Vox Liturgica: The propers of the day according to the 1962 Roman Missal. The fourth Sunday after Pentecost, June 21 in the year of our Lord 2026. In the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy ghost. Amen.

  The introit.
• 0:31
The lord is my light and my deliverance. Whom have I to fear? The lord watches over my life. Whom shall I hold in dread? Vainly my enemies threaten my peace.
• 0:47
All at once they stumble and fall. Though a whole host were arrayed against me my heart would be undaunted. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost as it was in the beginning is now and will be through all ages of ages. Amen. The Lord is my light in my deliverance.
• 1:16
Whom have I to fear? The Lord watches over my life. Whom shall I hold in dread? Vainly my enemies threaten my peace. All at once they stumble and fall.
• 1:35
The Collect, let us pray. Grant us, we beseech Thee, O Lord, that the world may be regulated in its course by Thy governance for our peace, and that thy church may with tranquil devotion rejoice through our Lord Jesus Christ thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen. A lesson from the letter of St. Paul the Apostle to the Romans.
• 2:18
Not that I count these present sufferings, brethren, as the measure of that glory which is to be revealed to us. If creation is full of expectancy that is because it is waiting for the sons of God to be made known. Created nature has been condemned to frustration not for some deliberate fault of its own but for the sake of him who so condemned it, with a hope to look forward to, namely, that nature in its turn will be set free from the tyranny of corruption to share in the glorious freedom of God's sons. The whole of nature as we know groans in a common travail all the while. And not only do we see that but we ourselves do the same.
• 3:17
We ourselves, although we have already begun to reap our spiritual harvest, groan in our hearts waiting for that adoption which is the ransoming of our bodies from their slavery in Christ Jesus our Lord. The gradual. Forgive us our sins, O Lord, lest the Gentiles should at any time say, Where is their God? Help us, O God our Saviour, and for the honour of thy name, O Lord, deliver us. Alleluia, alleluia.
• 4:02
God, who sittest upon the throne and judges justice, be thou the refuge of the poor in tribulation. Alleluia. A continuation of the Holy Gospel according to Luke At that time it happened that Jesus was standing by the Lake Of Gennazareth at a time when the multitude was pressing close about him to hear the word of God. And he saw two boats moored at the edge of the lake. The fishermen had gone ashore and were washing their nets and he went on board one of the boats which belonged to Simon and asked him to stand off a little from the land And so sitting down he began to teach the multitudes from the boat.
• 5:00
When he had finished speaking he said to Simon, stand out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch. Simon answered him, Master, we have toiled all the night and caught nothing but at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had done this, they took a great quantity of fish, so that the net was near breaking, and they must needs beckon to their partners who were in the other boat to come and help them. When these came, they filled both boats so that they were ready to sink. At seeing this, Simon Peter fell down and caught Jesus by the knees.
• 5:55
Leave me to myself, Lord, he said. I am a sinner. Such amazement had overcome both him and all his crew at the catch of fish they had made. So it was too with James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were Simon's partners. But Jesus said to Simon, do not be afraid.
• 6:24
Henceforth, thou shalt be a fisher of men. So when they had brought their boats to land, they left all and followed him. The offertory. Give light to these eyes of mine before they close in death. Do not let my enemies claim the mastery.
• 6:54
The secret. Accept our oblations we beseech thee, O Lord, and be appeased by them, and mercifully compel even our rebel wills to turn to thee, through our Lord Jesus Christ thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen. The Preface of the Most Holy Trinity Just it is and fitting, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks unto thee, O Holy Lord, Father Almighty, everlasting God, who together with thine only begotten Son and the Holy Ghost art one God, one Lord, not in the oneness of a single person, but in the Trinity of one substance for what by the revelation we believe of thy glory, the same do we believe of thy Son, the same of the Holy Ghost, without difference or separation, so that, in confessing the true and eternal Godhead, distinction in persons, unity in essence, and equality in majesty may be adored. In praise of which the angels and archangels, the cherubim also and Seraphim, day by day exalt without end, with one voice saying, holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts, the heavens and the earth are full of thy glory.
• 8:52
Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. The Communion The Lord is my firmament and my refuge and my deliverer. My God is my helper.
• 9:20
The post communion. Let us pray. Let the sacrament of which we have partaken cleanse us, O Lord, we pray, and may its virtue be our shield through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
• 9:59
  Amen. Thanks be to God.
