- 0:45Speaker 1: be returning to our regular programming with our review of
- 0:48Speaker 1: e Pluribus Wigham from season nineteen, and safe to say,
- 0:51Speaker 1: we did not enjoy that episode not much at all,
- 0:55Speaker 1: probably one of the worst episodes I think I've ever
- 0:58Speaker 1: reviewed here in my nine and a half year as
- 1:00Speaker 1: a four figure discount artist. Didn't enjoy it at all,
- 1:02Speaker 1: but that's a bit of a tease for next week.

- 1:27Speaker 1: As I said, it was recorded two years ago, so
- 1:29Speaker 1: if anything sounds out of date, that would be why.

- 1:43Speaker 2: Geez, we hardly made a debt to that ten foot, Hogy,
- 1:47Speaker 2: give it a good hope.
- 1:50Speaker 3: We've been eating that thing for a week. I think
- 1:52Speaker 3: the mayonnaise is starting to turn.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Two more feet.
- 1:55Speaker 3: No, I can fit it in the fridge, Homer. I
- 1:58Speaker 3: found this behind the radiator. I really think you should
- 2:01Speaker 3: throw it away.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Suggestion noted Marge. I'd like to be alone with the
- 2:08Speaker 4: sandwich for a moment.
- 2:10Speaker 5: Are you going to eat it?
- 2:13Speaker 4: Yes? Oh?
- 2:17Speaker 6: Four finger Discount dude.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Welcome to this very special edition of four Fingered Discount.
- 2:37Speaker 1: It is a four figure discount revisited classic. This week,
- 2:40Speaker 1: we are going all the way back to season four.
- 2:42Speaker 1: It is episode thirteen, episode nine f one one. It
- 2:46Speaker 1: is Salma's choice. I am Dando.
- 2:48Speaker 4: I am Guy Dando. How I am?
- 2:50Speaker 1: I man, I'm doing fantastic? How about you?
- 2:53Speaker 4: Not too? Dad? Little tired. I've got to say I
- 2:57Speaker 4: sort of had one of those wonderful things where you
- 3:00Speaker 4: wake up maybe quarter five, and you realize nap, no,
- 3:06Speaker 4: I can't get back to sleep.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I am in the morning. I think this after and
- 3:08Speaker 1: I'm like, wait a minute, okay, yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 4: No, no, that was given realized wonderful days when you
- 3:15Speaker 4: take up at five.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I tuned up for a second. I heard Holly running
- 3:20Speaker 1: down the hallway. I was like, and I came back
- 3:22Speaker 1: in and You're like, cor to five. I wake up,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and I'm like, wait a minute.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Meanwhile, you're saying, oh, that sounds marvelous. What a sleeping.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I know, but I know those times when you wake
- 3:33Speaker 1: up and it's so close to your usual wake up
- 3:35Speaker 1: time that you just go, what's the point you even
- 3:36Speaker 1: going back to sleep?
- 3:37Speaker 7: Oh?
- 3:37Speaker 4: Not even that. I was like, Oh, I mean, I've
- 3:40Speaker 4: not trained myself, but I do have that ability or
- 3:44Speaker 4: that tendency to look at the car and go, I'm
- 3:47Speaker 4: not really supposed to get up for another two hours.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Let's try and pull it off, or at least have
- 3:52Speaker 4: a nice sort of being that nice in between state.
- 3:55Speaker 4: I'm not quite a week but not quite asleep. But no,
- 3:57Speaker 4: this was just you're up, so and I was staying
- 4:01Speaker 4: with the lovely Louise who she had woken up as well.
- 4:04Speaker 4: And I won't say she woke me up because I
- 4:07Speaker 4: think it was just a lovely coincidence that we were
- 4:08Speaker 4: both awake. But she went back to sleep, and I
- 4:11Speaker 4: was just lying there, going, well, I can I just
- 4:13Speaker 4: lie here? Yeah, she'll hate me saying this, but I
- 4:18Speaker 4: sort of gave her a little bit nuts. I think
- 4:20Speaker 4: I'm going to go down stairs. She don't wake me
- 4:22Speaker 4: up again?
- 4:26Speaker 1: He gave her the Maggie treatment from but on the
- 4:28Speaker 1: road pretty well.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I wanted to wake up and find that I was
- 4:32Speaker 4: not there. Then when I came back up a few
- 4:34Speaker 4: hours later, she said, did I say, don't wake me
- 4:37Speaker 4: up again? Sorry? Brother?
- 4:39Speaker 1: What were your What were your thoughts at that point
- 4:41Speaker 1: where you, like, she said don't wake me up again?
- 4:43Speaker 1: Were like, Oh, I've pissed her off? What do I do?
- 4:45Speaker 4: I was like that, that's valid. I probably would have
- 4:49Speaker 4: said the same thing if someone, if someone woke me
- 4:51Speaker 4: up and said I'm awaken, I'm going to go down stairs.
- 4:54Speaker 4: And there's something nice.
- 4:56Speaker 1: There's something nice about waking up early though, where you
- 4:59Speaker 1: feel like you've just got the extra time too, because
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'm horrible in the mornings. I like when I wake
- 5:04Speaker 1: up and it's like this, it's very quiet. You can
- 5:05Speaker 1: hear the magpies, you know, out and out there. The
- 5:08Speaker 1: sun's starting to come up. It's not too but it's
- 5:11Speaker 1: gonna be not too cold. It's too cold for that.
- 5:12Speaker 1: But when it's just just nice and you go outside
- 5:15Speaker 1: and you're like, this is this is pleasant, life is good.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Well this morning was the opposite of that. But yeah
- 5:20Speaker 4: it was freezing because it was effing freezing. And you
- 5:23Speaker 4: know what we heard instead of Jackhammer's next door starting
- 5:30Speaker 4: at about seven the worst To the young dude's credit,
- 5:34Speaker 4: who was part of the work team, I was walking
- 5:37Speaker 4: down to get in my car and this guy look
- 5:39Speaker 4: at me said mate, sorry, I'm like, what are you
- 5:44Speaker 4: gonna do? But but ready to go read to talk
- 5:49Speaker 4: about some shows and quite happy to do. So this
- 5:53Speaker 4: was this was fun.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just a great combo of laughs and heart,
- 5:56Speaker 1: isn't it.
- 5:57Speaker 4: It really is. And here's the thing. I don't know,
- 6:00Speaker 4: not that it shouldn't work as well as it does,
- 6:02Speaker 4: but it's kind of all over the place.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's a bit of a it's like it's
- 6:06Speaker 1: a having fun, random wacky anti to the theme park
- 6:09Speaker 1: story mixed with a story of a woman trying to
- 6:11Speaker 1: find herself.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Yeah, it's you think it's going or it's got like
- 6:16Speaker 4: an A and a B plot, but then it's got
- 6:18Speaker 4: like an A one plot, B one plot, got the
- 6:21Speaker 4: home place, well A two plotter B two plot. So
- 6:25Speaker 4: it's like it's switching tracks and there's there's a lot
- 6:28Speaker 4: going on in this episode, but it all comes together and,
- 6:30Speaker 4: as you say, a really fantastic combination of humor and heart.
- 6:36Speaker 1: And it's just a really nice way of developing the
- 6:39Speaker 1: character of Selma because we didn't get too much of
- 6:41Speaker 1: the sisters in the earlier seasons. I think the first
- 6:44Speaker 1: time we got true development with the with the sisters
- 6:47Speaker 1: was in Principal Charming where Salma's hot for Skinner but
- 6:50Speaker 1: then he has the hots for Patty instead, which is
- 6:53Speaker 1: a good episode from season two. But this is the
- 6:55Speaker 1: first time we really really dalved into Salma. I think
- 6:57Speaker 1: I think this was before Black Widowa where she started
- 6:59Speaker 1: dating uh Sicho Bob, where she married Sicho Bob. But yeah,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I just really enjoyed this. I just thought it was
- 7:05Speaker 1: really sweet how by the end she was just content
- 7:07Speaker 1: and happy with where she was in life. She got jubjub.
- 7:10Speaker 1: You know, she's she's realized I wanted kids, but maybe
- 7:13Speaker 1: I'm just len up to it. But she's found something
- 7:14Speaker 1: to fill that gap.
- 7:16Speaker 4: She's found something or someone to care for. And yeah,
- 7:21Speaker 4: you need to have a vessel for your affection, yes,
- 7:25Speaker 4: whether it's another person or an animal or whatever. Yeah,
- 7:30Speaker 4: and this episode did that really well.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Because they always positioned Patty and Samma as the mean
- 7:35Speaker 1: sister in law who are always putting down our hero Homer.
- 7:38Speaker 1: It's like they're always just bitches. But in this they
- 7:41Speaker 1: really humanized Patty to an extent. I really humanized somewhere
- 7:44Speaker 1: and made you go, ah, there's a reason, Like I
- 7:46Speaker 1: know she's wise cracking with Homer, but even by the
- 7:49Speaker 1: end of it there where she she home is the
- 7:51Speaker 1: one that she actually opens up to.
- 7:53Speaker 4: Yeah. I really liked that moment of sort of grudging.
- 7:58Speaker 4: I don't know if what's respect, but certainly an acknowledgment that.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I'm sorry I've been this way because you've got a
- 8:05Speaker 1: hard job.
