- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, Chrispy, it's been out here from or Awaken the Hate.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Obviously we've here to have a chat with you, and
- 0:06Speaker 1: Ryan should be joining us shortly, who's our drummer. And
- 0:10Speaker 1: then we've also got Justin our guitar who won't be
- 0:13Speaker 1: with us today, and Michael Doherty's filling in on bass
- 0:16Speaker 1: for this tour. So yeah, good a, here you go. Yeah,
- 0:19Speaker 1: good to join you. Bet.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Thanks for joining us today.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Brother, Thanks Mahet, thanks for having us.
- 0:24Speaker 3: No, so we've got a bit to get through today,
- 0:26Speaker 3: but we'll start off with your most recent single, Planet Death,
- 0:29Speaker 3: which was released last Friday.
- 0:31Speaker 2: So it was a third single that you released in
- 0:34Speaker 2: the last month, bro. So how was the reception for it?
- 0:38Speaker 1: Well, it's yeah. Like you said, it came out yesterday
- 0:41Speaker 1: so it's only been overnight. But all things so far,
- 0:46Speaker 1: it's pretty good. I think the biggest reception has actually
- 0:49Speaker 1: been from Ryan and Justin, who I think have actually
- 0:52Speaker 1: finally heard the song for the first time, even though
- 0:54Speaker 1: they've been playing it for a year. Obviously, like in
- 0:59Speaker 1: a band, like what you hear out the back and
- 1:02Speaker 1: on the side versus what everyone's hearing at the front
- 1:05Speaker 1: is very, very different, so they finally heard it mixed
- 1:07Speaker 1: and master to go, oh, that's what this song sounds like.
- 1:12Speaker 1: It's actually interesting to have that idea floating around that
- 1:15Speaker 1: your own band doesn't know what your own song's sound like,
- 1:17Speaker 1: even though they've been the ones performing them, which I've
- 1:20Speaker 1: always found a little bit interesting.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Three part concept driven series of standalone singles of tracks
- 1:30Speaker 3: dubed Death, War, and Fire. Now I want to run
- 1:32Speaker 3: through each of the songs individually, But firstly, what is
- 1:35Speaker 3: the concept behind the trilogy?
- 1:37Speaker 1: Well, originally, well actually the whole idea that these three
- 1:42Speaker 1: songs got released. So Steve, who started Awake and the Hate,
- 1:47Speaker 1: made the decision at the end of last year to
- 1:49Speaker 1: step away. That was all for his personal reasons, but
- 1:54Speaker 1: these were the last of the three songs that he
- 1:57Speaker 1: wrote with the band, and we thought this would be
- 2:00Speaker 1: a fitting way to say goodbye, so he actually came
- 2:03Speaker 1: back to record them with us. He's still a very
- 2:07Speaker 1: good friend of the band and the door is always
- 2:08Speaker 1: open if he ever wants to come back. We're currently
- 2:11Speaker 1: not replacing him with the second guitarist. We're just going
- 2:15Speaker 1: to do this tour with one guitarist. Yeah, So Ryan's
- 2:22Speaker 1: just sent me a message you'll be joining very very shortly.
- 2:26Speaker 1: So yeah, so that was sort of the idea. And
- 2:29Speaker 1: then obviously, you know, they all each song sort of
- 2:34Speaker 1: tackles something differently, something environmental, with this current one Planet
- 2:38Speaker 1: Death very political.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Good a Ryan, Hey boys.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Good morning, thanks for joining us.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Brother Hey great, Sorry, but they made a good caught
- 2:46Speaker 5: up between Bundy and Agnes.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Is you today?
- 2:49Speaker 6: So we're just we're just run over the third and
- 2:54Speaker 6: last single actually, and then we're about to start on
- 2:56Speaker 6: the singles breaking down one by one, so we'll let
- 2:59Speaker 6: better finish off what he was on about them.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, like I was saying, so, yeah, Planet Death's
- 3:06Speaker 1: environmental contradiction of war was very political, and then Reign
- 3:09Speaker 1: of Fire is a bit more sort of spiritual about
- 3:14Speaker 1: the whole thing. So that's sort of what the concept
- 3:15Speaker 1: about it was. And then releasing them as a trilogy
- 3:19Speaker 1: was to say thanks to Steve and also finally get
- 3:22Speaker 1: a bit more than two tracks on the out there
- 3:24Speaker 1: for people.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Nice now, Reign and Fire was the first cab off
- 3:28Speaker 3: the rank. So tell us about that song in my detail?
