- 2:37Speaker 3: I'm just as long as it's with my wife, whatever
- 2:39Speaker 3: she wants.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I'm happy, absolutely same here.
- 2:42Speaker 3: What even my partner wants?
- 2:43Speaker 4: I want to clarify that.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Oh years, yeah, my wife specifically, Well, I'm not making
- 2:49Speaker 3: love to your wife. Don't don't even say that as
- 2:53Speaker 3: a sentence, say what, don't even say what you said
- 2:57Speaker 3: as a sentence. All right, just putting that thought in
- 3:01Speaker 3: your head. It's gone. I can't think about it. God,
- 3:07Speaker 3: what are you enough to? What you been to? I
- 3:10Speaker 3: saw you today? I saw it kezy today? Did you actually? So?
- 3:17Speaker 3: I had an interesting conversation. I was telling Jason the
- 3:19Speaker 3: office Ellie who's on our gaming podcast. She is very
- 3:23Speaker 3: interested in neurodivergency right ADHD autism because she is she
- 3:29Speaker 3: has both of those late diagnoses of life, and answered
- 3:31Speaker 3: a lot of questions about her. She fight like, yeah,
- 3:34Speaker 3: long story. She loves it. It's her passion. It's like
- 3:37Speaker 3: learning more about this thing. And I was like, so,
- 3:39Speaker 3: I work with two guys, so I'm pretty sure ADHD.
- 3:42Speaker 3: And she's like, oh yeah, yeah, definitely.
- 3:44Speaker 4: I wouldn't say Pugs had ADHD.
- 3:46Speaker 3: No, I don't know about Pugs. But I was like,
- 3:48Speaker 3: what is the deal with Jayce? And I specifically jays
- 3:52Speaker 3: because I was like, Mike's the opposite. He when something
- 3:55Speaker 3: needs to be done, you'll go get it sorted straight away.
- 3:57Speaker 3: I'm similar not as quick to get things. What about you?
- 4:00Speaker 3: Very much? Something pops up an issue you try solve
- 4:03Speaker 3: it immediately. And I was like, Jase, for example, has
- 4:06Speaker 3: had has restricted for thirty years and it's now super
- 4:09Speaker 3: easy to get your full You just have to full
- 4:10Speaker 3: out one form and you've got it. But Jase is like, no,
- 4:14Speaker 3: I'm not doing it. I can tell you will never
- 4:15Speaker 3: do it. And I was like, is that an ADHD thing?
- 4:17Speaker 3: And apparently it is. It's a thing where because he's
- 4:20Speaker 3: gone so long and had never needed it, he doesn't
- 4:23Speaker 3: see the need to go and do it. And she
- 4:25Speaker 3: said the more I try and persuade him and push
- 4:27Speaker 3: him to do it, the less likely he is to
- 4:29Speaker 3: Is that an ADHD thing? Apparently I don't know.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Yeah, it doesn't feel like ADHD.
- 4:34Speaker 5: It feels like a funck word sort of thing, you know,
- 4:37Speaker 5: the part where you would go on, the part where
- 4:40Speaker 5: you would go, well, I'm not doing it because you
- 4:41Speaker 5: want me to. That doesn't feel like ADHD. That feels
- 4:44Speaker 5: like there's more of a fun thing, isn't it. Yeah? Yeah,
- 4:51Speaker 5: I get too much joy out of miserable.
- 4:53Speaker 3: But the fact is also I was like to you, now,
- 4:56Speaker 3: I don't know what's up with me because for some
- 4:57Speaker 3: reason I care about this.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Yes, maybe you've got ADHD. Does you care about. You
- 5:03Speaker 4: don't need to care about.
- 5:04Speaker 3: That's not what ADHD is, to be honest, I don't
- 5:06Speaker 3: even really know what it is.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I it's one of those we do that we
- 5:11Speaker 5: should do the test on light, and have we done
- 5:13Speaker 5: that before?
- 5:13Speaker 4: I don't know. I'm pretty certain that I do have ADHD.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I think both of you do. But I thought
- 5:20Speaker 3: it was more sort of mainly based on all the
- 5:22Speaker 3: weird noises you make. Yeah, how together, that kind of thing,
- 5:26Speaker 3: and it's being bored easy, And I think I think
- 5:28Speaker 3: it's possible as well, because I went to that.
- 5:30Speaker 5: I think I talked to you guys about it the
- 5:31Speaker 5: other week. But when I went to see the drama
- 5:34Speaker 5: from def Lefford's only got one arm doing from the police.
