- 4:10on Discord,
- 4:12so,
- 4:13that is up. That appears to be healthy.
- 4:16Unknown: You're gonna have to explain to me and Brent too because he's about as as I am on all this stuff. What is this Discord thingy?
- 4:24Unknown: Well, Discord is it's kind of like a social media platform
- 4:28where it's it's it's a meeting place
- 4:32where people can
- 4:34send and receive messages,
- 4:37in encrypted fashion.
- 4:39You can communicate,
- 4:42both,
- 4:43with by voice and video.
- 4:46It's kinda like a Zoom, but it but it does more than that.
- 4:51It has additional audio channels.
- 4:53It has the ability to stream directly from it to,
- 4:57to, stream a live thing. It's like Zoom,
- 5:01but Okay. It's got more goodies.
- 5:04Unknown: Okay. So So it's like Avis for
- 5:07the Zoom world. Right? Yeah. Something like that. Okay. Yeah. Alright. Good morning. Morning, Brent. Morning,
- 5:13Hi, Roger. Everybody. How are you doing, man? You're loud and strong there.
- 5:17Oh, I am. Yeah. Good. I got a couple of things I wanna mention before we get started if that's alright. Boy, I wish I would have thought ahead of time I would have sent Paul
- 5:27this little clip I heard yesterday from John f Kennedy
- 5:31to start the show. Harrison started his show with me yesterday. It's pretty cool. He's talking to a group of people, and he's telling a story about Marx, Karl Marx.
- 5:41Uh-huh. And he said, well, when he was a young writer, he went to this newspaper. He's in The US and asked him for a raise because they were only paying him $5
- 5:50per submission,
- 5:51and they turned him down.
- 5:54And and so Kennedy got on. He said, if that capitalist
- 5:58newspaper,
- 6:00would have given him a raise, we probably wouldn't have communism.
- 6:05Uh-huh.
- 6:06So I thought that was pretty cute.
- 6:09Secondly,
- 6:10let's see. I, watched yesterday. I know you pay attention to Tucker, don't you, a little bit, Brent? Uh-huh. Have you seen the latest one that he posted yesterday with this doctor, British doctor, that, has done numerous trips to Gaza?
- 6:25Unknown: Have you seen that yet? I'd haven't. No. I saw it before, but I didn't. I didn't Well,
- 6:30Unknown: listen. It's excellent. Okay? Uh-huh. And if you really wanna know the tenor and volume of what's going on over there, listen to this guy. Of course, we already kinda know.
- 6:41But he was just so calm.
- 6:43I don't remember what his name was. He was very calm and talking about all these deaths and
- 6:48where
- 6:50and all the serious operations he had and the situations. It just break your heart. Okay? Mhmm. And so I would encourage everyone to go, and I wish I could remember his name as the latest, Tucker
- 7:02upload.
- 7:04A good one. Boy, I'll tell you what. These people are so heinous. They're just so heinous.
- 7:09Mhmm. And one story. I'll just give it to you. So the
- 7:13that stuck in my mind that IDF came and raided some hospital.
- 7:19Mhmm. Of course, he gets all these stories because he knows all those doctors down there. You know? Oh, mhmm. What is that? What is? No. No. Okay.
- 7:28Well, they IDF, a rageous hospital, the people that are taking care of the hospital, they let them go. They didn't kill them for some reason. And, they said on the way out, there's eight babies
- 7:39incubators in there, and they said, okay. Don't worry. We'll take care of them. When they got back in there weeks later, the babies were still in the incubators
- 7:47decaying.
- 7:49Mhmm. Okay. I mean, these people are just heinous.
- 7:52Unknown: Mhmm. Mhmm. So now what was your question a minute ago? No. I I was gonna say what what
- 7:59there has to be, it doesn't have to be, but probably is a reason
- 8:03that
- 8:05state of Israel
- 8:06uses to
- 8:08Unknown: excuse of some kind to justify what they're doing. They do? Yeah. And what is it? Same things they use on us that we're animals, and they're better than us. We don't have a soul. They are the only ones with a soul, don't you know? Yeah. Okay. And I'll tell you this story, Brandon. I can tell you this story for secondhand
- 8:26information. Early
- 8:28on in this shooting match, I had a very influential
- 8:33couple. The the wife was the one that tuned in. She's a gentile. He's a Jew.
- 8:38He's one of the most powerful Jews in Hollywood.
- 8:41K? Mhmm. I'm sure he's retired now. I wouldn't dare mention his name. He's a very nice guy. K. I met them personally. Spent a week with them. They came down looking for a place to retire in Argentina. So I got to spend a week with them, incredibly nice people.
- 8:56And, she told me that he told her this is where this came from. He was born in probably Skokie, Illinois up there. His father was a doctor. Mhmm. And, they sent him to Khalil School. That's the school at the synagogue.
- 9:09Mhmm. Six years old. He goes in there, and the rabbi's up there going, you're better than everybody else. You're better than everybody else. Mhmm. And it turned him and affected him so much at that age that he's been an atheist all his life. Turned around and walked out. K? Uh-huh. But that's what they teach him. You're better than everybody else. We're the only ones with souls, etcetera, etcetera. That's where they and, of course, if you're ever going to try and
- 9:33annihilate a a people, a genocide, you gotta demonize them first.
- 9:38I mean, they're still doing that today.
- 9:40Mhmm. So, anyway, that's
- 9:42and, of course, I've studied these people for many decades. K? Mhmm. So that doctor thing was I and I encourage all of you to watch it. It's a lot of it's sickening, but if you really wanna get the first rate, this is the kind of stuff.
- 9:55I don't know how many viewers Tucker's got. Mhmm. But he's got a bunch.
- 10:01Oh, no. It's huge. 50 plus million. Easy. Okay? Yeah. Are gonna see this, and they're gonna see the real story of what comes out of there and who these heinous bastards are. Mhmm. K? So good good on you, Tucker. Keep going. Go after them. I will help you. I'll I'll cover your flank. Tucker, I'll cover your flank. Okay?
- 10:21Unknown: There's two there's two two
- 10:24religions that are involved here,
- 10:27and they're both trying to destroy each other.
- 10:30And to say that war is anything but a religious struggle is
- 10:35silly beyond silly. Yes, that's right. And people and so what they're doing is or they had a religion, their religious point of view,
- 10:44right or wrong, it's a religious point of view and that's what drives them to kill other people and that's what drives Islam to kill other people.
- 10:57Their religion demands it as
- 10:59Van Till says,
- 11:02Culture is religion externalized
- 11:06and we deny it, we ignore it, we don't talk about it but that's what it is. And so you got two religions over there that worship demons that are trying to kill each other.
- 11:18Understand. I look at it first that I
- 11:21say I've got to analyze
- 11:23Unknown: this on that basis first. Go ahead. Yeah. Okay. Go ahead. I think that's a little misguided. Those are the people in gods aren't demons. They're women and children, and this doctor actually
- 11:35got one out, got a young girl out. He helps them teach medicine down there and stuff and
- 11:41brought her back to England, and she can't go back. And he's
- 11:45brought her into the family. You know? Anyway, they have other Palestinians stay up there. It's a total different story from this guy. These ain't Germans. They're very nice people.
- 11:54The fact
- 11:56Unknown: Don't go any further because it leaves a wrong impression.
- 12:00I didn't say they're demons, I said they follow doctrines of demons.
- 12:06They
- 12:07are men and women
- 12:09and according to our religion,
- 12:12our cultural religion and there are Christian folk here, but we live in a Christian culture,
- 12:19God, our lawgiver
- 12:21forbids us to murder women and children.
- 12:24Yes. Now they
- 12:26and so they
- 12:28go to the bible and they say the Amalekites,
- 12:31Unknown: these are Amalekites and God has commanded us to annihilate them, men, women, and children. Yes. But but before I could I'd like to talk about that, but you were on a a role. And you Well, I was, and I wanted to cover this, and we can dart back to this. I've got another subject that may be a little more pressing. I don't know if this is serious.
- 12:50You know, when I was in Argentina, one of the things that I experienced down there was the Argentine economy,
- 12:56and it's it's something to behold, okay, when they were on the Argentine peso of their own, and they could print it and do whatever they wanted to do with it.
- 13:05And the quality of the currency that fluctuates down there is pitiful.
- 13:10Right? Some of the bills that circulate is kinda ripped and hold and dirty and taped together and all this other stuff, and you go, somebody would actually circulate this? I mean, it's bad. Okay?
- 13:22And so when I really started getting the idea,
- 13:26part of the seeds that were planted to say, you might be you might think about ambling on.
- 13:33Yeah. And the first thing that they did,
- 13:36if I remember right,
- 13:38was they announced thousand dollar peso notes.
- 13:43And then a little while after that, they announced 10,000
- 13:46peso notes. Wow. Well, you don't have to be much of a tea leaf reader to realize what's coming. Mhmm. Mhmm. And the same thing in The United States. You might not have heard, probably haven't.
- 13:58Mhmm. But it's proposed, quote, unquote, proposed
- 14:02that we're gonna be issuing a new 250
- 14:05bill with mister Trump's picture on it.
- 14:08Mhmm. Mhmm. So they're saying, I just heard Doug McGregor. I was listening to his interview right before he went on the air.
- 14:15Inflation's gone up from 2.8 to 3.8, and it's expected in a few short months to be up to six.
- 14:21Mhmm. Mhmm. So y'all strap yourself in. K? I will tell you
- 14:26what happened with the American embassy in Germany
- 14:30back during the Weimar Republic in the twenties.
- 14:33Mhmm. And they sent out of course, when you're in a foreign country, they want you to register with the, embassy so they can get your messages like this. Mhmm.
- 14:43And, the embassy
- 14:45sent out a message to all the Americans that said,
- 14:48buy
- 14:49things.
- 14:50Mhmm.
- 14:51Buy things. That's all it said. Mhmm.
- 14:54Get ready, folks. It's coming.
- 14:57Unknown: Yeah. It's good to
- 14:58extricate oneself as much as possible
- 15:02to have a finger in the system
- 15:05so that you
- 15:07as the bible says by the way, what I said a while ago is what the bible says. That's not what I say. I'm talking about the Amalekites, but I wanted to circle back to that one time. It was the Amalekites or the Amalekites? Amalekites. Amalekites.
- 15:22Amalek, they were the descendants of Amalek. Okay. Amalek is the grandson
- 15:28Unknown: of Esau. Uh-huh. Well And you remember Esau. Go ahead. Yeah. Of course. So, you know, Paul English and I have both arrived at the same conclusion on this that these people are Nephilim. They're the remnants of the Nephilim.
- 15:40Mhmm. And, that they're we both think they're Amalek, that they're accusing everybody else of. Well, that Well,
- 15:47Unknown: there's good reason for that because by the time remember
- 15:51Jacob and Esau
- 15:53and they were in the womb together, unidentical
- 15:56male twins,
- 15:57And the
- 15:59mother was,
- 16:02of course, all upset because she felt like
- 16:05the boys were in her belly
- 16:07in her belly fighting.
- 16:10Unknown: Hold
- 16:11on just a second. We're fighting here on the air. Could somebody who ever got a mute up and moving stuff around or making a lot of noise and distracting from the program, please? Star six, it would be appropriate and appreciated.
- 16:23Unknown: Go ahead, Brent. Yeah. Yeah. And that
- 16:26was Isaac's boys
- 16:28and
- 16:30Rebecca, the mother,
- 16:32and the boys were fighting and God made it clear to her that the two nations were in her womb.
- 16:38And indeed that's what happened. Course Jacob,
- 16:42Yaakov,
- 16:44the word means clutcher
- 16:46and Esau
- 16:48fundamentally
- 16:50means clutched.
- 16:52Clutch that means grab. You can say grabber and grabbed
- 16:56because Esau
- 16:58emerged
- 16:59first, the firstborn
- 17:01and then
- 17:04Jacob
- 17:05emerged
- 17:06hanging on to his heel with his hand.
- 17:10And for the rest of Jacob's life he was a scratcher, a clutcher
- 17:14and a chiseler
- 17:16and he was constantly trying to scratch his way into what he wanted.
- 17:21And the fascinating thing about it is of course that
- 17:24God had chosen Jacob by sovereign
- 17:27election
- 17:29to carry the blessing and to give him what he wanted to give him. But of course Jacob
- 17:34like like a Christian folk now, they think they got to do it themselves.
- 17:39And so he was constantly miserable,
- 17:41constantly scratching, clutching, grabbing,
- 17:44trying to knock the other fell out of the way
- 17:47and that was unnecessary
- 17:49but God always gets what he wants out of his elect
- 17:53and of course the Bible says in the Old Testament,
- 17:57God said Jacob I have loved,
- 18:00Esau I have hated.
- 18:02Paul the Apostle repeats it in the New Testament.
- 18:06Unknown: Same thing and makes it important. Romans nine eleven.
- 18:10Unknown: Yeah, Romans all there. Yeah and
- 18:14Jacob and Esau of course got into an awful mess because then later, and this is another salient point in the flow of the narrative,
- 18:24I'd like to if I could Roger,
- 18:26take this all the way to Jesus Christ and the gospel record because by
- 18:30the time we get there,
- 18:36an Edomite,
- 18:37a descendant
- 18:39of Esau
- 18:40is sitting on the throne of Israel
- 18:42because he wanted to be a Jew so bad
- 18:45and his name was Herod.
- 18:48That's
- 18:49the culmination of the Edomite story
- 18:52and the Edomites,
- 18:54Edom, that's Esau.
- 18:56Esau
- 18:58is Edom and when Esau was born
- 19:01he was all red,
- 19:03not brown,
- 19:04red.
- 19:06I mean red like Adam because the word
- 19:09Edom,
- 19:10they got to call him Edom later and I'll explain that or what I understand from the Bible about it.
- 19:16They his name was called Edom which is the exact same word
- 19:21as Adam.
- 19:23Adam and Edom are the exact same word
- 19:27pronounced differently
- 19:29in our English tongue so we can draw the distinction between the two personalities.
- 19:35You see Edom,
- 19:36Esau originally his name was Esau, which also means red
- 19:40and he was born red and hairy.
- 19:43A lot of children born with hair on their backs. I've seen this.
- 19:46Unknown: And then the hair yeah. The hair falls off later. What's that? I I heard that, but to tell the difference after they were born,
- 19:55that they tied a red string around Edom's ankle. Have you is that biblical?
- 20:00Unknown: No. That was a that was another couple, another set of twins in the bible.
- 20:05Oh. And you can read about that in Genesis also. And, yeah, that really happened because the midwife,
- 20:10one of them stuck his hand out first and she said, that one's gonna that's the firstborn,
- 20:16you know, and then then the hand went back in. Yeah. That way she'd know who stuck the hand out first. But Oh.
- 20:23It's kinda odd, you know, and I don't not an expert on the subject, but I've delivered a few babies
- 20:29out of desperation.
- 20:31The midwife didn't get there on time because of weather and also
- 20:36other
- 20:37reasons why I was working in the
- 20:39mines, I was far away and where I started having children.
- 20:43But I can't imagine a baby coming out through the uterus,
- 20:48crowning, I usually crown about 10 centimeters with the head first
- 20:52unless they're breached,
- 20:54crowning,
- 20:56and then going back in sticking then a baby sticking his hand out and then going back in another one coming out. But now you and I'm easy to get off the subject. I need to get back on the EASL. But That's
- 21:08Unknown: interesting right there, but go ahead Esau,
- 21:12Unknown: he's the firstborn and his name and later on the boys were growing and Jacob, the
- 21:19grabber, the clutcher, the chiseler,
- 21:22the elect of God,
- 21:24that ought to give everybody hope, was a pantywaist.
- 21:28I don't know how else to say it in American English, he was a pantywaist.
- 21:32He hung around with his mother in the tent, he liked to learn how to cook and all that and Esau was a man's man and he liked to go hunting.
- 21:42He went out in the field, he hunted and Esau hung around with him, even a mama's boy.
- 21:48So
- 21:51their father who was
- 21:53Yitzhak,
- 21:54his name is onomatopoeia,
- 21:56that means it's a word,
- 21:58then his name imitates
- 22:01something in nature
- 22:03like the knock of the door, the buzz of the bee, the hiss of the snake,
- 22:08the scream of the hoot owl, you know stuff like that.
- 22:12Well his name, Yitzhak, was the way the Semitic
- 22:16people
- 22:17imitate, that's the Arabs and later the Israelites.
- 22:21There were no Israelites
- 22:23when
- 22:28Jacob and Esau's father were born, his name was Isaac,
- 22:32but they didn't say it that way, they said Yitzhak,
- 22:35Yitzhak,
- 22:36and that's the way they would imitate the sound of laughter.
- 22:40Yitzhak,
- 22:40Yitzhak like that. So his name was Laughter because his mother laughed.
- 22:45God said, you're going to have a baby at about a 100 years old and he mocked and laughed and so God said just to remind you,
- 22:53you're going to call that boy laughter, just to remind you that you mocked
- 22:58God,
- 22:59which shouldn't be done. Coming back,
- 23:03we're all sinners
- 23:04and the Bible's a record of that and
- 23:07Esau
- 23:09was his first name, he came out red like
- 23:12Adam.
- 23:15People
- 23:16say using Strong's Concordance that Adam means to blush in the face.
- 23:21It can mean that but that's not the fundamental meaning. The fundamental meaning is just red and the reason it was red is because God
- 23:31made our grandpa Adam out of red clay,
- 23:34not blue clay. We got a lot of blue clay around where I'm from.
- 23:38Down in Georgia, they got a lot of red clay because they are got
- 23:42Unknown: a lot of white clay too called kaolin.
- 23:45Well. Made a bunch of them farmers down there very wealthy.
