A 27-year-old man, Jesus Cancino Garcia, received a six-year prison sentence after a deadly drunk driving crash on I-680 in Fremont that killed 23-year-old Anjali Nand, a recent college grad preparing to start law school. Garcia, who was driving the wrong way and intoxicated, collided head-on with a BMW, critically injuring both drivers but fatally injuring Anjali.
