Speaker 1: steaks on the grill. And so I just can only
- 3:37Speaker 1: imagine the sense of responsibility and then the subsequent sense
- 3:42Speaker 1: of failure that she might have been grappling with, and
- 3:45Speaker 1: you kind of see her break down a few times
- 3:46Speaker 1: in this episode, and I'm like, oh, Aspen, I know
- 3:49Speaker 1: it wasn't your fault, it's not your responsibility, and you're such.
- 3:53Speaker 2: A good girl. I know she did the best that
- 3:55Speaker 2: she could. She's like, what eighteen or seventeen right here.
- 3:58Speaker 1: So yeah, I feel bad for her too, But it
- 4:01Speaker 1: was a good episode without further a jew, Let's get
- 4:04Speaker 1: into season six, episode sixteen, entitled.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Brown's in Crisis, op Lord, and they were. They were
- 4:12Speaker 2: definitely in crisis. But before we get into like all
- 4:15Speaker 2: of the Truly stuff, we start off the episode with
- 4:19Speaker 2: Christine saying that she took Truly to the doctor after
- 4:23Speaker 2: she was sick last episode, and the doctor was like, oh,
- 4:26Speaker 2: she just has the flu, like whatever, and they sent
- 4:29Speaker 2: her home. So while she's at home trying to recuperate
- 4:33Speaker 2: from said flu, the adults go out and they start
- 4:37Speaker 2: to like look for shit for their commitment service. Yes,
- 4:41Speaker 2: they go pick up flowers and and.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Then we're talking about a lot of flowers. Yeah, the
- 4:47Speaker 1: whole family loves Kaliily.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Snory. It's so dumb. And then we go and look
- 4:54Speaker 2: at cakes.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Well before we look at cakes, though, they come up
- 4:57Speaker 1: with the bright idea of a tree, and so like
- 5:00Speaker 1: they're looking at the foliage and the different flowers, right
- 5:03Speaker 1: and Mary at the florists, just like, well, it wouldn't
- 5:06Speaker 1: be cool if we had like a tree of life motif?
- 5:08Speaker 2: Oh for the theme, oh for the sea of the party.
- 5:10Speaker 1: So this is I guess where it starts to really
- 5:13Speaker 1: take on a life with the Browns. And this becomes
- 5:15Speaker 1: ultimately the theme of their commitment ceremony, the tree of life,
- 5:19Speaker 1: because they're finally in the cul de sac. They can
- 5:22Speaker 1: put down their roots and they can grow together, which
- 5:25Speaker 1: just kills me.
- 5:26Speaker 2: It's so stupid.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Obviously, in five years you're gonna be leaving Las Vegas
- 5:30Speaker 1: and moving to flag Staff and you've got a time capsule,
- 5:33Speaker 1: you've got a tree that you're planting, and like you're
- 5:35Speaker 1: just going to abandon all of Yes, crazy, it's absolutely
- 5:39Speaker 1: crazy business.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Yes, it's absolutely insane. And then when they go and
- 5:42Speaker 2: meet with the cake designer and they start talking about
- 5:45Speaker 2: like what they envision for the cake, and Cody comes
- 5:48Speaker 2: up with the bread idea.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Of I want a giant tree cake.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I want it to be at least thirty six inches high.
- 5:55Speaker 2: It's got to feed five hundred people. I want it
- 5:58Speaker 2: to be a big old stump with a big old
- 6:01Speaker 2: bushel of tree, and the cake designers like, okay, we
- 6:04Speaker 2: can try to do that. It's gonna be eighty five
- 6:05Speaker 2: hundred dollars though, I.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Know, and Janelle before she even heard the cost of
- 6:09Speaker 1: the cake, it's just like, we have to think about prices,
- 6:14Speaker 1: and we have to think about like what we can
- 6:15Speaker 1: afford and what's in the budget. And yeah, even though
- 6:19Speaker 1: this show has been on for six seasons on TLC,
- 6:22Speaker 1: they're not necessarily rolling in a ton of dough. Yet
- 6:26Speaker 1: they've probably over extended themselves in order to get into
- 6:29Speaker 1: these call to sack homes and now they're trying to
- 6:31Speaker 1: sort of live according to that lifestyle and that's costing money.
- 6:36Speaker 1: And so we still have Janelle trying to be the
- 6:38Speaker 1: voice of reason, like, do we really need an eighty
- 6:41Speaker 1: five hundred dollars you know, circuit to twenty thirteen twenty
- 6:45Speaker 1: fourteen cake for our dumbass for content only party that
- 6:50Speaker 1: I don't even want to be a part of.
- 6:52Speaker 2: It's kind of crazy because you see Cody's like desire
- 6:55Speaker 2: to be like to portray himself as richer than he is, Like, Oh,
- 7:00Speaker 2: I want this big, beautiful, fancy tree, and like when
- 7:02Speaker 2: the cake designer says it's gonna be eighty five hundred dollars,
- 7:05Speaker 2: Cody at first kind of seems like oh okay, And
- 7:09Speaker 2: Janelle's the one that has to reel him back, and
- 7:11Speaker 2: even Christine is like, we don't really need that cake.
- 7:14Speaker 2: We're sorry to dash your hopes and dreams for this
- 7:17Speaker 2: big beautiful tree cake, but like we don't need that,
- 7:20Speaker 2: Like we can just have a regular smegular cake from Kroger,
- 7:23Speaker 2: Like it doesn't need to be anything fancy. Absolutely, Like
- 7:27Speaker 2: I just couldn't believe Cody, and he seemed like genuinely
- 7:30Speaker 2: upset by it. I wonder if he like held a
- 7:32Speaker 2: little bit of resentment because he didn't get his dream cake.
- 7:35Speaker 1: It's all about him, it is, And it's all about
- 7:38Speaker 1: how he projects himself to be and what he wants.
- 7:41Speaker 1: And I can't believe that they're expecting five hundred people
- 7:45Speaker 1: I know to attend this backyard come initm in ceremony,
- 7:48Speaker 1: Like do they know five hundred people?
