Summer camps provide respite for Israeli youth displaced by war
For many youth, a summer camp experience is a formative one. For youth displaced by the ongoing war, the framework can also provide one for healing, building resilience and reconnecting. This summer, it has partnered with local authorities to send thousands of youth evacuated from their homes to camp. Shawna Goodman, founder of Summer Camps Israel, spoke to KAN reporter Naomi Segal