- 8:06Speaker 4: If home we can pull this off day after day,
- 8:08Speaker 4: and let's be honest, marg just doing most of the
- 8:09Speaker 4: heavy lifting. But if Homer can still, you know, keep
- 8:13Speaker 4: the keep a family alive till the end of the day,
- 8:17Speaker 4: you deserve some props for that, and it's great that
- 8:19Speaker 4: that someone actually gives it to him after just constantly
- 8:22Speaker 4: ragging on the guy for goodness knows how long.
- 8:24Speaker 1: There's just a little subtle bit of animation in that
- 8:27Speaker 1: moment there that I really enjoyed. And they don't sort
- 8:29Speaker 1: of focus on it's only down the bottom, but he
- 8:31Speaker 1: grabs it by the hands. Yeah, don't worry, was like,
- 8:36Speaker 1: this is this is really good. I never noticed him
- 8:37Speaker 1: grabbing her hands before. It was a nice touch.
- 8:40Speaker 4: It's actually he was nice. He was sort of touchy
- 8:43Speaker 4: feeling all the way through. I mean, I don't think
- 8:45Speaker 4: I think it was just the done thing for him
- 8:47Speaker 4: to give them both a hug and they're like, man,
- 8:51Speaker 4: And I don't think his heart was in it all
- 8:52Speaker 4: that much as well, but it's like at least his yes, yeah,
- 8:57Speaker 4: sorry I interrupted, you please go on.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I know I was just gonna bring up du Gardens
- 9:00Speaker 1: and just a piss take of Disneyland, but that what
- 9:03Speaker 1: a great piss take.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Well yeah, I mean, you really feel like you've actually
- 9:08Speaker 4: spent a day at Dove Gardens with this episode. I've
- 9:10Speaker 4: forgotten this was the Tough Gardens episode.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I this is the thing, right, So I remember they
- 9:15Speaker 1: went to a theme part, but for some reason I
- 9:17Speaker 1: forgot that it was dough Gardens. I'm like, they go
- 9:20Speaker 1: somewhere with someone. Because I hadn'tatched this one in a
- 9:22Speaker 1: long time, probably since we did a review I did
- 9:24Speaker 1: my review of Mitch like several years ago. So when
- 9:26Speaker 1: I first had this episode on tape, because you know,
- 9:29Speaker 1: you used to always take the episodes back in the day,
- 9:31Speaker 1: the tape episodes of your favorite shows, and you just
- 9:33Speaker 1: rerun those tapes over and over again. So this episode here,
- 9:37Speaker 1: I always missed the first two or three minutes. I
- 9:39Speaker 1: always I remember I pushed record as they were pulling
- 9:41Speaker 1: up to pick up Patty and Selma. So when it's
- 9:44Speaker 1: kicked off with the Tough Gardens commercial, I was like,
- 9:46Speaker 1: oh shit, that's right. But the first two minutes always
- 9:48Speaker 1: catches me off guard because I never watched it. You know,
- 9:51Speaker 1: it wasn't on my It's not part of because it
- 9:53Speaker 1: becomes muscle memory, you know when you watch it. You
- 9:55Speaker 1: know when you watch a movie that used to watch
- 9:56Speaker 1: where it used to have the cut to commercial break,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and you watch it so much that you watch the
- 10:00Speaker 1: movie now and you're always expecting it to go to
- 10:02Speaker 1: commercial at that point. Yeah, So it's just like that
- 10:04Speaker 1: for me here where I'm just like, ah shit, that's right,
- 10:07Speaker 1: this happens at the start. But how great is the commercial?
- 10:11Speaker 4: It really works because I love that Homer is just
- 10:14Speaker 4: as thrilled. I mean, of course he'd be thrilled to
- 10:16Speaker 4: go to deugh Gardens, but you normally.
- 10:19Speaker 8: The kids, Yeah yeah, yeah, But I was just like, whoa,
- 10:24Speaker 8: And it's good the relationship between the kids and Homer,
- 10:26Speaker 8: and this where I see a little bit of myself
- 10:29Speaker 8: in this episode where I loved when Bart goes.
- 10:32Speaker 1: It's not gonna be any fun without your dad, I
- 10:34Speaker 1: was like, that's really nice that they want to have
- 10:37Speaker 1: him there because he's part of the experience. They know
- 10:39Speaker 1: he would make it more enjoyable because he's a big
- 10:41Speaker 1: kid at heart.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Also, it was nice to see Homer and Marge getting
- 10:45Speaker 1: some alone time watching The Eurotic Adventures of Hercules.
- 10:49Speaker 4: I don't know if we want to cut to our
- 10:50Speaker 4: favorite moments, but I just think it is incredibly cute
- 10:53Speaker 4: watching soft call with your sweetheart.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Just a psychosyropylo was and the giggle, but all of that,
- 11:04Speaker 1: I mean, just I mean it is.
- 11:06Speaker 4: That is one of my all time just favorite bits
- 11:10Speaker 4: from the Sentences The Rotic Adventures of Mecas. Just it
- 11:15Speaker 4: really nails that kinde of dumb ass sword and sorcery
- 11:18Speaker 4: movie that I watched a bunch of in the eighties
- 11:20Speaker 4: Hercules the cyclist ripped off my clothes. It's so funny,
- 11:26Speaker 4: isn't it. It's fantastic. Yeah. I was so happy in
- 11:30Speaker 4: all the discoveries that I made in this episode, or
- 11:33Speaker 4: not that I made. But it's like, oh, it's got
- 11:35Speaker 4: this because like I didn't realize it was tough gardens, Like, okay,
- 11:39Speaker 4: so Duff Garden's got surly Yeah. But then it's like,
- 11:42Speaker 4: oh so daft guns, duff beer for me, lizard queen
- 11:45Speaker 4: and all that kind of stuff. Oh wow, this is
- 11:48Speaker 4: this is like a real grab not a grab bag
- 11:50Speaker 4: of show bag. Yeah, big fucking deluxe show bag of
- 11:53Speaker 4: an episode.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So many, so many bits. Yeah. And as you said,
- 11:56Speaker 1: it catches you off guard because it starts kind of slow,
- 11:57Speaker 1: but it really builds, doesn't it. That that last time
- 11:59Speaker 1: minutes is just bang bang bang bang, gag gag gag.
- 12:03Speaker 1: But the start it's got the start's got its last
- 12:05Speaker 1: but it's it's a very different episode the first half.
- 12:09Speaker 4: I mean, I think leading up to the funeral and stuff,
- 12:13Speaker 4: all the stuff at the funeral and and the and
- 12:15Speaker 4: the will reading on the videotape, that feels very like
- 12:18Speaker 4: season one or season two to.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Me, but that's there just to establish the Salma story.
- 12:21Speaker 1: But that in the meantime, I've still got Homer. You know,
- 12:24Speaker 1: they remind you of the start Duff Gardens. They go
- 12:26Speaker 1: to the funeral, they establish the summer story, then bam,
- 12:29Speaker 1: they're watching the Duff Gardens trailer again. And yeah, but
- 12:32Speaker 1: it feels like two completely different episodes.
- 12:34Speaker 4: It does. Yeah, and once the momentum starts to pick up,
- 12:37Speaker 4: it's like, oh, okay, this is feeling more early vintage Simpsons,
- 12:41Speaker 4: which it is. It's season four, so yeah.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I want I was watching this go on. I wonder
- 12:45Speaker 1: if Guy can relate to this, because I feel like
- 12:48Speaker 1: you you would be a great dad. I know, I
- 12:50Speaker 1: know you like to be the fun uncle, but I
- 12:52Speaker 1: can imagine you taking kids to a theme park and going,
- 12:54Speaker 1: oh fucking hell.
- 12:56Speaker 4: All this.
- 12:59Speaker 1: The eye Deer is nice.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Absolutely. Look, I've had experiences where I've taken little folks
- 13:05Speaker 4: to big events and all that kind of business, like, yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 4: we have to keep Hey, you got to watch them
- 13:11Speaker 4: all the time, huh. And I thought that I thought
- 13:16Speaker 4: the place was meant to keep him amused. What I've
- 13:18Speaker 4: got to do some work too, Come on, I can
- 13:20Speaker 4: just leave and go over a beer. Yeah, yeah, so
- 13:25Speaker 4: I did relate very much. Hey, look a bench.
- 13:27Speaker 1: That's exactly the moment I was thinking of. I'm like,
- 13:30Speaker 1: this is yeah, that's very much me. So a couple
- 13:36Speaker 1: of facts before we get into our favorite moment, So,
- 13:39Speaker 1: aren't glad? It's her love of collecting celebrities that look
- 13:41Speaker 1: like potato chips was based on Myrtle Young, who once
- 13:44Speaker 1: appeared She was not a famous but that person who
- 13:47Speaker 1: collected potato chips look like celebrities. And she was made
- 13:50Speaker 1: famous by appearing on the Johnny Carson Show. Have you
- 13:53Speaker 1: seen the clip? It is Carson at his best. So
- 13:58Speaker 1: this adorable elderly lady on there, she's gone, this one
- 14:01Speaker 1: looks like a pair, and this one looks like Rodney
- 14:04Speaker 1: Dangerfield and she's hold him not right, she's hold him
- 14:07Speaker 1: not so proud of him. And then he gets ed
- 14:09Speaker 1: to go, oh what about these ones? And she looks away,
- 14:11Speaker 1: and Johnny grabs a chip from a different bowl and
- 14:13Speaker 1: starts eating it and crunches really loud, and she turns
- 14:15Speaker 1: and looks at him. She thinks he's eating a collection's
- 14:20Speaker 1: vintage car, and he goes, oh, no, don't you thought
- 14:24Speaker 1: I was eating your collection. Oh no, no, no, I've
- 14:26Speaker 1: got this ball. Why would they do this to you?
