- 0:02Multiple nerd guys. I think the intro music is too
- 0:11loud it. Might be a little bit too loud.
- 0:14I'll fix that because it does sound a little bit different to
- 0:18how we're talking to each other right now.
- 0:20So. Yeah, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 0:22There doesn't seem to be a volume control for that
- 0:24specifically in Stream yard so. Don't fix it for this week's
- 0:27episode because that's how we've opened the show, so it'd be
- 0:29weird. I can't fix it for this week's
- 0:31episode. This week's episode is currently
- 0:33recording as we speak. It's too.
- 0:35Late how it works. Yeah, the ship has sailed on
- 0:38this week's episode. How you doing?
- 0:39Yeah, I'm doing pretty well. I was went so my friend Aaron.
- 0:42Today, the parents watch football.
- 0:46Cool. The bunnies won.
- 0:48Oh, you'll love that, don't you? Yep.
- 0:51Me worked out that I still don't understand AFL.
- 0:54You watched AFL? It was on the screen as well and
- 0:57we just kept looking at it going, we have no idea what's
- 0:59happening. OK.
- 1:01All right. How do you feel like somebody
- 1:02called I? Understand gridiron more than I
- 1:05do AFL. No gridiron.
- 1:06No one calls it gridiron. Does anybody?
- 1:08I've never even heard that word in a long time.
- 1:11Gridiron. Gridiron football derived from
- 1:16rugby, primarily played in the United States and Canada.
- 1:19I guess it came. From rugby.
- 1:21Apparently I'm learning myself, yeah.
- 1:23Yeah. Anyway, I don't watch many
- 1:29American sports. See the only problem I've got
- 1:32with like the the American football is it takes too long to
- 1:35play a 60 minute game. Sure, I've heard this.
- 1:38I've heard. This the hockey, I think is a
- 1:40lot faster. I don't mind the hockey.
- 1:42Oh, I have. I've been to a hockey game.
- 1:44Actually, I've been to a hockey game.
- 1:45I've been to a baseball game. A baseball game is incredibly
- 1:47boring. Yes, I think they do a lot of
- 1:49stuff outside to try and keep people interested.
- 1:52They they would need to, yeah. Because.
- 1:55Yeah. And this was a game.
- 1:56This was a game that people were like, oh, that would have been a
- 1:58good one. It was the Yankees, Red Sox,
- 1:59which is apparently a big rivalry.
- 2:01And I was like, oh. Yeah, we we sat there for.
- 2:04Nobody was paying attention to the game.
- 2:06Everyone was just drinking and fucking around.
- 2:08And then in the last 10 minutes, everyone kind of got excited
- 2:11because it was like, oh, they've got to, you know, they need more
- 2:14runs. Yeah.
- 2:16Anyway, I don't know because. It goes for like 9 innings and
- 2:20they can take a very long time to play just one inning
- 2:23depending on how many fouls and balls and strikes there are.
- 2:27Yeah, well, look, my brother was visiting and he was with us and
- 2:31we had a nice time, but the the the baseball game was of no
- 2:34interest. Yeah, that that that was
- 2:36irrelevant to the nice time. For me, anyway, it's not.
- 2:39It's not for me, I don't think. I know people get into a lot of
- 2:42the stats of it all. Yeah.
- 2:44Oh yeah. Following the stats and but.
- 2:47And look, I've got friends here who follow all sorts of sports.
- 2:49Like actually we've got Jimmy who listens, may know from
- 2:53various odds and ends that he does with us.
- 2:56We would he's into sports, Yeah. In a broader way, I think he
- 3:03just likes sports kind of thing. Baseball I think would be hard
- 3:07to follow because, I don't know, play like 156 games a year or
- 3:11something ridiculous like Wow. All right.
- 3:14Like they'll when they travel, like they'll play the same team
- 3:17like 3 three times and they'll travel to the next place and
- 3:20play 3 * 4 times. So it's like it's, there's a lot
- 3:23of games in baseball. It's not just you.
- 3:26Play it once and move on. Yeah, right.
- 3:28Just beat him. Just get over it.
- 3:31Move on. No, no, you're going to win one,
- 3:33then you'll play him again and you'll have you right?
- 3:35Oh, sorry. Soccer.
- 3:38No, it's soccer. I don't know it's soccer.
- 3:40I don't know it's soccer. No, there's just many different
- 3:42leagues in soccer. That's what I'm interested in is
- 3:45not on for a for a period because you know, there's things
- 3:49going on in that part of the world.
- 3:50The Formula One cancelled the 2 Middle East races that were
- 3:53supposed to be happening now. So there's literally a month and
- 3:56a half between the last race and the next race.
- 4:00And so it's just weird that. That there's nothing happening.
- 4:03I said yeah, literally. I looked at the calendar.
- 4:05I was like, fucking hell, it's still like a month until the
- 4:07next race. I just thought each Major League
- 4:12Baseball team plays 100 and 262 regular seasons per season.
- 4:19Regular season games per season. OK, let's go.
- 4:22You missed a word there. I was like.
- 4:23Missed a word? This is very important.
- 4:26This is a very important word. So.
- 4:29So that totals 2430 games across all 30 MLB teams.
- 4:35OK. And that's before you get to the
- 4:39playoffs. It's a lot of games.
- 4:43I could not keep up with that. No, it's the job.
- 4:45I mean, how many days of work do I do a year?
- 4:46You know if I can get over it mate.
- 4:48Yeah, I do a lot more than that. Let's talk about different kind
- 4:53of games. Yes.
- 4:55Xbox Games. Apparently the new boss agrees
- 4:58with me. Game Pass is too expensive.
- 5:01Expensive, yes. She's cancelled hers as well.
- 5:05I think she's going to make some different, some differences to
- 5:08Xbox. I might.
- 5:09Come back. I mean, I haven't turned my Xbox
- 5:13on in a long time. Oh, I bought I bought Conan
- 5:17Exiles on PC. See this.
- 5:21Yeah. Did we talk about this last
- 5:24week? Yeah, yeah.
- 5:26Yeah. Yeah, you purchased that you
- 5:28could start playing again, but still no Dick.
- 5:29No. No no, I bought it on PC.
- 5:32Oh, you got Dick now? Yeah.
- 5:34Yeah, I got, I got whatever I want, man.
- 5:36I got mods. So I got to say the mods make it
- 5:42cool because you can just like, you know when you do character
- 5:45creation, right? And then you go, oh, that looks
- 5:47good. And then you start the game and
- 5:48as soon as you get the first cutscene you're like.
- 5:50Yes, because the face like that, Yeah, the face never comes out
- 5:53quite right. Well, so with the the Conan mods
- 5:56you can first you have more options for customization and
- 6:01not just the Dick other other stuff too, but also you can.
- 6:07What's that? Tits.
- 6:09Yeah, you could cyberpunk it up and mix and match whatever you
- 6:11want. You couldn't do that in the base
- 6:12game, but you can just edit your appearance when you when you
- 6:18want to, which is I feel like games should always give you
- 6:21like 5 minutes in the option of like.
- 6:23Are you sure? You sure that you've?
- 6:25Created. It's what you want.
- 6:27Like you see the cutscene that you look like now?
- 6:29Is that what I feel like? Mass Effect was the worst
- 6:32offender on that Mass Effect. Every Mass Effect game you make
- 6:35a character and then you start playing and then you go oh fuck
- 6:38you look like an idiot. Yeah, yeah, the second you see
- 6:41the face from just side on and. Yeah, or like.
- 6:44Moving and. It's like, oh God.
- 6:46That's not what I was aiming for.
- 6:48Yeah. Anyway, I'm happy she's come out
- 6:52and said said this. I'm happy she's also making a
- 6:54difference with the achievements.
- 6:56I don't, I don't have the new achievements yet.
- 6:59I should get them soon. I mean, it's a.
- 7:01Huge change on the achievement front.
- 7:02They're just. It's a.
- 7:03It's a start. Yeah.
- 7:07Like. Yeah, so they've got the Game
- 7:11Pass tears. I, I've got so many games on my
- 7:15Xbox. I feel like the one that's the
- 7:17middle 1:00 which gives you like not the new releases wouldn't
- 7:20appeal to me because it's kind of all I would want it for.
- 7:24If it's an older game I've probably bought it on sale or
- 7:27something. They're, they're talking about,
- 7:29I've heard rumors that they're actually looking at removing the
- 7:33Call of Duties of being a day one Game Pass release.
- 7:36OK, I don't care about those games.
- 7:37I know you don't care about them, but that's just a rumor of
- 7:39her. OK, are you are you think that
- 7:43would scare people off? People like those games.
- 7:47I think people like those games and I think that might also, if
- 7:50they were to remove them, a price drop would have to happen
- 7:54because a lot of. People sure.
- 7:56So it might be just. To clarify, I don't dislike
- 7:58those games, I just don't care about them either.
- 8:02Yeah, yeah, right. They're fine.
- 8:03I'm like have no issue with them.
- 8:04They just, they don't excite. Me, I'll log in every now and
- 8:07again. The last one, the last Black Ops
- 8:10was weird and I gave last one because.
- 8:14It's pronounced COD blobs. You had to play with people.
- 8:18Oh, you hate that? And then if you could play
- 8:21single player, but there's no pause and if you die you go back
- 8:25to the start of the level, there's no checkpoints at all.
- 8:30I mean. It's designed to be played
- 8:32Co-op. Right.
- 8:34Oh, so somebody can revive you or whatever.
- 8:36Yeah, yeah, like the division or?
- 8:40I don't like that. I just want to play a game.
- 8:44Well, wait till Dune comes out. We'll play Dune.
- 8:47Yep, still playing it. Still.
