  Speaker 1: potential for a very great tree through impatience. Some of you,

  Speaker 1: your lives are already budding. They are already producing. May

  Speaker 1: not have been producing fruits. But it's hopeful for you

  Speaker 1: to know that a great tree is growing. And one day,

  Speaker 1: that tree will become so fruitful. So fruitful. So fruitful.

  Speaker 1: You will never believe that it was once a seed

  Speaker 1: that was planted. Isn't it amazing that every one of

  Speaker 1: his mother. We have people in this ministry who are

  Speaker 1: so tall. So able bodied. You wonder if it was

  Speaker 1: five of them that came together and they were combined

  Speaker 1: as adults. But no matter how big. No matter how tall.

  Speaker 1: It was a seed. Reminds me of your destiny. May

  Speaker 1: look small. But there is an ability acting upon that seed.

  Speaker 1: And with every passing day. You see you measure time

  Speaker 1: in the spirit not by the chronological passage of time.

  Speaker 1: You measure progress by every time you hear the word

  Speaker 1: of God. So you mark your calendar to victory. With

  Speaker 1: every arrival of the word of God you are growing.

  Speaker 1: Your date. You are shortening the distance between your starting

  Speaker 1: point and your point of fruitfulness. The more committed you

  Speaker 1: are to the ministry of the word and other spiritual exercises,

  Speaker 1: you are accelerating your journey to being fruitful. Are we

  Speaker 1: Others are just there for the ceremony, just to ease

  Speaker 1: the guilt of not sitting back at home when they

  Speaker 1: should be in church. Are we together? Every time you

  Speaker 1: come to the house of God, it's important for you

  Speaker 1: to know that God has prepared for you a feast

  Speaker 1: of fat things. Among them, the capacity to access light.

  Speaker 1: spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting. So what

  Speaker 1: you do with your seeds... That becomes your concern. I've

  Speaker 1: told you that your destiny is at the mercy of
• 18:41
  Speaker 1: the kind and the quality of decisions that you make. Ultimately,

  Speaker 1: it is up to you. The decisions that you make.

  Speaker 1: The assignment of a man of God and the assignment

  Speaker 1: of the teaching ministry. Is to guide you with sufficient knowledge.

  Speaker 1: Spiritual knowledge first. And then knowledge of the laws of life.

  Speaker 1: make quality decisions. Hear me again. You can make quality decisions.

  Speaker 1: found something that I wrote, I don't know when now,

  Speaker 1: sometime back during my personal meditation. Sometimes when I'm meditating

  Speaker 1: on the word, I just pause a bit and just
• 19:47
  Speaker 1: recline and think how true. the things I'm studying or
• 19:51
  Speaker 1: the things that I'm learning. And sometimes I'm tempted to
• 19:54
  Speaker 1: just scrabble a few things. And here's what I wrote.

  Speaker 1: I said here that you cannot improve in life and
• 20:00
  Speaker 1: destiny until you become brutally honest with yourself. You cannot
• 20:06
  Speaker 1: improve in life and in destiny until you become brutally
• 20:12
  Speaker 1: honest with yourself. The greatest form of deception is self-deception.

  Speaker 1: The greatest form of deception. That means you get to
• 20:22
  Speaker 1: a point where you are lying to yourself is self-deception.

  Speaker 1: You can never improve in life and destiny. Except and
• 20:31
  Speaker 1: unless and until you become brutally honest with yourself. The

  Speaker 1: meaning of that is that the day you really sit

  Speaker 1: down to address matters in your life. Is this working?

  Speaker 1: Not assumed results. For as long as you still carry

  Speaker 1: imaginary progress. You know there are people who live in

  Speaker 1: an illusion. I didn't know when I started ministry. Honestly,

  Speaker 1: I used to hear that people literally live in a
• 20:57
  Speaker 1: world of illusions. And it didn't make sense to me.

  Speaker 1: But now, having got a bit in leadership and ministry,
• 21:04
  Speaker 1: I can tell you, there are people who live in

  Speaker 1: a world that is very real to them. But it
• 21:09
  Speaker 1: doesn't exist. The medical persons will call it delusion. They
• 21:13
  Speaker 1: literally are in a world that does not exist. It's
• 21:16
  Speaker 1: like a psychology version of taking drugs. So they live
• 21:21
  Speaker 1: in a world where many things happen in that world
• 21:24
  Speaker 1: but none of it is real. And they know it's
• 21:26
  Speaker 1: not real. They live like that. They are making progress
• 21:30
  Speaker 1: in their imagination. They are building houses in their imagination.
• 21:35
  Speaker 1: They are growing and making tremendous progress. And once in
• 21:38
  Speaker 1: a while their reality reminds them that they are still joking.
• 21:43
  Speaker 1: Are we together? You cannot improve until you become brutally honest.
• 21:50
  Speaker 1: Is my spiritual life working? Is my finances working? If yes, why?
• 21:56
  Speaker 1: If no, why not? You see, whether you are making
• 22:00
  Speaker 1: progress or not, your confidence is not in the result.

