- 0:02Speaker 1: I count is a great honor to be here tonight
- 0:06at this convention, Allelujah. And I want to start by
- 0:16requesting that we please rise and honor our father and
- 0:21our mother, Reverend Dr sam Aboy g God, bless you, sir,
- 0:26and our precious mother. Let's give them a big God
- 0:30bless you. Thank you for this opportunity. I don't take
- 0:33it for granted. And in a similar pain, may I
- 0:38request that we honor our father's seated here standing, and
- 0:46all who have come. I do not know all their names,
- 0:48but I honor you in the name of Jesus. Let's
- 0:50give them a big God bless you. Allelujah. Please be
- 0:55seated the Lord, bless you. Praise the name of the Lord.
- 1:07I'm speaking tonight very briefly along the theme of the conference.
- 1:13I found it very interesting when I saw the theme
- 1:18because I think very deeply as I prepare my messages
- 1:25and my teachings, and I take my preparations very seriously,
- 1:31and so when I see a topic for discussion, I
- 1:36take out time to look at it very carefully and
- 1:41see that which the Spirit of the Living God can
- 1:44help me draw from my study to bless his people.
- 1:46So I trust tonight. And this is also my request
- 1:52that you lend me your rapt attention so that we
- 1:59will learn, we will grow, will be impatted maximally by
- 2:04the word of God. Like you may have heard me say,
- 2:08God's method has always been his word.
- 2:13Speaker 2: His method to lift is his word. His method to
- 2:17restore is his word.
- 2:20Speaker 1: His method to redeem is his word. The boundary of
- 2:24God's commitment to the believer is his word. He cannot
- 2:29act within or outside of the jurisdiction of his word.
- 2:35Speaker 2: That means, when the word of God is about to come, it.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Is important that we pay attention to receive, because in
- 2:44receiving the world, we also receive the keys to our lifting,
- 2:48our breakthroughs, our deliverances, and indeed rest on every side.
- 2:54But can I start tonight by profess sign over someone
- 2:57that in the name of Jesus, the Son of the
- 2:59Living God, everything that has stopped you from enjoying rest
- 3:03around about, may it give way finally this night. May
- 3:11it give way finally this night, in the name of Jesus,
- 3:16the Son of the Living God, that everything that will
- 3:19not allow you experience the fullness of.
- 3:23Speaker 2: The glory of God.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I decree and declare standing upon the grace on this altar.
- 3:29May it give way once and for all in the
- 3:35name of Jesus Christ. Is it all right if we
- 3:40pray for just one minute? Please say after me, Father
- 3:45one more time, say Father, tonight. I receive grace to hear.
- 3:53I receive grace to understand. I receive grace to obey,
- 4:00head and pray, Grace to hear, grace to understand, race
- 4:05to obey. Someone is prayed tonight. We receive grace, grace
- 4:13to hear, but beyond hearing, grace to understand, and beyond understanding,
- 4:20the grace to obey, the grace to obey, the grace
- 4:31to obey. For Jesus' much less name, we have prayed.
- 4:42Can we have a believing Amen, Oh, believed that above
- 4:51a Lord all gods, we lay our chray.
- 4:59Speaker 3: And a ship.
- 5:02Speaker 1: You you be, I.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Said, up the lotus around and ships clean, still.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Clean, in the name of Jesus, please be seated. Let's
- 6:02get to the world. The Bible tells us in Some
- 6:08thirty four and verse nineteen. Psalm thirty four and verse nineteen.
- 6:14The Bible gives us a very interesting expression, I trust
- 6:18that the media will work with us. Thank you. It
- 6:21is as many are the afflictions of the righteous. Many
- 6:29are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Bible there
- 6:34leaves us with an assurance that the Lord delivered them
- 6:38from how many? All many are the afflictions of the righteous,
- 6:44But the Lord delivered him from them all. So very
- 6:50clearly we see it from this scripture that the reality
- 6:54of troubles. I wrote, Yeah, the reality of calamities and
- 6:58despair is not new to our world. Our world is
- 7:02full of events and episodes of calamities, episodes of despair, and.
- 7:10Speaker 2: All kinds of troubles. In fact, I think it was
- 7:13in John.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Chapter sixteen and verse thirty three Jesus himself had this
- 7:18to say. He said, in this world you will have
- 7:23many troubles. Jesus is speaking now, but he says, be
- 7:26of good share. I have overcome the world. That in
- 7:32this world. This is a statement coming from the lips
- 7:36of the Master himself, that in this world, in this life,
- 7:39you will have many troubles. But he leaves you with
- 7:42an assurance to be of good share, and he says,
- 7:45I have overcome the world. So it is not unusual
- 7:50for men to be troubled. The Bible is full of people.
- 7:53You see, one of the things I love about scripture
- 7:56is that it does not hide any time mention of life.
- 8:01The Bible captures victories, the Bible captures defeat, the Bible
- 8:07captures triumph, The Bible captures sadness, the Bible captures rejoicing.
- 8:13All captured within this Bible to give you a very
- 8:16balanced perspective of the character of God and the reality
- 8:20of life. Are we together? So it is true that
- 8:27troubles and calamities, despair and moments of unease are not
- 8:33new to our world. All you have to do is
- 8:36to be alive for a sufficient period of time, and
- 8:40you will be forced to attest to the fact that,
- 8:42an assisted by God, your lot is almost that of
- 8:47calamity by default. In fact, yes, how the Bible puts
- 8:51it that the whole world li yet in wickedness, and
- 8:55for that reason alone, everyone is a potential candidate for pain, calamity,
- 9:04despair of any sort, except you baire yourself out through.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Knowledge and understanding. Are we following tonight?
- 9:16Speaker 1: People have had to go through all kinds of troubles
- 9:21in their lives. Troubles, for instance, in the area of health,
- 9:26troubles in the area of finances, troubles in the area
- 9:30of marriage and relationships, trouble in the area of career
- 9:35and their destiny pursuits. Our world is full of people.
- 9:39If I ask everyone here right now submit a prayer request,
- 9:43so that we pray upon everything. You are writing on
- 9:47that request is some usually something you want to get
- 9:50out of your life, or something you want to bring
- 9:53into your life. The fact that you have something to
- 9:56write is an attestation to the fact that almost everyone
- 10:01has something he's trusting God to take out of his life,
- 10:05or something is trusting God to bring into his life.
- 10:08Speaker 2: If you're with me, shout aloud.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Amen.
- 10:14Speaker 1: People have gone through issues in their lives, in the
- 10:17area of their spiritual lives, the area of their health,
- 10:21area of their finances, their marriages, their relationships. I'll give
- 10:25you a few examples of men and women who went
- 10:28through several kinds of troubles. In the Bible. I will
- 10:31just give you the scriptures who are not going to
- 10:33read them for sake of time. Number one is a
- 10:36man Abraham. You would think because Abraham was a patracht
- 10:40of faith, he would be immune from trouble. Abraham went
- 10:44through all kinds of infertility problems, you find out from
- 10:48Genesis fifteen one to three. The Bible does not hide
- 10:53the fact that even though Abraham a great man, a
- 10:56friend of God, and yet lets us know that that
- 11:01man went through seasons over twenty five years of barrenness
- 11:05alongside his wife, to a point that he became frustrated.
- 11:09He was giving a recommendation that God would raise seed
- 11:12for him through another from his house Abraham. How about
- 11:19the nation of Israel in Egypt, a whole nation can
- 11:23go through seasons of calamity and pain. We find that
- 11:28in Exodus chapter three, from verse seven to nine, when
- 11:31God was speaking Exodus three seven to nine, when God
- 11:35was speaking with Moses in the burning bush, it was
- 11:38God himself who said that he had heard the cry
- 11:42of his people by reason of their taskmasters, and that
- 11:47day he was aware of their sorrows. God himself was
- 11:51saying that Exodus three seven to nine, he was now
- 11:55charging Moses, giving him the mandate of a deliverer. But
- 11:59God himself acknowledge the fact that his people, his covenant people,
- 12:05had gone through several years and decades of pain by
- 12:09reason of their taskmasters. Can I give you a third example,
- 12:15how about the famine in Samaria a whole nation. The
- 12:19famine in Samaria. You find that in Second Kings Chapter six,
- 12:24twenty five to thirty one. Second Kings, Chapter six, twenty five.
- 12:29Speaker 2: To thirty one.
- 12:30Speaker 1: The Bible tells us that there was such a grevious
- 12:33famine in Samaria that food was so fast women had
- 12:38to eat their children to survive.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I'm not sure such a dimension of famine has happened
- 12:47in a world that I'm aware of, that a mother
- 12:50would look at the child, and rather than seeing a
- 12:53child that came from her, she is looking at a
- 12:55means for survivor. Allelujah, the famine in some area. Can
- 13:05I give you Number four? In Ruth Chapter one, from
- 13:09verse one and six. Ruth, Chapter one, from verse one
- 13:12and six, the Bible gives us a very interesting rendition
- 13:16about two strange personalities. Number one, the woman called Naomi,
- 13:21and then her daughters in law Ruth, and of her,
- 13:27the Bible says that all of them, I don't know
- 13:29what kind of spirit came upon that family. They strangely
- 13:33were losing all the men in their lives. I pray
- 13:36for someone every pattern you have seen around your life
- 13:40and your family that is inconsistent with the speakings of God.
