- 0:40Speaker 1: Y time fifty nine.
- 0:41Speaker 5: Oh man, I kind of love it though it is
- 0:43Speaker 5: summer for us.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it.
- 0:45Speaker 5: It is summer. King Slowpez. What's going on with here?
- 0:47Speaker 3: Oh?
- 0:47Speaker 6: I just like screamed so loud this morning when I
- 0:50Speaker 6: got in my car. Well, actually I was out here
- 0:52Speaker 6: getting in the parking garage because I have to fish
- 0:54Speaker 6: in my purse right to find my little card to get.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Me in the gate.
- 0:58Speaker 6: When I found this snake in my purse. My child
- 1:03Speaker 6: is turning into a prankster. I don't know if it's
- 1:06Speaker 6: just he turned eight. You know, a couple of weeks ago,
- 1:08Speaker 6: and this is like the phase that we're in.
- 1:10Speaker 1: But he's like into it.
- 1:12Speaker 6: And this is like a red, rubbery like snake that
- 1:14Speaker 6: he got for his birthday.
- 1:18Speaker 5: I think he's inspired by me.
- 1:20Speaker 6: He might be because he keeps finding Well, he found,
- 1:23Speaker 6: you know a thing that I've kept that you put
- 1:24Speaker 6: on my car recently to reuse.
- 1:26Speaker 5: What do I put on your car?
- 1:28Speaker 1: It was like a fake Oh yeah, I'll say it.
- 1:31Speaker 5: Okay, you don't want to say it.
- 1:33Speaker 1: It was a fake turd and it was on my car.
- 1:36Speaker 6: I didn't do that, and so I kept it right,
- 1:39Speaker 6: you know, for I'm going to reuse it eventually for
- 1:41Speaker 6: some reason. So it's in the drawer, the junk drawer
- 1:44Speaker 6: at our house.
- 1:45Speaker 5: Oh did he loved it? Well, good for him.
- 1:48Speaker 6: Well, we tried to break Eric with it, and I
- 1:49Speaker 6: was like, dude, when you get out of the shower,
- 1:51Speaker 6: just come out with it in your hand and be liked.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I need.
- 1:58Speaker 1: But Eric had already seen it on social media.
- 2:01Speaker 6: Okay it was fake or whatever. But ever since that
- 2:05Speaker 6: turd was on my car and has really been into pranking.
- 2:09Speaker 6: But I found this snake at my person day and
- 2:10Speaker 6: I was like, how am I going to reuse this.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Oh good. Oh yeah, you'll find a way.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Yeah for sure.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Look, ever since I was a kid, I've done pranks. Yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 4: and I can't stop. Yeah, it doesn't matter how old
- 2:20Speaker 4: I am, I just keep doing it.
- 2:21Speaker 6: I typically do group pranks, like you know, with group friends,
- 2:24Speaker 6: Like we'll prank somebody like, yeah, we have a friend
- 2:26Speaker 6: who likes to take.
- 2:27Speaker 1: His shirt off and just be like, you know, show
- 2:30Speaker 1: his abs.
- 2:31Speaker 6: He's got a lot of abs or whatever, and so
- 2:32Speaker 6: we were calling it, you know, we're gonna we're kobeing people.
- 2:35Speaker 6: That's his name. So we would just text people this
- 2:37Speaker 6: picture of him with his shirt off. So I like,
- 2:40Speaker 6: like group, you know pranks, but one on one has.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Never been my thing.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Oh I love doing it. Matter of fact, I'm do
- 2:45Speaker 4: it when it makes no sense. I'll do it just
- 2:47Speaker 4: to for myself, right, Like I don't even record it.
- 2:50Speaker 4: I'm probably five times every day. No that it in church.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I just have always done it. I don't know.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Ever since I was a kid.
- 2:58Speaker 4: That's the only reason I would ever get in trouble
- 2:59Speaker 4: back in the day in school is because I was
- 3:02Speaker 4: just pranking people. It wasn't even anything serious. It was
- 3:04Speaker 4: just pranks. I was gluing quarters to the sidewalks. I
- 3:08Speaker 4: was just doing stupid stuff all the time, and all
- 3:11Speaker 4: these years, I'm still doing stupid stuff.
- 3:14Speaker 5: You hey, I know it's only been a day.
- 3:16Speaker 7: Oh god, I can already tell the difference about after
- 3:20Speaker 7: working out yesterday.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Oh good, Pooh, listen, I will say this.
- 3:25Speaker 4: I might make fun of Pooh and we might roast
- 3:27Speaker 4: each other, but I'll never make fun of you for
- 3:30Speaker 4: working out. Yeah good, I will say props to you.
- 3:34Speaker 5: You did it yesterday.
- 3:35Speaker 4: We went to the gym here in the building and
- 3:37Speaker 4: he did it pretty No, we're.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Going to continue.
- 3:41Speaker 7: But last night I went and did a little walk,
- 3:44Speaker 7: and then I went to tom Thump, got picked.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Up an RCI some yeah today by the way.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Some Basmodi rice. It made me a little did in.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Really good because I told Pooh when we were working out,
- 4:00Speaker 4: I said, listen, now, don't go home and eat something stupid.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Yeah, and then this is gonna be done.
- 4:06Speaker 1: It's gonna be worthless, right, It's really not.
- 4:08Speaker 5: No, it sounds worthless.
- 4:10Speaker 4: But although at the same time I was a little
- 4:12Speaker 4: angry at our boss Zany while we're working out. She
- 4:16Speaker 4: brought him in Dutch Bros. Z like some kind of
- 4:22Speaker 4: sweet tea.
- 4:24Speaker 6: I was like, right, now, right, it's not with the
- 4:28Speaker 6: sweet like the coffee or.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Tea is perfect.
- 4:32Speaker 5: It was like some energy. Miss was like working out.
- 4:35Speaker 5: I was like, oh, no, body started twitching like it
- 4:39Speaker 5: felt like drugs.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So you pretty much just undo what you did.
- 4:43Speaker 4: It was almost, yeah, pretty much it was. It was
- 4:45Speaker 4: funny though, because it was almost like Fate was testing
- 4:47Speaker 4: Pooh when we were at the exactly No, we were
- 4:50Speaker 4: on the treadmill. Can't Can I just tell you this?
- 4:52Speaker 4: You were you were down there for a little bit. Yeah,
- 4:55Speaker 4: we're starting slow with Pooh, right, meaning three mile three
- 4:59Speaker 4: point zero on the tread well.
- 5:00Speaker 1: When I came up, he was at two.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Out.
- 5:05Speaker 4: I had to check him on that no incline, yeah right,
- 5:09Speaker 4: And I'm like, all we're gonna do Pooh is fifteen minutes?
- 5:12Speaker 5: He can do that? Yeah.
- 5:14Speaker 4: By ten minutes, I thought he was going to pass out.
- 5:17Speaker 4: And I'm like, we're just walking right. Then we're on
- 5:22Speaker 4: the second floor looking down into the lobby of our building.
- 5:25Speaker 5: A Crumble cookie delivery guy walks in with a.
- 5:28Speaker 7: Deluxe box because they usually come just it's three right, Yeah, No,
- 5:33Speaker 7: he came in with the twelve fat twelve testing pit.
- 5:37Speaker 7: It was just walking around like he didn't know where
- 5:39Speaker 7: he was going for like ten minutes at least.
- 5:42Speaker 1: You hate me if I told you I sent those.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Oh oh, I was about to set.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Because that's what couldn't He couldn't focus on the workout.
- 5:55Speaker 4: And he goes, I wonder if these are for me,
- 5:57Speaker 4: why would they be for you? Then he gets off
- 6:00Speaker 4: the treadmill and screams down to the guys, are.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Those for Pooh? Yeah?
- 6:04Speaker 4: And the guy's like no, He's.
- 6:08Speaker 5: Like you sure, yeah, Oh my gosh, So that's what
- 6:11Speaker 5: you got to do.
- 6:11Speaker 4: I realized we tricked Pooh into going to the gym
- 6:13Speaker 4: just for fifteen minutes.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, right.
- 6:15Speaker 4: Then I got him to do an arm workout. Perfect
- 6:17Speaker 4: did Then I said, we can quit this entire workout if.
- 6:20Speaker 5: You do one pull up. Yeah, And that didn't happen.
- 6:22Speaker 5: We continue to work out.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Yes, this is testas Tough Stories on the Tents with
- 6:27Speaker 2: Billy's Kid in the.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Morning only on the New Mix one two point nine.
- 6:31Speaker 4: You got so much going on today, By the way,
- 6:34Speaker 4: with Disney World Vacation, you want to win that we're
- 6:36Speaker 4: giving away money. We got what Bens and Boone tickets
- 6:40Speaker 4: coming up next. Yeah, so make sure you listen. Canda Slowpez,
- 6:43Speaker 4: what is going on?
- 6:43Speaker 6: Well, the Dallas MAVs have decided on a plan to
- 6:46Speaker 6: leave downtown Dallas.
- 6:47Speaker 1: This will be the first time in franchise history.
- 6:50Speaker 6: The MAVs will play outside of downtown. So they've gone
- 6:53Speaker 6: into an option agreement for the possible purchase of one
- 6:56Speaker 6: hundred and four acres of land at the old Valley
- 6:59Speaker 6: View side of course.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Preston and six thirty five in North Dallas. Let's Joe,
- 7:07Speaker 1: you're so high.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Canas is so mad?
- 7:09Speaker 6: I know, I just didn't want them to leave downtown.
- 7:11Speaker 6: They've always been downtown. I love going downtown for sporting events.
- 7:15Speaker 6: It just like makes the city feel alive down there.
- 7:18Speaker 5: When I saw this, I said yes.
- 7:19Speaker 4: I immediately text Cannas because I said, I hope they
- 7:22Speaker 4: come right here because I can literally see Valley View.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I can see it. I'm able to walk there.
- 7:27Speaker 5: I might get season tickets now.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I mean the good.
- 7:29Speaker 6: News is, yeah, our studio literally looks right at where
- 7:32Speaker 6: it's going to be, which is really cool, which is cool.
- 7:34Speaker 5: But I don't want to go downtown. I mean, I
- 7:36Speaker 5: don't want to love downtown.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I do too.
- 7:38Speaker 4: I love downtown, don't get me wrong. But American Airline
- 7:41Speaker 4: Center there's nothing to do down there.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Like, you go down there and it's great.
- 7:45Speaker 4: I'll have great memories there, MAVs championships, so many awesome memories,
- 7:49Speaker 4: my son's first game. But I'm over it at this
- 7:52Speaker 4: point because there's nothing to do. You get down there
- 7:55Speaker 4: and it's like if they build a whole entertainment district
- 7:57Speaker 4: right here.
- 7:57Speaker 6: Okay, that's the upside that I'm this like community anchor
- 8:01Speaker 6: point that they're talking about. I definitely didn't think they
- 8:04Speaker 6: should tear down Dallas City Hall for a new arena,
- 8:07Speaker 6: but they have reached their goal because they were really
- 8:09Speaker 6: trying to, you know, make this decision by July. But
- 8:11Speaker 6: their lease of the Double AC doesn't end until twenty
- 8:14Speaker 6: thirty one, so it's not like this is happening anytime soon.
- 8:17Speaker 5: Time to build. But I mean everyone's up.
- 8:19Speaker 1: North, Yeah, no, it's true.
- 8:21Speaker 6: I mean, if you live north of downtown Dallas, then
- 8:24Speaker 6: your hype about it. If you live south of downtown Dallas.
- 8:26Speaker 1: You're not hype about it.
- 8:27Speaker 6: But listen, if this turns into like green space and
- 8:30Speaker 6: hotels and retail and all the things. They're saying it's
- 8:32Speaker 6: gonna be you know, but they said that about Dallas Midtown,
- 8:35Speaker 6: which was originally what that site was going to become
- 8:38Speaker 6: when they tore them all down. But I think this
- 8:40Speaker 6: is this is probably a go.
- 8:41Speaker 4: It's going to revitalize this area. Okay, Okay, Cannice, I'm
- 8:45Speaker 4: trying to convince her.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Well, considering we work right here in this area, I'm
- 8:49Speaker 6: excited about that.
