- 0:08Speaker 1: And I invited you here.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I thought I made myself perfectly clear. When you're a
- 0:17Speaker 2: guest to my home, you gotta come to me empty.
- 0:23Speaker 2: And I said, no, guests, your own presence is presence enough.
- 0:31Speaker 2: And I already had too much stuff, So how do
- 0:35Speaker 2: you dare to surbey me?
- 0:49Speaker 3: Welcome to I said, no gifts. I'm Richard wine Ger.
- 0:54Speaker 3: We're here in the studio. The recording has started, and
- 0:57Speaker 3: now I'm in control. There's nothing you can do, No
- 1:00Speaker 3: one can stop me. What's going on? Well, first, I
- 1:06Speaker 3: would just like to take a moment before we talk
- 1:08Speaker 3: about anything else, to just speak to the woman who
- 1:10Speaker 3: was in front of me in line and found coffee
- 1:12Speaker 3: this morning. Pick a muffin, for God's sake. I'm parked
- 1:17Speaker 3: illegally and I don't have time for you to inspect
- 1:20Speaker 3: every pastry. Look behind you, there are several people behind
- 1:23Speaker 3: you in line. Pick the muffin and get moving. Okay,
- 1:27Speaker 3: now that you're out of my way. What else has
- 1:30Speaker 3: been happening? We're still watching Little House on the Prairie.
- 1:33Speaker 3: We got back into it. We took a small break
- 1:35Speaker 3: for no reason, but now powering through season two. Last
- 1:39Speaker 3: night's episode, what happened. Let's see, Charles and the girls
- 1:42Speaker 3: went on a fun camping trip and Carolyn stayed home
- 1:46Speaker 3: and almost died on the floor. She got a scratch
- 1:50Speaker 3: and then it became infected. And then she got some
- 1:53Speaker 3: medical advice from the Bible and that helped her and
- 1:57Speaker 3: so she did not have to amputate her foot. And
- 2:00Speaker 3: she also bakes some pies. What an episode. The show
- 2:03Speaker 3: was terrifying last night. That show can be very spooky.
- 2:06Speaker 3: A lot of close ups on this woman's eye. Somebody was,
- 2:10Speaker 3: you know, dabbling in horror on Little House on the Prairie.
- 2:14Speaker 3: And that's my entire life. And now I have to
- 2:16Speaker 3: remind you of Patreon. Let me just take a moment
- 2:19Speaker 3: and say, Patreon dot com slash I said, no gifts
- 2:22Speaker 3: bonus episodes of the show in the backyard. Why did
- 2:25Speaker 3: I say it like that because I wanted to My
- 2:28Speaker 3: body wanted to me recapping housewives, me recapping secret lives
- 2:33Speaker 3: of Mormon wives, me recapping every single commercial I see
- 2:37Speaker 3: during these shows. What I mean, the value of all
- 2:41Speaker 3: of this and whatever else nonsense I can think of,
- 2:44Speaker 3: So go to Patreon dot com, slash I said no
- 2:46Speaker 3: gifts if you want to support the show. If you
- 2:48Speaker 3: don't want to support the show, you're going to hell. Okay,
- 2:52Speaker 3: so now let's get into the show. I simply adore
- 2:55Speaker 3: today's guest. Everybody does. It's Nori read Noriri. Welcome to
- 2:59Speaker 3: saying gift you.
- 3:00Speaker 1: That's so nice. I'm so happy you're here. I'm so
- 3:03Speaker 1: happy to be here.
- 3:05Speaker 3: The last time we were together, you it was kind
- 3:08Speaker 3: of a complicated situation because you ordered what I will say,
- 3:11Speaker 3: the most beautiful blt I've ever seen, Thank you, And
- 3:14Speaker 3: then we quickly discovered that the bread was not stable.
- 3:17Speaker 1: It was it was a house of cards, was true.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It was too much. It was beautiful, just like you said, heirloom.
- 3:23Speaker 3: It was like a cartoon sandwich.
- 3:25Speaker 1: But it was not practical, kind of like a fashion
- 3:28Speaker 1: you know, like something gorgeous on the runway, but you
- 3:31Speaker 1: try to put it on in real life. You go,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I can't do that.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Take it into the street and it falls apart. Yeah,
- 3:36Speaker 3: the bread was needed.
- 3:37Speaker 1: To be toasted.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Yes, it was like a beautiful white bread, but it
- 3:41Speaker 3: was like, you've got to give this.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Some stability, give it something. Yeah. I felt so bad
- 3:45Speaker 1: for you. Oh, you didn't ever feel bad for me.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I still ate it, I ate it. I deconstructed it.
- 3:51Speaker 3: You did deconstruct what you got to do. You shouldn't
- 3:53Speaker 3: have to deconstruct a BLT. No, there are three ingredients. Literally,
- 3:58Speaker 3: it should just be able to hold together others a
- 4:01Speaker 3: you know, a harty sandwich.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Can I go back to what you're talking about with
- 4:04Speaker 1: a muffin? Of course? So I was a barista, like
- 4:08Speaker 1: many know, what A what a You know, I'm not
- 4:12Speaker 1: the first comedian who was a barista. But what I
- 4:16Speaker 1: quickly learned about that what you're talking about? He said,
- 4:20Speaker 1: it's a very sexual thing. Yes, And there was a
- 4:24Speaker 1: man who had always come in and ask about the cookies.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And it was one of my first jokes I ever
- 4:30Speaker 1: wrote for stand up was about this guy because it
- 4:33Speaker 1: was so fetishy what was happening. He wants to know
- 4:36Speaker 1: the ingredients, he wants to know where's it coming from,
- 4:40Speaker 1: and where's it going? What's in it? And oh double chocolate? Oh,
- 4:45Speaker 1: and it gets so sensual weird, and you know, they
- 4:49Speaker 1: never get it. They don't get the pastry. They just
- 4:52Speaker 1: want you as the barista to talk about it.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Whoa, It's almost like ASMR for them, but more sex actual. Yeah,
- 5:01Speaker 3: and the sexual thing is between you and between him
- 5:04Speaker 3: and you or between him and the cookie.
- 5:06Speaker 1: We're all involved.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that's unfair to everybody.
- 5:13Speaker 1: To everyone, to the person behind, to the barista who's
- 5:17Speaker 1: just trying to get through their day. So yeah, it
- 5:21Speaker 1: was cookie perfect, the cookie pervert. So I think this
- 5:23Speaker 1: woman is a big ass pervert.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I'm willing to believe that. Yeah, she was a disaster
- 5:29Speaker 3: for me. I was so mad she was truly inspecting.
- 5:32Speaker 3: She had the cashier like holding the muffin up.
- 5:36Speaker 1: See it's weird, it's it's giving Bethany Frankle. Let me
- 5:39Speaker 1: breathe on the muff Yeah. Like have you seen her
- 5:42Speaker 1: videos where like it's like she's like, I'm a foodie
- 5:45Speaker 1: and it's like, girl, you don't swallow any of the
- 5:48Speaker 1: food she cuts. She will edit and cut before that.
- 5:52Speaker 3: She never puts it and then she's a bucket.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Yes, you never see the swallow.
- 5:56Speaker 3: This is my problem with like, you know, fictional television
- 5:59Speaker 3: where I send that are shooting a bunch of takes.
- 6:02Speaker 3: You can't eat every bite of the food, but if
- 6:04Speaker 3: you're doing like a YouTube or an Instagram video, you
- 6:07Speaker 3: should swallow the food.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Her videos are so upsetting to me, because like, I mean,
- 6:12Speaker 1: they're just so fucked up. Like she's like like she's
- 6:15Speaker 1: making a big deal about it and like whatever, and
- 6:17Speaker 1: then when she goes to eat it, she like barely
- 6:20Speaker 1: like nibbles on it, but doesn't even like with her
- 6:22Speaker 1: like gums. She's like gross. It's like, really, take a
- 6:26Speaker 1: look sometime. It's really fucked up.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Is she going to the places to eat or she
- 6:30Speaker 3: like it's.
- 6:30Speaker 1: At home they send it to her at this point, okay,
- 6:33Speaker 1: because she's like a food reviewer, reviewer, now, the only
- 6:37Speaker 1: thing more fucked up? Are you on metal Lane? TikTok?
- 6:40Speaker 3: No, But I'm just seeing all the headlines about the
- 6:42Speaker 3: raw chicken nuggets.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Yes, I'm going on. I'm being fed all of these tiktoks,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and I'm kind of raid commenting, and I'm I'm really
- 6:51Speaker 1: good at commenting, so they're kind of always like the
- 6:53Speaker 1: top comment because I'm really I'm.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Like really good at That's something to brag about.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I wish that was a job because I would get
- 6:59Speaker 1: paid so much. I'm so good at. But I'm so
- 7:03Speaker 1: angry at that demon twink who like opened up this
- 7:06Speaker 1: luxury grocer in the middle of a food crisis.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Right and where is it. It's in Manhattan.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It's in Tribeca, specifically Tribeca, Okay. And he's like he
- 7:15Speaker 1: famously said that food wasn't political, which is one of
- 7:18Speaker 1: the most insane things. It was like, food isn't political.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Like people are like hating on me because he's his
- 7:26Speaker 1: parents are billionaires.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Of course, and he's I wish he came from nothing.
- 7:30Speaker 3: That's such a funny story.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Yeah, but like if you come from nothing, it's like
- 7:34Speaker 1: you're going to do something good for people.
- 7:38Speaker 3: We imagine coming from nothing and still deciding to open
- 7:41Speaker 3: the worst grocery store.
- 7:42Speaker 1: In the world. Yes, no, literally, and it's one thing
- 7:45Speaker 1: if it was like because I love luxury, so it's
- 7:47Speaker 1: like I'm I contain multitudes. I'm Boushie with the purpose.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I'm for the people, not of the people before, for
- 7:56Speaker 1: the people. I'm kidding, you're the top commenter. Yes, yes,
- 8:00Speaker 1: that's me. So I love nice things. But like it's
- 8:03Speaker 1: not even good, like the interior design people are calling
- 8:06Speaker 1: Ai design because it looks AI right, and it's literally
- 8:11Speaker 1: like a Hilton corner eatery. All it is is just
- 8:15Speaker 1: like a corner Hilton grocery. Okay, And they're like, oh,
- 8:20Speaker 1: like it's so not to mention the chicken nuggets.
- 8:22Speaker 3: They're right, they were raw.
- 8:24Speaker 1: They're raw. Oh in the middle they were pink o.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Chicken nuggets are already a thing that you really have
- 8:31Speaker 3: to there's like a trust you have to have with
- 8:34Speaker 3: a chicken nugget. Yeah, if this could go wrong, yes,
- 8:38Speaker 3: to be betrayed by to bite into raw whatever is
- 8:41Speaker 3: happening in there, because it's not just chicken, it's frequently
- 8:45Speaker 3: ground up or god knows what's happening in there. So
- 8:49Speaker 3: and why is this place serving chicken nuggets?
- 8:51Speaker 1: If I don't know. People were like coming for him
- 8:54Speaker 1: from the chicken nuggets. He made like a front facing
- 8:57Speaker 1: video where he's like when you want to do something thing,
- 9:01Speaker 1: people will always trying to take it out. And people
- 9:04Speaker 1: were like, your chicken nuggets were raw, Like, don't make
- 9:07Speaker 1: this Like he was like, homophobia is crazy right now.
- 9:10Speaker 1: It's like no, baby, I don't know, but like it's
- 9:15Speaker 1: just like no, Like it's because your chicken nuggets were raw,
- 9:18Speaker 1: not because it's not a social justice issue.
- 9:21Speaker 3: They were probably each nine dollars, you know, it's probably
- 9:24Speaker 3: you know, forty dollars for a package of chicken nuggets. Wow,
- 9:27Speaker 3: and it's not like a full size like no, it's
- 9:31Speaker 3: just like an all right.
- 9:33Speaker 1: It's because everyone it's like, look, airone is also gross.
- 9:36Speaker 1: A lot of flays, but at least it does what
- 9:38Speaker 1: it's supposed to do, right, like you walk and go, Okay,
- 9:42Speaker 1: I feel what this is giving.
- 9:44Speaker 3: They're like using expensive things to make expensive things.
- 9:47Speaker 1: But like his place, it's like it literally looks like
- 9:49Speaker 1: he walked into like a Hyatt and it's like they're
- 9:52Speaker 1: selling deli. It's just so bizarre. And then all the
- 9:56Speaker 1: comments people defending him, they're all just like rich white
- 10:00Speaker 1: girls being like believe he's gay, and it's like, no,
- 10:03Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. I don't care that he's gay, Like.
- 10:06Speaker 3: What what have you been commenting?
- 10:09Speaker 1: Just the F word? No no, no, no no no no
- 10:11Speaker 1: no no, I haven't like just kind of like one thing, Okay.
- 10:15Speaker 1: On his front facing video, I did top comment. I
- 10:18Speaker 1: did say something to the effect of like because in
- 10:22Speaker 1: the video he says like screw me for pursuing my passion,
- 10:28Speaker 1: like sorry that I left venture capitalism. I'm not kidding.