- 23:49Kalin
- 23:50is the the the kinda white clay that they'll put in paint.
- 23:54Uh-huh. They use it a lot industrially
- 23:56in these farms. They had a streak of kalin going through Georgia.
- 24:00Mhmm. I don't know how many miles wide or deep, but, boy it made a bunch of them farmers down there rich. Can tell you that. Who it was it sang that song? I'll never forget the day
- 24:11that bright red Georgia clay started Oh yeah. Well they got that too.
- 24:16Unknown: Well they got that but where I'm from there's blue clay which is a shale clay but the red clay has iron in it. Iron,
- 24:24ferrous.
- 24:25Ferrous material they call it and
- 24:27it's significant biblically because
- 24:30the theme red
- 24:31and the red clay and Adam is red clay and then Edom and then we get to the in the book of Daniel
- 24:39to the feet
- 24:40of this
- 24:41of the idol of the 90 foot tall idol of
- 24:46Well that
- 24:48was the idol made of gold but then the idol in the prophecy
- 24:52had feet of clay and iron.
- 24:55Iron ferrous material
- 24:57is
- 24:58a heavier material. I like to tell people in geology there's only two kinds of rocks.
- 25:03Make it simple, there's just two kinds.
- 25:06They're dark colored rocks and light colored rocks.
- 25:10It's true and when I
- 25:12learned this from an old guy when I was
- 25:15out in the gold fields, said Brent, there's only two kinds of rocks and once you know the difference and you see all of geology that way, you'll be able to know where the gold is going to be
- 25:25or you'll be able to better predict it but dark rocks have more ferrous material in them, more iron and the light rocks have more SiO2,
- 25:34silica.
- 25:36They're like quartz, quartz is SiO2 and quartz come together sometimes
- 25:40but just notice the difference because if you see a lot of
- 25:44redness
- 25:46and red and dark color, more darker color rocks with quartz,
- 25:50you're in a mineralized area where there could be precious metals, copper, silver, gold,
- 25:56platinum, etc. Well
- 25:58coming back to Esau and Jacob, now I don't want to get off because we only got so much time.
- 26:04Then
- 26:06they grow up
- 26:08and
- 26:10remember Jacob is a kind of a pantywaist,
- 26:13he's with his mama all the time learning how to cook and he likes to stay in the tents, that's the way the bible puts it. He likes to stay in tents and his brother likes to go out and go hunting.
- 26:24Isaac, their father, is old by this time. The boys are grown, probably upwards 40 years old or something, I don't know but
- 26:33he's blind, he can't see much, his eyes are so weak and he says
- 26:38Esau, I want you to go out and bring in some of that venison
- 26:42that I like, that red,
- 26:45red
- 26:47stew.
- 26:50So he
- 26:51okay, dad. And he goes out and bags a deer, brings it back, guts it,
- 26:56skins it out and all that and dresses it. Manly things.
- 27:01Yeah. Things.
- 27:03Yeah. Gets ready to make that stew.
- 27:06Well, before that, he had brought
- 27:09he'd been out hunting. This is I'm backing up now. He'd been out hunting. I mean, Esau because that's what he liked to do. And his brother was in the tents with his mama
- 27:19cooking.
- 27:22He comes in from the field hunting and he said I'm about to starve, I'm so hungry, I can't see straight.
- 27:28He says to Jacob, give me some of that. Here's what the Hebrew text says, I just looked at it the other day. I mean it shouts.
- 27:36It's with the definite article twice.
- 27:38He says give me some of that
- 27:41Adam
- 27:43Adam
- 27:47is red
- 27:48and is
- 27:49a definite article.
- 27:51He was being very definite, he wanted that red soup.
- 27:55Not just red red but red
- 27:58soup,
- 27:59that's what he wanted and Jacob said well what are gonna give me for
- 28:03Jacob's a scratcher, he's a chiseler.
- 28:06He's always trying to get on top of people and get something more out of them than they get out of him. That's all he thinks about and when you read the story of his life it just
- 28:16shouts at you. The personalities
- 28:18of the bible are colorful for real, but he said, what are gonna give me? He said, give me your birthright.
- 28:24You're the firstborn,
- 28:26I'm the twin, I'm only five,
- 28:28ten, twenty minutes younger than you so just go ahead and give it to me and I'll give you this red soup.
- 28:33A big bowl of it. Porridge is the old word.
- 28:37He said I'm some blasted hungry, I don't care. I'll take the soup.
- 28:42Now people say that Jacob
- 28:45cheated him out of his birthright but I don't see it there.
- 28:49He made a swap.
- 28:51He wanted that soup and he wanted the birthright and he swapped.
- 28:54A Was
- 28:56lopsided deal? Without question it was a lopsided deal.
- 29:00As
- 29:01they say at common law,
- 29:03if you trade for a peppercorn and that's what you want, that's what you want.
- 29:08This whole thing about fair market value
- 29:11Yeah. Doesn't go as far as people say it ought to. It doesn't. Right?
- 29:14Unknown: I say both of those both those sides were voluntary.
- 29:19Unknown: That's the point. Yeah. That's the point.
- 29:22It he did
- 29:23It wasn't a fair trade. Here what Jacob did,
- 29:27Yaakov,
- 29:28I mean the panty ways, he took advantage of
- 29:32a man who felt a little bit desperate.
- 29:35He said I'm gonna collapse. I don't know if he was going to or not. For whatever reason
- 29:40he took advantage of his desperation and his lack of attention and not caring.
- 29:46That's what he did.
- 29:48Here's another fascinating
- 29:52point. Just because a man trades his birthright for a bowl of porridge,
- 29:59does the law allow that?
- 30:01See that's the other question.
- 30:03The law of Moses hadn't been delivered
- 30:06from Moses yet, but we do know
- 30:10that the law of Moses
- 30:12was already
- 30:13applied and Abraham,
- 30:18Esau and Jacob's grandfather
- 30:20had it because the bible says so.
- 30:23Maybe
- 30:24an expression of it to him, it doesn't say how or why, it just says that he followed God's statutes commandments.
- 30:32Let's come back to Esau and Jacob.
- 30:35He trades him, it was a swap.
- 30:38Now it is true and even at our common law and in the bible it's called disclaimer.
- 30:44You can disclaim your birthright,
- 30:46you can disclaim any inheritance, any bequeathment that somebody gives you, All you have to do is say I don't want it. It's called disclaimer.
- 30:53That would fit there. He disclaimed his inheritance as firstborn
- 30:58but what he didn't stop to consider and he should have, maybe, but
- 31:02this is all the sovereignty of God. Don't think
- 31:05that God didn't plan this out, he did and he uses the free will of men,
- 31:11the voluntary will of men to accomplish his overarching
- 31:14sovereign purpose so that never, he never
- 31:18allows to go awry.
- 31:20Now if you try to figure that out, you'll find yourself under the bed saying the Greek alphabet backwards.
- 31:27There's no figuring that out, it's just the fact of the matter and the whole bible hammers that home with full force at every point
- 31:35and you can't get away from it. By the time you get to Romans, as
- 31:41Roger was talking about when Paul was talking there,
- 31:44he hammers those points home and that's why he quotes, Jacob I have loved, Esau I have hated before the boys while they were in the womb, before they had any opportunity to do good or evil.
- 31:54God declared his choice and by the way
- 31:57Paul's
- 31:58point is there that he has declared his choice with you too.
- 32:03It isn't of us that our salvation, nothing in us,
- 32:06no merit, no goodness, nothing.
- 32:10God saw us, He made his choice
- 32:12and that's the end of it. It's
- 32:16not up to us, as Paul says,
- 32:19answer back or against God on that point. I don't understand it
- 32:24but I do know the fact of the matter because the evidence
- 32:29is clear in the bible. Well coming back to Jacob, I've loved you and of course the other question there is that I'm not going to talk about right now, what according to the bible, according to the usages of the bible,
- 32:42what is love
- 32:44and according to the usages of the bible, what is hate. Once a fellow knows that a little bit,
- 32:50it does relieve a lot of tension by the way. That is an important point, but I want to come back to get into the Amalekites.
- 32:57So Jacob,
- 33:00after he said the red
- 33:02porridge,
- 33:05he picked up the word Edom or Adam. His
- 33:11descendants
- 33:12were called Adamites
- 33:14but in the bible pronounced Edomites
- 33:16so that we can draw the distinction between the two men. Here's the point about that that seemed to shout at me as I trace it through the Old Testament.
- 33:26God saw to it in his sovereignty that the evil race
- 33:32were called Edom.
- 33:34We're called Edom
- 33:36to remind us, or called Adam really, to remind us
- 33:41that our ancestor Adam
- 33:44was depraved
- 33:46totally.
- 33:48There was nothing good in him and that's why there's nothing good in us as we are born in the flesh and we require
- 33:54a
- 33:56savior.
- 33:57If that weren't true,
- 33:58Jesus Christ wouldn't matter.
- 34:01God's
- 34:01sovereignty and producing the Messiah through Jacob by the way, not through Edom.
- 34:07Does that mean that Edomites are evil?
- 34:10No,
- 34:12there were races of them, the Amalekites. God said wipe them out.
- 34:17Remember again, what is race?
- 34:19Oh wait, people don't
- 34:21stop to consider because who's got time,
- 34:24But the Latin word race
- 34:27means root.
- 34:29Root.
- 34:30And in the old testament,
- 34:32the word root is used to depict race and race is in the root. In other words, who are your ancestors
- 34:40is of indispensable
- 34:43importance to God and the record and the birth of the Messiah.
- 34:47The Messiah
- 34:49came through a particular
- 34:51set of races and every time a man has a child, there's a new race according to the bible because every father is a new root. There is one race of man
- 35:02called Adam.
- 35:04One race but within Adam's race are several races.
- 35:08Every father
- 35:09produces a new one. That's the biblical point of view.
- 35:13And to see it that way then is to understand
- 35:16the genealogical
- 35:17records of which there are many and they're
- 35:20utterly precise by the way and detailed.
- 35:24But back to Edom
- 35:26and his brother.
- 35:28So now
- 35:30Edom has disclaimed his birthright.
- 35:32He is called Edom now, Adam, because
- 35:36he
- 35:37Esau means the same thing, but the words Adam is used to mean red
- 35:43and he is called red. You know, I'd be like a guy today. I grew I've grown up with boys we called red. Did you, Roger?
- 35:49Yes.
- 35:50I did too. And I have a
- 35:53nephew who who we call red because his hair is red and his beard is red and so we call him red.
- 36:01That's normal. And and in in the Latin culture of Rome,
- 36:05they called people that were redheaded rufus sometimes.
- 36:08It was a kind of a nickname, but then it got to be a regular name, rufus,
- 36:14Anglo Saxon red.
- 36:17Semitic tongues,
- 36:19Adam,
- 36:20and then Edom to speak of Edom. So you got the two twin boys, one of them chosen to deliver to be the father of the race of men that would produce the Messiah.
- 36:30And that's Jacob.
- 36:32Later when God had forgotten slapped him around good and hard and got him straightened out and got him off himself a little bit.
- 36:39And less selfish,
- 36:41he renamed him
- 36:42Israel
- 36:43which
- 36:44means
- 36:45a law giver wins.
- 36:48Law giver wins and believe me, the true law giver always wins. He always gets his
- 36:54law
- 36:55and the consequences there from
- 36:58no exceptions
- 37:00ever
- 37:01to that rule. And that's what Israel means.
- 37:04Lawgiver wins. Remember, he wrestled with him all night and
- 37:09got wrestled with God all night long, wrestled with the lawgiver.
- 37:13And the law giver wanted to get away from him and he reason he wrestled with him, he grabbed hold of him. He remember his name is Clutcher.
- 37:21So he he grabbed hold of Yahoa,
- 37:25the member of the Godhead and would let him go. He said, I won't let you go until
- 37:31until you bless me.
- 37:33Well, he already had the birthright,
- 37:36but he wasn't confident of it, you see. That was the problem. Now that's me making that telephone noise, by the way. Was it? Okay. Yeah. Yeah.
- 37:45So
- 37:46he he had it, but he didn't have the confidence of it just like Christian Pope. Now you're you're chosen of God.
- 37:54You're born from above. That's his doing, not yours,
- 37:58but you don't have the confidence of it. I'm my father's son.
- 38:02What did I want? And my father, I say this, I can't believe it's almost shocking to me that God has allowed me
- 38:09to watch my father be near a 100 years old. Yeah. That's that's his summer. Right? Oh, yeah. Yeah. And I'm an old man with a old father, but I look at my situation, my father now, I see things that I could not have seen
- 38:24as a younger man with my father.
- 38:26And the one of the things that I've seen among many is that I look him back and I've told him this, said all I ever wanted to be would like you and please you. That's all I ever wanted. Yep. Yep. And I didn't understand that when I was a boy.
- 38:39And I didn't have the confidence that he accepted me the way I wanted him to. Mhmm. That's normal. That's not abnormal.
- 38:45Unknown: I I'd say I'm still trying to please my father. Yeah. But He's been gone thirty, forty years.
- 38:50Unknown: Yeah. And you wanna and that's just that's normal. God wired us boys that way, but you're coming back to
- 38:58I'm coming back to the idea that with god the father who is our true father.
- 39:03And we
- 39:05we don't have the confidence as Christian folk, he's burdened us, but we still lack full confidence that he really has accepted
- 39:13us. How could he accept me? I've heard people say this to me all my life. How could he accept me after what I've done? You don't know, You
- 39:22don't know what I've done. There ain't no way. And I say, well no no, you're not getting it. God
- 39:27doesn't want you to believe what you wanna believe, he wants you to believe what he said.
- 39:31And the forensic truth is that he birthed you from above what you were before is dead,
- 39:37destroyed and gone.
- 39:39You were dead to start with. God didn't rescue you from drowning,
- 39:44He rescued you after you had been drowned.
- 39:47He went to the bottom of the ocean. He didn't throw you a life preserver. He went to the bottom of the ocean
- 39:53and brought you up.
- 39:55And that's the picture of baptism, drowning. That's what the word means.
- 39:59Baptizo.
- 40:00It means to be drowned.
- 40:02Fundamentally,
- 40:03that way from Homer.
- 40:06The oldest Greek text we have is Homer.
- 40:09And that's the way Homer used it to speak of ships,
- 40:12sunken battle never to be seen again. Intensive
- 40:17root of the of the word of the root. Well,
- 40:20coming back to Jacob and Esau. So here we are, these two boys
- 40:25and Edom, well, he stole the birthright. Of Jacob, he runs away. He runs
- 40:30away after he stole the birthright because Isaac is really upset about that.
- 40:35And, he ended up marrying his
- 40:38his uncle's
- 40:39daughter, and what a mess. He was scratching and clawing. His name is Clutcher.
- 40:44Always clutching, scratching, and clawing, trying to get on top of his father-in-law and make sure he got more than him and on and on it goes. Finally, his father-in-law would want to murder them murder him the way he was acting. He takes his two wives, and they're both sisters,
- 41:01and runs away.
- 41:02And then as he's running away with all he got rich off his father-in
- 41:06And it didn't didn't cheat him technically.
- 41:09You understand? All a matter of contract.
- 41:11But, he just always pulling the underhanded stuff, trying to take advantage
- 41:16of the other fellow's weakness.
- 41:19So he runs away, and he's out in the desert. He's got more flocks and herds in them after seven years of of lit living with his,
- 41:27father-in-law.
- 41:28And he he finds out he's got his boys out in front running
- 41:33interference,
- 41:33and he finds out his brother Esau is coming
- 41:36his way, and he's got 400 armed men with him. And he's a man that knows how to use arms.
- 41:42And he he decided that I'm gonna die.
- 41:46So he he divided his family into three groups.
- 41:50And the first group he put up front that was
- 41:53the one that was his concubine sons
- 41:57and on back to his favorite wife who of course was Rachel who gave birth to his youngest,
- 42:04Benjamin
- 42:05and,
- 42:07Joseph.
- 42:08But of course the Messiah wasn't coming through those lines, but he's always thinking ahead. Oh, yeah. Always thinking ahead,
- 42:16but always trying to skin the other fella and get the advantage.
- 42:20Never stopped. His mind never stopped scheming. That's Jacob.
- 42:24And he didn't have the confidence, see,
- 42:27that God had accepted him. Where do you get that confidence? You get it from the book.
- 42:32Faith comes by hearing what it says, reading it, and then hearing it. And you if you're if God the spirit of God will move you to believe what it says. And as your confidence grows, life becomes more enjoyable, by the way, Roger. We're, of course, we're we're just struck with this and the picture of it is with our own fathers.
- 42:51Of course, we should understand this a little bit. We want acceptance from our fathers
- 42:57and he's the disciplinarian
- 42:59and we're just never sure we have it. The truth is with our earthly fathers, we don't have it because they're too depraved like us, and we got that from them.
- 43:08But God is not depraved at all. He is the father of lights, not darkness
- 43:13From whom
- 43:14whom no every perfect gift comes from the father of lights.
- 43:19James tells us,
- 43:21with whom there is no variableness neither shadow cast
- 43:25by turning. No matter which way God turns, he casts a shadow nowhere because he emanates light.
- 43:32Light is not something that he stands in and throws a shadow.
- 43:37This is the this is the fact of the matter
- 43:40and he has chosen his people.
- 43:43He chose them from before the foundation of the world, before anybody ever thought of who we were. You can go read it in Romans there. Okay. So,
- 43:52he meets Esau.
- 43:54He sends gifts ahead to try to pacify him. So he's thinking ahead, scheming. How can I keep this man from killing me?
- 44:02And
- 44:03then when they saw each other, they had a it broke them down a little bit and they wept and cried on each other's shoulders and and then their father passed away and they together buried their father, but then Esau swore,
- 44:18I'm gonna kill him.