- 8:50I wonder if my Yeah play it. The other Yeah, play it every
- 8:54couple of days. Every couple of days keep your
- 8:56base from this. 3 bases mate 3. Bases.
- 9:00O3 bases. There, make sure they're all
- 9:01powered up. Yeah, I've got one.
- 9:03I I put I've got my main base which is up on a Cliff.
- 9:06Yep. And I've got 2 bases in areas
- 9:09where there are things that I need.
- 9:11Needs so you can just yeah so I would just stop off drop stuff
- 9:15off here and go out and mine. And there's, yeah.
- 9:17And there's one base in particular that's in a spot.
- 9:20There's an area of the map that's irradiated.
- 9:23You need a radiation suit to, to, to be in the area there.
- 9:26And then even with the radiation suit, you've got to leave after
- 9:29a period of time, otherwise you you will die.
- 9:32But there's a little spot that is down there where there's just
- 9:37no, it's a little clear spot and there's like a little thing of
- 9:40rock that you could. Put and you just managed to find
- 9:43it. And I've got a base on there and
- 9:44I don't know how I got lucky because there's me and then on
- 9:46the other side of the rock there's another guy or another
- 9:48person. And it's being nice.
- 9:50You're just sharing the rock. Yeah, and I'm like, fuck, I got
- 9:53lucky because now that they've they've like sized down the
- 9:56number of servers and everything.
- 9:58Yeah, there are so many more people on our server.
- 10:01Like there's fucking bases everywhere.
- 10:04But that's what happens. Not down in that spot because me
- 10:06and whoever that other guy is. You own it.
- 10:08We've got the rock. That's what happens like with
- 10:11all of these games, like they start off with tons of servers
- 10:13because there's so many players and players start to drop off
- 10:16and then people get transferred over to yours.
- 10:18And that's what killed The Old Republic for me.
- 10:22Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Because.
- 10:24When they shut down my server, they move me to another server.
- 10:27Someone had my name so they just change the name I.
- 10:29Remember that? Yeah.
- 10:30And so like, no, I, I like that name.
- 10:33Why did you and I just never went back and played it?
- 10:36Every day it doesn't even come up.
- 10:38I was big Starklighter. I managed to get that name.
- 10:42Oh, oh, that was definitely going to be taken on yes
- 10:45servers, yeah. And why did I have to lose it?
- 10:49Yeah, because I had an Australian server and I was
- 10:51shutting them all down. Yeah, yes.
- 10:56There's also a lot of abandoned bases on my server too.
- 10:59I think people come on and they play a bit and then they leave,
- 11:02but then the bases disintegrate. But they look weird when they're
- 11:04disintegrating and it's like. And.
- 11:07There's all people leave this stuff in there and I'm like,
- 11:10just let me have it If they don't want it, let me have it
- 11:12like. You're not allowed to walk in
- 11:14and steal their stuff. No.
- 11:15Which makes sense like. Well, when it's deteriorating,
- 11:19why not? It's deteriorating, but they
- 11:21haven't officially. If they go in and they
- 11:23officially abandon it, like if they open up the you have like a
- 11:26console for your base. If you go in there and you say
- 11:28abandoned base, all the stuff will stay, but it's no longer
- 11:32yours, OK. If they do that, which I that's
- 11:36happened to me once I've, I've come across a base and I've
- 11:38walked in and it's been like, I could open the containers and
- 11:41take stuff and I was like, holy shit.
- 11:43Somebody just was like, I'm not going to play anymore.
- 11:45Abandoned base and then left. If they do that, yeah.
- 11:49If they don't do that, then you know they might come back and
- 11:51fix it. OK.
- 11:53But is there a stage where we'll get to a point where not anyone
- 11:56can? It's got until.
- 11:57Stage. I don't think so.
- 11:58You just go in. No, you're just just destroying.
- 12:02Disappear. Slowly wears away and then
- 12:03eventually I guess. Wormy to.
- 12:08Well, the worms can't come on the rocks yet.
- 12:11They're evolving, but I don't know, maybe it just leaves the
- 12:15the console, the computer there, I'm not sure.
- 12:19Well, hopefully we'll we'll it finally does come to Xbox.
- 12:22I'll be able to join your server that's.
- 12:24What I'm wondering, too, is that can.
- 12:27Yeah, they shared. Well, they don't.
- 12:29Will they be shared? They don't exist.
- 12:30Yeah. Console version, because I don't
- 12:32think Conan was like that. Could you share on Conan?
- 12:36Oh, do you know what else I found out on Conan?
- 12:38I can run a server on my, my my Nas downstairs, my, my computer
- 12:43downstairs. In theory, if we wanted to have
- 12:45a Conan server again. But then I'm like, do we want to
- 12:47do that? I don't know.
- 12:49I don't. Know so I need to go through the
- 12:50effort of setting that up. Like would you wipe the game
- 12:53every week? I.
- 12:55Would try to avoid that, yeah. That, that, yeah, that really
- 13:01just ruined the game for us to wipe some game wipe is actually
- 13:04good. Like, it's not a public server.
- 13:07The wipe is actually a fun thing and everyone joins in and runs
- 13:10around and builds their thing. But when we're paying for just
- 13:13the three of us to have our own server and we can't play very
- 13:17often, we don't want to wipe. Yeah, And it was unclear to me,
- 13:21are they wiping it because there are problems?
- 13:23Every time they do an update, every time they do anything,
- 13:24they'd be like, Oh yeah, server got wiped and it's like, hang
- 13:27on, what? Yeah, it was very confusing.
- 13:31Yes. And I, I, I think it was more on
- 13:34their side than the game side. I really do.
- 13:36I'd say yeah, I think you could just probably just leave it
- 13:38running and I'd see why you couldn't be able, you wouldn't
- 13:40be able to do. That, yeah.
- 13:42So anyway, how you pay for ultimate still right?
- 13:44Game Pass Ultimate. Yes so I've got PC and Xbox.
- 13:48I actually just finished playing Grand Theft Auto Japan version.
- 13:53Wait, what? So there's a Grand Theft Auto 5
- 13:56Japanese version that was leaving Game Pass soon.
- 13:59Oh, so I moved my Xbox over to Japan.
- 14:02No, no, no, just the GTA5. And then I, yeah, moved my Xbox
- 14:08and said I'm in Japan now, installed the game.
- 14:10And I just played through the story of that.
- 14:13You played through the whole of GTA5?
- 14:15Yeah, Again. Yeah.
- 14:18I finished it quite a lot of times I think anyway, but
- 14:23without I didn't do a lot of spy quests.
- 14:26Yeah. So I only got like 300 gamer
- 14:29score for it. I just don't.
- 14:31Those games just don't interest me.
- 14:33I don't know why everybody loves them.
- 14:35There's an article in here actually about GTA.
- 14:37Where is it? Yeah.
- 14:39Oh yeah. Apparently from GTA Online they
- 14:43make over $1,000,000 a day. Rockstar.
- 14:46Which is actually making me dread GTA6A little bit.
- 14:49That's. Fucking crazy.
- 14:51This is from. OK, so there's actually another
- 14:52article related that Rockstar got hacked, yes, and.
- 14:57And Rockstar just went, we're not paying yet.
- 15:00So they leaked the data and they they made more money out of it.
- 15:04Yeah, yeah. So yeah, a limited amount of non
- 15:09material company information was accessed in connection with a
- 15:11third party data breach. Oh, OK.
- 15:14So Rockstar weren't hacked, someone else got hacked.
- 15:18So like their CRM system or something got hacked.
- 15:20That's right. They, yeah, they released the
- 15:22information and it actually turned out good for Rockstar
- 15:25because how much money they're sort of making.
- 15:28And then people just brought more stocks and increased their
- 15:32stock value. Right.
- 15:34Which just before the release of GTA 6.
- 15:37Is their stocks going to do very well for the rest of this year
- 15:41man? Over $1,000,000 a day.
- 15:45Who's buying these? The money in the game.
- 15:50$498,000,000 a year fucking. Hell, and that's why I'm not
- 15:57looking forward to GTA6A little bit because I know that GTA 6 is
- 16:02going to come out. They're going to focus on that
- 16:03at the start and then they're going to release the online
- 16:06version later. I think they're going to do the
- 16:08same thing that they did and then they're just going to not
- 16:11give me any single player DLC. It's going to be they'll go play
- 16:16online with people who just like to blow you up for no reason.
- 16:19Yeah, yeah. And for some.
- 16:23Reason. No reason.
- 16:23Enjoy that because it's fun mate.
- 16:25It's not. I just want to go on to the
- 16:29online. There are missions I can play by
- 16:31myself, Just let me do them. I don't need to be blown up for
- 16:35no reason when I'm just trying to do this little mission that
- 16:37hurts no one. I don't shoot anyone.
- 16:41I've killed no one online. You'd be bad at Rust.
- 16:45Yes, I'd just be. I want to be friendly.
- 16:49It's like I've been playing a little bit of Arc Raiders.
- 16:52Arc Raiders, I've heard of that. It's an extraction shooter.
- 16:56And I'm not interested. Yeah, go on.
- 16:58I'm, I'm actually sort of enjoying it a little bit and but
- 17:02it's fun when you're on a server with people who are nice.
- 17:05There's robots. There's robots, yes.
- 17:08OK, it looks cool. Yeah, but there are, there are
- 17:11sometimes where you've been a server where people who are just
- 17:13camping the extraction point, so when you go in to try and
- 17:16extract, they'll then just snipe you and kill you and it's all
- 17:20like, well, that's just no fun, right?
- 17:24I don't mind. But there are a lot of people
- 17:26who are nice and they there's a matchmaking in there that if
- 17:29you're not killing people, that will try and match you together.
- 17:32Oh, all right. So.