- 10:31Speaker 1: This is this is what he said. I left venture
- 10:33Speaker 1: capitalism because I had a dream, and I guess like
- 10:36Speaker 1: f me for like having a dream. And I think
- 10:39Speaker 1: I said, like if my parents were billionaires and my
- 10:42Speaker 1: passion was food, because he said his passion was food,
- 10:45Speaker 1: then I would make my passion about food about food
- 10:48Speaker 1: access right, so people could have access to food, not
- 10:51Speaker 1: create a hyper exclusive grocery that has literal bouncers hired
- 10:57Speaker 1: bouncers in a time when the country people cannot eat.
- 11:03Speaker 3: What are the bouncers doing? Are they checking id's, are
- 11:05Speaker 3: they checking credit scores?
- 11:06Speaker 1: It's kind of like the legacy would be like Hollister.
- 11:10Speaker 3: They're oh god, he's taken every horrible thing about retail
- 11:16Speaker 3: and just combined. It's just a portal to hell.
- 11:19Speaker 1: It's also like dead in the eyes of course, there's
- 11:21Speaker 1: like nothing there. How old, Like he's probably in his
- 11:24Speaker 1: early thirties, I'm guessing. But listen, when you're that evil,
- 11:27Speaker 1: you age really fast. So he could be like twenty.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Thousands of years old.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Yeah, he could be thousands of years old.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Wow, what I need to dive more into this thing.
- 11:37Speaker 3: I feel like there have been a lot of food
- 11:39Speaker 3: people recently talking about yeah, like their passionate food and
- 11:43Speaker 3: then charging way too much.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yes, it's Also, Hey, honey, I'm a human being. My
- 11:48Speaker 1: passion's food too, bitch, because I have to stay alive.
- 11:52Speaker 1: What are you talking about? It's such an easy thing
- 11:54Speaker 1: to be passionate about. Yeah. Yeah, my stomach is passionate
- 11:57Speaker 1: about food.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I don't like being hungry.
- 12:00Speaker 1: My lungs are passionate about air. Wow, I'm passionate about
- 12:04Speaker 1: how like going to sleep at night?
- 12:06Speaker 3: Actually, I wonder how long that thing's going to stick around.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I hope it fucking shuts down. Nothing has I've been trying.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I've been trying to do Buddhism. Okay, trying to do Buddhism.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I'm like really bad Buddhists, but I'm really trying, and like,
- 12:24Speaker 1: this has really rocked to me. Nothing has made me
- 12:26Speaker 1: this angry in a long time.
- 12:27Speaker 3: What are you doing to try to do Buddhism?
- 12:29Speaker 1: I went to a silent retreat? Oh for how four days? Ever?
- 12:33Speaker 3: You silent the whole time?
- 12:34Speaker 1: Silent, no phone, no computer, no books. Wow, they said
- 12:38Speaker 1: no books. I didn't bring books. Guess who's guess who's
- 12:41Speaker 1: fucking reading everyone else? What? I'm like, that's fucked up.
- 12:44Speaker 3: That's a place that needs a bouncer, that takes your
- 12:45Speaker 3: books away.
- 12:46Speaker 1: They were They were just like, no, I had nothing, nothing.
- 12:50Speaker 3: For four days, just their thoughts and nature and nature.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Where was it, big bear?
- 12:55Speaker 3: Wow? It was beautiful And how was it overall?
- 12:59Speaker 1: Like?
- 12:59Speaker 3: The experience was it?
- 13:00Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 13:01Speaker 3: There was no element where you're like your brain felt
- 13:03Speaker 3: like it was going to break the first two days
- 13:05Speaker 3: so half of the time.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Was half of the time. So the first two days,
- 13:09Speaker 1: I'm like, it's this drug. This is a drug. It
- 13:13Speaker 1: is like I didn't realize how much.
- 13:15Speaker 3: This story is holding up her phone right now.
- 13:17Speaker 1: This is well's there's methan here. I'm sorry, cocaine. Yes,
- 13:22Speaker 1: this is in the air. No, my phone. It it
- 13:27Speaker 1: is so fucked up. I didn't realize how addicted I
- 13:30Speaker 1: am just holding it to touching it because they take it,
- 13:34Speaker 1: they take your phone, they lock it, okay, okay. So
- 13:37Speaker 1: the first two days I'm freaking out and all the
- 13:39Speaker 1: things that I use phone to avoid are flooding of course,
- 13:44Speaker 1: the system, traumas whatever, whatever. And then we did get
- 13:49Speaker 1: to talk because we did it. We were in small groups.
- 13:51Speaker 1: The second day it was like fifteen minutes. It was
- 13:54Speaker 1: like fifteen minutes of a small group, and I had
- 13:56Speaker 1: this idea in my head that everyone else was doing
- 14:00Speaker 1: good because no one's talking, so all I can see
- 14:03Speaker 1: is just what I can see, and they look like
- 14:05Speaker 1: they're doing great because they're all meditating. They're more I'm
- 14:11Speaker 1: more of a beginner than everyone else. We get into
- 14:14Speaker 1: the small group, it's like five people. Everybody's crying. Everybody's crying,
- 14:20Speaker 1: like immediately yes, and they're like, this is so hard.
- 14:23Speaker 1: I'm so much grief is coming up. And it was
- 14:27Speaker 1: such a beautiful moment of like, I'm not alone. Every
- 14:30Speaker 1: you know, the stories we make up in our head
- 14:31Speaker 1: that were the only person struggling. Everyone was struggling. That
- 14:35Speaker 1: helps me so much. And then after the second day
- 14:39Speaker 1: it kind of went away and I just enjoyed it.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Wow, and what are you doing throughout the day?
- 14:45Speaker 1: I had a backup phone, so I kind of notice
- 14:48Speaker 1: something I back up no, Like, So the schedule is
- 14:52Speaker 1: you wake up at like six six.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Thirty, Okay, it's already difficult.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Yes, you meditate, then you eat breakfast and it's like
- 15:01Speaker 1: vegetarian whole foods. Then I had breakfast. My duty was
- 15:05Speaker 1: dish duty for breakfast, so I was doing all the
- 15:08Speaker 1: dishes for breakfast with this wonderful woman, like in silence,
- 15:13Speaker 1: and then you go shower whatever you need to do.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Then you have the first sit. So we're alternating between
- 15:21Speaker 1: sitting meditation and walking meditation because it's beauty. We're on
- 15:24Speaker 1: a mountain. It's like gorgeous fall foliage. And then before
- 15:31Speaker 1: you know what, it's lunchtime, baby, so we're eating lunch,
- 15:35Speaker 1: and then how's the food? It was amazing.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Okay, that's nice to hear.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I've never I mean TM, I like, I mean that
- 15:41Speaker 1: much fiber. Oh my god, you're just you're going it's amazing.
- 15:47Speaker 1: So what's funny is so me and this woman named Kelly,
- 15:50Speaker 1: we we would just like do dishes in silence and
- 15:54Speaker 1: she was so sweet. But what's so great is that
- 15:58Speaker 1: you're not talking, but you can still feel old, the
- 16:01Speaker 1: warmth of a tree, and which is so sweet. The
- 16:05Speaker 1: last day when we could actually talk altogether, she was like,
- 16:09Speaker 1: I know who you are. She's like, I love your comedy.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I was like, oh my god, what a reward this?
- 16:14Speaker 1: I know how I was. She's like, my husband's an
- 16:17Speaker 1: executive at Referee, which is like an LGBT stream platform.
- 16:24Speaker 1: She's like, so we got to get a meeting. We
- 16:25Speaker 1: gotta get a meeting. And I'm just like, Big Beer
- 16:28Speaker 1: is two hours away from LA, so you're still kind
- 16:31Speaker 1: of in.
- 16:31Speaker 3: That and you went with a goal to network.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Well that's why I went, of course, why do we
- 16:36Speaker 1: do anything these days? It's to get a job. It's
- 16:39Speaker 1: to get a goddamn job.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Honey, Can I get a general?
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yes?
- 16:42Speaker 1: So she that that really tickled me because I was like, Wow,
- 16:47Speaker 1: you can really be like out of LA. But are you?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Are you ever out of LA?
- 16:51Speaker 3: You're never never. I mean I think you have to
- 16:53Speaker 3: leave the country. You'd have to you have to get
- 16:55Speaker 3: out of the country.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I feel like I'd be in Liken to bat and
- 16:58Speaker 1: it's like, I love your work. Were you on this podcast? So?
- 17:04Speaker 1: I thought was really nice?
- 17:05Speaker 3: And is there do they give you a uniform to
- 17:07Speaker 3: wear or do you get to just wear your clothes?
- 17:08Speaker 1: No, you just wear like comfy, comfy clothes. I'm so
- 17:12Speaker 1: curious about all of this.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Youth more cultult territory. I'm like, when do you become imprisoned?
- 17:20Speaker 3: When is there no turning back? When do you start
- 17:22Speaker 3: to question? Have I crossed a line that I can't
- 17:24Speaker 3: tell anybody about.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like in this situation what felt. So
- 17:29Speaker 1: it's funny how you can immediately kind of feel if
- 17:31Speaker 1: it's culty. I feel like the difference is that we
- 17:34Speaker 1: had so much autonomy, so like if you were too
- 17:37Speaker 1: tired to go to a morning set, you don't. No
- 17:39Speaker 1: one's pressuring you to go. Okay, Okay, So that's the difference,
- 17:43Speaker 1: is you still have like control over yourself.
- 17:46Speaker 3: And how did you find out about it?
- 17:47Speaker 1: I can't remember who, but someone told me about this
- 17:49Speaker 1: place called Big Bear Retreat Center.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Okay, Big Bear Retreat Center, reach out.
- 17:53Speaker 1: It's amazing.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Okay, that sounds so lovely.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm already going to another one and addicted. Okay,
- 17:59Speaker 1: I'm addicted because it's a shitty time right now, obviously,
- 18:05Speaker 1: like everyone knows that except the guy who opened the
- 18:08Speaker 1: luxury Coasture and Tribeca.
- 18:11Speaker 3: And the people shopping there and all the people who
- 18:13Speaker 3: shop there.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I just feel like, right now, my two things are
- 18:18Speaker 1: Buddhism and shopping.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Right you're shopping a lot. Oh my god, I'm shopping,
- 18:24Speaker 3: and that's this is a thing that stresses me out.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I know, I know, what sort.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Of shopping are you doing?
- 18:30Speaker 1: Online? In store? It's online and I'm returning most of it,
- 18:34Speaker 1: which that well, but that's how you know. It's toxic
- 18:37Speaker 1: as hell. And I'm like giving myself. What's funny is
- 18:40Speaker 1: when you order things and you have to return them,
- 18:42Speaker 1: you're kind of giving yourself a little tasks.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you're creating a job for yourself to do.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Now you're a part of the shipping industry.
- 18:48Speaker 1: There's like some subconscious like giving yourself a job. It's
- 18:51Speaker 1: like animal crossing, like cutting down the trees. He's like, oh,
- 18:55Speaker 1: got to print ounce the shipp label, got to gotta
- 18:57Speaker 1: take it to ups. I have. I have a purpose today.
- 19:00Speaker 1: It's weird.
- 19:02Speaker 3: It's the items that need to be returned that are
- 19:05Speaker 3: just haunting me sitting on the kitchen counter. You return
- 19:08Speaker 3: to them, No I need I just take forever.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:10Speaker 3: They just sit there and sit there and sit there,
- 19:13Speaker 3: and it's not that difficult to return them.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Uh it is, okay, it is. I appreciate you. I
- 19:18Speaker 1: realized I have a printer solely for the purpose of
- 19:23Speaker 1: printing shipping plates.
- 19:24Speaker 3: I think that's almost the only reason people use a
- 19:26Speaker 3: printer anymore.
- 19:27Speaker 1: It's the only thing holding up the printer industry is
- 19:30Speaker 1: shipping label.
- 19:31Speaker 3: And the fact that each pack of ink costs three
- 19:33Speaker 3: hundred dollars.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Literally, I bet they could do QR codes for everything.
- 19:36Speaker 1: But the lobby, the printing lobby, is like, no, no, no, nose.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Make it as much as possible.
- 19:41Speaker 1: We need to print out the label.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Yeah, and printers, well, I'm not even going to get
- 19:47Speaker 3: into the printer situation because I cannot. Somebody's got it.
- 19:50Speaker 3: We've got to do a class action against these companys.
- 19:52Speaker 3: They make you buy all four colors. We're not using
- 19:55Speaker 3: the three other colors.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and then it's always out. I feel like I
- 19:58Speaker 1: pronounce constantly three now, and it's like and I'm like
- 20:02Speaker 1: when no, no, no, no, no, no no no, no, no, no, bitch,
- 20:05Speaker 1: I just bought a cartridge.
- 20:08Speaker 3: There's got to be a solution.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Something's going on.
- 20:10Speaker 3: There's something. I think it's the printer lobby, the ink lobby.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Also, now my paper's not loading, you know how, It's
- 20:18Speaker 1: like it's not you gotta it's kind of like sex.