- 14:28Speaker 1: And he's just playing as well. Honestly, YouTube it is
- 14:31Speaker 1: so worth it. Also, by the way, I found it
- 14:33Speaker 1: because it was a suggestive video after that one Rodney
- 14:36Speaker 1: Dangerfield making Carson fall out of his chair laughing, Oh brilliant.
- 14:40Speaker 1: So he's apparently Rodney Dangerfield had a tendency to not
- 14:43Speaker 1: know how to end interviews. He was just like, he
- 14:45Speaker 1: just really off gag gag, gag, gag, gag. And he
- 14:48Speaker 1: watched him in this one and Carson sused to just
- 14:49Speaker 1: let him go because he's like, well, he's just gonna
- 14:51Speaker 1: keep going. And Carson's sitting there and he can tell
- 14:53Speaker 1: Dangerfiel's just like, yeah, I'm out of ideas. So he
- 14:56Speaker 1: turns to is it James Mason the actor? Oh yeah, yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 1: just turn him. He's he's doing all these gags. He
- 15:01Speaker 1: just turned to me and goes, so, what's new with you?
- 15:05Speaker 4: Ah? Oh, I can't wait.
- 15:08Speaker 1: It's a car and just falls out of his chair.
- 15:12Speaker 1: So what's new with you?

- 15:43Speaker 4: Homer cracking himself up at the legend of the Dog
- 15:45Speaker 4: Faced Woman, so he thinks it's so funny that he
- 15:47Speaker 4: can't remember to keep it to himself. Legend of the

- 16:41Speaker 4: with your sweetheart, curl ebon in bed of the afternoon,
- 16:44Speaker 4: and even just the vidrants of the feet sort.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Of animation of the toes.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Just yeah, it's so good, ah lovely, I mean funny
- 16:52Speaker 4: as fun, but also just heartwarming. And speaking of heart warming,
- 16:55Speaker 4: I just love the close out. I mean, what good
- 16:57Speaker 4: is the end? It nearly brought me to tear is yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 4: because it's just And I waited around for the very
- 17:04Speaker 4: end of the credits because I wanted to find out
- 17:05Speaker 4: who sang the version of you make Me Feel like
- 17:08Speaker 4: a natural woman, and it's I haven't heard of this
- 17:11Speaker 4: perform before, but Michelle Pillar or Pillar did the vocals.
- 17:16Speaker 4: And well, I mean, first of all, you've got Julie
- 17:19Speaker 4: singing it, and that's what really sort of got me just, oh,
- 17:22Speaker 4: that's that's really nice.
- 17:24Speaker 1: She feels complete now, yeah she does.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Yeah, it's you know, it's not the American idol rendition,
- 17:29Speaker 4: but it's the heartfelt rendition. I thought it was really
- 17:31Speaker 4: good and then to seg into sege sorry, into a
- 17:35Speaker 4: very nice, more professional, but equally heartfelt rendition. Loved it,
- 17:40Speaker 4: really really good way to close out this app There
- 17:42Speaker 4: are other bits, but we'll talk about.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I've always loved the another place match, sir, please.

- 18:28Speaker 1: It's got so many bits and finally take this and
- 18:31Speaker 1: this and then these. I thank you doctor. Oh I'm
- 18:34Speaker 1: not a doctor. Next question, you there eating the beast.
- 18:41Speaker 1: All right, it's time for some trivia. But before we
- 18:43Speaker 1: do some trivia, let's read out. I tweet all the
- 18:45Speaker 1: patrons because we love them so much.
- 18:47Speaker 4: Keep the lights on, let's do it.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Yeah, Christopher Derby, Andrews, Jordan Derby, Christopher, Trent Abby. I'm
- 18:52Speaker 1: gonna write that here now, Trent Derby, he probably hates
- 18:57Speaker 1: that thing. Andrews, Jordan Mulman, Richie, Steve Haam, Champion, Dylan Haget,
- 19:01Speaker 1: Sally Kimberly, Hanks Scorpio, Kevin Dental, Planned Flood, Jonathan Rossi,
- 19:05Speaker 1: Zach Pruitt, Timothy Burson, Joel Yolande kat g Daniel Kotnick,
- 19:10Speaker 1: Shannon Hofer, Jenna, Rice Rhys, Roberts, Adam Sanders and George Mcmahermee,
- 19:14Speaker 1: Stephen Roberts, Seawan DV Butler, winder Bank, David Stewart, Tom Pickering,
- 19:17Speaker 1: Mark Boston Burgess, Decklan Phoenix and grants given.
- 19:20Speaker 9: No.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I thank you so much guys for your ongoing support.
- 19:24Speaker 1: All right, so trivia Forcealmer's choice. My first question is
- 19:28Speaker 1: what is the name of the roller coaster at Duff
- 19:30Speaker 1: Gardens that will be complete in nineteen ninety four.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Well, it's the Whiplash and I was gonna ask when's
- 19:36Speaker 4: it gonna be competing? Okay, okay, where is the funeral
- 19:42Speaker 4: of Gladys being held?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Are the name of the business?
- 19:45Speaker 4: Oh? The name of the town?
- 19:47Speaker 1: Oh? I don't know what is it?
- 19:48Speaker 4: It's Little neck Falls, Little neck Falls.
- 19:50Speaker 1: What's the name of the business? I did write that
- 19:52Speaker 1: down in my notes somewhere low expected as it last
- 19:54Speaker 1: the dating service. Yeah. I didn't see the name of
- 19:56Speaker 1: the funeral home, or it does have a name, the
- 20:00Speaker 1: Lucky Stiff Funeral Home. My next question is which poet.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Was she reading a poem of.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Hey Frost, you want some snow man?
- 20:14Speaker 1: It's probably We discussed this and I said, no, no,
- 20:19Speaker 1: so good. It's such an American host some snow.
- 20:27Speaker 4: I know we're talking about we're talking about another episode beards,
- 20:30Speaker 4: and I've said this when we've talked about this episode
- 20:32Speaker 4: in the past. Frost is reading his lovely part cross
- 20:36Speaker 4: into the bullard faces, like want some snow man. We
- 20:43Speaker 4: discussed this further and I said, no, your next question,
- 20:50Speaker 4: So my question you according to the edited videotape, how
- 20:56Speaker 4: much heads have been left to Lionel hearts fifty dollars.
- 21:00Speaker 1: You'd be surprised how much that works. It's always lovely
- 21:03Speaker 1: having Phil Hartman on board, isn't It.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Got him down in green here Lionel Hutch just earning
- 21:09Speaker 4: that fee by pushing a button? What a lord? Pretty sweet?
- 21:13Speaker 1: Huh. Every line that Phil Hartman reads is just beautiful.
- 21:20Speaker 1: It's just a genius. My next question is how many
- 21:23Speaker 1: immigrant laborers died building the pyramid twelve twenty two? I
- 21:29Speaker 1: was twenty two. Twelve people died at the camp of
- 21:32Speaker 1: the way we worked, okay with that? Do you know
- 21:35Speaker 1: where that came from?
- 21:39Speaker 4: It's terrible. It's a terrible thing to say, but very
- 21:43Speaker 4: very funny in the circumstance. Similar question, how many men
- 21:50Speaker 4: can lift the beyramid?
- 21:53Speaker 1: Or was it five?
- 21:54Speaker 4: It was five?
- 21:55Speaker 1: Five? My final question is who is the net? What
- 22:00Speaker 1: the name of Mitch's supervisor?
- 22:03Speaker 4: You better start it? Oh it was a gym, gym?
- 22:06Speaker 1: Well done?
- 22:06Speaker 4: Yes, I was thinking. I was also thinking of the
- 22:10Speaker 4: guy the checkout boys, the bag boy and yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 22:13Speaker 4: because I think it was Albert Albert.
- 22:15Speaker 1: And Arnold was one Arnold and shut up Arnold, go
- 22:18Speaker 1: for it, man, go for a man.
- 22:22Speaker 5: Ah.
- 22:22Speaker 4: I missed the days of this is how old I am?
- 22:25Speaker 4: I actually remember bag boys?
- 22:27Speaker 1: We have bag boys here, did we?
- 22:32Speaker 4: I think there was there was a stage where this
- 22:35Speaker 4: is when I was a very little kid. I'm pretty
- 22:37Speaker 4: sure you had like double up at the counter and
- 22:39Speaker 4: someone was ringing it through when someone would bag it
- 22:41Speaker 4: for you.