- 17:35You should be friends together and suck together.
- 17:37Well, it's not sucking. It's we don't, we don't want to
- 17:41kill other players. We just want to go in there.
- 17:44I thought you meant like if you not doing very well, they're
- 17:46like well here's a buddy. No, it's yeah.
- 17:49It's just that they'll put the people who like to kill each
- 17:51other in the same server and the people who like to work together
- 17:54in the same server. Like it's just a nice.
- 17:55Seat all right? No, that that makes sense.
- 17:58So I keep bumping my table and everything wobbles.
- 18:01Sorry everybody, if I'm giving you the wobbles.
- 18:04Wobbles if you're watching this. OK, yeah, no, I've just been
- 18:10playing Dune, been playing some Conan, just single player with
- 18:13my mods and what else I've been doing game wise.
- 18:18That's probably about it. Yeah, I've been what?
- 18:23You haven't really been playing much.
- 18:24I've been playing a lot of crappy games to get the
- 18:26achievements like like GTA5 the Japan Japanese version, not
- 18:32GTA5. Is it in Japanese?
- 18:35No, it's in English still. OK, so it's literally the same
- 18:38game. That's the same game.
- 18:40There's some missions, some missions that don't exist.
- 18:44And then there's a few other changes, like there's a mission
- 18:47that if one of the missions in the like normal version, you get
- 18:51drunk by your son and your son steals your car and drops you
- 18:55off, that's taken out of the game.
- 18:57The strippers don't show their breasts.
- 18:59And there's a few other like just, yeah, some missions, just.
- 19:03What do they show you then? They're in a bikini.
- 19:07That's not a stripper, that's just a, that's just a a girl
- 19:10that's. A girl at the beach, Yeah.
- 19:12Exactly. Yeah, not paying for that.
- 19:15No. Well I did.
- 19:17I did pay for it just to see if they did take their tops off
- 19:20when 320. And they didn't.
- 19:21They didn't. Oh wow.
- 19:24Then I left. Remind me not to go to a strip
- 19:25club in Japan. Yeah, I don't even know if they
- 19:28even have them in Japan. No idea.
- 19:32I've been there, but I didn't look out.
- 19:34Strippers, yeah. Well, oh, I've been watching
- 19:43something actually, just quickly.
- 19:44I mean, this is a old show, oldish, but I've been watching
- 19:48the rehearsal. The Nathan.
- 19:49Fielders. It's very funny, I.
- 19:53I still don't know. Was the ending?
- 19:55Was he just coming? I haven't seen it.
- 19:56I haven't seen all of it. Don't tell me, don't tell me.
- 19:58Sorry. I've only seen three episodes.
- 20:02OK, yeah, You'll need to let me know at the end though.
- 20:05You'll know what I mean all. Right.
- 20:09It's very funny. I like Nathan Fielder a lot.
- 20:11This is a this show is his definitely the strangest thing
- 20:15he's done. Yes.
- 20:16Like I just don't know where it's going but I'm interested to
- 20:21find out and it's. Very hard to just.
- 20:23He plays so straight all the time.
- 20:27Yeah. And then always Even so, Nathan
- 20:30for You is very funny and has such many great little moments
- 20:34where you can tell you can. He gets like a look at his face
- 20:36when he can tell you can tell He's like, this is funny.
- 20:40Like let's pursue this. And I love those little moments.
- 20:43Like there's one in Nathan for You with the the guy who owns
- 20:46the gas station. But yeah, it just says someone
- 20:49says something weird and then he's like, I'm going to push on
- 20:51that. I like like the one last night
- 20:53was the guy who was it's the guy.
- 20:56So if you don't know the premise of the show, this this is slash
- 20:59watches. He in order to prepare these
- 21:02people for something that they have to do, he sets up a
- 21:06rehearsal. And the idea is so like the
- 21:08first episode is this guy who has a trivia team, and he needs
- 21:11to tell them something and he's scared to tell them.
- 21:14Like he, he came out and like he, yeah, he doesn't actually
- 21:17have a degree. He.
- 21:18Doesn't have a degree. It's, it's so silly.
- 21:20But like he, he finds these people on Craigslist and it's
- 21:23like, this is, this is real. Like people apparently,
- 21:26allegedly, I guess I believe it so far.
- 21:30But he sets up like a fake bar with actors and actors follow
- 21:34his friends, this guy's friends around secretly and then learn
- 21:37how to behave like them. And then they basically they
- 21:39rehearse the whole thing over and over and over.
- 21:41So, and the idea is, he says, by the end of the rehearsal, you'll
- 21:44know exactly what to do. And you'll know what no matter
- 21:47what happens. Whatever happens, you're.
- 21:50Prepared for every eventuality. It's very.
- 21:52It's very funny, yeah, but it's very strange.
- 22:00Yes, but he he reminds me of like Kunk, like how that she can
- 22:06just keep but then but then when?
- 22:08You. Yeah.
- 22:08He'll run with something very strange.
- 22:10Oh yes, The guy who? The guy who once his
- 22:12grandfather's inherited his brother won't give it to him.
- 22:15And then he's like, they're practicing him trying to
- 22:17convince his brother to give him the money.
- 22:19And then but his brother won't do it because he thinks his
- 22:22girlfriend is a gold digger. And then he starts, they're
- 22:25doing the rehearsal and at one point he starts bringing up that
- 22:27she's Jewish. And then he comes there and he's
- 22:30like, sorry, we didn't talk about this beforehand.
- 22:33Are you, you going to bring this up?
- 22:36You're going to, you're one of your arguments to your brother
- 22:38is going to be that your girlfriend's Jewish.
- 22:41She doesn't need the money. And.
- 22:44And he's like, yeah, yeah. And he's like, OK, I mean, I
- 22:46don't want to discourage you from doing something you would
- 22:49naturally talk about with your brother, but this is a very odd
- 22:51line of of. Argument.
- 22:56Maybe I need to watch it again, it's been a while.
- 22:58But then also you don't know how true it actually is because I
- 23:01know I've seen like some bloopers of conch and when they
- 23:04start laughing and you. Actually, I've resisted Googling
- 23:08whether the rehearsal is real because I was wondering if it
- 23:11would ruin something later because I've avoided looking
- 23:16anything. Yeah, keep watching and let me
- 23:19know. Yeah, yeah.
- 23:22Yeah. I need.
- 23:23To know, I need to know what you think of the ending.
- 23:26That and I also watched a bit of that.
- 23:28I think you should leave, which is also very strange.
- 23:32It's like a sketch show with that guy.
- 23:34You would you, you would have seen this guy.
- 23:38I think you should leave with Tim Robinson.
- 23:42Tim Robinson. Yep.
- 23:43Yeah, it's his sketch show, and it's very strange but very
- 23:48funny. No, I haven't actually seen
- 23:50this. I might have to look into it
- 23:52because I I do know him. Yeah.
- 23:55And he is. It's funny.
- 23:56It's funny. It's it's it's really weird, but
- 24:00funny. Yeah, yeah.
- 24:02I can't even describe it. It's like awkward, awkward
- 24:06humor. Yeah, very awkward.
- 24:07Which I don't really like awkward humor that much.
- 24:12I don't normally, but I do find this very funny.
- 24:14It's almost like the, the, there's one sketch in particular
- 24:18I ended up really liking. But I, I, I, it started and I
- 24:21was like, OK, And then when the, the bit that was the funny bit
- 24:24started happening, I was like, this is not funny.
- 24:26But it just goes on and on and on and on for long enough that
- 24:30I'm like, I became funny. OK, yeah, right.
- 24:33I will give it a try then because like I hate some of
- 24:37those shows like prank shows and stuff where the whole goal is to
- 24:42make people feel awkward. I can't watch that prank shows.
- 24:45They give me massive anxiety. I can't do it.
- 24:47Like it's sort of like, no, you're just using these people
- 24:50for games and they get nothing out of it.
- 24:54And there's a few shows that have got mainstream for it.
- 24:57There any kind of there's pranks that I don't mind depend.
- 25:01It depends. Like that impractical joke is I
- 25:03hate that show. Yes.
- 25:04I can't watch what I'm thinking of.
- 25:06Yes. But things like there's I
- 25:10watched this clip the other day. I've seen it before is to be,
- 25:13you know, there's, there's it's a similar kind of thing where
- 25:16the guy's interviewing Tom Holland, you know, Spider Man.
- 25:19And it's the same kind of thing where he's got two other guys on
- 25:22headphones telling him what to do and he's interviewing Tom
- 25:24Holland. And the whole thing is he's
- 25:25saying like, why are you pretending to be British for
- 25:29this interview? And Tom Holland's like, what?
- 25:32And he's like, why are you pretending to be British for
- 25:34this interview? I've just seen the movie and
- 25:36you're American. And then he's like, well, I'm,
- 25:39I'm an actor and he's like, how is that possible?
- 25:41And it's like this whole that was funny because it's harmless.
- 25:45Yeah. And it's like a controlled
- 25:47environment. It's just a different vibe to
- 25:49like random people on the street where you're.
- 25:51Like, and the problem I have is with those prank shows is
- 25:55sometimes like there are people who can sort of do it well and
- 25:57do it like that, But then people see that and then they take it
- 26:00into and there's a whole bunch of thing YouTube thing where
- 26:04people run into the the back of like a McDonald's or something
- 26:08and claim that someone's chasing them.
- 26:10And so they get their friends are running after them and go
- 26:13like what my girlfriend. And so like these people are
- 26:16just doing their job. Like that's just annoying them.
- 26:21And you you're doing this for 12 year olds who think it's funny.
- 26:24We're too old and we've just lost a bunch of potential
- 26:27subscribers because. They're I don't think we need 12
- 26:29year olds these. Old bastards.