- 20:20Speaker 1: It's like you gotta like or play, you gotta kind
- 20:24Speaker 1: of like rustle it a little bit, kind of make
- 20:25Speaker 1: sure the paper's coming. Erotic. It's everything's so erotic. Now
- 20:29Speaker 1: it's a lot of noise. Yeah, clearly very horny. And
- 20:33Speaker 1: I'm like, cookies are sex, sprinters are sex. It's like, okay, what.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Have you bought online?
- 20:40Speaker 1: Uh? Clothes? I bought my first fake? Well, okay, it's
- 20:45Speaker 1: a dupe. Okay, it's not. The bag is not claiming
- 20:49Speaker 1: to be a Balenciaga. There's no labels or anything. But
- 20:52Speaker 1: it's the same exact purse, right, just one hundred dollars
- 20:58Speaker 1: from China compared to what five thousand. It's the same bag, bridges,
- 21:03Speaker 1: of course it is. It must be the same factory
- 21:05Speaker 1: because it's it's the same bag, of course, Like because
- 21:09Speaker 1: I went to the Bone Saga stores, it's the exact
- 21:12Speaker 1: same bag. Wow, it's insane.
- 21:14Speaker 3: And how did you find the dupe?
- 21:17Speaker 1: TikTok TikTok? I did a lot of digging around, went
- 21:22Speaker 1: to some dark web places.
- 21:24Speaker 3: And did you find the real bag first? And then
- 21:26Speaker 3: searched for.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I was obsessed with the called the Rodeo, and I'm like,
- 21:31Speaker 1: I became I mean, it's deff. There there's something going
- 21:35Speaker 1: on psychologically.
- 21:38Speaker 3: There's a little like, well maybe this will fix some problems. Yeah, yes,
- 21:41Speaker 3: and then it doesn't, and then you can keep buying things.
- 21:43Speaker 1: You have to keep buying stuff. But I will say
- 21:46Speaker 1: that this person has fixed all of my problems. I'm
- 21:50Speaker 1: in Like I literally the compliments I get when I'm
- 21:55Speaker 1: just walking out in the world. People are like, I
- 21:56Speaker 1: love that, I love that bag.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Oh to have a bag compliment, nothing's better, nothing feels great.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Four honey, that's the four girls were all over the bag.
- 22:06Speaker 1: And I say, oh, it's a dupe. So you're telling people, Yeah,
- 22:10Speaker 1: I would feel I would. It doesn't feel right to me.
- 22:14Speaker 1: I have to be like, it's a dupe. You say
- 22:17Speaker 1: it in a very cute way.
- 22:18Speaker 2: It's a dope.
- 22:20Speaker 3: I want to get my eyes on this thing. It's
- 22:22Speaker 3: called the Rodeod bag.
- 22:24Speaker 1: It's gorgeina.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Oh, it's like a beautiful black bag.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Beautiful. Let's see. It's kind of like their version of
- 22:31Speaker 1: like a Kelly Okay, it's very Yeah.
- 22:35Speaker 3: See, I'm not in the bag world. I spend about
- 22:37Speaker 3: forty dollars on a bag.
- 22:39Speaker 1: That's beautiful.
- 22:40Speaker 3: True, it's what it is.
- 22:42Speaker 1: What it is. Man bags are like so in right now,
- 22:45Speaker 1: are they? Yes, like a lot of there's a lot
- 22:47Speaker 1: of TikTok kind of like man bag okay, fervor Oh interesting, Yeah,
- 22:52Speaker 1: that's like a big I used to work in fashion,
- 22:54Speaker 1: so I kind of I didn't know. It makes me. Yeah,
- 22:56Speaker 1: I get really like excited.
- 22:57Speaker 3: About Okay, Yeah for me, I buy one bag every
- 23:00Speaker 3: three to four years.
- 23:02Speaker 1: That's great.
- 23:03Speaker 3: You know they get a little dirty, and I think
- 23:05Speaker 3: I should be maybe maybe every eighteen months, I should
- 23:08Speaker 3: be buying a bank. Yeah, because I'm taking it everywhere,
- 23:10Speaker 3: I'm putting it on something. I finally stopped putting it
- 23:12Speaker 3: on the floor because somebody told me about the superstition
- 23:15Speaker 3: that you never your money flies away if you.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Put on the floor.
- 23:19Speaker 3: I'd been putting my bag on every floor I could find, well,
- 23:23Speaker 3: probably bathroom floors.
- 23:24Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, I'm filthy. If I was a boy,
- 23:29Speaker 1: I would get a love bag. Oh what's that?
- 23:32Speaker 3: You're exposing me as just a classless person.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. And again, I am a Buddhist, so
- 23:40Speaker 1: this is you know, Buddha.
- 23:42Speaker 3: I mean, you're really throwing it off.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I like when like the government took my.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Passport earlier this year, What a nightmare.
- 23:49Speaker 1: It was horrible, right, they took my birth certificate I
- 23:52Speaker 1: had no doctor. Disgusting, terrifying, right, So when I like
- 23:56Speaker 1: when it happened. I like, I took a gun class.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Good for you. I took a gun class in AZUSA,
- 24:02Speaker 1: and it's like I'm literally a Buddhist and I was
- 24:04Speaker 1: just like why am I here? And like by the
- 24:07Speaker 1: end of it, I was like, you know what, I
- 24:08Speaker 1: really am a pacifist and like I'd rather just die?
- 24:12Speaker 1: What sort of guns? Did they have? Your shooting clocks
- 24:15Speaker 1: really really big blocks? And I was and like by
- 24:19Speaker 1: the end, I was like, I do not want a gun.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Maybe it's good I know how to use one, because
- 24:23Speaker 1: now I just like know how to use.
- 24:25Speaker 3: One, right if we get to like a mad Max point.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm like, I'm like, I'd rather they shoot me.
- 24:29Speaker 3: That's how I feel.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I just want to die.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I just don't know that. Yeah, like that, I want
- 24:34Speaker 3: to be part of the world where I have to
- 24:35Speaker 3: defend myself with a gun. No, what's the point.
- 24:39Speaker 1: The guy was so weird. He was like a weird guy.
- 24:41Speaker 1: He had like imagine like a skinny, skinny man with
- 24:46Speaker 1: long braids and kind of like smelly, kind of like
- 24:51Speaker 1: horder vibes, kind of like doomsday or.
- 24:54Speaker 3: I'm picturing that the people and children of men. You
- 24:57Speaker 3: ever see that movie.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's that's weir red block people. Yeah, kind
- 25:02Speaker 1: of a kind of a weird guy. But he kept
- 25:05Speaker 1: telling really overtly sexual jokes, and in any other context,
- 25:09Speaker 1: like I would be like shut up. But he had
- 25:12Speaker 1: a gun, right of course, there's nothing you can do.
- 25:14Speaker 1: So I had to just like listen. Like he was like,
- 25:16Speaker 1: this gun's like my dick like that, and we're all
- 25:19Speaker 1: just like ha ha, because he like fully has a gun.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Whatever you think, whatever your dick, Your dick is great,
- 25:27Speaker 1: dare we love your dick?
- 25:28Speaker 3: It's like crazy, how were you as a shot?
- 25:31Speaker 2: Bad?
- 25:32Speaker 1: Was? He got so angry at me because I just
- 25:37Speaker 1: kept I couldn't understand the shot, the target to the well,
- 25:42Speaker 1: there's on this gun itself. There's like a thing that
- 25:44Speaker 1: helped that You're supposed to like line up a little eyesight, right,
- 25:48Speaker 1: I couldn't. I couldn't understand. My brain wasn't comprhanding the
- 25:52Speaker 1: ice sight and so he was getting and he kept
- 25:54Speaker 1: jerking my hand with a loaded fucking block and I
- 25:58Speaker 1: was just like, what is opening right now? It was
- 26:02Speaker 1: so scary.
- 26:03Speaker 3: That's will you aim the gun down the barrel of
- 26:06Speaker 3: this let's both.
- 26:08Speaker 1: See if you're watching a video right now.
- 26:10Speaker 3: We're both we have our guns trained on you.
- 26:14Speaker 1: There we go.
- 26:16Speaker 3: You went to your first silent retreat and a gun
- 26:19Speaker 3: class in the same year.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I'm so unemployed. I'm doing I am doing God only, No,
- 26:24Speaker 1: I'm doing everything. I'm doing everything. I'm not working.
- 26:29Speaker 3: But good for you for actually using your time on something.
- 26:32Speaker 3: This is so much better than me.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I need to. You have a gorgeous successful podcast.
- 26:37Speaker 3: That's very sweetly, come on, this is what this is
- 26:40Speaker 3: an hour and a half a week. I should be
- 26:41Speaker 3: doing something.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Bags. Let's get you. Let's get you a gorgeous lueve
- 26:47Speaker 1: and you're gonna love it.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Oh, spending money stresses me out.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Well, I'm really frugal.
- 26:52Speaker 3: So interesting, you're torturing yourself.
- 26:58Speaker 1: What I'm learning is that rewards as are actually so
- 27:01Speaker 1: good for goals. Okay, So, like I reached a goal
- 27:05Speaker 1: and so I went shopping. I'm trying to I'm learning
- 27:10Speaker 1: rewards and I'm like ADHD.
- 27:12Speaker 3: This might listeners have diagnosed me with ADHD.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Okay, hello, hello brother.
- 27:19Speaker 3: This might actually be good for me because right now, basically,
- 27:22Speaker 3: the only reward for me doing anything is that my
- 27:24Speaker 3: life doesn't fall apart.
- 27:26Speaker 1: That's that's not good.
- 27:27Speaker 3: That's not a great reward. No survival, No, You've.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Got to get out of survival mode. And you got
- 27:32Speaker 1: to like like when when you set a goal for
- 27:34Speaker 1: yourself and you reach that goal, it's time to get
- 27:37Speaker 1: a reward, honey.
- 27:38Speaker 3: And when you say the reward for yourself, do you say,
- 27:39Speaker 3: and I can buy something that costs as much money
- 27:41Speaker 3: or is it this purse?
- 27:42Speaker 1: Or I said, like a designer okay, okay, a designer item.
- 27:46Speaker 1: And for me it was I struggled with cleaning, which
- 27:49Speaker 1: is a huge part of my ADHD. And I said,
- 27:52Speaker 1: if you deep clean your house and you do all
- 27:55Speaker 1: of it, you get you go, you get to go shopping.
- 27:58Speaker 1: And I did. I deep clean whole house and it
- 28:01Speaker 1: was really hard for me. My brain is I'm nerd, divirgin,
- 28:04Speaker 1: and I was like, okay, bitch, it's time to get
- 28:07Speaker 1: a fucking bag.
- 28:08Speaker 3: What does a deep clean involve for you?
- 28:11Speaker 1: Does it burn it down? Just burn the whole thing down?
- 28:15Speaker 1: Can I match? Do you clean for me? Is like
- 28:18Speaker 1: I my apartment was dirty, Like it was just like
- 28:22Speaker 1: the floorboard, you know, what are the things on the
- 28:24Speaker 1: side floorboard that's a floorboard? Some credit you know what floorboard? Yes,
- 28:29Speaker 1: my floorboards were dusty, get dirty, dirty. My bathtub was
- 28:36Speaker 1: kind of groedy, so I was I bought one of
- 28:39Speaker 1: those long scrubbers from TikTok motorized ones. Motorized. It gets
- 28:45Speaker 1: electroc and it's long, so it's like you're holding up
- 28:49Speaker 1: like a boom mic but it's a scrubber.
- 28:51Speaker 3: And I was, did you get it wet or is
- 28:54Speaker 3: it just like a duster?
- 28:55Speaker 1: Oh no, no, you get you get that baby wet
- 28:57Speaker 1: as hell, honey, and you put some soap in there,
- 29:00Speaker 1: and you're just like.
- 29:03Speaker 3: I'm interested in this, yes, because I like a deep clean.
- 29:05Speaker 3: We finally like started having a cleaner come like once
- 29:08Speaker 3: every six weeks.
- 29:09Speaker 1: I love that.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it feels incredible because I'm just like, I keep
- 29:13Speaker 3: thinking tidy, but I'm not good at like deep cleaning.
- 29:16Speaker 3: So yeah, it feels like that's a luxury where it's
- 29:18Speaker 3: like it feels like the house is new again.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I My place was so disorganized that I felt weird
- 29:25Speaker 1: about just even like inviting someone to clean it.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Right, because it's like, how is a stranger going to know?
- 29:30Speaker 1: How?
- 29:30Speaker 3: Its little weird with.
- 29:31Speaker 1: This, a little shameful. So now that it's like at
- 29:33Speaker 1: a great point, you know, ground zero if you will,
- 29:37Speaker 1: which I always love to say zero famously no dust
- 29:41Speaker 1: there no dustic ground zero.
- 29:46Speaker 3: I you know.
