Lucas: It's 'Jeg vil gerne have en pizza.' Let's break it down: 'Jeg' is I, 'vil gerne have' means would like, 'en pizza' is a pizza. Luna: Jeg vil gerne have en pizza. That's a mouthful, but I think I got it. Lucas: You did great. Now, if you want to ask 'How much is a pizza?', you say 'Hvad koster en pizza?' Luna: Hvad koster en pizza? So 'Hvad' is what, 'koster' is costs? Lucas: Exactly. 'En pizza' is a pizza. So altogether: 'Hvad koster en pizza?' Luna: Hvad koster en pizza? I can imagine myself at a pizzeria in Copenhagen saying that. Lucas: And then they'll ask what you want on it. 'Med pepperoni' means with pepperoni. 'Uden ost' means without cheese. Luna: Med pepperoni. Uden ost. So 'med' is with, 'uden' is without. Lucas: You're a natural. Now, to say 'Can I order?', it's 'Kan jeg bestille?' Luna: Kan jeg bestille. That sounds polite. 'Bestille' is order, right? Lucas: Right. And if you're getting takeaway, you say 'Tag med.' That means takeaway. Luna: Tag med. So if I want to say 'I would like a pizza with pepperoni, takeaway', it's 'Jeg vil gerne have en pizza med pepperoni, tag med'? Lucas: Perfect. Let's practice the whole thing.
