- 0:00Speaker 1: I want to say this just so people, to give
- 0:02Speaker 1: a little bit more context to pornography overall. Pornhub was
- 0:06Speaker 1: the fifth most visited website in the world by December 2020.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Just so people don't think that we are at war, right?
- 0:11Speaker 1: Some people think like, oh, America, we're safe. We're not,
- 0:15Speaker 1: we're at war. Pornhub had about 170 million visits per
- 0:21Speaker 1: day and 62 billion visits per year. And that was 2020. 2020. Um,
- 0:27Speaker 1: the amount of content uploaded to Pornhub in a single
- 0:29Speaker 1: year would take about 169 years to watch if you
- 0:32Speaker 1: played the videos back to back. Um, and, and this was,
- 0:37Speaker 1: this was some information because there's sometimes you're watching stuff
- 0:40Speaker 1: on there where the people in it have not consented
- 0:43Speaker 1: to it being put online. Uh, some are, or that
- 0:46Speaker 1: it was even recorded and sometimes that it's not, um,
- 0:50Speaker 1: that they haven't consented even to the sex in the video, right?
- 0:55Speaker 1: The Broward County, Florida case, this was a case, a
- 0:58Speaker 1: 15-year-old girl missing for a year was found only after
- 1:01Speaker 1: a Pornhub user recognized her and tipped off her mother.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Police eventually found her in 58 monetized videos on the site.
- 1:11Speaker 1: So just to know how Pornhub is okay with operating.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Lila Micklewaite, who came on here, and she has done
- 1:18Speaker 1: a great job with exposing the porn industry, for the
- 1:21Speaker 1: negative aspects of it. The London Sunday Times investigation, reporters
- 1:26Speaker 1: were able to find dozens of illegal videos on the
- 1:28Speaker 1: site within minutes, including videos of children as young as
- 1:30Speaker 1: three that were on Pornhub. So just to let you know,
- 1:38Speaker 1: like the kind of stuff that can be happening on there. Oh, nice.
- 1:42Speaker 1: So Lila tested that. Oh, at the time, Lila tested
- 1:46Speaker 1: the upload flow to just see how easy it was
- 1:49Speaker 1: to just put something up. All it took to upload
- 1:51Speaker 1: a video was an email address. There was no ID
- 1:53Speaker 1: or age verification, no consent verification required for people in
- 1:57Speaker 1: the videos.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Huh?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Anyone with a smartphone could upload a video in under
- 2:02Speaker 1: 10 minutes from anywhere in the world. So anyway, it
- 2:07Speaker 1: just gives a little more context to what we're even watching.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Cause sometimes you're looking at something and you don't even
- 2:11Speaker 1: really know what it is or where it came from
- 2:14Speaker 1: or where it came from.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Right.
- 2:16Speaker 1: And if you can add some context to it, it
- 2:17Speaker 1: makes it a little bit different.
- 2:19Speaker 2: So many of those people have been either physically or
- 2:22Speaker 2: sexually abused in their childhood, have been trafficked. Sometimes this
- 2:28Speaker 2: is non-consent. And there's just a gross element to a
- 2:32Speaker 2: lot of it.
- 2:33Speaker 1: There is. And you kind of get tricked in a little,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I think, in a way. You don't maybe realize it.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I don't know, especially if you're kind of susceptible. Yeah.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, this right here. I remember this. Visa and
- 2:43Speaker 1: MasterCard suspend payments for ad purchases on Pornhub and MindGeek
- 2:47Speaker 1: amid controversy. Visa and MasterCard said Thursday card payments for
- 2:53Speaker 1: advertising on Pornhub and its parent company MindGeek would be
- 2:55Speaker 1: suspended after a lawsuit stoked controversy over whether the payment
- 2:58Speaker 1: giants could be facilitating child pornography. Visa condemns sex trafficking,
- 3:07Speaker 1: sexual exploitation, and child sexual abuse. It is illegal, and
- 3:12Speaker 1: Visa does not permit the use of our network for
- 3:14Speaker 1: illegal activity because Visa was being accepted on these websites.
- 3:19Speaker 1: So it's kind of crazy. It's like, okay, so you're
- 3:21Speaker 1: saying that if this is happening on these websites, then
- 3:24Speaker 1: you're okay with your ….
- 3:27Speaker 2: Kind of complicit.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Right. You're kind of complicit. Give me an update on
- 3:30Speaker 1: that if you can. And who owns MindGeek Changed to AYLO?