- 29:47Speaker 1: So anyways, I I'm ready to kind of maybe get
- 29:50Speaker 1: a cleaner every month.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a nice feeling some people have, like a
- 29:53Speaker 3: cleaner once a week.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 29:55Speaker 3: I feel like that ireson behavior. What are that's in
- 30:00Speaker 3: If you're making enough of a mess that you need
- 30:01Speaker 3: a cleaner once a week, it's time to take it,
- 30:03Speaker 3: just to evaluate what's going on in your life.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I would argue. I feel the same about meal services.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Oh interesting, like cook, just cook, bitch. I don't cook
- 30:14Speaker 3: at all.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Big pot of beans, big pot of beans, Sonny. It's
- 30:17Speaker 1: not that hard, you know, like you really like every
- 30:21Speaker 1: meal you need to have like delivery.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Oh, delivery is come. That's a non starter for me.
- 30:26Speaker 3: I do not have things delivered. If I'm going and
- 30:29Speaker 3: I do go out to eat dinner every single night, I.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Go, oh, that's that's different to me. Right. So I'm saying,
- 30:35Speaker 1: if you know those services where it's like a TV dinner, Yeah,
- 30:38Speaker 1: hundreds of dollars for a TV dinner. It's like, you know,
- 30:43Speaker 1: chicken sauce. It's like frozen, right, It's literally a TV dinner.
- 30:46Speaker 1: There's nothing how sad at least just.
- 30:49Speaker 3: To Trader Joe's and get there.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Come on, They're delicious, delicious.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Genuinely pretty good and so easy.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Yeah. Also fry delivery, of course I've done. Listen, I've
- 31:02Speaker 1: done grocery delivery.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Sure, and yeah, like there are circumstances where you need
- 31:06Speaker 3: things deliver.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I get that, but I will argue that the experience sucks,
- 31:12Speaker 1: like the person, the trust you have to put into
- 31:15Speaker 1: the stranger who doesn't give one fuck about getting.
- 31:18Speaker 3: You, and they probably shouldn't because they're making about thirty cents.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Why would they. It's a really oppressive system. Oh my god,
- 31:24Speaker 1: just go to Sprouts, Go to sprouts, get your blueberries.
- 31:29Speaker 1: I don't know, and I'm being crazy. No, I'm so unemployed.
- 31:33Speaker 1: The moment I start working, honey, it's gonna be like
- 31:35Speaker 1: I don't have everything deliver. I don't have time. I
- 31:37Speaker 1: don't have time deliver everything.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Every meal and a designer first deliver to your dog.
- 31:42Speaker 1: I'm just in a weird place where like I have
- 31:43Speaker 1: the time to just like do everything right. Yeah I do.
- 31:46Speaker 3: I mean I guess that is my current luxury that
- 31:48Speaker 3: I just have endless.
- 31:49Speaker 1: T What a luxury to just to lose your minds,
- 31:54Speaker 1: to lose your god damn mind.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Lose your mind, lose all sense of time and place.
- 31:58Speaker 3: It's just like I never know what I am, or
- 32:00Speaker 3: what time it is, what day it is. Forget it.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I tweeted the other day, I was like, like, I'll
- 32:05Speaker 1: always remember that incredible time were when artists were allowed
- 32:09Speaker 1: to work. I'm like, like, we were, we were, we
- 32:13Speaker 1: used to be allowed to work the golden years. Isn't
- 32:15Speaker 1: it amazing? And now we we're not allowed to work anymore?
- 32:18Speaker 3: No, no, no, forget. How dare you think about working?
- 32:21Speaker 1: It's insane. It's ridiculous. It is insane. What a fantasy
- 32:25Speaker 1: that would be.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Ah, well, look, I think there's something else we need
- 32:29Speaker 3: to talk about. I've been trying to avoid the subject
- 32:31Speaker 3: the entire time.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Okay, Nori. I was excited to have you here today.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 32:36Speaker 3: I thought, Norie'll come by, we'll have a lovely conversation,
- 32:40Speaker 3: talk guns.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Guns, ground zero, all that stuff.
- 32:44Speaker 3: And then we'll move on with our days. So it
- 32:46Speaker 3: was a little surprised when you showed up holding a gift.
- 32:51Speaker 1: What I mean, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna come
- 32:53Speaker 1: here or not have a gift.
- 32:55Speaker 3: I wouldn't even talking with the podcast is called I said,
- 32:57Speaker 3: no gifts, Nori. It feels like you're throwing something. You're
- 33:00Speaker 3: just throwing it in my face.
- 33:01Speaker 1: I was raised, right. If I'm going to go somewhere
- 33:03Speaker 1: for the first time, I'm going to bring the gift.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Okay, Well this time it didn't work out in your favor.
- 33:08Speaker 3: But I mean you're here. It's in kind of a
- 33:11Speaker 3: gorgeous bag.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Well, okay, talking about shopping.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Should we open it here on the show?
- 33:16Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I guess I went a little bit shopping
- 33:20Speaker 1: for you.
- 33:24Speaker 3: It's in this beautiful Gucci bag. Yeah, very high quality
- 33:28Speaker 3: gift bag.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I'll say yes.
- 33:31Speaker 3: So I'm going to reach in here, okay, pulling out
- 33:34Speaker 3: something and it looks like it's a so far, it
- 33:39Speaker 3: looks like it's a used COVID test.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Is it?
- 33:42Speaker 3: Is there a COVID test?
- 33:43Speaker 1: Well, they do too too, So there's one.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't believe you're giving me one of these.
- 33:48Speaker 3: When I get two of these and I use, I
- 33:51Speaker 3: feel like I'll use one and then I get a
- 33:52Speaker 3: little treat for later the next time I.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Have, but I wanted to give you the treat. Why
- 33:57Speaker 1: did you bring this? Well, you know, even though we
- 33:59Speaker 1: never were talking about COVID, still is real still that
- 34:03Speaker 1: you can get this year. But more than that, it
- 34:09Speaker 1: just was kind of in my house. And I don't
- 34:12Speaker 1: I don't believe in COVID.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Oh, you're right, you're kind of famously sorry.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I forgot to say that. I don't believe in cook
- 34:18Speaker 1: I never did. No, you never did, never did got
- 34:20Speaker 1: it four times. Don't believe it. I don't believe it. Oh,
- 34:24Speaker 1: it's the Chinese curse, the Chinese curse. So sorry, I'm
- 34:28Speaker 1: koreating so I can say that, but uh, you know,
- 34:32Speaker 1: I just don't believe in it. And I kind of
- 34:34Speaker 1: I used one as a as a gag. I had
- 34:37Speaker 1: a dinner. Yeah, I at a dinner party. It's like
- 34:42Speaker 1: put the swap in my nose and everyone was laughing.
- 34:46Speaker 1: So I used one. But then I have one laughed.
- 34:48Speaker 1: The joke is over for you. I don't want to.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Yeah, novelty is no longer there. Yeah, when was the
- 34:53Speaker 3: last time you had COVID?
- 34:57Speaker 1: I had, I did get cooked. Well, the test came
- 35:00Speaker 1: back negative. But I got something bad. I did a
- 35:04Speaker 1: stand up tour, not to brag seven cities, honey, thank you,
- 35:10Speaker 1: thank you. It was really hard, actually hate to sell tickets.
- 35:15Speaker 1: The economy is collapsing. So I got something on the
- 35:19Speaker 1: plane because from Chicago to LA specifically Burbank, we're so
- 35:22Speaker 1: close okay to the airport.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Uh.
- 35:25Speaker 1: The woman in front of me looked like absolute death,
- 35:30Speaker 1: and I was just kind of like, oh, this feels weird.
- 35:33Speaker 1: The flight takes off, she keeps going to the bathroom
- 35:37Speaker 1: over and over again, and I have my headphones on,
- 35:39Speaker 1: I'm not really paying attention. But soon they tape off
- 35:43Speaker 1: the bathroom and I'm like, oh, that's kind of weird.
- 35:47Speaker 1: She's ghost white. They start go doing the is there
- 35:51Speaker 1: a doctor on We would like a doctor on board.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Literally they had to give her an IVY one. They're
- 35:58Speaker 1: a doctor on board. The Wow, she's actually sitting next
- 36:02Speaker 1: to me, which is crazy. That's a miracle for the city.
- 36:05Speaker 1: And she was a woman.
- 36:07Speaker 3: I don't Bridger, Sorry, COVID spake to you women doctors
- 36:14Speaker 3: never seen one never will.
- 36:18Speaker 1: I'm so upset. I'm cofing you're getting COVID. But she
- 36:21Speaker 1: it's what's I didn't realize that you have to prove
- 36:24Speaker 1: you're a doctor. Did you know that?
- 36:26Speaker 3: Becausebody, it's my moment.
- 36:32Speaker 1: So she had to show them her there's a they
- 36:34Speaker 1: all have doctor cards.
- 36:36Speaker 3: I had no idea there was a doctor's license.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Yes, and it has a serial number that they type
- 36:40Speaker 1: into a computer that.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Makes perfect sense that I've never thought about.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Never thought about that. So she proves she's a doctor.
- 36:46Speaker 1: She administers an ivy because at this point, this woman
- 36:49Speaker 1: has vomited so many times that she's like, right, yeah,
- 36:54Speaker 1: And so it was so scary. I'm not really articulating
- 36:57Speaker 1: how scary it was, because it looked like she was
- 37:00Speaker 1: to die.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:00Speaker 3: You were almost like flying through the air with a
- 37:02Speaker 3: dead body basically.
- 37:04Speaker 1: And it's like a part of me was like, how
- 37:06Speaker 1: selfish drift toodle be that sick and still.
- 37:10Speaker 3: Weird going to that's so important?
- 37:12Speaker 1: And I will say the guy next to her was
- 37:16Speaker 1: pretty ungracious and and kind of angry, and him and
- 37:20Speaker 1: the flight attendant, a male flight attendant, caught to a
- 37:23Speaker 1: huge fight over what. He was like, she's dying, and
- 37:27Speaker 1: you're pissed. You're pissed she's dying. He's like, I want
- 37:31Speaker 1: to move, I want to move and he's like, there's
- 37:33Speaker 1: no other seats. He's like, I want to move. I
- 37:35Speaker 1: don't want to sit here.
- 37:37Speaker 3: I mean, I kind of can't blame. Everyone's a victim
- 37:40Speaker 3: because this woman had to get to on her vacation.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Yeah, and so like the whole thing was so dramatic.
- 37:47Speaker 1: I'm just like, this is crazy. And then when I
- 37:50Speaker 1: got home, I was sicker than I have ever been.
- 37:53Speaker 1: I think she gave me whatever she had and I
- 37:57Speaker 1: was so sick it took me months to recover. Oh,
- 38:01Speaker 1: it was long COVID vibes where a nervous system was
- 38:05Speaker 1: fucked up. Like I was dizzy. I was like tired
- 38:09Speaker 1: all the time. And but it was but I don't
- 38:13Speaker 1: believe in COVID son it was something. I think it
- 38:16Speaker 1: was something depression, something you.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Were going through a rough patch.
- 38:20Speaker 1: It was a rough patch. But this woman, I don't know.
- 38:23Speaker 1: And whenever we got off the plane, there was a
- 38:25Speaker 1: you know, ambulance.
- 38:28Speaker 3: What was going And I assume no one on the
- 38:30Speaker 3: plane got to use the bathroom the whole time. No
- 38:32Speaker 3: so bladders were damaged. I'm sure somebody walked away with
- 38:35Speaker 3: the UTI.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:37Speaker 3: I mean the damage that this woman did will be
- 38:39Speaker 3: felt for centuries.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I felt bad for her, and I also was annoyed
- 38:43Speaker 1: that she got on that plane. That's very sweet of you.
- 38:46Speaker 3: I think I'll just annoyed unless maybe the sickness really
- 38:51Speaker 3: just crept up on this lady might be like you
- 38:53Speaker 3: usually have.
- 38:55Speaker 1: She looked before the plane took off. She looked really bad,
- 38:59Speaker 1: and I could tell that she was one of those
- 39:00Speaker 1: things where she's like, I just want to get to
- 39:02Speaker 1: like wherever I'm trying to get to right. And you know,
- 39:05Speaker 1: I'm sure. I'm sure she had some sort of pageant
- 39:08Speaker 1: or something she had to do.
- 39:11Speaker 3: She's now missed Chicago.
- 39:12Speaker 1: She was Miss Chicago. Let's get okay, not to name drop.
- 39:15Speaker 1: This was crowned miss. This was Miss Chicago. And she
- 39:18Speaker 1: was going to Burbank. Yes, she was going to Burbank.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, well like famously crown Miss Chicago in the
- 39:26Speaker 3: Burbank area.
- 39:27Speaker 1: And it's a beautiful affair.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Oh, I mean it's a pat, It's a true pat.
- 39:32Speaker 1: It's at the Guy Ferrari restaurant and it's beautiful.
- 39:37Speaker 3: It's is that a restaurant hour?
- 39:38Speaker 1: Is it still a cart? They they have seeds? Good
- 39:43Speaker 1: for him? Good for him?
- 39:45Speaker 3: Does he still have the show. I feel like he
- 39:47Speaker 3: spent to every diner, dive and drive in.
- 39:50Speaker 1: He's got like billions of dollars, right, he's so I
- 39:53Speaker 1: think he's like a multi millionaire.
- 39:54Speaker 3: Is Dump's part of the diver diners, drive ins and dives.