- 7:50Speaker 3: Oh?
- 7:50Speaker 2: TLC does?
- 7:52Speaker 1: Okay, I guess we're gonna get there, when we get there, absolutely,
- 7:55Speaker 1: but they wanted to be special with Kal. Lily's a
- 7:57Speaker 1: tree and a cake of a tree.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And I was like thinking back into the archives when
- 8:03Speaker 2: I watched these episodes way back in the day, and
- 8:05Speaker 2: like the commitment ceremonies booty, Like their dresses are booty.
- 8:08Speaker 2: The dress is booty. I'm just like, this is gonna
- 8:11Speaker 2: be so dumb.
- 8:12Speaker 1: They can't wait, like everything they do.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Of course, and then we go over to Leon and
- 8:18Speaker 2: it's Leon's last day at home, I think, because they're
- 8:21Speaker 2: going to college, yes, and this is where they're like
- 8:24Speaker 2: preparing for like a going away party, and Cody wants
- 8:29Speaker 2: to take Leon car shopping, and I'm just like wondering,
- 8:33Speaker 2: did the other kids get to go to car shopping?
- 8:36Speaker 2: Did they have a car? Did they get a car
- 8:37Speaker 2: from like Craigslist? And Leon gets to go to a dealership,
- 8:40Speaker 2: like I don't.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Know, Well, I'm wondering who's paying for this vehicle for
- 8:44Speaker 1: that because in later seasons, I do believe just last season,
- 8:48Speaker 1: Mary's like I got the car, I paid for the tuition.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I was the one who had to extend myself and
- 8:53Speaker 1: come out of my own pockets on behalf of Leon's
- 8:56Speaker 1: so I'm just like, are you even going to pay
- 8:58Speaker 1: for this car? Why?
- 8:59Speaker 4: Know?
- 9:00Speaker 1: So acting like you are.
- 9:01Speaker 2: I know, it's super weird to me. But like Leon's
- 9:04Speaker 2: big day of going to college and everything gets overshadowed
- 9:07Speaker 2: by Truly because Truly is just getting like sicker and sicker.
- 9:11Speaker 2: This is where Christine decides to take Truly to the
- 9:14Speaker 2: doctor's office again, because she ended up going.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Cross side a few times.
- 9:19Speaker 2: A few times apparently according to Aspen and mchelte.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Which okay, So finally when Christine sees Truly go cross side,
- 9:27Speaker 1: she realizes, oh, this is disturbing. It's something wrong. We
- 9:31Speaker 1: need to go to the doctor. But according to Aspin
- 9:34Speaker 1: and mchelty, they had seen it a few times before that. Yeah,
- 9:38Speaker 1: I would imagine they sent up the flare and let
- 9:40Speaker 1: Christine know, And I'm like, why aren't we Why are
- 9:43Speaker 1: we not going to the hospital. And I wanted to
- 9:45Speaker 1: ask you a question about the doctor visit after San Francisco,
- 9:51Speaker 1: because at the top of this episode, like you said,
- 9:53Speaker 1: they again took Truly to the doctor. The doctor's like,
- 9:56Speaker 1: it's probably just the flu. Yeah, and we know that
- 9:59Speaker 1: she is very shortly from that point going to go
- 10:01Speaker 1: into a cute kidney failure, Like, is there really no
- 10:04Speaker 1: fevor for a cute kidney failure? Is there really no
- 10:09Speaker 1: symptom or other symptoms that they would have been able
- 10:11Speaker 1: to pick up on before she's keeling over and going crossside?
- 10:14Speaker 2: You know, I'm not sure with kids, like I know
- 10:17Speaker 2: with adults, like it's it presents a little bit differently.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Kids are like super resilient until they're not. And so
- 10:22Speaker 2: it's like, you know, they probably went to the pediatrician
- 10:25Speaker 2: and they're like, yeah, she's got the flu, which I
- 10:27Speaker 2: think she did actually have the flu. She just ended
- 10:30Speaker 2: up like severely dehydrated and then ended up in the
- 10:33Speaker 2: kidney failure because of the dehydration. But she had the flu,
- 10:37Speaker 2: and so that's what they're they're just gonna say that.
- 10:39Speaker 2: They're just gonna be like, yeah, she's fine, just you know,
- 10:42Speaker 2: like give her some theraflu and she'll be fine, like whatever.
- 10:45Speaker 2: But because she ended up so dehydrated, that was why
- 10:49Speaker 2: she ended up getting cross eyed and going to the
- 10:51Speaker 2: getting into kidney failure.
- 10:52Speaker 1: And with regard that didn't mean to cut you, no, no,
- 10:55Speaker 1: with regard to the dehydration. So if she had the flu,
- 11:01Speaker 1: then as a parent, I would know, like, is she
- 11:04Speaker 1: I don't know if she's poopin, I don't know if
- 11:05Speaker 1: she's barfin, But like, whatever she's doing, I'm giving her
- 11:07Speaker 1: pedia light, I'm making sure she's got electrolytes. I'm making
- 11:10Speaker 1: sure in particular that she's got fluids that she needs.
- 11:15Speaker 1: But when you delegate that responsibility to Aspen, who may
- 11:19Speaker 1: not have I mean, she probably does, but she may
- 11:21Speaker 1: not have the knowledge of that.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Or she's eight.
- 11:24Speaker 1: She's eighteen, and Michelti, who's even younger than that. And
- 11:27Speaker 1: you're like, not, we talked about this last week, You're
- 11:29Speaker 1: not actually staying over at Christine's house because every time
- 11:32Speaker 1: I saw Cody, He's coming out of Robin's house exactly.
- 11:35Speaker 1: So yep, And I'm like, why y' always over there already?
- 11:38Speaker 1: The first year in the called?
- 11:40Speaker 4: Is that?