- 13:45By the power of the Blood, it will let you
- 13:48go this night. It will let you go this night,
- 13:51in the name of Jesus Christ. I just thought to
- 13:57comment on this. He lost a husband, Naomi Ruth lost
- 14:03her husband and her sons. Or lost her husband and
- 14:07her sons. Do you know the same kind of spirit
- 14:10was at working a woman in the New Testament called
- 14:12the widow of Nain. All the men in her life,
- 14:17everyone who had the potential to support her, was taken
- 14:20out of her life.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Allelujah. These were women in great sorrow.
- 14:30Speaker 1: They had lost their systems for security and support. Many
- 14:34are the afflictions of the righteous. Can I give you
- 14:37one more? In Second King, Chapter five and verse one,
- 14:41I would like to read that the Bible talks of
- 14:44a very friliant man, a warrior in fact, called Naman.
- 14:50The Bible calls him the captain of the host of
- 14:53the King of Syria. Look up the kind of credential
- 14:57that was credited.
- 14:58Speaker 3: To this man.
- 14:59Speaker 2: That he he was a great man with his master,
- 15:02he was an honorable man, and.
- 15:05Speaker 1: That by reason of his intelligence and dexterity, the Lord
- 15:09had given deliverance onto Syria. And he was a mighty
- 15:14man in battle. And you would think with those kinds
- 15:17of credential he would escape trouble, the Bible says, But
- 15:22in spite of all those great testimonies, but he was
- 15:26a leper. There was something in his life that was
- 15:29a cause for concern. Hallelujah. Now the Bible tells us
- 15:36furthermore in look chapter eight. I found this very interesting
- 15:41forty one to forty five. I hope we're still together.
- 15:45Look chapter eight, from verse forty one to forty five.
- 15:48Let me read that story. I want to draw out
- 15:50something from it. This is a story that doubles as
- 15:54that of Jarios's daughter and then the woman.
- 15:57Speaker 2: With the issue of Lord.
- 16:00Speaker 1: So the Bible says, and behold, there came a man
- 16:03named Jarios, and he was a ruler in the synagogue,
- 16:07the Bible says, and that he fell at the feet
- 16:10of Jesus and asked him to come into his house.
- 16:13Next verse please reading to forty five. The Bible says,
- 16:17for he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age,
- 16:23and she was lying there dying. And the Bible says,
- 16:27when it came he didn't have a chance to meet
- 16:29Jesus easily because the people thronged him. Next verse, then,
- 16:34the Bible says, whilce he was on his way, Jesus
- 16:38now wanted to honor the requests. To get to his house,
- 16:42he stumbled across another woman with no name, named by
- 16:46her pain, named by her tragedy, named by her calamity.
- 16:51This woman most likely had a name, but her calamity
- 16:54so swallowed her it.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Replaced her name.
- 16:57Speaker 1: She was simply called the woman with the issue of
- 17:01blood twelve years.
- 17:04Speaker 2: The Bible says she had spent all her.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Living on physicians. Neither could she be healed of any
- 17:15The Bible says that she came behind him and touched
- 17:19the border of his garment, and immediately her issue of
- 17:23blood ceased. Now, the point is that the daughter of
- 17:27Jarios was twelve years old, the one who was dying,
- 17:31and this woman was twelve years old in her calamity,
- 17:36meaning the day that young girl was born. That was
- 17:39when this woman's trouble also started. Bought twelve years a
- 17:47twelve year old girl about to lose her life, a
- 17:49twelve year old woman. And if you were asked to
- 17:53which one would be better to heal first, both of
- 17:57them were sympathetic to their pain. Would you ignore a
- 18:01woman who had gone through twelve years of pain? But
- 18:04we you ignore a little girl who has potential to
- 18:06live a great life. Trouble for you, calamities for you?
- 18:13Are we still together? The Bible makes a very interesting
- 18:20statement in Second Corinthians, chapter four and verse eight.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Please give it to us.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Second Corinthians four and verse eight. I usually would like
- 18:30us to read together. I hope we can. Otherwise I'll
- 18:33just read alone. Second Corinthians four and verse eight. Please
- 18:38media help us. Second Corinthians, chapter four and verse eight.
- 18:43If you can see it, please I request that we
- 18:45read together. Ready, one to go. We are troubled on
- 18:49every side. Please hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 18:53This is a very interesting statement. It is one thing
- 18:56to be troubled in your health, but other areas will
- 18:59be doing well. It is one thing to be troubled spiritually,
- 19:03but perhaps financially you are doing well. The Bible tells
- 19:06us that it is even possible to be troubled on
- 19:10e free side. You know what that means? That there
- 19:14can be a problem in your finances at the same time,
- 19:17a problem in your spiritual life at the same time.
- 19:20A problem with your children and your marriage. That such
- 19:23possibility exists in our world. We are troubled, not just dimensionally,
- 19:30but on every side. It is that yet not distressed.
- 19:34We are perplexed, but not in despair. So men can
- 19:39be so troubled. It is not just that men can
- 19:42find rest on every side. They can also be troubled
- 19:46on every side. I have studied my Bible, by the
- 19:51grace of God, and in my study, the clearest example
- 19:57the individual that personified is this scripture, in my opinion,
- 20:02is the man Job. Job becomes for us a theological lesson,
- 20:10a description of a man who was troubled on every side.
- 20:15For reference, please write Job chapter one thirteen to twenty two,
- 20:20Job Chapter one thirteen to twenty two, and then Job
- 20:25chapter two.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Seven to nine. For time's sake, I'm not going to
- 20:30read it. I'll just.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Just recite for you the story. So here is a
- 20:35man the Bible says, who was the richest man within
- 20:39the east in the then world. And the Bible says
- 20:42he was a man who she had God and as
- 20:44shured evil, he had everything what you will want to
- 20:48call rest on every side. Wealth was there, children, assets,
- 20:53a great name. But then the Bible tells us that
- 20:56a series of events happened within the heavens and began
- 21:00to manifest back to back, all within the space of
- 21:03one day. In one day, ladies and gentlemen, the man
- 21:08Joe lost his children, lost his assets, lost his reputation,
- 21:15lost everything. And then the Bible makes a very profound
- 21:20statement that when the last person came to break the
- 21:23sad news, Joe.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Bound himself to the ground and wash it.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Not bound himself to the ground to cause God not
- 21:33bound himself to the ground in despair. The Bible says,
- 21:36he bowed himself to the ground and wash it, Allelujah.
- 21:45And then, as though that would be enough, there were
- 21:48only three things that were left.
- 21:51Speaker 2: After the first tragedy struck in Job's life.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Number one was his wife, Number two was his relationship
- 21:59with God, and number three was his health. These were
- 22:02the only three things that survived the first attack, and
- 22:07then a series of events in chapter two would happen again,
- 22:11and the devil is giving liberty to now strike his health.
- 22:16Job's health was so was so heat that the Bible
- 22:22says that men would look at him and just pass.
- 22:25He became a man who was left for dead troubled
- 22:29on every side, and the only thing Job had left
- 22:34was his wife and his God. But then when I
- 22:39studied the book of Job, I am encouraged by just
- 22:43one profound statement. And you find that in Job chapter
- 22:47forty twoe, verse ten. And may that be a prophecy
- 22:49for someone tonight. In the name of Jesus, please give
- 22:53it to us and the Lord to the captivity of Job.
- 22:58My goodness, there is a God can turn the captivity
- 23:01of men. Did you hear what I said that there
- 23:03is a God in heaven, not in the earth.
- 23:07Speaker 2: There is a God that.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Sits in heaven, and that he sustains within his power
- 23:12the ability to turn the captivity of men. Did you
- 23:15not read in your Bible that when the Lord turned
- 23:17again the captivity of Zion is said, we were like
- 23:20damn that dream. It would be for someone tonight, like
- 23:23a dream. The way my God will turn around your life.
- 23:27I say it by prophecy. It will do for someone
- 23:30like you are dreaming. The way does will open, the
- 23:34way God will settle you, the way God will give
- 23:37you peace. The way my God will arise to push
- 23:40back every force that has mocked your life.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Please be seated.
- 23:57Speaker 1: So the Bible tells us that men, all men, can
- 24:01be troubled, not just on some sides, not just in
- 24:05certain areas, but that men can be troubled on every side.
- 24:11Speaker 2: And it is very possible that someone came for this convention.
- 24:15Speaker 1: In the midst of the dance, in the midst of
- 24:17the screams, in the midst of the shout, you are
- 24:21only praying for grace to survive because perhaps this year
- 24:25has been maybe your worst experience yet.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Now I want you to please pay attention. I just
- 24:36thought to borrow from my notes.
- 24:43Speaker 1: And explain to us why believers go through tragedies.
- 24:48Speaker 2: I just want to list it for you.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Two weeks ago I did a teaching back at home
- 24:54on deliverance over calamities, and I.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Just thought to incorporate that in my notes.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I thought it was very important before before we begin
- 25:00to talk about entering rest. It's important we have a
- 25:04very proper foundation as to why believer us go through tragedies,
- 25:10go through calamities, and go through unfavorable seasons.
- 25:14Speaker 2: There is a reason.
- 25:16Speaker 1: There is an explanation to pay There is an explanation
- 25:22to calamity and tragedy. I will least for you not
- 25:26necessarily having to explain them. And I pray in the
- 25:30name of Jesus Christ that what you're about to hear
- 25:33will contribute to your confidence, because sometimes beyond pushing men
- 25:38to enter the rest, it's important that we diagnose the
- 25:42condition properly. There are people who no matter what kind
- 25:46of prayer you pray for, they will still go back
- 25:48into their pain because there are certain funda mental mistakes
- 25:52that they continue to make.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Can we examine this for a minute.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Number one, The first reason, according to Scripture, why people
- 26:01go through tragedies, losses, calamities is lack of discernment. Please write,
- 26:08the absence of dissignment will always lead an individual into a.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Circle of calamities. Lack of discernment.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Lack of discernment, lack of discernment, hallelujah, lack of discernment
- 26:31most people cannot discern. I'm reminded about the story in
- 26:36Acts chapter twelve. When you read in the Book of
- 26:40Act chapter twelve, the Bible says that Herald made up
- 26:43his mind to affect certain Jews, and in doing so
- 26:47John I mean James, was held and he was beheaded.
