- 1:41Speaker 4: You're right though, aren't you keasy? Walking around the streets
- 1:43Speaker 4: sunny day? You feel a part of the city that
- 1:46Speaker 4: you're in when you're getting around in the CBD more
- 1:48Speaker 4: than you do when you're out in the suburbs or
- 1:50Speaker 4: anything like that.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I find it.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Really enjoyable, bloody oats, fellas. I'm loving it.
- 1:54Speaker 4: But I also don't want to be like a corporate
- 1:57Speaker 4: person coming in here every day into an office. But
- 2:00Speaker 4: when I do come into the city and go for
- 2:01Speaker 4: a walk and get lunch, and you know, it's about
- 2:03Speaker 4: forty dumplings, fifteen dumplings going out for dinner tonight, saving
- 2:07Speaker 4: my appetite.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Actually, that's probably why you should never move to the city, Keysy,
- 2:11Speaker 3: Why because you'd be dumpling boy.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Dumpling boy, you would be. You see, you're sitting on
- 2:17Speaker 1: the street there, homeless. You've got a little sign made
- 2:20Speaker 1: out of cardboard and it just says.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Dumplings please, sir, not coined spicy dumpling.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Will do anything for dumpling. Yes, that's him.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Hey, Mogi, what's coming up on the showy Mogi? What's
- 2:39Speaker 3: on the Big show with Old mogis?
- 2:42Speaker 1: Got some really interesting stuff around the radio awards submissions
- 2:46Speaker 1: coming up later on the show. Also some financial chat
- 2:49Speaker 1: with editor at Large Business Editor Business Editor at Large
- 2:54Speaker 1: Liam Dan at Large means that he doesn't have to
- 2:58Speaker 1: wear a tie. Yes, So I thought it was very
- 3:00Speaker 1: interesting just on that. It's very interesting.
- 3:02Speaker 4: After five, we're gonna have a chat with Liam, and
- 3:04Speaker 4: it's for people that might might have some money in
- 3:06Speaker 4: stocks or worried about the Kiwi savers at the moment. Yeah,
- 3:10Speaker 4: just trying to get a bit of clarity Barun what
- 3:11Speaker 4: you should do.
- 3:12Speaker 1: So we're talking to all of those people out there
- 3:13Speaker 1: that have got heaps of spear money line around.

- 3:19Speaker 4: Kezy Saver, I call it and.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Coming up next, I've got I've got a bit of
- 3:24Speaker 1: breaking news.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Ah, how exciting kick up at a bit of blue Let's.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Do it The Darky Big Show weekdays from four on
- 3:32Speaker 2: Radio hod Ikey.
- 3:33Speaker 3: He's indeed part of finger there on the radio, Hold
- 3:36Speaker 3: Larky Big Show. This glorious Wednesday afternoon. The time is
- 3:40Speaker 3: eleven minutes past four o'clock, which means it's time for this.
- 3:48Speaker 1: This is breaking news. Wow wow, well pretty exciting stuff there.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Fellas are no real way to say it except to say, oh, Mogi,
- 4:05Speaker 1: there's got another kid on the way.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Wow wow wow, Yeah, well done.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Wowsa gratulations brother, thanks mate. A bit of a surprise obviously, yes,
- 4:23Speaker 1: get a bit long and the tooth old Mogi, but
- 4:26Speaker 1: there you go.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Oh it just feels like baby fist at the moment.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Why absolute baby fist.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Because obviously, Mogi, were you trying for no? Okay? Cool?
- 4:46Speaker 3: Can I ask you, man, how did you find out
- 4:52Speaker 3: a bit weird?
- 4:53Speaker 4: Actually, my daughter actually told me. Really, my daughter told
- 4:58Speaker 4: Megan this morning. This is this morning. She comes in
- 5:02Speaker 4: and tells me, breaks the news to me. She did
- 5:05Speaker 4: breaking news.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, so I was pretty bloody shocked in
- 5:10Speaker 1: the yeah. I said, well, she said, yeah, that we're
- 5:16Speaker 1: having having another kid. I said, what are you talking about?
- 5:19Speaker 1: And she said Mom has been saying that we're going
- 5:23Speaker 1: to adopt. That we're going to adopt another kid. I said, well,
- 5:29Speaker 1: that's news to me. She said, yeah, true story. I said, okay,
- 5:34Speaker 1: So I rang my wife and my wife said she
- 5:37Speaker 1: didn't know anything about it. So I'm a little bit
- 5:39Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know what's going on really, but
- 5:41Speaker 1: I can't see that Maggie and Ogi would lie to me. No.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So yeah, so not not the traditional route, but what
- 5:51Speaker 1: it was, what's going on? So your daughter, I'm sitting
- 5:54Speaker 1: there working, my daughter comes in. She says to me,
- 5:57Speaker 1: we're having another kid. And I said, what are you
- 5:59Speaker 1: talking and she said, Mum said we're going to adopt
- 6:03Speaker 1: a kid, right, okay, you're adopting a great And I said, well,
- 6:07Speaker 1: she hasn't spoken to me about it. So I rang
- 6:09Speaker 1: my wife and I say, Megie, manage has just told
- 6:12Speaker 1: me that we're adopting a kid. I said, nice to
- 6:16Speaker 1: find out, you know. She said, well, it's news to
- 6:19Speaker 1: me as well. I said, well, she's telling me, so
- 6:23Speaker 1: it must be true.
- 6:26Speaker 3: So yeah, well congrats, man, I mean that is.
- 6:31Speaker 1: So hang on, so that is that is? This is
- 6:34Speaker 1: so confusing. This is obviously very exciting. I think it's
- 6:38Speaker 1: very exciting to you're adopting a kid.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Well yeah, I mean according to my six year old here,
- 6:43Speaker 4: but your wife doesn't know, she doesn't know anything.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You don't know. Well, she's saying she doesn't know. I
- 6:46Speaker 1: don't know who to believe to me.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yeah, well i'd go with Maggie Menaggi on that.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Really, you'd rather believe the six year old? Yes, well, well,
- 6:55Speaker 1: the thing about it is, and the reason why I'm
- 6:57Speaker 1: more inclined to believe my daughter is because she can't
- 7:00Speaker 1: keep a secret, yes, where as my wife can.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Right, So you think your wife would secretly adopt a
- 7:07Speaker 4: child without telling me what I was talking that way?
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it is not a secret anymore, is it? Yeah? Totally? Man?
- 7:14Speaker 1: Cool?
- 7:15Speaker 3: Wow, wow, that is I'm sorry that that is some
- 7:19Speaker 3: of the biggest breaking news. I think we're on this show.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on.
- 7:24Speaker 3: That is congratulations, I mean, but really, I don't can't
- 7:29Speaker 3: give us your thoughts you want to send congrats to
- 7:33Speaker 3: old Mogi on three four eight three. That is that
- 7:36Speaker 3: is a real turn up for the books.
- 7:38Speaker 5: Is it?
- 7:40Speaker 1: Because it feels like nothing's happening? Four eight three? If
- 7:44Speaker 1: you want to send three your congratulations.
- 7:46Speaker 2: She the whole Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Actually the Killers there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show.
- 7:58Speaker 3: There's beautiful Wednesday afternoon. The time, it's twenty five minutes
- 8:01Speaker 3: past four o'clock. And boy, oh boy, what a bombshell
- 8:05Speaker 3: in the old bombshell.
- 8:07Speaker 1: It was confusing airs.
- 8:09Speaker 3: A massive bombshell. Some breaking news.
