- 0:08Suze: August 16th, what do you got for us, KT?
- 0:11KT: 2026.
- 0:14Suze: That's right.
- 0:15KT: Let's not forget the year, and this has been quite
- 0:19KT: the year so far. We just returned from a fantastic
- 0:23KT: road trip, one of the best ever, and Suze and
- 0:26KT: I have had this on our bucket list for quite
- 0:29KT: some time.
- 0:30KT: I've always wanted to see the great redwoods in Northern California.
- 0:35Suze: She has bugged me about it, bugged me about it,
- 0:37Suze: bugged me about it. We lived in San Francisco forever. Suze,
- 0:40Suze: let's go see the redwoods, and for some reason...
- 0:43KT: We never went past Napa. So finally we actually started
- 0:47KT: in Oregon and drove south. It was great.
- 0:52KT: And Suze and I did everything. Oh yeah, we, we
- 0:57KT: arrive and they gave us a choice of vehicles, and
- 0:59KT: I don't like big SUVs. I'm a little short and
- 1:02KT: I always have to jump...
- 1:04Suze: Do you think you're a little short?
- 1:04KT: I have to always jump up and slide down.
- 1:07Suze: Wait, before we go further, I have to make a
- 1:09Suze: comment about KT being short. My mama was only like 5... 4'8.
- 1:16Suze: She was very small. KT's 5'2.
- 1:20Suze: And I'll never forget my mother looking at KT and say, KT,
- 1:24Suze: I used to be tall like you! Anyway, go on, KT.
- 1:28Suze: I just had to tell that story. Go on,
- 1:30KT: We had the best time first of all just to
- 1:33KT: be in that North Pacific air and the clean, clean,
- 1:38KT: clean mountains was just magnificent, but Suze did a couple
- 1:42KT: of things I never expected.
- 1:44Suze: Nor did I.
- 1:44KT: She climbed the dunes in Oregon, so my sister lives
- 1:50KT: there and we visited her and we went to the
- 1:52KT: Oregon dunes and Barbara literally thought she'd have to pull
- 1:56KT: Suze up the dune but she did not.
- 1:59Suze: Actually nobody ever thought I would even attempt.
- 2:03KT: Not even attempt, so we, we did everything we went
- 2:07KT: and got crabs and oysters and we climbed the dunes
- 2:11KT: we hiked to the lake...
- 2:12Suze: Bu the great thing is we drove ourselves.
- 2:16Suze: We stayed in little cabins that were so great. We
- 2:20Suze: went through the redwoods, which were fabulous. We went through
- 2:24Suze: a tree that really wasn't the tree we thought we
- 2:26Suze: wanted to go through. You should look on the Women
- 2:29Suze: and Money community app
- 2:30KT: We had fun in our little Bronco. The Bronco was great.
- 2:34Suze: And we fell in love with the Bronco, fell in
- 2:38Suze: love with it. But anyway, we had a great time
- 2:41Suze: and now we are back.
- 2:44Suze: So a few things though...
- 2:46KT: Can't wait to do another road trip.
- 2:48Suze: I know she's into it, everybody. She's so into it.
- 2:51Suze: So a few things about a trip just in case
- 2:54Suze: you want to take a little trip or you happen
- 2:56Suze: to be in the area on October 3rd and 4th
- 3:01Suze: in Glendale, California at the Alex Theater.
- 3:06Suze: There is a two-day wonderful workshop with 16 of Hay
- 3:12Suze: House's favorite authors, that includes me, by the way, and
- 3:17Suze: I will be giving the closing keynote on October 4th,
- 3:21Suze: but you should all seriously check it out. Doctor Mindy
- 3:25Suze: Peltz will be there. Doctor Christine Northrop, Brendon
- 3:29Suze: Bouchard, Cheryl Richardson, so many incredible people. And if you're
- 3:33Suze: in that area, you should really attend for those two days. Again,
- 3:39Suze: all you have to do is go to Suze Orman.com/empower,
- 3:46Suze: E M P O W E R, and just check
- 3:49Suze: it out. And even if you can't physically attend, I
- 3:53Suze: think they're gonna be streaming or doing things like that.
- 3:56Suze: So just go there and see what you find. I'm
- 4:01Suze: actually kind of excited to do that.
