Matzah: Its Blessing on Pesach and All Year Round with Rabbi Dovid Fink: Episode 1
On Pesach, the blessing on matzah is “ha-motsi lechem min ha-arets” because matzah is our bread on Pesach. But for the rest of the year matzah resembles a cracker, which should call for the blessing “borei minei mezonot.” Join Rabbi Dovid Fink as he surveys the opinions and disagreements among the posekim regarding the blessing for matzah for the rest of the year.
