- 0:03Speaker 1: his podcast on the iHeart Radio Act.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Now back to Mark Simon on w o R.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Chris in Manhattan. Chris,
- 0:13Speaker 1: how you doing? Oh he's always upset. This guy's always frazzled.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Go ahead, Oh.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Yeah I am, I am a little frazzled.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Ye are there.
- 0:27Speaker 3: For the vote?
- 0:28Speaker 4: Along?
- 0:28Speaker 1: Party calls back, something's wrong with your phone? It keeps no,
- 0:35Speaker 1: you keep cutting out? There you go. Let's go to
- 0:39Speaker 1: Ernie Northport, Long Island. Ernie, how you doing?
- 0:45Speaker 2: And reference to Tomo's telling Curtis to throw it in.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I mean he's getting a large percentage of the Democratic vote.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Why not just give it to Curtis and maybe he's
- 0:54Speaker 4: got a legitimate shot to win.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, uh, you gotta remember this poll. This was
- 0:59Speaker 1: basically the Almo campaign doing this poll. People that love
- 1:03Speaker 1: Cuomo did the poll showing well, if it was just
- 1:07Speaker 1: a Mom Donnie and Cuoma, Look what you notice they
- 1:11Speaker 1: never pulled what would happen if it was just Curtis
- 1:13Speaker 1: and Mom Donnie. They were careful not to pull that
- 1:16Speaker 1: because Curtis might have actually done better against Mom Donnie.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Let's go to Sandy in Westchester, Sandy, how you doing
- 1:23Speaker 1: all right?
- 1:25Speaker 2: Curtis got thirty one percent of the vote in the
- 1:27Speaker 2: last election. What in the world makes you all conservative?
- 1:30Speaker 2: Talk show hosts thinking?
- 1:33Speaker 1: Are you a Democrat? Is that?
- 1:34Speaker 2: What?
- 1:34Speaker 1: Why you call this a conservative?
- 1:36Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:39Speaker 2: I'm praying that you guys will start you got you got.
- 1:42Speaker 1: You gotta start with you guys. That just sounds stupid.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Let's go to h Lauren in New Jersey. Lauren, how
- 1:47Speaker 1: you doing?
- 1:49Speaker 5: Hey? Mark?
- 1:50Speaker 1: Hey?
- 1:50Speaker 5: So, I am all for facts, numbers, statistics, and excellent polls,
- 1:57Speaker 5: but talk about a weak argument. Wouldn't people prefer cats
- 2:02Speaker 5: in Gracie mansioned and a communist?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Well, you gotta remember whenever he says, I don't want
- 2:07Speaker 1: to cats and Gracey, it's a silly side ish. It
- 2:10Speaker 1: has nothing to do with anything. It means they can't
- 2:12Speaker 1: think of the argument. They just can't come up with
- 2:13Speaker 1: the argument against Curtis on a policy basis. They just
- 2:16Speaker 1: can't think of anything, you know, to say the guy's
- 2:19Speaker 1: I guess they're trying to make it sound like he's weird. Hey, listen,
- 2:21Speaker 1: I know the guy for a million years. He's definitely
- 2:23Speaker 1: got some weird things about him, but nothing compared to
- 2:26Speaker 1: the weirdness of Cuomo. They've all got weird stuff. Let's
- 2:31Speaker 1: go to David and Queen's David.
- 2:32Speaker 2: How you doing, Hey, Mark, good morning. Kudos to you
- 2:37Speaker 2: Mark for being the only one that I hear on
- 2:38Speaker 2: the radio not piling on Curtis.
- 2:40Speaker 1: No. No, there's a lot of people that there's a lot
- 2:42Speaker 1: of people supporting Curtis on the radio, plenty of people.
- 2:45Speaker 2: This guy Cuomo caused so much damage he should be
- 2:48Speaker 2: facing a war crimes trial.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I don't know about that. But he was a horrible
- 2:53Speaker 1: left wing governor. He was to the left of Mom Donnie.