- 4:02KT: I know, but we have to tell them that this
- 4:04KT: is also in honor of Louise Hay's 100th birthday. Louise
- 4:10KT: would have been 100 years old and for those of
- 4:14KT: you that have never met her, Susie and I always
- 4:17KT: said this was one of the highlight of our lives,
- 4:20KT: to know Louise personally. She spent a number of wonderful
- 4:25KT: events and times with her.
- 4:26Suze: So check it out, everybody. So KT, I'm gonna do
- 4:30Suze: a Suze school today on the Stock market and all kinds
- 4:34Suze: of things like that that people wanna know anything you
- 4:37Suze: want to talk about?
- 4:38KT: Yeah, I received a fantastic email that I need to
- 4:42KT: share before you begin. This is really important and it
- 4:45KT: has to do with the Ultimate Scam and Identity Protection
- 4:49KT: program that Suze is really.
- 4:52KT: Asking all of you to look into and you can
- 4:55KT: also find that on Suze Orman.com, but I received this.
- 4:59KT: It said hi to the dynamic duo of KT and Susie.
- 5:03KT: I'm writing to thank you, Suze, for the referral to
- 5:06KT: CoverOn Cyber Coverage, and that's the Ultimate Scam and Identity Protection program, everyone.
- 5:13KT: My 90 year old dad was recently the victim of
- 5:16KT: identity theft. The thieves were incredibly persistent. They attempted to
- 5:23KT: access his bank accounts and credit cards and even tried
- 5:26KT: to get into the deed to his house.
- 5:30KT: Thankfully no money or property was lost. With CoverOn's guidance
- 5:35KT: we were able to navigate the whole mess and protect him.
- 5:39KT: I honestly could not have dealt with this situation without
- 5:43KT: their help. So thank you, Suze. That's a big bold
- 5:47KT: shout out, by the way, Suze.
- 5:49KT: That recommendation was a lifesaver.
- 5:52Suze: I love that. You know, I just have to, since
- 5:54Suze: you brought that up, KT, update everybody on some of
- 5:58Suze: the changes in the Ultimate Scam and Identity Protection program. So it really is
- 6:06Suze: two and one. It's not just scam protection. It's not
- 6:10Suze: just identity theft protection. It is both. However, we have
- 6:15Suze: added to it...
- 6:17Suze: The title insurance up to $100,000 to protect your home,
- 6:24Suze: your deed, in case somebody tries to steal it, or
- 6:27Suze: if they did, we now have added that just so
- 6:31Suze: you know, also, it is $2 million of identity theft protection.
- 6:37Suze: And what I'd like to ask all of you to
- 6:40Suze: do is to go to Suze Orman.com, look at this program,
- 6:45Suze: and scroll down and look at the comparison between this
- 6:51Suze: program and all the others that are out there. It's
- 6:54Suze: right there if you go there and you'd click on it,
- 6:57Suze: and you'll see that this Ultimate Scam and Identity Protection program from CoverOn.
- 7:04Suze: In my opinion, is the best you can get anywhere.
- 7:09Suze: Now you have to know I bought it myself. KT
- 7:12Suze: has it, right? But you know, so I had to
- 7:15Suze: pay for it. So if I'm paying for it and
- 7:19Suze: I have it to protect what we have, what I have,
- 7:22Suze: what KT has, you should too.
- 7:25Suze: Also, there's a rumor that sooner than later, they're gonna
- 7:28Suze: come out with a family plan as well, so stick
- 7:32Suze: with us. Now, for those of you who already bought it,
- 7:35Suze: don't worry, all these updates are just added to your program,
- 7:41Suze: so it's not like you have to buy more or
- 7:43Suze: do something like that again.
- 7:44Suze: $95.88. I am telling you, it is worth its weight
- 7:50Suze: in gold. So, check it out and get it, everybody.
- 7:54Suze: You know what's so sad, KT is that identity theft
- 7:58Suze: is no longer what everybody needs truthfully, they need identity
- 8:03Suze: theft and scam protection because the people don't even care
- 8:07Suze: about stealing your identity anymore. They care about stealing your money.
- 8:12Suze: And this is one of the only programs that if
- 8:15Suze: they do steal your money or if you fall victim
- 8:17Suze: to an online scam, CoverOn will return up to $100,000.
- 8:24Suze: No other program out there does it, so...
- 8:27Suze: I'm so happy.
- 8:28KT: So it's like cyber insurance.