- 26:52And when James was beheaded, the Bible says that the
- 26:56Herald saw that it pleased the Jews. And now he
- 26:59held Peter, proposing that after the Passover he would also
- 27:03destroy Peter. But the Bible says in verse five that
- 27:08prayers was made by the church.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Are we together without ceasing for him?
- 27:17Speaker 1: And then the Bible says, the moment the church began
- 27:20to pray, I was not there, but I can draw out.
- 27:25I can infer their prayer. Content Lord, bring Peter out
- 27:29of the prison. Bring him out of the prison.
- 27:32Speaker 2: He must not die.
- 27:34Speaker 1: And the Bible says, in response to their prayer, an
- 27:37angel comes to the prison and brings deliverance onto Peter.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Now watch this.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Then the Bible tells us that Peter was led out
- 27:48and the gates began to open. Now he was giving
- 27:51the liberty. And when you read from verse eleven forward,
- 27:55the Bible says, Peter came to the very house. When
- 28:00he came to the house where the prayer was happening
- 28:03for his deliverance, he knocked the door and said, this
- 28:07is the answer to your prayer. One young girl opened
- 28:10the door and saw him and said, no, it must
- 28:13be his angel. She closed the door, and they kept praying, Lord,
- 28:17deliver Peter. Lack of dessernment. How do you pray for
- 28:23something and then the answer comes and you cannot know? Allelujah.
- 28:29Lack of discernment Number two, The second reason why people
- 28:34experience losses, pain, tragedies, calamities.
- 28:40Speaker 2: I wrote here is carelessness. Carelessness.
- 28:44Speaker 1: The second reason carelessness Hebrews, chapter two and verse three
- 28:48carelessness carelessness. The Bible says, how shall we escape if
- 29:01we neglect so great a salvation? If you are careless
- 29:06and you take for granted, how shall we escape?
- 29:10Speaker 2: I wish I had the time.
- 29:11Speaker 1: To share with you a very interesting story under this point.
- 29:14It is found in the Book of Judges, chapter eleven, thirty.
- 29:16Speaker 2: To thirty five.
- 29:19Speaker 1: I prayed for my own self that God would help
- 29:23me to be free from carelessness when I read this scripture,
- 29:27a very interesting scripture about a warrior called Jefta. Jef
- 29:32Ta was one of the mighty men. He was a warrior,
- 29:35and this man on his own, God did not ask
- 29:38him to make a covenant. He got up. You can
- 29:41see a graphic representation of carelessness. He said, Oh God,
- 29:46if you will deliver the children of Ammon to my hands,
- 29:49here is my promise. The first thing that opens my door.
- 29:53As I return back, I will give to you sounds
- 29:58like spirituality, but that is carelessnes And truly he had
- 30:03great victory. And the Bible says, when he was returning home,
- 30:06watch this his daughter opened the door. The first first
- 30:12thing he would see what his daughter she had prepared
- 30:16instruments of music. You find that in verse thirty four
- 30:19this young girl was out to celebrate her father's return.
- 30:24Yet the man had carelessly made a statement that the
- 30:28first thing that comes out of his door he would
- 30:30sacrifice it. There are many people today who have brought
- 30:36self inflicted causes upon themselves because of carelessness.
- 30:41Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus and Prince for someone.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Either through careless speaking, either thrue careless associations. Whatever calamity
- 30:50you may have brought upon yourself, made the God of
- 30:53messy tonight, bail you out, Made the God of messy tonight,
- 30:57bail you out in the name of Jesus Christ number
- 31:01three very quickly. Why do men go through tragedies and pain,
- 31:09calamities and seasons of distress, ignorance of the loss of
- 31:15the kingdom, ignorance, ignorance of the loss of the kingdom,
- 31:20ignorance of the loss of life and destiny.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Allelujah.
- 31:28Speaker 1: An intelligent God will not design a system like this
- 31:32and allow men to free lance their way through it.
- 31:36There is an exact formula for living profitably upon the earth.
- 31:41Did you hear what I said? There is an exact
- 31:43formula for profitable living. There is also an exact formula
- 31:49for living a defeated life. You don't just live a
- 31:52defeated life. To live a defeated life, you work in
- 31:56keeping with certain principles. And to live a victorious life,
- 32:00you also work in keeping with certain principles. From Well
- 32:04chapter two twelve to seventeen. Then we also go to
- 32:09First and Wel chapter four. The Bible lets us know
- 32:11that Hoffney and Finnish has based on the principle they
- 32:16were supposed to use the fuck and to bring out
- 32:20a portion of meat, and whatever portion it brought was theirs.
- 32:26But they designed to start bringing choice portions for themselves,
- 32:30and they violated due process. Many people today have abused
- 32:34annoying things, abuse opportunities, abuse relationships.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 32:42Speaker 1: You may have hurt people in our worlds. Say I
- 32:45know this man, we used to be friends. I know
- 32:48this woman, we used to be classmates. The question is
- 32:52what changed. Usually abuse this honor will always close any door.
- 32:59Abuse of privileges, abuse of opportunities. Children have abused certain
- 33:05privileges that their parents created for them. Parents have abused
- 33:10certain privileges that they had with all due respect. Even
- 33:16men and women of God have abused privileges. In the
- 33:20corporate world, people have abused privileges. Abuse and misuse will
- 33:26always lead to tragedy.
- 33:31Speaker 2: A wise man, now of blessed memory, Dr.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Males Munroe, would say, when the purpose of a thing
- 33:37is not known, he says, abuse of it is inevitable.
- 33:42The word abuse comes from two words abnormal use. Every
- 33:47time a thing is taken out of its jurisdiction of purpose,
- 33:50it becomes abuse. The fourth reason why people go through
- 33:55tragedies let me quickly run through the remaining two number five.
- 34:00The fifth reason why people go through calamities and pain
- 34:06and stragedies is as a result of demonic attacks. Demonic
- 34:11attacks you cannot rule Satan out. There are times that
- 34:16you do everything right, but just because there is an
- 34:19adversary that is determined to twards the purposes of God
- 34:24in your life. Demonic attacks John chapter ten and verse ten.
- 34:29Jesus himself was teaching, and here's what he had to say.
- 34:32The thief comet not but for to steal and to
- 34:36kill and to destroy, he says, But I am calm
- 34:40that ye may have life, and that they may have
- 34:43it more abundantly. Jesus called set and a thief in
- 34:49First Preit Touch, chapter five and verse eight. First Preit Touch,
- 34:53chapter five and verse eight. First Bitter, chapter five and
- 35:01verse eight. Here's what Paul Peter now was admonition us
- 35:05to do. He says, be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary,
- 35:12the devil, as a roaring lion. He walked about. He
- 35:17walks about a bell kutta, he walks about Legos, he
- 35:21walks about Cardunacano. He works about Europe, he works about America.
- 35:26He walks about tall and from the entire earth, seeking
- 35:30whom he may divulce.
- 35:37Speaker 2: The diligence of Satan can be so inspiring.
- 35:40Speaker 1: The Bible tells us that when he was prop by God,
- 35:45he said, from whence have you called himself from working
- 35:47tall and through the eth That means, provided you are
- 35:51in the head one day, the possibility for meeting him
- 35:55or his representatives is one hundred.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Percent one day he will come around you.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Even Jesus said, Satan, come meth to me, say it
- 36:04and cometh to me.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Allelujah. What does it mean to have rest?
- 36:14Speaker 1: I have three expressions here that I believe capture the
- 36:19idea of rest is God speaking to someone already. Number One,
- 36:25to have rest means to have security. To have rest
- 36:32means to have security, any and all kinds of security.
- 36:41The moment it's time for you to sleep, the first
- 36:45thing you.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Do is to lock up your doors. Am I right
- 36:47on that?
- 36:48Speaker 1: You lock your car, you lock the main door, you
- 36:51switch off the light, and you are going to rest.
- 36:54So rest is connected to security, all kinds of security,
- 37:00spiritual security, financial security, relational security. Rest means security. Number two.
- 37:10Rest means freedom from our dominion over troubles and fears.
- 37:18Speaker 2: I'll take it again.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Rest means freedom from our dominion over freedom from our
- 37:27dominion over troubles and fears.
- 37:33Speaker 2: You are said to be in a position of rest
- 37:36when you have.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Freedom from, exempted from, or dominion over troubles and fears.
- 37:46Number three. As simple as this would sound, it is
- 37:50my most It is the clearest explanation.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Of rest for me. Rest in one word is peace.
- 38:01Rest in one word is peace.
- 38:06Speaker 1: They are so related that in our world we have
- 38:09used both words as a parting expression.
- 38:12Speaker 2: For people who leave the earth.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Here's what we say, rest in, not resting wisdom, not
- 38:21resting wealth, not rest in a well furnished grave. The
- 38:26only expression we can give to such a man that
- 38:30describes our idea of rest is peace. That means, in
- 38:35all you're getting, if it is minors peace, you have
- 38:38not found rest. If you have progress without peace, you
- 38:43have not entered rest. Are well learning tonight? The question tonight,
- 38:50as I seek to tie up my teaching, is that
- 38:53can a believer, can the believer in Christ experience rest?