- 8:12Speaker 1: It was some breaking news.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Mogi announced, Okay, here's what we're gonna do, Mogi, I'm
- 8:18Speaker 4: going to read out the transcript of our group chat. Okay,
- 8:22Speaker 4: Mike Minogue comments at one pm today, breaking news. Mogi
- 8:28Speaker 4: has got another kid on the way. The irony isn't
- 8:31Speaker 4: lost on him. I respond straight away, really question mark
- 8:35Speaker 4: double exclamation mark, and you say apparently full stop and
- 8:40Speaker 4: I say, holy if brother, congrat x x, and then
- 8:44Speaker 4: you do an emoji of a face melting and then
- 8:46Speaker 4: say but less sleep for Old Mogi, and everyone in
- 8:51Speaker 4: the group congratulates you congratulates your family and then you
- 8:56Speaker 4: come on here and you say you're having another child.
- 8:58Speaker 3: I didn't think that's because.
- 8:59Speaker 4: You ever congratulate people on anything like that. So honestly
- 9:03Speaker 4: that wasn't out of characters. I of course, Jase probably
- 9:05Speaker 4: just doesn't care.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Hey, you know how stoked time about the upcoming birth
- 9:09Speaker 3: of little kesy.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Well hang on, can we just keep it focused on
- 9:11Speaker 4: this imaginary child before my one?
- 9:13Speaker 1: Please?
- 9:14Speaker 4: So you didn't go on here and say that you're
- 9:16Speaker 4: having another kid because your daughter told you that you're adopting,
- 9:19Speaker 4: but then when you talk to your wife about it,
- 9:21Speaker 4: she didn't know what she was talking about.
- 9:22Speaker 1: So are you adopting a child? Well according to my
- 9:25Speaker 1: six year old? But according to you, no, not not
- 9:28Speaker 1: that you've heard. Not according to well, my wife doesn't
- 9:31Speaker 1: know what she's saying. She doesn't know anything about it,
- 9:33Speaker 1: but she does like surprises. So, as I said, I
- 9:35Speaker 1: don't know who to believe, right, Okay, yes you know,
- 9:40Speaker 1: but hey, look, if true big news true.
- 9:43Speaker 3: That is massive news. Congrats.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Yeah, if true, you'd say that about anything that's tis here.
- 9:50Speaker 4: This is exactly is Mogie's missus spragged up or w
- 9:53Speaker 4: t if is happening.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Well, she be not well exactly Inanks, Well, we don't know.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I know you are. Well, how could she be pregnant
- 10:00Speaker 1: if I'm shooting blink.
- 10:01Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I thought it was a miracle. But that's why I
- 10:03Speaker 1: was so excited. I was like, oh, congrats, because I
- 10:06Speaker 1: know you're shooting it, Blanks. Congrats. There's now that I'm
- 10:10Speaker 1: dead down there, k No, I know, I know you
- 10:15Speaker 1: are men, and we're not joking right now. You are like,
- 10:17Speaker 1: it is absolutely just rotten on the vine. Some more
- 10:31Speaker 1: ticks here on three four eight three. I don't know
- 10:33Speaker 1: where you got to kick me while I'm doing I'm
- 10:35Speaker 1: not kicking. I'm just confused me because you keep lying
- 10:37Speaker 1: to me about.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Well, you know, it's it's an amazing story because on
- 10:40Speaker 3: the one hand there's great joy and on the other
- 10:41Speaker 3: hand of this sadness there is.
- 10:45Speaker 1: It's not great joy. The whole thing's bullshit. I don't understand.
- 10:50Speaker 4: People are just texting through asking it like congrats, smogie, congratulations,
- 10:54Speaker 4: Oh my god, that's amazing.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Can you name it? Birdshit? Chris?
- 10:58Speaker 5: Are you going to adopt?
- 10:59Speaker 1: Keesy's bad? I'm not having a baby.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Oh god, I'm well you know who's the most indicible
- 11:05Speaker 4: of this pegsa Why is that he's filthy because he
- 11:09Speaker 4: believed you?
- 11:11Speaker 3: Well, I tell you what I mean. The old Big
- 11:14Speaker 3: Show family just grows and grows.
- 11:17Speaker 2: It's not happening The Haarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike
- 11:21Speaker 2: and Keyzy.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Tune in four on Radio.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Hoky Sound Garden. There on the Radio Hodarky Big Show
- 11:28Speaker 3: this Wednesday afternoon. The time is fourth thirty seven. And
- 11:32Speaker 3: as you know, Fellas, last night was my wife's opening
- 11:35Speaker 3: night of her play. Yeah, exciting times. I was actually
- 11:41Speaker 3: very nervous. I was more nervous for her than I
- 11:44Speaker 3: would be for myself doing a play.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Really, yeah, I think.
- 11:47Speaker 3: So, do you reckon?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Your nerves could have thrown her off? An No, I
- 11:51Speaker 1: think i'd be more nervous for myself.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Right, Okay, not because I thought you'd do a terrible job,
- 11:57Speaker 3: but because I just wanted her to do well.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Also, you've got no control.
- 12:01Speaker 3: I've got no control over it.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Yes, yes, and you always need control. Notice that about
- 12:05Speaker 4: you the other but for context too, for the audience.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Your wife is a very experienced actress, and she's been
- 12:11Speaker 4: acting for a long time, and this was her first
- 12:13Speaker 4: playback after quite a while, right, a long.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Time to get between plays, oh, jez as probably ten
- 12:19Speaker 3: years at least.
- 12:22Speaker 1: There was nothing to be nervous about because she is
- 12:24Speaker 1: a very experienced, a very good actor.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Well, yes, indeed, but I mean you know, I'm a catastrophizer. Yeah,
- 12:30Speaker 3: and so I always think of the worst case scenario
- 12:32Speaker 3: in any situation.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Keys, So in your brain, was she going out there
- 12:35Speaker 1: and straight away forgetting all of her.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Lines something like that? Yeah?
- 12:39Speaker 1: Or her husband sort of walked walked out midway through
- 12:41Speaker 1: the first act because he was desperate to go to
- 12:44Speaker 1: the toilet. Didn't go for a week before before the play.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Though, that may have happened. Yeah, but no, Look, it
- 12:51Speaker 3: was great and she did a fantastic job, and I
- 12:54Speaker 3: was very proud of her.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Did you cry?
- 12:56Speaker 4: No, I'm going to go see it this Friday, and Pugs,
- 13:01Speaker 4: I'd like to yeah as well, So we will do
- 13:04Speaker 4: a review of the play on Monday.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Yes, very excited. Anything else happened, any adventures?
- 13:09Speaker 3: Yes? And then we of course at the play ended. Look,
- 13:13Speaker 3: one of the criticisms I was about to say, eventually
- 13:17Speaker 3: it went a bit long, It went a bit long,
- 13:19Speaker 3: too much of your wife? No, yet I can't get
- 13:23Speaker 3: too much of my wife Keezy, don't get enough of it.
- 13:25Speaker 3: I can't get enough man. And there was an interval,
- 13:28Speaker 3: and I'm not a big fan of intervals. How long
- 13:30Speaker 3: are well you have to have sort of painful chit
- 13:32Speaker 3: chat with people? Fifteen minutes nothing, maybe even twenty even
- 13:39Speaker 3: oh wow, jeez. But anyway, and then we had the
- 13:42Speaker 3: sort of after show stuff and oh you were great, ah,
- 13:46Speaker 3: good stuff, and you know, you sort of kiss on
- 13:49Speaker 3: the cheek and chat and to all the people mobbing me.
