- 0:00Speaker 1: The woman was too stunned to speak. I'm sorry, I'm
- 0:02Speaker 1: taking someone to the poo-poo party court. Did I do
- 0:04Speaker 1: court back then? Because that is not all right. This
- 0:07Speaker 1: is not a drill. We are halfway to Halloween.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Halloween is cool. So I am giving you exactly what
- 0:14Speaker 2: you want. And we are reading real, true, horrifying Reddit stories.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Let's get into it. I grew up in a funeral home.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Helped out in the office.
- 0:23Speaker 2: When I was about 15, we got a call from
- 0:25Speaker 2: a man... whose wife and infant baby had been cancelled
- 0:29Speaker 2: in cold blood. There were very few clues, and it
- 0:32Speaker 2: made headlines. Cops set up surveillance at the viewing. It
- 0:35Speaker 2: was heartbreaking as the mother was holding the baby.
- 0:38Speaker 1: In her arms. I always hear that.
- 0:40Speaker 2: I always hear from funeral people that babies are the hardest.
- 0:43Speaker 2: If I died in childbirth, I'd want my baby in
- 0:45Speaker 2: my arms too. I was asked to take the flower
- 0:50Speaker 2: cards and periodically get the husband and ask if he
- 0:53Speaker 2: recognized the names. Then I photocopied them and put them back.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I did it because I was a kid. People knew
- 0:59Speaker 2: me and I was not obtrusive.
- 1:03Speaker 1: And abrusive? Define that, please.
- 1:05Speaker 2: I talked to the husband quite a bit and he
- 1:07Speaker 2: seemed devastated and shaken. As we expected. The cops told
- 1:11Speaker 2: me that they had an eyewitness to someone leaving the
- 1:14Speaker 2: house the day of the murder. The witness was a
- 1:16Speaker 2: three-year-old little girl. She recognized the man leaving. It was
- 1:20Speaker 2: the husband's best friend. Right to jail.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Right away.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Turns out that the friend and the husband had made
- 1:27Speaker 2: a pact to kill each other's families and run off
- 1:31Speaker 2: with their secretaries. The little girl identified the friend, and
- 1:36Speaker 2: I guess one of them cracked.
- 1:39Speaker 1: The p * * * wants what the p *
- 1:40Speaker 1: * * wants.
- 1:41Speaker 2: They both went to jail on multiple counts, all on
- 1:43Speaker 2: the testimony of.
- 1:45Speaker 1: A three-year-old girl.
- 1:46Speaker 2: I still cannot believe to this day that that man
- 1:49Speaker 2: stood right beside me. Multiple times, and I had no clue.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I don't think I ever looked at life the same
- 1:56Speaker 2: way after that.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Yeah, you wouldn't.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Being someone who has touched in the realm of the M-word... Yeah,
- 2:03Speaker 2: you're never the same. You never look at anyone the same,
- 2:05Speaker 2: you never trust anyone the same.
- 2:07Speaker 1: It is what it is. Probably for the best. Not
- 2:10Speaker 1: the murder. Looking at life differently.
- 2:12Speaker 2: The Cincinnati Privy Disaster of 1904. Although the morning paper
- 2:17Speaker 2: said it would be a fair, warming day, the horizon
- 2:20Speaker 2: darkened with looming rain. Principal Thomas L. Simmerman watched the
- 2:24Speaker 2: fidgeting children as they lined up in the hall and
- 2:26Speaker 2: decided to give them a few minutes of frolic and exercise.
- 2:30Speaker 2: A little rain wouldn't hurt them. At precisely 10.15 a.m.,
- 2:33Speaker 2: September 23, 1904, Zimmerman rang the bell to release the
- 2:37Speaker 2: students from the Pleasant Ridge School for morning recess and
- 2:41Speaker 2: watch them file outside. Caring little about the threatening skies,
- 2:44Speaker 2: the boys immediately started a game of baseball. The girls
- 2:48Speaker 2: scattered about the playground in smaller groups. Zimmerman had misjudged
- 2:52Speaker 2: the proximity of the approaching storm.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Only a few moments had passed.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Before the wind kicked up and the first scattered raindrops
- 2:59Speaker 2: started to fall. The ball game continued for another minute.