- 3:31Speaker 1: Ah, well, that that was the one that I never
- 3:35Speaker 1: ever wanted to record it. If I'm one hundred percent honest,
- 3:38Speaker 1: because well, it's the initial concept was it's based on
- 3:44Speaker 1: the movie Reign of Fire with Christian Bale and Steve McConaughey,
- 3:48Speaker 1: So you know, it's a dragon and all of that.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But the fans love it. Everyone's seen all the boys
- 3:54Speaker 1: have always enjoyed playing it, and it connects. So we're like, cool,
- 3:58Speaker 1: let's get them all out there. And that was that
- 4:01Speaker 1: was sort of the basic concept behind Rain and Fire.
- 4:04Speaker 2: What's it about, lyrically, tell me it's not about Bettey mcgooney.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Oh well, it is about a dragon that's you know,
- 4:14Speaker 1: coming from like deep within the earth to wreak havoc
- 4:18Speaker 1: upon an apocalyptic world or create an apocalyptic world, which
- 4:23Speaker 1: also sets up the rest of the trilogy. Just really
- 4:27Speaker 1: basic concepts of you know, it's very very easy for
- 4:31Speaker 1: the human race to be wiped out, and I think
- 4:34Speaker 1: sometimes we forget how fragile we really are, whether it
- 4:36Speaker 1: be a mythical dragon or you know, we've all experienced
- 4:41Speaker 1: a few things in the last three to four years
- 4:43Speaker 1: that have caused disruption to the planet.
- 4:47Speaker 2: And on that particular song to launch the trilogy.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Basically because it didn't have a guitar, Soloy Okay, that
- 4:57Speaker 1: was that was Yeah, that was the reason it's not
- 5:01Speaker 1: very not a lot of thought went into it. Oh well,
- 5:04Speaker 1: it literally was that it was no guitar solo. Figure,
- 5:07Speaker 1: we'll get the one that's just a heavy headbang and
- 5:10Speaker 1: like smack you in the face introduction to the trilogy,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and then then we'll get into the ones that I
- 5:18Speaker 1: also think that the next two lyrically have got a
- 5:20Speaker 1: lot more depth to them. So Rain of Fire to
- 5:23Speaker 1: me was like, cool, that's the fun one. We'll get
- 5:25Speaker 1: that out of the road and then we'll get the
- 5:27Speaker 1: two hard hitters.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Speaking of hard hitters, the next one was Contradiction of War,
- 5:32Speaker 3: which was very hard hitting.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Mate, tell us more about that one and what it's about.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Well, obviously we released it on Anzac Day, which I
- 5:41Speaker 1: discussed with Brian because his missus actually works for what's
- 5:45Speaker 1: it called, Ryan.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Yeah, she's she's basically works with for Veterans so in
- 5:50Speaker 5: like a eCos distant after Veterans Australia. So it was like, yeah, well,
- 5:56Speaker 5: well timed kind of released for the track considering a
- 5:58Speaker 5: lot of us have ties to the military and so yeah,
- 6:02Speaker 5: so it was a good day to kind of get
- 6:04Speaker 5: that one out there.
- 6:07Speaker 3: And at the moment attribute to the fallen soldiers or
- 6:09Speaker 3: was it more of indictment against governed policies on a
- 6:12Speaker 3: day with the deaths of so many of you remembered.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Well, I think it's about awareness. Like obviously ANZAC Day
- 6:18Speaker 1: and Australia's a very very special day and it's for
- 6:22Speaker 1: us to remember the fallen soldiers. But I think some
- 6:26Speaker 1: of it times we forget that not all of these
- 6:29Speaker 1: guys had the best time while they were doing and women,
- 6:33Speaker 1: I should say, and then when they get back as well,
- 6:36Speaker 1: it's we forget about how hard it is. And I
- 6:39Speaker 1: think that releasing it on an Anzac Day was a
- 6:43Speaker 1: way of saying, hey, we respect everything that's going on,
- 6:47Speaker 1: but maybe we should have a deep think about why
- 6:50Speaker 1: these conflicts are happening and why we're sending young our
- 6:55Speaker 1: future off to get killed.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Essentially, did you get much feedback from that that's about this?
