- 0:06Speaker 2: a list form. But you're going to list things. I'm
- 0:09Speaker 2: going to be listing things. Okay, so does that qualifying?
- 0:12Speaker 1: Yeah? Sure, I'm listing to the West. It's Radio from
- 0:15Speaker 1: Hell with another list, because people love a good list.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Act ninety six.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Now the headlines for this as America's Americans deemed these
- 0:27Speaker 2: twenty six regional dishes the worst of all time. Okay,
- 0:34Speaker 2: and I'm looking and I think I'd eat about seventy
- 0:37Speaker 2: percent of these. I bet I don't eat any of them.
- 0:39Speaker 2: You wouldn't know, like what, Well, let's see. Let's let's
- 0:42Speaker 2: start with in Georgia. Apparently the Luther Burger is huge
- 0:49Speaker 2: and essentially just a traditional hamburger, but it's not served
- 0:53Speaker 2: on a bun.
- 0:53Speaker 1: It's served on a donut. That's no, it's not good.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I've seen that done.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, So I'm gonna skip over a lot of
- 1:01Speaker 2: those kind of thing. Okay, I'm just gonna go to
- 1:03Speaker 2: the truly, truly, horrible, horrible, and odd ones unusual or unusual.
- 1:09Speaker 2: In Rhode Island pizza strips Okay, served room temperature. It's
- 1:17Speaker 2: also called party pizza. Can be found at bakeries. It's cheeseless, Gina, Oh,
- 1:22Speaker 2: I'm listening, room temperature, garlic, heavy tomato sauce on top
- 1:26Speaker 2: of the pie. It gets thicker and jammier after baking.
- 1:34Speaker 2: It doesn't look great.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Do you know what with the strips? What makes it nice?
- 1:38Speaker 2: There?
- 1:38Speaker 1: You could dip it in a ranch. Oh yeah, it's
- 1:41Speaker 1: all just cut already ready. I cold pizza from time
- 1:45Speaker 1: to time in Ohio.
- 1:47Speaker 2: The Skyline Chili.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just real thin. It's chili with beans. Yeah,
- 1:55Speaker 1: it's just it's got Yeah. But here's one that I
- 1:58Speaker 1: will not I will not be in Wisconsin. Cannibal sandwiches.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Cannibal sandwich.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You just put your hand between two pieces of bread. Friends,
- 2:09Speaker 2: I'd eat that rather than this. I'm not from Wisconsin.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I've never seen or even or will try this. Apparently
- 2:15Speaker 2: it's big in than Milwaukee, where it's called a cannibal sandwich.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Raw hamburger meat mixed with raw onion on a.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Bot's should had I've had.
- 2:26Speaker 2: That, well, you've got to. I mean I've had the
- 2:29Speaker 2: raw hamburger before. But you've got to make sure it's
- 2:33Speaker 2: you have to be careful. Some areas of Wisconsin it's
- 2:37Speaker 2: called a wildcat.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I don't, I mean I don't. I've had it. I
- 2:41Speaker 1: don't like it, but I've tried it. And let's see.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Back to Georgia boiled peanuts. Apparently they're just way way salty.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Alabama has something called an Alabama White Barbecue sauce.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Which is made with what is based.
- 3:00Speaker 2: White barbecue sauce, typically made with Mayo hot sauce, Worcester sauce,
- 3:05Speaker 2: apple cider, vinegar, and spices. In Arkansas, Mountain oysters, well,
- 3:10Speaker 2: we all.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Know what those are. Same thing as Rocky Mountain oysters. Testicles. Yeah. Now,
- 3:16Speaker 1: Utah makes the list twice.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Okay, one is the thing you've heard of and one
- 3:22Speaker 2: is something I've never heard of.
- 3:24Speaker 1: It I'd like to know.