- 22:41Speaker 1: They still do that in America. Yeah, I didn't know
- 22:45Speaker 1: what was going on that. She was like, you're supposed
- 22:47Speaker 1: to tip him, And I'm like, but you met to
- 22:49Speaker 1: tip the bag boy, tip the bag boy.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Ah, And it feels like for a side tipping the
- 22:56Speaker 4: bag tapping the bag boy.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I was like I was like walking out in the
- 22:59Speaker 1: security guys, like you're supposed to tip the bag boy,
- 23:02Speaker 1: but you're.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Just fucking putting shit in the bag.
- 23:04Speaker 1: I could have done that for helf.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Oh Man.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Anyway, all right, that is trivia.
- 23:11Speaker 4: I'll do. You have one more question for me. I
- 23:12Speaker 4: have one more question for you. The aforementioned sperm bank
- 23:15Speaker 4: was established in what year?
- 23:18Speaker 1: I have no idea. I'm going to say nineteen fifty one.
- 23:23Speaker 4: You'd be so wrong, but but sort of close because
- 23:26Speaker 4: it was eighteen fifty eight. Oh, not bad.
- 23:29Speaker 1: I was one hundred and seven years correct, one hundred
- 23:31Speaker 1: and seven that right? No about that? Is it fifty
- 23:35Speaker 1: one fifty eight?
- 23:36Speaker 4: Oh?
- 23:36Speaker 1: I don't know. No, No, the it's not one hundred
- 23:39Speaker 1: ninety ninety three ninety three? Yes, I thought it was
- 23:42Speaker 1: the way aroun all right, that is trivia for Summer's Choice.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Let's get into the review. So what I liked about
- 23:46Speaker 1: this was we had the full intro again, we had
- 23:48Speaker 1: the chalkboil gag and a couch gag. We have a
- 23:50Speaker 1: full old school intro. So the the original air date
- 23:53Speaker 1: though before that was January twenty first, nineteen ninety three,
- 23:57Speaker 1: well ninety three It was written by David M. Stern
- 24:00Speaker 1: and directed by Carlos and Beazer, and it had the
- 24:04Speaker 1: chop or gag of I will not yell She's dead
- 24:06Speaker 1: during roll call and the cash gag as well, where
- 24:08Speaker 1: the Simpsons family is caught by a net on the ground.
- 24:12Speaker 1: The episode kicks off with the Lance Murdoch commercial for
- 24:15Speaker 1: Duff Gardens.
- 24:16Speaker 4: I'm very glad that that was not one of your
- 24:18Speaker 4: trivia questions what is the name of the stunt man?
- 24:19Speaker 4: Because I was I was thinking before we started recording.
- 24:23Speaker 4: It's like, I'm not trying to pre empty your or
- 24:27Speaker 4: pre guess your trivia questions, and I'm like, what if
- 24:30Speaker 4: you asked me about the stunt man, I should look
- 24:31Speaker 4: it up. Because I was in my head it was like,
- 24:34Speaker 4: it's a brock Landers And then I was like, no,
- 24:37Speaker 4: that's that's Markie, Mark's private detective name in Boogie Nights.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Brocklanders anyway, but sorry, I.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Still would have given you a point. Are we giving
- 24:51Speaker 1: you a point for that?
- 24:53Speaker 4: All right? But it's Lance Murdoch who on.
- 24:57Speaker 1: The whiplash He's crashed after going over sixteen blazing car.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Do they still do? Do we still have stuntman? I know,
- 25:03Speaker 4: we have krusty demons in the Extreme Games and all
- 25:06Speaker 4: that shit, but do we have any like evil Canievil types,
- 25:09Speaker 4: any devils?
- 25:10Speaker 1: Don't know if we do. We have more like I think,
- 25:13Speaker 1: like Chris, what's it he's a magician guy, Chris, Chris
- 25:16Speaker 1: Angel or Angel. We have more like like street performers
- 25:19Speaker 1: now more than like.
- 25:20Speaker 4: And I guess the jackass guys probably picked up the slack,
- 25:22Speaker 4: didn't they. And they're not even trying to, you know.
- 25:25Speaker 1: They're trying to succeed. They're like, I'm gonna let this
- 25:30Speaker 1: alligate to buy me in the nipple. Let's see what happens.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Oh man, not fun, but yeah, he goes on the
- 25:35Speaker 1: rise of Whiplash washing machine. We get the beer aquarium
- 25:37Speaker 1: with the drunk fish, and Homer says, warm up the car, kids,
- 25:40Speaker 1: or want the car. But we're going and we're going
- 25:42Speaker 1: to Duff Gardens. And if they ask you, what do
- 25:44Speaker 1: you say? We're under six and I'm accolage student. I
- 25:48Speaker 1: always say to Alliott, is that that age where you
- 25:52Speaker 1: can you can get him to lie where he looks
- 25:54Speaker 1: like he looks like he could be younger than four,
- 25:57Speaker 1: But he's not at the age where he knows. If
- 25:59Speaker 1: someone says how to you, he wouldn't say three, he'd
- 26:01Speaker 1: say four because he's too honest. He doesn't understand the
- 26:04Speaker 1: concept of lying it, which is a good thing. But
- 26:06Speaker 1: if I'm going to the movies or whatever, if we're
- 26:08Speaker 1: going somewhere and it's like kids under four eat free
- 26:10Speaker 1: and it turns four, he looks like you can still
- 26:13Speaker 1: can pass off as three. But they go, well, they
- 26:15Speaker 1: always the clever. They always ask the kid.
- 26:17Speaker 4: He's the big three year old who's eaten a lot
- 26:20Speaker 4: of free meals. That's why he's so good.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah, I mean, if you're ever running a
- 26:24Speaker 1: restaurant with that's the rule. You never asked the parent
- 26:25Speaker 1: because they're always gonna lie. You go, hey, buddy, how
- 26:27Speaker 1: old are you? I'm four. Motherfucker's trying to lie to me.
- 26:31Speaker 1: But yeah, so Homer's trying to get cheap tickets. Mars says,
- 26:34Speaker 1: I've got some bad news. Great Aunt Gladays has passed
- 26:36Speaker 1: away or she's passed on, and then Bar trying to
- 26:39Speaker 1: work out who is who is she? And she looked
- 26:43Speaker 1: like Aunt Patty. He shudders. March says, we can't go
- 26:47Speaker 1: to Duff Gardens. This weekend, we have to go to
- 26:49Speaker 1: the funeral instead. The kids are understanding, but Homer pouts
- 26:52Speaker 1: stupid dead woman Homer and then singing, I don't know
- 26:54Speaker 1: what the song is, but it's a song about spaghetti
- 26:56Speaker 1: and meatball and stuff. Yeah, well, is it an ad
- 26:59Speaker 1: for something?
- 27:00Speaker 4: The original song was on top of all smoky, on
- 27:02Speaker 4: top of all smokey, and they've done that.
- 27:05Speaker 1: It sounds like it seems to be. It could be
- 27:07Speaker 1: a TV jingle of some kind.
- 27:08Speaker 4: I think it's just the kid's version of like, you know,
- 27:10Speaker 4: it's almost like Batman smells in little jingle bells.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Okay, so on top of.
- 27:15Speaker 4: All spaghetti, you're covered in cheese. Yet I think it's
- 27:19Speaker 4: just a fun kids song. You sing in the car.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Marge's annoyed, so they sing Ding Dong the witches. Dad
- 27:25Speaker 1: In's dead. Then they pick up Paddy and Salmon. Homer
- 27:28Speaker 1: goes in for the big hug.
- 27:29Speaker 4: Just close your eyes. I wonder what Paddy. I wonder
- 27:35Speaker 4: first of all, what Patty and Cella would make of
- 27:39Speaker 4: the new mcguiva, and if they've ever made I've never
- 27:42Speaker 4: really watched it. I mean, it's it's funny that there
- 27:45Speaker 4: are now like new versions of Magnum and mcguiver because
- 27:49Speaker 4: it makes me feel old, not not really, but at
- 27:53Speaker 4: the same time, I'm like, I suppose to mcgiva when
- 27:55Speaker 4: I can handle. I mean, I remember I kind of
- 27:57Speaker 4: like that actor. I haven't seen him in much, but
- 27:59Speaker 4: I was like, I like that kid. But he goes
- 28:02Speaker 4: on to does do something, and I think he did
- 28:04Speaker 4: six seasons of mc guy, so his bills are paid
- 28:05Speaker 4: for a while. But rebooting Magnum, it's like, nah, I
- 28:12Speaker 4: don't know. I know Pattin's I'm a love Richard Dean Anderson,
- 28:15Speaker 4: but he's kind of replaceable. He's a bit forgettable. But
- 28:18Speaker 4: Tom Selleck is Magnum, you know, and you can't replace
- 28:20Speaker 4: you know. Tom Selleck is Magnum. No, just have that mustache,
- 28:24Speaker 4: no way, no way. So but I'd love it if
- 28:27Speaker 4: later episodes of the Symptons of sort of saying who's
- 28:32Speaker 4: this gaver.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Actually will be quite funny. I wonder if they do
- 28:36Speaker 1: do that, but hashtag not my mcgaver. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 28:39Speaker 1: They start like a fang like.
- 28:41Speaker 4: A campaign or something, yeh yeah, yeah yeah, to bring
- 28:43Speaker 4: back Richard Dan Anderson and then they kidnap him like misery,
- 28:48Speaker 4: all right, let's keep working on this spec script. Let's
- 28:50Speaker 4: do it.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Let's do it.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Unfortunately, they just canceled the new mcguy. Oh shit, okay,
- 28:56Speaker 4: damn it.