- 5:38Speaker 5: You know he's doing his talk and his name is
- 5:40Speaker 5: not Stuart Towns and it's Stuart Copeland. So you didn't
- 5:44Speaker 5: see the def Lefferd go. You saw the Police. You
- 5:46Speaker 5: know that song travel from It's good stuff. But I
- 5:50Speaker 5: noticed while I sit there, and I noticed this when
- 5:52Speaker 5: I'm at movies as well. I cannot sit still, but
- 5:55Speaker 5: everybody else can just sit there for two hours and
- 5:57Speaker 5: not move at all. I'm I'm all over the show.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Well, it's interesting you say that because I didn't go.
- 6:05Speaker 3: To movies I've got worms though.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Yeah, well that's that doesn't help when you got itchy anus.
- 6:11Speaker 4: But I used to be like that. I couldn't I
- 6:16Speaker 4: couldn't go to movies, I couldn't go to play certainly
- 6:18Speaker 4: not plays, because I was just way too fidgity and
- 6:21Speaker 4: if I find it very difficult to sit down for
- 6:25Speaker 4: any length of time. But I am much better at
- 6:29Speaker 4: that now.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Do you think you're easily distracted? Yes, your own thoughts.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Yes, I've got a lot going on in my head
- 6:38Speaker 4: a lot of the time.
- 6:39Speaker 3: And also just stuff like people outside, you know, people
- 6:42Speaker 3: on the internet, like just stuff around you distracts you
- 6:45Speaker 3: all the time, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Yes.
- 6:47Speaker 3: The other thing too, is like you saying you're going
- 6:49Speaker 3: to learn that piano album yeah, and then immediately getting
- 6:53Speaker 3: bored of it. That's ridiculous.
- 6:56Speaker 4: Yeah. But then again, but but on the other flip
- 6:59Speaker 4: side that I can be quite obsessional about things. Yes,
- 7:02Speaker 4: but that's also it as well, I suppose.
- 7:04Speaker 3: So it's like concentrated obsessions and then you get over them. Yes,
- 7:08Speaker 3: that's it. So that for example, Nippy's iced coffee.
- 7:12Speaker 5: Oh yes, the cheese balls, thank you.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't do cheese balls anymore. Just not wow, because.
- 7:20Speaker 3: It was I'm sure we've done this before.
- 7:22Speaker 4: I was just eating too many. It was like those
- 7:26Speaker 4: little desserts to steam putting steam puddings. I was shockingly bad.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Well, I don't think we've looked up this particular thing. Oh,
- 7:33Speaker 3: we might as well run it now, we've got nothing
- 7:34Speaker 3: else on.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Not too long because they want to go and get
- 7:37Speaker 4: cheap sushi.
- 7:38Speaker 5: Oh okay, well look at it. We got a couple
- 7:40Speaker 5: of minutes. So this is never really sometimes often very often. Okay,
- 7:46Speaker 5: so you've got to try and remember these keezie, can
- 7:48Speaker 5: you make a note of these me? Can you write
- 7:49Speaker 5: down the answers so we can at the end we'll
- 7:51Speaker 5: have a score. I'm not going to do now, I'll
- 7:52Speaker 5: just do jas. Here we go, Jay, So I'm going
- 7:55Speaker 5: to there's only five questions. That's reasonable. How often do
- 7:58Speaker 5: you have trouble finishing the fine details of a project
- 8:01Speaker 5: once the challenging parts are done?
- 8:05Speaker 4: Can you give me the options? Again?
- 8:08Speaker 3: Never?
- 8:09Speaker 5: Really, sometimes, often, very often, very often I don't finish it.
- 8:16Speaker 3: So you do the hard part and then leave the
- 8:18Speaker 3: finishing touch.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Yes, this is ringing bells for me straight away, because
- 8:23Speaker 5: I'm like, I've got this idea, I'll do eighty percent
- 8:25Speaker 5: of it, and now I need somebody else.
- 8:26Speaker 3: To finish it off, and very often for me.
- 8:29Speaker 5: How often do you have difficulty getting things in order
- 8:32Speaker 5: when you have to do a task that requires organization?
- 8:36Speaker 5: So on a scale of one to five, it's called
- 8:38Speaker 5: it scale of one to five.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Four?
- 8:43Speaker 5: How often do you have problems remembering appointments or obligations?