- 3:02Speaker 1: The girls huddled.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Together but didn't seek shelter until a sudden downpour caught
- 3:07Speaker 2: them off guard. The boys playing ball and most of
- 3:09Speaker 2: the girls ran for the school building. But some of
- 3:12Speaker 2: the girls, at least 30 of them, made a dash
- 3:15Speaker 2: for the outhouse on the other side of the playground.
- 3:18Speaker 1: The outhouse was.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Positioned over a 12-foot-deep stone vault and located on the
- 3:22Speaker 2: east side of Pleasant Ridge School. The building was 11
- 3:26Speaker 2: years old and had been repaired several times. Just a
- 3:29Speaker 2: year prior, the school had hired a carpenter to install
- 3:32Speaker 2: new seats and replaced the flooring and siding. The carpenter
- 3:35Speaker 2: presumed that the building was sound when he laid the
- 3:38Speaker 2: floor over the old one, which he did without inspecting
- 3:41Speaker 2: the joists. Great.
- 3:42Speaker 3: A huge thank you to Midas Merge for sponsoring today's video.

- 4:50Speaker 1: Thanks Midas for sponsoring today's show.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Let's get back to it.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Alishkor, 14, was among the girls to enter the privy.
- 4:57Speaker 2: When she saw how many girls were in, she tried
- 4:59Speaker 2: to squeeze into the small, smelly place. She had a
- 5:01Speaker 2: vision of a collapsing floor and tried to get out,
- 5:04Speaker 2: but the bottleneck on the side of the door pushed
- 5:07Speaker 2: her back inside. Twelve-year-old Hazel heard someone say, oh, what
- 5:11Speaker 2: if this would break down with us here? The words
- 5:14Speaker 2: had hardly come out of her mouth when something happened.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Hazel said, without the slightest groaning of the wood or
- 5:20Speaker 2: tremble of the floor, the joists on the side of
- 5:22Speaker 2: the building, sodden from years of moisture- In an instant,
- 5:27Speaker 2: the entire floor crashed to the bottom of the vault,
- 5:29Speaker 2: carrying with it a crowd of shocked and frightened girls.
- 5:33Speaker 2: There were at least 31 girls, maybe even 35, inside
- 5:36Speaker 2: the tiny room when the floor fell from underneath them.
- 5:40Speaker 2: The floor fell nearly 8 feet straight down and disintegrated,
- 5:44Speaker 2: churning with the children in a stone vault with a.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Pool of foul water flowing.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Feet deep. The children were as young as seven. In
- 5:52Speaker 2: the panic that ensued, it became a battle for life.
- 5:54Speaker 2: The girls unwittingly pitted against each other for survival as
- 5:57Speaker 2: they tried to climb out of the vault and into
- 5:59Speaker 2: the four-foot-deep pool of waste.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Oh, he just doesn't discuss that.
- 6:05Speaker 2: The weaker ones were crushed down by the stronger and
- 6:08Speaker 2: forced under the mass of filth.
- 6:10Speaker 1: To their death.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Simmerman wrote an account published in the Cincinnati Commercial Tribune,
- 6:19Speaker 2: No warning from the hysterical girls screaming in the rain
- 6:22Speaker 2: could have prepared Simmerman for what he was about to discover.
- 6:25Speaker 2: There was only one narrow door to the outhouse. A
- 6:28Speaker 2: dozen toilet seats were still attached to the three sides
- 6:31Speaker 2: of the wall, but there was no floor at all.