- 39:59Speaker 3: He had dumb diners, dive in, diners, drive ins, dives,
- 40:04Speaker 3: and dumps. You should start going to dumps.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Pitch that pitch that that's really good.
- 40:11Speaker 3: The dumpsy goes to will just replaces bad food, bad atmosphere,
- 40:14Speaker 3: fix them up. Oh interesting, right, it becomes one of
- 40:19Speaker 3: those renovation shows. Oh yeah, I like those shows. What
- 40:24Speaker 3: is it Restaurant Impossible or something. I watched one where
- 40:27Speaker 3: they were serving muskrat. This restaurant in Pennsylvania was serving
- 40:31Speaker 3: muskrat on the menu.
- 40:32Speaker 1: What is a muskrat? It's like a beaver. It's like
- 40:34Speaker 1: a beaver mixed with the rat.
- 40:38Speaker 3: They're terrifying looking and they're like, swimming was delicious. They
- 40:43Speaker 3: didn't say it was delicious. I think that was it
- 40:45Speaker 3: was probably one of the problems at the restaurant. Serving
- 40:47Speaker 3: the road and that's been in a freezer.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Was you say a Pennsylvania, Yeah, this is Pennsylvania. I
- 40:53Speaker 1: think one of my favorite stops was for the tour
- 40:56Speaker 1: was Pittsburgh. Oh, I've never performed before. It was so amazing.
- 41:00Speaker 3: What about it was so amazing, The crowd was.
- 41:02Speaker 1: It was at a comedy bar. That's like people who
- 41:05Speaker 1: go there love comedy. The bottle rocket, shout out bottle Rocket.
- 41:09Speaker 1: They started by two comedians. It's just like a comedy
- 41:12Speaker 1: lover's kind of like place. So they were so gracious
- 41:17Speaker 1: or whatever. But something funny that happened is on stage
- 41:22Speaker 1: I was I started doing this bit that started happening
- 41:25Speaker 1: during the tour. This might have been my fourth stop
- 41:27Speaker 1: or something where I make fun of Billy Porter. Okay,
- 41:32Speaker 1: because I talked about Cabaret and this was the time
- 41:35Speaker 1: when Billy Porter was doing the MC character like really bad,
- 41:41Speaker 1: like like have you seen clips? No, it's bad. I
- 41:44Speaker 1: need to look this up. It's Billy imagined Billy Porter
- 41:47Speaker 1: and then talking about the Holocaust like that's kind of
- 41:51Speaker 1: what's happening. So I'm making fun and the crowd, which
- 41:54Speaker 1: previously had been like really into it, they go silent.
- 41:58Speaker 1: They turned on you, and I'm I'm like, this is weird.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Finally someone's like he's from here. Oh, no. Oh yeah,
- 42:09Speaker 1: they were like, we have Billy Boyd, Like he not
- 42:11Speaker 1: only is our hometown hero, he comes back all the
- 42:15Speaker 1: time and hangs out with people. So they were like
- 42:20Speaker 1: kind of pissed off a family member. They were pissed.
- 42:22Speaker 1: That's understand How can I have ever anticipated that?
- 42:25Speaker 3: Did you come back from him? Yeah?
- 42:26Speaker 1: I came back from that. I talked about because they
- 42:28Speaker 1: have beautiful bridges, bridges.
- 42:33Speaker 3: The funicular thing, the thing from mister Rogers neighborhood.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Did you ride that thing? I passed it in my
- 42:40Speaker 1: car on the left.
- 42:42Speaker 3: I rode that thing.
- 42:43Speaker 1: What a thrill. That was the highlight of my entire trip.
- 42:46Speaker 1: Kind of goes to nowhere. Yeah, Pittsburgh is really pretty.
- 42:49Speaker 1: I was obsessed.
- 42:50Speaker 3: It's kind of picturesque as far as like a like.
- 42:53Speaker 1: A medieval town. That's what I was giving to me.
- 42:56Speaker 3: It feels very uh heavy, you know, like the building substantial,
- 43:01Speaker 3: I would say.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Yes, and a lot of green.
- 43:04Speaker 3: I mean, anytime I get out of LA and I
- 43:06Speaker 3: see trees, like wow, this.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Is I didn't I don't know what I anticipated, but
- 43:09Speaker 1: it wasn't like these gorgeous like hills and mountains and right,
- 43:13Speaker 1: it was just really beautiful don't make fun Billy Porter,
- 43:17Speaker 1: because they will come for you.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean and rightfully, So you got to stand
- 43:22Speaker 3: up for your guy. I guess, do you remember the
- 43:26Speaker 3: first time you had COVID?
- 43:28Speaker 1: I I don't. I've never tested positive for COVID. Wow.
- 43:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I I feel like I'm one of those people
- 43:36Speaker 3: who claims that they had it very early on.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Like patient zero.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I am that person who claims I am the
- 43:45Speaker 3: first person who get h I put it in a briefcase,
- 43:49Speaker 3: carried it here. No, I like February of twenty twenty.
- 43:54Speaker 3: I have never been sicker, and you know, like fever
- 43:58Speaker 3: where I'm like lying on the shower floor, every sickness possible,
- 44:02Speaker 3: and I had no idea and I had been traveling,
- 44:04Speaker 3: so I think, you know, I might as well claim it.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Why not. Yeah, I was an early Yeah, very cheap.
- 44:10Speaker 1: You're like one of the first people.
- 44:12Speaker 3: I'm strong, I'm able to power through.
- 44:14Speaker 1: These things and helped it mutate.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Yes, I helped it mut Yes, and I've probably spread
- 44:19Speaker 3: it to a lot of people.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Yes, yes, No, I can't believe I never tested positive
- 44:23Speaker 1: because over the past couple of few years, of course
- 44:25Speaker 1: I've been sick, but I think it's in the flu
- 44:29Speaker 1: or like. But I was pretty really, I was pretty
- 44:32Speaker 1: intense about COVID shots. Okay, yes, and I got a
- 44:37Speaker 1: little gloraphobic for a minute, which helps, which helps a
- 44:40Speaker 1: lot helps, I mean in some ways another way that
- 44:43Speaker 1: hurts a lot, of course, of course, but I generally
- 44:46Speaker 1: I don't think I ever tested positive.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Maybe you're just very lucky.
- 44:50Speaker 1: I am Korean, so maybe there's a thing Korean luck.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Korean luck. And also it's a Chinese virus.
- 44:56Speaker 3: It's kind of not right, it's not sticking.
- 45:00Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 45:01Speaker 3: There's something there that feels like science.
- 45:03Speaker 1: There's a science there that I'm not quite understanding yet.
- 45:05Speaker 1: But some if you're a scientist, will you call in
- 45:09Speaker 1: and help me.
- 45:10Speaker 3: Fifty years from now, the research will prove whatever your.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Fly said that Korean people, for whatever reason didn't get COVID.
- 45:17Speaker 3: People will look back and say Nori was kind of
- 45:19Speaker 3: a pioneer.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Yes, I think the Qrean barbecue is a part of this,
- 45:23Speaker 1: because we eat a lot of Crean barbecue. I think
- 45:25Speaker 1: there's like the charcoal of the charcoal, there's something there.
- 45:29Speaker 3: I love that charcoal flavor. Oh, why isn't it just
- 45:32Speaker 3: applied to all meat.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Right, we should have charcoal in our home somehow.
- 45:36Speaker 3: Oh, to have a little charcoal, Yeah, because.
- 45:38Speaker 1: We just have our stupid fucking gasto.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Elect dangerous, that gas leaks, forget it, seriously, and the
- 45:46Speaker 3: electric you're not getting any taste. I bet somebody's got
- 45:49Speaker 3: a charcoal grill.
- 45:51Speaker 1: I know.
- 45:51Speaker 3: I was watching the remember the Queen of Versailles lady,
- 45:55Speaker 3: she had a reality show for a period, another one
- 45:59Speaker 3: she had the document which was tastefully done, and then
- 46:02Speaker 3: the family sprung for a reality show which was like
- 46:05Speaker 3: TLC level quality, okay, And she was trying to get
- 46:08Speaker 3: what she was calling a Benny Hannah kitchen in the
- 46:11Speaker 3: Queen of Versailles, and apparently that's something you have to
- 46:13Speaker 3: have a license for as kind of like if you're
- 46:16Speaker 3: a doctor. And she was never able to get that
- 46:19Speaker 3: into her home. But she's got the money to have
- 46:20Speaker 3: a charcoal grill.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Yes, did you ever complete her home?
- 46:24Speaker 3: No, it's still still under construction.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Oh my god, that thing is.
- 46:31Speaker 3: I don't understand what's happening. That's someone whose brain has broken,
- 46:35Speaker 3: and what is the what's she trying to fix? There's
- 46:40Speaker 3: something that she'll never fix.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Her husband, is he alive?
- 46:44Speaker 3: Rip's I'm sure it's a very Florida Trump family that
- 46:51Speaker 3: got so much money. They do like time shares. I'm
- 46:54Speaker 3: sure there's some level of scam involved. But he died
- 46:58Speaker 3: pretty recently. But she soldiers on.
- 47:02Speaker 1: How do you feel about Quiet Piggy, Quiet Piggy. Well,
- 47:05Speaker 1: you know what Trump said to the reporter.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Oh, that's just recent. Yes, I've been seeing quiet Piggy.
- 47:09Speaker 3: I was wondering with it.
- 47:10Speaker 1: That was iconic. I hate that.
- 47:12Speaker 3: He's so funny, he said to a reporter, Quiet Piggy,
- 47:16Speaker 3: Quiet Piggy. This guy is the devil.
- 47:19Speaker 1: And here's a twist. She's skinny.
- 47:21Speaker 3: I saw photos not in his eyes, Quiet Piggy, Quiet Piggy,
- 47:27Speaker 3: Where did he pull that from?
- 47:29Speaker 1: He's like, God, he's so good, he's so good. I
- 47:36Speaker 1: hate it.
- 47:36Speaker 3: It's horrible.
- 47:37Speaker 1: It's the worst.
- 47:38Speaker 3: I mean it's truly. I mean like it's just a
- 47:41Speaker 3: chaos machine. So whatever's coming out of his brain. She's like, well,
- 47:43Speaker 3: that's something i've never heard before. Yeah, never heard a
- 47:46Speaker 3: person say to another person, quiet Piggy, Quiet, Just how
- 47:51Speaker 3: did you respond?
- 47:52Speaker 1: I don't know, I've never saw her. Part of this the.
- 47:56Speaker 3: Fact that nobody's ever like lunged at him.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Yes, you know, he says the craziest ship to people,
- 48:01Speaker 1: and they just like are.
- 48:02Speaker 3: Silent, right, Like if you were to say that to
- 48:05Speaker 3: someone in a bar, that would probably lead to some
- 48:06Speaker 3: sort of altercation. Yes, And the fact that he's never
- 48:10Speaker 3: been at least publicly punched in the face. It is
- 48:13Speaker 3: crazy beyond somebody's got it private.
- 48:17Speaker 1: Someone's punched him for sure.
- 48:18Speaker 3: Yeah, but he probably paid for it or something.
- 48:20Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 48:20Speaker 1: I wow, quiet Piggy.
- 48:23Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Also, all those guys have bad dicks. Oh, it's all
- 48:28Speaker 1: come out. Epstein has a lemon dick or an egg
- 48:31Speaker 1: an egg. One of the victims said that it's like
- 48:33Speaker 1: an egg. Trump has the what did Stormy Daniel say?
- 48:38Speaker 3: I can't remember room.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Yes, And then who's the third guy? There's a Diddy
- 48:42Speaker 1: has a weird day? Oh yeah, of course.
- 48:43Speaker 3: It's like it starts to add up where it's just
- 48:46Speaker 3: like I have to force sex on people.
- 48:48Speaker 1: It's just like we never mind, never mind.
- 48:53Speaker 3: Now that every listener has gagged up their breakfast.
- 48:56Speaker 1: I guess, okay, if this isn't appropriate, cut this not
- 49:03Speaker 1: to break the fourth wall. I can't wait to hear,
- 49:06Speaker 1: but like, if society made it a better place for
- 49:09Speaker 1: guys to have weird dicks, do you think it would
- 49:11Speaker 1: be less violence.
- 49:13Speaker 3: That's a great question that we'll never have answered, I guess,
- 49:17Speaker 3: which is unfortunate. It's a good thought exercise though, or
- 49:23Speaker 3: like a great piece of speculative fiction. Maybe that's your
- 49:26Speaker 3: young adult novel.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Young adults, honey, m mmm.
- 49:34Speaker 3: You just find different words to kind of describe these
- 49:36Speaker 3: things to make it more pg.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Thirteen.
- 49:39Speaker 3: And then you've got the next Hungry Hunger Games, Hungry.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Games, Hungry Games. That another yeary show Hungry Games. Did
- 49:47Speaker 1: you see the trailer for the new Hunger Game?
- 49:48Speaker 3: There's another Hunger Game.