- 26:31I don't like what we like. No.
- 26:35If you like that, if you like that type of stuff, I don't want
- 26:37you to watch. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 26:39No, no, no. Watch anyway, it's fine.
- 26:41I don't care what Luke says. Did you watch the Street Fighter
- 26:47trailer? I did watch the Street Fighter
- 26:49trailer, have you watched it? Yeah, I watched it.
- 26:53Yeah. What do you think?
- 26:55I think they've lost the plot. I just.
- 26:58Don't know, man. I see the comments and
- 27:00everyone's like, yeah, it's just like the game.
- 27:02I'm like, it is, but is that a good thing?
- 27:05Thing I. Don't know.
- 27:07I mean, I don't know what I expected.
- 27:09Mortal Kombat 2 is coming out soon and I'm actually looking
- 27:11forward to that. Like.
- 27:13I haven't seen the first one, the.
- 27:14First one's actually quite good. Yeah, right.
- 27:17And it didn't go on the gimmicky, like it's actually
- 27:19more of a serious. There's still jokes and stuff
- 27:21but it's more of a serious. Yeah, that wouldn't work as well
- 27:24with Street Fighter, I don't think.
- 27:26No. And it's ridiculous.
- 27:28It's. Ridiculous.
- 27:29But then I don't know what this trailer was like.
- 27:32It just seems I Yeah, no Van Damme is all I'm saying.
- 27:39Wait, so you're you're saying that the original Street Fighter
- 27:44movie? I love that movie.
- 27:47OK, OK, OK. OK.
- 27:48All right. And you're worried that this
- 27:49deviates too much from the. Yes.
- 27:51OK. Interesting.
- 27:52So Kylie Minogue. Yeah, I'm not sure anybody else
- 27:55feels that way. That's that's.
- 27:56Yeah, just I don't understand what this movie is because like
- 28:02I know with. Seems like an adaptation of the
- 28:06video game that as far as I know did not have a very well thought
- 28:09out. Story.
- 28:10I know. Yeah, I know.
- 28:12Mortal climate has a lot of law behind it, yeah.
- 28:15Yeah, yeah. Street Fighter is just, we're
- 28:17just going to fight. We made a bunch of weird
- 28:19characters and then you make them fight.
- 28:21There's no, I mean, unless I'm mistaken, there's no.
- 28:23Although there were a lot of Street Fighter games since the
- 28:27one I'm talking about. I'm talking specifically about
- 28:29Street Fighter 2. Yes, that's the other one I
- 28:31really know. Yeah, yeah.
- 28:33I don't. I've not played.
- 28:35I've played four a little bit and I don't know that I couldn't
- 28:39tell you the plot, so if maybe maybe this.
- 28:42Maybe it is story behind it, but yeah.
- 28:44Because there's characters in this that went in Street Fight
- 28:46too. Like I know I'm familiar with
- 28:47some of these characters like Cammy.
- 28:49Right. Is a Street Fighter character
- 28:51that I don't know anything about.
- 28:53I've never played a game that she's in.
- 28:55I just know people cosplay as this Street Fighter character
- 28:57called Cami. Cami, I know that chumlee's in
- 29:00it and they make a joke about her thighs.
- 29:02Yes, see that? I get that.
- 29:04I get that. Like that.
- 29:05Like that joke I get? Yeah, blank is.
- 29:08In there geils in it as well. Isn't it Canon?
- 29:11And Oh yeah, blew my mind. Ryu's name is Ryu, apparently.
- 29:16Yeah, that's wrong. My whole life.
- 29:18My entire life. That's an Australian thing, I
- 29:21bet. It has to be, because no one
- 29:27ever called each other out. It's always been right.
- 29:29Right, that's what we've been calling him that since we were
- 29:30kids. Yep, Yep.
- 29:34God, we were wrong. Yep, but I don't know it looks
- 29:39like. The story's going to focus on
- 29:40Ken. I don't think it's a very
- 29:42heavily story based film. Honestly, no, But I do think
- 29:46it's going to. From what I saw, it's going to
- 29:47follow Ken, which I think is strange because Ken's just a
- 29:52copyright. Right, Yeah, they copy pasted
- 29:55him and changed his hair and his Yeah, yeah, but maybe that
- 29:59changed in the Lady Games. I don't know.
- 30:01Maybe Lady Games have a very elaborate back story that we're
- 30:04just maybe they. Do.
- 30:05And maybe this is very, very true to that.
- 30:08Yep, I won't know. I'll go and see it and I'll give
- 30:11you a review when it comes out all.
- 30:13Right. I may or may not watch it, I
- 30:16can't guarantee. I'll be honest, I'll probably
- 30:19come back and say you can skip it 'cause after I throw the
- 30:22trailer, I'm not excited to go and see it.
- 30:25Yeah. But I will go.
- 30:27All right, in other movie news, did we mention this last week
- 30:33there's a new Avatar the Last Airbender?
- 30:36Like a continuation of the cartoon series.
- 30:40You know the old. Nickelodeon cartoon series,
- 30:42right? There's a a film Avatar ANG the
- 30:47Last Airbender, which as I understand it it's a sequel to
- 30:51that series and it's supposed to be coming out in like 6 months
- 30:56in October and someone on X said Nickelodeon accidentally emailed
- 31:03me the entire movie. Oh God.
- 31:07And if they don't, yeah. And then they, I think they said
- 31:11that a couple weeks ago. If they don't release a trailer,
- 31:14I'm just going to put it out there and they put clips up.
- 31:16And anyway, they've released the movie, like this person has
- 31:21leaked the movie, the movie's out online.
- 31:23Now you can find it, which is. This seems like a very strange.
- 31:27Odd thing to do because this seems like this person can get
- 31:30sued for a lot. It's really weird, it was aiming
- 31:34for a theatre release and now apparently they've accidentally
- 31:38just sent it to someone who's. Released it and because he was
- 31:41because he was upset that they didn't release a trailer, he
- 31:44just released the entire movie. Right.
- 31:48And then the other thing, too, is that he put clips up and
- 31:51people were like, oh, this isn't real.
- 31:53But then he got a copyright strike and they were like, oh,
- 31:56it is real. Real.
- 31:58And it's like, you fucked up there.
- 32:00He could have just not said anything.
- 32:02Yeah. So yeah, I don't know what to
- 32:05make of this. It's really strange.
- 32:07I don't know if we'll ever find out how that happened.
- 32:09Well, but I think they will be able to find out who they
- 32:12accidentally emailed it to though.
- 32:14You would think so. This person has an X account.
- 32:16Yeah, I'm still dissing. Hang on, let me click on this
- 32:20today. Any new updates?
- 32:21I can't see anything because I'm not signed in.
- 32:24Let me have a look. I'm still dissing.
- 32:26Didn't do anything wrong. All accounts I used to follow on
- 32:30here were way back are talking about this.
- 32:32I'm really going. I'm really getting up in
- 32:36Guantanamo. I'm logging in.
- 32:46Man, I just got an extradition. Oh my God, Spirit Max is weird
- 32:50now. Yeah.
- 32:54Yeah, I just don't know how the fuck this person got it.
- 33:01I'm not affiliated with anyone who claims to be selling the
- 33:03movie. Yep.
- 33:05Yeah, I don't know, man. It's really weird.
- 33:07And this person didn't have a lot of followers or anything.
- 33:11But yeah, you look at some of these things and he's just
- 33:14playing into like, woke up to a guy in an FBI shirt at my door,
- 33:17a female body investigator, like he's making jokes about.
- 33:22So I don't even know if it's true.
- 33:24I mean, the movie is available. That's that's.
- 33:27Important whether it's this person.
- 33:29Like, see, this article says clips of the new Avatar movie
- 33:33leak, but the the the movie got leaked, got released an updated
- 33:37article about this and the Last Airbender leaked.
- 33:48Yeah. I mean, it's it's just out.
- 33:50Yeah. Like, yeah, it's so strange.
- 33:54Yeah. So yeah, I was just wondering if
- 33:55this is an actual person who really accidentally got it or
- 33:59just saw that or stuff leaking in them, which just.
- 34:01Hey, yeah, I've got it and. Yeah, look, someone who worked
- 34:07on the film, an animator said. We worked on the ANG movie for
- 34:09years with the expectation we get to celebrate all our hard
- 34:12work in theatres just to see people unceremoniously leak the
- 34:14film and pass our shots around on Twitter like candy.
- 34:18So disrespectful. It's really strange the
- 34:24Paramount's decided not to put it in theatres now.
- 34:27Oh yeah. Well, it's so.
- 34:28Fucked up. Well, well, yeah, because the
- 34:30audience that they would have got to go to the movies, they
- 34:33would have already got to download.
- 34:34So, so weird. So you've.
- 34:37Yeah, these people have just ruined this for a lot of people
- 34:40who maybe would have gone, even though I have no interest in
- 34:44this at all. And then the comments on here
- 34:47confuse me as well. Right.
- 34:48I kind of hope Paramount will learn from this release on
- 34:53Paramount Plus is a bad idea. It's got nothing to do with
- 34:55Paramount Plus. No, someone sent the fucking
- 34:58movie to somebody. Like, yes, like what are they
- 35:02meant to learn from this? Like they were going to release
- 35:05it in theaters. You're going to be able to go
- 35:06see it there, but because people just decide to release it like
- 35:12Paramount Plus has nothing to. Do with it it's yeah, I I just I
- 35:16wonder if we'll get follow up on this and just I'd love to know
- 35:20how the fuck did somebody e-mail because eight first of all
- 35:24saying you emailed the movie to somebody.
- 35:26It doesn't make any sense. There's going to be more to it
- 35:28than. That.
- 35:29You cannot e-mail a movie. You can't e-mail.