- 28:57Speaker 1: So that the kids they put the get you to
- 29:00Speaker 1: the car squashes Lisa and Patty and some were got
- 29:02Speaker 1: here smoking in the car with kids.
- 29:03Speaker 4: I was like, wow, you wouldn't would not see this
- 29:05Speaker 4: on TV anymore. No, but I mean, even at that stage,
- 29:09Speaker 4: this is not the right thing to do. But yeah,
- 29:12Speaker 4: I think that would be kneecapped at the script stage,
- 29:15Speaker 4: at the first draft stage.
- 29:17Speaker 10: I can't believe Anti Glays is really gone. A legend
- 29:21Speaker 10: will live forever.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Yeah, the legend of a dog faced woman.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Legend of the dog faced woman. Oh that's good.
- 29:33Speaker 8: That's very rude of you, but dog.
- 29:41Speaker 1: But he's so proud of it when you were just
- 29:43Speaker 1: laughing his head off.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Yeah, legend of the dope first woman.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Oh man, So they uh some of the requests, they
- 29:55Speaker 1: stop somewhere because their butts asleep, and they go to
- 29:57Speaker 1: the buzzing signed diner.
- 30:00Speaker 4: I'm almost there it, Oh.
- 30:07Speaker 6: Another place matter?
- 30:09Speaker 1: Please, Hey, you take a moment to remember Grant great
- 30:12Speaker 1: Unt Gladys and Marge thinks of what she thinks is
- 30:15Speaker 1: a nice memory. But it's not a nice memory. What
- 30:17Speaker 1: is it?
- 30:17Speaker 4: Oh, remind me that was Prince of Tides. Oh, that's
- 30:20Speaker 4: a lot of streisand in this episode, because Prince of
- 30:23Speaker 4: Tides are Barbara Streids movie, and so is Gentle a
- 30:26Speaker 4: little later on. So, oh my god, you're delirious. I
- 30:31Speaker 4: must admit I've only I think I've only seen The
- 30:33Speaker 4: Prince of Ties like once back when it came out
- 30:35Speaker 4: in the early nineties. Not a bad movie in all
- 30:38Speaker 4: of esty, but that bit of the whole. Oh, they
- 30:43Speaker 4: got the circle in the water and all that. It's like, oh,
- 30:45Speaker 4: this is very nice. What does this remind me of?
- 30:47Speaker 4: And then they said, wait a minute, that was Prince
- 30:49Speaker 4: of Tides. It's like, hey, that's what it was.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Right the Lucky Stiff funeral home. He's reading out the
- 30:56Speaker 1: eulogy for a man. That's a woman.
- 30:58Speaker 4: God, that's cold.
- 31:00Speaker 1: That's very very Patty takes over. She lived alone, she
- 31:03Speaker 1: died alone.
- 31:04Speaker 4: I'll keep this shot.
- 31:07Speaker 1: She lived alone, she died alone. She's a rong model
- 31:10Speaker 1: for Patty for summer and I. She's not rich. Everyone leaves,
- 31:14Speaker 1: but she was rich in spirit. I got my hat.
- 31:19Speaker 4: I always love a.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Get him.
- 31:24Speaker 4: I don't know how you describe that voice. It's a
- 31:26Speaker 4: cartoon character, isn't I want to say, like Diggity dog
- 31:28Speaker 4: or something, or dag would dog.
- 31:31Speaker 1: It was him. It's the same voice as that. I'm
- 31:34Speaker 1: an electric term, but Bart plays with the body. I
- 31:41Speaker 1: was like, oh, this is pretty creepy.
- 31:43Speaker 4: That is.
- 31:44Speaker 1: You know, I've never been to a funeral with an
- 31:45Speaker 1: open casket, have you?
- 31:47Speaker 4: Not to not to the funeral as such. But I
- 31:50Speaker 4: think I've talked about this on the show in the
- 31:51Speaker 4: past that I did see my nana, my mom's mother.
- 31:57Speaker 4: The story, Okay, they had they had the casket open
- 32:01Speaker 4: in a back room or in a room off the
- 32:05Speaker 4: church or off the where the ceremony was being held
- 32:07Speaker 4: where the funeral was being held, and you know, she
- 32:10Speaker 4: was there, and you know, she was made up, and
- 32:12Speaker 4: she looked very peaceful, and I mean I was like, oh, okay, well,
- 32:16Speaker 4: and I think I was probably in my early teens,
- 32:20Speaker 4: like okay, maybe not even a teenager, maybe like twelve
- 32:23Speaker 4: or something or even younger.
- 32:25Speaker 7: Uh.
- 32:25Speaker 4: And I wasn't like traumatized or anything. I was just like,
- 32:28Speaker 4: oh that's Nan, you know, sleep well, Nan. But yeah,
- 32:32Speaker 4: I mean, but I certainly did not reach out and
- 32:35Speaker 4: touch her, and i'd certainly not lift her arm up
- 32:37Speaker 4: and again, but what's wrong with you? You're a weird,
- 32:39Speaker 4: little weirdo.
- 32:40Speaker 1: It's because I drew a handlele blue and shit. I
- 32:42Speaker 1: was like, this is just creepy. That was, wasn't it.
- 32:45Speaker 1: And Homer's like, I don't belave the dad. They have
- 32:47Speaker 1: eerie powers.
- 32:49Speaker 4: That was a good reading.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Eerie power because he's not trying to be funny there,
- 32:54Speaker 1: he believes, He says, I thought this was keated. It
- 32:58Speaker 1: starts crying. It's just fair dumb it. Lisa wishes that
- 33:03Speaker 1: she made more of an effort. I'm spend some time
- 33:05Speaker 1: with Tom with her over the last couple of years,
- 33:07Speaker 1: and I was like, that always happens when someone passes
- 33:08Speaker 1: away and your family You're like, why did not go
- 33:10Speaker 1: and visit them more often? It always happens. And then,
- 33:14Speaker 1: but don't worry about it. She runs up Stead. Then
- 33:17Speaker 1: Hutts walks in as Tom to play the video.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Will now let's get down to business.
- 33:22Speaker 8: To my executor, Lionel Huts, I leave fifty thousand dollars.
- 33:28Speaker 7: Mister Hutts, you'd be surprised how often that works, you
- 33:32Speaker 7: really would.
- 33:33Speaker 3: To Marche, I leave my collection of potato chips that
- 33:36Speaker 3: resemble celebrities. They're all here, Ado von Bismarck, Maurice Chevalier,
- 33:41Speaker 3: right up to Jay Leno. These chips where my children
- 33:45Speaker 3: Marjorie takes special care of them.
- 33:51Speaker 4: Oh oh.
- 33:55Speaker 3: To my sister Jackie, I leave my pet iguana job job.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Why didn't you just leave me the bowel obstruction that
- 34:02Speaker 3: killed her. To my dear childless nieces Patty and Selma,
- 34:06Speaker 3: I leave my grandfather Clark, and these words, don't die
- 34:11Speaker 3: lonely like me, raise a family and do it now now, now, hey,
- 34:20Speaker 3: grandfather Clark, not bad.
- 34:23Speaker 1: I did not listen to the advice at all. But
- 34:24Speaker 1: it's obviously got sunk in with summer and they're driving home.
- 34:27Speaker 1: She's just contemplating, and she says to Patty, I want
- 34:30Speaker 1: a baby and make it rise to flee.
- 34:33Speaker 4: Great reaction shot from me, really.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Good, just to trying to slowly then really trying to
- 34:38Speaker 1: go fast. Someone's now at the Low Expectations dating service.
- 34:43Speaker 1: And just the great video from somewhere there. It's just amazing.
- 34:47Speaker 1: And that the tongue with a cigarette just.
- 34:49Speaker 4: Oh yeah, well, I think that's a bit of a
- 34:53Speaker 4: riff on Twin Peaks, because I don't know if you
- 34:58Speaker 4: remember this at all. Scene I watched it a long
- 35:01Speaker 4: time ago.
- 35:01Speaker 1: To him pizzas.
- 35:03Speaker 4: One bit that's stuck in them in the minds of
- 35:05Speaker 4: young men and possibly some ladies everywhere was the It
- 35:11Speaker 4: was Audrey Horn, played by sherylyn Fann. She's constantly coming
- 35:14Speaker 4: on to agent Dale Cooper, who, to his credit, it's like,
- 35:19Speaker 4: you're a bit young, although I think he might actually
- 35:22Speaker 4: get I don't know, maybe a bit later. It's a
- 35:27Speaker 4: weird show, but I think she might show it to him.
- 35:31Speaker 4: But she puts like a cherry stem in her mouth
- 35:35Speaker 4: and then pulls it out, and she's tired. She's tired
- 35:38Speaker 4: of knot in it with her tongue. It's like, oh my,
- 35:41Speaker 4: to quote mister Danna, oh my, so yeah, to do
- 35:48Speaker 4: it with a with a lit cigarette. But yeah, a
- 35:55Speaker 4: timely reference for the times.
- 35:57Speaker 1: That's great was the attie that Willy was wearing when
- 35:59Speaker 1: you watched the video.
- 36:00Speaker 4: Oh yeah, what do I do here? Just tell us
- 36:03Speaker 4: about yourself?
