- 0:20OK, so Cyber Monday is coming up and people are going to be crazy
- 0:22dropping prices. Buckle up.

- 0:41down below this video and following all social media I
- 0:44have looked daily videos. Super dope.
- 0:46Guys, what is going on? I am so pumped because I've
- 0:48never done a video like this before but I use tech daily like
- 0:52I use tech all the time. So I'm going to go down now and
- 0:54breakdown some of the the tech that I think that you should
- 0:57definitely look out for a Cyber Monday because look this
- 1:00climate, this economic climate, we're all looking to grab a
- 1:02bargain, right? And there's no greater time to
- 1:04get a good bargain than when Cyber Monday is happening,
- 1:07especially for people on the spectrum will need assistive
- 1:10technology to help them. Because technology has saved my
- 1:13life. And I mean that guys.
- 1:15Before I had an iPad and A and A and an iPhone or a smart watch
- 1:19or an ox, I was completely useless.
- 1:20Like I couldn't remember to take on medication.
- 1:22I couldn't always get up. I couldn't always go to class.
- 1:24My life is pretty much a must. These assistive technologies,
- 1:27these accessibility technologies have changed my life, and I just
- 1:31wish I had heard about them earlier.
- 1:33So here's my recommendation of what you should be looking out
- 1:35for if you don't already have them.
- 1:36OK, so the first one is communication apps and devices.
- 1:39Communication devices, You can get different ones for autism.
- 1:43They'll be like small like iPad things or you can buy like a
- 1:46tablet. So any tablet would do you get a
- 1:49tablet, It could be an Android tablet, it could be an Amazon
- 1:52tablet, or it could be an Apple tablet, like the iPad.
- 1:56And you can get apps for these, like Proloto to go.
- 1:59I hope I'm saying that right, which is an app that allows you
- 2:02to hit symbols and it will speak for you.
- 2:05But if you don't have that app, you can actually just use the
- 2:08tablet to type out a word, highlight it, and get the actual
- 2:12tablet to speak for you. The accessibility functions of
- 2:15tablets have just absolutely exponentially increased.
- 2:18You know if you have an issue with typing, say you're dyslexic
- 2:20as well as autistic. I use mine to dictate to my
- 2:23phone on my iPad and it will type that out for me.
- 2:26I wrote my book Autism for Adults, which came out this
- 2:30year, September 26th. Now autism for Adults was
- 2:33written completely by me talking to my iPhone whilst running on a
- 2:36treadmill. Absolutely amazing.
- 2:38And that kind of technology, it's just absolutely like mind
- 2:41blowing. So definitely keep an eye out
- 2:43for tablets and apps for communication.
- 2:45The next one is sensory friendly devices.
- 2:47Now you can find a lot of different types of things like
- 2:49bubble lamps, strip lights. I have a bunch of different
- 2:52lights in my you see some behind me here.
- 2:54And those are so good because you can change down the warmth
- 2:58of them, you can change down the the brightness of them, you can
- 3:01change the color of them, you can have them match to music,
- 3:03make it really ambient and also big two bubble lamps.
- 3:06These are so good for sensory friendly houses or sensory
- 3:09friendly rooms and environments. I highly recommend checking them
- 3:12out because these are always really good ones that are on
- 3:14deal on Cyber Monday. Definitely check that out guys.
- 3:17If you are interested in anything you're talking about
- 3:19right now. I'm going to try and leave a
- 3:20link to everything on Amazon that I think is handy dandy for
- 3:23you guys so that you can actually check it out.
- 3:25So check the description, see the link and cover time on
- 3:28Monday. If it's on your watch list and
- 3:30it's been reduced, then you'll get a little from Amazon saying
- 3:32hey Amazon item in your watch list has been reduced which is
- 3:35super dope. Okay.
- 3:36So before we get any further, do you want to say thank you to
- 3:38today's video sponsor? Brilliant.
- 3:41Now Brilliant is a non prescription homeopathic
- 3:43medication I use specifically for ADHD, but you can use it
- 3:47mainly for things like anxiety and stress and reduced feelings
- 3:51of restlessness, irritability and impulsivity, which is also a
- 3:54really good bonus. Now the cool thing is that this
- 3:56actually helps increase focus and concentration, which I think
- 3:58is awesome. And it's completely like there's
- 4:00no nasties in it. This is not addictive.