- 8:50Speaker 5: Look at us. We're going to stare at the MAVs
- 8:53Speaker 5: and digs.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Yes, we have so much to look forward to in life,
- 8:57Speaker 4: so be excited.
- 8:58Speaker 6: About I'm excited for change.
- 9:01Speaker 5: I'm just you know, I am so hype for the
- 9:02Speaker 5: Valley View MAVs. Yes, yeah, let's go.
- 9:06Speaker 4: We got we're gonna have the Value View MAVs. They
- 9:08Speaker 4: we're gonna have the Willow Bend Stars.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:11Speaker 3: That.
- 9:11Speaker 5: All I need is the Rangers to move.
- 9:14Speaker 6: No, no, no, the Razors could never.
- 9:17Speaker 5: Leave our don want to make shields and the shields I.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Will protest that hardcore.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Come.
- 9:22Speaker 5: I want the Grandscape Rangers is perfect. I'll never have
- 9:27Speaker 5: to leave, No, never have to go South of sixty
- 9:29Speaker 5: five everything ever again, only to see you.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, that barely.
- 9:34Speaker 5: I see you every day.
- 9:35Speaker 8: That's good.
- 9:36Speaker 5: That okay.
- 9:37Speaker 6: Yeah, guys, you may notice higher prices for your protein
- 9:41Speaker 6: powder soon.
- 9:41Speaker 1: So if you're protein maxing with Way powder.
- 9:44Speaker 6: Those prices just jump to the highest levels on record.
- 9:48Speaker 6: Some Way suppliers are sold out for the rest of
- 9:50Speaker 6: the year. So some companies, you know, scrambling to figure
- 9:53Speaker 6: this out for the protein max Yeah.
- 9:55Speaker 5: Bro, what am I going to do?
- 9:56Speaker 2: What?
- 9:56Speaker 5: We're two jimbros. I'm trying to be a soldier exactly.
- 9:59Speaker 6: The story is for I mean, you were paying forty
- 10:01Speaker 6: dollars six months ago, you're now paying about fifty five.
- 10:04Speaker 4: A No, and I usually just inject that creating right
- 10:07Speaker 4: into my veins. God peptids creating.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Put it under my tongue, and I'm ready to go.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Me and poo.
- 10:14Speaker 4: And one day after the gym, we're day one. Yeah,
- 10:17Speaker 4: we're pretty committed. I don't want to I mean we're
- 10:20Speaker 4: already on steroids.
- 10:23Speaker 6: No real quick, guys, the rumors are true. Taylor Swift
- 10:27Speaker 6: confirmed she is a part of Toy Story five. Her
- 10:30Speaker 6: original song on the soundtrack is called I Knew It,
- 10:33Speaker 6: I Knew You. It's about Jesse. She's the cowgirl in
- 10:37Speaker 6: the Toy Story franchise. It comes out Friday. They're saying
- 10:40Speaker 6: this is going to be a return to her country roots.
- 10:42Speaker 6: Taylor said, you know, she's always dreamed of getting to
- 10:45Speaker 6: write for the character she's adored since she was five
- 10:48Speaker 6: watching that first Toy Story movie. So she says, you
- 10:51Speaker 6: know the movie. She was able to see it in
- 10:53Speaker 6: this early stages. She went immediately home and started writing
- 10:56Speaker 6: for this film.
- 10:57Speaker 1: So that's exciting. That is kind of yeah.
- 11:00Speaker 6: Story five it's in theaters on June nineteenth. I'm Candaslopez.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Those are your Texas top stories on Morning.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Billy to Kid. Candae Slopez is your producer. Who is here?
- 11:10Speaker 4: Whin that Disney World vacation? We do it on the
- 11:12Speaker 4: forties pretty much every hour all day long. And we
- 11:14Speaker 4: have a dirty little secret today, one of the more
- 11:17Speaker 4: interesting ones we've had in a while. This is a
- 11:19Speaker 4: lie and a secret, a confession that we've never encountered before. Okay,
- 11:24Speaker 4: ever it is And as a mom, Candace, yeah, you're
- 11:26Speaker 4: gonna be like whoa oh because it has to.
- 11:29Speaker 5: Do with the kid.

- 12:13Speaker 5: Literally? Wow?
- 12:15Speaker 4: That that sounds like do you ever get to eat
- 12:18Speaker 4: the stuff? Or you just kind of you're over it.
- 12:19Speaker 7: I've made sure to make a delicate balance of eating
- 12:24Speaker 7: just enough.
- 12:24Speaker 8: I'm tired of it.
- 12:26Speaker 5: For you, you can enjoy it moderate, moderately, in moderation.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Oh yeah, okay, that's perfect. What's the name of the place.
- 12:32Speaker 5: I want to show them some love? I want to

- 12:59Speaker 5: so if I put a pastry in front of you
- 13:00Speaker 5: right now, you'd be like, no, I don't.
- 13:01Speaker 7: I mean, I'll check it out for show purposes, but

- 13:14Speaker 1: What kind of warm, flaky, buttery croissant?
- 13:17Speaker 5: Just soft, fresh out the face? Oh cruh?
- 13:23Speaker 4: Who does weird things with pastries? His pastry of choice
- 13:27Speaker 4: as a pop tart? Have you ever had a pop tart?
- 13:30Speaker 5: I have?
- 13:31Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what he does.
- 13:32Speaker 4: He takes his pop tarts so seriously, No, I've never
- 13:36Speaker 4: seen anything like it. He'd be like, hey, man, I'm
- 13:38Speaker 4: going to make a pop tart. First of all, you're
- 13:40Speaker 4: not making it. I mean no, but this guy makes
- 13:43Speaker 4: love to pop tarts. No, he literally he toasted.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Yeah. Then he puts butter on it. It's a little
- 13:53Speaker 5: bit of butter. No.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Then he puts it back in the microwave because he
- 13:57Speaker 4: wants it toasty. Okay, but he wants it very like,
- 14:02Speaker 4: very specifically warm.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Spelt the butter a little, yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Just a little, because I don't get the frosting on there.
- 14:07Speaker 7: I just get the plain one had a little butter
- 14:11Speaker 7: and eats about eight of them.
- 14:15Speaker 1: There you go, box is there? Yeah, that's exactly okay.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Eats an entire box. Okay, are you ready real or
- 14:24Speaker 5: fake news? Kids? Okay, he does. I'm not kidding, though.
- 14:27Speaker 5: He does love his pop tarts.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Well today to get rid of them buns.
- 14:32Speaker 5: Yeah all right.
- 14:34Speaker 4: Headline number one, you got to pick the fake story
- 14:36Speaker 4: out of these three headlines. And it's tough because our
- 14:38Speaker 4: news is crazy. First headline, woman arrested for attacking target
- 14:42Speaker 4: cashier after she wouldn't honor the clearance price. Woman arrested
- 14:50Speaker 4: for attacking target cashier after she wouldn't honor clearance price.
- 14:55Speaker 5: That'll give me upset.
- 14:55Speaker 4: Matter of fact, I was at hobby lobby yesterday and
- 14:58Speaker 4: saw somebody arguing about that. Yeah, yes, I'm ninety and
- 15:01Speaker 4: go to hobby Love, thank you. I was getting a
- 15:03Speaker 4: hard supplies candasy and some knick knacks. All right, headline
- 15:07Speaker 4: number two Love, I had to get across from my
- 15:13Speaker 4: cross wall, right, my number two.
- 15:19Speaker 5: Forty three year.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Old man named Looney Tune charged with assault with firearm.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Oh okay, got it?
- 15:25Speaker 4: A lot of crime in today's Forty three year old
- 15:29Speaker 4: man named Looney Tune charged with assault with a firearm.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Headline number three.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Woman arrested after calling nine one one because a bar
- 15:40Speaker 4: wouldn't serve her a jell o shot. Woman arrested after
- 15:44Speaker 4: calling nine to one one because a bar wouldn't serve
- 15:48Speaker 4: her a jello shot. A lot of crime in really
- 15:51Speaker 4: fake news today. It's all good, though. You got three headlines.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Gonna tell me which one is fake? Candas you want
- 15:55Speaker 4: to go first, you want to pass it to pooh,
- 15:57Speaker 4: which you want to do?
- 15:57Speaker 1: I'm gonnait poo Oh, all right?
- 16:01Speaker 5: Fit which one?
- 16:03Speaker 7: I'm gonna go with the last story one because she
- 16:07Speaker 7: wanted a jello shot.
- 16:09Speaker 5: All right, you want to lock that in? Yeah, lock
- 16:11Speaker 5: me in, lock it in. You think that's the fake story? Canisal?
- 16:15Speaker 5: Because I think it's hard today.
- 16:16Speaker 1: It's very hard today.
- 16:18Speaker 6: Yeah, But I've decided to go with the story number two,
- 16:20Speaker 6: Lockman for that looney.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Tune Looney tune story.
- 16:23Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 16:23Speaker 5: You sure? You sure? You want to get locked in?
- 16:26Speaker 3: Ye?
- 16:28Speaker 5: Lock it in? Locked in like Blues locked in on
- 16:31Speaker 5: his fit journey. I am locked in.
- 16:34Speaker 4: There you go. The winner today is not producer Poop
- 16:40Speaker 4: and not Candas. It's me, the fake story woman arrested
- 16:48Speaker 4: for attacking target cashier after she wouldn't honor clearance price.
- 16:53Speaker 4: That is something I made up that was inspired by
- 16:55Speaker 4: the argument I witnessed a hobby lobby. Okay, God, because
- 16:58Speaker 4: I don't really know that you can negotiated hobby hobby
- 17:00Speaker 4: on prices.
- 17:01Speaker 5: Yeah you can, you know, Okay. I don't mean to
- 17:04Speaker 5: go off on a tangent about hobby.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Lobby, go off on a tangent because I love hobby lobby.
- 17:08Speaker 5: Heighty too.
- 17:09Speaker 4: I love hobby lobby. What I didn't know is they
- 17:10Speaker 4: don't have bar codes, that hobby lobby.
- 17:13Speaker 5: They don't they put in all the prices manually. Yeah,
- 17:17Speaker 5: and you know why.
- 17:18Speaker 6: Yeah, they have like the old school cash registered thing.
- 17:20Speaker 6: But do you know why because they can change the
- 17:22Speaker 6: prices now.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Because they're very the organization hobby lobby and the company
- 17:28Speaker 4: is very religious. Yeah, and they think the bar code
- 17:30Speaker 4: is the mark of the beast. Oh no, I swear
- 17:34Speaker 4: that's what I read. Okay, because I'm like, what store
- 17:37Speaker 4: in twenty twenty six doesn't have like a bar code?
- 17:39Speaker 5: Right? You scan it? Beepoop. No, they're entering everything because
- 17:43Speaker 5: they don't believe in bar codes.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Okay, so yeah, fun fact.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Fun fact of the day, hobby lobby. Fun fact of
- 17:50Speaker 4: the day.
- 17:55Speaker 5: Okay, let's get to the risk. Where do I work?
- 18:01Speaker 5: All right, let's get to the real stories.
- 18:04Speaker 4: A forty three year old man named Looney Tune charged
- 18:07Speaker 4: with the sault of the firearm. Yeah, forty three year
- 18:10Speaker 4: old Looney Tune, whose full name is Looney John Franklin Tune,
- 18:16Speaker 4: has been sentenced to twenty years in prison after opening
- 18:19Speaker 4: fire on police during a traffic stop in suburban Portland.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Authority say Tune mister Tune shot at officers while trying
- 18:27Speaker 4: to flee, then then abandoned the vehicle.
- 18:30Speaker 5: And now he's been sentenced. But yes, his.
- 18:31Speaker 4: Name is Looney John Franklin Tune. Old, mister tune. I'm sorry,
- 18:37Speaker 4: but as soon as he was born and given that name,
- 18:41Speaker 4: lock him up.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Lock his parents. There's no way his parents are not
- 18:48Speaker 5: lock crime. Yeah, I don't care what the wack.
- 18:51Speaker 4: The minute that guy comes out of the womb arrested,
- 18:55Speaker 4: mister Looney Tune, you're going to jail.