- 35:31AI don't know any e-mail that will accept a gig file.
- 35:35No, it's like a 25 megabyte file limit on a lot of e-mail
- 35:38services. Yeah, they already sent it a
- 35:40link to something, but like, how the fuck did that happen?
- 35:45Like, it's just, it's all very strange.
- 35:47Especially just someone who didn't really have like a lot of
- 35:51followers. Seemingly some random person.
- 35:54But they weren't like a unless they're not a random person.
- 35:57This is they made a burner account, yeah.
- 36:00But this account's been around for quite some time, it's just
- 36:03not really been active. Yeah, but like, yeah, I don't
- 36:07know. Because we get stuff right.
- 36:10Yeah, they said this to me. I'm not going to make a Twitter
- 36:12account and leak it. Oh God though, I'd never do
- 36:15anything like that. So I just I.
- 36:18Was wondering how does this happen?
- 36:20I respect things. When we get stuff said to us
- 36:22that go, hey, there's an embargo on it, I go right not saying a
- 36:25thing. Yeah.
- 36:26Even with packs, they sent out packs.
- 36:29So I was sending a few emails to me about like, hey, tickets
- 36:33going on here, but there's embargo into the estate and
- 36:35stuff like that. Like, Yep, kept quiet even
- 36:38though the information is also publicly available.
- 36:41It's sort of weird. Yeah, they've already announced
- 36:44it, but then we had an A bugger from talking about it to this
- 36:47stage. Yeah, we're well behaved.
- 36:49Yes, we don't step on anyone's toes.
- 36:54That's very weird. But yeah, no, I don't know if
- 36:56this I I think this person just sort of found it online and just
- 37:00went, hey, I'm going to claim that it's been hang.
- 37:03On how did they find it online though it got leaked somehow.
- 37:06That's Well, yeah, I don't. I'm saying that he maybe found
- 37:10the leak, was one of the 1st to see the leak, and then started
- 37:13going claiming it. Not maybe.
- 37:15I don't think he actually did it.
- 37:17I think he's doing it for. Me saying oh they emailed it to
- 37:20me doesn't satisfy my curiosity because.
- 37:24That doesn't make any sense to me.
- 37:25There's more, there's got to be more to it than that.
- 37:26Like who emailed it to you? Why was it emailed at all to
- 37:29you? Like, why was it in a place that
- 37:32could be emailed? You know what I mean?
- 37:34Like. Yeah, no, I, I think this person
- 37:37just like stumbled across it, saw it was there and just took
- 37:40credit for. It like, what I want, what I'm
- 37:41the detail I want is like, OK, they were sending it out for
- 37:44sound mixing or something like that.
- 37:46And so they shared it on, you know, one of those files sharing
- 37:50services and put the wrong e-mail address in or something
- 37:52like that. Is that what happened?
- 37:53OK, yeah. And I'll be like, oh, OK, I get
- 37:55it. Yeah.
- 37:56Like, but just the way that it's been described is just fucking
- 37:59weird. The way that it's described is
- 38:01completely not true. Like no one, you can't e-mail
- 38:03the movie. It's not possible.
- 38:05Yeah, so I don't. We've got some other movie news.
- 38:13Yeah, So there's a new Lord of the Rings movie, did you know
- 38:15that? Really.
- 38:17Why I've only seen one and it was went for hours.
- 38:22You've only seen one. Yeah.
- 38:25Which one? Lord of the Rings, the first
- 38:27one. Fellowship of the Ring.
- 38:28You've watched the others. No.
- 38:30Really. No, you.
- 38:32Should watch those mate, they're good.
- 38:33I'm I'm not a fancy person. No, no, OK.
- 38:38No, not fantasy, Doctor Mike. Closest I get to fantasy is
- 38:41Terry Pratchett. Like that's.
- 38:43I mean, that's literally fantasy so.
- 38:44It is literally fantasy, but it's more than jokes that bring
- 38:47me in and then. Yeah, it's got jokes in it.
- 38:51Does it? Yeah, yeah, they're not as
- 38:53frequent as a Terry Pratchett. Yeah.
- 38:56Story but. But yeah, but like, I haven't
- 38:59seen that. I'm not watching.
- 38:59I also don't understand. Pratchett's dead, Jr.
- 39:02Tolkien's dead. You know, they're all uncommon.
- 39:09All right, Well, they're making another one because I guess Andy
- 39:11Serkis wants to direct it and he's going to be Gollum again.
- 39:15It's called the Hunt for Gollum. He's going to play Gollum and
- 39:21Smeagol. Who he?
- 39:23Maybe you don't know this because you've never seen the
- 39:25later ones, but Smeagol is. The story.
- 39:28OK, all right, Smeagol is who Golem was because you don't read
- 39:31books too. We should make that clear.
- 39:33Though. No, but I do.
- 39:34Yeah. I I've lost the ability to you.
- 39:36Don't know how to read? Yes, I used to be able to, but I
- 39:40lost the ability. I mean, I question that, but
- 39:43whatever we've done, we've done this.
- 39:46I think you probably just can't be bothered, but Elijah Wood is
- 39:52coming back as Frodo. Lee Pace is coming back as
- 39:55Thrandwell. Really.
- 39:58Yeah, I wouldn't see them being in it.
- 40:01Yeah, no, they are like, in fact a lot of people.
- 40:04Are coming back a long time ago and then Yep, turn into Gollum.
- 40:09So why would Elijah Wood be back?
- 40:12Well I think it's more about it's called the Hunt for Gollum,
- 40:16so I guess it maybe it takes place during Lord of the Rings.
- 40:19Oh, OK. They're turning into a sort of a
- 40:22spin off story that. What is the?
- 40:27That's not a reason. It's probably based on something
- 40:31book related. I, I yeah.
- 40:33I just don't know exactly what the plot of this is, but
- 40:37Mccallum's back, Mccallum's back.
- 40:40Elijah Wood is back, Lee Pace isn't.
- 40:42He wasn't in Lord of the Rings using The Hobbit, but he's back
- 40:44as that character through Andrew.
- 40:47But Vigo Mortensen, Aragon is in this, but Vigo Mortensen was not
- 40:53interested in in doing this seemingly and so.
- 40:59For kicking a helmet, wasn't he? That's right.
- 41:01So yeah. You know some that's not even in
- 41:05the first movie and you know that you have that's in this.
- 41:08I know stuff. Yeah.
- 41:12Do you know that from that meme video that is on Instagram Reels
- 41:18and whatnot of the people explaining that to somebody?
- 41:21I think that's how I learned. About it.
- 41:23All right. OK, That makes sense.
- 41:27So anyway, they've got a new actor to play Aragon.
- 41:30OK. So yeah.
- 41:33So this is going to be set during at some point of The Lord
- 41:37of the Rings and then I'm not going to have a side quest.
- 41:40I'm not sure I was like, I'm like half slightly interested in
- 41:45this. I do love the Lord of the Rings
- 41:46movies. I did not like The Hobbit
- 41:48movies. Well is it?
- 41:49With The Hobbit they turned like the smallest book into a trilogy
- 41:53so had to pump it full of stuff that didn't matter.
- 41:56And I I mean the same guy fucking made this the movies and
- 42:00I just don't understand. Yeah, it's sort of weird for me.
- 42:05I should have been he should have made The Hobbit 1st and
- 42:08just done A1 movie to go hey look for what we can do and then
- 42:12went into the Lord of the. Lord of the Rings was that that
- 42:14that doesn't matter. Lord of the Rings was good.
- 42:16The Lord of the Rings trilogy was so good.
- 42:17Then I know it. Was it was great, right?
- 42:19And they didn't, I mean, I know what you're saying, but they
- 42:21didn't need to. He, he, they.
- 42:22Didn't need to. They ordered and then he went
- 42:24back and then that we got to turn this.
- 42:26And then people say I liked the King Kong movie he did, but
- 42:30people point to that as the you can tell from that movie that he
- 42:34was like gotten to the point where nobody's telling him
- 42:38that's a bad idea. And it's just it's it's gone too
- 42:42far. And I do see that in King Kong.
- 42:44But I did like that movie. But then I watched the Lord of
- 42:46the ring that sorry, The Hobbit, and I'm like, it's fucking this
- 42:50guy needs to be fucking reined in.
- 42:51This is. Ridiculous George Lucas when no
- 42:53one was able to tell him no. Sure.
- 42:57Yeah, Except I do think now I look back on the prequels and
- 43:02I'm like, I think maybe we were a little harsh on them.
- 43:05He was right about not just doing the same shit over and
- 43:10over again, because look at what?
- 43:11Happened I know, but episode 1? I know, but but I mean, I still
- 43:19think he was right. He was trying to do something
- 43:21different. He wasn't successful.
- 43:22But I also think if he had just tried to do Star Wars again, it
- 43:26wouldn't have worked because Disney did it and it didn't
- 43:28fucking work, people. No.
- 43:30Look at what happened with the. Sequel trilogy, as you can say
- 43:33with the sequel trilogy, the reason that didn't work is it
- 43:36confused a lot of fans like me because you got rid of all the
- 43:41extended universe and then just. But he hated all that stuff too.
- 43:44No, he signed off on it all. Though, No, But have you George?
- 43:48Have you seen that? I know this is somewhat
- 43:50satirical, the Mara Jade clip. No.
- 43:54Where he George Lucas. He's like Mara Jade.
- 43:58It's not my character. I don't give a shit.
- 44:00And there's a clip of when they were doing Robot Chicken of
- 44:03someone hang on, let me find it. Oh, you know, we can watch it
- 44:05together. Here we go.
- 44:07We're going. To We're going to try something
- 44:09new. Yeah, here we go.
- 44:13This is exciting everyone. Here we go.