- 13:52Speaker 3: And actually I had to do a little plug for
- 13:55Speaker 3: the show afterwards on sosh Med for them do that,
- 13:59Speaker 3: which I was happy to do. So anyway, I parked
- 14:03Speaker 3: down by the Titangi Library, which I parked many many
- 14:07Speaker 3: times before, and by this stage it was quarter to eleven,
- 14:11Speaker 3: and so I said goodbye to my wife because I
- 14:14Speaker 3: came separately from here, and I went down to the car,
- 14:16Speaker 3: got and the car was driving off, and as I
- 14:19Speaker 3: got to the exit, I noticed there were like three
- 14:22Speaker 3: or four cars ahead of me, and I was like, hang.
- 14:23Speaker 1: On hold her, hang about what.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Is going on here? And then I saw a woman
- 14:30Speaker 3: get out of her car and just gesticulate violently. She
- 14:36Speaker 3: was unhappy, so I got out of my No, she
- 14:39Speaker 3: wasn't doing that, Mogi. She got out of her car.
- 14:41Speaker 3: I got out of my car and we walked over
- 14:43Speaker 3: and there was a gate across the entrance, a gate
- 14:46Speaker 3: that was not visible when you went in. There were
- 14:49Speaker 3: no signs apart from I noticed today when I went
- 14:52Speaker 3: there to pick my car up. There was a small
- 14:55Speaker 3: sign in the corner of the car park, as all
- 14:58Speaker 3: signs are small for you though, Yeah, that's fair. But
- 15:02Speaker 3: this woman had been living in Telangi for forty years.
- 15:06Speaker 3: You got the run down, and she said, this has
- 15:08Speaker 3: I park here all the time. This has never happened
- 15:10Speaker 3: to me. So then she was Efan and Jeff and
- 15:13Speaker 3: she was very funny. It was one of the funniest
- 15:15Speaker 3: monologues I've ever seen on a phone. And she was
- 15:18Speaker 3: also a lawyer. She was like, I am gonna sue
- 15:21Speaker 3: the ass off Lenn Brown. Oh really in the library.
- 15:28Speaker 3: But then it was one of those classic scenarios of
- 15:30Speaker 3: no one answering the phone.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Yes, you know, it is like ten pm if you're if.
- 15:35Speaker 3: You're trapped in this situation, well, you know, if you're
- 15:37Speaker 3: locked and you call us on this number, No one answers.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I wouldn't answer either, No one answers. And so she's
- 15:42Speaker 3: effing and Jeff and there's about three or four people
- 15:45Speaker 3: behind me ifan and there's about seven people locked in there.
- 15:49Speaker 3: I was actually surprisingly chill because there was so much
- 15:53Speaker 3: effing and jeff and going on around me. It could
- 15:55Speaker 3: have sort of sucked it out of myself.
- 15:58Speaker 1: So they sucked all theF and Jeff.
- 16:00Speaker 3: They sucked all the effort. And I was literally laughing
- 16:03Speaker 3: at this woman. She was brilliant. She was just going off.
- 16:06Speaker 3: And then she eventually got hold of someone and they said, oh,
- 16:08Speaker 3: you just got to back off of it and it'll
- 16:10Speaker 3: automatically open. Ah, And so we all backed off and
- 16:15Speaker 3: it was like, that's so funny. That's not automatically going
- 16:18Speaker 3: to open. And then we looked underneath it and there
- 16:20Speaker 3: was a padlock on it. So it was padlocked. And
- 16:23Speaker 3: she was on the phone going, it didn't open, it's
- 16:26Speaker 3: got an ifing and buddy padlock on it, and oh
- 16:31Speaker 3: is it?
- 16:31Speaker 4: Oh?
- 16:31Speaker 1: Is it so in there?
- 16:33Speaker 3: And I just went bag of this and I texted
- 16:36Speaker 3: my wife and went home with her fellows. Yeah, at
- 16:39Speaker 3: about twenty past eleven, I was filthy ruin my evening.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I hope you were in the car on the
- 16:46Speaker 1: way home with your wife and ruined the evening for her,
- 16:49Speaker 1: did you?
- 16:49Speaker 3: Yeah? Totally, man, That's all I talked about.
- 16:53Speaker 1: What book did you get out from the library? Karma Sutra?
- 17:01Speaker 3: I already know all those ones.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Moggi Parking for Dummies.
- 17:11Speaker 2: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Darkey Tom Pitty. There on the radio, ho Donkey Big
- 17:17Speaker 3: Show this Wednesday afternoon. The time is four forty nine.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Let's talk TV.
- 17:24Speaker 1: What's on the.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Yes, you can see that starts last night. I watched
- 17:39Speaker 1: Murder and Monaco on Netflix. It's a documentary. I've seen that.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Have you seen that the trailers for it? Ah? Yeah,
- 17:46Speaker 1: it's pretty good. It's a banking billionaire scumbig with billions
- 17:51Speaker 1: of dollars there in there. There's a fire in his apartment,
- 17:57Speaker 1: which is only a five story higher partment in Monaco, right,
- 18:01Speaker 1: so you don't have to pay any tax, scumbag. So
- 18:04Speaker 1: he's got the penthouse apartment in this joint five story building,
- 18:09Speaker 1: twenty three story underground car park. Wow, unbelieva.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Why are they doing that.
- 18:15Speaker 1: We didn't get into it because they were talking about
- 18:16Speaker 1: the murder. I thought that was very interesting, very interesting. Indeed,
- 18:20Speaker 1: it should be the other way around, am I right?
- 18:24Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 18:25Speaker 3: Well? No, then then you wouldn't have any car space.
- 18:27Speaker 1: No, but how is five floors worth of people? I
- 18:31Speaker 1: can only think that each of them are are collectors
- 18:33Speaker 1: of and there there are.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Multi billionaires, so they've probably got about six cars.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Can I say dog squad money dogs?
- 18:41Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 18:41Speaker 3: Sure.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Anyway, this fellow there's intruders. He goes into his safe room,
- 18:48Speaker 1: his panic room. There's a fire, the fire department is called.
- 18:52Speaker 1: It takes them three hours. They stand outside for three
- 18:55Speaker 1: hours while the building's on fire before they decide to
- 18:57Speaker 1: go in. It is and then it gets it all
- 19:00Speaker 1: gets pinned on a male nurse that is there because
- 19:03Speaker 1: the guy is quite elderly. And there's lots of twists
- 19:06Speaker 1: and turns because maybe it was the wife that's planned
- 19:09Speaker 1: the whole thing. Now. The wife is her fourth marriage
- 19:13Speaker 1: and her second husband, also a billionaire. He died in
- 19:18Speaker 1: suspicious circumstances. When it was ruled that he died of
- 19:22Speaker 1: a suicide after he shot himself. That sounds fine, except
- 19:28Speaker 1: that he shot himself in the chest twice. Yeah right, okay,
- 19:32Speaker 1: But and the other the weird thing about her is
- 19:35Speaker 1: why does she need to then shack up with another
- 19:38Speaker 1: billionaire if she's just inherited lots of money from a billy.
- 19:41Speaker 1: This may come as a shock to you, man, but
- 19:43Speaker 1: women need love to No, No, it's not about the love.
- 19:45Speaker 4: It's just like if she was intentionally murdering this guy,
- 19:50Speaker 4: you know what I mean.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Well, this is the fact. Well, this is all part
- 19:53Speaker 1: of the mystery. Anyway, we get to the end of
- 19:56Speaker 1: it and there is another pretty huge twist in the tale.