- 18:57Speaker 5: I'm sorry, you're born in this life of crime. You're
- 18:59Speaker 5: gonna do some stupid.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Your name's Looney Tune. Yeah, you can't name a kid
- 19:03Speaker 4: Looney Tune expecting to be normal. He's been going his
- 19:06Speaker 4: whole life named Looney Tune. I'd be mad too, for sure.
- 19:10Speaker 5: All right, next he story whatever.
- 19:13Speaker 4: A woman was arrested after calling nine to one one
- 19:15Speaker 4: because a bar wouldn't serve her a jello shot.
- 19:20Speaker 5: A woman in.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Florida named Diane damn it. Diane called nine one one
- 19:28Speaker 4: last week told the dispatcher that she was in need
- 19:30Speaker 4: of assistance because a bar wouldn't serve her a jello shot.
- 19:32Speaker 4: It's unclear what the dispatcher said, but Diane was not satisfied.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Said She called back three times, demanding help in emergency situation.
- 19:42Speaker 5: Diane is a sixty eight year old woman.
- 19:46Speaker 4: By the way, Oh, Diane, Diane is not in college, wasted,
- 19:51Speaker 4: just trying to get an extra jello shot. She's literally
- 19:55Speaker 4: one of my homies at Hobby Lobby, just trying to
- 19:58Speaker 4: get a jello shot.
- 20:00Speaker 5: She also got arrested once.
- 20:02Speaker 4: They arrested her for that because you can't abuse the
- 20:04Speaker 4: nine to one system. No, they searched Diane and she
- 20:07Speaker 4: had some marijuana in two pipes on her.
- 20:09Speaker 5: Oh, the police department.
- 20:11Speaker 4: They arrested Diane. They said, I'm sorry, but miss USA
- 20:13Speaker 4: nine one one. They got her for trespassing and possession
- 20:18Speaker 4: and she was obviously intoxicated. Do I need to tell
- 20:21Speaker 4: you that, when's the last time you've done a jello shotcare?
- 20:27Speaker 5: Oh? Well, a couple months ago. You got a dirty
- 20:31Speaker 5: little secret at seven thirty. Get ready for that.
- 20:33Speaker 4: It's mixed one O two point nine failed a kid.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Candi stall Pants, the producer Pooh. I was just reading
- 20:37Speaker 4: the story about celebrities who have saved lives, and some
- 20:40Speaker 4: of these stories I have never heard before. Can you
- 20:43Speaker 4: imagine like you're in the worst moment of your life,
- 20:45Speaker 4: You're struggling to survive, something's gone wrong, whatever the situation is,
- 20:49Speaker 4: and all of a sudden you look up and you're
- 20:51Speaker 4: getting saved by Tom Cruise.
- 20:54Speaker 5: What a weird.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Situation, I trust Tom, that would be.
- 20:57Speaker 4: That's one of the celebrities. I was reading about how
- 20:59Speaker 4: Tom I guess during the filming.
- 21:01Speaker 5: Of Cocktail, obviously one of his, like you know, most
- 21:04Speaker 5: famous movies or whatever.
- 21:07Speaker 4: This girl, Elizabeth Shoe. I know nothing about movies. I
- 21:10Speaker 4: think that's an actress.
- 21:11Speaker 5: Yea, she is, Okay, she was darting towards a helicopter's
- 21:14Speaker 5: tail rotter, so he lunged at her, tackled her to
- 21:18Speaker 5: the ground before just before she hit what.
- 21:23Speaker 4: The tail rotor, which would have obviously killed her, saved
- 21:26Speaker 4: her life and she thanked him. And I guess this
- 21:29Speaker 4: is one of like three times where he saved somebody's life.
- 21:32Speaker 1: WHOA, I hope they were rolling cameras on it.
- 21:34Speaker 5: I guess they have it on video. I don't know,
- 21:36Speaker 5: but isn't that weird?
- 21:37Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 21:37Speaker 4: Then I was reading another one where you know Steve Buscemi,
- 21:41Speaker 4: the actor, I did not know he was a New
- 21:43Speaker 4: York City firefighter back in the day, and that when
- 21:47Speaker 4: nine to eleven happened.
- 21:48Speaker 5: He, even though he was famous.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Went to the World Trade Center and went into the
- 21:55Speaker 4: rubble and was trying to find survivors.
- 21:57Speaker 5: Wow, and saved multiple people.
- 22:00Speaker 1: That's amazing.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Totally look at that guy in a different light now.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Then I read that Harrison Ford in two thousand, I
- 22:08Speaker 4: didn't even know he had his helicopter license.
- 22:10Speaker 5: What do I know?
- 22:12Speaker 4: He stranded two hikers that were lost in the wilderness. Wow,
- 22:17Speaker 4: saved their life. Then found a thirteen year old little
- 22:20Speaker 4: boy and saved their life. His life. Wow, it was
- 22:23Speaker 4: lost in the woods. They were looking for him, and
- 22:26Speaker 4: he's like, well, I'll take my helicopter and look for
- 22:27Speaker 4: him and found him. Good for him, Like flick, Yeah,
- 22:33Speaker 4: let me just get my helicopter.
- 22:35Speaker 5: Save some lives.
- 22:36Speaker 4: In twenty sixteen, Jamie Fox he had I guess a
- 22:40Speaker 4: bad crash near his home. He called nine on one.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Then he went to the scene and pulled a driver
- 22:45Speaker 4: from a burning vehicle. Yeah. Clint Eastwood in twenty fourteen
- 22:50Speaker 4: performed the Heimlich maneuver on somebody who was choking on
- 22:53Speaker 4: cheese at a golf tournament and saved their life.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Wow.
- 22:57Speaker 5: Like, I mean, I don't know.
- 22:58Speaker 4: If I consider that I saved somebody's life one time,
- 23:02Speaker 4: but I think I did get very close to at
- 23:04Speaker 4: least helping somebody out. Yeah, one of the craziest moments
- 23:07Speaker 4: of my life when I was living in Detroit. This
- 23:10Speaker 4: was when I was a teenager, and I was at
- 23:13Speaker 4: a stoplight, you know, on like the service road. So
- 23:17Speaker 4: up there, it's different though the highways are low. They're
- 23:21Speaker 4: in the almost like lower than the service roads, so
- 23:24Speaker 4: they're kind of down, you know. So there's almost like
- 23:26Speaker 4: a ramp of grass that goes up to the service road.
- 23:30Speaker 4: And me and my friend are sitting at a stoplight
- 23:33Speaker 4: and all of a sudden we hear an engine roar,
- 23:35Speaker 4: We hear like and then it just ends. We look
- 23:39Speaker 4: above us and there is a car flying over our head,
- 23:45Speaker 4: hits the ground. It came from the expressway. It literally
- 23:49Speaker 4: went over us. And this you can ask my friend
- 23:53Speaker 4: Jeremy Burns, who was in the car with me. Burns,
- 23:56Speaker 4: it hit the ground and rolled like eight times. My
- 24:00Speaker 4: gosh was on its roof and started to catch on fire,
- 24:04Speaker 4: and me and Jeremy went down. The guy was hanging
- 24:07Speaker 4: like from his seatbelt. He couldn't get out. He was unconscious.
- 24:12Speaker 4: We you know, undid his seatbelt, drug him out of
- 24:15Speaker 4: the car, saved his life. I guess he had this.
- 24:19Speaker 4: He had a seizure. Oh no, while he was driving.
- 24:22Speaker 4: And yeah, I'll never forget that. It was like I
- 24:24Speaker 4: was shaken, but you just kind of start to do
- 24:26Speaker 4: what you do. As matter of fact, I was just
- 24:28Speaker 4: thinking about this because your husband Eric had a situation
- 24:31Speaker 4: like this.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Yeah, he did. When we were living up in Canada.
- 24:34Speaker 6: There was a man who was essentially drowning in like
- 24:38Speaker 6: really cold water, and so we were just out on
- 24:41Speaker 6: our walk. There was like a double rainbow that day.
- 24:43Speaker 6: I remember that a storm had just come through and
- 24:45Speaker 6: we were out taking pictures of the rainbow and looking
- 24:47Speaker 6: back at those pictures you could see the man in
- 24:49Speaker 6: the background. And Eric noticed him and was like are
- 24:52Speaker 6: you okay? And you could tell he was like struggling.
- 24:54Speaker 6: He's like no, and that was it, and Eric just
- 24:57Speaker 6: took off running back to our house. At the time,
- 24:59Speaker 6: we had kaya because we lived right you know, where
- 25:01Speaker 6: the ocean was, and so Eric got in a kayak
- 25:04Speaker 6: like paddled out there, grabbed like a life preserver and
- 25:08Speaker 6: like drug this man. Like with the kayak. The man
- 25:12Speaker 6: was just behind him. You know, because he couldn't get
- 25:14Speaker 6: inside the kayak.
- 25:15Speaker 5: I remember this.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Drug him to the pier and.
- 25:17Speaker 6: Then you know, people started noticing, you know, what was
- 25:20Speaker 6: going on, and we're waiting at the pier for Eric
- 25:22Speaker 6: to get there with him help this man out, and
- 25:24Speaker 6: you know, Eric stayed with him his life.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Yeah, saved his life.
- 25:27Speaker 6: He ended up getting an award from the Royal Canadian
- 25:31Speaker 6: Mounted Police Officer in Charge Award.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Wow, this big ceremony for him.
- 25:35Speaker 6: It was like a really cool moment, Like, but I was.
- 25:38Speaker 1: In shock watching my husband do that.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Ish Yeah, oh you were so turned on.
- 25:43Speaker 7: Yeah, that's my man, That is my man.
- 25:48Speaker 5: Good for Eric, by the way, of course Eric.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Of course he did think twice, just took off.
- 25:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:57Speaker 4: He's literally a superhero right on screen and off screen.
- 26:01Speaker 6: That's what's funny was when everyone was there and they
- 26:03Speaker 6: were like, is there a firefighter here, and it was like, no,
- 26:06Speaker 6: but I play one on TV.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Was literally that moment.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Is Tessa's cough Stories on the Tents with Billy the
- 26:15Speaker 2: Kid in the.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Morning only on the new Mix one O two point nine.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Well, before we do anything, we have a very special
- 26:21Speaker 4: birthday announcement. Canis who is it okay, it is Emma's birthday.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Oh I want to say happy birthday to Emma. Thank
- 26:28Speaker 4: you so much to you and your mom for listening.
- 26:30Speaker 5: We love you both. Happy birthday to Emma.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Happy.
- 26:35Speaker 5: I appreciate you listening. Thank you.
- 26:36Speaker 4: It's mixed one or two point nine trip to Disney
- 26:38Speaker 4: World that is coming up. Shot to win at seven
- 26:40Speaker 4: point forty canis what is going on?
- 26:43Speaker 3: Well?
- 26:43Speaker 6: The daughter of one of the victims in the Oak
- 26:45Speaker 6: Cliff apartment explosion has filed a lawsuit. So this is
- 26:48Speaker 6: the daughter of Sylvia Collins. She's a community activist unfortunately
- 26:52Speaker 6: who passed in her residence last week when this happened.
- 26:55Speaker 6: But her daughter is suing Atmos Energy, Barba Drilling, and
- 26:59Speaker 6: the building owners for negligence and wrongful death.
- 27:02Speaker 1: She's seeking compensation for lost.
- 27:04Speaker 6: Earnings, funeral expenses, and past and future loss of enjoyment
- 27:08Speaker 6: of life. The suit also says Atmos has an unusually
- 27:12Speaker 6: high rate of leaks and a history of poorly maintained
- 27:16Speaker 6: gas lines. But people are now saying, you know, they
- 27:18Speaker 6: smelled gas in the area a few days before that explosion.
- 27:22Speaker 6: They're in Oak Cliff. I mean, it was a devastating scene.
- 27:25Speaker 6: If you remember the story from last week. We're going
- 27:27Speaker 6: to be hearing a lot more about it as the
- 27:28Speaker 6: investigation continues. But you know, they're saying that a drill,
- 27:33Speaker 6: a drilling rig basically cut the gas line there and
- 27:36Speaker 6: that's what led to the explosion and the loss of
- 27:38Speaker 6: that apartment complex.
- 27:39Speaker 5: Well, that does sound sound like negligence.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Yeah, no, for sure. I'll keep you posted with that one.
- 27:45Speaker 1: And guys.