- 36:05Speaker 10: Well, I want to have a baby before it's too late.
- 36:09Speaker 10: You're looking at her free lunch boys, come and get it.
- 36:15Speaker 4: Back. To the lock with you.
- 36:18Speaker 1: She goes to the fortune tell her she's got this.
- 36:20Speaker 1: This stuff is gonna make a irresistible to mentor something.
- 36:23Speaker 1: What's in it? And it's just nothing's not going to work.
- 36:25Speaker 1: She realized she's taking the truth system.
- 36:28Speaker 4: Then she shouldn't say dull but you said, went yeah, yeah.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Then some afflirts with the bag boy. I'm sorry, not
- 36:34Speaker 1: that deep, customers, it's still palsy. Not shut up.
- 36:39Speaker 4: Go for it.
- 36:42Speaker 1: If you were a bag boy, what was it paper
- 36:45Speaker 1: or plastic?
- 36:46Speaker 4: You just say.
- 36:50Speaker 1: If I was a ba if, if you're a bag boy,
- 36:52Speaker 1: and you'll say seventeen, I will say eightem, so it's legal.
- 36:57Speaker 1: And thirty five forty year old woman comes on to you,
- 37:01Speaker 1: what does what does eighteen year old guy Davis do?
- 37:04Speaker 4: Accept the offer? Goes for it. I'd say nine cases.
- 37:09Speaker 4: I go for it.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Then Hans, moments taking his eye, tasts at the DMV
- 37:15Speaker 1: and she realizes that he's single, so she takes him
- 37:17Speaker 1: to dinner.
- 37:17Speaker 4: I just got here.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Poor moleman. He thinks he's in with the chance. I
- 37:21Speaker 1: guess he was until he tried to kiss her. But
- 37:23Speaker 1: because she had that.
- 37:23Speaker 4: Vision of them Moleman children.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, which was horrific, falling out the window and
- 37:28Speaker 1: stuff tries to kiss get out of my car.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Great visual, just the moleman lips coming for it, really good. Yeah.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Yeah, and just when they get the commercial once again
- 37:39Speaker 1: for Duff Gardens and we got the clean shaven tunes
- 37:42Speaker 1: of Hooray for everything.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Now.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I think that's based on like a real group. Yeah,
- 37:49Speaker 1: I'll tell you who they are on the wiki page.
- 37:50Speaker 4: That'd be fine. Yeah, and it's something.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Like up with People. I think that's exactly what it is. Yeah,
- 37:57Speaker 1: up with People? And yeah, the singing to take on
- 38:00Speaker 1: while Yeah.
- 38:01Speaker 4: The most vanilla version of Walk on the Wild sid
- 38:06Speaker 4: What isn't all the races go? Because in a very
- 38:11Speaker 4: non twenty first century lyric, Lou Reid had all the
- 38:14Speaker 4: colored girls go.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Do what a legend Lou read?
- 38:19Speaker 4: Oh gosh, apparently the wrong dude to be on the
- 38:21Speaker 4: wrong side.
- 38:22Speaker 1: I think he looks like the kind of guy that
- 38:24Speaker 1: would suck you up.
- 38:25Speaker 4: Oh, it just seemed like he was. He perpetually got
- 38:28Speaker 4: out on the wrong side of the bed. Yeah, cumpy,
- 38:30Speaker 4: didn't he? Yeah?
- 38:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's your favorite Velvet Underground song if you have one.
- 38:35Speaker 4: I'm kind of partial to Waiting for the Man. But
- 38:38Speaker 4: I also like Venus in First very but Venus in
- 38:40Speaker 4: First just sounds corrupt. Yeah, like you walk into a
- 38:44Speaker 4: party in Venus and Firs plans like I'm either getting
- 38:46Speaker 4: late or getting killed.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I've always just loved how peaceful Pale Blue Eyes is.
- 38:52Speaker 4: It's really nice. And IM do a terrific cover of
- 38:54Speaker 4: it as well.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Really, okay, I have to check that out. You heard
- 38:57Speaker 1: the song After Hours as well?
- 38:59Speaker 4: No, I'm not sure.
- 39:00Speaker 1: It's just if you close the door the night good,
- 39:03Speaker 1: last forever. Have you heard that song? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 39:06Speaker 1: and it go it's like two minutes because the Chili
- 39:09Speaker 1: Peppers did a cover of it. It's really good. Yeah,
- 39:11Speaker 1: that's one of my favorites as well After Hours. But anyway,
- 39:13Speaker 1: enough about Velvet Underground.
- 39:15Speaker 4: He totally about what's a great line about the band
- 39:19Speaker 4: about I think it's about about Velvet Underground. It's like
- 39:23Speaker 4: only like six people went to the concert, but they
- 39:25Speaker 4: all started bands.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Whenever you say who you inspired by, they always make
- 39:29Speaker 1: the list, don't they.
- 39:30Speaker 4: Yeah. I love that idea of like, yeah, only only
- 39:34Speaker 4: ten people showed it to a concert, but they went
- 39:36Speaker 4: on to start Pixies.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Navana, but yes, hooray for everything. You're on the commercial Homoso.
- 39:44Speaker 1: They can go this weekend and summer returns. After returns early,
- 39:48Speaker 1: she was so depressed she had a jarve expired Olive's,
- 39:50Speaker 1: and Lisa suggests artificial insemination could be pretty desperate to
- 39:54Speaker 1: make it with a rob but March whispers, yeah, I
- 39:56Speaker 1: knew that. She goes to the sperm Bacon. There's just
- 40:02Speaker 1: baby Barney's everywhere, which is pretty traumatizing. I feel like
- 40:04Speaker 1: this gag here this appeared in its like a season
- 40:07Speaker 1: fifteen episode. People will be like, oh, that's so stupid,
- 40:09Speaker 1: but because of season four, we just accept it. Babies
- 40:12Speaker 1: that look like Barney, but they read the one hundred
- 40:15Speaker 1: and one frozen pops. Oh, one of the sweathgs.
- 40:18Speaker 4: It's not our shack.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I love Black and Make Conor one of my favorite
- 40:22Speaker 1: sitcoms ever. I wonder which one was. I want to
- 40:25Speaker 1: say it was because it's Barberino. Yeah, who was the
- 40:30Speaker 1: the one with the afro?
- 40:32Speaker 4: Yeah? One. Have we talked about the fact that Gabe
- 40:35Speaker 4: Kaplan like made a ship ton of money, is like
- 40:37Speaker 4: a pro poker player.
- 40:39Speaker 1: We may have I feel like that rings a bell,
- 40:41Speaker 1: but yeah, that's awesome. It was Epstein. That's right, that
- 40:45Speaker 1: was Epstein. Yeah, because then you had who was who
- 40:47Speaker 1: was the other dude? It's boom boom Freddie boom boom
- 40:50Speaker 1: Washington watched Washington. Yeah, yeah, what a show. I just
- 40:56Speaker 1: love the dad jokes. At the start of the episodes,
- 40:58Speaker 1: we just tells his wife a really bad dad joke.
- 41:00Speaker 1: It's great.
- 41:01Speaker 4: Anyway, my figured on YouTube and watch a little cotton tonight.
- 41:04Speaker 4: I'm in a comfort TV kind of mood.
- 41:06Speaker 1: So as soon as he heard it's not in seventy
- 41:11Speaker 1: five and I'm happy again.
- 41:14Speaker 4: Beckon the womb, Yeah.
- 41:17Speaker 1: So it's not horses shape and she's had bad experiences
- 41:20Speaker 1: ordering catalogs. It felt like a very family guy. Gag,
- 41:22Speaker 1: don't you reckon? Even family. I hadn't existed yet, but
- 41:24Speaker 1: remember the time this happened. And then it's a flashback
- 41:27Speaker 1: to the cardboard cut out. Then someone shed she won't
- 41:29Speaker 1: change her mind, she wants a baby. She got a
- 41:31Speaker 1: lot of love to give, which I thought was a
- 41:33Speaker 1: really not really funny but also very sad line. I've
- 41:35Speaker 1: got a lot of love to give, but no one
- 41:37Speaker 1: wants it. And I thought that's really really sad for
- 41:39Speaker 1: the character.
- 41:40Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I mean there's lines that are really resonant
- 41:43Speaker 4: in this ection. I mean you said before they will
- 41:46Speaker 4: reading about you know, don't die lonely like me. It's
- 41:48Speaker 4: like you think about that. I mean, that's one of
- 41:50Speaker 4: the worst fates you could wish upon someone, that they
- 41:53Speaker 4: die lonely.
- 41:55Speaker 1: With nobody in their life. Yeah, it doesn't have to be,
- 41:57Speaker 1: doesn't it be a child or a loved one, just
- 41:58Speaker 1: there's just no one in this world that cares about them.
- 42:01Speaker 1: That would be to be the worst.
- 42:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm a kind of fatalistic and that, Like, you know,
- 42:04Speaker 4: you come in alone, you die alone. But unless you're
- 42:07Speaker 4: in a unless you're in a terrible car wreck or something.
- 42:10Speaker 4: But sorry, that's morbid. But there's a difference between dying
- 42:14Speaker 4: alone and dying lonely. Yes, yes, and that whole bit
- 42:18Speaker 4: about it. Yeah, look, got got a lot of love
- 42:20Speaker 4: to give.