- 20:00Speaker 1: It's really great because it's in Monaco. It's a stunning place.
- 20:03Speaker 1: There's Russian mafia, there's heaps of cash, there's old weird
- 20:07Speaker 1: looking woman that have had too much playersic surgery. Yeah.
- 20:10Speaker 1: I give it three and a half three and a
- 20:12Speaker 1: half buzzies out of a possible five. On Netflix. It's
- 20:15Speaker 1: called Murder in Monaco.
- 20:17Speaker 3: And the male nurse is a bit of a dodgy
- 20:20Speaker 3: character too.
- 20:20Speaker 1: He's a weird looking human. Have you seen it? Yes,
- 20:23Speaker 1: it's a He is a weird looking dude, and immediately
- 20:26Speaker 1: you think to yourself, he did it and then the
- 20:28Speaker 1: whole bunch of other stuff comes out and you're like,
- 20:30Speaker 1: he didn't do it. He's a green beretkeazy ad bastard.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Yeah. Man, well, obviously, Fellows, I didn't watch TV last night.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I was watching my wife How many buzzies? Five?
- 20:42Speaker 1: Nice play?
- 20:43Speaker 3: Obviously last night I watched the first time he doesn't
- 20:46Speaker 3: have five buzzies?
- 20:47Speaker 1: No, I no, because no human has five buzzies?
- 20:54Speaker 3: Do you know that?
- 20:56Speaker 1: Yes? Well, I'm very broadly speaking. I don't think based
- 20:59Speaker 1: on your experience, based on my experiences.
- 21:02Speaker 3: I want you to google it after this segment. What
- 21:04Speaker 3: I want you to google? Has anyone ever had five buzzies?
- 21:07Speaker 1: Google it? I'm not going to gurgle it. Oh google it?
- 21:12Speaker 1: What was I saying? Think about something? Yeah, I don't
- 21:15Speaker 1: worry about it. I'll tell you about it tomorrow.
- 21:20Speaker 2: The whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 21:23Speaker 2: tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 21:26Speaker 3: I can welcome back your massive backbones. I hope you're
- 21:28Speaker 3: hum day's going off. You are, in fact listening to
- 21:30Speaker 3: the Big Show, brought to you by Toledos.

- 21:42Speaker 1: Now you're drinking.
- 21:47Speaker 2: That.
- 21:47Speaker 1: I don't think it works without I think all of
- 21:50Speaker 1: those have to be in there. So I think the
- 21:51Speaker 1: way to do it is that all three of us
- 21:53Speaker 1: just yelled something.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Yeah, just a reminder, feel as if you want to
- 22:03Speaker 4: wrap your lips around a delicious Toledo's drink Fresh Choice. Nationwide,

- 22:28Speaker 1: that something as well? Is it done and dust? It
- 22:30Speaker 1: feels like it's nothing?
- 22:31Speaker 3: Yeah, that that really works for me. That one. Actually
- 22:33Speaker 3: I'm going to give yes, Hey you now, kezy, what
- 22:40Speaker 3: have we got coming up next? Because I'm sure undecided
- 22:42Speaker 3: on this? Are we talking Mogi's cow. Are we talking
- 22:46Speaker 3: radio awards?
- 22:46Speaker 1: I think we should get into these radio awards. Yeah,
- 22:49Speaker 1: well because I just want clarity around what you guys submitted. Yes,
- 22:51Speaker 1: because your business, to be honest. But well, I mean,
- 22:54Speaker 1: I'm part of the shop.
- 22:55Speaker 3: We'll just leave it to the big guns. You want
- 22:57Speaker 3: to be the big guns, the little guys. You know,
- 23:00Speaker 3: we know we've got the experience. We know what the
- 23:03Speaker 3: judge is like. You know. So right, okay, you know,
- 23:06Speaker 3: well we'll look after you, mate.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Don't worry about how many radio awards have you won? Um,
- 23:13Speaker 1: I know the answer. The answer is zero.
- 23:15Speaker 3: It's quite unbelievable, really, isn't it.
- 23:17Speaker 1: It's bullshit, is what it is.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Yeah, So we'll go through what we are, what we
- 23:21Speaker 4: put forward this year, because I just want to make
- 23:22Speaker 4: sure we're entering the right categories and we're doing the
- 23:24Speaker 4: right stuff.
- 23:25Speaker 3: But I've got an honorary doctorate in radio.
- 23:28Speaker 1: It's not a doctor, it's a diplomat you go to
- 23:30Speaker 1: once you learned how to turn it on.
- 23:32Speaker 3: So call me doctor Hoyt please. The meantime, he's.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Kings of Leon the Hilarchy.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Big show was Jason, Mike and keyzy Tune in on
- 23:42Speaker 2: Radio Holarky.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Yes, indeed, Allison Chain's here on the radio Hodarchy Big
- 23:46Speaker 3: Show this Wednesday afternoon. The time is five point thirteen,
- 23:49Speaker 3: and we need a show meeting. Show meet, show show me.
- 23:55Speaker 3: The meeting show meeting is now in progress.
- 24:01Speaker 4: I appreciate you guys coming to this meeting. Just a
- 24:05Speaker 4: bit a big show edmind involving the radio awards. Now,
- 24:08Speaker 4: the radio Awards come up later in the year, but
- 24:10Speaker 4: they were all due last week. Yes, you guys said
- 24:13Speaker 4: that you would take on the sort of the admin
- 24:15Speaker 4: and the running of the actual submissions when it comes
- 24:17Speaker 4: to what we are entering.
- 24:19Speaker 1: That's right, as you pointed out earlier, because we've never
- 24:21Speaker 1: run won a radio award. And Jason and I were
- 24:25Speaker 1: having a chair of their weekly meeting and decided it
- 24:29Speaker 1: was probably because we haven't been in charge of what
- 24:31Speaker 1: actually goes in right, okay, but we haven't had our
- 24:35Speaker 1: sort of our fingerprints on the quality control of those submissions.
- 24:39Speaker 3: And absolutely and all fearness to Pugson. I mean, he
- 24:44Speaker 3: works as ours off, but he you know, he he's
- 24:51Speaker 3: just sometimes can be able to show just a bit
- 24:53Speaker 3: stew with that's all, just a bit, you know, it's
- 24:57Speaker 3: just on.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but PC, god man, what are you talking about?
- 25:01Speaker 3: Right?
- 25:01Speaker 1: Okay? Well that's fine. And to be honest, I think
- 25:04Speaker 1: that's great that you guys are taking more of an
- 25:05Speaker 1: interest in our submissions. It's great. I just want to
- 25:07Speaker 1: know what did we enter? For example, best segment that's
- 25:11Speaker 1: a pretty hotly contested one.
- 25:13Speaker 5: We did.
- 25:13Speaker 1: We into that, we did? We did? That one was
- 25:17Speaker 1: What's on the Tea with Me? Dinner with Me Kesey
- 25:22Speaker 1: and that one that's the one where people call in
- 25:25Speaker 1: or texting sorry with what they're having for dinner. You
- 25:28Speaker 1: read them out off the text machine and then Jason
- 25:31Speaker 1: and I bag it.
- 25:33Speaker 3: And to be honest with your Keysy, I'm quietly confident
- 25:36Speaker 3: on that one because it used.
- 25:38Speaker 1: To be.
- 25:40Speaker 4: What's for Tea New Zealand with Me? Key, That's what
- 25:43Speaker 4: we should have entered, because that makes more sense. No,
- 25:45Speaker 4: but we've entered that before and it got nowhere get
- 25:48Speaker 4: a finalists, So we've sort of played with the name
- 25:51Speaker 4: of it over the last five and a half years.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Can you believe it? And yeah, we think we're on
- 25:56Speaker 1: to a winner.