- 27:46Speaker 6: Serena Williams says she will make a major comeback to
- 27:49Speaker 6: pro tennis after almost four years. She has accepted a
- 27:53Speaker 6: wild card invitation to play doubles in next week's next
- 27:56Speaker 6: week's HSBC Championships happening in London, but she hasn't played
- 28:01Speaker 6: in a professional match since she announced she was evolving
- 28:04Speaker 6: away from the sport.
- 28:05Speaker 1: That was after the US Open in twenty twenty two.
- 28:08Speaker 6: People are also speculating that she may also compete at Wimbledon.
- 28:12Speaker 5: You know, so she's going to come back and she's
- 28:13Speaker 5: going to dominate too. Well I chose so. Yeah.
- 28:16Speaker 6: I love seeing women like in their forties coming back
- 28:19Speaker 6: and like we're not done yet.
- 28:20Speaker 1: You know we did, she's forty four.
- 28:23Speaker 5: I did not know that. Yeah, she doesn't. She looks great.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Yeah, no, one hundred percent.
- 28:29Speaker 6: I mean this is one of the hardest times in
- 28:30Speaker 6: our lives as women, you know, to be juggling and
- 28:33Speaker 6: dealing with body things, and for her to come back
- 28:35Speaker 6: and play pro.
- 28:36Speaker 5: Who said it's harder for men in their forties. Yeah,
- 28:39Speaker 5: that's what I heard him say. He was like, yeah,
- 28:42Speaker 5: you ever try to be a man in your forties?
- 28:44Speaker 5: She said, it's really tough, Belly.
- 28:48Speaker 1: I'm glad you're going to the gym poo. It's going
- 28:51Speaker 1: to make everything easier.
- 28:53Speaker 6: Guys, someone posted this hypothetical question online that is going viral.
- 28:57Speaker 6: You can only listen to one type of music for you,
- 29:00Speaker 6: and they gave these four random, weird options.
- 29:03Speaker 5: I love hypotheticals.
- 29:04Speaker 6: Okay, so here's the options they gave.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Mumble rap, mumble rap, yeah, one of my other.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Options post nine to eleven country.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Post nine Yeah, I.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Think that's just more like moderny pop.
- 29:18Speaker 6: Country, nineties country, well post early two thousand.
- 29:24Speaker 5: Okay, all right, that's one option. So we have post
- 29:27Speaker 5: nine eleven country, mumble rap. What my other two?
- 29:30Speaker 1: Christian death metal?
- 29:31Speaker 5: Oh, come on, there's Christian death.
- 29:35Speaker 1: They're just making a joke out of no.
- 29:36Speaker 5: I think it's real.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Is it real?
- 29:38Speaker 5: Yeah? I think it is real?
- 29:39Speaker 6: Okay, okay, and then the fourth option would be AI generated.
- 29:42Speaker 4: EM no no AI generated e M yeah, anything but that.
- 29:48Speaker 5: Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and pick.
- 29:53Speaker 6: I'm picking country that was gonna be my take eleven country.
- 29:57Speaker 5: I don't think I could do mumble rap. Yeah, no.
- 30:00Speaker 1: How long has mumble wrap been a thing?
- 30:02Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 30:02Speaker 4: We sound like old people when we say that. My
- 30:04Speaker 4: you know, my son and I argue, yeah, He's like,
- 30:06Speaker 4: it's not mumble wrap, dad, and I'm like, yeah, it is.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Back in my day, we had real wrap.
- 30:11Speaker 5: M J Right.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Music was better.
- 30:13Speaker 5: At our day. I mean, I would say mumble rap's
- 30:15Speaker 5: been around for the last ten years.
- 30:17Speaker 6: Okay, Well, it was a four way tie in this survey.
- 30:20Speaker 6: What yeah, this hypothetical question. It was a four way tie.
- 30:23Speaker 6: So yeah, people.
- 30:24Speaker 5: Four way time they just split.
- 30:25Speaker 6: They also yeah about like the percentages were like twenty
- 30:28Speaker 6: ishi twenty seven percent, christ death Metal.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Yes, we live in a crazy squirrel.
- 30:36Speaker 1: We do, we do.
- 30:37Speaker 6: I'm Canda Slowpez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Get it off your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Welcome to the dirty Little Secret.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Your chance to go to Disney World coming up next
- 30:47Speaker 4: to Vacation on us on Mixed one or two point nine.
- 30:50Speaker 4: We do it on the forties pretty much every hour
- 30:52Speaker 4: all day. It's Billy the Kid can Slowpez is here,
- 30:54Speaker 4: Producer poo is here. By the way, thank you for
- 30:56Speaker 4: listening all these dms I get. I appreciate you so.
- 31:00Speaker 4: And I was just saying how I get DMS from
- 31:02Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, we're in Dallas, but I'll get dms
- 31:04Speaker 4: from people all with the place saying they listen on
- 31:06Speaker 4: iHeart Radioah, which is cool, like golf Shores, Danny, then
- 31:11Speaker 4: somebody and now Ken It's gonna make fun of me
- 31:13Speaker 4: because I already see her laughing.
- 31:14Speaker 5: Why I'm saying.
- 31:16Speaker 1: It right, I don't know. I've never heard anyone say
- 31:18Speaker 1: it like that.
- 31:19Speaker 5: Somebody was listening in Vermont.
- 31:22Speaker 6: You're not saying it as bad as you were early
- 31:24Speaker 6: said it correctly and pooh, I don't.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Know why you were saying Vermont Vermont? Okay, how do
- 31:32Speaker 1: you say it Vermont Vermont? Right?
- 31:36Speaker 5: Oh?
- 31:36Speaker 7: My?
- 31:36Speaker 1: You two at an extra R.
- 31:38Speaker 4: I think who is the one who says everything funny?
- 31:40Speaker 4: He is woo says everything funny? What do you like
- 31:43Speaker 4: what do you like eating at the sushi place?
- 31:48Speaker 5: That's my favorite thing.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Okay, if you got a secret eight three three seven
- 31:52Speaker 4: eight seven one two nine, you can confess whatever you want.
- 31:55Speaker 5: This is a non judgment zone for the most part.
- 31:59Speaker 5: We like to help. We don't judge.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 32:03Speaker 5: Okay, right, can it's sure?
- 32:05Speaker 4: Uh whatever it is though, eight three three seven eight
- 32:08Speaker 4: seven one o two nine, you got one confess okay.
- 32:11Speaker 8: Okay, I know it sounds ridiculous, but I swear it's real.
- 32:14Speaker 8: But so, my daughter thinks she was born on the
- 32:17Speaker 8: thirtieth of October, but she was actually born on the
- 32:21Speaker 8: thirty first.
- 32:22Speaker 5: What she was born on Halloween? Yeah? Why does she
- 32:25Speaker 5: think she was born on the thirtieth?
- 32:27Speaker 8: Okay, So I want to emphasize that it's this is
- 32:32Speaker 8: my ex husband. It's true that guy. Okay, Okay, here
- 32:37Speaker 8: here was I guess it is? I don't know. I
- 32:40Speaker 8: try out to talk to him like super religious, like
- 32:45Speaker 8: like scary religious, you know what I mean, like like
- 32:48Speaker 8: conspiracy kind of religious, all right, And he was totally
- 32:53Speaker 8: throughout the pregnancy. You know, we knew that she'd be
- 32:55Speaker 8: due like in the fall. But then when I went
- 32:58Speaker 8: into labor on and the thirtieth into the thirty first,
- 33:03Speaker 8: he like freaked out because why breaked out? He didn't
- 33:09Speaker 8: want to, yes, exactly. So he was saying that like
- 33:13Speaker 8: Halloween is satanic and evil, and there was and this
- 33:17Speaker 8: is a real quote, no way his daughter would celebrate
- 33:20Speaker 8: a devil's holiday.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Oh wow.
- 33:23Speaker 5: So you okay, let me get this right. So you
- 33:26Speaker 5: have how old is your daughter?
- 33:28Speaker 8: By the way, So so now like this year, she's ten,
- 33:31Speaker 8: she'll be eleven October.
- 33:33Speaker 4: So wow, okay, so she's ten years old and she
- 33:36Speaker 4: thinks her birthday is the thirtieth, although it's on Halloween.
- 33:39Speaker 5: But you're lying to everyone about her birthday and her
- 33:43Speaker 5: because it was on the quote unquote devil's holiday.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Yeah wow, I know, was he that he was that intense?
- 33:53Speaker 8: Yes, I mean there's there's literally a reason we're divorced
- 33:56Speaker 8: now and I turn out to talk to him.
- 33:58Speaker 5: That is crazy.
- 33:59Speaker 4: So, I mean, I know some people feel this way
- 34:02Speaker 4: at some point that you're like, I mean, so you
- 34:04Speaker 4: just kind of went along with this because it was like,
- 34:06Speaker 4: I guess what else.
- 34:07Speaker 5: Am I going to do?
- 34:08Speaker 6: I feel like he probably did other weird things. I'm
- 34:10Speaker 6: sure he didn't like Halloween.
- 34:13Speaker 8: Yeah, and I mean like it never really like came
- 34:15Speaker 8: up and like I had literally just given birth, you
- 34:17Speaker 8: know what I mean, Like I had an epidural, Like
- 34:20Speaker 8: there's no way I'm in it for this conversation. Yeah.
- 34:22Speaker 8: So I definitely just kind of like went along with it,
- 34:24Speaker 8: and I didn't think too much of it at that time.
- 34:28Speaker 8: And then you know, her first birthday came around and
- 34:31Speaker 8: he was like, all right, we're celebrating on the thirtieth.
- 34:33Speaker 8: That's what I told people. And I was like, oh,
- 34:35Speaker 8: so you like told people that it was that she
- 34:37Speaker 8: was born on the thirtieth, you know what I mean.
- 34:40Speaker 8: So I like felt really pushed into it. And now
- 34:42Speaker 8: she's you know, she's ten, and she really believes, like
- 34:44Speaker 8: she'll tell people that, you know, my birthdays on you know,
- 34:48Speaker 8: on whatever, the thirtieth. She doesn't know, like she doesn't
- 34:49Speaker 8: think of days, you know what I mean, But she'll
- 34:51Speaker 8: think interns how.
- 34:52Speaker 5: Unless she sees her birth Yeah, Like I wouldn't know
- 34:55Speaker 5: somebody whatever my birthdays. You told me I was a kid, Okay,
- 34:57Speaker 5: that's my birthday.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Exac question is.
- 35:00Speaker 8: That eventually I'm gonna have to tell her, you know,
- 35:03Speaker 8: if she decided to like get a job in high
- 35:05Speaker 8: school or like go to college.
- 35:08Speaker 5: Was he was he weird?
- 35:09Speaker 4: I know when people I don't want to call it
- 35:11Speaker 4: weird because I respect people's religious beliefs. Yeah, but at
- 35:14Speaker 4: the same time, this might be a little extreme to some.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Did he do other things that were outlandish? Because this,
- 35:19Speaker 4: to me is a lot changing a whole day of
- 35:21Speaker 4: birth Because you can believe that the holiday might be
- 35:23Speaker 4: not the best holiday, but you don't have to celebrate it, right, so.
- 35:27Speaker 1: No one's forcing you to celebrate.
- 35:28Speaker 5: No one's forcing you to celebrate it.
- 35:30Speaker 1: So it's a beautiful day. If your daughter was born on.
- 35:32Speaker 4: It, it's a beautiful day no matter what. It's not
- 35:34Speaker 4: the Devil's holiday. But did he do other things that
- 35:36Speaker 4: were like this, like this extreme?
- 35:38Speaker 8: Yeah? So I wasn't allowed to like wear a bikini
- 35:42Speaker 8: when we were dating and when I got married or
- 35:46Speaker 8: other stuff like he didn't he felt like women wearing
- 35:49Speaker 8: a lot of makeup was like a form of lying, okay,
- 35:52Speaker 8: being like dishonest with God and stuff. So I didn't
- 35:55Speaker 8: wear a lot of makeup either when I was with him.
- 35:58Speaker 8: You know, stuff like.
- 35:59Speaker 5: That, right, I mean, so pretty controlling obviously and not
- 36:03Speaker 5: something you believe in so you two you're not together, obviously,
- 36:08Speaker 5: does she see her? Does she see him?