- 8:30Suze: It's everything. You have to check it out, everybody.
- 8:33KT: One more thing, Suze!
- 8:34Suze: And what could that be? I have a feeling.
- 8:36KT: Feliz Cumpleaños, Colo.
- 8:39Suze: Oh, Colo, Colo. It's his birthday tomorrow. Everybody, he's, can
- 8:44Suze: you believe he's gonna be 47?
- 8:46KT: No, no, no, don't tell me he's still a young man.
- 8:49Suze: He's your baby boy.
- 8:50KT: He's our baby boy, and Colo, we just wanna wish
- 8:54KT: you the happiest, happiest day of your life. We wish
- 8:58KT: we were there. We wish we were celebrating with you,
- 9:01KT: but you're in our heart forever and you have your
- 9:04KT: Annie who will probably make you a fabulous big birthday cake.
- 9:09Suze: But Colo, seriously, you, we talk to you all the time.
- 9:14Suze: You know how much we love you, but tomorrow is
- 9:17Suze: always a special, special day in our life because that
- 9:22Suze: was the day you were born and you brought with
- 9:26Suze: you such joy, such everything. I mean...
- 9:30KT: Happiness, happiness.
- 9:31Suze: Have you ever met a better person in your life
- 9:33Suze: than Colo?
- 9:33KT: Never... maybe you.
- 9:36Suze: No, not even me. So Colo from KT and I...
- 9:40KT: Feliz Cumpleaños
- 9:42Suze: Colo, we love you so very, very much.
- 9:46Suze: So what are you gonna do now, KT?
- 9:48KT: I'm getting ready to launch our boat and go for
- 9:51KT: a little boat ride.
- 9:53Suze: You are?
- 9:54KT: And you're coming with me as soon as you're done
- 9:56KT: with Suze School.
- 9:58Suze: I am?
- 9:59KT: Yeah.
- 10:00Suze: Don't you think you should have told me?
- 10:02KT: No, we're just going for a little ride, make sure
- 10:04KT: everything's working fine. Might drop a line or two, everybody.
- 10:08KT: But we're gonna go for a ride, so get on
- 10:10KT: with your Suze school so we can launch.
- 10:12Suze: All right, my dear.
- 10:14KT: Have fun, everybody. Listen up. She has a lot of
- 10:17KT: good news.
- 10:20Suze: And there she goes. All right, the truth is we
- 10:22Suze: had the best time ever, ever, and we can't wait
- 10:27Suze: to do something like that again. All right, Suze School
- 10:32Suze: is now in session, so take out your little Suze
- 10:36Suze: notebooks cause I'm telling you, you're going to want to
- 10:39Suze: write down certain things that I am telling you today.
- 10:46Suze: Now, over the week that we were gone,
- 10:50Suze: the markets really did kind of a turnaround, and in truth,
- 10:54Suze: the markets have gone up so much and a lot
- 10:57Suze: of you now are writing saying, did I miss it?
- 11:00Suze: Should I still be putting money in? Is everything too expensive?
- 11:05Suze: Should I be taking money out? What in the world
- 11:08Suze: am I supposed to do, Suze?
- 11:10Suze: So today, I just want you to have a very
- 11:13Suze: easy understanding of what's happening, so you can make decisions
- 11:18Suze: from a position of strength rather than fear. So here
- 11:24Suze: we go. First of all, I have to tell you,
- 11:27Suze: I like what I am seeing in the overall stock market.
- 11:32Suze: Put a pin in that for one second.
- 11:35Suze: I have a question for all of you. Did you,
- 11:39Suze: in fact, as this market was going down, as semiconductors
- 11:44Suze: were getting obliterated, while all the stocks that I was
- 11:47Suze: telling you I loved were going down and down and down,
- 11:52Suze: were you dollar cost averaging into them? Were you?
- 11:57Suze: Or did you lose faith and were you almost at
- 12:00Suze: the point where you were at, I have to sell,
- 12:02Suze: I can't do this anymore. Oh my God, I'm losing
- 12:05Suze: my profits. I made money and now it's going away
- 12:08Suze: and now I don't know what to do. Were you
- 12:11Suze: dollar cost averaging, or did you freeze? Because if you
- 12:18Suze: froze because markets were going down, your stocks, your ETFs
- 12:22Suze: were going down.