- 39:00Speaker 2: Round about? Is that possible?
- 39:03Speaker 1: Is there such a possibility in the economy of God
- 39:07that a believer can be so fortified that the same
- 39:11way a believer is plagued with trouble on every side?
- 39:15Can a believer actually have rest on all sides? The
- 39:19answer is yes. Genesis twenty four and verse one. Let
- 39:28me request, when it is projected that we shout that
- 39:31scripture together in unison, ready one to read please. And
- 39:38Abraham was old and well stricken in age ahah and
- 39:44the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things. Someone says
- 39:49all things. All things means your spiritual life. Say all things,
- 39:55your finances, your home, your children. Yeah, is a man
- 40:01who represents a portrait of God's idea of a blessed man.
- 40:06And the Bible says, in spite of the tragedies and
- 40:10the calamities that he met somewhere in his life, it
- 40:14was just a page in his life. That at the
- 40:17end of Abraham's life he was old and well stricken
- 40:21in age. Yes it is true that he was once
- 40:24without child, but not forever. Yes it is true that
- 40:28he was once an idol worshiper from all of the Childians,
- 40:32but it was not forever. Let me professy to someone.
- 40:37Whatever negative name may be around your life, it is
- 40:40only a page of your destiny. I speak to you
- 40:43in the name of Jesus that my God is rewriting
- 40:46your story. My God is rewriting your story where you
- 40:51are being called barried. Barin is not the name you
- 40:53will have forever. Felure is not the name you will
- 40:56have forever. A victim is not the name you will
- 40:59have forever. They are pressed if not the name you
- 41:02have forever, Allelujah. Jacob got to a point in its
- 41:13life where he was tired of an old name, called
- 41:17a cheat and a supplanter, and he held on to
- 41:20God and he said, I will not let you go
- 41:23until you bless me. And in blessing him, his name
- 41:26was changed. How about the man called Jabez. The Bible
- 41:30says the mother named him after her pain. Jabez got
- 41:35angry and he cried to the God of heaven all
- 41:38that that would hast bless me, and latched my cost.
- 41:44When it's time to pray tonight, someone needs to be
- 41:47angry with your current situation and say, Lord, I did
- 41:50not come here tonight for negotiation. I must step in
- 41:55to the realm of rest on every side in the
- 41:59name of Jesus Christ. So can the believer in Christ
- 42:06experience rest on every side? The answer is yes. In
- 42:12spite of the economic situation, Yes, sir, In spite of
- 42:17the onslaughts of demonic forces around families and territories. Yes, sir,
- 42:24in spite of your delay in knowing God, Yes, sir,
- 42:29in spite of the fact that it looks like it's
- 42:31not easy to get jobs again, Yes, sir, in spite
- 42:35of the fact that it looks like there is such
- 42:37the Cardens, that is bedefinitely in our world. Yes, sir,
- 42:41the believer in Christ, not everyone. The believer in Christ
- 42:45has a superior advantage, and that in the presence of knowledge,
- 42:50you can step into rest on every side. What then,
- 42:56are the keys to entering rest? There are keys to
- 43:06entering rest.
- 43:08Speaker 2: In this kingdom.
- 43:11Speaker 1: The Saints excel by the use of keys. A key
- 43:16stands for access. There is the key to the kingdom.
- 43:22The key to the kingdom is Jesus. There are not
- 43:25many keys. There is only one key to the kingdom.
- 43:28But when you are in the kingdom, there are the
- 43:30keys off the kingdom, the principles and the mysteries by
- 43:36which the Saints reign. Allelujah. The Bible says they know not,
- 43:45neither will they understand Psalm eighty to one, Verse five.
- 43:48They work on in darkness, and all the foundations of
- 43:51the earth are out of course. Verse sixcess I have said,
- 43:55ye are gods, and all of you not some of
- 43:58you not men of God, businessmen, not elders, not children.
- 44:02Speaker 2: All of you are children of the most High.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Verse seven says, but you shall die like mein men
- 44:09and fall like one of the princes. Josia began to
- 44:14Lament in chapter four and verse six, he said, speaking
- 44:18by the spirit, my people are destroyed.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Listen carefully, please, my people.
- 44:25Speaker 1: That includes preachers, my people, that includes businessmen, My people,
- 44:30that includes people from all the six your political zones
- 44:33captured in this nation and across.
- 44:35Speaker 2: The nations of the earth.
- 44:37Speaker 1: My people. And yet he says, they are destroyed for
- 44:42the lack of knowledge. For the lack of knowledge, please
- 44:49lend me your attention for the next few minutes. That
- 44:51we have haven't established the fact that calamity is the
- 44:58potential lot of all all men. Calamities, tragedies, pains, discomfort
- 45:06is the potential lot of all men by default, but
- 45:12that there is a system in Christ that men and
- 45:17women can build themselves out of tragedies and calamities and
- 45:22master the art of exerting dominion, and by that they
- 45:28establish practically in and through their lives, that.
- 45:31Speaker 2: A man can have rest on every side. Key number one?
- 45:38Speaker 1: What is the first key for anyone, whether following here
- 45:44this beautiful campground, or following by way of television from
- 45:47any nation at all, following online? What is my first key?
- 45:52If I want to step into the realm of rest
- 45:57round about? Are you ready that this decision to be
- 46:01spiritually minded. The first key, non negotiable key for anyone
- 46:10who desires to work in the experience of rest roundabout
- 46:16rest on every side is to be spiritually minded Romans
- 46:21eight six. Romans eight six. Paul was speaking, and is
- 46:30said to be cannally minded is already death, death in
- 46:35its entirety, And then it says, but to be spiritually
- 46:40minded is life and with it peace.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Spiritually minded.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Spirituality involves a number of many experiences and dimensions, the
- 46:55chiefs of them been your encounter with the Lord Jesus.
- 46:59You may want to write this on thats being spiritually minded.
- 47:04True spirituality starts not just with your coming to church,
- 47:09not just with your listening to a man of God,
- 47:11not just with your listening to a message. True spirituality
- 47:15starts with your encounter with the Lord Jesus. Are we
- 47:21still learning, still examining the first key that to find
- 47:25rest roundabout you must be spiritually minded, and that the
- 47:31pathway to becoming spiritually minded is number one, to have
- 47:35an encounter with Jesus. Matthew, Chapter eleven and verse twenty eight.
- 47:39I love Jesus. Here's what he has to say Matthew
- 47:43eleven twenty eight. Can we read it together? One to read?
- 47:48Please come on to me, all ye that label and
- 47:53a heavy leaden. What's the reward? I will give you rest,
- 48:00not just life. I will give your family rest. I
- 48:06will give your ministry rest. I will give your business rest.
- 48:10I will give your children rest. I will give your
- 48:14health the rest. But the keys come on to me,
- 48:18Come on to me. The Bible tells us the story
- 48:23of a young boy called the prodigal Son. That boy
- 48:26had his share of the inheritance and went to live
- 48:29at ryotos life, and when he had so declined to
- 48:33a point that he was the epitomy of calamity and felure.
- 48:36The Bible says he got up one day and said
- 48:39to himself, how many hired servants as my father, and
- 48:42I am here feeding with the swine. I like the boy,
- 48:45He said, I will arise. He didn't say, my father
- 48:49will come and meet me there. The father never came
- 48:53to meet him in the place of dicadens. I will arise,
- 48:57and I will go to my father. And when I
- 49:00say my father, I will say unto him, Father, I
- 49:03have sin against you and against Heaven. I am not
- 49:06worthy to be called your son, Take me as one
- 49:09of your slaves. As soon as he got up and
- 49:12began to move, the father also left his house and
- 49:16began to move. They met somewhere at the.
- 49:19Speaker 2: Point of his decision and encounter with Jesus.
- 49:24Speaker 1: There are many people who want to receive from God,
- 49:27but they do not desire to be spiritual. With all
- 49:30due respect, many politicians, many businessmen, captains of industry, parents,
- 49:38young people especially, they do not desire to have an
- 49:42encounter with Jesus, but they want the fruits of encounter.
- 49:46There are certain things that cannot be received through a
- 49:50back door. Jesus said this about himself. I am the way,
- 49:54not away the way. There is a way that samn
- 49:57right onto a man, the Bible says, but other ways
- 50:00of death. But hees Jesus speaking, He says, I am
- 50:03the way, I am the truth, I am the Life.
- 50:06He says, no man comment to the Father except through
- 50:10me and encounter with Jesus. When you encounter Jesus, you
- 50:18are already on your way to being secure. Proverbs eighteen
- 50:22ten Proverbs chapter eighteen and verse ten, very powerful and
- 50:27profound rendition. He says, the name of the Lord is
- 50:30a strong tower. Hallelujah. The right shous runs into it,
- 50:35and they are say the name of the Lord, the
- 50:39name of the Lord, not the name of a man.
- 50:42The name of the Lord is a strong tower. There
- 50:45is no house on heir that you can hide two
- 50:48in away from demons. You can hide away from m roberts.
- 50:54The military can protect you against physical forces, but they
- 50:58may not be able to protect you against principalities and
- 51:01powers and rulers of darkness, age, long causes that are
- 51:05determined to reduce you to a place of shame. But
- 51:09my Bible says the name of the Lord is a
- 51:12strong power that the writers can run into it and
- 51:15be shore that what killed my father will not kill
- 51:18me again. What killed my mother would not kill me again.