- 7:02Speaker 1: Not negative? Were the feedback we actually got back was
- 7:06Speaker 1: all positive about the actual track, So I think that's
- 7:10Speaker 1: a pretty good indictment in where people are they can
- 7:14Speaker 1: take the message and then actually focused on the music,
- 7:18Speaker 1: which was great for us because we're really really happy
- 7:21Speaker 1: with this one, the mix and the master came back huge. Yeah,
- 7:26Speaker 1: and we actually did something really really different, well not
- 7:30Speaker 1: really really different, but a little bit different. All of
- 7:32Speaker 1: this was recorded without a click track, so this is
- 7:35Speaker 1: all Ryan set the tone, and it's his drums are
- 7:38Speaker 1: not replaced. It's all We recorded the bass tracks live,
- 7:43Speaker 1: added guitar solos and vocal second. But I think you
- 7:47Speaker 1: can feel that too. It's got the emotion, it's got
- 7:51Speaker 1: that groove, that drive about it. That doesn't have that
- 7:54Speaker 1: clinical like we've been We've done this by a computer.
- 8:00Speaker 4: On Friday.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Of course, your releases thirty concluding chapter cled Platt Death,
- 8:04Speaker 3: So tell us more about that one.
- 8:06Speaker 1: That one's very very simple. I think it's a theme
- 8:09Speaker 1: that I'm I connect with, and that's you know, the
- 8:12Speaker 1: apocalyptic themes with particularly in regards to the environment and
- 8:18Speaker 1: to political but particularly in the environment, particularly in this
- 8:24Speaker 1: carbon field world. We've got an election on today and
- 8:26Speaker 1: obviously in the environment's been very very big in that
- 8:29Speaker 1: and it's definitely a theme that I connect with. Plus
- 8:34Speaker 1: you heard Ryan's drums on it. How kicks are they?
- 8:39Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:39Speaker 5: It gets you moving and I find the player. We
- 8:42Speaker 5: smashed that out like in the studio. I think we
- 8:45Speaker 5: had maybe what two three takes to get that down
- 8:49Speaker 5: without a click track, without overlaying, you know, everyone's different instruments, and.
- 8:55Speaker 4: You know, without a whole day in the studio. We
- 8:57Speaker 4: smashed it out pretty quick.
- 8:58Speaker 5: So it's pretty good to hear when it comes when
- 9:00Speaker 5: it plays back, especially people like me, Like I sit
- 9:03Speaker 5: behind the kit most of the time. So when I
- 9:05Speaker 5: when I joined this band, I didn't actually I'd heard
- 9:08Speaker 5: bits and pieces of recordings of songs, but I've never
- 9:11Speaker 5: actually heard them front of stage.
- 9:13Speaker 4: So until this, until you recorded these, I actually.
- 9:16Speaker 5: Never heard them as a as a spectator.
- 9:18Speaker 4: I'd only ever heard them behind the kit.
- 9:20Speaker 5: So to me, everything sounded loud and massive, and and
- 9:23Speaker 5: then when I heard them back, I was like, shit, man,
- 9:24Speaker 5: this is fucking this is why people like this.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Shit, it's fucking good to listen to.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Yeah, those three songs are standalone tracks, but you said
- 9:36Speaker 3: that they kick off an explosive thematic arc that will
- 9:38Speaker 3: carry over to your debut album, Like, can you elaborate
- 9:41Speaker 3: on that arc?
- 9:43Speaker 4: And you on that one, Ryan or yeah?
- 9:45Speaker 5: So we I mean obviously, you know Steven Bennoh with
- 9:49Speaker 5: Wake and the Hate for years before me and Juddy
- 9:52Speaker 5: joined the band, you know, had a particular I guess
- 9:56Speaker 5: an agenda with with with the songwriting and see songwriting,
- 9:59Speaker 5: and and with the kind of groove metal which we
- 10:03Speaker 5: all love that we've I've got a massive background and
- 10:05Speaker 5: passion in groove metal, and so I was chazy the
- 10:08Speaker 5: rest of the boys, But I think when we joined
- 10:10Speaker 5: the band, we kind of thought, if we start taking
- 10:12Speaker 5: it in a new direction, we can start pushing it
- 10:15Speaker 5: a little.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Faster, a little more aggressive.
- 10:17Speaker 5: I mean, if you listen to the old Wake and
- 10:18Speaker 5: the Hate stuff, even the songs that we're now playing
- 10:21Speaker 5: probably like half the speed. So we've kind of up
- 10:24Speaker 5: the tempo and it's that feel. I mean, I've got
- 10:27Speaker 5: a huge passion behind that particular you know BPM for
- 10:31Speaker 5: you know, for listeners and what gets people really pumped
- 10:33Speaker 5: up and motivated. So I think with the new tracks,
- 10:36Speaker 5: you'll hear a little bit more of that, a little
- 10:38Speaker 5: bit more aggression, a little bit more tempo, a little
- 10:40Speaker 5: bit more.