- 12:24Suze: You lost out on one of the greatest opportunities that
- 12:28Suze: were out there at the time. I keep telling you,
- 12:32Suze: when stocks are good, ETFs are good, even if the
- 12:37Suze: markets themselves are going down and then everything's kind of
- 12:41Suze: going down.
- 12:43Suze: That is your chance to buy more shares, which is
- 12:46Suze: why I am such an advocate in good markets and
- 12:50Suze: bad markets of dollar cost averaging.
- 12:55Suze: But a lot of you just freeze and you don't
- 12:59Suze: do anything. So, hopefully you did not make that mistake.
- 13:05Suze: What am I seeing in the overall market? I like
- 13:09Suze: what I'm seeing. I really do. Listen, the Standard and
- 13:13Suze: Poor's 500, in my opinion, is in a very strong position.
- 13:19Suze: So near term, believe it or not, I think it
- 13:22Suze: can move towards 8,000. Now it closed on Friday at 7,785.
- 13:32Suze: I still think it has room to go and trust me,
- 13:35Suze: you're gonna think I've really lost it here, but if
- 13:39Suze: it breaks out, it really could break out, meaning it
- 13:43Suze: just goes for it, it goes above 8,000.
- 13:46Suze: You never know, it could break out to a brand
- 13:50Suze: new high and stay above it, and it has the potential, really,
- 13:54Suze: in my opinion, again, of reaching 9,000. Now, I remember
- 13:59Suze: a year or two ago, we were saying, oh well,
- 14:01Suze: maybe it will reach 7,000 when it was like 5,000
- 14:05Suze: and 6,000 and everybody was like, really?
- 14:08Suze: So, this market is stronger than we think it is,
- 14:13Suze: and it's showing us that right now. Again, put a
- 14:16Suze: pin in this for a second.
- 14:18Suze: So many people out there are so negative right now,
- 14:23Suze: and they are scaring you. They are saying to you,
- 14:26Suze: we are in an AI bubble. They are saying to
- 14:29Suze: you there's too much debt, which there is, but there's
- 14:32Suze: too much debt, there's this, there's that. Be careful. If
- 14:36Suze: it crashes, everything's gonna go down. It's gonna be worse
- 14:39Suze: than 1929, and they are scaring you out of your minds.
- 14:45Suze: I'm asking you to keep your cool.
- 14:49Suze: To just keep dollar cost averaging, to maybe take some
- 14:53Suze: free trades when your stock has doubled, maybe you take
- 14:56Suze: some money off the table, you do things like that,
- 15:00Suze: but you have to just keep going, especially right now.
- 15:07Suze: So why do I think it's so strong right now,
- 15:11Suze: the market? What's changed? What's changed in it, and this
- 15:15Suze: is important to everybody.
- 15:17Suze: It isn't only a few enormous technology companies that are
- 15:22Suze: taking the entire market higher anymore. That is a big deal.
- 15:28Suze: Do you understand that? We're seeing small companies participate, we're
- 15:33Suze: seeing value stocks participate. Do you remember a little bit
- 15:36Suze: ago I said I liked value stocks? We're seeing the
- 15:39Suze: equal weighted S&P participated, remember?
- 15:43Suze: RSP, I told you we might want to think about
- 15:46Suze: going into that ETF, which simply means that instead of
- 15:50Suze: a few giant companies, those big mag sevens, whatever, having
- 15:55Suze: most of the influence, every company in the index.
- 16:00Suze: Is essentially participating on some level. We're also, by the way,
- 16:06Suze: seeing strength outside the United States, which includes Europe and Japan.
- 16:13Suze: Now you have to ask, Suze, why do you care
- 16:16Suze: about that? Because when more and more areas of the
- 16:20Suze: market are participating, that's normally a healthier sign than when
- 16:25Suze: five or six companies are doing all the work, right?
- 16:30Suze: You gotta get that. So, I want you to listen
- 16:33Suze: very closely, because many of you really have abandoned many
- 16:40Suze: of the companies, the semiconductors, and everything that went down,
- 16:44Suze: and I have to tell you,
- 16:46Suze: I still love semiconductors, the chips that power everybody, artificial intelligence,
- 16:54Suze: the data centers, the computers, and so much of the
- 16:58Suze: technology that is changing the world right before our very eyes.
- 17:02Suze: I still love them, and a lot of you have
- 17:05Suze: written me and said, I sold, I got out, I
- 17:08Suze: had enough, I can't take it anymore.