- 44:20After we get dad buried,
- 44:23I'm gonna kill you.
- 44:25So we've got this thing set up. So moving forward, of course, Joseph,
- 44:29he was father of the one of the 10, 12 tribes.
- 44:32He becomes prime minister of Egypt because they his brothers were envious of him, sold him into slavery.
- 44:38What a story this is. Yeah. It is. So they get these
- 44:43brothers all just rotten as dog dirt, man. I mean, that's that's mankind.
- 44:48Sell your own brother into slavery.
- 44:50What a killing. The multicolored
- 44:53coat comes into play. Yeah. That's that's the that's the yeah. That's the that's what happened there. His father gave him a coat of many colors, very famous in the bible. And and they were envious because the youngest youngest boy was his favorite.
- 45:08Go ahead. Somebody said Bob is wanting to,
- 45:11Unknown: hey, Bob.
- 45:13Unknown: Hey. It's Daniel in Alaska.
- 45:16Unknown: Oh, I thought it Bob. I'm sorry. Hey, Daniel.
- 45:20Unknown: Hey there.
- 45:22That's okay. I just wanted to say hi to Brent.
- 45:26Just wanted to say,
- 45:28you know, let me know whenever you have time for a call.
- 45:31Would love to talk to you some more.
- 45:33Unknown: Well, thanks and I got your messages and yes, I'll look forward to talking. By the way,
- 45:40well,
- 45:41without saying it all, I'll contact you. Yeah. Thanks for calling or thanks for chiming in and keep in touch. We got listeners all over.
- 45:50Yeah. And
- 45:51oh, boy. Don't we? Who knows. Right? I mean, we're just talking to the the air and people listening. Thank
- 45:59the glorifying
- 46:00the God I hope. But let's come back to
- 46:03so he the
- 46:05whole nation, the whole of Jacob,
- 46:08which is the whole nation is his 12 sons and their children.
- 46:11And there were 70 of them at that time including their wives.
- 46:15They all go down to Egypt to keep them starving and they're the Jacob's,
- 46:20that's Israel. He's called Israel now.
- 46:22Remember there are no Israelites
- 46:25until
- 46:26Jacob is an Assyrian.
- 46:28Abraham is an Assyrian, his son Isaac is an Assyrian,
- 46:32Jacob and Esau are Assyrians but they father races of men too you see. Every father has his own race as biblical.
- 46:40So
- 46:41they get down to Egypt, they're there four hundred years. Yeah. That's a very famous story. They're enslaved through income tax by the way. And if you want to read more about that, I've written tons about it in the winterized translation of the bible and you can go and and look at the appendices and the translation and I try to bring color to that reality of income tax and slavery.
- 47:04But then God takes them out of Egypt
- 47:07and as they're coming out of Egypt, Moses is the one chosen to
- 47:12to be the leader in that case. They come up to
- 47:16to
- 47:17where Edom's
- 47:19Edom, Esau, Edom's descendants
- 47:22were. Now Edom after eventually after that, after
- 47:26they got into the promised land, before they went down to Egypt, I left this part out. Edom settled South
- 47:34Of
- 47:34Jerusalem
- 47:35on the
- 47:37on the West of the Dead Sea
- 47:40in a high mountainous
- 47:42area called Seir,
- 47:44S E I R.
- 47:46And it was impregnable.
- 47:48A
- 47:49few men could defend it because the only way to get in there was through
- 47:55was through canyons.
- 47:57And they had them all manned, of course, we had men up there with crossbows.
- 48:01I don't care if you had an army of a million, they weren't gonna make it through.
- 48:06And that's where Edom had settled.
- 48:09And
- 48:11Edom,
- 48:12Jacob's twin brother
- 48:14had a grandson named Amalek and
- 48:18when the Israelites came out of Egypt at a bare minimum 3,000,000 strong, just you have to do the arithmetic.
- 48:25At a bare minimum 3,000,000 men women and children
- 48:28probably more like 6,000,000.
- 48:31They came up
- 48:33and they came to where Amalek was and asked permission.
- 48:37Moses sent word ahead asked permission to come through to stick to the king's highway by the way,
- 48:44which went right through there and he said we'll pay you for water but we'll just pass them through. We won't bother and we'll pay you for water.
- 48:51Now here's another key point about the Amalekites
- 48:55which are Edomites.
- 48:56Say they're descended from Edom.
- 48:59They're Amalekites.
- 49:01They became
- 49:02ultra wealthy
- 49:04producing
- 49:04nothing.
- 49:06They didn't farm. They lived up there. That's a big key right there.
- 49:10Yeah. And they they didn't farm. They didn't raise animals,
- 49:14but their geographic
- 49:16location was situated
- 49:18right on what was called the King's Highway.
- 49:21You know, was in Southern well, been California
- 49:23a lot, California and there's
- 49:26a place there called or there's a road that runs north to south that the Spanish put in called the King's Highway. It's called El Camino
- 49:34Real.
- 49:35Uh-huh. The the King's Highway which referred
- 49:38there to the king of Spain.
- 49:40And it's still there. So I think it yeah. 101 the 101 that runs up the coast is El
- 49:46Camino
- 49:47Real.
- 49:49And Real Real.
- 49:51I don't know how the Spaniards pronounce it. That's what I say. Real. Real.
- 49:55Yeah. Okay. Real is the it's a Latin rooted word. It's the same thing as
- 50:00the word realm, r e a l m. It has to do with sovereignty. Kings
- 50:06Uh-huh. Has to do with that.
- 50:07Big
- 50:08Unknown: Regal. There's that same word. What's that? The the big soccer team is Real Madrid.
- 50:14Yeah. Oh, that's weird. Leon Messi used to play. Well, that's World famous.
- 50:20Unknown: That that a highway like that was in the I don't I'm not sure where the name came. It was called the King's Highway.
- 50:27And in England, there were highways called the King's Highway because the high roads
- 50:31belong to the government. That's just that's the way it is in America. Although we don't have a king, that's still government property.
- 50:38Well, that's there was a a road like that and it went from Egypt which produced a whole lot of agricultural goods because of the delta. And it went up through
- 50:46the By Sierra where Edom lived and on up through and then it got to the top and they it's called the French called the Levant.
- 50:55And then it turned and went down into Mesopotamia
- 50:58which that means meso between
- 51:00Potomac,
- 51:01the rivers, between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, Mesopotamia
- 51:05and went on down toward Babylon and on down to where
- 51:09the the Gulf of
- 51:11where the Strait Of Hormuz is. That was all that area. It was very fertile and that highway was the main highway and all of the of the of the inhabited
- 51:21world. And Seir,
- 51:23Edom was right on that highway and they became ultra wealthy through the centuries producing nothing but charging people
- 51:30a tribute to come through there.
- 51:33Now that explains why
- 51:35Muhammad was nothing more than a desert bandit. That's all he was. He had no Same thing today over with Iran.
- 51:43Yeah. He had no he had no culture behind him for generations
- 51:47of ever producing
- 51:48anything,
- 51:49of ever conquering land.
- 51:51That wasn't that's not the culture. That's not the culture of the Edomites and that's not the culture of Judaism. They're the same.
- 51:58That land is is
- 52:01not part of their culture and the lowest
- 52:03the lowest rung
- 52:05on the ladder among creatures of the earth is to farm. That's the official doctrine
- 52:11of of of those cultures because they
- 52:14had have developed the idea
- 52:17Unknown: of making money without producing, without providing a meaningful service. Go ahead, Roger. Michael Bloomberg says, what's the big deal about farming? All you do is put a seed in the ground.
- 52:27Unknown: Yeah.
- 52:28And yeah. No. I know. I I remember when he said that and I can testify
- 52:33that it takes a lot of sophistication
- 52:36to make a living farming.
- 52:38Oh, you can throw seeds into the ground and you can do all the things but there's so many little things to make it profitable
- 52:44that you learn them and they're inherited through generations usually
- 52:48but that's the way it used to be done but now you can go to the internet and learn how to do it. It's kinda nice frankly.
- 52:54But coming back to
- 52:56Edom, they they became nothing but bandits and desert bandits to boot.
- 53:02The the culture that the bible sets forth is an agricultural
- 53:06productive culture,
- 53:08raising animals and
- 53:10farming land.
- 53:12And
- 53:13our common law tradition by the way is an agricultural culture.
- 53:17That's why we call it the law of the land. Right. And everything about it is about production
- 53:23and everything about it is about
- 53:26dominating land for the purposes of productivity.
- 53:29That's why we're wealthy.
- 53:31We have an agricultural system
- 53:33in America that's the common law agricultural system. The only other one in the world is the Babylonian system today called the Roman system. You know, we're talking about El Camino Real.
- 53:45When the Spaniards got
- 53:47what is now the Western United States,
- 53:50they colonized it using the Roman agricultural
- 53:53system because they're a law of the city,
- 53:57civil law code,
- 53:59canon civil law people.
- 54:01And with that, what does that mean? That means you enslave the inhabitants
- 54:05because agricultural
- 54:06and agricultural
- 54:07and Roman system is fundamentally slavery.
- 54:11And
- 54:12it's productive and that's what they understand. The plantation system of the South was the Roman agricultural system of slavery,
- 54:20and the Spaniards out west had the Roman agricultural
- 54:23system of slavery. Los Angeles founded in the year 1781
- 54:29was founded
- 54:30with on the purpose of enslaving
- 54:33the indigenous
- 54:35people there at the mission. It was called the mission system, but it was a system
- 54:39of slavery.
- 54:41Well, that's
- 54:42that's what
- 54:45Edomites were into.
- 54:47So they had to spell a name Amalek. Amalek, of course, the father Amalekites,
- 54:52but then later on,
- 54:54they were called the Edomians.
- 54:57Now this the the reason these words change so it's Esau,
- 55:00Edom,
- 55:01Edomians. The reason the words change, we've cited one reason,
- 55:05was a quirk of history to us because we weren't we don't know the future like god does. We have words like chance, luck, stuff like that, but those are just other words for human ignorance according to the logicians like Jebins.
- 55:20And that's true. We
- 55:22knew everything. If we were omniscient
- 55:25and even knew the laws of god, but the point is everything
- 55:28operates according to the laws of God. There's never any deviations
- 55:32and the consequences are always inevitable,
- 55:34always.
- 55:35That's why it's good to straighten up your act as much as you can.
- 55:38Well with with Edom,
- 55:41the Amalekites,
- 55:42they wouldn't let him in so God cursed the Amalekites
- 55:46and told the Israelites
- 55:48because they were vicious toward the Israelites.
- 55:51You can imagine why. We get to the book of Obadiah.
- 55:56I would recommend that book for good reading
- 55:59about the Amalekites because
- 56:02Unknown: somebody's talking Yeah. I was gonna say, is that your phone or is it somebody else, Brent?
- 56:07No. It's not mine. Okay. Let's see if we could get yeah. Heads up. Could everybody check your star six?
- 56:14Somebody's bleeding over.
- 56:16Unknown: The Amalekites. Yeah. Thank you. The Amalekites,
- 56:19were the Edomites, but then they were called the Edomians. And the reason is because other languages and other dialects creep in and change the the vowel sounds and maybe add a consonant or two.
- 56:31But Edom
- 56:33Edom Esau first.
- 56:34Edom that occurred after he wanted that red red porridge
- 56:39and then they came to be called the Edomians.
- 56:42Well out of that, they were just south there.
- 56:45There was a a king in Israel
- 56:49that and this happened during the four hundred years of what we call the four hundred years of silence between the old testament and the new testament.
- 56:57God did not speak. He was silent.
- 57:00And during that was the time of the Maccabees and all that. But during that time, the king of the Southern kingdom of a kingdom of Israel
- 57:07put out a law
- 57:09that said all the Edomians which were Edomites and seer,
- 57:13they had to
- 57:14convert to Judaism.
- 57:17That's what we call Talmudism today or he would slaughter them and drive them out.
- 57:22He said, well, a way to deal with these Amalekites who obviously God hated,
- 57:26he said,
- 57:27let's just convert them. How do we deal with the problem? Let's convert them to Judaism by the sword and he did.
- 57:34And so out of that arose a very ambitious family
- 57:39and there arose out of that family of Edomites,
- 57:41a very ambitious man who is now a boatery, a follower of Babylonian Judaism
- 57:48and that of course was the policy. You convert people all over the world to Judaism. That's why we don't know they have no claim to be Israelites today. They have no evidence. But the Edomites were were
- 58:00were Jews
- 58:01by that time. Yeah. And there was a very ambitious family out of arose and they knew that the way to get power, political power in the in Israel,
- 58:11you had to be friends in Rome. You had to somehow get Rome
- 58:15on your side and so he traveled to Rome,
- 58:18he got on the inside, he became a politician
- 58:21as a young man. He was in Rome and he secured,
- 58:25finally secured an appointment
- 58:28as governor of Judea
- 58:31and we call him today Herod.
- 58:34So he was an Edomite.
- 58:36The Edomites had mixed the Judaism. They were they followed Judaism, the Israelites followed Judaism and the Edomites were all part of the nation Israel because they've been converted to Judaism by the sword. Some of them saw the opportunity and they became a strong part of the Pharisee party
- 58:54and also the Sadducee party and also the
- 58:58Essene party. The Essene's aren't mentioned in the New Testament but we if you look read the New Testament close and begin to think about what you're reading, you see that Jesus Christ refers to the errors of all three of those. The Essene's
- 59:11were the ones that produced the Dead Sea Scrolls, you see. Oh, yeah. So you had these three groups.
- 59:18Well, the Edomites were there and he got
- 59:22appointed governor and a governor is a what? In in in English law, for example, in in India,
- 59:30the man who was appointed by the crown of England to rule India had the same powers as the crown of England. He didn't have to ask. He just did what he thought was best
- 59:40under as as
- 59:42an appointee of the crown,
- 59:45and he was called viceroy.
- 59:49Viceroy.
- 59:50Well, viceroy is the preposition
- 59:52in Latin that means in place of
- 59:55and Roy
- 59:56is the French word having to do with king and sovereignty like Real and Regal and Mhmm. I was talking about that a while ago. Viceroy, of course, the French tongue had crept into England so they call him Viceroy.
- 1:00:09And he he had full powers to do anything the king and that's the way the governors
- 1:00:14were in the Roman Empire. They had the full power.
- 1:00:18I mean, three branches of government, they held in their hand the full power of their God who was the emperor of Rome.
- 1:00:27That was Herod during the time of Jesus Christ.
- 1:00:30And he then he could do anything he wanted.
- 1:00:34Could enslave all the people or anybody there he wanted to enslave. That's the way the Roman system worked and he would do that and he could take on any title he wanted and so he said, I wanna be called king
- 1:00:45of the Jews.
- 1:00:47King of the Jews. And Herod,
- 1:00:51was called king of the Jews. He killed anybody. He was a vicious SOB because and he lived in such fear
- 1:00:58that people would kill him that
- 1:01:00he was in he went insane.
- 1:01:02That's the way money and power gets to people. Sure does. And he that's why he ordered all of the baby boys or in the vicinity of Bethlehem murdered.
- 1:01:13Remember the story and he was trying to make sure murder
- 1:01:16this fellow that they said would be born king of the Jews, Jesus Christ.
- 1:01:21He said that's that's challenging. He'd murdered two of his sons already.
- 1:01:27A couple of his brother in laws, I think he'd rounded them in a in a Greek pool or a bath, you know, where all the Sodomites go.
- 1:01:35And somebody
- 1:01:36said that it's safer to be a pig
- 1:01:39in the court of king Herod
- 1:01:42Because him being a Jew or following Judaism, that's what Yeah. We would. He
- 1:01:47wouldn't eat the pig, but he wouldn't kill the pig, but he'd kill his own sons, and he did.
- 1:01:52So here you got this man sitting on the throne throne throne of Israel. There's
- 1:01:57an Amalekite
- 1:01:58and
- 1:01:59as an Edomite.
- 1:02:02The Edomites had pervaded
- 1:02:05the nation Israel mixed up with them. They claimed to be purebreds,
- 1:02:09they weren't.
- 1:02:12And on and on the madness goes, but that's the story of the Amalekites,
- 1:02:15where they came from,
- 1:02:17and how they figured into the gospel records. And let's bring it one more step forward.
- 1:02:22That is why Benjamin
- 1:02:24Netanyahu
- 1:02:26justifies
- 1:02:27the murder
- 1:02:28of
- 1:02:30Arabs because
- 1:02:31he says there are Amalekites,
- 1:02:33let's kill them men, women, and children. That's what's going on. But don't forget
- 1:02:37that the Iranians
- 1:02:39who are Assyrians
- 1:02:43put about a million children when they were at war with Iraq.
- 1:02:48They put about a million children
- 1:02:50in front of their army to
- 1:02:53walk through mine and find the mines and as shields
- 1:02:57and murder them, they don't care either. Why? Because none of them.
- 1:03:02They all killing each other, slaughtering each other like hogs.
- 1:03:06Yeah. None of them none of them recognize
- 1:03:08the sovereignty
- 1:03:10of the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
- 1:03:13and his Messiah,
- 1:03:15the the the Godhead's Messiah,
- 1:03:17Jesus the Christ.
- 1:03:20And that will that will produce a culture
- 1:03:23that is murderous beyond imagination,
- 1:03:26and that's what you got. Yep.
- 1:03:29Unknown: And and I'd urge you again in case you missed first part of this program, if you try
- 1:03:33and take in the latest Tucker
- 1:03:36installment there. I think it was just posted yesterday.
- 1:03:39He's a British doctor who's been down there in Gaza numerous times on medical missions
- 1:03:45and in Israel also, and he just he's not emotional.