- 11:40Speaker 1: So you've got these two young girls who probably just
- 11:43Speaker 1: don't know better that they've got to continue to be
- 11:46Speaker 1: pushing ped light and fluids and all of this, and
- 11:48Speaker 1: so we have this inevitable breakdown of truly and I
- 11:53Speaker 1: just I feel like it's not a fluke. And I
- 11:56Speaker 1: know a lot of people think that this is just happenstance,
- 11:59Speaker 1: and like, we can't blame Cody, we can't blame anybody.
- 12:01Speaker 1: But I'm just like, I don't know, but as a
- 12:03Speaker 1: mom and stuff like that with a sick kid, I'd
- 12:05Speaker 1: be like, why aren't you just push and fluids the
- 12:08Speaker 1: entire time? I don't understand why being judgmental.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I mean no, because I kind of thought the same thing.
- 12:14Speaker 2: And I think that this is like indicative of the
- 12:16Speaker 2: problem of having like such a large family too, because
- 12:19Speaker 2: things like this get overlooked, like when you have so
- 12:22Speaker 2: many kids, and like if it's just Christine managing all
- 12:25Speaker 2: of these kids by herself, and I'm not trying to
- 12:27Speaker 2: like make excuses for the parents not paying attention or
- 12:30Speaker 2: anything like that, but like if Cody's not around and
- 12:33Speaker 2: Christine is having to juggle a bunch of other things
- 12:35Speaker 2: and she's delegating all these tasks to the eldest kids,
- 12:39Speaker 2: it's like, of course it's gonna get missed. And that's
- 12:42Speaker 2: what's so unfortunate, because this really could have been like
- 12:45Speaker 2: the end for truly and it's terrible. Like I'm really
- 12:48Speaker 2: glad that she pulled through and she's healthy and thriving now,
- 12:51Speaker 2: but like watching this bag. I'm like, this is crazy,
- 12:54Speaker 2: Like how did this go unnoticed? Because once Christine finally
- 12:58Speaker 2: notices Trulyie's going cross side, she takes her to the
- 13:02Speaker 2: doctor and I'm just like, why didn't you go to
- 13:04Speaker 2: the er straight? Did you just go to the er straight?
- 13:07Speaker 2: You go to the pediatrician. Okay, pediatrician tells you go
- 13:10Speaker 2: to the fucking er, bitch, and then she goes and
- 13:13Speaker 2: Christie's like, oh my god, I had no idea it
- 13:14Speaker 2: could be so serious. I'm like, what do you mean?
- 13:16Speaker 1: So I have to insert a personal story at this point.
- 13:20Speaker 1: It is probably one of the funniest stories to come
- 13:23Speaker 1: out of my family because of my daughter your wife. Yes,
- 13:27Speaker 1: So when my daughter your wife was I want to say,
- 13:31Speaker 1: in fourth grade, third or fourth grade, little I got
- 13:35Speaker 1: a call from her school saying, missus Delia, something is
- 13:41Speaker 1: wrong with your daughter. All of a sudden, in like
- 13:44Speaker 1: third period, she started having cross eyes, like her eye crossed,
- 13:49Speaker 1: and she was sent to the nurse. We've checked her out.
- 13:51Speaker 1: She seems fine otherwise, but like her eyes are definitely
- 13:54Speaker 1: cross something's wrong. And I was like immediately thinking, oh no,
- 13:59Speaker 1: like brain too, and I don't have six kids. I
- 14:01Speaker 1: didn't have a lot of experience, but I just immediately
- 14:04Speaker 1: thought neurology. I thought a brain. I'm like, I'm taking
- 14:07Speaker 1: her straight to the hospital. So I went and picked
- 14:09Speaker 1: her up. We went to the er. My then husband
- 14:12Speaker 1: was like miles and miles away, but I'm on the phone.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I'm talking to my brother. We get into like the
- 14:18Speaker 1: er and her eyes are definitely crossed, and so I'm
- 14:22Speaker 1: talking to the doctor outside of like the little room,
- 14:25Speaker 1: and he's like, well, like, nothing else seems to be wrong.
- 14:28Speaker 1: It's just very very anomalous and strange that she would
- 14:30Speaker 1: all of a sudden have cross eyes. So we're gonna
- 14:32Speaker 1: have to send her for an MRI. Is a cat,
- 14:36Speaker 1: She's going to have to be imaged, because the only
- 14:39Speaker 1: thing I can think of is that maybe there's a tumor,
- 14:40Speaker 1: maybe there's something going on, and so of course this
- 14:43Speaker 1: is what we do. That's the next step. She gets
- 14:45Speaker 1: sent for an MRI, and I am just internally breaking down.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I'm like Christine in this episode, like I am despondent
- 14:52Speaker 1: because I can't think of anything else that it can be,
- 14:54Speaker 1: and if it's a brain tumor, like the implications of that,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I am just falling a part of on the phone
- 15:00Speaker 1: with my brother. My brother is praying for me, and
- 15:03Speaker 1: like it was so traumatic, and it was like literally
- 15:06Speaker 1: hours as you do when you go to the emergency room.
- 15:08Speaker 1: So they take her to the MRI, they image of her,
- 15:11Speaker 1: get the results back absolutely no problems. Yeah, normal, and
- 15:14Speaker 1: they're like, I don't know what's going on with your
- 15:16Speaker 1: daughter here, and but she seems perfectly healthy. Like the
- 15:20Speaker 1: tests we've run, all other secondary tests seem fine. And
- 15:24Speaker 1: so what they did was they called this ophthalmologist or
- 15:28Speaker 1: this eye doctor. Like it was nine pm by the
- 15:31Speaker 1: time we got out of the hospital and they asked
- 15:33Speaker 1: him to open up his ophthalmology office. He came in
- 15:36Speaker 1: special to meet with my daughter and he fitted her
- 15:39Speaker 1: with little glasses to help her correct her eyes. Stop
- 15:42Speaker 1: it so no, So then he made the glass on
- 15:45Speaker 1: the spot. It took a couple of hours he made
- 15:47Speaker 1: the glasses on the spot for her. We got the glasses,
- 15:50Speaker 1: we got home and we finally just said, okay, let's
- 15:52Speaker 1: go to sleep. And the entire time her eye, her
- 15:55Speaker 1: one eye is crossed in and I'm like, go to sleep,
- 15:58Speaker 1: we'll wake up, you'll have glasses. It'll be really cool,
- 16:00Speaker 1: It'll be fine. And I'm breaking down as a mom.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I'm breaking down Beatrice. And so the next morning, you know,
- 16:07Speaker 1: I walk into her room and she wakes up and
- 16:10Speaker 1: her eyes are okay, her eyes are back to normal,
- 16:14Speaker 1: and I'm like, are you can you see okay? She's like, yeah,
- 16:17Speaker 1: I can see perfectly fine. So long story, long, bitch.