- 25:58Speaker 4: You can't into everything, Kezy, Okay, that's not a Tea
- 26:02Speaker 4: with Me dinner with Me keasy. Yeah, that just doesn't
- 26:05Speaker 4: make any sense though, okay, flat, okay, who kids, that's great.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Just for the record, I would have entered Meet Patting
- 26:10Speaker 4: sixty nine because it's a great segment. We've got heaps
- 26:13Speaker 4: of advice and it's got a cool sing song.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the thing.
- 26:17Speaker 4: So that just reinforces that we were in the right
- 26:19Speaker 4: to take to take the right exactly what best sting? Now,
- 26:24Speaker 4: best thing is a big one. If you don't know
- 26:27Speaker 4: what a sting is. For example, this is a sting,
- 26:33Speaker 4: a little very good one. But yes, okay, because that
- 26:35Speaker 4: was actually the one I was going to enter.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Again, pads just a little bit skew if on that one,
- 26:40Speaker 3: but that's that.
- 26:45Speaker 1: This is the one that we entered here, very very good.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Nailed it.
- 26:54Speaker 1: It's literally just the word is no. But it sounds
- 26:57Speaker 1: like it's in a huge auditorium or of inside, so
- 27:03Speaker 1: it's echoing.
- 27:04Speaker 4: But like you can see how other radio stations and
- 27:07Speaker 4: shows are putting forward all these really elaborate ones, and
- 27:09Speaker 4: all we're putting forward is.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Ju simplicity is key keysy, But what.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Do you mean? The name of my last segment is
- 27:17Speaker 1: what's on the dinner with me, tea with me, Keysy,
- 27:20Speaker 1: that's not simple. We've got a ring to it. Did
- 27:24Speaker 1: we at least into Pugs and Producer of the Year.
- 27:28Speaker 4: He's got a long and fruitful career in front of him.
- 27:31Speaker 4: I just it's right, So we didn't even enter him.
- 27:34Speaker 4: It's just what are you saying that you want to
- 27:37Speaker 4: into him? Key, I mean if you want to inter Pegs,
- 27:42Speaker 4: I want to Interpa, you want to inter into the radio.
- 27:44Speaker 3: That's between you and Pugs?
- 27:45Speaker 1: All right? No, did we okay? Did we go for
- 27:50Speaker 1: best feel good moment?
- 27:51Speaker 3: Yes? We did?
- 27:52Speaker 1: That was easy. Okay, Well, what the hell did we
- 27:55Speaker 1: inter for that?
- 27:55Speaker 3: Because well, isn't it obvious? What your baby announcement?
- 27:59Speaker 2: I'm not having a The Whole Archy Big Show weekdays
- 28:03Speaker 2: from four on Radio hod Ike.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Hit a bush for your Wednesday afternoon. Now, Muggie's had
- 28:09Speaker 3: a bit of a car nightmare. Moggie, why don't you
- 28:13Speaker 3: reinform the audience of your dilemma thus far?
- 28:17Speaker 4: That's a great idea, Jays. Yeah, so we've got a
- 28:20Speaker 4: Toyota e Que. Everybody loves them, hatchback most stolen car
- 28:24Speaker 4: in the whole country for a reason.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, just great. Great car.
- 28:28Speaker 4: We've had it for about five minutes when the battery
- 28:30Speaker 4: shared itself, so we had to do an insurance job
- 28:33Speaker 4: get a new battery. The insurance company would only give
- 28:36Speaker 4: us a refurbished battery instead of a new one. We
- 28:38Speaker 4: wanted a new one, obviously, they just gave us an
- 28:40Speaker 4: old one, yes, well, a refurbished one, and that had
- 28:44Speaker 4: a twelve month warranty on it, and then the battery
- 28:47Speaker 4: bug it out after thirteen months, so we took the
- 28:51Speaker 4: insurance company to small claims court. And while we've gone
- 28:54Speaker 4: through that process, we parked the car up outside of
- 28:56Speaker 4: mate's place, who then promptly went away.
- 28:59Speaker 1: To work on a film for five months. And my
- 29:03Speaker 1: wife then a couple of weeks ago last week, went
- 29:06Speaker 1: to get something out of the car and found it
- 29:07Speaker 1: was gone. She called me and said, the car's gone.
- 29:09Speaker 1: I said, well, hopefully it's stolen, but it might have
- 29:11Speaker 1: been toad. So she looked into it a little bit
- 29:15Speaker 1: further and it turns out that because the car had
- 29:17Speaker 1: been sitting there for as long as it had, Auckland
- 29:21Speaker 1: Transports sold it, yes, and kept all the money.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Unbelievable.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I've never heard of this as bullshit. So My question
- 29:30Speaker 1: is why didn't they email us? Why didn't you see it?
- 29:34Speaker 4: Seems crazy because I'd have all your details. They have
- 29:36Speaker 4: your registration, they have your full name. Yes, you know,
- 29:39Speaker 4: like your details would be in the system.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Thank you, keyser. Yeah, right, well we've got some bit
- 29:44Speaker 1: more information has come through on this one. So, as
- 29:47Speaker 1: it turns out, parking Warden attended the vehicle, issued infringements
- 29:52Speaker 1: for expired registration and warrnt of fitness, and applied chalk
- 29:56Speaker 1: tied chalk mark. So that's probably a fine of about
- 29:58Speaker 1: four hundred bucks it is that we're looking at there.
- 30:00Speaker 1: So that was on the twentieth of October last year.
- 30:03Speaker 1: A month later, the abandoned vehicle investigator visited the vehicle
- 30:07Speaker 1: and applied yellow notices to both the front and rear
- 30:09Speaker 1: of the vehicle. Right, are those that to tell you
- 30:11Speaker 1: to get in touch and just make sure, you know,
- 30:13Speaker 1: let them know that in fact, it hasn't been a band.
- 30:15Speaker 1: And of course we didn't know that those are been
- 30:17Speaker 1: I mean, how we meant he's away, he would have
- 30:20Speaker 1: spotted up, he would have spotted it, but he didn't
- 30:21Speaker 1: spot it because he wasn't there. Then he comes back
- 30:24Speaker 1: another month later, and finds that the vehicle still in
- 30:26Speaker 1: the same location with no change to its registration status. Well,
- 30:29Speaker 1: how could it if we didn't know. Yeah, we're having
- 30:32Speaker 1: an argument with an insurance company. We can't get a
- 30:34Speaker 1: warrant toy registration until we sort of that out, so
- 30:37Speaker 1: then they toe it. Then they run an ad. So
- 30:42Speaker 1: the best way to get in touch with people is
- 30:43Speaker 1: to run an ad in the New Zealand Herald, because
- 30:47Speaker 1: that's how you find these things out. The vehicle was
- 30:50Speaker 1: advertising the New Zealand Herald in an attempt to contact
- 30:54Speaker 1: the owner. Really, there was an ad in the Herald. Yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 1: there's an ad the old old Mogie's broken equip It
- 31:03Speaker 1: was so funny it was famous.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Now.
- 31:05Speaker 1: They also said they sent a couple of letters to
- 31:08Speaker 1: our address to let us know. Right, okay, good, but
- 31:10Speaker 1: we've moved. So how is your address? CAZy? You didn't
- 31:15Speaker 1: put the mail forwarding on casey? What whose side are
- 31:18Speaker 1: you on?
- 31:18Speaker 3: Man?