- 1:03:49He doesn't point fingers. He just tells you the stories of what he saw,
- 1:03:53what he experienced, and what he heard from close friends.
- 1:03:56And it will give you a view.
- 1:03:59And listen. This is Tucker Carlson. Now we're talking about that video will probably get,
- 1:04:06I'd say, way over a 100,000,000 views.
- 1:04:09Unknown: Well, Tucker's bottom line is
- 1:04:11that in Christian culture,
- 1:04:14and he identifies with that clearly,
- 1:04:16we do not murder women and children Correct. In warfare.
- 1:04:21And he is absolutely correct. There's a lot of there's a lot of rules and limits to warfare and the law of God,
- 1:04:26and that's the bible. The bible talks about it a lot. To put it in more maybe American
- 1:04:32perspective,
- 1:04:34one of our heroes has been Kit Carson.
- 1:04:37Yeah. And Kit, they called him Kit. Kit's the word for a baby beaver,
- 1:04:42and Kit was a little tiny fella. Okay. Yeah. You know, you have you have fox baby fox maybe.
- 1:04:49Well, that too, I think. That too. Oh, foxes or kits. That's right.
- 1:04:54But, Kit was a little tiny fella.
- 1:04:56He was humped over at the shoulder. He was
- 1:05:00freckled and redheaded.
- 1:05:02He didn't cut much of a figure, what I'm saying, but he was
- 1:05:07smart and tough as nails.
- 1:05:09And I don't mean to demean him in any way. He was quite a man.
- 1:05:13Quite a man. And very patriotic to his country and he received a commission. Couldn't read and write. By the way, congress removed his army commission once they found out he didn't know how to read and write, but he operated.
- 1:05:26How typical.
- 1:05:28Yeah. That's typical. And he did same thing to
- 1:05:31Unknown: Thomas Massage.
- 1:05:34Unknown: Nothing new. But Kit Carson
- 1:05:36Kit Carson had a dark
- 1:05:39they had a dark side of life. He did things he had not to do like all the rest of us and one of the things he did,
- 1:05:45he was ordered to
- 1:05:47when this during the war between the Northern and the Southern states and he
- 1:05:52he was a member of he was an officer of the Union Army.
- 1:05:56And he was given orders to annihilate
- 1:05:59as by the way the Confederates did in the Shenandoah Valley.
- 1:06:03And then they have Robert wrote with Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson,
- 1:06:08all those fellows, they they went on a rampage in the San Jacinto Valley
- 1:06:13Valley and did what the bible says clearly not to do.
- 1:06:17When you go to war says God,
- 1:06:20a lot of things that you do to stop the enemy, but one of them you don't do is you don't destroy agricultural
- 1:06:26production just to just
- 1:06:28to destroy agricultural production
- 1:06:31and burn the fruit trees down, things like that. No. Well, they the confederates did that. Knocked No. I'm sorry. The 100 plus year old olive tree. I got that. Bulldozer. Roger. I gotta correct myself. The confederates did not do that.
- 1:06:47I talk about so many things I get confused. No. They didn't do that. The union did that. Yeah. Now we're talking. I'm I'm I apologize.
- 1:06:56But Kit Carson did that to the tribes
- 1:07:00that had developed
- 1:07:02very productive agricultural
- 1:07:04system as fruit farmers in a valley there. I believe it was in New Mexico.
- 1:07:08And they had irrigation system there in the desert, agricultural system, and they produced a lot and Mhmm. Well, they were just well off. And he went in and destroyed all their fruit trees. Fruit trees take a long time to produce Yes. They do. Produce.
- 1:07:24Unknown: And Minimum minimum ten years.
- 1:07:27Unknown: Yeah. And if you if you go to war,
- 1:07:30god says, I want you to have those fruit trees. I don't want you to destroy them. They're your your spoils of war. Right. And God blesses our obedience to him.
- 1:07:40Even if they aren't spoils of war, whatever the case, don't destroy them. Don't murder women and children. Now the Israelites are saying Israelites know. The Israelis and there's a distinction between those two words
- 1:07:52as a matter of race and religion.
- 1:07:54But
- 1:07:55they're saying, these people are Amalekites.
- 1:07:58Well, my question then is number one, God gave orders
- 1:08:04to a distinct race of men
- 1:08:06to annihilate the Amalekites,
- 1:08:09men women and children. Did that happen? Yes. That happened.
- 1:08:12But once that was over, do you are you Israelites? Number one.
- 1:08:17Do you claim to be worshippers of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? You claim to do it but you aren't because you hate Jesus Christ.
- 1:08:27And to hate the Messiah of God that came through that line, that's what the story of the Old Testament is about. Among many other things to show the preservation of that line
- 1:08:38all through to the very end where Jesus Christ is born of that line.
- 1:08:43You don't you don't worship Jesus Christ, you don't worship the Godhead of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
- 1:08:50And what proof do you have that these are Amalekites?
- 1:08:53And the answer is none.
- 1:08:55We had a guy on here years ago, Roger, that call in from Indiana, and man, he'd get hot under the collar and he'd climb my frame. Remember how you used to climb my frame? Boy, that was a long time ago. He was he was hateful toward me because I wouldn't say that I was Israel and
- 1:09:13I my response to him was I am Israel.
- 1:09:16The bible says so.
- 1:09:18But beyond what the bible says, I have no reliable evidence of my ancestry outside of going back four generations to the old Mount Church down there when folk first came west into the Wabash Valley and my my great grandparents and great great grandparents were there.
- 1:09:37Outside of that, I don't know who my ancestors are. I'm like a lot of Americans. I can look at the tombstones and see, well, the names look like they're British, you know, and and maybe maybe something else.
- 1:09:50There's names there that go back to Scandinavian
- 1:09:54countries and things like that, but
- 1:09:57even those that come through Britain look like they just come through Britain.
- 1:10:01But beyond that
- 1:10:03are millions of ancestors
- 1:10:05and I don't know who they are.
- 1:10:07I can assume they probably were those people but you know, you
- 1:10:13that to have not have the evidence that God gives you to say, here's who I am a 100%.
- 1:10:19I can't say a 100% who I am. I do know,
- 1:10:23like 80% of all Americans who have been here since before the civil war or the war between the northern and southern tiers of the states. If you've got family that are here before that, there's an 80% chance that you've got Indian tribe blood in your veins. Yep. So
- 1:10:40are there any purebreds here? I'm doubtful. Nope. Not me. But, yeah but my yeah. Yeah. Me neither in that respect, but I I do know substantially what I am. But he was wanted me to claim I was a pure bread and and that's silly. Why don't you accept these doctrines?
- 1:10:58Unknown: Well. I said, well, point to the bible and show me how I can prove myself on that and I'll I'll go along with it. Alright. Go ahead, Roger. Sketch came on here one day. I was reading something historical and there was a sales in it through that was raising all kind of hell over there in England a couple hundred years ago, and I I thought I've gotta be connected with him.
- 1:11:18Okay? So,
- 1:11:19it's it's interesting.
- 1:11:21Brent, you wanna open up the phones and get some comments, or you got any other things you wanna expand on? Or sorry to go. Because this is very interesting, and I think it's very beneficial
- 1:11:31to a lot of people as more and more people boy, this is happening now. Wholesale rate
- 1:11:36are finding out who these people are and how they operate
- 1:11:40and things like Tucker Carlson's
- 1:11:43deal with this doctor.
- 1:11:44I mean, I it'd be interesting to see. Maybe we can check it later. I'll be shocked if it gets less than a 100,000,000 views.
- 1:11:51Unknown: Yes. And we and we need to remember in all of this discussion
- 1:11:56that what's happening right now
- 1:11:58is because of religious conviction
- 1:12:00because of either a proper or an improper understanding
- 1:12:04Yeah. About what the bible says. Don't kid yourself. It's always that way. This guy's so British,
- 1:12:10Unknown: and you'll appreciate it. Uh-huh.
- 1:12:13Because I know how much you like you and I both like that culture and love Paul English and all that. And he's sitting here talking about these
- 1:12:21heinous
- 1:12:23incidents,
- 1:12:24and and the only thing he says is appalling.
- 1:12:28Unknown: Yeah. That's that's British, I'm pretty sure. Appalling. By
- 1:12:32the way, appalling Hey, Roger. Appalling to be appalled means to turn white.
- 1:12:37Oh, oh. It means for all the blood to go out of your face. Okay. That was To be appalled. My fault.
- 1:12:44Unknown: Was that Bob? Who's something we got yelling about fault? We got Bob, I think. Was that you, Bob? Say it.
- 1:12:51Unknown: It's Larry.
- 1:12:52Unknown: Yeah. I was just gonna say the old gentleman that was so contagious from Indiana was Gus. You remember Gus Gus?
- 1:13:00Unknown: Yeah. Gus. That's who it was, wasn't it? Oh, I think that was like that guy calling in. It was so bludger.
- 1:13:08Unknown: They would argue. Was appalling doesn't mean it was my fault.
- 1:13:12Unknown: Uh-huh. Just saying.
- 1:13:14Unknown: Yeah.
- 1:13:15You're white, aren't you? Good. Good.
- 1:13:20Unknown: Okay. I think Larry was in there too. Good to hear you. Bob, did you have a question or a comment or just on appalling?
- 1:13:30Yeah. Don't guess Bob's gonna answer me. Okay. I heard from Bob in a couple of days. Good to hear you. Larry, you were there?
- 1:13:38Unknown: Yeah.
- 1:13:39So
- 1:13:41you're Brent, you were talking about
- 1:13:44Jacob and Esau.
- 1:13:46And at first,
- 1:13:47Roger said it was nine eleven, but it's actually nine thirteen. Romans nine thirteen.
- 1:13:53Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
- 1:13:57There seems to be a controversy out there. A lot of people think
- 1:14:00that that word hate,
- 1:14:02it it actually means to, you know, have active malice against
- 1:14:07and the underlying
- 1:14:09Greek word is is missio,
- 1:14:11I believe.
- 1:14:13And it it can mean to have active malice or to despise.
- 1:14:18But I was wondering if you agree with this principle.
- 1:14:22Whenever the bible uses
- 1:14:25the word hate like in these contexts,
- 1:14:30it basically means loved less or preferred less. So in ancient Hebrew and coined Greek,
- 1:14:36hate was often used comparatively
- 1:14:39to show preference.
- 1:14:41If you loved one thing and did not choose it over another, it was culturally
- 1:14:46described as hate.
- 1:14:47For an example of this
- 1:14:49same word
- 1:14:51translated
- 1:14:52as prefer, you could look at Luke fourteen twenty six
- 1:14:56where Jesus says a disciple must hate
- 1:14:59their family compared to their devotion
- 1:15:02to God.
- 1:15:04So do you agree with that?
- 1:15:07Unknown: A little
- 1:15:09because I don't know everything about what you mean by what you say, but I I like to put it this way.
- 1:15:16Love
- 1:15:17in the bible,
- 1:15:19the word love
- 1:15:21is more powerful than anybody that I've ever listened to try to describe it could put it.
- 1:15:27I I translate it. I I use a hyphenated word to translate. Agape.
- 1:15:33There's three kind of love in the Greek tongue
- 1:15:35and to understand love as and to compare as you've done, that's that's the way to do it. That helps.
- 1:15:41To understand love in the Greek there are three kind of love in the Greek tongue. Two of them, some people say three, has
- 1:15:49to do with
- 1:15:50with, affection of,
- 1:15:53females
- 1:15:54for their young,
- 1:15:56animals or people.
- 1:15:58It's it's undeniable,
- 1:16:00and it's unstoppable, frankly.
- 1:16:02They'll kill,
- 1:16:05out of that that natural affection. But the love that god talks about that is divine love is agape.
- 1:16:12There's eros.
- 1:16:13Eros is not in the New Testament, but it's in the Greek tongue, and eros means
- 1:16:19sexually
- 1:16:20passionate love, you know, erotic.
- 1:16:22That that's not what God's talking about, not even in the New Testament.
- 1:16:27Then there's Pileo,
- 1:16:29the the city of Philadelphia
- 1:16:32is uses that word, Adelfas'
- 1:16:34brother, and Philos means
- 1:16:38a dear friend.
- 1:16:39Dear friend.
- 1:16:41I've got a lot of friends.
- 1:16:43Those kind of people you shake their hand heartily and you grab with your left hand, you grab their elbow and you shake their hand. Goes kinda folk. Yeah. Yeah. That's over Yeah. Over. Yeah. Folk, you just you I mean, I feel that way with people on the show sometimes. We're all I feel like we have that kind of connection.
- 1:17:02And but then there's that love that goes beyond.
- 1:17:06It has nothing to do with affection.
- 1:17:08It has nothing to do with how you feel about another fellow.
- 1:17:11Has everything to do about whether or not you do the law of god toward him no matter what. No matter what it costs you.
- 1:17:18The love of god, that's
- 1:17:21the verb form, the
- 1:17:24noun form,
- 1:17:25is the love that
- 1:17:28you're driven. Why? Because of the law of god.
- 1:17:33You're driven to do what God says
- 1:17:36even if it destroys you. This but to make an analogy,
- 1:17:41the difference that are in our common law between a fiduciary relationship
- 1:17:45and an arm's length relationship.
- 1:17:48A fiduciary relationship
- 1:17:50which is the trust.
- 1:17:52A trustee
- 1:17:53is in a fiduciary relationship.
- 1:17:55That means
- 1:17:56that he has to act. The law demands
- 1:18:00that he act in the best interest of the beneficiaries
- 1:18:03regardless of what it does to him.
- 1:18:06That's what regardless of what it cost him.
- 1:18:10The bible says for example that,
- 1:18:13when you get married, a man is entrusted with a woman.
- 1:18:17And the bible says that
- 1:18:20he is required to give his life
- 1:18:23for his wife if need be.
- 1:18:25Take a bullet for her if he has to
- 1:18:28and God will put that in a Christian man. It's not something you have naturally. It's not something you get any credit for.
- 1:18:34If it happens, it happens.
- 1:18:36But that's the kind of love Agapeya. Jesus Christ,
- 1:18:40as it says in the old testament and I believe Isaiah says that the Messiah of God, God himself
- 1:18:47swore
- 1:18:49to keep his promise, his trust settlement
- 1:18:52even, here's the key phrase, even to his own
- 1:18:56hurt.
- 1:18:57Now Jesus Christ promised to save his people. What did it cost him?
- 1:19:02It cost him
- 1:19:04torture beyond imagination,
- 1:19:07physical torture
- 1:19:08and brutal murder
- 1:19:10which was torturous as well called crucifixion.
- 1:19:14That's murder by torture.
- 1:19:16That's what that is. And torture before that, he was beaten to a pulp,
- 1:19:21unrecognizable
- 1:19:22as human as he was reduced to human debrief,
- 1:19:26the Frenchman would say.
- 1:19:29Well, that's to his own hurt, but he kept his promise.
- 1:19:32He kept it.
- 1:19:33And the one thing that God will do and no matter what are what are his promises,
- 1:19:39His promises are
- 1:19:42his law.
- 1:19:43Every law, every expression of his will
- 1:19:47is a promise of what will happen as a consequence of obedience or not obedience to it. God is
- 1:19:54he's all about promises.
- 1:19:56What is a promise? The English word is an undertaking.
- 1:20:00The Latin word the other Latin word is a commitment.
- 1:20:04Once an expression in acts
- 1:20:07or words and deeds or words that you are going to do something
- 1:20:12or God, now God has done that
- 1:20:14and he's going to do something and he did it and everything and the promises, the precious promises of Peter the apostle puts it. These are species of contractual relationships.
- 1:20:26That
- 1:20:27is why that is why when the founders of America got here, we call them Puritans.
- 1:20:34When they when
- 1:20:35they went
- 1:20:37to have established
- 1:20:39a college
- 1:20:40and it happened at the behest of a preacher named John Harvard
- 1:20:45who donated his library,
- 1:20:47massive library to start the college,
- 1:20:50the key
- 1:20:52overarching
- 1:20:54controlling
- 1:20:55principle of Christianity
- 1:20:57that
- 1:20:58they
- 1:20:59stressed
- 1:21:00was the law of promises
- 1:21:03And by the time Harvard Law School was founded, the center of that law school was contract class.
- 1:21:10And even you even see that today. There was a movie back in the late early seventies
- 1:21:15called Paper Chase. Do you remember that, Roger? Sure do. There's a TV show too, think. Yeah. Paper Chase, the movie was about
- 1:21:23a couple of young fellows that went to Harvard Law School
- 1:21:27and it was all about contracts class
- 1:21:30and it was all about the professor of contracts class
- 1:21:33and what happened there. Well, that didn't say anything about Christianity but the reason all that and the reason we live we live in a Christian culture. The reason we do everything we do is because of our Christian culture. Everything that's worthwhile,
- 1:21:48but we lose the connection. The reason that they stressed contracts at Harvard and they they always have. They don't now. It's finally all going away. It's because contracts
- 1:21:58how can you understand
- 1:22:00the depth
- 1:22:01of the wisdom of Christianity
- 1:22:04without understanding the as Peter, the old fisherman, he was the rough fisherman. He recognized it. The precious promises of God.
- 1:22:12Everything that God says is an undertaking
- 1:22:17and the controlling undertaking of course is the promise of to send
- 1:22:21God in human flesh among us to live among us, to redeem us from hell on our own selves and then to come again and rule with us.
- 1:22:32We rule with him by the way, the sovereign of the universe.
- 1:22:36That's what the book says. We are the elect.
- 1:22:39Make of that what you want. We are the elect.
- 1:22:42But what for the God you no Christianity would be here. He's the first mover and the last mover. He is the alpha and the omega says the book of Revelation.
- 1:22:54So the word love being what it is, the commitment of God,
- 1:22:59love loves those things that are not lovable.