- 8:49Speaker 4: Not so much scale of one to five, but one
- 8:53Speaker 4: being not often two.
- 8:55Speaker 5: Good when you have a task that requires a lot
- 8:59Speaker 5: of thought? How often do you avoid or delay getting started?
- 9:06Speaker 4: Quite often? A four?
- 9:11Speaker 5: How often do you fidgel or squirm?
- 9:13Speaker 3: I'm gonna put five for that one.
- 9:16Speaker 5: It's asking oh yeah, um? How often do you figeral scream?
- 9:21Speaker 5: Give me the fucking questions again? Sorry, I'll check GBT
- 9:26Speaker 5: has paused. It's not looking good for you?
- 9:29Speaker 3: Say that, well it's not. That's not a bad thing.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Once you understand it, can do nothing about it. You
- 9:34Speaker 3: can do.
- 9:36Speaker 5: How often do you figeral scream with your hands or feet?
- 9:39Speaker 5: Why isn't not finishing the question? M? I mean it's
- 9:44Speaker 5: already a yes.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Yes, well much less actually on that front. I used
- 9:50Speaker 4: to be shockingly bad at that.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Right, but not so much now. I'd say, every day
- 9:54Speaker 3: when you sit down, you tap your pen.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Okay, well let's let's go. Yeah, and you do all
- 9:58Speaker 5: you're scribbling and ship anyway, it's called that. Would you
- 10:01Speaker 5: call that a four?
- 10:02Speaker 3: Well?
- 10:03Speaker 5: Yes, okay, yeah, Well what's happening is it's getting to
- 10:10Speaker 5: question five and then it's hitting me with an alert
- 10:12Speaker 5: saying chat TVT isn't designed to provide this type of content, right,
- 10:19Speaker 5: I'm going to do that because yeah, it looks like
- 10:22Speaker 5: I've got it. I thought we all knew that, you
- 10:25Speaker 5: guys probably well, But but the thing about Liz, you
- 10:29Speaker 5: know what it is with autism less So I can
- 10:33Speaker 5: sound ruder, by the way, because that's an actual you
- 10:37Speaker 5: could that's almost that's like a visible thing on somebody
- 10:41Speaker 5: that's probably got it. But ADHD is sort of throwing
- 10:44Speaker 5: around like narcissism. Everybody chucks around. I've got ADHD. I've
- 10:47Speaker 5: got narcissism, But if you ask people to define it,
- 10:49Speaker 5: most people couldn't define it for you. Something that I've
- 10:52Speaker 5: heard other people say, and then they apply it in
- 10:53Speaker 5: a similar situation. I couldn't tell you what ADHD is.
- 10:56Speaker 5: I couldn't give you a definition. I couldn't give you
- 10:58Speaker 5: a definition of what narcissism is. But I know that
- 11:01Speaker 5: everybody sees that everybody else is analysiss.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Yes, it's flavor of this sort of it's.
- 11:06Speaker 5: It's it's the what's the it's the sp spirrileina of
- 11:11Speaker 5: mental Yes, this is the topic djure. I still thing
- 11:16Speaker 5: you guys have it, but I've got lots of stuff.
- 11:21Speaker 3: I think it's because I've been like so thoroughly explained
- 11:26Speaker 3: a lot of things by the Ellie on my gaming podcast.
- 11:29Speaker 3: That's what I'm leaning on that because she keeps trying
- 11:31Speaker 3: to diagnose me for ages. Not that she can, but
- 11:33Speaker 3: she was trying to, like, but she's just I give up.
- 11:34Speaker 3: You've You've got nothing. I don't know, you're weird.
- 11:38Speaker 4: You've got nothing, man, I'm just going to read.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Get just wait, we're talking about something else. I'm just
- 11:45Speaker 5: giving you the symptoms adult focus and attention difficulty sustaining focus,
- 11:49Speaker 5: starting things easily but struggling to finish, losing track during conversations,
- 11:53Speaker 5: forgetting appointments, poor organization, misplacing every day.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Like he's phone.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Avoiding tasks that requires sustain mental effort zoning now even
- 12:04Speaker 5: when you care about the topic. Feeling restless, constant mental activity, fidgetine,
- 12:09Speaker 5: tapping specifically tapping, pacing, difficulty sitting through through meetings or.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Films, brainstorms, anything about brainstorms.
- 12:20Speaker 5: Needing background noise or stimulation to focus, overworking or overseas.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Should you mean to be
