- 4:58Speaker 5: So many people thought?
- 5:00Speaker 3: Here's what happened.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Dolly canceled her Vegas shows because she has some health
- 5:04Speaker 4: issues to deal with her sister. A few days ago,
- 5:06Speaker 4: asked everyone for prayers since she was up all night
- 5:08Speaker 4: praying for her sister Dolly, which made it sound like
- 5:11Speaker 4: Dolly was basically on her deathbed. So everybody started freaking out.
- 5:14Speaker 4: So yesterday Dolly had to go to Instagram and post
- 5:18Speaker 4: a video while.
- 5:18Speaker 3: She's at the Grand Ole Opry recording a commercial. Listen
- 5:22Speaker 3: to this. I want you to know that I'm okay.
- 5:24Speaker 1: There are just a lot of rumors flying around, but

- 5:30Speaker 1: that I was okay.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Yeah, And her sister went back and was like, I.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Didn't mean she was real bad. I just thanks for

- 5:40Speaker 4: That's the problem. It's kitty stones.
- 5:42Speaker 3: That's it.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Thanks Dolly's sister.
- 5:44Speaker 3: We're glad that you're okay, Tolly.
- 5:46Speaker 4: And the next Door Treat Map has just returned to
- 5:49Speaker 4: help plan trick or treat routes. So from now until
- 5:52Speaker 4: October thirty, first, neighbors can drop pins showing if they're
- 5:56Speaker 4: handing out candy or showing off like if they have
- 5:59Speaker 4: really good hallow decorations. You can add photos, and you
- 6:02Speaker 4: can even add notes about what kind of candy you're
- 6:04Speaker 4: handing out, like if you've got king sized bars. If
- 6:07Speaker 4: you got a good candy, go put it on that
- 6:09Speaker 4: next door app.
- 6:10Speaker 3: So anyway, it's on the next door app.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Go if you want people, if you want trick or
- 6:14Speaker 4: treaters come to your house, put it there. And then
- 6:17Speaker 4: if you want to plan your route, you can go there.
- 6:19Speaker 4: That's three things you need to know. More at the
- 6:22Speaker 4: Alabama Show dot com.
- 6:24Speaker 2: You're listening to the Alabama Show on demand.
- 6:26Speaker 4: I just realized that delivery drivers probably see the craziest
- 6:30Speaker 4: things all over town, like they know everybody's secrets.
- 6:34Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 6:34Speaker 6: I feel like they've got their own little groups going like,
- 6:37Speaker 6: oh look what I've found this weekend.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Thanks for listening to the Alabama Show. I'm Alabama with
- 6:41Speaker 4: producer Blake. Listen to what happened. So I pull up
- 6:45Speaker 4: in my driveway yesterday.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Yeah, and you know.
- 6:48Speaker 3: I live in the middle of nowhere and I have
- 6:50Speaker 3: a farm.
- 6:50Speaker 5: Yes, correct.
- 6:51Speaker 3: All of my peacocks were in.
- 6:53Speaker 4: The road at the foot of my driveway, all of them.
- 6:57Speaker 4: All ten of my peacocks. Some of them were across
- 6:59Speaker 4: the street.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Some of them were crossing the road to come back.
- 7:02Speaker 3: So I pull into my.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Driveway and get out of my car to try to
- 7:06Speaker 4: herd them.
- 7:07Speaker 3: And behind me.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Is a FedEx truck and there's a guy driving and
- 7:13Speaker 4: a girl in the passenger side. And they're sitting there.
- 7:15Speaker 4: They can't go because the peacocks are trying to cross
- 7:18Speaker 4: the road, and I'm like, they're mine, They're on It's okay,
- 7:21Speaker 4: I got it. And the guy starts laughing at me,
- 7:25Speaker 4: and you can see the girl dying laughing, and so
- 7:28Speaker 4: I was like, hang on.
- 7:29Speaker 3: So I try to run around and try.
- 7:31Speaker 4: To get them to like run back up my driveway
- 7:35Speaker 4: and get out of the neighborhood. No, they disperse, they
- 7:37Speaker 4: go everywhere, and I look back at.
- 7:41Speaker 3: The truck and both of the FedEx drivers at this
- 7:44Speaker 3: point are rolling. They are laughing so hard they are rolling,
- 7:48Speaker 3: and I just looked at the guy.
- 7:49Speaker 4: I was like, I really thought that these.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Were a good idea to get his pets.
- 7:52Speaker 4: And he's like, how are you gonna get them back
- 7:55Speaker 4: in the house.
- 7:55Speaker 3: I said, I don't know how. I'm gonna drive up
- 7:57Speaker 3: and shake some food. We'll see.
- 7:59Speaker 4: And they started crossing the road again, and he starts
- 8:02Speaker 4: trying to roll to wherever his delivery is and I
- 8:05Speaker 4: was like, don't I hit my peacocks. He goes, I'm not. Anyway,
- 8:11Speaker 4: that was my day, but I realized FedEx drivers, any
- 8:14Speaker 4: any delivery driver's mailman, Amazon anybody, anybody who delivers it.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Food delivery, y'all see some crazy stuff.
- 8:21Speaker 6: I feel like they'd have to because you just roll
- 8:24Speaker 6: up at random times. People do you random things at
- 8:27Speaker 6: random tomes?
- 8:28Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you ever had somebody deliver a package and
- 8:30Speaker 4: you're walking around your house naked?
- 8:32Speaker 1: Uh?
- 8:32Speaker 5: Close?
- 8:33Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 8:33Speaker 5: I was singing you know that Tom Cruise song? Yeah,
- 8:37Speaker 5: oh yeah, I was doing something similar to that.
- 8:39Speaker 6: And he rolls up the clear window, looking right in
- 8:42Speaker 6: at me.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Call the show. If you're a delivery driver, what's the
- 8:45Speaker 3: weirdest thing you've seen?
- 8:46Speaker 4: If you were the delivery driver that saw me and
- 8:49Speaker 4: my peacocks, call the show, please.
- 8:51Speaker 3: They were rolling. I'm surprised. I'm not on the internet.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Eight three three five oh one Bama.
- 8:56Speaker 4: That's eight three three five oh one two two six two.