- 1:23:03Love loves the fellow that is important,
- 1:23:06that stinks.
- 1:23:07Yeah. That nobody wants to be around but what did what does love? Love is doing toward him what the law of God says. No. That doesn't mean you go and be always compassionate
- 1:23:19and it may mean that you stay away from him. It depends upon what the law of God says given the circumstances
- 1:23:26and if you don't know the law of God, something about it, you can't love anybody
- 1:23:31and you won't.
- 1:23:33And this is the fundamental. So John says in first John,
- 1:23:38this is the love of God, agape,
- 1:23:42that we keep his commandments.
- 1:23:44What's he doing when he said that? He's defining love as keeping the commandments, the law of God. We just repeat in the principle Jesus Christ said it this way. He said to to his followers,
- 1:23:56if you love me as you say you do,
- 1:23:59why don't you do what I tell you to do?
- 1:24:02Go read it. That's exactly what it says. Love is doing what God says
- 1:24:07toward the other fellow and it may not look too lovable by the way. It just depends. I used to say to people, you know, if a guy's in war and it's a just war according to the bible
- 1:24:19and the other man is trying to kill him,
- 1:24:21I remember reading a book about the rescue of the prisoners that came out of Bataan. They were imprisoned during the entire war. The Bataan death march.
- 1:24:30Yeah. The Americans finally figured out that when they got close to them, they got word from some Filipinos who said, look.
- 1:24:38These Japs are gonna murder just before we get them. Now they're gonna leave them alive. What's left of them? Are almost 500 left.
- 1:24:46And they
- 1:24:49devised a plan as they move forward. The American lines were moving forward to get them out of there before they got there and try to rescue them, and they did.
- 1:24:56They did.
- 1:24:58But when you read those kind of stories
- 1:25:00and you realize, of course, the Japs were
- 1:25:03trying to kill the Americans,
- 1:25:05they're murderous bunch. Why? They are.
- 1:25:08Their well, their religion
- 1:25:10was pagan. It was Babylonian. They called it Shintoism.
- 1:25:13People Hinduism,
- 1:25:14Shintoism,
- 1:25:15Mormonism,
- 1:25:16Islam,
- 1:25:17Judaism,
- 1:25:19Christian Science, Jehovah Witness.
- 1:25:21It's all just isms and schisms and that it all results
- 1:25:26in hellacious behavior
- 1:25:28because different law giver, different god, different religion, different god, different god, different law giver, different law giver, different law.
- 1:25:35And there's only two choices.
- 1:25:37Either either
- 1:25:38the law of god fundamentally says dominate my land and care for it according to my law.
- 1:25:45And the the Babylonian law says dominate the other fella, you can get money out of him. That's the way you live. That's the law of the city. That's Edom.
- 1:25:53Edom was all about, well, just wanna dominate men. That's why their Muhammad was a desert bandit.
- 1:25:59He didn't produce anything, he stole things.
- 1:26:02And the
- 1:26:03Ishmaelites,
- 1:26:05when Jacob was sold in
- 1:26:08when Joseph was his brother sold him into slavery in Egypt,
- 1:26:12they noticed a band of traders called Ishmaelites.
- 1:26:17What were Ishmaelites? They were traders.
- 1:26:19They made money off other people
- 1:26:22selling things that were had no value.
- 1:26:25No value.
- 1:26:27That's what that's what false religion does today. It wants to sell things and get money, sell things that has no value. Pornography,
- 1:26:36opiates,
- 1:26:38diamonds.
- 1:26:39Diamonds have industrial value, but they sell them in a form that does not have value.
- 1:26:44Unknown: Or gold. Gold has industrial value. What's that, Roger? Go ahead. No. Was just gonna say I was flashing on the fact that there's, they say they're just vaults and vaults and vaults of diamonds in Russia.
- 1:26:55Unknown: Yeah. And they have a a value that our common law calls it a leotory contracts.
- 1:27:01Contracts to buy things that just take your money and don't give you anything in return but a good feeling.
- 1:27:07Movies, pornography,
- 1:27:09stuff like that. Diamonds,
- 1:27:11you know, make you feel it's a feeling you're looking for. You're not looking for
- 1:27:15Unknown: They they always wanna control emotions, and they create illusions out of controlling emotions
- 1:27:21and equivocation of words. It's a it's a whole little deal. It's like I said, why do you think the most famous
- 1:27:27magicians in history were all Jews?
- 1:27:30Well, that's yeah. It's a culture of of of culture of lies. So coming back with of of illusion, I like to think of it as. As illusion. It's just a simple illusion.
- 1:27:40Unknown: We call them and the law calls them illusion
- 1:27:44illusionary contracts.
- 1:27:45Well, coming back to the question, I'm I needed to come back to hate. I'm sorry. Once you no. You did. You
- 1:27:51didn't do this, Roger. I'm just trying to come back. You're you're bringing up good points. But coming back to
- 1:27:58love, once you see the magnitude,
- 1:28:01the the depths of the riches going down and the magnitude going up of what God's love is,
- 1:28:09well you see it so big you can't grasp it, then compare that everything else. Everything else, Larry,
- 1:28:16is hate.
- 1:28:18That's the point. So when you say there is a comparison, yeah, I agree with that and that I think that when we look at those two words,
- 1:28:25one fellow said this for example,
- 1:28:30Jacob I have loved, Esau I have hated reveals
- 1:28:34covenantal preference.
- 1:28:35In other words, for purposes of the covenant,
- 1:28:39he chose Jacob.
- 1:28:41But understand too, if you're not part of the covenant, what's the covenant? That's the trust settlement.
- 1:28:46Covenants are Latin catch all word for contracts but
- 1:28:50the law of promises and a trust settlement is a species of the law of promises,
- 1:28:55but remember those that are not within that trust settlement
- 1:28:59are going are going are the objects
- 1:29:02of God's
- 1:29:03unlimited
- 1:29:05righteous
- 1:29:07terminal
- 1:29:08forever
- 1:29:09vengeance.
- 1:29:11So there that that element is there. Don't kid yourself.
- 1:29:14So you say comparatively,
- 1:29:16yeah, it looks that way,
- 1:29:18but understand God hates.
- 1:29:20He makes some vessels that Paul the apostle says, some persons
- 1:29:24for the purposes of total annihilation.
- 1:29:28Who are they? That's not mine to know.
- 1:29:31It's mine to get the word out
- 1:29:34to get the gospel out. What's the gospel?
- 1:29:36It's that God
- 1:29:39rescues,
- 1:29:41enlivens men out of hell
- 1:29:43and gives them a life of decency they can enjoy through his law,
- 1:29:48Following his will.
- 1:29:51Following his will. The laws of nature and the laws of nature's God.
- 1:29:56So yeah, there's a difference but I don't want to say that hate is just a matter of comparison because the objects, if you're not the object of God's agape, you are the object of his
- 1:30:07hate
- 1:30:09and his hate
- 1:30:11is terminal.
- 1:30:12That's true and to deny that is to try to gloss over
- 1:30:18the fact of the matter because we don't understand or where our guts just don't want to accept it.
- 1:30:23And that is why what Larry,
- 1:30:26why we have Zionism
- 1:30:28and dispensationalism
- 1:30:31versus what the founders of America had, they called it covenantal theology.
- 1:30:35The Presbyterians
- 1:30:37were called the covenanters.
- 1:30:39What does that mean? That means they understood the trust settlement of God. They made it the forefront
- 1:30:44of who they are
- 1:30:46and we are the recipients of that and we're riding on the coattails of that without understanding the connection and that won't work forever.
- 1:30:56So it's getting back to that connection, that back to that understanding,
- 1:31:00hoping for a critical mass of Americans
- 1:31:03that understand the hard truths that they that that that understand that the fact of the matter if it's not accepted whether or not you understand it.
- 1:31:13God will destroy
- 1:31:15those that do not accept
- 1:31:16the evidence
- 1:31:18and the evidence is overwhelming.
- 1:31:20What is the evidence? The foremost evident, all evidence is oral.
- 1:31:24On all evidence there if it's recorded, it's the oral evidence recorded
- 1:31:30and God has given us his oral evidence recorded and there's nothing more reliable in writing.
- 1:31:37No record that is more reliable has proven more reliable
- 1:31:42than the record of these
- 1:31:43these documents we call the bible.
- 1:31:47Somebody else,
- 1:31:49Unknown: Roger, was trying to I believe nobody's ever disproved anything. People have gone over there, lived in that part of the world skeptical to try and make it their life's work to disprove the bible. I don't believe anyone's ever succeeded, have they, Brent?
- 1:32:02Unknown: No. I
- 1:32:04and I say if I can find something in the bible as an assertion of fact that is false,
- 1:32:11well, having pried that brick out of the wall of the bible, you the whole wall will come down. That has never been done to my knowledge and I've been looking for almost fifty
- 1:32:21years.
- 1:32:22Unknown: Saw a video the other day of a guy over in Sodom and Gomorrah going through, and it's just rubble, you know, the piles and stuff. Mhmm. Or, like, mounds of
- 1:32:33rubble or just turn to dirt. Anyway, he could take and just take a piece of dirt out of there or something and light it and it burn.
- 1:32:41Unknown: Yeah. Sulfur
- 1:32:43and magnesium
- 1:32:44and fire from heaven and it says came down. Now Yeah.
- 1:32:48That that evidence,
- 1:32:50that is evidence, but that's not the best evidence.
- 1:32:53As our common law would say, the best evidence is the written record. Yes.
- 1:32:57Unknown: But that's way you you get people's attention with that kind of stuff and then direct them to the written record. Mhmm. Mhmm.
- 1:33:06Larry's trying to say something. I also wanted to say about the crossing of the Red Sea.
- 1:33:12And there's all video on. They have found all that stuff at the bottom of the Red Sea. On a mound where the on each side, it's deep,
- 1:33:21and there was some sort of a
- 1:33:24toward in that area, a bridge, a a dirt bridge or something where it wasn't as deep,
- 1:33:30and the things they found there just all indicate a crossing and the exactly like the biblical description. It's incredible.
- 1:33:37Also, since I've just saw one more of,
- 1:33:41Edward Zawar, the guy who used to be on Real News with, Rick Wiles.
- 1:33:46Mhmm. Him and his
- 1:33:49team, well, they've gone over and found where the where the ark is on Mount Arrak. Mhmm. Mhmm. And all that stuff, there's I mean, it's incredible. It's all there. Larry, I'll shut up. Larry?
- 1:34:03Unknown: Yeah. So the the
- 1:34:06the verse I was referring to is found in Luke fourteen twenty six where Jesus says, if any man come to me and hate,
- 1:34:14there's Greek word, missio. That's the same Greek word used
- 1:34:19where it says, Jacob have I loved and Esau have I hated. So if any man come unto me and hate not his father and mother,
- 1:34:27he cannot be my disciple.
- 1:34:30So I'm taking that to mean that
- 1:34:33we need to have a greater preference for the things of God
- 1:34:37over the things of men because surely
- 1:34:40Jesus does not mean we should literally despise our parents,
- 1:34:44but that our our love and devotion toward him should be greater. So do you agree with that?
- 1:34:50Unknown: Oh, substantially because clearly the law of God says honor thy father and mother. Yeah. And it says a lot more about that. So the law of God
- 1:34:59figures in and there's not it's not that you water that down and water this down then put them together.
- 1:35:05Both are absolutely
- 1:35:06true. Everything the bible says is 100%
- 1:35:09true.
- 1:35:10It's the false hermeneutic that and this is what people do by
- 1:35:14nature.
- 1:35:15They say, well the bible says this here but over here it says this so let's water the two down and put them together and we'll believe it that way. No. No. No. Both of them, if there are clear assertions,
- 1:35:26they're absolutely true.
- 1:35:28Well, let's read that verse again.
- 1:35:31If any man I'll lead to King Jimmy's version. He'll see what his boys say. If any man come to me and hate not his father and mother and wife and children and brethren and sisters, yea and his own life also even himself,
- 1:35:46he cannot be my disciple.
- 1:35:48What's he saying?
- 1:35:50He's saying that the first commandment is to be followed.
- 1:35:54The love of God is to follow the commandments.
- 1:35:57Thou shall have no other gods before me.
- 1:36:00Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul,
- 1:36:05with all thy mind. That's repeated in the bible
- 1:36:09and and and that's that's the first five commandments.
- 1:36:12By the way, the fifth commandment is included in the first five to summon up love the Lord thy God. Love, what do do? Well you do what he says there in those first five commandments and then love thy neighbor as thyself. Well what does that mean? That means you do what the second five commandments say.
- 1:36:28Now
- 1:36:29the question then is how do you interpret this when you find verses
- 1:36:33as you pointed out?
- 1:36:35Obviously,
- 1:36:37do you hate yourself? Will you how much do you hate yourself? It says there also you gotta
- 1:36:43gotta love Jesus Christ
- 1:36:48and
- 1:36:49not your own self.
- 1:36:51In other words, all love all love
- 1:36:54has to go to him and all loyalty. There's no loyalty to anything else or any body else even your own wife. People say I'm loyal to my wife. The bible tells you don't do that. You see it right here.
- 1:37:07Become to me hate not wife.
- 1:37:10Again, what does that mean?
- 1:37:12Well that means that obviously you obey
- 1:37:16God
- 1:37:17above all other things
- 1:37:20and all other men including yourself
- 1:37:23and all other women.
- 1:37:25But then you follow if you love
- 1:37:27if you love God, you will do what? You'll do the law of God toward them. So when you say that that this word means that, that's why I say I substantially agree but always
- 1:37:38this takes a little contemplation.
- 1:37:41Otherwise,
- 1:37:42you
- 1:37:42might fall into error. But I have learned by the way, Larry, just from my own experience
- 1:37:48that this verse is really really really true.
- 1:37:52I can give personal testimony to it.
- 1:37:55You gotta
- 1:37:58Jesus Christ demands denial of all things. It's an ultimate
- 1:38:03ultimate
- 1:38:04calling.
- 1:38:06And if
- 1:38:07you follow this calling,
- 1:38:10what does it mean to love
- 1:38:12Jesus Christ? It means you do
- 1:38:15what his law
- 1:38:17tells you to do.
- 1:38:19And if you do that,
- 1:38:21your family, many of your family will hate your guts
- 1:38:26because you'll make them feel more guilty. It's not you don't have to say anything much.
- 1:38:31You just find those that are closest and would be closest to you. Kith and Kim will hate you.
- 1:38:37That's a reality of the Christian life.
- 1:38:40Christian life is, you know, you get excited. I've
- 1:38:43met a couple of fellows down here at the Walmart
- 1:38:46not too long ago and they were so excited and they had bumper stick couple of Bubba's,
- 1:38:51young fellows, old beat up pickup truck.
- 1:38:54They're all excited. They were Christian folk and they were going to church and passing out tracks and,
- 1:39:00of course, that's that's exciting. That's like having a
- 1:39:05girl with young love. All of a sudden you, wow, I found I found the answer. Here's what I should should devote my life to.
- 1:39:13But then the adversity will come and you'll begin to wonder.
- 1:39:18You know, the the revolution we call it, the American war for independence from Britain. The the the confederates, well, they were all excited when they they first went to war. Oh, well, whoop these yanks and all. No. It didn't work out that way.
- 1:39:32And the same thing was true
- 1:39:35Same thing is true of a lot of people that march into battle. They may win
- 1:39:40in the end,
- 1:39:42but life is warfare. The Christian life is warfare
- 1:39:46and
- 1:39:47you're to deal with family and friends that hate you, if that doesn't happen, well you're not living a Christian life. There's something wrong.
- 1:39:54Your your commitment is not what Jesus Christ says it to be.
- 1:39:59I'm glad you brought that up but yeah. The word the word there for hate needs to be understood in light of
- 1:40:06this is my conclusion.
- 1:40:08All Greek words of the New Testament
- 1:40:11must be understood in light of the Old Testament words and concepts.
- 1:40:16Just looking into the Greek language won't always get you there, I've discovered that. These Greek words here are good
- 1:40:23and there we can pay close attention to them
- 1:40:27but
- 1:40:29God intends of course, they're this is
- 1:40:33seen in the light of the fundamental of all the bible which is the first five books, the law of God and the concepts that are there. And this statement,
- 1:40:43Jacob I have loved and Esau I have hated
- 1:40:46comes from a Hebrew text.
- 1:40:50And that's not a problem. I'm just saying it's important to understand it that way.
- 1:40:55Did God bless Esau?
- 1:40:58Boy, did he bless him with descendants,
- 1:41:00millions upon millions,
- 1:41:02hundreds of millions of descendants.
- 1:41:04And God said, I will bless Esau
- 1:41:08in that way.
- 1:41:11So it's not that he and can do
- 1:41:15descendants of Esau or some of them Christian? Are there Palestinian Christians? Well, without question. Yep. We discover that. So it's not that he hates them all in the sense he's gonna send them all to hell,
- 1:41:27but let's come down to the bottom line, the overarching principle here.
- 1:41:32Without Jesus Christ,
- 1:41:34a man is doomed. A woman is doomed.
- 1:41:38You say, I don't understand all this you're talking about Brent. Well, just understand this. Without Jesus Christ,
- 1:41:45you're
- 1:41:46bound for hell.
- 1:41:48I didn't say that. The bible says it over and over and over and over. Now I got two choices.
- 1:41:54I can believe what the left wing wackos and
- 1:41:58I call it Christa dumb people tell me, d u m b, or I can believe what the book clearly says. I'm going with the book. I hope you do too. That's the evidence.