- 16:21Speaker 1: It comes out later, Yeah, quite a while later.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I just think it's a miracle. And Jesus is alive
- 16:30Speaker 1: in me and you and in my daughter, and miracles exist,
- 16:33Speaker 1: and I live in a magical space. Yeah, he says
- 16:35Speaker 1: what I'm thinking. Months later, my daughter tells me that
- 16:40Speaker 1: she was faking it the whole time, and you know why, right,
- 16:42Speaker 1: And she was faking it because she was being bullied
- 16:44Speaker 1: by somebody at school, was making trouble. She didn't want
- 16:47Speaker 1: to go from third period into fourth period if she
- 16:49Speaker 1: wanted to be able to come home. And so when
- 16:51Speaker 1: she tells me this months later, she was wise to
- 16:55Speaker 1: do that, because I was so fucking pretended. If she
- 16:58Speaker 1: had told me in the hospital, I would have lost
- 16:59Speaker 1: my shirt of court. What the are you doing about?
- 17:01Speaker 1: But she waited, and so I was able to chuckle yeah,
- 17:05Speaker 1: and then I was in awe that she kept her
- 17:08Speaker 1: one eye crossed for literally, like I picked her up
- 17:11Speaker 1: at I don't know noon, for literally eleven hours. She
- 17:15Speaker 1: kept one of her little eyes crossed the entire time,
- 17:17Speaker 1: and she was faking.
- 17:18Speaker 4: She went into the MRI with the cross eyes with
- 17:22Speaker 4: a cross dye the entire came out with a gross dye,
- 17:24Speaker 4: went and saw the emergency optician or ophthalmologist, whichever.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Is the doctor one, and they made her fancy glasses.
- 17:32Speaker 2: You know what hanty glasses. They do that with prisms.
- 17:35Speaker 2: They put prisms in her glasses because I used to
- 17:38Speaker 2: work for an eye doctor, and that's what they they
- 17:40Speaker 2: made her. I didn't even know that bird.
- 17:42Speaker 1: It was just a prescription he made that. Yes, yes,
- 17:47Speaker 1: So she had these fancy glasses set on her nightstand.
- 17:50Speaker 1: When she woke up in the morning, I was gonna
- 17:52Speaker 1: be like, it's okay, But her eyes were back and
- 17:55Speaker 1: it was all fake. At least, it was all a lie.
- 18:01Speaker 1: That is my daughter, and I have to respect it.
- 18:05Speaker 1: She was being bullived, but yeah, and that's that's bad.
- 18:08Speaker 1: And then I started teaching her how to fight and
- 18:09Speaker 1: stuff like that. But which is good. Now, Yeah, but
- 18:11Speaker 1: I mean that was my cross eide story. Not the
- 18:15Speaker 1: same as little truly, No, like she had cross eyes
- 18:18Speaker 1: for an actual reason. But that's the lengths my daughter
- 18:20Speaker 1: would go to not have to go to fourth period.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Well, it just speaks to like how Christine is feeling now,
- 18:25Speaker 2: like you can relate to that sense of panic of
- 18:28Speaker 2: like just looking at your young child and being like,
- 18:30Speaker 2: oh my god, what the fuck is wrong? And then
- 18:33Speaker 2: for Christine's sake, like they get sent to the er
- 18:36Speaker 2: and the doc is like worried that it's meningitis which
- 18:39Speaker 2: is fatal, or freaking a brain tumor or whatever, and
- 18:43Speaker 2: he even says it could be kidney failure. And sure enough,
- 18:47Speaker 2: they find out that she is in kidney failure because
- 18:49Speaker 2: her labs are all out of whack. She has no
- 18:51Speaker 2: fluids in her according to Cody, and she has to
- 18:54Speaker 2: be admitted into the hospital and it's terrible.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Terrible, terribleying. And they're hoping that if they give her
- 19:04Speaker 1: fluids and they keep her in the hospital that our
- 19:07Speaker 1: own systems will come back online and she'll start urinating
- 19:11Speaker 1: and she'll start like getting back on track. But that
- 19:13Speaker 1: like doesn't happen. No, for days, for days, they give
- 19:16Speaker 1: her some special medicine to sort of fill her up
- 19:18Speaker 1: with some fluids, and they have to catheterize her because
- 19:21Speaker 1: it's not coming out before they try the dialysis, and
- 19:24Speaker 1: so they didn't do They did abdominal dialysis, which I
- 19:28Speaker 1: didn't even know was a thing. Versus what are you doing?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Is it Carolina Reaper?
- 19:37Speaker 1: You can't just walk in on our podcast?
- 19:41Speaker 2: Is it really good? It has the texture of the bread.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Oh gosh, really good, and so it's not too hot
- 19:47Speaker 1: with the Carolina Reaper pepper.
- 19:50Speaker 2: I put the whole thing in there.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I didn't know seeds and all. Yes, Oh my gosh, yesh,
- 19:57Speaker 1: you like it really?
- 20:02Speaker 2: Thank you all for you.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Sorry about that, everybody listening and watching. That was my husband.
- 20:08Speaker 1: My daughter in law here is a very accomplished and
- 20:11Speaker 1: talented baker of sour dough.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I am obsessed with it and I bake them sour
- 20:16Speaker 2: dough every week.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Every week I get a halapeno chadder low yeah gets
- 20:20Speaker 1: whatever you're making for him.