- 6:33Speaker 2: The sight of the girls, some of them scrambling to
- 6:35Speaker 2: the walls, others struggling to keep their heads above the
- 6:38Speaker 2: sinking waist, and nearly all of them screaming, help me,
- 6:41Speaker 2: save me, caused the principal to stagger back in almost vain.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Zimmerman quickly rallied himself, called out for a rope and ladders.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Then teachers leaped into action, but the stepladders from the
- 6:52Speaker 2: school were too short and the ropes were clotheslines that
- 6:55Speaker 2: proved to be as rotten as the piffy joists. Coroner
- 6:58Speaker 2: Weaver issued his verdict on October 19th, citing suffocation as
- 7:02Speaker 2: the cause of the nine deaths and declaring gross negligence
- 7:06Speaker 2: on the part of the Board of Education. No charges
- 7:09Speaker 2: were ever filed or indictments issued.
- 7:11Speaker 1: The woman was too stunned to speak.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm taking someone to the poo-poo party court.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Did I do court back then? Because that is not
- 7:17Speaker 1: all right. Next up, this one's about a morgue.
- 7:21Speaker 2: But that wasn't in the interview, was it? And then
- 7:23Speaker 2: you show up and they're like, this is Francis. You're
- 7:25Speaker 2: gonna roll Francis down the hall for his last little
- 7:29Speaker 2: walk of life.
- 7:30Speaker 1: That's a weird.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Way to look at it, but alright. There was only
- 7:50Speaker 2: one instance that spooked me so bad. My coworker and
- 7:53Speaker 2: I were given notice to move a body out and
- 7:56Speaker 2: clean up the room for its next occupant. We got
- 7:58Speaker 2: up there, got the woman's body out of the bed
- 8:01Speaker 2: and onto a gurney, and went around making sure that
- 8:04Speaker 2: the various apparati around the bed was dormant.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Nurse's job.
- 8:08Speaker 2: But we were always told to check. I go stand
- 8:10Speaker 2: at the foot of the gurney to direct it when
- 8:12Speaker 2: my co-worker squeaks.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Dude, she's awake. Can you imagine?
- 8:16Speaker 2: They're like, yeah, go take this dead person down.
- 8:18Speaker 1: And then they're just like, you want to party? That'd
- 8:21Speaker 1: be me. I'd wake up and I'd be like, whoa,
- 8:24Speaker 1: they sent me back. Shit.
- 8:27Speaker 2: The lady was blinking rapidly over freaky glassed over dead eyes.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Anyone who has seen a dead person eyes knows what
- 8:34Speaker 2: I'm talking about. There is clearly no life left in
- 8:37Speaker 2: the body. I can attest to that when my grandmother
- 8:40Speaker 2: died of pancreatic cancer.
- 8:41Speaker 1: That was wild.
- 8:43Speaker 2: You know they're gone. In that moment, you're like, we
- 8:46Speaker 2: are meat sacks. We both freaked out and screamed for
- 8:49Speaker 2: the nurses who came running. They called a code whatever,
- 8:52Speaker 2: thinking she might be waking up. My coworker and I
- 8:55Speaker 2: just backed up, flattened ourselves against.
- 8:57Speaker 1: The windows, and watched the ruckus. Amen. The woman was
- 9:01Speaker 1: stone dead.
- 9:02Speaker 2: No breathing, no heartbeat, no brain activity, nada. None of
- 9:06Speaker 2: the nurses or the doctor could tell us why the
- 9:09Speaker 2: woman was blinking several hours post-mortem. I'm wondering if it's
- 9:13Speaker 2: some kind of rigor mortis, some kind of nerve thing
- 9:16Speaker 2: in the body, but that's weird.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Other than that, nothing weird.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Has ever happened except for feeling like a bad person
- 9:23Speaker 2: because I was amused by a cardiac patient who passed
- 9:25Speaker 2: away from the effort of self-tickling.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I would have went home.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I would have been like, I need to go home
- 9:30Speaker 2: because I need to process what just happened because that just.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Opens a lot of questions about life and death. Great,
- 9:35Speaker 1: sounds fun.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Am I an asshole for being angry that my roommate
- 9:38Speaker 2: was sleeping under my bed for months without telling me?
