Therapy Dogs Bring Comfort to Rural Hospital | Green Bay News
In a heartwarming move, ThedaCare’s Shawano hospital launched a pet therapy program featuring certified therapy dogs like Laney and Cannoli, bringing comfort and cheer to patients—especially in hospice care. Volunteers with calm, gentle dogs can join by getting certified through organizations like the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, and interested handlers can contact Elaine Gast for guidance.