- 44:17How do I do it? Oh, yeah, it's complicated.
- 44:19Oh, man. All right, I'll figure it out.
- 44:21We'll work it out. It's going to happen.
- 44:23Yep, all right. What I need to do is I need to
- 44:27click this button and then I need to click this button and
- 44:31then I need to click this button and then I need to click this
- 44:34button and then now in theory you can see my YouTube ready.
- 44:39Yes, OK. As the creator of Mara Jade.
- 44:43Wait, I am not the creator of Mara Jade, and I want you to get
- 44:48out of this office right now. I'm sorry.
- 44:50No way. No way.
- 44:51You brought it on yourself. I don't want to hear.
- 44:54I'm sorry, George. I didn't think it would go like
- 44:55this out. Ted, I got your voucher out.
- 45:07There. Yeah, that's a joke of.
- 45:12Course it is. It's just funny.
- 45:15Because yeah, like he did sign off on a lot of the stuff in in
- 45:20the extended universe, especially with Yeah, like at
- 45:25one stage there was the Han and Lei's children, there was Jason
- 45:30Trainer and Anakin. They wouldn't Anakin become evil
- 45:34in one of the things and he's gone.
- 45:36No, you can't make Anakin evil. You can make Jason evil.
- 45:39Like he did have still a lot of creative control over the
- 45:44extended universe, but when Disney came along, they just.
- 45:47Did whatever the fuck they want. We we wiping it out all.
- 45:50Don't worry about that. And so people like me, I know
- 45:53who grew up with the extended universe got very confused
- 45:57because you're bringing characters back that were in it,
- 46:00but then you're not following it.
- 46:02But they're the same character. But then sometimes they're not.
- 46:04I know because they've got Throne showing up in.
- 46:07Things, yeah, but. Well that's the TV series too,
- 46:09but not the sequels. I don't know, I just my point
- 46:12was just that I think I think the prequels are not remembered
- 46:19as badly as we thought they would be shortly.
- 46:23After they came out, there were people who grew up on them and
- 46:25that is their movies. That too, Yeah.
- 46:29I mean, I'm not going to watch them again.
- 46:31No, I've watched the original trilogy and then I'm.
- 46:33I'm good. Oh, I'm actually learning my
- 46:35lesson. I'm going to go see movie next
- 46:37weekend. OK, I'm.
- 46:39Going to see Raiders of the Lost Ark.
- 46:42That's a great movie. Yep, they're putting that on in
- 46:45my local movies and I'm going sick.
- 46:48Yeah, I would love to. I would love to watch all three.
- 46:52Yeah, the Indiana Jones movies that exist.
- 46:54Just those 3. Movies, those 3 movies?
- 46:58Oh no, I've I've sort of come around to there's 3 1/2.
- 47:03Crystal Skull. No, not Crystal Skull, the last.
- 47:07Doll Destiny. Donald Destiny, I didn't.
- 47:09I didn't mind doll destiny. Yeah.
- 47:12Yeah, I, I see the flaws. People talk about this and that
- 47:16and I'm like, yeah, I get it, but.
- 47:18But no, it's felt right, felt right, like it like it.
- 47:22Crystal Skull we just need to forget about like that.
- 47:25I've got to rewatch that. I'm just, it baffles me.
- 47:30Well, when you get one of the lead characters that you want to
- 47:32have an accent, maybe you should see if they can do the accent
- 47:36first. It's they're an actor.
- 47:38Actors can just do accents. Like Tom Holland?
- 47:42Yeah. Pretending to be British in the
- 47:44interview. So anyway, yes, new Lord of the
- 47:49Rings movie. I will not be seeing it because
- 47:53it's going to go for like 5 hours or something.
- 47:56Well, it's a different director too.
- 47:58Sandy Serkis. He did the Planet of the Apes
- 48:04movies. I think he did some of those.
- 48:06He's done some stuff that turned out I.
- 48:09Didn't I? Didn't I own all the Planet Apes
- 48:11movies? The new ones but I've never
- 48:13watched? Them.
- 48:14I've never seen them. I should watch them.
- 48:16I'm like, I turned out, I turned from.
- 48:19I'm a film enthusiast. Enthusiast.
- 48:22I would still say that, except I realized I don't watch anything
- 48:25anymore. I don't watch movies.
- 48:26I barely watch any movies I like.
- 48:28I just only I'm enthusiastic about the ones I saw when I was
- 48:31young. Yes.
- 48:33New ones. Well, it's a very different time
- 48:36when we're all young. It's because that's all you got.
- 48:39We're we're, we're spoiled for choice.
- 48:41Now it's harder. That's true, yeah.
- 48:44There's so much stuff. It's not just movies, you've got
- 48:47all the streaming shows. There's so many different
- 48:49streaming shows that are good that you want to watch.
- 48:52Like I still have not watched season 2 of End or I don't know
- 48:56what's good. Yeah, I should watch that.
- 48:58I've watched that. We're making our way through
- 49:00Shit's Creek still. That's a good show on that when
- 49:04it came out. Just watch the latest season of
- 49:07Always Sunny OH. So good.
- 49:11Wow, that show's fucking. I don't understand how they're
- 49:14still making it so good. They just keep going.
- 49:18That's. Funny, Here's a weird one for
- 49:21you. Yeah, you know Bloodborne.
- 49:25It's one of those Souls like games, yeah, it's not playing.
- 49:28Game. Yeah, yeah, yeah on that.
- 49:29It's PlayStation exclusive, which is why you wouldn't be
- 49:31super familiar with it. Well, it's also it's a Souls
- 49:34game and I cannot stay in those games either.
- 49:39But, well, I mean, I like the look of Bloodborne.
- 49:41In fact, yes, if it had come out on Xbox I think I would have
- 49:46played it just because it looked so cool.
- 49:48But. It's like with Elder ring.
- 49:50Elder ring looks amazing and I tried to play it and then just.
- 49:54I gave it a good go as well. I gave Elder Ring a good go.
- 49:57Couldn't get anywhere because yeah, I could be patient.
- 50:00Yeah, that whole thing where people like, oh, you know, you
- 50:03just get to a boss fight, you just have to fail a bunch of
- 50:05times and learn the moves, this kind of stuff.
- 50:06And I was like, oh, I actually, I don't enjoy that.
- 50:08No, I'm trying. I just, it's not.
- 50:11I enjoy. It I'm not patient enough and I
- 50:13don't have enough time to sit there and learn how bosses go.
- 50:17And then they've got different phases.
- 50:19So you might learn the first phase and then they're going to
- 50:21mix it up and you go and then you'll die again and then you've
- 50:24got to do the. First, well, that's the game.
- 50:26I'm like, yeah, I know. And I don't like it.
- 50:27Like it. And I'm, I'm, I'm fine with
- 50:30that. I've made peace with that.
- 50:31Yeah, and that's why plot porn looks amazing.
- 50:35I won't play it. Well, will you watch it?
- 50:38There's a they're making a movie of it.
- 50:41And the interesting thing about this apparently is that it's
- 50:46being made by developed and produced by Jacksepticeye, a
- 50:51YouTube. And everyone's like saying that
- 50:55this is quite strange because has this guy ever made a movie
- 51:02before? Like I just don't it.
- 51:08It's apparently this is controversial.
- 51:11Well, that's not the first one to not for Shushu would to go
- 51:16out and make a was that movie like there was just iron lung.
- 51:21Oh, sure. Well, Markiplier, that made
- 51:23that, sure, but that's not. Adapting another thing that's
- 51:26like. Well, not else.
- 51:27Adapting a game into a movie. Was it?
- 51:30Yeah, iron lungs a game. Oh, I thought he just made a
- 51:33movie. No, no, it's based on the game
- 51:36Iron Lung. OK, well then maybe.
- 51:39OK, so. Like there's precedence horror,
- 51:42but yeah, just feel like a few of these people are starting to,
- 51:46they want to be more creative. Wait, horror film written,
- 51:49edited and directed by Markiplier.
- 51:51It's. Oh, it is.
- 51:52OK, You're right. I know it is based on a game.
- 51:54All right. Fine.
- 51:54Yeah. Yeah.
- 51:56Because I was thinking it's just like, if they, you know, we're
- 51:59if this show was more successful than it is And.
- 52:03And then they were like, all right, would you like to adapt
- 52:06Fucking. I don't know.
- 52:09I'll adapt stuff. I'll adapt anything.
- 52:10I'll adapt, My Little Pony. But like, I'm trying to think of
- 52:14one that's not based on anything.
- 52:17I don't know. It just seems weird that they
- 52:18would come to us and say, OK, you've made YouTube content,
- 52:23make a movie. Well, I don't think they went to
- 52:25him. I think he went to them and
- 52:27went, yeah, you might be right. I will, because he's producing
- 52:29it. So he's basically, I'm going to
- 52:31pay for this like the money's coming from him.
- 52:36Well, I'm going to go with he's reporting, developing and
- 52:39producing. Oh, it's animated.
- 52:44Oh OK, that changes things. Yeah.
- 52:47I missed that. Yeah, you're right.
- 52:48There's that word in there my eyes did not read.
- 52:51But yeah, I don't know. I mostly I just saw people
- 52:56going. Why the fuck is this YouTube
- 52:59doing this? And I was like, that's a good
- 53:01question. I don't know.
- 53:02Well, yeah, I think with the fact that he's just developing
- 53:04and producing and then he's basically.
- 53:05So for me, he's just going to be paying people to go and make
- 53:08this for him. And hopefully he's got the taste
- 53:12to say yes, no, whatever. Yeah.
- 53:16To manage it, yeah. But I don't even know who this
- 53:19person is. Or I've seen, I've heard of him.