  Speaker 1: Your confidence is knowing the pathway that leads to that result.
• 22:09
  Speaker 1: It is a very terrible thing to stumble into accidental success.

  Speaker 1: There is such a thing as accidental success. It is
• 22:17
  Speaker 1: usually not sustainable. It carries a semblance of progress for
• 22:22
  Speaker 1: a while until you find out you did not lay

  Speaker 1: hold on the principles that makes for sustenance. The second

  Speaker 1: thing I wrote here, part of my contemplations, then we

  Speaker 1: get to the word. Seek competence before visibility. Seek competence before.

  Speaker 1: have an obsession for visibility. When you sell nonsense to

  Speaker 1: such an unforgiving heart towards incompetence. When you show up

  Speaker 1: and they give you a chance and mark you for incompetence,

  Speaker 1: it will take the grace of God to erode that

  Speaker 1: memory from them. Anytime they see you, they assume this
• 23:27
  Speaker 1: unserious person is here again. Let me tell you the truth.

  Speaker 1: And I mean this, no disrespect. In the minds of people,

  Speaker 1: they have arranged preachers according to different categories. very serious
• 23:40
  Speaker 1: serious are we together less as fair jokers and maybe
• 23:46
  Speaker 1: evildoers so by the time they see people there are
• 23:52
  Speaker 1: some that their presence is just entertainment there are others
• 23:54
  Speaker 1: that well they are not really sure it depends on

  Speaker 1: the salmon there are others who they know these people

  Speaker 1: are always serious if they show up they are showing

  Speaker 1: up to bless I'm praying for you. May you not

  Speaker 1: join a nonsense category in people's mind because of incompetence.

  Speaker 1: will help us. Job chapter 28, I believe from verse

  Speaker 1: 7 and 8, Job was speaking by the Spirit and

  Speaker 1: he said, There is a path which no fowl knoweth.

  Speaker 1: That means even though they have an advantage of altitude.
• 42:44
  Speaker 1: The paths should not be a miracle or a wonder
• 42:49
  Speaker 1: for the fowl like the eagle. Because by reason of
• 42:52
  Speaker 1: the advantage of altitude. They are able to see even
• 42:56
  Speaker 1: paths that humans cannot see. And yet Job is saying
• 42:59
  Speaker 1: there is a path. Which in spite of the altitude.

  Speaker 1: That advantage that the fowl, the bird of the air has.

  Speaker 1: And the vulture's eye that they are not able to

  Speaker 1: see it. Verse 8. It says the lion's whelps have

  Speaker 1: king of the jungle. And I've watched a number of

  Speaker 1: documentaries on lions. They are very bold. They do not fear.

  Speaker 1: is any creature that stands their way. Especially if it's alone.

  Speaker 1: a pride. For no reason they will kill it. They've

  Speaker 1: yet he's saying as bold, as courageous, as audacious as

  Speaker 1: the lion is, there are certain paths that with its intelligence, intuition,

  Speaker 1: parts in the spirit that only the Holy Ghost can

  Speaker 1: are two creatures that Jesus, God himself, likens himself. He

  Speaker 1: all kinds of blessings, but that for any serious believer

  Speaker 1: ascending the kind of influence that gives the church a

  Speaker 1: voice in society. The side effect is that we present

  Speaker 1: a lopsided view of God. It is the reason why

  Speaker 1: unbelievers today have the credence to mock the church. And

  Speaker 1: they make it look like all we do is just pray,

  Speaker 1: fall down fast and we are useless to ourselves and

  Speaker 1: to society. And based on the definition we have given them,

  Speaker 1: there's some element of truth in what they are saying.

  Speaker 1: So when believers are being taught, when you bring the

  Speaker 1: subject of holiness, righteousness, consecration, living a devoted life, pressing
• 54:27
  Speaker 1: towards perfection in Christ, that must be a priority. But
• 54:31
  Speaker 1: in addition to that, in addition to that, you must
• 54:35
  Speaker 1: broaden the understanding of believers to see that they are
• 54:38
  Speaker 1: in this earth, And their lives must be useful. And

  Speaker 1: are unable to reconcile their passion, their consecration, that they

  Speaker 1: have lived a life void of bribery, void of corruption,
• 55:27
  Speaker 1: a life that is truly dedicated and consecrated unto God.