- 51:21What destroyed people from my lineage would not. I can
- 51:24redefine my possibilities when I run to Jesus, allelujah. You
- 51:33believe that, Oh God, you are my God, and I
- 51:41will have a phrases oga you mya and night will
- 51:52have praisy. I will seek you with the morn I
- 52:01have learnt to walk in your ways. Step bus, you
- 52:09leave me, and I will follow you all of my days.
- 52:17Speaker 6: For step by step you leave me, and I will
- 52:23follow you all of my days.
- 52:27Speaker 7: Oh God, you are my God, and I will ever
- 52:35praise you. Oh God, you are my God, and I
- 52:44will ever love you.
- 52:48Speaker 2: I will see you with the morning.
- 52:53Speaker 1: I have learnt to walk in your ways. For step
- 53:00mist you leave.
- 53:02Speaker 2: Me, and now I will follow you all of my day.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Listen, ladies and gentlemen, hear me. This business of Jesus
- 53:14Christ is beyond church. This issue of Jesus Christ is
- 53:20beyond the pretense and the hypocrisy.
- 53:24Speaker 2: The form of godliness.
- 53:26Speaker 1: This issue of Jesus must be a genuine encounter. There
- 53:31are many things you cannot fake. One of it is
- 53:34a solid, genuine encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. With
- 53:40all due respect, there are many people in church who
- 53:45have not met him. There are many people in ministry
- 53:50who have not met him. There are many people serving
- 53:55at various levels in ministries and Christian organizations who are
- 54:00working for God but not with him.
- 54:05Speaker 2: Please listen, Please.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Listen, while I watch several people dancing to the praise
- 54:14and worship powerfully. Among the many things that moved in
- 54:17my spirit was O God. I pray and hope that
- 54:20this dance is to a god they know. I pray
- 54:25and hope that this sweating and rejoicing is to a god.
- 54:29You know, because there were men in a place called
- 54:32Athens who were doing obey sense to an unknown God.
- 54:38There are many people giving to an unknown god, singing
- 54:42to an unknown god, preaching for an unknown god, moving
- 54:47from place to place, wearing t shirts carrying the name
- 54:51of a god they do not know. You want the
- 54:55rest roundabout? There are things that men cannot give. Rest
- 55:01is not found in a bank. You don't find rest
- 55:04in a university. There is no cause called rest. There
- 55:11is no chef who can cook a meal called rest. No,
- 55:14it does not exist in the world of men. Rest
- 55:17only resides with the ancient of days. I will give
- 55:23you rest. I will give you rest. Now watch this
- 55:31what discussing being spiritually minded?
- 55:33Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 55:34Speaker 1: Hear me. At the end of my discourse, I'm going
- 55:37to be making an altar call, and I believe there
- 55:40are people here. You've been around the things of God
- 55:43for a long time. You perhaps may have had an
- 55:46opportunity to serve in various capacities in church. That does
- 55:49not equal to an encounter with God. Having a Christian
- 55:53name coming from a Christian family. As advantageous as these are,
- 55:57they do not in themselves translate to salvation.
- 56:02Speaker 2: You must encounter the God of the Bible, the God
- 56:07of the Bible. Allelujah.
- 56:14Speaker 1: You are my God, you were my God. How can
- 56:30I call on your name and end up in shape?
- 56:37No way, no way.
- 56:44Speaker 6: How can I sing the song before you and then
- 56:48found down before a man?
- 56:51Speaker 1: No way, no way. Because you are my God. Ladies
- 57:10and gentlemen. I'd rather be a failure with God than
- 57:14to succeed without you. And when I say God, I'm
- 57:17talking about Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.
- 57:20Because God in our world today means anything. There are
- 57:24people God means themselves.
- 57:27Speaker 2: There are others. God means their bank accounts.
- 57:31Speaker 1: There are others God means they have several qualifications. As
- 57:34important as that is. My Bible says trust in the
- 57:37Lord with all your heart. Probhaps three and verse five.
- 57:40It says, lean not onto your own understanding.
- 57:43Speaker 2: Verse six sys in.
- 57:43Speaker 1: All your ways, acknowledge she Man, She shall direct your path.
- 57:48Verse seven says be not wise in your own understanding.
- 57:51He says, fear the Lord and depart, turn away from
- 57:55evil except the lord builty house, My boy says, they
- 58:00labor in vain, that would build it, except the lord
- 58:03watches over his city.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Said the watchman watched but in vain.
- 58:06Speaker 1: That it is vain to wake up in the morning
- 58:08and to sleep late at night, only to eat the
- 58:11bread of sorrow. The Sami said, how many a day
- 58:14that rise up against me? Some three many a day
- 58:17that say where is your help? But he says, thou, o, Lord, thou,
- 58:21oh Lord, thou, o Lord, you are a shield for me.
- 58:25He calls him, my glory, and the leaft tarop of
- 58:27my head. The Bible says, they looked on to him,
- 58:30and their faces were lightened. You cannot look up to
- 58:33him and be in shame. When the serpents came to
- 58:40a present nation of Israel, they had an opportunity to
- 58:44look two directions, the brazen serpent representing the cross, or
- 58:49the one that was coming to them.
- 58:56Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Behind the exploits and the rest of men that we
- 59:01admire in our world today, men and women in ministry,
- 59:05champions in the kingdom, in business, in family. Behind all
- 59:11the excellence the admirable results is a passion for God.
- 59:17I've had the honor of your opportunity to meet people
- 59:19whose lives are an epitomy of excellence behind all of
- 59:24that paraphernalia. When you come to them, you find out
- 59:28that their real secret is not the intellect. Their real
- 59:31secret is not the banking skill. Their real secret is
- 59:34their love and their passion for Jesus Allelujah. In addition
- 59:42to having an encounter with Jesus, you want to become
- 59:46spiritually minded. Your prayer all times be on fire. We're
- 59:50still discussing point one. This is what it takes to
- 59:54be spiritually minded. Number one, to have an encounter with
- 59:58the Son of the Living God. Number two. Your prayer life.
- 1:00:02It is the Apostolic model that was left with the church.
- 1:00:06You want to be spiritual, it is not without a
- 1:00:09healthy prayer life, adds chapter two and verse forty two.
- 1:00:13The Bible says, and they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine,
- 1:00:18and in fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayer.
- 1:00:24At chapter six and verse four, it says, but we
- 1:00:27will give ourselves continually to prayer and the ministry of
- 1:00:32the world.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: Look chapter eighteen and verse one.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: He expect a parable to the end that men ought
- 1:00:39always to pray and not to faint. First the Salonia,
- 1:00:43chapter five and verse seventeen, he says, pray without seasing. James,
- 1:00:49chapter five and verse thirteen. Is any man afflicted, he says,
- 1:00:53let him pray. Mark eleven and verse twenty four. It says,
- 1:00:58what things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that
- 1:01:03thou receivest them, and thou shalt have it. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:01:08the men who will command exploits in their world and
- 1:01:12find rest tame life like an animal are men and
- 1:01:16women who understand the mysteries of the altar. We must
- 1:01:23obtain grace to pray. We must obtain grace to pray.
- 1:01:28Prayer is not for men of God. It's not for
- 1:01:30pastors and apostles and evangelists.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Please listen to me. Their parents and the aged another prophet, as.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Was old, she still prayed. Young men, Jesus prayed. You
- 1:01:43must pray. We must revite prayer as a culture with understanding.
- 1:01:49A generation that does not pray will be a weak
- 1:01:53generation that will never see the power of God. I
- 1:01:56tell you sincerely, and I'm not just talking of need
- 1:01:59driven pray. Give me, give me, give me I'm talking
- 1:02:02of men who build capacity within the spirit. Peter say,
- 1:02:07desire to sift you like Wait, it says what I
- 1:02:10have prayed for you. That's your faith fell not and
- 1:02:14when thou I confided, strengthen your brethren. Show me a
- 1:02:20man of God who prays. I show you a victor,
- 1:02:23one who will have rest on every side. Show me
- 1:02:25a business man who prays. Show me a mother who prays,
- 1:02:31no matter how stop on that child is. Let the
- 1:02:34mother keep praying. One day, fire from heaven will look
- 1:02:38at that child no matter where he is. I tell
- 1:02:41you most people do not know the power in prayer.
- 1:02:44Go and read charge history and see people who shifted
- 1:02:48the spiritual climate or fur nations not with the power
- 1:02:53of prayer.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Prayer with understanding can change things, Yes it can.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Elijah was a man of life passion, the Bible says,
- 1:03:05Yet he prayed saying the name of Jesus one more time.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus, I obtain grace to pray.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: If you came here and your prayer life has gone down,
- 1:03:16or perhaps until now you have believed that anyone who
- 1:03:20is serious in the prayer life must be someone who
- 1:03:23is getting into ministry. Please give yourself a renewed orientation.
- 1:03:27Prayer is an instrument for time survival. You cannot escape
- 1:03:33the arrows that fly by day, the noise and persilences,
- 1:03:37the destruction that waste in noonday. Pray for me. Pray
- 1:03:41for me is wonderful, but you must learn to fund
- 1:03:44the ambers the flames from your own altar. There me,
- 1:03:53young people, I hate to be a braa of bad news,
- 1:03:58but let me make an honest admission. The days today
- 1:04:02are very different from the days of our parents. The
- 1:04:06level of honesty has changed. The level of sincerity has changed.