- 17:11Suze: But I really believe that one of the best places
- 17:15Suze: for new money right now, as well as keeping your
- 17:18Suze: money there, are semiconductors, and why do I think that?
- 17:25Suze: Because they pulled back. They went back so much, I
- 17:30Suze: can't even tell you. And it was like, oh my God,
- 17:33Suze: oh my God, oh my God. But that was when
- 17:36Suze: you're saying, oh my God, you should be dollar cost
- 17:40Suze: averaging into them,
- 17:41Suze: and buying more. SMH was one of my favorite exchange
- 17:46Suze: traded funds. Do you remember that?
- 17:50Suze: Now, I do believe that leadership is coming back to
- 17:54Suze: this group. You just have to know that. And I
- 17:58Suze: believe the semiconductor index itself can eventually make a new
- 18:03Suze: all-time high, and that again is SMH for an ETF.
- 18:09Suze: But here's something else I just want to tell you
- 18:11Suze: that I find fascinating.
- 18:13Suze: For years, industrial machinery companies, companies, you know, that actually
- 18:19Suze: make the equipment used to build things, have often moved
- 18:23Suze: very closely with semiconductor companies, and when you really think
- 18:29Suze: about it, that makes sense, right? Artificial intelligence doesn't just
- 18:34Suze: magically live somewhere in the cloud.
- 18:37Suze: AI needs chips. It needs data centers. Those data centers
- 18:42Suze: need enormous amounts of electricity. They need cooling, they need construction,
- 18:46Suze: they need machinery. They need an entire infrastructure built around them.
- 18:52Suze: So when I see strength returning to like a major
- 18:56Suze: industrial machinery companies at the same time that I see
- 19:02Suze: opportunity in semiconductors, which are AI memory chips and power infrastructures.
- 19:08Suze: I have to tell you, I pay attention to that
- 19:11Suze: because it's all connected, it just is.
- 19:16Suze: I like this area a lot. I still think you
- 19:20Suze: should be investing in it. If you were to ask me, Suze,
- 19:24Suze: what is your number one favorite place to be investing
- 19:27Suze: right now, it would be semiconductors. It would be Nvidia,
- 19:32Suze: it would be SMH. It would be those stocks, the
- 19:37Suze: Magnificent Seven again. It would be those all over again,
- 19:42Suze: just so you know.
- 19:45Suze: Now, dollar cost average, take it slowly, but hopefully you
- 19:49Suze: also took advantage when those stocks got obliterated just a
- 19:55Suze: little bit ago. Now I want to go halfway around
- 19:58Suze: the world for a moment.
- 20:00Suze: Right? Because there's two enormous semiconductor companies that were cut
- 20:06Suze: in half this past July, that I have to tell you,
- 20:10Suze: I really, really like. Samsung is one, but another one.
- 20:16Suze: And I think we put out a tip sheet that
- 20:20Suze: was going out to all the people that were part
- 20:22Suze: of the webinar, and little by little you'll be getting it.
- 20:25Suze: And one of my favorites that I put on there
- 20:29Suze: is a stock by the name of SK Hynix symbol
- 20:35Suze: is SKHY.
- 20:39Suze: Now, it's had a little bit of a run lately,
- 20:42Suze: but I still like that stock a lot. So, if
- 20:46Suze: you're looking for a new stock or a new place
- 20:48Suze: to put money, little by little, you might want to
- 20:51Suze: take advantage of that. Now, let me go back for
- 20:55Suze: a second to the Magnificent Seven, since I just happened
- 20:59Suze: to talk about them.
- 21:01Suze: The one that I like the most right now is Nvidia.
- 21:06Suze: I know everybody thinks Nvidia is over, but Nvidia, in
- 21:11Suze: my opinion again, is uniquely positioned. If money continues rotating
- 21:17Suze: back into the semiconductors, I think it's going to go there.
- 21:21Suze: The next one, believe it or not, for me, is Google.
- 21:25Suze: And what's fascinating about Google right now is that from
- 21:29Suze: just a pure market standpoint, it has actually been trading
- 21:34Suze: more like a semiconductor stock than a traditional technology stock. Now,
- 21:40Suze: you know, I love Apple. I told you it was
- 21:43Suze: my number one pick. I also love Amazon, but I
- 21:47Suze: just want to tell you, I'm a little bit more
- 21:49Suze: cautious with those two stocks. Why?