- 20:21Speaker 2: He always makes me do like some weird spicy pepper things.
- 20:24Speaker 1: So he's growing hobbin niaro's, yeah, And so he gave
- 20:27Speaker 1: her some hobbin niaros for some hobbin niaro bread. But
- 20:29Speaker 1: he's also growing ghost peppers, scorpions.
- 20:31Speaker 2: And carolina apparently.
- 20:34Speaker 1: But he doesn't really know of them. And so he
- 20:36Speaker 1: thought when he saw a red hobin niero looking pepper
- 20:39Speaker 1: that it was just an overly ripe papennero or something.
- 20:42Speaker 2: He thought it was. He told me it was a
- 20:43Speaker 2: Scotch bonnet.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Well that's a hobbin nyiro.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Yeah, He's like, it's a Scotch bonnet.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Thought it was like a red one.
- 20:48Speaker 2: And so I took it home on Sunday and I'm like,
- 20:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna make him bread and I'm gonna surprise him.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I didn't even tell him I was making bread. I
- 20:55Speaker 2: brought it over and then he texts me today as
- 20:57Speaker 2: his bread's in the oven, He's like, oh, by the way,
- 21:00Speaker 2: February gave you is a Carolina reaper. I'm like, oh, okay,
- 21:03Speaker 2: well I put it in your bread.
- 21:06Speaker 1: You're gonna try it no matter what. So he's just
- 21:09Speaker 1: busting in to let her know that it was really good.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Sorry about that. So we were talking about truly getting
- 21:16Speaker 1: abdominal dialysis, yes, versus what other kind of dialom No.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Abdominal dialysis is pretty common it's for your kidneys.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yeah, but I bet there was another type of dialysis
- 21:26Speaker 1: she could have got that was more hardcore that they
- 21:28Speaker 1: were starting with the abdominal dialysis. Yeah, I mean what
- 21:31Speaker 1: the other one was.
- 21:32Speaker 2: I think it's just how it's how it's fed through. Yeah.
- 21:36Speaker 2: I think for like kids, it's a little bit different
- 21:38Speaker 2: because they're so small and their bodies are so delicate,
- 21:42Speaker 2: Like it's different like for older people and stuff that
- 21:44Speaker 2: are getting dialysis and everything. But yeah, so they didn't
- 21:46Speaker 2: want to start her on dialysis at first because she
- 21:49Speaker 2: is such a little baby and they don't want to
- 21:51Speaker 2: put her through all of that. But because she had
- 21:53Speaker 2: she wasn't peeing, and she had no fluids in her
- 21:56Speaker 2: and she wasn't retaining anything, and her labs were all
- 21:58Speaker 2: out of whack, then they had to start the dialysis.
- 22:01Speaker 2: And I think there was like on like day seven
- 22:03Speaker 2: or eight or something like that, like she's in the
- 22:05Speaker 2: hospital for like a freaking week. I think total, she
- 22:08Speaker 2: ended up in the hospital for like eleven days yep,
- 22:10Speaker 2: which is insane for like a little three year old baby.
- 22:13Speaker 2: And the doctors were telling Christine and Cody, like, you know,
- 22:16Speaker 2: cases like this, we don't see the kids making out
- 22:19Speaker 2: of it.
- 22:19Speaker 1: So just FYI, that's a terrible thing to say to
- 22:23Speaker 1: a parent who's standing vigil over their daughter. Horrible as
- 22:29Speaker 1: having a cute kidney failure. And I just really felt
- 22:32Speaker 1: for Christine here because it seems like every night Cody
- 22:36Speaker 1: got to go home to Robin's house and stay with Robin,
- 22:39Speaker 1: and then in the morning he would check in with Christine,
- 22:41Speaker 1: who again has been standing or sitting or laying vigil
- 22:45Speaker 1: the entire time, with truly getting in and out of
- 22:47Speaker 1: her hospital bed, because Truly would call to her and say,
- 22:50Speaker 1: come with me, Mommy in the bed, and so she'd
- 22:51Speaker 1: get in the bed, but there's so much wires and
- 22:54Speaker 1: so many things that she couldn't stay in the bed.
- 22:56Speaker 1: And so but Cody gets to just be Disney dad
- 22:59Speaker 1: in the situation and like skip out of the hospital
- 23:02Speaker 1: and go back to his favorite wife and just call
- 23:05Speaker 1: in and get check ups. I mean, it's not like
- 23:06Speaker 1: he didn't care, and I'm not trying to say that
- 23:10Speaker 1: he doesn't. It's just like it's not something my husband
- 23:14Speaker 1: would do. That shit is not something I would do.
- 23:16Speaker 2: That's what pissed me off about this because I'm just
- 23:19Speaker 2: like I think I saw a post about it on
- 23:21Speaker 2: Reddit a while ago of somebody saying like this would
- 23:24Speaker 2: have been an opportunity for polygamy to like really shine,
- 23:27Speaker 2: Like all three of the other wives that are home
- 23:29Speaker 2: with all of the other kids could have taken over
- 23:32Speaker 2: the forts and like taken over where Christine was gone
- 23:34Speaker 2: and where Cody was gone, so that way Cody could
- 23:38Speaker 2: be with Christine in the hospital with his little baby
- 23:40Speaker 2: three year old that is in kidney failure. But no,
- 23:43Speaker 2: Cody goes home and stays with Robin for some reason,
- 23:47Speaker 2: as if he's like super fucking helpful, like we saw
- 23:50Speaker 2: just last episode when he's when everybody's in San Francisco
- 23:53Speaker 2: and he's burning steaks and he can't deal with all
- 23:56Speaker 2: of these kids around. He has to have Aspen and
- 23:58Speaker 2: call her seventeen times to have her help and be
- 24:01Speaker 2: the parent because he can't manage any of the kids
- 24:04Speaker 2: because he doesn't want to. It's just like it kind
- 24:06Speaker 2: of pissed me off, honestly, like he should have been there.