- 42:21Speaker 9: I mean, that would be It's one of the most
- 42:24Speaker 9: sad things I think in the world if you've not
- 42:27Speaker 9: having a vessel, as I said before, for the love
- 42:31Speaker 9: and affection and anything you want to give.
- 42:33Speaker 1: It's one of the things I fear with Elliot when
- 42:35Speaker 1: he goes to school is that he doesn't make friends.
- 42:37Speaker 1: I feel like he will be he's just one of
- 42:38Speaker 1: those socialized kids. But I just I just fear that
- 42:42Speaker 1: he gets bullied or he doesn't have any friends. I
- 42:44Speaker 1: would hate my children to ever feel like they've got
- 42:47Speaker 1: no friends. I feel like like being lonely, because feeling
- 42:50Speaker 1: lonely is on the worst feelings ever.
- 42:52Speaker 4: It sucks. It's terrible, terrible, terrible. Having said that, I
- 42:55Speaker 4: know that you're a good dad. You'll probably be like
- 42:58Speaker 4: inspiring young Elliott to make friends. Not just yeah, don't
- 43:02Speaker 4: let the friends come to him, go out and make them.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Oh she's got now a sperm and a cup, great love.
- 43:10Speaker 1: The kids try waking up Homer. Oh, great, dad's dad.
- 43:14Speaker 1: He's unwell from eating the sandwich the ten foot HOGI
- 43:17Speaker 1: from the company Picnic. Two more feeds and I can
- 43:20Speaker 1: fit it in the fridge.
- 43:23Speaker 4: That bit I can handle. Once it's behind the radio haator,
- 43:26Speaker 4: It's like, no, this is.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Just it's horrific. It's so gross. Yeah, I love to
- 43:32Speaker 1: be a lower with the sandwich. Please. He's determined, but
- 43:35Speaker 1: he just can't even stand up. His lips are turning blue,
- 43:38Speaker 1: and we get the doff guns passes out in the
- 43:41Speaker 1: car and someone now agrees to take them. It won't
- 43:44Speaker 1: be any fun without your dad.
- 43:45Speaker 4: But I like that.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Selma is keen. She's ready to go to go to
- 43:49Speaker 1: tough guns. I'll go Satan himself. That's the spirit. See tonight,
- 43:52Speaker 1: let's go kids, like she's ready to go. Then, Homer,
- 43:55Speaker 1: this is all your fault. How can I steam mad
- 43:58Speaker 1: at you? We then see them arriving at Duff Gardens.
- 44:04Speaker 1: But the best thing about when you're on your way
- 44:06Speaker 1: to somewhere like a theme park, is seeing it in
- 44:07Speaker 1: the distance. You're there, it is, there's the rollercoaster, like
- 44:11Speaker 1: it's so close now.
- 44:12Speaker 4: But at the same time you're like, oh my god,
- 44:14Speaker 4: we're kind of far away, but I can see it
- 44:16Speaker 4: from here. It's so big.
- 44:18Speaker 1: It's huge. Yeah, the laborers twenty twenty laborers died plenty
- 44:22Speaker 1: while where that came from. And then we see the
- 44:25Speaker 1: seven Duffs. How great is Surly? Just young at the kid?
- 44:29Speaker 1: They shut up?
- 44:29Speaker 4: Shut up? Great voice on Surly is it Hank?
- 44:33Speaker 1: Let's find out, sir. I'm trying to imagine the voice
- 44:36Speaker 1: Curly that sounds like a hank. Yeah Surly voice by
- 44:42Speaker 1: Dan Caslinada. Okay, there you go. I thought that would
- 44:45Speaker 1: have been a hank. There you go.
- 44:46Speaker 4: Now. One of my trivia questions that I didn't end
- 44:48Speaker 4: up asking you was everyone knows Surly and loves Surly?
- 44:53Speaker 4: Can you name the three other.
- 44:57Speaker 1: There's seven duffs all up?
- 44:58Speaker 4: But we only get three names. I think in this
- 45:01Speaker 4: one three other names quick.
- 45:05Speaker 1: I just know the names, don't know which one get
- 45:07Speaker 1: ready in this episode? I know there's queasies one is
- 45:11Speaker 1: that right?
- 45:11Speaker 4: Queezy?
- 45:13Speaker 1: Uh Tipsy? Is he one? Queazy Tipsy? Are they in
- 45:20Speaker 1: this episode?
- 45:21Speaker 4: Yeah? Well they only they get name checked. There's three
- 45:23Speaker 4: that get name checked other than Surly.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Remorsefuls one yep, and that's it and that's it, okay.
- 45:28Speaker 1: I also get there's very all Dizzy, Dizzy Sleezy. Is
- 45:35Speaker 1: that all of them? There's one more?
- 45:37Speaker 4: Oh?
- 45:37Speaker 1: And it's not a z one. Now I should know
- 45:39Speaker 1: this because this is usually a trivia Edgy Edgy is
- 45:42Speaker 1: Edgy one you would know having funny. Let's let's the
- 45:46Speaker 1: seven duffs. I've got Surly's page up seven das kind.
- 45:49Speaker 4: Of page to himself.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Tipsy Queazy, Surly Sleezy? Did I say Edgy? That said
- 45:55Speaker 1: ed You didn't know Edgy dizzy and remorseal, hey, I've
- 45:57Speaker 1: got them awesome.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Extra train.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I can sign off now we're all finished. But anyway,
- 46:03Speaker 1: so they arrive at the at the Duft Gardens, they
- 46:06Speaker 1: go to see the President, the wrapping President robots. It
- 46:09Speaker 1: was just horrific, and but then Dax Washington and the
- 46:12Speaker 1: eyes go red, which pays off. Later, Homer is still
- 46:15Speaker 1: very sick in bed. I loved this little touch for Marge.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I hired some videos to make you feel better. So
- 46:22Speaker 1: actually it's later when she goes I actually hired something
- 46:25Speaker 1: extra just in case you felt better. But we'll get
- 46:28Speaker 1: to that in the moment. But she she brings up
- 46:30Speaker 1: what is it like boxing? His greatest way in and
- 46:33Speaker 1: yental She reads it out, Oh let's watch it. Oh
- 46:36Speaker 1: my god, you're delivious, but then looks through the beer goggles.
- 46:40Speaker 1: I thought you'd appreciate this line. You're chumming the pants?
- 46:45Speaker 1: What'd you say? It's that one? Take out those damn glasses.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Then the kids she tries to there's a bench and
- 46:51Speaker 1: she sits down with the kids drag her away, and
- 46:52Speaker 1: I was like, man, I feel your pain like every Saturday.
- 46:55Speaker 1: And I'm like, hey, it's the couch. Let's watch TV now, Daddy,
- 46:58Speaker 1: race me down the hallway, Daddy, let's go right out
- 47:01Speaker 1: by daddy.
- 47:02Speaker 4: Daddy adorable. You'll cherish these memories. But yes, but these
- 47:07Speaker 4: are for the future to These are for future Dando
- 47:09Speaker 4: to enjoy and appreciate.
- 47:11Speaker 1: President Dando's like, fah, so they joined a line here
- 47:16Speaker 1: AND's like, oh fuck, this is long. Hey, it's lines
- 47:18Speaker 1: as long as gotta be good as the complaint line.
- 47:20Speaker 4: Get band. I love get bent.
- 47:22Speaker 1: It's a great way of saying funk off.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Isn't it really good?
- 47:26Speaker 1: Homer is now good, his energy back, and Marge pulls
- 47:28Speaker 1: out the erotic Adventures of Hercules. I love Marge's Dirty Siders,
- 47:34Speaker 1: Starry Norman Fowlers, sorry.
- 47:36Speaker 4: Norman Fellas. Norman Fella is not exactly a household name,
- 47:42Speaker 4: by the way, but he's like one of those guys
- 47:44Speaker 4: who he seemed like custom built in a lab to
- 47:47Speaker 4: play uh sleazy, low rent private detectives or sort of
- 47:53Speaker 4: unhappy landlords.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, just walking around in his robe collecting rent.
- 47:59Speaker 4: Yeahkind of looks like life's just fucking me over. So
- 48:04Speaker 4: a great choice for Zeus. Yeah, better than Russell, No,
- 48:08Speaker 4: not better than Russell. Russell Crowe's playing Zeus in the
- 48:10Speaker 4: New Thorn movie.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I saw that. Yeah, but he's played I
- 48:14Speaker 1: know he played. Did he play Superman's dad?
- 48:16Speaker 4: He did play Superman's dad.
- 48:17Speaker 1: He plays of course, yep. So then we get the
- 48:21Speaker 1: kids and some on the Duff Beer right, which is
- 48:24Speaker 1: a take off of It's a Small World World, which
- 48:26Speaker 1: is a really annoying one ride.
- 48:30Speaker 4: I've been Yeah, I've been on it.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I was like, oh, yeah, this is fucking not good.
- 48:35Speaker 1: It's one of those things. I think it's the nostalgia
- 48:37Speaker 1: for people who grew up with Disneyland. It's like it's
- 48:39Speaker 1: never changed.