- 21:52Suze: 'Cause they've had tremendous moves, and now they're running into
- 21:57Suze: what I taught you about a long time ago, something
- 22:00Suze: that we call resistance. Remember, I, I've always given you
- 22:04Suze: that example that you're on a ladder, and you get
- 22:09Suze: up to the very top of the ceiling.
- 22:12Suze: And the ceiling is resistance. Now, when a stock gets
- 22:17Suze: to a ceiling for some reason, a lot of sellers
- 22:21Suze: come in and they start to sell it. Little by
- 22:25Suze: little they start to sell it, but eventually that stock
- 22:31Suze: may break through the ceiling through resistance, and when it does,
- 22:36Suze: I have to tell you.
- 22:39Suze: Then it starts to go. However, if that happens, you
- 22:42Suze: still have to be careful. So, I don't want you
- 22:46Suze: to chase Apple or Amazon simply because everybody else suddenly
- 22:51Suze: wants them. I want you to dollar cost average little
- 22:55Suze: by little into those stocks, because I still like them
- 22:59Suze: a lot.
- 23:00Suze: Now, a little bit ago, I told you as well
- 23:05Suze: that I liked value stocks better than growth stocks. Well,
- 23:10Suze: guess what? Now I'm liking growth stocks again better than
- 23:15Suze: value stocks. So what's the difference in case you don't
- 23:19Suze: know what I even mean by that? A growth stock
- 23:23Suze: is a company where investors believe the earnings and revenues
- 23:27Suze: can increase faster than the average company.
- 23:32Suze: And growth stocks are like technology, artificial intelligence, um, semiconductors, companies,
- 23:39Suze: where investors are essentially saying, hey, I believe this company
- 23:43Suze: is going to be worth a lot more in the future,
- 23:47Suze: because it can keep growing.
- 23:50Suze: And because investors expect all of that future growth, they're
- 23:55Suze: normally willing to pay more for that kind of stock.
- 23:59Suze: Got that? A value stock is very different. A value
- 24:03Suze: stock is usually a more established company that impairs, like
- 24:08Suze: inexpensive compared to what it earns, what it owns, or
- 24:12Suze: what investors believe the underlying business is actually worth. It
- 24:17Suze: has value to it.
- 24:20Suze: So here's how I want you to remember it. With
- 24:22Suze: a growth stock, you're often willing to pay more today
- 24:27Suze: because you're betting on what that company can become tomorrow.
- 24:32Suze: With a value stock, you're looking at today's price and saying,
- 24:37Suze: wait a minute, I think this company may already be
- 24:41Suze: worth more than the market is giving it credit for.
- 24:44Suze: And that's all. That's just the difference now, truthfully, neither
- 24:49Suze: one is automatically better. There are times when growth leads.
- 24:54Suze: There are times when value leads. In the past month
- 24:57Suze: or two or so when I said I like value,
- 25:00Suze: they were leading. Now I think growth is going to
- 25:05Suze: lead again over your lifetime. You just need to know
- 25:10Suze: that there absolutely is a role for both.
- 25:14Suze: But what I prefer right now in the shorter term,
- 25:18Suze: I prefer growth over value. Why? Because parts of the
- 25:24Suze: value market, when I was talking about it months ago,
- 25:27Suze: they have now become totally overbought and here's what I
- 25:32Suze: find so funny about it some gigantic companies that you
- 25:36Suze: don't necessarily think about when you hear the word value
- 25:40Suze: have had enormous moves on their own.
- 25:44Suze: So, you have to look at all of the stocks
- 25:48Suze: that you own, make sure you have both, but right now,
- 25:52Suze: if you're thinking about investing new money, more money, I
- 25:57Suze: would go more towards growth than value. I want to
- 26:02Suze: talk about healthcare here for a second because as you know,
- 26:06Suze: I have loved one healthcare ETF...
- 26:11Suze: And that's XBI. It's a biotech, and I like biotech
- 26:17Suze: on its own relative to other areas of health care.
- 26:21Suze: I just do. So if you don't have health care
- 26:25Suze: as part of your
- 26:26Suze: portfolio in terms of an ETF, I still think you
- 26:31Suze: can dollar cost average into XBI just that simple. There's
- 26:38Suze: lots of opportunity, everybody, in this market, and again I'm
- 26:43Suze: gonna repeat this. I especially like what I'm seeing in
- 26:47Suze: semiconductors and biotech. I want to address FITZ.
