- 0:00Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
- 0:03Speaker 1: go to God in prayer, and as always I ask
- 0:08Speaker 1: that you joined along with me in prayer. You know,
- 0:10Speaker 1: I think about how the enemy doesn't have any new tricks.
- 0:14Speaker 1: He uses the same old thing to try to keep
- 0:17Speaker 1: us bound and to keep us from living out our
- 0:20Speaker 1: full potential in Christ. And I hate seeing where any
- 0:26Speaker 1: person deals with low self esteem, where they don't realize
- 0:31Speaker 1: their worth or their value in Christ because life has
- 0:34Speaker 1: beat them down so bad, or people have spoken so
- 0:37Speaker 1: many negative things over their life, or they've experienced so
- 0:41Speaker 1: much rejection that they don't realize that they are loved
- 0:44Speaker 1: by God. They don't realize that they are fearfully and
- 0:47Speaker 1: wonderfully made in His likeness and His image. Today, as
- 0:52Speaker 1: we pray, I want to remind you of who you
- 0:55Speaker 1: are in who's you are, Father God, in the name
- 0:58Speaker 1: of Jesus. You are the one who created us. When
- 1:02Speaker 1: you formed us, it was with great intention. You love us,
- 1:07Speaker 1: and you called us by name. But sometimes Lord, if
- 1:10Speaker 1: we can be honest, we forget. We forget who we
- 1:14Speaker 1: are because we've been told we're not enough. We measured
- 1:18Speaker 1: ourselves by the world's standards, and then we come up short.
- 1:22Speaker 1: The voices of insecurity echo louder than the truth of
- 1:27Speaker 1: your work. But today God, we come to you, tired
- 1:31Speaker 1: of questioning our work, tired of feeling unseen, and tired
- 1:34Speaker 1: of believing lies. Remind us God, who we are in you.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Remind us God that we are fearfully and wonderfully made
- 1:43Speaker 1: in Your likeness and image. Remind us God, according to
- 1:46Speaker 1: Colossians three and twelve, that we are chosen, that we
- 1:50Speaker 1: are holy, that we are dearly loved. Remind us God,
- 1:54Speaker 1: like in Ephesians two and ten, that we are your workmanship,
- 1:57Speaker 1: created for good works. Remind us God of Second Corinthians
- 2:01Speaker 1: five seventeen, that we are forgiven, that we are redeemed,
- 2:05Speaker 1: that we are made new. Silence the voices that say
- 2:09Speaker 1: that we're too broken, that we're too much, or that
- 2:12Speaker 1: we're not enough. Replace them with your truth. That we
- 2:15Speaker 1: are cherished, that we are cold, and we're crowned with
- 2:19Speaker 1: glory and honor. God, heal the wounded places in our hearts,
- 2:23Speaker 1: the places where rejection left guards, the moments where shame
- 2:27Speaker 1: took rude. Come. God speak, Life, speak, purpose, speak, identity
- 2:31Speaker 1: over us. Jesus help us to walk in the confidence
- 2:35Speaker 1: of who you say we are. Not with arrogance, God, No,
- 2:39Speaker 1: not with arrogance and pride, but with holy assurance. Let
- 2:43Speaker 1: our eyes be fixed not on our flaus but on
- 2:46Speaker 1: the cross, Not on our failures, but on your faithfulness. God.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Let us begin to see ourselves the way that you
- 2:54Speaker 1: see us. You see us as loved, as value, as
- 2:58Speaker 1: chosen and else. Oh, thank you Jesus, thank you for
- 3:03Speaker 1: making all things new. And Jesus me amen.