- 49:51Speaker 1: For it's a prequel about Hamage Hamage, Hamage Hamage. Hey,
- 49:58Speaker 1: I think Camadge, Amen, Mitch Image, Mitch. I feel like
- 50:05Speaker 1: the author of the Hunger Games and J. K. Ralling
- 50:08Speaker 1: they went to the same raling was the author?
- 50:12Speaker 2: No?
- 50:13Speaker 1: No, Because the way they name their characters is so stupid.
- 50:16Speaker 3: They probably went to a workshop.
- 50:17Speaker 1: They went to the same workshop because it's like, yeah,
- 50:19Speaker 1: snow bottom snow, It's like bird, sparrow man, It's like
- 50:25Speaker 1: what the what.
- 50:26Speaker 3: They like to describe basically, what the character is.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Through, then it's like it's must that's that's the most
- 50:31Speaker 1: lazy literary device ever in my life.
- 50:35Speaker 3: But look it's working. It's working. Cho Chang, I mean,
- 50:40Speaker 3: j Ling is just a disaster.
- 50:43Speaker 1: One of the black characters in Harry Potters is like
- 50:45Speaker 1: shackle shackle Oh boy, shackles shackle bought. Yes, it's like
- 50:51Speaker 1: Martin Luther King shackle Bot. It's like, girl, if you
- 50:55Speaker 1: don't like come up with this stuff, that's crazy work
- 50:59Speaker 1: right there. She's very creative. If not Martin Luther King
- 51:02Speaker 1: Shackles box like it's literally something I swear to God
- 51:05Speaker 1: and something like that. I well, someone look it up.
- 51:07Speaker 3: There are a lot of bad a lot of things
- 51:09Speaker 3: within the Harry Botter novels. You look back and you're like, wow,
- 51:12Speaker 3: that's just she basically just took a Easley shackle Bolt
- 51:17Speaker 3: Kingsley shackle Bolt, like you were not that far.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I was not that far off. I was not that
- 51:25Speaker 1: far off.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Maybe AI should be writing books.
- 51:28Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe do you think the bubble is
- 51:32Speaker 1: gonna burst? I think so. I think so.
- 51:35Speaker 3: I think that it's because I and every time I
- 51:38Speaker 3: start talking about AI start to feel like, oh, I'm
- 51:40Speaker 3: taking AI's side, and I don't, but I do think
- 51:43Speaker 3: it does some things well, things that don't require any
- 51:45Speaker 3: level of creativity or human touch. Basically being a calculator,
- 51:49Speaker 3: because that's what that's what it is. It's math, basically,
- 51:53Speaker 3: but the elements all the other things. Like I think
- 51:56Speaker 3: that somebody is going to try to make movies and
- 51:58Speaker 3: TV shows and whatever, but they're going to be bad,
- 52:02Speaker 3: and like this whole what's her name, Nelly, Nelly tor
- 52:06Speaker 3: would what's her name?
- 52:07Speaker 1: Tilly Norwood.
- 52:09Speaker 3: It's like part of the reason people love celebrities is
- 52:12Speaker 3: because it's a human being. They think they could be
- 52:13Speaker 3: friends with. Yeah, and the scandals and the scandals all
- 52:17Speaker 3: of like.
- 52:17Speaker 1: She gotta have a scandal, Tilly.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Yeah, Tilly is not going to have any of those
- 52:21Speaker 3: things because we know it's all fake. So I just,
- 52:24Speaker 3: I mean, maybe I could be wrong, but I think
- 52:26Speaker 3: it's going to burst and it's going to ruin the
- 52:28Speaker 3: United States economy.
- 52:29Speaker 1: And keeping that it's going to completely fuck up.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Everything right, and it's going to grow and grow and grow,
- 52:36Speaker 3: and then all that money which doesn't exist will disappear,
- 52:40Speaker 3: and then people like you and me will and everyone
- 52:43Speaker 3: that's not literally one of a hundred billionaires will suffer
- 52:47Speaker 3: for you don't know me. I'm a lot of luxury shopping.
- 52:51Speaker 1: I'm I didn't disclose, but I'm a billionaire.
- 52:53Speaker 3: You brought this half a COVID kit in a Gucci bag.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't listen. I have a lot of Gucci bags.
- 53:01Speaker 3: But yeah, I do think that eventually then well it'll
- 53:04Speaker 3: all like shrink down to oh well, we can use
- 53:06Speaker 3: it for these things.
- 53:07Speaker 1: But even the things that I was supposed to be
- 53:09Speaker 1: good at, I think it's terrible at. Like I had
- 53:12Speaker 1: to get a work repair done for my apartment. Uh huh,
- 53:14Speaker 1: and unbeknownst to me, my property management company switched to
- 53:18Speaker 1: an AI bot. It was horrible, of course. It was
- 53:22Speaker 1: like I was like, what was it? I was like
- 53:24Speaker 1: tub reglazing, it needs to be reglazed. They're like, where
- 53:28Speaker 1: is the leak? There is no leak? Show me where
- 53:32Speaker 1: the leak is no leak? Actually, hmmm, interesting, so leak
- 53:38Speaker 1: And it's like it was.
- 53:39Speaker 3: A leak, right because like that's the one thing that's
- 53:42Speaker 3: been programmed as far as glazing goes.
- 53:44Speaker 1: And it was just like leak, leak, leak, And I
- 53:45Speaker 1: was like, there is no leak and it was psycho.
- 53:49Speaker 3: That's the only thing that apartment complex will solve.
- 53:52Speaker 1: They care about. Yeah, it's just like, yeah, if.
- 53:54Speaker 3: The lights are out or whatever other problem, who cares.
- 53:56Speaker 3: If there's water damage, yeah, they want to take care
- 53:59Speaker 3: of it.
- 54:00Speaker 1: So it's all designed, I guess on purpose to kind
- 54:02Speaker 1: of frustrate you out of right of doing anything, to
- 54:04Speaker 1: just break you and then just live. And yes, and
- 54:06Speaker 1: also cevs. Now you can't get a person on the
- 54:08Speaker 1: phone for the pharmacy. It's all ai horrible.
- 54:11Speaker 3: This starts to make me feel like a total senior
- 54:14Speaker 3: citizen when I start complaining about not being able to
- 54:16Speaker 3: get anyone on the phone.
- 54:17Speaker 1: No, it's not because we're old. It's because it's like,
- 54:19Speaker 1: it's fucking horrible.
- 54:21Speaker 3: I want to be able to call a restaurant. Yes,
- 54:23Speaker 3: I want to say what time do you close?
- 54:25Speaker 1: I want to yell at it being. I want to harass.
- 54:29Speaker 1: I want to sexually harass a human person.
- 54:32Speaker 3: I want to get a human being fired. I don't
- 54:35Speaker 3: want a computer shut down.
- 54:36Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about computer and a muffin.
- 54:39Speaker 1: I don't want to talk to a human girl and say,
- 54:41Speaker 1: tell me about that muffin. Bitch, tell you how round
- 54:45Speaker 1: does the top of that muffin?
- 54:48Speaker 3: No, I really do, like, I really appreciate being able
- 54:50Speaker 3: to call a place and just have because sometimes I
- 54:53Speaker 3: have a question.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Yes, what are these questions?
- 54:56Speaker 3: Sometimes I know it's a holiday, you guys open to
- 54:59Speaker 3: You didn't update your help which you shouldn't have to,
- 55:01Speaker 3: of course, and you don't have it on your Instagram.
- 55:03Speaker 3: So I need to ask somebody. Yeah, do you what's
- 55:06Speaker 3: on the specials today? I probably would never ask that,
- 55:08Speaker 3: but I should be able to.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Has a Sydney Sweeney ever dined there? Yes? Question, I
- 55:14Speaker 1: need to.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Know is she there right now?
- 55:16Speaker 1: Right now?
- 55:16Speaker 3: I'm on my way. See, that's the thing that would
- 55:18Speaker 3: be valuable for a phone call.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Have you ever been to uh? It was close to
- 55:23Speaker 1: where we got lunch. It's an Eco rock. It's a
- 55:27Speaker 1: steakhouse place, duns.
- 55:29Speaker 3: More, Dunsmore's been. I went just recently, a.
- 55:31Speaker 1: Couple of months ago. I had a bat my last
- 55:34Speaker 1: week there was really bad. It was bad. What happened.
- 55:36Speaker 1: The waiter was diabolically me like and to the point
- 55:40Speaker 1: where I was so I was just like, he was
- 55:44Speaker 1: horrible to us. What was he doing? So we ordered
- 55:47Speaker 1: the corn bread. Oh delicious, right.
- 55:50Speaker 3: Right now, let's just say, dunsmore, you owe both of
- 55:52Speaker 3: us a meal.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Please, if you're listening, done more, do better.
- 55:56Speaker 3: So we don't reach out.
- 55:57Speaker 1: Okay, we ordered the corn brothers, three of us.
- 55:59Speaker 3: That's very good.
- 56:00Speaker 1: It's very good. We get everything except of the corner.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Butd we go, that's whatever. So we can't find We
- 56:05Speaker 1: don't see our waiter anywhere. So we you know, someone
- 56:08Speaker 1: comes over. We go, hi, so sorry you're not our server,
- 56:10Speaker 1: but we did order the corner, but can you just
- 56:13Speaker 1: checking on it? She's like, oh, of course, of course.
- 56:14Speaker 1: She goes away, never comes back, right, never gone back.
- 56:17Speaker 1: So our server kind of comes over. I see him,
- 56:20Speaker 1: so I go and please tell is this tell me
- 56:22Speaker 1: if this is rude?
- 56:23Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, this is a great I love to just
- 56:25Speaker 3: get an objective viewpoint on this.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Sort of Okay, I'm gonna gonna do it, and you
- 56:28Speaker 1: tell me. Okay, okay, is that rude?
- 56:31Speaker 3: Oh oh your behavior?
- 56:32Speaker 1: Yeah, no that's not.
- 56:33Speaker 3: And so just if you're just listening, nor just like
- 56:36Speaker 3: politely put up her hand like over here, which people
- 56:40Speaker 3: frequently do at restaurants, just because sometimes the server gets
- 56:43Speaker 3: too busy and you think oh, maybe I could catch
- 56:45Speaker 3: with eye contact.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Yeah, not like a not a like finger.
- 56:49Speaker 3: I'm here servant. No.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Immediately he rolls his eyes and I go, oh my god,
- 56:55Speaker 1: he rolls his eyes and I'm sensitive. I'm a sensitive sure.
- 56:58Speaker 1: So he comes over before I anything. He goes, you
- 57:00Speaker 1: didn't order it, oh, And I was like, oh, oh, oh, well,
- 57:05Speaker 1: oh god. I was like I thought we did, and
- 57:07Speaker 1: he was he I would have written it down, and
- 57:09Speaker 1: he and he pulls out his notepad and goes and whoa,
- 57:14Speaker 1: and like, I guess I should back up. He was
- 57:17Speaker 1: not nice at any point of the night. It's very expensive.
- 57:21Speaker 1: It's a very nice a.
- 57:22Speaker 3: Nice restaurant where you expect a decent experience because you're like,
- 57:25Speaker 3: I'm paying a little extra, so hopefully it's been good.
- 57:28Speaker 1: A part of it. And so he when he was
- 57:32Speaker 1: taking our order, he wasn't really like engaged in any way.
- 57:37Speaker 1: And and so one of my friends very sweetly stood
- 57:41Speaker 1: up for me and was like, no, we we did.
- 57:44Speaker 1: We we did order it, and he goes, no, you
- 57:46Speaker 1: did it. So at this point it's not even about
- 57:49Speaker 1: it's like this this like argument of who.
- 57:52Speaker 3: He's breaking like a the most basic business rules of
- 57:55Speaker 3: the customers.
- 57:57Speaker 1: And so so the third person and goes, oh, okay,
- 58:01Speaker 1: well maybe say we didn't say we didn't, but do
- 58:03Speaker 1: you mind if we could we could get we wanted
- 58:05Speaker 1: the And he's like, well you didn't order it, and
- 58:08Speaker 1: we're like, okay, okay, okay, you win, you win.
- 58:14Speaker 3: Sir, you didn't make a mistake today that.
- 58:16Speaker 1: You didn't make a mistake. And for the rest of
- 58:19Speaker 1: the night he was so passive aggressive. Oh God, would
- 58:24Speaker 1: technically do his job, but in a way that was
- 58:26Speaker 1: so ungracious. Would and then would talk to the people
- 58:30Speaker 1: around us graciously as a way to like to like
- 58:34Speaker 1: kind of show our face that he can be nice,
- 58:36Speaker 1: that he can be nice. And it was so weird.
- 58:41Speaker 3: He's only making more work for himself.
- 58:43Speaker 1: It was strange, and it clearly had nothing to do
- 58:46Speaker 1: with us. He must have had a bad day. It
- 58:49Speaker 1: had nothing to do with us.
- 58:50Speaker 3: But but he kind of targeted you. Yes, he took
- 58:55Speaker 3: this table is a table I'm going to make a
- 58:57Speaker 3: horrible evening.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Yeah, wow, how fascinating. I think he was gay.
- 59:02Speaker 3: Oh he must have been.
- 59:03Speaker 1: We hate him.