- 48:40Speaker 4: Yeah, and particularly if you've you know, if you've come
- 48:42Speaker 4: a long way, if you've come from overseas and you've
- 48:44Speaker 4: gone to Disneyland or disney World or whatever. It's like,
- 48:48Speaker 4: I suppose we should do this.
- 48:49Speaker 1: That's one of those rides that everyone knows about.
- 48:51Speaker 4: Yeah, cross it off the list.
- 48:57Speaker 6: I want to get off.
- 48:59Speaker 4: You can't get on.
- 49:00Speaker 3: We have five more continents to visit.
- 49:02Speaker 5: Hey, Lisa, daring to drink the water.
- 49:05Speaker 3: I'm not sure that is water. Chit again, but Barty quiet,
- 49:15Speaker 3: at least I drink the water here they're all around
- 49:30Speaker 3: me now I heead.
- 49:35Speaker 5: No, what's long?
- 49:39Speaker 1: You just put your head right, great animation, the shoulder
- 49:50Speaker 1: coming to life and trying to aid her and stuff,
- 49:52Speaker 1: and it's really good. They we get the running adventions
- 49:55Speaker 1: of Hercules.
- 49:56Speaker 3: Hercules, the cyclops tore off my clothes.
- 50:02Speaker 1: And Lisa leaves the ride and button someone go looking
- 50:05Speaker 1: for her and she loses both the kids. Lisa then
- 50:08Speaker 1: starts walking through the parade and she can she can
- 50:10Speaker 1: see is that she can see the music?
- 50:12Speaker 4: See through time? Oh, she can see? Yeah, the music.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Yeah, basically she's just she's chipping out big time. But
- 50:17Speaker 1: then tricks Mitch to get onto the barrow roll think
- 50:21Speaker 1: goes down. Whoa that ain't good? Gets stuck upside down,
- 50:26Speaker 1: and then some are surly for help. Surly looks out
- 50:28Speaker 1: for one game, shut up. We're then in the security office.
- 50:33Speaker 4: By the way, Yeah, while we're in the security office more.
- 50:36Speaker 4: While we're on the surly tip, there's a poster on
- 50:40Speaker 4: the side that certainly says don't get caught or else
- 50:45Speaker 4: or else, none of which sort of makes sense, not.
- 50:50Speaker 1: Really, but like or else is such a great threat,
- 50:53Speaker 1: but not do it or else? What I have to
- 50:55Speaker 1: explain to you just fucking or else else or else
- 50:59Speaker 1: is great, Miss Booby.
- 51:01Speaker 2: A while we were rescuing this boy Hoodlum's made off
- 51:04Speaker 2: with three bumper cars, and I don't think George Washington
- 51:15Speaker 2: will ever be the same.
- 51:19Speaker 4: We found this one swimming naked in the fermentarium.
- 51:23Speaker 3: Aged Queen.
- 51:26Speaker 1: One of I reckon. Probably I'd say probably at least
- 51:29Speaker 1: top twenty iconic moments in the Simpsons. Everyone knows this.
- 51:32Speaker 4: Moment they do. I'm not mad on it.
- 51:34Speaker 1: No, it's not overly funny. I find the doctor line
- 51:37Speaker 1: after it funnier, but it's just so memorable.
- 51:41Speaker 4: It is. Yeah, give her this and this and then these,
- 51:48Speaker 4: thank you doctor. No, I'm not a doctor.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Homer has now gone full blown his cause plays homercles,
- 51:53Speaker 1: He's in his character. It's to mccles cares, not for beans.
- 51:57Speaker 4: I love that he's Yeah, he's definitely got his mojo.
- 52:00Speaker 4: Bad come to home aglees.
- 52:03Speaker 1: It's really good.
- 52:04Speaker 4: I love it.
- 52:04Speaker 1: I love seeing them having fun together. Yeah, the kids
- 52:07Speaker 1: that arrive what happened can't coming down. Munch goes to
- 52:11Speaker 1: see Lisa, and this is where we get the moment
- 52:13Speaker 1: we discussed earlier where someone comes not going to clean it.
- 52:15Speaker 4: She just opens up to Homer and saying, but before
- 52:17Speaker 4: that is just a great line. I was like, how
- 52:20Speaker 4: do you do it? You taking and you're folded in.
- 52:28Speaker 4: He seemed to really stoked to give advice on how
- 52:32Speaker 4: to grant it.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Now she's talking about raising kids and she's just sad
- 52:38Speaker 1: she couldn't cut it today and homs like, I don't
- 52:40Speaker 1: like you didn't say anything, but just by grabbing her
- 52:42Speaker 1: hands as if to say, don't worry, I've got you,
- 52:44Speaker 1: and she's want a little version of her to hold
- 52:46Speaker 1: in her arms. Cute Jubjub the ugly lizard. What I
- 52:49Speaker 1: also loved about this moment where she was able to
- 52:51Speaker 1: find something that isn't actually beautiful in jub Jubb an
- 52:54Speaker 1: ugly lizard, but she but she sees him as beautiful
- 52:58Speaker 1: because he's filling that hole in her heart.
- 53:00Speaker 4: Lute. Yeah, very good way of putting it.
- 53:02Speaker 1: And I think it was just the perfect song to
- 53:04Speaker 1: end on.
- 53:05Speaker 4: It really was. And yeah, just uh, as I said before,
- 53:09Speaker 4: really nice voice work from Julie in just the very
- 53:13Speaker 4: plain but heartfelt way that it sung.
- 53:15Speaker 1: There's also a nice touch here, so Patty says, when
- 53:18Speaker 1: I want to pick him up. Mama's trying to stab
- 53:20Speaker 1: him with the with the hat pin or whatever, and
- 53:22Speaker 1: then someone just says, because she's just admiring him, she's
- 53:24Speaker 1: just in love with this little lizard. I thought, yeah,
- 53:26Speaker 1: it just beautiful, beautiful ending to this episode jog Job.
- 53:35Speaker 10: When I went to pick him up, Mom was trying
- 53:37Speaker 10: to stab him with a hat pin.
- 53:39Speaker 5: Sh you make me feel you make me feel like
- 53:49Speaker 5: a natural Wma.
- 53:57Speaker 1: This is, you'd say, the Simpsons at their best, when
- 53:59Speaker 1: they've got a great story with heart and plenty of
- 54:02Speaker 1: human and memorable moments that just stay with you forever.
- 54:05Speaker 1: This is so much better of an episode than when
- 54:08Speaker 1: people your patrons selected Salma's Choice. I was like, really
- 54:10Speaker 1: that one one, and I went back and watching it.
- 54:12Speaker 1: I was like, of course this one wins. This one's great.
- 54:14Speaker 4: It's a textbook episode. Yeah, this is like it's firing
- 54:17Speaker 4: on all cylinders.
- 54:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just it is the Simpsons at their finest.
- 54:20Speaker 1: By the way, another fun fat Jubjub was a name
- 54:23Speaker 1: thought of by Conan O'Brien.
- 54:24Speaker 4: Ah nice word, Conan.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Yes, but this has been our review of Sealma's Choice.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Have ready visited Classic Thank you guys, Thank you patrons
- 54:32Speaker 1: for selecting this episode for the month of June. I
- 54:34Speaker 1: had a great time going back and revisiting. I always

- 54:39Speaker 1: and happy and just yeah, ready to go, ready to review,
- 54:42Speaker 1: just like I want to review this now because I
- 54:44Speaker 1: love this episode.
- 54:45Speaker 4: So yeah. Look, I saw him a message from one
- 54:49Speaker 4: of the patrons today talking about recent episodes of like
- 54:54Speaker 4: season fifteen that we've talked about, and I think they
- 54:56Speaker 4: were in sweating like you can hear the guys getting
- 54:59Speaker 4: a bit tired of the And I apologize to the
- 55:04Speaker 4: to the listeners and the patents out there if I
- 55:06Speaker 4: I as surely I'm giving one hundred percent and look,
- 55:12Speaker 4: thinking about and analyzing and giving each episode as much
- 55:16Speaker 4: love as I possibly can. But I think it can
- 55:19Speaker 4: see the difference between an episode and Seas fifteen and
- 55:22Speaker 4: an episode like Soe Mu's choice, And hopefully you'll appreciate
- 55:26Speaker 4: the difference in my output this time around.
- 55:30Speaker 1: We take the advice of the other dating service, low expectations.
- 55:35Speaker 4: Keep me in check. But Dan, of course, you know,
- 55:39Speaker 4: is always giving one hundred and and yes, I will
- 55:43Speaker 4: endeavor to continue to match his high standards.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Yes, this has been some mu's choice. Another fantastic episode.
- 55:49Speaker 1: Next month, what are they going to choose? There's only
- 55:52Speaker 1: episode of particularly that you would like to review that
- 55:54Speaker 1: I can whack into the into the poll.
- 55:56Speaker 4: Let me think about that, because I want.
- 55:58Speaker 1: You to choose too this month, and I'll choose to
- 56:00Speaker 1: but we're not going to choose. I'm going to leave
- 56:02Speaker 1: marg versus the monorail Out and Cape Fear and you
- 56:05Speaker 1: only move twice. I want to leave those three classics
- 56:07Speaker 1: for later. So so you pick two and I'll pick two.
- 56:10Speaker 1: I'll let me know and we'll make the problem. We'll
- 56:12Speaker 1: see what the patrons choose for the month of July.