- 1:04:11You will have to use the weapon of prayer to
- 1:04:13create your own reality, or otherwise get said to join
- 1:04:17a long queue that may never move away. Together, sir, prayer, gentlemen, pray, pray, pray,
- 1:04:32and part of what I don't have a job yet
- 1:04:34good news.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Pray.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Use that time to pray while you are waiting. The
- 1:04:39Bible says, watch and pray. There is a devil who
- 1:04:43has found that you will not rise. He says, say
- 1:04:46on to God, how terrible are that when I walk
- 1:04:49some sixty six and us three through the greatness of
- 1:04:52Thy power shall die? Enemies submit themselves to you you
- 1:04:57want to tame life, you must start out of prayer. Mommy,
- 1:05:03don't watch your children become umbrobers and hooligans and says
- 1:05:07just the times is their days. Don't let them send
- 1:05:10you to the grave. No, you may not have the
- 1:05:14strength to find them because they are now bigger than you,
- 1:05:16or you can bring them to their niece to prayer. Father,
- 1:05:22I will not. My womb will not give back to
- 1:05:24a numbrober. No, my womb will not give bad to
- 1:05:27a prostitute. I cannot give back to a child that
- 1:05:30will be the reason for me to die early.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: Allelujah.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: When ministry is not working, Man of God, pray, don't complain.
- 1:05:40There is no reward for complaining.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: Pray, pray.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Someone looks at you in the place of work and justys,
- 1:05:48I hate you. You are supposed to be the next director.
- 1:05:50What I hate you. You are not my tribe, You
- 1:05:53are not this, and you in there will only be
- 1:05:56you be recording calamity upon calamity. Leave them in peace.
- 1:06:00Go back to the central control room of the universe
- 1:06:03and begin to pray certain things. Do you believe what
- 1:06:08you're hearing? Then, in addition to prayer, you must be
- 1:06:15sound in Scripture, Now let me submit to you. Haven't
- 1:06:20encourage you to pray. Prayer in ignorance is just wasting
- 1:06:24your energy. What gives power to prayer is the word
- 1:06:28compliancy of your prayer. This we have a generation of
- 1:06:33prayer for people, but most people pray amiss. What gives
- 1:06:38power to your prayer is its word compliancy. Beyond the
- 1:06:44sound of your voice, beyond your sweating and rolling from
- 1:06:47left to right. If there is no word compliancy to
- 1:06:51your prayer, you simply dissipated energy in futility?
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Are we together sound?
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: In Scripture as chapter twenty and verse thirty two, he says,
- 1:07:04And now, brethren, I commend you onto God and to
- 1:07:09the word of His grace, which is able to build
- 1:07:13you up, he says, and to give you an inheritance
- 1:07:16among them that are sanctified John one one to three.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: In the beginning was.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: The Word, and the word was with God, and the
- 1:07:28Word was God. The Bible says the same was in
- 1:07:31the beginning with God. Verse three says all things were
- 1:07:35made by him the Word, all things, including your tomorrow,
- 1:07:40made by the Word, and without him was not anything
- 1:07:44made that was made. The boundary of God's commitment to
- 1:07:51the believer is his word. God cannot be committed to
- 1:07:56the believer outside of the boundary of his world. Please listen,
- 1:08:00love and people of God. God only does what he says,
- 1:08:04not what you want. If what you want is consistent
- 1:08:07with what he says, then it will be done. God
- 1:08:10never never does anything that is outside.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: Of what he has said.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Please give us Genesis twenty one and verse one. I
- 1:08:19want us to shout, it's God helping someone's spiritually minded.
- 1:08:24But discausing the case now, because rest roundabout is not
- 1:08:29a gift. Jesus said, I will give you rest. The
- 1:08:33word give you there does not mean you will not
- 1:08:35do anything, and you will just have it because you
- 1:08:37will be learning that. Paul was giving perspective to our
- 1:08:40understanding of rest. He said, dearly minute a rest for
- 1:08:44the people of God. Genesis twenty one and verse one.
- 1:08:49You see that it's good to come to church. The
- 1:08:52Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the cheap, best
- 1:08:55institution that sponsors transformation. You don't have to write jamp.
- 1:09:00There is no age restriction, Allelujah. All other institutions have quotas.
- 1:09:05Once the quotera is full. Sorry for you, but the church.
- 1:09:08All you need to do is leave your house and
- 1:09:10come and sit down. You're not paying school fe ish.
- 1:09:13Your school fez is your humility and your meekness and
- 1:09:15your diligence.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: This is important so that government will know that the
- 1:09:23church is not a.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Nuisance to civilization. The Church is an active part of
- 1:09:30the transforming force of society. It is true.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: How did I get here?
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Genesis twenty one, verse one, Please let's read it together.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: Ready, one to read.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: And the Lord visited Sarah as he has said. And
- 1:09:48the Lord did onto Sarah. He did not visit Sarah
- 1:09:54as she wanted. No, the visitation was not based on
- 1:09:58her need. It was based on his word. The Lord
- 1:10:01visited Joshua Sealman as he has said. If you cannot
- 1:10:06find what God has said, you will never find what
- 1:10:08he can do. It is what he has said that
- 1:10:12you will do. Show me what God has said, and
- 1:10:15I show you what he can do. Show me what
- 1:10:18God has said, and I show you what you will do.
- 1:10:21Did God say you will heal you, Then I show
- 1:10:23you that is power can heal you. Did God say
- 1:10:26you will lift you up? Then I show you that
- 1:10:28no power can keep you down? Did God say you
- 1:10:31can give you rest roundabout? Where is that spirit that
- 1:10:35we want to tell you? When God has said allelujah?
- 1:10:41Genesis chapter one, verse three, the first three words, and
- 1:10:46God said, and God said, CALLI capo theater. And God said,
- 1:10:59when you find what God has said, then you find
- 1:11:02what his power can do. The limit of God's power
- 1:11:07is where his word stops. And since his word is unlimited,
- 1:11:11it is true that his power is on limited. I
- 1:11:14will learning be spiritually minded. Let me give you the
- 1:11:20last I have a few minutes, and I intend to
- 1:11:23take a part of it.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: So that will pray.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: So the decision to be spiritually minded becomes for us
- 1:11:33the first key to experiencing rest on every side. And
- 1:11:39I'm now explaining to you the implication of being spiritually
- 1:11:42minded that number one, it necessitates and encounter with Jesus,
- 1:11:47the Son of the Living God. Number two, that your
- 1:11:49prayer life has to be alivee and robust. Number three,
- 1:11:53your spiritual understanding needs to be heightened because according to
- 1:11:58Isaiah chapter sixty and verse it says, you will only
- 1:12:01arise and you will shine if and when your life
- 1:12:04comes longevity of your stay that's not equal to victory.
- 1:12:11The man was at the pull of bethesda for thirty
- 1:12:13eight years. Time did not change his situation. The day
- 1:12:18the light of the world came to him, he was
- 1:12:20ready to rise. The Bible says, but the people that
- 1:12:24sat in darkness have seen a great Light's God speaking
- 1:12:27to us. Let me challenge you, therefore, by the messes
- 1:12:31of God, that in the course of this convention, go
- 1:12:34and find relevant materials, materials that speak to the various
- 1:12:40issues of concern, whether electronically or by way of print.
- 1:12:46It is your responsibility under God to pursue truth. The
- 1:12:50Bible says, by the truth, there are certain currencies we
- 1:12:54used to buy the truth number one hunger, number two, meekness,
- 1:12:59number three, passion. These are the currencies that we used
- 1:13:03to buy the truth. And the Bible says, if you
- 1:13:05do find the truth, it is a send it not allelujah,
- 1:13:11is someone learning. Many believers work based on superstitious ideas,
- 1:13:17And with all due respect, it is this bankruptcy of
- 1:13:21light that has impor verished us as a people and
- 1:13:25as a continent. We have all kinds of white sayings
- 1:13:29that are not based on scripture. One day, go better,
- 1:13:32no sir, no, sir, No, sir, you define your lot
- 1:13:37by light?
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: Are we together amplified?
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Isaiah sixty and verse one says, arise from the depression
- 1:13:46and the prostration that circumstances have kept.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: You, rise to a new life.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: When I found out that the responsibility of understanding was mine,
- 1:13:59I've found before God that there will be no excuse.
- 1:14:03I hate ignorance with passion, and I am ever open
- 1:14:08to know the areas where I am ignorant in How
- 1:14:11do you know your areas of ignorance? The areas where
- 1:14:14darkness drives, the area where pain exists. The area where
- 1:14:19suffering and pain perpetually remains is the area of darkness.
- 1:14:25Such for the relevant materials. If it's your finances, don't
- 1:14:30keep quiet and say my uncle has the power to
- 1:14:33lift me, but it's not attending to me. No. The
- 1:14:38word responsible comes from the word responsive. Responsible people are
- 1:14:44people of action. They don't sit down and wait for
- 1:14:47things to happen. Why is my finance like this? Why
- 1:14:51am I always fighting with my husband? This marriage is
- 1:14:55not a course. Why are my children stop on not
- 1:14:57obeying me? Why does everybody hates me? It is not
- 1:15:05unusual to be hated, But if everybody hates you, something
- 1:15:08is wrong with you, because even Satan, it's not everybody
- 1:15:13that hates him, Allelujah, there are people.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: Who love him.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: So if everybody around you hates you, it's not just
- 1:15:21a spiritual problem. You are perpetually violating something. Somebody should
- 1:15:26like you enough, and all you need is for one person,
- 1:15:29and if that person is king a hazardous you become
- 1:15:32the queen immediately. It didn't matter how many people hate
- 1:15:39that esther. The right person who needed to love her
- 1:15:42made her queen. It didn't matter how many people hate
- 1:15:45that and ahbayah. When the king loved him as a compiera,
- 1:15:48he got favor. Who hates you does not matter, but
- 1:15:52who likes you in this kingdom. I'm praying for someone
- 1:15:55the grace that must rest upon you and cause men
- 1:15:59to find favor with men in the name of Jesus
- 1:16:02made that Christ come upon you now, allelujah. I think
- 1:16:09I'll give one more than we'll pray. I'll finish up
- 1:16:12the remaining tomorrow. Is that a good deal? So I've
- 1:16:17given you number one, the decision to be spiritually minded.