- 9:41Speaker 2: I'm just gonna say no.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Immediately, you're not an asshole. That's, he's an asshole. That's weird.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Okay. I, 24 male, have lived with my roommate, Coral,
- 9:49Speaker 2: 24 male, for two years. A few months into rooming
- 9:52Speaker 2: with him, he told me he was pansexual.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I said, okay, cool.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I am not interested in that personal information, nor am
- 9:59Speaker 2: I judgmental.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I said, all right, all right.
- 10:02Speaker 2: A few times over the past year, he has asked
- 10:04Speaker 2: me if I have ever considered experimenting with other men.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I said, no.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Also, I said I didn't feel comfortable with him asking
- 10:12Speaker 2: me such a personal question.
- 10:13Speaker 1: It's not like we were close friends.
- 10:15Speaker 2: We were only roommates by happenstance. Anyway, every time I
- 10:19Speaker 2: said this, he basically said, we'll see.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I was like, what?
- 10:23Speaker 2: Anyways, last night I had such a horrifying experience. I
- 10:26Speaker 2: heard a noise under my bed.
- 10:28Speaker 1: It was a movement.
- 10:29Speaker 2: At first I thought it was imagining things, but then
- 10:32Speaker 2: I heard it again. I thought, oh God, it is
- 10:34Speaker 2: a mouse or a rat or some shit. My God,
- 10:37Speaker 2: this was like 3 a.m. So I got out of
- 10:38Speaker 2: bed and I looked under my bed with my phone off.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Now this was the most.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Startling moment of my life. There under my bed was
- 10:47Speaker 2: my roommate staring wide-eyed at me and he screeched when
- 10:52Speaker 2: I looked under the bed.
- 10:54Speaker 3: No! No!
- 10:55Speaker 2: I literally thought I was having a heart attack. I
- 10:57Speaker 2: then just started hearing, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. My
- 11:00Speaker 2: roommate crawled out from under the bed crying. I was
- 11:02Speaker 2: so creeped out and afraid that I ran out of
- 11:04Speaker 2: the apartment in my pajamas. There was a Dunkin' Donut
- 11:08Speaker 2: that was open 24-7 a couple blocks away from me,
- 11:11Speaker 2: so I just sat in there with a decaf and
- 11:13Speaker 2: a breakfast sandwich with my heart thundering away. My roommate
- 11:16Speaker 2: kept texting me, asking me to talk.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I ignored it.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Babe, you get your parents to go move you out,
- 11:21Speaker 2: and you never talk to that person again, okay?
- 11:22Speaker 1: Call the cops. It's really creepy. I don't know. Would
- 11:25Speaker 1: you call the cops? Would you call the cops?
- 11:27Speaker 2: In the text, he found a way to horrify me
- 11:30Speaker 2: even further. He confessed that he had been sleeping under
- 11:33Speaker 2: my bed for a few nights a week for three
- 11:35Speaker 2: or four months, and that he was doing it to
- 11:38Speaker 2: get closer to me and physically saturate each other. What
- 11:42Speaker 2: the fu- I waited for him to go to work
- 11:49Speaker 2: and I ran into the apartment, got my essentials and left.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I am currently crashing with a buddy. Our lease is
- 11:55Speaker 2: up in one month and my intention is to simply
- 11:58Speaker 2: not renew.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Ding!