- 31:19Speaker 1: Yeah? Sorry, man, sorry, okay, it's just it's just starting
- 31:21Speaker 1: get a clear picture of who's that fault here is all. Then,
- 31:24Speaker 1: on the sixteenth of January, after being held in strow
- 31:28Speaker 1: for thirty five days excluding public holidays, the vehicle was
- 31:32Speaker 1: sold to an improved and dismantled it for part's got
- 31:36Speaker 1: seven eight one hundred and seventy back throat. Total costs
- 31:41Speaker 1: incurred for storing the vehicle and for the advertising in
- 31:46Speaker 1: the New Zealand Hera, which is so random, came to
- 31:49Speaker 1: one nine twenty dollars and forty seven cents, leaving Auckland
- 31:53Speaker 1: Transport at a loss of one hundred and sixty dollars
- 31:55Speaker 1: and forty seven cents. So there's a small victory there.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Yeah, true, so far out what a plava?
- 32:04Speaker 1: It is a plava? I will say, Look should my
- 32:07Speaker 1: wife and look we're not going to point the finger
- 32:10Speaker 1: of blame it anyone. Should my wife have changed the
- 32:15Speaker 1: address for the vehicle? Sure? Well shouldn't you have done
- 32:18Speaker 1: that as well? I mean why is it your wife?
- 32:20Speaker 1: I mean especially that's a good point too, But just
- 32:22Speaker 1: as an example, Yeah, should my wife have changed the address?
- 32:26Speaker 1: Sure that's easy to say. But what didn't it also
- 32:29Speaker 1: have been easy to use the email address attached rather
- 32:31Speaker 1: than run an add in the New Zealand Herald for
- 32:33Speaker 1: two days fellas? Yes, So I'm calling on Mayor Leonard
- 32:39Speaker 1: Brown to come down here into this studio and look
- 32:45Speaker 1: me in the eye and tell me that he thinks
- 32:46Speaker 1: he's fair. This is fair because apparently this guy Leonard
- 32:50Speaker 1: is a man of the people. Leonard what's his name,
- 32:53Speaker 1: Len Leonard? Yeah, is a man of the people. And
- 32:56Speaker 1: if he thinks this is fair and not bureaucratic nonsense,
- 32:59Speaker 1: I'd like to hear it from the man himself. So
- 33:01Speaker 1: anybody out there that knows Leonard, you tell him. Actually,
- 33:04Speaker 1: isn't his name Wayne? Wait, his name is Wayne Brown?
- 33:09Speaker 1: Who's Lynn Brown? He used to be a Mira while ago. Oh,
- 33:12Speaker 1: he's the guy that had them. So I'd like to
- 33:17Speaker 1: get Wayne down here for it. I'll be open having
- 33:19Speaker 1: a chat with Leonard. You get Lynn down here too.
- 33:22Speaker 1: An absolute disgrace. A man's a man's car sold out
- 33:25Speaker 1: from under him. In this day and age, it still
- 33:28Speaker 1: seems like you should put the mail forwarding on. But well,
- 33:31Speaker 1: I'll tell you, man, but I'm not PC up next
- 33:36Speaker 1: to Liam Dan by the way to chat stocks and Kiva.
- 33:39Speaker 2: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Four on Radio Hodarchy is.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Indeed cake there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show. This
- 33:47Speaker 3: Wednesday afternoon, We've got Lim Dan, Editor at at large,
- 33:51Speaker 3: Business editor at large for the New Zealand Herald. And
- 33:54Speaker 3: the reason we've got you in, Liam is because I'm
- 33:57Speaker 3: concerned about the markets at the moment.
- 33:59Speaker 5: Yeah, well there's a good reason he's concerned. It's it's
- 34:02Speaker 5: a it's a worrying time.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a very volatile time, it is.
- 34:07Speaker 4: And what's interesting about this is because my wife and
- 34:10Speaker 4: I'm sure a lot of our listeners are the same.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Sorry, Liam.
- 34:17Speaker 4: She has a Cheers He's account and every week she puts,
- 34:20Speaker 4: you know, a little bit of money aside and then
- 34:22Speaker 4: puts into cheers E's and is like growing a little
- 34:23Speaker 4: nestyic there, which is great. And her attitude towards everything
- 34:26Speaker 4: that's happening at the moment is it's a long play anyway,
- 34:29Speaker 4: this is what she is. Are you hold onto them
- 34:31Speaker 4: for a long time? Whereas Jace, you've got a shares
- 34:34Speaker 4: account with billions of dollars in it by the sounds
- 34:36Speaker 4: of it.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say billion,
- 34:38Speaker 3: hundreds of thousands.
- 34:40Speaker 5: Are you trading?
- 34:41Speaker 4: Are you sort of wheeling cham Yeah, yeah, he's doing Cheers's.
- 34:47Speaker 4: But while my wife is being very like, no, it's
- 34:49Speaker 4: all about long term, so don't panic Jase is very
- 34:52Speaker 4: much freaking out.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Yeah, don't look at your KEYI saver maybe right now
- 34:58Speaker 5: that's Cheers's, but they take your anyway.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Well, the thing is with me, I'm what you'd call
- 35:03Speaker 3: a bit of a rogue investor, you know. I like
- 35:06Speaker 3: your high return, your high risk type scenario. For example,
- 35:12Speaker 3: I invested in a company, Dilly's Dongs and Thongs.
- 35:18Speaker 1: How much did you put into that?
- 35:20Speaker 3: It was just a small investment. It was about one
- 35:22Speaker 3: hundred k.
- 35:23Speaker 1: It's more sweet equity as well.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was a very volatile one hundred k,
- 35:28Speaker 3: and that was about two weeks ago. I've already lost
- 35:30Speaker 3: fifty Well.
- 35:31Speaker 5: I mean we've been the plastics industry. It is very
- 35:34Speaker 5: exposed to the petroleum. Yes, and then the other issue,
- 35:39Speaker 5: of course, you get jasons.
- 35:40Speaker 1: You see the sort of the events that are happening
- 35:42Speaker 1: in the Middle East, and some can see them as
- 35:45Speaker 1: you know, some see it as a humanitarian crisis, where
- 35:49Speaker 1: others could see it as an opportunity. Jay saw it
- 35:52Speaker 1: as an opportunity and put forty thousand dollars into land mines. Yeah,
- 35:57Speaker 1: but of course they haven't been using those.
- 35:59Speaker 5: So just just just going sideways on the land mines.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, Well I tossed up between land mines and
- 36:07Speaker 3: sea mines, and I went land the problem and it
- 36:11Speaker 3: was like forty thousand on that and then if you.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Dropped a ten if you went to Sea. I also, I've.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Also invested in another coming because I'm outside the magic
- 36:21Speaker 3: Mercans and because I thought, you know, again a kind
- 36:25Speaker 3: of rogue Americans like a fake pubic hair.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Like a wig for your pup, for your pubes.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, it's like a hair hat for your genitals, right,
- 36:37Speaker 3: I mean you don't put it on your genitals top.
- 36:41Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, like a hat.
- 36:43Speaker 5: Shouldn't that be recession proof?
- 36:45Speaker 3: Well you would think so, Liam. But in all honesty,
- 36:49Speaker 3: and on a serious note for a second, you know,
- 36:53Speaker 3: I've seen and I've got a very small investment in cheesies,
- 36:56Speaker 3: but I have seen a massive drop in the valley
- 37:00Speaker 3: of shares. Is it a situation now where I just
- 37:03Speaker 3: sell up, just go get out of there before it
- 37:05Speaker 3: all comes tumbling down.