- 10:41Speaker 4: You know ferocity, and the way that we write the music.
- 10:43Speaker 5: But then the lyrics and the you know, and the
- 10:46Speaker 5: and the drive behind the band was driven up to
- 10:48Speaker 5: this point and made it so successful as will say
- 10:51Speaker 5: the same, So you'll just see a little bit of
- 10:53Speaker 5: a difference in relation. There's some new input from say,
- 10:55Speaker 5: you know, the newer members of the band, but still
- 10:57Speaker 5: having that whole awake in the hate you know ethos
- 11:00Speaker 5: that they've always kind of carried from halfrom back in
- 11:04Speaker 5: the day to now.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Yeah, is that plic fan driven? Like, do you think
- 11:08Speaker 3: your fans want to hear that? Or are you sort
- 11:10Speaker 3: of experimenting people that hoping they come along for the ride.
- 11:13Speaker 5: No, I think it's well, I mean, I haven't met
- 11:15Speaker 5: all the fans, but I met a few of the ones,
- 11:17Speaker 5: you know that have been there for quite some time.
- 11:19Speaker 5: But every time we release a new song, every time
- 11:22Speaker 5: we play like I've been with the band now for
- 11:23Speaker 5: over over a year, and you get feedback from the
- 11:27Speaker 5: way that we're now playing maybe some of those songs
- 11:30Speaker 5: and obviously we haven't had a chance to really you know,
- 11:32Speaker 5: smash them with this new.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Stuff out yet, but I guess it'll be hard to
- 11:35Speaker 4: tell it.
- 11:35Speaker 5: We'll get more of an idea when we start playing
- 11:38Speaker 5: these new tracks on tour, you know, in the next
- 11:41Speaker 5: week or two, and then we get some feedback from
- 11:44Speaker 5: from the crowd, from the audience, and you know, I
- 11:46Speaker 5: think they'll I think they'll like I mean, most of
- 11:47Speaker 5: the people that I know that listen to this kind
- 11:49Speaker 5: of shit, you know, love music for what it is
- 11:53Speaker 5: and how it makes them feel. I think, you know,
- 11:56Speaker 5: that little tiny change, when it comes down to it, it
- 11:58Speaker 5: won't make much of a difference. I think people will
- 12:00Speaker 5: still love the whole. You know what Wake and Hate
- 12:03Speaker 5: brings to the stage. It's always a show, it's always
- 12:05Speaker 5: an experience. It's always lyrically unreal.
- 12:08Speaker 4: And I think people just love that side of it.
- 12:10Speaker 5: So I don't think making those small changes to you know,
- 12:13Speaker 5: to influence will change that. I think it will just
- 12:16Speaker 5: hopefully bring more people on board, you know, so it
- 12:19Speaker 5: happens nice.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Now.
- 12:20Speaker 3: On the subject of the debut album, guys, what are
- 12:22Speaker 3: the plans that have you started writing it or have
- 12:24Speaker 3: you put that on old to you finish the tour
- 12:27Speaker 3: coming up?
- 12:28Speaker 1: No, I know, it's definitely started. We're actually taking two
- 12:31Speaker 1: new songs on tour with us to road test them.
- 12:35Speaker 4: So.
- 12:37Speaker 1: One of them is really really fresh, So that'd be
- 12:39Speaker 1: interesting to see how the performance element goes on that.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I don't the crowd will definitely hear what it's like
- 12:46Speaker 1: to not know your song.
- 12:47Speaker 5: Well when when he says fresh he means we haven't
- 12:50Speaker 5: actually played it all the way through yet.
- 12:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it's gonna fresh Man.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Yeah. But these for me, I get to add a
- 13:00Speaker 1: lot more lyrical content now that that I'm becoming the
- 13:05Speaker 1: main lyric writer. Are like Steve's no longer with us,
- 13:09Speaker 1: and what I'm trying to do is actually get a
- 13:12Speaker 1: lot more political and a lot more less personal, Like
- 13:16Speaker 1: I don't want to write internally. I want to write
- 13:19Speaker 1: more about universally issues that everyone's dealing with. So so
- 13:26Speaker 1: we'll see we're going to take them on tour that
- 13:28Speaker 1: definitely they take they do take off where like I
- 13:35Speaker 1: guess more Planet depths finished and then you can see
- 13:38Speaker 1: where we're going from that. And yeah, I'm actually I'm
- 13:43Speaker 1: pretty happy because one of the new ones I actually
- 13:44Speaker 1: even wrote the guitar riff for, so so we'll see.