- 9:09Speaker 4: I'm good, okay, buddy. Have you either been a delivery
- 9:13Speaker 4: driver or has a delivery driver called you doing something weird?
- 9:17Speaker 8: I had a delivery driver caught me doing something weird.
- 9:20Speaker 3: What were you doing?
- 9:21Speaker 8: I was peeing behind my race car and he walked
- 9:23Speaker 8: over the V.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Did you go to the house and here's the bathroom?
- 9:30Speaker 8: I just heard something and I was like, uh, I'm sorry,
- 9:34Speaker 8: I can't stop. But he's like, I'll give you a minute.
- 9:36Speaker 3: And he's still there and held the TV.
- 9:38Speaker 8: Till I got done.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Oh, tell me you're a redneck without telling me you're
- 9:44Speaker 4: a redneck.
- 9:46Speaker 8: Oh, it's it is quite the rouge color.

- 10:01Speaker 4: Even better, what's the weirdest thing on your route?
- 10:04Speaker 10: A lady walks her chicken or a leash man?
- 10:09Speaker 4: These calls, these are my kind of people like is
- 10:12Speaker 4: it a rooster?
- 10:13Speaker 3: Is it a hen?
- 10:14Speaker 4: Is it flying?
- 10:15Speaker 11: No, it's just a hen.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Have you talked to her? Did the kids see it? No?
- 10:20Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah, they're kind of used to it.
- 10:22Speaker 4: I guess. Have y'all come up with a nickname for
- 10:25Speaker 4: the lady in her chicken?
- 10:27Speaker 9: No?
- 10:28Speaker 1: I mean I'm sure the kids have.
- 10:31Speaker 9: Is she just.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Walking down the side of the road on a leash?
- 10:34Speaker 10: Like in her yard, like she puts a little like
- 10:38Speaker 10: a harness on it.
- 10:39Speaker 4: That's amazing. I have so many questions. I want to
- 10:42Speaker 4: know so many things. I'm gonna need to know what
- 10:43Speaker 4: county this is in?
- 10:45Speaker 9: Is it Black County?
- 10:47Speaker 6: Well it could be me. You've been seeing Alabama as
- 10:51Speaker 6: you drive the bus.
- 10:54Speaker 10: Where do you live at Alabama? Oh?
- 10:56Speaker 4: At Black County? That's all we're gonna say. But it
- 10:58Speaker 4: ain't me with the chicken on the lash, I promise yet.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Now if you see me with the peacock on a leash,
- 11:03Speaker 4: that's definitely me.
- 11:05Speaker 12: Now I do know a girl who has a pet peacock.
- 11:07Speaker 4: So all right, you know too, Okatie, I love you,

- 11:41Speaker 9: Every time you drop off a package it here's me
- 11:43Speaker 9: step on the porch. It'll actually bart like a dog
- 11:46Speaker 9: and then cuss and tell me to get off the porch.

- 11:53Speaker 4: Have you ever met the people that live there?

- 12:26Speaker 5: Why did he put up like an actual person or something?
- 12:30Speaker 4: He put up bodies that looked like local officials. It
- 12:33Speaker 4: was a man in Kentucky. Listened to one of the
- 12:36Speaker 4: local officials, Eddie, talking about what happened.
- 12:39Speaker 6: At first, I didn't know what to think about it
- 12:41Speaker 6: because I actually drove by and seeing it in his yard,
- 12:45Speaker 6: and I'm thinking, wow, you know, that's kind of.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Harsh, like basically like people who work for the city.
- 12:52Speaker 3: This guy put like bodies of them. That's Halloween decorations
- 12:56Speaker 3: in his yard.
- 12:58Speaker 5: That's an actual threat.

- 13:23Speaker 4: So if another Chick fil A is built in between
- 13:26Speaker 4: now and when that one's done, then it'll be one

- 14:07Speaker 4: wants to have like a whole neighborhood of kids with
- 14:09Speaker 4: them to the lot and people are like, Oh, she's
- 14:13Speaker 4: gonna quit music and get married. They think that the
- 14:15Speaker 4: life of the show Girl is her final performance. Taylor says,
- 14:19Speaker 4: this is a shockingly offensive thing to say, and people
- 14:22Speaker 4: don't get married so that they can quit their jobs. Although,
- 14:25Speaker 4: if there's a sugar daddy listening to the show, I
- 14:27Speaker 4: would like to have the option if it's available, She said.
- 14:30Speaker 4: She loves being with Travis because he loves what she does. Also,
- 14:33Speaker 4: if there's a sugar daddy listening to the show, I

- 15:11Speaker 11: all the medicines, and they said that it's doing so
- 15:14Speaker 11: good that she should be like it should just disappear within.
- 15:18Speaker 5: A little bit of show.
- 15:21Speaker 4: I know, that's got to be a relief. You said

- 15:27Speaker 10: Yeah, Like it's like this big red birthmark that lik,