- 37:08Speaker 5: I think Keasy's wife got it right. I mean, you know,
- 37:12Speaker 5: don't panic is good. That's a good rule almost for anything, right,
- 37:15Speaker 5: But yes, there's never really a good reason to panic.
- 37:18Speaker 5: You can be concerned and you can worry. And but
- 37:21Speaker 5: you know, the big variable is nobody knows how long
- 37:26Speaker 5: mister Trump is going to want to keep this war going. Yes,
- 37:29Speaker 5: and that's that's what's spooking people, you know.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it stone like uncertainty, Liam.
- 37:34Speaker 5: No, nobody does really. I mean we always say that
- 37:36Speaker 5: in business, but I.
- 37:37Speaker 3: Thrive on uncertainty. Actually, we'll hold it there and we'll
- 37:40Speaker 3: come back.
- 37:41Speaker 2: The Hilarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 37:45Speaker 2: in on.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Radio the Strokes there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 37:50Speaker 3: this Wednesday evening. We've got Liam Dan, business editor at
- 37:54Speaker 3: Large from the New Zealand Herald. Because you know, it's
- 37:56Speaker 3: a very volatile time in the world at the moment,
- 37:59Speaker 3: particularly the financial markets. And we were just talking off
- 38:02Speaker 3: here before Liam and Kesey was saying that his wife,
- 38:06Speaker 3: she's very particular. She does her research. She looks into
- 38:10Speaker 3: every company that she invests in, whereas I just go
- 38:13Speaker 3: off the gut my instinct.
- 38:16Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, just gut field, gut field, Yeah, the vibe
- 38:20Speaker 5: if you will. Well, look, this is a good point
- 38:22Speaker 5: just to say that it's illegal for me to give
- 38:25Speaker 5: financial advice here. I can't. I'm not going to not
- 38:28Speaker 5: endorse that. I mean, you know, right, yeah, yeah, but
- 38:31Speaker 5: you know, if you may financial markets authorities listening, you.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Could be in trouble. Talk to your.
- 38:38Speaker 5: Financial advisor.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Yeah yeah.
- 38:40Speaker 4: People will take this, They were, well Jason's Jason's trick
- 38:44Speaker 4: is with his GAT whatever is Gas says he does
- 38:47Speaker 4: the opposite because he knows his can't be trusted.
- 38:51Speaker 1: His GAT is well known has been a total idiot.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Well, particularly Liam, if I've just had like some spicy dumplings,
- 38:58Speaker 3: I'm not trusting the gay at any point.
- 39:03Speaker 1: But so is that true?
- 39:04Speaker 3: Then you can't actually give advice in your position.
- 39:09Speaker 5: You can do analysis and commentary. But they're very cool,
- 39:11Speaker 5: you know, because they don't want me spooking some some
- 39:14Speaker 5: stock and trading off the back of it or something
- 39:18Speaker 5: like that. So I don't really trade stocks. I'm, you know,
- 39:22Speaker 5: pretty conservative.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Sort of missionary meat and two potatoes sort of stuff.
- 39:31Speaker 1: When I think of Lillam Dan, it's what I think. Liam.
- 39:35Speaker 4: While we've got you here, do you think in uncertain
- 39:37Speaker 4: times like this, it's a good time to look into
- 39:40Speaker 4: alternative investment areas, for example, instead of your shear markets
- 39:45Speaker 4: and your real estate et cetera, et cetera, buying something
- 39:49Speaker 4: that could be collectable one day that is in short supply, Like,
- 39:52Speaker 4: for example, I know someone who just spent over one
- 39:54Speaker 4: thousand dollars on a limited edition Lego set.
- 39:58Speaker 1: That's you know what I mean things like that. You know,
- 40:00Speaker 1: have you heard much about that area of a mystic?
- 40:03Speaker 5: Does that?
- 40:03Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 40:03Speaker 5: Look, I mean that stuff always seems to go up,
- 40:05Speaker 5: doesn't it. I mean that's that stuff's tied to the
- 40:09Speaker 5: collapse of everything, right, Like, so as long as everything
- 40:13Speaker 5: doesn't go all mad Max, then you're going to have,
- 40:15Speaker 5: like you know, people who click sneakers and Lego and that.
- 40:19Speaker 5: That's probably all pretty good.
- 40:20Speaker 1: But what about non fungible tokens? Also as.
- 40:27Speaker 5: Give you guys, get those cartoon monkeys.
- 40:29Speaker 1: I've been about four hundred thousand on one of those
- 40:32Speaker 1: bastards and now it's worth eight seeds. It'll go back though,
- 40:35Speaker 1: it'll come back, Jack Paul wants it.
- 40:38Speaker 3: What about animal pelts, Well, that's part of the Mrkan
- 40:43Speaker 3: Well certainly I tell you what. You guys may chuckle
- 40:47Speaker 3: and laugh at that, but the old mercan industry and
- 40:50Speaker 3: the pelt industry. Your fake hairs, your animal hairs, you're
- 40:53Speaker 3: going off and You'll always have you know, fake here
- 40:57Speaker 3: and animal here in the world, won't.
- 40:59Speaker 1: You, specially from Murgi. He was a hare hat.
- 41:02Speaker 5: He does not tied to the petroleum industry. You know,
- 41:05Speaker 5: that's where we're seeing a lot of volatility. So there,
- 41:07Speaker 5: you know a lot of petrol. And yeah, Lego's plastic.
- 41:09Speaker 5: This may be an issue, but that if you've already
- 41:12Speaker 5: bought it.
- 41:12Speaker 1: But you've already I just want to know that I'm
- 41:15Speaker 1: the guy you know.
- 41:16Speaker 5: How to play with him, you know that they're going
- 41:18Speaker 5: to stay in the box.
- 41:19Speaker 4: I genuinely did buy three weeks ago a limited edition
- 41:22Speaker 4: Pokemon Lego set for a thousand bucks.
- 41:24Speaker 1: For a thousand bucks, well that's good to know.
- 41:26Speaker 5: Nothing nothing cooler than a dad with a Lego collection
- 41:29Speaker 5: that kids aren't allowed to touch.
- 41:31Speaker 3: Yeah, allowed to play.
- 41:32Speaker 1: With shooting blanks. But I agree that Lego is an
- 41:38Speaker 1: incredible investment because we are going to begin our money's
- 41:41Speaker 1: worth out of that over the next twelve months on
- 41:43Speaker 1: this show, Brother.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Liam Dan, business editor at Large for New Zealand. Here, Well,
- 41:51Speaker 3: thanks for your advice, mate, Yeah, good luck. I'm going
- 41:53Speaker 3: to sell up.
- 41:56Speaker 2: The actual big show with Mike and week days at
- 42:01Speaker 2: four on Radio hod.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Ike, Welcome back your messive backbones. Hope your Wednesday's going off.
- 42:05Speaker 3: You're listening to the big show brought to you by Toledos.
- 42:09Speaker 4: Why pause your thirst, defeat it with Toledos. Drink it
- 42:12Speaker 4: with your mouth more like young Lidos. You're gonna do
- 42:18Speaker 4: on as well.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Now you're drinking.
- 42:20Speaker 1: No, that's an old one. Come on, man, are you
- 42:23Speaker 1: into this or not?
- 42:24Speaker 3: I've already nailed it. I mean you two are the
- 42:26Speaker 3: ones struggling.
- 42:28Speaker 1: What did you mean now?
- 42:29Speaker 3: Those two attempts were pathetic?