- 13:48Speaker 1: It's I'm excited about it. We've got a few things
- 13:52Speaker 1: in the back pocket with discussions with in Europe at
- 13:55Speaker 1: the moment, which we can't say too much about, but
- 13:58Speaker 1: that will be tied to the new album. So we'll see.
- 14:00Speaker 1: There's definitely two new tracks along with the ones that
- 14:04Speaker 1: have been released coming on too with us as.
- 14:06Speaker 3: We now speaking of tour awakened the hair to taking
- 14:10Speaker 3: the songs on the road for four shows on a
- 14:13Speaker 3: four day run, starting in Perth on May the eighth.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Then you get Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney over consecutive days.
- 14:18Speaker 3: That's the running out slug for your first national tool.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Four shows in four days and four stage.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Yeah, that's my fault.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Sorry, Yeah, I mean obviously we know we're all I mean,
- 14:29Speaker 5: we love being in the bands.
- 14:31Speaker 4: We could be four time rock stars.
- 14:32Speaker 5: I'm sure we'd all be doing that, but a lot
- 14:34Speaker 5: of us still have families and jobs and things like
- 14:36Speaker 5: that we're going to get back to.
- 14:37Speaker 4: So I think the endly way to make.
- 14:38Speaker 5: It work this time was to trying to you know,
- 14:41Speaker 5: get away on a Thursday, get back on a Monday,
- 14:44Speaker 5: get back to life.
- 14:44Speaker 4: So we had that much of a choice.
- 14:46Speaker 5: So basically, yeah, we jump on the jump on the
- 14:49Speaker 5: flight on I think Wednesday night, we get into Perth,
- 14:53Speaker 5: We've got a day in wa where we'll hopefully get
- 14:56Speaker 5: a chance to have a bit of a rehearsal and
- 14:58Speaker 5: then yeah we've got I mean, Beno's done all the
- 15:01Speaker 5: work here of it we've done. We've got shows. Yeah,
- 15:03Speaker 5: so I mean Thursday night and then straight out. I
- 15:06Speaker 5: think we're on a plane the next morning at seven
- 15:08Speaker 5: to fly to Adelaide, and then the next morning on
- 15:10Speaker 5: another plane to fly to Melbourne. Then the next day
- 15:13Speaker 5: in the morning fight to Sydney, and then although my
- 15:17Speaker 5: twenty year old brain reckons will be totally sweet with
- 15:19Speaker 5: all that stuff, I think our forty year old bodies
- 15:21Speaker 5: are going to probably cop a bit of a flogging.
- 15:22Speaker 4: But we don't have much of a choice.
- 15:24Speaker 5: And I think that's that's the difference between work and play.
- 15:28Speaker 5: Like if it was a four day work conference, I
- 15:30Speaker 5: reckon I'll be dead by the day three. But I
- 15:32Speaker 5: think the fact that we jump on stage and do
- 15:34Speaker 5: what we love and hopefully please please the fans and
- 15:38Speaker 5: the crowds that turn up, it doesn't matter how you
- 15:41Speaker 5: feel when you get on stage. That kind of gets
- 15:42Speaker 5: you through your set, and then you know you want
- 15:44Speaker 5: to enjoy your time with the fans after that, And
- 15:46Speaker 5: then I reckon that'll get us through, so you know,
- 15:49Speaker 5: we'll see what happens. I'm pretty fit. I reckon I'll
- 15:51Speaker 5: make it through. Ben, what about you, mate.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I've lost, I'll put it all back on and oh yeah, yeah,
- 16:01Speaker 1: you probably will.
- 16:02Speaker 5: We're going to put some weight on this tour. But
- 16:03Speaker 5: now we can I reckon, we can deal with it.
- 16:05Speaker 5: We're motivated where everything's well organized. That's big thanks to
- 16:08Speaker 5: Benet for doing all the organization for this particular tour.
- 16:11Speaker 5: But everything's organized and we know what we're doing, so
- 16:14Speaker 5: I think I think, just yeah, enthusiasm, we'll get us
- 16:17Speaker 5: through the four.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I've got to say to you, good on you for
- 16:20Speaker 2: taking it to Perth.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Tig.