- 3:33Speaker 1: I remember it. That A-Y-L-O. Who owns that company? Ethical
- 3:39Speaker 1: Capital Partners.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Ha, ha, ha. Of course they do. Of course they do.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Unbelievable. Parent organization is Ethical Capital Partners. Key ECP leadership
- 3:49Speaker 1: is Fadi Mansour, a managing partner, Rocco Miliambro, and Solomon Friedman.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Through its parent company, ECP owns some of those highly
- 4:01Speaker 1: trafficked digital networks in the adult entertainment industry, including Pornhub, RedTube, YouPorn, Brazzers,
- 4:06Speaker 1: and Men.com. Find photos of those guys if you can,
- 4:09Speaker 1: just so we can put the faces with just who
- 4:11Speaker 1: they are. And that's all according to what site? Wikipedia. Okay,
- 4:16Speaker 1: that's all Google and Wikipedia. So yeah, give me pictures
- 4:21Speaker 1: of those three guys. Let's put them up just so
- 4:22Speaker 1: people know who feels like it's okay. And I do
- 4:28Speaker 1: want to say, most recently I saw there was a
- 4:30Speaker 1: story I saw where one of the financial companies failed
- 4:36Speaker 1: to stop a payment for Was it only fans? It
- 4:39Speaker 1: was something that was MasterCard Visa failed to stop payments
- 4:43Speaker 1: on only fans for child sex abuse content says a whistleblower.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Let me see. MasterCard and Visa failed to stop their
- 4:50Speaker 1: payment networks from laundering proceeds from child sex abuse material
- 4:53Speaker 1: and sex trafficking on the popular website. Only fans according
- 4:56Speaker 1: to allegations in a previously undisclosed whistleblower complaint filled with
- 5:02Speaker 1: the U.S. Treasury's financial crimes unit. Um, The complaint was
- 5:05Speaker 1: filed in January 2023. The complaint said the whistleblower and
- 5:08Speaker 1: other anti-trafficking experts, including U.S. federal agents, alerted Visa and
- 5:12Speaker 1: MasterCard to unlawful content on OnlyFans in a series of
- 5:16Speaker 1: calls in 2021 and 2022. The federal agents corroborated the
- 5:20Speaker 1: presence of child sexual abuse material on OnlyFans. The complaint
- 5:24Speaker 1: said it also drew heavily on a 2022 study by
- 5:27Speaker 1: an anti-trafficking group that said it had found a high
- 5:30Speaker 1: volume of OnlyFans accounts with common indicators of child sexual
- 5:34Speaker 1: abuse material. or sex trafficking. The whistleblower said he helped
- 5:38Speaker 1: with the study, which was shared with the card companies.
- 5:42Speaker 1: In the interview, the whistleblower said the agencies never contacted
- 5:45Speaker 1: him to discuss his complaint. The card companies had the
- 5:47Speaker 1: power to turn off the switch to stop illicit material
- 5:50Speaker 1: from being monetized. So there's just, you know, it goes
- 5:54Speaker 1: to that place, I guess there's like a, there's a
- 5:56Speaker 1: business element to it. A Visa spokesperson said financial institutions
- 6:01Speaker 1: and merchants that don't comply with Visa's robust compliance requirements
- 6:05Speaker 1: will be terminated from its network. The company uses best-in-class
- 6:08Speaker 1: controls to deter, detect, and remediate illegal activity. If there's
- 6:13Speaker 1: anything else I should in there, let me know. Since
- 6:17Speaker 1: the whistleblower complaint was filed, Reuters uncovered more allegations of
- 6:20Speaker 1: child sexual abuse and sex trafficking on OnlyFans, a porn-driven
- 6:23Speaker 1: site that generates money through subscriptions and pay-per-view content. I mean,
- 6:30Speaker 1: those companies are also so big, I bet it's so
- 6:31Speaker 1: hard to police everything. Sure. And that was just a complaint, Trevin?
- 6:37Speaker 1: That's right.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Not a ruling.
- 6:39Speaker 1: But it was officially filed. It's on the record. Okay,
- 6:42Speaker 1: got it. Okay, thank you so much. Here we go
- 6:44Speaker 1: right here. These are the ethical capital partners. This couple
- 6:49Speaker 1: of guys right here. There's the managing partner, Fadi Mansour.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Rocco Meliambro. And he's definitely been goonin'. And Solomon Friedman
- 7:02Speaker 1: had a feeling he was involved. There he is right there.
- 7:05Speaker 1: He's the partner VP compliance. I love how compliance is
- 7:09Speaker 1: part of it.
- 7:11Speaker 2: What do you do working at a porn company for compliance?
- 7:15Speaker 1: I'm curious. I don't know, dude. I do not know.
- 7:19Speaker 1: So that's them right there, ethical capital partners. So we
- 7:26Speaker 1: want to thank those guys for– being basically they are,
- 7:32Speaker 1: those are your porn sackler family right there. That's what
- 7:37Speaker 1: I call them. That's just my thoughts. Those are the
- 7:39Speaker 1: sacklers of pornography right there. Those are good people. Fadi Mansour,
- 7:43Speaker 1: Rocco Meliambro, and Solomon Friedman. Thank you guys for your service.