- 1:42:08You know, you're talking Roger about the Dead Sea and I have one one more sentence if you'll allow me. All the evidence out there about Sodom and Gomorrah,
- 1:42:18well, that's all true and good. But a man ought to be able to come to the point at some point. Life's too short. The only evidence I'm interested in is this book and applying it to the laws of nature. Somebody,
- 1:42:29Unknown: said something. Yeah. Somebody's trying to get in. Who is that, please?
- 1:42:33Unknown: It's Christian.
- 1:42:35Unknown: Oh, yeah, Christian. Brent,
- 1:42:38I wanna thank god for you, Roger Sales, and Paul. And
- 1:42:43what was that that God rained down on the sodomy? Y'all said it would it would light you'd light a match on the dirt. That was a sulfur and what?
- 1:42:52Magnesium.
- 1:42:54Magnesium. Yes.
- 1:42:55Yeah. There there just it's not topsoil around the Dead Sea there. It's salt. It's little tiny particles of salt from magnesium,
- 1:43:03and now you you just put a a match to them or cigarette lighter, and and you know that stuff burns hot, Roger. Remember thermite from 09:11?
- 1:43:12Unknown: Uh-huh. That's magnesium.
- 1:43:15I believe correct me if I'm wrong, Brent. I think given that's the only place on Earth that those two were found in that concentration together?
- 1:43:23Unknown: That I've ever heard of.
- 1:43:25And I do know I was taught this when I was working
- 1:43:30for uncle Sam on the other side of the world that
- 1:43:34if a magnesium
- 1:43:36ever catches on fire,
- 1:43:38the only thing you can do is throw it in water, but that won't that'll get it out of your way. Yes. But that but it won't stop burn. No. It'll still burn underwater.
- 1:43:46Yeah. 4,000 or better than 4,000 degrees Fahrenheit is what I remember.
- 1:43:51Unknown: Cutting. They used to block I said nine eleven. It was it was designed
- 1:43:55and put on those, beams and stuff to cut those beams of the Twin Towers.
- 1:44:00Uh-huh. You saw the result?
- 1:44:02No.
- 1:44:03We had a Darryl, our flyboy,
- 1:44:06used to be around here years ago,
- 1:44:09and he had the distinction
- 1:44:12of flying the first flight into LaGuardia
- 1:44:15after 09:11. Do you remember him telling that story, Brent? Yep. Uh-huh. And he flew over, and he said he looked down. He could still see the pools of molten
- 1:44:26material
- 1:44:26at the bottom of that pit as he flew over.
- 1:44:30Hey, Roger. Well, to be
- 1:44:32Unknown: be precise,
- 1:44:34I'm looking. 5,610
- 1:44:36degrees Fahrenheit.
- 1:44:37That's what it burns at. Somebody somebody wants in. Think that's Paul. I think that's our boy, Paul. Yes, sir? Yeah. I got two things.
- 1:44:47Unknown: People often
- 1:44:49mistake
- 1:44:50the ingredients for thermite.
- 1:44:53They think that
- 1:44:55magnesium is a part of it,
- 1:44:58but
- 1:44:59what
- 1:45:00thermite is
- 1:45:02is a mixture of iron and aluminum oxide
- 1:45:06powders.
- 1:45:08And the reason you need to use magnesium
- 1:45:11is because the it takes a tremendous amount of heat to ignite the iron and aluminum oxide powders.
- 1:45:19So they ignite magnesium,
- 1:45:21and then it gets the job done.
- 1:45:23I see. I see. That's the whole scoop about that. Don't forget to talk about commonlawyer.com.
- 1:45:29Unknown: I know it's damn defective.
- 1:45:32Need to have Brett too. We'll take a little drum roll here and give Brent the microphone as if he hadn't had it all day to go ahead and tell people. Maybe there's some folks out there that are just becoming aware of you, Brent.
- 1:45:43And if so, I'm sure they're just hankering to find out how they can get more, and I want you to tell them.
- 1:45:50Unknown: Go to commonlawyer.com.
- 1:45:54Www.commonlawyer.com
- 1:46:00and you can take advantage of the things that we offer there.
- 1:46:06Translation of the bible from the original tongues. I call it for a raw translation
- 1:46:12because I don't wanna cook the book. People say is it literal. Yeah. Raw translation is as word for word as a fellow can make it and that's you can work at it. Not always possible in every case, but
- 1:46:25you can make it clear. And because of there if there is anything that I think needs to be explained, are over 35,000
- 1:46:31footnotes explaining why I translate the way I do.
- 1:46:35And then upwards
- 1:46:37of 250
- 1:46:38appendices tracing major themes through the warp and the war for the context of the bible. Much of what I said today is just it's all in that in the notes of the bible or made more apparent than the translation.
- 1:46:52You can get that in audio audio no. You can get it in
- 1:46:57digital or hard copy form.
- 1:47:00Also, family bible. I think this is a good idea.
- 1:47:03You know most states in The United States recognize the records of a family bible.
- 1:47:09If the records of birth, marriage, death
- 1:47:13and
- 1:47:15land transfer
- 1:47:17are
- 1:47:18on pages, written on pages bound into a bible.
- 1:47:22They are
- 1:47:24acceptable evidence in our courts
- 1:47:26for those matters and that can come in handy. It's not enough to trust the government to keep your records for you. That's okay to do that. You recorded it at the courthouse, that's good but the family bible is an important addition. You can get a family bible to record those records and we that's available also the comparative law text excellence of the common law.
- 1:47:49958
- 1:47:51pages comparing and contrasting.
- 1:47:53The only two traditions of religion law and government available to mankind. The first one is the true religion, tradition of religion law and government, that's Christianity.
- 1:48:04That includes our common law tradition, our common law tradition only found in the English speaking world
- 1:48:11and the law of the city.
- 1:48:12Contrasting that with that, the canon civil laws of Rome are called in more recent times.
- 1:48:18That's all there is. Of course, are variations of combining the two on the spectrum between but
- 1:48:26it's either one or the other and all nations and all men are tending either toward the one or toward the other. And then also books on common law subjects like the four militia clauses of our constitution
- 1:48:38and the right to remain silent and
- 1:48:41book on the the jury or the grand jury.
- 1:48:44And also Winters Inn, the law school
- 1:48:48have about a dozen classes
- 1:48:50taught and they're in the can and you can take advantage of those. Right now we're teaching through the declaration
- 1:48:58of '76,
- 1:49:00a cause by cause, a blow by blow. We're on coming up
- 1:49:05presentation
- 1:49:06number 25,
- 1:49:08sheriff Dar
- 1:49:09Leaf and
- 1:49:11and myself are presenters.
- 1:49:13Dar Leaf from Barry County, Michigan
- 1:49:15on and with those courses.
- 1:49:18And then we just got a call from
- 1:49:21one of the
- 1:49:23one of the political
- 1:49:25parties.
- 1:49:26It's not the
- 1:49:28most best known, but it is best known. They've been able to field
- 1:49:32candidates for president and senator throughout the country, senators
- 1:49:37and other offices,
- 1:49:39and they want us to put on a
- 1:49:41course on the fundamentals of our constitution of The United States.
- 1:49:46So we want to do that. So that and when we get done with this course, that'll be about Quite a compliment.
- 1:49:53Yeah. That and we wanna do about we'll have about sheriff Dar and I will have about 15 classes
- 1:49:58in the can audio and visual that you can take advantage of. You can join the class we're teaching now. Of course, we're on other platforms and you can go to the media button at commonlawyer.com
- 1:50:09and click on those.
- 1:50:12And also another, you support what we do when you make donations and we
- 1:50:17and help us expand what we're doing, print books and materials in the bible.
- 1:50:23And then on Saturdays and Sundays, we teach through the laws of nature and the laws of nature of God, our common law, unwritten and the law written,
- 1:50:31the bible.
- 1:50:32That's the meaning of those phrases as our declaration uses it and you can see that there.
- 1:50:39So go to commonlawyer.com
- 1:50:41and
- 1:50:41also the trust
- 1:50:43popular courses, the trust course,
- 1:50:47how to wrap the common law trust.
- 1:50:49Those are resources that we provide because the trust is the way God has structured his relationship with his people.
- 1:50:56Entrusted property is his land. He divides it up under the tongues
- 1:51:00and tribes of nations.
- 1:51:02He gives them land tenancy which we have here.
- 1:51:06And to understand the common law trust is to better understand your relationship with your maker, my friend.
- 1:51:12That's why we stress it and you can, of course, arrange your affairs
- 1:51:17with an asset protection trust as well. And we make all that a pardon? Which we are highly,
- 1:51:24Unknown: highly recommending
- 1:51:25people look into and do before they start down the path now.
- 1:51:31Well, because
- 1:51:32our enemies have gotten at least a little frisky.
- 1:51:35It's just a good idea. And
- 1:51:37Unknown: it's common law doctrine. It doesn't exist in the rest of the world, and it's good to entrust your property. But to do it properly, it's not something you just do. It's done and there it is. That doesn't work that way. No. It has to be alive. You have to use it and you and you can't use it unless you understand some fundamentals.
- 1:51:54But when you learn these fundamentals,
- 1:51:56then you better understand your relationship to your maker who is the settler of his entrustment to us as his people,
- 1:52:04his chosen beneficiaries,
- 1:52:05elect.
- 1:52:07And the common law, you choose your beneficiaries.
- 1:52:10Well, you can, get the trust package. I believe there's a package on the Internet, although I'll have to find out. I think there is and I think I know what's in it. And the products,
- 1:52:23what's in it is what I produced with other people like sheriff Darr,
- 1:52:27but
- 1:52:28just go to the website commonlawyer.com
- 1:52:30and you can see it there.
- 1:52:32Commonlawyer.com,
- 1:52:34Unknown: and my name is Brent Allen Winters. Go ahead. Boy, are we honored and happy to have him aboard for many, many years now. I don't even know we both lost count.
- 1:52:43Probably around thirteen or so. Over 10. I know that. Over 10. Yeah. We've had shows where Brent
- 1:52:50was on the net on a laser beam up in Palmer, Alaska, and I was down in Patagonia.
- 1:52:56Unknown: And it was crystal clear just like today. It's amazing. Amazing. It is amazing, Roger. Yeah. And then broadcast all over the world while we're at two ends of the Yeah. Two different hemispheres.
- 1:53:08And
- 1:53:09Unknown: So, any questions or comments here? Got a minute or two left.
- 1:53:15Anyone?
- 1:53:18Did we drive y'all all off or what?
- 1:53:23Listen to that. Wow. It's like, yeah, I I liken this to dropping the rock down the well.
- 1:53:30Mhmm. And it just never hits bottom.
- 1:53:33Unknown: Okay.
- 1:53:34Unknown: I unmuted one and muted the other. Wait. Yeah. Mean, I knew Thank you, Larry. I knew we could make one of them guilty enough to come forward. Hi, Murr.
- 1:53:43Unknown: Hi.
- 1:53:44Yeah. Thank you, Larry. I love you. I love you bringing this up as you did because I've heard it elsewhere too.
- 1:53:50Now, Brent, you went into it, like, more than twenty minutes talking about love, but the question was about can God hate?
- 1:53:58Unknown: That's right. Good
- 1:54:00point. Good point. He wants us to understand love
- 1:54:03in light or hate in light of his love and you can't and that's why they come together sometimes.
- 1:54:10You can't understand
- 1:54:12one without the contrast to the other. You know, the ancient Greeks even knew this and the bible does this
- 1:54:18nonstop.
- 1:54:19It's built on this principle.
- 1:54:21To understand the meaning of a word is put in parallel with its opposite
- 1:54:26or its synonym depending upon what but but you compare and contrast both compare synonyms
- 1:54:32and contrast words. There's no other way I should say maybe better, the best way to learn the meaning of words is through comparing and contrast comparison and contrasting.
- 1:54:43The hate of God in the end is as vicious,
- 1:54:48as terminal,
- 1:54:49as vengeful,
- 1:54:51as the love of God is beautiful on the other end. There's no question about that in the final analysis.
- 1:54:58But
- 1:54:59at the same time, I had a fellow. I've told this story before. He had a mother.
- 1:55:03I was in school with him, and his mother was a hooker.
- 1:55:08And he was a
- 1:55:10Mexican.
- 1:55:11He lived in Los Angeles.
- 1:55:13I remember saying that he was from, the Sonora
- 1:55:18there.
- 1:55:19The people there are tall. There's a tribe of people there, very tall. He was a big, big, great, big tall fellow. His mother was a hooker.
- 1:55:27And I
- 1:55:29was talking to him once. He said, well, I went out and I saw a book in the back of an old pickup truck that was abandoned near to where I live. And in the book, I said, maybe this is something that I could give to my mother
- 1:55:42that would
- 1:55:43open her eyes
- 1:55:45to the truth of the gospel.
- 1:55:48And
- 1:55:49I said, well, why are you interested in doing that? We were in our twenties back then.
- 1:55:54He said, well, I'm trying I've been trying to figure a long time how to show honor to my mother. She's headed for terminal destruction.
- 1:56:01If the way it looks to me and I wanna communicate the truth to her and I'm trying to find a way to do that.
- 1:56:08Is there hate there? Well, yeah. God says clearly.
- 1:56:13You don't have to explain this.
- 1:56:15Paul the apostle
- 1:56:17says it clearly over and over in Romans chapter
- 1:56:20eight and nine
- 1:56:22that
- 1:56:23Jacob I loved, he saw, I've hated before the boys had the opportunity to do good or evil. Remember, God didn't elect you to be choose you to be Christian
- 1:56:32to give you the new birth because
- 1:56:34you did some meritorious thing that gained his favor.
- 1:56:38That's not the gospel. The gospel is you did nothing.
- 1:56:42Nothing in my hand I bring only to thy cross I cling. Other refuge have I none.
- 1:56:47Hangs my helpless soul along one.
- 1:56:50That's Jesus Christ.
- 1:56:52Now there's nothing we can do. It's all of they say of grace.
- 1:56:56That my friends
- 1:56:58is the protestant reformation
- 1:57:01and anything else is a damnable lie from hell.
- 1:57:04And boy, people will say anything and do anything. You know, the great controversy
- 1:57:09during the when the reformation came up, it was it it kinda sparked off there with Martin Luther, you know. Then he got into a a debate back in them days. No TV, television, or radio. And people wrote
- 1:57:22in a public way and fought in public
- 1:57:25about things like that. And Erasmus
- 1:57:28was the Roman priest on the other side of this point that we're talking about the sovereignty of God.
- 1:57:34And Luther
- 1:57:36is was a Calvinist.
- 1:57:39Came after Luther.
- 1:57:42Lutheranism
- 1:57:43was Calvinism
- 1:57:44to start.
- 1:57:45And after Luther passed away, Melancton
- 1:57:48took over and he trashed he trashed the god's sovereignty is what he did, and Lutheranism never
- 1:57:55recovered.
- 1:57:56And Martin Luther recognized that when he got older. He said, I nothing I've said at foundation
- 1:58:03have the Saxon people continued with. Well,
- 1:58:07he was right. I'm gonna stop talking so the whistling can go on. I wanna finish. Well, let me say Murr and Murr, I appreciate you bringing it up and trying to zero in. And also, Larry, let me finish my comments if I may.
- 1:58:20Unknown: Yeah. We'll be finished with the tail out here, the exit in just a second. We'll say thank you, Brent, as always, and how much we
- 1:58:29really appreciate you taking our time. I know you like our bunch, and we all fit together real well. And we just really appreciate this long continuous
- 1:58:40oh,
- 1:58:41a trail of shows that goes back so long.
- 1:58:44It's just interesting how we met, how this has developed, and,
- 1:58:48we sure, like I said, are honored to have you, Brent. So Well, I feel the same way about you, Roger. What's that? Thank you. I was just like, Brent's Oh, the hardworking guy. He works seven days a week, and he'll be on this weekend. You can find all that on the website,
- 1:59:03commonlawyer.com,
- 1:59:05and we'll be back tomorrow. I do take a day off this these days, but we'll be back to have it tomorrow's show and you can do video or recordings either one or whatever you want to do,
- 1:59:16but we try and be regular and consistent here and get the Lord's message of freedom out
- 1:59:22And we're glad you're with us, and we love all of you. So well, I'll have a good Alright.
- 1:59:28We'll
- 1:59:29we'll see you soon. Hold on. This is about done, and we can talk. Yep.
- 1:59:34Yes, sir.
- 1:59:36Unknown: Yeah. This Jerry
- 1:59:37Unknown: g Garcia calls bad New Mexico. Jerry. Hey, man. I was thinking about you a minute ago when Brent was talking about New Mexico.
- 1:59:45Unknown: New Mexico. I heard it.
- 1:59:47Yeah. He was making a comment on that
- 1:59:52Camino Real
- 1:59:54and my greatest grandfather
- 1:59:56in 1680
- 1:59:58took about a thousand or plus people
- 2:00:02from
- 2:00:03Albuquerque
- 2:00:05back all the way to El Paso on the Camino Real.
- 2:00:10Unknown: Okay. So you got one over there too. Uh-huh.
- 2:00:13Cool.
- 2:00:14Unknown: Mhmm. No. Thank you. No. It's just a real deal. And the kit it's called the King's Highway, but it's not obviously as Spanish king in the bible. But king,
- 2:00:25better translated in that context, emperor,
- 2:00:28the law of the city highway.
- 2:00:31But
- 2:00:32we're getting back to the sovereignty of God. Again,
- 2:00:35there the
- 2:00:37Protestant Reformation occurred because Rome denied that reality.
- 2:00:41And to put it more succinctly,
- 2:00:44what Rome said and still says is this.
- 2:00:47It says that when our grandpa Adam
- 2:00:51knowingly,
- 2:00:51and it was knowingly,
- 2:00:53his wife, it was not knowingly.
- 2:00:55What she did when she partook for the fruit, she was hornswoggled and that's why Paul the apostle makes the point that the female of our species has less discernment
- 2:01:05than the male.