- 16:21Speaker 3: They're always streaming out for music over there, so hopefully
- 16:24Speaker 3: they get behind it when you take it over there.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Well that was Justin's idea. So he was over there
- 16:30Speaker 1: last year as a guitar tech for one of the
- 16:34Speaker 1: headliners on the Red Hot Summer tour and it was like, man,
- 16:37Speaker 1: we've got to get the Perth and like cool, So
- 16:40Speaker 1: we actually based this whole tour around getting to Perth. Unfortunately,
- 16:44Speaker 1: I know everyone in Perth was like can you do
- 16:46Speaker 1: Friday or Saturday? And I'd love to, but unfortunately this
- 16:50Speaker 1: time around we can't. But luckily I've got some friends
- 16:54Speaker 1: over there and the band Voyage was actually given up
- 16:58Speaker 1: their back line, which is going to so that's very
- 17:03Speaker 1: and they got a new song out as well, and
- 17:05Speaker 1: it's good to see Danny back. Oh man. I'm sure
- 17:10Speaker 1: like they've had a rough rough time since Eurovision, but
- 17:14Speaker 1: I'm just I'm going to be stoked to have a
- 17:15Speaker 1: beer with the guys and girls. So yeah, it's perhap
- 17:19Speaker 1: should be fun. Yeah, I'm looking forward to so right through.
- 17:24Speaker 3: A typical Awaken Hate live shoting guys had a lot
- 17:26Speaker 3: of people around these faces, wouldn't have seen it before.
- 17:28Speaker 4: So yeah, theyd.
- 17:31Speaker 5: H well expect noise, expects energy, expects a ridiculous show.
- 17:38Speaker 5: I mean, I've been to millions of metal shows and
- 17:40Speaker 5: they're always sick, but I think the ones that are,
- 17:43Speaker 5: you know, a bit of ad lib and Veno as
- 17:45Speaker 5: a front man's always makes it super fun. So the
- 17:47Speaker 5: crowd is going to get involved instead of just jumping
- 17:50Speaker 5: out there on stage and playing your ship and getting
- 17:51Speaker 5: off like we like to get on there and make
- 17:53Speaker 5: sure the crowds involved having a good time and then yeah,
- 17:56Speaker 5: and the music speaks for itself. I think it's got that,
- 17:59Speaker 5: it's got that feel. It really gets people involved into it.
- 18:01Speaker 5: So we're expecting a fair bit of mosh and heaps
- 18:03Speaker 5: a sweat and probably a couple of beers and then
- 18:07Speaker 5: about five beers stuck in front of or behind. He
- 18:09Speaker 5: actually makes a mistake of leaving him close to the
- 18:11Speaker 5: drum kit, so he down at the hard way after
- 18:13Speaker 5: the last show that if he leaves them to close
- 18:14Speaker 5: to me, I'll be drinking them.
- 18:15Speaker 4: But anyway, yeah, fans are going to love it.
- 18:18Speaker 5: I think I'm They're in for a massive show and
- 18:20Speaker 5: anyway it turns up, it's not going to be disappointed.
- 18:22Speaker 4: I promise him that break.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Could people find out more about the tour or follow
- 18:27Speaker 2: the band?
- 18:28Speaker 1: Uh? Facebook? Instagram? Yeah, we've got the links that there's
- 18:34Speaker 1: on There's a link in Instagram and Facebook to our
- 18:38Speaker 1: link tree which has a link to all the tickets.
- 18:42Speaker 1: So I think it's odds ticks for Perth, Perth Adelaide
- 18:46Speaker 1: and Sydney is oz TIS and it's event bright in Melbourne.
- 18:50Speaker 1: We're actually playing the Cherry Bar in Melbourne, which is
- 18:52Speaker 1: obviously a very popular live music venue in Melbourne. I'm
- 18:57Speaker 1: super stoked. Last time I was there, I was actually
- 18:59Speaker 1: drinking with Masterdon so that was pretty fun.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Oh they come to shame.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that was one of the good things support slots,
- 19:07Speaker 1: so I was ended up there, great night out and
- 19:10Speaker 1: the venue said, well, if you'll come into Melbourne play
- 19:13Speaker 1: our venue and I said okay, yeah, well thanks.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Very much for joining us.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Date of Trulogy of Songs is out now and it's
- 19:20Speaker 3: the Cracker Chor starts next weekend, So get behind these
- 19:24Speaker 3: Queensland boys while they take it to the world.