  Speaker 1: The Bible says to seek first His kingdom and all
• 55:34
  Speaker 1: other things, you see. And that scripture has not been
• 55:37
  Speaker 1: explained properly yet. And unfortunately there are many people right
• 55:41
  Speaker 1: now whose is like their passion for God is becoming
• 55:44
  Speaker 1: a curse to their lives. Because they are not able
• 55:46
  Speaker 1: to make progress in any other aspect of life. Their
• 55:50
  Speaker 1: wives are asking them questions they cannot answer. Their children
• 55:53
  Speaker 1: are asking them questions they cannot answer. Their companies and
• 55:57
  Speaker 1: corporations are asking them questions they cannot answer. Their finances
• 56:01
  Speaker 1: are asking them questions they cannot answer. And at the
• 56:05
  Speaker 1: end of it, the danger of this kind of incomplete theology,
• 56:10
  Speaker 1: like we are experiencing now, is that there is a
• 56:13
  Speaker 1: generation of young people who are rising. They are more audacious.
• 56:17
  Speaker 1: They have laws and policies that can defend their convictions.
• 56:21
  Speaker 1: They are asking all the generations before them, I am
• 56:24
  Speaker 1: not interested in this logic. This, your spiritual logic, does
• 56:28
  Speaker 1: not add up. Some of them will say, I watched
• 56:31
  Speaker 1: my missionary father love the Lord and yet he was
• 56:34
  Speaker 1: in debt till he died. Like the sons of the prophet.

  Speaker 1: I watched my father, he would not take bribe, yet
• 56:40
  Speaker 1: we never had the opportunity to do this and that.

  Speaker 1: Some of them will tell you, I got into prostitution
• 56:45
  Speaker 1: even though I'm a pastor's daughter. Simply because of this
• 56:49
  Speaker 1: kind of frustrated life. We had morning devotion every morning.
• 56:53
  Speaker 1: Morning and night devotion before we would sleep. And I
• 56:56
  Speaker 1: saw my father quarrel with my mother. They never were
• 56:58
  Speaker 1: able to live in peace. You see, it is very
• 57:03
  Speaker 1: dangerous when the whole council of God is not communicated
• 57:07
  Speaker 1: to God's people. I've been an advocate of meting out
• 57:11
  Speaker 1: the whole council of God. Because as powerful... As the
• 57:15
  Speaker 1: various dimensions of God are. They become poisonous and even dangerous.

  Speaker 1: When believers only cherry pick one dimension. And build their
• 57:25
  Speaker 1: entire theology around it. For a while it may not
• 57:29
  Speaker 1: seem to be destructive. Until God grants you grace to advance.

  Speaker 1: Then you begin to see the cancer that is producing.

  Speaker 1: So this is another addition. that in addition to your

  Speaker 1: loving jesus living a consecrated life following hard after him

  Speaker 1: loving him beyond things you must have this at the

  Speaker 1: your heritage in christ please look up being successful does

  Speaker 1: not take you to hell living a victorious christian life

  Speaker 1: does not take you to hell are we together Desiring

  Speaker 1: greatness and attaining the same in your lifetime does not

  Speaker 1: of God's glory you cannot capture and you cannot reveal.

  Speaker 1: Very angry. Because some of them, if they had an

  Speaker 1: opportunity to hear the whole counsel of God. Look, let

  Speaker 1: me tell you the truth. When you are taught God properly,

  Speaker 1: it doesn't make sense to reject. him. Are we together now?

  Speaker 1: have not seen the consequence of not knowing those things. Eventually,

  Speaker 1: be with the Lord. The senior brother goes to be

  Speaker 1: with the Lord. And they are exposed to a vicious

  Speaker 1: reality of something they have ignored for years. Some of
• 1:00:27
  Speaker 1: them get to learn that lesson when they get into
• 1:00:29
  Speaker 1: family life. They carry their childishness and immaturity and find
• 1:00:33
  Speaker 1: out that it's tearing their homes into pieces. And now,
• 1:00:37
  Speaker 1: unlearning it becomes harder. It's like a man of 40
• 1:00:41
  Speaker 1: years going to nursery class with a short knicker and
• 1:00:44
  Speaker 1: a vest. You know, I've made that example in this place.

  Speaker 1: That while the teacher is teaching younger people, the man
• 1:00:51
  Speaker 1: is sleeping. And the teacher says, number one, why are

  Speaker 1: you learning this at this age? Says, well, no knowledge

  Speaker 1: is a waste. But the man will barely learn anything there. Nobody,

  Speaker 1: he can't play with anybody. Look at the kind of