- 12:00Speaker 2: This dude is blowing up my phone and I am
- 12:02Speaker 2: getting texts from other people. He is going around telling
- 12:04Speaker 2: people that I shamed him and that I'm rejecting his apologies.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Some people are claiming that I'm overreacting and invalidating his feelings.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Most people agree that he was improper, but that I
- 12:15Speaker 2: should work it out with him and give him a
- 12:16Speaker 2: second chance because he's sensitive. No, sorry, I'm not one
- 12:20Speaker 2: of those people. So am I an asshole or is
- 12:22Speaker 2: everyone around me a nut?
- 12:23Speaker 1: You're not the asshole.
- 12:25Speaker 2: As a pansexual person, I would like to say for
- 12:27Speaker 2: our group of people, though, no.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I'm so sorry, babe. That's gross. And horrifying.
- 12:33Speaker 2: This is under a Reddit thread called, Reddit, what's the
- 12:35Speaker 2: creepiest true story someone has ever told you?
- 12:38Speaker 1: Let's get into it.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Way back in the fifth grade or so, I discovered
- 12:41Speaker 2: a glorious Pokemon-themed chat room through the wonders of Yahoo.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Within this chat room, there were maybe 15 regulars, generally
- 12:48Speaker 2: between the ages of 12.
- 12:49Speaker 1: And 16 or so.
- 12:51Speaker 2: We had a great time role-playing various anime characters and storylines.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Anyway, I got to know a few people.
- 12:56Speaker 2: From there overall well enough to chat with them on AIM.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Is it A-I-M or AIM? That's before my time. Or
- 13:02Speaker 1: by phone.
- 13:03Speaker 2: And a few of those friendships lasted a good four
- 13:06Speaker 2: or five years. One of these guys was a little eccentric.
- 13:09Speaker 3: He.
- 13:10Speaker 1: loved creature monster models and stories.
- 13:13Speaker 2: He believed in things like chupacabras, which I thought was silly, but.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Didn't really care. He lived out in the boonies.
- 13:19Speaker 2: In some Midwestern state. After getting to know him pretty
- 13:21Speaker 2: well and having a good 100 hours of phone conversations
- 13:25Speaker 2: over the years, he finally revealed this lovely story.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 13:30Speaker 2: He told me that sometimes he would black out and
- 13:33Speaker 2: wake up to discover that he had or was still
- 13:36Speaker 2: in the process of hurting animals and children. When he
- 13:39Speaker 2: revealed this to me, I felt sick inside. I love animals,
- 13:43Speaker 2: and this information chilled me to the bone. It was
- 13:45Speaker 2: really hard for him to tell me this, and he
- 13:47Speaker 2: confided that I was one of the only people he
- 13:50Speaker 2: had ever been.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Able to tell. Then it got weird.
- 13:53Speaker 2: How does it get weirder? Someone in his family, or
- 13:56Speaker 2: maybe a family friend, decided that he must be possessed
- 13:58Speaker 2: by a demon, and that they had to perform an exorcism.
- 14:01Speaker 1: They did it at night, of course, in a.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Dark room lit by candles, and he was tied to
- 14:06Speaker 2: the bed because they didn't know how the demon would react.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I could hear his voice quivering, because he was so
- 14:12Speaker 2: emotional and terrified at this part of the story. He
- 14:14Speaker 2: said that they heard something hit the floor under the
- 14:17Speaker 2: bed when the demon left his body. Then something scrabbled
- 14:21Speaker 2: across the floor and out of the room into the darkness,
- 14:25Speaker 2: leaving claw marks on the wood floor. He was totally
- 14:29Speaker 2: and completely serious about this and how it cured him
- 14:32Speaker 2: and he didn't hurt things anymore. As any sane person
- 14:35Speaker 2: would do, I noped the f * * * right
- 14:38Speaker 2: out of that situation.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Yay men! I'm glad you noped out of that.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I'm really gonna hope this is someone just trolling you
- 14:43Speaker 2: on the internet because I just don't want to believe
- 14:44Speaker 2: that they were doing anything like that.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I just don't want to. How could you do that?
- 14:48Speaker 1: My HIV story.
- 14:49Speaker 3: What?