- 2:01:06And so she she and because god made her that way strengthened her in other ways, of course, that the male doesn't have. But because god made her that way,
- 2:01:19mankind did not fall into depravity when she partook of the fruit.
- 2:01:23But when Adam did it, he knew better. He he wasn't hornswoggled.
- 2:01:27He just wanted to go along, get along with his wife for, I think, some obvious reasons.
- 2:01:32He thought he thought she was quite the gal, but,
- 2:01:35he partook that plunged us in, the race of Adam
- 2:01:40into
- 2:01:41total, not partial,
- 2:01:43total depravity.
- 2:01:45And the reformation of of the well, what we call they call it the reformation. It wasn't a reformation of anything. It didn't reform anything.
- 2:01:53It was just recognizing the truth of the bible fundamentally.
- 2:01:57What's the truth? The men are
- 2:01:59were
- 2:02:01Adam's race is put into depravity by what he did, and we can't even imagine.
- 2:02:08We get glimpses as we get older of how bad it is. Oh, it's awful.
- 2:02:12We'll come to
- 2:02:14Rome and Babylon. The doctrine of Babylon is that when Adam fell on the in the garden,
- 2:02:23he he fell to neutrality,
- 2:02:25not depravity.
- 2:02:26Now this is fundamental. This was the this is Martin Luther and Erasmus in the early days and they were fighting in public and writing profusely.
- 2:02:36And
- 2:02:37Luther finally said publicly,
- 2:02:41he said, Erasmus, I appreciate you
- 2:02:44because you
- 2:02:46have identified
- 2:02:48the hinge
- 2:02:49upon which the door turned between us. What was it? Erasmus took the the Babylonian view. He's a Roman priest.
- 2:02:58And he said, no man is not totally depraved.
- 2:03:01He still has the power of choosing
- 2:03:04choosing truth.
- 2:03:06And Luther said, no.
- 2:03:08The Bible is clear.
- 2:03:10The only thing he can choose is choose among evil. He can never choose truth and and and
- 2:03:17a way that produces that it not produces. No. No. That's not it. That in a way that exemplifies
- 2:03:23his
- 2:03:24his election.
- 2:03:26He can't man
- 2:03:28cannot elect for himself. We had an old preacher at home, knew him well, liked him.
- 2:03:33Old Fred,
- 2:03:35he said the election of the bible, he said this, one time preaching, I remember.
- 2:03:40He said the election of the bible is god votes for you,
- 2:03:44the devil votes against you,
- 2:03:46and you
- 2:03:47cast
- 2:03:48the
- 2:03:49the deciding vote. Yeah.
- 2:03:52That is not true. Not even a little. The bible never says that. The bible says just
- 2:03:58just the opposite in this this sense that
- 2:04:00god always wins. Law never wins. That's the meaning of Israel. He cast the deciding vote and that's why Paul the apostle says that. And when people say then Paul the apostle anticipating,
- 2:04:13they're in Romans anticipating the response
- 2:04:17says you those of you who would deny this, who are you? Who do you think you are
- 2:04:22to answer back against against god?
- 2:04:25God has said it. It's clear as crystal in the Old Testament. I'm repeating it here.
- 2:04:31You
- 2:04:32don't have that authority.
- 2:04:35The Bible has spoken.
- 2:04:37God has spoken
- 2:04:39and he says he makes some vessels
- 2:04:41to honor
- 2:04:43and others to dishonor.
- 2:04:45I don't profess to know to explain that.
- 2:04:48My
- 2:04:49point of view is and I'm trying to get this across, the bible is ultimate evidence.
- 2:04:55And if it asserts a truth,
- 2:04:58a fact,
- 2:05:00then there is no way and there is no evidence to contravene it, and there is none.
- 2:05:04I haven't seen any.
- 2:05:06Then, even in the bible,
- 2:05:09then why wouldn't you accept it?
- 2:05:12And the reason men don't accept it in my you know, I have take it from the bible. I take it from the bible. It says men don't accept the truth because they're
- 2:05:21they're rebellious against God. Now during the reformation, this happened.
- 2:05:26Erasmus wouldn't accept that truth.
- 2:05:29And Martin Luther then eventually from that
- 2:05:32those public exchanges he had with Erasmus,
- 2:05:36he wrote a book
- 2:05:37called bondage of the will, a big thick book.
- 2:05:40Bondage of the will.
- 2:05:42And in that book, he shows biblically
- 2:05:47that if a man is not born of the spirit,
- 2:05:51he has freedom of choice among evil.
- 2:05:55Even if it looks good, it's still
- 2:05:58got a pound of his flesh in it, therefore it's evil. He cannot ultimately choose,
- 2:06:03recognize
- 2:06:05that Jesus Christ has chosen him.
- 2:06:08You know, Christianity is not you choosing
- 2:06:11and then you become a Christian. Christianity is you recognizing finally
- 2:06:16that God has given you the new birth just like a baby who was born of the flesh.
- 2:06:21Finally recognizes he has self existence and then he recognizes
- 2:06:25dada and then he he recognizes even before that mama.
- 2:06:29And then he begins to accept his own existence who his father is.
- 2:06:34That's the way Christianity is. You
- 2:06:36you're born from above and then you either
- 2:06:39you you you recognize it. The light comes on. You begin to have a self realization.
- 2:06:44And then from that over
- 2:06:46decades,
- 2:06:47if you live that long, confidence builds
- 2:06:51about the fact that god truly is your father. He has truly given you this the the spiritual birth and you truly have the confidence to charge ahead
- 2:07:00and not worry about the future, it is fixed.
- 2:07:04God has established you as his child and that's it. And the callings of God says the bible are without repentance. He'll never change his mind. And the bible says that in many other ways as well.
- 2:07:16Once you're a son of god, you're a son of god, period.
- 2:07:20And no matter how rotten you get, people say, well, I can really do something bad and not be a Christian anymore. No. You can't do that. You didn't you didn't become a Christian by doing something good.
- 2:07:32You can't undo your Christianity by doing something bad. But god what god will do if you do something bad,
- 2:07:39you're his son, his daughter. He'll slap you into next Sunday until you straighten up. And if you don't straighten up, he'll just kill you and take you home. And I can point to the Bibles and show where that's happened.
- 2:07:51That's what would happen to you. This is an ultimate to read this one. Right? Go ahead. Yeah. Go ahead. Read it.
- 2:08:00Unknown: I just Jerry, g Garcia. I just want to read this one Yeah. Before I go. Yeah, Jerry. Go ahead. Galatians Galatians five five thirteen.
- 2:08:08You, my brothers, were called to be free.
- 2:08:11We did not use your freedom to indulge in the sinful nature.
- 2:08:16Rather, serve one another in love.
- 2:08:20Unknown: You go. Great, Jerry. Thanks, Jerry.
- 2:08:23Unknown: Appreciate it. In other words, do what god says tell you to do what god tells you to do. Obey his law toward one another,
- 2:08:29Christian folk.
- 2:08:31And I obey try to obey god's law when I raised my children. I did things to them that they didn't like and I didn't like to do
- 2:08:39and I deal with that even right now. They asked me things or asked me for things, should I give them everything they asked? The answer is absolutely not.
- 2:08:47Well that hurts feelings sometimes
- 2:08:50but I am bound by my master.
- 2:08:53I'm responsible.
- 2:08:54I will answer.
- 2:08:56I'll pay the consequences if I don't do what he says and it is my
- 2:09:01my chief goal in life. I hope it's yours. I wanna know what he what he's commanded me to do and that means I must pay attention. I must remind myself. I must look. I must be in the book
- 2:09:13daily
- 2:09:15and I
- 2:09:16commend that to you as well. It gives you a great enjoyment.
- 2:09:20It gives you a confidence
- 2:09:22about your own salvation.
- 2:09:24You know, God saved us, but
- 2:09:27are we truly
- 2:09:29is our future so secure
- 2:09:31that we can afford to go out and take chances and maybe make mistakes. So that's an understood. We will make mistakes, but our future friends is secure.
- 2:09:41If your if your future is not secure,
- 2:09:44then you
- 2:09:45you're afraid and you don't wanna do anything.
- 2:09:48You'd be like the Jews. Oh, don't pronounce the name of God. Don't do that. You might make a mistake and you might, oh, fear.
- 2:09:55Fear. Fear. Fear. You're afraid. Afraid. Afraid.
- 2:10:01Then you don't step out. Hey, Roger.
- 2:10:03Unknown: Well, anyway, go ahead. Somebody someone to get there. Yes, sir.
- 2:10:09Unknown: Hey. It's Doug.
- 2:10:11Douglas.
- 2:10:12Can you hear me? Two days in a row, man. Yeah. Wow.
- 2:10:17I know. I know. Well, I
- 2:10:20have
- 2:10:22time.
- 2:10:23The,
- 2:10:24so this is addressed to Brent, especially.
- 2:10:30The way I you know, all
- 2:10:32of these scriptural
- 2:10:36conversations,
- 2:10:37they
- 2:10:39spark
- 2:10:41my life of
- 2:10:43years I've been in scriptures,
- 2:10:46and
- 2:10:47I was just thinking,
- 2:10:52the word depravity
- 2:10:53is a
- 2:10:54it's a word that
- 2:10:57indicates doom.
- 2:11:00No way out,
- 2:11:01this kind of thing. But
- 2:11:04I was thinking,
- 2:11:05so what is
- 2:11:07an ultimate
- 2:11:08remedy?
- 2:11:11And
- 2:11:11in my way of thinking, it's
- 2:11:14to love the Lord your God
- 2:11:17with all of your heart,
- 2:11:20soul,
- 2:11:21mind, and strength.
- 2:11:24I think the father honors that when it's sincere.
- 2:11:29And
- 2:11:31although that's a decision
- 2:11:33that's based upon scripture to do that,
- 2:11:37we're not
- 2:11:38without help.
- 2:11:41He will make that happen if that is one's sincere
- 2:11:47desire
- 2:11:48to do that.
- 2:11:50So
- 2:11:51in my way of thinking,
- 2:11:53this is the ultimate way out or way in
- 2:11:59and remedy.
- 2:12:03Unknown: Yes. And I don't disagree. No. I don't disagree. And God
- 2:12:07gives you that desire. You don't work it up in yourself.
- 2:12:11With a new birth comes the new heart, the new mind, the new heart is the new desire.
- 2:12:15He gives everything to us and and it will happen.
- 2:12:18And then we have as under the new birth, we have the ability to choose what is right. We have freedom to choose among many choices that are wrong
- 2:12:28that when we're not Christian folk after the new birth,
- 2:12:32there is the true freedom. That's why Jesus Christ says, if the son makes you free,
- 2:12:39you know, where he gives you the new birth, you are truly free. Oh, you have freedom before that. You can choose a lot of things. You can you choose to reject truth, you choose this, you choose that, but there's a pound of selfishness in everything you choose
- 2:12:52and it's all evil as the bible says, even the plowing
- 2:12:57of the wicked man, the wrong headed man is sin.
- 2:13:01He can't do anything right even when it looks right. People ask me about, well should I
- 2:13:07was an elder in church,
- 2:13:08should I take advantage of the Shriners Hospital?
- 2:13:11My daughter has a problem, it had to do with her back
- 2:13:16and
- 2:13:18he said, are the Shriners Christians? I said, well obviously
- 2:13:21the shrine is not Christian, it's Babylonian.
- 2:13:25But do we do good things in the sight of men and that help hold the world together and the answer is yes. Non christian folk do a lot of good things
- 2:13:34but here's the point and Barnhouse used to say this a lot is absolutely right, it's about the bible.
- 2:13:41There are a lot of good things that we do, non christian men do that are good in the sight of other men,
- 2:13:48good for their families, good for them in the short term in this life,
- 2:13:53but not good in the sight of God.
- 2:13:56Because
- 2:13:58the non christian man or woman in the sight of God
- 2:14:02is the object of his hate as we're pointing out while ago. That means the object of his terminal
- 2:14:09vengeance.
- 2:14:11That's what the book says. Now the our forebearers here in America used to make much of that and they'd say
- 2:14:17well, the most famous I'll give you an example. The most famous
- 2:14:20sermon ever preached to America was preached by the second president of Princeton College.
- 2:14:26His name was
- 2:14:28Jonathan Edwards called the greatest mind America ever produced.
- 2:14:32He preached about
- 2:14:3410
- 2:14:36sisters that he was like a little doll to him. They had him reading Latin and Greek by the time he was five years old. He was you know teaching him those things and he read so much that his eyes were really bad.
- 2:14:47By the time he pastored, he was Presbyterian, went to Princeton
- 2:14:52and
- 2:14:54and he preached a sermon called sinners in the hands of an angry God.
- 2:14:59God
- 2:15:00uses many things to bring his elect to himself,
- 2:15:04but one of the things he uses is fear.
- 2:15:06Fear of hell.
- 2:15:08And
- 2:15:09when you tell people
- 2:15:11as we tell the whole council of God and this is getting right to the bottom, it's the ultimate question when the sovereignty of God meets the will of man, well who's sovereign here? Well God is. The Bible is clear.
- 2:15:25But he uses fear of hell to bring his elect to himself and Jonathan Edwards
- 2:15:30who was the last of the great
- 2:15:33Puritans in America among the last and he preached that sermon from the Puritan point of view of he was a Presbyterian.
- 2:15:40Presbyterians
- 2:15:41have the same point of view as the puritan point of view about election.
- 2:15:45No, we're just, what does the bible say?
- 2:15:48And he went to a verse and the verse was this,
- 2:15:52their foot shall slip
- 2:15:54in due time.
- 2:15:56Speaking of Israel, God speaking in the old testament
- 2:15:59and he pictures the man that's not born from above
- 2:16:04hanging because the bible uses this picture
- 2:16:07hanging over the gaping maw of hell
- 2:16:12by a thread
- 2:16:14and the judge of heaven heaven and earth who is Jesus Christ according to the bible
- 2:16:19has a pair of scissors as it were
- 2:16:23right around the thread
- 2:16:25and he's hanging over the maw
- 2:16:28of hell, the flames and the opening and shutting of the mouth of hell.
- 2:16:33How precarious is the position? That's pretty precarious.
- 2:16:37And God uses fear
- 2:16:39sometimes a lot.
- 2:16:41Not always, but sometimes. He use anything he wants to bring people to himself. He'll use compassion.
- 2:16:48He'll use love. He'll trigger it any way he wants even emotion.
- 2:16:52And that was Jonathan Edwards'
- 2:16:54view also and he wrote a book on that called of religious
- 2:16:58affections.
- 2:16:59Long story behind why he wrote that book.
- 2:17:03So my friends, I say to you,
- 2:17:06I'm not here making stuff up. It's not like I'm not in good company of men much smarter than myself for centuries who have said these things and really all they've said is, well we've decided to to trust what the bible says and not what the pope of Rome says. That's really all it amounted to
- 2:17:22And that's what I'm doing here. I'm saying, well, I can trust the leader of the largest pedophilia ring in the world or I can trust what the book said. Yes. Somebody's speaking. Dougie again.
- 2:17:32Unknown: I was,
- 2:17:34yeah,
- 2:17:35another
- 2:17:36experience I had as a baby Christian
- 2:17:39just
- 2:17:40maybe a year after I was delivered,
- 2:17:44I was
- 2:17:45sitting on a floor with six
- 2:17:48other,
- 2:17:49quote, Christians,
- 2:17:51and we were praying,
- 2:17:52young people in our twenties.
- 2:17:55And
- 2:17:56all of a sudden, a a a very evil, malevolent thought came into my mind,
- 2:18:03and I wasn't aware of spiritual warfare or anything at the time.
- 2:18:08And I so when this happened,
- 2:18:12I went to my heavenly father, and I said,
- 2:18:16where did that come from?
- 2:18:19And
- 2:18:21the message I got back was not all thoughts are your own
- 2:18:25and just
- 2:18:27ignore it.
- 2:18:30And
- 2:18:31that stuck with me and is still with me today that not all of our thoughts are our own. And
- 2:18:40as I grew up, I taught this aspect
- 2:18:43from time to time.
- 2:18:45And it's just
- 2:18:47all of our thoughts. And just like I said,
- 2:18:51love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
- 2:18:54We're also supposed to
- 2:18:57control our thoughts
- 2:19:00Unknown: to Yes. And though come here. Glad you brought that up. Yeah. Go ahead.
- 2:19:05Oh. Well, I was gonna Yeah. Can I add to what you were saying at this point? Yeah. I I get your point and the reason those thoughts, they're not always our own. The reason they creep in
- 2:19:17according to the bible is because of our sin,
- 2:19:20our weakness as mortal
- 2:19:23creatures.
- 2:19:25We're weak
- 2:19:26and so we're in a position where we are to fight and we're told how to fight and sometimes that fight can become physical. Sometimes it's just in your mind, know you talk to people that go into high discipline
- 2:19:39training and they'll tell you this isn't about my body, this is about my mind. It is.
- 2:19:45The ultimate battle is in the mind even that controls your body that's why Paul the Apostle says,
- 2:19:51tearing down the fortresses
- 2:19:53of your mind that are the strongholds he says, of the mind
- 2:19:58bringing every thought
- 2:20:00captive
- 2:20:02to Jesus Christ.
- 2:20:03So you have this benevolent thought come
- 2:20:06because of weakness, something that happened before in your life, whatever, it's there.
- 2:20:11And we are to bring all of those thoughts, throw them out. Martin Luther put it this way and again, I'm not a Lutheran, I don't want to be a Lutheran, but Martin
- 2:20:19had a lot of stuff wired. He wasn't perfect either. He used to say it this way, as a Christian man I can see the birds flying overhead
- 2:20:28but I don't let them nest in my hair
- 2:20:33and that's the way thoughts are.