- 59:04Speaker 3: We're trying to get rid of the gays, I keep saying.
- 59:07Speaker 1: In this political environment, to still be that mean as
- 59:09Speaker 1: a gay person. It's so funny. It's like the government's
- 59:12Speaker 1: trying to kill you and you still are like, no, no, no, I'm.
- 59:14Speaker 3: Gonna I'm gonna be horrible to be a bad person. Yeah, yeah,
- 59:18Speaker 3: there's did you get the corn bread?
- 59:21Speaker 1: We did, but.
- 59:23Speaker 3: But it was probably after all it was before the.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Whole thing was so stressful that it was just like
- 59:28Speaker 1: this is.
- 59:29Speaker 3: Dumb, right, the corn bread should come as an appetizer, yeah,
- 59:32Speaker 3: and be a little nice, little treat before and.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Then like I went on verbal because.
- 59:36Speaker 3: I was like so like yeah, it's like, well I tried.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Its gross and it's kind of ruined the vibe.
- 59:42Speaker 3: That's I'm in that territory of being sensitive where it's
- 59:45Speaker 3: like I start to choke up. I tried to talk
- 59:48Speaker 3: and now I'm like, oh, now I'm being bullied.
- 59:49Speaker 1: And I felt bullied and I felt so unwelcome at restaurant.
- 59:54Speaker 3: And you still know at the end of the meal
- 59:55Speaker 3: you're gonna have to pay for so expensive.
- 59:58Speaker 1: So anyways, if you're duns More, make it right.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: It's time for Dunsmore to make it right. It's an
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: excellent restaurant.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: It's so good. I was going to try to chili.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I heard that the beef stew chili.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Yes, it's so good. Chili vernet, Yes, and I apparently
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: they have great tortillas.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Have a new bean based its.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: Oh see, if we don't get me out of this,
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: what are we doing?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Any of this we got I'd be able to go
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: back to dunsmore. Apparently I heard some tea is not tea.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I don't know why I framed it so salaciously. The
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: neighbors hate them because they now there's no one to park.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Oh that makes sense. They used to be able to
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: park anywhere, and now there's no parking.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: It's a hard place to park.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: I feel like that about so many LA neighborhoods, where
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: it's just like the planning doesn't make any sense, which
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: is like, this is a house next to the most
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: popular restaurant in town, what was anyone thinking? But at
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: least I mean, I think all parking should be free.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: I don't think there should ever be a zone, but
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: I think in certain situations it's like, well, this should
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: be for the people who live here.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Yes, you should run for office.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: I'm starting today.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: I started with we should get rid of all gay
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: people and second, we'll have some different parking rules.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: And COVID was never real. Okay, and Trump is good.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Trump good, You're the new like gay for Trump with
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: those oh my god, I got George Santos.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: All the worst people alive.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: It kind of worked out for him though, because he
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: got out of prison. It did. Yeah, he kind of
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: played his cards really well.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: Actually, the only thing that's bad for him is that
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: everyone thinks he's a national joke.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Oh but in America, you can really capitalize on that
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: being a national joke. That's one reality show. It's good.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: He'll probably be hosting like America's Got Talent or something,
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: or To Catch a Predator? What would be the new
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: host of To Catch a Predator?
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Maybe there's like a show about scammers and like he's
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: like a.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: Oh, don't give these people any ideas. I mean, that
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: is probably the last place we can make money in
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: the TV industry, reality shoes.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: After the show, we'll pitch some idea, we'll figure it out.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: We'll find something. Well, I think we should play a game. Okay,
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: We're gonna play a game called Gift to a Curse.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: But I need a number between one and ten from you.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Oh my god, six Okay, I have to do.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Some light calculating to get our game pieces. So right
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: now you can promote, recommend, do whatever you want.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Oh, thank you. My show with my dear friend Hayden Johnson.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: It's called Transit Girls. We are in New York City
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: at Bellhouse January sixteenth. You gotta get tickets. The lineup
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: is so good. It's our favorite comedians in New York.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: It's gonna be such a good show. And then Transit
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Girls we're also at SF sketch Fest, so get your
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: tickets at Sfsketchfest dot com. I'm not even sure that's
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: the website, but it sounds right. And yeah that those
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: are some shows coming up.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Yeah, beautiful and this will actually come out in time.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: Frequently people like I've got a show tonight.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Tonight, Well, somehow work that.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: Unfortunately, right now, everybody goes see Noria the Bellhouse.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: That'll be a fun time and a nice warm place
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: to be in Coxact.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: It's going to both literally and also emotionally emotionally.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: Yeah, and uh and then Sketch Fest when is that?
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Ooh, that's also in January. I forget the date, but
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: it's all the info is on ssketchfest dot com, which
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure if.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: That's the actual Go support live comedy, so please if
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: you like something supported live, because.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: We need it. We need it, honey, we got bags
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: to buy.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: Okay, this is how we play Gift or a Curse.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: I'm going to name three things. You'll tell me if
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: there are a gift or a curse and why, and
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: then i'll tell you if you're right or wrong. Because there
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: are correct answers, you can lose the game, Nori.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Oh okay, be careful, all right.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: These are all from our Patreon listeners today. This first
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: one is from Noah Gift or a Curse. Tornado siren
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: test during sunny weather.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Oh curse. Oh my god, they're so stressful.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Have you experienced one before?
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm from Kentucky. Oh that's right, so they would.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: I'm not sure if it was tornado, but it was
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: a storm, some sort of storm sert alert, and that
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: immediately gave me stress and anxiety because I just remember
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: that noise right, right, and noise sensitive. So so, but
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: I guess you could argue blessing because it's like they're
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: trying to see if it works, and like if it's
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: good for us.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: Right, you're wrong.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: It's a gift.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: It is a gift to do a tornado siren test
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: during stormy weather. That's really screwing with people's minds because
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: then it's like, well, is there a tornado?
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: No, we want the air clear.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: And it's a nice it'll get your heart moving in
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: the morning you think there's a tornado.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I will.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: Actually I've never experienced tornado weather, so maybe it could
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: still be during sunny weather.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: I don't know, but they should just that's private. They
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: need to do that private. They why involve all of us?
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Do it private? Go underground? But don't people?
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: Doesn't everybody have to participate in the test?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: No, they're testing to make work.
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I guess it's not like everybody. I'm picturing
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: school drill. It's like a fire drill where you would
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: have to.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Because based on my experience growing up, it's more just
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: like a siren that's that's on a.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: Tower and that noise is terrible, horrible, It's horrible. You
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: need to think of a more pleasant noise for that. Yeah,
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: some jingle bells.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Also, it's gonna work. What are you what are you testing? Like?
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: You in charge? Of torto. It doesn't work now, just
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: randomly doesn't work. Yeah, it works, bitch, come on, grow up.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: But you got it wrong. You got it wrong, all right.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: The second one is from Tatiana gift to a curse
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: pick your own fruit or vegetable outing.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: What the fuck is that?
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: You know? Like, you go to an apple orchard, you
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: go to a strawberry feel this kind of thing, pumpkin.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Come on, that's fun. That's fun as hell. Yes, there's
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: like you're paying what six thousand dollars for four apples? Like, yeah,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: that's weird, right, But like there's the gift store, there's
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: appleside er donuts, there's all these really fun things. You're
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: with your friends, you're dressing up warm and sweaters. It's
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: a gift.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: Correct, correct? I think this is a gift. I think
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: these things get a lot of flak people. It's the
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: same type of thing of like, oh, I don't want
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: to go camping, I don't like to sleep on the ground.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: It's like, no, that that's the experience. It's a fun time.
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: It's I want to get I don't normally pick apples. Yeah,
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: let me let people pick an apple. Let people go
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: pick a pumpkin or whatever.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: It's the last thing, you know I ex did before
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: we broke up.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: What what were you picking apples?
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Oh? In Boston?
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: Were you fighting the whole time?
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: No?
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: Oh, so it was a pleasant memory. Yeah, oh what
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: a shame? Were the apples good?
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: I can't remember.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: I've never had the experience of doing any of these.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: How long are you gone for? What do you mean
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: you like go out the orchard and they just afternoon?
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: And is it like a time limit? They fire a gun.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: And you get picked, you get tired. Okay, interesting, will
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: you pay for the by weight? Oh? Wait?
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that makes more sense. Imagine how stressful it
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: would be if it was a timer.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Yeah, because you would have bad faith actors who are
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: going to like like a tractor. Yeah, it's like, all right,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: let's get in there take all the apples.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: I should try it at some point. That seems like
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: a nice active it.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Said, bad faith actors and relationship to what we just
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: talked about. That's such a crazy thing to apple bad
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: faith actors. There's Yeah.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: I was thinking about January sixth this morning. Weirdly, it's
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: just like I can't believe that that happened. That happened,
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: and everybody who's just cited a kind of wasn't that
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: big of a deal.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: It's like it was.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: One of the craziest things that's ever happened in our life.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: One. It's like America. Like one thing you can count
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: on about America is we will never admit to a coup,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: like like we will not like we it's like like
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: other countries. Yeah, our country never noney.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: That we have class.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: We don't.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it was fully fully coup. It was people breaking
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: into yes, like wow, the things we've seen. Oh god,
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: I'm sorry for stressing everyone out. That feels like a
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: tornado siren test. All right, you've gotten one right so far.
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: This is the final one. This is from Darcy. Gift
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: or a curse watching a Christmas episode of a show
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: nowhere near Christmas.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna go gift because it can make you excited
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: for what's to come. It's like, Okay, it's might not
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: be Christmas right now, but it's coming and it's gonna
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: be really nice and'll be gifts and Christmas tree and
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: that's nice. Correct. I think this is a gift.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: I absolutely I see no problem with this, And I
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: also feel like it fixes a problem. Let's say your
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: favorite fictional character is Santa Claus and you want to
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: see him in a TV show. You're not going to
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: You're not going to wait all year to see him. No,
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: fire it up in August, watch Santa do his thing?
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Why not?
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: What color do you think Santa's hair was before he
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: went white? Has anybody ever gotten to the bottom of that.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: M Based on how white it is, it's going to
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: be blonde.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: You think he was like a platinum blonde.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Yeah, because if it was, if it was black, it'd
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: be kind of something grayish, right, So it is going
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: to be platinum blonde.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Right, That makes sense to me.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Gorgeous like twink. Yeah, they watch blonde.
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: Yeah, well, based on the cartoons, the stop motion cartoons
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: from the sixties and seventies, it's actually red.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, no.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: That's crazy. That's not that's really crazy.
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: Thinking of another group of people. But I don't like yeah, no, no, no,
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: I'm sorry, take and make as much offense.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: That's disgusting.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: That is red hair. Have a genetic problem.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: You're telling me Santa has a fire crotch. No, honey,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: he doesn't have a fire crotch. That's crazy.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: Okay, it was blonde, shimmering blonde.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Was a redhead. Oh, I'm so sorry. I love it.
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: This has been a problematic episode for you.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: I love redhead so much. It's so hot. That's very sweet.
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: I appreciate the support because, you know, public school education
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: is not an easy place for a redhead. You know,
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: going through growing up as a redheaded person, it's not fun.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Okay, I read a headline. I did not read the
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: article that why that redheads are genetically black?
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: Oh something this I tried to figure out, and I
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: I was like, Okay, now we've crossed some sort of
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: line here. Of course, it started on TikTok and don't
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: I don't know enough about it to really speak factually,
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: but I feel like, basically a red headed person said
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: something about it being genetic. I don't know that there's
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: actual science there. But then suddenly there are all these
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: red headed people saying I know what it feels like
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: to be black.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I was like, no, you don't. That's different. That's crazy.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: I can say, you know how it feels to be
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: bullied and have people treat you unfairly as a white
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: person with but you just simply don't get to claim whatever,
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: that's crazy, but it was very It took off on
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: TikTok in a positive way. I think it kind of
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: did have probably a net positive ish result where people
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: were just like, let's be nice to each other. Yeah,
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: but it was a little like I saw a few
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: tiktoks where it's like, this feels real stupid.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: I'll look it up. I'm gonna look it up. I
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: want to know the science what's happening.
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, I unless we're like, yeah, I don't know
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: what the science it is. But if you see something
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: scientific on TikTok, it is true, and just believe everything is.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Okay, that's what I thought. Yes, that's what I thought though.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: Okay, right, I should have just said that from the beginning. Okay,
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: so you got two out of three.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Not too bad. I won, you won. You won a
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: D plus.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: Or a D.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Well, there's three, okay, if there were like six, yeah,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: if you did the work, maybe I don't have a higher.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Now yeah, there's three chances.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: Well, Honalse has one for us, aalz And now we
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: both have to speak to this and then Honalise will
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: give us their answer, which will probably be wrong, but
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: we'll see what they say.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: Okay, all right, cool it all right? Gift or a curse?
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: Shared calendars?
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Shared calendars? Do you want to speak to it?