- 36:10Speaker 8: Yeah, it's very rare that she sees him. That's mostly
- 36:14Speaker 8: because he moved out of state for for work, which
- 36:18Speaker 8: is honestly better for everybody involved. Because he was he
- 36:22Speaker 8: was still controlling as much as he could be. Even Yeah, divorced.
- 36:26Speaker 4: Right, when do you break this news down and tell her?
- 36:29Speaker 4: When she's sixteen? When she asked when she finds out,
- 36:33Speaker 4: I don't know the right answer.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Might be happy about it.
- 36:35Speaker 6: I know a lot of people who would love their
- 36:37Speaker 6: birthday to be on Halloween.
- 36:38Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, she's missing out and all that candy.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Well, but you know, I mean party on your birthday
- 36:45Speaker 1: every year.
- 36:45Speaker 4: Yeah, it doesn't matter when your birthday is. Really it's
- 36:48Speaker 4: one day. Is that big of a difference. She has
- 36:51Speaker 4: to be old enough for the reason behind it, to
- 36:53Speaker 4: understand the reason behind it. Yeah, And that's that's why
- 36:56Speaker 4: I would wait. Is I want her to be old
- 36:58Speaker 4: enough to understand that her dad might have had religious
- 37:00Speaker 4: beliefs that you know, we're not. You weren't aligned with you,
- 37:04Speaker 4: So to tell her all that stuff at ten, I
- 37:06Speaker 4: don't know if she'll really get it.
- 37:07Speaker 6: You gotta tell her before her like sixteenth right, Yeah, but.
- 37:11Speaker 5: I don't think it's gonna be. Kids are so resilient.
- 37:13Speaker 4: Yeah, they're like, oh okay, cool, whatever, you'll you'll have
- 37:16Speaker 4: to let us know. You'll have to let us know
- 37:18Speaker 4: what you do. And yeah, you're right.
- 37:20Speaker 5: We've never had a secret like this is a totally
- 37:22Speaker 5: different secret than we've ever had. But thank you so much,
- 37:25Speaker 5: and I appreciate you telling us.
- 37:28Speaker 8: Yeah, thanks for letting me have a place to share it.
- 37:30Speaker 5: Of course, that's what we're here for, all right.
- 37:34Speaker 2: He's going for Kenna's court. It gets settled here with
- 37:38Speaker 2: Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 37:41Speaker 4: Rise, get those booties, all of your seats for the
- 37:44Speaker 4: honorable judge. Candie Lopez, who's taking the bench. She's got
- 37:47Speaker 4: her gabble. She's not wearing a robe because she's kind
- 37:49Speaker 4: of giving up.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Well, I got my Bucki's blanket.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Oh yeah, she used to put the robe on and
- 37:53Speaker 4: get all into it. Now, you know, three years into
- 37:56Speaker 4: a relationship, she doesn't care.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, it's summer typical.
- 38:00Speaker 5: All right.
- 38:00Speaker 4: If you got something for Cannais Court at Candas on Air,
- 38:03Speaker 4: at Candas on Air on Instagram, just hit her up. Okay,
- 38:06Speaker 4: you're ready for this one, Cannas. Yeah, Judge Cannas. My
- 38:09Speaker 4: cousin has really ticked me off. So I would love
- 38:11Speaker 4: it if you could tell me what you think. My
- 38:14Speaker 4: husband and I recently bought an air near Galveston, and
- 38:18Speaker 4: within the first month I found out from mutual family
- 38:21Speaker 4: members that she was already talking about how she expects
- 38:24Speaker 4: a discount when she stays there. The fact of the
- 38:27Speaker 4: matter is, I don't think I'm gonna give her one.
- 38:30Speaker 4: The house is in a prime location that took me
- 38:32Speaker 4: two years to find and is pretty much always booked.
- 38:36Speaker 4: Now she's asking for a weekend that is in high demand.
- 38:39Speaker 4: So why should I lose money just because my cousin
- 38:42Speaker 4: wants to go?
- 38:43Speaker 5: Please? Am I obligated to give everyone discounts?
- 38:47Speaker 8: Now?
- 38:48Speaker 4: How will I ever make my money back if I
- 38:50Speaker 4: do this? Please tell me what you think? Oh, good, good, one,
- 38:56Speaker 4: because this is why you don't mix business with family.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Your family wants to come?
- 39:01Speaker 5: Yeah, sure, well, I mean our cousins really family?
- 39:04Speaker 6: Yeah, wow, dude, cousins are everything They're like.
- 39:08Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 39:08Speaker 5: Actually, I don't even talk to my cousins really.
- 39:12Speaker 6: I mean, for some people, I'm lucky to be close
- 39:14Speaker 6: with my cousins.
- 39:15Speaker 4: Well, I guess for some people, and you must be
- 39:16Speaker 4: lucky you have a small family, so cousins to me,
- 39:19Speaker 4: I mean you two are closer to me than my cousins.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true.
- 39:22Speaker 5: So it depends on the situation.
- 39:24Speaker 4: But so you canice would I mean, would you give
- 39:27Speaker 4: a big discount to your cousins.
- 39:29Speaker 6: I mean when you're first getting a business going, I
- 39:31Speaker 6: don't think it's fair to expect a discount, like right
- 39:34Speaker 6: off the bat, if you're telling multiple family members behind
- 39:37Speaker 6: this person's back, like you're going to get a discount
- 39:39Speaker 6: or they should give you a discount.
- 39:41Speaker 5: Sure, don't expect.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Anything, be cool about it.
- 39:44Speaker 4: You can't expect anything in life, and when you expect it,
- 39:47Speaker 4: that's usually when you don't get it. So what she
- 39:48Speaker 4: should have done has been like, hey, you know, I
- 39:50Speaker 4: want to support.
- 39:52Speaker 5: Your business venture. Yeah, so yeah, let me book.
- 39:55Speaker 4: And if you would have been nice about it, she'd
- 39:57Speaker 4: probably been like, well, of course I'm gonna give you
- 39:58Speaker 4: some money off, right, But now you're telling family members
- 40:01Speaker 4: that you expect this and expect that.
- 40:03Speaker 5: Now it's just almost out of spite, hat some money off.
- 40:07Speaker 4: That's it, And you're obviously the cousin that nobody likes.
- 40:12Speaker 5: I mean, there's always that cousin, you know.
- 40:15Speaker 6: I mean I could see getting a discount if you're
- 40:17Speaker 6: going to leave a good review or whatever you know
- 40:19Speaker 6: on the property.
- 40:20Speaker 4: Oh maybe, I mean you should leave a good review
- 40:23Speaker 4: no matter what. Right You're good, whether you get a
- 40:25Speaker 4: discount or not.
- 40:26Speaker 1: But I'm just saying, like it could be an offer.
- 40:28Speaker 7: Okay, you got you gotta hook your people up. Come on, Billy,
- 40:31Speaker 7: why are you so stinging? You wouldn't look me that
- 40:34Speaker 7: I wouldn't hook anybody up?
- 40:35Speaker 5: Cool? I mean, like, for instance, if you own an airbnb, okay,
- 40:39Speaker 5: would you hook me up? Would you give me a discount? Now? Like,
- 40:43Speaker 5: maybe I want to rent it out and take a
- 40:45Speaker 5: where's it at? Where's my airbnb at in Galveston? Okay?
- 40:48Speaker 5: If I have an airbnbal I got a girl, you know,
- 40:51Speaker 5: want to take her out?
- 40:53Speaker 1: Okay?
- 40:57Speaker 5: First of all, you're taking her to Gallus and she's
- 40:59Speaker 5: gonna break up with you? Okay, baby, I don't know.
- 41:02Speaker 5: Hopefully this is not the first trip. I don't know. Okay,
- 41:05Speaker 5: So we go to get.
- 41:06Speaker 7: This then vacations spot I want to go when when
- 41:08Speaker 7: would you like to go, you know, summertime.
- 41:11Speaker 5: I call you up and be like, how much in
- 41:12Speaker 5: advance are you calling me?
- 41:14Speaker 7: I'm just gonna let you know I'm gonna shoot you
- 41:15Speaker 7: at Texas and be like, yo, I wanna take Oh,
- 41:18Speaker 7: I'm out. Me and old girl want to go out
- 41:19Speaker 7: of town for the weekend. I'm gonna give I'll give
- 41:21Speaker 7: you something off. What is something I'm gonna give you?
- 41:24Speaker 7: It depends if you give me.
- 41:25Speaker 4: If you only give me a week notice and it's
- 41:27Speaker 4: fourth of July weekend, you're not getting a discount.
- 41:30Speaker 6: Why right, that's like one of the most like prime weekends. Yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 6: you can't expect someone to just give up figure July
- 41:37Speaker 6: fourth weekend their property for you.
- 41:40Speaker 5: I'm trying to make.
- 41:40Speaker 4: My money back. This is a business. It's not a
- 41:42Speaker 4: free fra all. It's not a flophouse. Okay, So what
- 41:44Speaker 4: about labor days? So right now, that's a holiday too,
- 41:47Speaker 4: Junie and I say, hey, me and.
- 41:48Speaker 5: Old girl gonna go down. You wouldn't hook me up.
- 41:50Speaker 5: I'm gonna tell you what I'm like, jis this girl? Pooh, relax?
- 41:54Speaker 4: I'm gonna give you fifty percent off half in October.
- 42:00Speaker 5: To go to that over I will give you in December.
- 42:04Speaker 5: She can't even lay out or whatever. She ain't laying
- 42:07Speaker 5: out anywhere. Wow, Okay, I mean I would give you
- 42:10Speaker 5: a discount, I really would, but not on a holiday
- 42:12Speaker 5: weekend if it's a book.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:14Speaker 6: Like my brother, he has a Breakwater beach house whatever
- 42:16Speaker 6: thing that it's not. It's a Crystal Beach I think area,
- 42:19Speaker 6: and like I always say, like, let me know when
- 42:22Speaker 6: there's a weekend or a day where it's not booked,
- 42:25Speaker 6: you at least go that route.
- 42:27Speaker 1: I would never expect him to give you July fourth.
- 42:29Speaker 5: And that's the right thing to do.
- 42:30Speaker 7: Can this is your brother, though, I'm sure your brother
- 42:32Speaker 7: ain't charging you. I wouldn't charge my sister.
- 42:34Speaker 5: You wouldn't charge my sister.
- 42:37Speaker 4: Oh sister maybe not. Yeah, sister maybe not. But like
- 42:39Speaker 4: he would charge us.
- 42:40Speaker 6: Yeah, he'd give you a discount though, but he's had
- 42:43Speaker 6: it for a while now. I wouldn't expect him to
- 42:44Speaker 6: give you guys a discount right off the bat, you know,
- 42:47Speaker 6: while they're trying to like, you know, recoup a little
- 42:50Speaker 6: bit and get the business going.
- 42:52Speaker 5: I love that area, Crystal Beach.
- 42:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just a little discount.
- 42:56Speaker 5: So what do you expect poo, Just real quick, what
- 42:58Speaker 5: do you expect? Maybe like sending fire sit?
- 43:00Speaker 4: Oh my god, No, you're not getting seventy five percent off.
- 43:04Speaker 4: How about you charge and I'm and I'm gonna charge you.
- 43:06Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you this much. What if if you
- 43:08Speaker 4: bring one of your girls down? Yeah, I'm charging you
- 43:11Speaker 4: extra insurance. Why because I know, especially because it's.
- 43:15Speaker 5: All the thick size.
- 43:17Speaker 4: Oh my god, especially if it's in Galveston and that
- 43:20Speaker 4: house is on still.
- 43:23Speaker 5: Stop lea win it rock.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I gotta make sure my investment has got you.
- 43:30Speaker 5: Gotta make sure I got all. I gotta make sure.
- 43:36Speaker 5: I mean, I know we're rated for hurricanes, but I
- 43:39Speaker 5: don't know what the raided. I don't know what rated
- 43:42Speaker 5: for tortos.
- 43:44Speaker 6: Stop okay, stop, I can't freethe gives the Oh my god,
- 43:54Speaker 6: look this girl is guilty of being a bargain Brenda Discountdar.
- 44:00Speaker 1: You can't go around.