- 3:26Speaker 2: But the one you've heard of is you could probably
- 3:28Speaker 2: guess funeral potato mineral potatoes. Yeah, I will get to
- 3:33Speaker 2: the second. Utah one coming up. Texas Freedo pie, which delicious. Okay,
- 3:37Speaker 2: here we go. Midwest baloney salad sandwiches.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Baloney so you chop up bolow.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It's ground baloney on a briosh bread with mayo and relish,
- 3:48Speaker 2: like a tuna sandwich, but the meat is ring blooney
- 3:51Speaker 2: instead of tuna.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You eat that. Yeah, it's it's kind of like ham salad,
- 3:56Speaker 1: you know.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Yeah, Maryland stuffed ham, stuffed ham, or as the person
- 4:03Speaker 2: puts it here, Hey kids, do you want your boiled
- 4:05Speaker 2: ham stuffed with greens that look like grass clippings?
- 4:08Speaker 1: Nolp.
- 4:10Speaker 2: It's a corn ham filled with cabbage, kale and onion stuffing,
- 4:14Speaker 2: served cold.
- 4:15Speaker 1: A corn ham. Yeah, I don't know what that is.
- 4:18Speaker 2: It's a ham that's been like fed corn corn beef
- 4:22Speaker 2: like that. Oh oh, let's see scrapple in Pennsylvania.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I've had scrapple. It's really it's disgusting looking.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the meat pudding made with pork scraps including organs, spices,
- 4:37Speaker 2: and corn meal.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Generally what they it's it's gray. It's gray, and it's
- 4:42Speaker 1: sort of I think you buy it in a refrigerator
- 4:47Speaker 1: and you cut it in slices and fry it.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Minnesota ludifisk no cod soaked in lye, boiled served with
- 4:57Speaker 2: potatoes covered in melted butter. I would just the person
- 5:00Speaker 2: would describe it as having the texture of boiled snot
- 5:04Speaker 2: big Christmas delicacy. Let's see in North Carolina liver mush.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I don't even have to hear what it is. I
- 5:13Speaker 2: will say it liver mush, and I'm no longer.
- 5:15Speaker 1: There isn't it. It's probably like liver, like a square
- 5:22Speaker 1: you put on a sandwich. Away.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Now here's the one from Utah that I do not know.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I've not heard of. I am a lifelong Utah and
- 5:34Speaker 2: I have never heard of shipwreck cast role.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It have you? Yeah, it's it? Is it? You just
- 5:43Speaker 1: put anything in it.
- 5:44Speaker 2: They're crediting it to Utah and Mormons who live in Canada.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Whatever, whatever you have on hand, ground.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Beef, casserole, tomato soup, a lot of veggies, carrots, broccoli, celery, potatoes, corn, cabbage, onions, peas.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Veggies are layered on the bottom, one at a time
- 6:01Speaker 2: and then.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Topped with the beef and the sauce. I've never heard
- 6:04Speaker 1: of this. That sounds good.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Yeah, and then it says various states green jello salad,
- 6:11Speaker 2: but I always thought that was ours.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't see jello as much anymore. I think
- 6:20Speaker 1: it's it's really fun. I mean, family functions, and all that.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I don't think people put out jello salad anymore.
- 6:26Speaker 2: So Alaska Alaskan ice cream like a baked Alaska also
- 6:33Speaker 2: known as akutac oh. This once popular Alaskan dessert morphed
- 6:39Speaker 2: from wild berries mixed with blubber blubbery yeah or tallo
- 6:43Speaker 2: to loads of white sugar whipped in crisco with berries
- 6:47Speaker 2: and chopped candies.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I just don't it's the blubbers for the consit to
- 6:53Speaker 1: give it some sort of consistency.
- 6:55Speaker 2: And I guess, and they're crediting Idaho with fry sauce
- 6:58Speaker 2: when we all know, no, that's a Utah, that's.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Ours, baby was vented by the Arctic Circle.
- 7:05Speaker 2: So that's why I kind of questioned this whole list
- 7:09Speaker 2: shipwreck cast role at crediting Idaho with our fry sauce.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I mean, I want pizza strips, That's what I get.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Who put that? Who put that list together?
- 7:17Speaker 2: As I found it on a guy found it on BuzzFeed,
- 7:20Speaker 2: Go to hell.
- 7:23Speaker 1: To be mean about it? All Right, there you go