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: Oh? Who are you sharing? Who's like a couple or
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: roommate or like.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: That's the only information you get is shared calendars.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with curse. I think that's private. I
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: think it's private, and I think that other people should
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: not be seeing what you're up to. Also, it's a
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: curse because it gets really confusing, because like I have
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: a calendar with my manager and his assistant. Sometimes we'll
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: add stuff, but sometimes doesn't, so then it gets really confusing,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: and then you can't really bank on it being there,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: so then you just do it. But then sometimes there's
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: then a double right event. Yes, I'm gonna go with curse.
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: I think curse as well. The thing for me I
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: have I share a calendar with my boyfriend. He finally
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: forced me to do it, and first of all, it
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: was an enormous hassle, took my phone everything, sinking it
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: all up was such a pain for me. And then
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: finally when it happened anything, anytime he puts one in,
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: I just I don't even see it, you know, I
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: only see the color that I put in, And so
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: these other things that I'm supposed to suddenly remember or
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: beware of are just They might as well be bank holidays,
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: you know, or you see it on the phone, You're like,
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: well that means nothing. So I think it's a curse.
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: It doesn't really change anything other than the fact that
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: now I am supposed to know more than I still don't. Yeah,
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: on Elise, of course it's a curse.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: Oh thank god, it's my business. What are you doing
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: trying to know what I'm doing? And also like I
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: put stuff in there like the days I meant straight,
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: Like people shouldn't be seeing that, right, nobody, especially not Google.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that that's yeah.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: We should. Calendars should be our nice little private places,
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: and share calendars are a disaster.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: I agree.
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: Well, we all came together on that one, and that
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: feels good. We've got a few Patreon questions from Patreon listeners.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: We hope me answer so absolutely all right.
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: This first one I think is good for both of us.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: This is from Carla. It says, who is your favorite
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: real housewife of Salt Lake City. I used to be
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: very annoyed with Mary, but this season she is really
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: becoming the voice of reason.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Well, before I answer, can I tell a little sense story?
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: So this Halloween, I went to New York. I went
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: to Julio Taurus's party. Very fun. I had a great time,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Like it was truly like the best energy ever. Bronwin
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: was there.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: Oh was she dressed as.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: She It was a very complicated It was very clear
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: to me that she just wanted to wear mosquito like it.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: It wasn't really put together. I think it was like
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: like it was a tour dress that was very costume me. Okay,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: which it's like no surprise there.
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: I mean, that's her entire life.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: It wasn't a clear concept. It was confusing. No no
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: one knew. But uh but you know when she was
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: walking around, me and my friends did go hi, like
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: you know, we're we're huge fans. We love you so much.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: I mean, it wasn't a mere like seven hours probably
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: that we were talking crazy shit about her after the episode.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: So it's like we were fatah.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: And we do love her, we do love her, come on,
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: and so we were we love you, We're such a
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: big fans. She's like, thank you so much, And I
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: don't know. I was kinding a flow state. So I
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: was kind of talking and I said why are you here,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: which is like such a crazy thing to say. I
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: was like, why are you here because it's like I know,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: because I'm like, you're wrong. You don't have to, like,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: you know, we're in the middle of Bushwick in like
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: a warehouse. Like it was just crazy that she was there.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: And what she said was, oh, you know, I have
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: to like show my face. I got to get ahead
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: of next week's episode, which I thought was so interesting.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: In the next episode, nothing really happened. But then why
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: what I am theorizing what I think she meant is
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: the episode after that is when it came out about
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Todd potentially cheating.
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: Looking at pictures of another gal on the air.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Yes, and so I think that is what she was referencing.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: But she's she didn't do anything wrong.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I think she meant like being out and
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: about and like.
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: I'm not quite sure what she drama free, maybe.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Not quite I'm not one hundred percent sure what she
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: was what she was saying or wearing, But she looks.
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: Like she had been like like blindfolded and taken to
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: this warehouse and was just trying to figure out in
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: the moment what she was doing there.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Yes, yes, but she was so warm and so friendly,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: and I will say that that is huge.
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: I get that from her. I think, like as.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Far as and she supports trans people, Yeah great, it's huge.
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: As far as the women on the show go, like
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: as far as like if I had to spend time
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: with them, like as a human being, I would probably
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: say brown win in.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: Heather, Okay, you're sleeping on Angie. Hell true, Angie, and
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: I'd love to hang out with Angie.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: She's so cool, that's true, Angie, and I just found her.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: And Angie's dad owns a chain of hamburger restaurants in Utah.
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: That's very Greek slash Hamburger restaurants that I love Crown Burgers.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: And you take me on a date. Oh my god.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: So she it's kind of a dynasty. She's got the
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: uh what's it called.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: It's like heroine, It's like something like that.
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: It's a very Oh.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: I can't believe I'm forgetting this. I grew up. It's
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: like delusional bangs something like that.
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: Something it's called a lunatic fringe.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: I said, delusional bangs, And that is literally lunatic fringe.
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: Right, if you like made a fictional take on her life. Yes,
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: that's what the character would start up.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: And I did say that that black character was Martin
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Luther King chuckle Bots, which is what's kind of close.
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: Well, you're working on a new Ya novel.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Yes, so my brain is kind of halfway there this
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: thing in your head, right, I feel like, did you
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: watch Wife Swap? No, she goes to Idaho, but she's
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: so warm and so beautiful to that family that you're like, oh, wait,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: this is an a genuinely good person. Okay, okay, I'll
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: put on that list. Yeah, yeah, that's it.
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: There's a and then Heather.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: No.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: I disagree. Really, I don't think. I think that she
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: is obsessed with fame, sure, and I think that it's
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: maybe a little fake. Her niceness interesting.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: I think she uh is somebody who likes to have
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: a good time, and I know, I like know people
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: who have interacted with her and said, oh, she was
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: very fun. So yeah, I do. I think. I mean,
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: let's be honest, every one of these women wants to
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: be famous. Why else would you basically ruin your life
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: on the show.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with Mary Cosbys as is everyone in America.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: I would be terrified to hang out with her because
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: of the things that she would say to me. Oh,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: she would cruise, she would say the craziest shit to me.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: She does not She's not afraid of saying anything to anyone.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: That's why she's so fun to watch on the show
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: is because I've never seen somebody on a reality show
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: just basically say no, I'm not doing that.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Yes, And I love it. It's beautiful to utch.
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: Oh, it's incredible because I obviously the the show has
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: gotten used to it. But I'm sure initially producers were like,
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: this lady's a nightmare. She won't do anything we ask
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: her to do. But now she's like, I'm going to
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: eat a fully fish in a van and I cannot
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: do anything about it.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: And the other ladies are obviously so jealous that they
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: don't have the fortitude to do right.
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: They've created these other characters that they now have to
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: keep it to shoot.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: It up, and so it's like they won't eat fulley
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: fish on a bus.
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, Lisa don't know that I would have. She
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: and I could get a diet soda together and that
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: would be the end of the road doesn't seem entirely
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: pleasant to be around.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Meredith could be could be fun.
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: I mean just depending on what she's on.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Yes, you're right up or down? Yeah, because she's Yeah.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Sometimes it's like is she there?
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: That's true, but yeah, it's a good group of alves.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: What was the question? I forget? Who's your favorite? M Angie?
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: Angie's your favorite.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: She's down to earth. She she reminds me of this
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: woman I worked with, Like I used to work at
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: a hospital and there is this woman who was much
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: older than me, and like, in no universe should we
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: be friends, like she like, we're so different, but we
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: just got along so well because she was just so
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: nice and warm and didn't give a fuck about like
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: who you were or identity or anything. Just was like
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: just kind of saw everyone as like as like she
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: I feel like Andy just sees everyone. She's not she's
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: never looking over you, She's never She's just.
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: Kind of love the full psychological profile. We could never
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: have you meet her.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: She's so she's such a bit. The first thing she
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: says is training. It's like she tackles. She tackles me,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: she sets me on fire, she looks over me. She's
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: like she's like, I'm sorry Sidney Sweeney here, like who
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: are you? One time? Okay, I guess hosted a radio
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: andy show, and one time Jessel Tank what's her name
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: from New York?
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: Oh, I'm the wrong person to ask.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: She her name is Jessel. She's on the Roney reboot. Okay.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: She was on scheduled to call in, and I was like,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: I'm depressed that week. So I looked like shit, Like
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: I looked so bad and we had not you know,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: when she zoomed in. That was the first time she's
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: seeing me, meeting me. The way that woman looked at me,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: like who the like, she was just like startled. Oh my,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: she was like she was like confused, startled, like who
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: is that like? And rightfully so she's like who is
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: this person?
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: She wasn't expecting you at all?
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Yes, Because like in that if there's the manosphere, the bravosphere,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: whatever you call the bravo verses, probably what people say,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: like the people who are interviewing her, they're going to
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: be like skinny cis, women who've spent three hours getting ready,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: A man who just opened expensive groceries.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Yes, or a gay demon gay. And so when I
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: pop up, and I'm like, I look like I haven't
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: showered in four days. I look insane, my hair is greasy.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: She's literally like, why the fuck? Like I could just
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: tell that she was like, why am I here? How
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: did it go? Terribly? We talked. I tried so hard
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: to like we talked about her husband, because her husband's
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: like a foodie and like kind of so I was
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: like trying so hard, but I could tell that she
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: was kind of just like, why am I here? Get
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: me out of here? Who is this person? Wow? Wow?
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: Yeah, but you're saying, Angie, Andy, I would probably say
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: to watch for me Mary, And then I already said
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: the people I would want to actually spend time with.
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: I would like to go to Mary's church at some point.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I feel so complicated because it's so clearly a scam.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: It's so clearly like fucked up.
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: Yeah, there have been reports about it.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you know she's literally coming in and wearing like
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: head to toe, like you know, gucci much expensive clothes.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: Her congregation they don't look very wealthy, right, and they're
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: tithing like what fifty percent of their income. You're kind
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: of just.
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: Like, oh, she is a gold microphone.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: She has a gold microphone, and you can see that
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: there's some also. She was like, this is my first
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: time back. So what was her congregation doing for three years?
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: I don't know. I tried to go there the last
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: time I was in Utah and it was during the renovation,
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: so it was just all closed up where they were scattered.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: But she she's like she was she was like she
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: wasn't she was not pasture rasterizing.
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: For three years to be the shepherd of the flock.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: So who was the guest? Who was the guest host?
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: I guess these people just stayed home on Sundays waiting
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: for this place to get what is arguably not a
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: great renovation.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: That's crazy. They didn't even get.
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: Ac people are fanning themselves, they're sweating.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: Well, I I feel like we just answered that enough
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: that we don't to even answer another question today, and
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: actually kind of accidentally answered a casiest question. What's the
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: best frozen meal you've ever had?
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: Oh? I mean the butter chicken.
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I love the tekamasala. So yeah, we've answered some
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: nice questions.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: What I'm doing right now, though, I will just give
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: I'd love to offer this is I make a big
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: thing of chicken stock from anytime. I like peel a vegetable,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: chicken bone, whatever, I put it in the freezer bag. Okay,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: I put in the freezer, so it's like onion peels, kale,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: ginger knobs, chicken bones like whatever. Then I'd make a
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: stock out of it, right, and then you freeze that.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: And then you just got a bunch of fucking stock
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: that you just put in the fridge and then your soups.
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: Right, beans, and you've created a trash island in the ocean.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: And it's a full it's like a full circle because
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: you're like, then the scraps, it's like it's all self contained.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: A garbage all these plastic bags. You're putting garbage in
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: the freezer. How these plastic bags go?
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: I don't want to think about that. All I know
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: is that I have delicious chicken stock to use for
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: my beans and my stews. Sir, I don't know what's
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: happening with the plastic bag. That's not my business. That's
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: not my business. Okay, Then put the scraps, put them
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: in a glass tubleware.
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: Yes, get it reusable usable? Who am I to speak?
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Who cares the world, it's all. We're all doomed. It
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: doesn't matter.
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: You've landed as a COVID denying classic love Trump.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: Come on, who cares? Who cares? Cares? Well?
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: No, this is gonna be very convenient for me in
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: the future. You're gonna be begging for this one.
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: There's one full test, right and do they expire? I
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: don't think they expire. I think it takes a while
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: for him to expire. So just use that to myself.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: Treat yourself.
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: I'm very excited about this. I've had such a nice
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: time with this was so fun.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: Thank you for being here. I loved it. Thank you listener.
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: The podcast is over, the tape will soon end, and
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: I'd love for you to have a at least a
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: fine day. So go out and do something moderately, I
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: don't know, moderately enjoyable.
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: Who cares? I love you? Goodbye? I said. No.
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: Gifts is an exactly right production. Our senior producer is
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: on Alisa Nelson, and our episodes are beautifully mixed by
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: Ben Tolliday. The theme song is by miracle Worker Amy Mann,
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: and we couldn't do it without our booker, Patrick Cottner.
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: You must follow the show on Instagram. At I said,
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: no gifts. That's where you're going to see pictures of
- 1:27:46Speaker 3: all these wonderful gifts I'm getting. And don't you want
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: to see the gifts?
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: Lie?
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: Did you hear?
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: Fun? A man myself perfectly clear to my home. You
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: gotta come to me empty? And I said, no, guest,
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: your own presences presents enough. I already had too much stuff,
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: So how do you dare to surbey me