- 14:50Speaker 2: I was on a trip on my first commercial flight
- 14:53Speaker 2: to visit my girlfriend and I didn't feel well. Once
- 14:56Speaker 2: I got off the plane, I made it to the
- 14:58Speaker 2: hotel and had bouts of nausea and diarrhea for a
- 15:02Speaker 2: few days straight when I finally decided to go to
- 15:05Speaker 2: a hospital.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Baby, that's my everyday.
- 15:08Speaker 2: After waiting hours, I was let into a room and
- 15:10Speaker 2: sometime later, a woman wearing a mask.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And gloves entered. Please leave the room, she told my girlfriend.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Let's call her Beatrice.
- 15:17Speaker 2: No, she can stay.
- 15:18Speaker 1: It's okay, I said.
- 15:19Speaker 2: The doctor still hadn't looked at me, but looked back
- 15:22Speaker 2: to Beatrice.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I think you should leave.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I looked to Beatrice and said, can you please wait outside?
- 15:27Speaker 2: Right as the doctor closed the door, the doctor said,
- 15:29Speaker 2: you have HIV. My mind instantly started racing, trying to
- 15:33Speaker 2: problem solve. I can't have AIDS. I got tested before
- 15:36Speaker 2: being with Beatrice.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I was clean, I said.
- 15:38Speaker 2: The doctor again, you have HIV, while avoiding eye contact.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I looked at my palms for the first time in
- 15:43Speaker 2: my life. They were sweating, really sweating. I said again,
- 15:47Speaker 2: I can't. I've been tested. The doctor flipped a page
- 15:50Speaker 2: and asked my name, which I responded. And finally, the
- 15:52Speaker 2: doctor's contact made eyes with my own. I am so
- 15:55Speaker 2: sorry I have the wrong chart. You have strep throat
- 15:58Speaker 2: and laryngitis. I remember the world ending and then feeling
- 16:01Speaker 2: the most relief I've ever experienced in my life. When
- 16:04Speaker 2: I told Beatrice the whole story, she awkwardly laughed and said,
- 16:07Speaker 2: but you don't have AIDS, right? To this day, when
- 16:09Speaker 2: I tell people what happened, a good portion say, but
- 16:12Speaker 2: you don't have AIDS, right?
- 16:13Speaker 1: A whole lot of f * * * ing nope.
- 16:15Speaker 2: A terrifying but true story I experienced when I was 12.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I moved to my.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Dad's when I was 10 and didn't know anyone in
- 16:22Speaker 2: the area except for the family my dad's was friends with.
- 16:26Speaker 2: A single mom with three kids. Luckily, there was a
- 16:28Speaker 2: girl a couple years older than me. And we got
- 16:31Speaker 2: to know each other a little over a couple years.
- 16:34Speaker 2: We weren't close, but ended up having the same friends.
- 16:37Speaker 2: One night, my friend Rob was hanging out with her
- 16:39Speaker 2: and her younger brother. They happened to be in the
- 16:42Speaker 2: house alone because my friend's mom was at work. Which
- 16:45Speaker 2: is where this gets terrifying and sad. Her mother had
- 16:49Speaker 2: been helping this one lady through her work and had
- 16:52Speaker 2: gotten to know her fairly well. She found out her
- 16:55Speaker 2: sister was in a mental institution and was let out recently.
- 16:59Speaker 2: The night Rob was hanging out with my friend, they
- 17:01Speaker 2: got a knock on the door. My friend thought it
- 17:04Speaker 2: was just their mom. She knocks a certain way when
- 17:06Speaker 2: coming in and answered it without thinking. Rob wasn't supposed
- 17:10Speaker 2: to be there and he took off through the window
- 17:12Speaker 2: to his house down the road. He never thought about
- 17:15Speaker 2: it twice. It wasn't her mom. It was the sister
- 17:18Speaker 2: of the lady her mom was helping. And she figured
- 17:21Speaker 2: out through talking to her sister where the family lived
- 17:24Speaker 2: and her mom's working schedule.