- 44:02Speaker 6: Talking to other family members about how you expect the
- 44:04Speaker 6: discount on our prime weekend.
- 44:07Speaker 1: This give and take.
- 44:08Speaker 5: Here there you go. Thank you, Canna Lopez, Hi, I
- 44:12Speaker 5: appreciate you. Just imagine my whole investment floating off in
- 44:16Speaker 5: the ocean into the Gulf because Blue started to get
- 44:21Speaker 5: frisky and collapse one of the stills. It floats off
- 44:28Speaker 5: to Mexico.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Cases Top Stories on the Tents with Billy's a Kid in.
- 44:33Speaker 3: The Morning only on the New Mix one or two
- 44:36Speaker 3: point nine.
- 44:36Speaker 4: I got your chance at one thousand dollars coming up next.
- 44:38Speaker 4: I mean, look at this, We're giving away money. We
- 44:40Speaker 4: got trips to Disney World. We're trying to hook you up.
- 44:42Speaker 4: So make sure you listen next if you want this cash.
- 44:45Speaker 4: Canda Slopez, what is going on?
- 44:46Speaker 6: Well, the Dallas MAVs have made the decision to leave
- 44:49Speaker 6: downtown Dallas. This will be the first time in franchise
- 44:52Speaker 6: history the MAVs will play outside of downtown. So they've
- 44:56Speaker 6: gone into the option agreement for the possible purchase of
- 44:59Speaker 6: one hundred in four acres of land at the old
- 45:02Speaker 6: Valley View Mall site. This is near Preston and six
- 45:05Speaker 6: thirty five in North Dallas. And they've reached their goal too,
- 45:08Speaker 6: because they were really trying to make this decision by July.
- 45:11Speaker 5: I'm so excited about that.
- 45:12Speaker 4: I know that the reaction is pretty split. It is
- 45:16Speaker 4: some people love this idea, some people don't. Will I
- 45:18Speaker 4: miss American airlines.
- 45:19Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, I do.
- 45:21Speaker 4: But I mean, you know, the thought of an entertainment
- 45:23Speaker 4: district closer to me, Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I get it.
- 45:28Speaker 6: I didn't think they should have, you know, torn down
- 45:30Speaker 6: City Hall for a new arena. No, And I'll learn
- 45:32Speaker 6: to enjoy this, but I'm so for downtown just being
- 45:36Speaker 6: the hub of things like this.
- 45:37Speaker 4: I love downtown, but there's already stuff to do downtown.
- 45:39Speaker 4: There's nothing to do over here. So there's two types
- 45:43Speaker 4: of people in this world. There's north of six thirty
- 45:45Speaker 4: five people, right correct, and then there's the crazy people.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:50Speaker 6: Well, the good news for me is the least of
- 45:53Speaker 6: the double AC doesn't end until twenty thirty one, so
- 45:55Speaker 6: it's going to be a while.
- 45:56Speaker 1: We have time to adjust to this and get excited time.
- 45:59Speaker 5: But this right here, welcome in the Valley View MAVs.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Let's get.
- 46:07Speaker 6: They're saying, you know, this is going to have a
- 46:09Speaker 6: state of the art arena, entertainment district, hotel, restaurants, retail,
- 46:12Speaker 6: a green space now that I can get on board with,
- 46:15Speaker 6: because we need more green spaces and and you know
- 46:17Speaker 6: what they're calling a community anchor point.
- 46:19Speaker 1: So that's exciting.
- 46:20Speaker 6: But that mall has been gone since we're closed since
- 46:22Speaker 6: twenty one.
- 46:23Speaker 4: They need to do something. Just think about it. We're
- 46:25Speaker 4: gonna have the Valley View maps. Yeah, then we're gonna
- 46:27Speaker 4: have the Willow Ben Stars.
- 46:29Speaker 5: Awesome.
- 46:29Speaker 1: When the Stars weird.
- 46:30Speaker 5: Move up there, then what I'm thinking is the Rangers
- 46:33Speaker 5: can move.
- 46:33Speaker 1: No, yes, absolutely not.
- 46:37Speaker 4: I love Arlington. I love Arlington, but ever since they
- 46:40Speaker 4: got rid of Cowboys Red River.
- 46:41Speaker 5: I don't go there.
- 46:44Speaker 1: I'm so sure.
- 46:45Speaker 4: So what we're gonna do is we're gonna take the Rangers.
- 46:47Speaker 4: We're gonna move them to the Shields Parking Lot. Oh
- 46:50Speaker 4: my gosh, the Grandscape Rangers. No, it's gonna be amazing.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Rangers better never leave Arlington.
- 46:58Speaker 5: Why what if they move downtown?
- 47:00Speaker 1: Well, I guess that would work for me. Okay, yeah,
- 47:02Speaker 1: we could move. That's the only place I would move
- 47:04Speaker 1: the Rangers.
- 47:04Speaker 6: But Texas Live is popping, so yeah, it's a good spot.
- 47:08Speaker 5: Guys.
- 47:08Speaker 6: You may notice higher prices for your protein powder soon.
- 47:11Speaker 6: If you are protein maxim with Way powder, those prices
- 47:15Speaker 6: just jump to the highest levels on record. They're saying
- 47:17Speaker 6: some Way suppliers are sold out for the rest of
- 47:20Speaker 6: the year, so you know, companies are scrambling.
- 47:23Speaker 1: To figure this out.
- 47:23Speaker 6: But like a way, protein that would have cost you
- 47:25Speaker 6: about forty dollars six months ago is now closer to
- 47:28Speaker 6: fifty five dollars. But protein is like all the rage.
- 47:32Speaker 6: You know, people on GLP ones now are causing the demand.
- 47:35Speaker 4: To go up for protein always that what it is, yeah,
- 47:38Speaker 4: is that everything is so expensive?
- 47:40Speaker 2: It is.
- 47:41Speaker 5: I mean I can't even get my protein.
- 47:42Speaker 4: Now, right, No, not for the same protein protein gas?
- 47:46Speaker 5: What next?
- 47:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I'm trying, toad.
- 47:49Speaker 5: I want to be a meathead.
- 47:50Speaker 4: I'm trying it expensive too, I know I can't buy meat,
- 47:53Speaker 4: I can't buy protein, can't buy gas.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Right, just do your best. At least the MAVs are
- 47:57Speaker 1: going to be up here, guys, room are true.
- 48:00Speaker 6: Taylor Swift confirms she is a part of Toy Story five.
- 48:03Speaker 6: Her original song on the soundtrack.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Is called I Knew It, I Knew You.
- 48:08Speaker 2: So.
- 48:08Speaker 6: The song is a guess about the cowgirl in the
- 48:11Speaker 6: movie character.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Her name is Jesse.
- 48:12Speaker 6: If you haven't seen this, it comes out on Friday.
- 48:15Speaker 6: It's a return to her country roots. Taylor says she's,
- 48:18Speaker 6: you know, always dreamed of getting to write for the
- 48:21Speaker 6: character she's adored since she was five years old watching
- 48:24Speaker 6: that first Toy Story movie. She said she got to
- 48:26Speaker 6: see an early cut of the movie and then basically
- 48:29Speaker 6: went home.
- 48:30Speaker 1: And immediately started writing.
- 48:31Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 48:32Speaker 6: Yeah, she said, sometimes you just know right, so.
- 48:35Speaker 5: And it's very personal for her too with Toy Story
- 48:37Speaker 5: because I don't know if you know the backstory, but
- 48:38Speaker 5: do you know the backstory about it?
- 48:40Speaker 8: No?
- 48:40Speaker 4: Well, that's Travis Kelsey's favorite thing to watch over and
- 48:44Speaker 4: he watches it when he gets when he gets screen time,
- 48:46Speaker 4: that's all he watches is all the toy stories over
- 48:48Speaker 4: and over again. Okay, Yeah, she's really doing this for him.
- 48:52Speaker 5: Okay, like when they go to Chili's, that's what he
- 48:54Speaker 5: puts on. He sits in the.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Booth he watches I'm such a Kelsey hater.
- 48:58Speaker 5: Toy Story and and football. Okay, that's what he likes.
- 49:03Speaker 4: He likes Triple Dippers, toy stories, and football Chiefs sometimes Taylor.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Okay, there you go, by the way, Toy Story five,
- 49:10Speaker 1: and there's June nineteenth. I'm Canda slow Pez. Those are
- 49:14Speaker 1: your Texas top story.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Let us know what you think.
- 49:17Speaker 3: Here's today's hot take.
- 49:18Speaker 5: Hopefully havever it in a good morning.
- 49:20Speaker 4: It makes one or two point nine Billy the Kid,
- 49:22Speaker 4: Canda Slow Pez producer Pooh, I'm so tired of arguing pooh.
- 49:25Speaker 5: About this kind of stuff. This is insane.
- 49:28Speaker 4: This is why sometimes we just kind of test how
- 49:30Speaker 4: we feel about hot takes off the air, and then
- 49:33Speaker 4: what happens is can it's usually has to settle us
- 49:35Speaker 4: down and go okay, stop talking about it. Yeah, and
- 49:37Speaker 4: whatever we disagree about, that's the hot take. And this one,
- 49:41Speaker 4: I am just I'm flabbergasted. I'm I'm gonna go ahead
- 49:46Speaker 4: whip that word out. I'm gonna whip out a flabbergast
- 49:49Speaker 4: it because this has me, That's exactly what it has me.
- 49:53Speaker 4: So this story's gone viral and we have to start
- 49:55Speaker 4: thinking about this kind of stuff myself. My son's fifteen,
- 49:59Speaker 4: he's got his perm, I gotta get a car. We
- 50:01Speaker 4: gotta get ready to get his first car soon. And
- 50:03Speaker 4: I can't believe it. And I'm just I'm not looking
- 50:05Speaker 4: forward to it. It just it happens too fast, and
- 50:07Speaker 4: I'm just worrieding all the feelings, all the emotions. Well,
- 50:11Speaker 4: this story has gone viral because this daughter is not
- 50:15Speaker 4: too excited about what her mom got her for her
- 50:19Speaker 4: first vehicle, and to me, you don't even have to
- 50:22Speaker 4: explain anything after that. You're not satisfied with the car
- 50:27Speaker 4: that was given to you. Yeah, end of story. You're ridiculous.
- 50:31Speaker 4: I don't know what we're talking about here. It doesn't
- 50:33Speaker 4: matter the situation to me, because if somebody gives you
- 50:35Speaker 4: a free car, you ought to be very thankful.
- 50:39Speaker 1: And it's a new car, right.
- 50:40Speaker 5: So this story, the mom surprises the daughter with their
- 50:45Speaker 5: first car.
- 50:46Speaker 4: And it's a Honda. Okay is it a Honda Civic?
- 50:49Speaker 4: I think I don't know either way. It'd us looks great.
- 50:53Speaker 4: She's got the bow's on it. You know, it's a balloons.
- 50:57Speaker 4: It's awesome. And I was like, ah, how sweet of that.
- 51:00Speaker 4: His daughter's gonna be so hype. Daughter not so hype.
- 51:04Speaker 4: So the text message, the screenshot is going viral because
- 51:09Speaker 4: she says to her daughter, where'd you go? She must
- 51:12Speaker 4: have left? Daughter says, I'm with dad. Mom says, okay,
- 51:16Speaker 4: you didn't seem like you liked the car. Are you
- 51:20Speaker 4: ready for this?
- 51:20Speaker 3: What?
- 51:20Speaker 5: The daughter says? I don't. I was expecting to get
- 51:24Speaker 5: a bends or a BMW.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Oh.
- 51:27Speaker 5: I appreciate you, mom, but it's just not my style.
- 51:31Speaker 5: You drive a g Wagon, so me driving a basic
- 51:34Speaker 5: Conda is kind of weird. Oh wow, are you serious?
- 51:40Speaker 1: That's insane?
- 51:41Speaker 5: Are you crazy?
- 51:43Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 51:43Speaker 5: Are you what?
- 51:45Speaker 3: So?
- 51:46Speaker 4: She writes back. Mom writes back and says, you realize
- 51:49Speaker 4: you just graduated high school? Right, You have a roof
- 51:51Speaker 4: over your head. You don't have to pay bills, college
- 51:54Speaker 4: is paid for. You don't have to rush and leave home.