- 1:16:20Let's do number two. What is the second key to
- 1:16:23experiencing rest on every side? You must leave by faith.
- 1:16:29You must leave by faith. Hulbert Couk Chapter two and
- 1:16:38verse four. You also find that in Hebrews ten and
- 1:16:42verse thirty eight, the just shall leave by faith. Four times.
- 1:16:47In scripture, the Bible repeats it almost verbatim, that the
- 1:16:52just shall leave by faith. The just shall leave by faith.
- 1:16:59First John, Chapter five and verse four. First John Chapter
- 1:17:03five and verse four. First John Chapter five and verse four.
- 1:17:08For whatsoever is born of God, that includes Joshua Selman,
- 1:17:13whatsoever is born of God over commet the world. And
- 1:17:18it says, this is the victory that overcome the world.
- 1:17:21Help me even our faith. The man who has faith
- 1:17:28is an overcomer. Indeed. And in one word, ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:17:33faith is obedience. In one word, faith is obedience. No
- 1:17:39matter your definition of faith, if it does not capture.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: Obedience, you did not define it.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: Let me give you two definitions for faith if you
- 1:17:47don't mind.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Number one, faith is the confidence you have, the depth
- 1:17:55of conviction that you have about God, and the in
- 1:18:00tegrity of His word. Number one, faith is defined as
- 1:18:05your confidence, your conviction about God and the integrity of
- 1:18:13his word. The confidence and the conviction you have about
- 1:18:22God and the integrity of his word. Second definition, please,
- 1:18:27Faith is the name given to the action of obedience
- 1:18:31you think. Faith is the name given to the action
- 1:18:37of obedience you take as proof that you believe. Faith
- 1:18:42is the name given to the action of obedience you
- 1:18:47take as proof that you believe. The proof of hearing
- 1:18:55is accurate response if you have heard me, I know
- 1:18:59you have heard me, because you would respond accordingly.
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: Faith is defined is the name given to the action
- 1:19:10that you take as.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: Proof that you believe God.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: If it be down, bid me come, and he said come.
- 1:19:21Most believers do not know how to live by faith.
- 1:19:25Faith is beyond confessing the Word, as important as that is.
- 1:19:29Faith is beyond agreeing with God as important as that is.
- 1:19:34Those are just various equations that ultimately lead to faith.
- 1:19:38The foundation for Bible faith is an awareness of the
- 1:19:42promises of God. The Bible essentially is a concise capture
- 1:19:49of promises, principles, and prophecies. You may want to write
- 1:19:53that down that every time you open your Bible, you
- 1:19:56are relating with three realms of realities. One promises a
- 1:20:01definition of God's commitment to you. Scattered from Genesis to
- 1:20:06revelation promises. Number two principles, the modus operandi of the
- 1:20:11kingdom teaches you how to live a victorious life.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: Then number three prophecies that give.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: Perspective and definition to the events present and the events past,
- 1:20:25and events that are yet to happen. So every time
- 1:20:30you lay hold on God's promises, then you obtain grace
- 1:20:35to obey. Until you know the demands to commit God
- 1:20:41and then obey them, you are not working by faith.
- 1:20:44Let me repeat myself again for your understanding. Until you
- 1:20:47know the demands connected to every result. The Word of
- 1:20:53God and God is a compendium of infinite possibilities. But
- 1:20:57for every result you desire it kingdom, healing, breakthrough, prosperity,
- 1:21:03there is a demand. There is always what God says
- 1:21:09to do to commit him. When you find it, and
- 1:21:13you obtain grace to work in keeping with that instruction,
- 1:21:17then you are working by faith. I submit to you
- 1:21:20therefore that on the strength of this definition, many believers
- 1:21:24are not working by faith. They are working on sincere assumptions.
- 1:21:29They're working on hope. They're speaking, Lord, I believe you,
- 1:21:33but they are not working by faith.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: If I ask one of our wonderful protocol.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: People here.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: If I ask them to come and say, collect my bible.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Whoever comes to collect my bible, I tell them there
- 1:21:46is one hundred dollars bill insight.
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: That's your reward for obedience.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: If the gentleman there starts jumping and says, I'm coming,
- 1:21:52believe me, just a sermon. I trust you. I know
- 1:21:55you are not a liar. It is it on you
- 1:21:57the other day you gave all that talk. Does not
- 1:21:59you will never get it as wonderful as that is.
- 1:22:02The instruction is, whoever can take the risk can come
- 1:22:07someone who begin to speak from nineteen nineteen nineteen today
- 1:22:10nothing happens, and another person in one day will get
- 1:22:14up and obey. The one who obeys is the one
- 1:22:17who receives, not the one who knows. The Bible says,
- 1:22:23now that ye know, these things happier you if you
- 1:22:26do them. Theuonomy chapter twenty eight, from verse one and two.
- 1:22:30And it shall come to pass, the Bible says, if
- 1:22:33thou shalt diligently happen to the voice of the Lord
- 1:22:36that God, to do and to observe to do, and
- 1:22:39to observe to do, and to observe to do, and
- 1:22:43to observe. That is the character of faith, to do
- 1:22:46and to observe all that I command you this day.
- 1:22:50The reward the Lord your God will set sty on
- 1:22:52high above all the nations of the earth verse two.
- 1:22:56And all these blessings will come upon you and will
- 1:23:00overtake you. You hacken to the voice of the Lord.
- 1:23:05Then you observe, and you do.
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus, the grace to do may
- 1:23:11be released upon you.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: The first miracle that was performed by Jesus was the
- 1:23:16turning of water to wine in kena of Galilee. You
- 1:23:20find that in John chapter two. The Bible lets us
- 1:23:23know that it was a feast just like this, and
- 1:23:26wine had finished, and shame was already imminent. And the
- 1:23:30Bible tells us that the disciples came and met Mary, the.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Mother of Jesus.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: She takes them to Jesus and says, Jesus says, no, no,
- 1:23:37it's not yet my time, and she gives them.
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: A very profound instruction. In verse five. She says, whatever
- 1:23:43he says to do, do it.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: Whatever he says to do, not think it, not wish it,
- 1:23:53not assume it.
- 1:23:54Speaker 8: Do it.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: The moment doing came the willingness to do came Jesus
- 1:24:00gave an instruction, and when you read verse ten and eleven,
- 1:24:04the Bible tells us this beginning of miracles did Jesus
- 1:24:08in Cana of Galilee verse eleven, and manifested his glory,
- 1:24:14and the disciples believed on him.
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: Rest roundabout you now say that it's.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Not just a gift. It is a reward for working
- 1:24:28and keeping with certain principles. Let me recap one last time,
- 1:24:32and we pray that the key to exerting dominion over
- 1:24:37situations and circumstances, commanding your portion of rest on every
- 1:24:42side is number one. To be spiritually minded. That starts
- 1:24:47with your encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, your salvation
- 1:24:51of experience. Then it translates to the health of your
- 1:24:55prayer life, the health of your word study, so all
- 1:25:00that spiritual exercises, fasting, and so on and so forth.
- 1:25:04And then number two, you must learn to live by faith.
- 1:25:10To live by faith means to live by the word
- 1:25:12of God. For Jesus himself said, man shall not live
- 1:25:15by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded from
- 1:25:19the mouth of God. That means a believer leaves on
- 1:25:22two things bread and scriptural instructions. If you live on
- 1:25:27bread alone, you will be wary. Your bread will be spent.
- 1:25:31It is bread and scriptural instructions. Allelujah. We're going to
- 1:25:39pray tonight. I'll stop here and then we'll continue tomorrow.
- 1:25:45There are two other points that I want to show you,
- 1:25:49but allow me. In the next three or two minutes.
- 1:25:52I'm going to request that we are rise to pray,
- 1:25:55and then I will speak over our lives. So night,
- 1:25:59and then wrap it for my session. Have you been
- 1:26:01blessed tonight? Please ripes up on your feet.
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: M hm hm.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: This is the air I breathe.
- 1:26:18Speaker 8: This is the.
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: Your wholy presence leaving in me.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: This is my day.
- 1:26:49Speaker 7: This is my day.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Your fair rever.
- 1:27:02Speaker 3: Spoke to me. Nah, and that's before.
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: And I'm not sway that. Go ahead and begin to
- 1:27:39talk to the law and shuddently from your heart? Shall
- 1:27:43I desire?
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: Rest?
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: Rest round about someone's praying. Men, show the very different
- 1:27:52areas in your life where you are trusting him for rest,
- 1:27:58m m m.
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: Rest.
- 1:28:05Speaker 5: Rest, Rest in my finances. Someone is praying, Rest in
- 1:28:12my family, Rest in my health.
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: This five roids, this cancer, this pro stract condition, this
- 1:28:21board condition, this defora, eat it into my health. I
- 1:28:27desire rest round about.
- 1:28:34Speaker 8: Spiritual rest, carryer rest, rest in the area of fruitfulness.