- 26:54Suze: The ETF FITZ, as well as his new ETF FIZY FIZY,
- 26:59Suze: which is an options play, you need to be patient.
- 27:05Suze: When an ETF just comes out, it has to settle in.
- 27:10Suze: A lot of those stocks will pay dividends for you,
- 27:13Suze: but they haven't paid them yet, so just stick with it.
- 27:18Suze: Um, both of those are going to be fine in
- 27:21Suze: the long run, and I know a lot of you
- 27:24Suze: were probably disheartened because it didn't go up right away.
- 27:28Suze: Are you kidding me?
- 27:30Suze: As you need to know, things don't go up right
- 27:34Suze: away when they come out, they just don't. But little
- 27:38Suze: by little, FITZ is coming up. It's above now where
- 27:43Suze: many of you probably purchased it at.
- 27:46Suze: Just stick with it in the long run and shortly
- 27:50Suze: I will have Fitzy on again to talk about it
- 27:54Suze: so you can understand what's going on there and what
- 27:57Suze: he believes is happening in these markets. So there is
- 28:04Suze: opportunity out there, everybody, however,
- 28:09Suze: Opportunity just doesn't mean that you throw caution out the
- 28:12Suze: window and chase whatever went up the most yesterday, do
- 28:16Suze: you hear me? Some of the names everybody loves have
- 28:20Suze: simply gone too far, too fast, and this is where
- 28:25Suze: investing becomes emotional, because when something keeps going up, every
- 28:29Suze: instinct inside of you says, buy it before I miss it. No.
- 28:34Suze: When something you own goes down, every instinct says sell
- 28:39Suze: it before I lose more. No, but successful investing, listen,
- 28:45Suze: requires you to do exactly the opposite of what your
- 28:49Suze: emotions are screaming at you to do.
- 28:53Suze: You don't chase strength simply because everybody is talking about it.
- 28:58Suze: You look for weakness in fundamentally strong areas where the
- 29:03Suze: long term story is still intact. So I need you
- 29:08Suze: all to remember this. Just because a stock has gone
- 29:11Suze: up does not mean it is safe. And just because
- 29:15Suze: a stock has gone down does not mean it's dangerous.
- 29:18Suze: Price and value, do you understand, are not the same thing.
- 29:23Suze: So, what is your job right now? Seriously, your job
- 29:28Suze: is to stay grounded.
- 29:30Suze: To stay diversified, to stay disciplined, to understand what you
- 29:36Suze: own and why you own it, and above all, never
- 29:41Suze: do you listen to me now, never allow fear or
- 29:44Suze: greed to make your financial decisions for you, because whether
- 29:49Suze: this market is being driven forward by the greatest technological
- 29:52Suze: revolution of our lifetime are being constrained by the largest
- 29:57Suze: debt burden of our lifetime. One fundamental truth has not changed.
- 30:04Suze: You don't build wealth by reacting emotionally.
- 30:09Suze: I want you to write this down. You build wealth
- 30:13Suze: by making intelligent decisions and having the courage to stick
- 30:18Suze: with them to dollar cost average.
- 30:23Suze: To only make moves that do make you feel secure.
- 30:27Suze: You can do that.
- 30:29Suze: But you have to stay in this game that we
- 30:33Suze: call investing.
- 30:35Suze: In up markets, and down markets, with rumors, with not rumors,
- 30:40Suze: whatever it may be, in the long run for you
- 30:44Suze: to be OK again, if you have at least five
- 30:47Suze: or ten years or longer till you need the money,
- 30:50Suze: the greatest things that can happen is when the markets
- 30:53Suze: go down. Please remember 2007, 2008. Those were some of
- 30:58Suze: the greatest opportunities of buying stock in your lifetime.
- 31:03Suze: 2022, the exact same thing. Just remember certain things and
- 31:09Suze: just keep consistent. Consistency, and good quality ETFs, stocks, and
- 31:18Suze: those things, fabulous.
- 31:21Suze: So, that's your Suze School for today. So until next week,
- 31:28Suze: there's only one thing that I want you to remember
- 31:30Suze: when it comes to your money, and it is this
- 31:32Suze: people first, then money, then things. Now you stay safe.
- 31:38Suze: Bye bye.