- 53:23I couldn't tell you. I don't think I've seen any of
- 53:25his videos. Maybe I have.
- 53:29Yeah, I, no, I, I'm watching, I'm looking at some of him and
- 53:33I've, no, there's nothing on here that I've seen of him, so I
- 53:36have no idea. How many YouTube subscribers has
- 53:39he got? 31 million.
- 53:41OK. Yeah, a couple more than those.
- 53:43Yep, just a couple. Yeah.
- 53:46All right. What do we know then?
- 53:50Well, The thing is, what happens is people go out, they make a
- 53:53lot of money and then they're good at everything.
- 53:56Right. Elon Musk, for example, Yeah.
- 54:00That's right. Yep, he knows everything.
- 54:03Yeah, Yep. He, he was he he's had a few
- 54:08successful manufacturing businesses.
- 54:10Therefore, he's probably good at everything.
- 54:13Good at everything? Yep.
- 54:15Remember when we used to like him?
- 54:17Yeah, I do actually. He ruined that for us.
- 54:21Like when he was like he coming up with a boring company and
- 54:24brought out the flamethrower stuff and it was all a bit of
- 54:27fun and. Yeah, it was.
- 54:28The Twitter thing really fucked up.
- 54:31Yeah. Yeah, it was like those people
- 54:34just before that, people were like, I don't know about this
- 54:36guy. And then yeah, the whole Twitter
- 54:38thing, just. Just brought a lot out and then.
- 54:41Yeah, it's really weird. The fact that like.
- 54:44Oh yeah, because. It was the thing with the guy in
- 54:46Thailand, the the. The the, the he's gone.
- 54:49It's in The Cave like he was going to go, like I'll make a
- 54:53submarine and go in and then the title it.
- 54:55Was science that he was, you know, but.
- 54:58Then yeah, yeah. And now he actually when he
- 55:04talks, he loses. That's why Tesla went.
- 55:07You have to stop talking. You are losing US money.
- 55:11Yeah, yes, it's kind of funny. AI.
- 55:21There has been a lot of AI stuff going on.
- 55:26It's changing constantly. People are freaking out about
- 55:30it. There's just just so much stuff.
- 55:33It's happening so quickly and I can see why people are freaking
- 55:36out because. Yeah, but I'll tell you what, if
- 55:40you're, if you listen to this now and you're freaking out
- 55:42about AI, what you should not do is attack Sam Altman's house
- 55:47with a Molotov cocktail. That's not.
- 55:50A No. I think Sam Altman's having a
- 55:53bad week. I would argue, actually,
- 55:57somebody failing to firebomb your house is actually not as
- 56:00bad as Ronan Farrow writing an article about you because the
- 56:06article is about basically about how, like, Sam Altman lies a lot
- 56:13and how that's been a a feature, not a bug for open AI for a long
- 56:19time. But now people are starting to
- 56:21question, can we? We can't trust this guy.
- 56:24He just lies constantly. And the article is basically
- 56:27about how, yeah, he does lie. He doesn't.
- 56:30I listened to an interview with Rona Farrow about it.
- 56:34He said. It seems like Sam Altman has
- 56:36this unique combination of he's a people pleaser, so he will
- 56:41lie. Because like whoever is happy
- 56:43too happy at the. Time also has this kind of
- 56:47psychotic trait where he just does not care about the
- 56:52consequences of being found to be lying.
- 56:56You know, normally you would feel bad if you lied and then
- 56:58someone found out. He doesn't have that.
- 57:00Like he just continues to lie and he doesn't he doesn't have
- 57:05that kind of guilt. He.
- 57:06Seems sort of sort of young. Sam Altman.
- 57:11Yeah. I mean, he's younger than us,
- 57:13I'm pretty sure. Yeah, yeah, Maltman.
- 57:15He is 40. He's slightly younger than us.
- 57:19A lot younger. He looks good.
- 57:22That's what money does for you. I.
- 57:24Mean you. You would think he'd be
- 57:26stressed, honestly. Well no, if he's just lying and
- 57:30just not caring then. Well, that's yeah, maybe.
- 57:33But yes, someone tried to Molotov his house.
- 57:36Don't do that. But it does show that obviously
- 57:39people are people are fucking worried about this stuff.
- 57:43Well, what is I don't, I keep saying like we keep automating
- 57:46jobs and turning everything else into a more higher skilled
- 57:49thing. What are people meant to do for
- 57:52work? Like if we keep just doing
- 57:55everything and then the people who are like you look at the
- 57:57Amazon workers who get paid pennies to run around and have
- 58:00to hit quotas and do all of this, and then their jobs are
- 58:03being automated anyway. I hear what you're saying, but.
- 58:06Everyone go. I don't know if that's an
- 58:08argument for just. We should not do it though.
- 58:11No, I'm not saying we shouldn't. I just.
- 58:13There needs to be. History like.
- 58:15There needs to, yeah, but it's what happens though.
- 58:19No, no, I, I, I know, yeah, I'm just saying, I people seem to
- 58:24say, yeah, for example, OK, AI is going to take say software
- 58:28developers, right? So my job, right, junior, this
- 58:31is actually a concern in my industry that so many companies
- 58:35are using these AI tools and not hiring junior developers anymore
- 58:39because there's like Claude code can do what a junior developer
- 58:42does. The problem is you don't then
- 58:45have somebody who becomes a senior developer leader to to go
- 58:50over the stuff that the Claude code is doing and fix it later.
- 58:53And eventually the concern is. Well then now you've just got
- 58:57this shitty code is becomes. The baseline, yeah.
- 59:02And like, so I don't know, is that an argument to just not use
- 59:08them and and just artificially say we should not use this
- 59:11incredible tool that? You.
- 59:14Know what I mean? Or do we just have to figure
- 59:16out? We we need to, we need to have
- 59:19it, but also work out a way to just have it work alongside, not
- 59:24replace or look at another stream for people to.
- 59:30Abstract it even more like say you have a business, right?
- 59:32And you have you hire a person to do a specific job and then
- 59:35now that we've got ChatGPT, ChatGPT can do that job better
- 59:40than that person, right? And so some people who would
- 59:44say, well, you have a moral obligation to just keep paying
- 59:48that person to do it, even though.
- 59:51I've got this cheaper alternative that.
- 59:53Will yeah, I just don't think that's the way to I don't, I
- 59:56don't think you can do that. I think it's unfortunate and I
- 59:59don't I I don't know what the solution is.
- 1:00:01No, I don't think the solution is just pretend that we didn't
- 1:00:03invent this thing. You know what I mean?
- 1:00:05No, because it is there, right? Is going to be useful and I find
- 1:00:09it useful. I use it.
- 1:00:11I use, I use Claude all the time for stuff.
- 1:00:13I used it the other day to sort my fucking documents folder.
- 1:00:18The thing it can do. I just said this is a it's a
- 1:00:20goddamn mess. And I don't, I just, I don't
- 1:00:22want to go through everything. So I just said, can you organize
- 1:00:25this? And it just did it.
- 1:00:26It was amazing. Yep.
- 1:00:28Like, yeah, I don't know. It's just everything's happening
- 1:00:30so quickly. And I think that's, and I think
- 1:00:33it's, I don't want to be me, but it's the lowest skilled people
- 1:00:38who are going to be push down like the automation's a lot of
- 1:00:42everything. Lower level, what do they call
- 1:00:46it? Like desk work I guess is what
- 1:00:50I'm saying. Like if you're a plumber, right,
- 1:00:52you're fine. You're fine.
- 1:00:54If you're an electrician, you're fine.
- 1:00:56In fact, if you're an electrician, it's probably a
- 1:00:57good time to be an electrician because with these things need
- 1:01:01fucking electricity. But.
- 1:01:02But yeah, you're right. Like low level knowledge work.
- 1:01:04That's the word, Yeah. Low level knowledge work, Yeah
- 1:01:08is arguably under attack from it right now.
- 1:01:12And for those people who don't have that sort of knowledge,
- 1:01:16it's they're going to find it harder to get a job, but and
- 1:01:20then called out for not working. But then where are they meant to
- 1:01:24go? Because you can't also, at the
- 1:01:26end of the day, you can't have everyone working in a high
- 1:01:29knowledge job. It's.
- 1:01:30No, no, Exactly right. Yeah, Well, this is what Andrew
- 1:01:33Yang used to say. I listened to.
- 1:01:34There's an interview with him years ago where he was talking
- 1:01:35about this. This was before any of this had
- 1:01:38happened. This is like even just a few
- 1:01:41years ago before we were talking about this stuff.
- 1:01:44But he was talking about the self driving trucks, right?
- 1:01:47You've got all these truck drivers who are driving stuff
- 1:01:51back and forth across America, right?
- 1:01:53What you know, we don't need them anymore in a few years,
- 1:01:56say, right, The trucks drive themselves.
- 1:01:58You can't just say to this guy, go learn to program a computer
- 1:02:03like, no, that's not feasible, So what is that person supposed
- 1:02:07to do? Yes, because like learning going
- 1:02:12for a truck driver to learning the program, you can do it, but.
- 1:02:15Absolutely. But there's well, how old is
- 1:02:17this person? You have a family, you have
- 1:02:20like, it's not, it's not easy. It's not easy.
- 1:02:22And then there's also how many jobs are available in that space
- 1:02:27that you got all the go to. Yeah, well, you're going to hire
- 1:02:30a truck driver who just learned how to how to code, you know,
- 1:02:33during a spare time, or you're going to hire some kid who went
- 1:02:37to the college, or you're going to pay Claude Code to do it now,
- 1:02:40apparently. Yes, so let's stop all the doom
- 1:02:44and gloom. Yeah, let's end on something
- 1:02:46funny before we go to the after party, because we're meant to be
- 1:02:49a fun podcast. All right, all right.