- 24:08Speaker 1: The absolutely, especially in the beginning. Yes, the first night
- 24:12Speaker 1: that truly's in the hospital, Christine obviously stays all night,
- 24:16Speaker 1: but Cody goes home because again, they're having a party
- 24:19Speaker 1: for Leon, and he wants to show up and let
- 24:23Speaker 1: everybody know what's going on. And then I think it's
- 24:26Speaker 1: the next day when Christine calls. Is it's the next
- 24:29Speaker 1: day when Christine calls and Mary gets the I forget
- 24:32Speaker 1: there's an update. Christine's calling. She's not getting better, yes,
- 24:36Speaker 1: and so Cody's going to have to go back to
- 24:37Speaker 1: the hospital. And so then we see Robin walk up
- 24:40Speaker 1: to her purple bedroom, which means we're in Robin's house
- 24:43Speaker 1: and wake up Cody, who's taking a nap in her
- 24:46Speaker 1: house and say, hey, like, it's not good. Actually, truly's
- 24:49Speaker 1: not getting better. The medicine's not helping. You need to
- 24:52Speaker 1: go back to the hospital.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:53Speaker 1: So I don't know. I hate to judge other parents
- 24:57Speaker 1: obviously judge I am, but I'm like, so, you're a
- 25:00Speaker 1: Robin's house. Why aren't you at Christine's house. Why aren't
- 25:02Speaker 1: you with the siblings of Truly, especially Aspen and mckelthe
- 25:07Speaker 1: straighta who were probably really torn up about the fact
- 25:09Speaker 1: that their little sister that they were taking care of
- 25:11Speaker 1: because you're not a dad, Like, why wouldn't you be
- 25:14Speaker 1: with them, comforting them and being with them as you're
- 25:17Speaker 1: waiting for updates if you have to not be.
- 25:19Speaker 2: At the hospital, you know, that's a good point, Like
- 25:21Speaker 2: why are you at Robin's house? Why aren't you at
- 25:23Speaker 2: Christine's where Christine is not available because she's in the
- 25:26Speaker 2: hospital with your kid? That? Oh God, that's what pisses
- 25:29Speaker 2: me off. I am totally judging Cody for it because
- 25:31Speaker 2: I'm just like, you're being kind of absent, dude. Yeah,
- 25:34Speaker 2: your wife needs you and your little baby needs you, right,
- 25:37Speaker 2: because we all know that if King Solomon was in
- 25:42Speaker 2: the hospital with kidney failure, Cody would have been there
- 25:45Speaker 2: the entire time I think it's happened twenty four to seven,
- 25:48Speaker 2: he would have been there.
- 25:49Speaker 1: And it kind of lends itself to this idea that
- 25:51Speaker 1: you see floated around the community that like Cody never
- 25:55Speaker 1: really liked truly that much, or maybe never really bonded
- 25:58Speaker 1: with truly that much, didn't seem to really enjoy truly.
- 26:01Speaker 1: And I think it was in this last season SE's
- 26:03Speaker 1: in nineteen when Cody and Robin show up to Gwendolen's
- 26:07Speaker 1: engagement party, or or maybe it was Michelty and Tony's
- 26:12Speaker 1: house and they show up and truly sitting on the
- 26:15Speaker 1: couch and Cody doesn't even say hi to her, doesn't
- 26:19Speaker 1: give her a hug, doesn't even acknowledge her at eleven
- 26:22Speaker 1: or twelve years old or whatever she is at this time.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I don't think he ever bonded with her. I mean,
- 26:27Speaker 1: I think he cares about her, but not like cares
- 26:31Speaker 1: cares about her.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Yeah. I think it's like a superficial like, oh no,
- 26:34Speaker 2: I'm a dad, I care about my kids, but you
- 26:36Speaker 2: don't actually care because if you did, your actions would
- 26:39Speaker 2: speak for that. And obviously, poor Cody like truly has
- 26:44Speaker 2: to watch this stuff back. I mean she probably isn't,
- 26:46Speaker 2: but you know what I mean, Like if she ends
- 26:48Speaker 2: up watching this stuff back, she'll see that her dad
- 26:51Speaker 2: wasn't even there like the entire time. While she's in
- 26:54Speaker 2: the hospital like dying basically like you're in kidney failure. Yeah,
- 26:58Speaker 2: like you have to be on dialysis and luckily a
- 27:00Speaker 2: miracle like it ends up working. But after like fourteen
- 27:05Speaker 2: hours of being on dialysis is when it starts to
- 27:08Speaker 2: finally work. Because they started her on it, it wasn't
- 27:10Speaker 2: working right away. And I think that was when Christine
- 27:13Speaker 2: called somebody like Mary or whatever and Cody's home and
- 27:18Speaker 2: Mary tells him, you can't come with me and Leon
- 27:22Speaker 2: to college, like you need to stay here for Christine.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Because Cody was gonna go. He was gonna go up
- 27:28Speaker 2: to Utah with Leon and Mary and see Leon off
- 27:31Speaker 2: in their dorm and like, I can understand that you
- 27:35Speaker 2: want to be involved for your kids, like big day.
- 27:38Speaker 2: I understand that it sucks for Leon to have all
- 27:42Speaker 2: of their college stuff overshadowed by this tragic like thing
- 27:46Speaker 2: that's happening with Truly. But the fact that Cody even
- 27:50Speaker 2: had that thought of like, no, I'm gonna be in
- 27:53Speaker 2: Utah with you guys, and Mary has to tell him
- 27:57Speaker 2: stay home, dude, stay home and be there for Christine.
- 27:59Speaker 2: It's like kind of crazy to me.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Yep, agreed.