- 42:32Speaker 1: More like young Lidos, I reckon, that's great. What did
- 42:34Speaker 1: you say?
- 42:36Speaker 3: You can't even remember? It was so pointless.
- 42:38Speaker 1: I blacked out and everyone was when I came to,
- 42:40Speaker 1: everyone was just loving. It was human one.
- 42:47Speaker 3: Out of ten busies for both of those.
- 42:49Speaker 4: Jace, you get see this is a problem. This is
- 42:52Speaker 4: all stem from this whole Come down with me. Think
- 42:55Speaker 4: Jace's got a taste for what it's like to give out.
- 42:57Speaker 4: Terrible's got the power, He's got the power. Now he's
- 42:59Speaker 4: tripping on it.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Who's a shocking.
- 43:01Speaker 3: I'm just taking the power back, fellows.
- 43:04Speaker 1: No you're not. You're getting carried away with it.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Now, listen. I was going to tell a story about
- 43:10Speaker 3: this lovely woman that I met in the supermarket.
- 43:13Speaker 1: That's what's coming up next.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Feeling you guys are going to take the absolute pest here.
- 43:17Speaker 1: No, I want to hear about it. Not only do
- 43:20Speaker 1: I want to hear, I know that you've been talking
- 43:23Speaker 1: to our boss Toddy about it and he said it
- 43:26Speaker 1: was an absolute gem. He told me that he did.
- 43:30Speaker 1: What of Jason's yarns far out? You've got to tell it, man, Jace,
- 43:35Speaker 1: you have to tell this simply, so that's up next.
- 43:38Speaker 1: I don't want to sex out of ten yarn either.
- 43:40Speaker 1: I want like a yeah, this is I'm excited as
- 43:44Speaker 1: long as it's some kind of hoidy j best in
- 43:48Speaker 1: the world, a number one sort of a set up, yeah,
- 43:50Speaker 1: or like a strange encounter with like a bit of
- 43:52Speaker 1: a kooky person, you know, that's what I'm after, or
- 43:55Speaker 1: a combination of the two. Yeah, it's a nice ship.
- 43:58Speaker 3: By the way, man is a red hot Chili Peppers.
- 44:01Speaker 2: What the Harchy Big Show was? Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune.
- 44:07Speaker 3: In on Stereophonics here on the radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 44:13Speaker 3: this Wednesday evening. The time is twelve minutes past six o'clock. Failers. Jeez.
- 44:21Speaker 3: Pretty crazy thing happened to me in the supermarket the
- 44:24Speaker 3: other day.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Was it a strange encounter?
- 44:26Speaker 3: A lovely encounter? Strange encounters of the whiting. So I
- 44:36Speaker 3: was in the supermarket and I bought some some buns,
- 44:43Speaker 3: some wipes, not for me for the like the bench,
- 44:47Speaker 3: the buns, and a few other little bits and pieces
- 44:52Speaker 3: that we needed, keys around the place, odds and sods,
- 44:55Speaker 3: mogie and anyway, I was going up here and in
- 44:58Speaker 3: the CBDA. It's a bit different at this supermarket because
- 45:03Speaker 3: there's no tellers. It's all self served. Oh yeah, because
- 45:06Speaker 3: there's a slightly more sophisticated kind of people. And the
- 45:10Speaker 3: CBDs self serving people like you, you know, where you
- 45:13Speaker 3: just serve yourself.
- 45:15Speaker 1: I can see why you moved there.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Anyway, I was in the self service area, serving yourself,
- 45:21Speaker 3: serving myself, when all of a sudden, out of the blue,
- 45:27Speaker 3: I noticed the lady next to me. She knocked over
- 45:29Speaker 3: her little carrier there and all her stuff fell on
- 45:33Speaker 3: the ground. And so I, being the gentleman that I am,
- 45:41Speaker 3: when I and said, oh, let me help you. And
- 45:43Speaker 3: I was picking up all her stuff and putting it
- 45:46Speaker 3: back in her little carrier there basket her basket, um,
- 45:51Speaker 3: and she said, oh, thank you, thank you. And then
- 45:54Speaker 3: she looked up at me and she said to me, oh,
- 45:58Speaker 3: you're a very hents men. Then what happened is that
- 46:11Speaker 3: the and I went, oh, thank you, that's very kind.
- 46:16Speaker 3: Say hang on, it's more than kind.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Well, she's just.
- 46:21Speaker 4: So you.
- 46:22Speaker 1: What you've done is you've taken up a radio break
- 46:24Speaker 1: to tell us a story about someone saying you're handsome.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Well, I just said it was quite cute.
- 46:31Speaker 1: What part of it's cute? You've said nothing about her?
- 46:33Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 46:34Speaker 1: She could be she could be ten or a thousand
- 46:36Speaker 1: years old. I got no idea mid eighties, right, milky eyes.
- 46:42Speaker 3: Wow. That was when I noticed that it actually stood
- 46:44Speaker 3: on her glasses while I was picking everything up.
- 46:47Speaker 4: Right, Okay, So she was looking at the silhouette of you.
- 46:50Speaker 4: I thought you looked handsome, that's right.
- 46:53Speaker 1: And then I thought, oh, young man, because she would
- 46:56Speaker 1: have said, oh, that's clearly a child based on what
- 46:57Speaker 1: I can make out.
- 47:00Speaker 3: So then I thought, oh, that's a cute story to
- 47:04Speaker 3: tell my wife. Right, she fired up? Did she She
- 47:07Speaker 3: was like, does that? Does she go there all the time?
- 47:09Speaker 1: Does.
- 47:10Speaker 3: She yeah, And I was like, I don't know's I
- 47:13Speaker 3: bumped into it and she was like, well, I'm just
- 47:16Speaker 3: going to hang out there and you can come with
- 47:18Speaker 3: me and tell me what she looks like. I'm gonna
- 47:20Speaker 3: smack the b arch.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Your wife's got beef with everyone. Ah.
- 47:25Speaker 3: So I thought that was a I thought that was
- 47:28Speaker 3: a cute little story.
- 47:29Speaker 1: You said, you got home and you notice your watch
- 47:31Speaker 1: was missing.
- 47:34Speaker 3: I don't own a watch, Magie.
- 47:39Speaker 1: That was a great story.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Jason Figs Feelers, the whole archy.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy.

- 49:18Speaker 3: I think last year we had about one hundred and
- 49:20Speaker 3: eighty thousand people drawer. Yeah, and it ended up in
- 49:25Speaker 3: the drawer. Yeah, that's right. They were in the drawer.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Was one hundred and eighty thousand it was one.
- 49:29Speaker 3: Hundred and eighty thousand.
- 49:31Speaker 1: You get that number. They're just taken into account that
- 49:33Speaker 1: there's you and a mate, So it was only ninety thousand. Yeah,
- 49:37Speaker 1: I still I don't know if it was ninety thousand.
- 49:39Speaker 3: I mean I was definitely ninety thousand keys. How did
- 49:41Speaker 3: you get that lot on the dot?
- 49:43Speaker 4: Oh?
- 49:43Speaker 3: No, ninety three thousand, two hundred and seventy eight.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Who gave you that number?
- 49:48Speaker 3: Just the marketing people.
- 49:49Speaker 1: We don't have any bogs. The CEO gave you this number. Yeah,
- 49:53Speaker 1: Boggsy told you how many people we got in the
- 49:55Speaker 1: drawer from meagic ground. Boggsy. You can't just say boggsy
- 49:58Speaker 1: back at me year.
- 50:00Speaker 3: If you want to be a CEO. Look now Pugs