- 1:02:51I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
- 1:02:52I thought this was fun. I was having.
- 1:02:53Fun. I thought I was having fun, but
- 1:02:54I thought we're going to be we're getting a bit dark.
- 1:02:56All right, fine. They got the future.
- 1:02:58It's getting weird. Don't.
- 1:02:59Worry we're not going to be needed much longer anyway.
- 1:03:02No. What about the podcast soon?
- 1:03:06They already do, man. They already.
- 1:03:07Do and people listen. They've probably got more
- 1:03:09subscribers than us. Yeah, All right.
- 1:03:16What do you want to? Talk about I do want to talk
- 1:03:19about the Trump phone, but I want to save that for the after
- 1:03:21party, all right? I'll move it down, all right.
- 1:03:27What about the Lego heist? Let's talk about the Lego heist.
- 1:03:33All right, three men in California have been arrested in
- 1:03:38collection with the theft of $1,000,000 worth of Lego.
- 1:03:43So they brought like three boxes.
- 1:03:46Yeah, they filled 2 box trucks in California.
- 1:03:55Yeah and stolen from. Does it say where it was stolen
- 1:04:00from specifically? I don't know, but they.
- 1:04:04Yeah, apparently just filled up to two box trucks full of Lego
- 1:04:07and I was like, what's the motivation?
- 1:04:11Like did they just see what's a high value item?
- 1:04:14Well, it's a high value and it's also easy to on sell.
- 1:04:17Like you go on eBay, you just sell like it's an easy thing to
- 1:04:21sell. Yeah, like there's a market for
- 1:04:23it, especially you go on like eBay and just put it on and
- 1:04:28people just bid for it and away you go.
- 1:04:30And because it costs you nothing.
- 1:04:33Right. Yeah, seemingly, yeah.
- 1:04:36And yeah, you're not having a hard time on selling it.
- 1:04:39So I can actually see why this would be a crime, Lucrative
- 1:04:43crime, yeah. You think they had a meeting and
- 1:04:45they were like, all right, what are we going to steal?
- 1:04:47And then they just narrowed it down to fucking Lego.
- 1:04:49I think they did. I think there's a lot of thought
- 1:04:52went into this because it's you're not worried about having
- 1:04:55because there's no serial numbers on it or anything like
- 1:04:58that. You can just.
- 1:05:00Yeah, right. It's not, it's not heavy.
- 1:05:03It's they're in boxes, easy to move.
- 1:05:07They lit up to two box trucks and then where they were
- 1:05:12arrested, there were empty cargo trailers with the Amazon logo on
- 1:05:16them. So they've gotten those from
- 1:05:19somewhere. So I guess they were going to
- 1:05:21pose as like Amazon drivers in Getaway like that.
- 1:05:25That's fucking. I think they put a lot of
- 1:05:28thought in. For this, yeah, I know.
- 1:05:29It's kind of interesting. I would like to see a movie made
- 1:05:32of this. They also It also mentions in
- 1:05:37the last paragraph that there's like a whole Lego black market
- 1:05:40which is interesting. Oh OK, I know there's like the
- 1:05:47knock off Lego but a notice of black market for real Lego.
- 1:05:51This comes the Times says. This comes on the heel of a
- 1:05:53similar bust. In October, the police
- 1:05:54investigated an entire Lego black market in Lake County,
- 1:05:57California, rating what appeared to be a Lego figurine chop shop.
- 1:06:03I need more information about Lego figurine.
- 1:06:06Chop chop. Hey, there's a link here.
- 1:06:07Let's see. There you go.
- 1:06:08Police break up Lego theft ring, recovering hundreds of beheaded
- 1:06:11figurines. I'm still confused.
- 1:06:17Officials said they'd recovered 10s of thousands of Lego pieces
- 1:06:20at a California home and arrested a man who trafficked in
- 1:06:22the stolen collectibles. So I guess I don't know, he was
- 1:06:27stealing them and. Just.
- 1:06:30Chopping the heads off, but heads off.
- 1:06:32You don't really have to chop the heads off.
- 1:06:33If the heads come off, the heads not know that.
- 1:06:35That's the hell they work. That's like if you chop the
- 1:06:38little stump off. Yeah, you wouldn't be.
- 1:06:41Able to put a heads behind that. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:06:43What's the point of that? Maybe that's where the the the
- 1:06:45serial number is on a Lego is in.
- 1:06:48The neck that actually is so strange.
- 1:06:54How can they not know that they're not actually beheaded?
- 1:06:59Mate, who knows, maybe they didn't.
- 1:07:02They just didn't have a very good childhood.
- 1:07:04They didn't know about Lego. Well, actually when I was
- 1:07:07growing up, I didn't have Lego. I had I played with my cousin's
- 1:07:10Lego. Oh, that euphemism.
- 1:07:13No, no, OK, You had the castle and everything.
- 1:07:17Oh, OK, I had Robin Hood's little that Robin Hood playset,
- 1:07:21which is very cool with the trees and whatnot, and then a
- 1:07:24just a bunch of random fucking Lego, like a big box of just
- 1:07:27random. I I now have a ton of Lego.
- 1:07:30I was looking for for Lira. I've gotten her a couple of sets
- 1:07:35and she loves it. Lego or Druplo?
- 1:07:37Lego. Lego, Yeah, She helped me build
- 1:07:39my Formula One car Lego, which is somewhere in this room.
- 1:07:44So I bought her some smaller sets but like it's fucking
- 1:07:48expensive. It is.
- 1:07:51And I looked on eBay you can get just bulk boxes of Lego, but I
- 1:07:56look at the reviews on them and it just disturbs me a bit where
- 1:07:58it's like you can make sure you wash these because they are
- 1:08:00filthy. And it's like I was.
- 1:08:02Like, I don't know that I want to deal with that.
- 1:08:05No, I'm just hoping it's you can buy.
- 1:08:09I think you can buy directly from Lego just.
- 1:08:12Yeah, right. I did buy her a big a crate of
- 1:08:15it, but it's not it wasn't as big as it was implied to be.
- 1:08:19Yeah, and you need to make sure you've got wheels in there and.
- 1:08:23Sure, because yeah, when I was a kid, we just had all the the
- 1:08:27stuff I needed to make things. Yeah, in a in a big crate.
- 1:08:31I don't know where the. Fuck, you got it.
- 1:08:32I went to my cousin's house and it's just a suitcase and it was
- 1:08:35just, you open it up and there was just everything in there.
- 1:08:38Yeah, wow. Not like drugs, but then he had
- 1:08:42children and then they got instead of me.
- 1:08:45Yeah, he thought you were going to inherit it.
- 1:08:47Yes. I would have liked it.
- 1:08:51You have a lot of Lego though, I know this.
- 1:08:53About I have a lot of Lego. There's actually a new Lego
- 1:08:55thing I've got to build that I remember I brought six months
- 1:08:57ago. There's Do you see the Lego
- 1:08:59Project Hail Mary? The Lego Hail Mary.
- 1:09:02No, I didn't know that. I'm making that.
- 1:09:04Yeah, it looks sick. Man, oh wow.
- 1:09:06Yeah, I kind of want that. Looks good, I might have to look
- 1:09:10into that. It's the ship, and then there's
- 1:09:12a little little Grace and little rocky.
- 1:09:15It's boilers. Oh, and they're not huge either.
- 1:09:17And it's it's been. These are nice bits.
- 1:09:20It it switches from like travel mode into centrifugal mode for
- 1:09:26the gravity and you can spin the little thing and it spins.
- 1:09:28It's cool. Oh I'm yeah, I might be buying
- 1:09:31this. Yeah, well if you want to help
- 1:09:35Luke afford the Hail Mary, Lego Hail Mary, you can hit
- 1:09:39patreon.com/multiple Nerdgasm and for as little as $1.00 a
- 1:09:42month you can support the show financially and we would really
- 1:09:45appreciate that. In return you will get the the
- 1:09:49show slightly early every week and maybe even slightly earlier.
- 1:09:55Yes, I have, I have, I have. I'm just, I have a thing that
- 1:09:59I'm thinking of. Yeah, that we're going to.
- 1:10:01That will have to do. Well, we're going to, yeah,
- 1:10:04we'll talk. We'll we're real more about that
- 1:10:05too. But we might be shifting the
- 1:10:07release date for the show forward highly.
- 1:10:09Just to make the stuff we're talking about a little bit more
- 1:10:11relevant to when you hear it. Yes, because we've invested in
- 1:10:14some things that make it easier for us to to do it faster.
- 1:10:18Easier for Matt. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:20I'm being generous here. I'm being honest, yeah.
- 1:10:23OK so for $1.00 a month you get the show early.
- 1:10:26You can join the Patreon community.
- 1:10:28You can join it for free and you'll get access to to the
- 1:10:31Patreon community as well. You get to see the show on
- 1:10:33there, the video and the audio version and you get for free.
- 1:10:36You get access to the discord so you can.
- 1:10:37Pop in. Yeah.
- 1:10:38If you want to let us know what you like, what you don't like,
- 1:10:40things for us to talk about, you just let us know and.
- 1:10:43Then for $5.00 a month, you get the after party, which is where
- 1:10:46we're going to go now and we're going to keep talking for a bit.
- 1:10:50And I'm going to talk about the Trump phone.
- 1:10:52All right, I'm going to talk about we've got a Geek of the
- 1:10:56Week candidate, and I've also got a terrifying story about a
- 1:11:00botched surgery. Oh, that scares me.
- 1:11:04It should scare you. It should scare.
- 1:11:06We're going. To hear about it very soon.
- 1:11:08Yep, well, hit that button. Bye everyone, bye.
- 1:11:13That's all for this week.