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: Go ahead, take a minute or two.
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: You are talking to your savior, your King, your maker,
- 1:28:48the cauntain of your salvation. Sava la cala yourself. Someone pray,
- 1:29:08someone pray you were my strength when I am. You
- 1:29:18are dis rssier, you are mine. I'm seeing you, so.
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: Your deep.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: My listal some littal voice of your worship.
- 1:29:54Speaker 3: You s.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: You are worthy to.
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: Be glow with.
- 1:30:16Speaker 6: Five.
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: You are worthy of my teaker. You are worthy to
- 1:30:23be clone. Five. You are.
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: In and through my life.
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: You are what.
- 1:30:32Speaker 6: You are.
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: You adeluyah.
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: Are you praying now?
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: You're going to answer Lord for a fresh passion for him,
- 1:30:53a fresh passion for his presence. Go ahead and pray.
- 1:30:59If this is all you're receiving, this convention was a
- 1:31:02wise bagame cry five tresh passion to love you more
- 1:31:11than money, to love you more than titles, to love
- 1:31:16you modern career, more than ambition. Someone pray. You're talking
- 1:31:26to your makeup. Take a minute or to to pray. Lord.
- 1:31:30I desire to love you, not meaning noting a Christian,
- 1:31:35a shorge goer.
- 1:31:47Speaker 8: Asking for fresh fire upon your prayer life. Fresh fire
- 1:31:53upon your prayer life, trash fire upon your prayer life,
- 1:31:58fresh passion for the study of the world, fresh passion
- 1:32:04for spiritrual understanding, fresh passion for the House.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: Of God, the things of God, for the end that
- 1:32:13you'll be spirit trully minded. Somebody is trying.
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: Rest wrong about.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: Yes, the world.
- 1:32:39Speaker 6: Will bow down and say you are God. Heavy man,
- 1:32:48We'll bow down and say you monkey.
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: So let's start why peace war with you?
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: Just what? Alle lujah?
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: Now I want to make an altar call. You are
- 1:33:22in this place, and whilst you heard me speak, the
- 1:33:25spirit of God began to convince you that you need
- 1:33:28to make your way right with Jesus. No man condemns you,
- 1:33:33but I call you in love to experience the messy
- 1:33:36of Jesus. You cannot assume salvation. No salvation in Jesus
- 1:33:43Christ only comes when you come willingly to declare His
- 1:33:48lordship over your life. I'm going to come one to five.
- 1:33:51I want to leave your city. You need Jesus, run
- 1:33:55and come and cry before the Lord on the altar here.
- 1:33:58Don't wait for anyone to be the first, be the
- 1:34:01first to say apostle. I need Jesus in my life.
- 1:34:05I begin to count. Now, don't wait for someone to come.
- 1:34:08You are the first person and pronounce. Someone is saying
- 1:34:12I need to re dedicate my life, to make my
- 1:34:15ways right with Jesus. I begin to count.
- 1:34:18Speaker 3: One.
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: Let's telebrndum as they come. Two run to Jesus. Yes,
- 1:34:30the world, we'll plow down and say you wanger. Every man,
- 1:34:41we'll plan out down and say you waky. So that's
- 1:34:47r right now. Why would we wait? Keep love me,
- 1:35:00feel peace, plakes. Just wanna be with you, Just wanna be.
- 1:35:11Speaker 7: King of lovely feel peace, legs.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: Just wanna be with you, Just wanna be. Jesus, speaking
- 1:35:30about himself, said I am the Way, I am the Truth,
- 1:35:33and I am the Life. He says, no man comment
- 1:35:35to the Father except by me. What does it mean
- 1:35:39to be saved? Number one? It means to come declaring
- 1:35:42your inadiquacy, your inability to help yourself upon your strength.
- 1:35:47For the Bible says by the arm of flesh all
- 1:35:49Norman prevail. It also says that our righteous necess as
- 1:35:53filthy rags. But then the Bible also declares the love
- 1:35:56of the Father revealed in and through the soul constitutionary
- 1:36:01sacrifice of Jesus. Yes, what Jesus said while he was
- 1:36:04speaking with Necodimos, he said, for God's soul of the world,
- 1:36:08that he gave his one and only begotten son, that
- 1:36:12whosoever that blessing is for whosoever believe that on him
- 1:36:16should not perish, but have everlasting life. Verse seventeen says,
- 1:36:21for God did not send his son into the world
- 1:36:24to condemn the world, but that the world through him
- 1:36:27might be saved. You may be saying, Aposu, you don't
- 1:36:30know how I've lived my life. You don't know how
- 1:36:32things are in my life today. Listen to me. Jesus
- 1:36:36is able to give you a new beginning right where
- 1:36:38you are. Gentlemen, it does not matter what you have
- 1:36:42done or what you have not done. You can be
- 1:36:44like the prodigal son tonight as you get up and
- 1:36:47take that step. The Father is waiting. Jesus is waiting.
- 1:36:53There is no other name on the heaven the Bible
- 1:36:55declares given onto men by which we.
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: Must be saved.
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: There must be a renaissance of genuine salvation in the
- 1:37:05house of God. Senduine encounters with Jesus, the Son of
- 1:37:10the Living God, and encounter with an angel does not
- 1:37:13translate to salvation, And encounter with a preacher on his
- 1:37:17own does not translate to salvation except the preacher brings
- 1:37:21a message. Those of you who are in front here
- 1:37:24and together as a congregation, can everyone talk to the
- 1:37:27Lord in one minute? I desire you truly.
- 1:37:31Speaker 3: I needy you. I need every a I needy.
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: Come bless me now, my Savior.
- 1:37:43Speaker 6: I come to you.
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: I need to you need I need. Come bless me now,
- 1:37:57my Savior. My brothers and sisters who are kneeling before
- 1:38:08the Lord, listen to me. Let me have your attention
- 1:38:12for one minute.
- 1:38:12Speaker 2: My time is up.
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: It is the no blessed decision any man can make
- 1:38:18in this side of God's kingdom.
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: And for someone who is watching right now here at
- 1:38:23the four square.
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: Come. You're watching by way of television, you're watching by
- 1:38:27way of internet. This stance is no barrier. Here is
- 1:38:32your chance to make Jesus lord of your life, genuinely, truthfully,
- 1:38:38void of pretense, and void of falsehood. For the Bible
- 1:38:42declares that as many who will come to him, he
- 1:38:45will in no wise cast away. May I request for
- 1:38:48all of you who are kneeling in front. Thank you
- 1:38:51for your bold decision. I salute your courage. Jesus said,
- 1:38:55If you are ashamed of me before men, I will
- 1:38:56be ashamed of you before my father. May I please
- 1:38:59request that you lift your right hand high above your
- 1:39:02head as a sign of surrender, and then please say
- 1:39:05this after me as loud and as cleare as you can.
- 1:39:09Are you ready, say Lord Jesus. Some of you are crying.
- 1:39:13Do not be ashamed of your tears. You are before
- 1:39:15your maker. There is nothing to be ashamed about. He
- 1:39:18is your father, the one who died for you. Say
- 1:39:21it again, Lord Jesus. Tonight I have heard your word.
- 1:39:27I desire rest in my life. I believe that you
- 1:39:33are the son of God. I believe that you died
- 1:39:39for my sain. I believe that you rose again for
- 1:39:44my justification. Right now I receive Jesus into my heart
- 1:39:52as my savior, my lord, and my king. I declare
- 1:39:58that the power of Saint Satan, Hell and the Grave
- 1:40:06is broken over my life. From tonight and forever, I
- 1:40:11am a child of God. I go for whatever and
- 1:40:15back whatever. Amen. Keep those beautiful hands lifted, and let
- 1:40:20me pray for you Father in the name of Jesus,
- 1:40:22in the presence of your people, I stretch my hands
- 1:40:26over these precious ones. They have come, declaring your lordship
- 1:40:30over their lives. And by the authority of Scripture, I
- 1:40:33declare your sins forgiving. And in the name of Jesus,
- 1:40:36the Son of the Living God, I call you bona
- 1:40:39fide recipients of the life of God. By the authority
- 1:40:42of Scripture, I declare that the power of Sain, Satan, Hell,
- 1:40:45and the grave is broken over your life, and the
- 1:40:48grace to leave a victorious Christian life is imparted upon
- 1:40:53you this moment.
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: In Jesus' name, we pray.
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: All right place, all of your please stand, Please stand.
- 1:41:01Just a quick instruction. May I request all of you
- 1:41:04together please move to my right. There are a group
- 1:41:07of counselors who will be having a word with you.
- 1:41:10Let's honor them as they move. Just a moment and
- 1:41:12you'll be back to your seat. Give them a big
- 1:41:14God bless you. Give them a big God bless you. Hallelujah.
- 1:41:20Give them a big God bless you. Is that the
- 1:41:23best you can do. Let's encourage them as they go hallelujah.
- 1:41:34And then, on a final note, let me declare over
- 1:41:36your life. May your rest tonight be full of divine encounters.
- 1:41:43May the Lord send his angels to visit you and
- 1:41:46grant you secrets for your future.
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus.
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: For those of you who are seeking your body, you
- 1:41:53will wake up tomorrow and not find that infirmity again.
- 1:41:57In the name of Jesus Christ, I call you blessed,
- 1:42:00and I declare that you are blessed, and it remains
- 1:42:03so with you.
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: In the name of the Father, in the name of
- 1:42:07the Son, and in the name of the Holy Spirit.
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: Amen and Amen, God bless you.