- 17:26Speaker 1: She came in.
- 17:27Speaker 2: And this is where I don't know details, but I'm
- 17:30Speaker 2: glad I don't. My friend's younger brother got away to
- 17:33Speaker 2: the neighbors to call the police. The lady brutally cancelled
- 17:37Speaker 2: my friend a week from Christmas. Deca- her and left
- 17:41Speaker 2: her body new kid in the bathtub and hit her
- 17:44Speaker 2: head they had to look through the presence and i
- 17:47Speaker 2: don't know where they found it but they did i
- 17:50Speaker 2: was not allowed to go to her funeral that reminds
- 17:53Speaker 2: me of the movie the visit if you're ever wondering
- 17:55Speaker 2: what movie scared me the most the visit i don't
- 17:58Speaker 2: know what it is about creepy old people but we're
- 18:01Speaker 2: all gonna be one Oh, I'm definitely gonna be a
- 18:03Speaker 2: creepy old person. I can't wait for that. That's horrifying. Ugh,
- 18:07Speaker 2: another school went great. In third grade, I had this
- 18:10Speaker 2: strange short teacher named Mrs.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Todd.
- 18:12Speaker 2: She was always super nice to me in class. She'd
- 18:15Speaker 2: always call on me to do the activities first, compliment
- 18:18Speaker 2: me whenever I did anything, and was generally just very.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Positive towards me.
- 18:23Speaker 2: At the time, I thought she was perhaps my favorite
- 18:25Speaker 2: person in the world. I remember even telling my mother
- 18:27Speaker 2: about how much I loved Mrs.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Todd.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Anyways, one day, I sat down at my desk and
- 18:33Speaker 2: opened it up to put crap in it, when shockingly,
- 18:36Speaker 2: I saw there was a Victoria's Secret box. magazine sitting
- 18:40Speaker 2: in the pull-out drawer. The kid sitting next to me
- 18:42Speaker 2: noticed how shocked I was I thought I was going
- 18:45Speaker 2: to get in trouble and we started talking about how
- 18:47Speaker 2: it might have gotten in there. Almost immediately Mrs. Todd
- 18:50Speaker 2: walks up and asks, what have you got there? I
- 18:53Speaker 2: was seriously confused and I told her it was just
- 18:55Speaker 2: sitting in my desk when I got there this morning. Well,
- 18:58Speaker 2: she looks at me and tells me that the kid
- 19:00Speaker 2: sitting next to me must.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Have put it in there.
- 19:01Speaker 2: She kept repeating that statement over and over again, both
- 19:05Speaker 2: to him and me, until I finally admitted that I
- 19:08Speaker 2: guess he must have put it in there. Maybe a
- 19:10Speaker 2: few days after that, she approached me after class to
- 19:12Speaker 2: tell me about this special field trip I could go
- 19:15Speaker 2: on If I kept doing well in class, it would
- 19:17Speaker 2: be a trip with just her and I to the
- 19:19Speaker 2: Gulf of Mexico for the weekend. I remember being really
- 19:23Speaker 2: excited about it at the time. However, suddenly she got
- 19:26Speaker 2: replaced at school and we got this new teacher that
- 19:29Speaker 2: didn't like me as much. I was so heartbroken at
- 19:32Speaker 2: the time. It's not until many years later I realized
- 19:35Speaker 2: how fucked up that situation was and it scares me
- 19:37Speaker 2: thinking about it.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Your teacher was grooming you.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Welcome to the grooming session. Very, very glad nothing bad happened.
- 19:45Speaker 1: So, so sorry.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Well, guys, definitely gonna sleep a little weirder tonight be
- 19:49Speaker 2: real thankful that I've made my world about this big
- 19:52Speaker 2: and I have seven people that I like in it