- 51:57Speaker 4: Your life is set. So to sit and tell me
- 52:00Speaker 4: you don't like the car I paid cash for is
- 52:04Speaker 4: crazy and it's very ungrateful.
- 52:06Speaker 5: Actually, you don't appreciate me. You don't appreciate me at
- 52:10Speaker 5: all for this, the way you storm off with an
- 52:12Speaker 5: attitude and you leave. If you're not going to drive
- 52:14Speaker 5: the car, I will sell it. And then she goes off.
- 52:17Speaker 5: It says a few choice words, and I do not
- 52:19Speaker 5: blame her. She says, I worked hard for my g Wagon.
- 52:24Speaker 5: You're a teenager graduating. You didn't work hard for anything yet?
- 52:29Speaker 5: How dare you?
- 52:30Speaker 3: Oh?
- 52:30Speaker 1: I agree, thank you, mach.
- 52:32Speaker 6: I'm also sad that this lesson is being learned at eighteen.
- 52:36Speaker 1: You know what I mean? We have to like raise
- 52:38Speaker 1: our kids, right, you.
- 52:39Speaker 6: Know along the way, we don't just all of a
- 52:41Speaker 6: sudden at eighteen, try to teach them a lesson, like,
- 52:43Speaker 6: this girl's probably never ridden in a Honda, never seen
- 52:45Speaker 6: a Honda ely. You know, if you come from a
- 52:47Speaker 6: luxury lifestyle, you might expect to keep it if you
- 52:50Speaker 6: weren't parented properly.
- 52:51Speaker 5: Well maybe maybe not.
- 52:52Speaker 4: Some kids just grow up though entitled, no matter how
- 52:55Speaker 4: well their parents are, just like some kids grow up
- 52:57Speaker 4: to be bad kids were fair bad adults and criminals,
- 53:00Speaker 4: whether they had a great upbringing or not. You always
- 53:02Speaker 4: see that on the dateline specials. I get that, but
- 53:06Speaker 4: it's the mom's fault.
- 53:07Speaker 7: I mean, the little girl is not how the little
- 53:10Speaker 7: girl Listen, the little girl just just didn't wake up
- 53:13Speaker 7: and say I'm entitled. Her mom has probably been spoiling
- 53:17Speaker 7: her all her life. And I mean a C class
- 53:20Speaker 7: bands is only like thirty thousand. I just graduated in
- 53:24Speaker 7: hospital thousand.
- 53:25Speaker 4: Yes, my son's not getting a thirty thousand dollars car,
- 53:28Speaker 4: of course his first vehicle. This little girl, he's got
- 53:31Speaker 4: a pickup truck that he's gonna have to figure out
- 53:32Speaker 4: how to change the oil and how to maintain it.
- 53:35Speaker 7: But he's driving it during high school. This little girl
- 53:39Speaker 7: graduating going to the next step. Why couldn't mom just
- 53:42Speaker 7: get her something she might like, Wow, why if I'm
- 53:46Speaker 7: well off, you know, I'll splurged for my kids. Right now,
- 53:49Speaker 7: I'm a baller on a budget, so I ain't gonna
- 53:51Speaker 7: do that.
- 53:51Speaker 5: It has nothing to do with being well off. To me,
- 53:54Speaker 5: it had no, it's got a g wagon. She's balling.
- 53:57Speaker 5: So what mom worked for that? My mom work for that.
- 54:01Speaker 5: That doesn't mean the kid is entitled. That's why I
- 54:03Speaker 5: love these professional athletes too.
- 54:05Speaker 4: Like Shack is like, you know what, I don't care.
- 54:07Speaker 4: My kids have to work for their money. Yeah, they
- 54:09Speaker 4: can't just expect my fortune.
- 54:11Speaker 6: But I just feel like this conversation, like she should
- 54:14Speaker 6: know in her mind, I'm not getting a luxury car
- 54:17Speaker 6: at this point.
- 54:18Speaker 1: It shouldn't just be a shocker out of nowhere. And
- 54:20Speaker 1: she's expected this her whole life. But no, is she entitled?
- 54:24Speaker 4: Yeah for sure, but we can't assume though. We also
- 54:26Speaker 4: can't assume that she's been spoiled. We don't know, So
- 54:29Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 54:29Speaker 5: Just because family has money doesn't mean the kids are spoiled.
- 54:33Speaker 7: Well, I would just think, like if I'm graduating, I
- 54:36Speaker 7: would just think parents would go all out.
- 54:38Speaker 1: If they're paying, I have a point for college, she says.
- 54:43Speaker 5: So that she's paying for my college, that's college.
- 54:46Speaker 1: How about don't pay for my college, get me the
- 54:48Speaker 1: car I want.
- 54:48Speaker 5: That's the stupidest decision. I'm going to college, So you'd
- 54:51Speaker 5: rather have a nice car and not go to college.
- 54:53Speaker 5: Not me.
- 54:54Speaker 7: But I'm talking about if I was a female female,
- 54:57Speaker 7: a girl, I'm sure she probably wants to look good
- 55:00Speaker 7: and d roll up in a ban.
- 55:01Speaker 5: Every every kid would want to bendz.
- 55:03Speaker 4: I'm sure if he wants if you left it up
- 55:05Speaker 4: to them, or an expensive truck or whatever, maybe not
- 55:08Speaker 4: a band, of course there would not. Everybody's gonna have
- 55:10Speaker 4: that luxury. And I don't care if you have the
- 55:12Speaker 4: money or not. It shouldn't be automatically handed to someone.
- 55:15Speaker 4: That's my whole point. Who I can't wait until Brandon
- 55:18Speaker 4: is sixteen, which is about to be so, yeah, I know,
- 55:21Speaker 4: what are you getting him? I expect to bens?
- 55:23Speaker 5: No, oh yes I do. He's not that type of kid,
- 55:27Speaker 5: so I'm not worried about that. Really, No, he's not.
- 55:31Speaker 5: He's You're lucky he's a camp because I call him.
- 55:33Speaker 5: Do you want to have a sit or do you want.
- 55:35Speaker 6: To bend practice gratitude right pressure you're learning and growing,
- 55:40Speaker 6: you practice gratitude. I don't know that this kid has
- 55:42Speaker 6: practiced gratitude.
- 55:43Speaker 5: When and more years to save up for bands? Cut
- 55:48Speaker 5: off what I'm just saying. She could have She could
- 55:51Speaker 5: have bought her.
- 55:51Speaker 4: A little You're missing the point. It's not about the money,
- 55:54Speaker 4: you being right't that much. No, but reliability is an issue.
- 55:58Speaker 4: Maintenance is expensive, So you're setting this kid up for failure.
- 56:01Speaker 5: She's on her own after that. Here you got you
- 56:03Speaker 5: won your luxury vehicle.
- 56:05Speaker 4: No, it's not gonna be on your own because guess
- 56:07Speaker 4: what she's still gonna be like, mom my car broke down.
- 56:09Speaker 5: I don't have money to fix it. Now that's that's
- 56:12Speaker 5: that's okay. Yeah, sure, welcome to the real world.
- 56:15Speaker 4: You got your You want to welcome to the real
- 56:18Speaker 4: world where you can handle the bens when you're eighteen.
- 56:21Speaker 5: That's not the real world. Mixed one O two point nine.
- 56:26Speaker 4: Good morning, it's Bailly the Kid, Candice Lopez, producer Pooh
- 56:29Speaker 4: is here.
- 56:30Speaker 5: I'm reading this story. I'm not gonna lie. I rarely
- 56:33Speaker 5: get like I don't know a little emotional about things
- 56:35Speaker 5: I read online. Anymore. And this this kind of choked
- 56:39Speaker 5: me up. Okay, it really did, and it's just like
- 56:42Speaker 5: the whole thing is, it's a lot.
- 56:44Speaker 4: So I'm reading the story about this woman who, you know,
- 56:47Speaker 4: unfortunately her father passes away, and she kept texting his
- 56:52Speaker 4: phone after he passed for like four years. Oh that
- 56:56Speaker 4: was just her comfort, you know. And I can understand
- 56:59Speaker 4: that because I had a passed away and I know
- 57:01Speaker 4: for it. I didn't do it for four years, but
- 57:02Speaker 4: for a little while after, I just kept texting. You
- 57:05Speaker 4: did for a little while, just because I knew nobody
- 57:08Speaker 4: would get the number yet, and it just felt good.
- 57:10Speaker 4: And then I saved our text and I obviously knew
- 57:12Speaker 4: I was never gonna get a response. Well, the crazy
- 57:15Speaker 4: part of this story is four years she's sending this
- 57:19Speaker 4: number who's her father's number text messages and then one
- 57:23Speaker 4: day she gets a reply. Oh, she wakes up, sends
- 57:28Speaker 4: it the message, wakes up the next morning and sees
- 57:31Speaker 4: a message from daddy, oh, with a heart. And the
- 57:36Speaker 4: kind of stuff she was writing was just like updates,
- 57:38Speaker 4: and she never got a response back. So she figured
- 57:40Speaker 4: nobody got the number. I'm just gonna keep doing it
- 57:42Speaker 4: if it makes me feel good, then that's what I'm
- 57:44Speaker 4: gonna do. And she would write like I'm reading one
- 57:45Speaker 4: of the screenshots, because she posted a screenshot like one
- 57:49Speaker 4: of the things she wrote it says, hey Dad, it's me.
- 57:51Speaker 4: Tomorrow's gonna be a tough day again. It's been four
- 57:53Speaker 4: years since I lost you. A lot has happened in
- 57:56Speaker 4: that small time. But I'm sure you know since I
- 57:58Speaker 4: tell you all the time. And then she talks about
- 58:00Speaker 4: how she was sick and she got better and she
- 58:02Speaker 4: got her heart broken, and you know, just milestones, triumphs, tragedies.
- 58:07Speaker 4: Whatever the text message she got back, can I read
- 58:10Speaker 4: it to you? Yeah, high, sweetheart. I'm not your father,
- 58:17Speaker 4: but I have been getting all your messages for the
- 58:19Speaker 4: past four years. I look forward to your morning messages
- 58:24Speaker 4: and your nightly updates. My name is Brad and I
- 58:27Speaker 4: lost my daughter in a car wreck in August twenty fourteen.
- 58:32Speaker 4: Your messages have kept me alive. When you text me,
- 58:36Speaker 4: I know it's a message from God. I'm sorry you
- 58:39Speaker 4: lost someone so close to you, but I have listened
- 58:41Speaker 4: to you over the years, and I've watched you grow
- 58:44Speaker 4: and go through more than anyone. I've wanted to text
- 58:47Speaker 4: you back for years, but I didn't want to break
- 58:49Speaker 4: your heart. You're an extraordinary woman and I wish my
- 58:52Speaker 4: daughter would have become the woman you are. Thank you
- 58:56Speaker 4: for your everyday updates. You remind me that there is
- 58:58Speaker 4: a God and it wasn't his fault that my little
- 59:01Speaker 4: girl is gone. He gave me you in a weird way.
- 59:06Speaker 4: Either way, you push yourself every day and I respect that.
- 59:08Speaker 4: I'm sorry you have to go through this, but if
- 59:10Speaker 4: it makes it any better, I'm very proud of you.
- 59:13Speaker 4: Oh ps, I think your father would be happy to
- 59:17Speaker 4: know you bought another dog instead of having children. Oh wow,
- 59:21Speaker 4: take care and I look forward to your updates tomorrow.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Oh wow, Oh what that's amazing.
- 59:29Speaker 5: I had tears in my eyes.
- 59:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:31Speaker 5: I was like, you know, it's weird how God does
- 59:34Speaker 5: things for a reason and brought these two people together
- 59:37Speaker 5: and they still text one another beautiful to this day.
- 59:42Speaker 2: Tough stories on the tents with Billy the Kid in the.
- 59:44Speaker 3: Morning only on the New Mix one or two point nine.
- 59:48Speaker 5: All right, trip to Disney World coming up?
- 59:50Speaker 8: We do it.
- 59:50Speaker 4: Send off for summer, I mean hook it up a
- 59:53Speaker 4: vacation on us ninety other shot Canislow Pasz cough and
- 59:56Speaker 4: over there.