- 2:20:35A benevolent thought
- 2:20:37can fly through your mind and
- 2:20:40like a bird
- 2:20:42you don't grab it and coddle it if you do and of course you can.
- 2:20:47You're free at this point. You're really free. You can choose evil or good, see, at that point. See Adam in the garden, listen to me, Adam in the garden had the freedom to choose right
- 2:20:57and wrong
- 2:20:59and once he fell, he didn't have any choice but wrong.
- 2:21:03He had choice, a lot of choices but none of them were really good in the sight of God
- 2:21:08and when you're made free and now you have that choice again, you have the freedom to choose what is right and if those thoughts fly through your mind,
- 2:21:17I
- 2:21:19let them go. Get them out. Don't don't bring them in and and and try to enjoy them and and slobber over them. If you do that,
- 2:21:27it'll get worse. It will grow.
- 2:21:29Unknown: Well,
- 2:21:30the Well, the weapon I used Go ahead. Frank, the weapon I used
- 2:21:36for
- 2:21:37well, I I suppose I still do it today, but as a young man,
- 2:21:43I poured
- 2:21:45and memorized
- 2:21:46just hundreds of verses of scripture
- 2:21:50that were applicable
- 2:21:53to
- 2:21:56protecting myself and and operating
- 2:21:59under the will of the scriptures.
- 2:22:02Unknown: Well, and I agree with you and the bible says that. How shall a young man protect his way? I'm quoting the Psalms.
- 2:22:10How shall a young man protect his way?
- 2:22:13But comma,
- 2:22:14here's the answer,
- 2:22:17by
- 2:22:18chewing the cud, by chewing God's word
- 2:22:21like cud. Now the King Jimmy's boys say by meditating on thy law.
- 2:22:26Is that true? Yes, but that word meditate is not what that really means.
- 2:22:31That's a Latin word. Meditation today of course produces pictures
- 2:22:37of people sitting in the lotus position with their legs crossed,
- 2:22:41trying to contemplate their belly button till they think they cease to exist.
- 2:22:45Unknown: While they're on.
- 2:22:47Yeah.
- 2:22:49Unknown: That's silly stupidity.
- 2:22:50Worse than that, it's dangerous.
- 2:22:54A teacher one time, he was he was enamored with the Quakers
- 2:22:58and
- 2:23:00he wanted us to read a book by a Quaker and we read the book, a very popular book, don't remember the name of it.
- 2:23:06But this Quakers idea is you've got to empty your mind or God won't talk to you. See Quakers believe that God talking to you while you're silent is more important than reading the bible, they've always believed that. They believe there's a spark of goodness in you. So if you can get in touch with your own self,
- 2:23:24again contemplate your own belly button. No no no friends, you do that, all you're doing is making it worse because you're depraved.
- 2:23:32You know I should say as a Christian,
- 2:23:35haven't
- 2:23:35you're you're imperfect,
- 2:23:37you're
- 2:23:39you're dangerous, you're mortal.
- 2:23:41God gives us something objective that's better than us and what is it? It is the words of Jesus the Christ,
- 2:23:48the sovereign God and maker of all things,
- 2:23:51reduced to the span of a man so we understand him. And the answer is
- 2:23:56to chew the word of God like cut. I watched the cattle. I got a cattle now. I still do this. Did it when I was a kid and I'm still doing it. I want we had a calf the other day. I'm watching the calf.
- 2:24:06And the calf I said, when is the calf out nibbling? Pretty soon they're out nibbling on on weeds. Then I saw that little calf sitting down the other day.
- 2:24:15Just sitting down, laying down, you know how they could do,
- 2:24:18chewing cud.
- 2:24:20I said, well, that little guy
- 2:24:22that little guy has eaten enough. He's chewing cud. That's good. That's good. But what I noticed about his mother and the bull and the other cattle,
- 2:24:31when you sit and you get close to him, you watch him eat, boy, they're woofing it down like dogs woof down meat.
- 2:24:36They don't chew much of nothing.
- 2:24:38And they got their tongue going. They're raking that grass in as fast as they can all day long and then in the hot of the day and then in the evening they go sit down or lay down
- 2:24:48and they bring it all back up one ball at a time and chew it.
- 2:24:52And that's why the bible uses the word, the Hebrew word that means chew cud.
- 2:24:57That's
- 2:24:58why it says Joshua
- 2:25:00one verses eight and nine, God said to Joshua,
- 2:25:04the commander in chief of the 12 militias of the 12 several tribes of Israel.
- 2:25:09Now just on the eve of going into battle to conquer the land, split it down middle,
- 2:25:14divide and conquer.
- 2:25:16And God says, if you
- 2:25:19chew the cud of
- 2:25:22my word
- 2:25:23day and night, if that's all you've got on your mind,
- 2:25:27then wherever your foot will go, you will conquer. See, there's the land and the conquering the land and bringing it under subjection to God's law, making it productive. That's what that was all about. But he said,
- 2:25:38you can do that fundamental thing. If
- 2:25:42the word of God dominates your mind. Well, there's only one way that can happen.
- 2:25:46You take it in like we're doing right here. We're talking about it. We're getting reminded I'm saying things, other people are saying things.
- 2:25:53Now it's in the minds of some of the listeners
- 2:25:56and they will
- 2:25:58regurgitate it, bring it back up
- 2:26:00like a cow does and chew on it.
- 2:26:03And if you've got the word of God in you to any degree and it keeps coming back up and you keep chewing on it when you're driving your car, when you're kinda neutral,
- 2:26:13and it'll come to mind.
- 2:26:15Instead of a rock and roll song coming to mind. Roger, last night a song came to mind that I learned when I was a kid. I heard it a lot. It was such a it was from the nineteen twenties, but it was such a good song. It just hung on. Yeah. Even when I was I knew the words of it, and then the song was five foot two eyes are blue. Yeah. I know what those blue eyes are. Can
- 2:26:36Can do. Has anybody seen that my That My gal. Yeah. And that was going over. I and I get up in the morning, I'd hear that tune. I'd say doggone it. See, if you get something g I g o, garbage in garbage out. This is the way our minds work and god knows that. So if you get things in,
- 2:26:54you will meditate on them whether you want to or not even. And you get Those the bible and if that becomes a dominating force, it will become what you do with your hands and what you say with your tongue. Go ahead, Roger. Your subconscious seems to deliver you some of those old songs. I particularly like the songs from the twenties and the thirties and the lyrics and the melody lines. They're Mhmm. Fantastic.
- 2:27:17Unknown: Yeah. And, yeah, often that comes to my mind even lately. It's funny you should say that.
- 2:27:23Unknown: I forget Well, I use I've been on my mind, but I've had one of those on my mind here lately. So I use that as an illustration Well as an illustration of how our minds work, and god knows that. That's why he tells us to chew his word like cud, but you gotta get it in. Yeah. To regurgitate it and chew it. Yep. Yep. Yep.
- 2:27:42Unknown: Hey. Listen. Somebody One more thing if if it's okay
- 2:27:47Yeah. That I'd like to mention from
- 2:27:50I like you say a lot of times, Brent, you know, it's this is my testimony,
- 2:27:56firsthand witness testimony.
- 2:27:59Mhmm. So
- 2:28:01when I was delivered, then I won't go into the experience,
- 2:28:04but to me, it was miraculous.
- 2:28:07And Mhmm. So then I got into this
- 2:28:11what was ended up being, probably was in the beginning, an occult ministry
- 2:28:17going to the national. Well, anyway,
- 2:28:20you know, I told you about me sitting there praying with a bunch of people, and I had this thought come into my mind. Well Mhmm. From the beginning,
- 2:28:32it became a very personal thing with me
- 2:28:35that
- 2:28:37my initial experience was personal
- 2:28:40with
- 2:28:41the true god.
- 2:28:43And Mhmm. In spite of a a rather large ministry,
- 2:28:48you know, the campus first campus I was on, there were probably 500
- 2:28:53people there.
- 2:28:54But Mhmm.
- 2:28:56My
- 2:28:57goal
- 2:28:59from my deliverance became I wanna know you,
- 2:29:03God.
- 2:29:04I this is this is my goal, to know more and more and more of you.
- 2:29:11Mhmm. And
- 2:29:13during
- 2:29:14years,
- 2:29:16I
- 2:29:17learned about a word called
- 2:29:19efficacious.
- 2:29:22And as I
- 2:29:24studied it and
- 2:29:26tried to understand it, my understanding,
- 2:29:32was that
- 2:29:33it's to go along, to get along, it's to be like everybody else,
- 2:29:38this type of thing.
- 2:29:40And
- 2:29:42but because I never stopped
- 2:29:46my goal,
- 2:29:47my
- 2:29:48motivation
- 2:29:49to know the God that created me, that delivered me
- 2:29:54Mhmm. I just
- 2:29:55I was able to stand independently
- 2:30:00in spite of
- 2:30:04I,
- 2:30:05through a number of circumstances,
- 2:30:07became
- 2:30:09affiliated with the founder
- 2:30:12and president of this ministry.
- 2:30:16Uh-huh.
- 2:30:18But because of
- 2:30:21setting
- 2:30:23a rule for myself that
- 2:30:25this was I'm I'm looking for you, father.
- 2:30:29I wanna know you,
- 2:30:31and I know that
- 2:30:33I'm not always right. Other people are gonna be in this powerful ministry.
- 2:30:41These things were not able to sway me
- 2:30:45even
- 2:30:46with threat
- 2:30:47of which had happened to me many times of being thrown out of this thing because I stood up to authority
- 2:30:56and
- 2:30:56things that I understood scripturally
- 2:30:59to be totally wrong.
- 2:31:01And I just think that's the point I wanted to make here is it has to be personal.
- 2:31:08Yeah. People have heard, you know, when you end up going before the judge,
- 2:31:12nobody's gonna be able to stand there and say, oh, but he you know, I know him. He forgive him or whatever.
- 2:31:19Mhmm. So, anyway, that's my message here.
- 2:31:23Unknown: Well, freedom freedom of choice is the chief characteristic of what freedom is.
- 2:31:29Freedom is I'm free to choose, but if you're not born by God, your your free your choice is limited
- 2:31:35to what is
- 2:31:36what is has a town of flesh in it, it's never enough to please God, you only choose evil.
- 2:31:42Freedom of choice is you can choose good. So in that situation,
- 2:31:46it has to be personal. There is no other kind of choice but personal.
- 2:31:50So you chose.
- 2:31:52Now whether you were right or wrong, you had the freedom to choose. If you were born from above, you did.
- 2:31:57Now
- 2:31:58was it something that was producing evil or was just a doctrinal
- 2:32:03question?
- 2:32:04Of course, doctrine always produces evil, I suppose. No. There were there were things
- 2:32:09Unknown: as I got into the headquarters.
- 2:32:12Well, I went through their elite training four year
- 2:32:16thing.
- 2:32:18I had to confront
- 2:32:20leaders
- 2:32:21because I was just a peon, but I had to confront leaders. I had to administer to people
- 2:32:28who were abused by leaders.
- 2:32:30And then as I got to the top
- 2:32:32of this thing being,
- 2:32:35like I say,
- 2:32:36the pet,
- 2:32:37my I was in a gospel quartet.
- 2:32:40So this was the founder's idea.
- 2:32:43He did it. I went through a contest. I won
- 2:32:48a
- 2:32:49part, as a quartet.
- 2:32:51And,
- 2:32:53so as I got up there,
- 2:32:55attacks
- 2:32:56upon me,
- 2:32:59fabricated happened,
- 2:33:01and
- 2:33:03I knew all the wives of the founders
- 2:33:06and all this stuff. And
- 2:33:08Mhmm. So the evil presented itself
- 2:33:13to me
- 2:33:15because
- 2:33:16my
- 2:33:17allegiance was to my heavenly father and
- 2:33:20savior.
- 2:33:22So Mhmm. It wasn't
- 2:33:25hard to see it,
- 2:33:27but
- 2:33:28so many sheep
- 2:33:31just went along and yes,
- 2:33:33man, and all this. So it was Mhmm. Rather complicated.
- 2:33:38There was I mean, they
- 2:33:40there the the
- 2:33:43top men,
- 2:33:44not only of at the headquarters,
- 2:33:47but at in every state,
- 2:33:50they were raping women.
- 2:33:52Unknown: And and Okay. What created That's what I wanted that's
- 2:33:55what I wanted you to get to because I knew if they're here I was
- 2:33:58I made this point. If there's false doctrine,
- 2:34:01false religion has its perversion of sex, it's gonna come to that.
- 2:34:06And there are many different kinds. And so But so you saw it and your situation was kinda like go ahead. Go ahead. You're Go Go ahead and say it. Sorry. Well,
- 2:34:14Unknown: I'll just finish. You know? So they even it was so bad
- 2:34:18that they hired an obstetrician
- 2:34:21to deliver
- 2:34:22the babies
- 2:34:24so that nobody would know. It was That's insane. You know, attempted murders,
- 2:34:30all this stuff.
- 2:34:31Unknown: Yeah. Yeah.
- 2:34:33Unknown: Not a new got away from that, buddy. Yeah. Were you gonna say something, Robbie? No. I was gonna say glad Doug got away from that. We, we we I labeled Doug years ago the man of few words. Well
- 2:34:46Unknown: yeah. No. I get your point. Became a defender. I became a defender of the scripture of of my
- 2:34:53savior and my god Mhmm. In this thing. There was just Oh, yeah. You know, these
- 2:35:00truths And your story. That is this, you cannot
- 2:35:05no. Of course not. But these truths,
- 2:35:09they are they they cannot be
- 2:35:12our well, our father, love him with all your heart above everything else.
- 2:35:17So if that is living
- 2:35:19in a man or woman's heart,
- 2:35:22when you see
- 2:35:23debauchery
- 2:35:24or any other type of lie
- 2:35:27thing being done,
- 2:35:29we have no choice but to stand against it. So there's no fear.
- 2:35:33There's no fear there because
- 2:35:35we know our allegiance. We know what we're
- 2:35:39standing for,
- 2:35:40and it's the truth.
- 2:35:42And he who is the truth.
- 2:35:44Go ahead. We try and do the whole time here, Doug. Appreciate
- 2:35:48Unknown: it. Thank you. Roger. Doug Stokesville, one of the old time listeners. He's been around here. Yeah. Now as I like to say since old Blue was a pup. Yeah.
- 2:35:59So, anyway, Brent, I don't know about you. I didn't have any eggs this morning, so I didn't have I'm making eggs right now, Roger. Oh, yeah. But I'm gonna have Yeah. Yeah. Gotta go to the stove, a tienda,
- 2:36:09and, buy some. Okay. So and other things too and,
- 2:36:14whatnot, but all always thank you for being with us and hanging around and just that and the other.
- 2:36:22Busy guy, mister Brent Winthers,
- 2:36:24and, we appreciate him. So we'll look forward to seeing you next week and anticipating that. And there's no telling. I know we're we got about a month,
- 2:36:35maybe five weeks of really tumultuous
- 2:36:39activity,
- 2:36:41it appears.
- 2:36:42Unknown: Yes. And I'll leave it with this then.
- 2:36:45My biblical point of view, everything that's happening
- 2:36:48over,
- 2:36:49with Israel and the Palestinians
- 2:36:52and Iran,
- 2:36:53this is all
- 2:36:55all because of religious points of view. Religious points of view. Yep. The
- 2:37:01Unknown: Iranians are killing people because of their religion. They Don't forget about the Ukrainians. Them and the Russians are up there too. I think Putin's about to unleash on on them.
- 2:37:12Mhmm. It's what it appears.
- 2:37:14So, anyway, well, if it happens, then we'll talk about it next week if it's worth talking about. If not, we'll just take these
- 2:37:21spiritual lessons from Brent and take us back. You know, that was for the audience. That was the original meaning of, like, talk about ruminating.
- 2:37:29Because in the early days, Brent and I were on in the afternoon. It used to be afternoon drive.
- 2:37:35That was Friday afternoon to lay out things like, we want you to ruminate on this over the weekend if you've got your mind settled and whatever. So that was the original intent. We just moved the show forward a little bit. So And ruminates the Latin ruminates the Latin word for chew the cut. Yes. Yes. That's all that is. Yeah. Yep. Okay. Thank you. Alright. Thank you, Brent. We'll see you next week. Everybody else love you. May see you tomorrow. May see you soon. Whichever, we'll look forward to it.
- 2:38:02Unknown: Okay.
- 2:38:04Thanks, Brent. Thank you. Thanks, Paul.
- 2:38:10Unknown: Thanks, Paul's kitty.
- 2:38:12Ciao.
- 2:38:16Unknown: Bye bye.
- 2:38:26Unknown: Thank you, Larry.
- 2:38:28Again,
- 2:38:29your question
- 2:38:31answered itself.
- 2:39:06Unknown: If there's anybody there
- 2:39:09that could lead
- 2:39:12me to how to donate
- 2:39:14the Paul Beaner's
- 2:39:16expedition,
- 2:39:19could you tell me what that is? Because I was going through some shows this morning trying to find the specific instructions
- 2:39:27when I had a pen and paper
- 2:39:29in my hand.
- 2:39:37Unknown: Do you have
- 2:39:39Cash App?
- 2:39:43Unknown: Cash App? Okay. I don't have that, but go ahead. Okay.
- 2:39:49Unknown: Do you have Venmo?
- 2:39:54Unknown: Venmo? Venmo,
- 2:39:56Unknown: v e n m o.
- 2:40:01Unknown: I might have that. Okay. K.
- 2:40:05And if I don't don't
- 2:40:14Unknown: do you have a debit card?
- 2:40:17Yes. Yes. Okay. You can go straight to the matrix stocks.