- 4:02Super supernatural, right? So you can get your hands on
- 4:05this from the link in the description down below.
- 4:08And I will give you a disc help which you can use the code.
- 4:11Ask B-15 to get 15% off your first purchase.
- 4:14If you are thinking about taking brilliant, consult with your
- 4:16doctor first just to make sure that everything's kosher.
- 4:19OK, guys, let's get on with the video.
- 4:22OK, so the next thing is educational or learning apps.
- 4:24Now there are so many educational apps and learning
- 4:27apps, and what happens usually a Cyber Monday is that the app
- 4:30stores will have this discount rate or they'll have a
- 4:33percentage off of different types of apps.
- 4:35This could be things like the language and speech apps that
- 4:38could be learning for reading and writing, especially if
- 4:40you've got a tablet. It could be like using a stylus
- 4:42to read and write. Then it could be educational
- 4:44apps that could help you boost things.
- 4:46Like, you know, maybe it's English, or maybe it's
- 4:48mathematics, or maybe it's science.
- 4:50Keep a lookout for these apps because they're always a winner.
- 4:53So the next one is behavioural tracking and other types of
- 4:56wearable tech. Now wearable tech like a smart
- 4:59watch or or maybe like a Fitbit tracker.
- 5:02These are really good for something.
- 5:03Now the thing that I find really good to them is you can set up
- 5:06alarms that if your heart rate is increased or it raises, it
- 5:08can send you a little bit of an alert and it tells you to chill
- 5:11out and take a step back and do some breathing.
- 5:14That's fantastic for me. It's been amazing.
- 5:16Every time my heart increases and it knows that I'm about to
- 5:19meltdown, my Apple Watch on my smart watch will say to me, hey,
- 5:21take some time, take your breath.
- 5:23We can even do relaxation apps on on the watch.
- 5:25So different. Lookout for those wearable tech
- 5:28behavioral trackers. They're super awesome and they
- 5:30double up as watches and like fitness exercise things.
- 5:33These are really, really good to keep track of all your data and
- 5:36how your heart is fluctuating. OK, so these are the last two of
- 5:39my favorites. You the first one is virtual
- 5:41reality. Now I'm a huge virtual reality
- 5:44buff. Like I have a Metaquest Pro.
- 5:46I'm going to Metaquest 2 and I'm also going to buy the Metaquest
- 5:492 when it comes out. And the new Apple vision?
- 5:51The AR Mixed reality glasses. But the reason I found it so
- 5:54interesting is because there's things like job simulators on VR
- 5:58headsets. You can play games attracting
- 6:00people socially. Be who you want to be.
- 6:02The actual accessibility of having virtual reality headsets
- 6:06opens the door to so much possibilities and learnings.
- 6:08You can play things like Minecraft in VR.
- 6:10You can meet friends in in whole new worlds and and really
- 6:14interact with them and build social confidence.
- 6:16This thing has been amazing for me.
- 6:17I think without VR technology I think my life would be a lot
- 6:21more confined to just one room. But now me and my entire team,
- 6:25we work here on the after World. We have access to each other
- 6:28through VR and we can sit in like an office in a visual
- 6:30environment and it's absolutely amazing.
- 6:32So definitely look out for things like the Metaquest and
- 6:35and the Pico. Those two are probably the
- 6:37biggest ones right now. So I'll try and come down below
- 6:39again. And the last one, and I actually
- 6:41love this smart home technology. Yeah, Alexa, Google Home Hub or
- 6:45a Siri speaker. These are amazing and they're so
- 6:47affordable. OK guys, I'll see you in the
- 6:49next video. Peace.
- 6:54Hey guys, thank you so much for checking out this podcast.
- 6:56Make sure you are subscribed because there are people
- 6:58listening right now who are not subscribed to this podcast.
- 7:00I can see you. Make sure you subscribe.
- 7:03OK guys. See you in the next one.
- 7:04Peace.