- 59:57Speaker 5: What you're doing just before I talk? Yeah, okay, you
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: can tell her.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Live, Yeah for sure.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: Well, guys, the daughter of one of the victims of
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: the oak Cliffe apartment explosion has filed a lawsuit. So
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: this is the daughter of Sylvia Collins. She was a
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: community activist there in Oakcliffe. She died in her residence
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: last week when this happened. But her daughter is suing
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: ATMOS Energy, Barba Drilling, and the building owners for negligence
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: and wrongful death. She's seeking compensation for lost earnings, funeral expenses,
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: and past and future loss of enjoyment of life. Just
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: a really sad story. But that suit also says Atmos
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: has an unusually high rate of leaks and a history
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: of poorly maintained gas lines. You know, people are now
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: saying they smelled gas in the area a few days
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: before the explosion, but they're saying, you know, there was
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: a drill rig there that did cut a gas line.
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: The investigation is still ongoing, so we're probably gonna hear
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: more about this in.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: The days to come. With that's just the first of
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: probably many lawsuits to come.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: I'm sure very sad think that situation there no, so
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: many people affected.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Yeah, guys.
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: Serena Williams says she will make a major comeback to
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: pro tennis after almost four years. She has accepted a
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: wild card invitation to play doubles and next week's HSBC Championships.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: These are happening in London next week, but she hasn't
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: played in a professional match since she basically.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Announced her retirement.
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: Remember she said she was evolving away from the sport.
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: That was after the US Open in twenty twenty two.
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: People are also speculating that she may also compete in
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: Wimbledon as well, which is awesome because she's forty four,
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: forty four.
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: And doing that professional right, I mean, good for her.
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: She could do it. And I bet she comes back
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: and she kills it.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. I'd love to see it.
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: Women in their forties like reclaiming, you know, their victories
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: from the past and showing people they can do it,
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: even you know, in quote unquote midlife.

- 1:02:09Speaker 4: got a little pep in his step. Yeah, from an
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: elderly person.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Are you working out today?
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: Yes?
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: I am good now, I just.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: Gotta worry about elderly things, you know, like elderly breaking hips.
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: I give him his many musa before you work out.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: He's got a rail in the bathroom, Yes, exactly. Yeah, guys.

- 1:03:27Speaker 6: are your Texas top stories.
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: This is scaredy little secret.
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: I'm Mixed one O two point nine.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: If you've got a secret, confess anytime you want. It's
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: a Bailey the Kid, Canda slow Pez. I almost said
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: professor Pooh.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Some people do call him professor.
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: Some people do call him professor Pooh.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: Obviously we know why because yeah, because I'm smart, yeah, intelligent,
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: very intelligent Pooh is.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: Yeah. I know he is, he really is. But I
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: don't know why. Some people call you professor, but it's
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: got me calling you professor proo. I think you're more
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: of a professor than a producer.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: All right, if you have a secret eight three three seven, eight, seven,
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: one two nine shout at this Disney World trip coming
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: up next to But it's time to confess.
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: Go ahead, what's up?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: Okay, I know it sounds ridiculous, but I swear it's real.
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: But so, my daughter thinks she was born on the
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: thirtieth of October, but she was actually born on the
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: thirty first.
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: What she was born on Halloween?
- 1:04:26Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: Why does she think she was born on the thirtieth? Okay,
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: So I.
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: Want to emphasize that it's this is my ex husband,
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: because true that guy. Okay, okay, here here was I
- 1:04:40Speaker 8: guess it is. I don't know. I turn out to
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: talk to him like super religious, like like scary religious,
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: you know what I mean, like like conspiracy kind of religious,
- 1:04:52Speaker 8: all right, And he was totally throughout the pregnancy. You know,
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: we knew that she'd be due like in the fall.
- 1:04:58Speaker 8: But then when I went to labor on the thirtieth
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: into the thirty first, he like freaked out.
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: Because why breaked out?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: He didn't want to.
- 1:05:12Speaker 8: Yes, exactly. So he was saying that, like Halloween is
- 1:05:15Speaker 8: satanic and evil, and there was and this is a
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: real quote, no way his daughter would celebrate a Devil's Holiday?
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: Oh wow? So you okay, let me get this right.
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: So you have how old is your daughter?
- 1:05:29Speaker 8: By the way, So now like this year, she's ten,
- 1:05:33Speaker 8: she'll be eleven October.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: So wow, okay, so she's ten years old and she
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: thinks her birthday is the thirtieth, although it's on Halloween.
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: But you're lying to everyone about her birthday and her
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: because it was on the quote unquote Devil's Holiday?
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: Wow, I know, was he that he was that intense?
- 1:05:55Speaker 8: Yes, I mean there's there's literally a reason we're divorced now,
- 1:05:58Speaker 8: and I turn out to talk to him that she
- 1:06:00Speaker 8: was crazy.
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: So, I mean, I know some people feel this way
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: at some point that you're like, I mean, so you
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: just kind of went along with this because it was like,
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: I guess.
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: What else am I going to do?
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: I feel like he probably did other weird things. I'm
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: sure he didn't like Halloween.
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: Yeah, And I mean like it never really like came
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: up and like I had literally just given birth, you
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: know what I mean, Like I had an epidural, like
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: there's no way I'm in it for this conversation. Yeah.
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: So I definitely just kind of like went along with
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: it and I didn't think too much of it at
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: that time, and then you know, her first birthday came
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: around and he was like, all right, we're celebrating on
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: the thirtieth.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: That's what I told people.
- 1:06:36Speaker 8: And I was like, oh, so you like told people
- 1:06:38Speaker 8: that it was that she was born on the thirtieth,
- 1:06:40Speaker 8: you know what I mean. So I like felt really
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: pushed into it. And now she's you know, she's ten,
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: and she really believes, like she'll tell people that, you know,
- 1:06:47Speaker 8: my birthdays on you know, on whatever, the thirtieth. She
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: doesn't know, like she doesn't think of days, you know
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: what I mean, But she'll think interns.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: How unless she sees her birthday. Yeah, like I wouldn't
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: know somebody whatever my birthdays. You told me I was
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: a kid, Okay, that's my birthday.
- 1:07:00Speaker 8: Eventually, I'm gonna have to tell her, you know, if
- 1:07:05Speaker 8: she decided to like get a job in high school
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: or like go to college.
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: Was he was he weird? I know when people I
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: don't want to call it weird because I respect people's
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: religious beliefs.
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but at the same time, this might be a
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: little extreme to some. Did he do other things that
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: were outlandish? Because this to me is a lot changing
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: a whole day of birth because you can believe that
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: the holiday might be not the best holiday, but you
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: don't have to celebrate it.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Right, So no one's forcing you to celebrate.
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: No one's forcing you to celebrate it.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: So it's a beautiful day. If your daughter was born
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: on it, it's.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: A beautiful day no matter what. It's not the Devil's holiday.
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: But did he do other things that were like this,
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: like this extreme?
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: Yeah, So I wasn't allowed to like wear a bikini
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: when we were dating and when I got married or
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: other stuff like he didn't He felt like women wearing
- 1:07:50Speaker 8: a lot of makeup was like a form of lying, okay,
- 1:07:53Speaker 8: being like just honest with God and stuff. So I
- 1:07:56Speaker 8: didn't wear a lot of makeup either when I was
- 1:07:59Speaker 8: with you know.
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: Stuff like that, right, I mean, so pretty controlling obviously
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: and not something you believe in. So you two, you're
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: not together, obviously. Does she see her? Does she see him?
- 1:08:11Speaker 8: Yeah, it's very rare that she sees him. That's mostly
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: because he moved out of state for for work, which
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: is honestly better for everybody involved. Because he was he
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: was still controlling as much as he could be even Yeah, divorced.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: Right, when do you break this news down and tell
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: her when she's sixteen? When she asked when she finds out.
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: I don't know the right hander might be happy about it.
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: I know a lot of people who would love their
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: birthday to be on Halloween.
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, she's missing out on all that candy.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Well, but you know, I mean party on your birthday
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: every year.
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: Yeah, it doesn't matter when your birthday is. Really it's
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: one day. Is that big of a difference. She has
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: to be old enough for the reason behind it, to
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: understand the reason behind it. Yeah, And that's that's why
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: I would wait. Is I want her to be old
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: enough to understand and that her dad might have had
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: religious beliefs that you know, were not you, weren't aligned
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: with you.
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: So to tell her all that stuff at ten, I
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: don't know if she'll really get it.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: You gotta tell her before her like sixteenth, right, Yeah, but.
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: I don't think it's gonna be. Kids are so resilient.
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: Yeah, they're like, oh, okay, cool, whatever, you'll you'll have
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: to let us know.
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: You'll have to let us know what you do. And yeah,
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: you're right, We've never had a secret like this is
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: a totally different secret than we've ever had. But thank
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: you so much and I appreciate you telling us.
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: Yeah, thanks for letting me have a place to share it.
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: Absolutely, we're about to get out of here.
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: It's mixed one on two point nine, Bill at a kid,
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: Cannaslowpez producer pood don't forget all day. So many chances
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: to get this Disney World vacation with our summer send off.
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: We can. We can do that.
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: You want some money, we're giving money away too, So
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: listen to win. To get hooked up, Candice, what you
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: got going on today?
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: I'm going to the dentist. Oh yeah, they're going to
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: fix my chip.
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: Oh that's right. I keep forgetting you chip your two.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: I know, I'm so well.
- 1:09:56Speaker 6: I chipped it last year out of nowhere. I have
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: no idea how it happens. Like the tiniest why do
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: you play this beer?
- 1:10:01Speaker 5: Why are you doing that?
- 1:10:03Speaker 6: The tiniest little chip. But I had it fixed and
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: now it's like gone.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: The food said, it looks like he's gone.
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: Really looks like you're from a squie. Now, Oh my gosh, it's.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Not that big, but it's annoying.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: Did you do it again.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: I don't know. I have no idea.
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: Blink twice if you're okay, what do you mean you
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: don't know how? You chipped it too?
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: I don't know. Well, it's not like chipped, it's I
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: don't know how to explain.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: I don't want the garbonds of beans rombi a bean. No,
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: it's not a crazy beans.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: No, beans are soft.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: Not your beans, Yes they are. Your beans are rough.
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: You probably taste them before you google. Yeah.
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: Do you soak your beans before you cook them? Oh
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: my gosh, no masking for real because I like beans too,
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: but yeah.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: You should soak them.
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I just usually make them like ready to go, okay,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: out of a can? Yeah, can, or like glass there's
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: a new brand that I like that sells them in
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: a glass jar.
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: I expected more from you. I just expected fresh beans.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: I don't have time for I would like to be
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: that person, but I'm not.
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: Usually you're the kind that like I drive to I
- 1:11:06Speaker 5: don't know, bir listening to pick my bass?
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: That serious?
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: Pooh and I I think we're going to work out again.
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: We are right, Day number two of keeping Pooh accountable. Yeah,
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: because I usually get my cardio playing basketball, doing something.
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: But yeah, he's always active, but not me, you know what.
- 1:11:24Speaker 5: But he's doing it and he's excited.
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: Today he said, yeah, so what if I want to
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: lose this momentum, Because if I lose it, I'm gonna
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: go back to my hallway.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: You know what.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: I love.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: I love that we did fifteen minutes on the treadmill yesterday.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: And he said, I don't want to lose this momentum.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Hey, that's a win.
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: It is a win. That's why I'm not making fun
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: of him.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: The hardest part is getting started, right it is, and
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: we did that yesterday.
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: So today, what are we going to do thirty minutes?
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: What on the treading? Yeah? Fifteen? I want to do
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: more upper body today. You did upper body yesterday. You say, yeah,
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: we didn't do that much. No, trust me, you need
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: to do legs. After I saw you on that treadmill.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: And then treadmill.
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: Who's got a very short step. That's what I've realized yesterday.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Right, his stride is not long.
- 1:12:06Speaker 5: His gate he's got a short gate.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Well that's good. That maybe means he's taking more steps.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know, because we were only at three
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: on that treadmill. And it looked like he was jogging.
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: And your Apple Watch, yeah, I got it right. Where
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: are you at right now? Let me show you how
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: you can put it on the home screen so you
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: can look at it every day.