- 28:03Speaker 2: And then I think after fourteen hours of dialysis it
- 28:07Speaker 2: starts to work, and then it wasn't working. And then
- 28:11Speaker 2: Cody says that he tried to get Truly to have
- 28:15Speaker 2: like a peepee poop poop party or something, and so
- 28:17Speaker 2: he takes credit for that.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Yes, he takes credit for this. So in the eve
- 28:21Speaker 1: that she gets better and we're like, so we're ten
- 28:23Speaker 1: days in nine days and whatever it is, Cody decides
- 28:26Speaker 1: to have some sort of a rallying talk with truly,
- 28:30Speaker 1: like on a level that a three year old can understand,
- 28:33Speaker 1: and he asks her to please pee in your dip. Yeah,
- 28:36Speaker 1: and then you know, poop in your dip and let's
- 28:38Speaker 1: have a pee poop party.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:40Speaker 1: And Christine's like, yeah, I actually saw like a little
- 28:43Speaker 1: sparkle in her eye when he said that, Like she
- 28:45Speaker 1: really got what he was asking for, and that gave her,
- 28:48Speaker 1: like what Cody is trying to say that that gave
- 28:51Speaker 1: her the inspiration, Yeah, to finally pee. I'm like, Okay,
- 28:54Speaker 1: I think it was the dialysis and I think this
- 28:56Speaker 1: is the functioning kidneys and stuff like that. But it
- 28:58Speaker 1: was really glaring to me how he felt the need
- 29:03Speaker 1: to take credit somewhat.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, definitely for what.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Was happening with his child. I mean it's so narcissistic.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Oh yeah, communal narcissist. Like, oh, look at what I did.
- 29:13Speaker 1: If I hadn't said that, right, I don't know where
- 29:15Speaker 1: we'd be.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like, shut the fuck up, dude. Meanwhile, you're
- 29:18Speaker 2: going back home to go and sleep in Robin's bed
- 29:21Speaker 2: while your kid is still in the hospital getting dialysis.
- 29:24Speaker 2: But like okay, and then it's like the ninth day
- 29:27Speaker 2: or something. Dialysis is finally working, She's finally being after
- 29:31Speaker 2: Cody saved the day and saved her life or whatever.
- 29:34Speaker 2: And I think this is where Aspen goes and visits
- 29:36Speaker 2: the hospital. Is this where we start seeing her breakdown
- 29:39Speaker 2: or was that before she.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Broke down a couple before. Yeah, she broke down a
- 29:43Speaker 1: couple of times. The first time was kind of early
- 29:46Speaker 1: into it, when the family gets together to pray and
- 29:50Speaker 1: Aspen is asked to lead the prayer, which again I'm like,
- 29:53Speaker 1: people pay attention to other kids in the world, right,
- 29:56Speaker 1: like pay attention to what's going on with Aspen, And
- 29:58Speaker 1: so Aspen starts to pray, but then she she breaks
- 30:00Speaker 1: down in the middle of the prayer and I felt
- 30:02Speaker 1: really bad for her, but yes she does. I think
- 30:04Speaker 1: towards the end go and visit a little truly, and
- 30:09Speaker 1: you can kind of just see the maternal bond, at
- 30:12Speaker 1: least from Aspen's side of it, Like she needed to
- 30:15Speaker 1: put eyes on this child, she needed to give her
- 30:17Speaker 1: a hug, she needed to be there for her because
- 30:19Speaker 1: she's essentially stand in mama.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Yeah, And then I think this is where Christine calls
- 30:25Speaker 2: the family and tells them that things are getting better
- 30:28Speaker 2: and that she Truly gets to go home the next day,
- 30:32Speaker 2: and everybody's super excited, and then they bring her home
- 30:35Speaker 2: the next day. The whole family greets her. I think
- 30:38Speaker 2: Leon's up in college though.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I think. The day after Truly goes into the hospital,
- 30:44Speaker 1: Mary does take Leon up to Westminster and gets them
- 30:49Speaker 1: checked into the dorm. What do y'all.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Don I didn't moved into the dorm and Leon's really happy,
- 30:57Speaker 3: but at the same time, Leanna is very concerned about
- 31:00Speaker 3: Truly because that's Leon's.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Sister well, and Mary even says that, like, you know,
- 31:06Speaker 2: it's kind of sucks that Leon has this like really
- 31:08Speaker 2: exciting day of starting college and moving into the dorms,
- 31:12Speaker 2: and like how fun of an experience that is, but
- 31:15Speaker 2: it's coupled with this crazy thing with Truly, but Truly
- 31:19Speaker 2: ends up getting out of the hospital, she ends up
- 31:22Speaker 2: feeling a lot better. You can see the life coming
- 31:24Speaker 2: back into her face, and she's brought back home. The
- 31:29Speaker 2: whole family's excited, and then Christine says something about how
- 31:32Speaker 2: this whole experience like connected her and Cody better and Chris,
- 31:37Speaker 2: Cody and truly.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I think it was Okay. Christine says, this whole event
- 31:43Speaker 1: has caused me to really be present with my children,
- 31:46Speaker 1: Like when they're talking to me, I'm looking into their eyes. Yeah,
- 31:49Speaker 1: when they need something from me, I stop what I'm
- 31:52Speaker 1: doing and I am with them. Cody is the one
- 31:55Speaker 1: who says that's this medical event brought me closer to
- 31:59Speaker 1: truly and helped me to connect with Christine. It brought
- 32:02Speaker 1: us closer key again, so indicating and or implying that
- 32:08Speaker 1: they haven't been close mm hmm, and that there are
- 32:11Speaker 1: definitely issues in this relationship. Yeah, and it took this
- 32:15Speaker 1: terrible experience to get them to be together in even
- 32:19Speaker 1: close proximity. Yeah, like together in the hotel at the
- 32:21Speaker 1: hospital room from time to time, and that helped their relationship.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I'm like, Okay, what happens though, as soon as there's
- 32:29Speaker 1: not a medical problem. What happens as soon as like
- 32:33Speaker 1: you go back to Robin's mcmanson, where's Christine, Then she's
- 32:37Speaker 1: still taking care of all of these kids.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Well, And that's like where I'm thinking he's lying about that,
- 32:43Speaker 2: because I'm like, most of the time when health issues