- 2:56Speaker 1: He personally single handled and caused the crime wave with
- 2:58Speaker 1: his closing the prisons and bring out the no bail notes.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Joe.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I can go on and on, but he was just
- 3:04Speaker 1: horrible as government. Chris from Manhattan, let's say it sounds
- 3:06Speaker 1: now okay, sorry about that before. I don't know what happened.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Okay, Listen, Curtis is so lucky to have a loyal friend.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And do you have an actual point you want to make?
- 3:18Speaker 3: Yes, I do you say frequently that that people that
- 3:21Speaker 3: don't if Curtis votes drops out people won't vote for Cuomo.
- 3:26Speaker 1: That's not what I said at all. I said, well,
- 3:28Speaker 1: I meant.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Love Curtis, but I can't vote for him.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And then don't from London, don't then don't vote for
- 3:35Speaker 1: I'm just what I said was if he drops out,
- 3:37Speaker 1: this is fantasy that all his voters will go to Cuomo.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Some of them will, most of them.
- 3:42Speaker 3: I think most of them will. That they know that
- 3:43Speaker 3: they know what's the right thing to do. They wouldn't
- 3:46Speaker 3: rather have Mandami than Cuomo.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Well, here's the problem. Here's the problem. You always get
- 3:50Speaker 1: all flustered. Here's the problem.
- 3:52Speaker 3: I know I am flustered about. Okay, I live here.
- 3:54Speaker 3: It's going to destroy the city.
- 3:55Speaker 1: It's too hard to talk to you trying to talk
- 3:58Speaker 1: to him off it's impossible. Here's the argument, though, anytime
- 4:03Speaker 1: you put Cuomo against Mom Donnie, Cuomo loses. We've tested
- 4:06Speaker 1: this a number of times in the primary fans. Whenever
- 4:09Speaker 1: you put Cuomo against Mam Donnie, Cuomo loses. It's we've
- 4:14Speaker 1: seen it in action in a Democratic primary. Cuomo can't
- 4:18Speaker 1: beat Mam Donnie. So to think he's going to be
- 4:20Speaker 1: popular with Republicans, it's a bit of a stretch. So
- 4:25Speaker 1: and it's also he was a horrible governor. He was
- 4:28Speaker 1: as a left wing as Mamdanni when he governed. It's
- 4:31Speaker 1: something to consider. Let's go to Chuck and Staten Island. Chuck,
- 4:35Speaker 1: how you doing, Hi, Mark?
- 4:38Speaker 4: It occurred to me that Trump won a lot of
- 4:40Speaker 4: reason was that people lied at the polls, but they
- 4:44Speaker 4: told the truth when they voted. So all the Republicans
- 4:47Speaker 4: have to do is get at and vote.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good point, you know. That is another point.
- 4:51Speaker 1: There is guys that Curtis tend to what they say
- 4:55Speaker 1: call underpole. They just don't poll as well as they
- 4:58Speaker 1: would really do. And aga again, this all that came
- 5:00Speaker 1: out yesterday. Don't take this poll seriously. It was basically
- 5:03Speaker 1: done by the Cuomo campaign and the people that run
- 5:06Speaker 1: that pole are huge Cuomo supporters, So don't take it seriously.
- 5:09Speaker 1: They were very careful not the poll Curtis versus Mom
- 5:13Speaker 1: Donni because they didn't want to hear the answer. But
- 5:15Speaker 1: don't take that poll yesterday seriously. And also it's possible
- 5:22Speaker 1: tomorrow night things could change. Curtis, and even he's admitted
- 5:26Speaker 1: there were no big knockout punches in the first debate
- 5:29Speaker 1: Let's see what happens tomorrow night. Silly to say anything
- 5:32Speaker 1: until tomorrow night's final debate. Then we'll know. If Curtis
- 5:37Speaker 1: can't do some damage to Mom Donnie, then maybe he
- 5:40Speaker 1: should get out. We'll see, but tomorrow night's the key.
- 5:42Speaker 1: When we come back, Bill O'Reilly will be with us
- 5:45Speaker 1: next on seven to ten w