- 32:46Speaker 2: and things like this happened between couples, it usually puts
- 32:49Speaker 2: a massive strain on the relationship because if I was Christine,
- 32:52Speaker 2: I probably would feel a little bit bitter about the
- 32:55Speaker 2: fact that my kid was sick on his watch while
- 32:59Speaker 2: I'm in San Francisco and he didn't pay attention to
- 33:02Speaker 2: the fact that she was fucking dehydrated, and he made
- 33:05Speaker 2: my eighteen year old and sixteen year old daughters take
- 33:08Speaker 2: care of my three year old baby that too.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Though Christine makes her children watch over her littles.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Yes, but she's also still more of a present parent
- 33:18Speaker 2: than Cody is. Like Cody's in their burning steaks on
- 33:21Speaker 2: the gril. Yeah, So it's like, I don't know, I
- 33:23Speaker 2: don't know if Cody is just talking out his ass
- 33:25Speaker 2: here to try and like save face because he doesn't
- 33:28Speaker 2: want people to pick up on the fact at this
- 33:30Speaker 2: time that him and Christine and her family are struggling.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I'm just like, I'm wondering how Christine's feeling. But Christine
- 33:37Speaker 2: does say, like you'd said, she feels more close to
- 33:40Speaker 2: all of her kids. She doesn't want to take any
- 33:42Speaker 2: of the moments with them for granted, she's trying to
- 33:44Speaker 2: be more present with them. So it did help Christine
- 33:49Speaker 2: like realize, like, oh shit, I got to stop being
- 33:51Speaker 2: like all over the place. I need to focus on
- 33:53Speaker 2: what matters, which is my kids.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Right, And I thought that was wonderful, And then they
- 33:57Speaker 1: kind of tried to dovetail that into or roll that
- 33:59Speaker 1: into the upcoming commitment celebration. Like you know, you worry
- 34:04Speaker 1: about things and there's squabbles in the family, but like
- 34:07Speaker 1: this really reminds us of what is important, and it
- 34:10Speaker 1: is our family and it is our being together, and
- 34:13Speaker 1: so that really makes the celebration that's coming up much
- 34:16Speaker 1: more important, the focus of what we are building together
- 34:20Speaker 1: as the architects of our lives. Oh God, like, shut
- 34:24Speaker 1: the fu shut up.
- 34:26Speaker 2: This whole commitment ceremony is so dwn care. It's so
- 34:29Speaker 2: cursed too. I'm just like you're talking about this and
- 34:33Speaker 2: I'm like, we all know that this commitment didn't last.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Just called a sack. These roots never get a chance
- 34:40Speaker 1: to get burrowed into the death or watered because you
- 34:43Speaker 1: guys pick up and you leave.
- 34:45Speaker 2: And you just like you always do, always, yeah, just
- 34:47Speaker 2: to run away from all their problems. It's crazy, but
- 34:50Speaker 2: we get into that preview. We talk about the commitment ceremony.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Nobody gives a shit. We talked to some contractor who
- 34:57Speaker 2: is talking about how polygamy is terrible, and I'm like.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Every single person, it's got to be every single proclaimed
- 35:03Speaker 1: to them that we are polygamists, and then hear what
- 35:05Speaker 1: their judgment is, Like, why do we care? We've been
- 35:06Speaker 1: doing this year after year after year after year.
- 35:09Speaker 2: And every single one says the same thing.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, they're nice people, but I would never live.
- 35:13Speaker 2: That polygamy is terrible.
- 35:15Speaker 1: I'm tired of it. I stop doing this.
- 35:18Speaker 2: It's so dumb.
- 35:19Speaker 1: God.
- 35:19Speaker 2: And then we have Mary going to her former employers
- 35:23Speaker 2: for some reason to tell them that she's a polygamist
- 35:27Speaker 2: because they've seen the show or something.
- 35:28Speaker 1: I'm like, why, no, No, I don't think it's because
- 35:30Speaker 1: they've seen the show. It's like she's telling them for
- 35:33Speaker 1: the first time. Is the way they're setting it up?
- 35:35Speaker 2: That?
- 35:35Speaker 1: I mean, but you would imagine that they would have
- 35:37Speaker 1: heard that Mary Brown is on some television show that
- 35:40Speaker 1: they have learned by now that it's a polygamist. Again,
- 35:43Speaker 1: it's just this creating contents, producing episodes not authentic, and
- 35:49Speaker 1: so in season.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Six, Yeah, even though.
- 35:51Speaker 1: There are definitely undercurrents that are quite interesting even in
- 35:54Speaker 1: this episode, Like we're already losing the plot. Yep, we're
- 35:57Speaker 1: already way too manufacturing these Yeah, and I'm getting bored
- 36:01Speaker 1: by it.
- 36:02Speaker 2: I'm so bored. And then the final thing in the
- 36:05Speaker 2: preview is that unfortunately Cody's brother Curtis passes away in
- 36:10Speaker 2: a tragic motorcycle accident, and so his family is having
- 36:13Speaker 2: to deal with that, and I think they go up
- 36:15Speaker 2: to Wyoming and everything for it. So next episode is
- 36:18Speaker 2: going to be really sad.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Yeah, they're having a very eventful summer.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Yes, big yikes.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Yeah, lots going on with these Browns. You've been through
- 36:26Speaker 1: a lot. You gotta give it to them. They do
- 36:28Speaker 1: a lot, and they're still standing, at least for now.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Yeah for now.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Well, is there anything else that we should say to
- 36:34Speaker 1: these beautiful raccoons before we get up on Ada Here Beach?

- 36:51Speaker 1: We will be back later this week with our catch
- 36:54Speaker 1: up recap of Welcome to PLAITHFORLL. We're gonna be covering
- 36:58Speaker 1: last week's episode and this week episode, which I think
- 37:01Speaker 1: is airing tonight. Yeah, girls, so I'm very excited to
- 37:03Speaker 1: get to it. I'm like thinking, it's gonna be a
- 37:05Speaker 1: good season.
- 37:06Speaker 2: It's gonna be Liz.
- 37:07Speaker 1: So we're gonna come back and talk about that, I
- 37:09Speaker 1: think on Friday. Make sure you come back for that.
- 37:11Speaker 1: But until then, please do not forget that we have
